I was a little worried at first, everyone was a bit dressed up for a Tuesday afternoon, however we soon forgot that as had a fantastic lunch from start to finish. Oysters on the half shell to start, then the mixed seafood grill which had squid and shrimp, but the best dish was the grilled octopus!! I would highly recommend it even if you have never tried octopus before, you’ll be converted!!

One of the worst restaurants in the neighborhood. This place is so over-rated and expensive for what you get in return. The waitress brought me a bunch of appetizers which I didn't order so refused. But she acted like she didn't understand English and left them on my table. By the way, she later conversed with me in English. The soup was so salty and half cold. It felt like it was cooked a long time ago and they used a microwave to heat it up. The main dish also was so salty and taste-less. I think their chef is heavy on salt. The ambience was okay. They tried to impress me with the fresh seafood on display at the front. But overall experience is terrible since the food is sub-par. There's this Michelin rated sticker at the front door which is surprising. I would not go back to this place.

Wonderful restaurant with high class food and service. Alot of fish dishes to choose from and also some very nice meat courses. Not to pricey, we were 5 persons and had a 3 course meal and drinks for approx. 145 euro. Will definitely come back here next time in Portugal.

Fantastic food! The sea food is absolutely amazing! Would definitely recommend, and the staff are really friendly too! I particularly love the crab dish and prawns, and their red berry sangria is really good!

Food tastes great, very pricey Was annoyed as they brought a huge fish split in two to the table, then proceeded to de bone and remove almost 90% of the fish, was given a tiny piece and she took away the plate full of fish and crispy skin, I wanted the original plate!! Tiny portion could've eaten it 5 times over and at €40 a pop not happy. Just let the customer decide if they want your awful de-bone service...

So, so...will not return.

We came here for lunch and we ask for two menus (leitao plus salad and dessert) the leitao is delicious however I wish they weren’t so stingy with the leitao, the pieces we got had almost no meat, don’t get me wrong I would still comeback to this restaurant and next time would order half piglet, I don’t care about the dessert the cheesecake horrible packed with gelatine, they suggested a really nice wine to pair with the food and it was really nice.

I ate the house speciality, roasted piglet. It was very salty, yet done well. A third of the portion was bones. Sauce tasted only black pepper. Potatoes were just like you get from a bag, very salty too.

Very good food, but small menu, they should deversify a bit the offer is solid but conventional.

Very good value for a seafood platter and three starters, all of the finest fish. I go back and have it all again. The restaurant looks a bit tired but who cares when the shellfish is so delicious. We had an epic sea view of crashing waves as a storm passed us while we sat snuggly under glass. The chips were impossible to eat with a fork as they were so crisp, I had to use my hands in the end - good though they could be fatter for ease. Go have the platter though the fish lasagna looked good and they do sushi too.

Came for lunch. Took some time to settle down as on veranda cant order full meal 🤷🏻‍♀️. Poor air ventilation. Really hot inside. Ordered the biggest platters and 4 different starters. Oysters: 1 out of 2 not fresh. Food good but not more than that. Water available only in tiny bottles 4 euros per each 150 ml. Though in the other tables could see bigger bottles. Toilet is disgustingly dirty. Cant understand why such a high rating for this place. Only view is amazing!

Hello i would say goodnight but just night because there was no good night tonight . We arrived at what we thought was a nice spot, nice beach view but as soon as we walked in we told the hostess that we made a reservation through a call a day prior. the lady told us that we had a reserved table and one second later she told us we didn’t and how we had to sit in the waiting room to get out of the way, this caught us off guard because she could’ve said it in a nicer tone but whatever. we get sat down and ordered our meals at 8, the first plate only arrived at 9:30 and that was an appetizer… of clams…. when the food arrived everything came very scattered and my plate came but without the sides, the sides took an additional 30 min to arrive back at the table when i had already aten the meal so it wouldn’t get cold. We brought this to attention to our serve Rui, who was a disrespectful bastard. He would not apologize for the delay of the food, instead he would say that we were wrong and that the food always comes out like that. not to mention it was very cold so we asked for blankets as they said they had and we had to ask an additional 5 more times for the blankets…. bizarre… Then rui the server dropped a cup on my husband head and with that he still blamed us for everything. I wish the restaurant the best but i respectfully will never show up again.

