Any travel guide in Amsterdam will tell you to stop by Winkel for their famous apple pie, and it’s absolutely worth it. I’m not even an apple pie fan, but this one was really, really good. The crust, the filling, everything was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. Yes, there’s a long line, but they run the place like a well-oiled machine. The line moves quickly, the pies are constantly coming out fresh, and the drinks are made in no time. If you get lucky and snag a seat outside, you can enjoy your dessert while people watching. Inside seating is nice too, especially by the window, though the space itself isn’t particularly special. Still, it’s a must-try spot in Amsterdam. Definitely worth the stop for a slice of their iconic apple pie.

Great place to taste apple pie… queues can get long but they have outdoor seating too! The slices are quite big so sharing between 2 would work! Highly recommended!

Came because of the hype and a recommendation from a local friend of ours and this place’s apple pie reputation is very well deserved. We came at a good time so we were seated right away (2 people). Service was a bit slow because of the amount of people so it’s understandable. The pie itself was fantastic. No words to describe how good it was, so I rate it 10/10 for ruining apple pies for me because I don’t think I can get it anywhere else that’s this good. The coffee was good as well!

Amsterdam locals make sure you put this shop on your to-do list when in Amsterdam. It’s open until 2am and has amazing apple cake. You MUST get it with whipped cream and a hot drink (Irish coffee or hot chocolate preferred). There’s seating inside with warm cosy seating and a bathroom downstairs. Card and cash accepted. Highly recommend

Very busy, but got a seat outside on a Friday afternoon. The apple pie was delicious- warm & freshly made, and not too sweet or buttery, with the optional added bit of sweetness with the whipped cream. Could've easily eaten another slice! Great spot for people watching as well. Definitely need to hire more staff though - there were only two servers managing everything outside (taking orders, clearing up, delivering the food/drink to both eat-in and takeaway customers). They were calmly efficient, but still clearly overwhelmed from being so understaffed. Overall worth the hype, as it's a fun bustling intersection with an upbeat atmosphere. Don't know if it's legitimately the best apple pie in all of Amsterdam, but it still tastes delicious and the location feels very cozy & communal :)

Open early on Sundays- worth getting up for! Excellent varied menu. We had florentine and BR special. Both very well executed. Super garlicky spinach and yummy think bread. Friendly efficient service.

Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. The dishes lacked flavor, presentation, and overall quality — which was very unexpected. The bread was cut too thick and had no taste, it wasn’t toasted or spread with butter. Adding simple touches such as garlic butter, cheese sauce, or other flavor elements could make a big difference. All three dishes we ordered were completely bland. These days, it’s easy to find inspiration online for improving flavor and presentation, and I believe there is definitely room for improvement.

We had a tasty brunch here on a Sunday morning. My only wish was that the wait list system worked because I tried to join the wait list as we were walking there and it wasn't working... Of course we arrived and the place was full so we could only add ourselves once we got there. This meant that we could only get bar seats which was a bit tight for space. Aside from the seating situation the food itself was great. We got the Navajo Eggs and the Huevos Rancheros. Both were delicious and had a good balance of fresh ingredients with savoury elements.

Great breakfast and healthy options 🌸 We got early breakfast here. We ordered the B&R breakfast with side eggs and avocado with coffee and matcha. Everything is delicious and fresh, especially the pancakes. The portion sizes are good. Coffee and matcha latte was also good. Quick and friendly service. Highly reccomend and would visit again =)

I ordered the B&R Special with extra avocado instead of bacon. The eggs and bread were delicious, and the butter elevated the whole dish. The orange juice was fresh, but the pancakes were underwhelming compared to the rest. Nice atmosphere and excellent service, overall, a solid 5 stars despite the pancakes.

Great place for breakfast/ brunch. Very popular in general although we didn’t have to wait when we went there. I imagine weekends is very busy. The food was delicious. Good service too.

Super cosy spot in central Amsterdam without being too crowded in the streets surrounding. Clearly a popular spot since it was so crowded inside though! All of the cakes looked delicious (lots of vegan and gluten free options). We went for a savoury treat this time and the portions!! HUGE! Will definitely be back to try the sweets!

