Food was excellent, if not a tad on the expensive side. Service could have been better, felt forgotten about at times, perhaps due to it being busy. Have a good range of good quality seafood on the menu, the oysters were super fresh and tasty. Worth a visit if you like seafood.

Food was to die for. Oysters are a nice good size. We were recommended to try the bang bang cauliflower by the waitress and it did not disappoint. You get loads in lobster roll and the portion of fish and chips is also very good. Definitely recommend. It all tasted very fresh. We also went on a very hot day and an effort was made to spread the customers around to keep it nice and cool in the restaurant. Definitely recommend. Also the location is perfect, good to have a stroll around after, and easy to park with free parking in Sundays!

We had an unforgettable experience at Rick Stein’s. From start to finish, everything was flawless ,the atmosphere, the service, and most importantly, the food. The salt and pepper prawns were perfectly crisp with just the right amount of heat. The beef steak was cooked beautifully tender, full of flavour, and paired wonderfully with the accompaniments. The cauliflower bang bang was a real surprise — bursting with flavour and utterly addictive. The crab linguine was everything you’d hope for at a seafood restaurant: fresh, delicate, and rich without being overpowering. And the crème brûlée was a flawless finish creamy and smooth with that perfect crack on top. The staff were warm, knowledgeable, and attentive , truly elevating the whole experience. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We’ll absolutely be back and are already recommending it to friends and family!

First, let me say that Rick Stein is my all time favourite TV chef, so when I was in Marlborough, and saw there was one of his restaurants there, I cancelled my previous booking elsewhere and booked here. I could go on and on about why I was so disappointed, but ultimately, the food here was just ok. We had a halloumi appetizer - very nice and well balanced, followed by mackerel, scallops and watermelon salad as 3 starters. Mackerel was nicely cooked but the whole dish was bland, the scallops were completely tasteless - I mean completely - like nothing, and the watermelon salad was not exactly fresh - withered rocket and watery over ripe watermelon pieces. The fish curry main was very nice, but all in all, when you consider the portions are all smaller and the price is highly inflated (as you would expect), you expect the quality to be much higher. I was entirely disappointed, and would recommend 3 or 4 other restaurants in Marlborough instead. If I didn't love Rick's tv shows so much and enjoy his books, I would have marked it lower.

We enjoyed our outing but didn't feel we got the overall wow factor like we've had on our visits to the Seafood restaurant or the Cafe in Padstow. The front of house staff, whilst kind and attentive (when other customers permitted!), weren't necessarily as fully trained as we have become to expect from the Rick Stein brand when they are working on the floor. One of our starters didn't arrive complete, but unfortunately, the kitchen nor the server noticed. Overall, it was a pleasant afternoon, but we were hoping for more.

Had a three course lunch today, prawn tempura, mackerel paste, lobster roll, steak frites, chocolate tart for dessert…restaurant is very dark inside and didn’t really fit with the bright summers day. Toilets were v messy and not quite in line with expectations. Food was v salty and the portions were not big. Service was set at 12.5% cover charge, a little high, optional of course….Left a little disappointed to be honest

Service is impeccable, Staff was so attentive and liked how they took our coats and welcomed us warmly! Drinks were great. The only almost negative star was the duck confit seemed overcooked (but still yummy so I still ate it haha) but the sourdough, mussels w escargot butter, glazed honey carrots and crab linguine was delicious. Would come again if I was back in Marlborough, to try other dishes!

It has a great atmosphere and fantastic staff. We got caught in the rain at Stonehenge, and this was the perfect place to warm up with a cup of tea and a meal. They even lend you blankets if you're chilly. The cozy burger was so good!

Had a lovely breakfast today in the garden courtyard, the eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. The coffee was lovely too. Service was spot on. I can’t fault the whole experience, the staff were brilliant, thank you!

Excellent decor, great food, very friendly front of house staff. Hate the discretionary 10% added, particularly when front of house are the ones trying to cover the tardy kitchen.

Had a fantastic time here for a family celebration! The staff were super accommodating, even shifting our table to fit the high chair without a hitch. The Asian Buttermilk Fried Chicken was a real stand-out alongside the juicy Spanish Chicken, both cooked to perfection. Cocktails like the Cherry Bakewell and Speakeasy Old Fashioned were top-notch too. It may not be the cheapest, but it's definitely worth every penny for a lively atmosphere and incredible food.

I only ende up here because I needed a place to have breakfast and kill sometime until my train. I was surprised to discover that the breakfast is actually really well made. Nothing too fancy but you could see there is an effort made to provide something good. Service is also lovely. Would definitely come back

Came here very recently with my wife for my 40th birthday. We are not local so had no idea what to expect. The decor was excellent, the food was delicious and the service was absolutely spot on (was served by a young brunette, I’m sorry I can’t remember your name). Would highly recommend this place and if we lived closer we’d be making it our regular.

Really incredible service from the cosy club today for my son's birthday celebration. I hadn't realised it was a nut free restaurant, and my son's birthday cake that we brought in had nuts - they went over and above to make it right as we couldn't use the cake! Really impressed with the serving team, and the way they handled the situation! (I'm intentionally not saying what they did so people don't try to game the system!!) But thank you so much - and love the energy and positivity the whole team had

We visited for lunch and were provided with excellent food and friendly service. This is a high quality restaurant rather than a village Inn. An interesting menu with all dishes very well prepared and presented. The home made bread was wonderful. Only disappointment was that dogs were allowed in the dining area. Would have been nice to have a dog free area to enjoy such good food in a restaurant of this quality.

Good location, just off the main road. Great service, and a good choice of ales. With the fire going it was a little too warm for my liking, but I wasn't sitting eating so that maybe the reason. Otherwise worth a visit.

A truly wonderful place, great staff always there to help and lovely rooms overlooking the river Avon lots of wildlife to watch food in the pub is great as you would expect for a Michelin Star pub.

Another great meal. Not cheap of course, but very good value for what it is which is some of the best food in the area coupled with great atmosphere and excellent service and hospitality: difficult to ensure in rural areas.

Nice countryside atmosphere and very local vibe. Beer and cider was fresh and staff was very happy to help out. Felt welcoming after a long days walk. Definitely a good choice with the beer garden attached. Couldn't try the food though.

Lovely pub with good food. I like the variety of prices as I just wanted a light lunch when I went in today with my dog, so got the Summer Ploughman's which was a good price and substantial. Both staff at the bar were very welcoming, and Liv brought out snacks for my dog and was intuative and helpful. Great staff make for a great experience and I will definitely return when I am next in the area.

