The place has a special charm, with a beautifully traditional atmosphere that feels truly authentic. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious, clearly made with care and quality ingredients. The staff were warm, friendly, and more than happy to help with recommendations and packaging for travel. A wonderful experience overall - highly recommended if you’re looking to take home a real sweet taste of Mallorca!

Wonderful traditional bakery in the centre of Palma. A must visit for any foodie. Some of the savoury choices were amazing. I'm an (English) pork pie lover and was interested to try the traditional Mallorcan pork and pea pie. Nothing at all like English pork pies, but utterly delicious 😋. Great for a quick lunch. My son and I went two days running just to eat the pork pie 🥧. Yum.

Fantastic food, we bought a selection of savoury and sweet treats, all were amazing, however the pork and peas pie stole the show. The best pie I have ever had. The cafe next door allows you to eat pastries from this shop if you buy their coffee, which average, but still very convenient.

We tried this cute, Spanish café today and can only recommend it. The inside is absolutely beautiful, with old wood furniture and elegant decoration, it creates a cozy atmosphere. There was a polite waiter who was really friendly and brought us our order fast. To the food I can only say: try it! The cake is delicious, rich in flavour, the ice cream soo creamy and the Horchata was extremely good. If you wanna have an authentic café experience you should definitely check this café out :)

We discovered this café while searching for a place to have coffee on Google Maps. After reading the many positive reviews, we decided to visit and it was absolutely worth it. The staff was very friendly and the food we tried was delicious. It may not be an extraordinary place, but the interior design and unique character give it a very special charm. It feels like stepping into a café from the 1940s or 1950s. We especially loved the decorative tiles and the bright and airy atmosphere inside. If you are nearby, it is definitely worth visiting for a drink or a meal. You will leave happy.

So actually there's a few of these dotted around Palma, but I think this one was the original ? The decor was certainly "authentic" and rustic. I purchased an ensemaida and a hot chocolate with whipped cream. Absolutely delightful and a huge amount of calories 😂 but with it. Hot chocolate was half cream and definitely very rich and indulgent. The ensemaida was really light with a crispy crust to it.

This place is amazing! Founded in 1700, it's a 325-year-old classic. The vibe and interior decor get a full score from me. ​The coffee is seriously good, and you absolutely have to try their specialty Quarto and Ensaimada—they are delicious! ​Just a heads-up: it gets super crowded, so while you can usually grab a seat, waiting for your order might take a while. But trust me, the history and the taste make it totally worth the wait!

We discovered Ca’n Joan de s’Aigo with my friends, and we just loved it! It’s a real local gem with a cozy, traditional atmosphere. Found this place randomly while searching for “ensaïmadas” on Google Maps and I was extremely surprised. They had several different pastries and I don’t regret trying any of them. Everything is so tasty, the place is cozy, the staff is nice, and the prices are affordable. What a hidden gem!

All in all, incredibly tasty! The saleswoman was very friendly and the location is central. Sitting and enjoying your food on site isn’t quite as charming as on the nearby square. Prices are high, but there’s a good selection and everything tastes delicious!

Searched for a bakery to buy a snack on our walk through the city of Palma, and found this gem (among some others in close vicinity). Too bad, if you would be close to my hotel where we were staying I would definitely be a daily customer. Almond croissant was just one of the best, really good. Everything in the bakery, including bread etc. looked delicious, would definitely tried it. Also very friendly lady working in the shop. It is possible to pay with card.

I was looking for a place where to buy a buckwheat bread and somebody recommended this bakery. Came early morning and they had plenty of different types of bread, all smelling delicious. The buckwheat bread is very tasty, happy to find a place where it’s made. They also sell coffee, expensive but very good.

Amazing sourdough loaf! Almond croissant was crisp and delicate with a soft floral filling, apple strudel was generously filled with a powerful apple flavor, and an impeccable pan au chocolat. Old world style pretzel blew me away... a lovely kind, patient staff with good english, even! Really made my day. And I must reiterate, that sourdough boule had the perfect balance of textures you only get through time and attention. Don't miss this one!

Best bakery in Mallorca for me. Bread is amazing, pan au chocolat flaky on the outside, filled with dark chocolate and buttery inside. Fougasse is a favourite too. Also have books in multiple languages available! Doesnt get better than this!!

What a treat! Horno Santo Cristo is a must-visit spot inside the Fan shopping center. I highly recommend their chocolate ensaïmadas and the cinnamon rolls—both were absolutely delicious and a perfect indulgence. While the service was a bit slow, the quality of the pastries more than made up for it. It's great that they have tables inside, so you can sit down and enjoy your treat with a coffee. Don't miss it!

