I dined here yesterday for my birthday and had such an amazing experience! The staff were all so accommodating and lovely to talk to, the food quality was amazing and there were so many nice birthday treats. I got given a birthday doughnut and then was asked if I’d like to have a free cocktail master class! The bartender came over to my table and taught me how to make a strawberry daiquiri and mojito. This was such a lovely touch and was something I’d never done before, it really made my birthday feel extra special 🥂

Went here for my birthday and what amazing customer service we had and the little personal touches they made are fantastic. The food was delicious and I definitely recommend the can't decide don't decide platter.

Amazing day. My 50th with the family. Watching the football in the bar until we moved into the restaurant for a lovely meal. Chloe our server was absolutely smashing. Food was excellent too. Little surprise at the end was a nice touch too. Thanks Hickory’s.
Tim H — Google review
The food and service was really great. Nice to find a truly dog friendly restaurant (outside table in a private hut outside under the heaters). We have a nervous dog and James our waiter was very understanding & accommodating and gave her a generous slice of brisket to settle her in! James was very knowledgable and attentive all night.
Louis J — Google review
Wow, what a restaurant! Went for the first time for my friends birthday and it was incredible! We had 3 dogs with us so we were seated in the Kansas hut. It was lovely, spacious and warm! The servers were amazing with the dogs too. Actually, the servers were amazing in general, friendly, accommodating ,fast and reliable. The drinks alone would be reason to come back, I had the raspberry and mint lemonade and it may be a new favourite drink of all time! I also got to try the grape soda and the rum fudge shake, and it turns out all the drinks are amazing! I didn't get to try my partners chocolate shake, cause he finished it in 10 second, so I guess it must've been ok! Then the food, oh my gosh! We did not get many pictures as we took excited to eat! The group had 2 carnivore platters, a Smoked Tennessee Brisket Sub and a southern fried chicken burger. The dishes came quickly and tasted so incredible! Everything from the meat to the pickles on the side were so tasty! Not surprisingly, we didn't have space for dessert, but I ordered the cookie creation anyway. Wow! Gooey and delicious, the sides were so good! For the group it was around £140 with service included, which is such great value. I can't wait to go back, been scanning the brunch menu already 🫣
Abi F — Google review
Absolutely fantastic service! We waited at the bar before getting a table as we preferred not to sit at the long table infront of the kitchen. Waited less than 10 minutes with no reservation. I asked about ingredients in the cocktails as a medication interaction makes some dangerous for me. They handled it perfectly making sure there was extra precautions in place in the kitchen and bar to make sure it was safe for me to have. I know this is a lot of work as I have worked in food service however the manager handling this was amazing. The food was very good. It was a great date night. It's worth the price definitely! Would recommend especially if you have allergies or intolerances as they are taken very seriously! All of my dishes and drinks came with allergy flags to make sure it was safe. Wosh I had more pictures!!!
Christina S — Google review
Fantastic! A small delay on table but that's to be expected as it was a Saturday & super busy. The new guy on the bar - what a champ! Cocktails were delicious and service was quick, and the guy he was working with, cracking team. The young lady who took our food order, patience of a saint and nailed it! We had a really good time. We will come back.

