Tried the apple strudel and poppyseed plum strudel. The pastry itself is very good - thin but robust. The apple one was nice, but there was additional filling and the texture of the nuts inside was not to my taste. The poppyseed one tasted too bitter and too sweet to the extent I didn't want to finish it. The young lady who served me was nice. Overall it was OK - overrated and overpriced.

I came to this place because they were supposed to have gluten free strudel. They did not. They only have one gluten free bread. The normal strudel was fine, but it is served without any sauce (it costs extra). 10€ for one plain strudel and a piece of bread is not fine.

we went here because in the menu it said that there are gluten-free cakes and strudel and also vegan strudel. I’m celiac so I was quite excited, but there sadly weren’t any gluten-free strudel, which was okay tho because they had gluten-free cake. Sadly I’ve never eaten such a bad cake so I was quite disappointed (also not cheap, one pice of gluten-free cake was 6.40). The not gluten-free options that my friends are were really good tho, the vegan option as well. So if you look for gluten-free food I can’t recommend it, otherwise it’s nice.

It is a small place so it can be packed real quick but we got lucky and got a table outside. Inside is small and when it’s full of people the air can be bad. So I recommend the outside seating where you can see the beautiful street of Innsbruck old city. The coffee was ohkay but the strudel was really tasty!

It was very very tasty!!!! Very big choice of strudels, as sweet as salt. I try classic with apple and with rhabarber. We will return for sure because we need to try a lot of things more! And the staff is very fast and kind!

The price on vitrine (5.80) was different when we sat for order (6.40). I assumed it was because of the service. Overall, was good, however the taste could be better, considering the price.

This place has a wide variety of the famous Austrian Desserts & food options. We tried the Sacher Torte and Apple Strudel with vanilla sauce and both the desserts were nice. It's a cozy place located on the Maria Theresa Street next to the Golden Roof so the environment is quite vibrant and lively.

Charming coffee spot with good service and a cozy atmosphere. The selection of pastries and desserts was inviting, and the cappuccino melange was smooth and flavorful. It’s a lovely place to stop by and recharge during the day. The wooden interior, complemented by elegant chandeliers, gives it a warm and slightly vintage feel. Definitely worth a visit.

To me it seems a little bit overrated but don’t get me wrong it has great decoration and the food is okay. The wait could be frustrating. I didn’t have to because my friend was there before I arrive but I saw so many people waiting and I think it could take 30 minutes for them to seat.

Nice atmosphere. One of the oldest cafe. Served with nice cutlery. We had breakfast there. Order large breakfast, small breakfast and a egg benedict. Price is on the high side. Good served warm 🫰.

Café Schwarzenberg is a beautiful and historic café with a classic Viennese atmosphere. The coffee and pastries were excellent, and the staff were polite and professional despite being quite busy. During my visit, I did notice a couple of disgruntled customers who had a complaint and were ultimately given their meal for free. As I was leaving, one of them even joked loudly that she’d “try complaining every time” to get free meals, which was a bit surprising. That said, my own experience was very pleasant. The service was attentive, and the quality of food and drink was wonderful. I’d still recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy an authentic Viennese experience.

Had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely lovely, each dish was a delight, soup was a bit salty. What really made the evening special was our waiter, Mike. He was incredibly polite, kind, and had a great sense of humor. Mike's exceptional service truly enhanced our dining experience. A big thank you to Mike for making our visit so memorable!

The food at this café was delicious. We tried several dishes and particularly enjoyed the Wiener Schnitzel and the spinach and cheese strudel. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided excellent customer service. Café Schwarzenberg is the oldest café on Vienna's Ringstrasse. There is a piano in the corner, and they offer free live music.

Badly received! I was with my big kids and a dog yesterday 39th August 2025 between 9:30 and 10 AM, for a breakfast. I asked politely to the server: is the dog allowed ? he gave me a dirty reply “ dog is allowed but not you!’ I could have turned by back and left but I didn’t react , I said so funny way to greet a client. Above all they needed tips . I gave them but not high tips anyway. For sure I will never step in there. Arrogant people. Then only guy smiling was an Indian guy i suppose with a steel bangle. The others no smile , how can they recruit people so arrogant. I can recruit better ones for them!!! It is a shame. 🥵 attitude has to change we are in the 22st century!!!

