The 33 best restaurants to have dinner in Reutte

We have been sitting here for more than 90 min, ordered 4 Pizzas, it better be the best pizza ever.... Edit: After complaining twice, (and the first part of this review) the food arrived, clearly they had forgotten... Was ok, but it would have been nice to at least have them acknowledged it. When we complain, they apologize and gave us a small Schokobon.... Super sad, because food was actually ok.

We ate here only pizza for 7 persons and we recommend the pizza, but we didn't like the services of waiters, when we came to ask them if we can eat there, they seems very surprised, they stay and smoke and we are trying to open an umbrella because it start raining. One of them didn't speak English and didn't know how to explain us about the food in the menu( and we are talking about a tourist area were is normal to know an international language).

Moderately friendly waiter, but quite welcoming staff. Pasta was a bit too aggressively flavoured, pizza is nothing special. Normal to low price range. Paid 22 euros for a two people including one beverage per person. On the upside, we had no problem finding a table on a friday evening. Conclusion: Wouldn't necessarily recommend, but also this review is just based on one visit, so don't take my word for it:)

Do not let the appearance of the restaurant fool you. The food was fantastic, quite possibly the best Italian my family and I had in Europe Friendly, outgoing staff as well!

Pizza was excellent but I've never dined at any restaurant where we felt so unwelcome. The only exception was the hostess who showed us to our seats. She was very nice. We are visitors to beautiful Austria and love this region. While I know we should know the language spoken in any country we visit, in German-speaking countries I am not proficient. So if you speak German well, I am sure you will have a better experience. Otherwise I would not dine here again sadly.

We have stayed in this hotel with 2 kids in April 2025 to visit Neuschwanstein castle. Awesome room configuration with 2-story kids room. Rooms are clean and quiet. Staff is kind and nice. But the special attention to be paid to restaurant, it’s definitely worth visiting for dinner, restaurant provides Austrian cuisine with modern twist. Highly recommended.

We have been eating here after a hiking tour as a group of 6 women. The Restaurant is „old style Austrian Alpine“. I cannot recommend to eat here. 4 out of 6 glases were so dirty that we had to return and get fresh drinks, the sizes on the plates are ok, the quality of food is the bare minimum. Two plates were served with hair on it, served bread was old and bread slices were dried already - pls see images. The food tasted okayish for us as we were really hungry otherwise I would have returned the food.

Stayed here for a quick weekend trip during the summer. The room was perfect and affordable for a single traveler. The staff were super friendly and spoke English. The restaurant on site has one of the best meals I've had so far in Europe. They served fresh local dishes.

They don't have rooms. The diner meal was presented very nicely, but the venison meat didn't taste like anything. Big disappointment 😞. And they served my dessert without any spoon or fork and let me wait a long time.

Our family spent 1 night at Aplenhotel Ernberg in late December. The restaurant is wonderful!! Best meal of our entire trip. The room was clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed having a bathtub! The WiFi worked well in the entry vestibule of our room but did not work very well in the room itself. The room had a comfortable chair, so my husband just moved that to the vestibule of our room when he needed to work for a bit using WiFi. We will be back!

Wonderful traditional Tyrolean hotel with popular restaurant. Family rooms have sperate kids room if you are lucky and are very spacious. Everything in perfect condition and impeccably clean. Restaurant has an extensive list of local and Austrian favourites, all perfectly prepared and in huge quantities.

Conveniently located and well appointed, this is a great place to stay. The owner and his employees are amazing and make sure you feel happy and comfortable. The food and drinks are fantastic, and the hotel bar environment is very friendly and fun

Stopped here on our way back from Neuschwanstein and we were so glad we did! Our whole group was delighted by the food and enchanted by the beautiful little town it’s in. Amazing locally sourced Austrian food. Our waiter was awesome and we had such a pleasant time. If you’re a tourist they also speak English perfectly.

Like many others, passing through the beautiful Alps when we stumbled on this place. The food was amazing and drinks where even better! Frank and Sonja where the friendliest hosts. We definitely plan on putting this in our yearly circuit.

