Wonderful experience, the staff were very kind and attentive. Good food, good service, good atmosphere. The price was reasonable. Highly recommend this place.

My recent visit to Hot Flame World Banquet in Livingston was a five-star experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding, with an incredibly attentive and friendly staff. The food was always fresh, with a vast selection of great-tasting dishes with the buffet being constantly replenished. A highlight was the live cooking stations; the chefs were not only skilled but also welcoming, preparing delicious food right in front of us as we ordered. This made the food incredibly fresh and flavourful. While not applicable to myself I did notice, and was impressed that the vegetarian options were clearly marked. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our meal and will definitely be returning soon.

The best place to eat and enjoy eating Food from all over the world you find it in this place, i traveled the world while been served on my table. The best is the sushi bar with the Shif Rakish 10 out of 10 Highly recommended place for kids and family to gather and eat Little secret (( book your table one day in advance and get better price ☺️)) booking online is so easy

It's just OK. My biggest disappointment was the "Mexican" section... my God! If they did Mexican food properly, they'd need 3 times the whole venue space. There were hard taco shales - not Mexican, they're from USA. Chilli con carne - not Mexican either, also from USA. And something that said "Mexican" rice... what on earth is that? Nowhere near an actual Mexican rice. Anyways... I was hungry, so we had food. Not going back any time soon.
Magda F — Google review
This is easily the best buffet I have been to. All food is extremely fresh and absolutely delicious. There is even a live food section with amazing teppanyaki grill in which all meats are cooked perfectly, a BBQ type grill bit and also a section to get fresh pasta. Staff are also lovely, definitely recommend!

Unbeatable Hot Flame Buffet in Livingston was fantastic! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavour. From the moment we arrived with our 3-year-old (mid-tantrum!), the door staff were so kind and helped calm him down. We were seated in a lovely private booth, which made our meal so relaxing. The table service was brilliant – plates whisked away like magic without ever disturbing us. A special shout-out to the teppanyaki chef for an amazing fire and juggling show that our son adored. Wonderful food, wonderful people – we’ll definitely be back soon!
Aneta W — Google review
Went in on a quiet weekday night with our 2.5 year old. Was very good value for money for him and the guys on the live cooking stations were brilliant with him, especially at the grill and the one who was practicing juggling at the teppanyaki. Kept our toddler delighted and genuinely blew his mind with a simple magic trick. Made for a really fun meal.

If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Indian meal, Delhi's Winter is the place to be. The menu has a wide selection of dishes, all of which are fresh and affordable. Plus, the restaurant is very busy, which means you'll get great service.
I was in the restaurant on the 2nd of October 2025 with my wife and in-laws for the food and wine tasting night, and what an unparalleled success. The whole place was buzzing, the staff were outstanding and polite as always and the food was nothing short of sublime. I've been to Delhi Winters many times, and have yet to have an OK meal, it's always been a step above, but the whole structure of this specific evening was an absolute triumph. The wines were expertly chosen to compliment each course, and the champagne for a welcome drink was a touch of class. I cannot wait for future events, as I truly feel, that introducing these nights will escalate Delhi Winters to the next level. The Thalis, (veg and non veg), were a master stroke as it introduced each diner to a dish that they may not necessarily have ordered. I for one would not normally go for a veg style starter, especially mushrooms, but the mushroom paté in pastry, (that would rival a greggs steak bake), I would eat that until the cows came home, sent back out and then wait on them coming home again. The Prawn curry, the lamb chops, the potato and cauliflower dish, butter chicken, Tikka paneer, cabbage and peas (who knew?) then the desserts, OMG, carrot cake to die for and the chocolate fondant with ice cream and pistachio drizzle was a perfect way to end a perfect evening. Everything was absolutely exquisite. Bravo to every one, and THANK YOU.
Daniel S — Google review
Small place but free parking around the back. Starter was decent and not over cooked. Goan fish curry was very well balanced so well done to the chef. Would come back here and try something else. Portions are small but that's the only negative as the food was all great. Worth a gobble if you are in the area.
Richy H — Google review
As tourists, we decided to eat here. Best decision of my life. The person at the front was very friendly and ensured we had a pleasant experience eating, and food was top quality. However, the vegetarian food was slightly worse than their non vegetarian counterpart. All types of Indian food is allowed here, though I'd recommend exclusively having North Indian cuisine. Recommended.
Sam S — Google review
Spotted this by chance, needed to exit hotel, didn’t do usual Google maps search, just turned up after a wander through Linlithgow. Lamb chops, chapatis, sag aloo and an accompanying sauce were all recommended by Rehman, the waiter who drew me in. I’m glad he did both as it’s probably the tastiest meal I’ve had in some time. I wish I could get that sauce recipe, can’t quite pin it down and I know I’ll struggle to replicate it. Chapatis freshly cooked, sag aloo not just a side show but a key player, lamb was prolific, tasty, tender, sat on mouth watering charred onions and peppers. Isn’t that enough? Outside doesn’t do this place justice. Their outside tables and chairs are a bit worn and the view of Tesco’s isn’t the best but they had flower boxes out. The inside does look very welcoming but tonight it was just too hot. I hope to return.
Richard B — Google review
We had a wonderful time at Delhi's Winter on Sunday. 5 of us went there for lunch, our server Rehman was always there with a big smile. The taste of food was good and better than few reputable Indian restaurants in Edinburgh. Only thing that these guys can improve on is time taken to prepare and serve. Overall, it was a very good experience and would be back here whenever we are visiting Linlithgow.
Chirapriya S — Google review
Food is good, but delivery service is very poor. We’ve had several meals delivered. Always add 30 minutes to any estimate offered (even if it’s a long wait). For example, our last delivery took 2 hours 10 minutes (no apology). Not very friendly in either order taking or delivery. Spoils the enjoyment of the meal.
Daryn M — Google review
Definetely "The" best Indian food we have had the pleasure of eating. We travel 140 mile round trip for our curry! Absolutely great food and service by "Rehman" and his team. Coming from Manchester originally and having tried most of the restaurants on the Curry Mile and then hundreds of others on our travels, we keep coming back to Delhi's Winter as it is our favourite and in our opinion the best food. Don't be deceived by the outside appearance, it's not posh but really superb food and service at a realistic price. Gail and Steve xx

