I usually don’t write reviews, let alone be negative about a place. The staff here are working hard, they’re friendly, and they’re doing their best. But honestly, I don’t know where this place gets its high star reviews from. First of all, I don’t mind simple dishes, but I had a €30 beef dish that was just beef with arugula. The good part was really well prepared, but the rest had way too many tendons. It was supposed to come with Parmesan, but they forgot it but they forgot that until we were already finished. (😄) Another table sent their dish back because they found it too salty. I personally thought it was a bit salty, but not too salty for my taste. Another table returned their schnitzel because it wasn’t cooked properly—we could see from our table that it was pink inside. You don’t want that with pork. My wife’s spaghetti was mostly just spaghetti, a few cherry tomato skins, and a lot of olive oil. They only serve unbranded beer and nameless wine. You can only choose between red or white… I’ve never seen that before. At least state what kind of wine your one and only house wine is. Furthermore, I can’t blame the waiters and waitresses for being inexperienced, but I do blame their boss for not training them properly and sending them out alone. You don’t get wine glasses with your wine unless you ask for them. And when you do, they bring one red and one white wine glass for your carafe of red wine, so you have to ask for the correct glass again. I found it all really mediocre, especially for an Italian restaurant, and we were back € 86.

A wonderful place to enjoy food and views. Very good quality meals and reasonable prices. The total price for lunch for two people with wine and water was 58 euros.

Loved the place and the service but the food was a bit under par. We had some gnocchi with ragu where the gnocchi overwhelmed everything, some eggs with potatoes and the egg whites were not cooked and some of the potatoes the same. The goulash was good. Loved the local fruit juice

Absolutely delicious food! The meat was high quality and perfectly cooked, the dumplings were really tasty, and the cake was simply amazing. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

After seeing the sign board during a walk around Lake Misurina, we decided to try the restaurant for dinner. It's a nice walk up the hill through the farm (and say hello to the cows, whose milk produced the cheese you are about to eat) , but if you don't like uphill walks, you can drive up as well, and there is parking available near the stalls. It's a farm, so watch where you step on the trail. The dining area was not crowded, and the service was very friendly. We ordered a platter of cheeses and cured meats, which was beautifully presented, and tasted wonderful. The beef stew with salad and polenta, which I had as the main course was cooked to perfection. The desserts were made with fresh ingredients. The home made juices were amazing - the hot blueberry juice is a must try. There are toilet facilities available. I paid cash, and I am not sure if credit card or EC card facilities are available. Adjacent to the restaurant is a shop where you can buy cheese, sausage, and honey from the farm.

The best steak I’ve had in Italy! 😋 It was a special menu item — I asked after showing them a photo from Google Maps. Can’t wait to go back and eat it again tomorrow.

One of the best restaurant I ever had and definitely the best we have had during our Italy trip. Tried the beef tongue, pork cheek, gnocchi and lagsana. Food was soooo good and fresh, we went back for lunch and dinner in the same day. Desserts was divine too. Very good service and friendly staff too. Very reasonable pricing considering how fresh and good the food is.

White wine wasn't good but food and service were great. 99% recommended. Small parking space and adventure road to get there but if you've been to the Dolomites you'll be used to it. Great experience! Reserve a table before going there.

To be honest I didn't like it. The food and wine are ordinary, not tasty, like in an ordinary canteen, nothing special. I was not satisfied with the food and the attitude of the staff. I was in this restaurant with my small dog, which weighs 2 kg, and I was not allowed to hold my dog in my arms, they said that I can only leave my dog under the table. I had to leave my dog in the car for a while. I think that this is not a correct attitude towards me and my dog. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Dined here for the New Year’s eve menu and it was really excellent. The menu was really varied, with great quality local ingredients. Highlights were the crostini and lardo, rotolo, rabbit, persimmon and hazelnut beignet. Generous portions with the wine flowing from the attentive and friendly staff. Worth the trek!

