Such a good ice cream shop with a crazy amount of flavours and massive outdoor area to sit in. Friendly staff and you are able to taste flavours before buying. I went for the banana choc + snickers. 40k for a cone/small cup which is slightly higher than average price. Recommend a stop here if you have a sweet tooth like me :)

Already came here twice and I must say the gelato is not too sugary and so creamy. So many variations to choose from which is unique to make me come back wanting to try more flavors. One of the best gelato I have tried so far and the staffs are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about that ice cream pair are the best!

Several flavours are available here!! You must first pay at the counter and bring the reciept to the gelato side to choose your flavours. Small entitles you to 2 flavours which is a great thing and they let you try as well if you have doubts about which flavours to choose from. Delce flavour was abit sweet for me but stolll really good and snickers was top notch

I live in the neighbourhood so I come with my husband few times a month for a long time, but today will be my last visit because I had an extremely unpleasant experience. I ordered the caramel flavor and Hokey Pokey which was my go-to, however the caramel was bitter and tasted burnt. I spoke to a staff who didn’t speak English and she referred me the a seemingly more senior staff that does, and he told me “of course it’s bitter it’s salted caramel”. 1)No, salted caramel should not be bitter 2)It is only listed as caramel 3)It’s not my first caramel gelato in Gusto (or anywhere in this world really) and to have the audacity to say how salted caramel should be bitter is just mind blowing. 4)He didn’t even bother checking the taste himself to confirm whether it was normal and just assumed he knows better. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I hope the company sees what lack of training and problem solving skills in staff could cost you.

this place sells gelato. the small cup, which you can order up to two different flavors, costs 40k rupiah. you need to pay it first to the cashier, then you give the receipt to the staff who pick the gelato. they have many flavors of gelato from milk based flavor, chocolate, to the fruit ones. they can give you a sample of the flavor before you decide which one you want to order. personally, i like the dulce di lecce. it uses milk as the base flavor. what i like about this gelato is that it's not too sweet. it's creamy, and not too watery. they have indoor and outdoor areas to dine in.

Tried Gusto Gelato. So many unique flavors to choose from, and the gelato itself is rich, creamy, and not overly sweet, just right. The place can get busy, but the service is fast and friendly. Great spot to cool down in Bali.

Fantastic food and service! The croissants were wonderful and so was the cappuccino. I loved the breakfast sandwich on ciabatta. The veggie pizza was yummy too. Got a box of delicious treats to take home too😌 a must stop for breakfast or lunch when in Seminyak!!

There were not much people eating the moment I was there but there were two foreigners eating a few tables from me. At the beginning everything was fine, but both of our tables wanted to pay and leave almost at the same time. We both wanted to pay with card and they brought the device to the foreigner’s table for them to tap their card and pay but when I told the same waitress that we wanted to pay using card she told us to just go to the cashier. So the foreigners can pay at their table and get better service while we had to go to the cashier to pay?? I asked the waiter why we were treated differently and they immediately brought the device to my table too. Still… different level of service for Indonesians and foreigners?? Will never come back!!!

Bali Bakery is a legendary cafe in Denpasar which is still my favorite to this day. The menu is all delicious. I also like the cakes and cookies. The service is friendly and the parking lot is quite spacious. This place is suitable for meeting friends or business colleagues and eating with family.

***Flat White Tidak Bagus*** Stopped by Bali Bakery yesterday. Ordered a single shot Flat White. I asked Barista to make it a bit hotter. When it arrived it was possibly the worst coffee I have ever tasted in my life. It was like a badly expressed coffee, that tasted like filtered coffee with some badly steamed milk. I had one sip and talked to Barista. I explained to him again that I wanted a Flat White, like a cappuccino, so he tried again. The second FW was the same, slightly hotter, but terrible taste. Either the coffee machine hadn't been cleaned, or he hasn't got the grind right, or he doesn't know how to steam the milk. I'm surprised the person, I won't call him a Barista, would even give this to customer. A Flat White is very hard to make. The person here who made the coffee, really has no idea how to make an Expresso coffee. He needs retraining immediately. But I'm feeling hes not going to be a Barista. I ordered eggs Benedict. The croissant was a bit stale, egg ok. Mushrooms ok, salad had spicy taste , not to my liking. I ordered carrot juice with ginger and lime instead of drinking the coffee. Staff were friendly. The young waitress with glasses was very nice.

Very interesting take on ice cream. They produce all their flavours with coconut milk (which makes them vegan) as a result of being the local produce. I love coconut. Having a Mango Coconut ice cream was a tasteful experience. The ice cream taste different because of the coconut milk. I’ll recommend it for people looking for a tasty ice cream to cool off from the warm Balinese weather.

I love this vegan ice cream chain, but at this address there is no place to sit, only a bench outside and everything would be fine, but there is a smell of sewage outside. So I did not get 100% pleasure from this experience.

I've walked past this business a number of times now and each time, it's been busy with around 5 staff working at all times, got me thinking this must be a very successful business venture and put it on the agenda to try in my time in Bali. So I go in, and greeted by the friendly member of staff, who took me to my table/seat. She gave me a menu, I ordered the crepe with Nutella & banana, as that's my favourite. When it arrived, it did NOT disappoint at all, as making crepes isn't exactly that sophisticated, so long as you get the key ingredients and consistency correct, they also use Nutella chocolate, not some cheap third party brand. This cost 65k (at time of writing). I was satisfied, couldn't find a reason to take any points away. They serve take away by ordering from the window outside. No doubt this type of business isn't exactly affordable for the locals on minimum salary, and is specifically opened here for tourists who can enjoy crepes at prices significantly lower than in their home country's. I went there again today (which reminded me why I should write this review). This time I ordered the hazelnut crepe, which has Nutella chocolate sauce with broken hazelnut, and some other white sauce, which went very well with the chocolate sauce. This second visit is a mere reminder of why I loved this place the first time I went there, and definately deserves the 5 stars I'm giving it. I got into a brief conversation with a member of staff, and they explained, the business is owned by the same people that own the Italian restaurant across the road (Italian Way), and the Greek one further down name Ithica. So this is a chain, by a large investor, who's created a number of jobs for the locals in the area, and providing high quality service to tourists, salute to them.

Have walked past this cute little place a few times this week and we decided on a whim "sure why not, let's grab a crepe" the moment we stepped inside i noticed the young ladies face behind the register display this annoyed look like, ohh great.. a customer! She doesn't step out from behind the stand up register to offer us a seat or menu so we go and find ourselves a table and chairs. Finally she comes out and over to us and we ask if they have a high chair for our 18 month old which she says no. She then tells us "They only accept card payments".. wait, she was standing behind a register? What the hell is the point of a register if you dont even take cash? Who doesn't take cash!? Shocked we stand up and just go well no thanks then and leave.. I'd swear she knew this would be the outcome and was nore then happy to shoe away any potential customers... If you own this cafe and are reading this.. save your business and fire your wait staff and rectify this card only rule in a country that is rife with bank card fraud.. Disgraceful..

Amazing crepes and the best affogato in Bali. Such a friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. The owner is on hand to make sure what’s served is top notch. Became our nightly way to finish the day .

Staff completely disinterested and food quality fallen off a cliff. What was once a meticulously maintained store is literally falling apart with lack of maintenance and water damage. I absolutely adore coming to Biku for their afternoon high tea. I come here at least once a month to rewind, relax and have a pleasant afternoon treat. Their high tea selection is so comforting and all their drinks, tea or otherwise, are perfect. The atmosphere is super calming and wonderfully decorated as a traditional joglo. I prefer sitting outside and enjoying their always perfectly sunlit outdoor area. Unlike other high tea places, you don't need to make a reservation in advance and you can just show up as and when you feel like which I appreciate since I don't have to make a booking as I usually do.