Excellent food here, as well as a good selection of drinks and friendly service. In addition, this is a "dog friendly" pub, offering a garden area and the freedom to bring four-legged friends into the pub. While I was there guests included large families with children as well as couples. Dogs were kept very much under control. The dining area is spread over at least two large rooms and is very clean and well-maintained. At the time I visited (Christmas), a two course meal was under 25 pounds and a three course meal for 28 (not including alcohol). Highly recommended and I will go again.

A great pub and well worth visiting. All pubs need our support. Now, to be honest, my Sunday lunch was not the best. I believe the butcher might have let them down as the Beef was a bit ropey. The Yorkshires were a bit dry too - but they can be quite tricky. Not going to down vote as all other food was excellent- i will try lunch there again as it might just have been a duff joint, or my bad luck. Everything else was excellent.

Great family run pub with amazing food and great atmosphere whether your out for a midweek drink at the bar, taking your family and friends for an excellent meal or there for one of their events like folk night on the third Wednesday every month! Hands down the best pub around there!

One of our favourite tea room destinations and today didnt disappoint. Diced bacon on thick slice of brie topping a layer of cranberry sauce on crunchy sourdough, delivered cheerfully by our smiling waitress

Nice full English for Mother’s Day, great place with quality food and even better paid for by my daughter! The mothers weren’t offered as many Mimosas as advertised but we still had a good time.

What a lovely place to have a Tearoom, That tea served lovely as is their cakes and the atmosphere is very peaceful and beautifully decorated insider and the tables outside, under the tree's, are a nice touch. Nice toilets as swell.

I absolutely loved their decor and vibe the moment I walked in! The lady at the store was so sweet and welcoming. Their scones were fluffy and soft with delectable savory and sweet options & the loose leaf tea was so fresh making it the best tea I've had during my visit in England. The bree n cranberry sandwich had the softest bread ever tasted that melts in your mouth. The French press coffee was so fresh and the experience of pressing it yourself is one of a kind. The towels in the bathroom was also so cute loved it! Will most definitely come back here if I visit again!

Absolutely adored this tearoom. Beautiful crockery; fabulous food; great staff. The Cherry Sencha and Ginger Polenta cake are delicious. My only disappointment was they wouldn't let me sneak my cup and saucer into my bag. 😁 Highly recommend and will definitely return. 💞

Highly recommend the caramel flavoured tea! Went nicely with my warm scones. We also chose a slice of cake each to take home to Bristol, a lovely end to our trip.

Lovely tearoom in Tisbury with a Cecil Beaton theam. The staff and service are very good, the tea lovely and cake was superb. It is my second visit and after the first I taylored my cycle ride to stop here. Will visit again with out a doubt.

Very happy that they stayed open until 10:00!! We ordered a garlic bread appetizer and it was fantastic!!! The two pizzas were ordered were delicious as well.

One of the best tomato soups i have ever tried! Their bolognese was also pretty good. Definitely recommend their pizzas as they’re thin but pack so much flavor

2024- amazing service, I got an order wrong of how sirloin should be cooked (my mistake) and they kindly corrected it for me. Lovely food and great atmosphere. Recommend. 2023 update- went for dinner here recently with a large group over 15 people. Food came out all together, really good quality and reasonably priced. 2020- Lovely food, lovely decor of the restaurant, good table service and a clean environment. Prices are reasonable and food is delicious. I have been here twice and would return. The fresh pizzas are delicious as are the beef burgers. There is a nice range to chose from the menu also. I would recommend for people to try!

Amazing food! We took our toddler and she absolutely smashed her pasta. It's so refreshing to go somewhere that doesn't just have the standard 'chicken nuggets & chips' or 'tomato pasta' kids menu, instead offering smaller portions of pretty much the whole menu. Our pizzas were great too. This was our first time visiting and will definitely be back.

Being here with my family (of 5) to have dinner two evenings in a row as, we were really happy with their service and food quality, nice atmosphere! As for parking, I don’t know as we walk from our hotel, but as I noticed there was no street parking available. Highly recommended!

We came in just before closing time , they allowed us to order and eat in. The whippy machine was out of order after a little persuading they gave us gelato instead. Overall I think everything was rushed strawberries were a little smushy. The jar dessert we got was awful and a waste of £9.95...was horrible and dry. Service was good and staff are nice

We arrived at 9:20pm (closed at 9:30) and they still let us sit down and have something to eat. This was really nice of them as they were clearly in there process of tidying up. The food was great. The pancakes are large. If you like sweet....and I mean SWEET desserts, this place is good for you. Would definitely eat at one of these again.

The staff are very friendly which is fantastic in a local place, the products are reasonably priced but the quality isn't brilliant or luxurious, although it is indulgent. it's nice to have a dessert venue in Salisbury, great stuff! we will return thanks for having great staff they really make it a happy place!

Been quite a few times always been good experiences. The waffles, shakes and sundes are really good. Always had great experiences and staff always great. Makes a great treat on special occasions.

Very yummy, too much sugar and you will die into food coma. The menu has a big variety. Crepes, waffles, ice cream, shakes, tea ...you name it The cookie dough with its toppings was top notch, but i sadly couldnt finish it because it was just too much. Id share next time because its really too much to cope alone.

Took my son for a waffle, small quirky little place. We had some fruit juices, fresh and delicious...my son loved his waffles....would have been better of all our order was brought out at the same time though. My son ended up eating on his own

Waffles were absolutely lovely, warm, just the right amount of sweet. Staff happily adjusted toppings to what we like rather than insisting on choosing strictly off the menu which was great. Only downside was the wait what was said to be about 15 mins, turned out probably more like 20. But it was worth it.

Staff were really friendly and the restaurant has a really nice chilled vibe. The waffles were delicious and the portion sizes were just right especially when you're doubling up on the sweet things with a gourmet hot chocolate.I would definitely recommend visiting.

Amazingly tasty waffles! Great place in the centre of Salisbury , a great range of both sweet and savoury waffles, lots of coffee choices, perfect!. Two improvements for me would be slightly earlier opening hours on Saturday (9am instead of 10am) and some bike racks for customers (although how that would work I don't know)

Menu looked great!! But unfortunately when my friend and I sat down the cutlery was not fully clean and the napkins looked like they had been used. The food tasted really good but then my friend found a small piece of plastic in her waffle, and a hair. But other then that it was great and the service was amazing!