This beautiful little bakery makes the most amazing looking and tasting baked good! The owner and her team efficiently handle the store and it's many many walk in customers. And the food is truly heavenly! Every 10 minutes you can watch a new tray of delicious baked goods being taken across from the kitchen to the display window 🙂

A magical place! You’d need to spend a whole week in Amsterdam just to try everything here. The pistachio cream aragostine and the cinnamon buns are an absolute must! Thank you for such a cozy and atmospheric café.

All their products are amazing. You can easily buy the products we tried. The soup of the day was eggplant soup. It may look a bit strange, but it tasted delicious. The service might be a bit slow, but we go there to be calm and relaxed. So it was a very nice experience for us.

AMAZING!! I’m so happy I found this place, we ended up coming back twice! This little place is small on the inside, but they do have an upstairs as well. The windows are lined with fresh pastries and baked goods. Delish!! They have a tiny patio with 3 tables that is right over the canal! Luckily we got to sit there and people watch, while enjoying our breakfast. Coffees were amazing. Baked goods, so fresh and delicious. We ended up eating some sandwich’s as well, tuna melt was excellent. The have homemade jams which we took some home with us! Overall this place was a perfect breakfast/lunch spot

This is a little gem! We stopped as our eyes caught the glimpse of their window from a cross the street , it was pretty. The shop is small but very clean and presentable, there was a huge variety of fresh creamy cakes, biscuits and chocolates. We decided to get 4 cakes to go and the lady that served us was so kind and packed them so we could enjoy them while walking . This was a treat for our taste buds, so fresh and light, full of flavour. When we go back we will definitely pay another visit and try other treats. This is definitely a place that is worth coming back to and needs to be recommended.

Far more than Pancakes and Syrup Waffles, a Baba in thick Syrup as sweet as it is boozy, fans of Canele will find Holtkamp nearly as good as those in Bordeaux with a generous crunch giving way to mellow Cake with the texture of Custard. Also offering Macarons and Feuilletine, tempting but not enough to replace three Chocolates including one with Honeycomb, Dutch Tompoucen comes highly recommended thanks to all the elements of a Napoleon but more Pastry Cream.

Bakery in the center of Den Burg with a great assortment of sandwiches, pies and cookies, freshly made or baked. The seating area is a bit cramped and you do have to navigate through the shop to place your order, fetch your drinks and then later pick up anything that had to be made on order. Food itself is great, nothing fancy, just fresh and as tasteful as you'd expect.

The good reviews this bakery had gotten was deceiving. The sandwich they made were of no substance. The picture on the menu showed normal portion of cheese on a special sandwich, but the service woman only spreaded a thin layer of cheese on the bread as speading butter. It was so stingy and calculating. One can get for the same price a good sandwich in any other cafe. In addition, the attitude of the service was unfriendly and rude.

It is always a pleasure to visit De Drie Graefjes. The service is constantly great and there is a tempting selection of cakes on display. Their red velvet and mash-up cake are really tasty and firm favorites of mine. The generous slices of cake are a real bonus and make it feel well worth the price.

I had a lovely experience at De Drie Graefjes. I stopped in for a drink and a slice of red velvet cake and it was wonderful. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. I felt comfortable right away. It really felt like a little oasis in the middle of the busy city. The cake slices are large and incredibly delicious and the coffee is strong and well-made. I even took a slice home because it was so good! There are plenty of cozy seating areas upstairs and the free Wi-Fi makes it an easy place to relax for a while. A very charming café. I’ll definitely come back.

I usually come here for the cakes, but this time I decided to try something different and have a meal instead. Unfortunately, it was quite a letdown. I ordered the avocado toast – something I often enjoy elsewhere – but what I got was literally just dry toast with a blob of avocado slapped on top. No seasoning, no flair, just… bland. Tried to save it with some salt & peper, but no. It came with some uninspired nacho chips on the side as well, which didn’t help much either. I ended up sending it back. Apparently, you can add extra toppings (for an extra charge), but honestly, the basic version should still be decent enough to serve. There were a few other small things too, but I think this review is already long enough. Next time, I’ll happily stick to the cakes

Placed an order for my 30th bday and paid extra for the writing of “Fabulous 30”. I think the picture I uploaded says enough about the quality and the decor of the cake.. My 5 year old niece would have written it better and at least centered. 71 euros down the drain🙃

Great overall experience here at “The Three Graefjes” at the Rokin. The crew is friendly, welcoming and proactive. I was here on a Tuesday afternoon around 2PM and it was not busy at that time. The interior feels modern, with a vintage vibe. It’s clean and tidy. I wanted to try their red velvet cake, and I have to say… it was definitely tasty, not too moist, not too dry and most importantly not overly sweet! Make sure to leave some room, because the cake itself is quite heavy! If you order a drink, I recommend to order it without a lot of sugar added to it. Since the cake itself is sweet enough. Definitely recommended to try some of their delicious cakes!

