This place is incredible! The pastries were so beautiful you almost didn’t want to eat them, almost! They tasted as amazing as they looked. My favorite by far was the lemon tart! Location and parking were easy, but do expect long lines.

This restaurant has the feel of a casual French bistro. The interior walls are decorated with a charming French-inspired design, while the patio—with its tables placed in an unstructured way—adds a touch of European character. Having lived in Italy and visited France several times, I find that this place brings back a little of that atmosphere, which is why I enjoy coming here from time to time. Most of the dishes are quite good, and I would especially recommend the desserts.

I was close by and decided to stop because of heavy rain. I am so glad I came here. Everything about my experience was amazing. The server let me pick where I wanted to sit. Service was quick and the food was delicious. I got the pork chops with apples, potatoes and green beans. So delicious and perfect for this weather. A cafe au lait rounded off the experience.

This is the best French café in OC, maybe even SoCal. Been coming here since the days when it was Pascal, the new management had definitely brought it up a notch or two. Their panini is out of this world, and it's not a complete visit without getting the pastries, from Kouign Amann, Baba au rhum, pear tart, croissant, macaron to finishing with cafe au lait. They also have this wonderful shop with French cookies to wine. While you're there, take advantage of the outdoor patio seating. It's not the most ideal being next to a busy parking lot, especially during the lunch rush hours.

Kid friendly. Good food all around. I was gonna grab yesterday’s day old pastries. But someone grabbed them before I could circle back and get it. Really enjoyed the Piedmontese potato salad, oxtail, and sausage. Yoghurt and eggs delicious too

Proper French bakery, which is tough to find in the U.S., but you’ll certainly pay a pretty penny for the experience. Has the vibes, the sounds, and the smells. Pastries and espresso drinks are top notch with a bit of the pretentious French attitude from the women working the cases to match!

Excellent! We had gone to two other French Bakeries on our OC excursion trip and then two other Moulin’s and they were closed. We found this Moulin in Newport Beach and they did not disappoint! This was by far the best French bakery than the others we have tried. We would definitely return.

I used to buy pastries frequently here and their quality was good. I even recommended it on Reddit when someone asked for a good pastry place. Recently we bought pistachio roll and other stuff. And the pistachio roll was clearly not fresh. When my wife pointed it out to them later (in 2 hours), they started to 1) deny it and say the roll is good, and then 2) blame us not store pastries properly and then 3)offer us a low-ball compensation. It is already a red flag for their pastry being not fresh. Their bad customer service made the service even worse. We all want to support small businesses in local communities. But this place doesn't deserve our support anymore.

Despite assuming that the cake was a regular one, it later became evident that the cake contained walnuts and hazelnuts, to which I have a severe allergy. The absence of clear labeling on the cake packaging regarding the presence of nuts resulted in a grave oversight on your part, leading to a severe allergic reaction that required immediate medical attention. The lack of transparency and communication regarding potential allergens in your products not only jeopardizes the health and safety of customers but also violates basic consumer rights. Furthermore, the unhelpful attitude displayed by your staff, including the manager on duty, during our ordeal only exacerbated the situation and left a lasting negative impression. It is unacceptable that such negligence and lack of professionalism are tolerated within your establishment. I urge you to take immediate action to rectify this matter and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Cakes: 3 stars. If you like heavy cream and thin layers of cakes this might work for you. Not sweet at all. Cookies: 10 stars !! I tried the chickpea cookies and they are simply delicious. They literally melt in your mouth!! Soooo good.

MOLDY FRUITS on top of DRY sponge cake soaked in syrup. I don’t understand what kind of cake can be both spongy looking and taste like wet cardboard. Do yourself a favor and buy your cake ANYwhere else. We bought a big cake for my dad s birthday. When we cut the cake, there was brown oxidized banana slices in the middle. The fruits on top look good only on the top because of the gelatinous sauce, the bottom is covered with white and gray mold! Even the green grapes are brown and mushy on the bottom and you know it takes a few days for grapes to go mushy! We called the bakery the next day they rudely denied they sold us an old cake! They said they make their cakes every day! Look at this cake and tell me if it’s fresh! You decide by looking at the pictures I posted. We are gonna throw the rest of the birthday cake away for our own health since they tell us no refund even if we bring the cake back with receipt. We unfortunately served 3 people before we realized the fruits were moldy. We are never coming back for anything when a business is not trustworthy. I get it, mistakes happen so if you sell us an old fruitcake just make it right.

I had a very disappointing experience at Assal Pastry. Upon walking in, I was abruptly told to “move your dog out” before even being greeted. There was no “hello” or any courtesy,just a harsh tone that felt incredibly disrespectful. As a customer, I expect basic manners, especially from a business owner. Also, in California, service dogs are legally allowed in businesses, so a more respectful approach would be to kindly ask or clarify if the dog is a service animal. Based on this unprofessional and rude treatment, I will not be returning.

Really love the pastries here. It is a sort of cultural awakening because it takes me back in time enjoying to the same goodies we used to get in Bombay and Pune in India. Love it!!

Unfortunately Assal Pastry is not what it used to be. It was high-quality Iranian pastry and very consistent. However, that has changed. Today I picked up a cake that was watery and falling apart upon cutting. This is generally a sign for a stale cake. I’m disappointed and probably won’t return.

Leila made me this amazing beautiful cake for my Harry Potter themed baby shower. The cake exceeded my expectations. The size is very generous, and it was delicious. I had shared some photo inspiration for ideas and she executed exactly what i wanted. Highly recommend!

We have used Layered for about 4 or 5 of our latest parties and Griselda never disappoints! I know I can ask for anything and trust it will not only be delicious but beautiful! She did a yummy tres leches cake for a first communion, a raspberry cake along with cupcakes and cake pops all color themed to match my sister's college graduation party, brownies for our Christmas party and all were a hit!

We loved working with Griselda for our wedding! Griselda went all out and created a dessert table for us that fulfilled all of our dessert dreams -- banana cake with dulce de leche filling, chocolate chip cookies, strawberry bars, alfajores, raspberry linzer cookies, and fruit tarts. Our guests LOVED the desserts, and we got compliments for days after our wedding. Griselda was also easy to work with, as she brought generous samples for us to taste and was responsive to our requests and needs. We will absolutely be going back to Griselda for all of our special occasions in the future.

There’s usually only one cashier, the line is long, and having to order drinks separately at the kiosk just slows everything down. Bathrooms are also in need of attention. Good food, but the overall experience could be much better.

