Jaslyn Cakes is one of the OG bakeries in KL. I come here knowing that it’s foolproof when you are craving to eat a good slice of cake. My favourites are their salted caramel chocolate ganache (rich choc & not sweet at all), lemon drizzle butter loaf & most recently, the pistachio cake Only downside for their Bangsar outlet is the limited seating & how cramped it is as the store is only half a store. Best for grab & go Price is higher than usual but still better value compared to other cafes.

Very good cakes. Price is not cheap, but you know you are getting quality. Recently ordered the red velvet cake for a birthday. Easy online ordering. They even offered the option of laminating a small message to put on the cake. Decoration of cake is very minimalist. So I felt I had to jazz up the cake myself. Flavour and texture wise, the cake was spot on. Service: when I went to collect the cake, the staff were attentive . They asked when I will be eating the cake and even offered to cling wrap the box after finding out it will be 24 hours before the party. Cons: parking here is difficult. Hardly any parking which causes a headache.

I've visited Jaslyn’s many times whenever I’m in KL, but this time was quite a disappointment. I bought two cakes — the Lemon Drizzle and the Chocolate Salted Caramel. The lemon cake was decent, but the chocolate one was a letdown. At RM25 per slice, I expected much more. The cake was dry, the caramel was bitter, and most of all, I had hoped for a rich couverture chocolate ganache. Instead, it tasted like low-quality chocolate. I really hope they improve the quality of their bakes — I’ve always loved visiting and would be happy to return in the future 🙏🏽

The cozy cake place is a famous spot for various freshly baked cakes. I ordered the earl grey chiffon cake with iced black coffee for tea time. The cake is really soft and fluffy and not too sweet, it's the perfect after meal dessert with black coffee as well.

I still think about their peanut butter chocolate cake , so good and it can be shared with 2 people as it’s quite heavy. I would like to order this again 🥹

The cakes are delicious, carrot cake, brownies and some other unique cakes are also available. The cafe has a nice cozy vibe to it but it a little hard to find parking in this area. Great place for dessert and tea time hangouts.

This dessert shop has mouth-watering yummy cakes to offer. Had a pistachio cake slice that was quite a delightful experience. Prices are on the high side perhaps. Overall worth visiting for afternoon tea or when craving for sweet cakes!

Came across this place on social media and decided to get a few friends to pay a visit. Didn't know this place could be so busy and need to queue to get in at 1030am! Parking was also a bit hard to find. Didn't wait long to get a table upstairs. This place is like a dream for sweet tooth lovers there's so many pastries and sweets to choose from. We didn't want to stick to just sweet items so we picked a few savoury ones as well. In general would say the pastries are all of pretty good quality and the ones we picked we didnt find any fault with it. Everything was pretty enjoyable and all hit the right notes. The only regret was that the variety is really crazy you cannot order everything you like at one go so you have to make a few trips down to try all. Pretty nice place to chill, the only bad thing was probably one off where the place was so noisy there was this group of rowdy teens where we can't even hear when we were talking, and they were there for quite some time only left when we were about to finish our brunch. Interesting place with good pastries and definitely worth visiting. Probably should come early to get a parking lot near the shop and eat without having to queue. Don't know what to recommend cause everything we ordered was good so pick what your heart desires!

Having brunch here on a weekend is like floating on a calm lake at sunrise. There was a slight queue upon arrival, but we were ushered in within 5-10 mins. Staff were friendly and the service was good despite the heavy crowd. Parking was plentiful as well. We had 4 different desserts : Pain au chocolat, canelé, matcha white chocolate scone, and a red bean butter bun. All of them were delicious and well-crafted, flaky or moist where they should be, and clearly made with care. We paired our decadent pastries with a latte, hot matcha and an iced matcha. The drinks unfortunately were pretty average. The latte didn’t stand out, the hot matcha arrived more warm than hot, and both the matchas were just mediocre; lacking the creaminess and strong matcha flavour especially considering that there is a well known matcha cafe right upstairs at a similar price. Croisserie has a charming, lively vibe, though it can be a tad bit noisy with loud crowds. Overall, I’d happily return for their pastries, but next time I’d probably skip the drinks and head elsewhere for those.

Croisserie is an absolutely phenomenal pastry heaven. Sophisticated is the word i would rate this place. It is easily one of the best patisserie cafes we have visited in KL. Their display case is full of colorful, tempting treats, from sugary to savoury sandwiches. We had the chocolate cube brioche feuillete, Maritozzo and the chocolate fig orange. Each patisserie is not only beautifully presented but also bursting with flavour. Every bite feels indulgent and exceptional, I kid you not. The Maritozzo was light and packed with generous, creamy fillings that are absolutely irresistible and goes well with a hot cuppa. The visually presented chocolate cube brioche has a tender buttery dough with layered flaky texture. And the star of the show was the Chocolate Fig Orange. The interplay of praline crunch, fruity fig, and sharp orange keeps the dark chocolate luxurious but never overwhelming. From crisp to tender, sweet to bitter and rich to refreshing coming from the praline base, the velvety dark chocolate ganache and the fruity notes of orange and fig. It is truly sophisticated and indulgent with a presentation that is truly world-class. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates patisserie in KL. Definitely warrants another visit or two to explore other viennoiseries and little cakes they offer.

I'm so excited once I walked in. You'll be welcome by a whole lots of pastries & patisserie. I'm so in love with every single item. It's so hard to choose as I want everything. All looks so tempting & delicious. Just pick what u want & pay at the counter and u can start digging in. Crowd here is tremendous so it's quite noisy. Not a nice spot to hang out but definitely a good place to fulfill your sweet tooth. Their pastries are so good especially the blueberry tart & caramel macadamia tart. The matcha yuzu petit gateau is also very good. Not too sweet & flavours are well balanced. Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely visit again if I'm in KL.

came here with my sister and mother to takeaway some pastries. queue moved fast, we’re not here often so we needed time to browse to choose our pastries. while browsing, i saw a fly in the pastry box & we alerted the pastry attendant ab it. she just swatted it out and carried on with the next customer after us. when we were ready to order, the pastry attendant was quite stuck up and told us that we needed to queue to order. we explained that we came in way before and needed time to browse for our pastries before ordering and she was like tak puas with the fact that she had to serve us. we got the chocolate banana croissant, lamour & the strawberry croissant pastry. the lamour was my favourite. paying for the pastries took ages, the queueing itself was like 10 mins. my sister encountered some issues with the touch n go payments which was quite suspicious but luckily she got her refund back. the pastries are good, but the service left a really bitter taste in my mouth especially since it’s expensive. please improve it - just because your pastries are good, doesn’t mean your employees get to act so rude!

Five stars for everything honestly. All the pastries are professionally made, high in quality and the prices are reasonable too! Queue might take a few minutes if you come on a weekend or a public holiday but it is worth it the wait🥳 Really loved the matcha latte and hot chocolate too, I have never tasted hot chocolate such as this. If you're looking for coffee & pastries, do not hesitate to come here. No doubt that this can easily rank in the top 5 best patisserie in Malaysia !!!

This is my second visit. I could buy bread during the week without waiting in line. There is a waiting line on weekends. But don't worry. You can choose bread easily when you choose it. It was nice because it was not complicated by the entrance of two people. I think bread is really delicious among the bakeries I've ever eaten. A place that sells delicious bread

Been there quite some times. Nice food and delicious. Usually I go for breakfast. This is the 1st time I came around 3pm. Easy to find parking. Parking fee RM 3. If I come in the morning it is usually hard to find parking.

Stayed right next door at the Agile Residence. Closes at 530pm. We had breakfast there on Sunday and packed the pastries back on Monday. Pastries were delightful. Sambal ikan bilis was a surprise winner for me. The others were awesome as well. We had the eggs bene with chicken patty. The chicken didn't feel like a frozen mass produced product. Spouse said it was abit spicy. Not bad. Full English breakfast was alright, the 2 chicken sausages gave minus points to the dish, felt like it was an inferior product with alot of filler. Summary: Great for pastries. A must visit place and I will be back again next time.

Levain is a cosy, French-inspired bakery and café housed in a charming old bungalow on Jalan Delima, Imbi. It’s beloved for its freshly baked breads, pastries, cakes, macarons, and artisanal offerings — the aroma of baking greets you as you walk in, and there’s a warm, relaxed feel. The décor (high ceilings, comfy seating upstairs, verandah/outdoor spots) gives it a nice ambience, good for solo coffee, brunch with friends, or just a pastry run.

This place, Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie, is amazing! Just look at that croissant with scrambled eggs and the crispy hash brown – it looks absolutely delicious. And the vibe inside is so cozy and welcoming. I can totally see why it's got such a great rating; it's a perfect spot to just chill and enjoy some really good food.

Came back to this place after 5 years and the food is still amazing! The staff are super friendly. I even left my things behind by accident and they helped me find them and handed them back to me. Definitely coming back again!

Easy to miss entrance, but once you enter magic happens inside. The sandwiches may seem overpriced but they aren't. Only quality ingredients are used and you can taste the quality with every bite. No Asian influence in the food whatsoever. Probably the only place in KL where the coffee isn't overpriced and the quality is pretty good. My new favorite place in KL. Strong recommendation for coffee and sandwich lovers.

Had breakfast at Tommy Le Baker, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The sourdough bread is excellent - crusty, fresh, and clearly made with care. The coffee was smooth and well-balanced, perfect for a relaxed morning. However, the open-faced toasts, especially the cheddar cheese melt, didn’t quite impress - it looked great but tasted rather plain, and my kid didn’t enjoy it either. Service was friendly but a bit slow, likely due to the morning crowd. Still, it’s a nice spot for artisanal bread and good coffee, especially if you appreciate a cozy, rustic café atmosphere. Would return, but might try something different from the menu next time.

I ordered the same sandwich every time I’m here 😅 the rib eye steak sandwich is so so good. Today, I tried the bread pudding, it was quite tasty. I still prefer to top with vanilla sauce for the added silky smooth texture, warmth and sweetness.

This place pleasantly surprised me. I didn’t feel like I was in the middle of KL city when I stepped into the café through a charming handcrafted shop. I really love the calm, cozy atmosphere. It’s a bit warm since it’s open-air without air-conditioning, but the overall vibes made up for it. The sandwiches are absolutely delicious and generously portioned. You can even customise your own with your preferred bread. My top pick of the day is the kaya custard toas. The kaya and thick slab of butter just melt in your mouth (though it might be a bit rich for some). The tomato soup is special with herb-infused twist, different from the usual. The entrance is tucked in a small alley, so it might be easy to miss!

I thought this famous place was supposed to sell really good bread, what a let down. Bread felt stale and left out for long, although the sour dough crust is crispy, but the inside was dense and dry. Sandwiches were mostly bland and tasteless, except for the pesto. Burger bun was dense and dry, same like it was left out for long. Anyway totally not worth the price.

Nice sourdoughs in the city, few type of choice in the menu, you can try any type of it with no boom. Can skip the coffee if you looking for good coffee Open air area, not sure is hot for sunny afternoon or nt, i went on cloudy morning. Price is mid high range, 20 above Portion for me is quite big , and taste is very classic western style. No other fushion taste.

A big thank you for the incredible service! I needed a last-minute cake for a very special friend’s birthday, and even though the website mentioned next-day orders only, the team made it happen. The cake was perfect and delivered on time. Truly grateful for the extra effort!

