One of my favourite places in Venice! The view is amazing and the stuff is kind and helpfull. We had the famous ice cream (amaretto was the best) and aperol. Totally recommend!!

This was one of our favorite gelato stops (and we had lots) because of the lovely outdoor seating, best prices in Venice, and the best Tiramisu flavor we tried on our trip. Bathroom on premises too, great for kids who needed a stop.

The flavours were interesting, but the taste and the texture wasn't to our liking. The texture was too frozen and the flavor didn't feel natural. A bit disappointed after having good gelatos in Italy.

You know what. Best ice cream I had in Venice. Flavour, among the best. Price, very fair. Size of scoops, among the biggest. The buy behind the counter, a pro. I wanted ice cream, he had ice cream, I said what I wanted, he asked "cone?" I said "yeah" he said "to side" and oriented himself sideways to the other counter. I walked there. He asked "card?" I said "yeah". He pointed to the terminal, I put my card on the terminal. We both said Gracie, I got my ice cream. Easy going, minimal amount of obstacles from wanting for ice cream to getting ice cream. I will definitely return here the next time I am in Venice.

A truly unique experience if you want it to be. Alongside the standard selection of pistachio and chocolate, you can find flavors a little on the wild side, like ginger, sage, saffron or anise. I had a three flavor combo with “Goodbye Dubai” chocolate, mandorla (almond), saffron and it was delicious. Stop by for a treat!

I searched for Gelateria Alaska after reading about it in a Wallpaper City guide, if anyone remembers the guides. It was a very hot day. Perhaps it was the extreme late summer sun, but I chose a scoop of the peach to cool down. It was light in flavor, just enough to enjoy the cool of the gelato with a refreshing peach taste. Not too heavy in sugar, so it melts more like ice versus frozen syrup. The location is quiet, secluded almost, a rare sentiment in Venice. You can even find shade in the area. And just beyond it, you will be treated to a stunning canal view.

The owner was so kind and helpful with ordering, I am vegan and gluten free and was very impressed with the range of flavours aside from just fruits. So many beautiful spices. I got the cinnamon gelato and wish I was staying longer so I could try cardamom and all the other vegan flavours! Made in shop from natural ingredients. No syrups. Highly recommend 💕

If you love to support local businesses and eat ice cream, don't hesitate to grab a scoop at Alaska! [ORIGINAL 2022] his is the gelato I have ever had, and I was fortunate that I was living near here while I was in Venezia. Every afternoon I went here for my daily gelato, I witnessed the owner Roberto tediously labored to hand make gelato with fresh milk. If you want real local gelato, this place is it!

Probably the best ice cream you can find in Venise. Great flavors and everything is home-made. Very fair price. I recommand all to go here instead of other touristic shops with industrial ice cream.

Cute small business, i can assure you It makes it's ice cream there with home ingredients. Super friendly people, especially the girl that was there, also knew English really well. Good pricing, cute spot. You should stop by to have a taste of their ice creams

I’ve tried over 70 artisanal gelato places around Italy many of them tre coni winners and this is some of the best gelato I’ve tried & by far the best gelato in Venezia by a long way. The Venetian gelato game is not strong so if you do like excellent gelato make the little walk here away from the main area and indulge. They have a variety of interesting flavours, fabulous portions and wonderful service. Seriously pleasant experience and it is a beautiful area of Venezia with little foot traffic, great for photos and well worth the trip. I enjoyed my gelato so much from here - it restored my faith in Venetian gelato, the pistachio and arancia varieties were particularly exceptional! Fully recommended, I’m looking forward to returning and trying more flavours!

The first time we went here, they had a delicious mojito-like gelato with lime and basil and mint that was heavenly. It was so good that we went back four other times, but they never had it again. Aside from the mint basil lime flavor, their gelato was fine. I liked some of their other flavors like grapefruit, but thought some of the others were a little heavy. Overall it was mid gelato, but if they have the lime mint basil flavor get it it was wonderful

Meet with this lovely person Denis at this Gelato shop. He is very helpful and nice person. Best Gelato to get going towards Rialto Bridge. Must try their Pistachio flavour ice cream if you like nuts. Don’t hesitate to ask if you like to taste and choose which flavour to go for.

Never has buying ice cream been so enjoyable. Dennis was incredible, making us feel welcome as soon as we stepped into the shop. ‘The best gelato in Venice!’ according to the kids but it’s the kindness and warmth of the service that will take us out of our way to visit again before we leave.

The pistachio tiramisu was so bad. It was too sweet and the texture was too hard to eat. Not recommend at all.

The owner is super nice and the flavors I have tried (which rotate from day to day) have been great. I would recommend the cherry and the coffee particularly. For the other moms out there, NB half the store is gelato for the kids and the other half is bottled treats for the parents you know you want after a day touring with said kids! Five of us went to this gelateria based on recommendations. We got different flavors. Here is our consolidated opinion: If you are desperate for gelato and every other gelateria is closed, go back to your place and dream of gelato you’ve had in the past instead. Here’s why: It was like bad ice milk. Icy, not creamy, and not flavorful. It was just sweet. The staff was also unpleasant. Not sure why this place is so recommended.

SuSo is one of Venice’s finest gelaterie, known for seasonal flavours and creative flair. I skipped sorbet in favour of ice cream, choosing my benchmarks of Madagascan vanilla and Piedmontese hazelnut – both superb, creamy, and true to origin. For the third scoop I asked for a recommendation, and without hesitation the server said: “Manet – it’s rated #1 by the New York Times.” It lived up to the billing: gianduja chocolate-hazelnut beneath a luscious layer of salted pistachio, indulgent yet balanced (10/10). Paired with the classics, it made for a revelatory trio. SuSo deserves its reputation – a must for gelato lovers in Venice.

We had the chance to try the viral ice creams at SUSO, and they did not disappoint! They offer an enormous variety of flavors, and it’s really hard to decide because you want to try everything. Luckily, the friendly staff behind the counter are very helpful and offer small samples, which makes choosing much easier. This is definitely a must-try during your stay in Venice! But… be prepared to wait — the lines are almost always long.

I was so excited to try Suso, and the flavors did not disappoint! They have a huge, inventive selection. I tried the Manet (a rich chocolate-hazelnut gelato topped with a salty-sweet pistachio cream) and the Suso (an amazing double caramel that tasted like a classic liquid toffee). Both were incredibly flavorful and tasted very high-quality. I loved the signature "SUSO" cookie they add on top. My only suggestion for improvement is related to the temperature. The gelato was served very soft and was already melting the moment I received it. It seemed like it hadn't finished cooling completely, which might have been because of how busy it was. Despite this, the taste was excellent and I'd still recommend it for the unique flavors.

