We dined at Trio last night and will for sure be back again soon. The restaurant is beautiful, service is incredible and the food is off the charts. The presentation is amazing and ingredients are so well thought out and flavours are perfect. When you first sit down you are given homemade bread with butter which is to die for. The staff who took care of us were so welcoming and helpful. Ben is so knowledgeable with wines and how they pair with the food. Presenting each dish with every ingredient and taste. I loved this restaurant and will come back soon and bring our friends. What a great place . Thank you Trio for a great experience!

We hosted our 25 person private wedding reception at Trio and it was everything we hoped for. From the first conversation with Benoit, planning was easy and we were so excited about our menu options. The food, as expected, was delicious and beautifully presented. The kitchen did an amazing job, especially with accommodating many different allergies. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and we were able to bring in our own decor and music. The service was outstanding, from canapés to dessert, with everyone going above and beyond. Benoit especially deserves a huge thank-you for his attention to detail and care he put into our day. Our guests are still talking about how special the night was. Thank you.

15/10!! Wednesday night themed tasting menu at King Street Trio Uptown was beyond amazing. Definitely the BEST dining experience I’ve had in KW since I arrived 7 years ago. The food was mind blowing and the service was top tier courtesy of Benoit and his incredible team. Everything went above and beyond our expectations. Photos are from July 2 Spanish themed night. The wine pairings were stellar. Think about this place for your upcoming special occasions. 💓

From the minute you walk in, Benoit is continuously and undoubtably the most kind, gracious and empathetic host! Benoit’s wine selection is tailored to your needs AND affordable. Atmosphere is comfortable yet clean and inspiring. Paul and I eat out - at very nice restaurants - all around the world. The quality, care and thought that goes into each dish is cherished in 1. Presentation brings appetite 2. Flavour build. The food is amazing and it should be considered by Michelin. Perhaps more important to us though is the atmosphere and kindness of Benoit and the team. It’s the best restaurant in the region - by a long way. Benoit obviously loves his profession and on top of being so professional he creates a unique, personal experience that makes every evening delicious, glamourous, romantic and exciting.

I tried their Singapore Night menu this Wednesday and was very disappointed with the food. The appetizer salad tasted okay, but the fried tofu in it was cold and had no texture. The lamb skewers also had decent flavor, but the portion was extremely small. At first, I thought the small portion of lamb skewers was because the main course would be more substantial. However, when the main course arrived, I was thoroughly disappointed. It was just a few buttered shrimp, some boiled rice noodles with an incredibly bland sauce, and a single boiled egg. Can a boiled egg and some boiled rice noodles really be considered part of a fine dining experience? This main course felt so careless and completely unworthy of the “fine dining” label. Desert was okay. I originally came because of Trio’s reputation, but I left extremely disappointed. We spent nearly 300 CAD for two people, and honestly, I feel like I could have gotten a much better meal at any Asian restaurants. Maybe their regular menu is better, but as a first-time visitor, this experience was truly disappointing.

Stopped in for an impromptu Friday night dinner on the recommendation of a local friend, and we’re so glad we did. We were warmly welcomed by staff and seated right away despite not having a reservation which was a great start to the evening. The menu is on the smaller side, but it’s well-curated, with unique dishes that feel intentional and refined. They recently swapped out their Wagyu steak for striploin due to the ongoing trade-related sourcing concerns. Disappointing as this may be it was refreshing to see a restaurant make thoughtful, transparent choices like that. Service throughout the night was excellent. Our server, Natalie, was friendly, knowledgeable, and had great recommendations. To start, we shared the Roasted Pork Belly with chimichurri, radish, and apple. It had a nice balance of sweet and savoury, though I would have loved a touch more sweetness to offset the richness, maybe an apple compote would’ve done the trick. Still, a solid 4/5. My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass with peas, asparagus, and fennel in a beurre blanc sauce. The fish was wild, not farmed (a major plus), and very fresh. Beautiful textures and flavours, though it leaned a bit salty for our taste. Not enough to ruin the dish, but enough to notice. A well deserved 4.5/5. I went with the Iberico Pork (Chop), paired with red pepper jam, Brussel sprouts, and sauce vierge. Cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. The sprouts even had a hint of sweetness, which paired nicely. Only small issue was the amount of oil left on the plate. It worked out for me since I used the remaining focaccia to soak it up, but worth noting. 4.5/5. Speaking of focaccia, WOW! Probably the best I’ve had. Fresh, warm, crunchy crust, and incredibly flavourful. Served with a side of cream cheese with a touch of honey, and black pepper. It was just a fantastic sweet/savoury combo but not even needed since the focaccia was amazing by take! Easy 6/5. Worth going back for this alone. We ended with the Chocolate Crémeux with pistachio crumble, feuilletine, and pistachio ice cream. The cremeux was almost too rich on its own, but perfectly balanced once you get everything in one bite. Creamy, crunchy, not overly sweet. It was an ideal way to finish the meal. 5/5. They were kind enough to bring a palette cleanser after we had finished everything. Ours was a hazelnut biscotti. It was a nice, crunchy way to end our evening while waiting for the cheque. Overall, this place lives up to the hype. Their current 4.7-star rating is spot on. Great food, warm atmosphere, and genuinely thoughtful service. We’ll definitely be back.

Wine tasting meal plan all selected by the chef and worth everything. Delish doesn’t begin to describe the combinations of unique flavours that I would never have selected on my own. And the wine!!!! And the service!!!! Omg every single person working together for the tables not just one server. Like an exquisite ballet of a well organized team. Can’t say enough about our experience there. They get better every year. Highly recommend.

Lisboa Bakery & Grill was pretty good overall. We tried their white chicken dinner, dark chicken dinner & Portuguese tarts, and they were tasty. The fries were especially delicious. However, I think they could work on their customer service and the ambiance a bit.

Food was great, we had the 1/4 chicken dinner with rice and potatoes. It was delicious! Of course, malassadas for dessert! Can't wait to come back again.

Stopped in for lunch and had a wonderful meal with my family. Very welcoming environment with delicious food. It was busy with many people ordering take out. We decided to sit and eat. Our server Patricia was very friendly. Great place to stop and eat if you are in the KW area.

Just had an amazing steak sandwich at 🇵🇹 Lisboa Bakery & Grill here in Kitchener and wow… it seriously hit the spot 🤤🥪 The steak was tender and flavorful, and the fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and onions complimented it perfectly 🥬🍅🧅. The price was fair, the taste was on point, and honestly—it was exactly what I needed. I wasn’t feeling 100% this morning (migraine creeping in 😖), but their fresh hot coffee ☕️ was a lifesaver and took the edge off so I could carry on with my day 🙌. What I didn’t realize is they also have online ordering for takeout & delivery 🚗💨 … and even catering for bigger family events 🎉🍴. That’s a game changer for me. Went for breakfast. under $4.50 for a breakfast sandwich on a fresh bun, and under $8 for a full egg breakfast with delicious home fries. The value of their breakfast was fantastic and even with drinks and some pastries, it was under $30 for 2 people to dine. Wonderful staff and amazing food! Will certainly be back!

Amazing place to eat, drink, relax, shop and watch soccer. The food is delicious, they have beer and coffee, you can buy groceries or sit and eat sweets. A great place to visit overall. A must try if you are in the area and if you are eating make sure to try the famous sauce.

Best bakery in KW area without a doubt!!! Absolute delight to visit every Saturday morning! Amazing sourdough breads and croissants! Super friendly staff! Almond croissant, potato rosemary sourdough, flax raisin walnut sourdough are some of my favourites.

Best danish I’ve had in my life by a large margin. The pastry was more flaky and buttery than most croissants, the blueberries were fresh and flavourful, and the cream cheese was fantastic. Genuinely blew me away and improved my whole morning

Amazing place, the croissants are just so addictive. Not sure what’s in there. They operate at limited hours so check for it and go. Only walk ins and take outs. Didn’t take any pictures but I recommend trying double chocolate croissant and almond chocolate.

Their pastries are so good. I like a good croissant and they make them top notch. Recommended as the best place to get a good baguette.

An excellent bakery specializing in bread and pastry. I focus my reviews on the pastries. I had 4 pastries: A Croissant, a chocolate au pain, a blueberry danish and a lemon curd twist. All four pastries were notable for their excellent lamination Golden Hearth specializes in super crunchy flaky pastry and it was the joy of each of the pastries. If I had one critique it would be that they need to be more generous with the excellent fillings to balance things out. Both the lemon curd twist and blueberry danish had delicious punchy filling, but the filling was confined to such a small part of the pastry that it was somewhat lost. The croissant was excellent, and the chocolate au pain was my favorite of the four I tried. A few details to note about the shopping experience: customers do not have access to the store, but order from the front door. I am not sure if this is a COVID protocol or is the standard set up of the bakery. The staff were attentive and efficient but it means you should expect a line up outside, which can be a challenge on days with inclement weather. Though both richly deserve their four star ratings I inevitably have to compare Golden Hearth to Sabletine in the debate of who makes the best Croissant in town. My vote has to stay with Sabletine whose croissants were just as flakey but also a bit richer.

Get this - my wife was going through some old purses to donate when she found an ancient Golden Hearth Bakery gift certificate that she'd gotten ages ago, and forgotten about for a decade. Honest. Anyway, what the heck - we walk down there, show them the certificate with full expectation they would deny such an antique. The man at the front counter was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and despite having worked there seven years, had never seen such a certificate. But there was no problem! They honoured it without a quibble. So we got some sourdough bread and it was just amazing. I can highly recommend this place both for its delicious products and its amazing commitment to customer service.

Winnie's has been a go to for my daughter who has Celiac. We have only purchased their desserts and she LOVES them. Maybe one day we will try some of their other food items. If you are looking for a CAKE you need to pre-order. They have various flavors available.

Winnie’s is the best! As someone who doesn’t necessarily need gluten free options, I would still choose to eat here. The food is so delicious you don’t even notice it’s gluten free. My husband feels the same and he is a tough critic! They do have dairy free options as well which is great for me. From sweet to savory they have it all. I even got an amazing cake made for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Toronto that was not only delicious but so cute and fun!

Winnie’s made our wedding cake and it was PERFECT! We were looking for something very specific and simple and they couldn’t have done a better job. We had so many compliments on the design and also how tasty it was, everyone couldn’t believe it was gluten-free, too! Thanks Winnie’s for making this so perfect for us and being so thoughtful throughout the process!

Delicious fresh baked gluten free bread, the grocery store cannot compare. Cinnamon raisin loaf was fabulous but the flax loaf was right up there with the gluten filled options in my opinion. So light and airy with a great chew. I love you can place your order ahead of time and that they will slide the loaves for you. I had one of the hot pizza buns and it was to die for. Can't wait to try everything else on my next visit

I got a box of goodies from Winnie’s off of Too Good 2 Go, also not needing to be gluten free. Let me tell you, absolutely delicious! Even being a day after I picked up desserts are still fresh. Absolutely recommend. Keep up the great work !!! Will be a repeat customer 😁

We loved working with LenJo for our wedding cake and cupcakes in February! Lenore has such an infectious energy, made time to meet with us even though she was in the middle of a huge cookie order during Christmas, and delivered on some really great cupcakes and cake! The price was right, the quality was great, and the pickup of our order and the cupcake stands we rented was all flawless and on time. Highly recommend!

This is our go to bakery. We have gotten two birthday cakes from her and she also did our wedding. The cakes are Beautiful and taste amazing. We also loved that this was a fully bespoke cake with amazing customer flavours and options for dietary needs. Lenore is also as sweet to work with as her cakes. She is creative and attentive to detail and also very much a pro in thinking of all the small details needed for a wedding cake

The 20-minute phone consultation I had with Lenore for our wedding cake plans was one of the most pleasant calls I've ever had. That lead to trusting LenJo Bakes with our wedding cake(s), one of the best choices we made for our wedding. It was delicious, the options wonderfully creative, and the service fantastic. Lenore worked with me on the custom idea I was hoping for (3 mini cakes vs 1 large) and helped guide in the design process to exactly what we were looking for including our favours (French macarons). The entire process was great, including the set-up at our event. And we continued to enjoy the cake 1 year later, on our 1st anniversary vacation - we even shared some with the flight attendants! Hands down would recommend LenJo Bakes.

My husband and I got married over Labour Day weekend this year and we wanted just a small cake for the cake cutting since our caterin included dessert for guests. Lenore really delivered! I had a quick consultation and she was so friendly and helpful during our call. Although our order wasn't anything huge or extravagant, she made us really feel special with her service. She got the aesthetic just right from the photos I shared and our consultation and the cake was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend coming here for any of your custom cake needs. I also stop by the bakery regularly and everything from the lattees to the desserts to the breakfast pies never disappoints.

Ordered a first bday cake with a bee theme and they whipped up this masterpiece. Cake was delicious and light and design was amazing!

I very much enjoyed my lunch here at the Cambridge Mill today. My Waitress Emma was excellent and created a positive and seamless dining experience. She is very friendly, efficient and really gave us lots of attention as she checked on us making sure we enjoyed our food and kept our waters topped right up. The food was delicious. I recommend the Burger! AAA beef, iceberg lettuce, caramelized onions, smoked cheddar. I also enjoyed the Parmesan Fries. The scenery of the water is beautiful and the restaurant was nicely decorated with pumpkins. A lovely restaurant and i will be back again soon.

