A huge restaurant come party hall that can be used for special occasions like birthday party, engagement ceremonies. This place looks like an old wedding hall used as a Hotel. Hotel is located in a very narrow road. They have a dedicated 2 and 4 wheeler parking a little away from Hotel. We went here for late lunch at 4:30pm and was surprised that they did not allow us to sit in a/c hall as it was only meant for meals, what nonsense. The servers force you to take a seat and share the table with strangers, what nonsense again. Trying to accommodate as many customers and just get a bill rolling. I will never go to this place again. The food was also ok types and not exceptional, we tried their parota, chapati, paniyaram, podi dosa, noodles, Gobi Manchurian. The only item that was good was their paneer noodles. Others were average, Gobi Manchurian was not good at all. They did noy have bonda bajji at 5:30pm and that too in Salem. A huge let down.

Rice was of good quantity and quality .. Curd was of genuine quality … With just paruppu sadham, Nei , wonderful koottu poriyal we can complete the lunch .. Sambhar , Puzhi kulambu , Rasam were good .. but may not be the best … The crowd was extreme … people were standing by our table to get the seat .. That gave us an embarrassing situation .. Rest all were fine .. Best appreciated place

This was not a best place to have a lunch or breakfast.I ordered a plain dosa ,vada and coffee.The plain dosa was small size and it is 47 rupees not good.Then vada was not good to eat it is 14 rupees.Coffee was the only at average taste.I will not recommend this restaurant to eat .And they didn't allow to ac hall for the dine in.

I visited Lakshmi Prakash, Salem today and was completely disappointed with the restroom and sanitation facilities. The toilets were very dirty, smelled extremely bad, and were totally unhygienic. There is a large crowd of more than 100 people at any given time, yet there are only two unisex toilets, which is completely unacceptable for a place of this scale. There is no proper sanitation or cleanliness maintenance. The management should be seriously condemned for such poor facilities and should take immediate steps to improve hygiene and provide separate, clean restrooms for men and women

I’ve been dining at Lakshmi Prakash since my childhood, and honestly, it has always been one of my all-time favourite restaurants. For years, it was our go-to lunch spot whenever we travelled from Attur to Salem — a tradition, a comfort stop, and a place we truly trusted for quality food and a satisfying meal. However, my recent visit on Friday was deeply disappointing. The meal served lacked the taste, freshness, and quality I’ve always associated with this place. Nothing on the plate felt right — from the flavor to the overall experience, it was unfortunately the worst meal I've ever had here. It pains me to say this, especially about a restaurant that holds so many good memories for me, but after this recent experience, I’m genuinely hesitant to visit again. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and brings back the high standards that once made this restaurant a favourite for so many travelers and locals alike.

My highly recommended dish would be their honey cakes , cashew macron, plum cakes , I like many of their biscuit varieties - pista biscuit, salty biscuit... . They have so many varieties of puffs . Do visit their place once would definitely love it .

Saravana Bakeries had become the cake icon of salem, large varieties and lot of baked items with good quality and with clean hygiene. Prices will be higher than the usual market, but worth for the product quality. Anytime crowd for the cakes. Their package and serving manner have a seperate fan base. Would recommend.

You can see the price variation which they have showed for us was Rs.1000/- and at the billing they were charging Rs.1200/-. I have checked with the staff they were telling their management asked to collects that amount.

I just had to write a review for New Henry and Wolsey Cakes for making our daughter’s birthday cake. Their name serves them well! The employees were courteous, professional, and patient with my repeated inquiries in whatsapp, phone calls and messenger. I was unsure of what to select at first and I was nervous about the final product with the many ideas, requests and pictures I gave to couple of days before the birthday. Finally, they delivered as per my expectation! They were timely and assured me everything would be perfectly fine. The chocolate was perfectly delicious, and the decorations were spot on, not overly sweet and the designed looked very beautiful! Since my daughter loved puppies, I had requested to place puppies (made of Sugar syrup) in the middle. And also we wanted to display the name in stars, (Each star carrying an alphabet) as attached in the photo. We preferred normal cake rather than the Ice cakes which are popular nowadays, The recent we prefer normal cakes over ice cakes is the ice cake starts to leave water once its out of the refrigerator. And some kids who have flue or cold cannot eat the ice cake. The outcome of the cake was perfect, and it came with good chocolate flavor. This was our first time using this bakery and certainly will not be our last. The cake was beautiful & delicious. Everyone at the party was raving about it. Particularly my daughter and niece loved and started to play with the puppies (chocolate after the party). Also the Bakery has a huge varieties of cake, puffs, pizza and Sizzlers.

