Perran Dairy Ice Cream Parlour is a popular spot in Perranporth, Cornwall. This charming parlour offers a delightful selection of ice cream flavors and treats. Visitors can indulge in creamy scoops of ice cream made from locally sourced ingredients. The parlour's cozy ambiance and friendly service make it a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Whether you're craving classic flavors or unique creations, Perran Dairy has something to satisfy every ice cream lover's cravings.
The scones for the cream tea are a little small, so can seem overpriced, but they taste wonderful and the ice cream here is just incredible. Came back 2 days in a row just to try more of the flavours, and enjoyed every single one. Lots and lots of options of flavours, cones and toppings and they even have a frozen yogurt option which is delicious too. Staff are also lovely and helpful.

Excellent ice cream sundaes, best Knickerbockerglory I've had in years
MARK W — Google review
Dog friendly ice cream parlour! The ice cream is made on site which is great. Lovely choice of flavours. We got two Scoops each and there was soooo much. The flavours didn't taste how you would expect when getting the flavour, the Pistachio didn't taste like Pistachio.
Julia J — Google review
Ice cream tasted cheap and watery. The cone was the best bit, so disappointing. Good selection of flavours all looked nice, we had 5 different flavours across 3 ice creams none were great sorry to say :(
Alice B — Google review
It was just okay. I had ice cream here many years ago and on my latest visit I was quite disappointed that the quality had gone downhill. Came in a group of 6, tried a little of everyone's ice cream, nothing stood out. Our dog had a peanut butter "dog ice-cream" and really liked it.
Eva A — Google review
Fantastic ice cream and safe for coeliacs. Labels showing gluten. Staff very aware of coeliac disease and understanding about changing utensils etc. GF cones available too. Lovely tasting ice cream. Great flavour and service. Thank you for your understanding.
Maria S — Google review
It's a nice little place to stop. I had the pizza this time round with a latte and I enjoyed it. Staff are friendly and attentive. I will be coming back to try some of the desserts.
Christina S — Google review
I came in yesterday with my family for some ice cream after a walk in Perranporth. The staff were lovely, and the young lady who served me was particularly attentive to my gluten allergy (sterilising the scoop). Would definitely recommend to anyone out and about in Perranporth!

Mr B's Ice Cream is a popular parlour in Hayle, offering artisanal ice cream made with locally-sourced Cornish produce and fine Italian ingredients. The reasonable prices and wide selection of flavors make it a favorite among bargain-hunting foodies. With locations in both Copperhouse and Foundry, this institution delights guests of all ages with its tastebud-boggling flavors. Customers praise the excellent service provided by Nikki for weddings, as well as the delicious ice cream served at events.
Lovely mid holiday treat of waffles and delicious ice cream! Good range of tasty flavours at a reasonable price. Team serving us were very lovely and friendly to our little ones, even when they took forever to choose what they wanted!
Callumno7 — Google review
Certainly lovely icecream but the shop in Copperhouse has a very small counter, it could do with a bigger counter with two people serving. I was in there today and it was a quiet a long queue going out into the street I nearly left but I stayed. Two people behind me left after a while and it is not summer holidays yet. It is a large area in there for people to eat their icecreams but has small area to queue and to get served which is very disappointing.
Sid P — Google review
We hired Mr B's vintage ice cream van for an event the day after our wedding and it was brilliant! Our guests absolutely loved it, the ice cream was delicious and Nikki who was serving and also planned the event wirh us is so incredibly helpful and lovely. We went to a tasting session earlier on in the year at one of the shops and that was a great experience too. There are so many flavours to choose from including dairy free/vegan options.
Roxanne G — Google review
We had a really great experience here recently. The ice creams were genuinely so creamy, and the texture was probably the best I've ever enjoyed. Plus their vegan range was really wonderful, with so many unique flavours to try! There was also a really kind staff member who not only gave us a wonderful service that day, who allowed us to try all the vegan flavours, and was just an overall friendly person. But they were also kind enough to offer me a glass of water to take my morning medication when they noticed I needed it- I'm disabled, and had forgotten my own water bottle, so I really did appriciate their kind help.
Pastel O — Google review
Nikki provided the absolute best service possible for our recent wedding. Great communication before the event, an incredible in parlour tasting experience and THE best ice cream and service in the day of our wedding no couldn’t recommend Nikki and her vintage ice cream van highly enough for your wedding. A choice of 6 flavours, cones, tubs, flakes and personalised wafers. Thank you Nikki for totally rocking it and being such a memorable part of our day for ourselves and our guests.

Amazing Ice Cream! Really generous and the Chocolate Sorbet in particular was amazing plus the homemade Fudge sticks were LUSH!! The staff were really friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend and will be back soon!!

I really enjoyed my first visit to this local ice cream parlour. Tori was very kind and prepared a fantastic fresh waffle with my selected choices of wonderful ice cream, cherry and pecan.
William — Google review
Lovely service here by the lady serving us. The ice cream was a good portion size and tasted nice, Wouldn’t of said the ice cream was anything out of the ordinary though. Although would of liked a clotted cream flavour which is one of my favourites. My partner had the lotus biscoff and said she enjoyed it but was a little fiddly to eat when it came to the waffle with the spoon provided. Would have again though. Thank you

Moomaid Of Zennor Ice Cream Parlour is a beloved spot in St Ives, offering locally-made ice cream from nearby Zennor. Visitors can enjoy individual scoops in cups or cones, as well as indulgent sundaes. One must-try flavor is the Shipwreck, featuring clotted cream ice cream with salted caramel and honeycomb. The parlour also offers a variety of interesting and classic flavors to choose from.
The lady who served me and my husband was so nice and welcoming even though we took a bit of time to decide what to order. Also, the brownie sundae was amazing! 🤩
Kkaiev — Google review
Decent queue when we got there, and can see why - the banana clotted cream fudge ice cream might be one of my favourite flavours ever, and the others (shipwreck, summer berries) weren’t half bad either. Highly recommend trying if you’re on the beach
Harry O — Google review
I don't know the name of the girl who served us, but she did an excellent job! She was so efficient at getting our orders ready, very welcoming, and presented our ice cream so expertly; most places the ice cream is placed in a cup or cone haphazardly.. not here it seems. The place seems clean too (which will immediately get a place stars in my reviews). I'd recommend and can only hope everyone else's experience was as good as ours.
Joseph F — Google review
Wonderful ice cream flavours, generous scoops. Shipwrecked, Moomaid Mess and Lemon curd and clotted cream were just some of our favourites and we sampled a few! 😍 great smoothies, coffee and hot chocolate too to warm up on the beach on the cooler days!

When exploring the picturesque Padstow, make sure to visit Cherry Trees Coffee House for a delightful experience. Sit inside and enjoy stunning views of the harbor while sipping on artisan coffee and indulging in delicious Cornish food like seafood chowder and open crab sandwiches. Run by a passionate New Zealand native with a family history of cafes in Padstow, this cozy spot offers scrumptious breakfasts and light lunches alongside delectable sweet treats.
We stopped here for breakfast before going on one of the Sea Safari’s and so glad we tried this place! The food was amazing, I had the Harbourside Start which was the perfect size and my partner had the Full Cornish. Everything was cooked perfectly and so tasty. I also couldn’t resist a slice of the chocolate layer cake because it looked amazing and tasted even better! The service was fabulous, everyone was really friendly, it was super quick but not rushed, and there were plenty of staff but all there for a reason and it didn’t feel like too much. We’ll gladly come here again next time we’re in Padstow!
Ellie G — Google review
Have to say, the coffee here is some of the best I've had. We had some gorgeous food here and ther service was friendly and quick. Our only let down was that the cake we had after wasn't quite cooked in the middle so we had to leave some of it. We would still recommend it and we would return.
Richard O — Google review
The best cafe in Cornwall! Fabulous service, incredible cakes, great coffee. They even have a takeaway hatch if you're in a hurry as there is usually a wait for a table. The wait, however, is worth it! The photos are from previous years, so any prices will be out of date.
G&H E — Google review
Came with a family of 4 for breakfast on a weekend, lovely cosy place with great food and coffee. This place is clearly the go-to in the village for breakfast/brunch and given the size of the place you should definitely come early for a table. Service was spectacular too and I believe 3 different ladies there checked in on us, all very attentive.
Aaron C — Google review
Was really busy and absolutely deserved to be so. Our pasties and cakes were amazing, my toffee popcorn cheesecake a particular treat and the colleagues were really lovely. If there's a queue then wait, it's totally worth it!!
Doug D — Google review
Only real negative is the cafe has only a small seating area. You can put your name on a queue but peak summer this could be a long wait. We were lucky and only had to wait 20mins. Food, service, etc all fantastic.
John S — Google review
Had a really nice and delicious cream tea this afternoon. Quality Darjeeling, warm and fresh scones with quality clotted cream. Service staff was friendly and although a lot of guests were being served not rushed. Can definitely recommend

