Caramel Patisserie is a cozy café tucked away in central Ubud, perfect for dessert lovers. Level 1 has limited seating with air-con, but there’s more space on the second floor, including an open-air terrace that’s peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the salted caramel cake and coffee—m both were rich, balanced, and beautifully presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. A charming spot for cakes, coffee, and quiet time away from the busy streets.
I ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday here. All our communication via WhatsApp was smooth, their responses were quick. All my requests were taken into consideration, the cake was delivered to our villa on time, it looked great and tasted delicious. We ordered a chocolate one. Highly recommend this place. I found the staff very responsive and reliable.
Just had my birthday cake from Caramel Patisserie and wow! It was so damn delicious! You can really feel the love and passion they put into their craft. My chocolate cake was not only beautifully made, but the taste was next level. I could really taste the rich dark chocolate and the perfect balance in the cake mix, so moist, so yum! Honestly, one of the best cakes I’ve ever had in Bali. Highly recommend for anyone who truly appreciates quality desserts! 🍫🎂✨

Away from the hussle and bussle of Central Ubud is Caramel. Small in size but big on taste. Staff are extremely friendly and a cozy atmosphere. If you are wandering around and need a nice cold drink and a slice of cake then drop in.

Lovely dessert and drink combo!
Tried their strawberry shortcake and tiramisu mille crepe — both were light, creamy, and not overly sweet. Paired perfectly with their iced chocolate and topped with whipped cream. The presentation was beautiful, and everything tasted as good as it looked. Great spot for a relaxing afternoon treat!
Great tasting cakes with generous portions. Tried their Mille Crepe and Strawberry Shortcake, both were delish! Soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of sweetness. Slices were generous, best to share. Good price for its quality and portion. I’d come back again for their other cakes. Recommended!
Delicious local food at affordable price as compared to other cafes in this vicinity! The interior is a bit worn-out but didn't affect the experience here as the food, service, price are all decent! I would say it is so underrated as people usually go to IG/XHS recomm ones like Fold and Pison etc (nothing against them). Hope to have more people show this cafe some support! :)
We got the tiramisu crepe, there was no tiramisu taste at all!!! just a bunch of poor quality cream. The cake piece didn’t even stand up right it all mushed down after the first bite. The cream did not look fresh at all. There’s also no toilet inside and had to use the public one outside. Very disappointed!
I have sweet tooth.
However the cake from this place didn’t really satisfy my sugar craving.
I tried several menu here:
1. The tiramisu crepes didn’t have any taste of tiramisu.
2. The donut was terrible — it was a bit dry.
3. Meringue - it’s ok
4. Matcha — not so bad.
5. Turmeric jamu — its was quite nice, I liked it.
My friend tried matcha crepes, I didn’t really how did it taste tho.
The place itself was not comfy at all. It was like an old store, everything was placed anywhere they could, the lighting and the paint made the place seemed sooo gloomy!
The toilet was outside!
And when I went there, they were under construction and it was raining, so just imagine 😌
The waitress were amazing, but the parking guy was questionable!
There was another car behind ours, so we asked for his help.
He said wait and he kept smiling watching tiktok on his phone!
So yeah we waited for a minute in the drizzling night while he watched tiktok 😂
So overall, I see nothing special about this place.

I feel cheated and need to share it.
I asked twice what was inside the almond croissant, and both times they told me it was filled with almond cream. Dear staff, can you see the almond cream in the photo? I'm not, not even with glasses.
I should have left the croissant right after you gave it to me, since it already felt dry and old to the touch, but I thought I was unlucky to have had that, I simply asked for another one, but unfortunately the second one was the same too 😅 and to top it off: I paid 35,000 + 10%.
Not only did you lie to me, but you also made me pay a lot of money for a product that ended up in the trash.
Luckily, not all the business are like your, and there are plenty of honest people out there. I would have given 0 stars if I could. Never again.