It seemed like they were trying to make it look full, but there were not many different options to choose from. It was especially disappointing not to see my favorite, Taiwanese Scallion Bread. I often find it In Summery Bakery. If you’re in the area and want something quick, it’s fine. But if you’re looking for a wide selection or something new to try, it might fall short.

85°C Bakery always hits the spot if you’re craving fresh, tasty pastries and drinks. Their sea salt coffee is a must-try, and the breads and cakes are soft, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The variety is amazing — from savory to sweet, there’s something for everyone. Only downside is that it can get crowded, especially on weekends, and sometimes popular items run out quickly. But overall, it’s worth the wait if you go at the right time!

Product is amazing, but service is really bad, also any coffee is about 5 dollars and now they only put half of the cup, they should charge also half of the price, idk if is just my coffee, caramel machiato, but always only half of the cup gets fill. And i didn't have a zip before this picture, so mad at this people, besides not everyone follows the recipe, each time taste different...

I really love this place. They have a great selection and the service is always friendly and quick. I’ve been coming here for years and never had a single issue. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to, and I always recommend it to friends and family. The milk pudding is my absolute favorite. The brioche is great too. If you’re eyeing the desserts behind the glass, I’d go with the white chocolate strawberry cake — it’s a solid choice. The only thing that I absolutely do not like about this place is the parking! Over the years, DJ has gotten busier and busier. Parking hasn't really changed at all so if you come during peak times... basically any time you think college students want to hang out... then finding parking will be a challenge. Other than that, I love this place!

I genuinely love this place. Delicious bread, great drinks, but I'm writing the review because my family and I are always so excited when they bring back their cinnamon rolls. It's a yearly tradition at this point- but this year they changed them to include walnuts. They're unfortunately very gritty and have a different, bitter taste to their filling. Hopefully, they bring back the classic, because these new ones are so unpleasant we threw them out.

Celebrated an early Mother’s Day with the fam, so guess what I’m bringing?! Strawberry croissants! Parking: There’s a large parking lot, but it’s always busy here, so finding a spot can be somewhat difficult. Ambiance/Environment: They’re always poppin, and yes there’ll be a line. There’s signs everywhere asking for the door to remain closed if there’s a line. Make sure you’re not one of those people that can’t read and leave the door open. It’s pretty small inside. No indoor seating. They do have a small outdoor seating area. Service: Throughput was surprisingly quick for how long the line was. Shout out to the hard working women there. They’re quick & efficient. They do have a heavy accent, and it could be difficult to understand them. Pastries & coffee: We ordered the strawberry croissants, caramel mocha latte, and white chocolate mocha latte. The strawberry croissants are the reasons why we always come back. Love how airy and perfectly crisp their croissants are. The filling isn’t too sweet, and the strawberries are fresh. The lattes were okay .. I saw that they actually make their espressos by hand. The caramel mocha was sweet, of course. The white chocolate mocha was decent. Both could use a stronger coffee taste bc it was pretty light. Pricing: The croissants are expensive, but definitely worth it for any occasion. Will be back to try their other pastries and coffee!

A Must-Visit Bakery Gem — Consistent, Fresh & Always Delicious! After my morning run today, I decided to stop by Cream Pan, one of my all-time favorite bakeries. I’ve been here several times, and I can confidently say I’ve never had a bad experience. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the most amazing aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries. The staff is always warm and friendly, and the display cases are filled with everything from sushi rolls and sandwiches to pastries, cakes, and desserts it’s impossible not to find something tempting. I first discovered Cream Pan thanks to my brother when we were in California for my wedding. He stopped by to grab some snacks, and that’s where my love for this place began. We picked up the crispy chicken sandwich, the turkey avocado sandwich, the strawberry and cream sandwich, and of course, the famous olive bread with dipping olive oil and wow, that olive bread is what won me over! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. Since then, I’ve been back several times, and the consistency has been impressive. My favorite item is definitely the turkey avocado sandwich, followed closely by the crispy chicken sandwich. There was one time my olive bread came out slightly burnt, but every visit after that has been perfect they really do pay attention to quality. Today marked my fourth visit, though I arrived a bit late in the afternoon, so many items were already sold out (a good sign of how popular this place is!). They were out of the turkey avocado sandwich, but one of the sweetest employees recommended their egg sandwich, saying it’s a customer favorite. I also decided to finally try their famous strawberry croissant with custard. Both were incredible. The egg sandwich was light, creamy, and super fresh one side had tomato, the other cucumber, giving it the perfect balance of texture and flavor. The strawberry croissant was pure heaven flaky pastry, smooth custard that wasn’t overly sweet, and fresh strawberries dusted with powdered sugar on top. Everything about it was perfect. My mom also loves Cream Pan every time I fly back home to Miami, she makes sure I bring her the olive bread. It’s become our little family tradition now. Overall, Cream Pan is a solid 10/10. The food is consistently delicious, the staff is kind, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It’s one of those rare bakeries that truly lives up to its reputation. Can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu!

Fair. All of you praising this place to high heaven, so envious you can be so happy with such low effort products 👌

I’ve been coming to Cream Pan for years. The ambiance has always been the same, simple, easy, and welcoming, with lots of fresh food to choose from. It’s been one of the reasons I’ve continued to support them, a reliable go-to spot with consistently good offerings. But today’s experience left me really disappointed. I had purchased some food and a hot large latte, but with errands and a lot on my mind, I accidentally left the drink behind. I called the store shortly after to apologize and let them know I’d be back to pick it up later, or if it was okay for one of my staff members to do so. The first person who answered the phone was extremely rude and dismissive. She gave me clear attitude, made me feel like I was bothering her, and without a word, threw the call to someone else. Thankfully, the second person was kind, professional, and helped me resolve the situation, but the treatment I received initially was uncalled for. The staff was trying to protect one another because when I asked the second girl twice, who that first girl's name was, she wouldn't answer my question. I wasn’t demanding, I wasn’t rude. I even apologized for the inconvenience. I just don’t understand why I was met with that kind of energy, especially when I was just trying to communicate and find a simple solution. I really do love Cream Pan as a brand. But the customer service experience matters just as much as the food. It’s the experience that makes people want to return, and if it starts to feel disrespectful or dismissive, it’s hard to want to keep coming back. I’m disappointed, especially because I care about supporting small businesses. But if staff aren’t trained to treat customers with basic courtesy, it’s going to cost them in the long run.

