Adams Gasthof is a historic inn located in Moritzburg near Dresden, offering a fresh market cuisine with regional specialties in an incomparable atmosphere. The gasthof has been serving guests since 1675 and is known for its charming ambiance and professional service, making it a top choice for large events such as weddings and corporate gatherings. With the possibility to dine both indoors and outdoors surrounded by greenery, this traditional German restaurant provides a lovely setting to enjoy German meals.
Good restaurant with good menu, nice location, amazing atmosphere , helpful stuff, who can speak in Germany, English and Russian, really friendly and professional. We had fun in this place. Strong recommend to visit this interesting and tasty place.

Food was good, wild boar meat wasn't my favorite, it was a wedding meal, so a bit busy, but service was generally okay
Evyi Y — Google review
We stayed at a nearby hotel, this restaurant was only a few minutes walk away, and what a fantastic restaurant it is. We were very much welcomed on both occasions, food was excellent and the service was also great. Would highly recommended!
Ben W — Google review
A traditional German restaurant offering German meals. It is a lovely place with pissibility to eat both outside in green or inside. We had Hirschgulasch, which was fantastic. As desert we had ice cream, which was just average, industrial, pistacchio one tasted artificial. The service was lovely, just a little bit slow, we had to wait quite long. When we ordered dessert, coffee was served first and long after it icecream was brought, meanwhile coffee got cold. The price was also higher but it is probably given by the location in Moritzburg. Overall, a nice place, we would visit again, when back there. It has its own parking space, which is great.

Well, it is very rare I give 5stars. But you were really good. Food of course. But at most I appreciate the service and organisation in the busy hour. Not discriminating foreeners and give us the feeling like we are your best regular customers will make us come back :)) thanks

The best German crispy duck and potato dumplings I've ever had! The other dishes were also very good. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Had to wait a while for the food, but we were a large party and as they say "good things come to those who wait"!

Won't be going back any time soon. The waitress was terse and unwelcoming and despite arriving at 7:15pm for dinner, she started turning the lights off in the restaurant at 8PM to push us out. No kids meals on the menu.

Brewpub
Restaurant
Watzke am Goldenen Reiter is a legendary brewery and pub in Dresden, offering a typical German biergarten experience with delicious Watzke-Pils and hearty Saxon and Bohemian specialties. With three locations serving beer brewed since 1898, it's a must-visit for lovers of authentic pub atmosphere. The outdoor seating provides great people-watching near the Goldenen Reiter, while the extensive food menu features housemade sausages as stars.
While waiting to collect our visa stamps at the Czech Consulate, we saw Watzke right after crossing the bridge. What a wonderful choice! Beautiful interior with a large bell and lots of seating options. We were also happy to find they brew their own beers! We went with Hell style, which is fairly light with superior taste. Our meal was Berlins favorite Currywurst with fries! This was just as good if not better than to be found in the capital! The other patrons had other local dishes that certainly looked and smelled great. Our server was wonderful and attentive! He even said cheers in Czech! Well worth stopping in here!
Brian V — Google review
I was extremely disappointed with the service. I ordered the Gorgonzola pasta with chicken, as clearly stated on the menu. The server oddly asked if I wanted it with chicken (which confused me) but I still confirmed, “Yes, of course.” When the food arrived, it was just plain pasta with no chicken. I pointed this out, and the server casually said he “forgot” I wanted chicken, despite it being part of the dish by default. Even worse, he made no effort to fix it properly. He said he could bring the chicken but would have to charge extra and it would take 20 minutes, while everyone else at my table was already eating. His final “solution”? He suggested I take the chicken off my mom’s plate. Seriously? That’s not only unprofessional but also completely unacceptable. He refused to take the dish back or offer a replacement, so we ended up switching plates, my mom ate plain potatoes and salad while I ate her chicken. I didn’t even want to pay after this experience. The server clearly didn’t care, and this is not the level of service I’d expect from a place with a good reputation.
Vivien P — Google review
Top! Great atmosphere with plenty seating choices, good service, good standard German fare with a sometimes modern twist like pairing risotto (!) with Wurst that’s nicely done. A bit touristy, but locals also come here as a central meeting point. Highly recommended!
F F — Google review
I like this place. Honestly, since I am not an expert of sausage, I cannot find a big difference in veal sausage that it's an one of signature menu here. However, I like their beers so much and they have nice salad and juicy roasted chicken. I recommend you to order salad as side dish instead of starter. It's much cheaper but similar size 😅
JINHOON B — Google review
I recently ordered an espresso and two glasses of tap water (not bottled), and was charged €12.80 in total. According to the bill, a 0.4 L glass of water costs €4.20 – which, frankly, is cheaper in the middle of the desert. This does not seem like a normal price, and it is overcharged - or something else...have no idea...
Goran G — Google review
food is tasty, tradition german food no doubt, good beer, very nice location. But they don’t have enough staffs, we waited 30 minutes for payment. na ja, recommend.
Samantha L — Google review
Excellent food and beer 🍻. If you are looking for a traditional german dishes, this is the place. Excellent quality and good price.
Jaime G — Google review
I have been noticing this place ever since I moved to Dresden a couple years ago, and I always assumed it was a touristy place that would be overpriced for the quality. I stopped in for drinks the other night and was really pleasantly surprised. We didn't try any food as it was late and we had already eaten, but we tried some of the brewery's own beers and spirits and wow, they were delicious! We sat in a booth in a corner and were concerned that the wait staff wouldn't notice us, but thankfully this was not the case. The place was super packed but our server was still attentive. I am looking forward to checking out their other locations and trying the food next time too. Atmosphere was also top - very lively on a Friday night with lots of happy people!

