Have to say, the coffee here is some of the best I've had. We had some gorgeous food here and ther service was friendly and quick. Our only let down was that the cake we had after wasn't quite cooked in the middle so we had to leave some of it. We would still recommend it and we would return.

The best cafe in Cornwall! Fabulous service, incredible cakes, great coffee. They even have a takeaway hatch if you're in a hurry as there is usually a wait for a table. The wait, however, is worth it! The photos are from previous years, so any prices will be out of date.

Came with a family of 4 for breakfast on a weekend, lovely cosy place with great food and coffee. This place is clearly the go-to in the village for breakfast/brunch and given the size of the place you should definitely come early for a table. Service was spectacular too and I believe 3 different ladies there checked in on us, all very attentive.

Was really busy and absolutely deserved to be so. Our pasties and cakes were amazing, my toffee popcorn cheesecake a particular treat and the colleagues were really lovely. If there's a queue then wait, it's totally worth it!!

Only real negative is the cafe has only a small seating area. You can put your name on a queue but peak summer this could be a long wait. We were lucky and only had to wait 20mins. Food, service, etc all fantastic.

Had a really nice and delicious cream tea this afternoon. Quality Darjeeling, warm and fresh scones with quality clotted cream. Service staff was friendly and although a lot of guests were being served not rushed. Can definitely recommend

My daughter and I have been. Known to get up at 6 and travel three hours to get breakfast here (we then will do an impromptu stay in Cornwall)) This week we were in Cornwall anyway so nipped to our favourite brunch spot. The girl on the counter was so friendly and we talked about past dishes. We both had wraps (and shared a half each to get more flavours) they were so tasty with good textures . Too much food, but we got a box to go. Coffee to drink, which was good too. The cafe has seating inside and out the front. It would be a good number but the food is so good it gets full quickly, but dishes are available to go and taking your breakfast to Fistrel to watch the surfers is a definite recommend. So do not be disappointed if no tables it just adds to the experience. The only other comment is bring back the dish with broccoli, egg and cashew sauce ... Best dish ever My photo is from a previous trip not this week, but it will give you an idea.

The food was absolutely delicious perfect for breakfast, lunch or brunch. The food was fresh ,nicely served and plated would definitely recommend this restaurant who wants to chill and relax great for families and friends although it can get busy at times however great service and lovely food.

A very small coffee shop provides brunch service. I don't know if it's because we are busy or something. Anyway, we waited for a long time before ordering. The waiter has been busy serving others. When we ask when we can order, the answer is to sit on the table and wait because we order, which will cause a queue. I don't understand why. In short, I feel discriminated and treated differently. Such coffee shops are everywhere in China. No one will treat customers like this, and the waiters bring water and tableware to all the guests who come later than us.I feel very dissatisfied.

I absolutely loved the pancakes! They were fluffy, perfectly cooked, and the maple syrup was divine. Can’t wait to come back!

A stunning breakfast! Had the chorizo wrap and it was delicious. All washed down with a coconut turmeric latte. Staff were all brilliant and buzzing around. Will definitely be returning here, a morning gem! 💎

Buzzing cafe in Newquay, we had a thoroughly great breakfast and coffee this last weekend. Definitely worth seeking out - highly recommended.

Best coffee I’ve ever had. We came here twice during our 5 day trip to Cornwall. Açai bowl was delicious with a huge helping of peanut butter. Bacon sandwich was amazing. Lovely little spot for a coffee and brunch. Cakes look delicious too

Hands down the best breakfast we’ve ever had, no exaggeration! We came as a family of five plus our dog, and every single plate was a winner. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the bubble and squeak was genuinely the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried a lot!). The kids were in heaven with their blueberry-filled pancakes, light, fluffy, and packed with flavour. It’s rare to find somewhere that nails every element of a breakfast, but this place truly does. Best breakfast in Cornwall without a doubt we’re seriously considering coming back every day of our holiday!

Called in here this morning for a decaf latte. One gent working front of house and one in the kitchen. I complemented the gent on his hard the two of them were working to keep things moving at a good pace. My drink came quickly and it was very nicely made and tasted good. We'll both return another day to enjoy lunch here for sure. Recommended.

Absolutely fantastic. Staff are friendly and accommodating, food is stunning, the cafe itself is really nice to sit inside and has some really nostalgic decoration. Seriously perfect place to have lunch and/or a coffee. Shaun is a really friendly guy who is happy to have a chat about anything, even has his son helping out "keeping him out of trouble". Brilliant place and we will 100% be back!