Totally overrated Gelateria - Gelati are heavy on sugar and light on taste as they seem to use little fresh high quality ingredients. They go for the „oh“-effect with creative names and colors since they cater to the daytrip-visitors who flock this area close to the Rialto-Bridge. Sure it’s better than most other competitors in this area but if you look for truly delicious ice cream try the Penguino in Castello.

The line can be a little bit long. But it only took us 5 minutes to get inside the ice cream store. They offered a variety of options for flavor. They all look good and taste good. I would recommend this gelato store to those who is planning a trip to Venice.

Saw a lot of tik toks about this place and thought I would give it a try. I got it twice during my time in Venice and it totally lives up to its expectation! I got the dark chocolate and white chocolate pistachio and both were equally delicious and paired together nicely. A little more on the pricey side compared to other gelato places, but not too bad.

The ice creams are amazing. We tried Bianco and Mimosa, and both were really good. Very creamy and full of flavor. Definitely worth trying!

great gelato when you’re in Venice- Venice can be overwhelmed with tourists and trousers traps; and although this is near a few attractions, we found it to be quite good! Lots of flavor options, specialties, and kind service. I tried the local Doge flavor of cream & candied Orange ribbon + chocolate chips and it was fantastic. I took a chance on something that didn’t immediately jump out to me and I’m glad I did- I would highly recommend!

It can be tough to find high-quality, authentic gelato in the busier parts of Venice, so we were thrilled to come across Gelateria Il Doge. It's in a great location but feels like a genuine, local spot, not a tourist trap. The service was very friendly and they had a great selection of interesting flavors. I decided to try their signature 'Il Doge' flavor – a cream base with candied orange and chocolate chips. It was absolutely fantastic; really creamy with a great balance of citrus and chocolate. I'm glad I took a chance on something unique to the shop. This is a proper artisanal gelateria. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area and looking for the real deal.

Got the fior di latte classic gelato flavor. I think this store is pretty historical and there was a line when I went. I think it was a decent gelato but there’s definite better out there. It’s light but I find it a bit on the sweeter side. Maybe I’ll try a different flavor next time.

There is a reason Google saysReviews not verified. this place deserves zero stars. It is really bad. For this place the gelato was absolutely the worst I’ve ever had in my entire life. The vanilla tasted like licorice. Vanilla is my yardstick for measuring how good gelato is. This place totally fails. Into the trash.

We stayed in Venice for 3 days and on our first day, we got an ice cream from Gelato di Natura and THAT WAS THE BEST ICE CREAM I’VE EVER HAD! The ice cream is delicious, the people work in their are so nice! We had ice cream for 5 times in 3 days so I highly recommend this place! Go and get an ice cream and thank me later :)))

Good quality gelato but more expensive than the similar ice cream places.

I was passing by, saw some nice looking sandwiches behind the shop window, and decided to try it out. The chicken burger turned out to be super tasty. The buns, the chicken piece, and the salad were all fresh. I was very satisfied with this small food stop. Sadly, didn’t try out the homemade gelato.

If I could give this place a million stars I would. We loved it so much that we came here twice in two days. The lady working both times was so nice and spoke English well. Every gelato flavor that we tasted was good, but the coconut was the best in my opinion. I had a strawberry crepe that was super yummy! We had a very nicely hand decorated bottle of limoncello as well. Great location! It is near St Mark's and there are gondolas parked in front/passing by.

I was told this was the place to go for the best ice cream. Well, it was not bad but also not very very good. It was OK for an ice cream nothing more and nothing less. The people in the boutique were really nice and friendly.

This place has legitimately good ice cream. Interestingly (compared to venetian prices) it’s cheap too. One ball is 2€, two 3€, four 4€, etc. But only take two balls the portion ist big enough. Sadly they don’t have many different choices. Mostly very common variants like strawberry, chocolate, etc

If you saw this on Somebody Feed Phil, this is no longer Boutique Del Gelato -- they got bought out in 2021. This was still excellent though. Very creamy, great price.

This is absolutely the best gelato in all of Italy. We went there because Alessandra has been featured in 'Somebody Feed Phil'. We loved her personality so much so that we just had to meet her. Well...meeting her was just as good as her gelato! She is the nicest Italian we've met on this trip. But back to the gelato. It is just perfect. Not too sweet. You can taste it's homemade. Just perfect gelato! Don't go anywhere else. Plus her prices are just right!

Really unpleasant experience at this highly talked about Gelato place. Upon asking to taste one of the ice creams, the young lad on the counter curtly said 'no taste' and walked off to the interior of the shop. Upon telling him that I had come here on the recommendation of a travel show and this type of service leaves a bad taste in your mouth, he simply shrugged and said 'this year we're not doing any tasting, as people taste and don't buy'. As good as their gelato may be, such service showcases the worst of any country and should be shunned. Anyway walk away from here and a few yards away there's two excellent options- Ci Gusta and SuSo. Just walk in the direction of Rialto bridge and you will find them in less than a minute on your left! The Madagascar flavour at Suso and the Cheescake st Ci Gusta are excellent.

Delicious gelato! Best I've had in Venice so far! And they we're open after 9pm, which was surprisingly hard to find. I had the Brutto e Buono flavor (chocolate and hazelnut). The chocolate dip on the cone was warm and amazing. Definitely recommend!

I ordered classic gelato (no topping) in cup with dark chocolate and pistachio. I would say pistachio gelato is the best i’ve ever have so far. The taste of pistachio is strong but it would be 10 out of 10 if it has less sweet in it. I also went back to Milano and ordered pistachio again since it was sooooo good. The panacotta one is also good. Recommended!

A chocolate lover’s paradise right in the heart of Venice. The shop smells incredible the moment you walk in, and everything looks like it’s been crafted with care — from the pralines to the spreads. We spent around €42 on assorted chocolates and a jar of “chocolate cream,” and it felt worth every euro. They also treat new customers to a free chocolate and give discounts for future visits, which is such a nice touch. Elegant, generous, and full of that Italian sweetness done right.

So many delicious flavours and so many vegan options, from coffee and dark chocolate to pistachio, hazelnut and sesame fig as well as any of the fruity flavours. Its other shop gets incredibly busy but the line at this one even at peak time was perfectly manageable. Yum!

Gelatoteca SuSo is my favourite gelateria in Venice, a place of pilgrimage for gelato lovers. The name plays on Venetian passageways – sopra (over) and sotto (beneath) – fitting for a spot tucked into the city’s lanes. Flavours are handsomely crafted. ‘Nocciola’ (hazelnut) is smooth, nutty and elegant, though a pinch of salt would lift it further (7.5/10). Vanilla brings balance. Sorbets strike brighter notes: raspberry fragrant and sharp (7/10), lemon a sunlit tang (7.5/10). Even simplicity feels composed – a wafer like a cymbal, spoon poised like a baton – conducting the tongue in a symphony of remembered summers.