The food was bland. It tasted like freezer food warmed up in a microwave with no seasoning. The owner was extremely rude and tried to intimidate us. We told him that our food wasn’t well seasoned. After we paid he came to our table and talked down to us for us saying the food was under seasoned and threatened us not to put on a bad review. He then went on to talk rudely to my wife, kids and I as we left. He scared my kids. Bad food and even worse service. Do not give a Euro, Dollar, etc. of your money to that man.

DO NOT VISIT!! We went to this restaurant because of the good reviews. Our food was very bland and overall very underwhelming. It was essentially freezer food warmed up in a microwave that had no seasoning on it. When the server asked us how our food was, we politely said that it did not seem to be very well seasoned. After paying our bill, a male server then came out and talked down to us for our assessment of the food. He said everyone else loves their food and we were wrong; to leave and don't dare to write a negative review. He was trying to intimidate us the whole time and made rude gestures towards my in-laws, wife, and kids as we left. My kids were scared.

We bumped into this restaurant by accident, but what surprised me the most was that they said they could make almost any dishes we ordered into a vegetarian version without onion or garlic. So we ordered a few dishes, and they indeed made delicious vegetarian food for us. I highly recommend this place—especially if you follow a no-onion, no-garlic vegetarian diet. Plus, it looks like there’s skiing nearby, so I believe it’s a great choice overall.

We hear about this restaurant on Google before we came to Ruette for a weekend stay. The food was so fabulous on the first day, we went back the next!! The food is fresh and delightful. It is gourmet cooking. I recommend this to any foodies out there, it is more than worth your time to stop and have a great meal. We will vome back for sure when we visit again, which i hope is soon.

Excellent views and great service make this a must stop over after a day of hiking or skiing. The Kaiserschmarren was to die for (and was just like grandmas according to several of our table). Overall great food and drink at pretty reasonable prices for a tourist town. Highly recommend.

If you are not German, don't even bother coming here. The food was okay - nothing special, but decent. The service, though… absolutely terrible. There's no English menu (seriously, in tourist area?), and the waiter spoke English only when forced — and even then, switched back to German after a few seconds after some glitches in his dumb head. Every time I said "English please", he'd give me one short answer, then drift back into German mid-sentence. No effort to help, no suggestion of dishes, no interest in what we wanted. Mobile signal barely works there, no Wi-Fi, so we had to painfully translate the menu ourselves. When we asked something, he'd reply while walking away, without even stopping or looking at us. We tried to order dessert together with the main dish — he flat out refused, said he "won't remember it." When we asked about dessert later — the apple strudel with "sahne"— he argued that sahne wasn't whipped cream (spoiler: it was), rolled his eyes, and acted annoyed the whole time. Guess what? "Sahne" was whipped cream. The guy looked pissed off the entire time, like serving non-Germans was beneath him. Bottom line: if you're not local, they make sure you feel unwelcome. Dear owners, just put a sign on the door saying "Tourists not welcome" and save everyone's time. Having no English menu with only ~25 dishes is just your pure laziness.

Food not bad, not great either. Wiener schnitzel comes with no veggies or salad. Service was really good, very friendly staff. Outdoor terrace is very comfortable, inside more cosy. Hugo tasted to sweet and had not enough sparkling in it.

We had such a great dinner here- highly recommend! The staff were very friendly, the food was exzellent, there was a great indoor kids play area, and one of the only places we found servier Kaiserscharrm in the Summer months.

One of the best salads I've had in a long time - everything is veggie and customisable (can add meat if you need). A little expensive but we came back because it was so good!

I ate grilled filet steak that day with vegetables. The steak was perfectly made. I ordered it well done and it was evenly on the point. Super tender and soft. Perfect! I can definitely recommend the restaurant.

Everything was top class! Starting from greeting with owner(i guess owner) and the toilets ( i never seen such clean toilets before! They even had hygiene products in ladies toilet incl sanitary pads various size!) Everything was spotless! Food delicious! We had huge portion of snitzels i was not able even to finish it. Our family enjoyed having dinner at Hirschbachalm. Great service and excellent food in a nice Bavarian atmosphere! We chose the shared dinner for four - a great choice!