The traditional local backed dessert and they are so tasty! I love the chocolate one and my Spanish friend loves the original one. They are packed in these octagon boxes if you order a take-away! There is another store inside the airport in case you missed it in the city.

The food was very good, but the service not so much. We had asked for three things to take away, but the girl at the counter only gave us two. There was no queue behind us, do we stayed in the same spot waiting for someone to pay attention to us to ask for the third thing. We tried asking another girl who was working at the counter and, even though she heard our request, she ignored us. This bakery in the Fan Shopping Center has some of the best tasting baking I have had in Mallorca. It is also a popular place even though it is in a shopping mall. The place had a steady flow of people coming and going as well as a line up that moved pretty quickly considering the traffic. There was also tables to sit at inside the bakery and out in the open area of the mall that were always busy if one opened up be prepared to jump on it right away. I would definitely come back here in the future while in the area

This place is absolutely stunning both inside and outside HOWEVER, the coffee disaster tasted like one from a vending machine. We ordered ice coffee and we were given hot cappuccino and a glass of ice. The lady at the counter was not helpful AT ALL, quite mean and we were almost the only ones there (it would be fine if she didn’t understand and tried but she literally didn’t care) she just placed it on a plastic tray not asking me if I was okay with this kind of not iced iced coffee. Honestly I’m really disappointed. Maybe the pastries are amazing but we didn’t order any.

Was about to try Ensaimadas for the first time in this famous place , but little did we know ... look at what's inside the orange juice.. We told the staff but she was extremely rude to us, saying that it’s completely normal to have larvae in the summer and start to demand us to talk in Spanish when she actually talked in English without any problems before. We were genuinely worried because we just realized after drinking more than half of it. If it's only 1 or 2 maybe it's okay.. but there was at least 20 of it in that glass.

Don’t recommend coming here.. The staff doesn’t understand anything in English and looks at you with disgust if you try to communicate through it. I ordered espresso and a ensaimada, the espresso was incredibly bland, no crema and tasted underextracted, the bottom of the ensaimada was drenched in oil and tasted like just oil.. also didn’t get anything to eat it with, nor any paper to wipe my hands.

We loved it here. We were passing by and decided to take a little break. We had no idea this was such an iconic shop with a long history. So many people were buying large ensaimadas to go. We had one and it was delicious. The coffee too was good.

There’s a wide range of pastries here: traditional ensaimadas, sandwiches, quiches, doughnuts, as well as empanadas. Everything was fresh and every bite of the ensaimadas are soft, fluffy bits of heaven. Coffee is also good here. Prices are very reasonable. There’s space to sit, though it gets busy and packed at certain times.

As an English tourist, this little village bakery was incredible! However the staff didn't speak English which made communication a bit tricky. For example i didn't get what I asked for the first time but ended up eating it and then going back the next day and getting that item as it was really good 😂

I walked an hour to come to this bakery and it was well worth the trip! A feast for the eyes and the belly. I love that you can watch the team baking through the windows. If you are walking down what appears to be an alley you are in the right place. Just 5 more steps and you have arrived! I highly recommend the carrot cake! Made for a lovely morning! #LoveYourBaker

This is a really good local bakery in Palma centre. I tried their almond pastry. It had perfect dough (crunchy outside and soft inside) and wasn’t too sweet (though a bit heavy as almond fillings naturally are). Great with a coffee. Prices are a little on the expensive side but still worth a try if you’re in the area.

Absolutely magical flavor – I had a pistachio cream–filled cube made from croissant dough (not sure what it’s called, but it was unforgettable). You can see straight into the kitchen, where fresh croissants are being made non-stop. You might expect an older, traditional bakery team, but it’s actually a group of young women running the place – and you can tell they’re doing it with real heart. Bonus points for the cappuccino: served the traditional Italian way, without the unnecessary cocoa powder the Spanish often add.

7 euros for a piece of bread. Maybe there is a magical superpower in the dough?! Sad to see the prices go up so much whilst the salary’s in Mallorca are still lower than EU average and even below the Spain average.

I'll start from the end - my experience at this restaurant was very, very disappointing. My husband and I came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and chose this restaurant because it looked stunning to us and I read good comments about this restaurant. In fact, we had an experience that really doesn't fit a Michelin restaurant (from experience) - the meal took 4 and a half (!!!) hours, meaning we left at 12:30 at night, even a little later. Each dish was served a really long time after the previous dish and the service was, in my opinion, quite slow. Another and most important thing - we warned in advance that we were lactose sensitive and the last dessert had lactose (!!!). The manager ran to us and apologized and asked if we were taking any lactose pills and said we didn't have any... Of course they thought about what to do and it took them a while until the bill arrived and finally we saw that they hadn't charged us for the 2 desserts in the meal. I personally think that for such a mistake by a restaurant of such a high standard, they shouldn't charge me for the entire meal. But again, that's just my opinion. In addition, they told us they would call us the next day to see if we were feeling well and to ask how we were doing - and of course they didn't call. It's disappointing that a restaurant of this level doesn't pay attention to such important points and even disrespects customers. I won't go back there.