When I first visited here, the staff recommended the menu. She recommended NOTA NERA, and believing in her was the best choice. The harmony of fresh raspberries and thick and sweet chocolate was fantastic. I couldn't forget the taste, so I visited here again a few hours later and ate NOTA NERA. Luckily, there were no people waiting on my first visit, but on my second visit, I had to stand in line. It's delicious, so of course it's popular. I want to work here and get paid by NOTA NEAR. Also, the staff explained the taste to me very kindly in English.

When the weather gets hot, everyone’s craving ice cream and one of the most popular spots to grab a gelato is Suso. It’s perfectly located right next to the Rialto Bridge, so it naturally attracts lots of people. Be prepared for a bit of a queue, but it’s worth the wait! They have plenty of delicious flavors to choose from, so it’s a good idea to scan the menu first before you get to the counter, that way, you’ll know exactly what you want when it’s your turn.

Hands down this was the best gelato I’ve ever eaten and especially in Italy. We had gelato and Rome, Naples, Verona, Florence, Amalfi coast, but nothing compares to this gelato shop. The flavors are experimental and delicious, creamy and so tasty. If there is a line, it is totally worth the wait. The blanco and the tarta de queso were my personal favorites. They allow samples, and they also let you get 2 flavors in a small size which I loved!

I have never left a review in my life - but this experience was so bad that I had to. My brother, sister, and myself walked into this shop to grab some gelato before heading back to Florence. After my sister placed her order, she was asked to pay. She placed her drink on the clear countertop so that she could get some money out of her purse and was scolded by the employee (man in his 40’s/50’s) for placing it on the countertop. She apologized, but not after him scoffing at her for it and saying “get that cup off my countertop.” I then (reluctantly) placed my order, despite my gut not wanting to give him any more business after this interaction. I had just finished my drink, and so I tossed the cup into the garbage beside the counter. The employee then stopped what he was doing, stared at me for about 5 seconds, scoffed, and said “are you kidding me, you did not recycle that?” I apologized immediately and offered to pull it out of the garbage can and place it in the recycling bin. However, I did not see one. I asked the employee where the recycling bin was and he stated he did not have one and that I need to go find one. After searching for a recycling bin for 10 minutes, I gave up. He shook his head again while handing me my order, and it took everything in me to not respond back to this rudeness. This is not how you treat a customer, and I certainly will never be returning to this establishment and urge everyone else to avoid it as well.

while the granita tastes great this is so wrong for €5.5 a nearly half empty cup? we saw multiple people get barely tablespoon size scoops of gelato… i dont think you can charge this much when the size served is that much smaller than advertised. we watched the server fill the cup and gave her the benefit of doubt so didnt say anything until we had already walked off to eat because maybe our eyes were fooling us but sure enough she barely filled it. so so disappointing:( i guess this was a tourist trap after all

Strolling Venice after dinner and came across Grom, skip the dessert at the restaurant and give their gelato a try. Service was friendly and quick, and ordering was no problem, even for a non-Italian speaker. There are the right amount of flavors that you shouldn’t have a problem finding one. You can get cones or cups in various sizes. Gelato is usually a little softer than ice cream, so perfect for a warm day, but they won’t last long.

My fiancée and I had a total of 20 gelato in 10 days so I’m pretty sure that makes us experts. THIS IS THE BEST GELATO IN VENICE. The waffle cone is a bit too hard but the gelatos are incredible. This place deserves way more than 4.4 stars.

The gelato was very good and insanely creamy but sadly the experience was ruined because of the extremely rude worker. She had curly light hair. First when we arrived she took a few minutes to acknowledge us or even say hi (we were the only ones in the store). Then (always with a bad attitude) she asked us what we wanted and my 9 year old son and husband tried to explain to her (because we don’t speak italian) and she got really annoyed and raised her voice a bit and said to us in english that she understood. Overall, it doesn’t matter if the food is amazing because it only takes a rude person to never come back.

One of the best gelato place in Venezia! The colors weren’t too bright (which is what you want in gelato) and the gelato was very creamy! A local hangout not too far from the main tourist center. Not a super busy place, if it looks like no one is there, the owner is probably in the back. Definitely recommend the pistachio flavor!! Loved the location and gelato so much, I went three times! To note: the owner was friendly to me the first two times I went, but then seemed indifferent the third time. I’d have give 5/5 stars if not for the rude exchange

The pistachio with chocolate was an apspoulet treat—it had the perfect balance of warm and cold temperatures weirdly but a delightful contrast, and the flavor was incredibly rich and satisfying. ​We stumbled upon this place perfectly during our wander through the winding streets of Venice. It was a wonderful surprise and an ideal spot to take a break and indulge. ​I'd say this place definitely has a scoop on the competition!

An absolute delight. The fat content tastes a bit lower so it gives a slightly less creamy mouth feel but tons more flavor. The yogurt with maraca is a must for any passion fruit lovers, tangy and delightful. The dark chocolate with pistachio cream is out of this world

This place is a hidden gem in Venice. Not only was the scoop portions bigger than other places, the white chocolate and pistachio flavors were INCREDIBLE. The pistachio was my favourite one in Venice since it wasn’t overly sweet and I can actually taste the pistachio’s nutty flavour!

I would give a eight stars out of five rating if I could. I cannot understand how I could live before since today was the first time for me trying it. I saw the light when I tasted it. The only gelato in Venice (among other 2 delicious places) i’m happy to pay 4.50€ for (2 scoops of icecream equivalent to 4 and loaded with whipped cream). As a gelato estimator I love when the first thought grabbing an ice cream cone is “where do I start? This is too much!”, and the young lady who served me surely lit this question in me. I highly reccomend the chocolate pistachio and the peanut salted caramel flavours. Looking forward to come back for the white chocolate. Thank you, a truly life changing experience.

If Heaven Had a Freezer, This Is What’s Inside ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bacaro del Gelato… I don’t even know where to start. The dark chocolate gelato with pistachio cream wasn’t just good—it was a life-altering, “I’ve-seen-the-light” moment. I’m pretty sure time slowed down and a choir of Italian angels started singing as soon as it hit my tongue. The dark chocolate was rich, intense, and perfectly bitter-sweet, like a romantic Italian love story. The pistachio cream? Smooth, nutty, and decadent enough to make you wonder if you’ve been living your whole life eating fake pistachio. Together, they formed a flavor combination so divine that I briefly considered proposing to the cup. My only regret—my greatest regret—was that I didn’t go back for more. Now, I’m destined to spend the rest of my life wandering the Earth like a gelato pilgrim, searching in vain for anything that comes close to this masterpiece. Spoiler: nothing will. If you’re in Venice and you don’t go to Bacaro del Gelato, you may as well tell your taste buds they’re not allowed to be happy.