This was our first visit after being told about it by a friend. It's quite a small place with limited seating but it was quiet when we got there and we had a table. The menu is good, plenty of options although it is a little on the expensive side. The food was delicious! We all really enjoyed what we had ordered and although expensive you do get a decent portion of yummy food. The staff on today that we saw were really polite and friendly and managed to keep up when it got busier. All in all a great visit and we will go back!

This is such a special, gorgeous and amazing place. We stayed Friday- Sunday and wanted to experience everything. Starting with afternoon tea which was delicious and served in a gorgeous grand room. We then headed to the spa, excellent facilities, enough people there for atmosphere but not overcrowded which was perfect. I had an amazing massage - lovely knowledgeable and attentive staff. We had dinner in greys that night which was fantastic, lots of choice, hard to choose and delicious food. The next night we had the tasting menu and it was faultless, such a special experience. The staff are very attentive, friendly, personal and they go above and beyond. Quick and efficient service. Beautiful gardens to walk through. The cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at, credit to the cleaning staff. 10/10. Can't fault it.

We chose Whatley Manor for a special celebration—my furry friend's birthday! From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were delighted that they all knew my dog's name and were aware it was his special day. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was very spacious and comfortable. The room was immaculately clean, and the housekeeping staff were exceptionally attentive and efficient, ensuring our room was tidied up while we were at breakfast. The grounds were absolutely stunning and beautifully maintained by the gardeners. We had both breakfast and dinner at Grey's Brasserie, which was a fantastic bonus as it is dog-friendly. The food was lovely, although we found it to be a little too salty for our taste.

Myself and a friend dinned here on Sunday since it has been on our list to try for a very long time and it was amazing. The Front of house staff were amazing and very knowledgeable, they made us feel very welcomed and relaxed from the second we walked through the door. The food was exceptional and great to see how sustainable the dishes were and how local some of the produce was. It was an amazing evening and I would 100% recommend.

Really great service and food in a lovely location. Mid-size hotel in beautiful old classic Cotswold manor house. Nice gardens for a stroll. Very relaxing as is surrounded by farmers fields. Small plates restaurant was v good. Particular shout-out for the service which was friendly and welcoming.

Whatley Manor Hotel and Spa advertise themselves as dog friendly. I've been to many so called dog friendly hotels but their not. Whatley truly is dog friendly. They can't do enough for our Great Dane dog. Couple this with the best hotel for luxury, comfort and customer service. The hotel and gardens are stunning. I can not recommend this hotel strongly enough to you all. To the staff at the fantastic Whatley Manor Hotel and Spa thank you. We will definitely be coming here again.

Had the most amazing afternoon tea at Whatley Manor today. The service was exceptional, the staff were very polite and attentive. The afternoon tea was delicious and catered for all dietary needs. We love Whatley Manor, came here for our honeymoon and our anniversary/babymoon. They handle dietary requirements well and go above and beyond to make the stay lovely. The buildings and grounds are beautiful too. Hopefully be back next year 🤞

A personality for service does not exist here. With a company motto that would appear to be "shhhhh we don't care" you can guarantee to enter in silence and leave with only the specifics of your order being spoken.

The few times we’ve been in they have had no soya milk. We’re both vegan so we’ve left without buying anything. We don’t bother even going there since the last time as we just assume they won’t be able to serve us. Why bother having a non-animal option on the menu if you hardly ever have it available? There is no “sorry” from them either, just matter of fact “got no soya milk”. I guess, they don’t want money from vegans!

We have visited here several times in the last year with our young daughter. Each time, we have been served by the most sullen, passive aggressive people who seem to like to go out their way to be extremely unhelpful. The milkshakes are overpriced but I would happily see past that if the service wasn't appalling. We have given them several chances now but we will definitely not be returning. Do not bring your kids here as they will be confronted by a load of miserable women who need to find jobs that are not in the service industry.

My 5 year old was excited about coming here today. The lady who served him completely killed his enthusiasm. Would nearly respond to him when he asked her questions and just kept asking him to look at the menu on the table. No eye contact, smile, or acknowledgement. And £5.50 for a kids size milkshake (vanilla ice cream, milk, and whipped cream). Won't be returning.

Wish I read the reviews before going. As mentioned in other reviews the woman with reddish hair is extremely rude and would rather stand gossiping about customers than providing customer service. When ordering my drink I was told they ran out of one of the toppings which was fine, I then asked if I could have an equivalent topping and I was bluntly told an additional topping is an extra charge repeatedly. a simple no would’ve sufficed.

Just the rudest lady at the till, gingery hair and glasses. She's not suited to front line customer service. Spoke rudely to my children. Only hung around in there because I'd already ordered and paid. What I thought would be relatively healthy alternatives to shakes were outrageously priced for what there were and made my children hyperactive for the following hour and a bit..... needless to say we won't ever return. A far nicer and beneficial shop should have their unit.☹️

Re: The last comment from Lucy. I was in fact the other customer the day in question. And I did not hear any staff speaking bluntly to her. She asked for Kale and was politely and apologetically told they did not have any. An alternative was offered but the price would reflect the item! If anything she was abrupt!

We booked an Easter egg making workshop with Amy as a treat to ourselves over the Easter weekend. We had the best time! Amy is so knowledgeable and shows you exactly how to make the most amazing chocolate creations. I can only describe our eggs as gourmet next-level!! Amy’s chocolate is also available to buy and is well worth it as it’s total delicious and unlike anything you can buy in the shops. If you are chocoholics like us, you’ll love Amy’s workshops!

Amy was absolutely brilliant! I booked the chocolate painting class for my best friends 30th - a class I thought she’d love combining her creativity and love of chocolate. Unfortunately our diaries are both always so busy and so I contacted Amy to see if she had any availability outside her already scheduled classes. Just for us she put on a class so I could book the experience on a date we could both make. From start to finish, Amy was welcoming and informative. The class could not have been a better experience and the chocolates turned out fantastic. Truly unique and I couldn’t recommend Amy and this experience more.

We had a fantastic time with Amy today making some chocolates. She is very knowledgable and calm and great with my step daughter. We came out with some great chocolates and were told by my step daughter on the way home “it was the best day ever”. Would highly recommend.

What a fabulous introduction to chocolate making! There were only three of us in the class and we all made some completely delicious and different creations. Amy let us all taste the ingredients we were adding and explained how all of the taste profiles worked together - completely enlightening. I loved it and will definitely be booking another one once I've had a chance to practice my new skills. Thanks Amy!