I visited Cambridge Mill resturant with my friend and her mother. It was an excellent experience, I am a regular customer and every time I go I like it more. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are all showing hospitality. They are well trained, and polite. Even there was a mistake in taking the order, but they fixed the order in a quick way making sure that my order came quickly right on time with the other orders. Highly recommend

We celebrated our 11th consecutive anniversary at this special restaurant, the very place where we were originally married. It’s become our yearly tradition, but this year’s celebration was especially memorable. Chris, our server, was truly exceptional - attentive in every detail, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout the evening. The food was nothing short of perfect, with each dish expertly prepared and beautifully presented. A special thanks to Shaylin, whose fantastic dessert recommendation was the perfect finishing touch to our meal. Her friendly visits and infectious laughter added warmth and fun to our night. All in all, it was our best visit yet. We’re already looking forward to returning and celebrating here again next year!

I get what all the hype is about. I had the kale salad which was phenomenal and the roasted beets which was good but you have to really like beets. Both options were vegan. My friend had the burrata which they enjoyed. The portion sizes were also huge which I wasn’t expecting.

This is one of my new favorite places to eat at. Interior is lovely and the view is amazing. Food was really high quality - probably my the best of any mills I’ve been to in Ontario. The steak and pasta were so good, and the drink also. Highly recommend this if you are looking for views, ambience, clean modern space with a touch of history, and amazing food - particularly steak.

Celebrated my brother and my newest sis-in-law's wedding recently at Cambridge Mill. The food was absolutely delicious, served hot and efficiently, and we felt truly spoiled. The staff, led by MC and Carlos, were kind, professional, and never missed a beat with ensuring that the celebration was exactly that and stress-free. As a guest, it was a wonderful time and I only heard praise from the happy couple about their big day and the preparations leading up to it. Bravo and thanks for such beautiful memories ❤️ Completely recommend you choose to celebrate all of the special moments with family here and to make the mundane special too with a visit!

Just a wonderful Sunday brunch in a beautiful setting with fantastic service and perfect food. We had a group of 10 with 4 kiddos under 8. Everyone found plenty of food they liked and it was always fresh and refreshed frequently. Our table overlooking the river was just perfect. Now, it is certainly expensive but if you can get past that issue, you will have a great experience.

We came here for a short vacation dinner, and the place was packed on a Friday evening. The patio was warmly lit with fire features, creating a cozy atmosphere, so we happily took a seat. The menu is diverse, offering everything from steak to burgers to poke bowls. We ordered the seafood risotto and the steak Diane—both were excellent. The risotto came loaded with lobster, clams, and shrimp, perfectly seasoned. The steak Diane was cooked medium to perfection, with mushrooms as the highlight. We upgraded to a truffle fries which was awesome. Portions were just right for the two of us with smaller appetites. Service was friendly, and the vibe was perfect for a Labor Day disconnect before the busy season kicks in. A wonderful way to wave goodbye to a memorable and fruitful summer.

Went with a friend for her birthday Labour Day Monday and it wasn't busy. Service was great we both had the Riviera Bowl and it was delicious. We also both had mojitos very refreshing and to top it off I had the coconut creme brulee and my friend had the chocolate peanut butter cake, both delicious. Service was great. It was a Monday night, ambience and company great. We will be back!

Great service, atmosphere and food as always! Hubby and I both had the filet, and both our steaks were cooked to perfection. Super excited to see some more plant based options on the menu, with an allergy to eggs and dairy, it can be really tricky to eat out so this is a game changer! Especially on the dessert menu so I could still enjoy something sweet for my birthday 🥰

Hosted a wedding shower here and service was top notch from start to finish. Communication was great throughout the planning process, and the room was set up beautifully. Servers Sonya M and Jen were expert servers, extremely helpful, the menu accommodated various food allergies and the facilities were accessible. Can’t say enough about how well this experience was, thanks to the amazing staff, from the initial enquiry, during setup and the actual party, to the time we left. Thanks to everyone at Charcoal Steakhouse for making this a memorable event for everyone involved! Definitely recommend considering Charcoal for future events!

We had an amazing dining experience at Charcoal Steakhouse! From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and attentive staff made us feel welcome. The menu has an excellent variety, but the steaks are definitely the highlight—cooked to perfection, tender, and packed with flavor. The sides complemented the meal beautifully, and the wine selection paired perfectly. Many vegan option too. The service was outstanding—our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and made great recommendations. The atmosphere is elegant yet comfortable, making it perfect for both special occasions and casual nights out. Reasonable rate . Affordable. Overall, Charcoal Steakhouse is truly one of the best spots in town for a high-quality meal and exceptional service. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a great steakhouse experience!

Amazing service by our waiter Caitlyn. She was a sweetheart, very attentive to our table and even helping out her coworkers. The food was fantastic, we had the beef wellington appetizer, very soft and moist. Cooked to perfection. My mom had the Bavarian dinner and myself was the Chicken Supreme. The pork was cooked and seasoned just right, vegetables still had bite, not mushy. Sauces complimented the dishes. The supreme was moist not dry. Very pleased with our first experience at charcoal. Would come again!

We had our wedding dinner reception here, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The team went above and beyond to make our night everything we dreamed of. Throughout the entire planning process, they were incredibly patient and helpful — with Nicole and Andreaa answering my many questions and making sure every detail was just right. On the night of our reception, everything ran so smoothly. The staff took amazing care of us and made sure my husband and I were comfortable and happy the whole evening. Every request we had was met with kindness and professionalism. The food, atmosphere, and service were all exceptional — our guests are still talking about how wonderful everything was! We’re so grateful to the entire team for making our special day so seamless and memorable. If it’s your first time here, you should know there are actually two locations of this bakery, one on West Avenue and the other on Ottawa Street. I found out from the staff that they’re owned by different people and operate independently. I’ve been to both and honestly prefer the West Avenue location. It has that cozy, local old-town bakery vibe that I really enjoy. The staff at both spots have always been nice and friendly, so no complaints there. That said, the Ottawa Street location does have the edge when it comes to variety, you’ll find way more pastries to choose from here. One thing you definitely shouldn’t miss is their giant croissants. They don’t look or taste like a traditional French croissant, but they’re fresh, tasty, and have their own unique texture. We also tried a few other pastries, and everything was good. Another difference is payment; West Avenue is cash only, while Ottawa Street accepts cards as well, which is more convenient. Prices at both locations are a bit on the high side, but I don’t mind paying a little extra to support small, local businesses. I’ve attached some photos of their pastries, and while I’ll happily stop by either location, my personal favorite is still the West Avenue spot, it just has a unique atmosphere that makes it feel special.

City Cafe is one of my favorite bakeries. Always a solid choice based on quality of food and amazing staff. They are a cash only business and operate on an honor system. You select your food, drinks etc, add it up yourself (calculator supplied) and if you need change, just tell them how much you need. Most of the baked goods are done in house and the rest is mostly sourced locally. They serve Baden Coffee which is a great coffee, but I wished they carried Hissing Goose. Today I purchased a Montreal style sesame bagel and a chocolate croissant. Not much can beat a warm, fresh baked Montreal bagel. The toasted sesame seeds give the exterior a pleasant crispiness while the bagel itself has a soft, chewy inside. You can get jam, cream cheese etc but I prefer to eat it plain. Delicious! The chocolate croissant was light and flakey and the chocolate inside was soft and gooey. Another positive quality of the croissants is they don't go crazy with the powdered sugar. Eat in, take out and also have a dog friendly patio. Love this place. These 2 items were $4.50

I had a very disappointing and unsettling experience at City Café on Ottawa St. I went in to buy bread and a bagel. The price listed for a bagel was $1.50 and cream cheese was $0.50. I expected to pay $8 total, but was suddenly told it would be $8.50 because of a “dine-in” price even though I was leaving and not eating there. When I stepped out to get another dollar from my car, the owner actually followed me outside and confronted me, saying I was upsetting his employee. When I tried to go back in to pay, he pushed on the door to block me. He started asking where I was from and tried to justify the extra cost, but never gave me a clear reason. Apparently, just cutting the bagel and spreading cream cheese counted as dine-in. What bothered me most was how aggressive and intimidating the owner was. I honestly felt scared in that moment, like things could have escalated further. It’s not how any customer should be treated. The pricing is misleading, and the owner’s behavior was completely unprofessional and hostile. I won’t be coming back, and I’d warn others to be cautious about going here.

It is truly a fantastic place, perfect for on the go or a quick little stop for a delicious pastry or coffee. They offer both dine in and take out. You can pay in cash or with e-transfer, which makes things super easy when it comes to calculating how much you need to pay. It’s more of a pay what you can, which helps lots of people who are on tight budgets enjoy some amazing items made fresh either every week or every morning.

Such a cute little bakery! There’s always a fresh selection of baked goods on hand, and the coffee is excellent. The bakery is self-serve, where you either put cash into a box or send an e-transfer, but there’s always staff in the back in case you have any questions. It’s my new go to spot for a quick bite to eat.

Ownership has changed. Staff are different. Bagels are getting burned. There's a debit machine for some reason. More rules going up on signs. Slow on a long weekend Saturday morning. Feeling surveilled by someone who doesn't quite know what to do with the people who know how much their order costs, pay in exact cash, and leave. Vibes are off.

First time customer. Charming atmosphere. Kind and welcoming staff who were happy to help. They only take cash and you pay by putting the cash in the cash bin after self-serving your own drink. If you don’t have enough change, they let you pay the next time you come in and if you need to exchange change, I saw them help out quite a few customers with that :) I served myself a small coffee which was $2.25 and ordered tuna melt & coleslaw which was $11. The coffee was unfortunately not hot which is why I am knocking off a star, but the tuna melt was INCREDIBLE. Large portion of fresh bread with a crispy crust, gooey cheese, and excellently spiced. The pickle with the coleslaw was so good too! Tons of parking next to the pretty outdoor patio filled with flowers, and it is beside tons of thrift stores if you want to make a date out of your visit. I stayed back and did some work inside, which I enjoyed, but later went outside because it was way too warm inside. Overall definitely want to come back and try some sweets! I want to visit their other location too. Very homey. 🍵

Took my kids to Graffiti Market for lunch and we had a great first visit. The kids loved the interactive display tables where they could color and play games — such a fun touch! The food was excellent, and the kids’ meals included unlimited sodas and dessert, which they really enjoyed. My “Riskit for the Brisket” pizza was delicious. Overall, an awesome family-friendly spot with great food and atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Great digital dining experience! One of a kind , really. Love the Catalyst space and the fun you can have while you wait for the food to arrive. Highly recommend checking this out for the digital tables.

The food is great but we were specifically impressed with the customer service and staff knowledge about and attention to dietary requirements. The waitress who assisted us informed us of what dishes are certified halal and suggested a couple dishes for us. The manager, Dave, also came to check on our dietary requirements and was very knowledgeable about halal guidelines. My suggestion would be to add some halal meat dishes to the menu to cater to another demographic in the city as people like myself love dining here :) thank you for the great service, Dave and team!

The gluten free vegan margarita pizza was so good. I was so sceptical but it turned out delicious. I also got the strawberry lemonade iced tea and it paired nicely with the pizza. Our server Kendal was excellent and super friendly. 4 stars for the atmosphere becuase the music was a bit loud.

It was our very first experience at graffiti market as I heard it was a good place to eat.So I brought my kids to celebrate my Son’s birthday. First of all, after being seated at our table, our server, Maddy T came up to the table and robotically said what her name was without any positive energy or smile, very dry and uninterested. We placed our order and waited 25 minutes for our food as one of the orders was a pizza, understandably.( which was the only well prepared dish and tasted good). However, our other two dishes were pastas which were luke warm, like they had been prepared ahead of time and placed under the food warmer. My Gnocchi in a tomato sauce was terrible and tasted like the sauce had been poured out of a can, very watery and tasteless accompanied by blanched / boiled / sliced vegetables and the gnocchi itself had black burnt marks on them rather than golden brown. Absolutely disappointing. I further asked my server for some ground black pepper for my pasta, she comes back with a tiny pepper mill and places. It on the table and walks away without saying anything. Instead of offering to grind some, and showing interactive customer service. Inspite of the terrible service and mediocre food, I did leave a tip, to which I was having second thoughts about. Most likely to never revisit, except for the pizza. Overall, a very poor and disappointing dining experience.

Brilliant restaurant in Kitchener.First time here the food and service excellent, our server supper friendly, professional. The interactive table was amazing experience I had fun playing. Let me just start off by saying I used to love this restaurant. I was just here yesterday evening and was immediately greeted with issues. Number one our reservation we had for 5:45 was delayed and we had to wait until 6 PM to be seated. The front staff kept over booking and overtaking guests so much so that the kitchen and wait staff couldn’t keep up. Number two our server who was also the bartender was extremely rude to us, he made us feel like we were an annoyance the entire time and when we had questions about the menu and items he quote on quote said “ I don’t know it’s lemonade you pick “ he came over and checked on us once in the entire time and when I had issues with my meal I had to physically get up to get his attention. Number three, our food was raw and not cooked, given the circumstances you would think they would comp the whole bill, no I had to still pay for my salad and drink. I will never ever return here again and I highly suggest others from doing so. Terrible service and experience.

A huge thank you to Jessica for the stunning cake she made for my son's engagement party! The hiking theme, inspired by their engagement on the Beehive Trail, was brought to life beautifully with detailed figurines, a mountain, pine trees, and a “Beehive Trail” sign. The vivid colors and snowy backdrop added a lively touch. Not only was it visually amazing, but it tasted delicious too (the chocolate hazelnut)! Everyone was impressed, and it was the perfect surprise. Highly recommend Jessica for something truly special!