Probably the best soup I ever had in my life! Dish name: Pasta e Fasòi Price: €. 9,50 The soup with typical “Lamòn” beans, homemade large Tagliatelle,cooked with bacon, rosemary and plenty of celery, served with ground black pepper and extra virgin olive oil. Just wow! We stopped here after we finished the hike at Tre Cime (if you are coming back on the main road it’s somewhere on the middle). If you have the chance, just stop and try one of their dishes! The view is also amazing. Absolutely wow! A+

Stopped here on the walk down from the top. It started raining, we were soaking wet, and the warm food was exactly what we needed. Truly amazing food, and the atmosphere and location were divine. Loved it.

We came across this restaurant as we were going up to Tre Cime and decided to stop on the way back. I liked the food and the atmosphere was also great. The interior is impressive. However, the only served a sunset of what's on the original menu and was a bit pricey for the quality. Some of my friends did not like their meals but when I tasted them I did.

Cute place with excellent dishes, friendly staff. Booking is recommended in the high season. Great advantage is that is after the parking area, so you can eventually come down from the top of the mountain, have lunch and then go back to the top without paying twice the access.

Mamma Mia! It was snowing when we were there so we stopped by the restaurant enroute hiking to Tre Cime de Lavaredo car park. The service was great and the food was delicious! We had porcini tagliatelle and trio stuffed pasta. Too bad their business was affected by the closed roads!

We took a nice walk around the lake then stopped for lunch at Pizzeria Edelweiss. We both had the margherita pizza. Not the best I’ve had in Europe but still good. We sat outside and the view of the lake and surrounding mountains was spectacular. The staff was busy but accommodating and friendly. Worth the stop.

More than a pizzeria, this is a great place right next to the water. We enjoyed the alpine feel of the restaurant, and the food was really good. I enjoyed their special of Canederli made with spinach and ricotta with caramelized onions. Delicious. Amazing potatoes "a Cadore," made with onions, speck, and spices. Our attentive waiter and friendly atmosphere made this a treat.

Went there at 7.30 on Saturday thought there was no queue but there was. You’ll need to ask for the ticket (queue) inside and wait. We waited around 15 minutes and got the table for two. We read some reviews and ordered Capriolo Con Funghi E Polenta which we expected beef fillet with potatoes but since the picture in the review is inaccurate, we got something else instead but it was totally fine because we also had a second thought on that dish too. Another dish we ordered was pizza (Primavera). The dishes were served quite fast. We didn’t really wait long after we ordered. Service is great (service charge of 1.5 euro per person). All staff are lovely! Tasted good too.

Efficient. As seen in my photos there was a line at 6:30 for opening. We came back to a larger queue around 6:55 but luckily we found a seat. We were seated at 7:05. Ordered by 7:10 Got our Pizzas at 7:20 and left by 7:30 Very efficient. The pizza was tasty. The service was excellent. So good when there were so many people to serve. I do wish they checked on us at some point as I would have loved some chilli oil but in the end it was not needed and I understand when it was clearly super busy. The rushed feel maybe the reason why I rushed eating.

Ate here twice during our stay and everything was delicious! Tried pizza and the pasta & both were delicious. Try to get there close to 7 or before or else you’ll have to wait. Service is very fast though. I wouldn’t recommend the tiramisu though, it wasn’t a traditional one, was made with cake I think with nuts and whipped cream, it was not good at all.

Me and my wife had pizzas and we ordered fries for our child. Nothing special, but since many restaurants are closed at this time of year (end of September–October), we were happy that we could order food and fill our stomachs. The waiters noticed our child and brought a high chair for him. Do pay attention to the opening hours before going to the restaurant! Good value for money.

There was no pizza available today, but whether pasta, vegetable soup and sausage prok and deer was wonderful. Make sure to save room for dessert. The strudel and almond cake were delicious.