The setting and place just breathtaking. They take you to another world as soon as you enter. The place is full of good energy and very tasteful decoration. We had some Ruinart as well as Marc Fosh’s 5 courses menu. I would say that for my part every single salty hors d’œuvre/tasting was amazing and out of this world. However, for the sweet ones, I was a bit disappointed and did not enjoy a lot this part. Fortunately my birthday cake was sincerely delicious and helped save the day! Great tasting menu with wine paring. Every dish was exceptionable and paired with a great selection of Spanish / Majorcan wines Friendly , knowledgeable staff. Marc Fosh himself takes time to greet each table as they arrive, which was a nice touch. Edited the review from 5 star to 4 star overall and for service, looked at our bill today and realised that we were charged for a glass of red wine that never arrived, at time we just assumed they forgot as it was ordered at start of meal to come with a certain dish, it wasn’t until today we realised they still charged for it. These things happen and wouldn’t put us off returning.

Food: Quality of the food was great: - Calamari was tender on the inside but not as crispy as I would’ve liked it to be. - Beef croquettes were crispy but lacked in flavor a bit - Octopus was amazing well chard some of the best I’ve ever had. - stake tartar was good and well balanced. - Oxtail with broken eggs was bit heavy but over all pleasant.

We ended up at La Rosa on the recommendation of a local working in a nearby shop — and I’m so glad we did. This turned out to be the best dining experience of my entire trip. Every tapa we tried was beautifully executed — each one a perfect, delicious bite. I’ll be dreaming of the garlic red prawn croquettes and the grilled Iberian pork with truffled parmentier — both absolutely unforgettable. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, and we were able to walk in and get a table for six upstairs. You truly get what you pay for here. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll absolutely return.

La Rosa was fantastic, the waiter was amazing, so friendly and allowed us to order different dishes at different times. The food was delicious, the steak was so tender it just melted in the mouth. If I'm ever back in Palma I'd definitely visit again. It was extremely busy, best to book in advance.

Avoid this place! The food is OK but not better than the local tapas restaurant on the corner. It is better presented on the plate than most restaurants, but the taste gives no sensations at all. The service is very bad, even though the waiters have a nice, polite attitude. Waiters take a very long time and forget what we asked for several times. I'm surprised at how unprofessional the service is. Perhaps it's more of a management problem, looking at the resource side—but then it will be permanently bad. We had a wine called Mula Mucho at a low price. Even though it has a photo of a dog on the bottle, it was surprisingly great. (Note: usually I never buy wines with "over-commercial" labels/stickers.) The restaurant seems to have taken over the restaurant next to Vermuteria called Colmado, and this is where we had our table. They call it a "classic table," but with no backrest, it will hurt your back a lot. Apparently, they want to shove in as many people as possible, and chairs with backrests take up too much space. Looking at the total, based on the bad service and the medioker level of the food, we will never ever come here again. Our expectations where a lot higher.

Great for dinners and savoring vermouth (homemade btw). In the evening times a smaller group will not wait long to be invited compared to a larger group. Ideally a reservation will make it work faster. The food was tasty and service was great (kudos to our waitress Sonya:) ) highly recommended when you visit Palma!

I managed to get a seat without a reservation after waiting about 45 minutes, and it was absolutely worth both the time and the money. The food was outstanding, truly one of the best meals of my life. Sitting at the bar gave me a front-row view of the kitchen, and I was amazed. The chefs moved like a perfectly choreographed team - focused, efficient, yet warm and approachable. Despite the pace, they still found moments to smile, joke, and chat, which made the experience even more special. This place delivers on every level: food, atmosphere, and service. Most certainly make reservations for El Camino! This spot fills up quickly and for good reason - we loved everything we tried and even re-ordered a couple of them. We were 4 people and tried our best to try as much food as we can :) only the paella was a dissapointment becuase the rice was so hard to chew other than that we were so happy and pleased what we ordered. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! Such a fantastic experience. The staff were amazing, the vibe was great and the food/wine was delicious! We thought sitting at a bar would be uncomfortable and cramped but it was the opposite. It was really spacious! We ordered everything we wanted in one go and it came out dish by dish as if it was a tasting menu. We will definitely go again when visiting Palma.