Snack bar
Fast food restaurant
Restaurant
Curry & Co. is a small fast food chain with two locations in Dresden, known for its delicious vegan currywurst and fries. They offer the option of having the vegan currywurst in organic quality and provide a variety of sauces and dips, including homemade peanut sauce and jalapeno cheese. The menu includes an economy package with fries or a First Class option that comes with prosecco.
The snacks are nice, very friendly staff. She is politely asking us whether we need english menu or not.
Calvin T — Google review
I walked 30 minutes across town just to try this currywurst — and it was 100% worth it. Being in Germany, I felt like currywurst was a must… and this one seriously hit the spot. So simple, but so good — the kind of flavor you don’t find just anywhere. Now I regret not buying a bottle of the sauce to bring home 😭 Had it with frites and mayo (of course), and washed it down with a Fritz-Kola — super hip, slightly more subtle than Coke, but honestly, the design alone wins. Even the music playing in the shop had that cool, indie vibe. Didn’t want to leave.
Yesran — Google review
So perfect for hangover eats, for little snack and just absolutely gracious for a solo eating spot. The guy who works there is real put nice, in a good mood and diligent. Ordered Currywurst to soak up the gin from the night before. As a Berlinerin it was definitely good, but unfortunately not the real deal Fries are yummy, the variety of food is perfect for any diner. I like it.
Mona Q — Google review
Amazing Curry Wurst. I had one of the bowls which was packed with sausage, fries, red cabbage and sauce. Made to order and absolutely delicious. If in the Neustadt you must try!
John S — Google review
We ordered Vegan Currywurst with Pommes and it was really delicious. The portion size is also very good. I would love to eat there again. The only drawbacks were that card payments are not available and the toilet was really dirty and messy.

The best "currywurst" in Dresden. Only 5.5 € for curry sausage and fries and currently the best in Dresden. You decide the hotness of your curry sauce from midle to hot. Located in Neustad Dresden, where diversitet is all over. I highly recommend you, to visit Curry & Co and Neustad.
Kristian S — Google review
Okay currywurst, really good fries. Good for a light snack for average snack prices (4.3 Euro at time of writing). The currywurst tasted like a normal hot dog to me. Staff speaks good English and explained the menu to me. Cash only.