Great meal yet again. Never had a bad meal at the BayLeaf whether sitting in or having a takeaway. Food is fantastic and so tasty, full on flavour. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I came here yesterday with my beautiful friend who does not live very far and we looked around at few places and seen this place with lovely looking pictures of food! Why a big regret and total waste of money I will never ever come here ever again the food was tasteless totally disgusting! Did not enjoy it at all also got them to take away lamb ponds what a joke that was black pindi! Yuk took and brought it back within two mins as if that would make a difference did not eat the rubber lamb horrible yuk one of the worst place ever!! The service was rubbish on top of that no one came to ask if all was well like other restaurants do just a horrible place big regret and wasted my good earned money in rubbish!!!

I've been a regular customer of the Bay Leaf for around 12years. I am always amazed at how consistent the food is each time. We went for dinner tonight and, as usual, it was delicious. Feel very fortunate to have such a quality Indian restaurant nearby. I am not sure my waistline agrees, however
Madhav A — Google review
We ordered a takeaway for delivery. Arrived within the hour on a Saturday night and couldn't fault the food. Fish pakora was delicious, cooked perfectly. Since Google insists on giving the atmosphere a star rating on a takeaway, that and the noise level at home was just how we liked it too.
Irene — Google review
The food is always excellent. My family and I greatly enjoy the Sunday buffet that runs from 4pm for £16.95 per person. The drinks are a tad on the pricey side, £3.95 for a pint of soda and lime or bottle of cola etc. I only justify it as the buffet is fab with its selection and the food an absolute treat for the price. Staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs. Only thing I would say is the restaurant could do with some low background music just to create a better atmosphere and create some privacy of each tables conversation. All in all a very good experience at less than £21 per person. Will be back again!
JT — Google review
I stopped coming here about 18 months ago as there seemed to be a change in staff (or some change in circumstances) and the service on a couple of occasions was really poor. However, we returned this evening to give the buffet a chance and we were delighted with the food, efficient service and value for money. Can now wholeheartedly recommend.

First of all I would like to clarify "IT IS NOT INDIAN RESTAURANT". Its Bangladeshi restaurant. Please dont have very high hope or don't compare with indian dishes. I found the food have average taste. Specially when there is no other asian food option near by. I would like suggest to improving the quality of dishes as they were having too much oil/masala/gravy which upsets kids stomach. We had take away and chapati wasn't fresh as they were breaking when folded. We were able to manage with plain rice. I find the guy on reception, having positive attitude, very helpful. also good ambiance for dining.

Title: A Delightful Indian Dining Experience at Bayleaf, Pumpherston What I Enjoyed: From the moment we walked in, Bayleaf sets a warm, inviting tone. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The décor strikes a pleasant balance between modern comfort and traditional touches, giving a sense that effort has gone into both ambiance and service. Food & Flavour: – The menu offers a wide selection — from mild, creamy kormas and rich biryanis to spicier vindaloos and tandoori dishes. – Our starters were excellent: the samosas were crisp, the textures good, and the sauces well balanced — not just spicy, but flavoursome. – For mains, the lamb rogan josh had depth and warmth, with tender meat; the chicken tikka masala was creamy without being too heavy, and the flavours felt authentic. Rice and sides were generous. The naan was perfect — soft, slightly charred in the right spots. – One standout was their house-special dish (if you try it), which showed some creative flair: the marinade was delicious, and the grill/tandoor character came through beautifully. Service & Experience: – Dine-in felt relaxed. Service was prompt, plates brought in timely fashion. – The staff were helpful when it came to recommendations and adjusting spice levels. – Drinks, appetizers, mains, and dessert flowed smoothly; the place felt lively yet not rushed. Room for Improvement: – On a busy evening, wait times were a little longer than expected, and one of our dishes arrived a bit cooler than ideal. – Maybe some lighting could be dimmed a tad or softened — certain areas were a bit bright, especially near the entrance. Overall Verdict: Bayleaf in Pumpherston is a gem. It may not always hit perfection every time, but it comes very close. For a solid Indian meal in Livingston area — with authenticity, good service, and welcoming atmosphere — this is one of the best. Definitely worth a return visit.

As an Indian it’s always difficult to find authentic food so when I moved here from London I was delighted to find these guys on my doorstep! Food is delicious, non greasy and perfectly spiced; it’s also always freshly made despite a very short wait time. My favourite thing is the service though, they always go above and beyond with everything and I can see why so many of us locally are regular customers. Highly recommend if you want authentic Indian food, their house special Mango chicken is to die for! (Though I have it with paneer instead of chicken!)

1st time visit to this restaurant. Mostly attend Bayleaf in Pumpherston. Drinks order taken, arrived , water was requested, it didn't arrive. We asked again. The restaurant wasn't that busy. They took ages to clear the plates from our table, {poppadoms) - ordered chicken pakora as a main , it came about 20 minutes prior to our mains meaning one of us ate alone. We asked for more drinks. Food was ok. Sadly on this occasion we didn't leave any tip other than. We've been once and would not go back and please up your game on service as the service at your restaurant in Pumpherston is 1st class in.comparison.