It's a unique place for dessert. Mostly do online business. But there are a few tables and chairs for walk-in customers. It's a small space but comfortable and nicely decorated. It's a bit too sweet for me both the cakes and coffee. Butter Cake and brownies tasted normal, nothing special.

I organized a baby shower at the venue early June. The staff (Nadirah) was very helpful in helping me plan the shower. Correspondence was consistent and timely. We ordered from the party menu and we loved the food so much. The lasagne, apple sandwiches, burger sliders etc were so good- even our guests raved about them. For the dessert spread- I was pleasantly surprised at how good the pastries were- donuts, lemon meringue and blueberry tarts, salted caramel brownies, etc- the taste, texture, sweetness of the pastries were so well balanced. We also ordered a birthday cake for the mother to be- it was so good and beautifully decorated. Ordered the double berry flavour- guests kept saying the cake was good. It was a warm day and as the venue is covered by glass panels- so the venue was a bit warm and they had to bring out the big cooler machines. Something to look into for future events. Another feedback is maybe on top of the complimentary balloons when booking for an event- maybe can throw in some flower arrangement or coloured napkins. Other than that- I would highly recommend hosting your event here or ordering/having to food at Delectable.

Had a last minute plan for my sister’s birthday and found this place on TikTok! Ordering online was super easy, and they sent the pickup location via WhatsApp, which was really helpful. The staff that helped me was friendly and pickup was quick. The cakes were so yummy because they’re not too sweet, just perfect. Super happy with everything and will definitely order again! :)

I had a wonderful experience ordering a cake from them! From the start, the team was incredibly friendly and patient—they really took the time to listen to all my requests and made sure every detail was just right. I asked for a custom design with edible printing, and they absolutely nailed it! The image came out so clear and vibrant, and it looked amazing on the cake. The bread here is absolutely fantastic. It's clear they put a lot of care into it – crusty, flavorful, and definitely a highlight of the meal. If you're a bread lover, this alone might be worth the visit. However, there are a few significant drawbacks. Be prepared for a super long queue. Seating is VERY limited. I also found it to be a bit pricy for what you get, especially considering the casual atmosphere and self-service aspects. Overall, if you're willing to brave the wait and the cost, the bread is genuinely excellent. But if you're looking for a quick, affordable, or spacious dining experience, you might want to consider other options.

A simple cool interior for the small dining area beside the service counter. Limited dining for about 10pax, including outdoor. It's a place where you will feel guilty for dining too long. Interesting baking kitchen is visible from the dining. Clean and organised. The pastries were delicious. Scone with the right texture...slight crumbly inside. The cinnamon roll was perfect for me. Not too sweet. Ham & cheese croissant was flaky and super crispy but ingredients were tiny. Beverages were strong and good.

First time visited this shop and the sourdough is excellent better than a shop in Damansara Jaya. Shop is clean and floor staff is very friendly. They have variety of sourdoughs but my personal preference is the country sourdough. One thing I wish they will improve is the taste latte. It's a bit blend and diluted. Other than that, this will be my weekly place to buy my sourdough bread.

Good choices of sourdough & pastries. Price & location of the bakery is great. Long queue at the order counter during weekend. However what really irked me & stopped me from buying their cakes, pastries & croissants are the attention & level of hygiene practise within the bakery shop. Saw a fly wandering around in their pastries counter. We were trying to tell them about this. But the staff are all so busy they just ignored us for some time until our turn with the counter girl. But by then, we have already lost our appetite for the cakes, scones & pastries. We were trying to tell them to get rid of the fly but no one bother to listen. Regret that we won't be back for the breads unless the management pay more attention to the hygiene within the shop

The bread and pastries here are absolutely delightful — made fresh using high-quality ingredients. The bread and butter toast stands out with its crispy texture and deliciously simple, rich butter. I also enjoyed the red bean twist — light, crispy, and filled with a lovely red bean aroma. The Nutella bread pudding, however, was a little too sweet for my liking. Perhaps it would taste better if the milk were served separately, as the Nutella flavour wasn’t very distinct. The bakehouse itself is with limited seating — just one large table and a bar counter indoors. It can feel a bit crowded, especially with people queuing up. Outdoor seating is available but also limited. Do note there’s a 1-hour dining limit on weekends. Takeaway is highly recommended, and seems to be the popular choice among customers.

Visited the bakery for breakfast on Saturday. Fortunate to find parking outfront. Rather limited seating so took the opportunity for an al-fresco moment with the kids. Small delectable selection of toasts and bakes. Tried a jalapeno & cheese twist, pesto chicken tartine and a herb sausage bun. All marvellous! Good soft bread packed with proteins and veg.

The truffle shio pan is not the typical crusty-on-the-outside bread, they use less butter so it’s less oily when you eat it. The salt and truffle pair beautifully, giving a rich yet balanced flavor. The focaccia onion is soft and airy with a light chew, topped with sweet, caramelized onions that add a gentle sweetness and aroma to every bite. Cozy place but the inside is slightly cramped when crowded

If you are a bread and pastry lover and want some good German food here in the Klang valley this bakery cum coffee shop serves a variety of daily fresh baked goods and offers some of the classical German dishes like the meatloaf, bratwurst as well as sandwiches. We had their beef rendang ciabatta sandwich - the crust was slightly crunchy, while the inside was airy and chewy. The filling was tasty too 👍🏼 loved it! The sunny meatloaf consisted of a leberkäse which is a finely ground, baked meatloaf from southern Germany served together with a sunny side up egg and fresh bread + a side of coleslaw and sauces. Loved the warm milk served with chocolate bits aka make-your-own hot chocolate- yum! it really warms the soul ❤️ Heard that their apple strudel is good too… Overall a cosy place to have a a good meal and just chill. The staff were friendly and polite which adds to a good experience that we had there It can be abit noisy indoors but fret not they hv some tables right outside so you can opt to sit at their outdoor dining area too. Come here for some good bread and pastries ☺️☺️☺️ you won’t be disappointed

I went to this restaurant last month, the food was nice here. The bread is very ‘packed’ like no air inside of it and the bread is made fresh daily. There are also whole bread to be bought at the spot. The orange juice is a bit sour but I like it. Overall, the food tastes normal for an Asian like me. The portion of the food is quite large for an Asian, recommend to share and the price is reasonable.

This is a German bakery and serves many german style breads, which are dense and hits the spot. I have been visiting this for some time for German style breads. The sunny meatloaf is very good. Try the apple strudel and take away some bread for your weekly meals. They also sell bread in the Publika shop inside Big Grocer.

We got the big breakfast option which was SERIOUSLY huge. Between the 2 of us, we still couldnt finish the assortment. It came with many different samples of the fresh bread that they had, as well as different cuts of salamis, hams and their signature meatloaf. I would not recommend adding on the german sausage (they did inform us), that it was just pan fried. Tbh, it wasnt worth it, maybe will try it in a different method next time. They actually cook a lot of these things behind the counter (like the sausage) rather than the kitchen, leaving your clothes quite smelly. Would highly recommend sitting outside if this bothers you. Coffee was mediocre, but the hot chocolate was amazing, and I would definitely recommend getting that.

I visited this shop in TTDI after hearing that they have German bread! I ordered a café latte and an apple strudel, and I also bought some cookies to take away. I had a lovely time relaxing here, and the staff were very kind and friendly. Thank you😊🙏

best German breakfast... they serve all food simple and not fancy, staff is super friendly and even the shop is crowded, its still a comfortable place to dine in. Warm place to having breakfast and always a happy morning.

I did make my reservation for Lisette’s as I’ve read reviews on how packed this place can be. When I was there for my breakfast, it was not packed but suggest to make reservations to avoid disappointment. Taste wise, it’s really good and the plating makes the food look yummier. Portion wise, I do find it a bit small especially the big breakfast. I was expecting the portion to be bigger but this is just alright. Price wise, it is on the higher side but it is as expected for a cafe in Bangsar. Parking in this area can be difficult to get.

This place was highly recommended by a local and i was not disappointed! I love the vibes of the place how its got the elements and cosiness of a home, the food was so good and the drinks was even harder to choose! The biggest surprise was how many gluten free options there was!! This was the biggest highlight for me, as I had struggled to find many gluten free options in kl. I highly recommend this place and I wish I didn't live so far away!!

Oh man, Lisette's. What can I say? It's one of those places that just feels good to be in. The minute you step in, you forget you're in the middle of busy Bangsar. It's like a little green oasis. The whole place is just so pretty, you can't help but take a few photos. It's a great way to try a bit of everything, from their amazing salads to the hot dishes. And the desserts! You can't leave without trying at least one of their cakes or pastries. They're all so beautiful and taste as good as they look. While the food and ambiance get rave reviews, be prepared for a crowd, especially during peak hours and weekends. Parking can also be a bit of a challenge in the area, so it's a good idea to arrive early or consider using a ride-hailing service.

Went here on a busy Sunday. The host was super nice and fast to assign us to our seat. Ordered pastry, pasta and coffee . The coffee and pastry were delicious. Pasta was a downright disappointment. Pesto was so so and smoked duck fried pasta was too dry.

It's hidden at the obvious place in Bangsar. Had a nice slice of cake and cool americano, chatting with a dear friend and the evening was switfly gone. This was my second time there. Will definitely visiting in the near future with the kids for some pastries. The only downpoint is, as usual, parking space. Unless you are willing to pay for valet, apparently a space newly opened for the restaurant beside it.

I’ve already repeated this twice.. Highly recommend for French Toast lover .. 🌮 Homemade Tacos - 3/5 Nice presentation with a decent mix of flavors..The tortilla is soft and warm and the filling was fresh.. A bit on the lighter side .. good if you’re not super hungry.. 🍛 Nasi Kerabu Perchik with Chicken - 3/5 A vibrant and flavorful dish.. The blue rice is aromatic and the chicken is well-marinated with a mild char .. it’s good if you’re craving a malay dish.. 🫐 Berry Waffles - 3/5 Crispy outside, soft inside .. topped with fresh berries and whipped cream.. It’s sweet but not overwhelming.. Great for sharing or pairing with coffee.. 🍰 Coffee Burnt Cheesecake with Salted Mascarpone - 3/5 Looks stunning and the mascarpone is a nice twist but the coffee flavor was a bit too intense for me. Worth trying if you're a coffee lover! 🍓 Strawberry Sandwiches - 3/5 Visually cute but the bun was a little dry.. This old-timer appears to have changed hands and although the interiors and furnishings are the same, the vibes have similarly changed (or is it just us?) We arrived at 1pm on a Saturday and found the place virtually empty. Quite strange. The pastry and baked goods options were somewhat limited too, not like before. We ordered three different sandwiches, three different drinks and two different desserts. Quite palatable, even tasty and well put together but seemed to lack verve. The coffees on the other hand weren’t the best and were average at most. With so many new and exciting cafes emerging into the market, TBS seems to have lost its allure. Maybe it’s time for a rebranding and a menu update.

Live the pasties and bread here. Coffee (Americano) is superb! It’s a self service cafe with smiling and helpful staff. Ambience is nice - moody and cool. Solid wooden chairs table tops and high chairs give it a rustic feel.

Excellent scones and pastries. The scones are really good and tasty. You can eat them on their own without cream and jam. Remember to get the staff to heat up the scones and pastries, they just taste better and you get better texture with some heat. Coffee is strong and flavourful too.

