Don't order it from a delivery app unless you want to receive a destroyed cake like I did. Our cake was a whopping $40 (150 dirhams) for a plain fruit cake, and we didn't enjoy it at all. The fruit was NOT fresh, fruit was cut way too big to even fit in your mouth, and WAY too much icing! Absolutely not worth the high price. This was my first time buying a cake in the UAE and now it's also my last. Next time I'll make it myself.

Went down a treat. I would advice the store to use a bigger box for tall cakes and not one universal one that doesn't shut, unless you want your cake spoilt. An important aspect is packaging also. Pricey but worth it for a birthday.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the cake delivered today, 21st of June. The cake arrived with the topping spilled all over the inside of the box. This is unacceptable!.

The cakes became in very low quality regarding chocolate and cream becomes very sugary not like before at all. In the past mister Baker was my favourite now I will not buy from it again

The place is nice and quiet but it seems they have a lot of orders and the delivery guys keep opening the door and you can’t have quite time to enjoy ur time there the food is very good and I would come back for pickup next time I do recommend Zatar croissant

*Disappointing Experience at Gulf Bakery* I'm a regular customer at Gulf Bakery, but my latest visit was a letdown. I arrived with my baby in a stroller, and when I tried to enter the store, I struggled to open the door. I gestured to the staff through the window, but they ignored me, too engrossed in their conversation. When I tried to get their attention again, two staff members even shouted at me. This isn't the first time I've experienced poor service here. Given the heat outside and the fact that I was with a baby, I expected more understanding and assistance. As a regular customer, it's disheartening to see such a decline in service. Hopefully, the management will address these issues to improve the customer experience.

I was quite skeptical about Gulf bakery initially as I didn't really how awesome bakery products are made and served here. But as of today I am a total fan of Gulf bakery. They serve delicious cakes, pastries, cookies, mousse, puddings, chocolates, baked products and many other delicacies... Once you step inside you can't really resist yourself from indulging into so tempting and mouth watering sweets and treats. The best part is that they take and accept custom orders - so of you wish something custom made you can simply give the instructions and get it prepared. They have eggless products as well - for those who are strictly vegetarian and do not prefer eggs in cakes, pastries and cookies. But you can definitely order and get prepared eggless products.

I am a die-hard fan of bakeries & confectioneries and have been on the lookout in UAE to find the best bakery place. They have amazing breads, really soft and fresh. The rolls are filling and you definitely can't get enough of the chicken roll. Unlike many places, the pizza slices are fresh and tasty. The sweets are well balanced to serve one's sweet-tooth craving while being not too sweet. If in Rak and a bakery fan, then gulf bakery is definitely a must visit. While my search continues, Gulf Bakery in Rak is a leading contender for my search as it checks all the boxes for my bakery needs.

I went to gulf bakery today around 7:15pm. Glacie was the cashier who misbehaved with me and shouted at me for now reason. I am very disappointed in the way a customer has been treated by the employee.

A fantastic place for exquisite cakes. Birthday? Special event? They can make what you need if you give them enough time. Need something fast? Check what they've got on demand. 4 birthdays I've bought cakes for my kids and they've never disappointed! Very polite and professional staff.

The cakes in general are delicious but too much sweety -Regarding the prices are little bit expensive ( cash and credit acceptable) The staff were cool. - you can not eat in the place, takeaway or ask for delivery. Manager has no people skills at the RAK branch. Cake fell (two top tiers collapsed) and he blamed us. The black icing colour was all over our hands, mouth and tongues. He said, ‘you are not suppose to eat this cake with hands’. The cake filling was nice, sponge soft but overall what a disappointment. Luckily staff at Al Marjan Hotel helped fix it as it was a surprise bday party. Also my poop was green for 2 days because of the plant based dye colour they used!!! Kept going on about having 30 years experience baking cakes, but his customer service was awful. Also when asked who owns the bakery his sarcastic reply was, ‘he’s a sheikh, you wanna speak to sheikh’ and we replied of course but he didn’t give us the number. Continuously raised his voice and had to be reminded to lower his tone!!!