We really enjoyed a meal here at lunchtime, choosing the Philly Steak sandwich and the Smoked Haddock and Cod Fishcakes (pictured). Both were delicious and good value. Service and atmosphere were excellent, and a special call out to Tina who was running the kitchen on her own! We knew we were into a winner when the people on the table next to us were singing the praises of the food to us just as we arrived! 😁 They weren't wrong!

Very good discovery. We spent only one night (in holiday from France). It was well cooked catch of the day with spinach well presented. Quantity was sufficient and not too much like in other restaurants. Thanks

We have just had a delicious breakfast (2 breakfast muffins) that came out very fast. The drinks were made and delivered to our table in great time too. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome from the minute we walked in the door. Prices are good for the great quality food. We always enjoy the atmosphere in the lounges

Its part of the Lounge chain restaurants, so you know what you are getting. Subject to which of the restaurant locations you are at, the food is consistently good. The atmosphere was slow to quiet, but then it was a week day lunchtime. The welcome & service we could not fault, our drinks & food arrived at our table with no real wait time, we could bot fault the quality of food. Thanks to the team working lunchtime 26/09/25.

Awesome place. Loved the varied menu, so much choice. The restaurant itself was contemporary and pretty cool and chic. Plenty to look at in its design. We liked that you ordered via a QR code and paid that way too. Especially like that it was dog friendly as well.. Even inside. They even gave him a bowl of water when we arrived. The food itself was outstanding. I had sri lankan curry and my wife had lamb cofti flat bread. Wow... Lovely. The strawberry trifle was amazing for pudding! Hard to see how the meal could have been improved. Superb. Thank you.

Had a main meal each here following a show at the Hall For Cornwall. Very nice good value food and great quality. We'll be back.

Possible I caught them at a bad time but when I visited the service was incredibly slow, regardless of whether the order was put through the app or the bar. Food was okay but nothing special. Would not recommend the espresso martini or limoncello spritz, both tasted very artificial.

Times have changed. Upon entering you’re no longer greeted by a happy face, merely a sign propped up on an easel telling you to find your own table. You find your seat, menus already on the table where you’re encouraged to order on the app, the WiFi is terrible and there’s little signal to be found inside so I ended up just ordering at the bar. The lady serving me was lovely it must be mentioned, it was not a burden to take my order and she was happy to do so with a smile, and answered my questions well. (For management she was dark haired with a shaved side, on Monday morning at approximately 10.30, an excellent front of house waitress.) I sat back down and drinks arrived promptly, and then we waited approximately 45mins for our food. The place wasn’t busy, a quarter full at a guess, we couldn’t understand why we were waiting so long. By the time our food had arrived we’d finished our drinks long ago. No warning for the wait was given, and other tables were waiting just as long. We only ordered off the menu, no special requests. The waitress that served us our drinks and food was not quite so happy to be there. Slamming drinks and then the food down with force which was noticeable. When the food did arrive it wasn’t great, it was presented nicely but sadly that was as good as it got, my partners poached eggs tasted strongly of vinegar. My hash browns were over cooked as was the egg. Toast soggy and cold. Sausages were tasty however. Finally we used the toilet facilities before leaving and they were fairly grotty for 11.30 in the morning, the check sheet showed it had been checked but certainly nothing had been done about it. The mirrors were covered in sink splash back and the urinals smelt. I did check to ensure the marks on the mirror wasn’t ‘patina’ such is the decor, and it was not. Overall the only shining light was the waitress who took my order at the bar, I fear this would have been a 1 star if she wasn’t there. We won’t be returning in a hurry. Sorry.

The food was wonderful, well presented and very delicious. The small sooper dooper hot chocolate was a big enough drink and was very delicious aswell as the chocolate powder on top of the cream. The service was great as the food didn’t take long to come although it was quite quiet but it was very quick. The atmosphere was beautiful as the view of the sea and the distant towns and porthminster beach.

I would like to thank the staff at Sunset Surf for their help today. I managed to drop my purse (complete with bank cards),my mobile phone and other items! on the pathway down to the beach. An unidentified member of the public picked the items up and took them to the cafe.I have no way to thank this person but I am immensely grateful for her honesty. The cafe staff kindly contacted the first contact number on my phone ( my goddaughter) living in Florida. My god daughter contacted her father Rob, who in turn contacted me, relating where I could find my precious bank cards! Phew! Thank you everyone. This kind of story restores faith in humanity!! My absolute favourite beach cafe in Cornwall. And I’ve done a few. Welcome is always top notch. The cafe is light. Amazing sea views. Glorious outside seating area. Had fish cake and salad which was superb. Cappuccino was hot. Wine cold. Cannot fault. Make sure you visit when this way.