Great bakery with a fun ambiance and a variety of baked goods and more substantial options like sandwiches. I can't speak to the coffee but the matcha was high quality. The breakfast sandwich was great and the upgrade to a crossiont roll was worth it.

My parents have been coming here since before I was born so automatically, I’ve grown up coming to this spot. It’s one of my favorites for the food/drinks, atmosphere, and fresh in-house made bread! They have many vegan friendly options such as JustEgg, and dairy free options too. They make a mean lavender oat milk latte and the BEST almond croissant you’ll ever have. The almond croissants taste like they were imported from Paris through an overnight plane. They’re seriously off the charts. They also make some of the best rosemary sourdough bread I’ve ever had. It’s fresh and the rosemary isn’t overpowering, it’s just the right amount. All of their tarts/desserts are certainly worth trying. I stock up on a big box to bring home for Thanksgiving every year. If you’re ever visiting Orange County, this spot is close to the airport and definitely worth visiting for coffee and breakfast/brunch.

Coffee is trash and the service is worse. Their espresso machine was so caked with old grounds I could see it from the counter and they kept telling me they didn’t know why my 7 dollar espresso tasted like old trash. They also charge 15 plus a plate for breakfast, which I was too afraid to eat after seeing the cleanliness of their front end operation.

What a cute bakery and cafe. My Fresh Prince was amazingly tasty! The red pepper Mayo was also very tasty. The bread, bakery and cookie options were phenomenal! Enormous cookies and the Cinnamon Churro Twists are enormous! My pumpkin chai latte was also delish! A MUST if you’re in the area!!

I was not impressed with the food and drinks as much as I was with the display. The mini camper display was cute. Fresh Prince was not lacking flavor because it tasted like nothing. The hot chocolate was, well, just hot, not exactly most delicious. The real issue for me was the wait... It took over 30 minutes for my food and drinks! Maybe it was understaffed, but to wait so long for food and drinks in the morning was quite frustrating. Overall, just an average.

We ordered a birthday cake and they did a beautiful job! The service was wonderful and they had our cake ready when we picked it up. It was also delicious! We had the vanilla cake with buttercream and it reminded me sooo much of my favorite Florida cakes from Publix—iykyk! Thank you for the wonderful cake and smash cake! My little one loved it!

They used to offer a uniquely special omelet cheese bread with a jalapeño option as a daily option and it would sell out every day. Now it is just special order but it is worth the trip and the special order. Enough so that when I travel from out of state, I schedule time nearly every trip to get to French's after calling a day in advance for the cheese bread, extra cheesy. It is about $7 a loaf and well worth it. Imagine a firm, pillowy textured bread with strong veins if golden cheddar mixed throughout a moist egg based dough. The mouth feel is excellent and the cheesy, slightly salty taste results in a total loaf being consumed as a meal substitute. Very hard to put down. Almost as if a deliciously cheesy quiche morphed into a loaf of bread. French's was hit hard by covid and had to consolidate some stores. I worry some day it will no longer be around, similar to the classic Claim Jumper of old (bought out and commercialized elsewhere into a shell of its former self). This is a bread that a cheese monger or bread lover should try before you die. Other than that, French's has a large variety of baked treats, bread and they make excellent custom cakes. It might remind you of an actual French bakery you might encounter in Saint Germain. Trust me and treat yourself to this delicacy, a treat I haven't encountered anywhere else.

Celebrating a co-worker's birthday, we stopped at French's Bakery in Costa Mesa to pick up a cake for a surprise birthday party. The staff took care of me, making sure the cake was ready to go and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. They have a wide selection to choose from and if you have enough time, you can have custom cakes made. Great prices. Definitely will use again.

I ordered on DoorDash because of the reviews I paid extra because I live a long way away. Very disappointed no better than average what you get at a supermarket for the cookies for the cupcakes . these taste like they’re made with mixes just like you could buy in the store chocolate chip cookies by the dozen are mediocre. I’m really disappointed. I wanted to have something really good.

Excellent bakery. My wife had been a French's supporter when she was young and living in the Costa Mesa area. We are in Colorado now, but when visiting Disneyland, we make sure we go to French's and pack a cooler on our way back home. Update: 2025, things seemed to have changed, smaller portions, not tasting the same. Most likely will not go out of my way to stop when visiting Disneyland now living in Washington State.

It’s a very “bourge” cake shop. My tiramisu crape cake was ok but definitely had better pastries. $12 ~$13 price is average dessert cost at a nice restaurant but very small but I wouldn’t go out to eat just cake for this price. However, it can be a perfect place for a blind date - if you don’t like the date you only suffer through cake and drink🖖 Space was cleaner than some hospital. Glass and utensils were both exceptionally clean which I appreciate. My son took me there so I did enjoy it but I probably won’t go back there simply because there are countless pastry shop that are much better than this.

Lady M is an amazing place! The atmosphere is perfect—comfortable and peaceful, making you feel relaxed right away. Their desserts are truly one of a kind, made with the finest ingredients. The chocolate cake was absolutely heavenly, with layers that are perfectly crafted. What really surprised me was the coffee. I honestly didn’t expect much, but it turned out to be one of the best coffees I’ve ever had—rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. I first discovered Lady M in New York, and I was so glad to visit it here in California. This place is highly recommended if you want something truly different, refined, and delicious.

Ordered a Peach Melba crepe via UberEats for pick-up, but was given guava instead — I’m ALLERGIC to guava. Only realized after my first bite. Returned immediately, but the store still wanted to charge me again and didn’t acknowledge their mistake. For $12.95 a slice, this level of service and disregard for allergies is unacceptable.

⭐ 2 stars – Disappointed by the service, again. I’ve visited this Lady M location multiple times, and the customer service is consistently the worst compared to their other stores. The food is great—that’s the only reason I keep coming back. But the service? Always disappointing. This time, I asked for a specific cake by name—TWICE—and the staff still didn’t know which one I meant. There aren’t even that many cake options, so I was shocked they weren’t familiar with them. I ended up having to describe the color of the cake just to place an order. I came in on a Sunday at 3pm for just 3 slices of cake and still waited 15 minutes—with 3 staff members standing around. No one seemed to know how to manage the line or speed up service. At $11–$15 per slice, you expect at least decent service. But here it’s consistently slow, unwelcoming, and untrained. No one says "welcome" or "thank you," and the staff don’t seem to know their own menu—one employee even tried to tell me their signature cake was sold out, when it was literally sitting next to the cashier. I’ve been to Lady M in New York and LA—those locations are nothing like this. This Orange County store seriously needs better management and staff training. If you’re planning to visit, lower your expectations. The cakes are worth it, but this location is not.