Ordered carryout for first time due to good reviews ! The mixed pakora was tasteless and huge portion (I would prefer quality than quantity. Curry was average but the accompanying bread was tasteless and like a soft piece of dough. The price should have represented quality as most expensive carry out I have had in West lothuan

Wagamama Livingston is a casual restaurant located in the Elements shopping centre, offering a Japanese-inspired setting with long communal benches. The menu features a wide selection of Asian dishes such as pasta, rice, and side dishes, along with desserts, freshly squeezed juices, hot beverages, wine, sake, and Asian beers with a Japanese fusion twist. Customers can enjoy favorites like Chicken Gyoza and Chicken Gochujang Rice Bowl.
I have been here a lot of times and I have never had a bad experience. I come a lot with a friend who has celiac disease - she says she gets the best care from staff here than anywhere else. The manager always comes and takes the order and is very well informed about the choices containing gluten. The food is delicious, although I have noticed the prices hiking up over the years but this is the same across all wagamama restaurants. Highly recommend coming here!
Hannah W — Google review
With chains, you know what you are getting so it’s no surprise that the food was great. What really stood out was the accessibility the brand has in place and one waitress in particular. She noticed my nose was 1” from the menu & let me know there was a large print version and would I like it. She even opened it at the section to benefit me as it also has brail. This demonstrated good observational skills, the offer of equity rather than telling me what I needed & a knowledge of what the company offered. We were checked on a few times, a wee bit banter but otherwise left to enjoy our piping hot food. Layout is spacious & wheelchair accessible with various heights of tables. Toilets are mixed gender but all Individual with their own sinks. Didn’t catch the waitresses name, dark hair & atm tattoo. She is what made the visit. Food-Tokyo breakfast cocktail -fresh, delicious. Pork pho & beef rice bowl. Savory broth, plentiful noodles, veg, & genius pork. Slightly spicy tic salad, perfectly cooked. Octopus balls are always a winner & new fried rice squares with avocado & mushrooms. Lovely but the mushrooms are crispy. Personal preference is that it was too much crunch and sautéed would add more varied texture.
Rose T — Google review
Food was ok, my drink (ice matcha latte) was meh. The main issue was the service. We asked the manager (as she was nearby) for the bill, and we specified we have a discount. We waited for a good 30-40 minutes and then we told them again to bring it. When they did, there was no discount applied and when we questioned it, the server told us no one told her there should be one.

Came to Wagamama for my 30th birthday lunch and had the best meal. The vegan fried chicken in teriyaki sauce was amazing! And the vegan coconut kare and Vegatsu were both delicious as well. Our server was attentive, friendly and we had great seats under a heater which was appreciated on a cold and miserable day. 10/10 and well worth the money! Can’t wait to come back

We arrived right near close and needed food and beer for 7 weary people, Amy came to the rescue. Brilliant meal, everybody enjoyed themselves from start til finish and we were even given iced glasses for our drinks. Amy couldn’t help us enough and to top it all off managed to get the wooly jumper i left behind back to me by post out of the kindness of her heart. Thank you for the lovely experience

Disappointing. The service was absolutely amazing. After having avoided wagamams for 5 years due to not great experiences my wife convinced me to try the Livingston one after a great experience she had with a friend. But after this visit it confirmed my fears and she apologised. The kids menus is great and the staff were amazingly helpful but the first off part was the panko fries chicken. It was rock solid and extremely over cooked. Then my wife's fish curry arrived, the fish was very dry and the whole dish was practically sauceless. My wife was confused "it wasn't like this last time" we asked for sauce (which looked like the sauce they forgot to add) which was at a charge. Then my duck noodles arrived and I have never had a more bland tasting noodle dish with bits of cremated duck that were like balls of oil. The good news was my daughter's kids meal of chicken noodles tasted absolutely amazing. We quickly paid up and headed to dive guys to lower our dine out disappointment. I have attached photos of the meal.

😬We have never eaten such terrible curry - we ended up throwing it away. It was only tomato and onion that hadn't been cooked with meat thrown in. And even the rice was undercooked and tasteless. I'm so disappointed 😭😭😭 especially as we've eaten Jogan Rosh before in the Middle East so we know what it should be like. Unfortunately, as we've tasted Indian food from India - this experience was poor. And yes, I did message the restaurant who said they'd address it and to please come again. Definitely not.

Wasn’t sure about having a meal here because of mixed reviews but I’m really glad I gave it a try. Food was very tasty and cooked very well. Our server was extremely friendly and very helpful with recommendations on what to try and was very understanding on my partners intolerance to too much spice so he recommended a certain dish for her to try which came with a separate sauce which he said would be made extra mild to accommodate her intolerance. Portion sizes were very good and couldn’t finish my meal so took the remainder home. Will definitely be back again

South Indian chilli chicken, Daal, vegetable pakora, chicken pakora, beef madras, steamed rice, egg rice, spiced onions and popadoms was our families order tonight. First time tryers and I can honestly say this was the best takeaway Indian we have had. Easy to order online and pay for, we decided to collect but you can get it delivered. The staff at Zaika Livingston even called when it was almost ready so that it wouldn't be sitting there getting cold. 10 outta 10. By far the best Indian meal to date.

It serves up the best veg pakora we have ever tasted. 😋😋 The service is first class and totally reliable. 👏👏 It's a must for any who appreciates a quality service and quality cuisine. Love it. 😍

Went here today for a meal with my family. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. This is our first time eating here, and it won't be the last. The surroundings are pleasant, and the prices are very reasonable. Our party was 3 adults and 2 children, and the kids were happy with the children's menu. I would definitely recommend Sabannga to anyone

Food and service was 💯. We traveled from Oban (3 hour drive) to go there for my birthday. It's our third time visiting this restaurant. Thai food cooked authentically. The waitress made it special as she was so so funny but at the same time remained professional, good sales person and she knew how to upsell her restaurant and products. We'll be back again. 👍

Lovely place, friendly services the guy serving us was new which is fine even if he did offer us mayo to go with our prawn crackers... 😂. But still great service and will come again if we are back in the area.