Me & my husband are huge sweet tooths and were hoping they would deliver in that department & they nailed it. We got a cake, cake pops, cookies & cupcakes!!! The theme was harry potter & they pulled through. We & our guest absolutely loved the designs but also enjoyed the desserts, there was absolutely nothing left! We got red velvet, vanilla/chocolate, carrots cake & cookies/cream. All the flavors were incredible, they were cooked to perfection & again the harry potter theme was nailed. Thank you so so much for making our wedding the sweetest day ever!!! I highly recommend either coming here for a sweet treat or even for your wedding and any other occasions.

Our wedding cake from The Cake Box was truly everything we dreamed of and more. They brought our vision of a vintage-style cake to life so beautifully — it looked like something straight out of a fairytale. It was the perfect finishing touch to our special day. If you haven’t tried their cupcakes you’re missing out. Every single flavour is delicious, and the staff are so friendly! It was an easy decision to have our wedding cake made here. The cake tasting box was a sweet touch (we loved every flavour of course), but went with a classic vanilla raspberry. Maeve was so helpful in arranging the pickup of the cake, and it was truly stunning! I sent a couple inspo photos with a rough idea and they nailed it. Can’t wait to order a smaller version every year for our anniversaries!

As a first time customer, we recently purchased a walk-in chocolate caramel cake (not pre-ordered) for a birthday. It was the perfect size and felt special. The cake was fudgey (almost like a brownie), which I loved. There was a lot of icing if you like icing, this cake is for you. It was costly ($60) but it was definitely a top QUALITY cake. They created beautiful cupcakes for my daughters baptism. There was a small mix up regarding two gluten free cupcakes being added to my order. They rectified the error immediately, and went above and beyond by offering my kids complimentary cake pops for the extra wait. The cupcakes were delicious and beautifully decorated, and the service was incredible. Very happy with my experience and will definitely order from them again!

We ordered an 11 x 15" cake to celebrate our Mom's 100th Birthday! We ordered a Blueberry Lemon cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. It was beautifully decorated with very intricate flowers and the cake was delicious! Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the cake. One guest said that he normally doesn't like lemon cake but he really liked this one! Thank you Cake Box for making our event so special!

Great quality and excellent service. A little disappointed that there is no longer custard in the canollis but rather like a whip cream. I would highly recommend the strawberry tarts and the croissants are fabulous. The fresh bread and buns are wonderful and we have purchased several cakes now. Never disappointed in the taste of anything they make!

I got a strawberry shortcake for a friend’s birthday, and it was absolutely delicious! The cake, paired with fresh strawberries, was incredibly flavorful and definitely worth the $33. The bakery itself has a lovely seating area to enjoy their treats, and the staff is just as sweet as the confections they sell. With a great variety of delicious options, this place is definitely worth visiting!

I just absolutely love this bakery fresh fresh and delicious! You have such a variety of baked pastries muffins, pastel de nata ( Portuguese custard tart) , donuts, cakes, macaroons, fresh bread, great looking cakes! You can dine in or simply have a coffee with your pastry and enjoy the outdoors since the weather is great for the spring. This bakery is constantly busy, the staff are top notch at getting your order, it depends on the time of day you visit sometimes they run out of the favourites which tells you how much people love this bakery. The seating area is now spacious because they have outdoor seating which is absolutely wonderful.

There are so many varieties, we tried Tiramisu (which was great), chocolate croissant(not good, the chocolate tastes weird), chocolate something in square (too much sugar syrup, not for moderate sweet tooth people), codfish roll (not bad). Great ambiance, great place to hang out with friends. Very reasonable prices. But I’d really love it if you reduce a sugar syrup and too sweet chocolate syrup and introduce the authentic dark chocolate in the recipes.

I’ve visited this Portuguese bakery on many occasions, sometimes to sit-in for a coffee and dessert, other times to pick-up bread and pastries to go. Their products are always fresh and delicious, the pastries cater to all taste buds, and the bread, a real pleasure for bread lovers. They specialize in Portuguese desserts and breads, the most famous being the “Pastel de Nata”, a Portuguese egg custard tart pastry, as well as other traditional desserts (lemon custard tart, Berliner (jam filled Berlin balls), macarons, cakes, pies, etc. Service is good, sometimes a bit slow, depending on how busy it gets. I noticed they changed the outlay of the counters since my last visit, and now that the weather has warmed-up, their patio is open and looks very welcoming. However, this time around, I was disappointed with my choice of the blueberry filled Berlin ball: the dough was too dry, the filling too sweet and oozing out from inside. On the other hand, the lemon Berlin ball looked more appealing and as per my daughter-in-law, was scrumptious. I will go back again, and will definitely order other things and recommend it to family and friends.

An awesome bakery with freshly made cakes, puffs, and croissants. The coffee is absolutely amazing! My husband and I come here every weekend, and it always feels so fresh and delightful

Lovely breakfast place and service were so kind and friendly. The butter tart is to die for. We also tried spinach Feta cheese Danish, which was delicious as well. The croissants were slightly heavy, but a little bit butter is always welcome. Another suggestion is to go for fruit tart and apple turnover. The price is regular. One can enjoy the breakfast there with family or by one self.

Can you say fresh, absolutely delicious, homemade bread??!!! Wow! I only found this place by happenstance seeing someone in front of me drive into this small plaza and the advertisement of sourdough bread caught my eye, so I pulled in. The man inside shared how he makes his bread - no trade secrets though ;) I bought a loaf and a couple buttermilk buns. And, oh soooo tasty that I will definitely return making it part of my enroute travels.

Went to try a new bakery in KW region, and pleasantly surprised, it was very cozy and quaint location. The smell is truly amazing. Worth the visit for sure, the bread is delicious:)

Sparse options and disappointing quality. I went a little after noon on a Tuesday and arrived to mostly empty shelves. I selected slice of carrot cake and a cream horn. The cake was very moist and the icing was okay but overall it was in line with prepackaged carrot cake squares. The cream horn was so dry I couldn't finish it. The cream and pastry were not at all fresh.

Great bread and buns. Treats are scrumptious too. Prices are quite reasonable. Selection can be minimal depending on what is made fresh.

Wonderful certified celiac safe bakery with a family owned business heart beat! I often buy enough to travel safely with delicous baked goods for a month and will even take these baked goods as gifts for family/friends in other provinces. As good as fresh after reheating from frozen!

Nothing but full stars from us for Gluten Free by Suzie! We came to the team with a request for GF/DF wedding cake and cupcakes, worked together and oh my goodness the deliciousness that was created! Guests still rave about the cupcakes and we were thrilled with the taste of our beautiful cake. If you need gluten free you need to visit Gluten Free by Suzie!

I got a special order pecan pie for Thanksgiving so that I could be included in the dessert part of our family dinner as a celiac. The pecan pie is absolutely delicious!!! It doesn't even taste gf, the crust is super light and flakey, caramelized pecans, and the filling is so so delicious. Definitely recommend! Hoping to come back for a birthday cake 😁

I purchased a loaf of white bread and package of day old Kaiser buns. The bread I purchased was slightly cheaper because it had holes in it. However there were no more holes than in other gf bread I’ve bought other places and paid full price and not nearly as good! The kaisers were amazing even when they were day olds! I will admit that the products are pricey but they are worth every penny to have a sandwich or burger where the bun doesn’t just disintegrate when you start to eat! Thanks for a great product

Ginger snap, oatmeal, and Linzer cookies were amazing! Fruit muffin with jam filling was light, airy and filled with berries. It’s always a wonderful surprise when a gluten-free bakery pops up unexpected in a mall you’ve never been to before. You made my day! I can’t add any photos because I ate them all so quickly.

I was diagnosed with celiac last year. We went to the store to get some crossiants and baked items (muffins, cookies, etc.). Firstly, the crossiants came in a packet of 4 which was priced at about $22 before taxes which I feel is not worth at all. I still got 2 packs because I have always been fond of eating crossians but after geeting diagnosed with celiac, I could not find them anywhere else in Kitchener. Little did I know, it wall all go in vein. The baked items were really good and I can confirm that they were 100% gluten free. But, the crossiants were a little fishy (in terms of being 100% gluten free, or as I felt). I had the first 2 bites of the crossiant and I immediately knew that it's not right (glutened). I threw up few minutes later. The branding on Crossiants shows Artisans so I am not entirely sure if they are prepared in house and are free from cross contaminaion. I have been feeling ill since the moment I had it. If you have celiac, I'd recommend not to get the crossiants. Bakes items are great otherwise.

I honestly wish I could give a better review. I have attempted to order cakes from this bakery THREE times. The first two times I called approximately a month prior to needing the order, at that time they said they could not accept any further orders for the entire next month because they had reached their limits. Now I have again tried to order a cake, 5 days in advance during a low season, and STILL that is not enough. This time they didn't say that they were too busy, but that 5 days wasn't enough time and I needed to order 7 days in advance. I didn't need any special order cake, just a regular Gluten Free cake, no special designs or writing, and still they indicated that this time I am ordering too late. Anyway super sad that this bakery unfortunately can't seem to keep up with demand. I will definitely NOT be attempting to order a FOURTH cake here when there are so many other gluten free bakery's around.

2nd time here. But this time I thought I should write a review. Room was nice, bed was comfortable. Service is what I want to speak about, upon returning home my partner realized she forgot her necklace in the room which means a lot to her. Calling the desk they were able to connect with housekeeping and they found it for us and held it until I could come back tonight to pick it up. I am very impressed with the diligence and service of this hotel anytime I am back in the area needing somewhere to sleep we will be going back. Thank you for all your help!

This was our first time staying in Kitchener. The hotel looks great in the lobby and dining room, but the rest of the place is just an aging hotel. What needs to be stated is that the staff does an outstanding job of caring for guests - professional, attentive and friendly. The food is good but pricey, breakfast will cost you $20/person. The amenities are well maintained and add to the experience. As it is located downtown, the street our room looked over was used nightly by motorcycle drivers that revved their engines and used it as a drag-strip. Bring earplugs or stay up to enjoy the show. The room was comfortable, but not particularly clean. The windows were probably cleaned last when the hotel was first built, signs of the last room renovation are still evident, and we were visited by ants that made themselves at home during our stay. The fridge was interesting as well - although it didn't have a freezer compartment, it variously kept things cool or simply froze them outright.

Dated but still a nice hotel. Pool is awesome. Gym has older equipment but very clean. Tried the bowling alley in the basement. It’s fun if you just want to play around. Arcade and mini put are not the greatest. Staff were friendly. Not a very nice part of town. Lots of unfortunate souls around hotel and parking garage. They don’t really bother you though.

Pleasant customer service at the front desk and nice breakfast service person - very tentative to our extra asks! Fast charging for EV in the parking lot (2nd floor) was really cheap. Charging was up to 30A. Very clean room and washroom. Shower-head could be a bit stronger. Very nice location in the midst of centre town! Overall: great experience! Fully recommend!

Staff was very nice and I especially liked the morning lady I didn't catch her name as I left in a hurry but I think management needs to acknowledge her so she worked the 7 to 3 shift July 21st I tipped her as front desk agents don't get acknowledged enough! Great Job. The rooms were clean and the hotel itself is very nice. Also in a good location.

⭐ 1 star Disgusting, Disappointing, and Unhygienic — I’ll Never Stay Here Again I stayed one night at the Crowne Plaza Kitchener, and it was truly one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. We booked a King room, and as soon as we got to the floor, there was a strong, musty smell — even from the hallway. Inside the room, the air conditioning was blasting at 16°C, which only made it worse. We turned it up slightly to 18°C, left for dinner, and hoped it would improve. When we came back, the room still smelled terrible. I could hardly breathe. We called the front desk, and thankfully Himanshu, the night auditor, came to assist us. He moved us to a room in a different tower — but instead of another King room, we were downgraded to a standard room with two queen beds. It wasn’t what we booked, but at that point, we just needed somewhere breathable to sleep. The next morning, it got worse. We spoke to the front desk manager, who said she would escalate the issue. Later, Chitra from the front desk called us back and said they had checked the original room and “found nothing wrong.” Then she blamed us for the smell, saying it was because we had changed the A/C temperature. I’m honestly appalled. I’ve never experienced anything like this — a hotel blaming the guest for a clearly unclean, musty room. I was shocked and disturbed. This level of customer service is unacceptable. And it didn’t stop there. I used the accessible washroom near the breakfast area. After flushing the toilet with the lid down (as I always do), dirty toilet water splashed up and soaked my pants and foot. I didn’t have any disinfectant or sanitizer with me — and none was offered. I felt absolutely disgusted. I informed the manager — not to complain, but because it’s clearly a health hazard. This hotel needs serious maintenance, deep cleaning, and staff retraining. The hygiene issues are unacceptable. And the way I was treated — especially being blamed and then downgraded from the room I paid for — was deeply disappointing. I will never stay here again, and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Had a pleasant stay here with my daughter. Decent room, nice pool, and easy parking. My only complaint is that we had prepaid for this hotel on Hotels.com, but they still charged my credit card for the price of the room! Now I am waiting on a refund and was expecting an email today but didn’t hear from anyone. Not sure if this is common but it is my experience, so make sure you double check your credit card statement!

I used to love coming to this bakery and I'm so disappointed after stopping in. The food on display was sad looking, especially the matcha cake slices which looked at least a week old. The food me and my family got was good for the most part, but so unbearably sweet that after a few bites, I was shivering with disgust. The service wasn't great either mainly because of missing website information about catering. Don't think I'll be coming back, better off anywhere else.

