They also make special order hamburger buns in lots of different colors. They sell tortillas, tostadas, salsas and lots of home cooking ingredients. Come support and try their delicious treats!

I want to share What I love about this place... Ricardo makes these great powder cookies that I'm so cracy for. You take a bit and they disolve in your mouth with this great taste. I love them with coffee. Must try them.

The food quality has gone down big time..... As of February 2022, the food is disgusting. No flavor....not even the beans. How do you mess up beans???? I purchased a burrito and a tamale... $13. The burrito had absolutely no flavor. The tamale was bland and the meat was disgusting. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Sticky Fingers is a treasure of a bake shop thats earned its reputation as a beloved local institution. The muffins they offer are delicious, uniquely flavored, and excellently baked. The shops got a cool and quirky aesthetic, especially their zebra striped, pink lidded hot beverage cups. The owner is kind and engaging. Every experience I've had here has been great. These fine baked goods are a hot commodity - the earlier you get there the better chance you have at getting what you want.

Excellent local bakery! I bought my wife 8 different gluten free muffins and I had one that wasn't. Yum! Not too sweet but packed full of flavor! Get there early because they close when they sell out.

Sticky Fingers has the most decadent, delicious pastries in town, especially their dairy-free and gluten-free options. The location is small, but really cute and cozy, and the staff are so genuine and caring. It's great to have such an amazing place to get pastries and not worry about allergic reactions.

At this point, I can only tell you about the cookies and the macaroons. The macaroons are a little sweet, but good. The cookies, however, are almost perfect. They're chewy, rich, ever so slightly crispy around the exterior -- almost exactly what you want in a cookie. I had a chat with the owner when I visited, she mentioned that if you go early, you get a better selection as they only bake so much. That, for me, gets high points. It's like good barbecue -- when it's gone, it's gone. They're not going to sell you anything they don't like.

Not only did they accommodate us on very short notice, but the cake they created exceeded every expectation we had from taste to design. The design was absolutely stunning—beautifully detailed, elegant, and clearly made with so much care and love. When we finally cut into it, the cake tasted just as amazing as it looked—moist, flavorful, and fresh. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about it, and it truly became one of the highlights of the shower. What surprised me even more was the price. For the level of craftsmanship and quality we received, I honestly felt like it was underpriced. You don’t often come across a business that delivers such high-quality work at such fair rates, especially on short notice. My 50th birthday cake was beautiful and so delicious. I gave the owner the colors I wanted and my toppers and she did her magic. It came out just how I imagined. The cake was moist and the frosting was the perfect amount of sweet. The price is just as perfect!

Ordered two amazing cakes from Olivia for a dual birthday celebration! Olivia was a joy to work with and created amazing cakes based off of my design inspiration. We enjoyed the cakes all weekend. The name Says it all about this great bakery. They are family owned and operated business. This is an epic bakery. I ordered the cream Cheese Strudel. I couldn't believe how large the pastry was. I picked It up Sunday morning at 9am and it was crispy, creamy and warm. Now!! I know why customers order this pastry in advance because they sell out of them everyday. I will definitely return to try the fruit version next time. The owners are extremely nice and they remember their customers names.I love this place. A very unique and cool place for everyone who wants great pastries.

Best donuts in town and the best apple fritter I have had in my life! The owners are delightful and although our family eats so healthy through the week, we love to splurge with these donuts on the weekends! Atmosphere and vibe are great!