One of my fav coffee & pastery restaurant. I usually come here to replenish my sourdough bread. - Love their sourdough bread. --- This is an awesome high end, upmarket "kedai roti", aka bread shop. The bread and pastries are fresh and tasty, it prepared by their chef in the shop.The restaurant is small and cozy. They have good coffee and simple menu for quick meal such as sandwiches etc. A good place to hangout in between meetings and quite discussion. Service is fast and friendly. The place is clean including the toilets.

I was here for Sunday breakfast. The aroma in the bakery is spectacular. I got myself a lemon tart and a croissant. The pastry of the tart was so flaky, and the sour-sweet ratio was just right. The salted caramel cruffin is fantastic!! For bread and pastry lovers, you won’t be disappointed.

Tried their roast beef ciabatta. Ciabatta is out of stock, so they change to plain toast for me. Price is high (RM18.80) with the quality provided. Taste is good anyway. Lemon cruffin has lemon and custard filling, but I personally prefer all lemon filling, because custard filling is too sweet for my liking. Their basil cheese wheel for me is a no-no, because can barely taste the basil & cheese. I like the sourness of their lemon tart, but not the tart shell itself, which is too flaky. Staff said sourdough special is more sour (compared to normal sourdough) but for me it's not at all. Disappointed.

Come here because of the good reviews of the bakeries.Surprisingly only a few people in lunch time.There is nothing around that area. The shop is small but good to stop by and grab some pastries and drinks. Mocha is good creamy and aromatic. Scones are small but texture is what I like more on crispy side.The strawberry jam I like which on sour side more than sweetness. Coffin is a combination of muffin and crossaint.But it tastes like crossaint though.The bananascoth Danish is good.

Absolutely disastrous rainbow cake that I ordered on 24 Dec 2024 for my little girl’s birthday. The cake was dry through and through, the buttercream left an oily aftertaste on the tongue and worse of all, everything was way too sweet. For the first time, no one wanted more cake. Very disappointing. Update: Little Collins reached out and the gesture itself is much appreciated. It is this level of responsibility that perhaps separates them from the others. Thank you for owning up. Update #2: Maybe the rainbow cake is just not their signature item. Got the replacement cake today (25 Jan 2025) but as can be seen from the second photo, every layer had a burnt edge, contributing to an overall burnt aftertaste.

Fantastic little breakfast place . We had holy shishito, yoghurt panna cotta and French toast . The eggs were creamy and done to perfection over crunchy bread . The French toast was crunchy but not too sweet. Would definitely go back !

3 soap roses look so pathetic. Paper discolored and looks old! No smell even though it says soap. Disappointed to give it to someone for their bday! Not worth the RM42! Littles tarts do not look like what was on the Grab app. Suppose to be 3 meringues! Does not look presentable to be given as a gift! Terrible. Totally annoyed & disappointed!

Experienced of ordering Americano and Flat Latte. It was quite nice and the price is reasonable. The coffee been brew by them so the taste is quite good. They also have oat milk. The shop have quite number of interesting pastries and cakes as well with reasonable price.

Went for a place other than the hustle and bustle of KL which led me here to the serene environment of Hartamas. Fav there was the choc caramel choux, Yuzu lime lemon choux and Paris Brest. Other than that was just okay but nonetheless a good experience.

A few days ago I went to Orito's (Hartamas) for breakfast. Small but nice local place. The pastry selection was a bit restricted, so we had 2 doughnuts. They were good, soft and not at all greasy. Better custard than pistachio. I would like to try the TTDI store hoping to find a wider selection of pastries.

A standout item, this choux-based pastry is filled with rich pistachio cream and topped with crushed nuts. It’s described as decadent, nutty, and beautifully layere👍

I always drop by for takeaways. Usually just croissants for my son and the apple turnovers. But the last visit i tried their yuzu puff. It was really amazing. The cream was so good. Even my husband said it’s the best we had in kl. Will definitely try the paris brest when im in the area.

Absolutely phenomenal. We had the Paris Brest, Very Berry Vanilla, two donuts for our kids, and a canelé — every bite was exceptional. Easily one of the best patisserie cafes we have visited. The quality of the ingredients truly stands out, from the delicate chantilly cream to the perfect textures. We wish Orito would open a branch in Dubai. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates world-class patisserie in Kuala Lumpur!

Loved my visit to Huckleberry at Bangsar Shopping Centre! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for casual meals or catch-ups. Their menu offers a tasty variety, with fresh pastries, sandwiches, and coffee that hits the spot. Staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience relaxed and enjoyable. The place is nicely decorated, warm, and comfortable. Great spot for brunch or coffee breaks—I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu. Highly recommended!

Poor food, especially the pesto pasta. I requested for softer noodles cooked longer, but that wasn’t adhered to. The pesto dish was tasteless, had to add loads of salt and pepper on my own. And it didn’t help much. The greens in the dish were too crunchy and not cooked to bring out its sweetness. Tiramisu was authentic and perfect for sharing. The clam pasta had more flavour to it than the pesto. Great ambience. Felt the waiters were very kind to us. Food is so tasteless though. Come on!

Not my first time here, but this was the rudest encounter with the staffs here. Whole place during 11:30am only ran by 3 staffs, hence kept me waiting despite another staff saw me waving hands. 1 busy at outdoor area, 1 ushering new customer, another just walk around pretending busy. Good wise, not a good idea to put sandwich on the paper, as you can see, the sauce made the paper soggy, and I think I might have eaten some. Just put on plate without paper please, and people failed to understand that chopping board lookalike is not hygienic to put food on. Visual appealing but not hygienic and not clean.

Around 4PM on weekday it’s less crowded. Chicken tenders costing was nice and crunchy but it dry and not moist. Lamb burger was ok, need more salt and flavor. Came here for the Southern Banana and Peach crumble which was much better many years back. basically less fruits and too much crumble. But the awesome Blackout cake is still the best chocolate cake in KL

Food was delicious. The place is short-staffed. No staff available at the entrance to welcome us and find us a seat. Had to catch their attention to ask for menu, to order, to ask for more water and to ask for bill. Update on 13/6/2025: Beef lasagna and tiramisu didn't meet expectation. Could be better. Chocolate orange bread pudding was nice.

Everything here is good.. I mean the food. For service is just okay only because the restaurant were divided into three area.. Outside, the front dining area and the other room.. I think they need to put at least one waitress in every dining area, because we have to wait almost 20 minutes to order our food because the waitress not available.

I stayed at the four points wanted to find somewhere for breakfast and came across this which is just in the same building. So glad to have passed by on a Tuesday morning the promotion for the day was buy 2 get 1 free so I considered myself lucky to be there at the right time. There were no customers when I visited so I had the whole place literally all by myself. Had a look at the display and everything looked so interesting that made me want to try everything. Decided to stick to 3 so I asked the staff for some recommendations. They told me the almond croissant was the signature so I ordered, and I would usually order something sour whenever I see one and I got the lemon meringue tart. Finally asked for a savoury recommendation and was asked to try the mushroom gouda and egg. Also ordered a mint chocolate drink to go along with the pastries. First had the mint chocolate, tasted not bad but would have loved more mint in it. The chocolate should be pretty dark as could taste a tinge of bitterness but it was good. Then I started with the pastries first having the savoury one. The mushroom and egg is a good combination which I liked, it tastes decent but the more I ate the more it felt like a quiche to me. The lemon meringue tart was good, the best among the 3. I loved the sourness and was a slight kick for a wake me up and the loved the freshness of it. Meringue was good and not overly sweet. I had high expectations for the almond croissant but turned out to be disappointing. Couldn't really taste much of the almond except for those sprinkled at the top. It was pretty generous. However the cream inside was more of like custard so kinda got a wrong name for it, just calling it an almond croissant is like giving false hopes. Not a bad place with pastries, would like to visit again to try some others. Price wise would not be reasonable if not for the free item. Also the tables needed a bit of more cleaning as it was quite sticky for the one I was at. 2 outdoor tables available as well if you like to sit outside.

The blueberry 🫐 tart could be one of the best blueberry tart in town. It has a deep rich taste, blueberry is fresh and bigger than the average blueberry you can find in KL. Situated at the end of the road, this cafe is located at the ground floor of Four Points Hotel in Petaling Street. Spacious cafe, high ceilings. Some chairs and coffee tables are uniquely custom made. Arty to look at, wished it could be more functional. Hot Cinnamon latte is good, aromatically tasty, but it’s on the sweet side which is not my preference. Hot americano is good, it has the real coffee taste. Our only qualm is that the service is not entirely efficient. After ordering and payment is made, you will head to your table to wait for drinks and food to be served. Because there weren’t any tag or number was given, the staff tend to send the order wrongly to us (two times). Drinking water is available (in bottles with plastic cups) on complimentary - you can just help yourself.

Place was a bit too minimalistic to dine in for my liking. Croissant was okay, blueberry tart was nice, but the honey toast and kouign aman were a bit sweeter than what we were expecting. And yeah the chairs are uncomfortable and the table is oddly sticky ...

Minimalist design, not made for comfort or longer time chilling out. Bakes were good looking and tasty but the chicken croissant was a bit too crispy upon warming up. Coffee was decent. Prices are a little steep and don’t give a lot of value for money. My order was taken wrongly and cashier tried to claim otherwise, fortunately another crew offered to change at no extra charge. The fourth star is for that crew member.

A quiet cafe at the back of the Sheraton hotel. The coffee was alright, not spectacular. The pastry we ordered (Broccoli egg something) was flaky and eggy. The menu is simple - a brunch menu, pastries on display and coffee. Staff was friendly and nice. The toilet is the one in the hotel, but there’s only one cubicle so be prepared for a wait. It’s a nice place to escape the heat, but given the large selection of cafe and food places around it - it’s alright. They have a large selection of pastries, so if you’re a bread head, this might be a good place for you.

Had brunch here, the place has a simple design which is pleasing but the basic wooden furniture is not comfortable to sit on. We had two sandwiches, the bread was delicious but the croissant was very crumbly due being baked. I think I lost half the sandwich to crumbs! The drinks were good, the orange coffee and ice tea had plenty of flavour. The prices are quite high but we had a pleasant experience.

The bakery serves a variety of savoury and sweet pastries. All the 4 pastries we tried were really good. However, I would recommend to takeaway your pastries rather than having it there. The location is strategic. It is attached to the Four Points KL and very near to the famous petaling street. Besides, the bakery is super cold and the walls are all painted in a very dull colour. You don’t get that bright bakery feels. They have very few tables to dine in. On top of that, the tables are super low. Even for a short person, you would need to slouch and eat. Most of the pastries are not bite sized hence it needs to be cut and it’s difficult to eat with the height of the table and chairs. They also have very few tables to begin with. The staffs were very friendly and attentive despite the crowd. However, service was pretty slow. Go early if you’re looking to dine in !

I've been here a few times, mostly because my mom is obsessed with the pastries and honestly, I get it. The whole vibe makes you feel like you’re having brunch right in the heart of Paris, haha. The croissants are perfectly flaky and buttery, and the coffee? Absolutely top-tier. Bonus: it's pet-friendly! So if you’ve got a furry friend, definitely consider bringing the whole family along. :)

Many friends seem to like and vouch by Yeast. Finally tried their Croissants, as well as Pain au Raisin. Good buttery taste but just not enough texture. Too doughy and not enough flakiness. RM 7.50 for the plain butter croissant, about RM 2 more for the raisin one. In the heart of Bangsars Jalan Telawi - OK if you dont mind the various scents al fresco, and theres also quite a bit of kitchen smells when sat inside Yeast. Overall I simply prefer Croisserie as well as Contour for the croissants.