Delicious and authentic Thai food in an adorable setting with fantastic staff. What a wee gem, glad we popped in to try it. It has parking, gluten free and veg/ vegan options as well as halal chicken.

Such a warm and welcoming place. The food was to die for, spice levels adjusted to everyone's preference. My 7-year-old said the noodles from the kids menu were the best she's ever tasted. The staff were incredible, very courteous and friendly. Highly recommended!

After hearing good reviews from our neighbours we decided to try sabannga. We were really impressed. It's a cosy resteraunt just what we like. We arrived at 4.30 so were the first to arrive. The delicate background music was lovely transporting you back to Thailand 🇹🇭 The food was delicious we had the king prawns & spare ribs for starters both tasty! The ribs were just falling off the bone. For mains we had weeping tiger & the pork special which were both good especially the pork as it was slow cooked & just melt in the mouth delicious. Next time I'd love to try the tamarind duck. We had dessert cocktails to finish i had the one with lemon cello cream & a cherry on top it was divine. We had a fab eve! The staff were so lovely. Thank you Sabannga we hope to visit again soon 😊

Had such a lovely dining experience @ Sabannga service was great, attentive whilst leaving you to enjoy your meal. Choice of dishes was also very good we opted for Gai Satay and Tom Yum for starters then Gaeng Pah and Gaeng Panang Gai all were beautiful presented and we were pleased to be given the option of mild/medium/Thai heat etc. We also noted there was a vast choice of gluten free dishes which is great to see as my mother-in-law is celiac and usually has a poor choice when dining out so we can bring her here with confidence. Our first time dining here and will definitely be back. Have to say was really impressed with the young lady who was serving us cheerful and friendly also thoroughly cleaned and tidied other diners tables once they had left. Gave you confidence they have pride in great service and standards of hygiene. Well done great hospitality thank you 👍😁 will be trying some of their noodle dishes next time

The Chinese takeaway Hong in is always delicious and hot. The counter and delivery staff are always polite.
I call up beforehand to check my request was suitable and I cannot speak more highly of the team. They not only helped with my shortcomings but also were so kind and considerate towards the situation. 10 out of ten. Yet to taste the meal however it was cooked infront of my eyes and the amount of curry sauce was unreal 👌

Used to be good value for money, not now. Chicken balls (9 pieces)and chips used to be £6.80 then it went up to £8.60 with 8 pieces. Last night I got it and had 7 pieces of chicken. Is that how they operate? No complaints about the quality of the food but the portion reductions seems sneaky.
Johnny M — Google review
My first time here and wow it was amazing, the absolute best chicken and pineapple I've ever had. Will definitely be back. Only niggle was the shop was freezing while waiting. Thank you.
Ann B — Google review
Ordered a few things from Hongs in the last few months although I've never been particularly thrilled by the quality of the meals they've filled a hole. However last night's meal was the kicker that made sure I won't be back. Ordered the Pork in black pepper sauce with chow me in noodles. Pork was so chewy it felt like I was chewing gum and the sauce was overly salty to the point I stopped eating after a few fork fulls. When I had been previously the snack box's had been okay and solid value for money. However any proper meals haven't been the best. Overall I don't think Hongs should be your first choice Chinese maybe 3rd choice if others are very busy. Probably best staying too the staple dishes rather than trying something new if you do decide to order here.
Owen A — Google review
First time at Hong tonight and we will definitely be returning customers! The chicken in the curries was quite chewy and we prefer it tender bit that personal taste and all in all we were very happy. Quick, inexpensive and very tasty!!
Kerry M — Google review
We normally buy from them and enjoy but this time I don't know whether it's due to business being slow or a new cook but it was nowhere near as enjoyable. I couldn't eat the onion rings. Done well but covered in excess with salt. The chicken in the curry was stringy and chewy I gave up. So disappointed. Not their usual.
Lynne G — Google review
Quite good food , parking out front can be quite busy but you can see your food being made which is always good. Delivery seems to be pretty consistent and quality seems to only occasionally drop. Prices aren't too far off average and portion size is fine.
ScottishExplorer — Google review
After many delicious meals over years from Hong's I visited last night as a takeaway treat for myself and my parents. It had been over 2 years since my last one as having moved house. Ordered: Chicken satay starter.... It was so overcooked and dry you could have soled shoes with it nevermind get your teeth thru it! Tom Yum Chicken was tender but the Tom Yum sauce was watery and no Tom Yum taste or heat! I saw a munchy box advertised and at £16 I thought it must be good.... ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Everything was deep fried (Looked as if they had partially cooked it even before that) THEN chucked in a wok with so much salt that none of us could eat anything! I called to complain and was advised that no one has complained about that before and that's the way they do it. No offer of replacement... No offer of refund... Service to match the food served! I have worked in restaurant management for over 20 years and this looks like reheats / pre prepped partially cooked / no fresh cooking or flavour / no proper cooking skills except how to work a fryer and apply excessive amounts of salt! Possibly different management from years ago! The worst meal I have ever had! Went straight into the bin! Very disappointing!