Hands down one of the top 5 meals I ever had, everything was just impeccable! Highly recommend booking at least a week in advance, but the planning will be definitely worthy! Choosing the bar seating was the best option, as you can watch the chefs prepping the dishes and get a feel for the action. Everything was out-of-this world tasty and I can’t recommend it enough! Definitely get the zucchinni flower filled with ricotta, the croquettas & the pork, although I could have ordered the whole menu as it looked spectacular!

We had a chicken salad, it was okay the chicken tasted a bit tired which has been unsatisfying to be honest. I ordered a drink without sugar, I got a water con azucar, this annoyed me the most! The atmosphere is nice, but also a bit annoying with the bus stop in front. Just a side note, smoking is prohibitted in their terrace. The service is usually low or inconsistent, depending on how busy the period is. I suggest their “tostada con aguacate y salmon” and “rabo de toro con patatas y huevo frito”. Overall, it’s a convenient place to enjoy Palma’s ambiance, though expectations for service should be modest. Prices are okay.

Great, always looks like a horrible tourist trap but it really isn't, good, realistically priced tapas and snacks, great service lovely inside as well, generally a great place to spend an afternoon. It's right in the very heart of busiest part of the busiest Street in Palma so don't expect a quiet time, but great fun.

A lovely restaurant with a charming street ambience, perfect for outdoor seating. The famous toasts were wonderfully crispy, but having only one person attending to 30-40 tables didn’t seem fair. Service was incredibly slow, and one of the items we ordered never arrived. When we mentioned this while paying, we were simply told that it may have run out. They have a offer which is 12 oysters and a MUET for 99 euros. While most items on the menu were reasonably priced but the oysters and MUET were shockingly expensive.

This is our second time in Valdemossa and De Tokio A Lima is a must for anyone in the area! Located in the beautiful Hotel Valdemossa the restaurant is tucked away on a short 5 min walk from town with beautiful views and atmosphere! It is truly a hidden gem! We ordered the shrimp fritters, grilled scallops and the beef sirloin tataki - all were outstanding!! Alex was our server and he was attentive and great. The bartender made some of the best espresso martinis and gin sours we’ve ever had! Overall 10/10 experience and food and views were incredible. We will be back!!

We had a wonderful evening at de Tokio a Lima. A special thanks goes to our waiter Alex, who was extremely attentive and dedicated. At first, there were no outdoor tables available and we felt a bit disappointed, but he immediately took care of it and let us know as soon as one opened up. His effort really made a difference. The food was excellent – fresh, creative, and full of flavor – and the view was simply stunning. Overall, highly recommended!

As long-term residents, we have visited De Tokio a Lima regularly over the years and recently decided to take our house guests there for lunch. Sadly, this experience was far below what the restaurant’s reputation — and prices — would suggest. From the outset, one of the female staff members (manager/hostess/concierge) was notably unfriendly and never cracked a smile. Another member of staff was overbearing, commenting unnecessarily on our bags and the need for one of us to take a business call. The real problems came with the food and service. Although we were only a party of five and ordered a starter, two shared salads, and main courses to be served together, the first dishes did not appear for over an hour. Service then dragged on for another 90 minutes. Even more frustrating, other tables who arrived later than us were served the same dishes well before ours. Clearly, there were issues in the kitchen that day — but they landed squarely on our plate and not on that of the serving staff. Unfortunately, rather than offering a proper apology or reassurance, the situation was left to fester. To make matters worse, one guest was given the wrong dish. She assumed it was battered scallops, but it turned out to be shrimp — something she does not eat. The waiter remarked, “Well at least now you know what shrimp tastes like!” What he may have thought was wit or flamboyance was in fact dull, dismissive, and rude. Despite assuring us we would not be charged for the mistake, the dish was still added to the bill. When I pointed this out, he waved his hand dismissively and finally removed it. Another dish failed to arrive altogether, and when it eventually did, it was again the wrong one. One of our guests ended up with no proper meal at all. This was not simply a matter of delays or mistakes — it was the attitude. No one offered a sincere apology, and we were made to feel like an inconvenience throughout. The contrast between the reputation of the restaurant and the reality of our experience was striking. In Japan, customer service is defined by attentiveness, humility, and respect — this was the complete antithesis. The only positive note was the friendliness of the staff on the door. Inside, however, the service was disorganised, ungracious, and far below the standard one would expect from a restaurant of this standing.

I was looking for lemon cake in Palma and found this cafe, it was amazing and super refreshing. I definitely recommend trying it. The coffee was great too, and I loved the coffee art! 🤍

Definitely one of the most delicious pastrami sandwiches and their soft sandwiches are my favorite! They make everything themselves, and it's truly exquisite. The new location is very pleasant, and everyone is really kind. They also have their own bread and croissant production, but it's at a nearby separate location, so pay attention when looking for the bakery or eatery.