This cake was so good! Super soft, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. The pink one had a fun flavor and the pistachio on top was a nice touch of crunch. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area!

Amazingly light, yet highly gourmet cakes and cupcakes with fine ingredients! For example, the pistachio cupcake had a pistachio sponge with pistachio liquid filling and the a lot of amazing buttercream on top that was covered with crushed pistachios. There was also a chocolate cake slice that had a hazelnut cream layer that I wasn’t expecting but tasted really amazing. I didn’t feel like either of them was too heavy (shared with another person). Great, upscale bakery!

The pistachio tea cake is amazing. Very moist and flavourful. They have amazing pastries with India fusion and are delightful and delicious. Highly recommend this place who wants to try Indian fusion and Afghan deserts.

I just had a small gathering here. The coffee was great, the cake was delicious, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I especially loved the little heart on top of my mocha latte — such a nice touch!

I am so sad as an Afghan I came to supported this small business and get the Afghan milk tea. It was my birthday I inputted my phone number to redeem any birthday discount or get something to show my loyalty as a customer however the barista was like go on line I can’t do anything for you but usually we give a 5 dollar discount she said. usually I showed my id hoping to get my brithday gift but she passed me off as if i was a beggar so sad. Absolutely loved this bakery! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the amazing aroma of freshly baked goods. Everything I tried—from their soft, buttery croissants to their rich, moist cakes—was absolutely delicious. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put genuine care into every item. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the whole place had such a cozy, welcoming vibe. Whether you’re grabbing a quick treat or ordering for a special occasion, this bakery is a gem. I loved this bakery/cafe, which I visited for the first time, on 8/19/25. They have quite an imaginative variety of fresh-baked pastries, & all of them look so pretty in their lengthy glass patisserie cases. Of the 3 pastries we tried, I liked the Cinnamon Apple Cruffin best. It was like having Grandma's apple pie, placed in the center of a light & flaky croissant. My next favorite was their Coconut Passion Fruit Cake-a delicate multi-layered cake, topped with a creamy frosting, with tart & tangy passion fruit jelly in between layers, plus a bit resting on top of the frosting. Scratch Bakery Cafe has a decent menu of food choices, including breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, & the like, plus a fairly impressive list of lunch sandwiches, cradled in their delicious fresh-baked bread. Speaking of bread, cello-wrapped loaves of different varieties of breads are available for purchase here, as are wrapped packs of multiple cookies types, as well. I had a Turkey Avocado Sandwich, on sourdough. This sandwich was tasty, & it came with choice of potato chips, or potato salad. I got the potato salad, & really enjoyed how creamy it was, plus I loved the dill & herb nuances. Overall, the sandwich was really good, with lettuce, tomato, avocado, red onion, cheese, plus 3 thin slices of turkey. For $15.95, I felt they could've added a bit more turkey, on this one, if I'm honest. The sourdough toast it was served on, was amazing. Scratch Bakery Cafe serves a full selection of coffee drinks, & I chose a medium Americano, which I really enjoyed, with a Chocolate Bomb mousse goodie. The coffee complimented this delicate chocolate treat, so nicely! They have a large wrap-around outdoor patio, with lots of tables & chairs. I found this to be a relaxing place, to enjoy delicious fresh-made food & treats. It was hard to find fault with this bakery/cafe, hence my 5 star rating.

My friends and I had a staycation in the area and found this wonderful bakery to have breakfast at. The food was delicious and there were a lot of pastries and breads to choose from.

The Black Forest ham and egg sandwich used to be amazing. They have discontinued Swiss and now use some sort of processed white cheddar sauce. It is gross. Upon ordering, I specifically asked if it is legit cheddar or if it’s processed cheese food. They said legit. Please educate your staff if you’re going to commit to serving low quality food. You’ve lost at least 2 customers for life now. Very disappointing.

This is a great place to get breakfast. It also is very popular and gets busier year after year. I remember going there in the morning and it was not as busy, but through the years I've seen it first hand get more and more busy.

Cool little bakery cafe for breakfast and lunch. Third time here, and I wanted to try something with the home made english muffins. Eggs benedict was the choice! Eggs were cooked great, english muffin was delicious and hollandaise was well done as well. Breakfast potatoes were good but lukewarm at best. Hubby had the breakfast burrito with sausage which he said was excellent. Coffee was a delicious roast. The only negative is that you have to purchase refills….You should at least get one refill. It was a nice day so we sat outside in shade. There was so many yummy goodies in the case I wanted to try them all but resisted!

I ordered the vegetarian burrito and it was so bitter I couldn’t eat it. My latte had foam, but not the creamy kind, more like soap bubble and it tasted awful. The matcha latte wasn’t even green and just tasted like overly sweetened milk. reallly disappointing overall. would not recommend.

Had the egg florentine and vegetarian burrito with latte and matcha. We couldn't finish our food, the quality was so low. The matcha tasted like soap, was barely green, the foam on the latte was like a soap foam. The matcha was also super sweet, I wasn't asked if I wanted it to be sweetened or not qheb I ordered. The eggs were pale, showing they were the cheapest quality. The burrito tasted bitter, it came in a huge plate with no sides! This was our first and last time here.

Be careful how they charge. The picture shows two nearly identical breads. The top one is pineapple coco bread for $2.65. The lower one with peanut flavor was charged as Russian bread for $3.50. Check receipts before leaving the store.

One of the best French-inspired bakeries in the area (better flavor than Paris Baguette), with their own Asian twist to some desserts. I hope to try one of their full cakes for an event today.

The bakery serves classic chinese-style baked goods, such as pork floss buns or taro flaky pastry. Its a great place. This review is mostly to bring attention that the attached cafe has two updates: 1. it is open from 11 AM to 4 PM, and closed on wednesdays unlike the main bakery. 2. Starting 7/1/2024, the cafe will no longer serve meals. This is really unfortunate since the meals were great, but it makes sense given the traffic was not high (theres a place in the same plaza that serves similar cuisine.)

