Our wedding cake was so perfect!! Carly was really lovely from our first consultation to helping us decide flavours and design. We loved having three different delicious flavours and Carly had so many options to choose from. Everyone said how great it tasted, and they all went back for more! The white buttercream was so impressively smooth and looked so striking against the flowers, which were positioned perfectly to tie in to our decor. We had the beautiful cake on full view the whole day, with lots of people wanting photos with us and the cake! Our cake cutting photos are also so wonderful. Thank you so much Carly for making a perfectly beautiful and delicious cake for our special day!

We had the pleasure of having Carly create our wedding cake this summer, and I am not exaggerating when I say our guests are STILL complimenting both its taste and design months later! From start to finish, Carly was kind and professional, even offering to ship us samples of flavors (as we do not live in the immediate area). The final product was absolutely stunning. Carly was a recommendation quite late on in our wedding planning journey after being let down by someone else. Whilst she was already busy she offered a suggestion that could work for us both and honestly it turned out better than my original plan! Her communication was fantastic - she was honest and clear and knew exactly what info she needed from me to make sure I would end up with something I was thrilled with. Our cakes were DEVOURED at the wedding, so delicious! We opted for lemon and blueberry for one and coffee and salted pecan for the other alongside some vegan gluten free cupcakes for guests with dietary requirements. All looked really beautiful too. Honestly I was so pleased with everything 10/10 recommend and we will be back for birthday cakes (and any other excuse for cake) if Carly’s time allows!

Carly did a fantastic job of creating our wedding cake. It was everything we wanted and more. We opted for the lemon and blueberry, chocolate and salted caramel and vanilla. Each tier tasted delicious with a good ratio of cake to buttercream. We will definitely recommend for occasions and will be ordering more in the future.

We couldn't recommend Cake of the Day enough! Pip made our incredible wedding cake and right from the start we knew it was going to be perfect. We had cake tasters sent to us in the post which all tasted incredible and the wedding cake was everything we could have dreamed of. Pip arrived at the venue with plenty of time to set up the cake and left us with nothing to worry about, she even made some gluten and dairy free cupcakes for our guests with allergies which they said tasted incredible. The cake was so delicious and everyone loved it and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pip to anyone needing a beautiful cake for any occasion!

Pip recently made a beautiful gender reveal cake for us. It looked and tasted fantastic! Exactly what we wanted and everyone commented on how wonderful it was. Great communication and reasonably priced. I just wish our wedding cake had been made by Pip too! Will definitely be coming back if we need a cake in the future.

Pip is a very talented cake maker. From the moment we tried her taster box we knew we wanted her to make our wedding cake, the flavours were unreal. Pip worked with us to figure out the best sizes to work for our guest numbers and accommodate our personal cake separator and took into account our colour scheme and preferred style when it came to decoration. We had chocolate and salted caramel on the bottom and two tiers of cherry bakewell and both flavours were delicious.

The Wedding Cake Pip created for us (four tiers - fruit, lemon drizzle, chocolate fudge and victoria sponge) was so good that we didn't even get any, it was all eaten in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed by all - all our guests raved about it. Pip agreed to remake the cake for our first anniversary and we made sure to enjoy a slice of each tier! It looked fantastic and tasted brilliant, cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you Pip!

We were absolutely blown away by our beautiful wedding cake made by Pip! She managed to take my couple of sentences of ideas and create something that was even more wonderful than we could have hoped for. Not only was it stunning to look at but it tasted incredible, and stayed fresh even days later when we tucked into some on honeymoon. Not only that, Pip was also an absolute pleasure to chat with, very responsive, kind and helpful. We are so so pleased we chose Cake of the Day - our wedding cake truly was the star of the reception!

Incredible! Pip at Cake of the Day was so helpful working with us to decide on sizes and flavours for our wedding cake. She made the whole experience enjoyable and even went the extra mile to get us edible flowers to decorate it. With so many things to think about she made this part easy. On the big day she arrived early to make sure everything was perfect for us, and made the cake look beautiful. We went for something that didn't look too over the top as all of our decorations were reasonably minimal, something that just looked delicious, after all, for us the taste is the most important part. We were not disappointed, we had a carrot cake layer, a lemon and elderflower layer and a vanilla layer, each one as wonderful as the last. We really couldn’t have asked for more and would 100% recommend Cake of the Day to others. We now only have one place to go for birthday cakes, cupcakes or any time we can find a reason (or excuse!) to get an amazing cake. Friendly and professional service with beautiful and delicious cake, what more could you want.

Fantastic little cosy place, placed in the lovely town of Bourton-on-the-Water. It has been a great moment finding this place, amongst all other bakeries. We also arrived quite late in the day so not many of the other places were open. Great service and lovely pastries as well ;)

We had the best cinnamon rolls, so fresh and squishy and huge, the icing was very tasty too and served in a muffin case - so cute!! smooth flat whites, served at the right temperature. Fab little garden at the back just watch for the wasps …. Bonus points for being dog friendly. All the bakes and pastries looked amazing making it a tough decision. Would have been 5 stars but you refused my Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 money even though it is legal currency in the uk……

Brought a malted loaf very late in the day. They managed to sell one for me, as I think they were all sealed up and ready to put away. Reasonable price for a large loaf, £3.80.

The bakery on the water was a bit of a disappointment to me. I purchased a sandwich a sausage roll and two pastries for a whopping £25. The food itself wasn’t bad however it didn’t not distinguish itself from other cheaper bakeries a short walk a way. The sandwich and the sausage roll took 20 minutes to toast and I was ignored by the staff. What a-shame, had the food been cheaper I would not of mined but for a premium price I expected a bit more.

Nice sitting area with lovely view, service is fast, friendly staff. We loved the lemon cake (11/10), the sandwiches were tasty (vegetarian option) and the cortado very well done.

I marked down a star because of the wasps, I know it can't be helped, but I spent my visit on edge. The focaccia I ordered came with a surprise salad and crisps that I didn't realise was included. All was very delicious and the iced tea I had was also very nice. Would visit again, just maybe with a citronella candle.

One of the best garden centre in the UK, with many rarely found brands and decent stuffs that you couldn’t see in any other garden centres. There’re so many species of flower bulbs that again is quite hard to find outside. This is quite a good point to visit. Cafe is decent and price is reasonable.

Very well established on the edge of Burford with a great reputation for quality...the Roll Royce standard of garden centres for the quality and sheer range of plants, complemented by high end art and sculpture for sale and an excellent cafe restaurant with a wide ranging menu. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Please note there is a no dog policy. Lots of free parking and level disabled access.

Wow, another great Garden centre. While staying in the beautiful historical town of Burford the gateway to the Cotswolds we visited a few small villages and attractions close by Burford garden centre being one of them. It's super close by just off the A40 highway. Super easy access and huge carpark. It has absolutely everything you need for the garden and home. Massive selection of plants and trees suited for England. Amazing indoor plant selection as well. Not to mention all the utensils you need. It has an art gallery, book store, clothing section, alcohol section and a chocolate room when Christmas comes around. The restaurant is also fantastic, serving great food and not over priced. Everyone that I spoke to in the garden centre loved it and the staff were super friendly and helpful. You honestly couldn't ask for more. Unfortunately I couldn't take pictures of the plants as the weather wasn't playing ball that day but we are planning a trip nearer Christmas.

