This is a really nice bakery. I stopped by to get a few sweets for a birthday celebration and I was very impressed with the slices of cake. I got the key lime tower which was my favorite! It had the gram cracker bottom and tasted amazing. We also tried the berry dessert special, as well as the strawberry passion. All 3 were delicious. The girl serving me was fast and friendly, the dining area was clean, and the coffee was on point. Definitely a nice spot to visit when passing through.

We have loved Petite Madeline for a long, long time. So when we decided to get married, we knew there was only one option for the cake and desserts at the reception. We fed everyone a huge meal and then brought out the desserts. And they were gone in a short amount of time. Everyone we talked to said, “Oh, this is so good!” I was really surprised how fast the desserts and cake got eaten after how much food everyone already ate. But it is because Petite Madeline knows how to make people happy. They know how to make good food that is not dessert, too. We eat there frequently, and we always love it. Their Benedicts are so delicious. Their Greek bowl is incredible. Their waffles are tasty. Their coffee is perfect. Their tea is excellent. My only problems with Petite Madeline are that they don't have a location right next door to me and they aren't open 24 hours.

For our weekly coffee date, my wife and I enjoyed a moment at Petite Madeline Bakery. The service was quick. It felt good to receive a refill on coffee. The bakery shinned and was full of life and customers. The coffee was bold, and our tasty scone was a treat. This gem of a bakery adds to Oceanside's charm and delight. It’s such a cute and nice place to eat right off of coast highway in Oceanside. The food was delicious, staff were nice, and they had so much seating inside. The pastries they offered were so cute and delicious! I took my mom here for Mother’s Day breakfast….definitely recommend!

I came for the pancake breakfast with bacon and eggs. Everything was good except the bacon. It tasted different. Perhaps it wasn't pork. I didn't get any pastries but will next time. They looked really good. You order and pay at the counter. Grab your napkins, silverware, and water at the self serve station then grab a table. They will bring your order. I would come back to give the pastries a try.

The pork ribs in green chili sauce at San Luis Rey Bakery and Restaurant are absolutely delightful! The tender pork ribs are perfectly cooked, smothered in a flavorful green chili sauce that has just the right amount of spice. The sides of cheesy refried beans and fluffy Spanish rice complement the main dish beautifully, making it a well-rounded meal. The fresh, warm tortillas served on the side are ideal for soaking up the delicious sauce. The cozy ambiance and friendly service further enhance the dining experience. A must-try for lovers of authentic Mexican cuisine!

First time there, great atmosphere and service. Food was good. Nothing special. I will be back to try other food to get a real feel of food quality. They also have an area for bread, desserts and cakes.

I came here on a Friday for a early lunch the food was horrible I got chile verde breakfast the meat was so hard and chewy the weird thing was there was like one piece in there that wasn't overcooked showed how bad the rest was cooked to much. My fiance got the milanesa torta she said was just ok . We also got some Mexican bread to all bread the bread was just ok come cookies tasted old and weird I don't recommend this place to any one

I went to pick up a pound cake that I ordered on Friday on a Sunday. It was never made and they just threw one in a box and handed it to me. I said it is supposed to be frosted. They young man didn't know what to do. He goes behind the counter and throws some glaze on it. I said that isn't lemon frosting like I ordered. He sent out the manager who was an older gentleman and rude. He said if I frosting it i will have to charge you for a cake. That made no sense. So he went to the back slapped on a blob of white frosting and said here. At no point did they apologize for not having it made and the inconvenience. An apology would have gone a long way. But he was so rude is why I said I needed to do a review.

Friendly service. Clean, cooling, nice environment to dine in. Great food and pricing. Ordered 2 kinds of salads and a horchata. We bought baked goods in addition to dining in. Everything was superb. 👍🏻

This place was incredible! The service was toooooo great, the food even better, and the atmosphere.... the atmosphere was incredible too. Like better than the Earth's atmosphere. How can you get better than that. A trust hidden gem. I can't wait to go back and get some more food off of the menu. Great pan too. The service hit a new high for me. I felt like they were all family friends by the time we left. Mmmm Good, not bad.

The atmosphere is nice, they had a live pair performing. It was a tad bit loud but good ambience. The bakery and restaurant are separated so it’s easy to get your bakery items without having to walk through tables. The food was tasty and well portioned. The chilaquiles were not spicy at all, I wish they were a bit more spicy but it’s understandable.