The BEST icecream in VENICE. You have to try!!! We visited this gelateria on three different days during our stay in Venice, and each time it was absolutely fantastic. We tried several gelaterias around the city, but this one was by far the best — hands down the highlight of our trip when it comes to gelato. The quality of the ice cream is outstanding: rich, creamy, and incredibly flavorful. You can immediately taste the difference in how fresh and well-made it is. There were no ice crystals at all, just perfectly smooth and velvety gelato. Every spoonful felt indulgent. The berry flavors and the cheesecake gelato were especially amazing — full of intense, authentic flavor and so creamy that we kept coming back for more. We also highly recommend trying the “Bueno” and “Biscoff” flavors, which were both unique and delicious in their own way. This place is truly a gem in Venice. If you love gelato, don’t miss it. Honestly, if I could give 6 stars, I would. It’s that good!

While out walking the area of the Ponte do Rialto, we wanted to stop for gelato and sorbetto and came here. Service was very friendly and the guy working was very helpful. They were busy, but the line went quickly. The sorbetto tasted pretty good.

I judge all dark chocolate gelato against Prague’s Cream and Dream version, which is the darkest chocolate gelato I have found. Gelato Fantasy’s Chocolate Fondante is a strong contender, very dark and very rich. I paired it with some Snickers gelato, which was jam-packed with Snickerishness. My friend had one of the waffle-on-steroids cones, which she asked to be filled with a surprise mix. The kitchen sink result did not disappoint either the eyes or the buds.

We visited during the 3rd week of Sept 2025 and was in Venice for 3 days. We had gelatos from here every single day because it was that good. I tried the pistacchio smeraldo, fragola (strawberry), passionfruit and tiramisu whereas Char had the fior di latte (milk), cioccolato fondete 75% (chocolate), and cookies. My favourite would either be the pistachio or tiramisu. Char’s fav was the milk. Highly highly recommend this store over other famous gelato store that is trending on tiktok. We tried both and the flavours here felt much more authentic and neither artificially sweet.

Visited Gelateria Gallonetto in Venice and it was one of the best gelatos I’ve had in Italy. Each scoop was creamy and full of natural flavor — you can really taste the quality ingredients. What a must visit, I cannot lie. The ice cream was absolutely amazing and I cannot describe the flavours, best flavour? It's 100% fior Di latte which is a milk based flavour. The queue was about 7 minutes long but it was for sure worth it!🎉🎉🎉 You have to come here and enjoy these amazing flavours🍨🍨🍨 This is the best gelato shop ever, beating all other shops in the whole world and I have tried ice cream all over Italy mainly. Just WOW! It’s so very hard to find truely perfect gelato stored and served in the round tins with the covers but when you find one you DO NOT EVER EAT ANYONE ELSES GELATO. Gallonetto has ruined gelato for me for I will never had a lick so perfect. If pistachio is available do not think twice and definitely order massive amounts because it sells out fast and isn’t always in stock due to the insane popularity. This month the flavor of the month was cinnamon cookies and apple and it was beyond excellent. The service was wonderful. Kind and cheery and never trying to rush you though despite the ever building line. I miss gallonetto already!

Great variety of gelato flavors. The quality is also outstanding, one of the best we’ve ever tried and our favorite, the best in Venice. We went on a sunny Saturday afternoon, so the line was quite long, but even so, we were served quickly. Totally worth it!

The ice cream here is delicious and reasonably priced! The only comment I have is the passionfruit flavor is so SOUR! I could barely eat any and I love passionfruit desserts. The pistachio flavor was great! The gentleman serving the ice cream was very friendly.

Best Gelati in Venice as far as I am concerned. Daily fresh ice cream made at the shop by the owner a young lady who grew up just around the corner and pours her heart into this amazing Gelateria. Available tastes change daily and seasonally, try the liquorice ice cream which is usually available only Saturday afternoon and Sunday because it sells mainly to Italian customers. Pepe the cat sleeps in a card box in a corner and adds a homely touch.

Must go! So good. We went every day of our visit. New flavors daily and owner so friendly! We had a long, hot, uncomfortable travel day and she made us so happy on arrival. Slurp (pistachio & chocolate), Mama Mia (amaretto and chocolate pieces with nuts), Vanilla cream, Berry, Penguino, all so good I will dream about it.

Gelato so good we stopped going anywhere else! Every flavor we tried was amazing and the owner was very nice! There are also plenty of unique flavors that she changes throughout the day. We would go out of our way to come to Venice again just for the gelato here!

Wow, absolutely one of the best gelatos I’ve ever had! Super tasty and high quality! I liked it here much more than other better-known stores in the San Marco plaza.

Nice cafe with a lot of history. It’s had a lot of famous guests through its doors and has been in continuous operation since 1720’s. Our experience was a pleasant one, we decided to sit outside due to the good weather conditions and the live music that was playing and managed to get a view of St.Marks Square from our table. Thing to note is that you do have to pay a charge for siting outside while the music is playing of €7 per person. I feel this is a little steep as a small family that is seeking to attend could end up paying nearly €30 before they have even ordered anything. We ordered two cocktails at €24 and €25 each along with a cappuccino which cost €12 and the waiter brought complimentary crisps and water for the table. This added with the €14 music charge resulted in a total of €75. A little expensive for what we had but with the atmosphere and location the cost of the drinks can be expected. We were served quickly and after our order was taken it arrived about 10 minutes later. When we arrived there were only about 2-3 tables available so it was somewhat crowded. We ventured inside to where the small rooms were located to have a look around and view the little shop which sold snacks and merchandise. The decor of the interior is very impressive and has managed to keep its charm from its beginnings it seems. If you’re after a couple of drinks while in the Square I would recommend however if you’re not directly in the area there are other places that will offer a similar experience at half the price.

Yes the atmosphere is nice, yes the location is good and music amazing. But I still think that the prices are too high for that. Also it would be good to say in advance that during summer they have other kind of tiramisu and not the classic one. Generally it was good, but not worth 42€ for one drink and dessert. You can just sit nearby and still listen the same music for free.

A must when you go to Venice! It is a 7 euro cover charge per person for the music. But worth it for the vibes at least just one time ahha the Apple tart was the best pastry I’ve ever tried! And I just got some tea to go along with it. The music was nice and the cafe was beautiful. It was like 65 euros for 2 teas and a pastry so make sure you come knowing that this will be the most expensive cup of coffee or tea you’ll ever have. Haha

When in Venice, might as well sit at their square and enjoy the live music and drinks- their Prosecco was best. The evening musicians do have their varieties, and take requests where possible for discretionary 20 euros. Seeing they had clarinet, violin, piano and bass, I requested for Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin but sadly this was not possible. Still enjoyed listening to many of their music. Went back on our last day during daytime, did not disappoint.