We had a superb local lunch at this spot. Our family enjoyed great food, a beautiful setting, and very friendly staff, especially Nia and Ulain. The cocktails are awesome, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. This place is definitely a must-visit to experience the genuine Balinese vibe. They also serve other foods, such as delicious sandwiches, a high tea style menu, and vegetarian options.

Such a gorgeous place to enjoy lunch & afternoon tea. The tea menu is wide with so many incredible choices. The afternoon tea is a delicious mix of sweet & savoury & so fresh. One of the reasons I always come to Biku on my visits to Bali as they use serve using Royal Doulton’s Old Country Roses. This was my dear friend Liz’s signature chinaware & coming to Biku always makes me think of her & how much she would have loved it there. The staff are that perfect blend of professional & friendly. The carrot cake is amazing & perfect to take away. The colonial architecture is another bonus.

DISCLAIMER: This review is for the Biku restaurant at Ngurah Rai Airport (since it's not on Gmap yet). Picked this restaurant as it seemed to provide more dishes & varieties in the menu. I was so delighted to find they have garlic butter baramundi, with veggies and rice on the side. I chose to skip the rice and instead ordered french fries. They were PERFECT. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. Didn't have to wait too long and waiters were attentive (despite the place being a bit crowded). Bonus: and they have scones too!! Will surely try to go back to this resto the next time I visit Bali.

They looked delicious so we had two to take out, but they were only put in a single brown bag and we weren’t told that they would melt. We walked back to our hotel and lo and behold, one of the bars wasn’t completely covered in chocolate and the nut filling just melted like jam all over inside the paper bag. Cafe really needs to rethink their takeout packaging, have servers explain to customers that their bars actually melt, or just not let customers take whatever food might horribly melt to go. The food is still absolutely delicious and the portions are really generous. The coffee & match were also delightful. The juice & smoothie selection was great, sad I didn’t have room to try!

It looks small from outside but when you enter inside, you will amaze with the interior design. It is so instagram able. Many variations of croissants and the prices are not for everyone but it depends on your lifestyle. The croissants were reheated and not flaky as I imagined. For me, once is enough ☺️

The croissants (cheese and almond) were below average and they tasted like they were not fresh. We ordered ice latte and iced creme brulee latte and they both were below average. The ice latte tastes like milk with very small amount of coffee and the iced creme brulee latte doesn’t taste creme brulee. The place looks aesthetically very pleasing but the croissants and coffee quality are below average.

The dining area in the back is very nice and a nice unassuming surprise for any visitors. Apple chausson and plain croissant are my favourite go to’s every time I am here. I’m a very basic person - I’ll judge a bakery by their croissant 😂 and Monsieur Spoon’s are some of the best in Bali. I recently tried the Crème Brûlée latte - I have to say though I wasn’t impressed. I expected at least a hint of custard flavour in there, and it shouldn’t be hard to get a nice crisp burnt sugar glaze on top but it was unfortunately a miserable failure. It tasted just like a regular latte but cost more.

One of my favorite places to dine and bring guests. Always breath-taking as you walk in. A great variety of dishes and drinks. I have been here many times. But why only 4 stars today then? Because I was embarrassed today when my guests commented on how dirty the place was. And I then really noticed. The mirrors were cleaned, but smudged all over. The outside glass so dirty the view was cloudy (ok - a bit of unusual rain this “dry season”), the roof above us had mess ready to fall on us - either termites or mold. But the deal breaker was when my female guests reported on their toilet. They said it was so dirty, smelly, and there was no toilet paper at all. I was embarrassed. I had spoken so highly about this place. These are easy fixes. Please do a deep clean to restore the ambiance once again, and to match the great food you offer. And we will then be back.

A self service yogurt place. The location is great, the service was okay, but I am sorry yhat I’m not a fan of their yogurt. The white one (I forgot the name, if I am not mistaken it’s the vanilla one) was the best flavour of all. But the other flavours tasted so artificial on my palate which I dont prefer ☹️ But thats okay, at least I picked one best flavour for me and I was with a friend who loves it and he finished all mine so there was no waste 😊 Not every flavour is yogurt, some are soft serve but they do put information on each of the machine. Lots of choices for the topping.

A little froyo spot in the middle of kayu aya, recommended for those looking for a cool place to cool down and enjoy a sweet treat. Decent frozen yoghurt with a variety of flavors from plain, pineapple, avocado, chocolate, melon and yuzu. My personal favourite is the avocado-chocolate swirl & plain tart. Price is Rp 24,000 per 100 gr and my bill came about Rp 74,880 for 312gr.

Similar concept to Australia’s Yo-Chi but definitely not as delicious. Flavours of yoghurt really sour & didn’t sit well with someone with mild lactose intolerance. Beware the add ons. You turn the compartments & a whole heap pours out no matter how hard you try to control it. Good business for them as it’s charged by weight! Tried & wouldn’t go back personally.

The actual rating is 2.5. If you’re looking for good pastry and cake, this is definitely the place to go, but unfortunately everything else falls apart besides the cakes. There were 2 different spaces in the bakery, with the one in the back being less aesthetically pleasing, more warm, and more cramped. When we came , there had been a huge party booking all the tables in the front, so we were relegated to the back. This felt like paying the same price for an inferior experience. When we first came, there’s only one staff doing everything, from welcoming to serving cakes to making drinks, making payments, answering questions, and moving table set ups. As you can expect, the whole thing is chaotic and unpleasant. There were no clear queue lines, so people can jump in and out without the staff noticing or keeping track who’s who. I felt like I was jumped off the line twice. I don’t know who’s wrong or who’s right, but the weird queue lines made me wait longer than I should have. Also, as the sun was coming down, the place in the back, especially the one near the glass doors, were becoming very very hot and too bright to be comfortable. The whole ambiance is actually very nice. I like the smell and the vibe of the place, maybe this is just not my lucky day.

Interesting dessert place! Cakes and tea tastes good, vibe is chill although a bit noisy on the outdoor seating, but it’s not a major problem. Staff’s real friendly as well. They also have home sets like candles and diffusers from their own brand. Parking is not a problem. Overall a pleasant visit! Will def come back

Cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting: 5/5. SO tasty! Raspberry lychee lemonade: 5/5. Very refreshing, not super sweet (just how I like). Vibe/aura: really cute inside, chill tunes, nice smells. Love the plants outside. Stumbled upon this cute little pastry shop right around the corner from my villa. It’s unassuming from the outside, a bit hidden and easy to miss. I went when it opened and was pleasantly surprised by the vibe inside. Candles, oils, and ceramics available for purchase. There’s a little garden in the front with semi-secluded outdoor seating as well as plenty of indoor seating.

As a dessert lover, I wouldn’t miss reviewing Yamuna. I have been a constant cake customer to this place since 2020. Their cakes are amazing, rich, decadent. Some variants taste too much, some just decent, some others are amazing. I love their Russian black fudge the most. When in need of a gooey chocolatey cake, that is the first thing that comes to mind. Oh, and they sell the best tea variants from TWG! A perfect company for your dessert.

This place is a hidden gem in Bali for dessert lovers! The Es Teler Cake is absolutely addictive and worth every bite. Plus, they offer a wide selection of TWG teas. The interior is super cozy. Don't be fooled from the outside because it's like closed, just go inside 😄

wow.. this might be the best cake shop i've ever been to. bravo! and thank you for the cake flavor recommendations. i got take away but the ambience was intimate and lovely. very friendly and quick service. would highly recommend and I am definitely going back 👌✨i went for the famous klepon cake but ended up leaving with an extra slice of es telor cake, mocha nougat cake, and a cookie as well. hehe

Enjoyed the gelato here served in a generous medium serving with three flavours. The flavours are limited but exciting nonetheless. I chose a scoop each of stracietalla, gianduja and pistachio. All tasted rich and creamy. Cost me only IDR 56000 which is a steal. Try this for sure.