I had an chocolate Easter egg making class with Amy. It’s a lovely space, Amy is knowledgeable and a calm methodical teacher and I made an chocolate Easter egg, what’s not to love?! I would highly recommend the class, I found it relaxing and fun. I can’t wait to learn Bon Bons in the future.

Just had a great fun couple of hours with Amy making our very own Easter egg! It was really good fun, but also you learn a lot from tempering chocolate, how to fill and how to make the egg stick together. Amy is a great teacher. The location of the egg course was up at Burderop. It is in a stunning location. the chocolate is just simply delicious, Ethically sourced and very high quality. Thank you Amy. We will see you again. This was such a great way to spend 2 hours! We learned how to make pralines, truffles and slab chocolate and how to temper chocolate which was easier than I originally thought. Amy is so knowledgeable and passionate about chocolate and explained everything brilliantly, as well as making amazing chocolate! Thanks Amy, we'll be back for more fun soon!

Claire was so lovely and helpful from start to finish, she replied quickly, did a video consultation and a couple of days later sent out the delicious tasters and a few design ideas. Claire set up the cake and decorated it with the flowers from the garden at the venue and did such a beautiful job. I would highly recommend caked

From initial contact, Claire at Caked Patisserie was professional and helpful when liaising with us. Our tasters were received quickly, tasted incredible and our consultation was clear and was really tailored to us. We also ordered more tasters as they all tasted so good! We were provided with sketches of potential options based off our consultation and communication with Claire was always faultless. Claire partnered with our florist (so we didn’t have to) to arrange the flowers. The cake was delivered and set up on time and looked and tasted amazing with great compliments from our guests. It was exactly as described in our consultation and I’m so pleased we chose Caked Patisserie for our wedding cake. Claire was knowledgeable about different types of cakes and what would/wouldn't work with our set up, and even touched on weather conditions. She provided a delicious tasting selection pre-consultation and several designs post-consultation, was flexible with design changes, informative about flowers usage and transparent about her pricing. The 5-tier cake looked stunning on the day, tasted delicious and we received plenty of compliments. Could not recommend Claire enough - huge thanks!

I was absolutely delighted with the bespoke tropical themed Cake designed and baked for my Caribbean-themed 50th Birthday party by Caked Patisserie. Claire was professional, friendly and listened to my ideas, creating together a delicous beautiful cake with three different flavours, bespoke ombré buttercream icing and tropical flowers. It was absolutely delicious with plenty of portions to eat at the venue and guests to take home. I appreciated delivery to the venue to make everything stress-free. Highly recommended Claire for special occasion cakes!

Claire did the cake for our wedding cake in September 2019 and it was absolutely incredible. We went for a tasting in the summer and all the flavours were delicious. Wedding cake has a bit of a reputation for looking great but tasting awful and that was definitely NOT the case with Claire. Each layer we chose was a different flavour and decorated immaculately! I feel like I should also point out that the flowers on the cake were not real. They were all made from Claire's insane sugar flower work. We honestly couldn't have been happier with the finished result and all of our guests said it looked and tasted amazing. Fluffy Puffin provided us with our dessert for our wedding and it was out of this world. The staff were so easy to talk too and approachable. They even came and spoke the guests and the wedding party, which made them even more involved and apart of the day. The dessert itself was amazing. The flavours were rich and you could tell they were on a different calibre then your normal dessert. I would 100% recommend them and if you are look for a simple dessert with amazing quality then Fluffy Puffin is for you.

I absolutely loved the addition of Fluffy Puffin Ice Cream for our wedding! I met Georgie at a wedding fair and she immediately grabbed me with her passion and enthusiasm. I booked them at the end of January for our wedding towards the end of March but I knew I really wanted Fluffy Puffin Ice Cream! Georgie and the team were so helpful and flexible on the run up to the day - giving great advice on flavours and super responsive to emails. As an evening supplier they really added something super special to our wedding and we had so many compliments on the ice-cream! You won't regret hiring Georgie and her team at Fluffy Puffin.

Chris was a delight to work with and looking forward to working with him in the future. The event was a huge success and our client was very happy. The sorbets were delicious and very good quality, would definitely work with Fluffy Puffin again :)

What can I say about Fluffy Puffin but.....WOW! This is the most amazing ice cream you will ever taste. We booked Fluffy Puffin back in 2019 for our 2020 wedding which got postponed to 2022 and it was so worth the wait. What we loved about Chris was that he loved experimenting and coming up with new flavours which was so much fun. Chris and his team are so friendly and he tailored our package to our personalities which made it even better. We loved our personalised bar. We opted for the glow in the dark bar with the chocolate chilli roulette and it was so much fun, our guests were talking about it the next day. Some of our guests spent all night trying each of the flavours. I would highly recommend the Margarita ice cream and the Dark and Stormy. If you are thinking about booking Fluffy Puffin for your event / wedding - stop thinking and start booking because it is so worth it. Would highly recommend them for any event that you are doing. I'm trying to come up with another event just so I can book Fluffy Puffin again.

The ice cream - delicious. Doughnuts and wafers - yummy. Everything about Fluffy Puffin was exceptional. Chris and Jessica were easy to work with and made everything simple and painless. They communicated well and on the day nothing phased Chris at all. We highly recommend them, for both private and corporate events.

There are so many things I could write about the Fluffy Puffin but I'm afraid that no amount of stars would be able to rate the exceptional service we received from Chris. From the very beginning Chris tailored our package just for us, being avid Fluffy Puffin fans we just had to have them at our wedding, we picked from a delightful list of flavours and were not disappointed by the pure tastiness that we enjoyed on our wedding day, as well as our guests! I specifically noted that I WOULD be making time for ice-cream, nothing and no-one (I'm looking at the 20+ kids we had at our wedding) would get in my way and I can confidently say that it is the best ice-cream I have ever had the pleasure of eating, I'm sure many others would agree and I've even attached photo proof of me and new hubby chowing down. Aside from the marvellous ice-cream though, Chris was so friendly, accommodating and cheerful, the set up was gorgeous, he chatted with our guests and laughed and got involved and I honestly really appreciate that. He wasn't just there serving ice-cream, he was immersing himself in our wedding and I've had so many guests mention to me what an amazing experience they had from the ice-cream to the customer service! We ordered a firepit box from Sarah for our movie night, the box was full to the brim with goodies and I barely got a look in once the gel candle (an innovation!) was lit! The chocolate brownies were delish, and there was plenty for making smores and sharing the joy around. Really fab idea for those nights outside or those nights inside!