Working with Olivia was so easy! She helped me come up with the perfect amount of cupcakes & cake for my event. She even put up with my indecisiveness. Communication via phone and email was seamless and prompt! We loved how the cake & cupcakes turned out for my husband's retirement party and had so many people ask where we got it from. My daughter requested an owl cake for her birthday. Olivia was so nice when we tried to explain what my daughter wanted. I had to cancel an order once and move it another day, and she was so graceful about it. The cake was ready at the time set, and not only did she make the most adorable snowy owl cake, but it was also delicious and moist. The frosting was so light it almost felt like we were biting into clouds, and also with the right amount of sweetness. We will definitely order more cakes in the future ! Great location, store looks nice, but the butcher department has to be the worst. Old meats on display (clearly rotting), loose meat packaging, old meats mixed in with new meats, & they refuse to cut me anything fresh when asked. A bunch of young kids reluctant to do their jobs. It’s a shame I have to go farther to another Vons for good meats because they will give me newly packaged ones or they will cut them to my desire on the spot. If you’re looking for high quality meats don’t come here. I’ve had enough of this Vons butcher department. *Update 05/09/2025 Told the butcher if I could get some new steaks because everything was 5 days old out on display, he told me the value packs were packaged today. They used the sticker to cover up rancid smelly meat! It smells disgusting! As stated before! Stay away from this Vons’ butcher department!

Good location! Can get a little bit busy on the weekends or right after 5 but the staff makes sure the lines move quick enough! Adam has always been there (i mean literally i remember seeing this guy 15 years ago lol) and he is so kind to my kids! Love coming here and probably won't shop elsewhere ever for groceries.

This store is huge and has so much to look at.. everyone is friendly there. Everything is fresh from produce to bakery. The flowers are beautiful and the employees are kind. The store is clean, and it's easy to find more than what you need. The Starbucks there is delish. And they have a walk-in fridge beer area. Which I thought was really cool

Vons pharmacy is very slow. I made an appointment for a flu shot at 11:30 and still have not been seen and it's 12. They took all the walk-ins before appointments so there's no reason to make an appointment. Also, I stood in line at the cashier only to be told that I had to check in on the other side. They should have a sign that says that! Very bad customer service.

This store is a joke. I was in line, minding my own business, when this cashier, clearly seeing a long line and me (a Latino man) in it, decided to open up a new register. Great, right? Except she immediately waved over a white guy who had just walked up, pulling him out of the main line that I and several others were in, to exclusively help him. Meanwhile, the rest of us were left to wait. It felt incredibly discriminatory and frankly, pretty insulting. I've never felt so unwelcome in a grocery store. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, somewhere I'm treated with respect, not like an afterthought to be ignored.

Von's has a wide selection of grocery goods and quality items. The location is congested. I've used the pickup order option a few times, and find it very useful. Note* orig review was interpreted as Barnes for some reason. RKM

I like this location, because it is never too busy. However, it is a bit pricy, so I typically only buy things from the weekly ad. (Or the discount tables they’ll put out every so often!) I wouldn’t shop here for certain produce, though. For example, the berries are either visibly underripe (in color) or moldy.

Great vons just a little short on meat variety sometimes

One Mother's Day, Vons sourced a standing rib-eye roast. They had it on 50% off plus an extra 20% with a member card. It was the finest beef I have ever had in my entire life. Whoever was responsible for curating this beef spared no expense for the mothers that Mother's Day. It was so good, it didn't need salt. That is difficult to imagine, but it is true.

Vons is a convenient grocery store with a wide range of products. The store is clean, and the aisles are well-stocked. I appreciate their loyalty program, which helps save money on regular purchases. The staff is courteous, and the checkout process is efficient. Vons is a reliable choice for grocery shopping.

Typical vons, but do not go to this one at night. Shady characters hang out in parking lot. This is a smaller Vons and limited inventory. Staff is great and very helpful. They do have a pharmacy, which is surprising for a smaller vons.

I only stop at this particular Vons once a month or so when I have a particular client that's around the corner. But each time I've been it's clean in and out. Employees friendly and helpful. Which if you're like me a use one or two Vons as your habitual stores you're gonna need a little help because the aisle are definitely different than the ones I go to in Ventura.

This vons isn’t the greatest in the city or county. Often doesn’t have what I’m shopping for. The parking lot also has some pretty random people coming and going and hanging out. This spot should have the basic things you’ll need but if you got the time I’d recommend going to the vons closer to buena high school or the Thompson vons in midtown Ventura. Cleaner and nicer overall. Staff could use some more training here as well. Overall needs some upper management to do a full inventory of store and employees.

