Stopped by Fornet de La Soca to pick up some sweets and ensaimadas to bring back to Germany - and what a fantastic choice it was. The place has a special charm, with a beautifully traditional atmosphere that feels truly authentic. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious, clearly made with care and quality ingredients. The staff were warm, friendly, and more than happy to help with recommendations and packaging for travel. A wonderful experience overall - highly recommended if you’re looking to take home a real sweet taste of Mallorca!

omg the friendliest stuff😭😭 we bought our ensaïmadas to take to our own country and they let us collect for later. Pumpkin filled ensaïmada was 14,5€. The delicious pastry (see the pic 3) was filled with delicious lemons 10/10 i can absolutely recommend

Wonderful traditional bakery in the centre of Palma. A must visit for any foodie. Some of the savoury choices were amazing. I'm an (English) pork pie lover and was interested to try the traditional Mallorcan pork and pea pie. Nothing at all like English pork pies, but utterly delicious 😋. Great for a quick lunch. My son and I went two days running just to eat the pork pie 🥧. Yum.

Beautiful pastry shop with a wonderful atmosphere. Everything looks incredible the moment you walk in, with a huge variety of traditional and freshly made pastries. The quality is outstanding, we tried several items, and each one was delicious. The service was friendly, and the whole place has a cozy, authentic vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Palma!

This is a very authentic and iconic bakery in Palma. The food isn’t extraordinary but the place is full of character and charm. Prices are reasonable.

Fantastic food, we bought a selection of savoury and sweet treats, all were amazing, however the pork and peas pie stole the show. The best pie I have ever had. The cafe next door allows you to eat pastries from this shop if you buy their coffee, which average, but still very convenient.

We tried this cute, Spanish café today and can only recommend it. The inside is absolutely beautiful, with old wood furniture and elegant decoration, it creates a cozy atmosphere. There was a polite waiter who was really friendly and brought us our order fast. To the food I can only say: try it! The cake is delicious, rich in flavour, the ice cream soo creamy and the Horchata was extremely good. If you wanna have an authentic café experience you should definitely check this café out :)

We discovered this café while searching for a place to have coffee on Google Maps. After reading the many positive reviews, we decided to visit and it was absolutely worth it. The staff was very friendly and the food we tried was delicious. It may not be an extraordinary place, but the interior design and unique character give it a very special charm. It feels like stepping into a café from the 1940s or 1950s. We especially loved the decorative tiles and the bright and airy atmosphere inside. If you are nearby, it is definitely worth visiting for a drink or a meal. You will leave happy.

So actually there's a few of these dotted around Palma, but I think this one was the original ? The decor was certainly "authentic" and rustic. I purchased an ensemaida and a hot chocolate with whipped cream. Absolutely delightful and a huge amount of calories 😂 but with it. Hot chocolate was half cream and definitely very rich and indulgent. The ensemaida was really light with a crispy crust to it.

This place is amazing! Founded in 1700, it's a 325-year-old classic. The vibe and interior decor get a full score from me. ​The coffee is seriously good, and you absolutely have to try their specialty Quarto and Ensaimada—they are delicious! ​Just a heads-up: it gets super crowded, so while you can usually grab a seat, waiting for your order might take a while. But trust me, the history and the taste make it totally worth the wait!

We discovered Ca’n Joan de s’Aigo with my friends, and we just loved it! It’s a real local gem with a cozy, traditional atmosphere. The ensaimadas were so fresh and delicious, and the almond ice cream was amazing. It felt authentic and full of charm, definitely a place you shouldn’t miss when in Palma!

Found this place randomly while searching for “ensaïmadas” on Google Maps and I was extremely surprised. They had several different pastries and I don’t regret trying any of them. Everything is so tasty, the place is cozy, the staff is nice, and the prices are affordable. What a hidden gem!

All in all, incredibly tasty! The saleswoman was very friendly and the location is central. Sitting and enjoying your food on site isn’t quite as charming as on the nearby square. Prices are high, but there’s a good selection and everything tastes delicious!

This place is absolutely stunning both inside and outside HOWEVER, the coffee disaster tasted like one from a vending machine. We ordered ice coffee and we were given hot cappuccino and a glass of ice. The lady at the counter was not helpful AT ALL, quite mean and we were almost the only ones there (it would be fine if she didn’t understand and tried but she literally didn’t care) she just placed it on a plastic tray not asking me if I was okay with this kind of not iced iced coffee. Honestly I’m really disappointed. Maybe the pastries are amazing but we didn’t order any.

Was about to try Ensaimadas for the first time in this famous place , but little did we know ... look at what's inside the orange juice.. We told the staff but she was extremely rude to us, saying that it’s completely normal to have larvae in the summer and start to demand us to talk in Spanish when she actually talked in English without any problems before. We were genuinely worried because we just realized after drinking more than half of it. If it's only 1 or 2 maybe it's okay.. but there was at least 20 of it in that glass.

A historic spot with a wide variety of sweets and pastries. It’s particularly famous for its ensaimadas, and I can confirm they are delicious. Given the popularity of the place, the ensaimadas are always freshly made. The savory pastries were also quite good. Definitely a place I highly recommend visiting.

Good for something sweet and a coffee. I don't recommend the enshalada con carne, it's hardly edible and they don't bother warming it up.

Large empanadas for less than 3 EUR that will easily fill you. If you are looking for a quick filling snack strongly recommended.

Searched for a bakery to buy a snack on our walk through the city of Palma, and found this gem (among some others in close vicinity). Too bad, if you would be close to my hotel where we were staying I would definitely be a daily customer. Almond croissant was just one of the best, really good. Everything in the bakery, including bread etc. looked delicious, would definitely tried it. Also very friendly lady working in the shop. It is possible to pay with card.

I was looking for a place where to buy a buckwheat bread and somebody recommended this bakery. Came early morning and they had plenty of different types of bread, all smelling delicious. The buckwheat bread is very tasty, happy to find a place where it’s made. They also sell coffee, expensive but very good.