Staff so helpful and patient. Food so great. If you like ham, you have to try the pastrami!! Awesome renovation. I enjoyed sitting beside the massive windows.

The attention was very helpful, but I had to wait 30 for 2 pieces of bread, an egg with 3 kilos of pepper and half an avocado that looked more like a stone than an avocado, a pity that the food and the waiting time is not at the level of the service.

I live nearby and started to come few days ago. Ordered 2 times for takeout and ate 2 time there with a friend or alone. No WiFi, kinda disappointing especially when the place is completely empty in the afternoon, I understand why… The food is always good, pastries are high quality so I’m not mad about the price.

Everything was really delicious, but the portion sizes were really small. We ended up having to order a third dish between the two of us, which made it all in all very expensive. Other than that, it’s a cool, funky venue.

Well the local is stunning! Awesome vibe inside, the decor and interior is just wow! We were a group of 6, the artisanal beer is great, super special flavor and also brings a sense of a more developed character for brass club, the cocktails are all stunning. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and take the time to speak with you. The music is also very good, I really have nothing bad to say about this place, everything was worth coming back for!

This is a great cocktail bar! It has great atmosphere and service. I had the cocktail that was served in a Mario bros piranha cup, it was so absolutely delicious! Strongly recommend this place.

This café is located in Santa Catalina neighborhood. It has an authentic touch. You can sit on the sidewalk and enjoy watching the neighborhood life goes by. The service was slow, but the staff were nice. only one of them spoke some English. the prices were so inexpensive compared to those in the touristic areas.

It used to be a nice place back in the day. Now the quality is low, the atmosphere noisy, loud and vulgar and the management is, sadly, very rude. A no go place.

My girlfriend and I eat in some bar in Market across the road. There we drink and eat a lot and we payed 14e for everything. We went out and we decide to drink something cold and fresh. First we wait for waitress 10min and we order 2x fresh orange juice and we payed 10e for that. Robbery.

They are thieves!!! This is the worst place in the world! The two of us were in this place 7 days ago. We ordered two pastries and coffee and the bill was around 7 euros. My husband gave them (to girl who works there) 50 euros, and she gave him back 23, instrad of 43! He immediately counted and complained, and she said that she didn't have 20 euros at the moment and that she would bring it to him. We sat at the table for about 15 minutes and she didn't come. After that, we came to her to ask for our money, but she pretended that she didn't know what we were talking about. All the workers got together and asked us why were we complaining about it after half an hour, even though we complaned to the seller right away! that saleswoman pretended she didn't know English, and when we turned to leave she was laughing at us, behind our backs, along with the other workers. We have never experienced such a thing in all our lives, that someone robs us in front of our eyes and then laughs at us. The impression is that the girls who work there do so in agreement with each other.

The tall guy serving customer hasn’t been friendly at all, he didn’t even acknowledge us when we came in ( even if we said hello when we came in). The service wasn’t good at all and we had to get our order ourselves from the counter after we sat down. We have visited the place on a very quiet morning so no excuse at all. Lluis Perez is making so much efforts to offer the best pastries to his customers and the whole experience has been ruined because of the 2 team members present on that day. What a shame !

Nice address for desserts in Palma, we definitely recommend trying the chocolate and raspberry cake! We took some madeleines but we did not like them, they got somehow the taste from the plastic bag, not good.

I first discovered Fika Farina through an Instagram account I follow and have been eagerly awaiting the chance to try it ever since. With all that anticipation, I was a bit nervous—could it really live up to the hype? The answer: absolutely. This place delivers pastry perfection — light, crisp, flaky croissant dough, superb cardamom and cinnamon rolls, and a wonderful mix of unique creations and timeless classics, all executed with excellence. My only wish is that they offered seating so customers could relax and truly savour the experience.

We came here two days in a row, due to the absolutely spectacular pastries. The taste and quality was top tier, one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to! We got there at opening time (8am), so everything was fresh from the kitchen, the freshness was reflected in the flavour. Absolute must visit if you are in the palma old town area!!!

This is an expensive and for some reason, very famous bakery. We tried their coco and Danish pastry with frambuesa. The Danish was good, but we didn’t really get the point of the coco. It wasn’t bad but just felt a bit unnecessary, you know… Maybe we were missing something (are we supposed to dip it in chocolate sauce or eat it a certain way?). Overall, it wasn’t bad but we honestly didn’t understand why there’re more than a thousand reviews here and always a line in front…

Definitely lived up to the hype! The cardamom and cinnamon buns were buttery, flakey, and fresh. I enjoyed them very much! A bit pricier than expected but worth trying. I would go with the cardamom if you’re having trouble deciding which! Also arrived around 4 pm and they still had plenty of buns.