The Bärenhäusl restaurant offers good cuisine in a pleasant setting. While the menu is not extensive, it provides a sufficient range of options that do not overly complicate decision-making. The establishment maintains cleanliness and efficiency, with fast and friendly staff ensuring a comfortable dining experience. The food itself is highly recommended, particularly their delicious fish dishes. Prices at Bärenhäusl fall within the upper middle range, making it an attractive choice for those seeking quality dining without breaking the bank.
We thought, for sure, there cannot be enough free tables with all the people, but it’s surprisingly roomy inside with multiple floors. We were able to sit down. Food was very tasty, staff professional and friendly. Everything clean. Considering the number of people also quite fast. Recommend.
Roman D — Google review
We came for late lunch after a nice stroll around Moritzburg castle. Nice seating outside and quick and decent service. My mother had a some hash browns with salmon and salad - nice and light. My son was OK with his burger and I ventured for the wild boar fillets with asparagus. While the seasoning was nice, the meet was extremely dry. And the asparagus showed that the season is already over - pretty big and dry as well.
Andreas L — Google review
We had lunch here today. It is located very short walking distance from the castle. The service and atmosphere were very good. Very cozy place. We were started right away and the servers were friendly. I had the burger. While it was ok, the meat was just not that good. It was very dry, not much taste, and honestly seemed to have been recooked more than once. We did enjoy the visit and atmosphere.
Michael M — Google review
Strongly not recomended. Horrible service, expensive food, not welcoming staff and no English menu. The waitress did not care if we stay there. The only nice view
Ketevani P — Google review
I enjoyed the rich taste of the coffee and the freshness of the cakes at this lovely café. The atmosphere is relaxing and refreshing, making it a perfect spot to unwind!
Arefeh G — Google review
I'm surprised at the poor reviews of this restaurant. We dined here on Christmas Day 2021 (visiting family and friends during the holidays) and I thought the food and service were quite good. My only complaint was the men's restroom, which--to be delicate about it--had an unpleasant odor as if it needed to be cleaned desperately. However, overall, an excellent Christmas meal here.
Mark N — Google review
Mediocre food, nothing special. No vegan options, service showed flexibility but kitchen didn't execute what was agreed on. Scenery is nice, prices obviously accordingly high due to tourism. Beware: only cash, no cards accepted.

Restaurant
Nestled just 700 meters from the enchanting Schloss Moritzburg, Gasthof Forsthaus is a charming and historic establishment that beckons travelers with its warm ambiance and hearty culinary offerings. This delightful gasthaus embodies the essence of Saxon hospitality, featuring a menu filled with comforting dishes like tender Rinderroulade, fresh Forelle, and rich Hirschgulasch.
After visiting Moritzburg, we wanted to have lunch in town and came across this cozy restaurant with really delicious food. Everything was perfect from the soup to the dessert. I highly recommend

Great cultural and cozy atmosphere. Feels like it was a grandma’s house. Incredible food and really good price in my opinion.
Rodrigo — Google review
We visited as two families with two children. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. The staff showed no flexibility in arranging tables so we could sit together, and we had to move them ourselves. When it came to ordering, the waitress was unnecessarily rude. She insisted on taking drink orders first, even though we wanted to prioritize food for the kids and order drinks afterwards. Her attitude was unpleasant, and in the end we decided to skip the kids’ meals and only order for the adults. On top of that, when one of the children (3 years old) ate a sausage, we were given a lecture in German about it. Overall, the service was chaotic and unfriendly (the food was good) , and the visit left us with a very negative impression.
Alexander Z — Google review
Amazing place found completely random. The food is really what you would expect from a Gasthaus, huge and comforting. The ambient is nice and cozy, and the waiter extremely kind. Really a must go place.
Luca G — Google review
My partner and I went there because food seems to be delicious and local. Unfortunately we never got to try anything because the waiter was extremely rude. Not sure if he is racist, homophobic, xenophobic or just plain rude, but we left after he got angry at us when we asked for explanation on the wines menu. Very unpleasant experience

Restaurant
Nestled on the outskirts of Moritzburg, Gasthof Bärwalde is a charming establishment that has been delighting guests since 1840. This traditional inn offers an inviting atmosphere where visitors can savor exquisite regional cuisine with a hint of French flair. The menu is thoughtfully curated and changes frequently based on the freshest local ingredients available, ensuring each dining experience is unique and memorable. Although it may be off the beaten path, those who seek quality will find it here in abundance.
We had a traditional 7 course French dinner tonight. Every course was perfectly cooked, especially the sauces that produced an explosion of flavors in your mouth. The wine pairings were great as well, having the right temperature and decantation.I would go back any time with friends and family that enjoy fine cuisine.

(Translated by Google) What a gastronomic pearl, hidden in a small village near Dresden. And to put it bluntly, we ate and drank extremely well. Everything is just right here. Starting with the classic, timeless and lovingly furnished guest room, through the very friendly service, to the fantastic menu, which in my opinion had no weak point. Great, great, great. Rarely has a restaurant I visited earned 5 🌟 like Gasthof Bärwalde. I'm sure we'll be back soon. (Translated by Google) We were looking for a good restaurant and booked a table in Bärwalde. We unexpectedly ended up in a "fancy restaurant." There were only two menus: one for over €50, the other for over €80, and a 0.25-liter bottle of red wine cost €19.80. When asked if they had Aperol Spritz, the waitress said that customers there didn't ask for it. The food was good to very good. I won't go there again.

