The owner is a lovely lady, truly passionate about her shop and always very kind. It was a pleasure meeting her every evening. We visited almost daily to try different desserts and each one was fantastic. Personally, I enjoyed the tiramisu the most. You can really taste the passion and love that go into the desserts and ice cream. Definitely worth a visit! We hope to come back one day.

Our favorite place to stop for Ice Cream and Greek coffee. Delicious choices. Shaded outdoor seating adjacent to the main square and large center tree. Make sure you stop in for a sweet treat while you are in Lixouri

Gorgeous ice cream in a variety of flavours, the gentleman serving us allowed us a small taste of something we weren’t sure about. We had the “one scoop” option but in that there were two scoops that could be different flavours! The whole family happily enjoyed their ice creams in the shady spot outside the shop. Oh, we also had a loyalty card, with the 8th scoop free…as there were 7 of us my mum sacrificed by having the extra scoop after later on that day!

Absolutely amasing ice-cream! We have tried various different places on our trip but none beats this fantastic place. All local made on the island and all fantastic flavours. Can't pick just 1, normally have 2 scoops each visit and have been everyday of our trip. Staff are fantastic. Truly ice-cream done well.

The icecream was really good, especially the pistachio and salted caramel. The staff very friendly, we chatted quite a bit after we payed. It’s a bit on the pricier side, though, but well worth a try.

I Scream is an absolute must after your Taverna visit. Friendly staff, delicious, home made ice creams and sweets, multiple vegan options (the vegan pink grapefruit is amazing). Don’t miss it!

The ice cream was nothing special — mediocre at best, and sometimes worse. Don’t expect anything extraordinary despite the long queue to be served. What was truly outrageous, though, was the pricing: €3.40 for regular scoops and €4 for the so-called “premium” ones (premium, lol). In the end, two takeaway ice creams cost us almost €20. People really should stop supporting this overrated madness.

We went there every day to buy apple pie, it was our favorite. Really delicious. Also we bought good bread. We also tried other products, some better than the others, but the apple pie remains the best.

The best cafe in Argasi. Good pastries and baguettes. Coffee in a proper cup and cappuccino was really good, not in a cardboard mug, really nice thing. Location on the main street, right in the center of Argasi.

We loved this bakery and now on our second visit to Kefalonia this is our favourite bakery for bread, ice-creams and cakes. It is right along the front so if you come for an ice-cream you can sit outside watching the world go by (which is lovely at the end of the day). Ice-cream – this was our favourite place for ice-cream in the north of the island we came here 5 times for ice-creams during our stay. We sampled the cones and medium tubs. We tried Yogurt with honey and nuts, dark chocolate with orange, special chocolate (which was dark chocolate with dried fruit), pomegranate sorbet (my favourite sorbet), strawberry sorbet, vanilla. They were all delicious and generous portions. Bread- always lovely fresh bread, and rolls which we bought daily Cakes and biscuits – we had various biscuits which were fresh and super-delicious without being over-sweet and our favourite were their protein health bars which were full of dates, nuts, seeds, some cocoa and not too sweet. These were super-delicious. My husband also tried their apple pie which was lovely (pastry a little thick but otherwise great). Staff are friendly and helpful.

Came here for ice-cream twice. One of the best ice-cream I've ever had! Strawberry sorbet full of fresh Strawberry, and the orange cake flavour..... just WOW! Simply devine.

Probably the best bakery in the island! We tried a lot of their stuff, some of them are local tastes, do try them! We usually went there for breakfast or before going to the beach so we had food with us.

Could not rate the food or drink, but the service was truly awful. After being ignored for some time I finally got the attention of the waitress to order some drinks, others being served around us as they arrived. 30 minutes later we asked when our order would come to be told by the same waitress that she had not taken an order and would come later?! She insisted she was correct and had not taken the order - unbelievable. Left and got served within minutes at the cosi restaurant and few doors along. Read the star rating as ZERO.

Very good bakery at the port of the Sami. Open from early in the morning with tasty bakery and milk products, as well as juices, sweets and coffees. The casual outdoor seating next to the port is a very nice spot for breakfast, takeway is also an option. It is an inexpensive one, the service is good.

Easily my favourite place in Corfu for coffee and pastries. They never disappoint, tyropita, spanakopita, zabonotyropita, bougatsa, everything is basically to die for, and the sweets, ice cream and breads are also excellent!! Friendly staff and very quick service, this is a must pit-stop for anyone heading to the northern part of the island.