Nice cafe stop on the HAYLE BEACH to GWITHIAN TOWANS Sw coastal path walk. The restaurant is in the car park at GWITHIAN beach lovely little viewpoint. The cafe was clean and tidy. I ordered the cranberry Brie and Bacon sandwich and a nice bowl of skin on fries. My wife had the traditional cream and jam scones all very tasty. Lovely tea and a black Americano for that much needed caffeine nice and hot good coffee. Very nice staff. Toilet facilities on site are very clean and tidy. The cafe is dog friendly.

Lovely café looking down over the beach. Small but fresh menu. Really enjoyed my dressed crab salad...food presented beautifully and very tasty.

Best little cafe I've ever been too. Great system of doing things, extremely quick service and the friendliest staff I've ever met. Lovely way to refresh the day. Food and drinks were all incredible too.

A sunny spring day and a delicious stack of pancakes. Served by a friendly waitress who was happy to help. There’s not much more to say, very reasonably priced and I’d highly recommend. I would suggest booking as their seating is limited, however we managed to slip in without a booking and got lucky.

The place is beautiful! We ate the best pancakes we have ever had… the flavour combination is unbelievable (we had the yoghurt - granola and compote ones, and the apple and honeycomb ones- with bacon added on the side 😋). I had mine gluten free and you couldn’t taste the difference between them and normal ones 😱. The girls looking after us were super sweet and very helpful. Overall an amazing experience, we really enjoyed it… sadly I forgot to take pictures of the food when it came because it all looked so good we went straight in!!! But here are a few photos we took when we came in and when we left. We will be 100% back next time we are in Cornwall.

We stopped here on our visit to Truro for a quick lunch and we really liked it. They have a small cafe which serves mostly drinks and breakfast, and a take away and lunch shop on the opposite side of the street. We had lunch at the latter, and we enjoyed warm and tasty sandwich and sausage roll, as well as a salad. The man who served us was very welcoming. Very recommended for a lunch at Truro.

Came down from London for a Cornish weekend getaway and couldn’t have been happier with this cafe. Absolutely delicious pastries - the apple pork sausage was a melt-in-the-mouth. So filling and perfectly priced. Coffee was great. If you want to sit down on a weekend recommend booking as there’s not too much seating.

Had a really lovely experience at Bread and Butter! The atmosphere was great, with nice outdoor seating that made it a perfect spot to relax. The staff were super friendly and provided quick, efficient service. I ordered the ham and cheese toastie and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crisp. Definitely a great little spot, I’ll be back for sure!

We've had a very delicious lunch at bread and butter. We've wanted something light including salad and we've found a perfect spot! Very cosy quirky place, well worth eating at.

We used to love coming to Bread and Butter in the little cafe across the street. So we decided to check out the small cafe across the street. OMG sorry, but won't be coming again! £26.80 for 2 sandwiches and 2 very small cups of tea. On the menu board the prices are displayed...BUT in very small letters right at the bottom it states eat in prices will vary. Hmm not good enough, won't be back!

Oh let’s just pop in here… random visit to find a gem. Good location with views. Good food, high standard both with produce used, presentation and flavour. Full English breakfast and a fancy banana break with granola, whipped cream cheese, honeycomb, grain and nuts

This place is an absolute gem! The staff are incredibly friendly, they were so lovely to my corgis, the coffee is fantastic and the menu is inclusive, eclectic and so so yummy. Genuinely the best breakfast I’ve had in years (go for the mushroom carnitas hash!!) and my boys enjoyed their sausages too! Thank you for such a great morning x

lovely setting overlooking Sybliback reservoir. I've had the Full Olive breakfast a couple of times recently. It's not the cheapest but is excellent quality and variety. Very nice home made cakes and the coffee is good. Free dog treats on the counter. A reasonable amount of under cover out side.

The best breakfast as always, with a stunning view. They do amazing homemade cakes and everyone there is so friendly. It's my favourite place 10 minutes from home to visit.

This place was an absolute find on our recent stay nearby. The menu is thoughtfully planned to cater for all, as a vegetarian it was really nice to have a breakfast that had additions like crispy kale and quality vegetarian sausages. The cake counter was packed with a wide variety including crowd pleasers like chocolate brownies through to some more delicate flavour pairings like orange, almond and cardamom cake (which was exceptional). The Decor and overall vibe of the place is laid-back and a nice place to chill by the lake. The staff are all super friendly and love dogs.

Coffee and cake... Now I don't like cinnamon - well so I thought - so I tried a cinnamon bun - fantastic! Also, one of the best coffees I've ever had and my wife's hot chocolate wasn't poweredery. Will go again.

The food and service was great- such a cosy, warm and friendly atmosphere as well. I had the mushroom linguine and my partner had the kangeroo- they were both so good. You also get a complimentary shot of the owners homemade baileys which was so tasty that we bought a big bottle of it to take home with us😍 Definitely recommend!