Lebowski Bar is a small and lively pub located in the trendy Neustadt quarter of Dresden. Inspired by The Big Lebowski, this funky bar offers an excellent selection of beers and cocktails, including their famous white Russians. The cult classic movie plays on loop throughout the day, adding to the unique atmosphere. Despite its small size, it's a popular spot for those who want to extend their night out as it stays open until the early hours.
They pour a mean White Russian. And the Lebowski murals are amazing.
Marshall Y — Google review
Coming in at 7:30pm on a Tuesday it was dead on the inside. I figure this place isn't busy until after 10pm? This place advertises as exactly as I would expect: a five bar with big Lebowski themed decorations and a decent selection of white Russian options. I ordered a white swede and I enjoyed it. Having Big Lebowski playing on the overhead TV is a nice touch. The server is pleasant but keeps to himself. They also accept card at this place, which I was happy about.

Just an amazing bar, the theme is the movie "Big Lebowski", which is a movie I love, and that was the reason I went there, didn't disappoint.. They make a good White Russian cocktail, and also have a really good spin on their Bloody Merry which is absolutely worth a shot (yes, they serve it as a shot as well).
Jehonatan B — Google review
The last bar open in Neustadt, good to finish up the night if everywhere else is closed. Prices and drinks are decent. The crowd is friendly and you will most likely find people to talk to. It can get very smokey and crowded sometimes. The bartender with the glasses may refuse you entry just for fun and laugh at you with his friends, this has saved me a lot of money so I'm grateful.
B K — Google review
Visited this bar on a Friday evening. Drinks have been of great qualtiy and staff was very friendly.

Typical small bar in Dresden Neustadt, if you're new and around check it out. Prices are fair and service is good. Since there's not much space it'll happen fast that you'll get in contact with random people, good place to chat.

Live music venue
Blue Note Dresden, established in 1997, is a cozy music club and bar located in the Neustadt side streets. It offers a decent selection of reasonably priced beverages and hosts some of Dresden's finest musicians on a regular basis. The venue has a friendly staff and great service, but seating is limited so arriving early is recommended.
If there's a concert going on there's an entrance fee of 10€ usually which we did not regret as we visited. Really nice Jaz singer and Pianist. The Atmosphere and cocktails were also great. And the Bar Staff attitude was spot on.

Relais & Châteaux Hotel Bülow Palais is an upscale hotel that offers a bistro, cigar lounge, bar, restaurant, and spa with three saunas. The hotel's exterior may not stand out as exceptional compared to its surroundings but the modern interior is well-maintained and clean. While the service may not meet some guests' expectations for a 5-star hotel, the restaurant offers a lovely tasting menu.
Classy and discreet. Well situated, only 15 minutes walk to the opera, museums and churches across the bridge. Beautiful hotel, invaluable staff, always prepared to help. Efficient valet service for the car. The rooms are very nicely decorated. The buffet breakfast is stunning, both in choice and quality. Actually fairly priced.

Had a fantastic stay in the Hotel Bulow May 2025. Location is ideal, near train station and a few minutes walk from centre. The staff are super professional and super friendly. Wonderful Stay at Hotel Bülow Palais We stayed a few nights at Hotel Bülow Palais and had a very pleasant experience overall. While the building has a classic, historic exterior, the interior is beautifully maintained and feels recently refreshed. Breakfast offered a variety of healthy choices and was complemented by friendly and attentive service. The bar was also a nice spot to relax, again with excellent service. One of the highlights was the spacious sauna and wellness area – very clean, well-maintained, and perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended!

The suite was beautiful, with elegant furnishings and a carpet that was clearly well maintained—nothing felt worn or outdated, which made the space all the more comfortable and inviting. While the hotel itself is gorgeous, what made our stay unforgettable was the staff. They were absolutely top-notch—friendly, professional, attentive, and genuinely warm. They remembered us during our stay and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality really set this hotel apart and made us feel at home. The location is also ideal—just a short walk to many of Dresden’s main attractions, yet tucked away on a quiet street in a charming neighborhood, which made it the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. We also enjoyed dinner at the on-site restaurant, which was fantastic and an experience we would highly recommend. Although we didn’t get a chance to visit the spa or try the breakfast buffet this time, we look forward to both on our next visit. This is without a doubt a 5-star hotel in every sense. We cannot recommend it enough and will certainly be back!