Most amazing customer service I have experienced in the UAE. Mr Rolan is fantastic. Superb desserts I especially like the individual desserts which are the perfect size for one person and super yummy!!! Reccomend this place 100%

Get you an ice cream parlor that allows you to try all flavors. I got full just by all the tasting we did but of course I wouldn’t miss buying a double scoop for myself to go. Definitely recommending this place to those visiting RAK! The gelato is super good and creamy. Doesnt taste cheap at all. You get more than what you pay for!

I had a delightful experience at this charming little ice cream spot opposite the beach. Their wide selection of gelato flavors is impressive, and the pistachio gelato was a personal favorite. The staff is incredibly sweet and welcoming. They also have a range of delicious milkshakes and coffee options. A must-visit for a tasty treat by the sea!

It is a small place, little "hidden gem". The staff is very friendly, the gelato is excellent! ( can recommend raspberry, strawberry and yoghurt/berry) and coffee was great as well. There is not much space inside to sit, but since it is next to the sea, it's nice to take a stroll with this amasing gelato enjoying on the way🙂 we will stop by again

My go-to place whenever I feel like having ice cream gelato, it's good and always leaves me refreshed. And you should try their signature Doughnut Cookie while you are there. Good stuff!

I chanced upon this wonderful place @browniecafe.rak while going for a long drive to Jabal Jais in Ras Al Khaimah. Its conveniently located on the main road and they have lots of choice, good ingredients and just the right portion to allow you to share and sample a few of the different varieties. Although the food was excellent, the thing i liked the most was ambiance with comfortable seating, beautiful decor and lots of windows. We go very often to purchase bread and snacks from this outlet. The food has always been up to standard and more than that we like the customer service. Specially like to mention two employees, Christine and Bidjith who always welcome us in a very hospitable and friendly manner. Please keep them in this outlet without changing them as we look forward to seeing them every time we visit.

You can get the same breads at any other bakery. Hot Breads has some great desserts that you can't get elsewhere. Restaurant quality deserts for a fraction of the price. These are great for home or to bring to a party 🥳

This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots, especially for their tea and sweets that capture the authentic flavors of India. Whether it's their perfectly spiced chai or traditional one, everything tastes just like home. All the food here—from snacks and cakes to patties, sweets, and main courses—is always fresh and full of flavor. The restaurant is also very well maintained, with a clean and hygienic environment. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always greet you with a smile.

Visited this resturant in Rak in group the vibe was nice &staff was also nice, BUT each dish take too much of time to be served. Hontesly didn't like the dal makhni & pannner tikka too much color & no taste which most staple food for any vegetarian. Breads were nice& brownie with ice cream was good.

The food was not flavoured and the veggies were burnt. It didn't taste like a steak at all. And you could get the burnt smell. I was very disappointed since we love the short eats at Caesars and we didn't expect the dining to be like this.

We visited her for my father in laws 71st birthday party. I must say the staff is quite accommodating and quick at their service. The interiors are great and the upper section is specially for family people who need privacy. It's good that staff understand this and never bother until you are ready for your order. There's a buzzer inside Incase you need to reach out to the service attendant. We were here almost till midnight 12 and the team not once made us feel that you need to hurry and leave as it's a closing time. We ordered a lot of stuffs: 1. Chicken fried rice 2. Veg kabab 3. Cheese garlic naan--- it's super duper cheesy 4. Egg fried rice 5. Crispy fish fingers 6. Squids 7. Soft drinks 8. Chicken chili 9. Dynamite shrimps 10. Chicken tikka Infact many more but can't recollect as we were a group of at least 12 ppl. Service was great and the food taste and quality was good enough for all In spite of having so many dishes the price was really affordable. We paid almost 650 AED for once we couldn't believe but yes it's really worth it. Staff members who took great care and were quite friendly and professional at the same time. I would like to leave the best impression of the restaurant. Good ambience, delicious food, and excellent service. Must try the sizzling brownies and ceasers sizzler. Our menu included ceasers sizzler, mutton rogan josh, penne pasta, garlic nan and roti And sizzling brownies which was enough for 4 at an affordable price