J.J. Bakery is a hidden gem that offers a good selection of Taiwanese breads and snacks. The bakery items are delicious and the cakes are light and perfectly sweetened. The tiramisu cake is a must-try! The family-owned business is very welcoming and the service is fast. There are a few tables for dine-in and a few outside. Although the cafe is closed, you can still get takeaway and sit outside. The boba here is fresh and of good quality. However, the bakery items tend to sell out quickly, which can be a downside. One of the few drawbacks of this bakery is that every single item in the store is wrapped in plastic, which is not environmentally friendly. It's worth noting that the sweet rolls could be softer and more tender, rather than being bread with whipped cream in it. The staff can also be a little bit impatient, as one customer mentioned that the server huffed and made a face when she had to remove another tray from the display to get the customer the pastry she wanted. Overall, J.J. Bakery is a great place for Taiwanese bread, snacks, and cakes. It's a shame that they wrap everything in plastic, but the quality of the food makes up for it. If you're in the Irvine, it's definitely worth checking out!

If there is a JJ Bakery in the area, then it means you will have an awesome time browsing through all the pastries, bread options and delicious desserts. Some people might be overwhelmed but the items are so affordable that you can come get a bunch of options and not burn a whole in your wallet. We always come for the egg custard tart, also known as the Daan tat. We’ve ordered birthday cakes from this place so many times we lost count. This place is awesome.

I visited this location on a Monday night just before closing, so there weren't as many pastries available. However, I was pleasantly surprised by their tea time cookies. They were delicious and paired perfectly with my tea. Overall, despite the limited pastry selection, the cookies made my visit well worth it.

First meal in Irvine 20 years ago was the sausage fried rice here. Just got it again. Flavors are consistent and nourishing every time.

Bacio di Latte has some of the best gelato I have had! The flavor here is great. They have some great options to choose from. The place was very clean and nice. There was no seating available really other than a few spots which was unfortunate for such a nice place. Service was good here. I’d definitely recommend stopping here for a great dessert option.

Had the most underwhelming experience at this place, was so excited about trying it out and has a second unhappy experience. Got a pistachio latte the first time and the coffee was not even strong enough to give the latte color let alone flavor, tried the pistachio affogato the second time and got charged for it with a scoop of pistachio ice cream but got served with a vanilla icecream instead and the matcha was clumpy and below average anyways. Waste of money I wish i’d get a refund for both my drinks. I threw away both of the drinks after a few sips anyways. so unfortunate that the experience was this bad. I had high hopes from the brand.

Stopped by to pick up a melon pan and a loaf of shokupan, but also was curious about the iced kinako milk tea. Melon pan was surprisingly pleasant. The crust had a light crisp and sprinkled with granulated sugar. It's no melon pan from Asakusa's Kagetsudo, but it'll do! I got a full flavor of kinako my first few sips. However, as I got to the bottom, I could see undissolved sugar and kinako powder at the bottom. So execution was lacking. Finally, the shokupan was soft and fluffy. Can't complain as it made for a killer tamago sando!

Top picks: Strawberry Cheesecake Danish & Spicy Curry Donut. An absolute must whenever I'm here. My boyfriend loves their strawberry cheesecake Danish pastries, but my recent favorites have been the Almond Danish and spicy curry donut. The curry packs some heat, which was surprising because I feel most "spicy" Japanese dishes are relatively mild for my taste buds. Other items that I like, but haven't had a ton of repeats have been the custard pudding, bavarian chocolate, mixed fruit tart and red bean cream bun. It's not because they weren't good, but I had my eyes on the strawberry danishes. They always sell out if you come later in the day. However, I think I may try to venture out of my norm on my next visit.

I saw on Yelp that this place had green tea soft serve, so I was excited. Have to say I was pretty disappointed. I got the green tea and vanilla mixed soft serve, which I do have to say was rather cheap, but not the best quality. The soft serve was really icy and not like that creamy soft serve texture that you can get at other places. One nice thing was that they put Cinnamon Toast Crunch at the bottom of the soft serve, which actually worked really well with the ice cream. Will definitely be keeping this in mind when I get ice cream now. However, the overall quality was not that good. I didn't get any of their pastries, but some did look good. May come back to try them out, but their soft serve doesn't really deserve this much praise.

The soft serve ice cream is decent, what you would expect for soft serve. The green tea flavor is not strong so if you are expecting a green tea flavorful treat, you should try elsewhere.

I used to come here back in the late 90' and early 00' there was always fresh bread no matter the time. I stopped coming here in the late 00' as this stopped being the norm. I have tried it on a few different occasions since then and I always run into stale bread. Today was no different stale bread and some burnt. I don't know if they only bake in the morning and by early evening it's all stale. I can say that the bread I got today seems like it was baked yesterday. I don't think I will be back. I miss the days that there was baking multiple times a day and the humidity from the warm fresh bread would make you feel like a hot stuffy summer day in Texas.

The red ribbon bake shop is located in the seafood city market. There is also a Jollibee inside after visiting Jollibee’s. I stop by to get two Ube mamons and a caramel Yema ( disgusting could not finish it ) really don’t like the texture of the cake. It’s too spongy.

Complaint about their crumbling ube overload cake to the Manager Heide. It was for my dad’s birthday, who loves Ube cake. The response was unbelievable—very poor customer service. Heide’s voice was high during the phone call, and I was asked, “So what do you want me to do? We don’t do refunds!” Not after the refund; I just wanted to ask when the cake was made because it was so dry and crumbled. She said the cake was baked Saturday, and we picked up the cake yesterday, Monday. That explains why it is very dry. She was very rude and wanted me to bring the cake back! Haha! I told her it crumbled when we sliced it. Do you want me to pick it up from the trash? She said, “That’s why you need to slice it with a hot knife!” I never heard of that before! We were given the plastic knife together with the cakes! She said, “Pick up another cake here that matches the amount you got, and bring your receipt!” I read another comment here about her being rude and it is legit. I don’t know why she got the position, but she is not a good representative of the company we loved in the Philippines. I hope the Red Ribbon corporate can read this message. Please train your manager Heide.

I would say the quality of Red Ribbons cakes have gone so bad. We purchased Ube cake. 1) texture was not the usual Red Ribbon cake known for its smooth and moist texture. The ube cake we purchased was dry and crumbly as if held on the shelf for several days (2) Flavor did not even manifest a patina of ube. The supposed ube cake was sugary with a strong bitter after taste. (3) Packaging: i The cake was sold/packed in a lousy designed box. We had to throw away the entire cake after one slice. It was awful. Red isn't what it used to be.

My husband and I used Pacific Patisserie for our wedding cake and absolutely loved it! They are very hospitable and kind. They let us sample other cakes that weren’t even on the sample list. We also had to bring our niece along and they were so sweet with her! The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious, they also added some extra embellishments that we requested. We got 3 different flavors and they were all incredible. I highly recommend this bakery!