Nauti But Ice, located in Porthleven, is a popular spot offering a variety of treats. Initially known for its ice cream, it has expanded to include a pizzeria serving wood-fired pizza with picturesque views of the harbor. With over 30 flavors of Roskilly's ice cream to choose from, visitors can take their treat on the go or relax in the vibrant cafe while enjoying coffee and cake or even a full English breakfast.
Delicious breakfast waffles over looking Porthleven outer Harbour and clock tower , we sat outside watching the world go by. We just rocked up and lucky to get a seat, the staff are friendly and attentive , they serve great tasting coffee , the cakes and pastries looked amazing.
Susan C — Google review
Reasonable prices and very tasty food. Had a BLT (£7.75), Carrot Cake (£4) and an Iced Latte (£3.50) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautiful views across Porthleven Harbour are a huge bonus.
Phil W — Google review
Tea was awful, no-one ever told these kids to add ‘one for the pot’. Carrot cake was nice though. No atmosphere in the cafe, over crowded and over priced. Once was enough, I wouldn’t go back.
Jo W — Google review
A five-star coastal masterpiece — food, atmosphere, and soul all rolled into one. Nauti But Ice isn’t just a café — it’s an experience. The kind of place where time slows down, the sea sparkles, and every bite, every smile, and every song hits just right. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were welcomed like old friends. Lily and Emily, were absolute rays of sunshine — effortlessly balancing charm, professionalism, and that extra sparkle that turns a good visit into an unforgettable one. And let’s not forget the masterminds behind it all — Dave and Lucy (I think thats what they said their names were !), who clearly run this beloved spot like a well-oiled, joy-filled machine. Then we moved across to their pizza side. Oh. My. Days. Dan Dan the Pizza Man is nothing short of a local legend. His pizza creations are a thing of beauty — crispy, chewy, flavour-packed slices of heaven. He’s not just making pizza — he’s conducting a full-blown flavour symphony. And we can’t go without giving a massive shoutout to Fred, who served us with warmth and professionalism. And then — as if the sea view, the food, and the welcome weren’t already perfect — the music. The playlist was a stroke of genius. Not just background noise — it was a curated emotional journey. When “And a Bang on the Ear” by The Waterboys started playing, it felt like the whole harbour took a breath and joined the rhythm. That rich, rolling melody drifting out over the tables as the waves lapped nearby? It was cinematic. Romantic. Like something out of a film where everything comes together in a single, golden moment. It wasn’t just a meal. It was a memory — stitched together by great food, lovely people, and one absolutely iconic song. If you find yourself in Cornwall and don’t visit Nauti But Ice and Dan Dan’s pizza paradise, you are genuinely missing out on one of the south coast’s most heartwarming, delicious, and soulful experiences. We will be back!
Morwenna H — Google review
2023 update... had a fantastic pizza today upon our arrival in Cornwall. Perfectly cooked and just the right amount of toppings. The staff are fantastic. Can't do enough to make you feel welcome. A superb place. 2022... Great location, especially if you get a seat outside in the sun. Great pizza and garlic breads, small but good selection of drinks. Bottles of tap water in the fridge. Great table service from friendly staff.

Great location overlooking the harbour. The best fish finger sandwiches we've had. Decent prices too.

I don’t think anyone should leave Porthleven without having a Cream Tea ice cream cone! Heaven Eatit inside. Seagulls are thugs. I’ve been mugged and robbed !😁 The young people that work here are lovely. Personable and efficient. It’s a pleasure not to be missed.

Situated in Wadebridge, Nice Baps appears to be an ordinary roadside cafe with a slightly risqué name. However, this budget-friendly eatery is renowned as one of Cornwall's top dining establishments. Its reputation is attributed partly to the delectable and high-quality baps it offers – these are freshly baked rolls filled with a variety of savory delights such as bacon or even a full English breakfast.
Absolutely the best breakfast I have had in a long time. The staff are so friendly and your not kept waiting around. .oh and great value for money. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 6☆
Bob S — Google review
Saw this place on Rate my takeaways channel on YouTube, who gave Nice Baps a pretty good review and so decided to visit myself. Was not disappointed. The menu is quite varied for a small roadside burger shack. Staff friendly when ordering. Prices seemed very reasonable. Decided to have the Atlantic burger, which took around 10 mins to arrive. Waited at the outside seating. When the burger arrived, it looked brilliant. Two thick perfectly cooked, juicy yet charred patties, which were side by side, not stacked, 2 slices of thick cut perfectly cooked bacon, loads of cheddar cheese, and the obligatory salad, all in a bap with ketchup and mayo. This burger was excellent. So tasty. We will definitely be returning to give their local produce cooked breakfast a go next time. Also, the hot dog looks amazing, so that's on the list too. They really do have Nice Baps!

We came across this delightful little find and i must say what a real nice take away sandwich bar it is. The owner was extremely hospitable, his knowledge was second to none in places to visit, and as for the Nice Baps, well worth every penny, myself and my husband had the Atlantic Bap with a twist and my daughter had the foot long sausage bap. Everything was cooked fresh and as you waited the owner spoke to you giving you advice on where to go on a day trip. I would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you Nice Baps ☺️

The tearoom takes pride in offering over 50 types of teas and infusions, including locally grown Tregothnan tea and specially roasted coffee from Mevagissey Coffee.
Wonderful experience, genuinely lovely staff and the best scone I’ve ever had. Everything was locally sourced and in such a beautiful, peaceful setting. I highly recommend the apricot jam and am grateful for the life lesson of the right way to put the jam and cream… I feel wiser!! Thank you <3

It was just so lovely in here! The best decaffeinated tea I have ever had. Delicious scones and the service was great. The man who served us really knows his stuff about tea and scones. Everything I had including the tea was locally sourced. Bring your dog…..dogs are very well looked after here! We will be back next year :)

We were told this tearoom provided the best cream teas in Cornwall, and it absolutely didn't disappoint. We had a wonderful cream tea here, and I can honestly say it was one of the best I've ever had. The tearoom also serves other food that looked incredible as well. But after our cream tea, we couldn't eat anything else. As an added bonus, it's located in the beautiful historic fishing town of Mevagissey. It's well worth coming for the cream tea and staying for the sun, harbour and sea food. This is a must visit if you're looking for a great authentic Cornish tea room experience. They also warmly welcome dogs.

Such a delicious find! Can't believe they do vegan and gluten free scones too. Their attention to detail was amazing, so many jam and tea choices. Staff were so lovely and friendly. Very dog friendly too. Thank you so much!

Amazing place! Somebody recommended it to us and it was well worth the trip to go. Me and my husband both had a cream tea which included a scone, jam and clotted cream we skipped a cup of tea and had cold drinks instead as it was very warm. They offer a very good verity of jams to go with your scone. Our fruit scones were delicious and you get a really good helping of jam and clotted cream to go with a very large scone. The price is so reasonable as well £5 for the scone, jam and clotted cream extremely good value. Highly recommend and very dog friendly the guy who seated us brought our dogs a lovely cold water for them in a bowl and a biscuit each. Not many tables so you might have to wait but well worth it.

FANTASTIC gluten free cream teas! We visited here in August 2024 and had the most delicious gluten free cream tea ever. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful for deciding what to pick since there were so many safe options to choose from! The food was presented beautifully and had a helpful gluten- free stick in the top of the scone! Best gluten free cream tea I’ve ever had (even if they did call me out for putting the jam on in the ‘wrong’ order haha). The cream was dairy free too so totally safe and the scone didn’t fall apart - WOW! Only downside is that I couldn’t see any customer toilets available - but that’s not to say they didn’t have one tucked around the back! (As someone with IBS I always check to see what is provided so that I can share it with others, as know how important it is for people needing to have access to them so probably best to ring up and check if you want to know for certain). Definitely recommend visiting and can’t wait to come back!

Roskillys offers a delightful dining experience in a converted milking parlour, serving comforting and homely fare at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is laid-back, with ample bench seating in the large courtyard and a dedicated kids menu, making it perfect for families. Visitors can enjoy stone-baked pizzas, pulled pork fries, and fantastic pork tenderloins. The farm surroundings may need maintenance but are not the main attraction. Additionally, the homemade ice cream and fudge are must-tries.
We camped on the farm, had two meals, several ice creams, and watched some live music. This is such a superb place! The campsite is perfect. The breakfasts are phenomenal. The evening food is genuinely brilliant. The atmosphere is lovely, and the service couldn’t better - everyone is so friendly, helpful, and takes pride in the amazing business.

I honestly can’t recommend Roskilly’s enough – what an amazing spot! The food was absolutely top notch, a solid 10/10. We went as a family and everyone left raving about it. The burgers especially were a huge hit – easily some of the best we’ve ever had. To finish we had their homemade ice cream – you can really taste the quality, so creamy and full of flavour. The whole place has such a lovely vibe. We had a wander round afterwards and the views around the farm are stunning, which just made the visit even better. Service was excellent, atmosphere chilled and welcoming, and it’s also really family-friendly with a kids’ menu that even includes dessert. Plenty of parking too, which makes it super easy. Such a gem of a place – we’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and family, and I’m sure we’ll be back again soon!

I don’t even have words to describe how amazing this place is! The food is sensational 10/10. I came with my family/partner and most of them got burgers and said it was the best burger they’ve ever had. I got a Rita Rudh cocktail which was fantastic! To finish we had some of their ice cream which you could tell was such good quality! We also had a walk around the area which had such beautiful views. Such a lovely place, would highly recommend, and will be raving about it to friends and family who visit the area!

We came across Roskilly's while researching the area and were able to book a table for dinner. Wanted to book for Sunday lunch but need to book further in advance as we called on the day! We really enjoyed walking around the farm and then had a lovely family dinner. We ordered the vegetarian burger (it's not a veggie patty as we were told but flat mushroom, courgette etc. Still very tasty though) , shawarma and cheeseburger. And then ice cream for dessert! Food was very good, customer service also good. Definitely want to try the Sunday roast next time we visit the area!

Just an amazing visit from start to finish! Proper rural farm with amazing animals! The bar/cafe area is absolutely beautiful and the food 1st class, such a lovely atmosphere for families! The meadows with delicious ponds full of fish and the jersy cow herd so friendly! Will definitely return whilst still in Cornwall 🙌 xx

It is a lovely place to go and get some ice cream, Roskilly’s is the ice cream available around the area and this is where it’s from. The atmosphere is very nice, the outside eating area is both covered and open and has a Mediterranean feel to it. After ice creams we went for a walk around the lake/pond to see the cows then they fed the goats and saw the pigs and chickens. A lovely little pit stop with decent toilets and the restaurant looks nice with a reasonably priced menu.

Roskilly's is well signposted from main road going towards Coverack. Plenty of parking . Restaurant has good menu . The food was excellent . Selected Mackerel and chicken skewer with flatbread. Service friendly. Place has very good selection of ice creams and sundaes. A pleasant experience and would go back again

What a great place! Known for their ice cream (it’s delicious), but the burger was honestly the best I’ve ever had. It was especially good with their garlic ketchup (we bought a few jars to take home). It was nice sunny day when we visited, the ambiance in the courtyard seating area is perfect, with lots of little birds darting around. Service was excellent, the meal was relaxing and delicious. We went for a stroll around the animal area afterwards as well as popping to the shops. Well worth a visit, we’ll be there again next time we’re in Cornwall. Thanks to the Tom and the team.

Callestick Ice Cream Parlour is a family-owned working farm that has a tearoom and shop where they sell locally-sourced goods, including ice cream made from their own milk. The ice cream is exceptional and comes in various flavors, including exotic sorbets like passion fruit and mango. They have ample space for parking cars and even have a playground for kids.
Nice little cafe to have some delicious cornish ice cream. The panins are really nice as well. Everything is good value, and the warm cookie dough and ice cream was delicious. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Cornwall.