Yang Sing Chinese Buffet Restaurant is a popular no-frills dining spot with a lively atmosphere and an impressive selection of dishes available for both dine-in and takeaway. The restaurant offers a wide variety of meats, including high-quality seafood options on Sundays. While the vegetarian choices are limited, the food is generally described as tasty and fresh. The buffet features an array of flavors from savory to sweet, along with desserts like New York cheesecake and strawberry cake.
Found at random by Google search after a long days walking in Callendar Park. Recently i have had some bad experiences with poor quality food at world buffets in Glasgow. No such problems here at Yang Sing. Everything about this place was good on the night. Decor is modern, bright, with easy access to buffet trays display area. Service is excellent, used plates are removed quickly. The lovely girl serving us was so helpful and friendly, recommending dishes to us. She has great customer service skills. Buffet charge on a weekday was £15.99. You get a lot for your money, there is a huge choice of quality items. So a great pot luck visit for us. Happy to return when in Falkirk🤗

Great food and amazing customer service. We were staying at the Premier Inn down the road and were looking for somewhere to eat and came across this gem. There was so much variety to choose from and they were really accommodating with us. A few in our household have allergies and the waitress took a lot of time explaining which dishes contained the allergens and even offered to have fresh ones cooked for us without them in. Absolutely brilliant customer service. Would highly recommend.

Very polite and nice staff. Most of the food tasty (above average). Wide variety of meats, only 3 seafood dishes (on Sunday), but of good quality. Very, very few vegetarian options. Quite unfortunate as I had one food deviant with me and she didn't find many options for herself. Clean restrooms, but the dining area could be a bit cleaner.

20/2/24 I sat beside 2 auld dears from Bo'ness when i boarded the bus in Grangemouth & they were going shopping in Stirling & i told them i was going to Stirling too & asked them if they knew a friend that i went about with from Bo'ness & they said that they knew her & her family very well & i told them that she had died & had gone to Heaven & how she got their was by her faith in truly believing that Jesus died for sins. They also surprised me by telling me they were going for an Indian meal & i guessed the MAHARATA yds up King St. & i was right & told them it was a good restaurant, then they said we thought of trying the Indian Cottage which is easy walking distance from the Thistle ctre & i said it was even better & the last time i was in there my food came out, not just hot, but SIZZLING hot🔥 Sorry for diverging. When i left having the lovely thick soup & a coffee ☕ in CHESTERS 👍 i went into the Ashman well after 5pm & there were only a couple in there. The 3 staff i met & were served by were all very friendly & easy to talk with & you can read my comments on the pictures & the short video BUT one thing i noticed in other photos as well as mine, there seemed to be strong colours of dye added to the food - I might be wrong, but that's what it looked like to me. It was a good idea to have that bottle of Alcohol Gell on the table 😁 Please be aware - they don't open in the afternoons.

I ordered a take away from ashmann a coupleof days ago. This restuarant has always been one of my favourite Indian restaurants. Unfortunately the meal on Wednesday evening was very disappointing. I ordered a chicken and Lamb dish. Both dishes were mixed up with the chicken in the curry dish that was meant to be lamb and vice versa. The lamb was very tough and the chicken had grizzly bits of cartilage in it. It was a real shame as the two sauces were lovely, both meats were what let it down . Will have second thoughts in ordering from here again.

Met by nice friendit staff who took our order and served us in a nice timely fashion which couldn't have been easy as there was 20 of us there. The food was excellent and the generous portions went down a treat. Great atmosphere probably caused by bring your own bottle house rules which certainly added to the banter. Well done to all the staff to contributing to a really good night out. Fabulous night out and would throughly recommend the Ashmaan for a good night out.

Used to be a firm favourite of mine, went there last night and was shocked by the price and over all quality of the food. The chicken/noodle soup - sliced chicken roll of some sort, possibly tinned! Worse Chinese I’ve ever had in my life. Should have known when I’ve seen pink Kung Pao chicken… 🤢
Kamil Z — Google review
We’ve been going here regularly for years. And over the last few months it’s steadily gone downhill. Food quality, consistency and actually getting the order correct. Tonight was the last straw. Special chow mein tasted really off. I had a tiny bit of noodle and thought it didn’t taste right, then I bit into the king prawn. It was hard and crunchy (no shell!) like water chestnut and tasted really odd. I called them and said there was something wrong. They told me to put it back in the container and to bring it back and asked if I wanted another. I declined and asked if I could have something else - the thought of another prawn or noodles was making me feel ill. I asked for beef and broccoli and a fried rice Upon returning the dish, (no apology for inconvenience) I had to wait until they added up the price difference (£1.70). I told them I wasn’t paying the difference as I’d had to drive back to return it and wouldn’t have had to change it if there hadn’t been something wrong with the order. After much discussion in Cantonese I was told I’d have to pay to return a dish next time?? I shouldn’t have to return food I’ve ordered. This place has continued to get worse lately and there’s inconsistency with dishes from night to night. Between that and the latest idiocy over returning a meal that I’ll be lucky I don’t end up ill from, we will not be returning.

"The Dine Indian Restaurant" offers a mixed dining experience. While some customers have faced issues with their reservations, others have praised the fantastic food and good service. The restaurant is known for its generous portions of meat in the curries and great sharer starters. It's conveniently located on the high street with ample parking. The interior is clean and tidy, and the staff are well-dressed and attentive.
Been out the Country for 2 years and came back and had Dine takeaway as this sort of food abroad just isn't up to the standard here! Top notch as usual. We have eaten in the restaurant and did take away. Portions are very good and the food is hot, fresh and tasty!

I have only eaten twice here but need to start with a warning: both times we have booked online and received confirmations and both times we have turned up and they had no record of our booking. Both times the have managed to seat us but on one of the occasions we were squeezed into too small a table. The food however is fantastic and the service was good. There is plenty of meat in the curries and the sharer starter is great. Both times we had one of the special curries and both were excellent and different from normal curries I’ve had elsewhere. I would definitely recommend and will probably alternate between here and the Bay Leaf in Pumpherston.

