Overall, you don't want to miss out this place!

Simply the best, very welcoming staff, delicious ice-cream and sorbet. A little more expensive than the usual place, but that is the usual Orvieto price tag. Our toddler was delighted with the Strawberry but you have to try the Creme Brulé one of the best new ice cream flavours I've ever tried! Cones are nice and crunchy and fresh too.

This is the best gelateria I’ve experienced. The selection, flavours, staff and prices - superb. The location for enjoying your ice cream outside is not ideal but it doesn’t matter cause when you get the ice cream, you don’t care about the cars and piss alley. The ice cream makes everything nice. I’ve been there several times and I try new flavours each time and never been disappointed. Not once has a scoop lacked fantastic flavour. But in a way that doesn’t make you sugar-sick. It’s just comforting, generous and authentic. First time I asked Andrea to pick 3 scoops of their special ones. He gave me 1 scoop of canolo siciliano. By the looks I’d never pick it but it has become a favourite. I think the mother-son staff are lovely. Their warm welcome goes well with ice cream. They make the experience friendly and pleasant even when it’s packed (which it often is and understandably so).

Really good gelatto!! Very creamy and flavorful! They have plenty of flavors to choose from as well as a good selection of toppings. I chose strawberry which was very sweet, my wife tried the pistachio (I really loved that one too), my daughters both tried Nutella but it was just that and not gelatto, and we also tried coffee which tasted just like espresso! If you're in the area, definitely stop by but know what you want beforehand!!

If this review was just for the ice-cream it would be 1 out of 5 but the position is nice and the service super friendly, you can also use the tables across the street. But really, you should try to plan on having ice-cream somewhere else!

Conveniently located just a couple of blocks down the street from the Scalo terminus of the funicular (cable car) that runs up and down between Orvieto proper on the plateau and Orvieto Scalo (lower city) this is the best bakery and lunch stop we've found in the Orvieto environs. We often meet friends there for a glass of wine and a snack in the evening, or stop in when we're shopping in Scalo.