A wonderful hotel with the friendliest staff I've ever seen in Germany as well as luxurious conditions. We had 5 people across 3 rooms and everyone was impressed. If I had one complaint (a minor one) it's that the young lady taking breakfast orders didn't seem to understand us very well and didn't always bring what we asked for, but it was close enough. Everything else was superb. Highly recommend.

This hotel deserves a 5 star rating just on the basis of excellent customer service. It is located 10 mins walk away from the center of Dresden, but the area around it is also pretty great. They have underground parking. The rooms are finished in an older style, but everything is super clean. The only con is if you open the windows, it gets kind of noisy at night with vehicle noise. The customer service aspect is incredible. They provided a turn down service, the person who did that went the extra mile and placed my luggage on the luggage stand, put a nice towel on the washroom floor. When checking out, the person offered me a bottle of water for the road. Small touches like these are absolutely incredible. They also had a pair of slippers, along with individual bottles for lotion, shampoo and body wash (such a rarity and breadth of fresh air when every other hotel puts gross reusable ones in the washrooms).
SWAPNIL A — Google review
This is a beautiful five star hotel that offers unmatched service in a pleasant atmosphere. It so happened that they also offered unmatched prices for their rooms this holiday period of July 2025. I had booked a superior room which was indeed superior to any of the 18 hotels rooms I had lived in for the past 18 days of my roadtrip to the sub-arctic areas of Scandinavia from Switzerland, except that it opened on the inner court yard. There is everything you need for a comfortable life including a fruit basket and a Nespresso machine, and at 6 p.m. you will hear a knock on your door; it's the maid who arrives to organize your room for the night. After check-in you are offered a glass of well chilled crémant d'Alsace and if you are a cigar smoker there is a cigar room with plush English leather sofas in which youn can enjoy life without disturbing non smoking guests thanks to a potent roof aspiration fan. A nice bar and a restaurant completes the picture so well you do not need to go out to survive. Breakfast is up to the star rating with the best possible black teas, various egg dishes and good bread and freshly pressed orange juice. There is a lot to learn here for other hotel owners. Highly recommended.

This review is long overdue, but I am only now catching up on my reviews after months of travelling since February. This has to be one of my top five favorite hotel stays ever. When an establishment is great it delivers without pretentiousness. Everything hit the mark here, and without a big announcement. This is a stay for still elegance. I am in my late thirties and found the crowd to be more mature. No one is shouting anything. It was a nice five days of enjoying life in Dresden. The Room: I had a deluxe room. The bathtub was perfect, and I loved that they had Molton Brown soaps and bath salts. Also a proper hairdryer. The room overall was spacious, and relaxing with a decent minibar and thoughtful furnishings. Everything was the extra mile and noted. The Location: Just a short walk to Old Town, but you're right there. It was a great way to be centrally located whilst experiencing a calm only a few extra minutes tucked away can provide. The Food: The main restaurant provided an exceptional dining experience. I had the onglet (I still remember even now despite it being 7 months ago), the oysters, and a regional wine that I wasn't expecting to like but did. The bar made one of the best negronis I have ever had. On the weekends they had a pianist, and I am always a sucker for a piano bar. The atmosphere is relaxing, classy, yet chill. I only had the breakfast one day out of my stay, but the head chef who runs the operation makes it her world for those few hours. It was a wonderful experience eating and drinking there over five days. All the staff involved were lovely. With every glowing five star review, I want to offer some constructive feedback as someone who travels all over the globe. So two points: 1. The bed labelled as a king or queen bed was a conjoined bed that didn't remain conjoined at all. I would fall through the middle if I rolled over. If I come with my partner next time, this would be an issue; but honestly a solo traveller shouldn't have to deal with this either. For a hotel that has all their boxes checked, this was one miss. The bed shouldn't float apart. 2. The gym is really nonexistent. The machines barely worked, are old, and it feels like it's in a cluttered room as an afterthought. My suggestion would be to just admit defeat unless you are going to expand the area and / or upgrade the equipment. Get rid of the machines in this space and have a small stretch, yoga, meditation type area. This would compliment the spa area more than what is there now and make more sense to the image. I wasn't in Dresden for the gym so I didn't care much, but it's just an observation. Regardless of the two points above, I cannot imagine giving the rating of my experience of this hotel anything but a 5/5. I look forward to returning in a few months. The food, room, and atmosphere really made it a top experience in my travel history.