Amazing sourdough loaf! Almond croissant was crisp and delicate with a soft floral filling, apple strudel was generously filled with a powerful apple flavor, and an impeccable pan au chocolat. Old world style pretzel blew me away... a lovely kind, patient staff with good english, even! Really made my day. And I must reiterate, that sourdough boule had the perfect balance of textures you only get through time and attention. Don't miss this one!

Fantastic Bread, Owners and Staff!! Often i take Sourdough Olive loaf and a roast chicken from Mister Poulet at market, add salad a squeeze of lemon and voila you have a fantastic Santa Catalina Sandwich

Best bakery in Mallorca for me. Bread is amazing, pan au chocolat flaky on the outside, filled with dark chocolate and buttery inside. Fougasse is a favourite too. Also have books in multiple languages available! Doesnt get better than this!!

Don’t recommend coming here.. The staff doesn’t understand anything in English and looks at you with disgust if you try to communicate through it. I ordered espresso and a ensaimada, the espresso was incredibly bland, no crema and tasted underextracted, the bottom of the ensaimada was drenched in oil and tasted like just oil.. also didn’t get anything to eat it with, nor any paper to wipe my hands.

We loved it here. We were passing by and decided to take a little break. We had no idea this was such an iconic shop with a long history. So many people were buying large ensaimadas to go. We had one and it was delicious. The coffee too was good.

Beautiful little bakeshop in the middle of Palma. Nice place for having a little rest and enjoy a cup of coffee and some bakery products. Ordered a Ensaima Dulche de Leche which was beautiful taste, but a little to sweet for my taste. Very reasonable prices here. Recommended!

There’s a wide range of pastries here: traditional ensaimadas, sandwiches, quiches, doughnuts, as well as empanadas. Everything was fresh and every bite of the ensaimadas are soft, fluffy bits of heaven. Coffee is also good here. Prices are very reasonable. There’s space to sit, though it gets busy and packed at certain times.

As an English tourist, this little village bakery was incredible! However the staff didn't speak English which made communication a bit tricky. For example i didn't get what I asked for the first time but ended up eating it and then going back the next day and getting that item as it was really good 😂

Best traditional Mallorquín bakery.

I'll start from the end - my experience at this restaurant was very, very disappointing. My husband and I came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and chose this restaurant because it looked stunning to us and I read good comments about this restaurant. In fact, we had an experience that really doesn't fit a Michelin restaurant (from experience) - the meal took 4 and a half (!!!) hours, meaning we left at 12:30 at night, even a little later. Each dish was served a really long time after the previous dish and the service was, in my opinion, quite slow. Another and most important thing - we warned in advance that we were lactose sensitive and the last dessert had lactose (!!!). The manager ran to us and apologized and asked if we were taking any lactose pills and said we didn't have any... Of course they thought about what to do and it took them a while until the bill arrived and finally we saw that they hadn't charged us for the 2 desserts in the meal. I personally think that for such a mistake by a restaurant of such a high standard, they shouldn't charge me for the entire meal. But again, that's just my opinion. In addition, they told us they would call us the next day to see if we were feeling well and to ask how we were doing - and of course they didn't call. It's disappointing that a restaurant of this level doesn't pay attention to such important points and even disrespects customers. I won't go back there.

The setting and place just breathtaking. They take you to another world as soon as you enter. The place is full of good energy and very tasteful decoration. We had some Ruinart as well as Marc Fosh’s 5 courses menu. I would say that for my part every single salty hors d’œuvre/tasting was amazing and out of this world. However, for the sweet ones, I was a bit disappointed and did not enjoy a lot this part. Fortunately my birthday cake was sincerely delicious and helped save the day! Very special mention for: the lobster, the foie gras (which was INCREDIBLE) and the pigeon which were definitely 5⭐️

Great tasting menu with wine paring. Every dish was exceptionable and paired with a great selection of Spanish / Majorcan wines Friendly , knowledgeable staff. Marc Fosh himself takes time to greet each table as they arrive, which was a nice touch. Edited the review from 5 star to 4 star overall and for service, looked at our bill today and realised that we were charged for a glass of red wine that never arrived, at time we just assumed they forgot as it was ordered at start of meal to come with a certain dish, it wasn’t until today we realised they still charged for it. These things happen and wouldn’t put us off returning.

This was our 2nd visit, 1st visit in the evening. What can I say, absolutely 💯! We had a fabulous evening served by Mike & Marta. So welcoming & the dining experience was amazing.

The personal was wonderfully welcoming, Mike and the rest made me feel like a queen. I had the Marc degustation menu and is was a delight from start to finish. I loved how he blended the local delicacies with a futuristic presentation, every plate was like a piece of art, and every bite a surprise.

Service and ambience: It gets very busy so make sure to book ahead. The service was great waitstaff were quite helpful with order recommendations. Food: Quality of the food was great: - Calamari was tender on the inside but not as crispy as I would’ve liked it to be. - Beef croquettes were crispy but lacked in flavor a bit - Octopus was amazing well chard some of the best I’ve ever had. - stake tartar was good and well balanced. - Oxtail with broken eggs was bit heavy but over all pleasant.

From tapas to different varieties of vermouth, you can enjoy many authentic tastes here. The food and drinks are carefully selected and truly delicious. ⚠️ A small note: Making a reservation is highly recommended. Without one, you might face long waiting times or even struggle to find a table, especially during peak hours. 👍 With a reservation, the experience becomes much smoother and more enjoyable. For those who prefer to go spontaneously, it’s still worth a try, but be prepared to wait.

We ended up at La Rosa on the recommendation of a local working in a nearby shop — and I’m so glad we did. This turned out to be the best dining experience of my entire trip. Every tapa we tried was beautifully executed — each one a perfect, delicious bite. I’ll be dreaming of the garlic red prawn croquettes and the grilled Iberian pork with truffled parmentier — both absolutely unforgettable. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, and we were able to walk in and get a table for six upstairs. You truly get what you pay for here. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll absolutely return.