✅ despite there being no WiFi, the owner let me use his hotspot which was very kind!
✅ lots of regulars came in, so it’s clearly a well-loved spot
✅ I was the only sit-in customer for over an hour so it’s nice and uncrowded
✅ chocolate babka was amazing and served warm
❌ only four tables and a work bench, so not many seating options
❌ looks on to a busy road so it’s quite loud

Everything was very delicious, especially the iced latte and the iced matcha – they were prepared with great care and love, and you could really taste that. The pastries were also super tasty. It’s a lovely place to sit, and the staff is really kind and friendly.

Impressed with the vegan pastries - I tried the curry puff and chocolate puff on the two times I visited. Flaky and not like most vegan bakes. I also tried their coffee with oat milk which was great! Small and homely. Do take note that they are open early at 7am and close at 3pm. The first time I went, I arrived close to 3pm and they still let me hang around :)

Decent breakfast and cafe food. There are quite a bit of options if looking for a sandwich so doing brunch here is a great idea!
The coffee is nice and aromatic. The decor is cool with the whole wooden spoon concept that also ties in with the quintessential Bali teak spoon souvenir!
We had a bagel sandwich and a regular sandwich and both were good! There are many fresh baked items on display that you can grab as well. The pricing is a little bit on the higher side. Personally we felt that the pricing plus have been a little lower to match the quality of the food.
All in all, a good place to get some breakfast, brunch or coffee!
We visited Monsieur Spoon in Ubud and really enjoyed the calm atmosphere and lovely interior, especially the wall decorated with wooden spoons. The drinks were fresh and tasty, perfect for a mid-day break. However, the apple cinnamon cake was a bit disappointing. It looked good, but it wasn’t sweet at all, so it mostly tasted like plain apple and cinnamon powder. Still, it’s a nice spot to sit and relax, especially if you’re looking for a quiet place with a cozy vibe.
The restaurant itself is very nice, with a nice outdoor seating area. We were disappointed in the quality of food. I got a healthy smoothie bowl that was not to the same standard of the quality shown in the menu, as it was very runny (like a soup). They were also unfortunately out of coconut flakes. My partner’s quiche was also not up to standard with the price. However, the servers were very nice.
Hidden gem that doesn't look like much from outside but perfect for early breakfast as it opens from 7am. My hot chocolate was hot and strong while I had an unusual beef pastry with lightly spiced beef.

Shame to discover it on my last day.
It was the worst chocolate I've ever had in my life. It was falling apart, tasted different, and was very dry. In other words, it was exactly how it shouldn't be. Normally, their desserts are good, but this time I wasn't satisfied with either the drink or the dessert. If you heat up an old dessert, it becomes so burnt and dry that it's just right. The waiter offered to bring a new one, but he also asked for an extra 15 minutes for the dessert I had been waiting for for half an hour.
The burger was really messy to eat but packed with flavor—no complaints on the taste front. The pistachio cake, though, was a letdown—looked the part but lacked that real pistachio punch, just color with no soul. Cheesecake and tart were decent, nothing mind-blowing. But the cheese &almond croissant and iced coffee? Straight 10/10. Flaky, rich, and that coffee hit just right. Would roll back for those alone.
The bakery stuff is good, had a vanilla chocolate croissant and an almond croissant.

This is a great early spot as there do not seem to be manu in Ubud (most open around 7am), we stopped here at 6am for coffee and a bite to eat, before heading out sites seeing. Did not disappoint with an abundance of pastries, and a great breakfast menu, coffee was also delicious!!
Simple bakery/cafe that focuses on the sale of baked goods - croissants, pain au chocolate, pies, cakes, etc. Most of which comes in a small or big portion, giving flexibility for customers' preferences. Prices are reasonable for such freshly baked goods. Aside from that, they do offer coffee/tea as part of their menu.
Bakery is located on the first floor for takeaways and dining-in is available on the second floor.
Would recommend this place to customers who want a quick bite before starting their day as it opens early.
This bakery feels like a fast-food spot, but for French bread. The croissant is tasty, though the baguette was a bit too hard for me. The place isn’t very cozy for a long stay, and parking is quite limited, which can be inconvenient.
I recently visited Daily Baguette in Ubud and tried their plain croissant, raisin danish, and banana cake.
The plain croissant was light, buttery, and flaky—just the way a good croissant should be. The raisin danish had a nice balance of sweetness and texture, with juicy raisins inside soft layers of pastry. The banana cake was moist, fragrant, and not overly sweet, making it a perfect afternoon treat with coffee.
Daily Baguette felt and tasted just like being in a French bakery.
The croissants and pain au chocolat tasted absolutely amazing. The real highlight, however, were the filled baguettes. The quality of the baguette is breathtaking – it smells and tastes just like in France itself. The same goes for the croissants and pain au chocolat.
The coffee with our food was excellent as well. We had the iced latte with vanilla several times, as well as the praline iced latte.
All in all, absolutely recommended!
Very good bakery in Ubud centre. We had tuna sandwich, Brekkie sandwich (which is omelette and feta cheese) and some slices of cake. They were all so delicious. Quick lunch for my last day in Ubud.
Came here on my last visit to Ubud and knew I was coming back. Treated myself to a coffee and a selection of the small desserts (what a great option). All so delicious. Highly recommend, sit upstairs and watch the world go by.

I ordered vegan burrito wrap and it was so delicious. The coffee is equally amazing, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming especially the owner, Gek Ida is so friendly. Perfect spot to relax, work, or catch up with friends. Highly recommend stopping by!

I ordered the Smoked Ham Breakfast Sandwich and I highly recommend it! I also ordered the cinnamon brioche. It wasn’t overly sweet, just enough. Reminded me of a cinnamon roll but less heavy. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We got here at about 9:30am and were the only ones there. Perfect timing.
I visited three days in a row because it was just that good! The eggplant toast is an absolute must-try, and the caramel latte and chocolate croissant are also incredible. Google reviews were definitely right about this place!
Love this place! It's a cute cafe with a variety of dishes, smoothies, smoothie and yogurt bowls, breakfast sandwiches, platters and also delicious wraps and desserts. I enjoyed their different types of hot teas, especially the ginger honey one. I also enjoyed their veggie breakfast wraps and yogurt bowl with fruits.
They're so sweet and willing to make alterations based on your needs. The service was always fantastic. They have wifi as well. It's a smaller place with four tables inside and four outside so it's not a great place for long term lounging because they're usually fairly busy.

Nice little cafe off the Main Street that we ate at on the way to the monkey sanctuary. Clearly labeled vegetarian and vegan options, non dairy milks, super nice staff. Place is small so no large groups, which was perfect for us.

We tried the fish curry and the seafood paella—both local-style dishes recommended by the staff—and they did not steer us wrong. The flavors were rich, fresh, and beautifully balanced.
They also had a great happy hour deal, which made the experience even better. The cocktails were well-crafted and paired perfectly with the meal.
A special shoutout to Novi, who made the evening even more enjoyable with her warm hospitality and friendly conversation. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back. Highly recommend!

Casa Luna – A True Taste of Ubud
An authentic Balinese restaurant nestled in the heart of Ubud’s central street. Casa Luna feels genuine and full of character, with traditional décor and warm Bali vibes that make it a charming and relaxing stop — just steps away from Ubud Palace and the Water Palace.
The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, dressed in traditional Balinese attire that adds to the cultural experience.
The food is delicious and well-prepared. I especially enjoyed the chicken satay, which stood out as my favorite. The pasta and fish & chips were also surprisingly good — a nice fusion for every palate. Don’t miss out on their desserts either.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy tasty food in an authentic and relaxed setting in the heart of Ubud.
I travelled all the way from London and this little gem in Bali made the journey even sweeter!
The carrot cake was moist and topped with the creamiest frosting — honestly one of the best my wife had.
The vanilla cake was beautifully light yet rich in flavor, and the lemon meringue was a showstopper: zesty, refreshing, and balanced with just the right amount of sweetness.
On top of the delicious desserts, the customer service was outstanding. The staff were so warm, welcoming, and attentive, making me feel right at home. You can tell they truly care about their guests’ experience.