My favourite gelato shop in Bali! I’ve tried most of the flavours and they’re awesome. My go-to order is the sirsak (soursop) flavour. It’s refreshing and perfect for Bali sunny weather. Very reasonable pricing and they work well with a cafe next door that will let you sit down and enjoy your ice cream while you order some coffee.

This one always been my favorite gelato since the first time I tried it. For the first timer, you cannot go wrong with pistachio or peanut butter flavor, very recommended!

Excellent gelato that just felt fresh, natural and delicious. The gelato didn’t appear to have any artificial colors, tasted rich and was creamy. The staff here are wonderful and portions generous. It was so good, my daughters and I returned twice to try different flavors. They rotate offerings regularly and had some fun choices like panna cota and chocolate coffee. Valet scooter parking is available and while seating is limited we always got seating for four both times we went. Staff were very generous and offered tastings before purchase. A really great gelato spot in the area and worth the trek.

We celebrated our family Esther together here, we satisfied beyond measure with the main course, high tea set and dessert. The price lil bit over price but you will get high quality for every food in menu.

Another spot for a high tea in Bali. I must say the interior is a bit girly for me but having that asides, the pastries are just the best! A set of tea and cakes for 2 people for 250k was worth on what we paid for. Presumably with the same price you can get 2 teapots at the other teashop in Seminyak instead of only one at this place. Sandwiches and cakes were made with love as I enjoyed every bite. I noticed a small error on the t-shirt your employees had to wear on the day I visited, the word 'fabulous' spelled wrong 🙄 Would love to come back for the cakes aye!

Lemon meringue tart is super yummy at 45,000! The shop owner offered sample tasting for lemon tart, chocolate tart, and 1 more that i couldn’t remember. Macaron was a bit pricy at 30,000.

A cake shop near Nury’s. We ordered 2 cakes and 2 cupcakes. Service is good. However the cake is not so nice. Perhaps being displayed under the sun for entire day affect its quality.

The staffs are very kind And the food is fantastic. Especially the homemade fluffy pancake is the best and you can have the salad together. The fresh fruit is very juicy. Dropped by for brunch on a weekend and it was pretty packed. Highly recommended to make reservations beforehand. Excellent variety of pastries, all of it looked so amazing! 🤤 Food-wise, good options of western and fusion meals as well as some local dishes. However, could only try the breakfast menu as it wasnt time for the lunch menu yet. The brioche bun big breakfast was definitely unique, and portion was huge. Smoothie bowls were fresh and flavourful. The croissant sandwich was light and flakey, filling was good as well. The breakfast bagel was nice but avocado mash was slightly under seasoned. Both of these came with a side salad. Drinks tasted good as well. Overall definitely a pretty nice cafe to visit. Parking is super duper hard so best to opt for a Grab to get here. They also sell merch like notebooks, bottles, etc at the cafe so can check those out for a nice gift or such. Wait staff were incredibly warm and polite, food was also served considerably fast.

Loved this place! We stopped for a coffee, smoothie, and muffin and were instantly impressed. The coffee is top-tier, the smoothie was refreshing, and the muffin was deliciously fresh. The atmosphere is what really sells it a beautiful, plant filled space that's both stylish and relaxing. Seeing other plates come out, it's clear we need to come back for a proper breakfast next time.

We came here for breakfast and tried The Bakers Scrambled Egg Croissant Sausage Shakshuka Hot Hazelnut Latte Cappuccinos Chicken & Shrimp Spring Rolls Choco Almond Caramel Pistachio Madeleine Original Oxtail soup Mixed rice (Nasi kampung) Everything was amazing but the star for me was definitely the Bakers Egg Croissant perfectly done and so delicious. Their coffee and lattes were also top notch smooth and full of flavor. Everything felt fresh, and the croissants were easily some of the best Ive had. Big kudos to the staff very humble, welcoming and the service was fast. It’s the kind of place you can sit for hours enjoying the vibe and food. Will be coming back to try more dishes and spend more time here

The place is really nice and cute, good place to chill and read without being disturbed. Maybe cuz I was sitting outside in a corner but I didn’t actually get served after being seated for 30 mins… Loved the coffee, the eggs were great (bread a tad soggy but tbh that happens with avo toast) needed a bit more salt, the pain suisse was warmed which was so nice but could be more moist and flavourful. Overall cute just needs a lil bit more but definitely recommend for a coffee ☕️ 😌

Comfy ambiance with delicious food, well presented. Jazzy music sometimes buy always kind and professional service. It can get a bit loud in the afternoon, but you have outside and inside seating options. The long Americano coffee is a tasty deal. Some of the tables are quite large, good for laptops, but a little high too.

Went there a few times during my recent trip. I enjoyed a chilled vibe by the sea. Staff was very pleasant. Food was nice apart from sweet potato chips. They had no taste and was not pleasant to bite. Had to return it. But other than that their smoothies are delicious and granola bowls were amazing

This was one of our favourite places to eat during our time in Sanur. It is in a lovely quiet part of the beach, you can sit inside under cover or on the sand. Eating a meal with an ocean view felt very special! The food was great (we loved the healthy breakfast and the potato chunks) and service very friendly.

The genius cafe became our canteen in Sanur, by far the most welcoming place in all of Sanur for food and drinks either for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff is simply awesome, the food in good quantity and with outstanding quality for a very affordable price.

Wow! So glad I picked Genius for my 1st meal in Bali! Very fresh, healthy and delicious tasting ginger lemon fish and a dragon fruit smoothie. I highly recommend this dish. It’s a thick white fish served with potatoes, bok choy, spinach, avocado and just full of flavor. Also the staff are great, music is fantastic and you can sit inside or out on the beach. This is the best place in Sanur for me because: 1. I had my first lunch in town here!🤗 2. The dishes are well-cooked and the portions are generous. Everything is honestly fresh and delicious. 3. You might meet some small, friendly stray dogs here — they behave very gently. By the way, the check is more than affordable. PS The coffee here is also exceptional. There are always different kinds of cakes and ice cream on the menu.✌️ Didn't I mention the marvellous sea view?

Even though I have been visiting Bali for many years, I just visited Barbacoa, which has been open for the past 11 years - thats quite an achievement in a culinary ecosystem where doors open and close often in tight succession. The experience at Barbacoa was delightful: the architecture, decor, ambience, spaciousness, textures, lighting, hues, and ambient lighting are quite outstanding without being ostentatious in any way. The outdoor patio is enchanting as well and offers a welcomed break from being in airconditioned interiors. The dishes are delectable and well presented. What really stood out: - Ms Okta: Welcoming, hospitable, knowledgeable, professional, polished, helpful, and very pleasantly cheerful - a true ambassador of Barbacoa who really stands out. - The Gin Kaffir Lime cocktail: divine! I'd very much recommend visiting Barbacoa to form your own experience. I have the feeling you'll have a brilliant lunch or dinner there!

🥂 Great atmosphere and food! We had a fantastic dinner, and a big part of that was thanks to the lovely service and recommendations from Cintia (I hope I’m spelling her name right), our waitress for the evening. 🙌 I 100% recommend this place. In my personal opinion, the food is a solid 10/10.🔥 Just a small suggestion: I think the restaurant could use a bit more lighting. I couldn’t clearly see what I was eating and as a couple who loves to enjoy both the look and taste of our food, it made a difference. 😄 I had to use flash for the photos. That said, I’d come back without a doubt ✌️

Barbacoa is always a must for us whenever we’re in Bali. The night we originally booked, they had to close unexpectedly for some emergency works, but the team went above and beyond to fit us in the next day — such great service! The staff are absolutely wonderful and looked after us so well, and as always, the food was top notch. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

We were here in July 2024, and have come back as the first time was awesome. We were not disappointed! Everything on the menu was delicious. So many choices, a couple of must haves… tuna tostada, any of the side veg and the steak is cooked to perfection 🙌 heaps of gluten free options too. our waitress Okta was so accommodating and was a great host. We will be back next time we are in Bali!