I’ve visited this café twice, mostly drawn in by the high ratings and convenient location near my boyfriend’s PT. First visit: I tried the bacon, egg & cheese croissant sandwich on the staff’s recommendation. The croissant was very flaky—so much that it created quite a mess. While the ingredients balanced decently together, the sandwich was surprisingly bland without the bacon. It was filling, but at $10.50, I can’t say it felt worth the price. Second visit: I ordered the sausage breakfast burrito, which was listed as a popular item on Google. When I opened the container, I was greeted with a pool of grease—not the most appetizing sight. As I ate, I noticed the sausage wasn’t evenly distributed, leaving many bites without any. Like the croissant sandwich, the burrito itself lacked flavor and relied heavily on the salsa for taste. Personally, I expect a breakfast burrito to hold its own, with the salsa serving as an enhancement—not a crutch. $11 for a bland burrito full of grease? No thank you. Service: The staff was friendly, and service was quick on both visits, which I appreciated. I also tried the pumpkin shaken espresso during my first visit, and that was actually pretty good. The pastries in the case always look tempting, so maybe that’s what I’ll try next time. Overall, I’ve been disappointed with the food, especially given the café’s 4.5-star rating. Great service, but unfortunately, the flavors just didn’t live up to the hype.

It was a last minute decision to stop here for breakfast and glad we did! O'side gem for sure! 😋😍 Pastries were a 10/10. Eggs Benedict were on point. Omelet was delicious,hash browns needed some salt but will definitely come here again. OMG cheesecake with berries...best ever!!!

This place is THE spot for a croissant . It’s right by the police station and Pitstop Diner (with plenty of parking, bless), and it’s become our go-to for weekend breakfast. The crepes are so good, and I’m obsessed with the matcha almond croissants. They also sell whole cakes that are seriously beautiful. It always smells amazing when you walk in, just super cozy and welcoming. We love it here.

Best place for croissants and best place for Strawberry matcha that I found in north county. I really like their banana bread latte too. In both drinks, the strawberry puree and the banana cream on top of the latte was delicious and tasted organic. The matcha tasted more premium too. They have a points system after earning 100 pts you get $5 off your order.

We have been going since they opened, so hoping for an excellent experience. They did not fail. We’ve had THE best lunches, pastries and, the cakes!!! My husband gets me the double chocolate mousse cake for my BD every year. They are always kind, and it’s such an awesome offerings. So glad they are thriving and serving our community. 🙌❤️

I love this breakfast spot a great deal, I sometimes order in, but in order to see what pastries they have we go in person from time to time and they never disappoint. Today we had an absolutely amazing ham cheese and jalapeño croissant that I hope remains as a permanent menu item. It was SO delicious I wanted to take home two more. Their seasonal drinks are always such a hit too. I had an orange peach refresher that I'm still daydreaming about. The staff are always so lovely and a pleasure to talk to as well. 🫶🏽

Tried this gelato place because of the reviews on their flavors and I gotta say, it is worth the hype. You cant go wrong with the flavor you get. I got a large -- strawberries & cream, dark chocolate, gianduja. My partner got a large as well -- pistachio, tiramisu, and gianduja. I'm not a pistachio fan but their pistachio flavor is great. I've had gelato from Italy & it's definitely on par! Will definitely come back next time and try their affogato or lavender chai. 💜

I mean it when I say it - THIS IS THE BEST GELATO IN CALI!! We come here every single time we’re in Oceanside. I wish they had another location in San Diego but it’s definitely worth the drive up to Oceanside!! All the flavors are amazing, no joke. Their pistachio flavor is elite though! 🍦

I thought they only have the best coffee I've ever had but they also have the best Gelato I've ever had. Try a couple samples can't go wrong with any. I went with pistachio and hazelnut both imported from Italy... are you kidding me? I can't wait to go back. Service here is top notch...

Absolutely unforgettable experience at 1022 Cafe & Gelateria! From the moment we arrived, Connor and Erick welcomed us with warmth, energy, and incredible hospitality—it truly set the tone for everything that followed. We sampled several flavors of their artisanal gelato, and every single one was outstanding. But the pistachio? A masterpiece. Creamy, rich, and full of real flavor—it completely stole the show. The stracciatella and coffee gelato were also phenomenal—balanced, bold, and so satisfying. We drove all the way from Orange County, and let us tell you—it was absolutely worth it. If you're in Oceanside or anywhere nearby and haven’t been to 1022 yet, you're seriously missing out on one of the best gelato experiences around. Ordered some iced mochas from cafe & gelateria and they tasted great! Super friendly and sweet staff. Did not have to wait long for the drink. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor and dog friendly. Love the vibe, definitely recommend.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Crimson Cake, who baked our wedding cake and made mini desserts for the dessert table. Alicia was prompt in her communications and easy to work with. I highly recommend the tasting box! I tried 3 different bakeries before I settled on this one, and am so glad I did. The guests (and even the servers at the wedding) raved about the cake. There are so many flavors to choose from, but the quality of the ingredients (like true fresh fruit) really stands out. Their delivery fee is reasonable (wedding was in La Jolla) and the mini desserts truly are outstanding. The expertise and craftsmanship of the bakers is evident. Thank you Crimson Cake!