Came here to experience one of the oldest coffeehouses in the world, operating since 1720. We sat inside, where there’s a cover charge of €7 per person. There’s a live orchestra playing outside, and although we could hear a little of the music from our seats inside, we couldn’t really see them perform. The drinks are on the steeper side — I ordered an €16 cold coffee cream (Frozen Florian) and was surprised to see it was about the size of my palm. Nevertheless, it’s worth visiting this café at least once in your life for the experience, though I probably wouldn’t come back a second time.

Grilled Octopus was one of the best dishes we’ve ever had. Scallop Risotto with Asparagus was amazing. This restaurant was an absolute joy to eat at. Very attentive staff, we would highly recommend.

Amazingly good! After you tried its spaghetti dishes, you want to throw those USA ones out of the window. The tiramisu is little too sweet for me but it's still good and different. Needless to say more, just try it!

The staff at Mauro San Stae are wonderful! This was one of the best service experience we had in Italy. Very family friendly restaurant. Food was delicious. Highly recommend the bianco pizza with mushrooms and pesto.

We had a fantastic dinner with attentive and knowledgeable service from the team at Muro San Stae. We particularly loved the "Spaghettoni fatti in casa con seppie al nero", but all of the dishes were delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We really enjoyed this neighborhood find! The hotel staff recommended the rolled pizza and it did not disappoint! I was stuffed, but then saw the lemon gelato. Yummy! Relaxing atmosphere, attentive staff, great food.

Simply amazing. If you are in Venice, this is the only place to get quality coffee. Our family made it a point to make it here every day while we visited. The quality of the espresso and pastries is simply unmatched. For drip, you can even pick your beans, bring it to the counter and they’ll make it for you. Pastries are fresh and when they run out, they’re gone for the day so best to get there earlier if you want to try them all. Brother got a mango smoothie and loved that as well. Friendly staff that help guide everyone through the process of ordering and then paying after you are finished. Helps make you slow down and enjoy— I loved it. The line is nonstop so I think everyone else does as well :) I love everything about Venice but would actually come back just for this coffee shop alone. 20/10 recommendation.

One of the best coffee shops I ever visited. They have great variety of different kinds of coffee beans. I tried everyone and everyone is awesome! Taste is so full of flavour. The beans are amazing quality and they are roasted perfectly. If you are coffee lover you must go here. You can also buy some beans to have this perfect coffee at home. Extremely recommended.

I’ve visited 6 coffee shops in Venice. I’m not sure to rank this top or bottom. It’s complicated and personal. I like flat whites - a rare species in this town. According to smiley barista, only here and ….Starbucks (! Ergh) make them. Great start. Lots of attention to the coffee, these guys really seem to care. But - and I’m so sad there’s a but! - the milk was, IMO, awful! The first cup I abandoned after a couple of sips as it tasted like UHT (although the carton suggested otherwise, so maybe semi-skimmed?). But I really wanted it to work - friendly people, lovely spot - so I ordered my usual, an oat flat white. I checked the carton and was a little nervous as it wasn’t a Barista version….but hey, surely it’ll be ok? This was almost undrinkable for me. I took one sip and abandoned. Thin, oversweet, horrible. I’d have been better off at Starbucks. :( I realise (1) I’m in the spiritual home country of the drink I love, so I should tread lightly (2) this was easily the cafe with most potential we visited and (3) coffee is a VERY personal thing - my undrinkable is another persons unbeatable. But for me, this place has it all, except for the milk. Oh well.

We have been here twice and I have a hard time reading it because the food and coffee is good. The style of the place is decorated to be very cute and cozy, but unfortunately, both times we have been it seems like the customer race is a little pushy and rude before they ordered and just overall made the space a little uncomfortable. The reception was a little more welcoming. I think it would be a five star, but the feelings of this place is just off. Pricing of items varies based on if it’s takeaway, eating standing at a counter or sitting down to eat. This can be hard to tell so be aware if you care. So far the cappuccinos I have had here were good and they have the best cereali and wheat croissants I’ve ever had. I definitely recommend this place. I just wish that the vibes there were more friendly.

This was a cute coffee place. The coffee was good, freshly brewed. The two flavors we took were average. The red velvet muffin was very soft and well done. The joint was cute and attracted a lot of crowd. The decor was quite unique and attractive.

When you walk in and have no idea what's going on and everyone is doing things you know you've stumbled across something truly local and unique. And does it deliver. Just absolutely anything you get here is just good. It's some black magic dust but it's true. The highlight was the cream puffs, which isn't overly sweet allowing all the subtle flavours to come through. Surprisingly the croissant sandwich I had to double back to notice it was baked with cheese. So much subtle flavour. Well worth weathering the storm to get to. Despite being a bit out of the way

The chantilly cream puff is amazing: light cream inside with soft but crisp outside. Personally, I didn’t like the sugar on top because it felt a bit too sweet. I also had the chocolate roll. It was definitely super rich with chocolate but I think a bit too sweet.

Perhaps there is a better pasticceria in Venice, but I haven't found it. This is a traditional pasticceria: you stand to drink your coffee and eat your pastry on the counter top. When I win the lottery, I'll go to Venice for a month, and work my way through the entire beautiful display, enjoying the theatre of it, and admiring the skills of the inestimable ladies serving.

The coffee is amazing. Smooth, strong but not bitter. The service is friendly, helpful (as we spoke little Italian) and the food is fresh. Be sure to try the pistachio croissant. We will be back.

I stopped at Caffè del Doge and had a double espresso and tiramisu. The coffee was excellent – strong, intense, and just a bit bitter, but in a positive way that really highlights the flavor. The tiramisu was classic and well made, a proper version of this iconic dessert. Cozy atmosphere and a great spot for real Italian coffee in Venice. Highly recommended!

Café Del Doge is a fantastic spot in Venice for coffee lovers! They offer a wonderful selection of rich, aromatic coffees and freshly made pastries that are absolutely delicious. I really enjoy coming here to relax, have a great cup of coffee, and indulge in some of their sweet treats. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Venice, making it an ideal stop whether you’re exploring the city or just taking a break. The service is excellent, with friendly staff who make the experience even better. Definitely one of my favorite cafés in Venice highly recommended

This is a cafe recommended to me by an Italian. Although it is very close to Rialto Bridge, it is on a quiet alleyway and therefore hidden. The espresso costs less than 2 euros (you can also buy coffee for your home).

Great spot to grab coffee and a pastry! Delicious pistachio croissant and cappuccino. So many locals popped in and out while I was here; validated it’s a spot worth visiting. They also sell bags of beans to take home and have a clean restroom for customers only.