We stopped by on a Thursday night and were able to get a small table for two in spite of not having reservations, which I highly recommend you book one because the place was hoppin’! The food was an absolute pleasure to partake of. We opted to order a number of the small plates, the octopus entree, corn and kabocha squash. All were perfectly cooked, seasoned with delightful an accompaniments of salsas, sauces and textures—complimenting the main protein or vegetable but still allowing their natural flavors to shine through. We are from SoCal so we know our Mexican food and this was a fun interpretation of Latin fusion cuisine. The tacos and tostada were flavorful and yet not too spicy. The octopus and calamari were perfectly tender and not overcooked. Only the charred corn was somewhat underwhelming and under seasoned and could have used a little more cotija, some cilantro or tajín. The service was attentive but not too overbearing. It is quite a dimly lit establishment so the wait staff will provide book lights to assist you with reading the menu as well as insect repellent should you opt for patio dining. The pre-set prefixe menu was a so tempting but we wanted to choose lighter dishes and left perfectly satiated without any guilt. A number of other patrons celebrated their birthdays here that night and the staff did a fun rendition of the happy birthday song. We mentioned it was our anniversary and there wasn’t a song but a small candle and well wishes at the end. Had hoped there’d be a scoop of ice cream or a comp’d dessert or something but oh well!

Great food, nice atmosphere and lovely staff. The birra tacos were definitely a highlight. There were great vegetarian options as well as extensive celiac friendly items. Would definitely recommend and will be back! Thank you barbacoa!

My partner had a delicious fish meal. The service was really friendly. Allergy notice: Just a heads up for those who have onion allergy/intolerance, please note that the main savoury dishes all have onions (as guided by our server). Please opt for smoothie bowls. Otherwise, have the fries, which was actually one of the most delicious fries I’d ever tasted!

So good I went back for dinner! This is my favourite spot in the area for delicious organic bowls made from good quality ingredients. Their smoothie bowls are an absolute must as well as their selection of plant based savoury plates like this soba salad. I love also that you can choose your own combinations to build a plate meaning no matter what you can find the combination you’ve been craving.

Second time in a few days and divine experience ! Such a beautiful atmosphere and good vibes. Food is beyond quality and made with love. You feel the intention with every prepared dish. I absolutely loved everything. The atmosphere was incredible, the air conditioning was perfect, and there was a wide selection of breakfasts — everything was delicious. A huge bonus was the cappuccino with plant-based milk. Highly recommend!

I ordered "sacred cacao," emerald keto forest "cold pressed organic juice" and an all day breakfast. I'm giving this order a one star rating because, although the main was great, the other two items were not as advertised. I have been consuming ceremonial cacao for many years, and what Cafe Vida is calling "sacred cacao" is cheap cacao powder in a plastic bag, which is what I was shown when I asked about it. So using the term "sacred" is extremely misleading. The drink was also meant to include reishi, lions mane and cordyceps in it… but I wasn't convinced that they were included. Secondly, the juice is advertised as "cold press." However, it was clear that a centrifugal juicer was used, it was running near the till / coffee machine, not a cold press juicer. A centrifugal juicer has a high-pitched sound and you can hear the RPMs are much faster than a slow juicer, which tends to be more quiet and when using a hard vegetables you can hear the crunching sound not a high whizzing whirring sound. The high foam on top of the juice is also an indicator of a centrifugal juicer. I don't mind paying a high price for quality food and for paying what is advertised, but this just didn't quite seem right. The salt and pepper were provided in open bowls without a little spoon. The little bowls look funky but are not hygienic. My fork and knife were already used, so when I when wanted to add salt all that was left was my hands. This is unhygienic as I don't know who has touched it before me. So salt and pepper in a sealed container would be ideal, but worst case scenario providing a little spoon to dispense the salt and pepper would be better. I had wanted to order a coffee after my meal and I asked for the menu to be left on the table, but the waitress insisted on taking them with her and said if I needed it again, I could just ask. There were three people total in the cafe, so it wasn't as if they were needed to give to others. I don't enjoy leaving a one star review, but there were multiple factors that contributed to this as itemised above.

My partner had a severe allergic (that we told the waitress about) and she couldn’t eat her meal (she took 2 bites). After taking her antihistamines, we wanted to pay the bill and the barista, with a sassy attitude, charged us for everything, including the dish my partner didn’t touch. The coffee is ok, not outstanding, the menu is original but the delivery is poor. If you have an allergy, be VERY CAREFUL with this place. Would recommend for a juice but that’s it

Very cute and clean bakery. I have eaten breakfast here the last two morning. My wife is dairy and soy free, they have gone out of there way to make sure she can have a variety of foods. Great tasting sour dough bread, highly recommend. Heaps of takeaway cakes, breads etc Couldn’t help myself and grab a few. I havnt tried coffee so I can’t comment on it.

3 star because the staffs were not friendly. Just because the place has been standing for more than decades, doesn't mean the cakes taste good. I tried their Baileys cake and tiramisu, both taste awful, too much cacao fat and too soggy, I don't like it. Most cakes I ever tried in Bali has better taste than these. The place has good interior and suits well with older generations, but meh, the service and taste wasn't that good, hopefully it can be better someday.

We are disappointed with the food. We went here with a lot of hopes. We ordered a chicken burger and a vegetarian sandwich and asked them to put extra cheese. When the bill arrived we noticed that extra cheese was half the cost of the sandwich which would have been worth it if it were any good. The vegetarian sandwich was two tomato and two cucumber on half slice of bread. Utter disappointment. My husband said the chicken burger wasnt great either. Apart from these we ordered raspberry lassi which wasnt lassi at all and some other bakery items. None of them stood out. We asked them to give as take away for our flight but we struggled to finish them. Staff were very cooperative. They let us revisit our order two three times before we finalised. The cafe had smoking area outside and no smoking inside.

This bakery was more than what I was expecting. It’s a full service restaurant AND bakery which was a nice surprise. So I stayed for lunch and got some work done. I would definitely go back.

Really nice place, could see it being a great place to do some work, we just popped in for a quick bite to eat, I had a beetroot mix juice that was really refreshing, my wife had a vanilla milkshake which was also good. We both had smoked salmon bagels, with fries on the side, although they were good I felt the portions were quite small, I could have ate another or two. Still tasted good though and the sambal on the side was really good. The menu had a lot of good options and the prices were fair.

The restaurant wasn’t so big and super packed during brunch. We were quite lucky that someone left right when we got there. Despite many customers dining in, the service was very good and quick. The food was delicious and portions were fair. The parking area was pretty limited and we had to park our scooters in front of the stores across the street. If you’re in Canggu, you can give this restaurant a try!

Everything here is made from banana flour. Yes, they make flours from banana. So everything has a light taste of banana. But it tastes good. I tried their vegan donut, tastes good, nothing weird at all. The texture is a bit chewy not that soft. Everything here is gluten free and celiac friendly. Their mission is to make banana flour become a commodity. They already have a branch in London and U.S, and still counting to open in other big cities. The place is quite small. Enough space for less than 10 persons dine in. The staffs are friendly. I talked to one of them, he explained why the size of their donuts and breads are not as big as others that use wheat flour. Banana flour doesn’t contain starch which make the product can’t get any bigger than the dough.