I contacted Sarah to see if she could provide a vintage afternoon tea for my mother's 90th birthday. It was super - she swapped out one of the cakes for mini pork pies as we already had a birthday cake planned, and tweaked the sandwiches to some of mum's favourites, and created a little afternoon tea for the youngest guests as well. It looked fantastic when laid out, and was tasty too. Highly recommend.

Sarah recently provided light refreshments for us following a family gathering. From start to finish she was very easy to work with, understood what we needed and provide a good spread of sandwiches and cakes for our guest on the day. Highly recommended.

We ordered an afternoon tea as a surprise present and they loved it. It looked lovely all boxed up ready to deliver. We ordered for 4 but it was for 3 people so Sarah adapted and put in quiche and other little bits instead . We were so glad we decided to order and can highly recommend Black Cat Catering. Superb.

Cannot recommend Sarah more. So helpful and accommodating! We had a back garden wedding reception with Black Cat Catering graze food. Our guests loved it, most went back for seconds and we still had left overs! Sarah met with us to discuss the food and requirements, she then visited the venue the day before to meet the dog and plan the layout. On the day she set everything perfectly and stayed on to replenish the food. She went above and beyond and we will be using her again!

We have used Black Cat Catering a number of times and we are never left disappointed. The food is delicious, the selection of different meats and cheeses is superb and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I bought a Mother's Day afternoon tea box for my mum and it was absolutely delicious! It was beautifully presented and the added posy of daffodils was a lovely touch. Filled with sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones, and cake, everything was so tasty and the portions were just right to keep us satisfied all afternoon! It was the perfect addition to a wonderful day - I'll definitely be ordering from here again!

Overall very pleased with service. Choice of "free from foods a little limited (but more than competitors). Some vegetable portions are small (barely one portion). Read the (very) small print on any vouchers though.. I tried to redeem one online & it was only available for telephone orders. I felt this was very misleading.

Well I phoned them and asked them for a brochure and it took 3 weeks to arrive and then to my surprise no details of what food they do only puzzles and cross words inside the brochure so I am very disappointed with this company and I will not be dealing with them no help at all I don't want a puzzle book thanks not everyone is on the Internet either to look at there rubbish website either. Not good for business got a another letter from Trowbridge lot but still no brochure showing there meals yet so disappointing from this company. Stop sending me pointless letters please.

If their drivers are anything to go by, better off avoiding this place like the plague. They seem to think it's alright to speed through 30limits at over 40 & 20 limits well over 30 almost hitting a couple of kids 2 days ago. Did phone to complain about this and was told someone would phone me back immediately. 2 days later and nothing so it has been put in place that if said driver decides to speed again, they will be stopped doing so to protect pedestrians. Disgusting attitude from a company that was thought to be alright. AVOID

Breaded Fish and Chips (304) Having regard to the limitations that reheating frozen food imposes, I have found the Wiltshire Farm Foods range a very acceptable and convenient option for a nonagenarian living alone. Not so 'Breaded Fish and Chips (304)'' however! ot long ago first sampled this meal. The fish was dry and devoid of taste. The limp chips clung nervously to one another as they were transferred from tray to plate and - of course - the meal was accompanied by the ubiquitous portion of peas as a second vegetable. Yes, peas are all right - but preferably with something like mashed potato to provide the 'cement' to facilitate the tedious process of transfer from plate to mouth. Thumbs up, generally, Wiltshire Farm Foods, but I doubt if many who ordered Breaded Fish and Chips would wish to re-order. I think it should be back to the drawing board in the case of this meal.

we buy these for my mother-in-law as she is 93 and she is blind so she can't cook any more so this is easier for her so far she is satisfied with them all but the sausages as they have the skins left on them and as for the elderly they don't have good teeth so it would have been better with skinless one's apart from that the food has been excellent for her.

We popped in for a coffee, mid Monday morning. Plenty of seats available. The black forest roulade tempted me, I was glad it did. It was delicious. The atmosphere was nice, though decor a little dated, but that's the charm of a tea room. I found the staff friendly and efficient. Prices are on the high side, but we would spend similar in well-known coffee chains, and that's without table service, so I thought acceptable. Whether I could afford lunch there.... I'll let you know next time I'm in town.

We loved the Afternoon Cream Tea & cakes, and the Tea was wonderful too. Very reasonable price. The service was good tho we did have to wait a while to be served,even tho we had booked previously. However, the table could have done with a good scrub as it was sticky on top.

I really dislike leaving negative reviews but this place used to be really really good. Having not been for several years, I was in Marlborough and decided to stop in for a full English breakfast. What an odd experience. The food was served approximately 5 minutes after ordering which immediately made me think it wasn’t cooked fresh. The beans were cold and had a slightly acidic aftertaste. Almost like too much vinegar but it wasn’t that flavour profile. Strange The mushrooms were rubbery and frankly inedible The bacon looked anemic, very fatty and wasn’t warm. Eggs and toast were fine but it’s fried eggs and toast, not sure how far you could mess that up. The hash brown was the standout issue for me, and I noticed the lady a few tables away had left hers entirely. It had almost a fragrant taste to it, like it had been sprayed with a perfume. It was so over powering I tasted it and immediately put it back on the plate. Zero atmosphere, no background music. In the toilets the ivy plant was obviously homesick as it was growing through the open window. The server was reasonably attentive, pleasant but didn’t give me the option to leave her a tip which I would have if offered. Overall a negative experience. Ownership must have changed since I was in there last as this was a world away from the home cooked quality food I had previously. The cakes selection looked good so perhaps it was just the morning kitchen staff that is the issue. It’s a real shame. As I’ve written this review it reminds me of the kind of experience one would have from visiting a motorway service station. You feel somewhat made a fool out for overpaying for an underwhelming experience. Questionable cooking, minimum spend on facilities maintenance. For over £20 for a breakfast and drink for 1 person I would not recommend making the trip there I really hope the owners see this and have a good internal look at their operation, appreciate this is just my experience but that ivy hasn’t made the decision to become a house plant overnight. That’s weeks /months of neglect which has gone from an overlooked checklist item to a conscious decision to ignore a very obvious problem. The breakfast here honestly used to be worth a 20 mile drive which we did regularly. It’s now on par with a little chef outside of smog filled petrol station.