The Dutch Pancake House & Conwy Water Gardens is a delightful destination situated at the beginning of the Conwy Valley, just off the road leading into the Snowdonia mountains. It offers a variety of attractions including a pancake house, nature trail, aquatic center, and fishing opportunities. The restaurant within the serene setting of the water gardens presents an extensive selection of 65 different pancakes to choose from. Visitors praise the friendly staff, quick service, and ample parking.
Had a great time at the Dutch Pancake House! The pancake was super tasty—nice and crispy on the edges with loads of flavor. Loved the mix of veggies on it. Chill vibes and friendly staff too. Would definitely come back for another round!
Chaitanya K — Google review
Delicious gluten free pancakes, had the stretchy quality of a real pancake and tasted amazing! We had a medium savoury dutch topped pancake (photo) which was so tasty, took a walk around the little nature trail and fed the ducks and chickens which you can buy bags of food for from the aquatic shop, then went back for a sweet dutch pancake with hot cherries and cream! The lady serving and the chef were so friendly and we had a great experience. She mentioned if they have a coeliac or wheat allergy request they shut down the kitchen to do that order which was very nice to hear. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often!
Xkerrywrx — Google review
Lovely food, lovely welcome. Went for birthday lunch with my daughters and granddaughters. It was both my daughters' birthdays and the staff put a little candle on their food. Lovely touch. Highly recommend 👌 👍 Staff are always nice and welcoming and there is lots of variety on the menu and they do gluten free as well. Superb

Iam Dutch. I have lived in the area since 2001 and have never actually been inside the pancake house as Iam not a pancake fan, but today I had a delicious pancake and so did my friend. The atmosphere was great with very friendly staff serving and looking after us. Really lovely restaurant.
Neil G — Google review
Pancakes were delicious, absolutely perfect and five stars. The people there were very nice too, just incredibly slow service, nearly an hour for the two pancakes, so if you're going allow plenty of time, and then it's lovely. Lots of tables were reserved, but no one there, and then people turned away. So recommend booking in advance to be sure.
Karen D — Google review
This pancake house has a reputation heard for miles so had to check it out. Wasn't dissapointed, this is a great place to visit. I was on holiday, this was miles out from where I stayed but it was worth it. Plenty of parking out front. Lovely walk through the water gardens and finally onto the pancakes. Service was great, staff were friendly, lots of choice on the menu, pancakes arrived quickly. All good stuff. Price was a bit steep when you consider its only pancakes. The experience was worth it 👌🏻
Brad N — Google review
Never disappointed in the last 30+ years of visiting The Dutch Pancake House. The chocolate and coconut rocks!

I guess it is personal taste and what you choose but I did not enjoy my pancake. My son enjoyed his huge ice-cream sundae. The staff are absolutely lovely . So friendly and attentive. It is nice strolling round the nature trail and looking round the aquarium.

Dylan's Llandudno is a must-visit for those seeking a delightful dining experience with stunning views. Housed in the former Washington Hotel, this restaurant offers a bar and dining area downstairs, while upstairs features a cocktail bar and a spacious dining room with an impressive arched ceiling. The outdoor terrace provides an ideal spot for enjoying summer drinks. The establishment prides itself on celebrating local produce and the natural beauty of North Wales.
It was the best food experience! Molly served us and she was so amiable and helped us with the birthday request. The food was also top notch. Definitely recommending this place:)
Mallika — Google review
Great location. Nice food. Was a chilly day so bit chilly inside the restaurant. Wasn't very busy so service was good. Friendly staff. Been here before & would visit again. No fish & chips on menu but lots of other tasty dishes. Amazing double cooked chips.
Julie “ — Google review
Great dining environment and friendly services. Food was excellent and reasonably priced, we loved their seafood mussels and seafood pasta. Their beef dripping chips were amazing, crispy outside and fluffy inside!
Emma — Google review
Visited tempted by the selection of vegetarian options which sounded a bit different than elsewhere. Unfortunately they were a bit underwhelming. The Poke Bowl was a big rip-off costing almost £18; was expecting a big portion with lots of tasty toppings, and in reality it was a very small heap of rice with toppings many of which lacked in flavour, only real source of protein was a handful of edamame beans… The rarebit pizza was nice enough but seemed to be made from a parbaked crust with very wet pizza sauce. Overall had higher expectations considering the price tag.
Zuzanna W — Google review
It was very quiet when we went for a sharing brunch. Due to being early and in Nov. However service was great and food lovely. The location is superb with lovely views of the sea and in a wonderful building. Only gave three stars for atmosphere as we the only ones there so of course that impacts it.
Harriet G — Google review
We popped in looking for some food and even though we weren’t hotel guests, they had no trouble accommodating us. The service was quick. My partner ordered a hamburger - it wasn’t exquisite, but it was OK. I had the Thai curry, which was delicious, though quite spicy. Overall I’d recommend this place as the food overall was good and reasonably priced. They also have a separate dog friendly area which is great.
A — Google review
We ate at the Conwy location and absolutely loved it! The mixed salad and mackerel starter were perfect. My husband had the hake, and I had the seafood stew — honestly, the best I’ve ever had. The bread that came with it was just as delicious. We loved it so much, we came back for lunch twice and dinner once. A must-visit!
Mimi — Google review
Excellent service, nice ambience, very good quality food and plenty of it. We called in for a light lunch but were tempted to choose a more substantial meal and ended up very full! We will definitely revisit.