I visited the Kitchener location yesterday and, unfortunately, left quite disappointed. Their space was scaled down about a year ago, but the overall atmosphere still feels very underwhelming. The hanging curtains behind the counter and the disorganized layout do not make for the kind of visually appealing experience you'd expect from an established bakery. The female staff member was quiet, not overly friendly or welcoming, and difficult to engage in conversation. She was seemingly uninterested in trying to sell their product and did not offer advice or share any information about the goods on display until prompted. The selection of baked goods was also surprisingly limited. Many items appeared to have been sitting out for some time. One cheesecake in particular looked burnt on top, with a small amount of unidentifiable preserves and a sprinkle of coconut seemingly used to mask the overdone surface. I opted for the plain cheesecake since I had driven there on my lunch break and felt compelled to try something. Sadly, it was overbaked and stale, so dry it crumbled under the fork and tasted like sand. Definitely not worth the $8 I paid. I did purchase a few extra items (pre-packaged chocolate, not made in-store). The selection of non-bakery items they had was marginally better than the baked goods, but since this is supposed to be a bakery, not a shop, I was very disappointed overall... Not surprising that this business seems to be failing. The nicest thing about this place was the sign on the building. I won't be back.

This place has wide range and good collection of sweet goods. Ordered Slice of Tiramisu and White chocolate raspberry. Taste was not upto the mark of a fine pastry shop and definetely overpriced. Tiramisu was dry and did not taste coffee at all. Raspberry was on a bit of dry side as well and sweet. On a side note they have collection of meat cuts, honey and bottled jams. Good flavor collection on full cakes but bit pricey.

I was greeted by a friendly woman when I entered. I ordered a slice of bienenstich cake, a cherry/cheese danish and a macaroon. The bienenstich is the worst I’ve had - the cake portion was so incredibly dry and hard that my fork could pierce through it and crack a piece off, while the filling tasted like cheap cake icing. Thankfully I didn’t buy the square which was $12, as I spent $7 on this slice. As you can see in the picture, the cake is so dry/hard that my fork was held up by the cake rather than it falling over. The cherry cheese danish was underwhelming; the cherries/filling smelled and tasted like it was old. The danish part itself was soft and seemed fresh and the cheese filling was tasty. As for the macaroon, my toddler ate it happily.

Visited this bakery, the desserts looked great, however cheesecake and blueberry rollada was great. It was not too sweat but was tasty. But chocolate eclair and chocolate cake was not worth the price and was a total disaster. I feel they are soo overpriced for cakes and all.

Special cakes and cookies! It is nice to have a coffee or tea and a good sandwich with a friend. Downside is that their cakes are frozen. It is not fresh made. I had the surprise to come home with it for my birthday on March 10, 2018 and we could not eat it because it was frozen. Nobody mentioned to me that when I bought it 😔 if you are ok with frozen food - you are all good!

Very disappointed. I got $6.56 fresh berry tart. It has a berry syrup on the top and it taste very cheap and artificial. Tart shell is frozen once and defrosted. Tasted gross. Cream is heavy and it could have been good if the syrup didn't ruin flavor. I went to Waterloo nougat and it was very good but this store isn't right.

Absolutely love Play A Latte! Found it about 2 years ago and never forgot it. I make a point of stopping in whenever I'm in Kitchener. Their coffee is great but their chocolate walnut donut and fruit/cherry/orange (varies) donuts are big and taste exactly like the old tim hortons ones from when I was a kid. Heard someone mention that they actually ARE the original recipe before tim hortons changed it! ❤️ It's a great play place for kids, they sell fun activity kits to do at home with little ones And it's licenced to serve alcohol. Can't recommend it enough!

Our family will forever love Play A Latte Cafe! We miss going so much ( we moved away ) but our kids always ask when we can go back. This is a must have visit for any local or tourist if you have kids and want to sit down while they play! We used to go here 2-3 times a week. Our kids loved it so much! They have so many delicious food options that mom and dad miss lol. The girls always made us the best hot/iced coffee and sandwiches.

Held a 5th birthday for my daughter and the space and staff member Lindsay were great. She made sure everything went smoothly. We had a princess attend the party and the studio space was great for crafts and our pizza party.

Amazing atmosphere to grab a coffee while the kids enjoy the activities and play on the wooden structures. Lots of room for little ones to burn off energy. Washrooms are spacious, gender neutral and some have change tables. Stroller friendly front lobby and hallways. ECE's lead daily group sessions for the kids. Studio spaces are available for rent for birthday parties. Adults should make sure to bring along socks since they are required in the play area for both kids and parents!

Our 3 year old had a great time playing here. He enjoyed both the play structures and the soft building blocks, plus the see saw. The bathroom is a single, and is large and clean and made changing my little one easy and relatively quick. My husband and I enjoyed their coffee and herbal teas respectively. We went in the late afternoon on Saturday and while there was a steady amount of people it did not feel overcrowded at all. Will definitely be going back.

A great idea, combining a play space for the kids and some much needed coffee for parents! And they have an ECE come in weekday mornings for circle time. A good space but a few more smaller toys around to play with would be good. And the slides are a bit fast so if you have a little one (my guy is just shy of 2) then make you you're with them. But overall, great place, I would highly recommend!

We have never had anything but amazing experiences at Playalatte! Sometimes we just come to shop and grab a coffee because we like to support local. The atmosphere is so genuine and it is such a comfortable place to bring my kiddos. I like that it is small enough that you do not need to worry about losing site of your child and the option to sit and have a coffee while they play is truly genius! Thankful for this wonderful spot in our community!

Such a gem of a bakery! I tried a kouign-amann for the first time here, and it was unforgettable perfectly crisp on the outside, caramelized just right, and buttery layers that melted in my mouth. You can tell everything is made with care. The space is cozy and inviting, with warm service and a relaxed vibe!

We tried their kouign-amann which is one of our favourites. We have also tried their shakshuka brioche which is perfect combination of all the herbs and spices which an egg inside. In the picture you see is the basque cheese cake and something of broccoli puff, which is good too! This bakery is really good with all of the baked goods. One of the best in the KWC area!!

Great little cafe/ bakery/ shop!! They had so many local products from various artisans. Their in-house baked goods are too die for, and I recommend getting there early enough to sample the breakfast bun. What a great idea. If you love a good bakery, I highly recommend checking this place out. Also the staff area lovely!!

It was a warmer than normal, unseasonably nice day, so walked down to this neighbourhood store for a coffee. Honestly, the drip coffee was ok. It was close to closing time, so perhaps it had been sitting for awhile in the carafe. Seemed a bit weak for my tastes. That said, the staff - and clientele for that matter - were all very friendly. And it isn't just a coffee shop. Various pastries were for sale, as well as a bunch of unique food items, and other interesting things created by local craftspeople. There's a bit of parking right off Frederick, and a small outside spot for customers to sit and enjoy the offerings in nice weather. There's also a small seating area inside when it isn't so nice out.

I had such a fab first time experience at this quaint neighborhood bakery and provisions shop. The vibrant colours, baking, in house gourmet ice cream and fab merchandising blew me away with such a big city gourmet selection at amazing local price points. Of course I purchased some Chuck Hughes products, and took home a half dozen of their in house baking. Oh my gosh, you must visit, and tell them Spicy Jan sent you. The customer service is excellent, very kind staff. They listen carefully to all your requirements and fulfill the same. I got the custom cake exactly designed as ordered in a short time. Not only the look of the cake , but cake itself was so soft and delicious as they recommended me the flavours that would go well. Best combo ever! It was as exactly the way I showed them in the picture which I wanted . I am definitely coming in the future for more cake orders. Highly highly recommended!

I enjoyed the cakes I bought for my husband's birthday at this pastry shop. The cakes are simple, but relatively light and flavorful. When it comes to cakes, I usually prefer simple designs way better than "Instagram-worthy" pretentious looks with all those artificial colors and marzipan or heavy buttermilk layers. However, I wish the cake I got would look a little less like a homemade cake. With that being said, I love the good taste of chocolate and nuts, which this bakery offers in many shapes and forms. Too many of the pastries caught my eye and I will be back to try them next time.

We ordered a fruit cream cake for my husbands Birthday. Although I had to wait a bit as cake needed some finishing touches. It was well worth the wait. Cake was so stunning and beautifully decorated with the fruit. Most of all it tasted scrumptious. Cake was light and creamy with perfect amount of sweetness. The owners use a lot of organic products and they put so much dedication and love into their business. You can also find European products at a good price. Tasty cakes (even wedding cakes), meat and fresh cheese. Very recommended!

Ordered a bunch of these pastries from Uber Eats to satisfy my sweet tooth. The person who packaged our order was so sweet just like these pastries - they packed us 3 free items on the side along with a Thank you note! This is why I love local bakeries! All the pastries were SO GOOD! We consumed them over a few days but they still seemed so delightful each day! It was hard to pick my favorite but I think Crem Pita is the Winner for me! It was sooooo smooth and creamy and tasty! I'd love to visit this place in person one day! Definitely ordering from here again.

This is the second time I order cake from here and for the second time the taste is wonderful and the cake is for the baptism of my son and daughter. The service is more than wonderful. Amazing selection of scones. We got a six pack with a cheddar, orange coconut, cranberry, raspberry chocolate, rhubarb and apple cinnamon. The apple cinnamon was the most loved between everyone in the family. I loved the cranberry one. It had just the right amount of icing and cranberries throughout. Definitely will be going back to try the other flavors and pick up some cinnamon buns to try. And maybe some macaroons.

Litierally the best scones I have ever had! The store owner is really kind kind and sweet; extra scones have been snuck into our bag twice which was a special treat!

Bought a box of 6 scones - the cheddar, cheddar and chive, cheddar and jalapeno, blueberry, lemon poppyseed and orange coconut (I think). Scones were buttery and soft, reheating them in the microwave for breakfast the next day worked well too. Price is reasonable for 20 bucks. Hubby and I both enjoyed them as a treat! :)

I loved my experience here. We went early in the fall, I had a scone, and coffee; the others had macarons. It is a take-out place, but it has a picnic table outside where you can eat. We loved what we had, from what I saw, it is all baked on site. Would like to return.

Went to the Sconery for my sons 9th birthday as a little treat! I wasn't going to go for a scone myself but the clerk "Linda" highly recommended the honey cinnamon one....WOW....it was not dry like the scones I've had in the past. The Macorons tasted yummy too we couldn't resist and got 12 (1 of each) . What a treat! Thanks again Linda! We will be back!

This place has amazing macarons and a lot of flavours to choose from as well! The scones - savoury and sweet, both - here are pretty crumbly and tasty. I prefer the sweet ones here over the savoury. I've had scones from a few places nearby and this had the best of them all. This place is reasonably priced, would definitely recommend!

Yummmmm! We have only tried the scones, but have done so several times and have only been impressed. There are a lot of delicious and unique options, both savory and sweet, and not just scones. They have just as much variety with their macaroons as well. Prices are good at $2.75/scone and $2.00/macaroon. They also have tars and cinnamon rolls. Looks like they have also branched out into custom cakes and cupcakes too. Several picknick table benches out front. TIP: They bundle their day old scones and sell them off at a discount.

Today I enter this beautiful chocolate store and I had an amazing experience. From the moment I opened the door I felt like I walked in magical place. Very nicely decorated and such a great variety of chocolates. The quality is amazing. I loved the idea of customizing the products for specific events or order gifts with specific themes. The host was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I meant to visit This chocolate store for a while but I didn’t until today. It is a great place and I am glad I went there today. It will definitely become a favourite place to go for an awesome treat.

Guy working was super nice. We had 3 differentbeaver tails and they were all amazing. Not many tables, more suitable for take out. Didn’t try the food, but I will try it! Admittedly it was a little wait, but it didn’t matter since everything was made well, and with care.

I visited here on a Saturday evening around 8pm. I want to start by saying the person working behind the counter did the absolute best they could - but they were the only one working! This is clearly bad management to have one person working on a Saturday evening. I ended up waiting just under half an hour between when I entered and when I got my Beavertail. There were consistently 6-10 people present in the shop the entire time I was there - again, showing how important it is to have more than one worker! The worker was clearly stressed with managing taking orders, making orders, and packaging them and getting them to the customers - easily the job of 3 people. It is ludicrous to not have multiple people working the shop in such an evidently busy time. As always, the beavertail itself was delicious. But I should not have had to wait 25 minutes for it because only one person was working. Do better, management.

Short line-up to place an order, and about 10 to 15-minute wait to receive it. The store is big and there's enough room for those who are waiting for their orders. I hope they can also add a few tables and chairs (or bench) in the future, so customers can sit while waiting. We picked the top 3 flavors on the menu, and they all tasted great, even if left at room temp for a few hours. I will definitely be back to try the other items on their menu.

The first time I tried BeaverTails I was in Montreal and it was pretty good, so I wanted to try this location now opened. I got the Coco Vanil and my sister got the Avalanche. I'm so disappointed, the Beavertail dough was lacking in flavour, pale in colour (unlike the one I had previously in Montreal), it did not have a nice texture and the toppings were not good: the chocolate syrup was watered down in flavour and not pleasant in flavour as it didn't taste like chocolate and the cookie topping was weird flavoured and textured pebbles; though I can say, the icing that was delicious. I rarely dislike something to the point of not being able to finish it but this was one of those times. For the Avalanche my sister was also unhappy with the BeaverTail dough but said all of her toppings were good, she finished hers but with regret, overall not a good experience. If I went again I'd want to try other items but I would not go for a BeaverTail itself. I think for beavertails we are going to stick with the local market, they have our favourite one, as often mom n pop shops have the best food.