La Rosa was fantastic, the waiter was amazing, so friendly and allowed us to order different dishes at different times. The food was delicious, the steak was so tender it just melted in the mouth. If I'm ever back in Palma I'd definitely visit again. It was extremely busy, best to book in advance.

Avoid this place! The food is OK but not better than the local tapas restaurant on the corner. It is better presented on the plate than most restaurants, but the taste gives no sensations at all. The service is very bad, even though the waiters have a nice, polite attitude. Waiters take a very long time and forget what we asked for several times. I'm surprised at how unprofessional the service is. Perhaps it's more of a management problem, looking at the resource side—but then it will be permanently bad. We had a wine called Mula Mucho at a low price. Even though it has a photo of a dog on the bottle, it was surprisingly great. (Note: usually I never buy wines with "over-commercial" labels/stickers.) The restaurant seems to have taken over the restaurant next to Vermuteria called Colmado, and this is where we had our table. They call it a "classic table," but with no backrest, it will hurt your back a lot. Apparently, they want to shove in as many people as possible, and chairs with backrests take up too much space. Looking at the total, based on the bad service and the medioker level of the food, we will never ever come here again. Our expectations where a lot higher.

Great for dinners and savoring vermouth (homemade btw). In the evening times a smaller group will not wait long to be invited compared to a larger group. Ideally a reservation will make it work faster. The food was tasty and service was great (kudos to our waitress Sonya:) ) highly recommended when you visit Palma!

Had an amazing lunch at La Rosa Tapas in Palma! 🇪🇸 Authentic Spanish flavors with super fresh ingredients. Loved the Padrón peppers and garlic prawns — simple but so delicious! Great atmosphere too, definitely a must-try spot in Palma.

The restaurant is incredibly popular - fully booked even on a weekday. I managed to get a seat without a reservation after waiting about 45 minutes, and it was absolutely worth both the time and the money. The food was outstanding, truly one of the best meals of my life. Sitting at the bar gave me a front-row view of the kitchen, and I was amazed. The chefs moved like a perfectly choreographed team - focused, efficient, yet warm and approachable. Despite the pace, they still found moments to smile, joke, and chat, which made the experience even more special. This place delivers on every level: food, atmosphere, and service. Beyond that, it’s clear the people working here genuinely enjoy what they do, and that energy shines through. Thank you for such a memorable dinner, and congratulations on the wonderful work!

Most certainly make reservations for El Camino! This spot fills up quickly and for good reason - we loved everything we tried and even re-ordered a couple of them. The hospitality is first class and we loved the experience of sitting at the bar watching the talented chefs work their magic. This is a gem in Palma! Thank you for a great visit!

The food is amazing and the ambiance is nice! The service is quick. We were 4 people and tried our best to try as much food as we can :) only the paella was a dissapointment becuase the rice was so hard to chew other than that we were so happy and pleased what we ordered. Cheesecake is a MUST! Do not miss the chance to taste it! Highly reccommend restaurant !

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! Such a fantastic experience. The staff were amazing, the vibe was great and the food/wine was delicious! We thought sitting at a bar would be uncomfortable and cramped but it was the opposite. It was really spacious! We ordered everything we wanted in one go and it came out dish by dish as if it was a tasting menu. We will definitely go again when visiting Palma.

Hands down one of the top 5 meals I ever had, everything was just impeccable! Highly recommend booking at least a week in advance, but the planning will be definitely worthy! Choosing the bar seating was the best option, as you can watch the chefs prepping the dishes and get a feel for the action. Everything was out-of-this world tasty and I can’t recommend it enough! Definitely get the zucchinni flower filled with ricotta, the croquettas & the pork, although I could have ordered the whole menu as it looked spectacular!

Had a great time here. Lovely atmosphere and vibe and excellent service. You only get an hour and 45 minutes or so, and we would have like to stay longer as we had a lovely time. Food was excellent and great wine choice reasonably priced. Will return next time we are here.

We had a chicken salad, it was okay the chicken tasted a bit tired which has been unsatisfying to be honest. I ordered a drink without sugar, I got a water con azucar, this annoyed me the most! The atmosphere is nice, but also a bit annoying with the bus stop in front. The service is also a bit slow for my taste :D you also could see it in the eyes of other guests around 😅 I would not come back

Came here a few times during my trip in July and then came back again in August. Consistently good food, drink and service. Staff always friendly and hard working.

This is a classic bar renowned for its lively atmosphere and central location. It’s a popular spot for both locals and visitors. Their menu features Mallorcan staples like llonguet sandwiches and varieties of tapas. The food quality is decent and the terrace setting is ideal for people-watching. Just a side note, smoking is prohibitted in their terrace. The service is usually low or inconsistent, depending on how busy the period is. I suggest their “tostada con aguacate y salmon” and “rabo de toro con patatas y huevo frito”. Overall, it’s a convenient place to enjoy Palma’s ambiance, though expectations for service should be modest. Prices are okay.

Great, always looks like a horrible tourist trap but it really isn't, good, realistically priced tapas and snacks, great service lovely inside as well, generally a great place to spend an afternoon. It's right in the very heart of busiest part of the busiest Street in Palma so don't expect a quiet time, but great fun.

A lovely restaurant with a charming street ambience, perfect for outdoor seating. The famous toasts were wonderfully crispy, but having only one person attending to 30-40 tables didn’t seem fair. Service was incredibly slow, and one of the items we ordered never arrived. When we mentioned this while paying, we were simply told that it may have run out. They have a offer which is 12 oysters and a MUET for 99 euros. While most items on the menu were reasonably priced but the oysters and MUET were shockingly expensive.

