One of my good friends took me here as part of to trying out a few bars/ pubs for my first time in Sheffield and was a lovely bar to have a chat over a cocktail or two. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful asking us if we needed anything/ attentive as well as gave us tips on the drink flavour profiles. It’s a unique intimate setting but quite quirky/novelty place for a drink in Sheffield. Considering how much they fit into one drink it’s definitely worth a try to see if there’s one that fits you and is good to support local bars!

Really enjoyed our visit to Public yesterday. It's a tiny bar, housed in a former public toilet in Sheffield city centre. The atmosphere and playlist were great and the team are super friendly and welcoming. The cocktails were very good, with unusual flavours and quality spirits. We tried two cocktails each and really enjoyed both. We'll be back!

It's possible I just made a bad call with the drink I ordered, but my partners was similar. Barely any drink, huge price tag, and the spirit overpowered any actual enjoyable flavour. Atmosphere and staff were lovely though. Worth it for a one-off to see what it was like, but can't see myself coming back.

Previous experience was fantastic, only to be greated with nothing but distant on arrival Although busy we witnessed 7 people leave the establishment , despite being part of a group of 3 we were eventually we were eventually told, “walk ins only”. No body else was waiting and. We were looking for our initial drink of the evening. Whilst I understand the clientele should match the venue it appears 3 gentlemen were not “the look” the venue was looking for. We went there as the cocktails from previous experience were the best annd have on first knowledge was “the place” in Sheffield. Sadly not. Avoid.

After seeing the good reviews, we decided to pop in for a few pre-gig drinks. We didn't book, but they found space for us in a snug booth. Great service from Jack who went through the menu and provided water whilst we chose our drinks. Best drink for me was the Heavy Hitter and the wife's was Can't Knock It. Staff were great and attentive but gave us plenty of time to savour our drinks. Also served by another staff member but didn't catch his name (he was sporting a retro jumper). Good music and vibes. Thanks to Jack and jumpers. Would definitely visit again.

I was en route to Weston Park and spotted the Forum which is close to Devonshire Green. It’s a big venue but there was a board outside advertising coffee so I went and was directed to the coffee bar area down several steps (there is an entrance to the coffee bar coming in by the external seating area which avoids steps). I ordered an oat milk latte and sat on one of the high stools. I asked about gluten free cakes etc and the barista pointed out a chocolate brownie. This was in a display case next to other products, not correctly labelled with no cover or separate serving equipment. I advised the barista about this but got no response other than a bemused look. NB I am not coeliac but avoid gluten. The coffee was good.

Visited for breakfast with vouchers for free coffee after shopping at Vulgar, next door. The vegan danish was lovely, fruit with a chocolate ganache. Forum has a very cool environment and the music is great. The perfect start to our last day in Sheffield.

Hired a private space for a work social with food for over 20 of us. The space was perfect and private without being too tucked away and the food was excellent. Great selection of dishes that worked for all dietary requirements, clearly labelled and staff were very attentive all night. Great selection of drinks. Would recommend for any catering and work events.

Went for brunch following the Sheffield Mutual 10k run. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Food took a while, but when it arrived it was really good. Three of us each had different options. I chose eggs,sour dough toast & bacon. It was delicious! Gorgeous buttery toast, runny fried eggs and crispy bacon. You could taste the quality of the ingredients in this simple meal ❤️

Love this place, they have a huge variety of drinks and great no alcohol options for drivers too! We enjoyed 2for1 pizza and it was delicious. The staff team are always welcoming and helpful!