My husband and I ordered a cake and cupcakes from the Bake Shop on Main for our wedding this past June. It was such an awesome experience and we highly recommend!!! We worked with Klara and she was so kind and friendly. We had a tasting where we got to select from a list of flavours for icing and cake and they were all incredible - we ended up ordering all 3 flavours for icing and cake that we tried at the tasting for an assortment of cupcakes. We ordered a small cake as well for my husband and I, and it was amazing! We went with red velvet with cream cheese icing for the cake, and 3 flavours for the cupcakes - hazelnut icing with vanilla sponge, raspberry icing with lemon sponge, and cream cheese icing with red velvet sponge. Our guests absolutely loved the desserts! Everything was absolutely delicious and so beautifully decorated!! Thank you Klara!!😊

I cannot say enough good things about The Bake Shop on Main. I stumbled across this bake shop while looking for a place to order a cake and some cupcakes for my Daughter's Baptism. We ordered vanilla cupcakes with a raspberry filling and a traditional red velvet cake, after speaking in depth with Klara, and all I can say is WOW! They brought my ideas to life in the most delicious way, and not to mention so fairly priced. We heard from many guests that the cupcakes were some of the best they had ever had, and the traditional red velvet cake is phenomenal! I have eaten many red velvets cakes in my life, and never have I had one as delicious and unique as this one! The communication was also great with Klara and she answered any and all of my questions, and made for a very smooth pick up on the day of the event with a lot of accommodation for our situation. Although I do not live in the area, I will definitely be reaching out in the future for any of my cake/cupcake needs!

Best Bakery in Cambridge! - Excellent customer services, delicious cakes and reasonably priced ! 10 out of 10 I highly recommend this bakery! They matched the cake design we wanted to the T and it was the best cake we ever tasted. The fondant wasn’t too sweet or hard! It was perfect and the price was reasonable. We are so grateful and happy that we had this bakery create our gender reveal cake! Everyone at the party kept asking where we got the cake from because not only was it beautiful but it tasted amazing!

They did an amazing job on our wedding cake! Very helpful, informative, and easy to book with. I changed my mind with a previous cake vendor, so I was last minute trying to find another and frantic. They were so helpful and helped me select the perfect cake. I wanted to have the flowers the same as my decore, so they decorated the cake on site because I wasn't able to drop the flowers of ahead of time. Also the cake tasted as amazing as it looked!! I would highly recommend!!

We ordered our wedding cake from this shop and we couldn’t be happier. They had the most reasonable prices in all of Cambridge/Kitchener/Waterloo. Klara was super welcoming and flexible, and made the exact same cake as our photo. She also handled delivery and coordination with our florist in the smoothest possible way.

What a great little store! Shelves and shelves of awesome gift ideas. Good selection of items if you're hosting a bachelorette / bachelor party and you want to give the guests a little something. Tons of home goods as well. So many interesting preserves/jellies/sauces/snacks. If you're going to a dinner party you can definitely find some nice host gifts here. I plan to come back very soon!

Great little gem. Full of gift ideas and tasty treats. They also have Four All ice cream. My main reason to go is for the delicious coffee. Once in a while I break away from the Americano and have a latte. So many wonderful options and the service is always top notch and cheerful. There is a small sitting area and in the summer there is a patio. Grab a hot drink and walk behind the building to watch the swans.

As part of our regular cycling route, we try to make time to stop at this excellent coffee shop at least once a week. Beyond delicious coffee, there is a lovely gift shop. The friendly owner is a coffee enthusiast, which makes for a reliably great cup of coffee!

A Hidden Gem in Wellesley! Grammys Boutique and Espresso Bar is hands down the best coffee spot in the Wellesley area. If you’re tired of the usual Tim Hortons run and actually want to enjoy a quality cup of coffee, this is the place to go. The espresso is smooth, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are always friendly. You can tell they put care into every cup. It’s an absolute must-try if you appreciate good coffee!

We often grab coffees from Grammy's as a treat and are always pleasantly greeted by Katrina or her staff. We have ordered there many times and never been disappointed! Grammy's is an honest and well priced business that sells gourmet coffees as well as lots of other interesting souvenirs and treats! I was with my dogs and the owner allowed me to place an order while I stayed outside with the dogs and then brought the payment machine to me out there. She then brought individual water bowls (with ice too) for each of my dogs. The coffee was great but this kindness is what sets my experience apart! Will definitely be back!!

Cute coffee shop that gives similar vibes to Sweet Dreams in Waterloo. Guy working the register was super nice and talkative with lots to share. Got the dirty chai and a Dubai chocolate donut. Wish they had more vegetarian options that were savoury but otherwise I can't complain.

A nice cozy cafe in the heart of Ayr. Perfect spot for a coffee and a walk downtown. The variety is great, anything from an espresso to iced coffee and specialty drinks. Yummy treats to pick from too. I had an iced coffee with almond milk and sugar free vanilla syrup and my kiddo enjoyed a coco that was delicious and not too hot. I can't wait to see how this cafe grows in the future.

I tried the Lavendar Vanilla Latte from their coffee truck, and it was great. Service was fast and friendly. There was a small line, but they moved through it quickly and it was worth the wait. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely return for another cup of coffee!

Great place to come for a VEGGIE meal and a meeting! Staff are always friendly and helpful, and dishes are freshly made and quite wholesome. I only order vegetarian or seafood options here and yet there’s plenty of variety. Today I tried the beyond burger with fresh fries. Their special sauce on the burger was goood! I enjoy the big booths beside the windows, the natural light in this place is insane. Beautiful decor all around. And don’t miss the desserts! I shared a quick video of the desserts, and can’t wait to try one next time I’m in. But their cheesecakes and brownies are addictive! Check out their daily specials! I came in on a Monday and got the veggie burger combo. They would’ve scored higher but sometimes there’s only one employee (during the day) and you’re left waiting for long pockets of time for something you need. Store manager is incredibly nice, and always professional! Will I be back, yes absolutely!

I have gone to the restaurant 3 times now. This is definitely prefer it as a breakfast place. Unlimited coffee but the pop/soda isn't bottomless which was a tad of a surprise to me. My first visit I was greeted and served by Evan, he is a wonderful waiter and is my now preferred upon visiting this location. Evan made sure my coffee was never empty and no matter how busy it eventually got during my visit I felt like I was never ignored and always a priority during the visit. Regarding breakfast meals I first had the pancakes and my third visit I had the blt. Both had the potato hash browns which are a definite must have. My second visit I enjoyed Supper there with my Wife and Daughter. For the super I enjoyed their ribs. The ribs were delicious and had a delicious charcoal to them and as advertised fell off the bone. The atmosphere is gorgeous with the walls decorated with ancient Greek/Roman and a handful of tables are separated with logs and plants so you feel privacy even in a crowded environment. Although the bar had its share of televisions the majority wasn't littered with tv's which I personally prefer seeing, especially with my young daughter who is too young for screen time. In summary, the food is great, it's better at breakfast, and when you're their if Evan is working, he will treat you like royalty.

Lately we’ve been coming back to this location because it’s revamped its offerings and the menu is full of amazing items like the avocado toast with mushrooms and truffle oil which I had for brunch. They have a daily deal every day and basically I want to try everything. The server was lovely and made our time special and hilarious. I will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Amazing experience today at Symposium Cafe, Erb street Waterloo! Took my husband out for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised to see their 1/2 price offer for pasta and bowls. We ordered seafood pasta and chicken teryaki bawl, both were absolutely delicious (kudos to the chef!) big portions for a great price. We also tried their draught beer, which was amazing. Impecable service, the waiter was very polite and professional, the entire experience made our day. We will definitely come back!

Chicken souvlaki & the steak for 2 can dine wasn’t the best (very fatty) but all the other food and drinks we’ve tried are great!

I found my favourite cupcake store today! I tried 6 cupcakes: Red Velvet, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Baileys Irish Cream Cheesecake, Black Forest, Salted Caramel, Knotty Pine Buttered Almond + 2 other desserts: cookie dough cheesecake bar and napoleon custard square. I think I’m quite picky with my cupcakes but I liked all of them! The cake was very soft and moist but did not fall apart when I wanted to break off the bottom of a non-filled cupcake to make a cupcake sandwich. The soft buttercream icing was the perfect (in my opinion) texture and consistency and just the right amount of sweetness where you can enjoy the flavour of the cupcake without being overwhelmed by sugar. This is great because they have such fun unique cupcake flavours and they do the classics super well as well! The Black Forest had a fresh tasting whipped cream (rightfully not buttercream) that was delicious as well. They have a lot of other desserts available such as cookies, French macaroons, squares etc. Prices for cupcakes differ depending on if you order <6, 6-11, 12+ and cheaper in store than ordering online ie Uber eats (like with any store/restaurant). My 8 treats came to a total of $34 which is amazing considering the amount and quality. 10/10 would recommend!

OMG this place is amazing! I stop here every time I am in the area and I am never disappointed with my treats! I usually go for the trusted cupcakes (which not only look gorgeous but more importantly taste DELICIOUS) but decided to try a tart or two instead… WOW just WOW. The chocolate caramel didn’t even make it home. The lemon meringue was a perfect breakfast! And as if the food wasn’t enough the owners are so welcoming and friendly. (don’t even let me get started on the total thirst trap of a husband! 🔥) GO TO TINY CAKES!! You can thank me later. 😜

My kids and I have recently discovered this bakery and we are forever changed! It has become our favourite spot to get a treat. There is a lovely selection of baked goods, the staff are really helpful and patient and the desserts are some of the best I've ever tasted. The only challenge is deciding what to purchase! SO glad I finally made my way out to try Tiny Cakes! It's such a cute little bakery, and I was greeted right away when I walked in. I tried six cupcakes: Vanilla Bean, Birthday Cake, Triple Chocolate, Red Velvet, Salted Caramel and the Knotty Pine Buttered Almond. The Knotty one is a new favorite for sure, but they all had really nice icing/cupcake/topping flavor combinations to them. It's not the sugar-loaded grocery store cupcakes that I think a lot of us are used to, where the main flavor is just "sweet". These are proper bakery cupcakes with a lot of care and mindfulness. The icing has a nice consistency: soft at room temperature but much more firm when chilled, so definitely let it warm up a bit. (The nice lady at the bakery did let me know this as well.) I had half my cupcakes fresh on the day and had the others the next day and they kept well enough. But for me, the real winner was the stack of chocolate chip cookies. Chocolate chip cookies have no business being so delicious, soft, chewy. I bought them Saturday, and two days after being opened and half eaten, they're still just as yummy. Highly recommend this bakery.

My husband and I were married at Cambridge Mill January 25, 2020, and Jen and Arthur from Tiny Cakes created a beautiful cupcake display for our special day! The cupcakes were phenomenal! They were beautifully decorated and displayed and they were delicious! From ordering to delivering Jen and Arthur were fantastic to deal with and we would highly recommend them to family and friends. I absolutely love this place. HIGHLY recommend the croissants (my fave is the almond), but they have plenty of tasty pastries. I love that they've got the most authentic French-patisserie feel in town. Everything I've had is delicious.

DOG HAIR IN CROISSANT!! As long-time customers of Sabeltine, we were deeply disappointed by how the owner handled a recent issue that should have been addressed with care and professionalism. We purchased four almond croissants, only to find a dog hair embedded in one of them. Given the health concerns, we contacted the owner, hoping for a swift resolution. Unfortunately, she offered to refund only the one croissant with the hair, and when we explained that we no longer felt comfortable eating the others, she dismissively told us that what we chose to do with them was “up to us.” As a nurse, I was shocked by her lack of concern for food safety and customer trust. We had hoped to support a local business, but the owner’s arrogant response and disregard for our legitimate concerns were appalling. Her handling of this situation shows a complete lack of respect for the hard-earned money of her customers, especially in today’s economy. Where there’s one hair, there could be more, and this experience has left us questioning the standards at Sabeltine. We regret that our long-standing support for this business ended in such an unsatisfactory and dismissive manner.

Honestly haven't tasted better anywhere in the world. PREVIOUS: Absolutely delicious! Daughter said that we haven't tasted croissants like this and I would agree. The chocolate and almond butter croissants were flaky, buttery, and flavourful, with good quality chocolate. There was a long lineup of 10+ people when we arrived at 11 am on Sun, a half hour after opening, and after eating these, I can see why. There was a great selection of options and it was cute inside. Staff were friendly and efficient, and did well trying to keep people moving through. Prices were reasonable and less than we have seen elsewhere. We're looking forward to trying EVERYTHING on the menu eventually. Compared with the other trendy croissant place Hazukido, I would say they are equal in presentation and appearance, but these guys definitely have them beat on flavour.

I've shopped here twice for special pastries for family gatherings. These are the finest pastries you will find in KW. The ingredients must be top shelf because everything is creamy, smooth, layers of flavours, beautiful colours and presentation, crisp pastries and crusts... Everything is perfect and everyone is always in awe of the creations on offer at the dinner table. My grandkids (after two events with Sabletine's creations) already know what's coming when they hear that Papa has some special desserts 😂😍. Prices are $4 - $7 for each of the large pastries (they are large!) but small versions of most large treats are available. I haven't even started on the beautiful breads, cookies, croissants... You must visit and enjoy.

The sweets are fine, but not worth the rude treatment by their staff. I've been there several times thinking I just caught some of them an off day, however only once was helped by someone friendly. It's just down the street from my house, but they have nothing I can't find at another bakery that's as good or better and treats their customers kindly.

Some of their donuts had no signage so wasn’t sure what they were. I’ve heard ownership has changed and the quality has changed. There is barely any filling in the donut and the donuts don’t seem as fresh and fluffy as before. The Boss used to be my favourite but the filling is completely different. Donuts not filled AT ALL second weekend in a row! We ordered 3 dozen for a party and the raspberry filled had NO filling. The week prior the Blue Unicorn had no filing and we had to put a note on the order to make sure there was filling for our baby shower. Now I’m seeing all these reviews on new owners and it’s extremely unfortunate that this place must have new owners that are just ruining it / cheaping out. Not to mention, they got rid of the pink box AND charge you for additional packaging to not have the donuts squished together! Take a look at the empty donuts we received compared to what’s advertised.