We always visit Callestick Ice Cream Farm when visiting the nearby Healeys Cyder Farm. Lovely locally produced Ice Creams, Sorbet and dessert treats, very fairly priced and of great quality.

Excellent ice cream, a great selection of flavours. They supply local spots near Truro. Their own parlour is worth a visit, and has both indoor and outdoor seating plus a kids play area on their premises. Brilliant service, would happily take a detour for it.
Jai S — Google review
Amazing ice cream, love the hot waffle and warm cookie dough! Plenty of ice cream choice (16), they do offer vegan/dairy free however there were only 2 options of ice cream and 2 sorbet. Very reasonably priced. Atmosphere wise it would be nicer if they put some music/background noise on as it's very quite and echoes so feels a little like a library.

Visit yearly and never disappointed with the friendly service and more importantly the delicious ice cream! I have had to queue at times but well worth the wait. Extremely reasonably priced, I had a gold bar milkshake and it was top draw. The kids play area and picnic area is clean and tidy, with no charge for parking. 10/10

A good selection of delicious ice-creams,. I particularly like the lemon which has an element of tartness. The young chap serving was handling cash and change from customers in the queue then handling cones bare handed, without washing hands or using a napkin to pick up the cones. Who knows what bacteria was being picked up off the cash & the cross contamination being transferred. The ice-cream was delicious, I had to throw the waffle cone away, shame as it's a bit of a put off & you pay a little extra for it served this way as well. The peace was also broken in the yard entrance by a farm employee who sat on a 4x4 buggy & left the engine running whilst he sat on the phone for 10 minutes, completely oblivious of nearby customers trying to enjoy the peace. So not quite the idyllic farm visit that I'd planned when I decided to have a ride out from Falmouth with Callestick as my goal!

Wonderful experience. Very pleasant staff. Catered very well for my husband who is gluten free, even going to the trouble of opening a fresh tub of ice cream for him. Delicious ice cream, wonderful hot chocolate, polite, friendly staff. You couldn’t ask for more. Definitely worth a visit.

Incredible ice cream! Exciting flavour options. I have apricot and brandy which was beautiful.

Had a delicious icecream from here. There was so many flavours to chose from and the portion sizes were amazing. Service was great and the lady was very friendly. The prices were good for the area.

The whole place is a waste of time. The floors are dirty they made my dog sit in the rain while we sat in a dirty, messy, smelly hut sort of thing. They was not clean whatsoever. Sticky seats and tables. Floors were filthy. Bad service, carrot cake was dry, milkshakes were alright. Overall do not come here! There is way better places around. They aren’t that friendly.

Absolutely lovely ice cream with truly authentic flavours. You can taste the quality in every bite, and it’s well worth the premium price for such a premium product. The staff are just as delightful as the ice cream—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. A wonderful treat all around!

Great selection of hot chocolate selections to choose from along with other hot and cold drinks. We didn’t try food options but but there is a selection of pies, pasties, cakes and cream tea to try if hungry. I liked the hot chocolate but have had nicer ones.

Just stopped here to grab a coffee after a couple of hours sightseeing before continuing on up country and we were served by a polite and friendly team. They were happy to whip up an iced coffee with oat milk (great that they had it but more so that they could make a drink not on the menu) and did so with a smile. The only negative is that it did seem to take a little while to produce the two drinks but it’s not Starbucks (thank goodness) so it’s not the end of the world.

Bakery
St Agnes Bakery is a popular spot located in the coastal village of St Agnes, North Cornwall. Despite its remote location, it has gained popularity and positive reviews from visitors. The bakery offers a variety of delicious baked goods including pasties, sausage rolls, and sweet treats. Customers have praised the quality and taste of their gluten-free options as well as their savory pasties filled with meat, vegetables, and cheese.
After becoming somewhat of a pasty aficionado I can confidently say that the pasties from St. Agnes go far above & beyond the normal demands of a pasty! They are huge, packed with ingredients, and spiced just right! Nice & peppery! After a couple pasty let downs here in Cornwall we were suggested to try these from a small shop where we stayed in Crantock village and this was probably the best pasty I’ve ever eaten! My wife and I both decided to pop down for another in an hour haha Thanks 🙏 you guys are carrying on the tradition in full British fashion and you should be very proud of yourselves!

Just had traditional and cheese & onion pasties from this lovely place, they were amazing! Followed by salted caramel brownie, millionaire shortbread and bakewell slice - all equally fabulous! Thank you to the lovely lady who served me for being so kind and for giving us less death-defying directions back to Crantock - you really did save my sanity today 😊

Oh my god, I would come here for the rest of my life. Most friendly people in their lovely location, the food is some of the best I’ve ever tasted in my 9 years of experience in the food industry. Pasty 10/10, Big fat sausage roll 11/10, Moist, gooey, flapjack was 1000000000000/10, big up the bakery, must come here! Will be returning. Form Australia! But parking is hard, food makes up for it!

Drove here on recommendation from a friend. Well worth the visit. Purchased a steak and ale pasty and a rosemary and chilli sausage roll. Both were delicious and absolutely loaded with meat, I couldn’t finish the sausage roll because of how big it was! Staff were polite and friendly. The bakery was clean and nice to be in. Would recommend!

An excellent town bakery, I’d say it’s even better than a couple of our bakeries back home in France. Bread is delicious, their viennoiseries are very good, and so are the sausage rolls and pasties, which you can smell from down the road. And their raspberry jam is just excellent, we bought a jar for morning toast. Highly recommend.

The best cream tea i’ve eaten and we’ve tried a lot! The scones were freshly baked and absolutely delicious. They come in a takeaway box with your jam and cream, then it’s a 2 minute walk round to a beautiful harbour. The lady serving was absolutely lovely and recommended the harbour for a meal with a view. The ice cream shop Jus' Desserts is located by the Balcony Bar by the Amusement Arcarde on the harbour in St Ives. It sells a large array of lovely flavors, but should expect to pay for it. The staff were slow to serve customers, and took a long time once an order was placed.
Largest one scoop of ice cream I’ve ever had. Cost £3.95. Unfortunately, a seagull landed on my head trying to steal it.
Megan — Google review
I paid nearly £4 some lovely Oreo ice cream but what I got instead was vanilla ice cream with a restraining order against Oreos. Blink and you’d miss the 2.5 crumbs they sprinkled in like they were seasoning a Michelin star dish. I’ve seen more Oreo at the bottom of a milkshake straw. It’s called Oreo ice cream, not “vanilla ice cream that once walked past an Oreo on the street.” Wouldn’t have been surprised if the server had leaned in and whispered, “You have to manifest the Oreos yourself.” Save your £4 and go buy an actual pack of Oreos and some budget ice cream – you’ll get more satisfaction and emotional closure.
Mannie W — Google review
£3.95 for a scoop seemed a lot initially, but after seeing how much the lady put for the portion and they don't charge extra for a waffle cone, the price felt fair and reasonable. I was eating pistachio flavour and liked the taste of it. The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that seagulls attacked me whilst eating the ice cream, hence I couldn't finish and enjoy the ice cream fully D:

I had the kinder bueno ice cream. Tasted amazing and was a lovely end to a day out! Although a seagull did attack me and I lost half, the scoops were big enough it still felt like I had a good amount left after! Would recommend 🍦

Ice cream was delicious, the service was frosty! Young lady serving shoved the card reader toward me without speaking. Put a smile on your face and speak to your customers.
Sally C — Google review
Unfortunately the worst ice cream Ive ever had in my life. I went for the 3 dairy free/plant based ice cream option and it tasted it like it had been in that tub unopened for years. Yes it tasted like water gone bad if that makes sense. I had to throw all 3 flavourless scoops in the bin and make amends with the £7 I just lost! Never again!

Kook is a popular and kid-friendly cafe located in the heart of Newquay. It offers a variety of treats including speciality chocolate bar milkshakes, smoothies, frozen yogurt, Cornish ice cream, and healthy pressed juices. The cafe has received praise for its fantastic milkshakes, personal service, and welcoming atmosphere.
My boyfriend and I visted after getting tattooed, the staff were so kind to us, especially as I was a little spaced out after my tattoos, the selection is insane and they offer almost every sweet in a milkshake under the sun! The milkshakes are delightfully thick and the smoothies are such a divine texture, I wish we'd gone sooner :D

Love Kook. Had milkshakes from there every single day of our holiday! Miss it! See ya next year 🥤🍦🌤🥲
Natz N — Google review
I’ve had great experiences here before, I think that their milkshakes are normally fantastic, however I wanted to leave a review for my most recent visit since I am quite disappointed. On the 6/7/25 I ordered a king size Oreo milkshake and a king sized passion delight, and noticed 3 people working. The person on the till told one of them to make the orders king sized. But to our dismay when we received our drinks, they were not king sized. So I flagged this to one of the women working, and she said ‘oh haha we were just testing you!’ Like what??? Then they took our drinks and just poured them back into the blenders instead of making fresh drinks, and just added more milk, which completely ruined the taste of our drinks, since the quantities in the recipe were ignored. I spent about £18 on those two drinks, expecting the usual delicious flavour that my boyfriend and I love. But instead of this, we were completely disappointed by somewhat cruel customer service and watery, bland drinks.

This place rocks, love Gelato no matter what time of day but this joint has a great selection of flavours including vegan and dairy free in their range. Beautifully decorated shop and everything looks edible. Get down to Truro and this summer and stuff your face with Gelato. 😂 🥰🤤.

Finally I had the opportunity of trying gelato here after all these months. Every time I used to feel like one, I used to realise that Angelato would be closed. After Sunday Roast yesterday, finally, I found it open. I went for the Lemon one as I expected it to be less sweet. And gosh it was delicious!! Absolutely lip smacking, sour, and fresh. After a heavy meal, a gelato is the perfect dessert. The service was prompt and friendly. Lovely place and looking forward to trying more flavours.
Ananya B — Google review
Best Gelato I've had in Cornwall, hands down. Also a complimentary chocolate fountain - pouring Belgian milk chocolate. Thick, not very icy and full flavoured. The lemon flavours (Lemoncillo and vanilla with lemon) are both very well balanced (not too sour). I'd particularly recommend the tiramisu or vegan dark chocolate which is astonishingly good, even when compared to the dairy versions.
Peter K — Google review
The gelato here is great in a hot day, cold day, rainy day or any day! You've got to try the milkshakes and the macaroons too! We make regular trips for our fill of ice cream!
Harrison P — Google review
I tried Angelato's ice cream for the first time yesterday, and it was a true delight! The ice cream is a little more dense than usual British ice cream. This gives it a very satisfying, rich and creamy feel as you eat it. They have a large selection of flavours and I went for three choices - the sour cherry, the pistachio, and one that I can't remember the name of but which was a creamy lemon flavour. All three were completely delicious, but the sour cherry was outstandingly good. The pistachio was also wonderful - not too sweet and with a definite taste of the pistachio nuts. We are lucky to have a lot of very good ice cream in Cornwall. Angelato's has gone straight to my number one spot. It has to be the best ice cream in Cornwall!