I’ve added photos, but they don’t do this place justice. Feel like we are in the middle of the local spot with the most friendly staff even though I was nervous about not speaking Greek! Thank you for making our morning so special with your fantastic treats

5 stars – Outstanding coffee and ice cream! The Americano here is truly amazing – rich, full-bodied, aromatic, and with a pleasant hint of acidity. Definitely not like the over-roasted beans you often find elsewhere on the island. This coffee really stands out. Their ice cream is also excellent, with a wide selection of flavors. The stracciatella is especially good, packed with plenty of chocolate. They also offer different waffle cones that kids will love.

Maybe for a long period I didn't visit this place, but every new time unfortunately getting more upset due to really poor waiters' service, as well as the overcosted prices for everything if you are dine-in. I could recommend to take away the sweets like an alternative, as well as the coffee, as nowadays cost of simple cappuccino reached Liston's square cafes prices! Atmosphere inside is still nice regarding coziness and design, but serving staff there is not making this place better definitely. Some sweets are swimming in sugar syrup not so good taste at the end. My choice is Pavlova! Just excellent! Wish your team to move forward to your customers needs first of all, as this is a key to succees in business.

Great local bakery with amazingly friendly owner! Elena even gave us a bunch of flowers saying we were the first tourists of the year. It’s such a pity that the cheese pies were all sold out when we came at lunchtime - on the other hand it means they’re very popular. You should definitely come earlier for it!

It was a pleasure to have breakfast in this Bakery. We tasted both sweet and savory and it was all delicious. The owner is kind and very helpful.

If you love a breakfast or lunch, love tasty, flavour some food and if you are anyway adventurous, Elena's is the place to go, amazing food, amazing Coffee, staff are so nice and even gave us different arrangement to taste and try, It is by far the nicest Bakery we tried in the area, loads of parking across the road, small outdoor dining area but worth the wait, If the owner started a delivery service for the food and Coffee I'd say it would grow the business immensely

Elena is a very sweet and hospitable person! Her shop has a good variety of sweet and savoury baked goods such as the spinach/feta pie and apple pie! The coffee is also very good and the best thing about the shop is that it is 100% local! Elena also gave us a few bites of cake and sweet pastry to try and also recommended us places to go on our visit to Zakynthos. Highly recommended for daily bread/pastry and morning coffees. Prices are very cheap and worth it! Thank you Elena, with love from Malta 😉👍👍

Elena is the sweetest person ever. Extremely good/delicious bakery with a variaty of local pastry options and great coffee! Specially fantastic service. Really recommended, specially if you're on your way to Zakynthos airport as it's only 5mins away. Elena can recommend take away traditional pastries as food inside the airport is over-priced.

If you are in Zakynthos and did not visit Elena’s Bakery you have waste your vacation. Not only she has the best breakfast, but she can give you advice where to go, what you can see and where you can eat, she is the most welcoming person that I have ever seen. Definitely try the chocolate croissant, cheese pie and pizza.

Nice cafe in the heart of Zakynthos town. Elena was attentive & made us feel welcomed. Lovely pastries & sweets to try. She was kind enough to give us a free box of authentic Greek biscuits after learning that we recently got married & was here on our honeymoon ☺️.

Cute little cafe with lots of sweets and a few savoury snacks... excellent coffee!!! The baklava is also great. They also have a shady sitting area right on the beach. Great place to take a break from the sun!

Fantastic place to go, highly recommend the iced coffee's with a range of extra yummy cakes. I loved the cheese pie and the strawberry cheesecake. The hospitality it's sooo good. So friendly and welcoming. It has a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Good choice of music too. We've been in every day of our holiday. I would recommend you give it a try!!

This place is such an amazing find. Laura was so kind and served us basis our requirements. The dark chocolate almond bites are delicious and so were their homemade ice creams. The prices are so fair and nominal. The seating is wide that they even have some tables across the beach. Clean Toilet facilities are very much appreciated. Thanks and we would come back again

I have critics about waiter in this cafe: We ordered 1 spinach pie , 1 ham cheese pie , 2 Americano and one orange juice . Waiter said OK , then she brought 2 Americano first and we started enjoying our coffee but then she brought 2 ham cheese pie saying that orange juice and spinach pie were finished already. We should have been informed about that before we had our coffees since my wife is vegan so that we could decide to leave and find another place. At the end she waited for me to finish my ham cheese pie and we continue to find another place for her. Good point is that ham Chinese pie was delicious.

Lovely restaurant with fantastic food, wonderfully friendly staff and great views of the harbour. We highly recommend the shrimp orzo! Definitely come here! It was the best meal I had in Meganisi.