If you find yourself in Rhosneigr, make sure to stop by Mojo's, a beloved dining spot that has been delighting locals and visitors alike since 2005. Now in its third generation of ownership, this charming eatery offers a diverse menu featuring everything from their renowned crepes and galettes to hearty dishes inspired by global cuisines. Whether you're craving a late lunch of Chicken and Mushroom Tagliatelle or a classic Club Sandwich, the flavors are sure to impress.
I’ve have been a couple of times with my daughter. The staff are very attentive and the food is delicious. We had the pancakes which my daughter loved! Then I also came on a Sunday and tried their amazing roast dinners - would highly recommend.
Sarah W — Google review
The food was nice and the location is lovely, especially if you sit outside in the sunshine. Dog friendly too if you have dogs. We visited in the late afternoon midweek, so it was quiet. Had to rate the service lower because we were sat waiting for 20 minutes to be served, then when we did ask were told they'd be over but then were still waiting, so in total it took 30 minutes just to order a drink! Once we ordered, food arrived quick but would have been nice to have offered sauces etc. We went inside to pay the bill rather than waiting as others seemed to and it was quicker. So I'd say lovely food and great location, but the service wasn't great - so just keep that in mind!
Louise C — Google review
Feels like a family-run restaurant with a warm, welcoming vibe. Dog-friendly, which is always a plus. I had the seafood linguine – it was tasty, and the scallops were fresh. However, the mussels had quite a bit of sand in them, which was a bit off-putting. That said, overall still a place I'd recommend.
Macky M — Google review
Brilliant little place to have light lunch. We visited this place two days in a row as I was so impressed with the buckwheat pancake with smoked salmon! We had breakfast in surf cafe at 9am but came here for lunch. Not many tables inside but the food is lovely prepared and served quickly.
Mule — Google review
First and foremost we were very grateful to Mojo’s staff for opening up in the evening for just our 4 people reservation. Personal service, good quality tasty food… sea bass and steak burger…followed by toffee/apple crumble with a very pleasant ambience. Much appreciated much enjoyed by all.
Dai D — Google review
We called in for lunch, what a lovely place, the staff were friendly and the service was great. We tried the steak and blue cheese galette it was delicious. We would defo recommend Mojo's
Tracy C — Google review
We went for dinner and had an absolutely delicious meal and lovely service. My partner is coeliac and there were many gluten free options, including the option to swap out pasta for GF pasta.

We went to Mojo’s after an exhilarating walk on the beach with our boxer dog. It was exactly what we needed, very friendly staff who provided us with a wonderful breakfast including a plate of sausages for our dog. Very reasonably priced too. We will definitely go back the next time that we are in Anglesey. Thanks ladies for the advice on the local(ish) butcher.