Very nice and clean Italian restaurant. We had some very tasty pasta (I recommend the lemon and pistachio souce). Very fast and pleasant service. The focaccia was also great 👌👌👌

We ate here 4 times while we were on our 1 week vacation. The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly, treated us like family! They have the best pizza and pasta with reasonable prices. They are not located in the busy tourist area so it was easy to get a table without a reservation. We highly recommend this restaurant if you're in Palma de Mallorca

We had a lovely dinner at this Italian restaurant in Palma. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was good, but the pasta was a little bit too much. Also good dessert options.

You get the food fast and it tastes great😁 it is clean place and nice people working here. the light at the toilet turns off after some seconds and it's not that fun while you sit on the toilet... wish the chocolate would have tasted better but else than that it is a nice restaurant.

While my stay in Palma de Mallorca I saw this restaurant which is located next to the mainstreet in Palma Center. I love italian food, see I decided to test La Tagliatella - and it was EXCELLENT! The waiter was very nice and the food was also delicious! I can recommend this restaurant to everyone!!!

This is our second time in Valdemossa and De Tokio A Lima is a must for anyone in the area! Located in the beautiful Hotel Valdemossa the restaurant is tucked away on a short 5 min walk from town with beautiful views and atmosphere! It is truly a hidden gem! We ordered the shrimp fritters, grilled scallops and the beef sirloin tataki - all were outstanding!! Alex was our server and he was attentive and great. The bartender made some of the best espresso martinis and gin sours we’ve ever had! Overall 10/10 experience and food and views were incredible. We will be back!!

Lunch for 3, we shared 4 mains and 2 desserts, food was fantastic, and great service highly recommend for an "occasion" or if you want something high end fusion ( sorry for part of thumb in photo:) )

We had a wonderful evening at de Tokio a Lima. A special thanks goes to our waiter Alex, who was extremely attentive and dedicated. At first, there were no outdoor tables available and we felt a bit disappointed, but he immediately took care of it and let us know as soon as one opened up. His effort really made a difference. The food was excellent – fresh, creative, and full of flavor – and the view was simply stunning. Overall, highly recommended!

As long-term residents, we have visited De Tokio a Lima regularly over the years and recently decided to take our house guests there for lunch. Sadly, this experience was far below what the restaurant’s reputation — and prices — would suggest. From the outset, one of the female staff members (manager/hostess/concierge) was notably unfriendly and never cracked a smile. Another member of staff was overbearing, commenting unnecessarily on our bags and the need for one of us to take a business call. The real problems came with the food and service. Although we were only a party of five and ordered a starter, two shared salads, and main courses to be served together, the first dishes did not appear for over an hour. Service then dragged on for another 90 minutes. Even more frustrating, other tables who arrived later than us were served the same dishes well before ours. Clearly, there were issues in the kitchen that day — but they landed squarely on our plate and not on that of the serving staff. Unfortunately, rather than offering a proper apology or reassurance, the situation was left to fester. To make matters worse, one guest was given the wrong dish. She assumed it was battered scallops, but it turned out to be shrimp — something she does not eat. The waiter remarked, “Well at least now you know what shrimp tastes like!” What he may have thought was wit or flamboyance was in fact dull, dismissive, and rude. Despite assuring us we would not be charged for the mistake, the dish was still added to the bill. When I pointed this out, he waved his hand dismissively and finally removed it. Another dish failed to arrive altogether, and when it eventually did, it was again the wrong one. One of our guests ended up with no proper meal at all. This was not simply a matter of delays or mistakes — it was the attitude. No one offered a sincere apology, and we were made to feel like an inconvenience throughout. The contrast between the reputation of the restaurant and the reality of our experience was striking. In Japan, customer service is defined by attentiveness, humility, and respect — this was the complete antithesis. The only positive note was the friendliness of the staff on the door. Inside, however, the service was disorganised, ungracious, and far below the standard one would expect from a restaurant of this standing.

Cute little place located in an alley in Ciutadella. The hosts Alex and Elena are so nice and we had great fun taking the cooking class. Every step was well explained and it was just so fun to cook with other people! They will also send the recipe to you!

What a great local experience! We reserved for the seafood paella and cooked with 5 other couples. It included your first drink. The instructors/owners were so kind and pleasant and made the entire cooking experience and process enjoyable. The paella we made was actually one of the best we’ve had in Menorca! Although I visited Cuk Cuk in May 2021, I’m writing my review now! I forgot back then and now, I was thinking to cook an special recipe for my favourite people and I remembered the receipt for black paella!! If you are interested in doing a special activity in Minorca which combines food with learning then this is the place to be! Elena and Alejandro open their traditional house to all of us and except of preparing these amazing food, they also share the secrets of their recipes and they cook with you. Cuk-Cuk is the best cooking experience that you can have and you can imagine to have in Ciutadella! I found it as best experience on Trip Advisor and glad to have booked this amazing experience. Me and my girlfriend spent a beautiful night with other 5 couples and we cooked “Caldereta de Pescado y Marisco” which is was a fisherman’s dish and the most typical fisherman’s stew of Galicia. Elena and Alejandro explained all the steps in a incredibly simple way, both English and Spanish languages. You need just to follow their steps and tips. At the end, we will enjoy you cooked dish outside in a green, relaxing and romantic location. Absolutely, if one day I am in Menorca, of course I will book again with them to cook Paella dish. Ps. If you book for first, you can decide the plate that everyone else has to cook, so don’t miss this great opportunity!

There are few experiences when traveling that one can say are mandatory, but this is definitly one of them. My best experience in Menorca. Elena and Alejandro were amazing hosts, explained everystep of the way and in the end we had such a marvelous meal and also made friends. (cooking with other people does that). We did the Arroz Negro, and when we return to the island we will definitly book again, for a different dish. In the end we got to have a drink with everyon and its was just amazing. If you are ever in Menorca, do not forget to put this in your to do list.

