We had an early breakfast here. The service was very good and the food was ok. We liked the bakery items (coconut cookies were very good) with the hot chocolate and masala tea but... the savory items like sandwiches, omelet, and the Israeli breakfast (eggs, hummus, etc) were somewhat bland for our tastes.
Some great food here at a very good price! Ganess and Lakshamn were very good waiters and always delivered the food on time.

I have been here in July, 2012. This is a famous bakery in Leh. But if you want to have food it also serve for you. The special menu I have experience was Phad Thai! yes it serve Phad Thai. I am Thai so this is not miss for me the eat Phad Thai. The taste is very good, almost same as in Thai. I recommend you!
Located on Old fort Road in the main market of Leh, it cannot be missed with its big yellow board. The bakery now boasts of an restaurant as well. their most famous creation is Coconut Cookie and it was good & there second best was Choco Danish and it tasted like heaven.
Best place for pies. Had blueberry cheesecake and it was yum. Very nice ambience and welcoming staff.

The café 3 Wise Monkeys is a small and calm spot that offers great drinks and freshly made cakes. It's also got a lovely atmosphere and some great books to read. The owner of this cafe is a Japanese man who loves cooking western dishes with local ingredients, and his staff are passionate about making the perfect coffee.
I had an absolutely delightful experience at 3 Wise Monkey's Cafe! 🌟 I ordered a latte and the matcha mille crepe cake, and both were exceptional. ☕🍰 The latte was perfectly brewed and the cake was the most delicious and unique dessert I've had in Leh. The matcha cream was incredibly flavorful. Highly recommend! 👌✨

Had the best Matcha crepe here in 2021. Was searching for the name. But sad to see it’s temporarily closed. Hope it’s open again and I can go there by next year.
It was a last-minute decision to try the cakes and coffee at this cafe after having lunch at Gesmo Restaurant. The establishment is located on Old Fort Road, next to Ladakh Fitness Center.
The space is small but nicely furnished. Apart from two tables that can seat 3 to 4 people, there are stools with a bar to one side of the room (for solo travelers, I presume). A glass display near the cash counter houses the cakes available.
When we dropped in around 4:30 PM yesterday, there were only a few pieces of cake left. The price for a piece of cake is around Rs. 180.
Other drinks and dishes are listed on the wall above the cooking area. There are different types of coffee and tea on offer.
We ordered an Apricot cheesecake, a Matcha cake, a Chocolate roll, and two cups of coffee.
My friends found the cakes delicious, but I did not feel the same. The Matcha cake did not have enough flavor in my opinion. And the cheesecake was too subtle for my Indian palate. I liked the chocolate cake, although I would have preferred more chocolate.
On the whole, I think the flavors are more attuned to the western palate. Subtle and delicate. As I'm used to strong flavors, they did not hit the mark for me.
The bill came to Rs. 750.

Very cute and small cafe. Service is excellent. We tried the iced latte, tuna sandwich and veg omelette. All were very well presented and the taste matched the high quality presentation. Good coffee, they grind fresh.
This Café offers the best coffee specialities in Leh, where good coffee ist quite rare to find. The location is not easy to spot but worth looking. The matcha cake was also a dream. The wooden design is hip. Recommended!

After the day we spotted this cafe, we on an average went 2-3 time daily for the next 7 days or so. The cafe is super cosy, cute, and the coffees are amazing. Staff is super warm and courteous, they make you feel at home. I also had the chance to have breakfast there and it was very tasty. A cute cafe with small menu but amazing taste and experience. The staff went above and beyond and made us apricot biscuits (which were off the menu) to make our anniversary special. Such a sweet gesture from their end☺️Thank you Mohan and Heroshimi for the lovely experience.