Pacific Patisserie made our wedding cake, and it was nothing short of perfection! Our guests raved about it, saying it was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted. The artistry was out of this world and they absolutely made my vision come to life which was a little unconventional! Our wedding cake from Pacific Patisserie was everything you could want in a wedding cake - beautiful and delicious! They were able to replicate the vintage-style cake we showed them during our tasting better than we could have imagined, with every bit of detailed piping done to perfection. We selected lemon blueberry and marble hazelnut layers and our guests raved about how delicious it was. I think the lemon blueberry flavor was one of my favorite cakes ever!!

This review is long overdue, but finally got around to it. Boy was I unimpressed. Ordered a custom cake for our wedding back in 2022. The tasting was great and we picked our colors (soft spring colors), flavors, the topper and all the other details. We had picked it out about 3 months before the wedding day. A couple of days later I called and adjusted the colors I had picked (Now hues of pink and a burgundy and green!) and emailed them the reference photo of the colors I wanted and they confirmed in email as well the exact changes. (See pic for reference and their email confirmation) Come my wedding day, I was so excited to see the cake, but to my dismay, the entire color scheme was off and on top of that they had ordered the topper incorrectly. I was so so disappointed I started to tear up. But oh well I guess. Nothing I can do now… Considering the amount paid and time provided, I had expected that the order would have been at the very least, accurate, but that was not the case. The cake itself tasted great. That was the only good part. I guess it’s what’s on the inside that counts, right? Lol Still super bummed that everything went wrong other than the flavors. Didn’t even want to take pictures of the cake… Still get sad looking at the cake cutting and seeing neon orange and yellow and, in my opinion, an ugly topper I didn’t ask for lol (see pic of the actual cake and the incorrect topper and a reference of what I had actually ordered) My advice if you order from here - quadruple check ALL your order details with them MULTIPLE times to avoid a disappointment. Try to get picture confirmations! Trust me on this. Don’t be like me. Don’t give them the benefit of the doubt to get it right. Their cakes taste good. Their order accuracy, does not.

As a Frenchman living in the US I’ve been looking for a good baguette and the baguette tradition is simply delicious, authentic and fairly priced! Super happy to have this store nearby. The pain au chocolat is also delicious!

This is actually a wholesale shop location/bakery/ Warehouse NOT a real coffee shop or a shop for people to come and just buy off the shelf or order but you could pre-order online they say ALL their products are available at Irvine Ranch market and some of their products at all mother's markets. I wish they had a better description of the store online

I rarely write reviews because normally is hard to find top quality food. I met these guys last Saturday at the Laguna Beach Farmer's market. The sourdough bread I bought was perfect. The 2 croissants, 1 chocolate and 1 strawberries were superb. The most real French-like quality I have found so far in OC. TOP BAKERY!

Stale bread and knockoff recipes from the original cuisine. As for the staff they lack communication skills and are friendly. Would not recommend their pastries as they do not stand out at all. Porto’s has 10x better pastries and that’s not even their main focus.

The best bread probably in orange county maybe even so cal. Delicious. Man could definitely live on bread alone from here. They make many types, each with passion and care to make them the finest. Besides being available in the finest restaurants arround you can also get it at some farmers markets and a few specialty shops.

The original cheesetella is a light and fluffy sponge cake that's not too sweet. The flavor is very mild. Not your typical dessert cake. I really enjoy it. This location is nice and clean with friendly service.

Cakes and castella were freshly baked when we arrived. They are not overly sweet and have a heavenly fluffy texture! Very delicious. The owner happened to be there, he was very friendly and helpful.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I was genuinely touched and deeply impressed by the owner of this Cheesetella location. I had placed an order for a cheese castella through Uber Eats, only to learn that they had run out of the item I requested. To make matters more difficult, a temporary power outage meant they weren’t sure when a new batch could be made. Despite the circumstances, the owner went above and beyond to make things right. He kindly offered to send me two complimentary items if I chose an alternative order. To my surprise and delight, not only did he include two delicious complimentary treats, but he also added a coffee—completely free of charge. It’s so rare these days to encounter such genuine care and outstanding customer service. This thoughtful gesture truly made my day and turned an inconvenience into a memorable experience. Thank you for going the extra mile—you’ve definitely earned a loyal customer!

Had bought twice from them but then on the third time had an awful experience, saw they had Halloween special(?) flavor but when went to the store they were confused on what I was talking about and didn’t even try to explain what they actually meant.. my fav used to be the cheesetella but they were sold out that day (along with one other flavor) so I asked if I could sample other flavors to which I was rudely responded with “no, no samples”..

The person behind the counter was super helpful! I forgot his name; THANK YOU. I tried the Creme cake and the regular cheese cake. I would suggest to go with the regular cheese cake. The creme cake is nothing more than done creme sandwiches between 2 thick slices of sponge cake.

Do not patronize Dean’s business. He is unethical, uncaring and greedy. Last week I was parked in the parking lot adjacent to his bakery when one of his employees negligently lost control of a dumpster and that dumpster ended up slamming into the back of my car. The overall damage wasn’t significant but I do need a new tail light. It would cost an estimated $200 to have someone repair the tail light but upon contacting Dean he refused saying he was not liable due to windy conditions that day. There is video proof that Dean’s employees were using that dumpster when it slammed into my car. The damage was well under my insurance deductible and Dean seemed to know that and told me to pound sand. I then asked him in an email to buy the $60 tail light lens for me and he has refused to respond. I even made it easy for him and supplied an amazon link for the part. Dean has decided that he would rather save $60 than do the right thing. I will be posting this story on every one of his online review and social media pages. Do business with him at your own risk.

OC Baking Co bakes the best bread! I also love the croissants. It's a great place to pick up ready to eat foods. Other local eateries are also located here so it's a neighborhood gem where you can find great eats in addition to the OC Baking goodies such as Indian food, sandwiches, dumplings, barbecue, donuts, and I'm sorry I 'm sure there is more food as well. Highly recommend. Only open on Fridays, so set a calendar reminder to stop by!

Worth the drive from Irvine for great selection of artisan bread and rolls. Prices are great for this high quality. Friendly staff, easy to social distance.

We really enjoyed our donuts to go. Fortunately, we went from the place next to and got out very quick. Very clean place with a welcoming staff. We’ll be back next time in town.