She absolutely nailed this cake for my nieces grad party. She went above and beyond what I asked for and added extra touches to make it even more personal and special. It was the talk of the party. The figurines i bought were pretty heavy and I'm amazed at how well it all stayed together. SOMEHOW only one piece was left, so everyone absolutely loved the flavor. I cant believe a cake made me so emotional but I was truly so happy with this entire transaction.

Thank God for trying their samples for my son’s upcoming wedding. This place was highly recommended by the venue so we picked up samples with a lot of expectations. Very disappointing, I don’t know how old those samples were but we the whole family of 6 agreed on how bad the texture of the cakes is, they’re dry, dense and loaded with icing that it’s about the most greasy extremely sweet thing I have ever tasted, I don’t doubt that their cakes might look beautiful, the finished icing looks beautiful, but don’t be fooled, we tried 6 different flavors and we all voted. The chocolate 2 stars, I’ll give the lemon a 1.5 star, the coffee even had a weird odor. I believe that a cake should look beautiful and taste delicious, specially for a wedding when it costs a small fortune nowadays. Make sure you taste before you order. The entire box was thrown away, and we are a family that loves sweets. (The samples sat at room temperature for 3 hrs)

Exceeded every expectation! I gave some very broad ideas for a space/galaxy cake for my son's birthday. They did an amazing job with the details, coloring, and even cake ball planets! The flavor and texture were amazing as well. Will absolutely return in the future!

I am ecstatic to have found The Crimson Cake. Although I always bake my own cakes, lack of time forced me to purchase a cake for my son’s birthday this year. I arrived early to the shop to snag a “kid friendly” pre-made cake and I felt like the stars aligned when a funfetti cake was available. The ladies personalized the cake and even decorated it with legos to match theme of the day. The best part though was eating the cake. Every component was delicious and it was still delicious 5 days later. From now on, I am leaving the cake baking to the pros at The Crimson Cake!

The freaking Blueberry Cobbler! Whoa smokies was that bomb. Had a soul warming dirty chai to go with the cobbler and it was a perfect start to my day off. I’m not one to gate keep but they’ve really got down the delicious munchies here. Please don’t buy up my blueberry cobbler! I also love the local artists featured in the store and the fact they even have performers. I’ll have to make my way back here to check them out. Left with an incredible handmade mug from a local artists and full belly of goodness.

I really wanted to love Jitters Coffee—it’s got a chill atmosphere, good vibes, and it wasn’t overcrowded. The comfortable décor and mellow playlist make it the perfect spot to hang out and sip a coffee…if you’ve got time to spare. I ordered their breakfast sandwich (menu price + tax = $20), opting for the “real” version with cheddar and sausage since the rest of the menu is vegan. After ordering, they came back to say they could do real cheddar but not real sausage—so I ended up with genuine cheddar and vegan sausage. Speaking of slow: despite the café being pretty empty, it took a whopping 25 minutes to get my one sandwich. The staff were friendly and apologetic, but if you’re in a hurry, this isn’t your place. That said, if you want to chill, don’t mind paying premium prices, and are into vegan-forward menus (or just love real cheddar), Jitters is a cool spot to unwind—just plan ahead.

Came here after seeing a coffee lovers IG advertisement. Another plus was hearing about the owners and the potential for meeting Jason. The atmosphere is cute and cosy, and the avocado toast is LOADED and delicious! The "latte" was super disappointing...not your typical craft latte. Tasted a lot more like drip coffee with a splash of milk. (Picture as presented :/ ) If you"re vegan you'll appreciate the flavors of their food. Never saw Jason! :( But in all seriousness, great avocados.

CHILL LITTLE SHOP w/ mid-tier donut options. I stopped by per my Mom's recommendation as we heard good things about Parlor. It's a pretty big donut organization now across the US, so we decided to try it. I wasn't a major fan of the bread ratio inside my "Sandy Beach" donut. My mom and some other reviews said they're going for a cronut style of pastry. However, this wasn't flaky nor tasted like a cronut. It just felt like an excessive amount of bread without flavor, aside from the top and outer bread layer. The flavor wasn't bad on the outside (it was actually pretty good), however the inside was very underwhelming. Its a shame as the outside of the "donut" tasted like a mix of apple pie and cinnamon roll. I'll give the shop credit for their tasty coffee, I loved my layered cold brew! Service was also hit or miss, a young couple in front of me was treated poorly. I didn't like that. I was treated pretty well, but I hate to see other people my age get mistreated. Only one younger guy (an employee) who was working double time had a nice attitude. My Dad and I were disappointed as the autumn specialty items were not available. This was not a inventory issue, they just didn't have anything ready. I wasn't a fan of the decor, it just was too over the top in some places. I did enjoy the lighting and retro feel, but it felt like this location was trying too hard with the excessive decorations in the background. The bathroom was gross and unkempt. Overall, there's lots of improvements needed at this location, however I believe in second chances so I want to try their other items, maybe I'll be surprised?