The restaurant is very close to Leh Main Market Street. It's got a great ambience. There's a lovely balcony area, in case you want to smoke with your buddies while having your meal. There's an inside area that's very well furnished, with comfortable chairs, sofas, and separate little seating areas for larger groups. The food is very tasty: they use quality ingredients, and they present it very nicely. My Iced Latte was really good, too, and strong like I prefer it.
It's a tiny bit more expensive than other restaurants I've been to locally, but not by much. It might be best to visit here with a large group of friends, order a vast variety of dishes, and share and sample them all with your friends. Their menu is vast, and I've got a feeling that everything on it is probably worth trying. (I'm here solo today, so all I could manage was their Mushroom Chilly Dry, a Banana Honey Pancake, with an Ice Latte.)
...But I'll be back here for their Yak Cheese Veg Pizza, and maybe the Paneer Chilly Dry, and I'll add in a few pics of those items when I'm back.
They have free wifi, and a restroom, both of which make any restaurant visit in Leh a much better experience (at least for me!).

This was the first restaurant we tried in Leh. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the ambiance was quite serene. Their menu offered a wide variety of options, and the food was enjoyable.
I went to this restaurant with high hopes, assuming it has good rating and middle of the market location leads more to the credibility, but my experience was the least expected.
The service is pathetic. At least, in my case, it was. The waiter took our orders, which were a pizza, butter tea and watermelon juice. Nothing fancy, time consuming.
And then the wait started. 20 min later the waiter comes and tells sir, the pizza cannot be made as the base is finished. We say, okay, no problem. Please do grilled sandwiches instead. He obliges and goes back to the kitchen.
And then the wait startes. 20 min later, we get our tea and juice. At this point it is 40 min past the original order time. We still accept and ask to expedite the Sandwich order please. But, time goes on and on and we do not get our order. People who came after us got their order and even started leaving after finishing. 40 min later, after politely telling the waiter that we are leaving and please let us know the bill, he does get the sandwiches, which haven't been grilled at all( I have shared the picture). You can compare it with the pics other people have uploaded.
Overall, the taste was good, ambience was good as well, but the service ruined the experience. So, if you are planning to go here, keep this in mind, for else avoid this place.

The yak cheese pizzzaa is to die for. I generally can eat only a few slices but i finished up the entire thing even after having a big fruit bowl before that❤️❤️
Had a sumptuous meal at Gesmo in Leh! We ordered the chicken thukpa and mutton momos, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The thukpa was rich, flavorful, and perfect for the chilly weather—comforting in every bite. The mutton momos were juicy, well-seasoned, and came with a tasty dipping sauce that elevated the flavors even more. The service was warm and friendly, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better.

Our groups booked with Yama adventures for our trip in Ladakh… We had 2 dinner at Yama Coffee House.. They specially made thai food for us and the other one is Italian Food as Pasta, Pizza and salad.

If you are at Shanti stupa come downstairs & go through Yama Cafe Coffee house to refuel & refresh on the way to main market.

The food is very okay and I would not suggest anyone that they should go to this place to enjoy some amazing food. The service is extremely slow and I believe they are not very concerned about the hygiene because the tables were slightly dirty. The only good part is that there's a beer. Rather than that there's nothing much to care for.

This place has the most fantastic views from the rooftop. Truly spectacular. The food and ambience are good, too, but it's the views that took my breath away, and it's their main selling point. It's a must-visit, for the rooftop-level restaurant views. (They also have free wifi and restrooms, a MUST in Leh!)
The restaurant has a beautiful view but the food is quite salty for my taste.
The mixed rice dish is very delicious. I love it's so much.
Half of the cup Affogato was melted ice cream, which is very unfortunate. I dont't know how to staff service was very sad.
Amazing views and nice terrace but honestly the worst food and most expensive food I have ever had in India. Ever single item was undercooked and devoid of flavour, bad coffee too. Come for the view avoid everything else.
Honestly, ambience was good but food was horrible. We tried pizza (3/5), half-cooked very oily spring roll (1/5), red-pepper laced manchow soup (1/5) and pineapple boba (3/5).