Nestled in the charming town of Conwy, Parisella's Ice Cream Parlour is a delightful destination for ice cream lovers. This beloved spot artfully blends Welsh ingredients with Italian flair, offering an impressive selection of flavors that cater to every palate. Whether you’re indulging in a classic cone or trying their delectable crepes topped with fresh fruit, each treat promises quality and taste.
a group of seven of us came in with 7 minutes to closing because we were so desperate for ice cream- and wow. just wow! not only was the employee so kind and helpful with our questions about the flavors, but the ice cream itself was insanely good. it was a light, creamy flavor that i don’t think anywhere else can replicate. i got a honeycomb one (with actual chunks of honey, so good!) and biscoff (not too overly sweet at all!) this place is a must go!
Julia P — Google review
Very expensive (£11.50!!) for a dry crepe (I had trouble cutting it) and the smallest amount of Nutella they could get away with. Absolutely awful and would not recommend going there.
Rachael W — Google review
The flavours were OK, we had Bounty, Raspberry swirl and Cheesecake. We would have preferred the Raspberry as a sorbet. Quite pricey, but portions are generous. We ordered cups with two flavours each and got two scoops per flavour. Which was nice but would have been a lot nicer if we could have had 4 flavours for that amount of ice cream.
Mijanou — Google review
The ice cream was super tasty and when a seagull stole my ice cream she gave me one for free ! We are free flavours and absolutely delicious. Recommended flavour: strawberry cheesecake
George K — Google review
Visited here today at 3.30 4th sep. Bigger girl behind the counter dark hair, I asked for a waffle cone, she put the ice cream on the cheapest cones, I explained to her that I asked for the waffle cone, she had to be shown which one that was which is fine, I wasn't patronising or rude but she actually huffed and sighed that she had to change the cone. Not really a big deal is it. So rude and miserable, the ice cream cost me nearly £6. Teach your staff to be friendly especially at an ince parlour in a tourist spot!
Melly P — Google review
A full 5 stars for ice cream, waffles and tea. The waffles were probably the best I've ever had, warm, soft in the middle, served with brilliant ice cream and cream. The chunky money was the best. Super friendly staff too, with a great cup of tea. Simply the best experience.
Peter T — Google review
Oh my, what an ice cream! We like our ice cream but wow did this place delivers. It has to be some of the creamiest I've had. Salted caramel, White Chocolate Crunch, lemon curd and mango all highly recommend
Will G — Google review
My partner had the pistachio and I had the mint choc chip. The pistachio was average at best and the mint choc chip was a standard with a few chocolate chips in it. The establishment looks really nice but just disappointed with the quality of the ice creams for the price

Known for its inviting atmosphere, this cafe offers an impressive selection of breakfast options, including mouthwatering pancake specials and hearty vegetarian dishes. Wonderful little stop for lunch on the way through the north coast of Wales. The service was excellent, even offering a few nice spots to visit in and around Llanberis. Food was 10/10 freshly cooked and the atmosphere was a relaxed environment. Reasonably priced.

The lady who served us was lovely, although rushed off her feet with customers, which made the wait time for a drink slightly longer than average. The food was gorgeous! I would definitely recommend. Shame we don't live closer, I'd eat here all the time.

Very good food and friendly staff. Little bit of a wait for food to come but it's because it's cooked fresh to order and the quality is worth the wait. There is outdoor seating but the glass roof makes the indoor dining area very bright and open as well. Very good experience.

Came here for a quick breakfast before visiting Gwrych Castle. Found this cafe after a Google search. The food was delicious, we ordered 1 vegetarian breakfast and 1 Roots breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place. I also had a fresh lemon and ginger tea and they actually used fresh lemon and ginger which not a lot places do. The vegetarian sausages were really tasty. Service was fast and friendly :)
Trina B — Google review
Good quality food freshly cooked to order, for those whingeing about the wait in their reviews. Good food takes time. Cheerful and friendly staff. I had a BLT with sourdough. It was absolutely delicious. The bacon was thick cut and perfectly cooked. Not your frazzled, pre cooked microwaved offering. The coffee is really good quality and I'm fussy about coffee. Bright, spotlessly clean and airy cafe, with parking and outdoor seating. I will definitely return. Highly recommend and I'm trying the breakfast next time
Ruth E — Google review
Paid £36 for two english breakfasts we waited 45 minutes for , the cafe wasn't busy! I got the green smoothie which I couldn't drink as it tasted like a swamp just to mention i usually love green smoothies and the mug which I had my tea in smelt like a dirty dishwasher. Feel like I've wasted money going to roots cafe 😪