If you’re looking for a refreshing, tasty lunch stop in Amsterdam look no further! We stopped here after a 4 hour countryside tour and we were delighted with our quiche and Dutch cheese sandwich. Service was great as well and prices were reasonable. It was truly just what we needed!

On our final day in our brief stint in Amsterdam we popped in here for breakfast. We passed it a previous day but had just eaten so couldnt go in. When we did it was absolutely worth it. I got the Yogurt Granola breakfast (pictured) and my Girlfriend got the French Breakfast (Not Pictured) and these two comined was the best shared breakfast experience I mightve ever had. Loved being able to exchange pieces and put everything together ourselves, wonderful experience, polite staff, and overall looked very cool. Also the best black coffee I had in the city! fantastic all around! Would highly recommend will definitely go again if the opportunity arises !

During our family trip last week, we visited this bakery twice. Each time, we received exceptionally polite and friendly service, and our children had a wonderful time in the small play area. The food was excellent, and all the staff is simply very, very nice. Top breakfast spot in Amsterdam - thank you! We'll be back next time...greetings from Austria!

A really cute local spot! Stumbled across this place which is easily missed. It’s really beautiful inside and there were a good mix of Dutch people eating, which is always a good sign! It made me feel like a local (even just for the hour 😅). They serve breakfast, brunch, lunch and sweet options. I had the soup and quiche platter and it was absolutely delicious! The food was fresh, tasty and healthy. It was just what I needed! I recommend asking for the daily specials! The staff were very friendly and welcoming and I’m just sad that I’m only in Amsterdam for the day as I would happily come back tomorrow. Thank you for the lovely experience!

I visited a chocolate shop in downtown Amsterdam and had such a great experience. The chocolates were absolutely amazing in taste, and the atmosphere of the shop was warm and inviting. The lady who helped me was so kind and patiently showed me all the different chocolates. A lovely experience highly recommended!

This place makes very good Stroopwafels with honey. The poppy seeds dessert, the ginger almonds and the Oliebll were also very good. There is a place to sit inside and coffee is available. The service isn't the friendliest out there especially towards newcomers. Highly recommended nonetheless.

I heard a lot about their Stroopwafel, so I was excited to try it, but honestly, it was a huge letdown. It was way too hard, super crunchy, cold and pretty much tasteless. Definitely not what I was expecting. And for the price? Totally not worth it. I really don’t get the hype. As someone who’s tried pastries all over Asia and Europe, I can confidently say this was one of the most overrated ones I’ve had in my life. I was expecting something maybe a bit softer (?), warmer, or at least flavorful, but instead, it was just a plain, sugary crunch with no real taste. The cappuccino was also pretty cold, which was really disappointing. As someone who has lived in Italy for years, this felt like a huge disappointment to what a proper cappuccino should be. It’s not just about the taste—it’s about the experience, and serving it lukewarm just ruins it. Not trying to be rude, but there’s absolutely nothing special about it. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. There are way better options out there for pastries or a sweet breakfast, specially if you already have tried good pastries in other European countries or Asia.

One of the best cafes I've been in Amsterdam. The sandwiches, especially the PLT, were fantastic and the Italian carrot cake is one of the best I've had in a long time. I will definitely come back someday for the afternoon tea.

Absolutely fantastic service, the chai latte was incredible and the chocolate cake was to die for. My sister had the apple and almond cake and really enjoyed hers as well. We visited after a walk through the park from Molenwerf and it was just wonderful. Definitely would visit Amsterdam again just to have their latte and cake again.