I had the pleasure of dining at Bush Pepper restaurant in Newquay and it was truly a lovely experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and although they were fully booked and we had no reservation they managed to accommodate us. I had the steak, it was cooked perfectly and my husband (a chef himself) had the sea bass and it went in a matter of minutes!!! I highly recommend paying a visit to Bush Pepper for a culinary experience that will leave you wanting more. Thank you Sam and Maisie for your wonderful service and to the lovely owner who took the time to talk to us and check that we enjoyed everything!!

Gorgeous food! The monkfish was amazing, cooked perfectly! Very reasonably priced. Large portions. Service was a bit slow but helpful with allergies. Thumbs up for the lovely vegan dessert! Definitely book in & visit this restaurant!

Cane upon this restaurant by chance, and it is a winner Tastefully decorated Food is excellent, as is the wine. Service is attentive without being intrusive. Our waitress, Darcy, was a joy. I would strongly recommend that you book in advance as this place is busy. I will certainly be coming back for more 😁 Highly recommended

This place is amazing. We were welcomed by the staff and they were very kind and professional. The place was clean, the service was great and the food was delicious. I have never experienced such a high level customer service in a restaurant in the UK. I asked them for a candle on the pudding for my partner's birthday, and they delivered along with the birthday song. Would 100% recommend visiting and enjoying their delicious food!

We had a good meal at bush pepper. While I would not say that all the food was to our taste but can vouch for its quality and quantity. The service levels were very good. Would still recommend this place for most people.

Superb lunch spot. Visited after doing a circular walk to flushing. Inside was full but we sat on the large outdoor area. Service very friendly, great menu and coffee. We had sausage ciabatta special with chips, high quality ingredients. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

This is one of the nicest cafés in Cornwall, the food is tremendous! The tea and coffee are also great, friendly staff. The cafe's always busy, even on a Sunday.

Consistently great. Lovely staff, coping well with the busy lunchtime. The food and drinks are good - enjoy them outside with marina views if you can. Parking can be tricky on very busy days, but most of the time you can park in the main car park or behind the harbour

Best vegan lunch I've had out! I had an amazing sandwich and my mum had a salad from their vegan menu. So much flavour. We also each had a freshly made smoothie. Would definitely recommend and go back again! Also great views from the seating area.

The food at this cafe is absolutely delicious, but be warned - the flatbreads are HUGE! It could honestly be half the size and still fill you up. I can eat like a horse and struggled to finish the pulled pork flatbread and chips. Great value though, especially as you could easily get 3 meals between 4 people and not be left hungry. The food took about half an hour to come but it was at 12:30. And the girls serving were lovely, smiley and courteous.

Walked in, lovely girls serving and seated us straight away for breakfast. Got served quickly and the food was great (photos included, fruity French toast and count house deluxe) Big portions for the price, definitely recommend.

The Count House Breakfast for two! When you can't decide between sweet or savoury. All cooked to perfection, friendly staff as well. Would like to try their cherry Bakewell French toast next time!

Spectacular view, and the best breakfast ever. 13.50 for enough (top quality) food to sink a small ship, with coffee thrown in. Keep it a secret, and definitely don't tell anyone else. No idea about the quality of the rest of their offerings, because frankly if you do come for breakfast, you won't eat anything else for the remainder of the week. Lovely staff too.

Lovely food, good service, service was as quick as possible considering we dined on a Friday night and it was very busy. Lewis was our server and he was great. The only thing stopping it from being 5 stars was that there were a couple of fruit flies flying around our table for the majority of the meal. This isn’t a super big deal but not that pleasant. There were also no vegan dessert options which was quite disappointing.

This was a home delivery, but the crispy bacon was far from crispy, the tater tots were missing and so was the maple syrup……I won’t be ordering breakfast/brunch from here again.

We went out for my partners birthday and asked our waitress how the buy one main get the second for 30p worked and she wasn't sure on the details, so she went to ask her supervisor and came back explaining the two meals that weren't included and took our order. When we got the bill my partner paid it without noticing we had been overcharged and the offer wasn't applied, so I vlwent to query it and were told there was nothing they could do as you had to ask for it when asking for the bill. This was very disappointing and upsetting as this wasn't explained to us when we asked for information about the offer or throughout the meal, and it ruined the end of the birthday meal for us.

First time eating here using the Groupon deal. The value for money was amazing! Food was very good with an extensive menu including vegetarian options. Amy our server was very nice and nothing was too much trouble. There was a fairly long wait for food, about 40 minutes. The restaurant is well laid out in an American diner theme. Some music playing in the background would have been welcomed. There was no A/C that I could I tell. We did make good use of the menu's as hand held fans!