My Cafe is highly regarded as one of the top coffee establishments in Ladakh. Ordered the flat white and the savory french toast with cheese and mushrooms. The coffee was absolutely great, great flavor profile, slightly bitter, faintly fruity and with the correct proportion of milk. The French toast were homely and delicious, soft, spongy, salted perfectly and the amounts of egg, cheese and mushrooms in the dish were perfect and it was immensely delicious, almost felt like a symphony of very simple yet refined flavors in the mouth. So I came with my biker friends after having turned down from the hyped Lehvenda Cafe..and I was absolutely delighted. The balcony view of the bustling street, the generous size of coffee cups and wonderful banana cake which we ordered.

• Mushroom Khambir Sandwich: This unique sandwich was a delightful local twist, and the flavors were fantastic.
• Broccoli Mushroom Pizza & Margherita Pizza: Both pizzas were delicious—crispy crusts, fresh ingredients, and perfectly baked.

Good food, small and cute place. But one thing which is most awkward is as soon as places like these have an inflow of foreign tourists, they start giving less importance to their own country people. Do not forget how you have reached to this place, but apart from this partial behaviour, food was good hence a five star.
Metta wasn’t easy to catch — our first two attempts were foiled by timing. But as with all good things, it was worth the wait. When we finally made it, Metta served not just food but soul.
The pizza, the Khambir, and a dessert so divine I’m still dreaming of it (photo posted, name forgotten!) — each dish was a masterstroke. We also got the chance to speak to Tanvi, whose passion for hospitality was instantly evident. Her warmth, paired with the all-women staff's grace and efficiency, elevated the entire experience.
The space is welcoming, the vibe is thoughtful, and the food is phenomenal. Pro tip: Check the timings before you visit — this hidden gem deserves your full attention. Don’t miss it.

What an amazing place and the taste. Located through the Leh main market this place is very easily to identify. I ordered for Apple pie and crossiant and really I was so happy to have it. True mouth watering and satisfying. The staff were very polite and helpful. The space was little bit small but still very good ambience. Easily accessible and payment through online and offline both mode available. Dine in and take away both options are available. Definitely give a try you will love it.

This is a small bakery located in Leh Market, I tried their signature Carrot Cake and Apricot Cheesecake. Loved both of them.
Loved the pizzas, momos and the blueberry cheesecake is a must have! It's a cozy little place in the mountains so please be patient.
All of their cakes are made fresh, on site. I had the Apricot Cheesecake (Rs 120) and Mocha (Rs 150). This place is right in the bustle of Leh Market, and it's very popular. The owner is a very sweet person, and my visit here was a fun one. 5 stars...worth a visit, for sure!
So far this is the best place I have eaten in Leh. I get my Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner here. I also take away some apple pie or crumble. I've just had the Thenthuk so good.

The most amazing customised birthday cake was made for my daughter’s third birthday. Kuddos to the team for being on point with the cake design, nailing the flavours of the cake blueberry and white chocolate. We were very impressed with the cake design and the intricate details (ocean themed cake) that were incorporated into the cake as requested. I would definitely recommend The Big Spatula. Never plan anything in advance with them. They will ruin everything. Had ordered and paid 3 days in advance, still had to run last moment. The bday cake was for client, delivery guy could not find a very prominent hotel and brought the cake back undelivered. In the end, had to send someone from hotel to fetch the cake. Delivery charges refunded but had to shell more in the last minute.

The staff is courteous, the decor is nice and the service is decent. However they could do a better job with the coffee itself. The cold coffee was made using instant coffee even though they have an espresso machine and the cappuccino was more like cafe au lait. The prices for the product therefore were high. Didn't taste the food so can't comment on it.

After 6 hours long hell of a bike ride ..we stopped here ..the food they serve is amazing be it pizaa s coffee. You can pick anything you won't be disppointed best part is items are priced fairly and you get value for your hard earned money..