Very busy little coffee shop but with plenty of seating available. The menu is mostly coffee and 3 or so breakfast or lunch items and some cakes available from the front area. The service was not very friendly or welcoming but was fast and efficient. We had Apfelstrudel wich was sadly not my taste. They have clean toilets on the first floor.

I love this pastry shop. It's a small place, but really nice. I ate a cake that was like a brownie with mango mousse on top and it was very tasty. I think it's the best place in Innsbruck if you want to try some sweet treats and enjoy your day there.

Delicious hot chocolate !! They bring you hot milk and a big chocolate ball you dunk in the milk plus delicious fresh cream. We tried three different cake and all three were delicious. Just remember CASH ONLY !!!

Had a great time at Cafe Munding, an iconic cafe at Innsbruck, Austria. Cash only for some reason . No credit cards. Amazing confectionery and excellent coffee . Service is a tad slow perhaps it’s a very busy place. Very memorable

Atmosphere was really nice but we couldnt find a seat. I was craving hot chocolate so i went to get it here as it was well reviewed. However, i did not enjoy the hot chocolate. If you’re a fan of rich hot chocolate that resembles molten chocolate - thick and rich and tastes like melted chocolate with some milk/cream, then the hot chocolate from here isnt for you! The hot chocolate from here tastes more like milo + milk. Or cocoa powder with milk and sugar rather than melted chocolate in milk. Kind of like swissmiss made with cream/whipped cream. The taste of milk and sugar is more overpowering than that of chocolate. So if you’re someone who doesnt like dark chocolate or hot chocolate that is too rich, this will be up your alley!

The oldest coffee place in Innsbruck and a must visit! The cakes are simply delightful. AND: everything is 100 % vegetarian (no gelatin)... and a lot of glutenfree options. Friendly staff and nice old-fashioned interior! A perfect place for breakfast or an afternoon coffee, just wow.

Oldest cafe in Innsbruck and it’s decor is definitely very classic. The cakes are pretty and nice, but the soup is just average. Service is good and the place is often crowded. Worth a visit for coffee as it has a very impressive menu. We also liked their hot chocolate.

A very beautiful cafe in heart of Innsbruck. They have variety of drinks to choose from and desserts too. They have plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. The staff is very friendly. We took there inhouse made dessert and really liked it.

Disgusting serving of strudel, ice cream is additionally included in the bill. Average quality strudel. Ordered 2 teapots of tea, extra charge for each empty cup. Bank cards are not accepted. Waiters did not warn about anything in advance. Then they looked away. I do not recommend spoiling the impression of the city by visiting this place.

Beautiful place to chill or having some sweets. Cakes look amazing. The ice cream tasted so good too! Especially the pistachio ice cream. But for the banana split, the banana wasn’t sweet, it would be great if it was sweet. Overall a lovely experience to dine there. Lovely and friendly service as well

Bad interaction with waiter. 4 of us ordered 2 pastries and wanted to order one more after we finished. The waiter was inflexible and rude - he insisted we order some drinks. There were some empty tables so we are not sure why he had to insist. This felt unwelcome so we left.

A must when visiting Innsbruck. It’s the oldest café in the city, with a traditional and classic interior that is both spectacular and welcoming at the same time. We went for breakfast and were impressed by the huge variety of options, from more than ten types of coffee to pastries, as well as hot breakfast dishes like eggs or bacon. The food is delicious, the coffee excellent, and the portions just right. Prices are very competitive and the service is fast and efficient. Without a doubt, my favorite spot in Innsbruck to have breakfast or enjoy a good coffee.

We had a quiet lovely morning here. We took simple ordinary breakfast, so couldn’t really recommend any food, but we enjoyed our time here. The staff was also kind. We just noticed that some tables weren’t served promptly.