If you find yourself wandering through Dresden Neustadt, make sure to stop by Fettboy on Bautzner Strasse. This trendy burger joint is a haven for food lovers, offering an array of mouthwatering burgers served in your choice of brioche or focaccia buns. The fries paired with their unique plum ketchup are a must-try!
The 2 mile walk from my hotel was worth it. Fettboy is simple and delicious. I came from a Berlin conference just to look for great Pastrami and Dresden did not disappoint. Dressed with a wonderful bit of salad, the grilled cheese makes this an excellent sandwich. I would highly recommend this when in Dresden.

Title: "A Flavorless Fiasco in Veggie Burger Form" Review: Ah, the quest for the elusive perfect vegetarian burger. Some say it's a mythical creature, akin to a unicorn or a WiFi connection that never drops. But, alas, at Fettboy, this quest ended not with a bang, but with a whimper—a dry, flavorless whimper that left my taste buds filing a missing person's report. Entering the restaurant, my hopes were high. The ambiance screamed, "We care about food!" Unfortunately, the vegetarian burger whispered, "We barely care about sustenance." As I took my first bite, I was struck by an overwhelming wave of... nothing. It was as if the chef had taken great care to ensure each ingredient was individually stripped of any semblance of flavor before assembling them into a patty-shaped disappointment. The bun was stale, the patty was dry, and the whole thing had the consistency of a couch cushion. I even tried to drown it in chilli and salt, but they could not rescue this flavorless abomination. It’s as if the burger had taken a vow of silence and decided to bring my taste buds along for the monastic ride. In the grand theatre of gastronomy, this veggie burger was the understudy who forgot their lines, tripped over the scenery, and brought the curtain down prematurely. If flavor were an Olympic event, this burger wouldn’t even make it to the qualifying rounds. In fact, it might be disqualified for not showing up at all. So, if you enjoy meals that taste like existential despair with a side of regret, Fettboy is your place. Otherwise, steer clear and save your appetite for something with at least a whisper of flavor. You've been warned!

Cozy place, nice interior, tasty food. Very welcoming staff. Staff speaks only German and credit cards not accepted (except cards issued in Germany), but for a small village in a nice rural area it is understandable. And, ATM is not far there.

I stayed here with my wife and can confidently say that this is an excellent budget option of a hostel. The staff is friendly and accommodating, they can help with every detail of your stay. Been there for breakfast. It's a nice location and the staff was admittedly very friendly. But overall it was a bit disappointing: They call it breakfast for 29€ something but charge extra €1,50 for jam or honey. Also a fresh orange juice would cost extra €4,00. I mean come on... Situated near the Neustadt Christmas Market, it provides an ideal location for a festive holiday experience. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and access to the neighboring Bülow Palais spa and fitness center for a fee.
We really liked the spaciousness of the room. The room, and property, is quiet, very clean, and tastefully decorated. The front desk staff were always friendly and informative. The breakfast isn't inexpensive but great if you value a quality meal. They also easily accommodate people who are celiac with gluten free options for breakfast. The hotel is not in the old town but this is a plus as there are more non-touristy restaurant options this side of the river. It is a very short walk into town and very close to trams and Neustadt train station.

Really great place to stay, and St Nicolas visited on 6th! Very helpful staff, lovely breakfast. Very close to Christmas Markets, although there are many nearby restaurants, when the markets are on they can be booked up. Think about it before starting the day, the reception team would have helpful advice, they felt that they may have been able to help, but we’d already used the markets!

I've mixed reviews about this hotel. My biggest complaint is that they didn't have a receptionist on Sundays or after 5pm. I had to use the intercom to the sister hotel to get in. No, on-site gym or even a bar. Not what I would call 4 star. However when staff where their, they where very friendly and helpful. Lovely rooms and internet worked well enough for me to do my work. Nice location with good options for places to eat. Would I stay here again? Yes, if the price was rite.

Huge rooms and a big bathroom. It's definitely not new but very well maintained. Friendly staff. Almost no noise! Good price for what you get. Can highly recommend. Nice hotel in the baroque quarter, just a few steps away from the Augustus bridge and the old town and all of the great sight seeing Dresden offers. The area offers a lot of nice little shops where you can find unique stuff like old books, tailored suits and antiques.