Start to finish an incredible dinning experience. The wait staff was extremely attentive and helpful especially trying to work through the English/Portuguese language barrier. To start we had the Katsu sandwich was extremely tender and well prepared. Would highly recommend! We then had a selection of sashimi, nigiri and various rolls. The presentation was artful and well thought out. The freshness and quality of the fish really stood out. The highlight for us was the makitaki roll. Was an incredible combination of flavours coming together in a roll. So unique and one of the best rolls I’ve had. Lastly we finished with a tasty passion fruit cheesecake. Would HIGHLY recommend Momo if you’re in Póvoa Varzim.

I was surprised at the end when I pay for something I had not ordered (pao caseiro e hummus).Waitress told me that this is couvert but we paid 2.5 euro and couvert in the menu is 1.8 euro.I don’t have a problem about 2 or 5 euro extra in my bill but at least to ask me if I want couvert(bread for couvert and our main dish which includes rice is not good combination).In top of that when we finished with our drinks we had to wait and wave to the waitress when in the restaurant was only two tables occupied for two waitresses.Food was delicious with a bitter post taste from the situation .

The quality of the meal was not bad, but far from the price point. Tuna fish was dark as if it was not fresh. I hardly rate something with one star, but the current rating does not make justice of the experience we have had.

Good sushi, nice place. Very bad service. We went there on a Saturday night. We knew we're going to wait, but not this long... Once we arrive it took a while until the waiters noticed us and allocate us to a table. 5 minutes later and we still didn't have a menu, after that it took another 5mins to give us pen and paper. From the order to the hot food being served took another 10 mins. From that to the actual sushi took about 25minutes. Besides all of this some orders were forgotten and we're continuously been asked if that was it; meaning that we had enough food and should leave. The service wasn't a match with the good quality of the food.

A nice place to get some sushi. We ate here with 4 friends on a Monday and everything was really fresh and delicious. Everyone was really friendly and we can totally recommend eating here. Be sure to be here early as it quickly gets crowded and might be hard to get a table on weekends.

Food was amazing. Had to wait 45 minutes to an hour for our first food. (Busy take-away, which is understandable) but people that came in after us got food sooner. Few orders got lost, some orders only filled half. Exquisite taste, though.

To much expensive, slow service and the owners was very rude. It is already the 3 restaurant they open, as the others, 1 closed and the other on the way to closing. The employees stir up leftover money and even cut the fruit to serve without any hygiene or gloves. I was their client for some time but I already gave up with everything that is seen.

My pilgrim brothers and sisters, this one is a must try! The food is amazing, and cheap. Jaw droppinly cheap for this taste and portion size, at least compared to UK. Don't like sushi? Maybe this place will make you change your mind 😁

We tried all the restaurants in the region, we like to discover new places, but THIS one stays our favorite 😍. So simple, charming, professional, always fresh food, fast service, kind personal, attentive and VERY TASTY! Perfect menu, no glamor and snobby atmosphere, perfect with small and big children! Lovely place Japanese and Chinese resto, they do an all you can eat for £14.90 for lunch. Every dish was delicious and well presented. My fave is their noodle dish and grillled prawns. Worth a visit if you are in Povoa de Varzim

One of the best buffets (all you can eat) in the north of Portugal. I’m very picky and my two boys don’t even like sushi, and they love this place. It has a lot of variety even for kids, but all super fresh and delicious. The sushi is top notch, and the service is always super friendly and quick. I go there at least once a week if I can. The vibe is super nice and even when it’s a full house (weekends) it’s super fast, and the food still maintains the quality. I can’t recommend this enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