I visited Café Central to try their desserts and ordered the Kaiserschmarrn and the apple pie. The apple pie was disappointing. On top of that, the staff were not friendly at all. Overall, it was far below my expectations.

Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The service was poor, with staff that appeared inattentive and unprofessional. The place was not clean, and our table was never cleared after the previous guests. The atmosphere was also unpleasant – there was no music, only constant noise coming from the kitchen, which made the environment tiring. As for the desserts, they were simply reheated in a microwave rather than freshly prepared, which felt unacceptable for a café. Overall, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in such a place, and I truly regret it.

As soon as I sat down I was made to feel uncomfortable and rushed. The staff put a receipt on my table immediately, which put me off. The cake was stale and you can tell it was not fresh as the whipped cream tasted off and the pastry was old. When I got ready to leave and pay, an older waitress almost flew to my table to 'ensure' I would pay. No trust in customers for no reason = no repeat customers for a reason. No card payments and almost 10 euros less in my pockets...never to return.

If you're a fan of delicious chocolate and cakes, then Cafe-konditorei Valier in Innsbruck is a must-visit. The cakes and chocolates are simply amazing, with a wide variety of flavors and styles to choose from.

After our Sound of Music tour, we were so happy to find Café Tomaselli right in the middle of St. Stephen’s Square. This place is charming and filled with energy, and we found a balcony seat on the second floor — perfect for people-watching! We had kombucha tea, passion fruit soda, and apple strudel, all light and refreshing. Service was friendly, though there’s no AC, so it can get warm on hot days. Still, a great spot to recharge and soak in Salzburg’s historic vibe.

Great location at a beautiful, historic cafe. Our group enjoyed a traditional breakfast of eggs, pastries, and coffee. Wish the service was friendlier. We ordered three omelets with cheese (no ham) and one plain omelet. When server arrived with two omelets that had ham, getting two of our orders wrong, he tried to argue with us over the error.

Atmosphere was great. Very historic. Unfortunately we had to tell our waiter to clean the table after we had sat. Other than that service was fast. The tiramisu cake was delicious and so was the coffee.

I’d go for the vibes. The cafe takes you to another century, and it was especially interesting to go in the early morning as there are actually locals enjoying their coffee before work. As for the cakes we had the apple strudel and another one but it wasn’t mind blowing, nor the cappuccino.

This is a famous café in Salzburg, packed with people. Its most special items are the Mozart almond milk and the musical note cake! Enjoying a lovely afternoon tea in such an artistic atmosphere was truly wonderful and romantic 🥰

Centrally located in Vienna town. It claimed to serve the 'best coffee and cakes' but we didn't think so. The fruit smoothy I got was tasteless, felt it was made with water and not juice. Price is reasonable though. Service staff is attentive and got a sense of humour, otherwise I would have rated this a 1-star place.

Once we discovered this lovely cafe, it became our morning tradition! The Vienna melange and Bircher muesli were our favorites! The waitstaff are superb. This place is supposed to be a ‘low cost alternative’ to caffès like Cafe Central, Landtman…. However, the price was almost the same as in more iconic places and you even have to pay to go to the toilet despite having consumed in the Café. The coffees were good but de Kaiserschmarrn was nothing highlightable (I’d recommend to taste others like Demel’s as you’ll get better quality and experience)

Mozart Torte was normal taste 5/10. Aida Melange 6/10. Cappuccino 6/10. Service was good. Atmosphere was good. Prices little bit higher. Deserve : 6 out of 10.

The true Viennese atmosphere is here. For a coffee or a breakfast all day is good. Recommend this place 100%. You have to walk a bit outside the city centre but it’s worth it. Reasonable price and good food. Coffee is very good. Better to book a table, queue is often but it moves quick.

Absolutely brilliant experience. I came here from a review to enjoy "classic Vienna cafe experience". And I think I got exactly that! The place was nice, with the furniture and layout feeling very authentic. Around us were local people. Having their morning coffee and reading newspaper. The coffee, pastry and egg sausage were all great. Highly recommend the Sperl chocolate cake! We went there at around 9AM, and no wait time needed however around 30' later there was already a waiting line formed. Highly recommend this place!