Eye-watering prices for the food. 5 course meal for two along with a bottle of wine was nearing 500€ bill… the entrance to the restaurant is awkward, passing through a narrow and very squeaky door to enter- not fitting my expectations when paying this much for dinner. (Translated by Google) Our visit to the Atelier Sanssouci was unfortunately a bit mixed. The cuisine itself – especially the non-vegetarian menu – was truly of a high standard, delicious, and beautifully presented. The kitchen team deserves great praise here. However, the handling of the vegetarian menu was somewhat disappointing. While a four-course menu was offered upon request, the selection seemed poorly coordinated and rather spontaneously chosen from the existing menu. In principle, the same price as the regular menu would be entirely reasonable if the dishes had been carefully designed as vegetarian alternatives – unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. There were also some discrepancies in the service: We initially ordered a bottle of champagne, but the wrong one arrived. Upon inquiry, we were told the requested bottle was unavailable – but a short time later, another member of staff announced that it was. Furthermore, the amuse-bouche was served before the aperitif had even arrived at the table. The champagne service itself also had room for improvement: The cork was opened improperly, the foam overflowed, and a cooler was only brought after about ten minutes. A vintage champagne was also kept on ice for a long time, which is somewhat unfortunate. The service team was barely able to provide any information about the digestifs, and the presentation of the bottles lacked confidence. The menu descriptions were also very brief – a shame when you hear at the next table that other guests are being given more detailed information. Finally, it was noticed that the bottle of champagne billed was €40 more than the price on the menu. This could be resolved, but it contributed to the overall somewhat unsettled impression. I'm generally happy to spend good money on a successful evening with excellent food and attentive service – but here there were too many minor discrepancies that marred the experience. With a little more training and sensitivity in the service, the evening could have had the potential to live up to the high culinary standards of the establishment.

(Translated by Google) Romantic dinner for two. This year we went to this romantic location for our anniversary. Inside and out it reminded me of Bridgerton. Likewise the music. I thought it was a shame that the tables weren't set until 15 minutes before 12 and you weren't really allowed to enter the studio until 12 sharp. Especially since Germans are often very punctual, it would be nice if it was possible to go in as soon as you arrive and then only serve food from 12 p.m. I found the breaks between courses pleasant. Everything is very aromatic. The wine goes harmoniously with every course. Since the room is rather small, there aren't many guests there. This ensures soothing calm. We could read on the outside menu that the evening menu can even have 10 courses. However, 4 were completely enough. This restaurant is less recommended with children or small children. It is a fine, upscale restaurant. The front garden is beautifully landscaped. There is still the possibility of a landscape gardener working in the rear part of the buildings. Then it's perfect. We recommend it with a clear conscience.

(Translated by Google) We stayed at a hotel just around the corner and only spent one evening in the restaurant with my wife. It was a truly cozy atmosphere, especially on the terrace: pleasantly quiet, with a beautiful view of the garden – a real comfort zone. We enjoyed all the dishes, the presentation was thoughtful, and the wine selection was truly beyond reproach. Normally, one waiter serves the entire evening, but here several came, so unfortunately, we didn't remember their names. One young lady was particularly friendly – sensitive, polite, and charming. Her colleague, a young man (I think he's from Russia), really impressed us with his dry humor and excellent manners. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you very much. Vielen Dank.

Zum Dreispitz Griechisches Restaurant is a delightful culinary destination that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for families and food lovers alike. The attentive staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome, even accommodating the needs of little ones with thoughtful gestures like extra plates. Diners can expect their meals to arrive promptly, which is quite impressive for a restaurant known for its slow-cooked dishes. The menu features an array of delicious options, including vegetarian choices that cater to diverse palates.
Great food with a nice atmosphere but the waiters don't know much english and as of the posting of this review there is no english menu. There is also a quite nice palace with a beautiful lake nearby to wisit after eating.

Great gem! Food is as hot, delicious, and inexpensive. Wait staff was helpful fast. We got wide beans, grape leaves, soup, and zucchini/aubergine with tzatziki sauce. Yum!

Nice cafe/restaurant with garden seats located opposite of the Moritzburg castle. Wide choice of drinks, food and desserts. Plus a friendly service.