The doughnuts here are really good! I saw a lot of people walking at the Oside Beach with boxes of these and I went it to get one and a cup of coffee. The service was great, servers are super friendly. The ambience is chill and welcoming. The doughnuts looked tasty and they have mini doughnuts too plus the prices are reasonable. I got the maple bacon and it was delicious paired with their latte. I also came back to but the mini doughnuts and my friends enjoyed every flavor.

If you want a delicious homemade donut this is the place to go in Oceanside! Only reason it’s not 5 stars is that they were so busy the three flavors I wanted were sold out and fresh ones not made yet. I had to pick a fourth option on my donut choice. Not completely their fault that their donuts are so good they fly off the shelf! Then there is only outside first come first serve limited seating outside.

This is hands down the best and most authentic donut place! Every donut tastes amazing, soft, and full of flavor. Every time we’re in town, we have to stop by and grab some because they’re just that good. It’s definitely a must-visit spot for anyone who loves donuts!

Beyond Disappointing. Please note this review is specifically for the Vegan & Gluten Free Donuts. I’ll gladly update this review if there are updated/changes to these options. For a place that takes pride (clearly visible in their regular donuts), why the hell would you put vegan & gluten free in the same donut without providing regular vegan options too? To top it off, all the donuts are $4.25 EACH for the tiniest bite size donut. It doesn’t matter what kind of toppings, frosting, glaze etcetera that you put on it, a gluten free item is tasteless (or I should say tastes the exact same with a worse after taste than any regular dairy made donut). Also for those that are unaware, most gluten free items are dry too. It doesn’t say on the menu nor did the very sweet & kind hostess that helped us tell me about them until after I asked her what those little tiny things the Pastry Chef was making in the back. She said those are your donuts & proceeded to tell me they were baked not fried & that they were both vegan & gluten free. I was ordering these donuts thinking that they had the option of EITHER vegan OR gluten free options. Very disappointing considering I researched this space & was told by local friends that it’s a must. The regular donuts look absolutely gorgeous & taste (I had to stay neutral about the overall venue & took a bite of my Girlfriends donut) pretty damn good. Do better on the Vegan & Gluten Free donuts. Keep up the high integrity & high quality product that you showcase in the glass cases up front. I’ll look forward to coming back in the future. Hopefully there will be some better options (I’m back in town in November). Thank you Team Parlor Doughnuts for the overall hospitality.

Visiting parlor doughnuts is a must if you’re in Oceanside! The flavors are absolutely delicious and unique—each one bursts with creativity and freshness. What really sets them apart is their unique dough—similar to a croissant and perfectly soft, fluffy, moist, and has a nice chew. The coconut cream filled one was flavorful without being overly sweet. The peanut butter cup had a good balance of peanut butter and chocolate, not too overpowering. The maple pecan was on the sweeter side but absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to try more!

We couldn’t get enough Parlor Doughnuts during our one week stay in Oceanside. We wanted to try them all but there are too many flavors. We loved the apple pie one and coconut cream filled. What a unique take on the over populated standard doughnut market. I think that’s why they’re so popular. Don’t plan on eating there, they don’t have seating. Walk down to Pannikin to get a coffee with your sweets.

I used to love their sandwiches, but they’ve changed so much now. Ingredients are much cheaper and with half the quantity as before even though the prices have gone up. Definitely not worth the price now even though the bread and pastries are good

I finally discovered Prager Bros and Ian now done purchasing store bought bread. I purchased their focaccia bread to go with my pasta dinner and what a wonderful choice I made. The Ginger Molasses cookie is mouthwatering and I could keep eating them. Everyone was very nice and very knowledgeable about all the products. I will definitely be making a weekly trip to this place. 🥖🥨🥐🍞🥯

Delicious fresh made assorted pastries. They also have great, fresh sandwiches for a quick lunch, along with their Prager Bros pizza shop next door. The staff is super friendly and fast. Often have live music on weekend mornings. 10/10 love Prager Bros!

The owner of the shop seems really nice at first, once you get talking with him he becomes very condescending and sometimes passive aggressive. He down talked me many times and made me feel very stupid and unwelcome. Additionally, the way he treats some of his employees is the exact same. He is constantly on some weird power trip. I don’t know, I think he needs to go to therapy and be held accountable for being unwelcoming and rude. What did it for me was the way he talks down on his employees (which is okay until a certain extent) is so dehumanizing and rude I just can’t give this business my time or money anymore unless some changes are made. Another lapse of treatment I’ve observed here at this establishment is the female manager. The way she carries herself is almost insufferable, her ego clearly overrides her judgement especially in the treatment of her employees was honestly really shocking when i witnessed it, and she only acts like this when the owner is not around. She seems extremely fake and self absorbed. As a business owner, I feel you should be choosing your staff more wisely but how is that possible if you can’t even address yourself? Very disappointing to see this kind of behavior, especially from a coffee shop I had loved to support. Can confidently say I will not be going back there unless attitudes are changed and people can be held accountable or hold themselves accountable for mistreating their customers and employees.