Cannot recommend this beautifully authentic homemade Italian Ice cream shop more. Not only is there an amazing variety of flavours, They also have many flavours in vegan and sorbet :) which is great for us as our dauggter is milk intolerant and to have a flavour choice for that is rare. My favourites are pistachio and coffee. Also the price is very reasonable given it's organic and homemade and tastes incredible. Better than Italy in my opinion. We will be back soon :)

The raspberry frozen yoghurt was absolutely delicious and the staff was very friendly. Fair prices. The only unusual thing was that the “Captain” rum and raisin had a chocolate ice cream base instead of vanilla, which was different to normal rum and raisin, but not necessarily bad. But all the flavours we tried were lovely.

Harbour Delights is a dessert shop that offers an impressive milkshake selection. Their milkshakes are customizable, allowing customers to choose their own ingredients according to their preferences. This flexibility is particularly appealing for those who may not find anything suitable from the pre-set menu options. Additionally, Harbour Delights serves mouthwatering crepes, such as the lemon and sugar variety.
Amazing milkshake from here, love the choose your own options for everything as a lot of the time I might not want something from the listed items in that order. Ordered myself the lemon and sugar crepe, so much lemon put on it. Might be the first time ever I've ordered one that had too much lemon on it.
Blue B — Google review
Good Ice Cream, But Skimpy on Portions The ambiance at harbour delights was inviting, and the variety of flavors did not disappoint. However, the portion sizes left something to be desired. It might just be the smallest scoop I've ever had in the UK. The quality of the ice cream was good, but when you're paying a premium, you'd expect a more generous serving. The staff was polite but didn't make up for the stingy scoops. If you're not super hungry and just want to sample some decent flavors, this place is okay. But if you're looking for value for your money, you might want to look elsewhere.
Ethem D — Google review
Had the rhubarb & custard and bubblegum ice cream. More expensive than some other ice cream places in town, but the scoops were massive! So I was happy :) had to remind the scoop boy that we needed to pay, I think he would’ve let us walk away otherwise lol
Matilda C — Google review
Very dissapointing service. Within 2 seconds of ordering, the lady behind the till passed us my 4 year old's ice cream which dropped out of the cone straight on the floor. With no ice cream evident in the cone you could see, it had not been pressed in at all. I politely asked for a replacement scoop and was told to pay for one if I want one. I explained that it was just a small scoop that could have easily been replaced and I'm sure insurance covers those small amounts and I don't want to leave my 4 year old upset on the first day of her holiday. She refused, so I asked for the manager. The next lady came and said I don't have the authority to replace scoops and the manager would say the same thing. I then paid again and said that I didn't want the rest of the ice creams that I was yet to be handed. Unfortunately, they have lost my custom for the rest of my summers in St.Ives. Poor service, understanding and friendliness.
Jess O — Google review
Well.. to say the place is run by children is an understatement. We were asked 3 times what our order was, by the time the second waffle was given to us the other had melted. Should have seen it coming as the customer before us said how poor the customer service was. Considering there was a group of girls in the back playing with the whipped cream, it probably explains why the food took so long. It’s a shame as the food is nice (even though only one of our orders had the right ingredients!)

Had a Nutella and marshmallow crepe. The crepe was tough and chewy, tasted like it had been reheated, not made fresh, and the marshmallows weren't great either, thankfully the Nutella was good so that slightly redeemed it 😔 Husband enjoyed the ice cream though, very generous portions

Lovely menu options, polite staff and generous portions🍦 Would 100% recommend asking about staff favourites as although some of their favourites are not on the menu the staff are always happy to accommodate and willing to share their ideas with customers! Biscoff and honeycomb milkshake was out of this world!!

The St Ives coffee and ice cream shop offers a great range of flavours, including two dairy-free options. Thefriendly service is top notch.
I ordered a delicious Nutella and Strawberry crepe from here, and it tasted amazing! They make it right in front of you, which I loved. Service was also amazing, staff were friendly.

We visited this establishment while on holiday last week and let's just say it was brief! Customer service, who is she?! After waiting for a couple of minutes my partner and I were beckoned over to have our order taken, only for the very same person who called us over snap "I'm making crepe!" At us. It is safe to say we swiftly left to spend our money elsewhere. Awful experience, wouldn't waste your time visiting.

Aptly named as it’s the best ice-cream in St Ives. It’s lovely to sit by the wharf and enjoy your favourite flavours!

Valenti's Ice Cream Workshop in St Ives offers a delightful selection of ice cream flavors, with generous samples available for tasting. The vibrant blue bubblegum and refreshing violet flavors are highly recommended, containing delicious surprises like marshmallow pieces. The staff is friendly and accommodating, allowing customers to choose toppings and sprinkles for their ice cream. Despite the seemingly expensive single scoop, the size and taste make it worth every penny.
Really pleasant server. The midnight cookie ice cream was delicious. Huge one scoop in waffle cone. Reasonable price. 10/10
MR C — Google review
Delicious ice cream (and plenty of options). I tried the Vanilla & Salted Fudge (which had small pieces of salted fudge in it), and a chocolate brownie/biscuit one (that had pieces of brownie/biscuit in it). Both ice creams where very tasty, and each scoop was more more 1 and a half-2 scoops compared to some of the other ice cream shops, which made it great value for money. Definitely depends on the server though as we went back later for someone else in our party, and their serving wasn't as generous. Still great value for money as the ice cream itself is good quality and full of flavour.
Matt H — Google review
Delicious Icecream, lots of flavours. Pricey but same as everywhere else in at Ives. You get quality here though.
Tim H — Google review
Really disappointed with the service here more than anything. I went in with my child at the end of the day when it was empty, there were two young women serving, one was fairly nice, the other was a young brunette who was really dismissive - gave the most obvious impression that this was the last place in the world she wanted to be, despite being paid to do so - service with a smile, haha not quite… after the other girl served my child first in a big green cup for two scoops I also ordered two scoops for myself with the brunette women, she proceeded to take a smaller red cup and serve me. I politely questioned why I had a smaller cup despite ordering two of the same sizes, to which she shrugged her shoulders and said it the right size for two scoops, that may be the case but they weren’t the same, definitely had more ice cream in the other cup (photo was taken after my child had already consumed a fair bit compared to mine!!). Feedback going forwards, don’t be so rude to paying customers. Ice cream was decent, my child loved his (although not tough with brightly coloured sweet things). Mine was okay, decent flavour but certainly not worth £7 each.

Nestled within the vibrant Fistral Beach Complex, Rick Stein Fistral is a delightful eatery that perfectly captures the essence of seaside dining. This relaxed restaurant specializes in Rick's renowned fish and chips, featuring an array of fresh catches like cod and haddock, complemented by his signature homemade sauces. But that's not all; the menu also showcases a tantalizing selection of dishes inspired by global flavors, including Goan chicken curry and pad Thai noodles.
We had a lovely welcome when we arrived. The service from everyone was fantastic, a helpful and friendly bunch. The food was delicious. There was no fault with the main meals or the desserts. Being Thursday, there was live music which was a really nice touch. Value for money too. Highly recommended.

A trip to Rip off Ricks……? First of all, Jason needs to be recognised! The guy needs a bonus or to be promoted or something! He is amazing! The best server I have had in a restaurant ever , we came three years ago and he was exactly the same, friendly , chatty and just great. Obviously, this is overpriced fish and chips due to it being Rick Stein, you know this before you go there. You are more than able to get better and cheaper fish and chips elsewhere , and that’s just a fact. However , if you want convenience, a nice location, variety of menu and great service then you should try this place once! The big man Rick was in the building pottering around so I think the staff were on extra special behaviour as we got served by two additional staff members who seemed …. Over enthusiastic to be serving us so I think this was steered by the big man himself being there. There was a dog that kept barking which was pretty irritating when there is outdoor seating and we were indoors , the restaurant states only well behaved dogs so bare this in mind. We waited 45 minutes for 3 fish and chips and another meal consisting of cheesy chips , onion rings and a side salad and two couples came in after us and got served before us so I’m not really sure what went on there , they did take the onion rings off the bill though. We did visit 3 years ago and experienced a long wait time for 3 fish and chips .. so I’m not sure why it takes so long but the staff are more than happy to rectify anything that goes wrong. All in all if you haven’t been here before then I recommend going during less busy times, asking for Jason to be your server , try to get the takeaway option and sit outside if it’s not too cold! It is worth visiting once :)
ThatJazzGirl — Google review
We ordered from the takeaway at Rick Stein’s Fish & Chips, planning to sit at the benches outside. The service was painfully slow. While waiting, we noticed other customers turning up after us and being served before us. We queried this with a staff member who offered no apology or explanation, just a quick “we’ll do it now.” Over 30 minutes after we’d placed our order, the weather had turned and rain had set in, so we asked to be seated indoors instead. When the food eventually arrived, the disappointment continued. The portion of fish was tiny and had a tough, rubbery texture rather than the light, flakey fish you’d expect from a place with such a reputation. The chips were hit and miss: some ok, many unpleasantly brown. The cheesy chips were barely warm, and the cheese hadn’t even melted, as you can see in the photo. Overall, it felt like a premium price for a very sub-standard meal and poor service throughout. Expected far better from the Rick Stein name.
Lisa C — Google review
We ordered the SHARE & COMPARE — a generous set of local fish and chips with sauces and mushy peas. The portion was absolutely huge and yummy — three hungry adults left completely full and happy! I loved the laid-back atmosphere and the friendly, helpful staff. Their smiles and attitude made the whole experience even better.