Came by for lunch, been quite some time. I recall coming fairly often years ago. Service has improved alot! The wait staff are very friendly and serve with a smile. Went for something different, usually go for their croque madame, decided to get the panini this time round. The panini was ok, still can remember the croque madame, would come back to see if its as good as i remembered. Pistachio tart was very nice!

This restaurant is located in the most happening area of Bangsar, surrounded by lively restaurants and bars. We had a good time there. The crab cakes were a little small in portion but tasted really good. Main course was delicious and hearty as well. Walked in on a Saturday evening and only managed to get bar seats so I'd suggest anyone visiting on weekends to book in advance.

Despite being a long standing cafe in the heart of bangsar, felt that flavors didn’t match the price. Croissant came very cold with no crunchy exterior and almond filling was bare. Had the eggs and stew but the overall stew lacked any flavor from bases like tomato or onions, just tasted like meat. even then, the meat within was quite dry too. Other dishes missed the mark as well. Service was alright.

I love Wondermilk and am amazed that it is still going strong after all these decades, feels like an old friend! RM5 per cupcake but very small, only 2 bites but it's ok. Are the rainbow ones all like this 😂 Not my favourites: 1) Salted Caramel ( the cake was heavy and so sweet, choked on it). 2) Strawberry was the most beautiful and Soo Soo cute, but overwhelmingly artificial strawberry 🍓 if you love strawberry milk, you may like. 3) Oh my choc. Not a good rich choc flavour, Choco ganache icing 4) Mermaid Sparkle ( simple choc cake buttercream blue purple silver balls icing) 5) Foxy Red Velvet ( salty thin cream cheese top over red velvet) 6) Gula Hangus - cupcake of the month- thick dollop cream drizzled with caramel atop steamed Gula Hangus cake. One of the best of hot chocolate I have ever had. The coffee is quite good too. The food is so-so though. Had the beef sandwich, the beef was too chewy and cooked too much. Friend had the set, the scrambled egg was quite bland. The interior and ambience inside the place is quite nice and well done, though the place is a bit small and can only accomodate small number of people. I personally feel you can go here for the drinks, not the food.

The carrot cake is so dry , named moist but dry. The tiramisu is not classic too, no coffee taste at all. Not worthy for the price.

Delicious nasi lemak with chicken rendang and a refreshing Iced Peach Tea. Relaxing and really generous portions there at Tedboy. Lovely service too.

Tried out the awfully chocolate, lemon meringue tart, pandan layer cake and mini brownie with latte coffee. They are all very delicious, unlike other cake shops producing very sweet 🎂, here are just nice. With the slow music, we find ourselves very enjoying the teatime.

Rm29.70 for this mouse tart, the apricot and pistachios flavour blends quite well together. However, the tart is fairly small, so it’s light enough for 1 person to eat. (I shared this with someone else) Ambience is also very calm and spacious.

Ordered one ice cream and one mousse and they tasted delicious! Loved the combination of flavours and how cute they are. We also ordered three scoops of ice cream - not too sweet and tasted really good. The service was great as well. Overall, would come again.

A charming and cosy café away from busy street that has some unique seating (even outdoor spots if you like fresh air). The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. We enjoyed their cakes, pastries, and coffee, which were delightful while we chill and chat. The ice cream, while pleasant, was fairly standard. Uniquely, they open till 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

I first had a taste of Xiao By Crustz at a UOB fair months ago in Mid Valley. I couldn't stop thinking about the pastry I had so I made my friends come with me to SS2 to visit the outlet. All of us were blown away at how good the pastries and cakes were. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well and I'm so grateful. Reviews: - Drinks were great. Especially loved the specialty matcha drinks (strawberry and yuzu) - Really impressed by their toasties. They were able to balance the flavours of kimchi, tuna, sourdough, and cheese without being overpowering at all. Same with their chicken cheese and jam. - Pastries were as great as I remembered - Cakes were really good too! Loved the matcha ice cream cake (the camper van) and the peach mousse cake! - Environment was gorgeous as well. Thank you for the good food and good time

Fantastic food at Alexis bistro, the bistro is welcoming with a cosy and clean atmosphere. Very friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. The food served was delicious and cooked very well. Meat served here is delectable I loved the char grill taste to it. Only suggestion is please start offering roasted vegetables as a side dish. Thank you and highly recommended

We went there 3 weeks ago for a quick simple birthday celebration. The cakes were amazing!! Especially the ‘Black and white’ cake was really delicious, if you’re a chocolate lover , it’s highly recommended. The carrot cake was nice as well.

Very enticing cakes and pastries on display and I got to try them after I saw them. The cashier was very friendly and when we asked what’s the best-selling cakes, she recommended the peach strudel and tiramisu. Of course, we needed to order coffee to go with the sweets. The coffee was good and the cakes were awesome. Cream used was fresh and not heavy. The pastries used for the peach strudel had a good butter taste and extremely crispy. Great place for desserts or afternoon tea.

My first time trying out any of Kenny Hills pastries. Finally got to taste their famous peach strudel. We went here for dessert. We already ate our lunch. There were tons of choices. Tarts, cheesecakes, cakes and of course strudels. I of course ordered their peach strudel. Also bought one to bring home. We also tried the salted caramel apple cheesecake. We wanted to try out others but we were incredibly full. Both were scrumptious and delicious. Taste was spot on. I'm now a fan 🥰

Have bought a few things before, some hit and miss but today's RM17 key lime pie was delicious. Tart enough. I've had some key lime pies in the past with a solid base but this biscuit base eroded at the touch of a knife. No complaints, it was finished in less than 2 minutes and wishing there was more. Prefer this to the lemon meringue pie.

Beautifully rich cakes and such wonderful coffee. I feel so guilty after having the cake but worth the calories. I like them all but my favourites are macadamia cheesecake, tiramisu, Roche cake and the chocolate tart. Yummylicious!

Peach strudel is a must! I think prob the best strudel I’ve had! Super crispy, flaky, buttery with nice cream filling!! Do try their almond croissant and egg tart too! Thou the crust of egg tart was quite soft, I can still taste the buttery crust and creamy milky filling! Scone and lemon pistachio loaf were pretty normal~~

The tiramisu cake is so good. Burnt almonds with caramel on top makes it go to another level. I'm in the heaven on each bite. Strawberry tart is also good. Fresh and we bring home. Each cake is individually packed. We dine in at the table provided in the BSC Fine Dine.

I stumbled upon this place when randomly searching for French Bakery on Google Maps. While visiting this place first time and I started to like the vibes here. Don't be fool by the price of the menu. But the food is totally amazing 😍 Their Smoked Duck Ravioli and Corque Madame hits the spot. Plus, the pastries and tart is superb. I personally like the service provided by Shohan & Sadu. They greet us with a great smile and attended all our needs during the meal. Kudos to them both and hopefully they are well paid for great service provided. Highly recommend my friends and family to give this place a try out. 👍🏻

amazing amazing stuff. I can’t wait to come back. I had the signature grilled cheese with roasted tomato soup for RM43 (soup is an optional add on of 15) and the iced salted caramel macchiato (RM17) . Both food and drink were fantastic. And from the looks of other tables, everyone seemed to be enjoying their food a lot as well. Staff is friendly, polite and helpful, always smiling. They were confident in all their food recommendations as well, which shows how good the food can speak for itself. 10 stars!

The food here is pretty good and made with quality ingredients. Prices are on the higher side, but you can taste the effort and care that goes into the dishes. Flavours are great, though sometimes a little salty for my liking. The service was excellent, Sojib attended to us and was really friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Overall, a nice spot with tasty food that’s worth visiting.

My cravings for pastry led me to The Bread Bar after searching for cafes in the vicinity on Google maps and I left satisfied. The pastries were perfectly crispy, flaky, and buttery. The creme brûlée danish was creamy and the sweetness was just right, while the pistachio kouign amann was fragrant and had bits of pistachio in the cream which enhanced the texture. I also enjoyed their specialty Tiramisu latte, the first sip brings in the tiramisu cream and the fragrance of coffee comes through after. I like that it still tastes good after sitting for a while as the dilution can be balanced off by mixing in the cream. I arrived at close to 1pm and there was a short queue, which moved quite fast. The staff are polite and friendly, and the atmosphere within the cafe is relaxing as the seats are really comfy. I think it’s perfect for some me-time or just to chill with friends.

Food: I never care for a bowl of tomato soup, I mean, it’s just Tomato soup right? For the sake of “on diet” I casually ordered their tomato soup and Holy Mother Terese! I never hyped up a tomato soup this hard!! It was tangy, creamy, hearty, herby and just so fulfilling! Try it! I plan to ask the chef how is the tomato soup is made but Im scared lol Service: The waiters are super nice, helpful, polite, very gentle. Atmosphere: The ambience is chill and bougie! Great spot for coffee. Their espresso on the rocks is awesome, smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced. The pastries look amazing. The crusted sea bass is delicious, cooked perfectly with rich flavour and texture. Nice ambience with friendly service and definitely worth a visit for a good coffee break or meal

Great brunch spot! The coffee was so good I had two oat lattes. We tried the sourdough quiche slice, smashed avocado with poached egg, and assorted sourdough with butter — all delicious. Our son wasn’t sure about the chocolate caramel cake at first, but it was gone the moment we got home.

pimp your breakfast: didn't feel worth the price. you can get better value from the usual big breakfast sets elsewhere. that said, the avocado portion was generous. iced latte: a bit too mild for my taste. payment experience: i wanted to pay with cash, but was told there was no change available. it would be helpful if the cafe could prepare sufficient float in advance, as most places usually have this sorted. update: appreciate the response, though i sensed a defensive tone rather than genuine openness to feedback. the breakfast set is customisable, but not particularly impressive. i got four items for rm24 (before tax) and even with a top-up of rm10, it still wouldn’t feel like a full big breakfast. i visited during a quiet morning. so the “digging up coins” remark felt unnecessarily sarcastic. while i understand the shift to cashless, cash is still legal tender. i hope future customer concerns are handled with the same energy and attention given to online reviews as transparency and constructive feedback help both parties improve. wishing the team the best.

The spicy tuna Benedict paired with the fries 🍟 so yummy. The base is a croissant 🥐, big fan! Good coffee and pastries available too. Good brunch place. Staff is also nice and good service. Def will come again

The cafe was very comfortable, aesthetically decorated. Clean toilets. No crowd during weekdays other than lunch hour so nice quiet place to do work. Plenty of power plugpoint to charge laptops. But, the food was underwhelming. No rich flavour of the dark chocolate donut. Hot matcha latte taste more like milk than matcha. Take away cappucino also below average. Overpriced for mediocre quality.

Clean n cozy cafe. Toilet also clean. I tried pain au and choux both were excellent. Pastry was very flakey but just the chocolate very little almost codnt taste it at all - felt like i only eat plain pastry instead.. 🥲 the choux filling was mouthfull hence the price rm18± (but i still find it kinda overpriced tho) if they want to sell at this price they better make it bigger size than a standard one. Coffee was okey. Nothing special. But the staff couldve been more hygienic pls. No nose touching barehands then u touch customers plate.....

After lunch, we decided to have our dessert here. Variety of selection of cakes. Very cosy, small sitting but enough for coffee and cakes. Great service with smiles. Warm and welcoming.