Nestled in Livingston, the Sapphire Restaurant is a gem for those craving authentic Chinese cuisine. Diners rave about the delightful set menu for two, featuring mouthwatering dishes like spare ribs, char siu, and beef in black bean sauce—all served with fluffy rice and crispy prawn crackers. Even on bustling Saturday nights, when the restaurant is packed with eager patrons, the food arrives hot and fresh.
Fabulous food! We had the set menu for 2, and the spare ribs, char sui, beef in black bean sauce and the sweet and sour were all really tasty. Very good value for money...included 2 rices and prawn crackers. It was all freshly cooked, and still hot when we got home. Really enjoying this place. The decor is stylish and welcoming, and the atmosphere has a really nice vibe overall. Staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. There’s a great selection of food and drinks on offer — loads of variety which is always a win. Everything’s been very clean every time I’ve visited, which adds to the overall good experience. Only thing I’m still figuring out is the food itself – I’ve had some good dishes, but still trying more to find my favourites. But so far, so good! Would definitely recommend if you’re in Armadale and fancy quality Indian food in a lovely setting.

As it was a Monday night the restaurant was vey quiet. Just one waitress on duty. The food was OK but nothing special. What did disappoint was the lack of metal hot plates on the table to keep the food hot. Also at the end of the meal the was not hot clothes to freshen up and no After Eights or shots. Maybe I am just used to the Indian restaurants in Manchester where the above is always included with the meal. The waitress was very nice, but once the main course was served she disappeared and we had to go and find her to get another drink. Unfortunately I also thought the meal was expensive for what we had, but again I am maybe comparing what we get in Manchester. If the above issues and pricing could be resolved , we would go back.

Chopstix at Livingston Designer Outlet is a popular dining spot with a variety of options for both meat lovers and vegetarians. The friendly staff, including individuals like Daniel, Dorota, Kirsty, and Teri, provide excellent service that enhances the overall experience. Customers appreciate the great deals on food items such as spring rolls and the option to request tap water. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the food is described as delicious.
Always get a chopstix when am in livingston. The kids love it and so do us adults. Yummy, hot food and different variety of chicken. Staff are friendly too, sometime jus need bigger portions between staff.

For this restaurant it’s located in a the food court of the designer outlet. They have a range of oriental foods with options of rice noodles and the toppings of chicken in different flavours from Chinese curry, Katsu, salt and pepper and sweet and sour. They have options of box meals where there are upgrades to add a side and drink. They offer extras like dips on offer 3 for 99p. When I was in visiting for a meal I was upsold to the meal with extra side and I opted for the extra sauces for my side. They also have an app in which you gain points for visits.

Since its kinda hard to find water refil in livingston, you can ask for tap water to the waitres in chopstix when ordering! Nice food big portion!

Good service and ok food. Serving size is small but with drinks acceptable. It’s halal so that’s a plus. Recommended.

The food is always good despite the randomness of the portion size (regardless of what size you order) this seems to be open to interpretation rather than any set ratio. The staff appear to have male/female devide, the guys seem friendly and engaged whereas the girls seem stand offish and sometimes to the point of rudeness. Food is good - staff 50/50 split!!

Impressively diverse menu and consistently great quality food from this takeaway. Every order I’ve had has been fantastic and delivered quickly by friendly professional staff. They will also tailor dishes according to your personal preferences if you speak to them. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely ragin with anger, after specifically saying NO CARROTS due to allergies. Its got carrots, allot more underneath. Phoned them up, spoke to extremely rude girl, says nothing Stating allergies on order ( I ALWAYS SPECIFY ALLERGIES ON MY ORDERS) she said I WAS NOT GETTING A REFUND, £20 NOW IN THE BIN I reordered previous order on there app, and it clearly stated my instructions as u can see in the picture before i paid for it on app. Absolutely would not recommend this place.
Lorraine B — Google review
Would not order from here, good food ruined! every single thing was inedible, noodles tasted like theyd be lying for days and reheated, ribs and chicken where burnt to a crisp, curry&bbq sauce was flavourless. Save your money and order from elsewhere! Sounds like they need a visit from environmental health as well judging from the many 1 star reviews talking about food poisoning.

Best food I order from here regularly and their prices are brilliant. They also always offer great deals. 10/10

Worst experience in 20 years! Food came 2.5 hours after order. I had phoned up several times only to have the call declined or ignored. Eventually after I’d already broken out and eaten the frozen pizza, it arrived. (Past 11.30pm) The entire order had been microwaved in the bag it was delivered in and the polystyrene boxes had melted onto the food; leaving it all tasting like plastic and it was binned. Another of the boxes had burst open and the sauce spilled out. Delivering microwaved junk so long after the order had been placed is a waste of time, doesn’t matter how busy you are. Don’t waste your money here My previous review: 5/5 Orients food and delivery time is always top notch, even with the ongoing virus causing their orders to increase, I would imagine. Not a bad experience with the place.

I ordered the roast pork chow mein, there was NO pork in it, the noodles and onion taste good but i wanted roast pork, and delivery was very slow.

From someone that orders from oriential a lot and always happy at the end today was the worst food ever like absolutely I had Singapore’s fried rice wich i always get and shredded chicken and prawn crackers so as I’m eatin the food smelled so so so bad like it was off or something it was so disgusting put me off my whole food the rice wasn’t seasoned at all I think they gived me normal rice with a splash of soya sauce and diced some chicken and called it a day, but yee.

Celadon 2 U is a Thai restaurant that offers fresh, delicious food with great service. The atmosphere is elegant and bare stone with pale green decor, making it a perfect place to enjoy a pre-theatre meal. All of the dishes were enjoyed by all of the guests, who agreed that it was an excellent meal. Kay is also an artist and some of her sketches are displayed on the walls - adding another layer of character to this unique establishment.
If you want to enjoy good authentic Thai food in Edinburgh Waverley run to Celadon 2 U, it’s the best in town without any doubt. The host is so sweet and the food here is made with so much of love. It is a small place but the food and the ambiance is totally worth every penny.