Enjoyed our visit recently after we went to watch a movie at Vue. I believe the chap who served us was called Alex, friendly guy and was very helpful. Only reason I’ve marked a three for service is the bar always seem to take a long time to get drinks to you. Thank you.

Tried this for the first time last night. Table booked for 5pm as we had tickets for cinema next door at 6.40pm. Ordered food and drinks by 5.05pm, as we pre-looked at menu. At 5.40pm, still waiting, the waitress came up to us and other tables, saying sorry it's slow, it should be soon. At 5.55pm, I asked waitress how much longer as we have tickets booked, she said 5 minutes. Food arrived at 6.10pm. So just over an hour sat waiting for food. We had to rush it, could not order a desert. The staff were friendly, it was clean and a nice atmosphere. The food: This was amazing, 100% best Calzone we have ever had, served with a nice side salad. Perfect size portion, cooked perfectly. I will try again, although never go when I have cinema tickets again as waiting over an hour at this time of day is pathetic. It wasn't busy either, only 1/4 full. maybe short staffed. But given the quality of the food I will go again and give an edit to the review at that time.

Best restaurant we’ve been to in st Ives, lots of choice of small plates. Service was good and food came quickly. Cocktails were very nice and so was the food, everything was presented beautifully. Would highly recommend.

So glad we stopped here! We’ve walked passed so many times along the harbour and always thought it looked like a nice little spot, and boy we were right! It’s not very often you find places that know exactly what they want to achieve, exactly who they are, and the sea room delivers on this with the vibe, food, and everything inbetween! The ambience is perfect, giving the impression of an old seaside pub, but in a modern shell. The food matches this and is honestly gorgeous. The muscles had the best sauce to date, even to the point I had to drink it lol, and the sea bream special was everything you could ever want it to be, crispy skin, flakey flavoursome fish, delicious! Some things on the menu are a little pricey (buratta and broccoli) despite being very tasty, but somethings were well worth the money, almost underpriced! The drinks were equally as lush, with the service being just the right amount of attentive. Please don’t overlook this place like we did for so long, just stop by! Make it a night too, because the deserts were very very tasty

Went for my birthday meal with my lovely missus and didn't have a clue what to order from the menu. Initially I thought it was absolute posh jibberish, but believe me, this place is the proper stuff. Loved it if I could give even more stars I would. This is a definite must for those visiting St ives.

Really cute little bar with some really nice tapas dishes. We sat at the window seats looking out over the beach and felt like we were abroad. Cocktails were lovely and the servers had noted we were on our honeymoon and made a thoroughly appreciated little gesture. Would definitely visit again.

Delicious, well-priced dishes with a beautiful harbour-side view from which to enjoy them from. Decent mix of tapas/bar type meals with wide selection of drinks with daily specials to choose from (too bad we didn’t have space for any dessert!)

First place we head for as soon as we get off the ferry. I'm probably being unfair with the four stars - but neither of us are dog lovers, and it's hard to find a seat without one next to you. That apart, the food is always excellent, and we usually manage to get seats overlooking the beach. Great place to chill out for an hour or so,.

A small, welcoming cafe on the road leading to the main car park in Rock, one of three or four businesses facing on to the Camel Estuary. We went in for just coffee and toasted tea cakes, while another party were tucking in to chilli squid and French fries. The staff were very friendly, the premises were very clean, and there is a conservatory on the front of the premises. The main car park was under construction when we were there a year ago, and is now complete, but the pricing structure appears nonsensical, as illustrated in my associated photo's. We will be very happy to return on next year's holiday.

Arrived at 6pm without a reservation. Whilst tables were booked, faultless friendly staff offered us seating overlooking the estuary, which was lovely in the sun. Drinks order taken and brought out quickly. Equally, good food brought out from the kitchen with minimal wait. The variety of vegetarian options was a joy! The smoothies we had were delicious. The mixed bean chilli nachos were tasty (and huge!), as was the halloumi burger. The kids fish and chips was devoured! A little portion of peas would have been a good addition to the meal. I usually read reviews and rarely post myself. I felt the Blue Tomato Cafe were more than worthy of my time to review.

After looking around for a decent restaurant we had to come here as everywhere else was busy, would you pay £18.50 for fish and chips? If so what would you expect? triple cooked chips, fluffy better, homemade tartar sauce right? Nope here you will get Mc Donald's fries, a questionable frozen fish, and frozen peas in a coffee cup, please think twice coming in.

Nice friendly staff, prices high like everything in this part of the country. Children’s menu very poor!