It is place for local people (at least during summer). First impression is unfriendly staff, not nice place but get few beers and already people start smiling at you and they onboard you and welcome you. Their food was tasty and for good price. As well great kids outdoor area.

Fantastisches Essen/ fantastic food. The chef Andy made amazing vegan and vegetarian food for us. It is totally worth the hike. He could easily be chef in a 5star restaurant. Go and visit! This hotel if absolutely tops in every aspect. The rooms were lovely and spacious and we had a gorgeous view over the lake. The staff is very professional and good. The food for breakfast and dinner is excellent, delicious and with perfect service. It was a very pleasant week to spend at Via Salina.

Perfect place for week in pair, a beautifull valley with many "reasonable" hikes. Hotel without any weakness: nice staff, perfect facilities including pool and saunas and last but not least food - we enjoy everything.

Terribly unfriendly staff. Refused to explain to me and my son what the local dishes exactly were (menu only in German), refuse or unable to speak a word of anything else than German. When we finally decided what dish we wanted (looking it up on the internet), I signalled to the waiter who's only reaction was a facial expression of annoyance and further ostensibly ignoring us. We finally left without ordering. Great pity because great location of course, but the disastrous staff just fouled everything up.

Very nice bar restaurant. Lovely views, even amazing. Relaxed staff. Many vegetarian and vegan options, plus the regular classics. All the food we had was excellent. The Stiegl on tap is to die for. Acces by hikjng 1.5hours or via the gondola. Prices are fair.

The restaurant is beautiful but staff are really unfriendly. And what kind of food they offer you is just depends on the mood of them. I booked a 2 ppl breakfast for my friends, and 2+3 breakfast for me and my other friends in another day. What qualities we got are really not understandable(pls see from my pictures).It was very pity for me, I really love the view but with the unfriendly staff,I must say it was very uncomfortable experience.

Good hotel! We stayed in Edelweiss for 7 days. The food was usually good. The service in the restaurant was variable, some were kind, a few others were not zo friendly/polite. Breakfast was huge and tasty. Our room was excellent. Sauna and Hallenbad were extremely relaxing after a long hike. Great environment for mountain hikes.

We recently stayed here with friends. Our impressions on arriving were pleasant and friendly reception. Instructions too the car park, ski lockers and rooms were crystal clear. We have just two negative things too mention. One is the out door people and it's ability to hold hot temperatures in the nighttime and due to the fact the staff kinda pre close it around 8pm too make it look like it's not operating any longer. I wished it remained open for a greater time period and was up to temperature. The second minus would be the breakfast buffet. Lacking of fresh authentic salads, assortment of fish? and maybe offer some breakfast sausages of different times from the region. But it retrospect we were satisfied with the impression of the place and the facilities and amenities were amazing. Super friendly owner and everything is in order.

The staff is ridiculously friendly and helpfull. The location is between the mountains, im a runner and i went for a lot of runs here with good climbs. The pool is large enough to train in, by the wau the view from the pool on the mountains is breathtaking... The breakfast was excellent, the evening restaurant was good. Thanks for the good stay!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Edelweiss for four nights a week ago . The hotel is wonderful , large and interesting . The Brekfast and dinner were the BEST we have ever had in Europe !!! There was so much choice at breakfast and the half board menue was lovely every night . Our room was large and comfortable with a sofa and so much space to hang clothes and drawers to put things in , also a safe . We asked for a kettle and it arrived with two cups a few minuets later . The staff were all very frienly and accommodating We hope to return next June . We didn't use the pool or sauna etc but it all looked very nice .

Very nice pizzeria with stone oven. Served by the owner and was very pleasant. The menu is reasonable, the drink list also. Upon order, drinks are brought immediately, ordered food in half an hour. Excellent food, pizza also. Prices are reasonable. Upon another visit to Bichlbach, you will definitely go to dinner again.

Call and book appointment before going there. We had travelled 50km+ and we found this restaurant along our route with a small detour and we were super hungry, we were asked to "maybe" come back next day as that day the place was 2x full. The ambiance was good, the food smelled delicious, but unfortunately since we didn't get the table, we returned and that's why 2 star.