Burford Garden Company is an amazing place to visit! It’s not just a garden center — they have a huge selection of plants, seeds, and gardening tools, but also beautiful homeware, clothing, and decorations. I especially loved their Christmas section — full of magical ornaments and festive inspiration. A wonderful place to spend time and find something special for every season.

This place just keeps going! Plants, kitchen, bath, clothing, patio furniture, books… In the book store area you can even buy genuine ancient bronze and Roman relics. This is a high end shop.

A really lovely place with so much to see and explore. It has everything from children’s toys to pet accessories, beautifully presented and thoughtfully laid out. That said, be prepared to spend — prices are definitely on the higher side, with a noticeable markup on most items. We had a lovely time wandering around, but it’s more of a “browse and admire” destination than a “fill the trolley” kind of shop.

OMG This Garden Centre is AMAZING! It’s a must, we happened to be driving past with grumbling tummies & Wowzers! What a stop! Food top notch, amazing selection of hot & cold dishes. The actual shop is amazing! Huge selection of home wares, food & plants of all types. This is a must.

Vegan options are few and far between in Gloucester so we were glad to find Hubble Bubble who have a few options including breakfast and plant milks which do not have an extra charge like many places. We had jacket potato with houmous, falafel and rocket with two teas and oat milk, which was all delicious. I notice they also had vegan chocolate orange gluten free tarts too. Lovely friendly owner and staff.

A great dog-friendly cafe. Be sure to try the dishes based on fries - like a canadian poutin! The lemonade is really nice and the staff are friendly - its really nice to have independent cafes like this that are 10 times better than any of the chains!

I found this place whilst passing time around the area and was very impressed. The menu was varied and contrary to other reviews, I was lucky enough to have a full choice. The food, when it arrived was well presented and tasty. I was visiting with the mini-me (9months) and the staff and cafe were welcoming toward both of us with prevision of a high chair as well. I'd recommend highly.

I am living in Gloucester since 2018 and I have walked front this place a millions of times and never getting in but today I went with some friends that they had been ther before and the food is really good, good prices, and nice staff. We catch the table just a moment so we didn't do any booking. I will go more times to try the rest of their dishes.

Stopped here this morning and what a surprise, exceptional food and friendly staff. Food came out fast and cappuccino was delicious! Great menu and great selection! In the heart of the city!

A very vibrant and well frequented place. I arrived at the change over from brekky to lunch. The staff were super friendly and the service was efficient and courteous. The menu features hearty meals that seem inspired by American diner food. There were great specials available too. All the food I saw come out of the kitchen looked good. My chicken burger was delicious and very reasonably priced. Overall a very positive experience.

Came for the valentines special which was excellent value for money and a lovely atmosphere. They really went out of their way to accommodate my partners food allergies, providing special sandwiches and all of the cakes pictured being gluten and dairy free. All washed down with unlimited tea and coffee refills. Excellent and highly recommended

This place is fantastic. The tea room is super cute, the scones are delicious and the company is excellent. They make an amazing hot chocolate that's loaded with mini marshmallows and whipped cream and even do gluten free afternoon tea! Highly highly recommended. Ask for the special mystery tea.

Took my mother and sister for their first time ever afternoon tea. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, tasty selection of sandwiches and sweets, and unlimited tea or coffee. Available to take away whatever you don't manage to eat. Good price. Busy place so booking a table online is recommended.

Well Walk Tea Room is the best place for tea and cake in Cheltenham. It's such a unique place and the staff are always so welcoming - I've been to Cheltenham several times just to go here.

Me and my partner came here for breakfast and the food was absolutely delicious! I had the Reuben sandwich and it tasted incredible - the meat, the bread and the pickles were so full of flavour. The chai coffee was amazing too and I highly recommend it. There are a variety of cakes and little gifts of various things to buy in the shop. Toilets were available upstairs. There is free car parking directly outside.

Beautiful atmosphere, but unfortunately let down by poor service. There were six staff members—two at the front and the rest in the back—yet the service was extremely slow. We ordered scones, coffee, and an English breakfast, and it took 40 minutes for the breakfast to arrive. It appeared that the team in the kitchen was disorganized and lacked coordination. While waiting, we noticed concerning hygiene practices: one staff member handling food was taking ingredients like cheese, bread, and lettuce from multiple places without washing her. OK to decent coffee shop, I didn't try the coffee, I came to have full English breakfast. There are not many parking spaces, so arrive early, you may get blocked in but the staff are aware of this. The breakfast was OK, it was above greasy spoon cafe quality but there was no baked beans, or black pudding. It was OK, the sourdough bread was nice though. The pancakes were good, as was the milkshake. On the first floor there is a shop selling clothes, kids books, toys crafts etc.

Food is generally good but service can be slow. We rarely visit though, as they will turf you out at 4 on the dot, regardless. When they say closing at 4 they really mean last orders at 3:30 and doors locked at 4pm. Could really learn about customer service from a café further down the canal who are lovely and friendly and will happily make a drink and cake 5 minutes before stated closing time. They let you consume this on the premises while they carry on cleaning up.

Terrible service, mediocre food and horribly over priced. All told a woeful lunch experience. Find a better destination if you want value for money.

Really lovely place. Staff are friendly. Chill lovely vibes with amazing food. The cream tea is 100% worth the price. I never knew there was an upstairs with a few bits to shop from so that was a very nice surprise. There is a car park for the caffe or off road parking a short walk down the road.

I booked here for my sisters baby shower. The food was absolutely delicious and freshly made. The only thing that I felt let down by was a welcome from the staff and also service to see if everything was ok for the group or more drinks needed as the teapots kept running dry! But the thing that really did put me off was basically being swept out of the door before closing !

A lovely discovery while exploring the town. I enjoyed everything on the plate - initially though, the bacon was crucified and not edible for me. I asked the staff if they could do it again, and they did, but it came out almost exactly the same. So I asked them to cook some again, and they did it again with a smile, all the while. I would highly recommend and look forward to coming back another time!

I booked lunch at the canteen for my friends hen do, we had a party of 20 people. We had our own private area which had tables and sofas, we preordered a soup with a sandwich each, and it was incredible! The food was delicious, you could tell it was made with quality ingredients, the place itself is so quirky and different, and perfect for a group outing, and I couldn’t fault the service! From booking to being there, the staff fully took care of us! Would highly recommend and I’ll definitely be going back!

A wonderful eatery in the middle of the town serving the most delicious food. Service was with a smile and fast. Portions were big and enough for two to share. The interiors are unique and well lit.

Cafe is tucked away down at the back of an alleyway with lots of planting, nice surroundings. Relaxed and arty atmosphere with lots of choice for snacks and larger dishes, we had frittata and sausage roll which came with an excellent salad. Also shop upstairs.

Wonderful quirky eating place, fantastic selection of snacks. We had a very tasty feta, spinach and leek pastry roll, and a huge cheese and spinach scone. The scone could have done with a bit more cheesiness. Very nice well-brewed pot of tea, and excellent iced black coffee. Wonderful array of random places to sit inside and out.