An absolute treasure! Stepping inside is like traveling back in time, as the beautiful, true architecture has been impeccably preserved, offering a genuinely authentic and premium Viennese coffee house experience. In my trip to Vienna last month, I tried their legendary chocolate cake and coffee. The cake was sublime, and the coffee was perfectly brewed. The experience was elevated even further by the truly kind and attentive staff.

Though located slightly further from city center, the price per portion was much better than some of the other cafes. Staff was also very friendly, and gave us the choice of where to sit, instead of immediately deciding for us. The weiner schnitzel was succulent and wasn't too filling, which was great, as it allowed room for a cup of coffee and dessert. The included potato salad is my personal favorite from all the restaurants I've eaten - there isn't as much acidity, and much "smoother" to eat. It's so good that I could eat just the salad as a main dish. The apple strudel was also excellent. Instead of apple chunks, the pie was layered with thin apple slices. The sourness of the apples combined with the whipped cream were a perfect match. Despite my short stay in Vienna, this is definitely my go to place the next time I return.

I really wanted to try one of the traditional cafes in Vienna, and this is the one we chose. It was really nice in the inside, probably with the same decor since when it opened, but it had a lot of charm. The Sperl Torte was really delicious and both coffees were great too. Service was very good and slow, as expected. :-) I can imagine the "slow living" they are famous for.

I’ve been cafe-hopping around Vienna, and Cafe Sperl truly stands out — the food quality here is far more delicious than many other popular spots. Tucked away in a quaint corner, it feels like a hidden gem beloved by locals. I didn’t bump into any other tourists during my visit. The staff are lovely, and the place exudes a peaceful old-world charm and timeless elegance. I wish I lived in Vienna so I could come back more often. Thank you for such a wonderful experience — and as a bonus, it’s one of the filming locations from Before Sunrise, which adds a touch of movie magic to the visit!

We went without a reservation and managed to get in after waiting for about 5–10 minutes. Since the place was very crowded, the waiters weren’t really attentive, and we had to make quite an effort to get their attention. I think it’s highly overrated; the desserts and coffees were pretty average, but the prices definitely weren’t. We went mainly for the atmosphere, and it ended up being a nice memory for my birthday.

A more upscale version of Viennese cafe but we feel that the decor is very dated. Went here for dinner - reservation for 8pm but able to come early and be seated an hour early. Vienna reservation system relies on phone and we realized that availability can be hit and miss. Places can be ‘full’ but empty when we got there. Anyway ordered the goulash and trout. Both were great, ordered the palatschinken dessert with liquored coffee. Both are top notch especially the coffee.

Really good Service, I know it should be expected from a hotel like this, but out of experience it's not always the case! We came spontaneous as a group of 8 people and could find a place in the bar area after waiting some time! The bar personell was friendly and welcoming! The only minus point I could say, is that I find it strange to not be able to talk the local language (German) with the waiters employees, but that is not substracted from the rating! All in all it was a really nice evening! We will come again!

I'm glad they had two vegan options for dessert. They have no vegan lunch options. The chocolate mousse is delicious. The banana muffin was overcooked and chewy. The ginger tea was 11 euros but it was a quality tea so I could see why it was more expensive. It was worth experiencing once but I wouldn't come back.

Unfortunately, our visit to this café was marred by a racist experience. The hostess seemed displeased to see us, and with an air of glee, informed us that a reservation was required. However, another host eventually seated us. We had a long drive earlier that morning at the speedway and after checking into our beautiful hotel decided to try this elegant café. We eagerly anticipated excellent service and exceptional classic Viennese coffee service and dessert. Sadly, the service fell short of our expectations, and we won't be returning.

Fantastic food in an impressive traditional style hotel. Wiener Schnitzel is defitnitely a great choice. So light and full and flavour. Recommend booking first and lunchtime is a good option as not to busy. Evenings tend to be very busy as it's not to far from the Opera House. Great selection of deserts to.