Real fresh milk in the coffee! This was the first place we found that used fresh whole milk for the flat white. They are a proper coffee shop with beans sourced from all over the world for you to choose from. We had a cannoli as well which was divine. Unfortunately, I did not think to review this place until we had finished.

My favourite arrival celebration, when I get off the train at St. Lucia. A fantastic array of beautiful baked goods and also a nice collection of savouries, very good coffee and extremely friendly service. I’ve been coming here for eons and always look forward to coming back.

We got an Americano which tasted fine but the shop was too crowded and there was not really a clear sign for where does the line starts. A large Americano costs 4.5 Euro which I think it is normal given the price points in Venice

What a great place to have a quick, yet AWESOME bite! It was our last minute choice before heading to the airport, and we are so glad we picked thar place. The ladies at the café are very efficient and quick. Some people take it as "rudeness," but it's just a grab and go (or stand and eat) place. So, they are just trying to give fast service. Anyways, highly recommended.

This was one of our first stops for coffee and a biscuit/pastry on our trip to Italy. I got a flaky warm crostini pastry that had a custard inside, a plain croissant and some other biscuits. It was all very tasty and went down well with a cappuccino. It was so good, we came back the next day! The place is busy but the service is fast and friendly. Highly recommended if you’re ever in Venice!

Delicious pastries and almost all without seed oils. The only pastries that had seed oils were the fried ones; however, there was just one type on the counter. The rest of them were clean, and the ones we tried were delicious.

Outstanding baked goods and really great coffee. The place is tiny, and it's constantly packed - locals come in, grab a couple things, drink a fast coffee, and they leave. I think we were the only ones staying there for a bit in the bar, and that wasn't even 20 minutes! So, this is not a place to sit down, but if you want a fantastic baked good and coffee, this is definitely a place to try. My advice - get their strudel, it is simply out of this world. Fantastic quality, fair prices, and really nice staff.

I am sorry to give only one star but they use to make this amazing caramel, almonds and other sweet ingredients but today I got 500gr and I did not see that the caramel was all burned and when I got home and tried I realized the taste was mainly burned! So upsetting

This place is the best cocktail bar I have ever been to and I have been to a couple around the world. Amazing staff and INCREDIBLE drinks. The staff here is all amazing and so kind. We came here two nights we loved it so much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Stellar experience and definite recommendation for all drinks/cocktail lovers. Besides the amazing cocktails and unique combinations, I appreciated so much how the team made sure to take care of me because I am currently pregnant. After I mentioned that I only go for 0,0% alcohol options, they were a 100% understanding, created a special drink for me (which was amazing), double-checking that it suited my needs. Many other bars/restaurants unfortunately don‘t really care, I was so glad to make a different experience here. Will definitely come back!

A wonderful spot with real character and atmosphere! The cocktail menu is creative and full of surprises: you can tell it’s made with passion. Can not suggest a better cocktail bar in Venice than this one. We seated outdoor by choice. It was a good vibe. The staff kept us informed of how busy Saturday night could be. And made excellent suggestion for cocktails to our liking. Would recommend for a drink or more.

Totally my type of bar! Real cocktails created with good product and smart assembly. Cosy ambiance, not too much sittings avoiding too much noise. Great team listening to you, really kind, give advice according to your tastes. Hope to come back as soon as I can!

When we saw those huge apricot pies in the window, there was no going back. We were already amazed by the ricotta and spinach pie height (more than an inch, double of what we saw until then), but those apricot pie.. it’s more than enough for 4, but 2 can share if you are heavy eaters (there is also apple pies). Everything was great. You get the option of getting things heated to eat there or having it cold and packed to go. The lady was so sweet, helping us in english through it all. Overall, the service was perfect, the food was fairly priced and delicious.

My husband and I had some pizza here (May 2025) for a quick bite after our morning walk around Venice. We had their sausage and artichoke pizza. This place sells by the weight. It was so good!! Lots of good choices. Limited seating, just 4-5 bar seats.

We came here two years ago and on our return visit to Venice today it was the first place we took our daughter to! Yes the pizza is that good from this little fantastic family run business.

Excellent pizza at a reasonable price and in a cute corner store near a bridge. We stopped in for a quick a quick lunch after exploring Venice. There are a few bar seats against the wall or take-away.

The pizza slices of different fillings are beautifully arrayed behind a glass window. We bought a slice each, walked over the bridge and had a peaceful meal behind the Santa Maria church.

Depends on pizza, the one with aubergine was very tasty and the one with potatoes very dry. 1,70 euro for 100g, good price. Good that they are warming up the pizza but also because of this it's getting more dry. Service is nice.

SO YUMMY! Love that you get to choose how much pizza you want since they do it by weight. Worth waiting the 3-5 minutes it takes to heat up your pizza. Would highly recommend the potato one - delish! 10/10

Pasticceria Bonifacio sits tucked behind the Ducal Palace, the kind of place gondoliers slip into for value and locals trust for quality. By day it turns out alcohol-laced cakes, buttery cornetti and rich fruit breads; by night, anchovy-topped tartlets and spritzes. I asked the lady behind the counter to choose me a half-dozen of their best – a midnight box of pasticcini: crostata di riso, torta della nonna, tiramisù, torta al cioccolato, ricotta slice, and a bigné. Each carried that balance of tradition and indulgence that makes Venetian baking so satisfying. A proper neighbourhood spot, just steps from San Marco yet worlds away.

Wonderful locally owned pastry shop! One of our guides shared this place with us and we went multiple times. Decadent pastries! Much better and less expensive than the places on the square. Highly recommend this lovely place!

The pastries were delicious. We tried almond, chocolate, and one that tasted like pecan pie. We were told later by a local that this is one of the best bakeries in the area.

Great little bakery found on the side streets behind the San Marco Basilica. They have a selection of sandwiches if your are craving savory and a plethora of sweets to choose from. We got our basic cappuccinos, a small sandwich to share, and three sweets to pair with our coffees. I recommend this place for a starter snack before you explore the canals and islands of Venice.

Coffee and cannoli were great. We had a chocolate biscuit as well which was just ok. The staff weren't overly welcoming. No seating. Good for a quick stop and coffee fix.

A cafe in one of the oldest buildings on the island that's part garden too? I'm intrigued. It's a very charming space with many opportunities for photos. The space is the highlight and main reason to check it out. As mentioned in other reviews, the food and coffee are decent/ok, and the service is not up to caliber. Though still worth going at least once.

--Atmosphere-- The atmosphere is great. The caffé is in a really lovely and gorgeous garden with an old but gold building. The whole building gives a vintage and cozy house feeling. You should definitely visit here if you have the time. --Service-- Service was good and I liked it but I give 3 stars instead of 4 because they don't allow you to split the bill equally. Surely it is their choice if we are allowed to split the bill equally among customers. However it is my choice to deduct points from this lack of choice regarding the payment process. Other than that the staff was friendly and the service had no delays. --Food-- I had just the right amount of coffee with my americano with milk on the side, however the amount of coffee was vague regarding their special recipes so my friends looking for some caffeine didn't feel like they had less coffee than what they wanted.