Unfortunately, this restaurant is not a welcoming hospitality spot with famous Italian food and atmosphere. It feels more like a place focused on making money from tourists who will likely return only because there isn’t much competition in town. The food is good but nothing special compared to other places I’ve visited in Italy. The service starts off friendly but quickly declines when more guests arrive. I don’t entirely blame the staff, as having only two people running the whole restaurant is simply unrealistic. On our first evening, when we asked for the bill, we were told "OK," but no one ever returned. It became clear we had to go to the bar and pay ourselves (after waiting for half an hour and searching for some attention... )Mistakes happen, so we gave it another chance the next evening. Unfortunately, it turned out that having only two staff members is their norm. After receiving our food, no one checked in to see if we wanted more drinks or were interested in dessert after the main course. Overall, it was a very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience.

You have to go down the stairs by the sign to find it! It's good for a quick bite to eat. The food our party had was quite good on the whole. The seating however is quite uncomfortable being hard bench type seating. 2.5 Euro cover charge. Refuses to after you tap water, like most Italian restaurants.

This looked like a great place to stop for food and drink but the service was very poor. We initially sat outside and staff passed us without acknowledging us. We then went inside to be served and no one acknowledged us either, we ended up leaving. We came at lunch time and inside looked busy. Others were also in our position and left without acknowledgment too. We would have happily waited for drink/food if someone would have told us how to be served or explained it was busy and they were not accepting any more orders.

We got food swiftly after we had ordered and it turned out to be delicious. The view from the restaurant is beautiful and the whole experience could have been really pleasant if it hadn’t been for the rude waitress. From my observations she was acting out on all the customers she has been serving. The rest of the waiters was really nice tho.

Horrible experience in the restaurant we went to restaurant to have dinner. First of all it took a long time for someone to come and take the order. After having our dinner which was moderate, we requested the person to bring the menu for desert. The waiter brings the menu and tells us not to spoil the menu card. It was very rude and he was not even apologetic. On top of this they charged 9 Euros as service charge. just got out of the restaurant after paying deciding never to return to this restaurant.

So the place is okay, very nice location to sit down and have some food after the hike with a nice view. Food wise it’s decent, they have quite a selection of pizzas available. The big problem with this restaurant is the staff that work there. I come from hospitality background and I can say that the level of hospitality here was horrible. The staff seem to be very unhappy ( can’t tell if it’s because they work there or they don’t like people coming to sit down and eat their food ). They snap at you if you ask them for a table. They never smile and the menu is just thrown on your table. They will not check up on you if you need something else or if the food was okay. I think this place would be really good if they changed the attitude of their staff. So don’t get shocked if you come here and feel unwelcome.

The food here is very good. Great ingredients with good portions and tasty. The cakes are great too, some cakes have alcohol in em. Nice.

We went to the restaurant for dinner, and we politely asked a server if we could be seated. The server very rudely said no we’re full. We then asked how long the wait is, and the server again very rudely said I don’t know. A little while later the server came back and extremely ill tempered snarled “I said it’s full I don’t know how long”. This is extremely rude and unwarranted, as we were merely tourists trying to get some dinner. Very unhappy after this unpleasant incident and I don’t know what was wrong with that waitress. There were other servers around at the time, one appearing to be a manager, but they watched and didn’t say anything.

Only went here for the food and came back for more. The food is yummy, the bears are great and find the service totally OK. For some people it might get some used to that you cannot make reservations nor get takeout. Not a problem for us. 😁

After a long 7 mile hike, my husband & I ended up here for a bite to eat. First of all, the service was phenomenal. Our waiter was incredibly kind, helpful & accommodating & made us feel right at home immediately. The atmosphere of the outdoor eating area was gorgeous with the panoramic Mountain View’s. The food was absolutely delicious & tasted like it was cooked with love & intention. If there is anything you take from this review, you HAVE to order the apple strudel!!! My husband & I ordered another after having the first.. an exceptional dessert, the flavors are crave-worthy & it melts in your mouth!!!