I always pass this place and finally decided to give it a try, I’m so glad I did. I was extremely happy with what I had. It’s a charming little shop with a nice variety of baked goods. I ordered the waffle and was amazed, it was freshly made, which I didn’t expect. The staff was also really friendly. She answered all of my questions, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I’d definitely go again. The lack of reviews really doesn’t do this place justice.

Challah was not only unfresh but also had bad quality ingredients (bleached flour among others) and preservatives, which should not be the case for such a high price. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

Everything we tried was amazing! (Cupcakes, Belgian waffle, cookies, challah). The bakery is beautiful - love the open concept with the counter you can walk around. And there’s a large window where you can watch the staff baking in the back. We will definitely come back whenever we’re in OC!

Wow! What an amazing bakery!!! Cheryl at the Blessed Braid bakery in Irvine is so good!! The vegan Challah is delicious and the right size for 2 people. We almost ate the entire loaf and the wedding cookies?? Omg! Just go!! So happy to have found this bakery!!

So this is a legit professional bakery but it's not a sit down and sip latte with your pie bakery. You just order and go. They specialize in challah breads and other kosher goodies and it smells divine. Service is super friendly and the few things I tried were so good. The mint brownie is a gooey wonder.

We can't say enough good things about Plumeria Cake Studio! From the initial consultation to the moment we cut into our wedding cake, the entire experience was exceptional. The cake tasting was an event in itself – the flavors were out of this world! It's not an exaggeration to say that Plumeria's cakes are in a class of their own. They were so delicious, moist, and flavorful, unlike any wedding cake we've ever had. Beyond the taste, the cake was also a work of art. Plumeria Cake Studio provided our delicious wedding cake. Plumeria was recommended to my husband and I by our wedding planner. We had tried several other wedding cake’s but Plumeria’s was hands down the tastiest. We met with Jennifer and she let us try several different flavors including an extra flavor which we ended up picking as a second flavor in our cake! I’m not a big cake person but I really enjoyed their cake! Our cake was exactly what we wanted and guests loved having the option of two different flavors. Jennifer did a phenomenal job on the desserts for our wedding in Orange County. First of all, her desserts were hands down the tastiest we tried among other OC bakeries. We wanted a selection of "mini" desserts rather than one big cake, and Jennifer had my favorite (bread pudding) and my husband's favorite (cheesecake) in miniature form, along with many other treats to choose from. The best part were the mini cupcakes that Jennifer decorated to look like potted succulents (our florals for the wedding were mostly succulents). The photo does not even do them justice!! We got so many compliments on how delicious and beautiful the dessert table was. Thank you, Jennifer, for helping make our big day special!

Jennifer is so passionate, so sweet, so patient, and very professional. She has so many options and everything we tasted during our cake tasting for our wedding were amazing. The cakes are all moist and flavorful and how she designs and creates cake and her desserts are not only good in taste, but makes them beautiful. These cakes are such a treat! Flavorful, rich, decadent, with perfect cake-to-frosting ratio. This review is for three (3) cakes that I ordered for different events/holidays. These cakes make such a beautiful & thoughtful gift OR centerpiece. The Pumpkin Chai is absolutely delicious. It’s hard to believe it is gluten free. I could eat the chai sauce as a stand alone treat! The German chocolate is superb! The ganache and coconut layers are perfectly rich and compliment the chocolate cake perfectly. The lemon raspberry cake has the perfect lemony cake base. The raspberry sauce is also very good. I will definitely try the lemon-lemon version of this cake. In my experience, these cakes hold up very well if refrigerated. I’ve also heard that they freeze well! All three cakes that I’ve tried were fantastic and tasted even better the next day! I wish these were available beyond the OC!

My cake from Beeside Cottage Cakery was incredible! The chocolate cake with fresh strawberries and coconut whipped cream topping was delicious, moist, and full of flavor. You can taste the quality of the ingredients used to make this masterpiece. The presentation of the cake was simply elegant, with no detail overlooked, and the fresh flowers on top were a beautiful finishing touch! You can’t go wrong with a cake from Beeside Cottage Cakery.

I never order cakes from anywhere until now. I'm picky about quality and what goes into what I eat. And to be honest, I've never loved the flavor profiles or taste until now! I also have a dye allergy which makes it even harder yet. Who wants to make their own birthday cake anyways?! Kellie has done an amazing job with this chocolate cake which has chocolate ganache and caramel in the layers. I've also had the pleasure of trying her German chocolate and pumpkin cake! This woman knows here cake! You get all the flavors without one over powering the other. The textures are on point as well as the presentation. Do yourself a favor and try her cakes...all of them!!!

Oh my goodness! AMAZING! I just had the joy of trying a German Chocolate cake from Beeside Cottage and I cannot say enough about it! It was A-MAZING! I've never had a gluten free cake that didn't taste like it was "gluten free" , but this cake will knock your socks off! It's moist, you can taste all the flavors, the coconut, the deep chocolate flavor and its sweetened with maple syrup...I'm in heaven. I'm defiantly excited to try the different masterpieces that Kellie is creating at Beeside Cottage Cakery!

Kellie's cakes are amazing! Delicious, moist, and totally beautiful! Kellie doesn't cut corners and offers the utmost of attention to any sort of dietary sensitivities. Not only are they delicious, I always joke that they're so good for you it's basically like taking a vitamin, but you're eating delicious CAKE!! You won't be disappointed!

I've ordered two cakes from Beeside...it's my go-to for a delicious gluten-free treat. Carrot cake is my favorite. The icing is the right amount of sweetness and it just melts in your mouth! And the owner delivers! Highly recommend.

Grace and Honey had beautiful and detailed wedding cakes online, and after we spoke to Maria and saw the menu it was definitely our first choice. We worked with our venue who recommended Grace and Honey and after we had our cake tasting we fell in love with Maria's cakes not only because they were beautiful but it was SO delicious. It is not common for people to say they LOVED their wedding cake, or for guests to say that they had a delicious wedding cake at the wedding they attended, but we experienced both. Due to the pandemic, we tried our wedding cakes "at-home" and we would do the cake tasting all over again if we could because every single flavor was so good. The flavors of the cakes are unique, with special and creative ingredients (it's not your typical wedding cake). We decided to go with the Lavender cake (Light Lemon and Lavender cake with Lavender Buttercream and Raspberry Preserves). We added detailed and delicate designs that in-person came out so beautiful with a touch of our wedding flowers from our florist. IT was our dream cake, and we cannot wait to order another special occasion cake with Grace and Honey soon. Our guests raged about how delicious, moist, and beautiful the cake was. Thanks Maria! Kathy did a phenomenal job on my daughter’s 30th birthday cake. I called so many bakeries to find someone who would make a strawberry cake and no one would or could make one. I found her and she was just down the street! She knocked it out of the park! Definitely will use her again!!!