We only had coffee. The place is amazing, such a gem, far away from the crowd and the touristy area. Coffee was ok. We found it by chance, and it was really nice to sit there and enjoy a coffee with so much greenery around. But the service is bad and the toilet is terrible in terms of cleanliness.

Not very friendly staff, pigeons flying into the indoors which is terrible, but probably the best cafe option around the Giardinni Biennale area that’s of reasonable price and with a range of light food options, also pretty nice botanical environment (if there would not be pigeons!)

Caffé La Serra was such a beautiful spot for a late breakfast. The setting is quiet and peaceful, with the café nestled right next to a historic greenhouse filled with gorgeous plants. Sitting outside was refreshing and relaxing—a perfect way to start the day. We enjoyed delicious paninis, great coffee, and brioche, all in a charming atmosphere. After your food or drinks, definitely take time to explore the greenhouse. Highly recommend this little gem if you’re in Giardini.

I went there 1 year ago. The food is just okay you can find other good choice nearby. And then they refuse me for one cappuccino, a very tipical breakfast, this year. Just remind you they just want take your money. If your order is not enough, they will kick you out the restaurant even though 50% of seats are empty. YUM!! I had a fig, hazelnut, and a traditional pistachio. Fig was superb, and the hazelnut was good as well, pistachio wasn't the best I had but I guess it is a flavor too popular in Italy and every store has its own way of making it. Would recommend to try this one!

The best I've had in 2 weeks. Great little place with about 10 flavors. I got the ricotta peach pistachio in a small come for 1.5 euro. I think it's cash only. Worth trying to find to grab some!

Very good gelato. Not the largest selection but it has the standard, traditional selection. The focus on fewer tastes is translated to better quality. The stracciatella was the best I've had in Venice so far.

Not the best gelato in Venice, but it did the job! Some flavours were great, but some lacking. The best part was sitting on the steps overlooking the canal, watching the world pass by in the evening sun.

Maybe I would have rated this place more highly were it located anywhere else other than the country of amazing gelato. The texture was too icy and hard, more like regular ice cream and not really like gelato — the picture and shape of the scoop already shows this is not a regular gelato. The flavors we got, pistacchio (recommended by other reviewers) and nocciola (always a safe choice) tasted way too artificial. I’d gladly go to a chain before coming back here.

Tiny place with fresh gelato with delicious flavors. This was probably the best gelato I had in Venice. The owner was very friendly. Definitely recommend, if in the area and it was fun to eat next to a not-so-busy canal.

This gelato is both delicious and reasonably priced—€3 for two scoops. It might be one of the best options on the island. I tried tiramisu and pistachio, and both flavors were excellent. The staff were friendly, and card payments are accepted. Additionally, the location is very convenient, just a 10-minute walk from Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia.

Very small but very delicious Ice Cream at a reasonable price. 3€ 60cents for three scoops. I went for the standard chocolate, vanilla and tiramisu and they were all delicious. Would definitely worth getting a sweet treat from here if you are near the area!

Came here on recommendation from a friend who knows Venice well, and I can see why she says it's the best gelateria in the city! Wonderful handmade gelato, and they're the only ones I've seen that sell big tubs for you to take home. All the locals were lining up, so we instantly knew this place was the real deal. Highly recommended! Oh and they have a giant tub of Nutella with a pump on it so you can add some to your gelato for €0.70... No brainer 😋

So many delicious vegan goodies for breakfast or as a snack. The croissants were a bit too sweet for my taste but they would have gone great with a cup of coffee. (Just watch out if you’re eating these outside as the local seagulls are ready to grab it out of your hand)

Lovely little Jewish bakery, one of the last kosher ones apparently. Also selling some groceries. We only tried cookies but everything was excellent - try the sweet fennel seed matzo crackers that look like snowflakes, so delicious and unusual. And the Venetian Pincia (cross between fruit cake and bread pudding) was excellent too. Because it's dairy free it lasts ages too, so great for gifts to take home :-)

I had the best croissants of my life here. I went to look for anything vegan quite late in the afternoon and I was lucky enough to still get the flakiest, fluffiest, finest croissants of my life. I bought so many that I still had one 2 days later and to my surprise it was still better than most others. If Panificio Giovanni Volpe can make why can't the others? Quality, professionalism and attention might be the clue.

Authentic bar with the most incredible baked items. I had the ricotta slice which I had been searching for all over Venice. All others I tasted were not good. Especially slow service. The employees were much more interested in each other and having a long conversation, insteed to take care of the customer… They put the cakes into a paper bag. he asked back four times that what I exactly want. Putting wraps and paper around several cakes, but finally when I offered the cakes to my family on the street it turned out not all was packed. it is really disappointing. Doing it 10 times a day makes this a really nice extra income…

Wonderful local shop to grab pastries from! My family and I grabbed an assorted mix including 3 flavors of cannolis, a pistachio creme pastry, a lemon meringue, and a caramel nut pastry! Everything was so lovely, and the person behind the counter was so nice with helping us through our first takeaway experience in Italy!! Just remember to say takeaway first if you aren’t planning on eating it there !!

This place offers Popsicles that are such a great treat! They offer many dairy free options!! We had the strawberry and the coffee. Both were really something special!

Really nice bakery, worth a trot. Happened upon this shop after eating across the street. I forget the names of the three items we purchased but all were delicious and cheaper than they could get away with. They have a donut-shaped regional pastry that was really great and happened to be vegan. My very selective vegan partner loved it. We wish we bought more of that and would welcome another vegan item or two.

Wonderful pasticceria in Dorsoduro - lovely coffee and pastries as well as homemade jams etc. Very friendly. The fritelli with zabaglione we had during the carnevale were the best things we ate in Venice during our trip.

Smaller pastry shop with less diverse of a selection as the other shops. However, they make up for this with their dedication to quality. They are family owned and operated. It's not as busy as tonolo but it is a bit better in my opinion. Definitely worth paying a visit if you're looking for authentic venetian pastries.

According to my daughter, the second best cookie she’s ever had. The cappuccino was also some of the best coffee we have had in Venice or in recent memory, and we are big coffee fans.

This place is a Venetian institution. This cozy shop with traditional Venetian sweets will melt your heart and taste buds! Their “Fugassa” seems expensive but it is so worth it. Sweet, a bit tangy and full of flavor! I also recommended Baicoli which are very simple and humble cookies. To be honest, if you tried baicoli from supermarket, you might say Baicoli are not so good. However, their Baicoli here are out of this world! They melt like Italian cookie clouds! So good! A Must visit!