We did reserve two seats ahead of time so we didn’t wait for a table. The service was very friendly -family vibe. The star of the night was the food, gnocchi with ragu were phenomenal (best ragu i have ever eaten), ravioli with smoked ricotta, bacon and onion were also very good only the portion was smaller than the gnocchi. The pork leg with polenta was also very good, the meat just fell off the bone, I mean come on!!! 🤩 All praises!

Absolutely loved this place! The ingredients were incredibly fresh and full of flavor, and you could really tell the quality in every bite. The portions were generous and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which made the whole experience even better. Nice restaurant with good ambiance. Ideal after a long hike - staff was very friendly and welcoming and also fast, we received some compliments from the chef. Good price quality. Regional fish tastes simply amazing. Starter from bacon is a pure delicacy. Would definitely visit if I ever pass by. Whoever is interested there is an optician store with beautiful glasses frames from the producer. There are not so many places to sit outside but we visited when it was raining so we happily sat inside.

We just stopped by Condicicne on a whim, and what an incredible surprise! The food was absolutely outstanding—each dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right, but Condicicne truly delivered. A hidden gem worth discovering!

Amazing place to stay, that you can’t miss. Rooms are super clean and with great mountain views (near the street so a bit noisy, but not such disturbing). The food at the restaurant very fresh and delicious, the atmosphere so quite and relaxing. You can also buy local made cheeses at reasonable prices. The best were the breakfast with various options of meat, pastry and cheese and fresh made eggs and pancakes.

Don't know why the rating is so low, we almost didn't go because of it, and we would have made a big mistake. The food was very good and the service as well.

Everything about this restaurant is perfect. The Mountain View, the service and ambience, and especially the food. We had the tortellini, spaghetti with shrimp tartar, grilled octopus and cornbread, were all extremely delicious. The chocolate sphere desert was also very delicious. This place really surprised us. Randomly chose restaurant to have dinner. Very cost and unique atmosphere. Staff is super friendly. We had 2 starters : pera al gorgonzola and tortello burrata fritti, everyone got different dish , mine was grilled octopus with Mediterranean flavors and it was delicious. Food looked like a piece of art. Everything is paired with amazing choice of wines. Every penny spent here is more than worth it . Definitely recommend.

Service was very hesitant to serve my family. They were similing towards others and grimacing towards us. They refused to give as a card and insisted to look at menu outside. I don’t now why. Maybe they don’t like children. Maybe they don’t like foreigners. In the end we left without eating there. Sad experience.

Hotel has free parking area, and nice indoor pool and wide food/wine selection Sauna requires reservation and it is charged separately; in another hand access is exclusive and it worths the price. Close to the hotel there is a small village, where everything is at walking distance. Rooms are clean, while decoration is a bit outdated.

Heaven on earth. Getting to this place is quite a feat. However it's totally worth it.

A beautiful place in all the ways. We didn’t plan to stop here, but thankfully a rainstorm drove us inside. We were made to feel at home even in our dripping wet clothes and muddy boots, and even though the kitchen had closed. We got to meet the friendly owner, Federico, taste the housemade flavored grappa, and eat a delicious pannacotta. Next time I’ll actually plan to stop here — when the kitchen is open — so I can stay for longer and eat more!

It’s a beautiful place but the food is absolutely horrible. We ordered guanciale di maiale and spezzatino di cervo which were NOT tender at all. To make things worse, they served them in a deep dish which makes it impossible to slice the meat. It was difficult to eat. The contorno of patate was burnt. I mean, how can you serve something burnt? Staff never even asked if we are finding things okay, even at the point of paying for the meal usually you get asked if everything went well, but in this place nothing. No soul in service and the food is terrible. This place can be sooo much more with the right chef and people.