This place was sooo yum, some of the best GF sweet brekkies I've had. Love the banana flour everything. We got waffles, french toast, and coffee for dining in. Then we got 3 cookies, a choc croissant, and bread takeaway. Highly recommend, and the nephew of Made who took our order was so friendly. Hoping to order some of their premixed flours to send home to Australia. Thanks Mades!

Best Bakery in Bali! Food was amazing! People are amazing! All the flour is gluten free and you would not be able to tell the difference. The banana bread was out of this world. The brownies and cinnamon rolls were incredible.

Impressed with the selection of treats they have. All gluten free. By the time I arrived (10.15am) most treats were already sold out. I opted for the vegan + gluten free croissant. It was nice and I could appreciate the craftsmanship. It was a little dense on the inside, it would have gone well with a jam of some type.

A traveling celiacs dream. The gluten free bread lasted just over 2 weeks in my fridge while I traveled. Loved the croissants. Was so nice to stock up and get lots delivered to me when I was farther south.

We had the Beef wellington, Potato Gratin, Duck confit and Onion soup. The beef wellington was delicious albeit, a bit too meaty. While the steak was cooked well, we weren't really all too impressed by the overall flavor. Duck confit was similar, good but not great. The onion soup however fared a lot better and the slices were caramelized very well. The star of the show was the potato gratin. We were struggling to get our hands off this dish. Delicious.

If you want to have a more refined dining experience in Bali, then this is the place to go! Nice atmosphere, beautiful interior design, friendly staff and delicious food. I ordered the tagliatella with shrimps and I can highly recommend it! Would definitely come back here.

Everything that reached our table was excellent and refined. A great feat considering we ordered a vast range from the brunch and main menu. The meal immediately started off in a lovely note as they served each of us a sweet pink welcome drink. Highly recommend the salmon croissant from brunch menu, served with nori crisps, the taste was distinct and umami. Mushroom tagliatelle was also a big winner. Prices are on a higher side considering Canggu location. However, the premium ingredients and expert handling of them, justified the price points. If looking for a great deal, to soak in the pretty atmosphere and their delectable pastries, best come for tea time, in summer 2024 priced at IDR 150.000++/pax with so many inclusions. My only note was about the music playlist, they might want to review the flow as it changed moods rather abruptly with French instrumentals to K-pop to rap throughout the 90 minutes that we were there.

We ate at Folie for our last dinner in Bali. No regrets because we definitely ended our short stay in Bali on a high note with this place. I believe Folie is severely underrated and anyone who is looking to have an unforgettable meal in Bali should try this place! We ordered the Onion Soup as our starters. Tasted well and just right. Plus brownie points too since they served the soup really hot which we loved. For our main we ordered the Beef Wellington and this is a must try! Beef was really tender, the mushrooms were cooked and seasoned just right and the pastry was flaky, and buttery. Have to try this at least once in your life! Then for dessert we had the Raspberry Pistachio Cake which is good as well. Had some cocktails too to go with the food that we ordered. Overall, I would really like to go back and try other items on the menu should I find myself in Bali again. Service is good as well, i like that they really try to make an effort to make conversation and make each guest very comfortable. Place is very clean too!

The food was so great!! I love the chef recommended pasta and the wellington beef. The beef was cooked just right as medium rare and the mushroom sauce with truffle tasted awesome. Also the snail tastes creamy and good. The dishes are expectedly delicious. I sincerely think this restaurant deserves higher mark. However, the waiter is quite new, so he is not familiar with the menu and even ask would I like to have the beef tartare in medium rare. Yet, he has good attitude which I highly appreciated for. I love this restaurant and I hope I could dine in the next time I come to canggu.

Enjoyed freshly handcrafted doughnuts with Iced Americano and Iced Latte at Dough Darlings Seminyak for breakfast. I was surprised to see the variety of Doughnut options they were offering. The fluffy textured Salted Caramel Almond and White Choco Speculoos were perfectly sweet. They have also introduced delicious vegan doughnuts (Rice Choco and Cinnamon Sugar). Good vibe with ambient music, great wifi and friendly staff.

The donuts are super fluffy and light, not too dense so they don’t feel heavy at all. The sweetness is well-balanced and the toppings are creative with lots of unique flavors. Perfect for coffee pairing or a light dessert. The place itself is also cozy for a quick stop. ✨

It was an excellent place to sample some doughnuts in the late afternoon. It wasn’t very busy given the time of the day but a lot of their flavours had sold out. Every thing we sampled was very good quality. I highly recommend the gluten free mini bubble doughnuts. Drinks were also refreshing and nice. Recommended

Their donuts are next-level good! The dough is perfectly fluffy... soft yet full and satisfying. Tried the blueberry lime donut, and wow! The flavor just bursts in your mouth, not too sweet, just right. A solid 10 for me. Giving 4 stars as there is always room for improvement and enhancement and can't wait to see more flavors coming in. Definitely worth a stop when you are in Bali! 💛

Visited this place on a weekday evening. As we a group of 6, we made sure to make advance reservation . Grateful to be seated on the top floor patio area . Note that some areas on the patio lack light, making it hard to fully appreciate the flavorful Italian food . To make up for the lack of light, we were given two oil lamps, instead of candles. We also ordered plenty of food and drink making space on the table, limited . So, we had to be extra careful not to knock the lamps when sharing/ passing food around the table .

Beautiful ambiance, though the pasta in the seafood pasta was slightly undercooked. However, almost all the dishes we ordered were delicious, and all the cocktails were great. The lava cake was absolutely delicious!

Came for dinner at 8:30pm with some friends and the food was delicious. The reservation was easy to make and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We came to try the Carpaccio and they were sold out so that’s why I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend.

Amazing place tucked away in Canggu, dine on the terrace if possible as it overlooks a quiet street right near the hustle and bustle. Easier some of the best pizzas and service in all of Bali.

Very disappointed. The pizza was tasteless, dry, and looked like a supermarket one. The dough seemed under proofed and had no flavor at all. I used to order from here before and it was never like this.

Absolutely hands down the best dessert and coffee shop in all of Jimbaran! The pastries and cakes were simply decadent and to die for. The molten lava cake was freshly prepared and every bite was a delight. The coffee was equally amazing, perfectly complementing the desserts. The ambience of the place was lovely, creating a perfect setting for enjoying the treats. The highlight was the excellent service provided by the two girls tending the place; they were extremely professional and attentive. This place is a gem and I will definitely keep coming back!

Quiet place in a nice setting, BUT average $5.00+AUD for flat white coffee is up there, especially when the cup comes out barely over half full. AND It was an xtra 1.50 for one with Almond Milk. Feels like being taken for a ride, so won't be back.

We are here on 14/7/25 and spent 415635 rupiah - the caesar salad is filled only halve the bowl. - the salted caramel maracon is the one we enjoyed the most compared to the rest of the dessert. - the table is a bit too high and/ or the couch was a bit too low for me. Seating was not very comfortable. + the location and the place is beautiful to hang out and to take picture

The chocolate éclair is simply outstanding — soft, fresh, and filled with the most delicious, creamy chocolate. It honestly tastes just like the ones you find in Paris, maybe even better. The balance between the light pastry and the rich filling is perfect, and you can really tell it’s made with care and quality ingredients. It’s definitely something you shouldn’t miss if you visit — a true highlight on the menu and highly recommended for anyone who loves desserts!