We stopped for brunch and both had the Turkish breakfast and coffee. Both were delicious, in a very charming setting. Order arrived quickly, we would go back.

Lovely little place to stop off for a walk, grab a coffee and learn about the history of the forest. Great for kids with activities for little ones too. My daughter made a bag which she was delighted with.

Absolutely beautiful place to visit if you can. Even just to sit by the lake and enjoy the peace and quiet. If you use the cafe, I would recommend taking some cash as the card machine wouldn't work today, and we had to walk downstairs to make payment from the gift shop and then walk back upstairs. The cafe could have done with more staff, especially because so many people were queued up wanting to place orders, etc. Unfortunately, the lady was rushed off her feet, making coffee's etc.

Headed here as I thought a bit of local history would be good to explore, and what a gem. I arrived on foot but there looked like there were ample parking facilities, I believe free. You make your way through exhibitions of local working history, domestic history, the surroundings, archaeological and people renowned in the area. Informative, displays that aren't yardidge of boring writing, but small bits of info with actual objects to see and/or touch. Superb small mine and charcoal reenactment displays outside and a charming Gruffalo trail, with large wooden figures carved by the onsite sculptor! Not just one for the kids! They have a playground too. Lovely cafe, good selection at usual prices, I only had tea but saw a couple with baguettes and salad, it looked delicious. Well worth a visit, a real hidden wonder.

We had such a lovely day at the Dean Heritage Centre in Soudley. The kids adored the Gruffalo Trail and spent ages in the playground, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more welcoming. It was a hot day so we treated ourselves to ice creams and coffees, which were spot on, and then wandered across the road to explore Soudley Ponds. The children loved hunting for painted rocks to rehide – such a simple but magical little extra. A brilliant family day out we’ll definitely recommend and do again!

Quite an interesting museum-cum-heritage centre coupled with a Gruffalo trail. Costs £9pp unless a concession applies, which I think is a bit on the steep side. The museum depicts life in days gone by and has plenty of exhibits, although it's not very interactive for visitors. The Gruffalo trail tells the children's story and has the characters on the trail, realistically it takes 15 minutes to do. Cafe and gift shop on site selling the usual bits at the usual prices, latte and traditional pasty both very good.

Upon entering it was very nice open space, the menu had lots of choices, I went with the Club Breakfast, I do think some changes could be made to make the meal better, Big mushroom for slices of mushrooms, tater tots could be less greasy, and two butter pots for each slice of sourdough bread but overall the experience was better than most places with prices that could be reduced. I would recommend you eat here.

It was quite loud but the food was amazing and the deserts were also great food took a bit longer than usual

Lovely tasty brunch/ lunch with friendly service and it’s dog friendly too. Great central location with free parking in public car park behind. The staff are an asset, a friendly young team. The food was all good, we had empty plates and positive feedback from our whole party. You can hire a hall at the back for parties as well. Great re-purposing of what would have been a working men’s club with quirky chairs and tables and a little kids corner. Well done to the team!

Could be really good. Service with a smile. Menu sounds good, but portions of the main attraction are far too small, with too much potato (where part of the dish). Dirty fries for example; dull chips, toped with a little beef, but no noticeable cheese. Nothing like dirty fries in a decent pub. Same with braised bean hash. This type of food needs to be exciting, but sadly is far from that.

Came here for a coffee while waiting for a friend. Liked it so much we came back for a delicious lunch. Really interesting menu and amazing cakes to indulge in afterwards. Staff are absolutely lovely. Can't fault it and would highly recommend it.

Good venue to meet on a ride or see some great planes but cafe disappointing. Cup of tea was nice but the scrambled egg was dry and had shell in it, plus brown bread! Shame, it looks like a great cafe but wouldn’t eat there again.

Lovey cafe/restaurant right on the runway, excellent views and a great vibe. Privileged to see a Spitfire and a Mustang taxi and take off.

If you like planes you'll love AV8. I didn't eat today but the menu had a good variety and reasonably priced. The food that was served to others looked appealing. A good range of hot and cold drinks and.lovely view.of the air strip.you can watch all types of small aircraft coming and going

Had a nice cup of coffee with cake watching light plane's taking off and landing. It was a great place to visit. This time went on a Saturday it was busy but great atmosphere and saw the spitfire take off and land which was brilliant 👏

I absolutely love this coffee shop. Whilst working at Cheltenham College I went twice a day once I found this place. The veggie rolls are great, the croissants were sometimes really fresh, the pain au chocolat has a good amount of chocolate. But the coffees both hot and cold, latte or cappuccino was so good probably one of the best coffee shops in the area. I also really appreciated that the waiter recognised me as I went often and waved! Will miss this coffee shop.

Great food! We sat outside in the courtyard area which was very cute. We ordered the smoked salmon and eggs on toast and the crispy chicken sandwich.

Recommended if you like smaller portions, we do so it suited us but some people prefer quantity over quality. The service varied, ever felt like you have to grab their attention whilst the loud table next to you gets all the service, we did. Still the food was quite good, prices were about average, the coffee was excellent and my wife said it was the best chai latte in her life.

To start with positives. The service was attentive, but nothing to write home about. The coffee and matcha were delicious. Aside from that, the wait time was too long. The drinks took 20min with food over 45min to be served. The food while presented nicely was disappointing. The sweet potato rosti dish could be eaten in 5 bites, easily 200g of food. It was so small I left hungry. Additional rostis or carb element is needed to turn what was a “starter” into a “main” lunch item. The other dishes my friends ordered, marinated tomato sourdough and sausage toast dishes, were okay and definitely more appropriately sized. Don’t think I’ll be back, there’s some other excellent local spots close by that have better options.

We came at lunchtime on Sunday, so we had to wait quite a bit for our food to be ready – but that is to be expected. The staff were polite and it was easy to get their attention. The tea was alright; our food (full English breakfast & sweet potato pavé) was extremely greasy, however. Not in a cheap way, but every single item on the plate had so much more oil (and salt) than necessary. Additionally, they use all the fancy terms on their menu, so if you are not a foodie then you’ll have a hard time knowing what’s what. Unfortunately my dish ended up having an ingredient that I can’t stomach, which I couldn’t have anticipated from the menu (not even after googling what the fancy food terms meant) – people with allergies and intolerances should be careful.

Great food, generous bacon sarny in their excellent sourdough bread. We'll be coming back to try the shakshuka. Update -;Just been back for another bacon sandwich, still great value! Update 2 - back again for brunch and coffee, had the black pudding on fried bread with bacon & scrambled eggs, and it was the tastiest black pudding I've ever had. My partner, who isn't a big fan of black pudding, tried some and agreed. I should also mention they have amazing sausage rolls, cruffins and other pastries. They also serve some of the best coffee in Cheltenham.

Very appealing decor and atmosphere with surprisingly large amount of seating from first appearance. Dog friendly. The food was freshly made and good but a little sparse for the price. Was expecting a more traditional shaksuka, this lacked warmth and sauce.

Googled this place as was in town and looking at the reviews thought this is the go to the place, definitely wasn’t disappointed great service and excellent Vegi breakfast.