Check your produce carefully before leaving the store. We ended up with slimy prepackaged salad & moldy corn on cob. The corn on the cob was packaged on a cart in front of the cash register. All but one of them were moldy. It cost $4.49 for only 4 corn on the cobs. That’s what I get for trying to cut corners. I feel sorry for anyone who grabbed one at the last minute & got home with moldy produce. Also, if you need something that’s locked up, you will get it faster if you order it off Amazon. They just ignore you at Vons.

I'm lowering the score from 4 stars to 1 star due to an employee problem - 3 male employees were blocking a fair length of the fresh produce aisle (near the salads), complaining about "the government." I don't care what their politics are outside of work - they have a right to their opinions - but as a customer I don't want to hear their misinformed, repugnant opinions. As far as the groceries go, this Vons is nearly out of basics like ham steaks and eggs. They do have a good "nutrition drink" section though.

The store layout is good, I can pretty much always find what I'm looking for. Produce is good, deli is good, meat is good. I hate that everything from dental floss, toothpaste and cotton balls to vitamins, laundry detergent and medicine is locked up. I make a separate trip to cvs for all that stuff now.

Michelle who works in grocery pick up needs to check hercattitude. If she is busy and frustrated...there is no need to cause a scene in front of customers due to her frustration. This has happened at other stores she worked for. Hence why she is on telephone road instead of telegraph or nain street for that matter. She has always been kind...but I think she has hit her frustration limit at this store.

Are we thieving cattle, or customers? Just went in and there are new automatically closing gates at entry and exit. The entire health and toiletry aisle is locked down behind glass doors so you need to call (and wait for) an associate to buy dental floss. Go someplace that respects you and your time. This ain't it. EDIT: In response to the owner, these "updates" were not made for safety and certainly don't add "convenience." Whatever the cost was could have gone into addressing issues posed by other reviewers (e.g. expanding prepared foods, improving the quality of bakery items, adequately stocking items). Instead you get aggressive "loss prevention" staff to harass customers, install mechanical barriers to enter and exit the store, and completely lock up toothpaste and shampoo. Shame on you.

As soon as I entered the doors, I knew I was going to love this place! After ordering, THIS WAS INFACT TRUE! I ordered the Xielo crêpe, which is made from Chicken, Spinach, and Mushrooms alongside a cajeta frappe. This has to be the best breakfast plate I’ve ever had! Been a customer since they first opened their doors. I can't say enough good things about the Love that you can definitely tell goes into the food and beverages created and served here. The customer service is always on point and it's rare to stop by and not have multiple customers either coming or going within the few minutes that you will be there. If anyone is looking for a quick grab and go coffee, dessert, or soup and sandwich spot, By all means do your taste buds a favor and visit Xielos!!

This review is for the pastries only. I’ve been to this place twice. The first time I bought different kinds of pastries and when I tried them they tasted old no flavor. I was very disappointed. Fast forward a few months, I thought I’d give it a second chance and bought different kinds of pastries again. And once again I got old tasting pastries. They tasted like they’ve been sitting in the case for days. I ended up going to Starbucks across the street for coffee and a pastry instead. I wanted to love this place but unfortunately I do think it’s overrated. If you’ve had quality pastries before you know these are far from it.

I love Xielo! Everything is delicious, from their savory crepes, to their RASPADOS! to their amazzzzzzzzing selection of cookies!!! I want to eat everything! Love love love it!!! And, I feel like family when I come in 🩷

Everthing started right until there was a very long hair in the strawberry chesse cake ice cream. I saw her trying to pull it out. After she pulled it out she tried to serve me the ice cream. I asked her to please don`t give me that. She laugh and said okay. I sat there for a few minutes thinking she was going to toss it. But no! I got up and asked her to please, toss it. She said she would. I said please do! she than said I don`t have to show you. I said you are correct but it`s common sense to toss it. She than tells me my manager is here. I said that`s nice. I don`t need them . It just common sense not to serve someone that ice cream. I was nice about it but she was rude & upset. I took my two girls there for a after dinner treat and after seeing the hair and she didn`t want to toss it. I just didn`t want anymore ice cream. I couldn`t her the girls name but it started with an F. Just watch them when you are being serve. I know, this was an accident but the rudeness was not necesary.