This name should be very familiar for 80s generation. Has been shut for a long time and back in Salem with a bang. Cakes 🍰 and pastries. Biscuits and cookies are their trademark but not sure if they can match the Saravana bakeries quality and taste. Nice ambience for a quick bite. Tad bit expensive I guess but nevermind as long as they don't spoil the quality. Birthday cakes and special occasion cakes are also available and will be made on order.

Plum cake was the first I tried from Mannshaa Desserts, the cake was fluffy with plum which melts in mouth leaving a pleasant sweetened taste. After which we tried many other Cookies, Brownies, Dragées, Almond biscotti n more!! Everything were scrumptious and unstoppable. The Mini Cakes are another highlight of Mannshaa Desserts which is really the best in town, it is a right choice for those who are bored of ordering regular cakes in higher quantities. Millionaires Brownies n Caramel Cookies are must tries for those who love to add a twist of salt to their desserts. And finally, the packaging is really very unique n elite, I'm much impressed with the "Keep Salem Clean" sticker to lock the box.. n since the lockdown they have been giving tiny sanitizer which shows their care! Disha is a stellar baker. The quality of ingredients, freshness and exactly understanding customer’s vision and overall providing a seamless experience is the best part. I ordered a blueberry raspberry strawberry mix compote made with fresh berries in house, which was the flavour and it was a harry potter themed cake- It was divine and my whole family loved it. Also ordered the choco fondant and choco chunk cookies. It vanished in 2 days. Highly recommend Salem based folks if you want cakes pastries pls order here, Im sure you will be proud of your choice.

I even called and on their instruction, i sent the same request via whatsapp. But, to my utter shock the cake was blank and no wordings were written on it. Disappointing everyone. I ordered a bento cake. First their price is too higher than the normal, I got to know it later. Second, they were asked ₹100 for delivery. In total it costed me ₹450 for a bento. Third, I gave a very easy design to put on cake and they did it so bad and when I saw the picture and asked them re-do it they said they're doing but they sent the same cake. They didn't even try to fix their design. Also, near the time of delivery they stopped taking calls or replying to msgs. Extremely unsatisfied and feeling cheated with Vanberry, Salem. Having a big shop doesn't exempt you from providing good service.

Best brownie I have ever had so far. Never imagined it to be so gooey and fudgy, with a crisp crinkle top. Even the big brands give airy layer of brownies, but it was so moist just as contrast to the top layer.

Quantity was so less. For 51 INR Fries, you will get some left over pieces, it will look like some one had and they served that to you. 3. Pizza bread was hard and crisp. Pizza when u bite it feel like eating Muruku. too much crunchy. 4. Kiwi Delight is 109 INR and you will get 70 % in a medium glass. 5. Their billing machine won't work, so got fed up and we paid the money and came. All way expensive. Not worth your money. There is no good Italian restaurants near by, else we can show them how good Pizza is supposed to be. if not for the clean place and workers there, I would've given 1 *

Golden Crust has one of the best cakes in town! I got a beautiful chocolate truffle cake delivered to my friend within a short period! The cake turned out to be great! The owner was very sweet and went above and beyond to carry out all my requests and to make sure everything was perfect! Overall, a pleasant experience and happy to order again!

Was here a couple of days ago and for a super early breakfast. The experience was peaceful and the food scrumptious. Loved everything that I had, except for the chutney. Such a balanced meal and the options were a balance of East Meets India. The staff here are extremely polite, keep checking on you for any need you may have. What could be better - paper towels in the wash area.

Had an excellent experience at Tangerine, Radisson Hotel — especially the breakfast buffet! The spread was fresh, varied, and delicious — from South Indian favorites to continental options, everything was well prepared and nicely presented. Special mention to Vetri, who took great care of us at the table. He was polite, attentive, and made sure we always had what we needed — coffee refills, fresh dosas, everything served with a smile. His service really stood out and made our morning extra pleasant. Highly recommend Tangerine if you’re staying at Radisson or even just visiting — great food, warm service, and a perfect start to the day!