We got in a bit late so options were a bit limited but the cinnamon roll which was the one I wanted to try was amazing. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area. I sometimes buy my bread here and well it is not the best but not too bad. I went yesterday 05/06/24 to buy my Reyes 🫅 “roscón de nata” . I paid 12€ for a 6 portions cake.m, and it turned to be the worst roscón I ever had in my entire life. What a disappointment considering they claim to be a “forn” that is a hand made baker. This roscón is worst than the one I could have bought in Lidl or Eroski. Really disgusting industrial stuff that not even the dogs wanted. Bad!

OMG! I recently discovered this lovely French bakery with a 4.9 rating on google, and I have to say it absolutely deserves it. Every pastry was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were out of this world. The almond croissant, in particular, was extraordinary—truly mind-blowing! I’ll definitely be coming back. We visited and bought matcha and three rolls - strawberry and white chocolate, pistachio, and chocolate and orange. The owner was super sweet and informative. The food was delicious and flavorful, had an outstanding texture (crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside), and the flavour combinations were innovative and amazing. The filling was perfect, with no dryness and the perfect amount of quantity.

I am not sure what they are called but the croissant wheels are absolutely delicious. We had the pistachio one and it was light, buttery, sweet, and absolutely delicious with a fantastic crunch. Highly recommend getting one of these beautiful little wheels of deliciousness.

The closest parking lot is about a 10-minute walk away. We were able to drop off our luggage first and the staff kindly assisted with directions and bags, but understanding this in advance would have helped us plan better. Very few complaints…really nice, quiet spot out of the mayhem of the city. The staff were friendly, the food (including the breakfast) was good and the drinks well made. The finishes were high end and we were very happy with both the shared spaces and our room (the main suite, room 3). Of the complaints…they spray a weird small in the rooms, maybe supposed to smell like an old building / furniture / castle, but it just made us feel a bit ill. And, the carpet is wicker, which sounds fun but actually isn’t very comfortable to walk on barefoot, so make sure you grab the free slippers.

We have recently had the chance to stay in this mesmerizing renovated old mansion, let me say it was pleasantly amazing. The staff the room the lobby was an amazing treat. The only thing you have to consider is the parking as it is a 10 min walking distance and it was a bit expensive. Other than that i would say it was perfect with a great location within the heart of Palma city.

Memories for a lifetime. We loved everything about our stay at Can Cera. The staff was extremely detail oriented and knew all their guests which made every errand so simple to handle. It is a quiet and refined retreat just a step away from the hustle and bustle of Palma. We loved everything from the refined furniture and art of our room (which was btw absolutely spotless), to the concierge service and the cocktail bar. Truly amazing.

Staying at Can Cera Hotel was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were taken in by the warm atmosphere and stunning decor—every detail of the property feels thoughtful, elegant, and true to the charm of Mallorca. Benjamin walked us through the map of Palma and Mallorca, recommended restaurants and day trips, and even made us our dinner reservations for us while we relaxed and enjoyed our welcome drink. Our room was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and instantly felt like a private sanctuary. What really stood out, though, was the staff’s remarkable attention to detail. Even if we stepped out for just 20 minutes, we’d return to find the room perfectly refreshed. Their attentiveness was unmatched—always present when you needed something, but never intrusive. One day we weren’t feeling our best and couldn’t explore the town, but we didn’t mind at all—the hotel was so comfortable and the staff so kind that it felt like the perfect place to simply rest and recharge. Booking a massage is a MUST - one of the best we’ve ever had. We also took advantage of the spa that had a steam room, sauna and jacuzzi and reserved it twice during our stay. One thing to note is that there isn’t parking onsite and it’s about a 7min walk from the hotel and the roads to get to the hotel are very narrow and not for a nervous driver. Not a deal breaker for us but something to note! The entire experience was seamless and elevated, making us feel cared for in the most genuine way. Can Cera is the kind of place you don’t just stay at—you remember. Without a doubt, a five-star experience. We will be back!!