Came here the day of the street fair with my kids. Food was good and the staff were very good. Especially Polly, she was very patient with my kids and was really helpful and friendly.

Nice family run café with friendly helpful staff. About the only place open today (13/05/2024) in Wotton where you could sit and eat. Our breakfasts were quite acceptable if alittle unimaginative but we didn't have to wait very long for our orders to arrive. The menu offered a good choice of lunchtime meals and the café's licensed. Everywhere was nice and clean.

We stopped here for lunch after a lovely walk on the hills. We were expecting a takeaway so it was a nice surprise to be able to sit on the rear courtyard. Personally I’d put up a big sign advertising that! The courtyard was lovely, although chilly! The smell from the outdoor oven was mouth watering! My sausage sandwich was delicious with a superb malty brown bread. Excellent value and lovely service too.

Lovely cafe at the top of the Bath road. Despite it's busy location the cafe feels peaceful and welcoming. Service has been prompt when I've visited and never overly busy.

Lovely coffee shop with a good range of drinks and cakes. I haven't tried the food so can't comment on that but looks like they have a good range of lunch options.

Very cute little cafe with attentive and passionate staff and delicious sweet treats. A plus is the bi-foldable shop window which allows for an extra special atmosphere on the warmer days!

This is a lovely little hipster place with very friendly staff, generous food probs at reasonable prices. The menu is not huge, but both dishes we had were worth the restricted choice.

Cosy and original. This little place has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and a delectable selection of tasty baked treats to go with your coffee. Came here for a lazy Sunday afternoon coffee and chat with a friend. We each had an iced coffee, though I opted for the decaf mocha version - a nice little cocoa twist on the regular - 35p extra for decaf or almond milk (and other extras or alternatives I wasn't paying too much attention to). Tasted great and the serving size was decent with not too much ice. We also each had a millionaire shortbread - it was so decadent and perfectly made. The chocolate topping was solid but not too hard to break easily enough with a fork, the same goes for the shortbread - baked to perfection. And the lovely gooey caramel in the middle was also just right. There are a number of little tables inside with wooden and metal framed chairs, but also a cushioned bench along the one wall, there's also seating at a counter along the window for solo diners. The restaurant is a little below street level, but a ramp from the entrance looks like it could be wheelchair friendly.

I was disappointed a bit with using this popular cafe, bisto. The staff were helpful, and cheerful but the bacon sandwich delivered the bread on the drier side, no butter or spread, the bacon cooked and then microwaved too much came in the sandwich very dry and way overcooked. I had a banoffi ice-cream milk shake, served in warm glass and just syrup and dried banana sprinkled on the cream and contents......no fresh banana, it's like everything is pre cooked and done on the cheapest basis to maximise profits...a shame for sure......

We came to Brew & Bake for brunch on a sunny Sunday morning, all the windows were open and it was just lovely. It was full but not over crowded as they had removed the chairs from the middle table. There was a short wait for the table which was thoroughly sanitised before we sat down. The menu had lots of great breakfast options including a full English, eggs benedict with salmon and my choice: bacon, avocado and poached eggs on sourdough toast, with a side order of halloumi. They were quite busy, we had some coffees which came out first and were finished just before the food came out. Everything was cooked really well - nice gooey eggs! Very flavoursome and an ample amount. The bacon was cooked perfectly too - all plates went back clean. The staff were very friendly, checking if we were ok, needed water or sauces. Everywhere was very clean and comfy. I'd recommend and certainly go back.

We were on a short break in Nailsworth and thought we will try a local bread. We found this Hobbs House Bakery and thought a large loaf ‘St Martin Sourdough’ looked very delicious. The bakery attendant asked us if we wanted it sliced and we said yes. We were surprised to get not a freshly sliced bread that we had hoped to get but a stale already sliced bread and paid £5.70 for it! I would not recommend this bakery and their stale bread to anyone.

Lovely bakery with a variety of food like cakes, sandwiches, sausage roll and bread. You can drink your coffee next to a lovely stream. Good coffee as well.

This is in my opinion the nicest Bakery in Nailsworth with the best selection. The sausage rolls and breakfast baps were delicious followed by a really nice okd-school jam doughnut. All the staff were lovely and clearly a favourite with the locals too as the upstairs cafe was bustling alongside cyclists outside refuelling with delicious treats.

Had some really not very good stuff from here of late. Their sourdough wasn't great and the french pastries are just wrong, they are really breaddy and not very good at all. Nailsworth has far better bakers these days.

Went to hobbs house bakery in nailsworth. Had a Cornish Pasty and a millionaire shortbread. It was great. The corish pastry could tell made fresh that day all good quality ingredients chunks of meat with the diced veg. Was perfectly seasoned and warm too. Millionaire shortbread had a good ration of thirds with large chunk of caramel. Would have liked little bit large bit of chocolate on top but nevertheless very tasty. What I had was delicious. Havent been in while, only small downside is the server said they stopped server the mini fresh pizzas a while ago. That was Main reason I came back. Even though was minor disappointment wasn't what I was after was very pleased with what they had instead. Would definitely recommend.

Been here a few times for the cafe, always friendly staff, and always good food. I have tried the breakfast and a number of other items, but my favourite has to be the chilli billy which is chilli jam and roasted goats cheese on St Martin’s sour dough, it’s fabulous. Good choice of tea and coffee, but make sure you try the chilli billy.

A brilliant bakery selling a range of goods, from fresh loaves to custard tarts. Many are made with speciality grains and they also do vegan food. The sausage rolls are amazing.

Really efficient service and amazing vegan breakfast! After noticing our vegan runners tops the waiter was able to guide us to what was available for us to eat.

I absolutely love this place! More than awesome staff, good music, wonderful coffee and great selection of vegan and vegetarian food! I'd strongly recommend a visit!

Nice place to stop for coffee in the heart of the village close to St Edwards Church. Smooth coffee with plenty of delightful sweet and savoury treats.

The two best hot chocolates I have had in the world have both been in the UK and this was one of them! Great spot and the staff were incredible too! Wish I had a couple more days to have the goods here!

Awesome café with lovely views onto the plaza. The coffee is very good, the frangipane is delicious, and the pastries switch around every day. There was also a beautiful looking twisty cone-like pastry with lemon curd that was amazing. Like other cafés in town, it has rooms to sit in in the upper levels and looks absolutely lovely everywhere. Everyone is lovely too. As the café is very visible and popular, sometimes you need to have a bit of luck to be able to eat in, especially on the weekends, when the whole town gets very crowded.

Great place to go in Stow for Coffee & Cakes. Sadly today, however, the staff were met with a frightfully rude customer. The guy walked passed me muttering something childish about leaving a bad review online. The staff are lovely and work bloody hard in a tough industry. I ate too much toast today though! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of the best places to be on a sunny day! Fab trees for the kids to climb whilst you have a - surprisingly decent - coffee! Healthy food options including delicious freshly prepared salads, crudités and straight-up fruit pots! (And open all year, apart from Christmas day!)

I just love this place! As a child I would be brought here with my mum for an ice cream if we came to the park. Now as a 60 year old I visit at least twice a week for coffee & a gorgeous cake during a break from work. The staff are so friendly, the cakes & savouries make me smile just looking at them. The selection of flapjacks guarantee to brighten when the heaviest of days. Set in the beautiful Pittville park, it's an oasis of cslm for me.