The coffee and food was nice, but maybe the day we were there one of employees had a bad day… It made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than customers. Our server was cold and not smiling, When I tried to start a small talk (think of conversations like where are from, how long do you live in Amsterdam etc (I am not Dutch myself)) it only made it worse. I worked with customers myself, so I used to smile to everyone and having a small conversation. For the rest is cozy cafe with delicious vegan food but I am afraid I won’t be willing to come back, which is the shame…

I don’t know how it’s possible. The rate is so high is definitely definitely. It is over rate plus yes employees or nice friendly how possible they doesn’t have WiFi N I know how Turkish tea tease unfortunately it’s not fresh. I asked them to make it black coffee unfortunately I don’t think I will come back again by the way, so maybe they sold out or they don’t have some item on the which is in the menu.

Hi , I like the place, music and some dishes like KABAB and Trilitcha so much but I ordered Warm chocolate milk, it was not good , it is like hot water with a little sugar, I don't recommend it at all..I asked to change it ,they gave me an other glas but unfortunately It was the same..😤.. My experience at this café was not up to my expectations. The service was quite slow, which slightly spoiled the experience. As for the quality of the products, it was disappointing, especially the pastries. I particularly advise against ordering it, they were overly sweet and for the baklava or künefe of rather average quality comparing with the prise. In my opinion, it’s possible to find much better options nearby, especially with the presence of several similar establishments in the area.

Absolutely delicious turkish desserts!! Definitely recommend the different baklavas and künefe with turkish ice cream. The tres leches was pretty good too, but we might have had a corner piece since the cake portion was pretty thin. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place but make sure to make a reservation as it can get very busy!

It’s perfect if you want to taste real Turkish food without going there. Everything tasted exactly as it would taste in Turkey and the quality is great! Highly recommend! Never really been sold on vegan pastries, but this place got closer than I expected. Stopped in for a quick bite on a Friday morning. Came about an hour after opening and luckily didn’t hit a line. The shop itself was tiny (3 cramped tables), and I only grabbed a seat because a kind stranger offered to give his up. There’s a bigger deli with proper seating across the canal, but the pastry selection wasn’t the same. Pistachio Raisin Cruffin – Supposedly their pistachio cruffin is the signature, but on my visit it came in this pistachio-raisin detour. The interior was plush and moist. But as some locals pointed out, they no longer use pistachio cream, so pistachio barely whispered through. More like a dressed-up raisin bread than the nutty pastry I had in mind. Pain au Chocolat Hazelnut – Don’t see a lot of twists on pain au chocolat even in trendy bakeries, but this worked. Lamination was on point, crisp outside and structured inside, and instead of the usual baton of chocolate, it came with a hazelnut mousse filling and almond chunks on top. Missing that buttery perfume of a true viennoiserie, of course, but still satisfying. The mousse ran a tad mild at first, but hidden bits of chocolate inside pulled it back nicely. Salted Pistachio Cream Latte – Clearly targeted for American tourists (and judging by the crowd, it seemed to be working). The latte itself was a bit flat though. Much like their cruffin, the pistachio cream was too faint.

I would say this bakery is a must visit for ANYONE - but particularly if you're a vegan. There's a different variety of pastries available every day and every one I tasted was crispy and flaky, with incredible flavour combinations. I ended up coming back a second time because it was too good! (Only con is very limited seating indoors, although you can get a drink at the pub opposite where there's more seating.)

This is a pastry shop with very limited seating. You’ll have to wait in line a bit, and they only serve croissants and coffee. It was good—not a “5-star amazing” experience, but an ordinary, nice taste. Instead of the classic, it might be better to try the pistachio or almond ones, at least you really get the flavor. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a stop, but it’s not a “wow” kind of place.

A vegan bakery gem for pistachio lovers Saint-Jean is an incredible vegan bakery. I tried the pistachio cruffin, and as a true pistachio fan, I can honestly say it had the best pistachio filling I’ve ever tasted. The filling was rich, full of flavor, and there was plenty of it — no stingy portions here! The dough was just as impressive: perfectly baked, soft yet flaky. A must-visit spot if you love pastries, vegan or not.