Worse experience EVER!! Not only was the staff extra rude but when we asked for the manager he did nothing and said RULES are RULES. When we got our order not only did they charge me for 2 extra ice creams but they did not get our order right and when asked for a refund and our correct order she said she didn’t have to serve me. I asked for corporates number they claimed they did not have one and ignored me! My 5 year old did not have to experience this at all! GOOD ONE!

We love this place not just for the delicious ice cream but the fact the management and staff and customers are truly honest people with a conscience. 20 minutes before closing time, my wife took our 2 young girls for some ice cream. Once my wife got on the road to head home, she realized she left her credit card wallet that has her drivers license and all her important cards at Baskin-Robbins. She called the store and the manager answered and said a customer found it and brought it to the staff. My wife arrived after closing time and the staff gave my wife her wallet back in tact. We are sooo grateful there are still great people out there. Thank you Baskin-Robbins staff and customers

ordered a black iced coffee— this is it haha. please use more grounds or spend some time making a batch and cooling it down properly without loads of ice. Watered down coffee is one of the top worst flavors in the world. Had to make espresso shots at home to make it actually taste like coffee :( Otherwise i really like this place and the pastries are good and fresh usually. Will continue going so I hope the business takes this as actual feedback and I can get a better coffee next time

Delicious pastries and the flavored plates are amazing. We got honey lavender latte. The flavors are incredible. I also got the cinnamon roll... the dough was soft, moist, filled with cinnamon, and fluffy. The frosting was creamy, properly sweet, and delicious. Service was attentive, bright, cheery, and fast. Popped into a cute little café with a clean, minimal vibe and the irresistible smell of coffee and pastries in the air. The staff was sweet and welcoming. Almost all the spots were occupied when I walked in at 11. By 11:30 it quieted down and a fair amount of spots opened up. Side note, there's outdoor seating too. I'm not much of a breakfast person, but their pastries looked so good they almost converted me. I had the butterfly matcha coffee, which is more of an iced matcha latte with butterfly pea syrup--beautiful, but light on matcha flavor. Aesthetic lovers, you'll adore it; matcha purists, maybe not so much. All in all, a lovely little spot to relax or get some work done.

Cool little place. The pain au chocolat was mid - there was very little chocolate and the pastry was dry. The drip coffee was very good and the pistachio cream puff? Phenomenal.

I enjoy Cafe Ficelle, generally. This one is gorgeous with good food and friendly service. But gosh it was loud! For my purposes, I preferred a quiet spot. But the folks meeting up for Sunday coffee chats were having a lovely time, so it's perfect for that :)

Second chance today! Disappointed as usual! Chai tea tasted like water. Says something to the girl before I ordered about it happening before. And it happened again. Sorry I gave them a chance I’m done. I did say some thing nicely again as I did in the beginning. And she said you just have to tell them you want more chai tea taste, excuse me everybody else gets it right. So sorry I’m not a usual complainer, but I spent $20 with tip.

Thankful we finally have a nice Filipino Bakery again, we were past due for fresh delicious treats. This bakeshop is loaded with mamon, cakes, pandesal, and other sweets. I don't normally do reviews but I think all the ones listed below 5 stars are completely UNFAIR! This was my first time going to a RR in YEARS. I cannot tell you how happy I am that they are open in Oxnard of all places. As soon as I walked in I noticed how organized it was. Everything was displayed phenomenal and easy to find. I walked out with 3 wrapped pastries and 1 Ube flan and all of them surpassed my expectations. The cashier was super nice and helpful. This is a bakery people! If the coffee isn't to your liking there is a Starbucks next door. This place is known for their cakes and pastries. I swear people take the time to complain instead of saying something positive. And we wonder why there aren't more Asian bakeries or grocery stores out here. To the people of RR Oxnard, thank you for opening and keep doing what you're doing. I will be a dedicated customer. Overall, very good. The "empanadas" are amazing with the combination of savory goodness of the outer-crust with the great meat mixture on the inside. I typically purchase a dozen and share utilizing a little discount while help marketing this place. The only bad experience was being served scorched coffee that no cream and sugar could salvage. So, I recommend this place for lunch, not a late breakfast. Definitely worth a try if you like empanadas.