I did know that they’re famous for their dessert but I didn’t expect their brunch were this bad??? I ordered their light lunch menu ‘Avocado Croissant’, waited for 30-ish minutes (already too long), they looked very good from the presentation. But the croissant was just so so (I don’t mind), but the avocado tasted SO BITTER, and I just don’t get about its combination with sour cream. Definitely felt like I was eating spoiled food. Too bad. I really liked the interior and the vibes tho

A very very good place to chill.. I had a whole tea room for myself when I visited. The staffs were friendly. The shopkeeper recommended cheesecake as their best seller, but unfortunately, it's too sweet for my liking (all the desserts looked good tho, very eye-pleasing). Will try the other desserts next time.

I can't remember any name except the japanese pan, I really love it, perfect sweet, end up take away the mango and the white ball I don't know what's the name😅, The cashier supper lovely and make sure the box is stable enough as I drive motor bike to Uluwatu, was supper stress, traffic, and few stops for groceries which is more than 1 hour 30 mins, but after all it's all still fantastic, I just immediately place it in fridge. Taste still amazing 😍😍😍

When I first entered, I was greeted with a very friendly and family atmosphere, all the desserts were beautiful. And when I ate them, they were also delicious. The male staff who served me was very handsome and sweet, I fell in love with him, he served me very gently and spoke politely, and said "if you have time, you can help me with a review on Google so I can improve my service" woww this is the first time I have been served by a waiter who is very confident and needs reviews from buyers. The manager really has to give appreciation to the male staff.

We plan our accommodation around close access to this amazing cafe, as it's our favourite, super friendly staff who go out of their way to be kind, healthy delicious menu & spectacular view right on the ocean. We are grateful to the Lemo Team for their service & smiles over the years. We have eaten our way through their menu many times & have never been disappointed. Best sugar free & gluten free cakes we have ever eaten.

The great spot to start the day in Sanur. The food is delicious and the view is stunning, especially during sunrise by the beach. Their cakes are tasty and gluten-free, which is a big plus. The coffee selection is strong and uplifting, perfect to boost your morning energy.

Coeliacs avoid at all costs!!! I was made violently ill after eating here and being told that all the food I had was gluten free. I have had coeliac disease for almost 30 years and have the exact same reaction every time I eat gluten, and had this after eating at this cafe. I have now seen at least 3 other coeliacs leave the exact same review and the owner reply saying that the food was indeed gluten free and perhaps the guest had another allergy and reacted because of that and to get checked by a doctor. That is not the case and is just plain gaslighting and denial on the café's behalf. Clearly the restaurant does either not understand what it means to be gluten free or their communication both verbally and on the menu is incorrect and misguided. The staff were kind and the café was nice but it is unacceptable and dangerous to label something gluten free when it clearly is not. I hope the café looks into their gluten free food making process and improves on this in the future, but in the meantime, please avoid eating here if you have coeliac disease.

Breakfast at Lemo X On The Rock came with more than good food. The sunrise over Sanur Beach set the mood, and every bite matched the view. The gluten-free cake was soft and flavorful, and the coffee had depth without being harsh. Staff were warm and easy to talk to. It’s one of those places you leave smiling without trying to.

Started my day at Lemo X On The Rock and it couldn’t have been better. Watching the sunrise over Sanur Beach while sipping coffee felt unreal. The food had clean, balanced flavors, and the gluten-free cake was surprisingly rich. The staff made everything smooth and pleasant. Perfect place for a calm, slow morning.

I wanted to love this but unfortunately didn't. The coconut granola bowl looked so nice on the menu as it's served in an actual coconut but that is not what I got. Instead it was served in some kind of strange bowl that didn't even balance properly. The yoghurt was nice but not enough of it. If you don’t like melon, which I don’t, the fruit in the bowl is 80% melon. The coffee with coconut milk was good. Service was friendly but quite slow.

For a beach front restaurant it's probably the cheapest drinks in Sanur... ( Don't put them up ). Fantastic location, cold beers 27k excellent service... Definitely a good recommendation.

I Love This cute Sibling Espresso Bar, cozy and friendly staff, located in seminyak next to Sisterfields Cafe near Seminyak Village Mall. I have tried the Sandwich its delicious, i like the coffee and my favourite is the Juice No. 3, i forgot the name but it taste really good. This place is highly recommended, to hang out with friends or alone with your laptop.

Dog friendly cafe at seminyak. Its a small cafe with very limited seating right next to sisterfields. Best for small groups, couples and singles who are looking for a quick bite for breakfast. They serve delicious pastries, fresh juice and coffee. My personal favourite is the miso caramel and potato cheese

Best coffee I’ve had in Seminyak. Iced long black. My god. Came from dinner just next door at Sisterfields to Sibling and had the most pleasant surprise when their coffee was mind blowing! Had a Nutella donut on the side - that guy I don’t recommend :)

The staff was SUPER knowledgeable and very friendly! And then the best part is the coffee was very good! Not to mention the chicken sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had (don’t tell Chick-fil-A)! Highly recommend!

A small coffee shop located in an area with sisterfield, bossman and bikini. Because of the small space, if you use a car, you can park in the seminyak village basement which is located directly opposite, but if you use a motorbike, you can directly park in front of the café and will be assisted by security. There is a limited seating area in this place, more outdoor than indoor. Very good interior design is dominated by gray colour. In the morning or evening there will be reflected sunlight which makes shadows on the walls very beautiful. The menu here is not too much, but the food quality is good. I ordered coffee and it tastes very good. Coffee price range here is around 40,000 - 50,000 rupiah. From where I sit I can see the coffee making process because there is a window that leads to the barista's workplace. Besides coffee, this place also provides bread and other snacks. When I was there, many people also ordered to take away while walking or shopping in the Seminyak area. Overall the experience of enjoying coffee in this place is quite pleasant even though the place is small. Suitable for breakfast when you stay overnight or walk around in the seminyak area in the morning. One of the best quality coffee shops that you should try when you visit Bali.

About pastry quality and taste I can't complain it is very nice but about the price I Know some confectionery shops with the same standard but 20 to 30 percent cheaper. My suggestion is Triple Chocolate cake it is a masterpiece.

Why service only 4 stars? Because the cake, bread etc. is delivered from Jakarta - special wishes or orders out of stock need 3 days for delivery. Great choices of cakes, as well small portion for tasting. A little bit higher prized. Tiramisu cake wasn't on stock. The 'Black Forest' cake - a composition of chocolate cake within between a layer of cherry jam and a sort of cream layer - was in a way acceptable but far far away from a real 'Black Forest' cake. You taste mainly chocolate and not the fine aroma of cherry. But sorry you are not my no. 1 in Bali because of very standard offer. The offer of small snacks is not extraordinary.

Good place for cakes and cookies. The service and staff was good and friendly, the cake selection is limited, many cake is not ready. The coffee is not really good, I think they use instant coffee. The seat is limited but comfortable and there is no wifi.

I bought the cake by using Grab Apps because i had some works to do. The cakes taste very very goodddd and it is greatest of all time😭 It melted on your mouth and made you satisfying after eating the cake. I love their chocomaltime-cheese cake so bad👌 Yeah it's not that cheap but i think it's worth it~

Avoid. After I was already eating a strawberry croissant I discovered fresh cream inside. This has been sitting out since this morning not refrigerated. It’s 4.30pm. Very worried about what’s to come for my young boy and I. Staff had no idea cream should be kept in the fridge. Praying we don’t end up very sick. No hygienic or food safety knowledge.

It’s sad to see such a wonderful, once-favorite café slowly falling apart: the staff is untrained, service is chaotic, and we didn’t even get cutlery without reminding them. The pastries, though, are still the good old Monsieur Spoon — but I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

It‘s an easy place for breakfast, but a lot on the menu was not available when I was there, but the staff was very friendly.