On the other hand, the yogurt berry toast was disappointing, The toast itself was quite dry, and the combination with the yogurt icing felt mismatched—the textures clashed, and the flavors didn’t come together as well as I’d hoped. Amazing bakery - we had the Palestinian savory danish and the ham & cheese croissant and it was absolutely delicious. We will be dreaming of the croissant tonight - it tasted exactly how it looked: flaky but not crumbly, buttery, flavorful. The matcha was perfect too. Would be nice if there more possibilities to sit, as there are just a few benches inside and outside - but if kept in mind it is totally fine. We will be back soon! It’s a must try for vegans and non-vegans 💚

I also got the cheese croissant which was also amazing. I went with my friend two days in a row on our trip because it was that good (and got the pistachio one both days). I'm deathly allergic to dairy so it's always a really nice treat when I can eat at 100% vegan places without my normal allergy anxiety!! But my friend who isn't vegan loved it just as much. The lattes were great as well. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!

This place is just phenomenal when it comes to 🥯 I just had the most delicious Palestinian pastry with cheese and herbs ! So so aromatic and delicious! Also I had to try their apple saluted caramel danish and was fire 🔥! Highly recommended when in Amsterdam !

Really nice vegan bakery, small variety but they all looked delicious. We had I think 6 different ones which as vegans we can't find in many places, like the croissants. I would have preferred if the cheese croissant had a little more filling, and the same with the pain au chocolat. They were all delicious though, and really reasonable prices. It didn't have many places to sit just two seats outside and one on the inside, so it's more a to go place. Would totally recommend!!

One of the best ones in Amsterdam! Simply loved there creations. My review is dated several years back but I have tried their products many many times and consistently they have been great! When i asked for their best dessert I got 2 recommended... So this is a dessert showdown on which is the best. The fruity one or the caramel desert... Both desserts are amazingly well balanced and not overpowering in sweetness... Delicious and decadent... What more do you want!? So the answer to what is the best dessert? We are split wich one is better..... But since I am writing this review, I would go for the fruity one.

So far this is the best patisserie that I tried in Amsterdam I LOVE IT! All the pastries are gorgeous and as a chocolate lover I can say that also the merengue lemon pie is stunning. Service is also perfect. I hardly found that level of courtesy in other places in Amsterdam.

Found this place on google map. Had a pleasant visit today. This dessert store is soooooooo cute! They have huge alphabet chocolate which I might get one in the future for friends birthday. The macarons are delicious and so many flavors. You can only put macaron in the fridge for 5 days so I didn’t buy lots today. The mirror glaze mousse cake I got today is also delicious. The berry mousse fits so good with the chocolate base, it’s not too sweet that make you uncomfortable and you can taste some raspberry in it. Oh and the staff was really friendly. Will definitely come visit again.

Very cozy place on the side of busy street. We iedereen Almond Swir and it taste amazing, very subtle almond taste just tipped your tongue, well balanced with the raspberry, between sweet/sour. I think she got the highest compliment on her dessert from an Asian “It’s not too sweet”. Coffee is also good as well, we ordered oat milk late and Cappuccino, nice.

Hands down the best vegan cakes in Amsterdam! I can’t recommend them enough, they’ve been my go-to for all birthdays and celebrations four years in a row. Super delicious, with the perfect soft texture and just the right amount of moisture. All my friends love them (even non vegans!), and they’re also very cute! 🥰 the staff is really nice, and the pickup process is very smooth and organized, so highly recommend!

Have ordered the dark chocolate cake with berries on two different social occasions and it’s always been a party hit! The cake itself is moist and not too sweet while the berries add a beautiful zing. Would move to Amsterdam just for this!

It was straightforward to order a birthday cake online. The cake was available for pick up on the desired day. The cake tasted great and it was freshly made. All members of staff were extremely kind and helpful. Thank you so much for offering such a high quality of services.

All pastries are plantbased and/or gluten free. I liked the snickers bar a lot since it was fresh and did not have refined sugars and thus no overly sweet tast. I also enjoyed my decaf latte (which was a little bitter to my taste but that's only personal preference).

Really nice aesthetic place, coffee was good, however the pastries that we tried were not the best. Our order: pistacchio bun, cheesecake and flat white coffee. Price: 15.8€ The pistacchio bun had a vivid taste of yeast and you could feel that the dough wasn’t grown enough. The cheesecake was not fresh.

Visited here yesterday and really enjoyed their range of baked goods. I didn’t really like the pistachio cookie as it was just pistachio on top rather than a filling inside the cookie but did enjoy the cinnamon sugar donut, which was similar to a sweet pretzel or like a churro as a donut. It was a comfortable and cosy experience and really liked their matcha as well, it had a good balance of umami and slight tinge of sweet and in general would recommend this place to people to come and check it out.