Amazing please come food superb but what make this place even more special is the group of young people front of the house and invisible in the kitchen .As we went on Monday 17/03/2025 young man with retro sideburns and mustash he has a wicked sense of humour and is very sharp.Followed by all other professional and welcoming service.Kudos i really appreciate the kind and respectful humanity as intelligent customer service

I never ever order BLTs when I eat out so I don't know what came over me when I decided to select this from the menu but I don't regret a thing. I like my BLTs a certain way: the bacon needs to be crispy, or with zero fat around the edges, and always with toast, never bread. After I had ordered at the counter, I realised I had neglected to specify these details and braced myself for an overpriced soggy mess of a sandwich. No need... the BLT was perfect! Toasted bread and crispy bacon, with the fat still on but perfectly crisped to give the sandwich some depth of flavour. My only criticism was the fries weren't great because you could taste the oil they were cooked in was a little old but I could live with that when the BLT was so delicious. I've given the atmosphere 4 stars simply because I had to listen to a group of ramblers who were sitting near me moaning about the prices, and the noise of traffic passing was loud (I dined al fresco) but inside it looked cosy and calm. (The ramblers did also comment on how excellent the service was so they weren't all doom and gloom. 😂) The service was impeccable; the servers were chirpy, polite and personable. A little expensive at £4 for a pot of tea for one, but hey, welcome to Marlborough. Sunny day, nice cup of tea, BLT al fresco, what a treat!

We each had the special cream tea which I thought, at £24.50 each was over priced. There were three levels. Four finger sandwiches on the bottom, fresh and quite tasty. A hot stodgy scone with just about enough cream and jam on the middle section and five tiny cakes on the top. It was too much so we asked for doggy bags. Two cheap flat pack boxes were left on the table for us to assemble, with difficulty as they were not really fit for purpose. The wooden table without a table cloth, had a number of ring stains probably, tea stains. My teapot was chipped. Our cups were placed, not on saucers, but on small side plates. My earl grey tea was excellent. While the staff were pleasant and tidy in their black tea shirts and black trousers, they were a little sloppy in their manner. There were two toilets for the ladies but one of them was “out of order”. Some gentle back ground music would have been nice. We have not been to these tea rooms for about twenty years. We will not be coming again.

I had the goats cheese salad and it was absolutely delicious. My husband had the blt which came with chips. Obviously i pinched one as they looked great, nice big chunky size and tasted lovely. Parking can be difficult as it gets very busy but we were lucky to get a space just outside. We dined inside. Service good although they forgot the sugar for my husband's coffee so just a 4, otherwise would have been 5. Not cheap but good value.

Having waited 45 minutes for our afternoon tea, it wasn’t really worth the wait. The staff seemed very harassed & weren’t at all friendly. The original server didn’t smile or interact & it clearly looked like she didn’t want to be there. The afternoon tea isn’t as good as it used to be & definitely isn’t worth the money if you pay the full price. Thankfully we had a promotional offer which softened the blow. The coffees were nice but the food was very mediocre. Not sure if they were short staffed today but the tables weren’t being cleared very quickly. Overall not the most enjoyable experience.

2 stars for good service and a very nice tea! Something has changed recently in this chain to the point that I loved it and now I wouldn’t recommend. Cake sizes are very small now and I mean very small - half the size they used to be. Coffee good but small again. I don’t think is worth the money we spent... cheers

I came here today with my family for our family lunch. We just received a 30 pounds voucher to use in store or online unfortunately the front friendly staff was not so friendly today, rude attitude. Especially a blond girl with glasses. They told me I can’t use my voucher here. She didn’t want to call the office or to speak with a manager. I am tel disappointed about that. We really like Patisserie V . So I spend 35 pounds for our lunch. Thank you

Unfortunately it has gone downhill massively this year; we used to love it but will definitely not be returning anymore. I ordered a croque monsieur and this is what arrived…it didn’t even have any cheese in it, which I questioned, and the waitress said that’s how it comes (even though the menu says a ham and cheese toastie covered in cheese, and a croque monsieur is this as standard). The one slice of ham didn’t cover the bread and the crusts were so stale they were like sawdust. And it was about £10. My husband ordered a breakfast skillet but they said they were out of skillets, and a festive gingerbread latte but they were out of gingerbread syrup. The whole place was filthy, there’s no longer table service, and the waitress wasn’t friendly. It was also freezing cold as it is next to the outside play area, I know that’s not their fault but everyone was sitting in their coats and I haven’t had to do that before. The one positive is that the team member on the till was shocked when I took my plate of food up to them and immediately gave me a refund (I’ve never sent food back before in my life, but it was so bad that the couple next to us said excuse me you should really get your money back which reassured me I wasn’t being over the top). Such a shame.

Thought we would venture out, the Swindon Outlet was very quiet 22/12/2020. Sign of the times. We called into the Patisserie Valerie. Normally a place well known for its cream teas and cakes. We thought we'd try a good old fashioned English traditional breakfast. Food was good, not piping hot but tasty. Service was helpful and quick. Just a small quibble.... the crockery is getting tired, cracked glaze on cups and tea pots. I would also question their washing up as both cups had tea rings in them. Otherwise a pleasant lunch, well presented.

Dirty spoons and chairs. They gave us plastic spoons instead of metal ones to cakes. Coffee was disgusting, you can't drink it, the worst ever. Cakes tastes good :)

I recently visited Kaspa's and ordered the White Choco Indulgence dessert. According to the menu, all waffles are served with a choice of soft serve, whipped cream, custard, or pouring cream. When I asked if I could get a combination of soft serve, whipped cream, and pouring cream, I was told that I could only choose one. This was confusing and disappointing since the menu implies that multiple options are available. I've visited other Kaspa's locations in London and received all the options without any issue. While the staff were friendly, they denied my request, which left me dissatisfied. I requested if I could at least get chocolate ice cream instead of soft serve, and thankfully, they accommodated that. Additionally, the waffle itself was a letdown. Although the waffle base was freshly made, the white chocolate flakes and sauce were too thick and solid, making them difficult to stick to the strawberries or the waffle. They came off in chunks, which was not enjoyable. The strawberries, however, were fresh and added a nice touch. Overall, this experience did not meet my expectations based on previous visits to other Kaspa's locations. I hope the management can address these issues to ensure a more consistent and satisfying experience for customers.

My experience at Kaspers tonight was very poor and the desert was still frozen like it has never been cooked. You would think being a desert place would be nice smooth and melting in your mouth and therefore this 1 star is for the frozen chocolate and burnt donuts and the cold crepe. The better thing from this experience was the drinks. I will never be returning.