Brilliant cafe at the park. Great coffee Kids loved their ice creams. Open after 9am so we had to wait as we were at the park early to avoid the crowds.

I am lucky enough to work just 2 mins walk from the cafe. All the staff are friendly and helpful and they have the best selection of cakes, i love their Rocky Road! They're mocha's are also delicious, i prefer the hot drinks from the Centra Cross than i do to Costa Coffee! The hot baguettes are also really tasty! Also in the Summer months they have the ice cream stall that has a great selection of Ice Creams and Milkshakes! I visit the Central Cross Cafe at least 2 days a week, thats just how much i love it.

This is our favourite spot to stop for a coffee and cake with our dogs. Watching the world go by and all the other passing dogs. Great coffee and a lovely piece of carrot and walnut cake.

Loved it we had teas and savoury pastries quickky heated up and best of all they were crispy not soggy also priced quite fairly. All outside seating we had a pleasant time spent in a lovely park. Lots of Mothers and babies not a problem for us. Would go again not sure if any toilets nearby

We stopped for a quick breakfast visit to Burford and had high hopes for this cute little place after walking up and down the street to choose our breakfast venue. Sadly I left very disappointed with the food. The toast was barely toasted, fried egg had been fried to decimation. A 10% service charge is automatically added to the bill even though you pay before you get any service. We didn't get any cutlery and had to go searching for some ourselves. I wanted poached eggs and avocado but they do not do them. Overpriced in my opinion compared to neighbouring breakfast places compared to the quality on offer. I only took a picture of the scrambled egg on toast with avo as I was that disappointed with mine I kept my camera away from it. Iust add that the scrambled egg did taste nice but the hash brown was soggy and undercooked. The hot chocolate was expensive for a basic powdered hot chocolate. £40 for two basic breakfasts and 2 drinks and I'm still hungry. I don't write negative reviews often but I feel the breakfast needs to improve here and I hope it does as the staff were very friendly.

Was served undercooked quiche, I asked for it to be reheated and was told someone will come to do so shortly. No one came so I walked in and handed in the quiche, only to be told that a refund would be given. No alternative was offered. Had the cheek of keeping the service charge until I requested it back. Overpriced and poor service, use some of the service charge to train your staff please 🫶 EDIT: No alternative was offered and no complimentary coffee despite the response from the shop, and I had to ask for the service charge to be refunded as if this was not a given. But thanks for the apology

If I was the owner of this place I would be saddened by the attitude of the team working here and urgently look for alternatives . More interested in flirting and joking around with each other than actually doing anything. Slow and confused service. We watched people leaving and trying to say goodbye to the team but being ignored by them. The website says it closes at 5 but the team were clearing down at 340. If they had only shown such zeal when it came to clearing our tables when we arrived. Piling chairs on tables whilst we are sat around it. Redeemed by good coffee but not much else. It it wasn’t for the rain, I would have left.

The young lady serving today at 430pm was extremely nasty towards us. She literally almost refused to serve us ... We're well manner and we'll dress middle age customers. She was too busy having fun with her friends.. sad experience

Me and my wife came in Wednesday for a coffee and cake with my dog the girls & guy working was lovely and was chatting with us. The lovely brunette girl with tattoos was giving so much attention to our dogs and really made us feel welcomed and just was a really nice atmosphere. 10/10 recommend wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Disappointing visit to this bakery on a Sunday morning. The staff seemed as though they would rather be anywhere else. We went in at around 9:45am to be told they were out of sausages already. I was stood with my partner but the server seemed to ignore me and take his order and ask for payment so we had to ask for mine to be added on. We ordered 2 bacon baps, one americano and one latte. The table we picked had clearly not been wiped down as it was sticky. The cutlery pot empty (filled up as we were leaving). The food and drink arrived at different times, about 5 minutes between. The bacon baps did not have much filling and no butter. We were not offered sauce and had to go find it. As we were sat we heard numerous people order sausages to be told they had none and then they ran out of bacon too! One gentleman asked if there was a supply issue and then rightly left to visit another cafe, we wished we'd done the same.

What I miss the most after coming back to Korea — the scones from there. T.T Even my picky eater child enjoyed the sandwich. I sent you a message on Instagram, please check it. 😭 My son left my wristwatch on the attic table, and at that time, a staff member was working nearby. 😭 Please help me find the watch. 😭😭😭😭

Had an anniversary afternoon tea at Huffkins Morton in Marsh and we were treated like special guests, the young lady serving us was so welcoming and pleasant. The sandwiches were freshly made to order and delicious, the scones were still warm from the oven with plenty of cream and nice tiptree jam, the top tier of cakes we had to take away but still tasted fresh the next day and were delicious. We were surprised that the tea, coffee or soft drinks were unlimited ! Although we only had one pot each it was nice to know there was more if required.

On our 1st visit we had brunch which had been bought for us with a buyagift voucher and then yesterday using another voucher we had an amazing afternoon tea. It was delicious and we had to take the lovely cakes home as we were so full after the sandwiches and scones. Definitely will be back.

We live locally and visit various Huffkins cafes fairly regularly but we had not been to this one before. It was amazing from the moment we entered. The service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. A lovely little afternoon tea provided for my 3 year old, with handy colouring sheets and crayons provided. Excellent value for money for a traditional afternoon tea with extra cream cakes!! I loved having a little dish of crisps to go with the sandwiches, a nice touch! Thank you!

I only knocked a star off because of the price. The fe was nice, the staff were friendly and accommodating but it was a pricey lunch. Fairly good selection of food, but there are plenty of other cafes in the town so would not use again….but only because I felt it was overpriced, not because of the quality of the food, which was great.

A lovely little cosy cafe on the high street - the perfect spot to take shelter from the wind and rain! Excellent coffee and huge selection of cakes, pastries and breakfast & brunch choices. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the service was very quick too. We will definitely be back again to try the classic brunch for two!

We visited Otis and Belle on a recent visit to Stow on the Wold. The selection of pastries was outstanding. The Cruffin was a highlight and is highly recommended. The Coffee and hot chocolates were very nice. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly and provided great service. We will certainly be going back there again.

It's running by two charming women's. The coffee and the pastry are delicious, I greatly recommend the place, to go and enjoy the coffe and the pastry in the place. Eventhough they are busy they treat you with a smile and kindness!!!

Very fresh and has some delicious vegan options including a couple of sandwiches and a Turkish spicy pide. Very happy to have stumbled upon it. We paid £13 for a sandwich, pide and crisps- more affordable than most places.

I went around 2pm on Sunday and pretty much everything was sold out but I managed to grab sweet chilli, dried tomatoes, cheese and olives sourdough. It was delicious

The moment you walk in, it's easy to see what makes this quaint little bakery stand out.. The on-site made food is a pleasure for both the tastebuds and the eyes, as a battle of self-will to only buy what you should (and not what you could) will surely ensue.. The cinny bun was a real highlight, though the cornish pasty wasn't far behind, plus the coffee was great too. Only tip would be to add the ability to heat the food up on request.