This was our best German restaurant! Couple vegetarian options, the waiter was asking us what do we need for our little kid. He was offering am extra plate etc. It was very kind and thoughtful of him. Food arrived quickly. The quickest for any slow food restaurant in Germany! That was very impressive. And ofc it was delicious with typical village food (with mostly game on the menu)

VEGAN HOUSE Neustadt is a trendy vegan eatery with a laid-back garden area and a rustic-chic ambiance. The menu features an array of Asian-inspired vegan dishes, including burgers, soups, tofu specialties, and vibrant salads. A standout feature is the option to create custom meals by selecting from over 20 small bowls of ingredients. The restaurant offers a Zen-like atmosphere infused with the aroma of soy sauce and provides friendly service.
Great vegan restaurant in the heart of Neustadt Dresden. Everything we‘ve ordered was delicious and the service was efficient and friendly. Recommended is to order 3-4 small bowls per person and share so you can enjoy enjoy as many dishes as possible.

Not a bad restaurant with a good atmosphere and service. The summer veranda is cool and pleasant. However, we weren’t very happy with the dishes. The coconut soup was made with cream instead of milk, making it too thick and greasy for my taste. The burger fell apart in my hands, and serving it in a deep plate made it nearly impossible to eat properly. While everything looked nice and appetizing, I wouldn’t go back a second time.
Anna S — Google review
Super impressed by how fresh and delicious with lot of fresh salad and variety of veggies included in each dish - everything we ordered was not oily at all- and generous with the protein too - we had the Sitan Satay, and mango salad, and vegan “burger”which was more like an Asian slider - all were very large portions (as labelled tapas) and then we both had the Vegan Bowl with Udon noodles as mains - this has both tofu in the bowl and a tofu skewer on top that was covered in a mind blowing red sauce that will live in my dreams for weeks to come. A lot of food for two people but left feeling very satisfied, and we have a new favourite restaurant to visit when we are back in Dresden.
Alice K — Google review
Excellent food and good variety. An Asian oriented restaurant with a variety of 20 “small dishes”, some larger bowls and soups and desserts. I had 2 types of tofu skewers and summer rolls. All were visually attractive and had a good and unique taste. Overall atmosphere was nice and quiet and service was fast and efficient. The 3 dishes and soda water were about 23€. Would probably come back.

We recently had dinner at this fully vegan restaurant. We ordered three bowls: a vegan burger, garden tofu stick, and crispy wontons, each priced at €6.90. To drink, we had a Red River drink for €5.40. While the food was decent, we were disappointed by the portion sizes compared to the price. The wontons were also a bit greasy for our taste. The drink was okay. The restaurant has a lovely garden in the back, which was unfortunately full when we arrived but luckily we had our reservations. The service was quick.

Love the food! Really nice blends with different flavours. The summer garden is particularly beautiful. The only minor problem is that the staff is somewhat unfriendly, which almost prevents me from going despite the amazing food.

Really excellent! We were very satisfied. If you want dinner, two small poke bowls for €6.9 are more than enough. I also recommend the Detox smoothie - very delicious! We enjoyed the food, but the service was sour and serious.

Good rooms very tidy, clean and comfortable beds, besides the pull out bed, good kitchen with reasonable prices, beautiful and stunning surrounding area with a lot of Forrest and sights. However the staff is harsher than you might be used to, sometimes appearing unfriendly, that is nothing particularly special in this part of Germany, though. Definitely worth a visit!

The Seeblick Moritzburg restaurant offers a pleasant terrace overlooking a pond, providing a lovely setting to unwind after exploring the area by bike. While there is ongoing renovation work, the service and views remain excellent. The menu includes various options of sundaes and waffles, although some may find them pricey for their size. Despite this, the portions are well-proportioned and reasonably priced. The restaurant opens early in the day with prompt service for both drinks and food.

Saturday 8.30pm, only 30 Left before closing time. The owner let me in and I chose P3. The young owner took his time to explain how to eat that delicious meal. Taste of fish sauce, beef and asian herbs was fresh, almost no sugar and fat! The price was great 10,90€! I am very picky in Asian food and I ate up my whole bowl! Everything was CLEAN and there were no odours (menu, table, floor, restrooms).

Lesson learnt: Now I can't believe google reviews and those from local guides. Staff was friendly but costly food was terrible. With low quality of sausage half burnt, you can get from discounted store, we suffered from diarrhea like others

The location of the restaurant is great as well as the atmosphere, but the staff was very unfriendly. We had a problem with the payment, they don't take credit cards but even our debit cards did not work with their machine. It did not make any sense and the waiter was very rude about it.