So close to perfect but the imperfect was shocking. Parking in the charming village of Santa Gertrudis can feel like a mini treasure hunt. So, by the time you arrive at Macao Cafe, there’s already a sense of accomplishment—and hunger! The restaurant welcomes you with a large, tree-covered terrace, enveloped by a halo of bamboo. Inside, it’s an upcycled haven of Italian flair; spacious but unmistakably noisy. The atmosphere is charged with enthusiasm; this is clearly a gathering spot for foodies and friends, and in an ideal world, all patrons would be both. And oh, the food! The Italian cuisine here is nothing short of exceptional. From antipasti to hearty pastas, the culinary adventure at Macao Cafe is well worth the journey. The drink menu complements the dining experience nicely. An excellent wine list, simple yet delectable cocktails mixers (G&T etc), and a decent selection of beers make it a place where you’d happily raise a toast. Clientele leans towards monied groups of multinational friends and family, making it a melting pot of cultures with one common love—great food. Now, let’s address the elephant in the room: the service. As much as I aim to be positive, it’s hard to ignore the unfortunate interactions we had. The staff, apart from Eliza, was disappointingly inadequate, bordering on rude and arrogant. Service errors were glaring, and the attitude was inexcusable, even accounting for end-of-season fatigue. But let’s give credit where it’s due: Eliza was the saving grace, preventing us from abandoning ship before the mains arrived - and we seriously considered it; embarrassed for our guests. As for value, be prepared to shell out a bit more; Macao Cafe is on the expensive side. Yet the stellar food and charming ambiance could justify the expense if the service were up to par. Macao Cafe offers a mixed bag. The setting is idyllic, and the food is marvelous, but the (less than - off the cliff) lackluster service leaves an indelible stain on what could otherwise be a perfect outing. So if you’re considering a visit, weigh the pros and cons carefully—because this is one restaurant that leaves you with much to ponder.

2 surprisingly small take away pizzas and a TINY appetizer made of literally 4 little croquets that were nothing special: €63. Sixty-three euros. Shame on you.

We had a beautiful evening at Macao. Staff was super friendly, the food was delish and the atmosphere is so cozy, especially in the night. The whole area is so cute and has these traditional spanish little houses. The Paccheri was fantastic and the filled zucchini flowers were also tasty. The deserts were are a highlight. Will come again!

It's a nice ambiance but the food is so so. The pizzas looked nice but we had a simple pasta that was undercooked, not even al dente yet. The sauce was also a little sour. Maybe just bad luck but would not visit again.

Fabulous restaurant in this lovely inland town. One of the best meals we had whilst in Ibiza. I opted for the beetroot salad to start with which was delicious, I then had a fish main followed by tiramisu. Fabulous food and a sublime setting, would highly recommend this restaurant.

Definitely one of the most delicious pastrami sandwiches and their soft sandwiches are my favorite! They make everything themselves, and it's truly exquisite. The new location is very pleasant, and everyone is really kind. They also have their own bread and croissant production, but it's at a nearby separate location, so pay attention when looking for the bakery or eatery.

Staff so helpful and patient. Food so great. If you like ham, you have to try the pastrami!! Awesome renovation. I enjoyed sitting beside the massive windows.

The attention was very helpful, but I had to wait 30 for 2 pieces of bread, an egg with 3 kilos of pepper and half an avocado that looked more like a stone than an avocado, a pity that the food and the waiting time is not at the level of the service.

I live nearby and started to come few days ago. Ordered 2 times for takeout and ate 2 time there with a friend or alone. No WiFi, kinda disappointing especially when the place is completely empty in the afternoon, I understand why… The food is always good, pastries are high quality so I’m not mad about the price.

Everything was really delicious, but the portion sizes were really small. We ended up having to order a third dish between the two of us, which made it all in all very expensive. Other than that, it’s a cool, funky venue.

Well the local is stunning! Awesome vibe inside, the decor and interior is just wow! We were a group of 6, the artisanal beer is great, super special flavor and also brings a sense of a more developed character for brass club, the cocktails are all stunning. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and take the time to speak with you. The music is also very good, I really have nothing bad to say about this place, everything was worth coming back for!

Ristorante El Paradiso in Paguera is absolutely fantastic. It has a beautiful view, delicious and perfectly cooked food, and a team of friendly, hardworking staff. The quality is outstanding without a doubt the best food in the area. It is nothing like the cheap, mass-produced holiday food. The service was accurate and attentive, and everything felt fresh and well-prepared. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great meal with a stunning view.

We went to this restaurant where the soup was truly inedible (full of stock cube) and extremely salty. So I told the waitress that unfortunately I couldn’t eat it, and then when the bill came, they still made me pay for it, scolding me and saying that if I didn’t pay, they would call the police. I’ve never seen such rude and disrespectful behavior in my life. The blond guy and a blond woman treated us terribly and even told us to get lost. Don’t go there – it’ll ruin your day and your appetite.

My husband was born and grew up in Germany, and I lived in Germany for almost two years. You can't say that we know nothing about die Deutsche Küche. The location was good, you have a view of sea on the terrace. But the food...was way toooooo heavy. The portion was not much, but the sauce was🫠..... Sauerkraut was tooooo sweet. The Gulasch was not homemade, not fresh. We think they use a lot of pre-made products. What they need to do is just heating them. Was very disappointed.

I found this Cafe to be quite busy during an early evening visit on market night in es Mercadal .There's 5 tables located outside on the pavement( the floor area was quite messy ) with further seating available inside .Wile taking alook at the pastries inside I noticed a small sign saying its table service ! .I did take a photo of the small choice of pastry delights & returned back to my outside table.After waiting & waiting I got up and went back inside to find the 2girls on duty busy serving customers collecting boxed take away ensaimada pastries. Finally I did receive pleasant table service when ordering 2 White Coffees (coffee with milk )& then showing the photo of my chosen pastry. Order wasn't too long in arriving. I found the apple type of pastry to be very nice but the coffee was too milky & wasn't very hot either which was disappointing .Cash or card payments are accepted. .