Came here in the weekday for the summer holidays. As it was quiet the food came out very quick and professional. Even if they have a hygiene rating of 3/5. 2x kids waffle sandwich with different toppings. A Belgian crepe, 2 hot drinks and some cakes. Everything was nice except the following. The carrot cake was slightly dry and personally not enough carrot to be called carrot cake. The mocha had an artificial taste which is probably down to the chocolate. Personally don't like the cookies and cream ice-cream as it tastes like soap but I think it is American style. And the bubblegum sauce isn't like from the ice-cream van. It's very artificial tasting. The customer service was ok. And polite. Not a horrible experience. But for the price would or liked it nicer

Avoid waste of time and money. Placed a £35 order and was missing the waffle and choc sauce i only received the cheesecake and milkshake. Placed it through just eat and have called up the store to ask where it is and they have said its not even made and im going to have to wait until theres a driver available now and ive already waited 45 minutes and called them up its still not ready so someone missed out on their dessert while the rest of us ate. The waffle was around £14-£15 of the order too.

Really poor. Waited absolutely forever for our take-away order, staff are nonchalant and rude, many tables are dirty, counters and floor of serving area are a mess with bin behind counter overflowing 😞

Yum! Yum! Yum! So glad to see Rays back open and doing so well! I got a Rum & Raisin scoop and Triple Chocolate scoop, and my partner got a Chocolate Hazelnut scoop and Banoffee scoop… all 4 were absolutely delicious! Great service too!

Visited yesterday at 5.35 PM, had some ice cream but denied siting at the tables as it was past 5.30 which I think is ridiculous. Had to eat ice cream outside of the shop as we came on our bicycles. I can't see the reason why the owner wouldn't allow people to eat their ice cream in the shop at the table because time of the day. For me me shop should open not half open. Won't be returning since staff / owner doesn't really care about their customers.

Unfortunately the usual great ice cream was a big let-down today, Rays need to find freezers that can cope with hot weather. Maybe if all the ice-cream offerings are slushy you need to stop serving?

Awful, disappointing coffee which cost £3 and was scalding hot from a machine. Can not recommend. The only saving grace is the lemon tart which is the sole reason for my visiting this bakery, as they are exquisite, so that I can recommend. Overall, nice place with a good selection but I was massively disappointed with this coffee, it was foul. You can actually see how weak and pathetic it is in the picture, please for the love of all that is good in this world, PLEASE stop serving people this sort of pitiful excuse for a coffee when you have such quality baked goods to pair it with, it makes no sense.

Lovely bakery / cafe. A huge selection of baked goods from sandwiches and pies to cakes and pastries, all freshly made. They also have hot drinks to takeaway or you can sit in their cafe area. Excellent

Good selection of sweet pastries, cakes and cookies, as well as savory items such as quiches, pies and breads. The chicken and mushroom pie had a buttery, flaky crust, however the flavor lacked in taste and it was not very hot when served. The bacon quiche was cold despite asking them to make it hot and the filling was nothing special. Their Bakewell tart was delicious, very nutty and soft! The traditional short bread was crisp, buttery and melted in the mouth.

Food was decent, bread is usually very nice. But it's very overpriced. A breakfast roll, 1 bit of re heated bacon with 2 sausages again re heated cost 3.75 then added another rasher of bacon put it over 4 quid. Over priced and pushy staff but nice food. Coffee wasn't available either. Go expecting good food but you'll spend over a tenner for a cold drink a coffee and a pastry...

Fantastic and their reputation is thoroughly deserved. Especially the savoury, freshly baked items.

Only stopped by in this little town for some food next door and stopped here on the way out and had an amazing biscoff donut. £2.20 and was generous size and tasted great. Friendly staff too and loads of options.

Staff very impatient to serve you, even when there's nobody else in the bakery, the 2 ladies just wanted to get back to their chat I guess? Everything looked so nice from the window, but unfortunately, the hot pasty I purchased was almost cold, and the cake, so dry & almost had a stale taste, I did expect better quality from a Reeves Bakery, but I think their standards are going down hill in most of their branches, I don't think they care anymore!

I've got to be honest, the hot chocolate looked very very light in colour and tasted very very weak..... Sat in here almost on our own for 30 minutes before working out that we actually had to order at the table rather than having a waitress or waiter...... Let's be honest, they only have one thing to do. Serve coffee, ice cream and puddings. You would have thought they would have a more snappy service and a happy attitude at the till....... Answer bringing my hot chocolate to the table. It would slam down with such force that after the chocolate covered the table. See pictures...... I really couldn't recommend this place at all.

Walked through the door to a sign advising wait to be seated - my friend and I stood for a good 2+ mins. The servers were in and out of the kitchen, locking eyes with us but not one acknowledgement. We approached the counter, again locking eyes with the employees to no avail. We seated ourselves, had to find menus covered in Ice cream from a dirty table and decided what we wanted. Approached the counter a second time when we were ready to order, stood there another 2 minutes with employees wandering around, locking eyes with us and ignoring us - at this point we’ve been in the establishment almost 10 minutes and not one person working there has said hello or even smiled - I’d like to add it wasn’t busy at all, perhaps they had a few online orders but maybe 2/3 sets of customers that were sat down and already eating. I had to catch one of the servers by approaching her and saying hello loudly to finally be acknowledged. She was very standoffish and rude, she was clearly irritated to be taking our order. We paid over £20 for a stack of pancakes and a set of minis with toppings. I could’ve let all of this go if the food was decent but I’m sorry to say it wasn’t at all. The same woman that took our order came to our table with our plates, she didn’t say one word, practically threw my friends food at her and walked away. We both had a few mouthfuls and agreed it wasn’t nice - the pancakes were still very doughy, to the point I could roll it up into a ball. The same woman walked past our table and we let her know it was raw and we weren’t enjoying it, I politely asked if we could have a refund and just leave it - she said she’d ask. Another woman came out and told my friend she couldn’t have a refund as she’d eaten her strawberries and cream (though the entire base of doughy pancakes was still there), she said I could have one. I joined the two women at the counter again where she arranged the refund - still not one word spoken to me, I understand perhaps they may have had a rough day, it happens to all of us, but when they spoke in their own language and had a laugh together whilst processing my refund as I’m stood directly in front of them - I realised they were able to smile - just not at their customers ! Funny that. She was incredibly short with me for the remainder of our interaction - I decided I’d let her know our experience wasn’t pleasant from the get go, she uttered “ok”, handed me cash and walked away. Won’t be returning!