Freshly baked donuts. Yummy. Bought 4 donuts came out to over $4 each. Little bit pricey. You get what you pay for. You can taste the freshness. Tim's is a disgrace when it comes to Debrodniks taste, freshness, uniqueness and assorted flavours. Quality at its finest.

Bought 6 donuts, $20. 3 of the donuts tasted like the oil was not hot enough. They had absorbed enough oil to change the texture and flavour. They were also filled donuts. There was very little to no filling. If I went in at the end of day I might understand absorption of the filling, however I was there at opening. It used to be fantastic, now I can't say it's worth the price tag.

This place used to be great, now the atmosphere is weird with post-it note signs , you have to ring a bell when you want to order which feels like you're disturbing them...we got 6 and majority were not fully cooked and all had clearly been cooked when the oil was too cold or left to cool improperly. Donuts were overly sweet and over glazed, and fillings were watery. We all ended up with headaches and disappointment. Would not recommend since ownership or something here changed.

I've stopped in for a donut from Debrodniks three or four times now and its always been delicious. Recently had "The Boss" (pictured) and the PB&J on a previous visit. Both were super delicious. Especially liked that the PB&J is raspberry. Definitely recommend very highly, wish I could order a whole box instead of just one at a time :)

Absolutely delighted with this place!! The chocolate éclair was to die for!! The lemon tart was wonderful as well!! I would definitely highly recommend these to anyone! The chocolate éclair's icing wasn't painted on thinly; it has a surprisingly lovely crunch. It was so thick but not hard to the teeth. The whipping cream was real whipping cream. The pastry appeared dry, but worked like magic with the rest of it. I was left dreaming about it for the rest of the day! My lemon tart had a perfectly tart taste complemented by the meringue. My friend heartily agreed to both of those items being her favourite as well. My egg salad sandwich with lettuce on wholegrain bread was quite good as well! I will return to this place again! This place is so efficiently set up. They manage to pack in a shocking number of items, and yet everything fits. They have seating and even manage to have 2 washrooms. They sell some Irish and Scottish merchandise as well. See my pics for more food options. Food: You can eat lunch here or buy treats, lunch items like sandwiches, savory dishes, snacks, breakfast items, hot soup, or breads. They sell clotted cream in jars that you can buy along with their super fluffy-looking scones!! I haven't seen one place in Cambridge that sells this! Types of Dining: Indoor and takeout. They have tables and chairs for you to sit indoors. Atmosphere: Quiet but not overly quiet. Kids can come here. Parking: There is a lot of free parking due to this business being in the same lot as the Giant Tiger. Wheelchair accessibility: Unsure. There wasn't a designated wheelchair accessible washroom. It looked like one of them is likely large enough to go in with a wheelchair, but there is no wheelchair button.

Good coffee and pastries; Chocolate Eclair has lots of yummy whipped cream; Meat Pies are delicious; Love their Black Pudding/Blood Sausage on a fresh roll with butter!

Raising Dough is an absolute gem in Cambridge! They offer an amazing variety of traditional Scottish pies, scones, and other baked treats — everything is incredibly flavourful, fresh and clearly made with love. The staff are so warm and kind — they even welcomed me in with my dog, which made my day! There's even a sitting area inside to sit down and enjoy a cup of tea with a scone or sandwich, or any of their delicious pies and treats, making it the perfect place to relax and treat yourself. It has such a welcoming, homey atmosphere — a true local treasure. Don't miss taking home some of their scones, bread and treats. You won't regret it! Can’t wait to come back!

I am officially done with this place. First of all, the good: the scones are delicious. This is what kept me returning once or twice a month for the past few years. The bad: The rest of their products are a gamble - some are good, some are not. All are quite expensive. My husband compared their meat pies to a $1 boxed meat pie from the grocery store, and I think I paid about $8 each at this place. Forget about ever getting a table here to enjoy a coffee and a pastry! There are only 2 tables in the whole place, and they are constantly occupied by the same "regulars", sipping on coffee and splitting a scone/pastry 4 ways for hours, every single time I've been in. The service is mediocre at the best of times. There are a few ladies working here who could use a crash course in customer service...most notably - the owner. She acts like it's a privilege to purchase from her store, and I've witnessed her be outright rude to customers on several occasions. The final straw for me came earlier this week. I was in line to purchase a package of scones. Ahead of me was a lady buying some coffee. She was told that she could not use the debit machine unless she purchased something else to raise the total purchase! She was visibly upset, probably because she didn't carry actual cash, like most people these days! In retrospect, I should have paid for her order along with mine. Instead, I just put my bag of scones back and walked out, past the 2 tables of camped-out "regulars", never to return. Spend your money somewhere that appreciates it. This is not the only bakery in town!

Amazing and authentic Scottish bakery! Their scotch eggs and millionaires shortbread are especially delicious. Service is always great. I’ve gotten items to go and also placed advance larger orders and it is co sisterly good.

I just have to say, this place is wonderful! It’s filled with all kinds of delicious treats, and I can even find my favorite brands of tea, like PG and Yorkshire. There’s a nice area to relax in, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I truly love visiting here, and I'm not shy about sharing that!

Bakery is packed with so many types of sweets and breads. Friendly staff. I would buy their eclairs again if I happened to be in the area. They close at 4 and open at 7. Types of desserts: butter tarts, pies (Dutch apple, rhubarb, etc), cookies (sugar, gingerbread, chocolate chip, oatmeal kinds, etc), donuts, cookie wagon wheels, cupcakes, cheesecake slices, whole cakes, and some day old desserts available too, etc. They have dishcloths. Their desserts aren't overly sweet, which I like. Negatives: I wasn't happy with how dry and crumbly their Oatmeal Jumble cookies are. I wouldn't purchase again. Nice flavour though. The chocolate icing on their chocolate cupcakes has an unusual flavour added to it. I wouldn't purchase it again. The Cookie Wagon Wheel was okay, but nothing to write home about. Bought almond crescent cookies from Norris Bakery when I was out on a walk on this stunning bright cool day! The icing sugar had sprinkled off by the time I came home and one broke but these slightly crunchy almond cookies melted in my mouth! Finished them off with s’mores hot chocolate. Delicious! It was challenging to see the products with a table between me and the display cases because of Covid. Person was very patient and nice while I took my time to pick out the cookies I wanted.

My favorite bakery! They have such a great selection of beads, buns, pies, donuts and lots of little sweet treats. They do larger call ahead orders and are very accommodating. All the staff are so friendly and helpful! If you haven't tried them yet, you need to get their long John's. They're my family's favourite for a reason!

Don't believe the bad reviews!!! This place has been a staple for my family, and everyone we've shared them with, for over 50 years! The dinner buns are my childhood in a nutshell, but everything else has been top notch too. We were shocked and saddened to hear they are being forced out of the building. Our whole family hopes they land on their feet somewhere else... We'll follow them wherever they go. So take it from someone who knows, if they move to your neighborhood, lucky you!!!! You guys will me missed on Frederick!

I love this bakery. Everything is amazing and delicious and the staff are incredibly friendly. Just stepping in here makes my mouth water because it smells amazing. I always have a hard time picking out what I want, because I have yet to try anything I didn't love. Highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth!

We LOVE this bakery! We've been visiting this bakery for years and have never had a bad experience. The staff have always been very friendly as well. My advise is to go as early as you can to this bakery as it's popular and the good stuff is gone early and doesn't last long! Also, if you don't see something in the front, ask them if they have any in the back as they often do. Hopefully if you go to this bakery, you'll love it as much as we do!

I originally went in to get a long John donut as I had them before but it was sold out so I got a chocolate eclair which was amazing. Prices are really good and the lady was super friendly and stated that the long john donuts usually sells out so call in advance. Can't wait to go back again as they bake with love

This was our second visit to Ice Cream 2 and once again, it didn’t disappoint! Even though the line was long, it moved quickly thanks to their super efficient process. I really appreciate that the funnel cakes come in three sizes—perfect for those of us who can’t handle the full 8oz! The menu has a ton of variety, and the soft serve is genuinely high quality. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

Been living here for eight years , yet I didn’t know about this hidden gem in town. Amazing ice creams. Like real rich dairy ice cream. It’s been long I stopped eating ice creams because I was so tired of the same frozen dessert kinda flavour that tastes nothing but baby’s formula milk! This place is worth eating at and that too at a nominal price.

Loved the Black Forest Sundae and Kit Kat Funnel Cake at Ice Cream 2! I upgraded to hard ice cream for the funnel cake for $1 extra — definitely worth it. Great flavors and friendly service. Will visit again!

The best little ice cream place in Kitchener! A HUGE menu to try all different types of ice cream treats/flavors including sundaes, funnel cakes, parfait, frozen yogurt and so much more. They've got alot of good non-dairy options too if you have an allergies. Definitely recommend on a nice sunny summer day!

The best ice cream place in Kitchener. They have a wide variety of flavors, sundaes and funnel cakes. Any time we have visitors from out of town, we bring them here for a treat. The staff is very friendly and the ice cream never disappoints.

High quality goods. It's organized, clean. Prices were fair and staff was friendly. I tried the oatmeal cookies, peanut butter tarts, skor tarts, and butterscotch tarts. They all tastes good 👍 One of my managers recommended it to me and it was worth the drive.

These are the best butter tarts. Period. You should definitely stop by if you're local, but it's also worth the detour if you're passing by on the 401. It's 10 mins from the highway, and they're some of the best butter tarts in Ontario! Got too many? They freeze really well too. Good variety of flavours as well.

I was told their coconut tarts are fantastic. I love coconut tarts but these were very very disappointing. There was only a few sprinkles of coconut only. Real coconut tarts are full of coconut. Tried the lemon as well, again very very disappointing, the filling is instant that comes out of a box. The lemon tarts have very little flavour & are not tart like real lemon from scratch. Tried their flavour of the month.. Almond Joy. Very very disappointing as well. Almond Joy is coconut, chocolate & almonds. Again, these only had a few sprinkles of coconut, there was very little almond pieces as well. Talk about being really cheap with the fillings for the amount you have to pay for 6 @ 13.95 Won’t ever go back there again. Some people don’t know home made filling from artificial to say how good they are.

Our first time there and we got a mixture to bring home. The flavour is definitely there and the tart shell is good too however I find that the ratio of tart shell to filling is too much. Too much pastry, little bit of filling. Some tarts had more filling than others. Definitely no consistency. I would expect a good butter tart to have an abundant amount of filling. Based on the price of the product I would expect more for my money. Looking at previous reviews I am not the only one that feels this way. I am unsure we will be back as we cant justify the price for what we are getting in return.

This place is heavenly! You MUST visit!!! Tarts are soo yummy with a great assortment! They have "ugly but yummy tarts" at a discount which I thought was cute. Their pies you could have 1 pie with 2 different flavors or 1 pie with 4 different flavors, absolutely brilliant! Worked perfect for Easter, each person got their favorite pie!! Staff and owners are friendly and knowledgeable

Food was small portioned, fry cups weren't even half full, and not to mention warm and super salty. The servers didn't seen happy and were annoyed when I asked for missing items. Floor was full of garbage.

Slowest DQ I've ever been too!! We waited half an hr for 2 blizzards and a scor caramel brownie cupfection... 2 people working on a Sunday when the sun is shining... But no one seems to be moving quickly Frustrating to say the least .

Massively over filled the blizzards. Was spilling everywhere when i asked for lid got eye roll as the soft ice cream was dripping everywhere. Then she dumped on the counter and i asked her re make it as lots ran out she went and just stirred more ice cream in and didn't add more flavour. When i asked for cup so i could off load some of the to full ones she eye rolled and huffed in-front of store full. Then i made complaint and she didn't turn cup upside down as they claim so I asked for free ice cream to which i was ignored. Wrote to head office they replied but passed to store. Almost 2 weeks no reply.

This was my first visit today what a cute quaint cozy place. It’s a great way to just relax catch up with friends at a small cafe. The donuts are just absolutely delicious too many choices. The donuts are soft, doughy, the taste is amazing homemade for sure. Worth every bite. I can see why they have so many awards and why people are voting for them. This place is worth a visit.

Went here for the first time, i got a iced lattè with a salted caramel shot. And it wasn't the best 😔 it was much too strong and the epresso shot almost tasted burnt 😬 i think it would've tasted a bit better if they just added more milk. The doughnuts looked amazing! But i did not end up getting one.

Always a great spot for donuts and their salmon bagel is delish! Purchased a few donuts for myself and a client and they loved them! Will be back for more when I’m in town.

Recommended: currently, this is my favorite doughnut place. They have both gluten-free and vegan as well as the old standby-regular doughnuts. The flavors change every month and they are usually themed. For instance, Lemon Meringue Filled, Nerds, S'mores, Piña Colada and Berry Fritter were some for August. The atmosphere is cozy, but limited for seating. They have hot and cold drinks too. If you're not interested in a ton of sugar, they have bagel options as sandwiches. Like the smoked salmon and cream cheese, yum! You really just have to try it yourself. Also, don't wait, sometimes they sell out before closing time.