Bought a family pack for the pancit palabok. This is actually how much it was filled up when everything was moved to the side. Not even a whole container. It was not like this when the store initially opened.

Found this place online when I was looking for a good bolillo which are hard to find. The reviews said they had good bolillos so we decided to try them out. Right away we noticed tons of people coming in and out and that's always a good sign. We tried their bolillo, their tamales (which seems to be seasonal and or limited) and cruassaint. First, I didn't get or were offered a receipt so I can say what anything cost but I recall thinking I paid way too much. The bolillo was just ok and so was the tamal, what was very very good was the cruassaint. Probably one of the best ones we've had. Our first experience was good, we came a second time and our experience was totally different. I can't say what it was but it just wasn't as good so I doubt we'll be coming back. I have uploaded some pictures as I noticed there aren't any useful ones though this is the second time doing so. The first set appears to have disappeared, I have a feeling this business had them taken down. If so, why would they do that? I'll let you decide.

The bread is good don’t get me wrong, but the service is terrible. Every time I go I’m always met with unfriendly staff. I went today and It felt like the person didn’t want to be there. Even giving me attitude when pointed at a bread that I thought was bolillo and wasn’t. I surely will not be buying from here again

Best croissants a local business can offer! So buttery and light similar to those you get from Costco's bakery but a lot cheaper! The bolillos with stuffed ham, cream cheese, and jalapeños fill you up and most of the time have a lot of filling! The pumpkin empanadas are the best I've had from a lot of different bakeries I've tried and that is no joke! They open at 5am and close at 8pm. Dont go too late as bad company loves to hang around there in the night.

I do not know about food, but this is a Bakery and their bread is good. Great hard working people...The lower star is only because some times that I go, there is a big line.. and that place is so small... But , they must be doing somehting good for so many people willing to stand in line.

Let me start by saying how organized, professional, detailed, and creative Dee Gupta is!! I had a phantom of a task for Dee to help me make my wife's 30th birthday special by asking her to make a Unicorn cake and since it's around Halloween something around that theme. Trust me when I say this- Dee made it to perfection. Unicorn cake was a red velvet cake with cream cheese filling and the setup was unbelievable. I don't have words to even describe the work she did on that cake. The second cake was my favorite just because I like the marble with raspberry filling. OMG, that cake was gone in 2 days. I think Dee is very talented and her business needs this kind of appreciation. Thank you Dee!

At the first sight of them myself and the rest of the guest were in complete "AWE!!" How do I cut into this (masterpiece) of a cake? Then to see that it was my favorite, German-Chocolate on top of one of my favorite games made it much more than just birthday cakes. As I told my friends, I think my blood type is "sugar" and they didn't disappoint Your cakes are remarkable and to hear the story of how you and Leslie put in the work together, I am truly honored to have had such a wonderful event for my 50th birthday and hope to have more including your specialty cakes. Siblings Bakery made my 10th birthday cake. It was so well decorated, not a single flaw. The cake was a marble cake, it was so tasteful! The buttercream was not too sweet. I highly recommend Siblings Bakery for your next desert. They have everything!!

My niece got married July 21, 2017 and had A Gift of Taste make the wedding cake. I have had a lot of cakes plus wedding cakes in my 56 years but this was the most outstanding cake I have ever put in my mouth. It was 2 different flavors. It didn't matter which one you had, they were so fresh and moist and flavorful. All I know is the next time I need a cake for anything, I'm getting it here. Every single person at the wedding was saying the same thing. Delicious!

They were great with helping me get my daughter's birthday cake from concept to reality. But I let them talk me into do butter cream and fondant style cake. It didn't look like my vision and it was so sweet, very sweet that the kids didn't finish the slice they were giving. I wish I had a picture to show you 😔 not happy 😕

My wedding cake last year was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, it was buttercream with white sparkles all over & the most amazing tasting cake I have ever had. I am going to order one for our anniversary every year now. (:
