The cheesecake all by itself earns the five stars! So fluffy and tasty! The bakery has a wide selection of the usual bakery items and also basic coffee and tea. The food is all good. There is seating inside and out on a terrace, although that gets very hot in summer.

I recommend you to try the famous delicious Rikuro’s cheese cake here, there will be a free drinks (coffee or tea) and last but not least you can enjoy the outside view...

Not very crowded... as we know the cake is so fluffy and soft with a hint of cheese that makes you feel less guilty eating it. It is kind of sad it only open up to 7 pm. You can get free coffee for every purchase of cheesecake. You will absolutely love this place to hang out and eat light.

Sunnyside Takatsuki Okamoto is a pastery shop located near to Imashirozuka Kofun. The pastery are bake freshly at the shop. They are very nice sandwitch, breads, biscuits where you can choose from. Indoor and outdoor sitting is available at the shop. Many parking lots are available outside the shop. I bought many variaty and choose the sit outside. The sparrow are waiting for the crumps.

Sucks We tried to have breakfast on the terrace with our small dog and it didin’t take 1 Minute for the waitress to ask us to leave the dog literally a few steps in front of us at a designated spot for dogs. Especially for us, who came from Germany, this is outrageous to being asked to leave the dog as I already stated only few steps in front of us, despite having the dog on our knees and taking good care of it, while not causing any noise or disturbances. We won’t come back to this place, it’s just sad how an normal morning breakfast can be so easily destroyed by such an silly act.

DEC 2024 Came here in the morning and ordered several limited time only donuts including two Pokemon themed ones. The Pikachu was a soft donut filled with whipped cream and coated with a caramel chocolate glaze, light and mildly sweet. The Diglett was a choux puff filled with the same whipped cream and coated with a milk chocolate glaze, and comes with a mochi donut ring coated in white chocolate and some chocolate crumbing. The contrasting textures of the donut and the chocolate flavor made it more enjoyable than the Pikachu donut. The chocolate mochi ring donut was more chocolatey but not too sweet. The last one I tried was a savory Taiwanese special peppery minced pork in a puff pie pastry which was flaky; flavor was decent but it was cold. Would have been nice if the staff have offered to heat up the pie pastry for dine-in.

After an exhausting day traipsing around Kyoto we stumbled over this Mister Donut in Kyoto station and we're revived with a good cup of coffee and the best donuts you'll find anywhere. Good seating for people watching as you overlook the central gateway to the station.

It was interesting to see a Mister Donut/ Pie Face because most Pie Face chains have closed where I am from. It is conveniently located in Kyoto station.