Surely one of the best restaurants in Edinburgh I had the pleasure to try. The quality of meats and overall all ingredients amazed me and I especially recommend Holy Basil - based dishes. Also, prices are really fair. You will most likely spend less money here for an exceptional full meal than in some shops for a couple of heated up bagels...10/10! Will surely come back!

A cosy Thai restaurant with street-food inspired atmosphere. They serve wonderful delicious Thai food. The place is located in the residential area on Rodney street, not far away from Leith walk and Broughton Street. Although they have a few tables but the restaurant has quite relaxed vibes as if you have gone to your friend’s house for tasty home-made food. The best part is that you can also BYOB!!!! The owner and the chef are wonderful people. They are super friendly and have fantastic high-standard customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who love Thai food but prefer low-key and relaxed atmosphere. Come check this place out!!! You probably have to book a table if it is the weekend or why not try order a takeout. UPDATE 5 May 23 We made our way back here again!!! The food was awesome as always !!! ♥️♥️♥️see photos! We had an exceptional meal 🥘 👍🏼

Dragon Palace Takeaway in Bathgate has been receiving positive feedback for its efficient service and delicious food. Customers have praised the staff for their attentiveness, as they rectified orders promptly and provided excellent customer service. The online ordering process is seamless, and deliveries are remarkably quick. Despite some minor issues with special orders, the overall consensus is that the food is great value for money and consistently arrives hot and on time.
Placed an order online on way home from airport, delivered 2 of same dish in error and all I got was attitude when I called and asked for it to be put right. Told I had to wait on driver returning with apparently THE only copy of the order to check and would call back, 15 mins nothing so I called again and got more attitude still no driver. An hour now since initial delivery, half my family don't have there dinner. Customer service is shocking.

I ordered food, when I phoned back up to ask when it ill be here a woman ok the phone told me I t was leaving now. However 35 minutes later ( when I only stay a 5 min drive away) the food is turned up freezing cold. When I called back to complain the woman was extremely rude ans I could hear the chefs shouting in the background back to qhat she was saying. I asked the woman how it would be fixed, and was told there is nothing she is willing to do to fix it. Not even offering a discount or replacement. She then said I cant help you and proceeded to hang up without saying bye also

Want customers money? treat them properly.

Ordered salt and chilli chips and a curry sauce - the most basic order ever. Gave my BBQ sauce instead, I called back to let them know they had given me BBQ sauce by mistake "lady" on the phone was so rude and was adamant that that was what I asked for saying that she read it back to me, which she didn't as I wanted curry sauce so if she had in fact read back BBQ sauce to me I would have said no I wanted curry sauce. Absolutely shocking customer service, even blaming me saying I had asked for it. Used to be very nice staff here certainly won't be back.

absolutely shocking!! so it started when i placed my order they sent the wrong meal. I didn't mind but was slightly annoyed as it was already a little past dinner time. I phoned to ask if they would send me the right thing and they seemed okay with that. 40 minutes later and still nothing, so I phoned back to ask if they were actually coming and was shown nothing but rudeness and aggression. the lady on the phone said it was my fault and that it didn't matter because she was new to the business. Bullshit! I ended the call after the lady began back chatting me. safe to say I will not be ordering from dragon palace again and advise others to do the same.

The Panda, a Chinese takeaway in West Lothian, has been a favorite for many customers for nearly three decades. The food is consistently excellent and the go-to choice for takeout. Customers praise the freshness and quality of the dishes, particularly highlighting the sweet and sour chicken and Korean ribs as must-try items. Despite slightly smaller portion sizes, patrons find the food worth its price due to its superior taste compared to other nearby options.
Popped in here during a work break for a late lunch/tea. Feels more like a take away with a few tables to eat on if you choose to eat in. However vegetarian rice noodle dish wash fantastic! It was just right, fed my appetite without making you feel bloated. If in the area again will definitely be going back again

Sat in and asked for half duck, but didn’t have any, no alcohol licence, and no tofu, anyway, gave us duck slices, charged us for full price of half duck, and my son who eat it, has had diarrhoea all morning. Wouldn’t go near the place again, The place overcharged, and food poisoned. 🤮

The best chinease in bathgate, i was pleasantly surprised at the sweet and sour chicken, it wasnt too sweet or acidic. The chicken was moist and cooked well, and you could tell this was fresh, good quality chicken. When ordering food i'd keep in mind that the portion sizes are a bit smaller than you would expect so it makes eating here a bit pricey, but i would say its worth it compared to the other takeaways nearby.

Golden Wok is known for its quick delivery and good food. Some customers have mentioned that the curry had an overwhelming amount of onions, while others found the banana fritter undercooked. However, overall, the food is described as good and not greasy.
Quick delivery, good food but 2 points, need to calm down on the onions in your curry, I mean I like onion but I asked for a chicken curry not an onion curry. My banana fritter was still raw and couldn't eat it but that's just down to not cooking it long enough 🤷‍♂️. Overall good food, not greasy and I will be back 😄.

Bought a munchie box and it’s was just so salty, I felt it was over cooked, I know it’s deep fried but it was just so saturated. The majority of the box went in the bin. Quick delivery and polite driver. Chips were ok but not a good first experience.