The Sacher Cafe in Vienna is probably one of the most famous cafes in the world, it is nice to have one in Graz. The atmosphere was excellent, employees were very nice and kind. I ordered Vienna Ice Coffee and the Sacher torte, both were really nice. I can not say the best I tried but they were nice, of course much better than average. Also the price is very high too, keep in mind that you are paying mostly for the atmosphere. Although expensive, I can suggest the experience.

The cafe is located right in the heart of Graz historic part. It is famous for its Sacher cake that is sold in Vienna. The cafe is very cozy, clean and neat. It is mostly attended by local senior citizens, therefore not the most youth oriented place. The famous Sacher torte is offered there along many other options on the menu. The cake I had was a bit dry, I would have expected a more moist dough. It felt to that is was not the freshest one. Not all staff speaks English. As per the prices, they are quite high. For a tiny piece of cake and a small latte I paid 11 Euros. I think it was way overpriced.

I think the Sacher Torte here is overrated. The cake body is a bit too dry, and I don’t find the balance between chocolate and apricot. I’m also disappointed with the service. maybe too many costumers and not enough staffs. Other than that, the chococino is good.

The famous Café Sacher (est. 1832) you might know from Vienna, located on the opposite of the Wiener Staatsoper, the renowned Vienna Opera House. But for several years there is also a Café Sacher here in Graz. It is one of the few grand cafés in this students town. The location of the Café Sacher in Graz is in the Herrengasse, Graz’ main street. So from here you are in every part of the old town within a few minutes by foot. The entry of the Sacher at the Herrengasse is already quite elegant and hard to miss with all its splendor. You either stay in the part of the Sacher directly at the Herrengasse or you go through a long hallway into the rear part, where it is more comfortable and also tables for dining are set. The staff is very friendly and the opening hours are nice every day till 21:00, except Sunday (18:00). The rear part is my favorite, with its comfy benches and splendid interior. You might think now, that I took a Sacher Torte, this very special tart. Far from it! I took a Kleiner Brauner (literally: small brown one), this small coffee with milk, famous all across Austria, together with a Moccaeclair, an éclair filled with mocca…yummy. Having had this in that kind of interior is really a special experience, since the elegant decoration of the Sacher blends in with the delicious dessert and coffee. From Graz with Love! So disappointed with here after reading the reviews . I ordered the Swiss sausage salad. It was terrible and I was still very hungry after it . It was like they got “ sausage “ and cheese for Lidl supermarket and threw it all together . I felt I was eating just ham and cheese. Considering the price , I was expecting more . The bread came with no butter .

Amazing place to make a pitstop on your hike to Nordkette! We stopped for a much required (and highly deserved!) hot chocolate and it was EVERYTHING! The views definitely do not disappoint 😻

Nice to stop to eat or drink something with a wonderful view during hiking around Innsbruck! The staff is able to speak both German and English, and they also offer English menus if you need, which is something quite good for a restaurant that is far away from the city. Payment with card is also possible, which is another plus. There is also a small playground for children. I preferred to eat something light. Therefore, I ordered „Linseneintopf mit Almbrot“ (lentil stew with Alpine bread) and it was so tasty! 🤤 Next time, I want to try something more traditional when I have longer time to eat. This time, I had to hurry because I had not much time to go back to the city before the sunset. I mean do not keep your expectations high about how it looks

I saw this place on Google map and since it had a high rating I decided to go with my family members. We went there when the place opened up so there was no queue and we could sit down right away. We had a baby but the restaurant has a child seat so it was no problem. The service was nice and the staffs were friendly towards us. The only sad thing was the food quality. The bread, and the eggs I had… well really nothing special. It was just like something anyone can cook and prepare. The cheesecake also tasted like the ones at any other standard cafes. There was no food or drink that stood out that could make us want to come back. After all I was puzzled as to why this place has such high rating… The interior atmosphere of the place is quite cosy though.

Hiked up here and stayed the night. The hosts, and especially Patrick were incredibly friendly, serving up excellent Austrian cuisine. The cots are clean and well equipped for the cold, and the view is as incredible at night as during the day. A must!