I sail in the Ionian area for almost 10 years. I love Meganisi for its charm, Greek spirit and authenticity. Unfortunately this one was, by far the most awful experience I ever had. All dishes below average quality, for Monte Carlo pricing. The taverna was not here in 2024 and hopefully it will not be in 2026 . I wish I had not visited this place, terrible mistake.

great pastries and coffee in the morning. we also went for dinner, and so happy we did! delicious food. we got salad, octopus carpaccio (amazing!), prawns with orzo, and the bbq bacon burger. all very good. desserts also amazing. will visit every time we're in little vathy. thanks!!

This is a fantastic restaurant. They serve very tasty food and offer a large selection of dishes. They also have a phenomenal desert range! Highly recommend to all.

Very nice place on the first sight, cosy and right at the sea. Welcoming and smiley lady was serving us and we were very much looking forward to enjoying a delicious dinner despite of hight prices, we didn’t care at all. What a disproportion with the quality of our meals. The underaverage tzatziki and a Greek salad covered with balsamico toping (? ok, they wrote it’s their “own style”) as a starter was a first warning sign, however we gave it a second chance with the mains. Calamari were just okeyish, same like cold seafood mix plate. The biggest disapointment came with the Dover sole, super heavy dish with the fish literally soaked in oil, sided with mayo which didn’t really help. Due to a huge hunger we ate part of it and fed the cats with the rest. They seemed happy unlike us:) Not our cup of tea cuisine or maybe just a bad day for the cook.

Absolutely wonderful place with some great pastries, and super nice service. We came back for every breakfast of our stay in Corfu. Btw the Freddo cappuccino here is unlike anything I have had in Greece

This place was fantastic, a mix of everything from pastries, oven meals, fancy cakes, fresh waffles, slushies and sandwiches. Paninis and cibatta bread raided €6-9. Set waffle cobbles were around €7.50-8.50, you can create your own and add toppings. I saw ppl come in and buy celebration cakes, so that is also a service here. There also have Dilmah English breakfast tea with milk which is rare in Corfu. Latte was very good €3.20 then also do freddo which is the cold version. Don't recommend the cake slices as they tasted stale also the red velvet labelled cake was actually raspberry which is very thoughtless due to allergies. Tiramasu cake was very dense and not fresh. Sandwiches were left for hours till got bought. When I asked for a fresh made one they were like only if they aren't in the window. Not good when the mayo or salmon is sitting there. Toilets aren't cleaned regularly. Broken lock on door. Otherwise the manager was helpful when a storm hit and we needed to call a cab

Lovely staff, very vibrant and amazing food!

This is one of those fancy bakeries that you visit in Greece and are a bit worried about what things are going to cost, but I was unexpectedly surprised we were served immediately and told to have a seat a waitress brought our tea (I know weird for Greece ,I should have been drinking coffee) and frappé, as well as the biggest chocolate croissant and butter croissant I have seen the tea was served in a pot with both sugar and honey, it's those little extras that make the difference. The only weird thing was that you pay the waitress and you need to grab her attention if it's busy, but an amazing way to spend half an hour and people watch. Will definitely visit again.

I cannot praise Nostos enough. Perfect for grabbing a quality sandwich/roll on the way to the airport. The premises are always immaculate, the staff always friendly and the cakes and rolls are always delicious - reasonably priced too. Try their orange cake! If I could award more than 5 stars, I would.

We have had a great afternoon with Costa in his Costas Coffee. We would like to thank him because of his very nice and great service. This is a really great place to visit, drink a delicious coffee and eat a great food! If you visit Zakynthos, you shoud not miss this place. They have absolutelly perfect croissants with chocolate!!! :-)

We indulged in two incredible desserts! The Pan Chocolate was amazing - rich, decadent, and utterly delicious! And the baklava was fantastic - crispy, nutty, and perfectly sweet! A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth! Lovely bakery with great prices - we can't wait to come back and try more treats!

Absolutely loved this place. Great service and best iced latte I had on my holiday. We visited twice and had pastries the first time which were amazing. On our second visit, we had the bagels and baguette lunches which were beautiful. I would highly recommend.

AMAZING coffee! We ordered a Freddo espresso, iced caramel latte, and baklava. The coffee was of great quality, and the iced latte was perfect (great balance of milk, coffee, and sweetness). The baklava was a nice large portion (great for sharing) and had a delicious cinnamon touch. We'll be back!

The place to get coffee and something to bite with it. Lots of selection. Sweet, salty, ice cream, coffee, bread. Everything was fresh and good. Ice cream was creamy and silky smooth. Visited multiple times now and some years ago. This is the place where locals go.