Talk about excellent customer service, saving the day, and being as convenient as they can be. Kathy went above and beyond for a last minute special custom order, hand delivered it, even wrote on the card for me (I am out of town), and she did it with the best attitude ever. Worth every penny. Use her and you won’t regret it.

I live three hours away and wanted to surprise four young ones with some unique Halloween baskets and Cora and her crew knocked it out of the park!!! I can’t brag enough on their attention to detail and how easy it was to work with her through email. Thanks so much for making more than just the kids smile!!!

We came here with 8 people, and the weather was so nice that sat at an outside table. We ordered variety of Hamburgers, Pasta, Steak, Korean fried chicken, and more. All the food was great and so much that we couldn’t finish it. Nevertheless, We had a Cheese cake, the signature menu here, and it was so good for me that among the best cheese cake I had.

Moderate Review: The Cheesecake Factory – Irvine Spectrum I've been a loyal customer of The Cheesecake Factory at Irvine Spectrum for over 18 years, and it’s always been one of my go-to spots for a reliable dining experience. However, my recent visit on a Saturday night left me with mixed feelings. One major inconvenience was the lack of phone reservations. We had to wait around 35–45 minutes to be seated, which was frustrating considering the crowds. The restaurant was packed, and it was clear that the number of servers didn’t quite match the volume of guests. As a result, the service was slower than what I’ve come to expect over the years. The food, while still decent, seemed a bit off from its usual standard. It felt more like mass-produced, factory-style preparation this time, and the freshness just wasn’t there. That said, the signature brown bread they serve at the beginning is still one of the best — warm, soft, and flavorful. One thing I’ve always appreciated about their menu is the wide variety of options for both kids and adults. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to see that they’ve removed the eggplant stew, which used to be one of my favorites. I still hold hope that they revisit their service standards and food quality. I’d love to see them return to the excellence that made them a standout all these years. Looking forward to coming back when that happens.

I have visited this restaurant several times, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, with generous portion sizes that make every meal feel satisfying and worthwhile. The ingredients always taste fresh, and the dishes are prepared with great care and attention to flavor. However, one recurring issue is the wait time. It often takes quite a while for the food to arrive, even when the restaurant isn’t particularly busy. While the quality of the food makes up for the delay, it’s something to keep in mind if you’re planning to dine here. Overall, it’s a wonderful place with excellent food and hearty portions — just be prepared to wait a little longer than usual.

Went twice while visiting. we sat at the bar for drinks before a movie (sorry no pictures) but the service was good and the sangria tasty and cold. We also went to lunch. My friend and I visited this restaurant for a chat and a bite. We ordered appetizers as soon as we arrived, but it took an excruciatingly long hour and five minutes for them to arrive. To make matters worse, they completely forgot to bring one of the items we had specifically ordered and expected to receive first, for some reason they had the audacity to bring it last and forget to add it overall. To top it all off, the manager offered only cheesecakes, which were not even on our menu. So, if you’re willing to wait for an hour and a half for mediocre appetizers and a pizza that tastes just as good anywhere else, this restaurant is definitely not worth your time.

It had been awhile since my last visit... any way, we came for a team lunch. Sat outside, the weather and temperature can't be better. 2 servers assigned for our group of 20ppl. Service was great, tentative and considerably quick for big group. We pretty much ordered from lunch specials, portions were huge .. for lunch. Big bang for bucks for sure. Foodwise, can't speak for everybody else but my "Famous Factory Meatloaf" was good but didn't knock my socks off. Texture was fine, a bit herbal. Topped with mushrooms sauce which was not mushrooms and was not umami. Since the sauce is not any special so doesn't add any taste wise, I would prefer the old fashioned ketchup-brown sugar glaze. Mashed potatoes was good but not flavorful. We ordered a few of cheesecakes. The original one was average. The tripple berry bliss was very good. The Godiva chocolate cheesecake was exceptionally good, very chocolaty but not super sweet, silky but not super dense. Ran into one of co-workers so I asked what she ordered. She ordered an Asian noodle dish, it was so average at best....

I visited the Cheesecake Factory in Irvine and was really disappointed. I ordered the Caesar salad and a white sauce pasta, and both were incredibly underwhelming. The salad tasted like it came straight out of an old bag from the grocery store—limp, bland, and not fresh at all. The pasta wasn’t any better; it was bland and lacked any real flavor or seasoning. For the price and the reputation, I expected much better. Definitely not worth it—won’t be returning.

I bought 4 large cookies today around 2:30pm. The 4 large cookies came out to exactly $15.40 (not cheap). They looked great in the case . This is my first time ever buying any pastries from French's and I was beyond disappointed. I'm not sure if this is how their cookies always are or if I randomly got sold old cookies but 3 out of 4 of my cookies were dry as sand. You can see in the photos provided that these cookies were completely dried out. When I broke the cookie in half to try it...the cookie literally SNAPPED ...there was zero ounce of softness or moisture in these cookies. I hope they reevaluate their timeliness of selling their cookies or have better quality control because this was ridiculous.

This bakery looks really nice on the inside and the items they sell are very delicious with a wide selection to choose from. The workers are very kind and will recommend good treats and help with any questions you have.

I had to wait as a call was conducted, the person came from the back immediately and greated the next customer en Español and bellowex at the cashier as she counted my change....the coffee was Navy quality, the danish was made by a baker with a decidedly non-French recipe; not flakey, but dry and pan de sol type. No scones available, whichbis my usual yardstick for a patisserie.

Inventory was very low re loaves of bread goes. Just 2 loaves were on the shelf. Ended up getting pastry & cookies.

This is not what a King cake is supposed to look like, even worse this is not what a King cake is supposed to taste like, I asked and PAID for cream cheese filling, as you can see in the photo, there was nothing there. All they seem interested in is making sure I knew what time they closed....?

I placed an order over the phone a week before for a birthday cake. The young lady who answered gave me all the info price and cake layout. She said I can pay when I pick it up. Then I was running a little late called them to let them know since I live in a different county and I come to find out that there was no order for me. I was beyond upset since it was for my daughters birthday. Luckily the baker was there and was able to put a cake together for me. How it tastes I won’t know till later. Regardless go in and pay for your cakes otherwise you run the chance of having no cake for your special event.