This is a nice little coffee shop. Good coffee both hot and cold. A variety of teas...although they can't make a caffeine free London Fog...I know, I know...very specific gripe! Service is very good. Place is clean and washrooms are also kept clean. Now, the donuts: OMG! For all kinds of tastes. Always fresh. Pecan Birthday Cake, Oreo, Maple Dip, Plain Glazed, and on and on. Variety is just amazing! Between 3pm and 4pm they are already starting to run low on some of the best donuts. My only complaint (and it's a matter of taste I guess) is that coffee is never as hot as it should be. Luke warm coffee is just not enjoyable. Even asking it to be extra hot only makes it slightly better.

BEYOND DISAPPOINTED!!!!! THIS HAS BEEN MY GO-TO LOCATION FOR MY CUSTOM BIRTHDAY CAKE FOR YEARS BUT NEVER AGAIN!!! I custom ordered a strawberry top, chocolate bottom 8" cake with Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, chocolate dip cone drizzle and minimal icing for myself every year. Placing the order this year was awkward. I was asked if I wanted the cookie center, I did not get a receipt nor given the ability to collect points. I also specificlly said "no vanilla" multiple times. When I came back to pick up the cake I was not impressed with its aesthetics but took it anyways due to time constraints. Once home and digging into the cake I immediately called the store. There was no evidence of chocolate ice cream. My call was answered by someone who said they could only take my name and number because the cake maker was on leave. When I questioned what to do with this cake and what was going to be done to rectify this problem I was passed on to the manager who assured me I could come in and get a replacement cake, hehad my name and number. I asked about the logistics of this arrangement since it was a custom order and what to do with the cake I had. He said keep it. I again asked about the logistica of getting a replacement custom order and verifying I keep the cake I had. He said yes, he had my name and phone number. I questioned more, he then gave me an email address for the store and asked me to send a message detailing the situation so that there was a record of it and we could make arrangements. Shortly after getting off the phone with the manager I received a phone call from an unknown number. It was someone from the Dairy Queen wanting a picture of the cake. No problem, I send her one. She then asked me to look in the middle of the cake to see if chocolate was there. Surprise... dig deep enough and there was some chocolate. This person identified themself as the cake maker and proceeds to justify their actions. Said I did not specify the sides. I have since messaged the Boardwalk Dairy Queen location twice and am being ghosted. I am including pictures to show the contact initiated by the cake maker and pictures to illustrate the difference in quality at the Boardwalk location this year compared to last year. Pic #1,2 = cake this year Pic #3,4,5 = text from cake maker Pic #6,7 = cake last year (same location) *** EDIT TO ADD: Tbe Boardwalk franchise has yet to respond. I have contacted Dairy Queen head office to inform them of the service I have received. Head office told me they are forwarding my message to the franchise owner and appropriate DQC personnel for their review. It’s been a week and still no response from the franchise BUT an another local DQ franchise owner (Weber & Ottawa Street) has reached out offering to make things right. Thank you David. Honestly it’s too bad. I used to come here a lot and it used to be clean and the food was good, now it’s absolutely filthy. The booth cushions are covered in spilled ice cream and debris, the floor is dirty, the windows are covered in fingerprints and the walls around the garbages are covered in food splatters. Even the cashiers’ area looked like it needed a wipe down. It’s really off putting when you’re trying to enjoy a meal and nothing looks sanitary. Luckily there are other locations that are much cleaner than this one

I have been disappointed more than once. This experience shows how they try to save money by giving you less than you pay for. This caramel Sunday is missing half of the topping. Look for a better place. Peanut butter parfait- almost no chocolate on top or bottom. There is no topping in the middle at all. This is just another disappointing visit. Choose any other location. They are so many better locations that can do it right.

This place has gone significantly downhill. Doesn’t look like this place has been cleaned in months and the washroom is in worse condition than most gas station bathrooms, Pretty sad considering this is a fast food restaurant. The one worker looks like he hasn’t taken a shower in weeks. Very gross.

Nice & clean, but staff is hard to understand. Only give you the minimal sauce, & charge for extra whereas the other DQ is more customer service oriented. Better bang for your buck at Westmount.

Do not order custom blizzard birthday cakes from this place! I ordered a Blizzard birthday cake. When I picked it up, the cake had no Reese butter cups around the trim, and no chocolate drizzle. I told them to add it when I picked it up but it was done sloppily but they did do it. When I got home and cut it there was no hot fudge in the centre which we discussed. Sadly I gave this place a second chance because I thought it was a one off thing as the same thing happened to another cake I ordered. But now that it happened twice it's like they do it on purpose. So buyer beware. You might cut your cake and get something you don't expect. Next time I will order at a different location. The people who work there are nice but they don't follow through on what you order. 1 star for sure!

If you don’t want to risk salmonella poisoning I suggest not eating here. We were served a chicken sandwich that was completely raw in the middle. When we went back and showed the staff they didn’t care at all. There was no apology even. All they had to say about it was that “the outside looked cooked”. We were not given a refund. All they did was replace the sandwich, which due to the experience of just having gotten a mouthful of raw chicken was the last thing that was wanted. I guess now we wait a few days with our fingers crossed and hope no one ends up in the hospital with food poisoning. I hope they enjoy the visit from the Health Unit they should be getting in the near future. 0 out of 10 … do not recommend.

The cake tasted great, but for $90, I expected more. The decoration was disappointing—the diagonal lines made the message nearly unreadable, which seems like an oversight. While I understand that decoration styles are set depending on the type of ice cream cake, a bit more thought could have gone into ensuring the message was clear. Additionally, the cake does not serve 25+ people as advertised; it's more suitable for 18, 20 at most.

We wanted to take out daughter for her first ice cream cone. We arrived at marble slab, ordered 1 cone, and two small bowls of ice cream. Within the time it took to walk from the counter to the sitting area outside everything was melted. It was a complete mess and we could not enjoy the ice cream at all. We had the throw it away immediately because it was just a mess. I don't understand how the ice cream was so warm right after being served. Not sure if it tasted good or not, because we had to throw it away. Very disappointed for a $30 purchase we couldn't enjoy

Tried marble slab ice cream for the first time and I must say it is fancy one not like DQ or BaskinR. I really liked how you can customize your ice-cream with your own choice of toppings and syrups! They have got toppings ingredients like nuts, fruits, gram cracker, marshmallows, sprinklers you name it! As well as bunch of flavoured syrups to add in your ice-cream! The flavour is influenced when they mix it all on a slab, so the flavour of the ice-cream comes out really nicely influenced. My favourite one so far is the Raspberry cheesecake ice-cream. I also liked their mango flavoured ice-cream but it’s a seasonal flavour so do not be disappointed if you don’t find it on your visit. They also have vegan option available. The staff were very helpful and informative as well. Overall it’s worth trying, and as many mentioned that their is a price point to it; yeah but the ice-cream is uniquely delicious 🙌

I found it to be a bit pricey, but most ice cream places tend to be. However the actual ice cream tasted great, the employees were nice, and there were a ton of different flavors and variations of ice cream and waffle cones/bowls. We enjoyed what we got, and there's a ton of stuff that we didn't try that it would be worth it to come back for.

The ice cream is good, but they have no dairy free or vegan options. They also have soda pops on display in the store, but none are cold, so they sell you a warm bottle of pop - kind of weird. Location is on the smaller side and tight to move around when it’s a little busy.

Been frequenting this MSC since it opened years ago, and it's been steadily declining in quality but today was the breaking point. The prices have continued to rise, service was very rude and they had run out of cones, yet still refused to give a waffle bowl instead without an additional charge. After almost 20 years of patronage I will not be returning.

Absolute waste of time and wayyy over priced. 1med super runny vanilla shake 1med melted ice cream with 2 flavors and 1small cup single flavored Total……. $25+ Also when my family and I left the store and said “have a good night girls”we were treated as if we were invisible to the staff. Highly priced items should be high quality items and they should be sold with a little more respect. Ps even baskin robins has branded spoons and employees who know basic manners.

Four All has very tasty ice creams with lots of great flavours to choose from, but my absolute favorite was the Affogato, highly recommended! The staff were friendly and offered good customer service, which made the visit enjoyable. There’s a nice patio and a couple of tables inside if you want to sit down. The only downside was that the tables inside weren’t as clean as I’d expect. Still, the quality of the ice cream and the overall experience make it worth a visit.

Recommended: oh my goodness! This ice cream never disappoints. It's a nice little ship with options for purchasing and taking home. They have dairy-free ice cream. All of the ice cream labels say what allergens are in them. And if they're made, they have gluten-free waffle cones. Right now, they are featuring ice cream tacos or nachos with two scoops, toppings of your choice, a drizzle of sauce and whipped cream. They have a dairy-free whipped cream. Inside the store is very limited seating, but the patio has several tables and chairs under a couple of large umbrellas. Accessibility shouldn't be a problem. They have an automatic button, flat surface at the threshold and an accessible bathroom. Plus, I love that the bathroom uses paper towels. I hate the hand dryers.

I love this place! There are always vegan options and everything is gluten free, which is amazing 🙌 And their waffle cones are gluten free AND vegan! I so wish the lemon coconut square flavour would be a permanent one - it blew my mind, it was soooo good!! Best ice cream place in town.

Four All Ice Cream is hands down the best spot for ice cream in KW! We tried their summer flavours of 2025, and every single one was absolutely beautiful and delicious. It is fresh, unique, and full of flavour. A special shoutout to Sarah. She’s amazing! Super kind, welcoming, and always makes the experience even better. She’s definitely the person to look for when you visit. This place has become my go-to for ice cream in Waterloo. Always fantastic, always top-notch. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favour and stop by. You’ll fall in love with their creations!🍨✨

I’ve been to Four All twice now and the ice cream is definitely some of the best I’ve had locally. Super rich and creamy. I tried their Hokey Pokey flavor (tastes kind of like Dalgona or butterscotch!) and I l o v e d it. Definitely coming back for that one again. I also tried their chocolate chip cookie dough flavor once and it was kind of underwhelming. The flavour was a bit plain. There were barely any cookie dough chunks in my cup — mostly just chocolate chips. Service-wise, it’s okay. Not overly friendly, and there can be a bit of a wait (up to 15 minutes) especially if there’s a promo or special event going on. But overall, a really solid spot for unique and creamy ice cream. I’ll be back to try more flavors!

For my birthday my family bought the vanilla cake. The caramel was so bad that we couldn’t finish our slices. Jump forward to my sister’s birthday and we ordered another cake hoping that the last cake was just a fluke. We were wrong. The caramel was less burnt but still tasted terrible. Really disappointing. The ice cream portion is quite delicious, but you shouldn’t have to eat around parts of a cake to enjoy it.

Great place to come on a hot day for a large variety of ice cream treats. They have a large selection of blizzards as well are ice cream pizzas and cakes. Don't suggest coming her for a meal tho. Even the food tastes ok the service is very slow compared to other fast food chains. Also the staff seem confused and untrained most of the time. Ice cream yes food no.

This location always makes me think they could do something better. A Blizzard is a Blizzard. The staff never seem too interested in their jobs. The state of the restaurant begs for a complete refurbishment. Please add Mobile Order.

Lines are always short and staff are really friendly. Their blizzards are mixed really well too, which sounds like a basic thing but I've had blizzards were the toppings are all at the top and it's plain ice cream at the bottom. I wish their chocolate dipped cone was dipped multiple times for a thicker layer of chocolate. You can also download the DQ app for coupons!

Unfortunately this location does not honor the barcode for points and the receipt they issue are anonymous as it does not have their name in the receipt. Spoke to the manager who understood my issue with this. She will speak to the owner as I will as well. Problem: Blizzard was melty before I even got it in my hand.

Do you guys know they’ve 2 for $5 deal which is on small sundaes and chicken snack sandwiches. They’re so worth it. We got two sundaes, two chicken snack sandwiches and a strawberry shake in just $15 and it was worth every single penny. Loved the strawberry sundae and shake. The best part about this place is the food is always served fresh and hot and the employees are way too kind, welcoming and friendly. Can’t wait to try more things. Thank you for your service.

I order oreo mocha fudge blizzard and it came out really nice. It was a mixture of oreo and other chocolate chips. But the service provided was not so good.

We literally arrived at closing time. We didn't notice the hours until after we were served. I apologized for being "that guy" . There were few choices of donuts left and also ice cream was low. Again, I get it, to be expected at the end of the day. I chose a Sweet & Salty Pretzel milkshake with a Salted Brown Butter Crunch donut lid and my wife also had the same donut. The donut is large and quite heavy, more like a bun. I'd prefer a lighter, fluffier donut. The donut itself doesn't have much flavor. All the flavors are in the icing and toppings. Also, I found the shake to be very thin. Could definitely use more ice cream. The flavor of the shake was also lacking however, I did like the mini pretzel nuggets that were coated in chocolate. The presentation is bang on, I just wish the flavors popped more. A while back they had a beautiful donut that tasted amazing. One of the best donuts I've had. It was blueberry basil. As well, they had another that had a slice of carrot cake on it. These were great donuts. The store itself is very cute and inviting, there are places to sit inside as well as outside and the servers were very polite and cheerful (even though we walked in last minute) Parking can be difficult to find out front as some of the parking has been converted into outdoor seating. You may need to park around back or across the street and walk a bit. Go early.

Their photos online overpromise on their donuts. I was especially disappointed with their mini egg donut. Online the chocolate looked thick and rich, but in person it was super runny and thin. Also got a blueberry fritter that tasted stale. We loved their donuts back in 2023, but have lately found ourselves saying "well, maybe it will be better next time." The only thing we were somewhat impressed with was the mud pie donut. They were also unable to fulfill this order for the previous weekend, so we pushed it by a week. Unfortunately that meant they had to cancel the order entirely, and we needed to reorder the same thing again (instead of just editing the pick up date, would be nice if that was possible). After we placed the new order (with tip) we discovered they didn't refund the tip on the original order (which we got nothing from). Thankfully after calling they were able to refund it, but it seemed very presumptuous of them to keep the original tip in the first place.

