Cafetaria Puro Cake Lab in Peniche is a charming spot that has quickly become a favorite for many visitors, including myself. With its diverse menu offering an array of sweet and savory delights like sandwiches, crepes, waffles, and homemade cakes, there's something to satisfy every craving. The freshness of the ingredients shines through in each dish; I particularly enjoyed the salmon, avocado, and cheese croissant!
We visited this lovely café in Péniche twice, and both times it exceeded our expectations! We appreciated the diverse menu, which features a delightful selection of sweet and savory options, including sandwiches, crepes, waffles, cakes, and more. Everything is freshly prepared, and all the cakes and croissants are homemade. Everything we tried was delicious, and we highly recommend the salmon, avocado, and cheese croissant! The coffee was excellent as well! The ambiance is very nice, with gentle music playing in the background, and they have a spacious wooden terrace in front. A special thank you to the staff, who were friendly and professional during both visits. We felt warmly welcomed and truly appreciated the high-quality service and the big smiles. 🙂 Thank you for having us – well-deserved 5 stars!

We stopped in for a late evening snack, and it was so delicious we returned the next day for breakfast. The sweets and pastries are delectable, and the savory offerings like salads and chips & dips are all tasty and satisfying. Cafe drinks and cocktails are all well crafted. The friendly staff of two behind the counter stay busy preparing fresh items to order and also courteously serving clients. Plenty of seating inside and out.

No vegetarian salad options, you need to ask them to remove the meat. The margarita crepe isn’t properly cooked, the cheese wasn’t even molten… also with pieces of loose tomato that were still cold from the fridge… disappointing

Best breakfast of Peniche !! Amazing and lovely staff 😍 we came two days in a row, pasteis are soooo good, coffee as well with non dairy milk available. I really recommend
Maëva B — Google review
Highly recommended. Added to my list of favorites. - Good food: We tried some cakes, 3 ice cream flavors, coffee, and some finger food. All tasty and good quality ingredients. - Excellent service: Highlight was the young waitress making my daughter feel at home and spoiled. - Fair prices: Not the std tourist trap common in this area/town. - Somewhat easy access. Public parking was not too hard to find. - Nice place, could be bigger: Organized, comfortable, clear, clean. A bit small, might be difficult to find a table during busy hours.

The bread rolls are particularly noteworthy, weighing in at 130 grams each—perfect for satisfying your cravings!
Great selection of pastries and bread. Bread rolls are fresh and weigh 130 grams or about 4.5 oz each. Best I ever had in the greater Peniche area. Besides the many types of (mini) pastries (pastel de nata, feijão, etc), there is a good selection of tarts. Selection varies from day to day. Prizes are very reasonable. A coffee, a can of Coca Cola and 4 mini pastries (locinhas) at 5 Eur. Price of pastries based on weight.

Super cute cafe, awesome pastries and coffee. Strong wifi! Very friendly owner from Brazil, so some of the sweets were recipes from Brazil and some from Portugal! We had this chocolate dipped cinnamon cake with caramel in the middle 🤤 very good and unique! We had asked where the taxis hang out, as we were headed to ferrel, she called one to pick us up right in front of the shop🤍 I think if you like to take influencer style photos there's no better place than this stylish pink cafe, and obviously everybody loves good sweets! But especially if you are traveling and need a little rest this location is great, plus the owner is super kind/ helpful!