Very disappointed about this pastry shop. I went there around 11h30 am to try the famous ensaimada. This shop is known as the best in Menorca. At that time, the ensaimada’s vitrine was already empty. I asked if they still had some to sell, the lady at the counter told me they still had ensaimada with chocolate, which I asked for takeaway. The lady went to the kitchen and came back with a closed box. I paid almost 9€ for this, I thought she went to kitchen to grab a fresh ensaimada and put it on a box for me. But when a I opened the box hours later, I found out it was a pre made and pre packed ensaimada, closed in a vacuum plastic bag…. This was a tourist trap. She sold me a different type o ensaimada than the fresh ones they used ally have at the vitrine. The ensaimada I got was not fresh, and really not tasty at all. It was worst a chipicau. Really bad experience. I don’t understand how comes the “best pastry shop” it’s already sold out at 11h30 am!!!!!! And it gives you an esaimada made way before and packed in vacuum…….

By far my favorite place to have Ensaimada breakfast in Mercadal. The place is the traditional one and is always very busy. In summertime you can expect to queue in the morning. My ever favorite is the chocolate ensaimada. Perfectly cooked leaving a crunchy bottom to die for. The smell inside of the bakers burning and crème patissiere is also delicious. Staff is good, María José is very warm, knowledgeable and friendly! Coffee also good.

Chinese craving Chinese food. Simply amazing. I usually go abroad and need some oriental food and will usually be disappointed. Not in this place! One of the best Chinese dinners I have had in my life. Fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented. Xiao mai dim sum is freshly made, Iberian pork rice and even the sesame cheese cake have sent my taste buds to a different dimension.I have never tasted anything like this before. The best! Definitely planning to come back before I leave Ibiza. Thank you Grand China for a superb tasty experience!!

First time in Ibiza, jump into this restaurant by accident. I didn’t expect any Asian cuisine in such an european island before, guess surprises always hit you unexpectedly. I highly recommend crispy prawns, and if you really don’t know what to order, tuna sushi will never be wrong.

This café is located in Santa Catalina neighborhood. It has an authentic touch. You can sit on the sidewalk and enjoy watching the neighborhood life goes by. The service was slow, but the staff were nice. only one of them spoke some English. the prices were so inexpensive compared to those in the touristic areas.

It used to be a nice place back in the day. Now the quality is low, the atmosphere noisy, loud and vulgar and the management is, sadly, very rude. A no go place.

Very nice French café with delicious homemade pastery, baguettes or fancy desserts. Right next to the Mercat de Santa Catalina. Better to come walking or on the scooter as in this zone is not easy to find parking.

We went here for breakfast on our first morning. Pastries, sandwiches and coffee (they have soy milk!!) are great at this place. It's nice to sit outside and people watch. The only thing that bothered me: When I wanted to take a photo for my travel blog, a woman (maybe owner) told me quite rudely not to take photos inside. It's a shame and doesn't make any sense. The other waiters and people behind the counter, though, were really really friendly.

My girlfriend and I eat in some bar in Market across the road. There we drink and eat a lot and we payed 14e for everything. We went out and we decide to drink something cold and fresh. First we wait for waitress 10min and we order 2x fresh orange juice and we payed 10e for that. Robbery.

I have been a fan of this place for years and have many memories here. However, our recent visit was so disappointing. While the setting and ambiance remain as lovely as ever, the food experience did not live up to our expectations or the price point. (8 shrimps, 1 tomato, 2 leafs for 30eur) I'm leaving this feedback in the hope that it's taken constructively. I would truly love to return, as the location is wonderful, but I believe a re-evaluation of the menu and its value proposition is needed to make the food as special as the atmosphere.

Ensalada Ibicencan Nido calamar (squid nest) Rotja (scorpion fish) Dorada (gilthead Bream) Fideuà and paella Flaó (Cheesecake with mint) Greixonera. a typical cinnamon flavoured bread pudding, made from ensaïmadas (which contains lard) A great spot to unwind with fabulous sunset views from high up on the cliffs.

Drive into Santa Agnés to the T junction and turn left at the sign for Cafeteria Can Jordi. Follow the road for 1.5 km until you come across a wooden restaurant set in a pine forest with fantastic clifftops views and sunsets. Particularly good basic Ibicencan fish dishes Paella Fideuà (a pasta paella) Open until 10.30 pm from 1st July until the end of September. Rest of the year lunch only (kitchen closes at 5 pm).

Great place, best view and nice setting. Only had drinks here while touring the island so I can not comment on the food. The staff was super friendly and gave our little boy a small chupa chup lolly when leaving; what a nice and attentive move. Visited again last Monday but they were closed (it was a bank holiday in Ibiza so it might be that, or simply closed on Mondays).

The pizza is absolutely phenomenal. It is truly amazing from all the options they have, to the fantastic dough. The pizza is beautiful cooked, crispy and flavorful. As well as the spicy oil they have is delicious. The pasta is also very tasty and great. From Tuesday to Friday they have a menu special for lunch, where you get an appetizer, a main course, dessert, water and bread all for €14.50. The food always comes out quick. Amazing overall.

Came here after checking in late to the hotel. Can’t fault the service. The food however wasn’t the best. The spaghetti bolognaise tasted like it was from the tin. Whether or not it’s fresh homemade pasta or bolognaise is questionable. The pizza was okay nothing outstanding. There was no hearty Italian music or any for that matter and all we could hear was each other eating.

Really good place. The pizzas are thin and tasty with plenty to choose from. We had the pannacota for dessert and we loved it. The service was nothing to complain about either, with friendly waiters and the food came out pretty fast. Overall I definitely recommend this place.

We visited Arte Pizza for three evening meals during our trip to Palma. The food is outstanding, the staff very friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant has a nice cosy atmosphere. We sat at an outside table one evening, which allowed for a much needed breeze in the summer heat. We hope to return!