Very cute atmosphere with warm, friendly staff! The cakes, cookies, pastries, and especially the brownie are to die for! The brownie was super good, not dry and wonderfully chocolaty. The espresso macchiato did not disappoint either. The space is a bit small, so seating can be limited, but the cozy, home-like interior design makes it a delightful spot to relax.

Anook looks great but leans a bit too hipster. The upstairs area with the beach lounge chairs could be swapped for a couple more proper tables. The vibe feels more Californian than Amsterdam, though it's nicely done. Pastries are really good, just a touch too sweet. All in all, a positive experience.

I don't understand how people think this is a cozy place, it's not! It's inhospitable without a character, very unwelcoming. The chairs are very uncomfortable, it's like asking you to leave asap. The only thing they welcome you to do is to give them the tip 😆 The coffee was ok but the slice of cake was horribly dry and I had to throw it away. They keep the cakes outside in this small window. There is no service, you even have to put your dirty cup inside the buckets.

Had such a lovely experience during my visit to Amsterdam while I was traveling from the US. The coffee is delicious! I think it was one of the best flat whites I have ever had. To make things ever better, the baristas were so friendly and patiently explained everything. I went in twice because I enjoyed it so much. The coffee literally tastes like cherries! When I went in- they had different espresso offerings for each day so it was so fun to compare the two flat whites I had. I also got their loaves while I was there. Very moist and delicate. This is probably a coffee shop I will miss dearly

Got an iced hojicha on the last day they do iced drinks (27 September). It was good and my first time trying hojicha (tastes like matcha a red bean). But after that date they only do hot which is quite disappointing. The vegan loaves are good. They have a lot of coffee selection as well but no seating and set up of cafe is quite weird but staff is extremely kind.

We loved this place! I had the white chocolate matcha and my partner had a cappuccino, both were amazing. What really stood out was the atmosphere; it felt like we were part of the café rather than just visitors. The space is completely open with no separation between the staff area and where customers sit, it’s like you’re behind the counter with them. That setup, combined with the friendly team and the cool, laid-back vibe, makes it such a special spot. Definitely one of our favorite coffee stops in Amsterdam!

Rum baba is my neighbourhood coffee shop. I really enjoy this place for a quick to go coffee, they make fantastic flat whites, and they really know their coffee. There is very limited seating, so I have never sat inside and there is other places on the street that provide better and more affordable pasteries so I really see this as a take away coffee spot with some of the best coffee in the city. I have however had mixed results with their beans, I bought a bag of one of their diamond blends and it tasted very chemically flavoured, I couldn't explain it but it was very expensive and I had to throw away most the bag even after serving my friends some. It smelt very strong of almost candy I am not sure what it was. But all of their yellow bag espresso beans are fantastic.

This place really cares about their coffee. Extremely high quality espresso, own roasted beans. Reccomend trying a few different beans and taking some home. This is NOT a brunch restaurant masquerading as a coffee shop, it is somewhere you come for something properly special.

Walked past the shop during the week and their cakes looked delicious. I placed an order on Thursday afternoon and paid online. Pickup Friday before they closed was easy. The cakes were soooo good that I ate 3 Friday when I came home 🫣🤭😋

Amazing. Good taste, smell, and Presentation of products. Good service. I Bot a Champagne Cake and three little expensive cupcake thingys for Christmas on the 24th. All for 30€. I liked it so much i returned the next few days to try more things. (photos a little wonky... i biked with the cakes for 30min) cupcake thingys tasted exquisite. Each was a mixture of textures and the right flavor combinations. I Shared these. They were satisfied too. I did have some left over. On different days or times of the days, one type of cupcake tasted better than the other. So maybe try different ones. Also the champagne cake was good, but not as great as I expected. The Chocolate balls were hallow. I expected cream filling inside.

I bought yesterday a box of 6 cinnamon roll, it looked delicious but unfortunately they all tasted the same. It's very very sweet, full of sugar in the roll and the icing. Even my young daughter that loves sweets couldn't finish half a cinnamon roll. Really disappointing.. 😔

So delicious! Couldn’t believe they were vegan! They are soft but not airy- which makes them so filling and delicious, unlike Cinnabon or American cinnamon rolls I’ve had, that just felt like you ate air a second after, which made it super unsatisfying even while eating, but not like that with these! Some flavors we loved more and some less, but definitely would come again. I loved the original one the best!!