Lovely place and the young lady who greeted us and then took our order was a real credit to the café. We had a delicious cream tea and from the doggy menu, our pug enjoyed blue tomatoe sausage chunks

We bought a couple of hot dogs from the menu at £6 each. Worst rip off ever. One small frankfurter sausage cut in half in a pathetic bun. Truly shameful.

The venue is a wonderful place to see the waterfront wake up. I arrived for an early breakfast as part of a Source FM 96.1 live broadcast, and the sunrise over the harbour looked spectacular from here. I was greeted by a wonderful team who instantly made me feel welcome, and a delicious breakfast made from local produce. What's not to like! I look forward to going back soon. 🎉😍🌞

We went here for lunch and were blown away. This is definitely our type of place, outstanding quality food and an amazing location. We had oysters to start, my wife had lobster and I had fish of the day. It was as good as it gets and would highly recommend. It’s a ten for us 👍 and it’s dog friendly 🐕

Exceeded all expectations. Great food, simply served, great depth of flavour and some excellent combinations. Great value wine list. We were wonderfully looked after by the delightful Faye. Perfect.

I love this place. The cocktails are absolutely delightful (breakfast mimosa and Bloody Mary 😍) and the brunch vibes are immaculate. Slightly pricey but totally worth it. The waiting staff are really friendly and take pride in real, authentic hospitality. and though it’s been a little on the slow side a few times, i really never mind because everyone is so lovely and I’m distracted by the gorgeous view. The only thing I didn’t enjoy that much was the scallops, the combination of flavours (corn and bacon) didn’t quite hit the spot, though the scallops themselves were delicious. Will definitely return. Always takes me on a nostalgia trip as I used to frequent this place when it was a rickety old student pub called Watermans 😅 unrecognisable now and just stunning.

Had a nice lunch on bank holiday Monday. Welcomed at the entrance by Maitre D. We were seated near the window and had a nice view of the seaside. Lobster lunch with fries and salad was amazing.

This is a very nice seafood restaurant with a wonderful view of the Harbour. The seafood is caught local and was absolutely worth the visit to the restaurant. The scallops were delicious. I recommend visiting this restaurant while in town.

Called in for a diet coke here this afternoon. Sat outside overlooking the river. Guy serving was very friendly and welcoming. Will certainly return for lunch here on our many visits to Falmouth from Redruth. Nice one.

Another lounge, but not as good a visit at this one as we had enjoyed at others. It was somewhat quiet but still a slight wait to be told to find our own seat. Once we had placed our order, the was not much of a delay on food being served. The food was hot & reasonable good, but not he best that we have experienced with the Lounge chain. Maybe this venue was having an off day, so will give this one a miss & try some other establishments instead.

Came here for brunch as a group of five without a reservation. Had a few tables to choose from, including the roof terrace. We were going to sit outside, but because tables aren't cleared there were seagulls on the tables, and we didn't want them pooping on our table/food. Other than that, everything was great, food came out quickly and was very tasty, and it was very easy to order online and customise our orders. Friendly staff, and nice atmosphere. Would come again, and would've given 5 stars if the tables were cleared a bit more promptly.

Favourite place to eat, chill, and to have a dine. Lovely food with very generous staff. The food is worth the wait with a very vibrant ambiance and live music on weekends.

Relaxed place with nice food. I can recommend the chicken and avocado burger which was delicious. Also they have sofas where you can sit pretty relaxed and a nice outdoor outdoors terrace.

We always pop in here when in Newquay. We only had a drink this time. Staff always helpful and friendly. Prices aren’t bad. Good atmosphere and the dogs are allowed. My wife recommends the iced coffee, one of the best she’s ever had.

Found this place during a day out with the little ones. Great pub. Was somewhat quiet due to the time of day so I've had to guestimate what the atmosphere would be like when it's busier so I've given 4 stars for that, everything else gets a 5. Drinks were spot on, as was the service but what we really went in for was a spot of lunch and this is where the review gets a little one-sided because there was a standout star of the show. I've got a weak spot for a fish finger sandwich. I don't know if it's the kid in me refusing to accept that I'm old(ish) or whatever but as soon as I see anything remotely close to a fish finger sandwich on a menu I go back to a time when life was simpler. No bills, no boss, just fun and games. A fish finger sandwich and the A-Team on TV, joyous times. Low and behold, there it was on the menu. A fish goujon sandwich. Not quite Captain Birdseye on boring, white bread but that's cool because I'm older now, my tastes have changed and I'll happily trade paying bills and the other boring stuff of growing up if it means getting a "posh" fish finger sandwich every now and again. I get the simplicity of my childhood and a more mature bite to eat at the same time. The question is, how nice would it be when it arrived on my table..? Good grief, this place pulled something out of the top drawer. Spot on, absolutely spot on! If you like the simplicity and the comfort of piping hot fish between 2 pieces of bread and you're in the vicinity of this place, well, you know what to do..?