Pasta dishes didn’t seem fresh. Pesto was jar-pesto. They said for pizza we probably had to wait 15 -30 min. We waited for over an hour to get sub average food. All ordered-in pizzas were handled first. Pizza was also average at best. The place looked super dated. And not in a quaint way. Would not go here again.

We had our lunch there today, the food was excellent and the host was friendly and very helpful. If you are looking for somewhere to eat, I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Pizzas were not the best quality: if you ordered a pizza with garlic some taste of garlic would be expected but it was none. Asked for spicy oil to season the pizza but the oil was in no way spicy. Wines (white) were good.

Unfortunately this was my worst experience in Austria, never had a more hostile welcome, never, ever tasted a worst Pizza, i won't come back here nor will recommend anyone to try it. I don't know who manages this place but should have a look on his business.

Thats a beautiful small hut located not very far from Reutte in Tirol railway station. Good thing is it is open in winter as well. It offers great view of the amazing mountains. Also one will cross the amazing Urisee while walk up to this hut. An easy and fantastic tour.

Such a lovely hut with great views over the valley. It's quite accessible to anyone with a mountain bike or stroller.

Grab an e-bike, cruise up to this spot, and prepare to be blown away by the jaw-dropping view. The service is top-notch, guaranteeing an awesome experience all around.

They served me a piece of pie. I almost broke my teeth eating it, because there were 5 hard things in it. Turns out, they were cherry pits. Upon mentioning it, they first tried: we mentioned it didn't we? Then they said, we don't live in the us, i can't go around warning people of everything, eating fish (im a vegetarian) is dangerous too?! Not even a sorry! Very bad experience and wouldn't go back to a place that doesn't care about my health and safety.

Great value for money. We came to shelter from the rain and with ordering a large Weihenstephaner (just €3.90) we were offered a free schnapps. Also the food is lovely; a proper currywurst for €5 is great when on a long hike. This Alm is either the return point or a resting point, depending on the hike you're taking (information at the tourist information). Would recommend when visiting the Reutte area.

First ke when we enter stuff was so not friendly . In the end we find out it was owner of the place, when I asked sit on the table next to window : he answer me NEIN, without explain ressson ! I order food and after 30 second I want to cancel , cause attitude of the owner and they have only 2-3 positions available. In the end he said very rude way , what it’s not possible . From wine they also have one option , in buffet was no plates , when we ask to bring its take too much time ….When they bring food , it was sooooo OILY !!! Highly not recommend this place !

Very nice restaurant in North Tyrol. The dishes are very good and the portions are quite generous. Simon: Here I ordered some really good Käsespatzle (price €12.90) and was able to take advantage of the salad buffet to satiate myself even better. Loved our server he was very nice, funny and friendly. The food is very yummy and the snitzel was delicious. I ordered the noodles and they were quite good. Recommend as a yummy place to eat.

Amazing location directly on the Lechweg trail. Very nice Owner who knows flawless English and helped us with our order. They didn’t have anything cooked when we arrived which was fine since we are vegetarian and happily ate from the salad bar. I had a large coke and my wife had seltzer water. Owner brought out some amazing hot buttered bread. All in all great service right on the Lechweg. Pricing: Two salads — one large one small, two drinks and bread was 30+ bucks. Seemed steep since we had been paying that for a full dinner up the valley all week. Pro tip—-ask for prices < you order.

I chose this restaurant based on recent positive reviews for a celebration/dinner with my family. My first impression was a “wow effect” - I would have expected something like that in a much larger ski resort or city. Unfortunately, the first impression did not last long. Even though we had a reservation confirmed online, no one warned me that the time we could stay in the restaurant was limited. In our case, 90 minutes. Which, given the speed of the service and the kitchen/chefs, meant one main course and dessert. This was truly the first restaurant where the staff threw us out of the table. So, in short, if you are a fan of good food that you will wait a long time for and finish eating/drinking by the time the staff tells you it is time to leave - try it.