The cake Tasha created for my husbands 40th was amazing! She put a fab spin on her traditional cherry Bakewell in the colours I asked for. He’s allergic to dairy too and she was super accommodating and he was delighted to have a cake in his favourite flavours. The collection process was super easy from the Find. Would absolutely get another! Thank you 😊

Tasha made a three tier vegan cake for our wedding recently and it was out of this world! The flavours were amazing, the cake looked beautiful, and it went down so well with all of our guests. She also made some GF cupcakes with coconut sugar to make sure all dietary requirements were catered for. We're so happy with the cakes and the service, would definitely recommend.

Had some treats from Tasha's Sugar Art twice now....they're handily located on my way to and from town. Incredibly tasty brownies (kinder beuno and cornflake brownies are superb) that hit the spot if you have a sweet tooth. Macaroons and meringue kisses are amazing too!! They also do coffee! It's gonna be dangerous living around the corner from here 😂. Would highly recommend if you're after some chocolatey goodness. The owners are super friendly too.

Absolutely love Hettys, whether you want a takeaway coffee and Brownie or a sit in Brunch - Hetty is your place to try! They make the most incredible brownies and the flavours are so different to other places. You can tell Hetty really takes pride in her monthly flavours and you can even order online and get them posted! Staff are super friendly and helpful too.

Hetty's Kitchen is a hidden gem! Although a little expensive, which I expect from a small independent business, the staff were polite and friendly, the food and coffee was delicious and the brownies are to die for. The toasties were hot, tasty, and served with delicious sauces. The coffee had a great taste, and the mocha cookie dough brownie I had had a delicious strong and punchy coffee flavour.

We’ve been customers of Hetty’s since we found the cake hatch a few years back - what a gem! We’ve visited the cafe many times and always enjoy the food, atmosphere and friendly service. The brownies are absolutely stunning and we’ve bought many as gifts which people are always amazed by this great Gloucester treasure! We are really looking forward to the opening of Hetty’s Place at Gloucester food dock soon! Keep up the great work guys! 💕

Found Hetty’s on Google and the menu seemed great. Walked in and was greeted with a smile and from them until with left, the service was outstanding. The food was even better. Had breakfast and then had to try a brownie. I will be back tomorrow and highky recommend the establishment.

INCREDIBLE! We definitely ordered too much, but couldn’t decide on one or two things because it all looked amazing. We took some brownies away too, and we agree they’re the best brownies we’ve ever had. The custard cream blondie is *chefs kiss*!

I ordered the almond blondie/brownie due to choc smiths doing a bar collab. Arrived super quickly, the taste? gorgeous, texture? stunning, flavour? alllllllllll there. i could eat 3 trays by myself if i wouldnt put on 3 stone doing so. Gorgegous packaging, very cute and absolutely delicious brownies!! glad i got some on there own, just got my choc collab bar too and that is just giving me memories of the amazing brownie that blessed my mouth.

Love Hetty's. We have had their mail order brownies and sent some as gifts but it's always lovely to go into their cafe and have a sit down brunch or brownie (or both). Love supporting this place!

Oh my, I'm at a loss for words, she is excellent. She went above and beyond to ensure that the cake was delivered to my husband. I ordered the cake on short notice since I'm based in the USA, but she managed to deliver it on time and the cake looked amazing. My husband also appreciated how it tasted. I highly recommend anyone to order from Emma.

What an absolute angel Emma is. I was let down by someone who was going to make my daughter’s 18th birthday cake, 5 days before her party! I contacted Emma after looking through Google, read her reviews and decided to ask if she could help. Emma replied within minutes saying she could help, I honestly was so relieved and can’t thank her enough for helping me out at such short notice. The cake was just as I’d asked for, I also had some cupcakes, which Emma made the same topping as the cake. My daughter was over the moon with her cakes. I was so happy with the cakes Emma made, I asked her to make one for my boyfriend’s birthday. Emma also offers buffet food, so for my boyfriend’s party, I asked Emma to help with that too. The buffet was AMAZING, lots of food, well presented and tasted great….. and so did the cake! I had a lots of compliments about the buffet. It’s my youngest daughter’s 13th birthday, I have asked Emma if she can make some cupcakes 🧁 Emma is an absolutely lovely lady and her cakes and buffets are on another level. I would 100% recommend The Gloucester Cake Company, I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my cakes and buffets. Thank you Emma ❤️

I was in need of a picture on edible paper and after contacting a few local bakers, nothing was too difficult for Emma. I didn't need it for about a week but she had it done for me by the next day. She asked all the questions that I hadn't thought of and was just so easy to communicate with. She also gave me lovely comments on my amateur looking cake for my sons birthday. Will definitely look at supporting her more where I can in the future.

What a find. I wanted a 50 th wedding anniversary cake to feature my sister in laws beloved chalet in Somerset. Emma was brilliant, sent her a photo and after a friendly chat I knew she would do us proud. Thank you so much for an original cake . Picked it up all in a cake box with excellent cake care instructions including all ingredients etc used. Cannot recommend enough.

Anna made my brother's wedding cake. I offered to organise the cake for the bride and groom and Anna was incredibly helpful and efficient in presenting ideas and solutions to meet our requirements. She made a two-tier lemon drizzle/rainbow cake with vegan carrot cupcakes that all looked amazing and tasted delicious and all at a very fair price. She was brilliant at keeping in touch and responding to any queries we had, and when I met her on the wedding day she was lovely too.

I've worked with Anna on a number of occasions - my brother's wedding cake, an Easter gift, a few birthday cakes, and even baked goods for my Grandpa's funeral. Recently, Anna made mine and my husband's wedding cake and also provided flapjacks, cupcakes, brownies and fruit platters for 200 people. The cake was absolutely gorgeous, and all the baked goods were delicious. Anna was so accommodating, was able to provide gluten free and vegan options, and we could not have been happier. Anna is always extremely professional, easy to work with, and delivers way above expectations. Anna's cakes are not only beautiful to look at, but they also taste incredible! wedding cake - it really was beautiful and every time I see a photograph I am taken back to when we first saw the cake and stunned by how beautiful it was and how Jess had managed to create the exact vision id had for our dream cake. Jess was both professional and so friendly right from the start of our journey when we sent over a brief, through to ordering the cake which was super easy, right through to the well wishes she sent after setting up our cake on the day. The taster box we were sent in advance was polished off in minutes - choosing only three flavours took a little longer! All three flavours were absolutely divine. If you’re thinking of ordering from Flour and Fold, you don’t think twice - you won’t regret it.