Warm relaxed greating, a lovely pint of Proper Job, great ham, home made chips and egg, beautiful lasagna and garlic bread again home made, and Sunday lunch pizza that just shouldn't work but so does! Would highly recommend and visit again.

We just had two roasts, roast turkey for my wife and roast pork for me - and we are absolutely smashed. The food was delicious and we got gigantic portions. And very tasty as well. It was well worth the money. The service was very friendly and helpful and we liked the table on the backside terrace. Highly recommendable!

Absolutely beautiful food - I had fish and chips and both were gorgeous. The childrens burgers are a good size. And my partner had the gamon egg and chips which he left a clean plate. Friendly service and nice music.

A wonderful pub in the quaint Cornish town of Bodmin. Our Impromptu visit occurred on a warm Sunday afternoon when we found ourselves searching for a place to have a late lunch. We had limited options as we had a dog and many places didn’t allow them, luckily for us The Weavers did. We ordered a variety of different dishes and we received our meals quickly. The food was deliciously homemade and no one had anything to complain about. The staff were always checking up on us and even offered to get a bowl of water for the dog. I would add photos of the food but it was gone before any of us thought to get a picture! I would recommend this pub to anyone in the Bodmin area. The best example of a classic British pub, five stars!

We went for the mixed grill….. can’t fault it at all. The steak was cooked to our liking and the portion sizes were very generous. Service by Stacey was quick and pleasant. Highly recommend. Would deffo go back. Well done 👍

Lovely local pub, we stayed at Bodmin jail but wandered into town and found this! The girls at the bar were friendly and welcoming. We sat outside as it was a warm evening and ate our food in the courtyard. The food was delicious and freshly cooked and all served with a smile!

What a wonderful place to stop for a spot of lunch! This place is absolutely gorgeous - near a lovely duck pond and just across the road from a decent sized play area for little ones The food was delicious, and the staff took our dietary needs into account, and suggested appropriate alterations - they were also attentive and friendly the restaurant itself was clean and there was a decent amount of seating both inside and outside Well worth a visit!

Apparently the owner isn’t bothered about this review. Nobody reads reviews anyway! So here is my review that nobody will read anyway… We were at the park and had to get lunch. It was close by so we went in, we’re given a table and served quickly. Told about a wait on food which we were fine with and carried on. The waitress was distracted by an emergency on a nearby table and my son had ordered the ham, cheese and pineapple pizza off the main menu. The cheese and pineapple pizza (which we hadn’t ordered) came out for my son and we assumed ham was hiding under the cheese. It wasn’t. We asked the waitress why there was no ham on the pizza, she bought out a plate of ham!! On leaving, we mentioned to the staff that our child didn’t like the pizza, it wasn’t what we ordered and could we have our £8.95 refunded because 1) it wasn’t what we ordered and 2) it’s a cheese and pineapple pizza! The waitress who took our order said no refund as we hadn’t mentioned anything before, we actually did and that’s why we were delivered a plate of ham! She went to find out from owner and apparently because they’d sold 11 pizzas and had no complaints they wouldn’t give a refund or even a partial refund. I said it wasn’t a complaint about the pizza, it was about not getting what we ordered. Out comes the owner! She said the order was read back to us (it wasn’t due to ongoing emergency on another table) and it’s our fault. Well, it’s not our fault though is it! It was their mess up and we paid for cheese, pineapple and bread (it looked pretty RANK!) and we told them this and she got uptight that I was calling their food rank. Well, if it looks like a duck and it quacks like a duck… Tourist trap. Not looking after locals who keep them going through the cold wet winters. Absolutely diabolical, non existent customer service! The owner is what makes the business and even though the other staff did what they could and agreed with us not getting what we ordered and getting a refund, the owner said no and got aggressive! As soon as she came out the kitchen she was determined to argue instead of talking rationally about it which is shocking as an owner/manager! Anyway, I won’t get a reply to this as “they don’t respond to negative reviews” and again, “nobody reads reviews anyway!”. What an amazing attitude to get by in business in a cost of living crisis. Puts me right off even spending money out on substandard food!

Good food friendly staff located adjacent to nature reserve and Riverside walks. Ice creams a large range. The ramblers lunch incorporates an excellent salad n home made cheese scone. The quiche is full of chunks of ham and mushrooms and home made.

Stopped in for a cream tea. The scone was so soft and warm and very delicious. Nice, easy walk from the heart of Truro along the river allowing life to slow down just a bit.