Ordered both their signature cakes - Victoria Sponge (RM24) and Pistachio (RM25). They were delicious but so pricey! Pistachio was nutty, buttery with a slight sweetness. Each spoon has a nice bite with the chopped pistachio in the buttercream. If you prefer a sweeter and fruity cake, go for the Victoria sponge, it was sweet, rich buttery, and a bit sour from the raspberry jam. Tasted like homemade jam with some crunch from raspberry seeds. Fantastic with the light whipped cream. Limited indoor seatings.

Atmosphere is nice. Good place to hang out with friends. Cakes look so so yummy but we could only have one piece to share, so we chose the best seller which was the Victorian sponge cake. I love it. Soft, light and not too sweet. Most cakes cost RM20 per slice.

I'm glad I made a trip down to Jaslyn Cakes for their Banana Yoghurt Love. Their Mount Kiara Outlet has the best and warmest hospitality, special appreciation and mention to the head barista, excellent service, good coffee and the warmest hospitality. He and the other FOH guy (sorry I didn't get their names) were there when I needed a little assistance to pack the 4 whole banana loaves into my carry on.

The place is so hot and inside the aircond area got only 2 tables.. We tried the best seller pistachio cake and is recommended by the staff, but the cake is not nice at all la..the texture is rough and after few bites i really dont feel like want to finish it dy... The tiramisu latte is nicer but the portion is too small yet they charge Rm18 for this..

Ordered the pavlova. IMHO, it’s the best pavlova in town. A perfect balance of sweet, sour (strawberries) and creaminess.

We were walking past after brunch and decided to check this out. The spread of cakes looked good from what and amazing from up close!!! We couldn't help being interested and the staff were so friendly when we asked them about the cakes. Their specialty is the Victoria Sponge so we shared a slice (it was just after lunch; to full!) as well as a long black coffee. The cakes lived up to it's promise. The sponge is good and well baked, the fruit later is good but I wish there was more. The cream is light and the layers are thick. See them pictures! The coffee is Brazilian Pinha (see picture of the bag) with lots of chocolate notes. Perfect as a black coffee. We'll definitely come back to try the other cakes!

We recently ordered 2 cakes from Buttercake Factory and had mixed feelings. On the positive side, the cakes were stunning designed. The kids absolutely loved them. But on the flip side, the cakes were hard and lack of flavor, which was a huge disappointment for such beautifully decorated cakes. Nevertheless, butter cake factory deliver some of the best cakes design for kids and we would likely ordered from them again for the creative presentations.

22.05.2024 - about 6pm ish, caked arrived but in paper bag, upon checking it, found out that the cake was leaning on the box cover. - complained to the admin on the very time and request for full refund but no respond 23.05.2024 - admin only responded at 10.42am, insist of cake was in good condition when runner delivered it, trying to push the blame that we do not keep in the fridge and that was the reason the cake melt. 24.05.2024 - only offered compensation by offering complimentary cupcakes which need to pick up from the shop. - only on day 2, they offer refund at 30% if we send back the cake, how unreasonable. Instead of taking full responsibility checking with the runner, I was the one that being blamed for the leaning cake. Despite that they have nice cake decoration but they have poor quality of service & professionalism.

This is the first and the last I ordered the cake from this bakery, worst cake that I have ever ordered in my life. I ordered a two tier birthday cake for my son’s celebration, butter cake and chocolate cake. When cutting the cake, it was so strong and dry very difficult to cut. Most of the cake inside was burnt. Seriously! They just delivered the burn cake to customer. Totally destroyed the day and very embarrassing for my guests to eat the cake, mostly for the kids. The price they charge is not cheap, yet the quality is totally below the standard. Really very upset & disappointed. They have offer to redeem a cake 0.75kg for the mistake. But I won’t redeem it because I really can’t understand how can an experienced cake maker delivered a Burn and Dry cake for customer? That’s unacceptable.

My daughter requested for a Sanrio cake, searched online and found Buttercake Factory. Placed my order for self pick up. Pick up was smooth although i was late but they were okay with it. Cake was cute. My daughter was very happy with the cake. Decor of the cake was perfect, taste-wise acceptable. Will definitely order again.

Quite possibly the worst cake experience we have ever had. We had ordered a birthday cake in advance for my sister, and when it arrived on the day, the cake was messed up and smudged from the delivery. In addition, the cake itself was extremely dry, the frosting was awful tasting, and it was just generally a bad tasting cake. We were only offered a partial refund despite this horrible experience. We will never shop from this business again.

Cake arrived beautifully and intact. Tried the Belgium chocolate flavour. Not bad. Excited to try more. Hope you can maintain the service and quality.

my parents have loved coming here for dessert every now and then. you can get your last minute birthday cakes from here, they have slices, 6" cakes or 9" ready cakes there. cute birthday cards and a card decorating station as well! new favourite is the almond salted caramel mille crepe cake! their other cakes including the earl grey one is good too. have come back and would come back again. service is good too.

Nice cosy looking location in the lower ground of Starling Mall. Tried 'Death by Chocolate,' and that was a letdown considering how Eat Cake Today has been hyped so much and people raving about the cakes here. The outer chocolate layering is ok-only, but the chocolate sponge is not there at all. It's quite dry, not moist, and like the cheaper cake shop sponge. Even Family Mart Chocolate cake tastes so much better. Sorry, but they really need to improve unless you tell me the majority of people have very little taste sense.

Got curious as it kept popping unto our social media newsfeed. Apparently, it is a place that houses the best sellers from bakers all around. We wanted the pandan gula melaka cake but it was not available on that day so in the end, we opted for slices. They have a buy 3 free 1 offer going so we got a slice of Burnt Cheesecake, Lemon Earl Gray cake, Salted Caramel Drizzle cake and Dark Chocolate Mille cake. Being a chocolate fan, I was surprised that my favourite from the above were the burnt cheesecake which was really really good and another surprise was the earl gray which was just as impressive. It could be storage but somehow I felt the salted caramel cake was a little too dry and not enough cream in-between the layers. What the company did well was their idea of housing all into 1 place. Love their bright yellow branding. Their cakes are captured with the same lighting and backdrop so it really looked like it was all from them rather than various bakers. The girl that served us was really patient as I was fickle as we only have limited choices available. This is a good place if you want to celebrate an occasion as it does have huge choices of cakes/ designer cakes (online). Other than that, I do find the slices rather expensive thus splurging once in a bit for an occasion helps with sanity :). Another thing to note is that not all cakes are available on the same day, so if you are looking for something, check their web and call ahead.

Bought the 5 inch lemon poppyseed cake last night at starling mall outlet. Unfortunately we suspect the cake shas been frozen for many days because we couldn’t cut through the cake. It is a cream cheese cake, it was so hard until the knife broke while trying to cut through it, the base was so powdery because it was too dried up. Please improve your food quality in future. If the cake was frozen beforehand, you should inform the customers. Cake should be made fresh and sold on the same day.

We had their gula melaka pandan ( good ) and cherry dream ( not fresh ). Also had their black coffee. The shop wasn’t manned and we had to wait about 15 minutes for the staff to show up.

I had enjoyed my cakes very much. The staffs were really friendly and had recommended me getting the Mango Cake. So far, in my opinion, the cakes were better than the ones you could get in certain other cake shops as the cakes I got aren't as sweet or overwhelming. I came from Seremban to get the Rose Lychee Cake and the Mango cake for my birthday. Best decision made XD.

Very dry horrible overpriced cakes. Extremely stuck up and rude service. Parking seems to be more important to this bakery than actual quality of cakes. Apparently we are not allowed to park in the parking lots infront of these shops when these are the only actual parking lots around. I visited the shop to try their butter cake. It only took 20 minutes to have the cake beautifully decorated with buttercream. They'll ask about your preferred decoration and buttercream color. The decoration was very neat, and the cake was delicious. The butter cake itself was delicate, and the buttercream wasn't overly sweet, with a perfectly satisfying texture.

My friend help me buy this mix butter cake from here , it’s dense and good quality type of butter cake , I paid rm50 , Aug 2024 .

Parked in the parking bay outside the shop at about 6.30pm, the old lady from the shop was extremely aggressive in telling me to move my car. I explained to her that the dbkl lot is only reserved until 6pm, but she claimed that the parking lot is 'their private property'. She was quite rude and aggressive even though I tried to be nice.

Abundant selection of cakes that are hard to pass up. It's on the pricier side but well worth it.

We ordered a Japanese grape cake. RM98 is costly for a 4inch cake so naturally we had higher expectation on the taste and how the chef incorporate the grape into the cake. Turned out the cream was more than the sponge cake itself and the whole uncut grapes were just stuffed in between layers of sponge so couldn’t cut nicely. Very minimal effort from chef. I might as well get their cheaper signature Swiss roll and stuff in a few grapes myself. No difference. Also the cream was somehow scented? Tasted like some detergent to me. Family said it’s lavender scented. Overall a disappointment. 2 stars for taste, 4 stars for presentation coz it looks nice and it came with a real rose.

The cafe is very small indeed hence no dine in. Just take away. They only sell whole cake, not by slice. I bought the mixed fruits roll cake. It's delicious with reasonable price. The signature strawberry shortcake sold out pretty quickly. Better make reservation if you're keen to try.

I ordered Rose Lychee Raspberry Cake which was great! They even provide you with cute pink forks and knife. But don't expect too much from the shop layout as its very small. The branch that I went is at Mont Kiara. However, their cake artistry and flavour is definitely worth the price!

Tried the dalgona and Rose lychee cake. I think the place has really great fresh cream but that's it. Prob best for fruit cakes cos the dalgona was bland without the honey/coffeecomb and with the honeycomb... Doesnt complement the light, fresh cream. The muffins on the other hand was delicious and value for money

Used to be pretty good but quality has dropped and prices are too high. Had a birthday cake made for my daughter previously with figurines (it cost a lot extra!) and the figurines looked like it was made by a child with Playdoh!!

Really good cakes but service is highly questionable. Very scattered service and mismanagement of customer communications, which is a shame. Best to go pick up on the spot than rely on staff getting orders and instructions right on text.

The place is quiet and classy, but the mille feuille is horrible to be honest. Puff pastry is very very thick and hard to chew.. the creme pâtissiere is good ..the strawberries are sour surprisingly.. the staff are great..respectful and professional. One more thing. The lemon tea was awful 😆 just awful..not recommended

I do hope the croissants were more fresh and the choice of cheese is of better quality for the turkey croissant which was my choice for brunch but the fish and chips was good .Their fruit tarts are awesome and pairs well with their aromatic and lovely cup of coffee

Afer a long hiatus, first time coming back here to find the new "Paul". Had Paul Crepe with my all time favorite Cafe Medici. The crepe is tastefully done while cafe medici seems to lack the orange zest. Our server Jonry is attentive while serving us and very patience when explaining their newly launched loyalty program. Worth to check it out.

Love all the food here. From croissant, hot chocolate with whipping cream, strawberry tart, soft chocolate & blueberry tart is so wonderful. I love the ambience. The staff who treat us really nicely & very wonderful is Mr. Solaiman. He really serve us with good heart, also story about the history about PAUL & recommended which best seller food! Thankyou Mr. Solaiman for the good services. He work at PAUL pavillion KL. Please raise his salary well. Good manner & not arrogant. Just a bit upset, when i was at the front counter, The ladies who serve for pastries is not humble & no smile to us. She really rude & when i’m asking, she had no eye contact with us. Shw left me with speechless. But because we had a good services from other staff like Mr. Solaiman & the lady hijab. So i let it go. Overall is good at PAUL pavillion. Will come again.

got this blueberry muffin for rm12 but the inside is totally plain muffin with not a single blueberry nor blueberry jam trace lol. the so called blueberry only existed on the top crust. looks nice on the outside but boring on the inside 🤷🏻‍♀️ honestly dissapointing

We came on Tuesday and my son fall asleep, the cafe staff were very helpful and arranged a sofa for my son to rest, Mr. Solaiman was very thoughtful, and service was great, we enjoyed a little our nap time, highly recommended !