Great bakery, reasonably priced and food is lovely! Have taken away and also eaten here, both experiences were good. Have now visited Tsilivi twice and have definitely been a fair few times. Highly recommend

Great bakery, we visited it several times during our stay. Try the orange pie, chocolate croissants, chicken sandwich and espresso, all were very nice. Fast and kind service at a central location.

I was very friendly inquiring if they had anything gluten-free and they said no, even the owner who sat outside said no, then when I asked about specific products they agreed yes, they were gluten-free (florentines). The staff even insisted that the chocolate had gluten, really???. Not everyone chooses their no gluten lifestyle, it is necessary for health. Please educate yourself and staff.

I have a sweet tooth so we had to check out this famous bakery during our stay in Kefalonia. We tried the pistachio and the white and dark chocolate baklava, which were great, as well as the orange pie, which lives up to its praise. The prices are good.

We tried Spathis Bakery in the morning before leaving Kefalonia. The Kefalonia meat pie (kreatopita) and chocolate croissant tasted great but were both completely dried out from sitting for hours under a heat lamp (strangely so as we visited in the mid-morning). We had to discard the crust of the meat pie because it was so hard to chew. Would have loved to try things fresh but unfortunately we won't be back.

Horrid place - avoid. Flies and mosquitos all over the food, literally covered in bugs. When you walk past at night you can see all sorts crawling over the food as nothing is covered. The slob behind the counter picking her nose whilst making coffee was too much for me. My mate gave her €5 for his coffee and she put it in her pocket and then stuck her finger up at him when he asked for his change. I won’t eat food covered in bugs or drink coffee with someone touching the cup whose fingers had been up her nose. Her uniform was covered in dirt.

Terrible bakery....this is the second time I have ordered a cake in advance for a birthday celebration & both times the cake has not been at the bakery for me to collect. I will never use this bakery again....the staff don't know what they are doing & absolutely ridiculous service

It is self-service and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Very affordable prices, for 3 super-yummy mini-cakes , a Cappuccino and a frappe I paid 5.20€. They have free wifi, you just have to ask for the password. They have a big variety of cakes , cookies, also home-made ice-cream. It is worth at least a visit.

Very good position, right in the middle of the main street of the port with a good view to the bay. The bakery products are diversed, good and fresh. The cofee is also good. The service for the bakery is very prompt but the two girls who serve in the morning are not very kind and eager to present the products they sell....They also have ice cream that I tried one of the evenings and it was very good. The boy who serve the icecream was very kind and helpful.

Nice little cafe, right by the harbour. One of the best coffees in the island. Variety of cookies and cake selections, we tried few of them and all were very tasty.

Visited this place daily when I was in Agia Efimia. Good coffee, wide range of pastries (the apple croissant was delicious) and opens early - nice to grab a coffee and find a spot to watch the sunrise. Thank you!

I’m so glad we discovered Messaris. The coffee was amazing, we went there every day for 9 days before heading to the beach. The traditional biscuits were delicious, but the real highlight was the staff: incredibly friendly, always helpful, and eager to offer great suggestions. I’ll definitely be back when I return to Kefalonia. Thank you for making my mornings brighter and my vacation even more special with your warm atmosphere.

We came here for a dessert every day! The baklava and custard pie are amazing. Their pastries are so good too, highly recommend. The ladies that work there are lovely too 🥰

Bakery has the best bread in all of Skala. They also have delicious pastries and sandwiches. There are two different bakeries close to each other, but Bakery is the best. Located next to the Arte Italiano gelato shop. So don’t be confused and go to the other one!! We go for a fresh loaf nearly every day. Our favorite is the brown bread with the oats on top. But we also like the white with sesame and their sourdough is also fantastic. They are even open on Sundays, but only have fresh white and white with sesame bread on Sundays. I absolutely recommend. When in Skala - go to Bakery!

Wonderful bakery that became our breakfast haunt most mornings before hitting the beach. Spinach pie and sugar donuts both excellent, very friendly couple run the place. They offer an airport box with cookies, water, a savoury and sweet baked good for €9. As with most places in Greece portions are very generous but would reccomend getting there early as popular items do sell out.

We come to Kefalonia for a holiday. We were just walking around and we found this amazing bakery shop! Soon as we stepped in the atmosphere was amazing and so welcoming! First we brought some almond cake, sugar donut and some custard pie- it was so fresh and delicious! The second time We went back we had some delicious ice cream! And the third time we brought the almond cake again and some cherry chocolate cup it was all freshly made and sooo delicious! Thank you soo much! I wish I could come here 1x a week For some fresh pastries.

Delicious fresh bread. We visited in May 2022 as well as the year before and bakery goods were superb both times. We bought loaves of bread, soft rolls and best of all was their olive bread which was like a flattened roll. Super tasty.