A Fantastic Experience at Rick Stein Fistral I had an absolutely wonderful time at Rick Stein’s restaurant in Fistral. The food was nothing short of incredible – fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight, especially the seafood, which was clearly prepared with great care and expertise. What made the experience even more special was the stunning view from the terrace. Overlooking the beach, it offers the perfect backdrop to enjoy a relaxed meal. Watching the waves roll in while dining made the whole experience feel extra memorable. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the area – amazing food, breathtaking views, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Well…after vowing never to visit a Rick Stein restaurant again after the disappointment of the Falmouth restaurant meal years ago. I assumed that would be a one off, and this Fistral Beach location would be an acceptable offering. How wrong could I of been. We were a table of 2, visiting on a Wednesday afternoon. The restaurant was pretty empty, but the servers were initially pretty attentive. The food however was way below par. After waiting 35 minutes my partner had just got up ready to walk out, but I waited it out a bit longer. It finally came, 40 minutes from ordering. (Just for a sharing platter) The chips were pale and dead, and the fish was still scaled and didn’t taste as fresh as it should (I’m no fish expert but I’m sure they are not meant to be so scaley and full of bones) the bill was £56 after paying £4.95 for table water, 2 ciders and a sharing platter. This was meant to be a day off treat and if it had been good enough, we would have probably returned. But this was dreadful. I did mention my issues at the time of paying the bill. (Again, no body came and took our payment at the end. so I had to go to the bar and pay) The girl at the bar apologised and told me to leave a review and see if management contact me. We weren’t the only irritated customers. I only imagine how many customers complained today.

Incredible service and very welcoming. Very good with toddlers! Great knowledge of the wine list and perfect drink recommendation based on my meal choice. Delicious, hot food at really sensible prices. Very friendly staff and a friendly atmosphere. Stunning views rain or shine (we experienced both during one meal!) We dined at midday on a Sunday.
Ashton S — Google review
Shocking!! Don't waste your time or your money on this over rated venue! We waited 45 minutes for a table. Drinks arrived warm. Requested Ice, to be then told the ice has finished. I requested a can from the takeaway fridge section, to be then told ice is available. They took our drink back, added ice and then served it to another table!! Our drinks then arrived 10 minutes later with ice! Food arrived 45minutes after we placed the order. Kids tomato pasta was literally a can of tomotoes poured onto wet pasta. Salt and pepper prawns...no salt or pepper and what an anticlimax after pulling it out the shell as it has zero taste! The pad thai was inconsistent with quantities and sticky! Fish was OK. The only thing that was nice was the chips.

Kelly's of Cornwall is a well-known Cornish ice cream brand with a rich history dating back to the late 1890s. Originally started by Joseph Staffieri, an Italian immigrant, the company rebranded to Kelly's in the 1930s and quickly gained popularity across the region. The ice cream is made using milk and clotted cream from cows raised on Cornwall's pastures, with all dairies located within 25 miles of their Bodmin headquarters.
fifteen years ago as a student I worked here as an icecreamman, the atmosphere at work was cool but most important the taste of ice cream stayed with me to this day, I still think it's the best ice cream I've ever eaten and I know how it was made.

I bought vanilla ice cream from tesco and it ŵas above average quality and 0a good price however getting into the container I had to use tyre levers to open the container so probably not a good idea for the old or infirm.
Gordon D — Google review
I really love your ice cream and look forward to one after my walk on Par Beach. I got back to the car to collect my money and went over to the van which still had it's windows open and waited only to be told a few minutes later I'm closed!! You normally have a lovely man serving on the beach who is always happy to sell you an ice cream. She obviously wasn't in that much of a hurry because the van is still sitting here a good 10 minutes later.
S G — Google review
used to love Kelly's Clotted ice cream, bought some this morning from Waitrose and what a disappointment, totally artificial taste , and what was left in the car after 2 hours never melted ! - it was still firm but not cold! I suppose its all the gum it contains and only has 10% cream - will not buy again - Lidl has a clotted cream 2lt tub for half the price and 20 times the quality
Mike B — Google review
Well I dont know what the fuss is about from those who are complaining, but I find Kelly's Ice-cream very tasty. Ive just tried their clotted cream variety and its delicious, not too sweet and definitely has a taste of clotted cream. Cant wait to try other flavours as I see them in our local supermarkets Kings Lynn , Norfolk .
Liz G — Google review
Not just a change in packaging, but a change in taste. I used to love Kelly's ice cream. Now it tastes like shaving foam. Please go back to the old packaging and old taste. If you do, I'll start buying it again.
Bob J — Google review
Taste and texture really gone down hill since they became a Froneri brand. Stuff in the vans and Parlours might be OK as they are separate, but the supermarket stuff is now awful, similar to overly synthetic ice-cream like Vienetta for texture.
Anthony I — Google review
Visited Kelly's last night, as we are here for the week in LOOE. And trying out different places to eat whilst here. After queuing outside for 10mins thinking this must be good, well how every much mistaken I was. There was a sign up saying you would not be served unless you had a mask on, but 3 out of the 5 people behind the counter didn't have masks, one of which was the person serving. My order was 2 cheeseburgers with chips and fish and chips. When getting back to have dinner, what a disappointment. The burgers where a plain as could be with no salad or relishes. Chips very soggy, and fish batter soft. How this palace has gained 4.2 star rating I will never know. I'm no chef but I've cooked much better at home.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!!! Not worth the money. Before I came here I had heard some good things. However I will never be returning, it is overpriced, understaffed and disgusting to eat. £7.50 for a dry waffle with a couple strawberry’s which I may add are definitely not fresh!!. It’s a real let down considering it is based in such a beautiful and lovely place. All other food vans are delectable! The food is Beautiful down there! But this is one to miss! This place has so much potential if it wasn’t so expensive for what you are gives. I’d pay no more than £5 for what I was given! The waffle seemed as though it was made without any care in the world, slapped and thrown together.

It looked great by pictures and the idea, but we ordered and it hadn’t even been warmed up was stone cold… luckily we took it home and microwaved it but it wasn’t the same/as good as we had hoped for :( disappointing regarding it cost £8.50 for one waffle with some chocolate buttons and a bueno on. The tomato soup with the cheese scone was so delicious; the soup was herby with a bit of spice, not too salty and the cheese scone was warm, the butter softened. Thoughtful service. That bowl really did the trick on a cold February day. I had ice cream, of course. The flavours I chose did not disappoint (2 scoops, one Belgian choc, one vanilla). I didn't have space for the popular 'Shipwreck' at the time. I did, however, go back the next day to get a scoop, and yes, delicious 😋 I also tried the seasonal apple cider sorbet. I think if I had a whole scoop in the summer as opposed to a taster in February, I would have to enjoy it as a sorbet float 🍹✨️

My personal favourite ice cream (alongside Roskilly's) but they do a very nice lunch too. We had emmental, pastrami and gherkin toasties. Highly recommended. And the Moo-berry flavour ice cream seemed to give me a remarkable energy boost that lasted the rest of the day! Apparently it is made with about half a dozen different berries. Have they discovered some new secret formula?! 😁

Tried the chocolate and the raspberry ripple. The chocolate was decent, but nothing that stood out. Unfortunately, the raspberry ripple was a bit of a letdown — I was expecting a stronger, fruitier flavor. Overall, it was okay, but I was hoping for something a little more special.

In my research for delicacies in Cornwall, this place popped up often and I was quite keen to know what a moomaid is! Finding it was not difficult as it's at the corner of a busy road. They have high chairs along the glass windows and a few tables inside for groups. They sell merchandise as well along with food and are pet friendly. We visited this place almost all of the days during our stay for their avocado on toast, brie and pesto toastie and coffee. We did try a few flavours of their ice cream and found pistachio to be the best. The sourdough bread they use is pretty good and the ingredients they use for their food is fresh and good quality as is evident in the taste. Watching cars and vans make the right turn around it's corner always fascinated me while sipping on coffee and enjoying a slice of their cake. I have tried a few varieties of the cake they serve in my visits and do notice that the cut slices are always a bit dry (orange and almond cake, coffee and walnut) but the ones cut fresh from a loaf were moist and delicious (lemon drizzle). They might have to find a way to keep the cake slices from going dry being in contact with air throughout the day. The avocado toast and brie pesto toastie are heavenly and we will be going back for it whenever we are in St Ives. Their scone with cream and jam was good as well. The staff, though friendly and prompt in their service, do look a bit fatigued and detached as the day progresses probably due to being on their feet all day serving customers and managing the cafe.

Very popular tea room. Afternoon tea was really nice, sandwiches had great fillings which you could choose from cakes were very nice topped with a scone. The other dish’s are reasonable size cakes and sausage rolls are great also.

So I was on a holiday and I wanted to be all Cornish like. So I popped on over here because I read the words "tea room" as I was walking around looking for a good Cornish pasty. I'm not one for pies, but I had to have one being in Cornwall. The service was very good, they have a wonderful seating area upstairs and can you believe they have afternoon tea for 1 for £15,with a big sandwich, cakes, scone with cream and jam and tea or coffee. I saw it was large because I looked at other peoples being served. I asked the waiter if all that is for 1,ams he said yes. I was amazed! He said people do share it. Being a solo person, I stuck to trying my Cornish pasty. It was good! As mentioned before, not a pie fan, but I did finish this!

Stopped off for lunch while in Newquay - food overall was really tasty with generous portions - scones were particularly nice! Young lads doing all their serving were absolutely rushed off their feet, couldn’t fault them at all! Very polite. We saw someone in the kitchen making scones singing their heart out, made me and my daughter smile. Would visit again, lovely little place!

Lovely little tearoom! The staff were all really lovely 8/05 and the cream tea was delicious! The Scones were very soft and the jam was amazing and smooth. Reasonably priced as well I might add.

Really liked the interior which had quite a charming, old-school vibe. Service was very nice. Unfortunately the cream tea was quite disappointing. The scones were like cheap poundshop quality, very cakey, and the jam also tasted like cheapest jar at the supermarket. Didn't try other cakes but there was a good selection to choose from.

I absolutely love their turnovers. They are not overly sweet and have a soft and fluffy texture that leaves a lasting impression. I also adore their scones, which are soft and delicious. Paired with clotted cream and jam, it's a perfect combination, creating a perfect afternoon tea experience. It has completely changed my perspective on afternoon tea, I never knew it could be this delicious.