Brought aunty here for their breakfast, it’s easier to get parking on weekends. The foods were good, just that the rocket salad is very bitter, can’t take it. At the area where they have their pastry has a fly that came in, this is one of the problems most cafe or restaurant face.

Friendly service although my husband had nearly finished by the time my meal came up. Square breakfast and shakshuka were delicious but my egg was overdone. Lovely display of desserts which we took for later and were also delicious.

Huckle Bangsar is a good place for chills & cozy, The service was good from the waiter/cashier and all. They volunteer to take our family photo and always smile with a good mood. Always a good experience here. Even though it was busy, Both dishes prepared really well.

Great place to hang out with friends and family. Cozy, but it can get too loud and not really calm when there’s a full house of customers dining in. Plenty of food on the menu, and also lots of pastries to choose from. There are a few cake options as well. I ordered their Chef’s Choice sandwich — it was good! I also ordered the iced chocolate, but it wasn’t really to my taste because it didn’t have a rich chocolate flavor. However, their gula melaka kouign-amann… top notch! Ask for it to be heated — it’s damn good! 🤩👍🏼 didn’t manage to take photo of the kouign-amann tho 🤣 Planning to come back again to try other items on the menu! 😊

Nice cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. However come during the weekend, it is crowd with people. Plenty of cakes and pastries selection. Nice environment. Plain water is served upon seating.

Breakfast was good and enjoyed the (bit spicy but yummy) Turkish eggs - try it. The menu order is by QR code but the choices on the paper menu are not all reflected in app - choice of bread with the Tyrkish eggs, no easy over egg side order, .... Please update your app regularly to make life easier for your staff and kitchen.

Awesome Cafe, they have a few outlet but KHB Taman Tun is the best, The food was so good (I had the Salt Beef Reuben Toasties with a Ice Americano and Wifey had the Smoked Salmon & Avocado with a Ice Mocha) and the atmosphere was great. Had lunch here during weekday. The food waiting period is reasonable. But somehow we felt the food was overpriced. Taste wise is average. We had outdoor seating it's quite hot..I think they need to have another portable air-conditioned or fan mist...

Food are good and tasty but seem like even though they have other outlet standard seem difference. Service was good we dont have to wait so long but if you coming on weekend better to booking. the atmosphere is cozy and nice with their outdoor and indoor seating

Quite disappointed with the experience. The main course were really average in taste, nothing memorable, especially considering the higher price point. Service was lacking; staff seem inattentive and it was hard to get their attention when i want to request for smtg. Also, when i requested plain water, other tables were served in proper glass cup, but we were given plastic cups instead— likely just to avoid washing. It felt lazy and careless, especially for a place of this standard. That said, their pastries are quite decent and the only thing worth coming for. If you’re just popping by for peach strudel, it might be fine. But for a full meal, I wouldn’t recommend.

This Kenny Hills branch is our favourite so far because it’s surrounded by greeneries and is definitely a go-to place on a slow and chill Sunday. My boyfriend loves their roasted beef sourdough with cheese that’s served with salad. We were on our lemon-craving tour so we ordered lemon cheesecake (very creamy but not heavy) and dark chocolate lemon curd cake (the lemon curd was in perfect sweetness). We love this place and will definitely come back again.

Food was okay for its price, standard cafe pricing. Environment was nice, a little warm for outside seating, but they do provide outdoor conditioning and fans. Staff was fast and efficient too.

Finally got the chance to try out Table&Apron ! Amazing food (looove the tomato salad and tiramisu). Service by the front-of-house was positive and efficient. We appreciate the well explained food recommendation by Mitch before we ordered, which was very useful. We dined in at 5:45pm, the room quickly filled up with other customers as time progressed. Reservation is highly recommended.

I came here for my wife's birthday dinner. As it was Sunday, the premise is fully booked, but I was glad the staff able to find me a table. Not extensive menu and the crew highlighted some of the specialities in the menu. Their Fried Chicken, Duck Confit, and Pork Ribs all taste delicious. As for Tiramisu, it taste more bitter more than sweet side. The crews were all very friendly and chatty.

One of the biggest own goals. Service was warm, they address you by name and made solid recommendations when I was unsure what to order. Loved it. Food was great all around. Charred okra was great and appetizing with the sauce. First time having ulam rice and I thought it was a nice dish with mellow flavors and a nice crunchy texture which balanced out with the fried chicken nicely. The fried chicken had a flaky crispy batter and the time of the cook was perfect. Tiramisu was amazing and nicely finished off the meal. Now, why is this the biggest own goals though? I suspect the fried chicken was frozen. The chicken had a stench to it, the meat was stuck firmly to the bone, and there was discoloration at the bone. What was theoretically a perfect fried chicken was brought down just like that. I really wanted to love it, but this unfortunately entirely changed the dish for me. All in all I still enjoyed my meal here.

We made a booking. And you have to reach on time ( well thats how booking works) or youd be penalized for late or cancellation. Now the admin work is out. Lets go to food. Food: surprisingly good. We were shocked at the elements in the baked cauliflower that elevated the dish. Greasy fried chicken but the batter was spot on crunchy. Ribs were well seasoned. Tiramisu is for another story. Now why dont have i a picture of all the foods together? This is where service comes in. We finished our cauliflower. Waited. And came ribs. Finished. Waited. Waited. Wait continues. And came the fried chicken. ( Yes we were looking at other peoples fried chicken that came after us reached their table) So the ladies asked. And i told them. They gave the criticism to the head honcho. He took it. Gave us a complimentary tiramisu (yes thats the story) kudos to the lad. Cuz not all head chef do these. Tiramisu was spot on. We couldnt stop eating and you dont feel overwhelmed. Yes you know that feel of too much cream. It was right alcohol to coffee to cream ratio. PS. Only 1 toilet. But all good in there

We’ll never forget this restaurant — absolutely loved it! The service is worth more than the price, and it’s the perfect place to celebrate special occasions. The staff are very professional and attentive, always checking in and asking for your feedback. They even pay attention to customers’ opinions whenever there’s a new menu launch. Every time I visit, the dishes surprise me in the best way! Especially the sweet potato with cheese — such an unexpected but amazing combination. And the pistachio dessert… I’m seriously obsessed! The best fried chicken I have had in KL. Surely will be going back for more. It has become one of the first places we think of when we want to indulge in good food. The service is top notch and I would give 6 stars if possible. They accept special requests while ordering and the food doesn’t disappoint. You will love the expression on the faces of your family and friends when they take the first bite.

Long time favourite cafe that makes tasty hearty fare. Pork ragu is rich, pork ribs sticky sweet and roasted cauliflower very good. Make a reservation as this cafe is popular.

Family likes the artisanal sourdough loaf and have bought it several times. Children also like the sweet potato madeleines. The store is cosy and inviting. The pastries near the door are on an open display and look very inviting. I’d prefer them to be under transparent food covers or a shelf with sliding doors though. Overall, will return.

The pastries are fresh and scrumptious. There are plenty of choices to choose from. You can purchase from savoury to sweet. I suggest to share the pastries as it may be too sweet if you eat alone. Good alternatives from other famous pastries shop : Croisserie, Flaahh, Kenny Hills Baker. Price is slightly steep, 4 pastries are RM36.

Honestly THE BEST CANELLE EVER!!! Also other pastries do yummy too hahaha. But if u love canelle this plave is for u - i tried all but my fav is pistachio and pandan ones!! Rm6-8 per piece but worth it! I had the tarts too- the fruit tarts was ok but the chocolate and matcha one are to die for! They only have 4 seats so u better just take away lah. Its self service then pay at counter. Place can be bit messy at the tables coz not enough staff probably. Also i love their packaging, so proper either in box for pastries and paper bag for breads. They have beautiufl take a way paper bag too but cant get more than 1 sadly. Hahaha. Staffs not friendly not rude so just ok. Toilet just beside this.

A small and cozy French style bakery at an unassuming corner in Publika selling a variety of viennoiseries & pastries. Perfect place for some breakfast with their house blend coffee or snack on their pastries and finish it with their homemade French custard ice-cream. Simply awesome 🤟👍

Would recommend if you want a good cup of coffee and have some time to kill. The pastry is also quite good. Prices are reasonable. Who knew tucked away in the middle of Publika Shopping Mall is a quaint little French cafe. This cafe is as French as it can get with some of the best pastries, baguettes and croissants. Freshly baked and in small quantities paired with your cafė latte or favourite tea, this cafe will seriously make you feel as though you are in France. Love the cranberry scones and with the additional fresh creme and jam. One of the best scones I've had so far. The chicken bacon mustard baguette is also great. Great ambiance with French songs played in the cafe, good food and fantastic service will make you come back again. I know I will 😁

Small, very homey cafe! Little seating inside, but there are more tables outside. Their menu offers quite the variety of dishes - pasta, all day breakfast, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, salads, pizza, and Asian main dishes. Also a variety of cakes available. You can order whole cakes from them and there are plenty of options to choose from. I tried the scones, two pieces for RM9. Moist and delicious, generous with the fresh cream and jam. My husband had the quiche and it was steaming hot when it arrived! 😂 Would definitely come back again. Reminds me of those little cafes in Cameron Highlands.

Lovingly prepared quick meals and luscious cakes to savour. No-frills setting but clean and adequate seating. Fast, friendly service and consistently good food, be it the fluffy Dutch baby pancakes, mushrooms and scrambled eggs or healthy salads. The cakes deserve special mention and are worth the calories.

I followed the reviewed crumbs to this cafe and honestly, the question on my mind is.. what’s all the hype about? The beef sandwich came out mixed in with rare and overdone meat. Try taking a bite out of a sandwich with rare beef, it requires quite an effort to keep it looking like sandwich let alone tasting like one. I sent that back. The ‘lamb meatball marinara pasta’ tasted more curryish than marinara and exactly the same as the ‘ creamy Italian baked kampung eggs’ .. the base gravy indistinguishable between the two dishes. Man I have so many questions, but that’s fine. It’s a one and done. If it wasn’t for their saving grace, the coffee and spiced hot chocolate, I would have rated this experience as a 1 star.

I don't even know why it took me so long to try this place. The food is spectacular. And the price is pretty reasonable given the quality. The food quality rivals fine dining establishments, even though it appears to be an unassuming cafe. I will definitely come back for more.

Hidden little gem that serves roast beef sandwich that is out of the world. We avoided peak times and visited at about 3+pm. It’s easy to get a table at that time. The place is small with limited tables only, not very recommended for large groups. We ordered a roast beef sandwich after reading all the great comments, it didn’t let us down at all. The bread was crispy and buttery, the beef was tender and juicy while the pesto further enhanced the flavors by adding an extra earthiness to it. We also ordered the Hainanese Chicken Chop. While the chicken was nice and crispy, it wasn’t authentic Hainanese style. The sauce was mostly tomato sauce and was not enough. Latte was good though. Great place. We’ll be back to try out their other dishes and desserts.

Service was terrible. Very slow. Every time we ordered something, it took forever to get our food and drinks. Just to get a coffee, we had to wait 20 minutes, and their response was that they were super busy.