Fabulous mountain alm high in the Nordkette. Be careful in winter conditions as avalanches can happen around it. Otherwise it is a great place to visit. I can only assume that food and drink is the same as other alms (good); as each time i have been it has been closed. Nice little church just up the slope from it.

I went for the Afternoon Tea as a gift with my Mom. The Vegan Afternoon Tea was amazing, the scones were very authentic and reminded me of the ones I got in London. Everything was great and it was a very sweet experience. I would recommend it.

I went there for lunch with friends. Ordered schnitzel and Caesar salad all food was great. We also ordered a cake from the restaurant, it wasn’t all that much it was too sweet and many layers inside cost us about 50€. The waiters were really nice and helpful.

My friend booked the tickets online for the concert on September 7th and there was a dinner for two at this restaurant… only five minutes away from the golden hall. We were late but thankfully there was enough time to get our tickets & enjoy the diner. We had a great time here and impressed by the food. Love the salad and the main course (I picked fish)… too full for the dessert and sorry I couldn’t finish it. Mr Beauer is a true gentleman and thank you for the great service. We bought a Mozart concert ticket that comes with dinner here at Bristols - it’s just the right amount of portion of food you want before attending a concert (you don’t want to be too full right before a concert!) It was my worst experience ever. I left my luggage including a bag with my laptop at the reception after check-out (9:25AM). I ask lady at the reception whether I can do it or not. She told me: yes, of course, you can put it here (under staircase). This place was located 2.5. meters from reception, just in front of the reception. In my opinion, the staff didn´t do their job properly since the reception was in most cases empty so that nobody was taking care about luggage of their guests!!! This was Austrian hospitality in practice. I lost my computer for at least 500 EUR. If you don´t want to lose your valuables, definitely avoid this guesthouse!!! They just need your money. However, responsibility is unknown word for them. Never more!!! This true story happened on the 1st of July 2016.

Just consider that Sacher Cafè is not properly a cheap place, indeed is quite expensive: the average cost of a breakfast for example, is obviously higher than other bars, but it's worth it, for the experience of tasting this typical dessert in the most suggested Cafè of this city. One of the oldest coffee/pastry shops of Salzburg, and the inventors of the Mozartkugel. If you have a sweet tooth it’s a must visit when in Salzburg. Located on one of the picturesque central streets, it offers an ambience of the 19th century as you enter the shop. They offer a wide variety of tasty sweets, so go crazy in trying things out, but definitely save a spot for the famous Mozartkugel.

I relaxed and soaked in the old-world charm of the café while digging into a slice of chocolate cake and sipped on coffee. Much to the LO frustration, there was no WiFi, so he sat there thoroughly bored! I picked up several of their beautifully wrapped Mozartkugeln to take home as gifts (and, let’s be honest, for myself). I polished them off far too quickly! Sadly, they weren’t to the OH’s taste - but more for me, I suppose.

I visited this restaurant on August 3 morning and there were three groups waiting for a table. I was second in line. After seating the first group, the young waiter didn’t acknowledge me or ask about my group. Instead, he asked the group behind me how many people they had . The third group gentleman kindly reminded the young waiter that I should be served. I felt ignored and disrespected as a customer. This left a negative impression of the restaurant's service. I hope the management can improve their process and treat all guests fairly.

While it is on the pricier side, the food and in particular the cakes are really fantastic, the place is very nice and the scenery is beyond amazing. We are currently staying in the apartments. There is everything you need in the apartment. It is very spacious, lounge/dining, main bedroom,bed is very comfortable, bathroom, toilet,and kitchen. Right in the centre of Sankt Johann. I would highly recommend staying in the apartments and eating in the cafe. Forgot to mention the cakes they are delicious.