I recently visited Lady Glaze Donuts and had the chance to try their Apple Fritter and Beavertail Pie donut, and both were absolutely worth it. The Beavertail Pie donut stood out with its unique combination of flavors and textures. Topped with coconut shavings, a dark chocolate drizzle, and banana chips, it had a nice crispiness and a creative twist that made it truly one-of-a-kind. The flavor was rich yet balanced, making it a fun and memorable treat. The Apple Fritter was equally impressive—crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, with just the right amount of sweetness. It had a classic, comforting taste and is definitely a must-try for donut lovers. Basically, Lady Glaze offers some really creative and delicious options, and I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu.

They have delicious donuts baked right in the store, along with coffee and other baked goods. The staff are patient and kind, and it's definitely my go to spot for a cheat meal. It is more pricey than your conventional donut store worth it though.

Visited on a Saturday morning and there were lots of really wonderful choices available. The employee was lovely and so helpful. He even told us where to buy the adorable donut Christmas trees! 😍 These donuts aren't cheap but they really are worth the money for a treat. Yum!

Best donuts around! This spot is my birthday tradition every year, and the occasional just because treat as well. Always have great staple flavours as well as feature flavours to choose from. Very fresh, worth every penny! I’ve been the the Kitchener and the Guelph locations and both have been amazing.

Visiting this bakery today made my day! The coffee was absolutely delicious, and the treats were heavenly. I tried their pecan and chocolate tarts and also brought home their black forest roll, dinosaur cookie, and chocolate cake. Everything had the perfect level of sweetness. The black forest roll was my favorite with its surprisingly amazing sourcherry filling. The chocolate cake was my least favorite, because butter cream-even in the thinnest layers- is just not my thing. For fellow Persians looking for the perfect chocolate cake with fluffy chocolate ganache layers like 'BB cake' in town, this was not it. Keep looking! The prices were low, and the seating area was cozy, cute, and perfect for working. The staff were all friendly and a joy to talk to. The only downside was that my coffee and treats came in take-out containers. The best part of my experience was getting to chat with the owner, Klemens. He was so friendly and it was fascinating to hear about the history of the bakery and some of his life adventures. It really made my visit even more special! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here and can't wait to come back and try even more delicious treats!

We have lived in Waterloo our entire lives embarrassed to say only started frequenting this fantastic bakery since October 2024...We are regulars now. Everything is fresh and delicious. We buy bread weekly but have also indulged in some of their beautiful pastries 🍰 😍 I also have an addiction to their Berliner .I have tasted them in Germany and in my humble opinion B&B Basket is WAY better than in Germany ❤️🥰 Please give them a try you won't be disappointed 😁😘

Out of the way bakery with seating. It has a nice selection of breads, buns, cakes and other baked goods. They use only locally grown natural ingredients. I found the bread and treats..yummy.

Ok...sooooo...I love bakeries and this place popped up on my Google search and I thought I would try it out. All I can say is... Where have you been all my life! Well it has been right there pretty much all my life! It is an amazing bakery, I timed it just right to get a fresh french loaf that was just out of the oven....amazing! And I had a selection of their pastries which were awesome! Just go here and you will not regret it! I would have taken pictures of the pastries but they disappeared rather quickly...no idea why.😂

I've been coming here since 2000 for the pretzel buns, and they're just as delicious now as they were back then. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, and their cake is also excellent fresh and full of flavor.

The best part is that the price depends on how much your yogurt weighs, so you can control how much you want. They have a great selection of flavors and toppings, and everything tasted super fresh and delicious. It’s a fun and customizable treat – I’d definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the mood for something sweet!

I didn't have a great experience for my first time visiting. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was a putrid smell near the Froyo dispensers. It's smell like dirty feet. I wanted to walk out but I went with a friend who was excited to try this location. I'm not sure where the smell was coming from as there were no other customers inside. I tried 3 different flavors of the Froyo and they all tasted exactly the the same. Like plain chocolate and vanilla. The toppings variety was good. I wanted fresh fruit but I noticed a few flies Landing on the fresh fruit toppings. So I stuck with dry toppings that had a lid on them..I didn't get much because I had lost my appetite at this point. My friend who filled his cup about 3/4 of the way ended up paying $40 for his frozen yogurt. Which is ridiculous. I asked him if it was at least worth the price and he admitted that is wasn't great. Mine ended up tasting like regular chocolate and vanilla foryo that I could have probably got for $8 and the supermarket. However mine was about $17. It wasn't really with it. They whole experience was very off putting. Didn't seem hygienic in there

They used to give kid-sized cups which helps so much with portion control when I want a snack and not a meal's worth of frozen yogourt. But I can't help but frequent this location, I need to get my frozen yogourt fix. I also like to use coupons (BOGO free, 25% off) from a coupon book that comes out every year.

Great place to get some 'Build-Your-Own' Froyo dessert cup. They have a variety of Frozen Yogurt flavours and SO many topping options. You basically pick a bow, go around the area to mix-match different Froyo flavors and then add toppings of your choice and quantity. Good part about this place is that you can control the quantity of froyo and toppings along with the choice. When done, the cashier will weigh the entire cup and charge you as per weight. They also have cheesecake slices but have never tried those. They are situated in a small plaza that has many other eateries around so you can grab food and grab a dessert at Menchies OR just get a big bowl of Froyo! They also have parking on the side & back side which is easily accessible.

I recently visited Baskin Robbins and ordered a mango smoothie, enticed by their claim of using real fruits. To my dismay, after drinking the smoothie, my throat swelled up, and I experienced significant pain and cough. It was evident that they did not use real mangoes but some artificial flavoring, which one can tell by just one sip. I even observed the preparation process and saw no real fruit being used, unlike other brands like Freshly Squeezed that genuinely use real fruit. After paying $9.12, I am highly disappointed with Baskin Robbins. I expected a natural, healthy smoothie and instead got a painful experience. I will not be returning.

would be a 0 if I could. whichever lady was closing tonight was unprofessional and disrespectful. My parents and I come here almost every weekend for a milkshake after dinner and are greeted every time by the same LOVELY gentleman who makes us the most delicious milkshakes. Tonight however, we were helped by a different lady. We were served very watered down milkshakes that tasted like straight milk. Only one of them was completely undrinkable (tested by all 3 of us) - wrong consistency and flavour. We had kindly asked to just leave it there and not pay as we wouldn’t drink it. (didn’t ask for a remake or anything else). The lady kept arguing with us that is was not her fault and by this point the kind gentleman we always see was there and had been agreeing with us. She tried to insist we needed to pay for a drink we wouldn’t drink, because she made it incorrectly. The part that really rubbed us the wrong way though, was the fact that she started to complain about us in another language we couldn’t understand for about 2 minutes. This left us in a very uncomfortable position just standing around waiting for them to tell us what was going on in english. (Both of their english was great by the way and we were conversing just fine in english before, hence why we were so caught off guard by the switch)

Would not recommend this location. Worker/owner is rude and puts one scoop of ice cream in top of cone and leaves the whole bottom empty. This results in the cone cracking the second they hand it to you. I would recommend the highland road location. Much better owner.

I bought a $10 milkshake and it had the consistency of milk ( not even a little think) and a hint of flavour. Not impressed with the lack of ice cream. Should have read the reviews before going

I would not recommend Baskin Robbin’s , especially at this location. One scoop of ice cream, is like a half a scoop, very small in what looks like a baby cup. The price was ridiculous for what you get, and the ice cream was not very good.

We ordered a Birthday cake for our Daughter. We expected a slight variation from photo to cake but what we received was just awful!! The writing was all over the place with thin spots, thick spots and hard to read. The lines were not clean on the side at all and parts didn't even go all the way around the cake. Also was to be a half cake half ice cream but got an all ice cream cake! When asked for a refund we were told we can have an ice cream cone or a $10 giftcard.

I haven't had B&R Ice cream for years and actually haven't been in their stores for perhaps close to fifteen years, so it was a pleasant experience this trip. The staff were extremely friendly at this location - all young men working behind the counter when we went at 11pm. We tried a few samples and settled on a chocolate and peanut butter scoop, chocolate fudge scoop and Jamoca Almond Fudge. As can be expected, all great tasting, fresh and full of flavor. In terms of this branch, it was very well kept, clean, organized and spacious. I'd definitely recommend this location.

I've been a loyal customer of Baskin Robbins for years, and they never disappoint! The delicious ice cream comes in a fantastic variety of flavours. The newly renovated store creates a fresh atmosphere, and the friendly staff always helps me choose my next favourite. They are also very generous with the scoops! Baskin Robbins is my go-to spot for dessert bliss! Highly recommend!

I wanted to take a moment to commend Frhaan at Baskin-Robbins for his outstanding customer service. My brother and I visit every weekend, and Frhaan always greets us with such a warm and genuine smile. He has a remarkable way of making us feel not just welcomed, but truly valued, as if we were the owners ourselves! His kindness and positive attitude create a delightful atmosphere, and it's clear he takes pride in his work. Frhaan's exceptional service is truly the best I've ever experienced. He turns a simple ice cream run into a highlight of our week.

Always have a great experience here and the kids love the ice cream. So patient as we try and figure out what flavours we want and the kids change their mind. I also did my daughter birthday cake a few years back from here and it turned out amazing and they did a wonderful job communicating with me. Love going here for ice cream with the kids.

Visited on Saturday, July 12. The ice cream was yummy and the people working were so friendly and sweet. It’s a bit out of our way but will stop back on the next hot day because the 3 people working (2 guys and a woman) were so great.

This location had the most amazing staff, they are all so kind and we choose coming here over other places because of that also the ice cream is always great!

Albert is the best donut shop ever! Beautiful store, amazing friendly staff super accommodating we thoroughly enjoy going to the donut shop. Whether it’s for a Saturday morning car ride to get a doughnut or if it’s grabbing boxes of donuts on cottage trips! Never disappoint. If you haven’t been do yourself a favour and go, your kids will love it and so will you I know I’m a sucker for a Dutchie they’re Dutchess are the best. Not that any other other donuts are not amazing because they’re all delicious.

We just had a rep from BadgerDaylighing bring us boxes of Albert’s doughnuts to our Defaveri job site. Let me tell you something……… These guys (Albert’s) blew everyone outta da wata!!! Da man has got perfection in his blood line. This has to be one of my first and foremost favourite doughnut shop/bakery. To find out they have 41 different kinds!!! Yes !!! 41!!! The lemon meringue donut is life altering. If you know you know. Hats off to the Badger rep that brought us these exquisite baked goods. You are definitely top 5 best donuts next to baker bobs in Sauble beach (which isn’t around anymore ) flavour consistency and out of this world choices of amazing baked goods. Absolutely thrilled to have this experience. If you don’t know…….. ya have to go check it out. Not one bad choice in 41 different flavours. Krispy Kreme who? Hamilton specialty donut shops watch out There is a new Nieghbour with amazing baked goods. It’s worth the drive to Cambridge. Let me tell ya …. Wow! We were visiting from Michigan and I can easily say these are the best donuts I have ever had, anywhere. Fresh and tasty! We tried 3 donuts and a twist. We will be back again for sure. Bonnie was wonderful to talk with as well - she’s delightful and very helpful.

This is a really darling cafe! The owners and cook put a lot of care into the food. I’ve eaten brunch here and I ordered a crepe cake for my husband’s birthday. The cake was out of this world! It was pricey but such a special treat. I highly recommend trying a crepe cake from here for your special occasions. I ordered the raspberry filled version and it was outstanding.

It is such a cute little Cafe. I absolutely loved the ambience and the food was super good! The way they have paintings all over the place caught my eye and they even have them on sale so that customers are able to purchase it, it’s actually a good advertising idea. We tried the Chicken ceaser wrap which was the best I've ever had until now. We also tried the Crepes and waffles and they were delicious and everything was so fresh. The chef was really sweet and we will definitely be going back there for sure!

Well then you really should go to this little gem of a place and try the 30$ (after taxes and with ice cream included) "OMG crepe". (Yes, absolutely Get the scoop of ice cream to go with it) It will be the most satisfying 30$ you've ever spent. Trust me. If you don't actually say the words "oh my god" at least 2-3 times while eating it? something is wrong with your tastebuds.... 😏 Hand made milkshakes and smoothies here are also to die for. So yeah. Maybe not a place your wallet (or waistline) can afford to be going to every day....but when you want to treat yourself to something fantastic? Look no further.

Best crepes I ever had. Freshly made from scratch. Very friendly environment. Had “Breakfast Crepes” and wife had “Italian Crepes”. It was so good we had to have another. Had “Mediterranean Crepe”. Just great food…delicious.

Delicious made from scratch crepes! We had a dessert crepe and the jerk chicken crepe. Amazing flavour for the jerk chicken! Even the ice cream for the dessert crepe was made in house! Lemonade and milkshakes were also top notch! Owner was very friendly and served us with a smile! We will be back!

The GF veggie crepe is incredible! It's made with buckwheat flour and is loaded with veggies and hummus. This is a guilt free meal out for me :)

An absolutely amazing place! The food was delicious and so different! Plus it was baby friendly. There was room for us to have the strollers and there is a lovely change table set up in the bathroom. My friend and I had savoury crêpes (one which was gluten&dairy free) and I had a hot chocolate as well. Plus I got a cannoli crêpe to go. It is not cheap but the price is reasonable considering how fresh everything is! I definitely will be coming back!