Casa Luna in Ubud is absolutely beautiful. The food is amazing — full of flavour and so fresh. The whole place has a peaceful Buddha vibe that I loved, and even the toilets were spotless.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the service was great both times I visited.
I’ve come here twice during my stay in Ubud and would happily come back again. Highly recommend. 💛✨
Amazing place, they also own honeymoon bakery and hotel close by:
- sourdough (best sourdough ever) I also bake bread but their bread was too good.
Tried their pulled pork eggs Benedict with sourdough and it was brilliant
- they have Balinese cooking classes which should be booked 1 day prior - didn’t try but wish I had known earlier
- croissants are fresh , flaky and buttery

I'd give it 10 stars. Our favorite place in Bali. We went here 5 out of the 7 days we were in Ubud. The coffee and desserts are delicious. The staff are so sweet and friendly. The place is big and spacious, so you can comfortably sit and chat. The interior is lovely. It's not exactly in the city center, but it's an easy walk. One evening, when we wanted tea, they offered us a lemongrass mixed brew, and we loved it! Nothing we ate was disappointing. They use bottled water, which is safe and clean. Definitely go and try it! 💞

Always nice experience whenever I went to Bali Buda and spent a little longer at their cafe! I just wish I could have afforded more than what I did here cause I honestly craved everything there, it’s just my wallet didn’t allow me to😅 (yet). Bali Buda is a true classic. At first, we only stopped by to shop at the market, but recently we tried the café — and now I want to come back 1–2 times a week!
Everything I’ve eaten here has been both delicious and light. I especially love the balance of vegetables in their bowls, the tasty sandwiches (being able to choose your bread is a nice touch), and their apple crumble cake, which I can never resist. And the Bali coffee is simply amazing — full of flavor, smooth, and never heavy, even if you drink a lot. Also the mint lemonade is a must try.
I feel the café deserves a higher rating than some reviews suggest, but of course, taste is personal. For me, it has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Ubud. Plus, you can always find your favorite products — and many more healthy options — in their mini market afterward.
We got the Super Berry and Dosha Balancing smoothies. They were so delicious that we ended up ordering two more drinks. Their fresh lemonade drinks were amazing as well. They also have a Muslim prayer room!!
The quality of the products was very good, but the air conditioning was barely on (set to 28°C) on a very hot and sunny day. We were sweating while waiting for our breakfast, which made the experience quite uncomfortable and not up to the usual Bali Buda standard.

I had viral infection 2 days ago and decided to go to Bali Buda and asked staff what is your recommendation for me, and he suggested me anti biotic natural they made themselves, and the day after all my symptoms disappeared so quick, early morning I could finally get rid of mucus that was stuck inside my throat and made the inflammation. Afterwards my body felt light and much better instantly. Thank you 🙏🏻 If You have viral infection or flu get this drink I highly recommend you. It is called NATURAL ANTIBIOTIC.

The lunch menu looked very good too but unfortunately it only started at 12pm. The place is very large, sporting about 4 seperate-feeling locations to sit and order from. The service was a bit slow but I feel like that comes with having such a large venue. The staff were all friendly, the music was good, and the views overlooking the rice fields were a nice reprieve from the cramped central Ubud.

For coffee lovers, the Long Black Coffee is top-notch—strong, aromatic, and high quality. They also offer delightful non-coffee drinks like the refreshing Matcha Latte, rich Cocoa, and the warming Masala Latte.
However, the absolute star is the food! The Snikers Cake is simply amazing and a must-try dessert. The Chocolate Cookie and Doughnut are perfect pairings. Highly recommend Ruster for the perfect combination of chill ambiance, excellent coffee, and delicious baked goods!

I heard about Ruster Bali about a year ago from an architect friend, but didn’t manage to visit until now — and honestly, I regret not coming earlier! Why did I only discover this gem recently?
Ruster Bali is such a beautiful and refreshing space. The atmosphere is calming, the design is thoughtful, and the service is genuinely warm. Their food and coffee are crafted with so much care — you can feel the heart behind everything they serve.
And it’s not just a place to eat. There’s so much you can do here: the pottery classes are inspiring, and the workspace area has quickly become one of my favourite spots to settle in and be productive.
It’s the perfect place to slow down, reflect, create, and enjoy good flavours in a peaceful setting. Highly recommended!