I went in with a group of friends for a leaving do. We had a couple of beers, it seems quite a busy place with several areas for seating, including a beer garden. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about what they were selling. All in all well worth a visit

My partner and I spontaneously decided to go for food at Picture Social House. I was almost sure that we are not gonna be able to find a table without a booking and I was right. It was fully booked but the host was really polite and he suggest that we can sit on a bench and an old barrel was our table and it was actually really cool!!! We both had the beef pizza which was really good and the Henderson's fries which were an absolute heaven!!! And I am absolutely sure that they were home made and not from a packet because they reminded me of my grandma's fries from the olden days! 5 stars!!! 💜

Went here for food and drinks on a Friday evening, really lovely atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming. Pizza was amazing, new menu was great way more choices. We have the lamb pizza and the blue cheese and mushroom, both fab! Had poutine as well which was just as good! Will definitely be coming back

Different. But in a good way. I mean what other bars have beer, pizza, board games, table tennis, arcade machines, projector screen for football and what looks like a mini cinema? There is a good atmosphere and a good crowd. Sits very well with the area it's in. Well worth a visit.

The place is very similar to The Flight Club with a wide variety of games to choose from for AR darts. The atmosphere is so lively any time of the day, and the service is super quick, too. Love that our game highlights are recorded for us to cherish.

We did a bottomless brunch at bungalows and bears, and it was the best bottomless brunch that we have ever had! The service was amazing, all the staff were so friendly, positive and always available to take drink orders! It made the brunch very special and the staff made such a great atmosphere, especially Charlotte, she was great, so friendly and positive and she provided an amazing service! Would definitely recommend for brunch, drinks and darts! We will definitely be back!

No real ale, very disappointing. How are you able to have 9 kegged beers and no proper beer, this place clearly doesn’t care about British brewing. Music also too loud. Had to drink dog (which is fine, but shouldn’t be the only drink available).

Friendly staff, fantastically varied selection of cocktails. We just popped in for a drink. After discovering the place and seeing the extensive lists of options we decided to treat ourselves to 2 cocktails each. And we recommend you do the same!

Kuckoo is without a doubt the best bottomless brunch we've ever been to. The staff were fantastic, our server Anna was very attentive, friendly and quick. The music was great, as was the bingo and entertainment. They all worked together as a team to make sure everyone had a good time. The cocktails and shots were also amazing, no watering down or limited choices, you could have anything from the entire menu. We will definitely be going back!!! Thanks Kuckoo, we had a great time.

Excellent after noon bottomless brunch. The staff work very hard continuously, making drinks and occasionally getting up on the bar with their flame throwers. We were greeted and introduced to several staff who looked after us. We sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A special mention to Seb, Clara, Anna, and the magnificent Ricky six, who was the MC and had everyone up and dancing. It's just a brilliant event. Scrumptious pizza, too! Absolutely brilliant Bottomless Brunch for my birthday! Great selection of cocktails, delicious pizzas, attentive Staff, fantastic host, tunes, dancing, bingo and flames! All rolled into a fabulous party atmosphere and happiness! We've been here a few times, and it's become our 'go to' place to make brilliant memories and have a superb time. Life is for enjoying, and yet again, Kuckoo delivers it all!

Came for bottomless brunch on a Saturday and wow what an experience! Great cocktails and anything off menu you want including beer, wine or fizz and endless cocktails plus pizza however only had a slice as not enough really. That aside the staff and the service was awesome and a huge shout out to Eve who served us she was amazing. Great afternoon out with friends!

We rebooked with firepit after a short staffed day, the management team are brilliant and understanding. Staff were friendly and welcoming, constantly bringing drinks and checking in. Allergies and accessibility requests were accommodated, no questions asked. The bar was reasonably busy with good music. The food was hot and brought quickly. At one point we turned down drinks as we couldn’t keep up. Before we had even sat down our drinks order had been taken. We had multiple well made cocktails, shots and bottles of Prosecco. We did the level 2 bottomless brunch. 100% would return and recommend. Thank you firepit team.

Atmosphere is amazing, was here in a lock in once it was so fun. Service is also great. and I haven’t tried the food because I’ve only been here for a night out (as it is a must go for a night out, especially at the end of the night!) but it looks rlly good.

Booked the level 2 bottomless brunch for 4 people, in 2 hours we were served 4-5 drinks each and it wasn’t busy. 3 of us ordered the slow joe, which was beef brisket, it resembled dog food, the brisket was chewy and we didn’t eat the food at all. The staff were miserable, they didn’t clear the table until we asked, we had to keep getting their attention to ask for drinks and then they’d take 20 minutes to make the drinks. Overall a disappointing experience, I have sent an email complaining but I’m yet to have a response. Only positive was the music played was pretty good.