Und soviel dürfen wir sagen, die erhaltenen Tipps waren allesamt super. Unser absolutes Highlight aber war der Besuch der Zugspitze zum Sonnenuntergang (im übrigen ein Tipp von Barbara). Das muss man einmal im Leben gesehen haben. Gerne kommen wir wieder in das Chalet Tannenhof. Dann allerdings im Winter, um die Pisten der Zugspitz-Arena zu erkunden. Darauf, auf das Chalet Tannenhof und auf unsere beiden Gastgeber Barbara und Walter freuen wir uns heute schon.

This is a classic, family-run Swiss Hotel. The proprietors are wonderful and knowledgeable. The rooms are spacious by European standards. It is well-located for exploring. The restaurant and bar are comfortable, and while we only had breakfast, the food and dining service was great. Whether looking for an overnight stop on your journey or a home base for exploration in the region, Hotel Maximilian is a great choice.

We travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels, many of which have been wonderful. But there is only one hotel where we would like to return, this is the Maximilian Hotel. Thanks to the efforts of the family, now the second generation running the hotel, and especially Gabi, this hotel has its own special atmosphere. We celebrated the New Year and spent one week there and were just surrounded by such care and attention as if we were all one family. Excellent cuisine, sincere hospitality and friendliness, the wonderful location of the hotel makes your stay there unforgettable and comfortable. This is a traditional, family run Austrian hotel. It is children friendly, serves a wonderful breakfast, and has overall nice rooms, amenities and staff.

If Europe has a soul its heart can be found in Ehenbichl, Austria. The Hotel Maximilian embodies that spirit. The service is exemplary, the hotel is charming and the breakfast is fantastic. The owners are on staff and willing to share their generations of knowledge on the places to go. A retro five star that beckons the likes of Audry Hepburn and Cary Grant! What a pleasant surprise!

Hotel Maximillian is an outstanding hotel in a beautiful part of Austria. Gabi, Julia, Sarah were wonderful and we felt very welcomed by them. The rooms were comfortable and incredibly clean. They provided excellent assistance in making plans for local activities and sightseeing. The breakfast provided was incredible with numerous options - all delicious. We also greatly enjoyed the restaurant in the evening for dinner. While we normally do not eat all meals in our hotel, the numerous nearby activities exhausted us and we were glad to have such a convenient and exceptional restaurant to use in the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and cannot wait for the opportunity to return myself.

I stayed here a few days ago to visit family in Rüette. We slept the hotel but also had quite a few gatherings at the bar and for dinner. Gaby was so helpful in helping us with what ever our needs were. Her English is excellent, her hospitality is the best. Her warm friendly welcome made us feel very comfortable right away. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Every meal that we had at Maximillian was exceptional in preparation and service. Our gatherings with our family were so nice and we now have wonderful new cherished memories of Austria and our Austrian family. Thank you Gaby!

The service, however, might have been even better. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely kind. The setting was wonderful too. The scenery around the restaurant gave us the perfect backdrop to relax and enjoy our meal. We had been driving home from Italy and stopped here just for a quick bite, but once we sat down, we didn’t want to leave. As a family of eight, it’s never easy to find a place that can accommodate us so quickly, and even harder to find one that makes us feel comfortable right away. But here, everything clicked. The team treated us with such respect and care, and they absolutely adored our kids being there—which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Nothing was out of place, not a single detail overlooked. It felt effortless, seamless, and genuinely perfect from start to finish. This is the kind of restaurant you remember long after you’ve left. We’ll most definitely visit again, and I recommend anyone traveling through to stop by—you won’t regret it!

Came in from a rainy afternoon for lunch. We each had a salad and spinach stuffed pasta. The salad was delicious with a wonderful, light dressing. The pasta was amazing. Freshly made and so tasty. Such a special restaurant in a small village.

First time trying Cevapcici and it was SO good. Bouncy and juicy meat with great savory flavor. The citron lemonade was exceptional and we haven’t been able to find anything like it.

The food is delicious and authentically Austrian. I highly recommend the Käsespätzle and Chicken Schnitzel. You won’t be disappointed.