Every now and then I get surprised by a vegan bakery. I've never had a good vegan cinnamon roll before. But leave it to the wonderful bakers at Have a Roll to change my mind. This was a great experience and I loved the rolls we had. The apple pie topping was so unique and delicious. I highly recommend you stop here if you're in Amsterdam and grab a delicious Cinnamon Roll!

Fantastic cinnamon buns, probably the best in Amsterdam out of all cinnamon rolls i tried. They made it fresh, and nothing can exceed the taste of freshly baked bun in a winter rainy day. Go with the original roll, it’s already so good, if you want something different, I would recommend pistachio or pecan mixed. Besides that i have to give them a credit for a really nice, welcoming service and excellent store design.

Highly recommended! They have multiple choices of cinnamon roll and it tastes really good. Coffee is also good which is an important one next to this dessert. Place is small but you can also enjoy outside if the weather is nice. I got the one with cafe cream and liked it!

We visited Chez Rosie twice during our trip to Amsterdam, and both times were absolutely fantastic! Rosie and her staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everything we tried was delicious, from the quiches to the fresh-baked cookies and other desserts, and a great cup of brewed coffee. When I come back to Amsterdam, Chez Rosie will be one of my first stops!

This place is rated nearly a perfect 5 stars for a reason… -iced tea- In my lifetime, I’ve drank a lot of iced tea. I grew up drinking it, tried various forms of it on 6 continents and would say I regard iced tea as my beverage of choice. That being said, I don’t think I’ve ever quite had an iced tea like my most recent one at Chez Rosie. The drink tasted equal parts vanilla and berries, while still maintaining space for me to taste the actual tea itself. Chez Rosie’s iced tea mastered a very precise balancing act. Typically when teas try to add two flavors or more, I feel that the flavors overly compete with each other, or you get to the point where you’re no longer to actually taste the iced tea itself. I ended up talking with the individual responsible for making this morning’s tea batch, and she informed me that the tea is made with fresh chopped strawberries, rosemary infusion, (some other steps involving more berries that I forgot), then they use natural vanilla pods for the vanilla flavoring. This goes without saying, I would get again and recommend to anyone in Amsterdam. ——- -The Quiche- Incredible. The eggs were silky smooth and creaming, the crusting was the perfect consistency, and it was both light and filling. I would recommend highly. ——- -Service/atmosphere- Wonderful, friendly, welcoming. I felt very comfortable in this space. —— Overall, I’d say this is a stellar brunch spot/bakery in Amsterdam. I would say this place deserves to be on the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand list as the food was both exceptional and moderately priced.

Chez Rosie is dangerously good. The kind of place you swear you’ll only visit once, and then suddenly you’re back three weekends in a row. The strawberry chantilly cake is insane – light, fluffy, just sweet enough, and somehow still feels fresh. The chocolate ganache? Rich, deep, proper chocolate – not too sugary, just pure indulgence. But the real winner for me is the mango coconut cake. Had it made for three birthdays now and it still blows me away every time. Honestly, everything tastes homemade but on another level. I need to forget this place before I gain weight.

Nice French patisserie in Amsterdam. Their summer menu pistachio tart is very balanced and perfect. Most of the other desserts are amazing, too. But the mango banana cake I had last time was a little disappointing; the syrup made the cake layer too soggy.

Nice little coffee shop. Very quiet, we were the only customers mid afternoon. Had a ginger beer, black tea and a little raspberry cheesecake to share. Came to around £8.50. Cake was gluten free, all the desserts are labelled with allergens. Nice but wouldn't go out my way to go again.

This lovely cafe has a wide selection of gluten and dairy free cakes. They come in a varying of styles,, tastes and sizes. There is an amazing selection from fruity to chocolatey and nutty cakes are available - we enjoyed the lemon and coconut cheese cake and the Mocha and Hazelnut ones, but they all looked amazing! The hazelnut chocolate nougat as a little extra with our coffee was a lovely extra. Recommendation for a small coffee break during a city stroll in Amsterdam.
