What a magical winery! You are literally right in the middle of the city and all of a sudden there's the winery grounds. It's beautiful. The tour is fun and informative plus you get a nice tasting of their wines. They recently opened up a new bar area or champagne tasting room as well. The birds and wildlife on the grounds are fabulous, many even have their own names. If you're in Santiago, definitely make the hour or so trip to visit. It's worth it.

We attended the opening night event at this vineyard and were given a tour of the cellars. Stunning venue. Beautiful setting. Has an impressive bar lined with wine bottles. On the tour of the cellars they have a room where you can smell all the aromas in wine seperately. The cellar tour is very high tech but probably appeals more to the younger crowd. This cellar is famous for their Casillero del Diablo wine. We had a wonderful evening!

Our visit to Viña Concha y Toro was an unforgettable experience—the vineyard itself is breathtaking, the tour was informative, and the wine tastings were absolutely top-tier. That said, our day started on the wrong foot thanks to the trio of ticketing ladies at the entrance, who seemed personally offended by our presence. They were painfully slow, clearly confused by their own computer system, and lacked even a shred of enthusiasm or basic courtesy. It was as if customer service had been stomped out like a bad grape. Thankfully, the rest of the staff and the vineyard’s charm more than made up for that awkward, quite irritating interaction. 4/5 stars due to tour guide Felipe absolutely crushing the tour. He is an asset to that business.

Romina the sommelier gave us the Marques tasting, it was fantastic! She explained everything that even a novice like me could follow along with!

Overall experience is pretty bad. We took Cellar Collection tour (120k CLP ~120 USD). The wines were good, some were outstanding (5 in cellar collection degustation, 4 in regular one). Guide and sommelier were friendly and professional. BUT: the dinner in Bodega 1883, that we bought online (50k CLP ~ 50 USD online), was awful. All 3 courses were bad, 1 glass of wine was terrible (it seems it was most basic one. In the winery for 50 bucks!). The cherry on top: elixir cassilero del diablo (Porto wine type) online is 30k CLP per glass and on-site is 20k CLP. Anyways the elixir is pretty weak Porto and not worth 120 USD per bottle.

This is the best visitor experience at a vineyard I’ve been to anywhere in the world. They have invested heavily in an excellent audio visual experience that takes you through the winemaking process. It really is first class. And it’s with paying for the higher end food and tasting options- again, exceptional quality. There’s some stuffiness about Concho y Toro for being ‘commercial’ but this experience reinforces their credentials as serious quality producers

If you’re into wine or just looking for something to do, this place is totally worth it! If you’re in Santiago, you need to check out this Viña, it’s an easy trip from the city. Beautiful, with lush vineyards and stunning views. The guided tour was fun and informative, even share some cool stories, like the legend of the “Casillero del Diablo.” Im not a wine fan, but everyone was excited about the wine tasting! We got to try several varieties. The staff was friendly and made the experience even better. They have a restaurant and nice gift shop if you want to bring some bottles home.

Large steakhouse/grill that brews their own beer. Food was good, decor is very rustic, service was friendly and helpful. Large place with many different seating areas. The main indoor room has a grill in the middle where you can watch them cool the steak. The steak was a little undercooked from what I enjoy and the cut itself had some pretty rough pieces but the meat and flavor were still good. Only got to try one of their beers, the Kolsch, pretty standard taste, went well with the food.

Great place to enjoy with family and friends. With a lot of options to enjoy of Chilean typical food and Parrilladas. They offer a self made beer and some good dink options. This place have a huge place to walk around and to enjoy some activities with kids also. It will be great that the service was a bit quicker and attentive. But overall a really good option in Pirque.

The place is super authentic, rustic and cosy. Amazing music playing, the staff super friendly and experienced. They allowed the dog inside the restaurant which was hugely appreciated (rare in Chile!). The food was okay however rather boring. I wished for a bit more seasoning and ingenuity. We ordered the beef steak medium cooked and first got it completely overcooked, complained and then got it bloody (too raw). The potatoes, vegetables and the "Chilean Salat" were completely uninspired, the tomatoes tasted like nothing. The olive oil on the table was probably the worst olive oil I have ever tasted. The Pebre was tasty and the house wine "La Vaquita" was a huge surprise and exquisite! Overall a good experience, only some moderate homework to do in the kitchen.

The rooms are so sophisticatedly decorated and we got a bottle of champagne as a welcome drink. The breakfast is more than you can imagine but we didn't have dinner here but sounds amazing. The grounds in the morning are so peaceful to walk around and especially to the palace which is beautiful too. The only thing that was a little strange was there is a bar in the Palace which is open from 10pm-2am. The bar staff were great with cocktails but the interior and music was very off. They both gave off more of a student bar rather than a high end designed bar to match the hotel. Drinks were nice but just didn't make me want to stay and I'm pretty sure not many people stayed for more than one drink.

This place is about 45 mins drive from Santiago. The place is amazing. So quiet and peaceful. Stayed two nights and everything was perfect. Keep in mind, if you don't have a car then the only food available is the food in the restaurant (which is amazing!) But pricey. It adds up pretty quickly so you'd want to keep that in mind. We had an incredible stay!! Felt like we were visiting family. Carlos and Paz went out of their way to accommodate us and made our last days in Chile absolutely perfect. The wine barrel room was perfect and although the restaurant/communal area was a bit dated we felt it added to the experience.

I am very picky about hotels and stays. This spa hotel is the GEM. We came for a winery tour at Alyan. It’s 5 km away to avoid driving tipsy. Hotel reps offered us bikes to commute back and forth with a lock. Arranged a late after hour wet sauna session. Take a room with a jacuzzi on 2nd floor. It’s a blast! You see stars at night.