We've had lunch at this amazing restaurant, which is also a hotel/resort. It seemed expensive at first sight, but then realized it was actually pretty affordable compared to most restaurants in this area. Right after we sat at a table outside, a waitress came and asked where are we from, gave us menus, etc. We chose food and the waitress knew how to tell when we were ready to order. And after only 15 minutes of waiting, we got our food. The food was tasty, and we were being checked on and asked if everything was alright. Basically, I really recommend this restaurant to anyone who is nearby, and will definitely return if I'll be in the area once again 😁

The 180° Restaurant has a great view of the Zugspitze in Austria, you can sit with a good view of the mountain and outside with a great view. The food is very delicious and our plates were lovely served. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere appear uptown. The menu is a little bit small, but there have some special food days with extra dishes. The price is very upper, so I must pay 21€ for handmade Spaghetti with Pesto and a bit duck breast stripes. All in all 5 stars because the meal was wonderful.

We had a very nice stay at the Hotel Gotthard in Lech and would go back again. Pros - very friendly staff, especially the breakfast staff. Nice to have a good German/Austria restaurant in the hotel and a bakery too. Clean and large rooms (we had a double with a separate seating area). Convenient location for walking to the ski lifts and to other restaurants and shops in town. Cons - depending on where you are in the buildings, you may not have good WiFi. We didn't have great (sometimes any) WiFi in our room. Parking is off premises, which is ok if you're not using your car for anything.

Dreamy is how I would describe my experience. All the different activities that are offered, the nice and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel and the staff, to the dining options in the hotel all come together to create a fantastic time for you and your loved ones.

A wonderful few days staying at this outstanding hotel. The staff , service, food and wellness ammenities were second to none. I dropped my credit card in the hall and the room service team handed it in to reception which reflects all staff interactions i had. So central with only a few minutes walk to main gondola, lifts, restaurants and bars. A must stay.

Excellent hotel and facilities. Family run and we met the owners during a drinks reception. Great food and drinks. I love their beer brewed in the premises.

Amazing hotel in the center of Lech. A bakery and a restaurant are directly in the hotel. The underground parking garage is easy accessible, except if you have a huge SUV. The rooms are clean and lovely prepared. We had a room with balcony and mountain view. The staff is very nice and helpful. For $20 you can rent an ebike with helmet. The grocery shop SPAR is directly opposite of it and plenty of hiking tours start close to the hotel.

We just spent an incredible week at the Hotel Gotthard!.It could not have been any better! The accommodations were impeccable. In addition, a wonderful breakfast, including fresh breads from the in-house bakery, is offered each day. Besides the ultimate in relaxation, this hotel provides daily hiking tours and free use of "super" bikes to access the majestic areas in and around Lech. Thank you Nicole and Clemens!

We visited the restaurant and we were happy with the food and the service. They messed up our reservation but in the end it turned out well. Also we waited a bit too long for the fondue although you have to call in advance and schedule an exact appointment time. Overall it was good. We shall return there. Oh and their Omes beer selection is quite good as well.

In this place, there is a completely ridiculous rule: "if you buy ice cream, you're not allowed to sit at a table." My wife was waiting for the rest of the family to arrive and bought herself some ice cream. There are five of us, and we could easily have spent around €150 here, but she was forbidden to sit at a table with her ice cream. Friends, this is nonsense. You have a great café, but such an attitude towards customers is unacceptable.

Lovely coffee and excellent Apfelstrufel. I loved the hint of cloves. Even with the vanille sauce it was not to sweet.

Fantastic cakes, ice cream, coffee, tea and lunch or breakfast options. Lovely service, friendly staff, great location. Everything we tried, with two kids, was excellent.

Friendly and comfortable place, nice and polite staff, delicious cakes, great testing coffee. All this in addition to the calming roar of the small stream.

Not allowed to sit in the service area if you are having ice cream! Only on the bench!

We went to the cafe with my girlfriend, we bought ice cream but the rude woman whom was the owner of the cafe she said we cannot seat and have our ice cream there while everyone else was eating ice cream! Other people were allowed to stay seated. After several insolences on the part of the service staff we left. The most disrespectful owner ever I've ever seen!

I ended up in this cafe by accident and returned the next day to buy sweets for the New Year's table. All guests were delighted! Now this cafe is on my list of places must to visit in Zillertal!!!