We went to Herbera Bakery for breakfast to try some baked goods and coffee. The place was quiet and has some decent amount of seats for a coffee shop. Me and my partner ordered the ensaymada (Chocolate and Crema flavoured ones) both were surprisingly tasty! Not too sweet which has a perfect balance. We also got the Iced Matcha latte which is fresh and good too. Prices were decent and reasonable for the food quality. The lady was really nice and welcoming when we are ordering and also we had to get some cookies to take home which is amazing! Overall, a lovely bakery to try when visiting Cituidella, Menorca. 😊

This is a tourist scam. Be aware. I asked for 2 coca breads and some butter to spread. At any point i asked to toast the bread. I asked 2 cups of milk and cofee. They charged me 12 euros for this. They did not give any receipt. When i asked for it they gave me a receipt that said 2 toasted bread with marmelade.. And it did n ot had any marmelade. Total disgrace, and i intended to call the cops but my wife asked me not to do it. But i will never go there anymore. Its not serious people.

We visited twice, mostly coming for the coffee as the place was close to our flat. The brioche was lovely and cappuccinos always on point. The Ensaimadas were quite crunchy and not as puffy as I enjoyed and we have certainly tasted nicer variants in other places. Works in a pinch though. Decent selection of ensaimada flavours if you want a larger size pie too!

Really nice pastries and cakes here and coffee too. Seating inside and outside. You can pay by card too which is very handy. Nice bright and spacious inside. A place to come if you want a nice snack. Toilets are nice and clean too!

The food was very good, the Hazelnut croissants, the flans and the coffee are definitely my favorite. The tall guy serving customer hasn’t been friendly at all, he didn’t even acknowledge us when we came in ( even if we said hello when we came in). The service wasn’t good at all and we had to get our order ourselves from the counter after we sat down. We have visited the place on a very quiet morning so no excuse at all. Lluis Perez is making so much efforts to offer the best pastries to his customers and the whole experience has been ruined because of the 2 team members present on that day. What a shame !

NOT tourist friendly. Very rude service. Better & kinder cafes nearby. Added: Waitress failed to mention no outside drinks until after we were seated. She in fact came over and rudely told us to leave while we were already looking at the menu we were provided with. Then when we were more than happy to throw out our already consumed drinks she said okay we could stay. We told her we were ready to order new coffees and food from their cafe and that’s when we were kicked out. We were confused as to why she suddenly changed her mind. This was no misunderstanding. She was rude and hostile despite us being more than understanding.

Nice address for desserts in Palma, we definitely recommend trying the chocolate and raspberry cake! We took some madeleines but we did not like them, they got somehow the taste from the plastic bag, not good.

Nuria gave one of the best services I’ve received in Mallorca. We bought pastries to take home on the plane journey and she packaged it so nicely and was very patient with communicating using different languages. She deserves a raise!!!

Tried the ensaimada at Palma airport and it tastes like nothing. I bought a few packed ones and they refused to accept the return. Avoid at all costs, better go to terminal D and buy from Santo Cristo good quality products

The best French bakery in Palma! Don’t get fooled by this shops small size- their pastries are absolutely delicious! After repeated visits, I have tried the almond croissant, two different flavors of rolls, and a loaf of olive bread. Everything I’ve tasted has been fantastic. The service is friendly, funny, and English speaking, and I couldn’t have felt more welcomed. This bakery is definitely worth a try, I promise you won’t regret it.

OMG! I recently discovered this lovely French bakery with a 4.9 rating on google, and I have to say it absolutely deserves it. Every pastry was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were out of this world. The almond croissant, in particular, was extraordinary—truly mind-blowing! I’ll definitely be coming back. Plus, the staff were exceptionally friendly, making the whole experience even better. I also tried in another day the Lobster roll and it was also very well made and very tasty! We visited and bought matcha and three rolls - strawberry and white chocolate, pistachio, and chocolate and orange. The owner was super sweet and informative. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others visiting Palma. We booked it for the fantastic location, beautiful property, and generously spacious rooms—and it truly lived up to our expectations. The staff made our experience even more memorable. Everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They also gave us great local recommendations for dining and things to do. A special thank you to Giulia, who was especially kind and helpful during our departure—she even helped us book a taxi, which we really appreciated. One helpful note for future guests: if you're arriving by car or renting a car, be aware that parking is not directly onsite (which is common in central Palma). The closest parking lot is about a 10-minute walk away. We were able to drop off our luggage first and the staff kindly assisted with directions and bags, but understanding this in advance would have helped us plan better. Overall, it was a lovely stay in a charming city, and we’d happily return!

Very few complaints…really nice, quiet spot out of the mayhem of the city. The staff were friendly, the food (including the breakfast) was good and the drinks well made. The finishes were high end and we were very happy with both the shared spaces and our room (the main suite, room 3). Of the complaints…they spray a weird small in the rooms, maybe supposed to smell like an old building / furniture / castle, but it just made us feel a bit ill. And, the carpet is wicker, which sounds fun but actually isn’t very comfortable to walk on barefoot, so make sure you grab the free slippers.

We have recently had the chance to stay in this mesmerizing renovated old mansion, let me say it was pleasantly amazing. The staff the room the lobby was an amazing treat. The only thing you have to consider is the parking as it is a 10 min walking distance and it was a bit expensive. Other than that i would say it was perfect with a great location within the heart of Palma city.

One day we weren’t feeling our best and couldn’t explore the town, but we didn’t mind at all—the hotel was so comfortable and the staff so kind that it felt like the perfect place to simply rest and recharge. Booking a massage is a MUST - one of the best we’ve ever had. We also took advantage of the spa that had a steam room, sauna and jacuzzi and reserved it twice during our stay. One thing to note is that there isn’t parking onsite and it’s about a 7min walk from the hotel and the roads to get to the hotel are very narrow and not for a nervous driver. Not a deal breaker for us but something to note! The entire experience was seamless and elevated, making us feel cared for in the most genuine way. Can Cera is the kind of place you don’t just stay at—you remember. Without a doubt, a five-star experience. We will be back!!