Where do I start?! She’s incredible, the whole experience was incredible from start to finish. Multitude of flavours to pick from - all amazing! We went for a salted caramel layer, a biscoff layer and a chocolate marble layer… people were obsessed with how good they were! Jess went above any beyond, sending us multiple sketches of designs, working with the florist to tie in the look and she even made a gluten free cupcake for one of my friends to match. What a find! Becky did a wonderful job creating a wedding cake for us that not only looked beautiful and tasted delicious, but was gluten free as well! With my husband being coeliac, we were anxious about the challenge of finding someone who'd know how to make a wedding cake work in gluten free form, but Becky handled it expertly. She was so helpful in terms of guidance and advice with styles, structure, and flavours, and we were delighted with the result, including Becky's delicate use of flowers from our florist to add the finishing touches to the autumnal design. The cake was very popular with our guests, many of whom couldn't believe it was gluten free, and we're chuffed we managed to keep the top tier for ourselves! The quality, taste and overall deliciousness of the bakes are second to none, every time! I've ordered via post for family/friends as well as myself and made a purchase whenever spotted at a market or event. Not only are the bakes incredibly tasty and delicious but Sam is also such a lovely lady too. Sam communicates clearly, always gets orders spot on every time and is my go to for treats and bakes! Really delicious and the perfect range of different flavours to try - every single one was divine. We had the chocoholic brownie box delivered as a gift from some friends to cheer us up as we have tested positive for Covid and feeling a bit rubbish in isolation, it is the perfect pick me up! Can’t recommend enough - the brownies are so rich that between the three of us we try two brownies each night and it’s more than enough so has kept us going for an few nights of very indulgent treats too!

Amazing. Possibly the chunkiest brownies I've ever seen and the taste was amazing. We had the choc orange ones (my fav) and the hazelnut ones for my partner. Delicious, and also a friendly and timely service. Previously had brilliant bespoke cupcakes made for my son's birthday too. We will no doubt be returning again!

I am the father of the bride and Louise was just exceptional. Every detail that my daughter asked for in her wedding cake, Louise delivered. All of our guests said that the design, the flavours and the overall look of the wedding cake was just sublime. I can not recommend Louise highly enough. She provided 2 amazing cakes for my Dad’s 80th which were both perfect in look and taste. Working with Louise was wonderful from start to finish. We met her at a wedding fayre, and she stood out to us by how genuine she was in how she wanted to help us bring our dream cake to life and her skill in sugar flowers which I really wanted on our cake (as well as her amazing tasters!). Throughout the process Louise was gracious and engaged, and it was so fun to bounce ideas to reach the final design in a face to face consultation. For flavours, Louise worked with us to narrow down and provided generous tasters to help us decide on our final 3 flavours, as well as helping us work out which flavour would be best for which tier size. She also created one tier for us that wasn't from her standard flavour list, a sticky ginger, to go alongside her other flavours of lemon drizzle, and white velvet and raspberry which were all delicious, our guests complimenting the flavours, as well as her white chocolate ganache that coated the tiers, which I really liked as it meant the cakes weren't overwhelmed with layers and layers of buttercream. Communication with Louise was prompt and easy, her prices were upfront and it was easy to discuss options with her to find the right size - for the cake, end to end service and sugar flowers we were happy with the final cost and felt it provided value for money. We had a fragile topper ornament that she was very mindful of, both in incorporating it into the cake design but also in how it would sit on the top tier as it was quite tall, making sure we factored that in when selecting the cake size. Louise kept us up to date in the run up of the wedding with cake progress, and also proactively shared a handing freezing guide, as she knew we wanted to keep a quarter of each tier for ourselves afterwards. She also worked well with the venue on the day, setting up and giving the venue all the boxes and instructions as well as flavour/allergen cards to display, and as the bride it was nice to have such complete confidence in her that I didn't feel the need to check in to make sure everything was okay. I would happily recommend Louise to others, and use her again for other cakes.

Marta is absolutely incredible, our wedding cake was hands down the best cake we have ever tasted! We found Marta online while looking for a supplier close to our venue. We were almost 100miles away from her but we got in touch, organised a zoom chat and she even posted down samples for us to try! We were blown away with her flavours and knew straight away we needed Bohemian Bakery to make our wedding cake. On the lead up to the day, we went back and forth over flavours but Marta put us at ease and told us we didn't need to make a decision until around a month before our date. She kept in touch the entire time, was always so quick to respond to our emails and she made the whole experience such a pleasure. She got in touch with our florist who was making flowers for the cake and organised to meet on the morning of the wedding so she could collect the flowers and arrange them on the cake. On the day itself Marta was there to set up the cake, the cake flowers and our topper which we had left out labelled for her. Everyone commented on how lovely our cake looked, and then later all our guests were amazed by the cake and how incredible it tasted. Our only regret is that we didn't order a bigger one so we had more to keep for ourselves after the big day!! Thank you so much Marta, your talent is phenomenal and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect cake - it was exactly how we pictured it!

We went a little different for our wedding, and Marta had no problems with that at all. She helped develop our initial ideas as we weren't perfectly sure what we wanted, and we ended up with a cake that not only looked brilliant, but tasted amazing too. We asked for a slight change on one of the flavours and she did it perfectly. We had loads of comments about how good all the different flavours tasted. As well as this, Marta was so friendly throughout the process and made the experience so easy. I definitely recommend these delicious cakes!

Marta was amazing throughout the process for our wedding cake. She went out of her way to send cake tasters via post to our home, giving us time to deliberate on the flavours. All her cakes were exceptional but the two that we chose were the chocolate and a lemon and poppy seed. The lemon flavour was so light and refreshing (not too much tart/citrus on request) and the chocolate was delectable.

I came across butter, sugar, flower from a friend who had ordered cupcakes for a birthday and they were just incredible, so I reached out to Sarina to discuss and order an anniversary cake and the process and commitment from her was fantastic. The flavour (decadent chocolate), was WOW...so moist and ...the buttercream...I can not even describe how good this is. I will definitely come back and highly recommend.

This is such a hidden gem in Yate. I came here for some cake and a milkshake and it was amazing. There were plenty of cakes to choose from. The atmosphere was very cosy and quirky. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. This is a lovely little cafe. I’d definitely come back here to grab some lunch and for an afternoon tea.

A beautiful Mothers Day afternoon tea 🩷 Booked monthsssss in advance as the afternoon tea here is very popular, and now I understand why. Absolutely everything served was incredible. So fresh, insane portions and delicious. One of those meals that won't be forgotten about anytime soon 😍 The service was not good, which was a shame, but the food made up for it. Also some music (for atmosphere) in the upstairs seating area wouldn't have gone a miss 😂 Visited in March 2024

It's a nice little cosy place and I was very impressed. The food was nice and the milkshake I had was delicious. Afternoon tea was amazing!! Such a big selection to choose from!!

Charming, rustic and well laid out cafe serving a wide variety of drinks, food items and cakes. Lovely seating throughout the inside and out, well situated. Accessible with clean toilets. Menu items are generally well priced and service is good with takeaway options. Highly recommended, literally the only complaint I can think of is their milkshakes are on the small size for something advertised as 'large' 😅

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The service was very quick though they were busy. There's 3 different spaces to sit in and the decor goes with the name. The coleslaw was really lovely and I thought the added description on the coffee was a lovely touch.

Driven past the place numerous times and finally got a chance to stop and cure my curiosity! Well, what a gem of a place. Everyone is super friendly, knowledgeable in all the gift shops. Cafe is great, plenty of deliciousness on the menu. We be back again for the various events throughout the year. Not that we will need an excuse to come back.. highly recommended.