Absolutely appalling!! Wouldn’t return even if it was the last place to eat on earth. We ordered through ubereats. HALF of our order never turned up. One of the items we ordered was the chocolate COVERED strawberries but I kid you not, a small drizzle around the plastic cup was all I was given for £7!!!! I can buy two large punnets of strawberries from the supermarket for that (Pics attached). We ordered a biscoff cheesecake that came FROZEN. The only slightly decent thing was the pancakes but even then I wouldn’t say it’s worth the price. Overall so disappointed, Ubereats gave us a refund of £8 which doesn’t even cover the cost of the missing items. Couldn’t even get hold of them to call and say about the missing items, as the phone number on the website doesn’t exist!! Please do not go here and waste your time. I am livid.

I have been here 3 times now and always extremely slow service. We were the first ones in the other day and took nearly 25mins just for 2 milkshakes which did not even have everything in them advertised. Cookie dough had been over microwaved and was rock solid in the middle. Also they advertise they open at 11 but do not start serving until 11.30 no mention of this outside or on the website but people coming in after us was getting food before half past! Toilets were grim and the cleaning rota was dated 2 weeks ago. Sometimes they decide to wear hair nets while preparing food sometimes they don't. Staff could do with more customer service training. The place is abit cramped you feel like your sat on top of other people but it is a small place and very popular because the food is rather tasty!

Waffles were huge, staff friendly but perhaps a little inexperienced (it's still quite a new shop). Went at a fairly quiet time so didn't have to wait for a table. Menu is huge, plenty to choose from,wood go again.

We have ordered a number of cakes from Rubydoocakes from 2-3 tier party cakes for children and adults, of varying designs, to cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, doughnuts and recently indulgent brownies. Louise has always made these to the highest standard and put her own flair into their design resulting in delicious and beautiful creations which are always the centre of attention. The prices are very reasonable and the flavours to choose from are vast. She was also able to make them gluten and dairy free on request which was extremely helpful for my nephew who is gluten intolerant and the cakes were still just as delicious. Looking forward to ordering again in future!

My mum ordered my wedding cake from Ruby doo. Completely exceeded my expectations. Gorgeous cake and absolutely delicious (wish I had taken a picture of the red velvet inside). Service was fantastic and included travel to the venue and cake set up. If you need a cake for an occasion this is the place to go!!

I ordered another special occasion cake from Rubydoocakes for my husbands 60th birthday - my daughters incredible 30th birthday cake had been my previous order. I was so happy with the cake that arrived! Lou had interpreted all the information I'd given to her regarding my husband in such an original and touching way to decorate the cake that we were all amazed and in awe of her skill. The cake also tasted delicious, it was moist, light and flavoursome. Absolutely perfect.

Beautiful little cafe, in a really nice location. Good parking. Great service and absolutely banging brownies. Lunch offer is a really good price for the quality and amount of food you get. A big selection of sweet treats, makes it difficult to decide. Highly recommend the salted caramel 😋

Very tasty veggie breakfast and very ample portions! We were stuffed so had to get our brownies to go. The cafe is nice and bright with fun pops of colour, plus nice views out to the countryside. Staff were lovely and service was prompt. It’s a bit tucked away but definitely worth the trip. We’ll be returning to try out the lunch menu next.

Lovely food, big portions and freshly made. Great for dogs as the outside seating has a big fenced off field. Staff were lovely and efficient. Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was nice and quiet to our surprise! Will definitely be returning for their breakfast menu☺️ *gluten free friendly*

What a lovely find! Beautiful views in the sunshine and the most amazing cooked food! Cannot wait to try more of the menu! My rating at 4 stars is purely because or the wait for the food! I was told after we ordered and hot drinks provided there was a 20 minute wait that seemed more like 40 minutes. A little disappointed as I managed 2 cups of tea in that time but when it arrived, it was delicious!

I've been here a couple of times and it is truly excellent. The food and drinks are fairly priced and cater for lots of different diets (including vegan). There's a great selection of hot drinks as well as both sweet and savoury food. Most recently, I had one of the Christmas specials and whilst it was all delicious, the gravy was the best gravy I've ever had. That may sound like a tiny thing but it was *that* good.

Great little cafe. Was busy so expected a 20 minute wait on food. My only criticism is the drinks process could be streamlined. Waited 20 minutes for a coffee and milkshake. That being said, zero complaints when everything arrived. The New York deli bagel 🥯 was superb

Great little cafe but tucked away just outside Foxham. Plenty of seating inside and out, dog friendly and plenty of outside space. Staff very friendly, great service and a good selection of breakfast, brunch and lunch options. Not to mention the amazing selection of brownies for sale, we had a Turkish delight and a milky way brownie that were delicious. Plenty of parking for customers hopefully return again soon👍 Only downside is that it is in the middle of nowhere and not somewhere you would just come across but we'll worth making the effort. Good selection of vegetarian and vegan options.

I had a brilliant experience at Abe’s Kitchen in Swindon. The food was absolutely delicious – freshly made, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with care. The menu offers a great variety of options, and everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The staff were warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Service was quick and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy – perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. It’s great to see a local business putting so much heart into what they do. Tried the "Summer Cocktails" by Karty along with Abe's non-veg platter today. Absolutely loved it! Thoroughly enjoyed trying 5 different cocktails recommended by Karty. And to support that, the mouth watering mutton fry and chicken lollipop couldn't have been better!

They accepted my last minute birthday cake request and made it so well. I really appreciate the team for doing it and for making the birthday special. The cake was so delicious and fresh. Thank you. Would definitely recommend and refer Abe's Cakes.

The menu offerings were top-notch and few standout dishes like Mutton curry, Biriyani and fresh Sugar cane juice really caught my attention. It is one of the places where quality and taste meets your expectations. The food is very close to your home style and the consistency of the taste is fabulous. Cakes and sweets are the icing on the top. Have been to this place numerous times and every time I have enjoyed the food and the friendliness.

A few months ago, we popped in to get an ice cream. Appart from the lady behind the counter not knowing what she was doing (messed up a cepe 3 times and couldn't scoop ice cream) it was nice. However, the past few times it has been closed with no explanation, with Google saying its open?.

Great little independent ice cream and crepe place. A fantastic addition to the high street, staff are very friendly. We went there for Mother’s Day and they were doing free ice cream for mums! What a lovely idea - thank you! Highly recommend

Very, very good ice cream at reasonable UK prices. Maybe it was just my choice of flavour in that I didn't enjoy the blackcurrant cream as much as I hoped, but I'll definitely try another when back in the city.