If you are looking for a Chinese takeaway in the Bathgate area do not use this company We ordered through just eat and we were told an estimated delivery time of 60 mins which was fine, however the food turned up within 15 mins which under normal circumstances would not be a problem. The food that was delivered to us had obviously been cooked hours before and was reheated prior to delivery. When we complained we were told that we had been barred from ordering again from them and that we would also not have the food replaced If you like rubbish food, rubbish service then this is the company for you, otherwise do not use this place Order at your peril

Watch the amount of white pepper in the Hot and Sour soup! Way to peppery. Had to leave half of it. The rest was fine. Salt and pepper squid and large spring rolls. Not sure the spring rolls were homemade like other Chinese in the area but they tasted nice and were well cooked.

I really enjoy the food from here. However being a single person I seldom am able to order anything now as they have increased their card payments to £25. I'm sure they have their reasons for this but I feel it's excessive and probably loses them some custom.

Food is always brilliant and staff friendly. However, I really wish they’d be more honest about when the food will be ready. I’ll order on the phone, they’ll say “ready in 20 mins”, I’ll walk into the shop and only then they signal to the kitchen to start cooking. Completely defeats the purpose of ordering on the phone.

Order from here very occasionally and it’s not bad, however today I called up, 30 mins before close (plenty of time) and was told very bluntly that “that’s them cleaning up now”. Patrons often praise the excellent food quality, accurate wait times, and overall pleasant dining experience at this lovely restaurant.
Enjoyed a meal with family from Sky Kitchen in early July 2022 (a Friday night). Superb amount of choice on the menu, food hot when we collected our order, reasonably priced and polite, friendly service with a smile. Our order choices were delicious and the portion sizes were excellent. I ordered tofu with mixed vegetables & cashew nuts as my main (as tofu is my favourite and it isn't available at every Chinese takeaway, I was a very happy bunny!), my family chose meat dishes. Altogether, 3 happy adults! We had enough in leftovers to eat cold for lunch the following day, too 😋 Thank you very much. Will be happy to order from them again in the future.

Sky Kitchen used to be really good under the previous ownership, but not great now the new owners have taken it on. Place is not pleasant inside and it used to have a lovely sit in restaurant until Covid hit. Food is poor quality. Soggy crispy shredded beef and overpriced over salty food.

Used sky kitchen as it was nearby & need something quick, soon realised why I don’t use here since it changed hands! All the products seem good & fresh but they overcook everything. My ribs had nice flavour but was like chewing bark! Spring rolls again just deep fried far too long! Beef chow mein also overcooked & mushy. Honestly think this place could be good. Boil the ribs then gently fry in the flavour, stir fry the chow mein quickly & fast don’t boil it down to mush! Sorry but gave this place a few chances & its always the same

During my recent culinary adventure, I stumbled upon Dragon Hing, a delightful eatery that came highly recommended by a friendly receptionist. I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and mouthwatering flavors. To my delight, they even included complimentary crackers, spring rolls, mini samosas, and curry sauce—an unexpected treat that added to the experience! On another occasion for lunch at Dragon Hing, I was greeted with warmth from the staff behind the counter.
Tried this place for lunch and loved it , kind warm welcome from last behind counter . Well priced lunch . The curry sauce is very good and the portion size was perfect for lunch . Chicken was tender and delicious 😋 definitely worth 5stars .

First time using them and waited for two hours and twenty minutes. Wouldn't answer the phone, etc. The quality of the food was terrible, very rushed, and the chow mein had a burnt taste. First and last time I would use them.

Ordered chicken and sweetcorn soup, barbecue spare ribs, chicken balls, shredded crispy chicken in sweet chilli sauce with fried rice. Soup was thin and bland, plenty of chicken but next to no sweetcorn. Spare ribs were tough and had quite a few bone splinters in. Chicken balls, apparently, we're tough and didn't taste like chicken. And, the shredded crispy chicken was neither shredded or crispy. It was half inch stripe of chicken, some of which hadn't been sliced completely, and it was not battered. The outside of the chicken was dry and very hard to bite through. First time I've had to use a knife and fork to eat a Chinese meal. It was so much hard work to eat that I gave up half way through. I won't be ordering from here ever again

Ham was tinned (spam) - disgusting. Chow mein was basically plain noodles and boiled chicken. BBQ sauce was inedible as it strangely tasted like dishwasher soap. Really bad meal, so disappointed.

Since moving into the area 3 years ago we tried all the local takeaways. Dragon hing was the best Chinese until recently. We ordered our usual Salt and pepper chicken wings to start. When they arrived there was no salad and the "wings" were not wings. They are a little bit of breast which has been scraped back and served. Needless to say they were tough, dry and tasteless. My main of chicken curry was also very bland. When i called, i was advised the manager would call me as we had been customers almost every week for 3 years. Not a cheep from her. Extremely disappointed in the service and the food quality as it has gone right downhill. We will never be ordering from Dragon hing again.

Aroma Restaurant & Bar is a delightful dining destination that promises an unforgettable experience. With its inviting ambience and ample seating, it sets the perfect stage for any occasion, be it a birthday celebration or a casual meal. The menu boasts generous portions of flavorful dishes, such as the Tandoori Paneer Tikka and the creamy Dal Makhani paired with fresh Laccha Paratha and Tandoori Roti.
We went there for my wife's birthday dinner and it was fantastic. The ambience was great, and there was plenty of seating. The food was worth it - the portions were huge, and the taste was top-notch. They also have a fantastic selection of drinks. We tried the TANDOORI PANEER TIKKA, which was a real treat, and for the main course, we had the creamy and delicious DAL MAKHANI with LACCHA PARATHA and TANDOORI ROTI. The roti was so fresh, and the paratha was good and unique! Overall, I would say this is the place I would visit again and recommend to others.

My experience was very good, food was tasty and full of flavour. Staff very friendly and service was on point. My only little issue was the lamb chops needed a little more cooking, still very tasty and I enjoyed them! Overall great place and would recommend.