Since 1652! The smell of fresh baked bread, did me entre this little hide away bakery, looks dark and closed but is not. The giant baker appeared to be verry friendly. When i asked him, do you still bake everything yourself? The baker admitted so. I told him, thats a heavy job, getting up early, baking bread and selling it for a small price, long hours, 7 days? The baker said; Its oké , i do it with love! Ones at home i tried his typical brown Majorca round bread, it was surprising moisturized and smooth! So thats what bread baked with love, taste likes!!! Muchos gracias signor Fiol! Bakery is open 7 days a week , 8.00-22.00. ( my Xmas wish is that you will be capable to keep baking bread for many years and life treats you good! )

Other reviews claim that the prices are jacked up once they know you're a tourist/not a local, and I think their claims are correct. My experience was similar even though I didn't read the reviews or know about this place. I accidentally found it while walking to my hostel. I went in and asked for a small pastry. The price was so high that I had to politely cancel the order. I didn't know the typical prices, all I knew was that €2.5 for a small pastry is out of my budget. What I found odd was how the owner got very defensive and kept saying "I didn't increase the price for you only. Go and see, everyone else charges the same price" and at one point he said "How much do you want to pay for it" which reminded me of bargaining in Marrakesh. I am socially awkward and just wanted to apologise because I can't afford the high price, but he kept interrupting me. His defensive behaviour was sudden and indicates that he indeed jacks up prices and got nervous when I said it was high. And now that I saw other reviews saying the same, I guess it could be true that he charges tourists higher than locals.

Best empanadas we had during our stay in Mallorca. Owner is also friendly. Their specialty cake with cream was great too, much better than ensaïmada in my opinion!

The perfect place for brunch, lots of delicious options! We had the yogurt bowl and the scrambled eggs and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Great friendly service and a nicely decorated restaurant. I definitely recommend having the larger bowl which is €10 as I wished I had done. You pay before you receive your food which is great as you don’t have to wait around after you have finished :)

However, this little cafe is in a perfect location - on the corner of Placa Major. We visited this cafe for breakfast and we were delighted. The food was amazing - we got a lovely salmon bagel with avacado and cream cheese. It was so fresh and flavoursome. They served a lovely and strong iced coffee with a freshly squeezed orange juice. It is very reasonably priced and great selection on their menus. Service and staff were amazing. Overall, great exprience and would definitely recommend. Pros: - excellent food and service - beautiful decor - AC inside and outdoor seating - seems to be wheelchair accessible - family friendly Cons: - cannot fault this place at all. Cute Café and a very nice Lady running this place. I tried the açaí bowl, which was ok… would have appreciated homemade granola! Latte art was beautiful on the Flat white and it tasted good as well. I enjoyed the very crispy and flaky croissant in the afternoon and the lemon tartlet was not too sweet but pastry could have been crispier and the merengue had a funny texture.

What a lovely place! Good coffee (I tried americano), but the matcha roll... It was heavenly experience, matcha + white chocolate + raspberries. The decor was cute, very instagrammable. The staff was nice, explained what the specific cake/dessert/ contains. Didn't try savory things, but it looked amazing.

Lovely breakfast place. We had bagel with pouch egg with salmon and avocado. Egg was perfect. So big portion I can't even finish it🤣。We also had acai bowls suitable for vegetarian not sure about vegan!

We loved it here! The servers were very nice and patient when trying to decide what to choose. The “Coca de Patata” was really good, we got the normal but I would recommend the Nutella filled, the Almond Cake was extremely good, I would go back just for it. The rest of the food was very good also and to finish off, it wasn’t expensive for all the food we got, we paid 17€. We sat outside, very lovely and chill.

Can be extremely busy as it's very well known. Quality local speciality pastries are tasty. Posh town with posh prices. The covered outside eating area at the rear is a good size and very pleasant.

We visited 4 times during our stay in Mallorca. Homemade granizado de almendra (almond horchata), huge chunks of almonds in it, so good on a hot day !! Life changing ensaimada de crema quemada- pretty much creme brûlée in a soft pastry. Great coca de verdura (thin veggie pizza), Jampn Serrano baguette, and decent coffee, although I preferred the granizado. Fresh pressed orange juice. Everything is fresh and made in house. Great outside terrace to sit on. Highly recommend !!

Super cute shop and locations but the Ensimadas, Empanadas and pizza have been disappointing. Dry and low quality. They are unable to heat it up which contributes to a lower rating unfortunately.

I normally avoid negative reviews, I prefer to go to the business directly, however, in this case I will leave my review online. I came to the shop in early afternoon, I was the only customer, but the person behind the counter was exceptionally rude. She was too busy having a conversation with her friend to even tell me the bill! I had to ask. Then after getting my change I was polite but she was silent and looking away. Completely unacceptable. The food wasn't as good as I have had elsewhere, but poor attitude doesn't help the experience. If the staff member doesn't like serving the public, then change job.