Prager Brothers is an unexpected delight for this light industrial complex. The honey vanilla coffee cake is excellent! The staff was helpful in making the choice between all of their delicious options. The prices are very reasonable. They have a wide variety of baked goods. The parking is a bit slim directly in front of the bakery, but overall, there is plenty of parking around the area and on the street nearby by. This whole area is pretty quiet, it's a great place to grab a snack and a drink from any of the surrounding businesses. Some days there is local musicians performing at the joining businesses as well. If you look through the windows inside you get to see the bakers work their magic. There is seating indoors and out. Great place to visit all tear around.

Prager Brothers is always delicious and if you wanna get out of the hustle it’s such a great chill place for lunch. They have amazing pizzas and sandwiches and all kinds of other goodies. You can sit outside and enjoy views of the surrounding hills. They even have live music some days. The staff is always friendly and—honestly so are the other patrons. Good vibes 😎😎🥰🥰 I highly recommend this place.

Put an order in for a cake 4 days early called us an hour before it was due for pickup. The lady was rude and didn't care the cake wasn't going to be ready. They were able to get our cake but it's was not a good experience.

So many choices, very friendly staff. Everything is clean but may have seen a few too many years, as in it looked exactly as my last visit at least eight years ago.

Looked around a lot for an ice cream cake but no one had stock though they sell them. But this place is great was a small cake cost about 23 and she was able to squeeze in happy birthday ... Good job 👏 ! The small girl at the cash counter was also very friendly helped me get the cake into the bag. A nice outlet with great n friendly customer service.

Normally I do not go to fancy schmancy named places, however my significant other has a sweet tooth, me?, I am a savory guy.. Any-hoo, picked up some sweets, she lived them..but me, I zeroed in on the baguettes...now bread and butter..I am in heaven. They have good bread. If you are interested, I am the Master-Blaster of "Scooby Snacks"! News flash, it involves baguettes! If you like pastries, and have a sweet tooth, stop by, but if you are manly savory guy, and love baguette and butter..(pepper jack cheese and hard Salami slices too)..this place is a GO at this station...if you are in the neighborhood Enjoy

Seniors Samba's post & pic got us in here. We bought an assortment of their treats, to try out. Got here around 8am, & all 4 goodies we bought were warm, light, buttery & flaky-fantabulous! These pastries were so good, & even better with a cup of their delicious coffee. I liked their raisin roll & the apricot & custard croissant the best. I saved the pastry, with whole plump blueberries nestled in the center of it, for the next day. We also purchased one of their fresh baguettes. Le Rendez-Vous French Bakery has very solid fresh-baked French pastries here! They also serve quiches & sandwiches, as well.

I ordered sourdough walnut few weeks ago on a Saturday to pick up at certain hour but when I pick it up late the old lady at the counter had a nasty look on me was so rude and nasty that she said she sold it to somebody else cause I was late. I called again today to order she asked do you need it today? She said it's only available on Wednesday and at Farmer's market. It's in their menu but doesn't say so this bakery is a huge disappointment and has a very bad customer service.

This has the best baguette in town!! Also, very delicious cakes and pastries!

I unfortunately, I had to change my five star review of this Bakery. It has truly gone downhill after the French girl quit probably because of the way they conduct their business. The quality bread has gone downhill rapidly, and the service has gone downhill as quickly as that. Nine dollars for a loaf of bread, which needs to slice now they want to charge to even slice it. Taking advantage of their customers who are loyal and have been coming there every week since they opened no more.

Best customer service! I recommend this bakery. We had raspberry cheesecake and tiramsu at their outside area. We ordered a mango mousse birthday cake. Perfect! If you are in Oceanside, do visit it! yummy goodies!

Ordered a dozen cup cakes, a package of brownies, and a 6- inch chocolate cake. The cake was frozen. I let it sit all morning, perfect for dinner. Frosting was Buttery, not overly sweet, cake batter great too. Have not tried the brownies yet. But they look good. If not in the mood to bake these treats, then this is my solution for a chocolate craving fix. Better than supermarket cake/ frosting ANYDAY.

We got a gluten free cake for our anniversary and it was SO good. We love their cupcakes and the cake is just as delicious! The cake was $125 and they even gave us a fully punched out rewards card which was so kind.

Delicious! We can see why they have won Cupcake Wars twice. We will return (we drove over from Oceanside just for these to try for the first time because of an Instagram post by Eating Oceanside). We had the Champagne, German Chocolate, and Lemon cupcakes. A little pricey and we forgot to ask for our 20% discount. Oh well. Next time!