After the Highline activity, we were pretty hungry. It was by chance we went inside, was crowded but the male staff was accommodating to us. We were 4 adults and 3 kids. Although we waited for sometime before we got our order, even waited for menu card to arrive. But the food was really really good. Everything we ordered was prepared well and tasted also well. We refrained from any schnitzel food, as we had read reviews from other guests that it was not so fresh. Nevertheless, you can try yourself. Recommended is Puten Steak, (although Bastmati Rice was no basmati rice), Kaesespaetzle was another good dish. Overall, worth having a go, when around at Highline and Hungry after the day out over there. One star less, for wait times, they could improve on that, we could see the potential to improve.

Wanted some schnitzel after spending the entire day at the castles. This popped up with great reviews. I was highly pleased!! The town is very cute. This little spot had super quick service. The food was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and sweet and attentive. Very affordable! And not the high prices like you see near the castles. Highly recommended the 10 min drive to this little spot! The area directly around this is open to locals only for parking, so you do need to be mindful that you’ll have to park a little way away but not too far. Less than a 10 min walk.

What a find was this restaurant!! We had dinner our last night here and we shared a salad and had the Mac and cheese and the Wiener schnitzel and local bier! Nice hotel with pleasant rooms. However, the bar / restaurant was woefully understaffed. Sat at the bar for 15 minutes waiting for a beer then when we asked for a table for a were asked to wait again. To top it off, had a salad and found a small insect crawling about on the lettuce. Tried to talk to the staff about it but they were too stressed to be interested.

Nice place with a great austrian atmosphere. The staff had put a baby bed in our room by them self. That was a nice gesture. The hotel and the room was very clean. You can tell that the staff does a serious job maintaining this place. The food in the restaurant was good. I would like to come back on another travel trough Austria.

A lovely hotel in a gorgeous setting with spectacular views from my room. Staff were friendly and the food was good. Only two draught beers to choose from though and the wheat beer proved to be much tastier. Odd that we couldn't set up a tab for our rooms as we were going to be here for a couple of nights. It was here that I discovered that I had.left my jacket at home and the weather was cool and it started to rain. A ten minute walk into the town centre was fruitful though and I bought myself a new waterproof/windproof jacket and a small umbrella. Guess what though? I didn't have to use either for the duration of my trip over the next fortnight!

We've eaten here for several decades. The quality of the service and the food remains exceptional. The location is idyllic. It's worth coming here an hour or so before your meal to take a stroll along the Heiterwanger See. Nestled between high peaks, it is a beautiful walk to work up an appetite. Or digest the delicious food the Bunte Family serves up.

Cannot comment on hotel part as we did not stay there HOWEVER the food was out of this world!!! The owner/operator was spot on with service and seriously, the food was AMAZING! The location is stunning right along an alpine lake and the alps. My husband and I shared the pike fish dish (caught daily right out of the lake) as well as the turkey schnitzel..delish! If you like desserts, this place its own menu! Wish we could go back for seconds!

Let’s start about the sublime location. Absolute stunning at the Plansee between the mountains. Interior is ready for a makeover to match the splendid location. Bathrooms have had a beautiful makeover and are very pretty. Unfortunately the food is below any level you might expect. Straight from the whole sale supplier; mixed, heated onto the plate. That is fine but the prices are top market. Amsterdam and Berlin centre and best restaurant in Fussen and Augsburg charge the same prices for food. But in those places you get really well cooked meals from high quality products. Made by chefs who love to make great food. Here it feels like charging maximum by giving the minimum. And that is not what this location deserves. Staff is friendly but untrained and have no idea how to handle a dissatisfied guest. I sent the food back to the kitchen; no questions to how and why. Don’t eat here until owner lowers the prices or raises the quality or the food.

We had dinner here and stayed one night. Food was good, rooms were clean and spacious. My only gripe and feedback is that the staff was very cold, bordering on unfriendly. Could be a language barrier thing, but work a bit more on customer service and this place could be a solid 5/5.

A typical Austria restaurant with friendly staff and outside a great view on the top of the mountains. Prices are absolute okay and not very expensive. The menu is clear and the you have a good choice of different dishes. The meal was tasty, especially the fish was on point and the sauce complete the whole food!