Your staff Syazani, his team and also the manager was extremely generous and kind to ensure the delivery of my order was resolved. I had a plan in place for a small birthday celebration but at the last minute found out that the delivery driver forgot about it. Syazani took charge and sent my orders as soon as possible. I am so forever grateful. Please give Syazani and the cake shop manager bonuses and promotion for their outstanding service. Today would not have been a huge success without their prompt actions. The desserts was delicious. As a former chocolatier myself who is very critical and picky when it comes to desserts, i can assure you that the desserts was only made by real chocolates and top quality ingredients. Hidden bakery known to many that lives around here. Easy eat with good quality pastries. Priced well and good service. Gets busy in morning with breakfast crowd. The double cheese croissant is nice. So is the croissant ham sandwich.

Touché Pastries and More offers a good variety of food and drinks. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, the portions are consistent and slightly larger. The same goes for their pastries, which are a bit pricey but well-made. I tried their mushroom truffle Danish—the layers were crunchy, and I appreciated the slightly salty side of the pastry. The truffle aroma was strong, making it a great choice. Definitely worth a try when you visit!

Cosy little cafe selling a variety of pastry and coffees & teas. The variety in pastry was interesting and I had a difficult time making up my mind. We settled on a latte, matcha latte and the truffle pastry. Matcha latte was on the bitter side, i wasn’t a fan of the taste. Truffle pastry was served cold and didn’t feel fresh. Faint truffle taste, but I love mushrooms, so it was still enjoyable. I wouldn’t return here. Prices are a bit steep. But parking is plentiful which is always a plus point for me.

Touche has been around for ages, making Seksyen 17 PJ its home but I have never stepped into this neighbourhood cafe until recently. For the uninitiated they are sister outlet of the more popular & newer Noon Viennoiserie Cafe in SS4. The interior of this cafe is more relaxed and cosy. ◾Macadamia Mushroom Soup - Portabello mushroom, button mushroom, roasted macadamia, cream, garlic butter toast.. these combinations gave the soup texture the thickness, creaminess as well as earthy taste. Satisfying in the morning! ◾Salmon Don - Mentaiko salmon and Japanese rice had lovely flavour of mentaiko that never ceases to put a smile on the face. The salad with pomegranate on the side cut the oiliness. ◾Coffee is still the weakest link and in dire need to improve the most, same as Noon. Expect to find similar pastries in both outlets.

It’s a decent spot for breakfast. We ordered the big breakfast and some egg tarts — everything was fresh and tasted good.

I’ve been to their KLCC and Bangsar outlets. Good selection of ice cream which included local flavours. Would be nice if they have different scoops for different flavours (for allergy purposes). Not sure if they cater to vegans or not!

Please train your staff to be more attentive to customer’s needs. There were no customers when I arrived, but it still took a while for me to just get 1 order. Also after I have left the premises only I remembered that I didn’t scan my BR app for my purchase (a missed opportunity to get points!). Yes I know on my part I should’ve remembered, but usually it’s part of the service to ask anyway.

Disappointed with the inaccurate closing time. Google states the outlet closes at 12am, but when I arrived around 11pm, it was already shut. If you’re closing earlier, please update your hours accordingly. It’s frustrating to make the trip only to find the place closed. Not a good look for customer service.

There's Rm1 deal for the month of September. It's a great deal. Coffee toffee flavour of the month is pretty good. You get a free upsize for this month too. I always get the maui brownie. It's the best! I find the cakes very expensive. This place is not very crowded unlike other branches.

The staff who served us was friendly, the ordering process pleasant and welcoming. However the actual ice cream scoop that my son received was poorly formed , with a hollow hole center that left my son disappointed . He insisted giving one star review from his disappointment .

I visited the popular café Merchant’s Lane in Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur. The entrance is quite hidden, but once you step inside, you’re welcomed into a completely different world — a retro and stylish interior with a rustic charm. The slightly worn walls and wooden furniture create a warm, cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. The menu offers a creative mix of Asian and Western fusion dishes, all served in generous portions. The seafood pasta, loaded with prawns and clams, was especially delicious — creamy yet with a nice spicy kick that kept me coming back for more. The cheesy meatball gratin and crispy hot fries on the side were also very satisfying. Drinks are just as unique. I ordered a chocolate frappe that came with a whole donut on top — not only Instagram-worthy, but also rich and indulgent in flavor, almost like a dessert on its own. Prices are not the cheapest, as it’s a popular tourist spot, but considering the ambiance and quality of food, it’s definitely worth it. It’s the perfect place to take a break while exploring Chinatown, and I recommend ordering a few dishes to share with friends. A must-visit café when you’re in Kuala Lumpur!

I order the Kai Fan 4.0, and it was good, the food portion is quite big too. the veges were nicely roasted. I ordered the hot chocolate and it was just nice, not too sweet but also very rich. atmosphere is great, good for a cozy chat with your coworkers.

If not for the early breakfast from hotel , I would have the stomach desire to order more than one dish . Basically , I only managed to order the fusion Turkish based gravy with Chinese man tou. Very cleverly served in claypot , as it retained the warmth to this dish to make the savory dish taste good till your last bite . Decor was kept rustic to its old days . Only shortfall I will say is not having washroom to this cafe . Do cross over the street for washroom visit in the hotel before you climb up .

It was a good surprise finding this place upstairs next to a stationery shop. Cafe light and airy with aircond and non aircond seating area. Even have a private area for big group dining. Miso carbonara pasta with smoked chicken was not heavy, flavourful. Nasi lemak pancake was a good choice, the pancake was light and actually goes well with the chicken gravy, not too spicy. Even the ikan bilis was light and crunchy, not hard.

It’s situated in the most busy shopping district Pavilion. The cafe entrance was not big and sitting area was okay. But you’ve got great view of the whole open street( a bit like the Time Square in NY). The rose latte was impressive and the breakfast menu is these reasonable listed. It was a bit pity they most items were in-available when I visit. The staff members were attentive.

Went here during RMCO period. Seating arrangement are as per advise by the government. All servers / waiters were wearing mask and quite attentive. Food was okay. The hainanese chicken rice was surprisingly good. Their bread was good as always. Coffee was okay. Price was advanced. all in all, i think people lepak here for the view.

Came here three times during my weekend stay in KL. Loved their pastries, bread selection and their handcrafted coffee. Presentation of dishes is very nice . The staff who served us food were all very attentive. However the lunch dishes didn’t arrive hot enough , I will certainly give the entrée one more try the next time I visit KL.

We were here few weeks after it's opening, this time around Loaf Cafe has revamped itself into a much better place. Crews are much better. I like most of the pastries, my favourite are the almond croissants and apple turnover. More people are frequenting this outlet now and the dine - in menu are not bad.

we had the almond caramel croissant and nutella croissant along with the cranberry cream cheese, the almond one was good but it wasnt mind blowing, the nutella however, the filling tasted like raw cake better in an eggy way. the cranberry cheese tasted very average. The service wasn’t systematic at all. We waited at the waiting place but a lot of people just walked in because there was no worker to attend to the customers at the entrance. Coffee came quiet late so our pastries were cold by then. The cappuccino was delicious but i wish the flat white latte had a little plate that came with it so it wont spill.The table service wasn’t that great, the waiters weren’t all that friendly as well as the service at the counter was extremely slow given that the line was quite long. Also what was really funny when the waitress came to give our drink she kinda threw the straw on the table instead of putting it nicely, gave us quite an impression.

I really loves donut and this cafe served so many flavour of donuts its feel like a heaven to me! Not dissapointed at all. Their dough are very soft. Perfect for any short dates or mini tea time.

Went there for breakfast as they have the best view in Bukit Bintang, which turn out to be a perfect choice. Their coffee is as good and definitely would not want to miss out on their bakeries. We had their famous Cranberry Cheese Oyaki and Chocolate Croissant, one can tell the richness of it's flavors and the textures is completely different to the other, which makes us guessing...the effort and the ingredients put into it. It is really good. The ambiance with a garden feel completes our pleasant experience. We are no stranger to this local brand, have been patronizing a couple of times before they renovated this place. We came here after seeing the high reviews on Google Maps, but our experience was underwhelming. My sister ordered the BBQ beef melt ciabatta, but the beef turned out quite dry and didn’t match the description of “pulled slow-cooked BBQ beef.” It was tough to chew, and she couldn’t finish most of it. I had the eggs royale, but the hollandaise sauce wasn’t quite to my liking as it didn’t taste like a proper hollandaise. The side salad also didn’t feel very fresh. The coffee was alright, but nothing particularly memorable. The ambience, however, was lovely, it’s a nice spot if you’re looking for a place to sit and have a coffee or drink. For the food, though, I think there’s room for improvement.

Ra-Ft Crown BLT is delicious with the crispy cheese to enhance the taste and nice presentation. Avocado mushroom and asparagus is nice but avocado very little only. Overall good dining experience

A great brunch spot. I had the avocado and beetroot hummus toast was really tasty, the bread slices were thin though. The spinach and banana/honey smoothie was really tasty and sweet. The staff are very nice and welcoming too, would recommend this place for breakfast or lunch.

I simply asked the female staff whether the buttermilk flavour was available, and instead of answering politely, she responded with a rude and arrogant attitude, saying, “why just ask and not buy?” It felt completely uncalled for, is she the owner or something? She also still insisted I pay with coins even after I had explained that I didn’t have any. This kind of customer service is unacceptable. Where is the basic manner???

Really rude staff, already say I don't have enough coins, keep asking for coins. After that, ask me to pay RM5.00 which I pay RM50.00 earlier, and then still asking for coins, explaining several time don't have coins. That means I pay RM55.00 for RM15.40 food, and then they just return RM38.60, which means I pay addition RM1.00 due to I don't have coins. What the hell

Worst outlet ever is an understatement. If you're proudly posting in front of your store that you accept cash and ewallet, do so. Stop making people line up just for you to tell us that you only accept cash, and when you do, be ready with change. You're wasting people's time. First visit to Frisky Goat Bakery Cafe located at TTDI and overall experience wasn’t at a satisfactory level. The smoked salmon breakfast was stingy in portion with only two slices of smoked salmon. The sourdough was on the hard side. The pasta was below average and not much of a pesto taste. However, the wild mushroom soup was thick, creamy and delicious. Service wise was good and there wasn’t many customers around.

Food was okay. Seating is quite cramped as it was a public holiday. Ordered chicken waffle and it tastes okay. Did not try the pastries but it looks good. Nice place to have brunch in ttdi.

Good customer service, nice ambience, coffee was decent but just one suggestion, please look into your food portion for the price you charge us. For e.g. the portion of your salad to a meal is not balanced or serving one hard like a rock sourdough bread seems unfair. We would have paid about RM18-20 for the Farmer's Toast and the Gym Junkie Brekkie.

First time dining here and it’s a shame that today is their last day operating here in TTDI as they will be moving to Shah Alam. The Protein Boost Pink Avo (RM32.90) looked amazing & tasted excellent.

Another gem in the TTDI neighborhood, conveniently close to my home. I visited one evening for a quick meal and ordered their lemon poppy seed cake. It was incredible! Despite its simple appearance, the cake was soft, melted in my mouth, and the glaze perfectly balanced the flavors. The cafe has a very relaxing ambiance, making it an ideal spot to chill or get some work done. A few days later, I returned to take away some cakes, including the same lemon cake and their brownies. The brownies were fantastic, especially after reheating – not too sweet, just to my liking. While the prices are slightly on the higher end, they are still affordable considering the quality. Parking can be a bit challenging, especially at night, but it's worth it for the delicious treats and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The food so good. But when I saw the staffs used their hand to handle/touch the food before they deliver to the customers without glove or cutlery, I’m a bit shocked. After they touched everything, and they just touch the food to adjust or put salad etc, well thats what we called ‘air tangan’. Hahaha 😆😆 The pastries are good. The price a bit pricey but it’s okay.