So disappointing. I came here last year and the service was amazing, but this morning was a completely different story. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and downright disrespectful. There was a mix-up with my order, and instead of handling it with any kind of grace, they overcharged me and tried to argue about it. I was charged $20 for just a coffee and croissant. When I went back to question it, the staff member insisted I’d ordered a smoothie bowl too — which I hadn’t. They hadn’t even started making it, yet she still argued. I stood my ground and got my change back. After that, things just went downhill. They didn’t give me any cutlery for my croissant, so I had to go back and ask. Then, after waiting 20 minutes, my coffee still hadn’t shown up — I had to remind them again. When it finally arrived, it was burnt. Honestly, it felt intentional, like they were being spiteful because of the earlier disagreement. Never experienced such bad service in my life. Do yourself a favour — skip this place. There are far better cafés just down the road.

The service was excellent 10/10. It was super friendly and attentive. Everything else was fine. Just their matcha was too strong for me, i asked for more latte to lighten the taste. I wish they would open more on other islands. Expand to Lombok, perhaps?

Overall, it's okay. I'm not a first-timer here; however, Braud might need to upgrade its atmosphere and ambiance to be a more homey breakfast place, as the food and service are incredible! Excellent place for cafe like menu. The guys were all smiling serving and speaking english so money well worth. We sat inside. With AC on and nice place to chatter. Fair warning. The longer you stay the more you want to tey their other menu. So leave ASAP!

Been coming here so many times, the food and the pastry are very good. My favourite are their eggs Benedict, Turkish eggs, beef pastrami sandwich, their shaksuka and cashew pan au chocolate! The staff are very nice and welcoming, especially Rangga, he always greet me every time I come.

Cafe mungil in the heart of Seminyak on the street mertanadi, little cute but is really full. They have an croissant homemade, the taste is good and coffee feels good. The ambience I feel not good because so full So u can really enjoy a coffee The price more than cheaper than another coffeeshop 🫶🏼

I can say that I'm pretty conscious when it comes to desserts. I don't drink sugary drinks and rarely have sugary stuff but..chocolate is an exception. That's my go-to indulgence so I love it creamy and it's not something that you'd get from jungle gold because they use plant based milk. It's not bad of coz but it's not there! (if you know what I mean hahah) Would I buy it again? 🤔 creamy chocolate is not bad (pretty close to regular choc) but the fruit and nut is a no no for me.

I was so surprised and excited to see this Massimo Gelato there, so I hurried to run to order the gelatoes, but only 4 flavours left, and those weren't the favourites and I didn't like those either. As I saw on the menu, they also had bubbteas, so I ordered 1, but again, I had to be disappointed as all the toppings were finished. So I ended up just ordering honey lemon tea. I guess it's because the outlet is located at a very busy tourist souvenir shopping (Krisna) area, so everything ran out fast and most people like Massimo Gelato.

Favorite Gelato house in Bali. Long line to buy ice cream. With a large selection of Gelato you can pick and mix any flavor you want. The ice cream is smooth and melt in your mouth, but be quick cause if you wait it will melt in your hand

Gelato in Kuta, Bali. Located in front of Krisna Oleh Oleh. Kinda pricey than it’s original branch, literally twice more expensive. Taste just so so, not so really good, it was good, but just enough like the others. If you want to try better try in their original branch in Sanur. Even if you want to try the best seller flavor you have to pay extra +- 5k to 15k😅.

Really really good ice cream!! Great gelato flavours too. The hazelnut was so good and the chocolate also. Well priced too. Came in the morning so there was so line but wouldn’t mind queuing as it was really tasty!

They have a lot of flavors of gelato and multiple choices for cheesecake flavors. And the price is very cheap for a very good gelato.

Place is quite standard, not fancy and outdoor. But their gelato is one of the best in Bali, I think it is a bit more delicious than Gusto, but it had fewer varieties than Gusto. It's spotted easily from the road, near Khrisna Wisata Kuliner.

My daughter's birthday was 28-Sep and she had turned 21 but we'd not been too satisfied with any bakery options that we've tried before. So I came across TSE (The Sweet Escape) on IG. The staff communicated via WhatsApp and then called for better clarification of any necessary substitutions and delivery time preference. The communications were very professional and considerate. My fav is German Chocolate and VERY difficult to find abroad and my daughter's fav is most things milk chocolate and burnt cheesecake. On 2-Oct-2025, I placed orders for: 1-German Chocolate & 4-Brownie Cheese Cake squares and they were readily delivered by 3-Oct-2025. Including delivery costs to Seminyak, my total was 650k (pretty reasonable). When the cakes arrived, I shared portions with the co-living staff to get added feedback to submit. I decided to use a review rating scale of - High: 1 and Low: 5. Choco Cheesecake: (Rating: Hi1/Low5) The base overpowered the cheesecake and didn't match airy texture. **Overall Rating: "3" German Choco: (Rating: Hi1/Low5) I wanted more delicious German Choco icing😊; prefer a 2-layer option to the 3-layer because it felt more like a wedding cake (almost fell over slicing). Hopefully packaging gets better for storing remaining cake portions. **Overall Rating: "4" I would order again 👍🏽

Pleasantly surprised! The cake was PERFECT. I ordered a red velvet cake, it was fluffy and delicious- not too sweet/sugary either. They nailed the decor of the cake, it matched the inspo I sent them. And the flowers on the cake were real!! And smelt gorgeous

This little gem of a bakery is heaven for Gluten Free. After living in Bali for the past few years with my coeliac daughter, The Sweet Escape has been my go to for birthday celebrations, regular deliveries of gluten free sourdough and banana bread. Their gf date loaf is a must try and don’t forget to pre-order their cinnamon buns. High recommend!

Their chicken pie was great! This chocolate cake also good. I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't say a thing about it. The place was often quite empty, so maybe if you have a short meeting, it could be a nice option. They probably now having more selection of the cake. Give a try lah.

Visited this coffee shop on the weekday. It’s located in a bustling part of East Denpasar redlight junction with a little patio. Fun spot to meet and hangout with nice vibes.

Stopped by Massimo’s in the afternoon for ice cream and were impressed by the amaretto & tiramisu flavours — creamy, rich, and full of flavour. Note that you pre-order and pay at the register before collecting your ice cream, which keeps things flowing smoothly despite the crowds. Later in the evening, we returned for dinner with a booking. The experience began with complimentary dough balls, which were a nice touch. We shared the Chef’s Selection for our entrée — a generous variety of deli items that paired well together. For mains, we opted for a pizza. The base was beautifully crisp and the flavours worked well, though we found the burrata cheese on top a little overpowering for the rest of the ingredients. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout. The restaurant itself is very open-air, with plenty of fans but no air-conditioning — something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to the heat.

A pleasant meal and super professional staff. Even a check back part way through eating to see all was well. The food was very good, but; pizza base a little greasy like a pan fry. The topping (vegetarian) was excellent, but the cheese lacked flavour and the tomato base while fully tomato lacked the subtle Italian flavours of garlic and basil. The vegetarian lasagna was nice, but heavy and claggy. Perhaps interleaving some potato would have helped. Garlic bread excellent. Prices fair. Would still recommend.

Very affordable price in the busy area of sanur. And the taste is good. They have so many flavors, I try 3 of them and all are good 🤤 There are so many gelato in Bali, but Massimo is the cheapest one I guess, but the taste is really good. But this time, I want to especially appreciate Oca (the lady with glasses) because her character really stands out. There’s a way she carries herself that goes beyond good service. She doesn’t just serve, she does it with love, and when someone works with love, you can feel it.. Oca made the experience unforgettable. She’s always smiling in a way that feels genuine, not routine. When my brother asked for toppings, she added them with a full smile and playful gesture that made the moment fun. When it was my turn, she carefully asked if I had any allergies and even explained that one of the flavors had alcohol, making sure I was okay with it. That little extra care might seem small, but it showed how much she loves what she does, and because of that, we received it as more than service, we received it as kindness. These are small details, yet they carry so much weight. Because in that moment, I realized it wasn’t just gelato we received, it was care, attention, and kindness. Everyone at Massimo does a great job, but Oca’s way of serving stands out. She shares an energy that lifts the entire place, reminding us that the simplest gestures can change how a day feels. I walked out not only with gelato in hand but with a smile that stayed much longer. And that’s why I’ll keep coming back, and bring my friends too, because service done with love is something rare, and Oca makes it shine.