Stopped here for a Cream Tea pack, which serves 4. 4 scones, Rhodda’s cream and homemade jam. The scones are so soft and fresh with a lovely sweet jam. So many different fresh cakes to choose from which all looked delicious. The cream tea packs were so nice and such good value for money, I went back to buy more. Would highly recommend, such good value for money and great customer service.

S. Jelbert's is a beloved ice cream destination that has been a family tradition for generations. The wait from winter to their opening is eagerly anticipated, and visitors always opt for tubs with separate clotted cream to customize their treat. While they only offer vanilla, the quality makes it worthwhile. Previously, the cash-only policy was inconvenient, but now they have a card machine for added convenience. This iconic spot is described as an institution and remains a must-visit in Cornwall.

They sell merchandise too and surprisingly people buy them. The staff is friendly and the portion size is good too.

Jessie's Dairy is a charming family-owned shop located in the heart of Mousehole village, just a short walk from the harbor. The cozy spot offers a variety of delicious takeaway options including Cornish pasties (including vegetarian), sausage rolls, homemade homity pies (gluten-free), coffee, milkshakes, and Cornish cream tea. Visitors can also grab graze boxes for beach picnics or indulge in delectable baked goods and sweet treats.
Popped in today having been exploring lovely Mousehole. Smoothest coffee I’ve had on the whole Cornish trip and the chocolate ice cream was a decadent delight. Such a cute store too.

Stopped by Jessie’s Diary in Mousehole and had such a lovely experience. My partner had an iced latte which was smooth, refreshing, and really well made. I went for the white chocolate and raspberry ripple ice cream – absolutely delicious, creamy with just the right balance of sweetness and fruitiness. A perfect little treat by the sea. Friendly spot with great takeaway options – definitely worth a visit if you’re in Mousehole!

A cute little shop located in the heart of the village- fresh cornish pasties, Roskilly’s ice-cream and vegan options too! Staff were lovely and very friendly, even though they had just opened the shop for the day. The vegan Salted Caramel Chocolate ice-cream was the best I have ever tasted and the vegan pasty was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be returning!

Lactose and gluten free options 😀 The dairy free ice cream is also soy free which was a bonus. Gluten free cones were available too. The ice - both dairy and non-dairy, was very reasonably priced for Cornwall. We'll certainly be adding this to our list of places to visit each year.

Really good strawberry milkshake, and the milk tasted fab. It is located very close to the harbour. Would love to visit this place again on my next trip

Just stopped here for a couple of lattes to takeaway which were very nice, but you can also get ice creams, shakes, pasty’s. All looked very good.

We shared a cream tea which was lovely! The only downside was that the staff seemed a bit unsure as to what they were doing. It was near closing time so whether they had had a busy day? Either way, the food was good 😊

Excellent vegan pasty, seems like they sell out fast and only have a few at a time, so we probably got lucky, probably one of the best pasties we had along the Cornish coast

She Sells Mevagissey is a beloved cafe and creperie located right on the harbor, known for its delicious crepes and galettes. It's a popular spot to start your day with a scrumptious Mevagissey breakfast crepe while enjoying the view of boats on the water. Additionally, it serves quality ice cream and offers ample indoor seating compared to other places in Mevagissey.
BEST OAT CAPPUCCINO and gorgeous tea cakes, the jam was BANGING too lol Amazing staff and lovely atmosphere, so glad i picked this one to go into. I absolutely love the cups they give you too!!! Ten out of ten , highly recommend!!

Food tastes as nice as I remember it a year or two ago, but less of it. No white chocolate sauce on the biscoff crepes anymore. Not sure it's worth £8. Affogato wasn't really how I'd expect but still tasted nice; again, wasn't worth £4 in my opinion. Cakes and drinks were enjoyable. Great service, great place, great view - just slightly not as good as it was/overpriced.

The coffee is one of the best in the area and the crapes are a great treat. Being on the harbour means you have great views, with indoor and outdoor spaces.

Went in thinking it would be standard fare but its great! The scallop wrap was delicious and I certainly neednt have ordered the tasty fries too. Coffe is good and the place is chillin. Nutella crepe was apparently tasty too. Throughly recommended.

Stopped by for a quick drink at the end of a short visit to Mevagissey. It's a busy little café and creperie right on the harbourfront. The outside tables are a great place to relax and watch the boats and the activity along the quays. The café is bright and nicely decorated inside, with rustic wooden tables and cushions on the seats for extra comfort. Additional seating upstairs. Dogs are welcome. Some delicious-looking cakes on the counter, and a wide selection of baked treats on the menu, some of them decidedly French: crepes, galettes, brioches with unusual and tempting fillings! They also do traditional Cornish cream teas. Lots of choice for vegetarians and vegans. I only had time for a drink, but was spoilt for choice with the variety of speciality coffees, hot chocolate and milkshakes on offer! Decided on the strawberry milkshake with whipped cream. It was really good and so refreshing after a lot of walking! Staff were both polite and helpful. Relaxed friendly atmosphere. Would love to come back here and try some of the food if I return to Mevagissey.

Hmm... Beautiful location for a relaxed drink or lunch. We went on a sunny October midweek morning for a coffee. The service was very slow despite not many customers and plenty of staff. The coffee was not great, I think a bit burnt. Served in daft plastic cups you might give to a toddler and that have seen better days, fraying around the rim. Food looked quite good at least, but also served on tacky plastic plates that would seem more at home at a children's picnic. Not terrible, but I definitely won't bother to go back!
Jk L — Google review
Only had 2 flat white coffees but, I have to say, these were the best we've had in Cornwall, we'll done. It's really not that difficult to make good coffee but so many places don't put in the effort to learn! or, can't be bothered.

Not welcoming staff We were walking around when it suddenly started raining, so we stepped into this beautiful place to wait it out. All the tables were full, and while we were standing for just a few minutes, the girl behind the counter told us, “If you're not going to get anything, you must leave.” This was really upsetting. She didn’t mention that there was seating upstairs or offer any alternative. After that, I had no interest in spending a penny here. Such a shame—they could have turned this into a warm and welcoming experience by simply offering us a seat and a cup of tea on a rainy day. P.S. We weren’t the only ones—there were at least four others just trying to shelter from the rain.

The Thirstea Co – A Coastal Treasure Near Towan Beach 🏖️☕🍰🥐 Just a two-minute wander from the breathtaking Towan Beach lies one of Cornwall’s best-kept secrets: The Thirstea Co. Whether you’re emerging from a bracing cold-water swim or simply soaking up the Roseland’s coastal charm, this café is the perfect place to refuel and revel. Towan Beach itself is a dream—wild, invigorating, and ideal for those who crave the thrill of a chilly dip. But it’s what awaits just up the path that truly completes the experience. The Thirstea Co serves up grand coffee that warms you to the core, cakes that deserve their own fan club, and pasties so good they might just ruin you for all others. The vibe is relaxed, the staff are lovely, and the setting—perched above the beach with sea air in your lungs—is unbeatable. Whether you’re a local, a rambler, or a saltwater addict, this spot is a must. It’s not just a café—it’s part of the coastal ritual.

Excellent Gluten-free bun with beautifully cooked bacon and runny fried egg. Great coffee too. The staff were all very friendly and if I were local I'd be heading there often! Well done to the team for getting everything bang on. (Also appreciated one toilet being left accessible after hours the previous evening when we'd visited the beach)10/10

A wander up and down the coast path then into Thirstea for a spot of lunch, well, a cream tea (with coffee), managed to get the 100th order of the day and was invited to do some interpretive dance to celebrate. Sadly, not having consumed nearly enough Scrumpy, I had to decline 🤣. We had 2 absolutely superb cream teas, light and tasty scone with really fruity strawberry jam and topped with wonderful clotted cream. The coffee was also very good! Wish we lived closer to sample these every day! Solid recommendation if you're down that way. Also NT member park free all day at the car park (follow the instructions on the ticket machine)

Lovely location near Towan beach, National Trust parking. Bit disappointed that the cream scones and tea served in takeaway cups and plates. This was lunchtime and all food was served this way even though we sat inside. Maybe there was a problem with the dishwasher. Good scones and tasty jam.

I don't eat ice cream but when on holiday in Cornwall it's a must! The mint choc chip was delicious, and my partner enjoyed the cornish golden fudge. Even our daughter who won't eat ice cream gave them both a lick! ☺️

Pavillion Ice is a newly opened restaurant in Cornwall, UK, offering stunning views of Perranporth beach. The restaurant provides indoor and outdoor dining with a unique lunch menu and a 3-course evening menu. Their ice cream is highly praised for its delicious flavors and generous portions, served in waffle cones or tubs with the option for extra toppings. Visitors appreciate the wheelchair accessibility and wide variety of flavors available, including the recommended bubblegum flavor.
This place is AMAZING! Not only is the ice cream absolutely beautifully made, but the flavours are to die for. The lime cheesecake is like nothing on earth, so unusual and tasty. I also had the raspberry sorbet and that was gorgeous, ineffable to be honest. My son just adored the Cornish cream vanilla in a bubble gum cone. I want to return to Perranporth just to have the ice cream here again.

I nearly gave this place a miss but am so glad I didn’t. It’s the best ice cream I’ve eaten in Cornwall for my entire holiday. I opted for the coffee flavoured one which had a lovely coffee hit, was beautifully creamy, wasn’t too sweet and the portion sizes were extremely generous - I’m sure many places would be classifying them as 2 scoops not one. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. There was a large range of novel flavours as well as the traditional ones. An absolute gem.

BEST ICE CREAM OF ALL TIME, me and my family and friends have spent the week in Perranporth as we go every year. We get ice cream here every day we are in perranporth. Kinder Bueno is AMAZING!! Keep the amazing ice cream up.

Quite clearly handmade ice cream as they advertise, with a wide variety of flavours to choose from. Also available is whippy ice cream, which are quite large and you certainly get your money’s worth.

Very poor for allergies. So much cross contamination it was scary. Even if you wanted dairy free sorbet it wasn't worth the risk because of the ice cream dropped in it!! Avoid if you have allergies.