If there is no star, I would rate it ! I will not mention coffee or sweets because the service ruined all the experience!! The service to Arabs is very bad, so racist especially from the waiter (Algerian or Tunisian, I'm not sure) We were a group of around 10 with kids,, we gave an order and one of the kids asked for an additional hot chocolate! And we were blamed to add to the order!! What service is that?? And then he was annoyed by the kids! Although the mess was minimal! Which is very, very normal!! When we asked to talk to the manager about his attitude, she never showed any care about our concerns and stood by him! Not recommended at all!

Nice served mango and strawberry ice cream scoops with waffel, friendly and kind Austrian bartender who knows about a little English and German speaker! As an Italian tourist from Rome, it's my first time in Austria! 😁🇦🇹

One of the friendliest cafés I've ever had the pleasure to visit. They have a wide variety of cake, specialty coffee, great salads, and sandwiches. I was amazed by the hospitality of the staff and authenticity of the konditorei.

We came to the Cafe as 2 families with total of 12 persons, we used 3 tables in the outdoor seating area, we placed our order all at once, later after getting all the food we just added 1 hot chocolate for one of our kids, when the male waiter brought it he said " Do you need anything else because I don't want to be going and coming more", this was surprise to us, we are 12 with kids so we might add something later, also it is his jop to do so and we are paying for that it is not free, anyway we told him it's ok we don't need anything more. Then we orderd the bill and while he was picking the food from table he complained about few bread crumps on the floor from the kids and we told him those are kids and they must at least drop few food on floor and he didn't like it (He is an arabic guy but from this we discovered he got something against us Arabs maybe), we requested the manager which was useless because she kept defending him and shockingly she said "our kids in Austria don't drop on the floor!!", as if our kids were jumping all over the place and throwing food intentionally and her kids are well mannered and I hope her comment is not racist against us because we respect all good Austrian people and we have friends in Austria, also it is an expensive cafe and we are paying for food and service, we paid around 96 euros for our 45 min. stay in this place after getting such bad service (and for an automatic machine coffee not barista machine which was normal), if the cafe will reply similar to the manager without even apologizing please dont bother to reply, if the real owners are reading this reply I am telling you to get your staff educated better about customer service because they don't have minimum knowledge about it, and you are wasting your money in such good facility and location, we have been to many cafes around the world and this is the first time to face such bad experience.

My daughters and I visited this coffee shop/bakery twice while visiting Ski Jewel this winter. They loved the lattes and the ambience was nice. We wouldn't hesitate to return in the future

We had breakfast here. The service was friendly and the food was as expected. It would be good to add a breakfast formula with only yogurt / muesli / fruits on the menu.

This is our first visit to Oberau, Austria. We went to Cafe Moorhof to have a nice coffee and cake. The cafe is small , max tables outside of 5 to 7. My wife got a nice seat outside while I went to an ATM to get cash. When I got back to the Cafe Moorhof my wife had two slices of cake in front of her. I asked her if she ordered coffee and tea, she responded, that she told the waitress to wait with the order until her husband (me) would return. I know the waitress saw me coming back, because she was serving all the other guest around. After waiting for 15 minutes, my wife decided to go inside and to tell the waitress again that we would like to make the order. After 10 min still nothing happens. So we decided to pay and leave and to tell the owner about poor service. What happened next was incredible. Instead of apologizing, she interrupted my wife with her loud voice embarrassing us(so all 15 people outside was able to hear and start staring ) that it is our fault. If we were suppose to go inside to order (which we actually did) why did the other people placed their order with the waitress outside. I can understand any kind of misunderstanding. But I also know that the only what you can say to the client in this case is “Sorry for any inconvenience”. I work in the customer service industry, and I know that you do not embarrass a guest in front of other guest. If there is a misunderstanding you try to make things right. So , to the owner of this cafe, if this is your business style with customer service by rudely embarrassing them, good luck with your business. You are not getting my money anymore. Even if there are only one cafe in this area it is doesn’t mean that you can allow yourself to be so rudely to tourist. For all future guest, stay away from Cafe Moorhof with all cost because of bad service and rude management.

Bad food and bad customer service (the owner was very rude to us). Don't waist you time or money, there are amazing places in Söll that deserves more attention.