Second time here, and the food once again was a delight. The food is quite pricey, but I would rate this very highly as it tastes phenomenally like food you’d be able to get at a classic breakfast cafe in the States. Lovely balance of flavours — buttery, savoury, a hint of occasional sour/sweet, and with the perfect crunch. Delicious. Haven’t had a chance to try the desserts yet, but then I have a reason to come back 🤭 This place does get very busy, so I’d recommend coming on a weekday. On weekends and peak hours, they do state that there is a 1-hour sitting limit, which is understandable. The food is served in a timely manner as well.

Cosy little neighbourhood cafe. Loved the coffee here, really up there. Smoked salmon creamy spaghetti was delightful. Very generous on the salmon, not fishy. Waffle was a bit dense and dry to my liking but I think it was made not with a plain batter- hence, the texture. I remembered having more fruits on it when I came a long time ago..? idk. Ambience was breezy. Would recommend and would come again. Good! Overall, pleasant experience.

Was here to get a quick caffeine fix and it was excellent. They use a blend of Colombia and Brazil beans, giving the cup a balanced fruity and yet chocolaty profile that’s rich yet smooth. The brew was done to perfection, highlighting the natural sweetness of the beans. The milk was steamed just right, silky, creamy, and perfectly balanced with the coffee. A truly satisfying cup. If you order black, they use single origin. Also purchased a bag of their whole beans which had just been roasted three days ago.

Parking is one of the reasons I like this cafe. Free and easy to park in KL city center. Hidden gem to chill in the hustle and bustle city. Vibes are comfortable. I do like the food they serve as it's a healthier option and proper explaination on the menu. The mushroom soup is good and after mixing with the coconut milk (white on top) it becomes more flavorful. I took away the smashed avo and hummus and it still tasted good when I eat it the next day. They charge RM1.00 for every take away packaging

the big breakfast is really BAD, roughly browsed through google review, few other comments previously mentioned the same thing. rm 35+ for that "big breakfast" is NOT worth it : tasteless , weird combo , small portion. Please improve the taste of your food and at least make some sense out of the rm35+ ppl pay for it. the drinks is very "healthy" taste, its flavour is literally what they describe; in my case = matcha powder + lemonade (you could probably imagine the taste outcome ). Despite those negative things, the vibe seems NICE , if you do plan to come here, i will advise probably just get a coffee and maybe share a slice of cake atmost.

A great spot with a welcoming vibe. A little gem. I tried the avocado toast and it was absolutely delicious. They also have a good coffee. Good value for money and a nice place to hang out with friends or family.

Travel Cafe Eat Drink - Malaysia & Asia RGB Coffee roaster and cafe has a very casual vibe in an old bungalow. Very outright casual spot for simple yet good breakfast or brunch. Lots of parking around this vicinity

I have mixed feelings about our recent visit. Living not far from this café, we used to come very often—either for breakfast or just for dessert—because of the good selection of vegan cakes. Some time ago, new management took over, and the place has been slowly going downhill. The most charming seating area at the back, with a cute little library, is now closed off (walled up). The main dining hall is in urgent need of renovation—just look at the walls, ceiling fans, etc. The staff is friendly but clearly unfamiliar with vegan options. I emphasized several times that we are vegan, and although they seemed to understand, their actions said otherwise. The lady who took our order even asked if we wanted fish sauce with our spring rolls. Then, when I asked how many vegan meatless balls came with the dish, she didn’t know and had to check with the other staff members. After a brief discussion, they told us there would be four balls, but only three were served. Our favorite pumpkin soup—the main reason for our many returns—was far too spicy this time. Has the chef changed, or was the recipe altered? They still had a couple of slices of vegan cake, which we ordered. I also asked for a matcha latte with oat milk. The matcha latte arrived, but the taste was very off. I double-checked with my husband, who had placed the order, and he confirmed he had specifically requested oat milk—as shown by the extra charge on the bill. After the meal, I asked the staff about the milk used in the matcha latte. After checking among themselves, the barista admitted that it had been made with regular cow’s milk instead of oat milk. To their credit, the staff reimbursed us for the oat milk charge. Since the extra seating areas are now closed, the main dining hall has become very noisy, especially when large groups gather and talk loudly. It’s really sad to see how this once lovely and peaceful neighborhood café is gradually declining due to careless management and untrained staff.

Three visits, and I can honestly say it rivals the hyped bakeries. 🥪 Onion Chicken Slice – soft, savoury, satisfying. Loved it. 🍵🍫 Earl Grey White Choc – didn’t expect much, but it pulled a plot twist. Fragrant, soft yet chewy. Note: the Earl Grey scent might come off a bit strong or artificial for some. 🍕 Pizza Bun – soft and nice too, but kinda the background character. Still eyeing the rest of the lineup… so I went back. Day 2 discoveries: 🔥 Mentai French – looks tall and intimidating, so I was bracing for a mentai overload, but the filling was surprisingly minimal (in a good way). Chewy and dangerously addictive. 🥖 Petite Ball – reminded me of Delifrance’s European potato-shaped bread, but this one’s got a slightly thinner, less hardcore crust. Still firm, still satisfying. 🥪 Milano Sandwich – chilled section item. The bread texture here is totally different from their room-temp ones. Soft, airy, muffin-like. Fluffy in a surprising way. The egg ham filling is totally on point. 🍫🍓 From their sister brand Chéz Récamier: – Chocolate Mousse: Not sweet at all (yay), but I wish the chocolate flavour hit a little deeper. – Strawberry Tart: Refreshing and bright. Good value for the quality you get. Worth a try. – Custard Choux (mini & regular): Mini size is perfect when you just want a light bite. – Melon Choux (mini): A bit sweeter than the original — I still prefer classic custard. – Chocolate Éclair: No complaints. All in all: solid picks for the price and taste. Day 3 discoveries: 🌀 Pain Aux Raisins - it's good, though I’d prefer it without the custard inside. 🧁 Sponge Cake - not quite there for me Subsequent visits: 🌰 Cranberry Walnut – chewy, not dry, generous with nuts and berries in every bite. 🥔 Potato Chicken Ham – shaped like a real potato (so cute). Mashed potato filling with tiny chicken bits. Nice, but another background character. 🍞 Queen’s Bread – 5pcs RM16 (thicker cut). Plain on its own, but once toasted with butter – magic. Fragrant, soft, café-level good (maybe better).

It is clear that Sun Moulin has a wide selection of bakes. In fact, I love the freshness of their bakes and tried the chocolate coronet & egg bread, both were well baked to the perfect texture. You can definitely observe each patron would pile up their orders prior lining up for payment.

Tried garlic creamy bread and choco cream cheese soft french. Both liked them alot.

Bought their coffee and pistachio bomboloni at Salon Du Pain pastry event in Isetan Lot 10. Doesn't taste good and authentic flavour, no taste of coffee and pistachio in their cream, both taste like kaya cream - ended up taking out the cream as too sweet. Not worth the price compared to other bakery booths at the event.

They have really good choice of bread here . And their service is good . What I love the most is their chocolate donut and sandwiches. They are so fresh and yummy . Staff are friendly and helpful . But here always long queue and they only have 2 cashiers . This place is clean and well maintained. Highly recommended !

Why is the champagne bread has holes in the middle? Not one piece but most of the pieces

their baguettes are crazy legit. sugared donut holes - very nice. go and get their baguettes in the morning or just before noon - if you prefer your bread nice and warm.

Artisan Roast has come a long way since its old spot I used to frequent. The new location offers more space and a refreshed vibe—without losing its charm. Thankfully, the coffee remains just as great.

Artisan Roast in TTDI is a hidden gem tucked away in a quiet shoplot, perfect for coffee lovers. The long black is excellent, well-roasted with a smooth body, great aroma, and not overly dark, making it very enjoyable. Their chocolate chip cookies are also delicious, with just the right texture and sweetness. For something refreshing, the passionfruit mint kombucha is a lovely surprise, light, tangy, and balanced. Service is friendly and comes with a smile, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The ambience is cosy and relaxed, great for quiet conversations, reading, or working. A fantastic spot to escape the crowds and enjoy quality coffee and treats. Definitely worth a visit.

Set-up in a quiet part of ttdi, a street less talked about or travelled. Easy street parking. Inviting shop, friendly barristas. Wooden and raw brick-divided seating, with a long table for groups. Had an egg sandwich in focaccia bread - soft centre, crunchy outer and just enough chew. And a dirty white with house beans - 'monkey puzzle'. A light roast with faint hints of calamamsi. Couldn't quite catch the spicy calendula note. Dirty white was served with ice cubes and a straw. A first for me!

We ordered our coffee iced, but were told it was recorded as hot. Fine, we agreed to pay extra for the change. But when the drink came, the glass wasn’t even cleaned properly. For a RM16 coffee, we expected much better quality and service.

Truly the star here. I had a iced mocha and iced latte. Smooth, perfectly balanced with just the right acidity ✨

It's definitely a hotspot for chocolate lovers, a place with chill vibes. The team here is super friendly and well knowledgeable of all things chocolate. My experience was sensational. I highly recommend this spot. And got to fry their range of kombucha. The Yuzu mint is so damn good!

Dropped by Moonlight Bakery yesterday and had a pleasant experience. The service was lovely—the girl at the cashier greeted us with a warm smile and was very polite and gentle while helping us pack our items. It’s a cozy little bakery with a clean environment and that subtle aroma of bread. Although the variety of bread has decreased compared to the past, it’s still enough to meet the general needs. The Swiss roll and Pandan Mung bean pastry still as delicious as I remember! As for the regular bread, honestly, it’s just okay. Nothing that really stands out, especially compared to some other bakeries nearby. Still, I’m happy to drop by once in a while—mainly for that mung bean pastry lar 😋

Nice environment, the food tastes good and the service is good too. This restaurant is kids friendly. They have kids menu also provided utensils for kids, personally don't recommend the kids menu. The restaurant is located at second floor so might be inconvenient for OKU. The price of food and drinks are slightly higher but worth it. Highly recommend the fried tofu. A great place to have brunch or high tea.

One of the landmark cake and coffee place at Sri Petaling. Located next to McDonald’s, it is a good place to find good pastry, bread and cake. If interested, it is also possible to enjoy a cup of coffee located upstairs. Overall the price of the cake is quite reasonable and taste is not bad too.

Same setting as the one in Puchong... Ordered a few dishes... Their tomyam seafood pasta is quite balance, not too heavy on the tomyam taste... As for their homemade sauce fried chicken chop, the flour is salty... Sauce was ok... Their cake taste as good

This time say no ppl can do.when I say I don't want to buy ,say kitchen mention can write . I don't know what they think . What is that service. One of the most stylish bakery and cafe we can have in Sri Petaling. Though the food and cakes are quite commercialized, they offer so much variety that you definitely be able to grab one that suits your tastebud. There are a spacious cafe upstairs for dine in customers to enjoy Western food. Have tried the pesto pasta, it was good. Not gonna recommend the Korean honey chicken wing though, it tasted alittle fake and plasticy. All in all, good place for a quick bread grab or working on laptop with a cup of hot coffee.