Fantastic place. All 5 of us (dog included) loved our ice creams. The size and the flavours weren't what we expected they were better. Thank you so much for finishing turning my day around
Heidi M — Google review
Both of us and our families have been coming here for years, no issues ice cream always good. Came as usual for a good ice cream, was delicious. Staff kind, was trying to overcharge us for 2 single ice creams in a cone twice but this was resolved. Went back a few times after no worries ice cream still lovely. However went back today and recieved the worst customer service on this trip so far, we ordered 2 ice creams, one mint chocolate chip which had neither taste present in it and one rum and rasin which tasted like sour off milk. We had one bite of our ice creams, and immediately knew something was wrong. We went back into the store to deal with the issue, there where 2 ladies on the first one was serving a customer whilst the blonde one with a face like a fried egg stared into space, before eventually looking at us and asking us whats wrong. We explained the ice creams where different then normal, and we wanted new ones as they are inedible. The girls just argued back, saying we have already had some and they cant take it back, we explained we come here all the time and had had one bite and wanted to switch it for something thats not off and tasted nice. I asked to speak to a manager, the girl next to her replied rather rudely whilst smirking i am the manager. She kept repeating herself saying you have eaten the ice cream despite we hadnt, and refused us a refund and advising there is no one else to speak too to take this further. The other girl advised that she did everything right, to which i responded that instructions i gave to her where not followed she ignored this and persisted she was right. The manager then very rudely said she had to serve more customers and brushed us aside. We were not rude, we where not shouting we were quite politely voicing our concerns as we payed £13 nearly for the off and bland ice cream, which was very different to what we are used too. We threw them in the bin and left, such a waste. Would not advice to go here,we certainly will not be going back avoid avoid avoid! My advice would be give another local establishment the chance.

Really disappointed with allergy care. The staff’s knowledge (and care) was well below what was needed. The staff didn’t know what was in the sorbet, and didn’t know how to find out. The information was missing and angry shouts from management out the back (rather than actual supervision of junior staff didn’t help). Once we found out that the sorbet didn’t contain the allergen of concern, the staff then used the contaminated normal scoop. Really disappointing. And a very ill daughter at the end of the holiday.

I’ve always loved Sarah’s pasty shop, and since the cake shop has opened I’ve loved it too. The staff are all amazing and friendly. The cakes and desserts are incredibly tasty. You get a lovely big portion for such a good price. We have previously ordered a whole cake for an occasion and they are so well decorated and delicious. I love that you can see the open kitchens as they create and make the products in both stores. The cake display in the window is so useful to see prices and see the product, then easy to order at the door to take away. Sarah’s is always somewhere I will always visit and purchase a treat every time I come to Looe, from my own childhood having pasty’s from the hole in the wall, and now for my own child to experience both of these amazing stores too. Thank you for both of the amazing teams of both stores. 💜 Edit : made this review and the same day received a cake for my birthday off my partner 😂 had to add the photos

The most delicious and aesthetically pleasing cakes! We stopped by here whilst on holiday last week. The weather had been drizzly and the smell of warm cake was like a comforting blanket! We bought three slices of cake, a chocolate cornflake bar and one cake pot! The price was reasonable at just over £20, we were expecting it to be a lot more. The slice of cake was ginormous and it took more than one sitting to eat it all! Definitely recommend and will be purchasing online if possible!

Went here on a whim to try some ice cream. I asked if they do tasting samples and was immediately met with a no. That should've been my first clue, but I ended up going for the coffee ice cream. I asked for a single cone but was given a waffle cone which was 50p more expensive, a fact I realised once she'd told me the price to pay. Once the ice cream was on the cone, the woman held the ice cream in her hand until the payment had gone through before handing it to me - did she think I was going to run away without paying?! It was just such a strange way to treat a customer and made me feel incredibly unwelcome. Anyhow, ice cream awful and powdery - not sure how you manage to do that to ice cream. I'm sure there must be better options in the village!

I have returned a few times to Ragamuffins now and have been very pleased with the experience every time. I have eaten and taken away from here. My usual order is a flat white and some form of food: a cake, sausage roll, sandwich… They have a great variety on their menu. I only wish that there were a few extra tables inside. Lovely staff too. Looking forward to my next return!

We went to Falmouth for a browse around and sit by the pier. We called in Ragamuffins for a coffee and toasted teacakes. Plenty of butter served with the teacakes. The coffee's were very hot which is always a bonus with us."You can always wait for a coffee ☕️to cool down but not to warm up". 🤣 We later called back for a light lunch. Chicken and bacon sandwhich and a Steak and Ale Pastie. Both meals were garnished with plentiful salad. The place is spotlessly clean and staff very friendly and welcoming. Why I didn't give 5* is because steps to the loos are very steep. *Toilets were clean. I do believe the lady in the shop showed a gentleman a different way without using the steep steps.) Would highly recommend, and definitely return.

Honestly some of the best food in Falmouth. Such reasonable prices, we are local and have just started to come after discovering how incredible it is. The staff are so so lovely and we just cannot get over how fresh and amazing it is. Would recommend to everyone to come and support this small cafe! We will be back again and again

We are sat in the restaurant as I type this as I could not wait to review. Ordered poached eggs on toast and regular bfast. Wow the presentation was lovely. Food was tasty and we had absolutely no concerns or complaints at all. This is our second visit here, the first was an okay visit but this time. Very very nice. Just for info, not disabled friendly as steps and also a lot of steps down to the toilet, unless I am incorrect and happy for the owner to comment about that. Prices are normal Cornwall breakfast prices but this place is lovely Staff were nice and the view out is great. Thank you

Fabulous sandwich to go, really well filled and with a lovely touch of salad and crisps included in the takeaway box. Cake was lovely too! Staff great: friendly, informative, efficient even though it was incredibly busy on a super hot day.

Biscoff Cheese cake is really nice, thick and smooth and not overly sweet. Definitely recommend it. The toastie is really nice as well. The americano is really bitter and has no sour taste to it, seems like the coffee beans are not fermented properly? But that’s just a guess, it’s just not what I like personally.

Bloody amazing Super friendly place. Even though they were closed and sorting out items for the half term holiday rush, they still gave us a very welcoming feeling and sheltered us from the rain. Put us infront of the fire to warm ourselves and a brilliant. Lush coffees and cookie dough cake. Fantastic artwork on the Walls each had their own story. I would love to come back and enjoy another few hours creating some art and enjoying Polperros best coffee.

We only had some cakes and coffee but they were lovely. The owners were so friendly and told our children stories of Polperro. They advised us on where to go and what to see and my daughter loved the story of the mermaids and their tears. Both dogs were so friendly and our children loved them. Toys were also there to occupy them. Such a welcoming and lovely place. Thank you!

A wonderful lunchtime experience at this adorable little place in Polperro. Decorated very nicely; warm and welcoming. The young lady running the counter was extremely friendly, polite and accommodating to our needs. Food was excellent and a great price for a huge plate of Nachos and two wines. The perfect lunch! Couldn’t resist a slice of gluten free cake to take away for later… so yummy! Want to go back to try out a workshop next year! They look super fun!

We used google when going round Oz and NZ for the best coffee places ( there are no bad reviews over there BTW it’s awesome everywhere ) and did the same for Polperro where this place came up. First off it had such a nice vibe about it with chilled music and nice decor. The coffee was amazing, strong flat whites and we treated ourselves to a cookie dough slice ( warmed with fresh cream ) soooo good but so bad haha. I also bought a T shirt from the art place attached and the designs are unique and relevant and make a great souvenir for our visit. If you’re in the area pop in you won’t be disappointed.

Nestled in the charming coastal town of Looe, Truly Scrumptious is a delightful café that beckons visitors with its warm ambiance and delectable offerings. On a sunny June day, my wife and I found ourselves craving something sweet after lunch, so we decided to stop by this quaint spot. The inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee drew us in, but it was the sight of their mouthwatering Bailey's Cheesecake displayed in the window that truly caught our attention.
Popped in for a cup of coffee and some granary toast with butter. Truly Scrumptious was spotlessly clean, the staff polite and friendly. There is a nice ambience with music playing in the background but not too loud to be intrusive. The coffee was good and the granary toast tasty. There was a selection of cakes on offer and they looked "truly scrumptious". Would not hesitate to recommend, well worth a visit!

Just visited the lovely Cornish town of Looe. A lovely picturesque coastal town split through the middle by the river flowing through it. My wife and I called in to 'Truly Scrumptious' for a coffee and a Hot Chocolate drink, but what really tempted us in was the "Bailey's Cheesecake's" in the window... The lovely couple behind the counter appeared to be the owners. They were lovely and polite... They made a great coffee and chocolate drink, and, the homemade cheesecake was absolutely amazing. Thank you for making it a pleasant experience for two northerners. Amazing food, great coffee, and chocolate. Lovely people. xxxxx

By far the nicest garden centre cafe in Cornwall, and generally one of the best places to go for lunch too. Food was amazing, prices were very reasonable, quick service, happy staff, a lovely atmosphere in the cafe, comfy seats, in and outdoor seating, great menu and good portions.

Had a wonderful meal here with family. Booked a pod for 6, the staff were so lovely and welcoming. Helpful with orders and any requests. Very polite and friendly manner made for a great atmosphere. Came and took orders and checked in on us throughout our meal. Food was really tasty for all, had ordered various dishes from the menu all happy with what we had. Many empty plates!! Highly impressed with the service and staff, food was just as impressive and delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit… only note to make which isn’t to do with the restaurant but the toilets available are in the garden centre which aren’t the best and could do with improvements. However doesn’t take away from a lovely time had at the potting shed ☺️

Walked by the sign and were drawn in by the decent reviews. Set at the back of a garden centre and in nice surroundings. Coffees were good (Cappuccino, latte and baby chino) while Cornish Breakfast was your pretty standard fry up, tea cake was well ok and the avocado poached eggs were ok. All in all, a decent place to go with very little in walking distance but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return or visit.

Unfortunately, this lunch was quite a disappointment. I ordered the Arkadian Chicken Salad — the chicken was extremely spicy I couldn't eat it all , more like something from an Indian restaurant, which didn’t suit the character of the salad at all and wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the description. We were seated by the window near the entrance, where people waiting in line were staring straight in at our food — it was very uncomfortable. Throughout our visit, no one from the staff came over to check on us or ask if we needed anything. I understand the team might have been busy, but the complete lack of attention made us feel completely ignored. Sadly, this was one of the worst lunches I’ve ever had. I can’t leave a positive review

(After the nice reply, this is staying on my favourite list and we would like to come back again when we are in Newquay again) Came here a year ago and it was the most pleasant experience with the most amazing and unique taste. This time we came with some friends. Now one of our friends got a drink from another cafe, and this lady at choukette basically lost it. Its understandable you don't want competitors inside, but come up with a solution instead of ruining the whole experience... Provide your own cup for them to put their drink in. We choose to come to your establishment and spend the morning there, don't treat all of us like scum who dare smell another cafe from a 5 mile radius! Needless to say it ruined the experience for us all and it was not enjoyable at all. This could and should have been handled differently to turn it around. Last time we had a lovely french bloke who made the experience fantastic. Less than impressed, if I was serving that morning in the cafe I would have handled that Very differently. Bakery items were lovely at choukette and at least dogs are allowed inside. Photo attached is from Milk Cafe in Newquay who provided an exceptional customer experience and top notch coffee and food.