Such a cute store and nice employees. They have vegan and gluten-free cupcakes, as well as regular ones. They have drinks too! Only a few seats inside and outside. Most likely, you will have to take it to go. No bathroom here.

Cute little shop! Service was friendly and helpful deciding which flavors to try. Cupcakes are conveniently offered in a custom box of 4, which I appreciated. They also offer rewards cards for frequent flyers! The almond and the pumpkin chocolate flavors are my favorites so far. I'll have to come back to try more!

Tan’s Donuts. I used to come here in the late 1980s and early 1990s when I was a college student. Snacking on a donut, black coffee, I’d sit at a table and review my class notes there once or twice a week. The original owners, Mr. & Mrs. Tan and their daughters, worked very hard and had an excellent product and reputation. I’ve recently dropped in after many years away. Three times in the last 10 days! Around noon or later in the afternoon. It’s still a nice donut shop. A little darker environment I think but more food items and beverages are available. The two ladies who work the counter are friendly, imho, and have nice but reluctant smiles. I’ll come back again for a donut or two. I just can’t come as often as in my youth. 01-02-2025

Delicious little donut corner shop. Donuts always fresh daily, and I always get a chai to to go with a box of dozen End up spending about $30 on a dozen and the tea but totally worth it as a treat.

Washed my car down the street and got hungry. Decided to stop by this place and ordered the chilaquiles plate but ordered them divorciados(half red half green) I also added a piece of arachera(skirt steak) l definitely a 10/10 plate! Highly recommended

Food was really good, those large tacos are worth the money for sure. Respectful staff and they were very nice. Tacos were a bit oily but not to a diabetic amount, and the tortillas were freshly made and tasted fantastic definitely coming back here. Very good bakery as well bread was soft and sweet.

Torta is bigger than I expected. I didn't think I can eat it by myself, but I was able to eat it because it was delicious! Fries aren't salty, so you can eat it unless you have to care of your blood high pressure. This is not only restaurant but also market. They have some Mexican bread and something. (Torta $15.14)

Oh my gosh, this place is absolutely adorable! It feels like a little hidden gem. There are countless succulent plants everywhere, adding such a fun vibe. I ordered the Dirty Chai, and let me tell you, it's my absolute favorite coffee! ☕ The entire spot is spotless, making it such a delightful place to hang out and enjoy some time. I just love it!

Tucked into a weathered brick building with more history than signage, we stumbled on this cool little coffee spot that felt as comfortable as dropping by a neighbour’s. Peter has clearly poured his passion into the space. Succulents in quirky containers, strings of pearls cascading down the brick, greenery tucked into unexpected corners. Americano and latte were easily among the best we’ve had. Exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble across on holiday.

This is one of my favorite places in Oceanside to just sit and chill and enjoy a lovely surrounding! Coffee is delicious and service is good. However, after breakfast today, I hurried over to make sure I had enough time to sit and enjoy. Hours stated it was open until 1pm, but when I arrived, the doors and entire cafe was shut down at 12:30pm. I took the train from San Diego and was extremely disappointed. This place used to be open Sundays until 3 and had live jazz and now it apparently closed pretty early.

Such a beautiful spot!!! It was one of the most unique coffee shops we visited during our stay in Oceanside. The decor is beautiful and the location very unique. The service was excellent. Delicious matcha as well as lemonade.

The cupcakes are good and flavourful, not overly sweet, although pricey. It's about $4 per cupcake, and almost double that to "create" your own. The location itself is clean and colorful. It would be a nice place for a kids party. It also has a cute selection of cupcake and candy inspired novelty gifts. They also sell shaved ice and 3 flavors of ice cream.

Your cupcakes are $3.50 a piece and they offer a wide variety of selection seems like the most basic ones are the tastiest. Sometimes they have a Groupon our local flavor coupon we can get $20 worth of stuff for $10.

The cupcakes here were not bad. I must say that I enjoyed the cake part very much, very moist and well baked. For some reason I wasn’t that thrilled with the frosting on these cupcakes which is odd, huh? They are about 3.50 a piece which is kinda the going rate these days for a really good cupcake. I ordered a half dozen and got one free. So far I tried the chocolate, red velvet, and mango pineapple, again the cake portion was very yummy. I tried the apple pie cupcake and enjoyed it all! I think the cupcakes are kept very very cold and that was why I didn’t care for frosting when I first bought them.

Over priced for the quality. Average to good quality cupcakes but nothing special. The do it yourself designer cupcake is a great concept but the cupcakes are small in size and you pay over $7 per cupcake. Why? Not at all worth it for the small size. The premade cupcakes are fine but the cost is still questionable. Staff was been slow and not attentive the two times I've gone. Won't be going back when I can go down to Barnes and Noble's cafe and get Cheesecake Factory products for the same price.