Green Olive is a charming vegan restaurant located in Menai Bridge, Anglesey. The cafe offers a menu filled with delicious plant-based comfort food, including sandwiches, soups, and salads. Open from 9 am to 5 pm, it's the perfect spot for a pit stop lunch or a healthy breakfast before starting your day. Run by Olive, the cafe is known for its fantastic cruelty-free meals and excellent coffee.
Arguably my favourite cafe in Wales- I go out of my way to come here every time I'm on Anglesey. The kindest, most attentive staff with magical energy and a real passion for their work (and the latte art of dreams!). All plant-based, which is perfect for me, but even the most die-hard carnivore will find this place charming. Huge well done to all the staff.

Green Olive Cafe in Menai Bridge is a gem! The food was fresh and flavorful, with plenty of healthy and vegan options. I had vegan blueberry pancakes which was lip smacking, perfect level of sweetness. The coffee was excellent, and the staff were super friendly. Lovely atmosphere – perfect for a relaxed breakfast or lunch. Highly recommend!

AMAZING! Staff and chef are so friendly! He chatted to us through the hatch, wow what a lovely bunch of people, and also a beautiful cafe with delicious drinks/coffee and also the food! We are both vegan so have been to many vegan cafes but this one definitely wins! The breakfast was delicious, the scones (absolute must!) are THE best scones I've ever had vegan or not! Comes with all the trimmings and we took some cakes to go which were also yummy! Next time we're in north Wales we will come back, don't hesitate go here and support a small locally run business! 🙏🏽☺️

Absolutely fantastic place! We came for lunch one afternoon on holiday and ended up coming back for 2 more meals on other days as it was so delicious. The food is such high quality, and well considered with seasonings etc. There is tonnes to choose from which is such a treat when you're a vegan in Wales ;) My favourite was the avo on toast which came with lots of lovingly prepared accessories like grilled tomatoes and mushrooms, pumpkin seeds and sumac. The cakes are also out of this world & we had loads of options to choose from. Thankyou to all the lovely staff too who were so professional, efficient and friendly. You made us feel very welcome! Wish we had a place like this on our doorstep in Manchester! A little gem of a place. Will not hesitate to come back again.

Big shout out out to Sophie and Holly who were so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble even for a gluten free person. Everything is vegan and the food/portions are exceptional. Will definitely return as ths was the best meal we had in Wales.
Child C — Google review
A meal isn’t a meal unless there is some form of meat on my plate, so I thought…But wow! I may have just become a Vegan 😆 We ordered the cauliflower soup with sourdough bread…brilliant! A side of ‘Bacon’ chilli jam fries and even though it obviously wasn’t bacon, they tasted amazing. Flat white coffe was as good as I’ve had too. I’d highly recommend this place whether vegan or not.
Matthew W — Google review
My husband and I shared a sandwich and some small plates. The food was amazing and the staff were extremely friendly. They even made an extra special coffee for us as we were on our honeymoon. We will definitely be returning to try more items off the menu. Favourite meal of our trip!!! (We just wish it was closer to home!)

We had the duck (vegan) loaded fries and the chicken (vegan) salad. I think the chicken was seitan, but way tastier than the one I'd had before. I can't remember what drink I had but I remember thinking that it was nothing like the name implied. Still a great experience, although more expensive than for your typical cafe in the area.