My wife and I hiked the tre cime di lavaredo loop nearby. We looked at restaurants near lake misurina, Malga Popena was a short drive which was well worth it. The inside is airy w/ a lot of blond wood and alpine decor. The food was amazing. We had a cheese course as an appetizer then their pasta. Pictured is the view out of the window.

We stayed here for the night in our camper van with our dogs, it was so lovely & friendly! It’s free parking for the evening. We missed evening meals unfortunately but we had breakfast here & bought some fresh eggs. The staff were lovely, really welcoming, nice to talk to & it’s a beautiful location. Will definitely come back.

This place is open for breakfast! We came here after a morning hike and had some eggs and pastries. The lady serving us was very friendly. She also spoke English and German and had menus in both. The outdoor seating area is beautiful with plenty of tables. The whole restaurant and bathroom is wheelchair accessible! Plenty of parking, and it is free. Great spot for breakfast or lunch with a view!

To be real, the food is looking good in the reviews, but the time of closing is deceiving. We planed our whole day to come and eat their our lunch at 16, when we arrived at 16 , they told us the kitchen is closing at 15:30 top. Update your google in accordance to your services. I will add and say that they are very nice, we give 3 stars so maybe they will understand that this is not ok.

We've been several times, usually get light snacks or apple strudel and drinks.

Fantastic Pizza and Desserts Came here one evening with friends for dinner. They were very busy but we managed to get a place for the group. The place was pretty lively and crowded, with many waiting for their takeaway orders. There were also quite a number dining in on this weekday night. The pizzas were brilliant. They were thin crust and were therefore bursting with taste. The salad was also great. These came with various bottles of sauces to go along with the food. However, what really stood out were the desserts. The first was a fluffy chocolate and the other was a vanilla ice cream meringue cake. Both were exquisite. Top marks for the cakes. Service was quick and attentive once we got a place to sit. They were patient to explain about dishes we were not sure about. The atmosphere was lively. Furnishings were good. I would be really happy to come again for the great food at reasonable prices.

Best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Went back two nights in a row. We were lucky enough to walk in but every night they had to turn away walk ins because they had so many reservations booked. That’s how good it is. You will not regret it!

Chips are cooked in a shared fryer so you risk cross contamination. Very few restaurants have offered so little. The waitress was excellent. The pizza looked good. I was jealous. The semifreddo was excellent. I had the chips and salad for dinner. Didn't get sick. Thanks for opening at 6pm.

I rarely review pizzerias, there are simply too many in Italy and they are often average at best, but this place was spectacular, and quite possibly the best pizza we've had in Italy. We had Buongustaia, Sorapis and Gorgonzola&Speck, and all three were so juicy and flavorful, and perfectly crispy! We were seated as soon as we arrived although we didn't have a reservation - and the place was already packed! - and served within minutes.

Waited 20 minutes to be seated behind a man paying (which is fine). Next thing we know a duo of elderly men cut in front and asked to sit down, which they got seated shortly after. We drove half an hour to get here because i saw a picture of the gnocchi and i just had to have it ! For our entire trip we did not find a restaurant that had both good service and good food. Beautiful place in the heart of Dolomiti. Wonderful home-made dishes that are of the highest quality and one of the best I have had in Italy overall (have been living here and gastro-travelling around a lot). Quick and lovely service and a great pint of beer on top as a bonus! And make sure you also enjoy their homemade desserts that are wonderful 🥰 Spent 2 days in their camping and was having breakfast, lunch and dinner there and I would come back here just for the food itself! 🤤🤤❤️

Great cozy restaurant for post hike meal! We came here for dinner and breakfast and both were great. Dinner has a small selection of dishes, some vegetarian options. As a group of four we got to try a lot of the dishes and they were all excellent. It was perfect meals following a hike! Breakfast was a small buffet with a small selection. Hard cooked eggs, cheeses, sliced meats, yogurt, bread, musli, jams and bread. There were also beautiful post cards made by one of the servers. Parking was easy and free for the restaurant. Definitely recommend stopping here!