Atmosphere and friendly staff and owner make this place incredible! It's bright, clean, colorful, and kid friendly. They offer free samples to help you try their delicious cupcakes and they are very kind and personable. A+++ I'm so impressed!

She explained fully what had happened, offered a full refund, the contents of the delivery, as well as offered a complimentary 10 person party. She was very genuine and explained what they were doing to prevent anything like this from happening in the future. Professionally handled. Looking forward to getting cupcakes with them in the future

I live in Oceanside and decided to cruise to Carlsbad to check out Plantiful Kitchen. I saw the cookies and said, how could I choose just one!? I picked up the chocolate macadamia, double chocolate walnut, and chocolate chip cookie — and wow! They’re grain-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free, but you’d never know it. They’re so healthy yet absolutely packed with flavor. Each bite was rich, satisfying, and totally guilt-free. DELISH!

I live in Encinitas and was so excited to find out about Plantiful Kitchen in Carlsbad. As someone who loves clean, healthy treats, this place is a dream come true. Believe me—the cookies are absolutely delicious! They taste even better than traditional cookies, and you can really tell how clean and high-quality the ingredients are. I’m always on the lookout for places like this, and Plantiful Kitchen exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Love this place! I’ve been vegan for years now, and I’m so used to only having a couple options to choose from, but everything here is vegan AND gluten free, wow!! The owner deleted my review from her website several times now, even though it was respectful and honest. I’m posting here because people deserve to know how concerns are handled — especially those of us with serious health conditions. I ordered online from Plantiful Kitchen because I have severe food sensitivities and chronic health conditions, and I was drawn to their allergy-conscious marketing. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The box arrived hot to the touch during a 90+ degree heat wave and was visibly crushed. As someone with medical conditions like histamine intolerance, warm shipping like this makes the product unsafe for me to eat. I reached out respectfully, hoping to work something out — but was met with a dismissive and blame-filled response. I was told I should have contacted them ahead of time to request ice (even though the website clearly says they don’t use ice and no option was presented at checkout). I was denied a refund and told I should have purchased insurance. This was a lot of money wasted, and I still have no food I can safely eat. For a company that claims to serve customers with dietary needs, there was no empathy, no accountability, and no willingness to support someone with a disability. I won’t be ordering again, and I would strongly caution others with chronic illness or food sensitivities.

OMG! Im from out of state, and was visiting family in CA, my sister recommended Plantiful Kitchen, a gluten free & refined sugar free bakery in Carlsbad CA, for me to check out. I decided on their Salted Caramel Pecan Cookie. You would never believe it’s gluten free! If you’re looking for a gluten free sweet treat, you should stop by!

The service is excellent. Super welcoming and friendly. The desserts are delicious. The tiramisu was my favorite, followed by the berry cheesecake. And the ingredients are super clean, gluten-free, vegan, paleo, no seed oils...and so good!

Doughnuts were pretty good and sold at an average price. They don't have much beyond the traditional variety, but I liked what I had. The cake based doughnuts are super soft and fluffy. Also appreciated the service. They threw in an extra doughnut and some doughnut-holes free of charge.

While vacationing in Oceanside, this donut shop was within walking distance from our rental. They had AMAZING donuts and staff!

If you're on Coast highway and looking for the best donut, look no further. SK's has an incredible and delicious selection to choose from, and each time I've gone they've thrown in an extra donut or a few donut holes for free. Even if the donuts were mediocre, the freebies would make this place worth it. But once you factor in their delicious donuts, choosing SK's becomes a no-brainer. Price is good too. Today I bought three ring donuts and paid $5.00 (plus they threw in four donut holes for free, which I didn't even discover until I had gotten to the car). I could not recommend this establishment enough. 10/10 Oh and they take cash or card.

This is our favorite donut shop! The sandwiches are yummy too and the smoothies! They added a few donut holes to our order. They were fast and efficient. We go out of our way to stop by when on vacation. The buttermilk, blueberry, apple fritter, maple donuts are all delicious! We were so excited we forgot to take pictures before we started eating!

The donuts are fluffy if that's what you like. They're pretty generous too. Also, the apple fritter was consistently good throughout each bite, and it didn't feel heavy in my stomach.

Visiting the area and walked over here about 7am. Owners are super friendly! Bought a dozen donuts and some donut holes and they threw in some extras. Also grabbed a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich—AMAZING! If you like GREAT donuts or breakfast sandwiches, go here!

The Hubs and I went here for the first time after living in the area for years. OMG!! So yum! We both ordered breakfast sandwiches on bagels and a donut for later. I used to LOVE this place. They USED to be accommodating and kind and cared about their customers. Before this morning, I would have said 5 stars.. Now? 1 star. That’s how bad this morning’s experience was. My friend and I came to get a dozen donuts, a blended coffee, a smoothie, and a turkey melt… we got the donuts, great.. they charged us an extra dollar to split the dozen into two boxes… fine. Got the coffee, great… then when I asked if they could substitute the milk in the smoothie for apple juice, (which I have done MANY times here) they flat out said no. Come to find out, the “milk” in their smoothies is creamer!! WHAT? So no smoothie… then my friend ask for a turkey melt… I attached a photo of the end result, which they charged her $10 for… enough said.