Found this lovely craft centre whilst visiting lydney over the weekend in June 2025. There was a lovely tap room with a good selection of ales and ciders and spirits. There were wide and varied choices of shops selling anything from scented candles, shower steamers and bohemian clothing to a large garden centre selling plants and gardening must haves. Found some books about foraging and herbs, tarot cards and ethereal wonders, jewellery, arts and many other interesting and novel purchasing opportunities. Lovely place to visit, good prices. Would recommend

Came for a car boot sale that we saw advertised locally when visiting, only for it to not be on the day we went! Mooched around the shops but too far out of our price range. Toddler enjoyed the park. Free parking.

Our 2nd visit that did not disappoint! Had a lovely lunch - freshly made & so tasty! Loved wandering around the shops in the autumnal sunshine & feeling the values of this amazing community! A great way to to spend a Sunday afternoon! We will be back! x

Such a lovely little find. Lots of artisan shops - not astronomically priced. Little play area for children. Cafe area and shop selling food stuff (I've forgotten it's name).

Only 4 stars because a lot of the shops were closed as the owners were taking a well earned holiday. Shops that were open were really good and had unique goods for sale

Unfortunately another bad experience here. On arrival of the breakfast it looked absolutely stunning but the eggs were overdone, beans cold and hash brown was soggy underneath. Toast was lovely as was the tomatoes, mushroom dry, guacamole on toast was ok but not overly flavourful. All served lukewarm/cold again! Was hoping for a better experience. That aside the staff on arrival and taking my order were cheerful and friendly, the place is clean and a great atmosphere, just a shame the staff didn’t check to see all was ok with my breakfast and rectify, it’s not in my nature to be confrontational and complain unless someone checks in on my meal. My pot of tea was lovely though. Not sure I want to come back again. Third time lucky maybe? 2* for staff on arrival, -3* for food and service thereafter

First time trying out. I order salmon bagel and my friend got English breakfast. It was a pleasant and quick-served meal. Not too salty no too oily just the right taste. The service is 🤌. So highly recommended.

Baha is an excellent host/server, smiles, makes eye contact and is friendly and welcoming, we are so happy when he is there to be looking after us. Quaffles are amazing!

Wonderful place! Went for a coconut hot chocolate and a macaroon, absolutely delicious. The staff were efficient, friendly and the service was fast. Alex was lovely. Would 100% recommend and will definitely return 😊

Fantastic food. Staff very friendly and can't do enough for you. We go quite regularly for lunch and we are always called by name which is lovely. Recent separate gluten free menu which is very helpful. Love it here.

Absolutely gorgeous! Best service and food ever, everyone is so friendly and welcoming, the food is incredible, fresh and tasty. So much to choose from 😍 Vegan, Gluten-free & Dairy free options, they made me this gorgeous jacket served with oven roasted tomato and mushrooms, was so delicious and I will be back again. I stopped here on my way to the Cotswolds for a walk. I had a bacon and brie toasted panini, 2 homemade cakes, homemade scone (warmed up with cc and jam) and a dirty chai. All made in their kitchen and all absolutely delicious. Nice place to chill as it's very relaxed inside. Really friendly owners and everyone is cool and up for a chat. Made me as a newcomer feel very welcome. Parking onsite. Will come again if I'm ever passing!

Been here a couple of times now and always had great service by the friendly staff. I have had a number of different items on the menu which has always been very tasty and ample portion sizes. If you are ever in the area I would highly recommend.

Dog friendly and vegan options! I loved this place so much! They were dog welcoming, loads of seating inside and out, fresh water and treats for the dogs too. Wide menu options and happy to make alterations for dietary requirements. Cute book section with donation to charity. Toilets were lovely and clean too. Lovely local cafe that were really kind to tourists. AND THE CARROT CAKE WAS AMAZING!

We arrived at 11.45 hoping to order late breakfast and as the menu stated breakfast between 9am and 12 midday we thought this was not going to be an issue - unfortunately we tried ordering breakfast but we're told they had gone onto the lunch menu - staff were attentive and good was fresh and arrived promptly - we did have to wait to pay the bill as one staff member was covering both upstairs and downstairs whilst the other two were vaping at the back of the building. Lovely food - would visit again but give plenty of time if you want breakfast

Called in here while out for a ride. The carpark is behind the cafe but you have to drive through a yard with small commercial units to get to it. The service and the food were good and the cafe had a good atmosphere. There is inside and outside seating.

We arrived to have a lovely lunch here, after a long walk. Arrived at 2.26pm for lunch to be told the kitchen was closed… website said open till 4pm. Ordered a latte and 2 cakes ( all there was to eat !! ) , asked for still water to drink, only tap water available and was bought out not even a full glass !

This is an excellent cafe and local community asset, not expensive and very good service.Its busy and yet we had great service. It's useful if walking the local routes, it's got a covered smoking area and grass area for outside eating, with dog bowl and bike stand, convenient for the Gloucestershire Way walk and definitely worth a visit.

Delicious food, great vibe. I got a pasty today which was delicious and a giant slice of chocolate cake. I still have yet to eat the cake, but really great food. Highly recommend if you're going for a walk on Severn Beach and are hungry after!

Very cute café. The sweet old lady deserves a star ⭐ for her quick service. Not many bakery options you get but pork sausage roll tasted quite fresh. I also tried their biscoff cheesecake and it was not too bad as well.

An impossibly good bakery. The jumbo pasty is huge (6/5 modern phone length x 3/4 modern phone length) and is better and larger than any pasty I've ever had, even when I live in Cornwall! The price is also unbelievably cheap (4.2 pounds for my pasty), especially given the quality and size. The staff is also very cheerful, friendly and helpful, and patiently listed all the ingredients in the pasty when asked. Definitely recommend this bakery. Glad that I stumbled upon it.

Looks like a traditional English bakery, with good old classics such as sausage rolls and muffins. The lady who works here was really friendly and helpful! I had a muffin and a cherry shortbread. It was very delicious and cheap! If you are going for a stroll at Severn Beach, this place is definitely a good choice to get some goodies.

Good old-fashioned bakery, great food and cakes. Get a takeaway coffee and go up on the sea front.

This is a brilliant bakery that sells wonderful products. The various sourdough breads are some of the best I've tasted and there's an excellent choice. I've also purchased some of the tasty choice of cakes and pastries and I have never been disappointed. Whether you take them home or enjoy them with a coffee at the outside tables it's definitely worth a visit. The staff are friendly, helpful and really appreciate your custom which makes it a perfect place to visit.

Absolutely fantastic breads and pastries. The only problem is having to drive 10 miles just to get to the bakery but it's worth it.

Love this place. A great community asset that draws people from near and far for quality produce. We particularly enjoy the fougasse and sourdough loaves. Staff always so friendly and helpful despite being really busy. Keep supporting this place.

You guys deserve an OBE. I'm serious! We've got so used to supermarket breads of the awfullest quality that, places like yours are something I had stopped hoping even existed, a long time ago. The sourdoughs are possibly the best I've ever tried and the bacon and brie sourdough sandwich with salad (pictured) should be the new standard for every Britons' lunch. I love you 👏👏👏

I always love to call in to the Forest Bakehouse as they have top notch sourdough and yeasted bread as well as "far too tempting" snacks. The staff are always so welcoming and their continued success is well deserved!

Fantastic bakery, with good parking and some covered outdoor seating. Croissants to die for.