The place is really convenient as it's in the city centre, the old lady is friendly but does not speak english so you need to be a little creative with your spanish skill. The pastries are amazing and have a very fair price. I would say: this is a must-try stop in Maò. Don't leave Menorca without trying some typical pastry from this place.

My experience was similar even though I didn't read the reviews or know about this place. I accidentally found it while walking to my hostel. I went in and asked for a small pastry. The price was so high that I had to politely cancel the order. I didn't know the typical prices, all I knew was that €2.5 for a small pastry is out of my budget. What I found odd was how the owner got very defensive and kept saying "I didn't increase the price for you only. Go and see, everyone else charges the same price" and at one point he said "How much do you want to pay for it" which reminded me of bargaining in Marrakesh. I am socially awkward and just wanted to apologise because I can't afford the high price, but he kept interrupting me. His defensive behaviour was sudden and indicates that he indeed jacks up prices and got nervous when I said it was high. And now that I saw other reviews saying the same, I guess it could be true that he charges tourists higher than locals.

Cute Café and a very nice Lady running this place. I tried the açaí bowl, which was ok… would have appreciated homemade granola! Latte art was beautiful on the Flat white and it tasted good as well. I enjoyed the very crispy and flaky croissant in the afternoon and the lemon tartlet was not too sweet but pastry could have been crispier and the merengue had a funny texture.

The restaurant is located on the beachside, and an amazing view of the sea. It’s a non-smoking restaurant, and we could only smoke outside. The food was delicious and in a very large amount. We dined in, ordered a meal for three, seafood paella, and the Pinza Na Porba, which looked delicious as well. At the end we had cheesecake with strawberry jelly, freshly baked, and Brownies, and Chocolate Cake. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and well organized. I would like to visit them again for sure.

Self service not one Spanish worker. Food terrible expensive. If your a tourist fine I suppose because don't know the difference what a shame I miss Marcial at least we had good service mixed clients.....now it's just about the money

I really like dining at his restaurant! Very delicious Spanish food, own confectionery with a great choice of desserts including one of the best ice cream I've ever tried. This place is always crowded because it's very popular. Another cool thing is the beautiful sea view. Highly recommend this place.

So good and affordable! Got 1 sweet and 1 savory treat, with a cafe con leche for under 10 euro. Great vibes, the glass floor was really good. My only complaint was that the treats weren't heated up. But still tasty!!

The food is very good, the service is fast, and the workers are helpful. I had an almond croissant and it was good. There is a toilet for men and women. You can watch the workers making the pies through the glass floor. The prices are reasonable.

This is a very nice cafe and it is well-situated. They offer a great selection of pastries. There is a small sitting area outside on the street but the inside is just gorgeous.The decoration is top with a glass floor you can actually see them baking. I highly recommend.

This is a gorgeous, well-situated cafe, with delicious coffee and a great selection of pastries. The coca de patata in particular was super fluffy and delicious. You can take some nice pictures here, the decoration is really something.

Lovely bakery with delicious pastries and great coffee. Everything tastes fresh and homemade, with plenty of options to choose from. The atmosphere is cozy, perfect for a relaxed breakfast or a quick stop during the day. Prices are fair for the quality. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby!

They are thieves!!! This is the worst place in the world! The two of us were in this place 7 days ago. We ordered two pastries and coffee and the bill was around 7 euros. My husband gave them (to girl who works there) 50 euros, and she gave him back 23, instrad of 43! He immediately counted and complained, and she said that she didn't have 20 euros at the moment and that she would bring it to him. We sat at the table for about 15 minutes and she didn't come. After that, we came to her to ask for our money, but she pretended that she didn't know what we were talking about. All the workers got together and asked us why were we complaining about it after half an hour, even though we complaned to the seller right away! that saleswoman pretended she didn't know English, and when we turned to leave she was laughing at us, behind our backs, along with the other workers. We have never experienced such a thing in all our lives, that someone robs us in front of our eyes and then laughs at us. The impression is that the girls who work there do so in agreement with each other.

The bakery has very cool decor inside and a glass floor where you can see the bakers. Great service and coffee!

My favourite place for brunch in Sant Antonio, very friendly staff, amazing pastries, very good coffee and smoothies but the best that I recommend is the pork loin and bacon sandwich, it’s a banger, is worth the money!

Found this looking for late breakfast,around 12.00 and sat for a coffee initially. I have to say, as an espresso lover, their coffee is amazing. Definitely tastes artisan and organic(as they advertise it). We had two croissant, one salty and one with nutella and both were very tasty. I also can recommend their juices as they are definitely 100% fruit and fresh. Getting back again for coffee and breakfast while we are here.

Exceptional cakes! Everything looked so nice, it was difficult to choose. Very friendly staff and the service was very professional. We enjoyed tea and cake on the final day of our holiday.

We had breakfast here twice and we simply loved it! The bread and every dish was fresh and delicious. They provided an outstanding service even when the shop got busy. Also, you have the chance to sit inside and be served with coffee or other hot drinks. I highly recommend it !

The best ensaimadas I've ever had. Also took some lamb and some spinach empanadas to the beach. Flaky crust and generous fillings. The coffee was perfectly executed. Will be a required stop when I'm in Menorca.

A poor example of 'service' and good manners - We chose this bakery/café based on positive Google reviews. Sadly the service was an embarrassment to all the lovely, friendly Spanish people we have interfaced with over the years (in Seville, Soller, Port de Soller, Bilbao, Barcelona, etc). We were ignored, whilst the locals were served, even when many of them arrived after us. This has never happened to us before on our holidays around the world. So rude, disappointing, and not a way to run a business. In the end, we got up and left - and the staff continued to ignore us on the way out!

Amazing coffee and pastries. They had soja, oat, almond and cow milk, and also had decaf. The staff was super sweet, the place was adorable and the bathroom was clean as a whistle! Definitely recommend.