Perfect morning fix!! So whenever I crave GOOOD DONUTS dough darling is my go to place in Bali they have multiple branches and I love their donuts. So light and airy and flavour is just to die for. My fave is dark chocolate one. You gotta give it a try. I wish I could bring these back home for my nephew cause he loves donuts as much as I do. Highly highly recommended.

I plan to buy some boxes of doughnuts here for my teachers and the staff at our guest house. The quality is good and they have boxes you can use to say thank you to the many staff who serve holiday makers! The inside of the place is small and better suited as a takeaway rather than a dine in cafe experience but then again, it is doughnuts, so meant to be a quick bite. There are seats inside though if you so choose to eat there.

Our experience here came with high hopes but unfortunately on the day we came here the food was not as good as it should be . We ordered the ricotta pancakes and they came cold, this means they are ore cooked, and it also might mean the forgot to microwave them before serving . The food is amazing! My favorite is Ayam Bakar Sereh. It’s very delicious! And it’s my second time come to this place.
However, one thing that makes me sad is the interior design and concept, which it lacks of consciousness and its relation to the environment surrounding it even though the cafe has a wonderful view overlooking the paddy fields - it’s just beautiful. I think they could have done a better job by re-organizing and re-concept the cafe and trying to connect the design with its existing environment - connecting it with the nature. It’s just very sad to see them add artificial grass instead of the real grass into the concept. Another thing is the tirm the plants that stick to the existing tree.
A good ambience to hang out with rice field view. Comfort vibe and I love how this man sang, really lighten up the mood. The price is reasonable, start from 18K! Because I know only quite few place in Ubud with this price range. Many locals go here which is awesome! Also the staff are so lovely. Would recommend this place to anyone!

I do enjoy this place a lot. The vegan bagel a little tasteless (maybe add something thay brings in a kick of salt), the classic NYC I really enjoy, the coffee is nice and also the cinnamon rolls (they have vegan!) Is really good.
I do think theyre loosing out on customers not having a breakfast deal but only a lunch one (starting at 12) when bagel is more of a breakfast meal for me. Theres many people driving that way to and from the gym who would probably stop there more in the morning 🫶
I haven’t been to the restaurant but ordered via Grab, the two vegan cinnamon rolls were amazing, especially the salted caramel. They were slightly warm and gooey. Best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had. Wish I would‘ve tried them earlier in our trip, but will definitely order again next time I‘m here.
Surprisingly good. The cinnamon rolls are delivered after a wait — but they arrive soft and warm, such a treat. We ordered the cream cheese and original flavours. The centre tasted a tiny bit raw for my cream cheese cinnamon roll though. We also had the Oreo and cheesecake ice cream, which were okay. Sit upstairs for less road noise and a nicer ambience. They also provide a small glass of water, which helps with all the sweetness.

Went here for dinner. The place is famous for its desserts, but I decided to try the meals first. Ordered the Half & Half Pizza, really convenient since you can mix two flavors. I chose the Hawaiian and Kakiang Gourmet, which actually tasted quite similar, except the Hawaiian had pineapple cuts on top.
Also tried the Caesar Salad Chicken and the Cream Spaghetti, both were nice. Anyway, never skip dessert here, the Tiramisu Mille Crepe is a must-try! 😁 they also have 50% discount on pastries and toast, though keep in mind the expiry date is only until the next afternoon.
The ambience is lovely with a tropical garden vibe. Just a note: it might not be very kid-friendly since the garden has stones and wooden blocks, so kids should be careful as there’s a risk of tripping over.
Kakiang Garden Café is such a lovely hidden gem in Ubud! The place feels peaceful and surrounded by lush greenery, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some quiet time. I loved the cozy garden vibe and the beautiful natural light that comes through.
Their matcha latte and tiramisu crepe cake were absolutely delicious, the perfect combo for a sunny afternoon. The staff were kind and friendly, and everything felt warm and welcoming.