Best gelato with affordable price. Legendary Italian resto in Bali. The foods really good, we tried classic tiramisu and tiramisu panettone, both are good. Pizza was fine and coffee compareable with other coffee shop ;) everytime going to sanur, Massimo is a must!

Massimo Italian Restaurant is an amazing place! The entire vibe and atmosphere instantly transport you straight to Italy. The food is outstanding, and we were very impressed with the quality of the Italian classics like the spaghetti and pizza. Surprisingly, we also tried the Indonesian food and found it to be absolutely the best—a must-try! The experience was made even better by the warm service, especially from Ms. Ayuk, who greeted us with such a polite and lovely smile. Thank you for a truly wonderful day! Our second and last visit. Ms. Ayu Sri was the queen of the place. Disturbing her smile and ensuring with the customer everything is well with them. We are lucky because she was our waitress for today. Thanks for her efforts.

While not as good as rivareno or leonardo (which are closed permanently now), but this is actually good, i personally like it better than gusto. I ordered pistachio, my wife ordered vanilla, and both flavour blew our mind. This is seriously good, and don't let the size of the cup let you down, because they give that tiny cup no mercy. This will be my must-go-to place whenever i'm in bali

As a fan of ice cream and chocolate, I found this gelato really good and rich. The chocolate flavor had a slight bitterness, the texture was perfect, and the milk made it wonderfully creamy.

Its a hidden gem of icecream rich of flavour and their waffle is truly made with love ♥️ its definitely a must try.

Excellent ice cream, pancakes generously filled with Nutella and delicious toppings. The brownie with ice cream is simply amazing! All compliments to the staff — they’re incredibly kind, friendly, and always make us feel welcome. My fiancé and I go there every evening for something sweet, and we’re absolutely delighted every time. Highly recommended to everyone — it’s definitely the most delicious and best-quality ice cream in Bali!

This gelato store don't have a lot of choices but almost all the flavor is really good compare to other gelato whose has many choices and crowded. The line is short & not too long, price is ok.. Recommend for Gelato lover but this place it's really hard to get parking & always traffic all the time on high season day & nite.

I ordered the dark chocolate gelato with cone. I think the dark chocolate was rather sweet but still enjoyable. The cone was very hard and thick on the bottom, I couldn't finish the cone because it was too hard to bite. I suggest taking the cup instead. Overall, the place is great if you need a shady place to stop around Petitenget or grab the gelato and walk to Petitenget beach.

I order hazelnut and cheese cake in a cup. Both are super bomb! Like the ambience and the neighborhood around. Small place that serve big memory of quality time with your beloved ones. Come as the sun rises, mezmerized by its taste that feels soooo good combined with the hot weather. They have many variant of gelatoes, gotta come back to try another flavor

Ruth's is a great little cake shop along Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai in Sanur. They have a few wall side seats as well as a couple tables. You can do take-away as well. We passed by and picked up slices of carrot and chocolate cake to take back to our villa. They were great! Both cakes were baked nicely, good texture and tasted wonderful, nice for late night desserts after returning from dinner. Will gladly return to pick up more slices if we stay in the Sanur area again.

When we were at Sanur area my son wanted a cheese cake. Google suggested this place and it doesn’t lie. The cake was nice and creamy. we had other cake (forgot the name) and it was delicious. Not only cakes, they have meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have ice cream too!

I love Ruth’s cakes .. always bought cakes from them for birthdays,Xmas,gifts or hampers.. but today we went for ice cream 🍦 on cone for my daughter and sundae ice cream for me. And there’s some flavors on display so I told the lady behind the counter that I want my ice cream Sundae with chocolate ice cream but she insist that I can’t do it,have to be with vanilla ice cream well I don’t like vanilla flavor.. so we have little bargain here and there and at the end she said : they can do it with chocolate ice cream this time but next time I can’t have it with chocolate ice creams for my sundae ? I mean .. common !! It’s ice cream and on your display there’s 6 or so flavors we can choose. And the lady behind the counter never smile or nice face for us ..flat face : no response .. after all its only ice cream either its sundae or not .. just let the costumer choose what flavors they like to consume as long as the pay for it .. and little smile and be kind can’t hurt anyone .. Ps : the 2 stars is for the service No smile no nice But for the cake .. yes am still in love with your cakes 🎂 ❤️

Came for desert last nite. Tried the cheesecake and carrot cake and iced coffee with ice cream. Dining upstairs and around the counter too . Many cakes available to buy for birthdays or special occasions , they will decorate for you. Cookies available for takeaway too. Worth the visit...

Looks like the majority of these reviews were from a few years ago so we went hoping to experience all the yummy cakes. We visited Ruth’s a few weeks ago in Jan 2021. The cake display looked really nice filled with many types of cakes. They also have cupcake options as well as mini cupcakes in case you didn’t want want a whole cake. We tried the red velvet cake and the pumpkin pie slice along with a nice teapot. Our total bill was 73k which wasn’t too bad for the 3 items however, the slices of cake and splices of pie were quite thin. Since presliced, it felt dry. In addition, the cakes were a little on the sweeter side as well. Perhaps if we were to order a custom cake it would come out nicer. Tiny cupcakes for the win if you want a quick sugar boost and a bite size treat!

Really good American breakfast (we haven't tried lunch or dessert... yet)! This place is located right on the street (Google Maps makes it look like it's behind a building). They have high chairs for kiddos. We had pancakes, french toast, fruit, coffee (long black), latte, and juices, and they were all great! Just a warning (not a complaint), the sausage is not typical American sausage. It's like a smokey hot dog. This true of everywhere we've been in Southeast Asia though, so weren't necessarily surprised. The bacon looks legit though.

The cake still tastes good, same as a few years ago. I usually go to ruth back in the days for hang out with friends. But after they moved to this current place I think the place is little bit old and not represent trend nowadays. The price is quite high if I compare to the place and interior.

Similar like the HK egg tart but this is the Bali version of milk tart. Similar but sweeter and thinner in taste . My kids love them. Me personally a fan of egg tart rather than milk tart. Recommend to bring home for friends and families. Very affordable price too . 35K for 10 PCs ( a box ) . 3 flavours to choose : Chocolate , Cheese and Original .

I can imagine I actually had to make 2 trips to this shop! 1st time I went close to 5pm and when I reached there I was told they have sold out! I was like wow is it really so popular? I decided to make a reservation for the pie susu so I could collect them on the day of departure. What I didn't like was that they didn't allow the mixing of flavours, so each box would have 10 of the same, which was not something I would have liked for 1 person wanting to try out the flavours. Eventually I decided to get only the original and the chocolate one. Tried it a day later when I opened up and distributed it to my friends. I liked the original one it was a little sweet but was quite nice, the tart shell was pretty good too. The chocolate one didn't really go well with me, the chocolate taste was a bit weird and not to my liking. Hope have chance to try other flavours again.

Something that you can bring as gift from Bali. It’s not like the rest of the Pie Susu because its freshness. Last only for about 1 week. You can find 3 flavors for it. The location is close from seminyak. Sometimes, if you are not lucky, then it will be sold out. So pre-order via phone is recommended.

Famaos Pie Susu at Bali, it feels so good, enough sweet, they have an other snacks like beans, pork cracklings, crakers etc.