Scoops Artisan Ice Cream & Dutch Pancakes is a family run ice cream parlour in the heart of Caernarfon, serving up homemade ice cream and Dutch pancakes with all sorts of different toppings. The food is savoury, sweet and vegetarian, and was recommended to us when we were next in Caernarfon - we're so glad we went!
Craving for ice cream when passing by this beautiful street and couldn’t stop myself when found Scoops. Very nice place and amazing pancakes smell just pushing you to grab it but I already had my lunch so leave it for next time. Really enjoyed white chocolate special which was particularly good. Also dog friendly and plenty of seatings.

Excellent pancake shop with a brilliant range of options, lovely atmosphere (indoor and outdoor seating). Brilliant value, especially the kids menu which included a pancake, drink, and ice cream. Great gluten free options available.

When visiting Caernarfon, we stopped by and had an ice cream as they looked amazing. We are so glad we did. It was absolutely gorgeous. They have different/unique flavours comparing to other places, and they were really good. The prices are quite reasonable as well. We spot other places selling ice cream and none looked as good as this one. If you are in the area, you should try it

Plenty of ice cream & smoothie options, very friendly staff who will let you try some of the unique flavours. Great selections of vegan friendly ones and also a doggy mint ice cream and treats on the side. Sadly no seating as it was a rainy day, so I can’t comment on the decor. I enjoyed the raspberry sorbet and the pineapple smoothie.

We visited the cafe 27th of August, myself, My husband and my son. When we arrived, the cafe was pretty busy. It was advised that we could reserve the next vacant table and come back in 10/15 minutes and that was exactly what we did. On arrival we were seated, ordered our drinks and were advised there would be a 30 minute wait if we ordered pancakes. I was happy to be advised of the waiting time and for us the wait was no problem. The pancakes were really good (savoury), worth the wait, my only disappointment was not having enough room left for a sweet pancake! The main reason for the review was to give credit to the lovely staff, they were brilliant, hard working, informative, helpful and really friendly, nothing was to much trouble. It makes all the difference to be made to feel welcome. It's small and popular cafe, so, where possible, a bit of flexibility doesn't go a miss. Thanks again xx

Food was outstanding. We loved it. Did feel it was quite expensive for 1 pancake. There did not seem to be enough staff to run the restaurant with the amount of customers there were. It looked like everyone was run off their feet and just to busy to focus on customer service. We had to wait 40+ minutes for a pancake each. It was like they were not equipped to deal with larger groups arriving.

Stopped here for an ice-cream passing by and it was lovely! The girl who served us was so friendly and attentive, she checked the flavours I wanted for me to check they were gluten free before I ordered which I really appreciated! Brilliant ice-cream and lovely atmosphere, thank you!

Pancakes were very nice but quite pricey for what you get. Lots of flavours, sweet or savoury. Seating in front and garden room. In front lots of seagulls so beware. Lots of people sitting eating ice cream cones not eating or drinking otherwise. Looks like it closed at 4 and they were trying to clear up when still eating. Signs weren't clear that they were due to close.

From classic combinations like ham and cheese to adventurous options such as mascarpone cheese with cranberry or ginger jam dusted with icing sugar, the menu offers something for everyone. While indulging in these delectable treats, you can also enjoy a cup of coffee that many locals rave about.
I LOVED this place when I lived in Bangor as a student. I came here often with friends and even on my graduation day with my parents. The crepes were always amazing and I also tried the waffles. The staff and owners are lovely people! I miss coming here and if I will ever come back to Bangor this is going to be one of my first stops!

Absolutely wonderful place for breakfast. I love the savoury options. And to be honest, considering how reasonably priced they are, I can't complain. The bad reviews are from people that expect to be greeted with big smiles etc... but end of the day, none of the owners are rude. They are perfectly polite and to the point. It isn't a restaurant, it is more of a takeaway so I'm unsure of what people expect!

Coffee and crepes were excellent here! A generous portion size and a lot of very good options. Thoroughly recommend going on an empty stomach or ordering one to share.

The hours on Google Maps were incorrect. I drove all the way here only to find out you were closed. Please keep your online hours updated to save others from the same frustration.