First time eating at The Mill. Took my elderly mother who loved the menu and enjoyed the prawn sandwich. I had previously called and asked about vegan options and the waitress was extremely helpful and advised me of several options. I had the open mushroom, spinach and vegan cheese sandwich with salad. It was delicious and the same waitress offered me balsamic as a dressing as I was told the regular dressing contained honey. All the waiting staff were friendly and efficient and my mum and I will definitely be returning again soon for a light lunch.

Great place to sit inside and out. Always delicious food. Never fails to disappoint. Would highly recommend booking in advance as they reach full capacity very quickly. Lovely location in malpas.

I was super impressed with this cafe. The food looks amazing! Would love to come back for breakfast and lunch! We had cake and hot drinks. The cakes are to die for, massive slices. We had a slice of the Roulade which was delicious. Service was really quick and efficient too. Prices were good and slightly cheaper than I was expecting.

Excellent cafe/restaurant in a very good Garden Centre. The desserts are made in-house and are fantastic. Very friendly staff team polite and efficient. Thank you, I will be returning.

By far the nicest garden centre cafe in Cornwall, and generally one of the best places to go for lunch too. Food was amazing, prices were very reasonable, quick service, happy staff, a lovely atmosphere in the cafe, comfy seats, in and outdoor seating, great menu and good portions.

Had a wonderful meal here with family. Booked a pod for 6, the staff were so lovely and welcoming. Helpful with orders and any requests. Very polite and friendly manner made for a great atmosphere. Came and took orders and checked in on us throughout our meal. Food was really tasty for all, had ordered various dishes from the menu all happy with what we had. Many empty plates!! Highly impressed with the service and staff, food was just as impressive and delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit… only note to make which isn’t to do with the restaurant but the toilets available are in the garden centre which aren’t the best and could do with improvements. However doesn’t take away from a lovely time had at the potting shed ☺️

Walked by the sign and were drawn in by the decent reviews. Set at the back of a garden centre and in nice surroundings. Coffees were good (Cappuccino, latte and baby chino) while Cornish Breakfast was your pretty standard fry up, tea cake was well ok and the avocado poached eggs were ok. All in all, a decent place to go with very little in walking distance but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return or visit.

Unfortunately, this lunch was quite a disappointment. I ordered the Arkadian Chicken Salad — the chicken was extremely spicy I couldn't eat it all , more like something from an Indian restaurant, which didn’t suit the character of the salad at all and wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the description. We were seated by the window near the entrance, where people waiting in line were staring straight in at our food — it was very uncomfortable. Throughout our visit, no one from the staff came over to check on us or ask if we needed anything. I understand the team might have been busy, but the complete lack of attention made us feel completely ignored. Sadly, this was one of the worst lunches I’ve ever had. I can’t leave a positive review

First time visiting this restaurant in our own village, and I must say we've definitely been missing out. The Sunday roast was amazing, and the atmosphere of the place was outstanding.

We stopped here for breakfast on the last day of our Cornwall trip. There is limited parking right outside, but be careful pulling in and out as it's on a corner, and visibility is restricted due to angle. Unfortunately, when we came, they were out of fruit and many other things and didn't have any sorbets, which was a shame as my son is lactose intolerant, so they are unable to have the milkshakes. We still managed to have a decent breakfast of pancakes, waffles, eggs benedict, and a milkshake for myself. The diner has the classic American diner feel with the jukebox with music playing and 50s memorabilia on the walls. Staff were friendly and helpful and kept very busy with the steady flow of customers that came in while we were there.

Popped in for breakfast! Really great place! American themed, tonnes of choice! Suitable for everyone, plenty of room. Really clean inside and decorated really well! Reasonably priced, good quality good and friendly, fast service! I had eggs benedict which were really good value for money, perfectly cooked eggs! Partner had a large cooked breakfast, sausages were slightly under and pink but overall it was pretty decent for the price! So much menu choice, definately wanna come back to try other dishes! Highly recommend it.

Stopped by for breakfast this morning. I really like American Breakfasts, and a Waffle stack with Bacon and Maple Syrup is pretty damn good. Alao had The Peanut Butter Milkshake. Food waa frwsh, of a good quality and served quickly. Staff very polite. Will certainly be back to try a burger soon.

I was able to order breakfast for collection using just eat. When I got there I found my order was rejected on the app - the staff explained they do not turn on the just eat app orders in the morning. I suspect they need to update their availability settings on just eat. I chose to order again, and was advised of a 20 minute wait. The order took about 40 minuets. The full breakfast was great, but the pictured bacon bap at £3.99 was disappointing.

Great little spot to have food. Food was really nice and good produce. I have only given a 4 star for food as it could do with being a little hotter as some items on the plate could do with being hotter.