Brought here for dinner by local friends, and I'm surprised that a beautiful place like this exists here in Ubud. This garden cafe truly stands out in terms of selection and price. Unlike in the town area, things here are very reasonable and quite good.
My dinner was simple with a main course and desserts, seating outdoors among the plants. Service can be improved a bit as they take time to attend when you use the call button. Overall, it was a very good experience and, most importantly, reasonable, nice, and quiet. Lots of parking, too.

Loved everything about this desserts shop. From the honest ingredients list next to each cake, the very nice and friendly employee Ayu, design of the small shop and of course the tasty cakes!
This is my type of shop as they don’t use refined sugar as ingredient and the cakes are not too sweet. The bland of the ingredients are so good. I wish all dessert shops would be this way. Would come back here definitely.

We ordered chocolate brownie and devils choc orange cake. Both were delicious , but the choc orange cake was the highlight. The choc brownie was more like a chocolate slice than a brownie but still yummy.
I give De La Vega 100/10. They offer a variety of cakes, each with ingredients and calorie information clearly listed. I tried the Devil's Orange 🍊 cake, and it was absolutely delightful—my mouth melted with every bite!
I stumbled upon this cute cake shop on a stroll and decided to give it a try and is was the best decision! The carrot cake I tried was heavenly and tasted like speculoos cookies and cini minis… It has been a long time since I had some sweets as I am vegan, gluten-free and also sugar free but Laura’s Cakes made it possible✨
They also had vegetarian cakes, cookies and brownies, plates, mugs and drinks like kombucha.
Laura the owner is a super sweet one, she even managed to bake me a small last minute birthday cake, since I forgot completely to organize it🫶🏼
My family was amazed too and I can highly recommend you to try De la Vega. They only use natural ingredients and the cakes taste amazing!

This is one of the BEST home made Australian style pie that I’ve ever had in Bali!!!

We walked to the Pie Lady Bali shop different generation making the pies but what great pies they are. We had chicken and mushroom, feta and spinach and an apple pie, all were delicious only wished we had vanilla ice cream to go with the apple pie. You have to order three days in advance as they have a lot of hotel and restaurant orders . We thoroughly recommend that you try these delicious pies. Don't miss out

Natys Cafe & Bakery Ubud is a charming spot where the food, cocktails, and service are all top-notch. The staff, including servers like Katana and Ogi, are lovely and humble, serving with love and efficiency. The chef takes pride in their work, ensuring that dishes like the beef cheese burger or smokey pizza are delightful. Specials like buy 1 get 1 free main course make dining here even more enjoyable.
We had a lovely breakfast here! We got caramel iced lattes which tasted perfect and the smoked salmon and egg sourdough tasted so fresh and flavoursome! It was in a breakfast deal- choose any breakfast item and get a free coffee! ALL the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and were always checking on us to see if everything was okay! There were such cool seating areas here too, and everything was so affordable! This is why I give Natys Bar & Grill Ubud 5 stars and would definitely recommend eating here!

Visited Natsys mainly for its wonderful location from the first floor you get a lovely view of the lanes of Ubud. The vibe of this place is really nice, with a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were warm and attentive, offering excellent service throughout.
We went for the steak and grill special, trying both the beef steak and mixed salmon grill. While the presentation was good and the effort appreciated, the dishes were unfortunately not as flavorful or tender as expected. Both turned out a bit dry and chewy, which was surprising considering their premium pricing.
That said, the overall dining experience was pleasant thanks to the ambiance and the service

While strolling through the neighborhood, I unexpectedly discovered this charming spot. I enjoyed my ice cream, and to my delight, they offered truffles, mini cakes, macarons, and other bite-sized treats. I’d highly recommend stopping by!

Highly recommend getting a coffee to have with these beautiful treats, I didn't get one on this occasion but definitely would next time. There are an assortment of yummy cakes, macarons, chocolates, ice creams etc here and all reasonably priced as well. Staff are friendly, attentive and helpful.