Super friendly locals hang out. One of the last 3 bakeries in Venice that are over 100 years old. I find the negative reviews confusing. We went here 4 days in a row and always had warm friendly service and a little chat. The Fritella (traditional Venetian festivale pastry) were delicious. I tried a different flavour everyday and did try them elsewhere too but these were the best.

We ordered the last tiramisu and a strawberry cream filled dessert and both were fantastic. We also ordered 2 bottles of water and our total was $9. For house made desserts this was a steal in my opinion. I’m not sure what others are talking about in terms of tourist being charged more…My husband and I are both from Tennessee (united states) it is clear to everyone we are tourists and we were treated kindness & service appropriate for the culture!

Can only review from my experience. I came in the store looked around as the couple ahead of me ordered and paid. I waited right behind them as i knew what i wanted quickly, then another couple came and were immediately greeted. Which i found strange considering i still hadn't been acknowledged, yet alone spoken to. The guy who worked here finished up the couple ahead of me and then the lady who came in after me, walked beside me and immediately started her order. He grabbed her pastry and in shock, i said excuse me I was here first I was trying to order and he just stared at me as the lady said something. No apology no acknowledgement so I just said its OK and left. I do not recommend, but i have not tried anything so cannot speak to the quality. I will say as an African American I recommend trying another spot just to be safe. Don't waste the walk to come here .

This pastry coffee place is the real deal, with fresh traditional cookies and pastries, some made of almonds so safe for gluten and lactose intolerant people. We finished our tray of goodies so I returned for breakfast as suggested by the friendly guy behind the counter and the apple strudel was so good I took home two more slices. Really worth a visit!

I stopped in for a delicious espresso and a perfectly made pastry, and it was a wonderful experience. The two ladies behind the counter were kind and welcoming—even though they didn’t speak English, I tried my best in Italian and we managed just fine. They were nothing like some of the negative comments I’ve read; you can’t expect to visit another country and not make an effort to communicate. The pastries were fresh, the coffee was rich, and the atmosphere felt authentically Venetian. A true local gem worth visiting for a genuine experience.

We went here on the recommendation of an actual Venetian who said their frittelle were the best. We were not disappointed with the cream-filled sugary donuts, and lucky that we were in town during the time they are made (only during Carnival and just before, apparently).

Very good pastries, everything on display looked wonderful. I had a croissant filled with cream that was delightful. Staff is friendly... except if you're a tourist who isn't familiar with how cafes work in Italy. We were in the shop for a bit enjoying our treat and watched a few interactions. The man is polite, kind of made fun of me when I mispronounced hot chocolate, but normal in Italy. The woman is very impatient with tourists. A few (American) customers walked in and ordered iced coffee, she barked out with sugar? With milk? Take out? And then complained about them in Italian to other Italian customers or staff.

The attendant was very rude! I've had an bad experience there. I'd asked the menu and the attendant has answered me that there wasn't menu there and after that, he has pointed at the other coffee shop and said: there is a menu at the Mc Donald's. After, I've seen the menu on the wall of the establishment. I wasn't expected this kind of behavior. So, I only drank a coffee ane ate one snack. I spent 5,20 euros. I don't recommend it!

Regarding the taste, one of the best if not the best ever. The one in the picture is pistacchio and the cone is the big one. However, if you are not the type of person that is ready to pay more for an ice cream, I wouldn’t recommend it because it’s a bit expensive. But I guess for better quality and taste one should expect higher prices. Even the cone tasted amazing as if it was just baked .

I had a wonderful experience at Café Tria Grom today with my partner. We visited the Nave de Vero shopping mall and decided to try their special coffee. The coffee was delightful, and we truly enjoyed it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our visit even more pleasant. I highly recommend Café Tria Grom for its excellent coffee and exceptional service. A must-visit spot in the Nave de Vero shopping mall!

The concept is pretty cool: the menu changes everyday. But I just don’t think the food quite delivered… the night I went there were a lot of Asian fusion dishes like Bao teriyaki chicken and pad Thai. I had the pad Thai, and it was too greasy I could literally see the pile of oil after I finished. There were very few shrimps. My friends who got the teriyaki chicken rice liked their chicken as it was marinated and flavorful and pretty tender but the portion was rather small.

Good food. Not super cheap but the food was fresh and delicious. The staff were helpful. Nice stop if you're in the area.

A good honest ice cream on a beautiful street in Castello. Definitely worth a stop if you are in that area. I tried only 1 flavor (coffee) and it tasted the way you would expect it when done right. Flavors on offer are among the most common options of the Italian tradition. Maybe a bit too much focus on chocolate for my personal taste.

Local ice cream but nothing special. The fior di latte was refreshing, the Amarena flavour only had a hint of cherry - hence it almost tasted like fior di latte, too. The gelato comes in the cheapest waffle cone, not a big fan.

Although this Gelateria is small, its ice cream is larger than life! The taste of pistachio ice cream here is just divine. The creamy toping is delicious. The employee was very kind and helpful. We will visit again soon to taste more ice cream flavors. Highly recommended for gelato lovers! Did I mention that it is very cheap too!?

What an incredible bakery in Venice! I planned an elopement in the middle of summer in Dolomiti, and everyone at the bakery made sure to make a cake that was not only vegan-friendly without any eggs or cream, but that is tasted delicious and still held up in the heat of Venice in August. My husband and I weren't picky with the flavor, but it was incredible and impressed my parents and friends that tasted it as well. Not only was the cake amazing, but the service was also hands down great! They went out of their way to meet us in Venice with the cake since timing was a big factor in getting to Dolomiti. We loved this place! The best fritelle we ever tried. There was a variety of different fillings. We tried one with pistachio and the other with cream. Absolutely delicious! Also, they were 1,5€ each. Totally recommend this place!

I have visited Venice many times but recently discovered this bakery (I think this is the correct location - I retraced on google maps and see that the pictures are similar). One of the most delicious pistachio croissants that I’ve had (and I get them whenever they are available because they aren’t as easy to come by!). Also the lady that helped us was very very kind!! I used to live in Italy and the kindness to tourists/foreigners can be very much hit or miss, but they were very kind and patient with us as we deliberated what to order. Don’t miss this place - it’s easy to get to as well!

This is our first bakery to try in Italy so I have no comparison. But the Kraft is very good...soft bread with cream filling. The Ponini Cholcolat is like a dinner roll with chocolate chips. The bakery has a smaller window display from the street unlike other bakeries we passed by.

Without a doubt THE BEST gelato in Venice, right next to the Redentore water taxi stop, all of their gelatos were very creamy and delicious! Good bang for you buck too, 3 scoop cup was only €3.50