The location and ambience is very good, but it is alone is not enough. We ordered full tandoori chicken, chicken sizzler and fried rice. For tandoori chicken full they charged 40 but not even a salad they gave with it and even good presentation. Fried rice was very much dry and Tate average. Sizzler was also average. There was no good presentation for all the foods we ordered for example if you go to Emirates sea restaurant and order tandoori means they will provide there types of chutney and they will present it will art work salad such which . Comparing to Emirates sea restaurant, Taj al bahr here ythe taste and presentation of food is average only.

I'd recommend some adjustments to the pasta sauce and chicken wing seasoning for a more balanced flavor. However, I would definitely return for the bruschetta!

I have ordered risotto and it was just normal quality of rice with oil full of fat not even a pinch of salt this is not acceptable for this much of money gone to waste. Their food quality and taste is not consistent so good luck go to vapiano it’s way better

The food was cold. We ordered a chicken pizza and got may be 4 slices of chicken only. Creamy Soup was watery. Salad was good. Had a great experience at Il Forno in Manar Mall! The food was delicious — especially the pasta and pizza, both fresh and full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. A special mention to Hajar, our server, who was extremely polite, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Excellent service and great food — highly recommend!

Honestly, this was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The food was completely disappointing – served cold, lacking flavor, and clearly not fresh. The service made everything worse: the staff were careless, unfriendly, and extremely slow, as if they had no interest in serving customers at all. To make it even worse, the restaurant itself was dirty – the tables weren’t cleaned properly, the floor was sticky, and there was a very unpleasant smell inside the place. I felt like I wasted both my time and money here, and I would never consider coming back. If you’re looking for good food, clean atmosphere, and decent service, this is definitely NOT the place. I strongly recommend avoiding it at all costs

Fresh tasty bread... Different types of bread available and freshly baked ( Arabic, Egyptian,fateer,cake, manakeesh) friendly helpful staff ...... The bread in the picture is the arabic bread and I think it is the only bakery that made this type in Ras-ALkhaimah ..... It’s recommended to try the hot fresh bread there( you will eat it all before you will reach home😂😂😂)

Baskin Robbins ice cream, don’t need review on their ice cream. It is famous for its taste and flavors. Location is very good and you can enjoy the view of Al Qawasim corniche while seating outside. It also has inside seating and you can relax in air conditioner when outside is hot and humid. Staff is enough to serve so many customers at once, so you need not to wait.

My friend and I had a major ice cream craving in the middle of the night, so we pulled up to the Corniche branch (shoutout for being open late!). Patrick was the one in charge—super friendly, super accommodating, and just had the best vibes. He made the whole experience feel extra fun. 10/10 customer service. Big thumbs up to Patrick for making our random ice cream run a whole vibe!

The unique design of the restaurant makes it distinguishable. Wide choice of sweets. It has many branches (and not all are the same in terms of service and taste of dishes). It also makes it's own chocolates.

We are such meat lovers🥰 it's very nice food with unique atmosphere. And I will tell you the secret that butter with herbs which they are giving with the bread in the beginning is the best one I've tried in my life, I didn't know that I can become butter lover also!!!🥰

One of my favorite restaurants, very nice setting area, wonderful view outside, delicious food and amazing Turkish coffee.. The only negative thing that is very noisy.. We come for relaxation and enjoying quietness and reading but families with uncontrolled kids destroying all the beautiful moments.. It will be appreciated if the management allocate place for families with kids.