Great little local donut shop where the coffee and donuts are the star of the show but there also have speciality juices and sandwiches. The Bear Claws are especially delicious and fruit stuffed which was a pleasant surprise.

Ordered food off of DoorDash from this location. They they must have been out of the donuts that I ordered because I got six doughnuts in my original order. They never contacted me to let me know of this issue, they only made the decision on their own. I complained, and no refund was issued for their mistake. The receipt is attached. I received 2 fritters, a maple bar, 2 honey wheat crumb doughnut, and some kind of doughnut without any glaze. This is not what I ordered. I started to eat one of the fritters but threw the rest away. It was inedible. The maple bar was good. Do not order from here. Terrible customer service and stale doughnuts.

Yum Yum Donuts is a delightful little local shop that will not disappoint! This business has been around the Oceanside area for quite some time. This donut shop has survived many challenges since I was just a young boy. These donuts are not trying to invent anything. They do regular donuts with regular flavors and they do it good! A sugary bite of each delicious donut makes you forget how many calories you are actually eating. So if you are on a diet... Beware! If you are not on a diet or watching what you eat then why not indulge since the price is so affordable! The interior is not jaw dropping, there is a display area where all the yummy donuts are shown, a cash register, and a handful of stables for interior dining. This place does not offer outdoor seating. It does offer social distancing though! The parking lot is limited but unless every single office in Oceanside is throwing a breakfast party at the same time, then parking should not be an issue. One of the best parts of this donut shop is that it's open 24 hrs! So if you have the munchies or are just craving the sugary bread, this place has you covered! If you are looking for a fresh batch of donuts at an affordable price at anytime of the day, Yum Yum Donuts is the place to go!

I tell you what, I've gone out of my way for these donuts, I like the cake style dounuts generally speaking, but I have had their sandwiches and they where fast and tasty, The bacon is not crispy so if you prefer floppy bacon (Some people do) it's fine, I really love the fresh squeezed juice drinks they have but Can't recommend the green one because I want to be sure they still have one to grab when I come in :-p. If you are in the area to get your car washed at the superstar car wash and realize you haven't eaten check this little place out. Can't recommend the coffee because its a bit too basic for my taste but in a pinch it works. Staff is friendly enough and I no complaints.

Fantastic donut shop! I remember coming here when I was younger and it’s still just as amazing now. The donuts are warm and delicious, the iced coffee is homemade AND they take debit/credit cards now (beware there is a $10 minimum though.) I’ll be back again soon!

The best nuts and bolts donut shop in San Diego County. Hands down. The eating experience is very clean - no weird, greasy mouth film post-donut. The donuts are light without being dried out. There is a mastery and precision here that you won’t find at other Southern CA mom and pop donut outfits. I grew up down the street but this isn’t a nostalgia-based bias. I’ve tried them all but I keep going back to the glazed twist. Simple is often the hardest thing to nail and they hit it out of the park. The cruller is available on a limited schedule and is supreme. Perfectly moist, almost custard-like. I would eat donuts every day, but only partake when I’m in the neighborhood and K-Donut happens to be open. I refuse to eat donuts anywhere else.

My hubby found this amazing asian owned donut shop that has awesome breakfast sandwiches. My favorite is the bacon egg & cheese on a homemade Cresent. 10 stars for its presentation.

The donuts are delicious but they always run out super early. Never make enough to get through the morning. So if you don’t get there before 10am, there’s nothing left.

I got two standards, one a buttermilk old fashioned, and the other a Boston creme. The old fashioned was quite excellent. Well made, but with a bit more icing than desired, but we are very occasional donut partisans, so we're not used to too much sugar. The Boston creme was disappointing. There really wasn't much filling involved, which is the whole point of the donut for me. Bready and boring.

We promised donuts for a breakfast while watching the grandkids so grandpa got up early and made his way to Donuts Park. Easy to find with plenty of parking next to Domino's Pizza. Good selection of donuts and very friendly service I select a dozen to go and also a dozen donut holes as well. Plenty of delicious donuts in their display cases at very reasonable prices. This is a cash only business so be sure to have some with you prior to ordering. Everyone liked the donuts and I can say the apple fritters were outstanding, good size and priced right. Donuts Park is definitely worth a visit. Great 5 star donut shop.

This is my personal indulgence and where I buy breakfast and treats for my employees on staff meeting days. Sovi is so kind and friendly; she gets the morning off to a great start. Prices are very fair, the donuts are yummy, the buttermilk mini loaves are my favorites, and the croissant sandwiches are perfect.