The cozy vibes offered by this place with the amazing food can not be topped for me. Visited with my friends and it was definitely worth it. The details in the service are amazing and quality is top notch. We got croissants, marshmallow cookies, cinnamon roll and of course coffee along with the greetful bonus... wait for it....a Chouquette, and they were all amazing with my personal favourite being the Cinnamon roll. The Café might have different items depending on the day, so a heads-up (wanted to try Flan but was not available at that day). The staff is very friendly and the place is well maintained.

Loved this place! First off, the ice cream was great; which everyone already knows. The atmosphere fresh and comfy, and Mr Freddo (sorry, I didn't catch his name!) made everyone in the shop feel like family. I mean, the man bounced my baby so that I could enjoy my ice cream. That is every parent-on-holiday's dream. 10000% will recommend!
Nikki D — Google review
While on holiday in Newquay with the family, I Googled “best ice cream in Newquay Cornwall” and Freddo’s came up. By total chance, it turned out to be right outside where we were standing. That happy coincidence led to one of the best customer experiences we’ve had in a long time. When we walked in, I deliberately said to my daughter, “What would you like to pick, birthday girl?” so the owner might hear. He did and immediately handed her a small chocolate bar and said, “Here’s a little birthday treat.” That simple gesture set the tone for something really special. From that moment, we were treated like regulars or even family. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and completely relaxed. Despite a busy queue, we never felt rushed. He made time to speak to us, introduced himself, made our daughters laugh, and focused his attention on them, not just us as the paying parents. It felt genuine not scripted or forced. The highlight? They brought out a mini ice cream, popped a candle in it, and sang Happy Birthday to my daughter. It was such a small thing, but it meant everything. We were honestly touched and our daughter was glowing. What really stood out was how naturally thoughtful everything was. On the wall, there was a simple message that said “We care.” At first glance, it related to their eco-conscious, sustainable business practices but after being served by them, it was clear that “We care” wasn’t just about the environment. It was about people. You could feel it in the way they interacted with everyone. When I told them they came up when I searched “best ice cream in Newquay Cornwall,” they just smiled and said, “That’s great to hear.” No chasing for reviews, no bragging. Just great people doing things right. The ice cream itself? Delicious. Definitely better than the one we had the day before though I’m sure the experience made it taste even sweeter. Even the small stuff was handled with care. Like the sign about using the loo it’s a bit of a walk upstairs, but they’d put a ping pong bat on the wall to take with you as a signal. It made us laugh and showed how much thought they put into making every part of the visit smoother and more enjoyable. Freddo’s is more than just an ice cream shop. It’s a place that feels good because they care. We’ll 100% be back. Thank you for the kindness and the memory.

Lovely ice cream but tables, chairs and the general area around the seating was filthy. Coffee shop
The Clementine Cakery in Wadebridge is a must-visit for its sensational cakes and excellent coffee. Customers have raved about the bespoke cakes, praising their beauty and deliciousness. The customer service is top-notch, making it a delightful experience overall. Located near the camel trail cycle hire shops, this cakery offers friendly service and sweet treats that are perfect for any celebration or simply indulging in some delicious cupcakes with a variety of flavors to choose from.
Wow... so glad we checked Google and found this fantastic shop! We picked a few different cakes to try and were impressed by each one. Our favourites were a Pistachio and white chocolate cookie and the Lotus millionaire shortbread. In hindsight we'd have picked more of the "cakey" options as the Pistachio cake was so light and perfect with a cup of tea/coffee. We aren't local but we will hopefully get back here one day!

I was finally able to try this gem of a spot this week and I can't wait to go back as soon as. Attentive service, absolutely stunning drinks and food! Can't recommend enough.

What a fabulous little spot! We stumbled upon this place as a stop doing the Camel Trail and what a gem. The service from the 2 women who run it was super friendly, relaxed and welcoming. The whole aesthetic and vibe of the place is spot on and the coffee is great (coming from NZ that says a lot!). The cupcakes flavours have been really thought through, well balanced and a light airy delicious buttercream. What a fantastic place, i can see why theyve stuck around for the past 5 years!

We visit the Clementine Cakery whenever we go to Wadebridge as Charlotte’s cakes are sensational & the coffee is excellent too. We recently took the opportunity to order a bespoke cake for my Mum’s 80’s birthday and the result was not only beautiful but was just so delicious too and the lightest cake I have ever had. The customer service was first rate too. I wish Charlotte every success with the Clementine Cakery & thoroughly recommend everything that she does.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Clementine Wadebridge – The Caffeine Queens of Cornwall! Step aside, soggy service stations and average high street coffee chains – Clementine in Wadebridge is here to raise the bar (and the heart rate, thanks to their killer lattes ☕️). Run by two of the cheeriest humans in Cornwall, these girls greet you like you’re an old friend—even if it’s your first time in. Smiles, chat, and sass served as standard. Honestly, if happiness had a sound, it would be the bell above their door. Now let’s talk coffee. Not just any coffee – oh no – they brew with Roasting Room coffee, which basically makes them latte royalty. It’s rich, smooth, and so good you’ll question every cup you’ve ever had before. One sip and you’ll be planning your next visit before the froth’s even settled. And the cakes and food? Freshly made, properly delicious, and dangerously moreish. Whether it’s a flaky pastry, a chunky slice of homemade cake, or something savoury that actually tastes like real food, it’s all whipped up with love and serious skill. TL;DR: ✔️ Best lattes in the county ✔️ Service with sparkle ✔️ Cakes that make your nan’s baking look average (sorry, Nan) ✔️ A must-visit spot in Wadebridge Get there early, stay as long as socially acceptable, and prepare to become a regular. #ClementineWadebridge #CoffeeGoals #RoastingRoomMagic #LatteLegends #CakeOfDreams #SupportLocal #CheerfulCoffeeCrew #WadebridgeWonders

Ordered a semi naked cake for my mother's 80th with quite short notice. We are not local so asked for recommendations on the Wadebridge Facebook page. Cake was amazing in looks and taste. Would definitely recommend 👌

Little cake shop that is big in flavour with delicious cup cakes and great coffee. Definitely recommend a quick stop. The challenge is deciding which of the cakes to eat!!!

Nothing to explain it was the best ice cream ever!!!

We recently visited this ice cream shop with our almost three-year-old, who was thrilled to get a treat. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by the unpleasant staff member who served us on August 22nd, 2024. She completely ignored our little boy, despite his polite attempts to ask for mint chocolate chip ice cream. We were so taken aback by her rudeness that we left without making a purchase. It was heartbreaking to see our son so disappointed and upset by the cold treatment he received.

we went here with three children and got 3 milkshakes, they cost £5 and were not good terrible quality .One of the children’s cup split went to ask for another and were told we would have to pay for empty cup spending £ 15 .staff were unfriendly bad service .

We got 2 ice cream milkshakes from here which cost £4.80 each and my god were they bad. It mainly consisted of milk with a very small scoop of ice cream so it just tasted like milk. The lady serving was not friendly at all and very slow so we queued to get these as well. I would not recommend to anyone 🫠

Maria's is a charming spot that offers incredible food and drinks. The menu features delicious dishes, with the Brie being a standout favorite. Guests can also enjoy refreshing sangria and fantastic cocktails. The friendly staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience, even accommodating furry friends with treats. In addition to the delightful dining experience, Maria's also offers light lunches at great prices and delectable handmade chocolates perfect for gifts.
GET THE PASTEL DE NATAS! They are absolutely irresistible, flaky crust, warm custard. Perfectly authentically Portuguese. Delicious chocolate, lovely staff. We love to visit as often as we can.

I was so disappointed with my lunch here. I had spiced lentil soup (which was nice but not amazing) which came with toast. The toast was one piece of low quality shop bought white bread; I would describe a thin sliced hovis-type toastie bread. This cost me £8! When I have eaten here in the past I remember having delicious food! They used to serve a homemade Portuguese black bean and pork stew (which I was hoping to have today) which was served with thick homemade bread. Sadly Maria's has gone down in quality and value for money with time. It's a shame. Despite this, the service was efficient and friendly so I can't fault that aspect.

Lovely place. Lovely coffee. Delicious looking chocolate! I’m looking forward to visiting again soon!

Went in with my husband and children a month ago. I had the soup which was very tasty, however I was disappointed with the lack of bread choices for their sandwiches. They only offer granary bread, and as someone with a seed allergy, the only option I had was soup. Maybe something to consider for future.

We had the most amazing meal here this evening. The food was incredible.... we had 4 dishes between two of us which was a perfect amount. My favourite was the Brie.... heaven! We also had sangria and a couple of cocktails which were also fantastic. The two ladies that served us were extremely friendly too... they let us bring our dog in and even gave him some dog treats. We can’t wait to go back soon!

Incredibly rude staff - don’t allow dogs and just shouted at me in front of all the customers before I even stepped over the threshold with my tiny dog. Didn’t even offer to serve me outside. Very outdated and rude attitude - went up the road to the coffee shop which was fantastic and very welcoming. I certainly won’t be back to Maria’s or recommending it - what a shame as I love chocolates and coffee.

Very expensive but you can see true love and attention to detail in the work they do. Everything is so well presented and loads of different designs in dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate. They also do vegan as well if you swing that way. I would say taste of the chocolate is quite average and not worth the expense. You get a good amount of coco but it is very dry and not milky. There is a lot of choice and you can spend anything from £1 upto about £30 on 1 item.

Such a find! Lovely light lunches at good prices and amazing handmade chocolates. Got all our pressies for the folks back home here and all most impressed. Incredibly helpful and friendly owners and it's spotlessly clean, cute and comfortable.