After living in Spain for awhile, I understand Spanish customer service isn't what most Americans would like. However, our experience at this place is beyond the pale. After coming in, and waiting in line for ten minutes, my girlfriend and I finally got to the front of the counter and waited patiently in front of the cashier. She looked up at us, smiled, and then turned to the three women who came in behind us. I was annoyed, however these women were older, grandmotherly type, and I thought she was being polite. So we waited another 5 minutes or so for their orders to be filled. Finally, it was our turn, right? Nope, a 20 something came along, and the attendant looked us in the eyes, sarcastically smiled and then moved again to this new customer, totally ignoring the fact that we had been waiting patiently in line, for almost 20 minutes. I could understand if we were in some obscure part of the counter. But we were standing directly in front of the cashier. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE AT ALL.

Absolutely incredible place! The food is insanely delicious! Throughout our entire stay, we only ate at this restaurant, which is connected to a bakery the perfect duo. Everything is fresh and full of flavor. The taste is out of this world I’ll truly miss this place when I go back home. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The freshly made plain croissant was excellent but the chocolate coated pastries and filled croissants were more pleasing to the eye than the palate. They tasted fine but not particularly special. Joanna made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in, the aroma of the baking, sandwiches and coffee made us equally welcome! I had Iberico sandwich & iced latte (8.10 euro). I sat outside and the table was dirty, and nobody came to clean it - you can see it on the picture. I found the attitude of the blonde lady taking the orders rude. She was so annoyed and brushed me off because I wanted to order a sandwich that was shown on the little card but apparently it wasn’t served at that time. She started getting annoyed and speaking under her breath. Nobody spoke English so I didn’t understand her. This was not a nice experience. A wonderful traditional bakery right in the centre of Sóller! Everything is freshly baked and absolutely delicious, especially the ensaïmada and other local pastries. Sonnen Bäckerei is a German style bakery located in a good spot in the Playa de Palma area. The place is nice and we were happily welcomed by the service staff there. We had breakfast and it was very good overall, the eggs with ham could be better though. I really liked how polite and friendly the waitress was and overall it was a nice experience. If your looking for a place to try a typical german breakfast, then this is the place to go to!

We went there for breakfast and, unsurprisingly, the place was busy, it's clearly a popular spot, especially with a German clientele. Simply the best ensaimadas in Mallorca which therefore means they are the best in the world. This bakery has been family run by the same family since 1968. Growing up in Mallorca it was the favourite place to stop for us as kids . Now as adults we all recognise this as simply the best . There are a few tables to have coffee and enjoy an ensaimada . Definitely worth a special trip .

We live one floor up and visit this bakery several times a week when we're here. The staff is really friendly and speak good english as well as multiple languages. They always have fresh bread. A warm recommendation is the ensaimadas, especially the one with figs. We could not wish for more in a bakery!

This is the best place for ensaimada in the whole of Mallorca! My wife and I keep coming back to the island every year and when we try it in other bakeries they are not as good. I recommend specially the ones freshly filled with custard (“crema”) or with creme brulee (“crema catalana”).

Food and coffee are good value, but not great. Very warm in the shop and will only get hitter as the season progresses.

Called for some pastries including offer of five mini chocolate bites. When the male server eventually got round to it he deftly put the items in a bag and handed over quickly with hand out for payment. He’d given just four when I checked later on my way home and knew exactly what he was doing. Had attitude from the outset.

I would like to start with the positive part first as the cakes are really nice, very fresh and good taste. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience with one of the staff members where this person was rude to me and my friends. Given my experience, I would recommend this place only if you are looking for a takeaway, hopefully the service level of the staff will improve and you will be able to enjoy a nice cake on-site.

I shop at Ca’n de Paris SC market, I get their really good French baguette you can taste the authentic ingredients (butter and flour from France!) we all love the croissants, pan chocolat, trenza, brioche, their cakes and macarons too plus when Xmas comes we get their bouché de Noel. The staff is always attentive (Hi Noemi) and even when she isn’t around I have no complaints with the service and attentiveness. If you want the real deal without flying to France then here it is!

This bakery had the best Jamon sandwich me and my husband have both ever eaten! We literally drove past on our way to the other side of the island and pulled over to grab some lunch. The ladies were so lovely too, and one of them kindly gave us one of the pastries (I think it was a traditional Mallorcan pastry) If you are driving past or staying in the area make sure you go!

I went here with my boyfriend to have breakfast during my holiday in Mallorca. Since it was my first time here I kindly asked the lady a few questions about the products to know how they were like in order to decide what to get. Even if I tried to speak Spanish the best I could, I didn’t understand what she said at one point and I was a little confused. The lady very rudely told me in a few words to hurry up and decide and so I got the first thing I remembered even if I didn’t want it. My day just started so badly because of this person unjustified rudeness, clients shouldn’t be treated this way and even tourists that try to speak the local language. The products are good but I’ve never felt so offended and I obviously will choose another place to get some breakfast.