Delicious, and more upmarket than I expected. Large portions, friendly hostess. Sit in the garden for a relaxed pub-like feel, or inside for a more fine dining experience. Had Surf and Turf, Tortellini, and Cordon Bleu, and they were all delicious. Inexpensive, especially for the quality, quantity, and variety you get.

We stopped for a while to have a lunch. A place where you can eat simple Austrian food ( not so much to choose in the menu) Everything what we ordered was warm and tasty. We also ordered their cheese and milk! I absolutely can recommend it!

The food was nice but it seems one of the waitresses is not found of foreigners, even more if they try to pay by card (other customers could I was not “allowed” to without any explanation, although they have a card reader). On the top of that she just assumed that the change from cash payment was her tip. Hopefully, it makes day and she treats the next foreigner better.

On the positives 1) Remote location, in the mountains & forests, fantastic 2) good breakfast, dinner i have not tried. 3) good if you need to also work a bit (good wifi, calm places to work) 4) free electric vehicle chargin On the negatives: 1) Paying for the parking in the middle of nowhere, seriously? 2) Don't expect a big Spa & Fitness. Photos are very advantageous on the hotel site. Pool is tiny, fitness almost none existent, and overall not in a good environment (feels like a city pool) 3) Rooms are a bit special. Bit small. No balcony. Small bathroom. Lighting is "ecological" so pretty dark. 4) We got stuck in city down the valley at 8pm just with bikes at the end of an exhausting bike ride, and hotel declined to shuttle us back (even at a fee). Not a good service.

It seems like a family-friendly hotel too so lots of kids are running around and making noise early in the morning. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a quiet stay. It’s a bit in the middle of nowhere which is not necessarily a bad thing but be mindful of the fact that most grocery shops and restaurants will require a bit of a drive.

We stopped here overnight on our trip to Southern Germany. Absolutely breathtaking. From the views, the secluded location, the amazing fine dining, and plenty of entertainment to keep everyone occupied. They have an indoor swimming pool sauna and nice gym so you don't miss any of your favorite things to do. Outside, they have a large chess board, disc golf, and of course hiking. The rooms were very clean and well prepared for guests. The staff is the best we've dealt with on all of our travels. And my favorite part of it all is the price! We are a family of 5 and needed two rooms. What we paid for with the rooms and dinner was more than reasonable. I highly, highly recommend this place. It is 30 minutes from neuschwanstein and 90 minutes from dachua with gorgeous views in the alps. I can not say enough good about this place. If you want to pamper yourself, come here. You won't regret it.

It's a nice hotel in the middle of mountain owned by BMW group. It really nice, has a pool, sauna, playground for children. The room is full of wood which is really nice. The breakfast is just a standard hotel. However, this was my first time had to pay extra for baby. I don't understand that we had to pay extra 25.5€ for 10 month old baby only for stay and breakfast. Which we got no cot or baby bed. And he ate like two cherry sized of mozzarella as breakfast. Most of the hotel we've been visiting, we don't need pay extra as long as the baby sleep with us in the bed.

Wonderful hotel in the middle of nothing. The staff is excellent,rooms are clean with an excellent view on the mountains. The breakfast was also good. Car parking is included in the price. Small thing that bothered us: no power outlets near the bed to charge your phone or other devices.

- The free WiFi gets cut off 6 hours after arrival. Make sure you know how to spoof your MAC address if you want to stay online. - The car park can only be entered using a terrible intercom system that just rings and rings and rings until someone in reception eventually lets you in. Expect this to take up to 10 minutes every single time. Strangely, there is no such restriction if you (or a car thief) wants to exit the car park. - There are no electrical sockets within reach of the bed. - There is no drinking water provided (just a coaster with no glass on it). - The room is very dimly lit by 4 lights whose switches are pretty well distributed across the 4 corners of the room. - The receptionist (Thomas) was irritable and rude during check-in. We arrived in good spirits, but he really made the check-in process unnecessarily time-consuming and unpleasant. - The breakfast is absolutely awful. It's understaffed, so almost everything ran out. The bacon was charred black. A single (very slow) coffee machine serves the entire hotel, causing massive queues. The food itself is terrible quality and saltier than anything I have ever eaten in my life.