They keep changing the price of breads to their likings. Yesterday I went to them and asked for a certain type of bread and they said the price is 1.25 per packet, Now today they are saying it's 1.30 and just few minutes later they are saying it's 1.57. I'm like what???. Anyways I told them I don't need the product and took the business elsewhere who gave the item at the price they mentioned yesterday unlike these people. Forgot to mention their attitude so bad as well

I was really disappointed with the cake which I bought from al reem bakery, the outer was extremely thick and hard making it very difficult to even cut the cake properly. It was so bad that we couldn't serve that part to our guest, and unfortunately,about 70% of the cake was just this thick, inedible layer. It really ruined the experience. I ordered the cake expecting a better quality from al reem bakery.

I’m a regular customer and truly appreciate the convenience and service your store provides. However, I would like to raise a concern regarding inconsistent pricing that I’ve experienced recently. Just a few days ago, I purchased one roti and a triangular pizza and was charged AED 7.25. I was given AED 2.75 in change from a AED 10 note. However, today, I bought the exact same items and was charged only AED 4.25. This inconsistency is quite confusing. The displayed prices should match what is being charged at the counter. I’m concerned that such variations—especially when children come in large numbers during school dismissal times—could lead to misunderstandings or even overcharging, as they may not be aware of the correct prices. Al Reem Bakery showcases a variety of bread, snacks, savouries and pastries. What we love most are the samosas, puffs and custom made cakes to order. One thing commendable is that their snacks have fillings to the brim, unlike many other places where fillings are just for namesake. Their breads are also good. Must try their chapatis and fattayer in particular. On the sweet side, must try their fruit cake and chocolate cake. You could also ask for custom made pastry platter like the one shown below. And the best part is they are very affordable. They have multiple branches and make sure you do try them out once.

Highly disappointed with them . I ordered my first cake from them for 40 AED . After that i asked my sister also to order from them as they can make quickly and not much costly. Recently i asked them to make cake for me all of a sudden they started charging 50 AED when i asked for the reason the person was so rude he said * banane ka hai toh bolo warna nahi* but i still said tell me a reason why within 3 days you raised your price to 50 he said BAKER said so. Lunch at Panaderia Restaurant, ordered my all time favourite kare kare. Food was great, service needs a bump. Served a little late, might be from deliveries. Also tried Isaw, a favourite street food in the Philippines.

First time tried Philippinos bakery and I have to say its very good. The prices were so reasonable, almost cost nothing. The items main quality is they are baked fresh out of the oven. Very nice service, good croissant, card or cash accepted, ordered for take-out and the box was soo cute! The only downside was there was no menu displayed, but they had a QR code you could scan; however, as a tourist who doesn't have access to data I was unable to use said QR code. It would be helpful to have one printed menu or some other way to show the menu.

Not even a star. I asked for a ginger tea and confirmed I will be served one. Waited for almost 45 minutes. Tried to get eye contact at last I was given a cold ginger shot. And all I got is " I'm not the one who took your order" . Did I speak another language other then English definitely not. Do the staff understand definitely yes. And the attitude of the male staff shows he s the one upset not me wasting my time and the place was not even busy to miscommunicate or misunderstanding my request.

The cafe is so pretty and quiet it’s not busy most of the day so you can come and take some photos comfortably that’s not mean their food aren’t tasty it is but most of their customers order while they’re in them cars 🤍

The place is cute and comfortable with a wide variety of choices. First time I visited I had a croissant which unfortunately tasted stale and very dry. The second time I had the omelette (pictured) and it was delicious. Well cooked and accompanied with a very fresh salad. I was given bread and butter, however the paprika and basil butter was quite tasteless and therefore I asked for plain butter for the bread which I had to pay extra for, I found this very disappointing. Coffee was bitter and served warm instead of hot. Waiter was a bit too attentive constantly touching and moving the plates on my table which I had to politely ask them to stop. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I look forward to trying other items on the menu.