Everything was great except at check in. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely unfriendly and kept speaking (poor) English even though I spoke German to him. I’d have given 5 stars if it wasn’t because of him.

Not the best hotel I have been too, restaurant closes very early which I couldn't find on booking (21:00), so after a long day on the bike I hoped to have dinner at 21:15 but I was told everything in the kitchen was shut down already and I had to eat somewhere else, hotel is next to road so in hot summer when you want the window open at night this was to much noise for me, and there was a noticeable smell of sigarette smoke inside in the hall,wasn't noticeable in the rooms, but was strange when you walked down to the lobby, pillows where bad needed to fold it four time to have some sort of decent pillow, only good thing was the breakfast and that you could store your bike and the staff was friendly. Edit: Apparently the owner wasn't happy with my review so he send me a privet message about my review, that I am a coward to not say my complaints in person to him. So now I would definitely not recommended this hotel to anyone anymore, the owner could also have said "thanks for the feedback we always look for improvements"

I stayed in this hotel on the 31 May until 1st of June, after been travelling with a friend from Italy, arriving there at 8 in the eve and apparently we booked the last room, according to the person in reception, whom as we found later was the owner, with breakfast included. The wifi did not work at any time we were there. We did not have much to eat during breakfast as we were leaving early and while at the breakfast room, we made 2 small paninies to take with us to eat later. We were the only ones there at that time, a very large dining room, but not so great food, he was there and kept an eye walking around and looking, which I felt was rather intrusive and made us feel uncomfortable. When paying the bill the man-owner at reception asked about the paninies and charges us 3 euros each for them. I thought that was rather petty and I telephoned to complain about the lack of cortesy and the lack of wifi, he was extremely rude on the telephone raising his voice and saying that ""he did us a favour for giving us the last room and that the wifi worked""" and..."" that I was nothing etc etc" he put the phone down on me, when I pointed out that he was shouting and he was being extremely rude. We were charged 130 euros B&B for one night plus 6 euros for taking with us 2 paninis during breakfast and certainly we have a very bad memory of this hotel mainly because of the bad manners and treatment of the person whom, apparently owns and ran this hotel which I would not recommend to anyone. We were only in the restaurant for a dinner. Both types of gulash we had were great, with home made specle. My "Hirschgulash von Rind" was served also with a small salad. But after finnishing the main dish, nobody paid attention to us any more. We wanted something sweet to close our dinner, but in the end we just paid. However, the food that we saw on other tables looked good as well (For example the "wiener schnitzel" was just huge :D ).

Randomly stopped here for a dinner driving across Europe and it was one of the best meals of our trip. Well priced and delicious, it felt like eating a mom’s home cooked meals. Would definitely recommend and would definitely eat there again if I could! Staff was also very polite and food came quickly.

The sweet and sour chicken was lightly crispy although the sauce wasn’t great. The rice for the chicken cost extra. The wonton soup was good but had the smallest amount of meat I’ve ever seen. Service was painfully slow so plan to be here a while.

We were there this month July and the worst place you can have Asian dish......don't waste your money there. Me as Asian from Taiwan and Thailand, I know how it supposed to taste and be like. The vegetables not even cook yet, it was still hard (Obviously not cooked)and coconut milk not even cooked yet either, and they already served us. We ordered something with curry and a without curry stirred fried dishes, but it came both with curry and it looks basically the same, just different chicken and beef. My husband even thought that I ordered the wrong one.... And you have to pay extra rice which is lame because if we don't order rice how are we going to eat with just main dish that need rice to be served it if you understand what I mean. The lady who served us was a bit rude too, like whatever. Just don't recommend for anyone. There, on the day it was no much guest either, maybe that's the reason why.... like 4 tables.

Beautiful place, friendly staff, good location and good food. I can mention that they took a lot of effort to cook 100% glutenfree and even with Celiac disease, I had no problems whatsoever. Rooms are very nice and clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms are great too. Overall a nice ambience and atmosphere. Cute little doggie that walks around is a big bonus. 😁 Many (red/hard) hikes around.