Absolutely shocking service, came for a bottomless brunch, 3 drinks in 1.5 hours. Twice our drinks order was forgotten. Definitely would not recommend, doesn't matter if they are busy or not, they know how tables and seats they can provide service. Don't book people in if you can't accommodate for them. Paying £35 to sit and watch paint dry is not my idea of a decent Saturday evening. Probably more fun to sit and actually watch paint dry.

Wonderful place to go!! Definitely more for the younger generation to go. We had a mixed sharing platter with loaded nachos, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, chicken wings and a selection of dips. We also shared the burger topped fries which tasted amazing!! Absolutely loved sharing dinner and playing on the Switch with my fiancé, it made a lovely evening out. Will definitely be coming back for our date nights!!

Don't let the front end of this place fool you. We are so happy to accidentally stumble into this little gem! The food is very high end, very affordable and very friendly staff! The atmosphere has a fun vibe and gets quite busy. (Very popular with the locals.) I highly recommend this place! Will return again from Canada.

One of the best pubs in Sheffield. Visiting this place whenever visit Sheffield and after many visits, time to leave my review. Staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive, service is good and quick. The drinks they are offering is top selection. Cask and specially keg beers are the great choice. Good variety from the best breweries of UK. Food is good too and the atmosphere is super cool. Whenever i go there, it’s full packed., doesn’t matter about weather or season, crowd never goes down. So if your beer lover and visiting Sheffield, then must try Rutland. They will never disappoint you.

Fantastic pub, huge choice of quality beer and the best burger and chips I’ve had, proper pub.

I have spent decades drinking in Sheffield and have walked past this pub many times and have been immediately turned off by its external experience and never went inside. This is your opportunity to learn from my mistake and avoid overlooking a gem of a pub with a great welcoming atmosphere, diverse clientele and staff and a multitude of signs and messages posted all around that will raise a smile or an eyebrow. I haven’t yet eaten here but seeing other people’s food brought out encourages me to revisit to do exactly that

One of the best if not the greatest real ale pubs in Sheffield. I have had some great times in the Rutland Arms with some of the Rotherham and Sheffield Camra drinking mates. The food is excellent and well deserved and it fills a mighty hole up when you need filling from being hungry. Alas I don't get the chance to visit now as I now live 450 miles away but I do miss my Friday and Saturdays with the lads.

Went for bottomless wings,Thurs. Hands down the most delicious wings ive had in Sheffield to date. If you like wings, go here! Nice relaxing atmosphere and friendly welcoming staff. No vegan or vegetarian options unfortunately though so some of my friends couldn't come and join in for the wings.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had our wedding celebration at Saw Grinders and honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. Joe and his team were truly incredible — every single member of staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the way they supported not just us but also our children meant the world to us. The food was exceptional — we had so many compliments from our guests about how delicious it was. People were also blown away by how fantastic the venue itself is and how warm and welcoming the whole atmosphere felt. We’re so grateful to Joe and the team for making our wedding day so special. It’s a day we’ll always treasure, and that’s largely down to the kindness, care, and effort they put in. If you’re considering Saw Grinders for any event, we couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Can't rate this place enough. We booked for the the variation of drinks and food and we have been so well looked after. All of the staff are lovely, beautiful cocktails and delicious food.

I think this is probably my 4th visit here so they must be doing something right. We reserved a table outside for food before meeting up with our friends later in the day. Our waitress (sorry can't remember her name but she was from Ontario) was really friendly and helpful and also made a good Bloody Mary. I had the Buffalo Chicken Burger which was superb with just the right amount of kick to it. We ofcourse will be back again soon

Great atmosphere and service with good food. This restaurant is located in the Kelham Island area, around 10 minutes drive from the city centre. The first thing I noticed was the lovely vibe and atmosphere the restaurant had, the decor added to the evening meal vibe. The staff were very, very friendly and accommodating and the waitress gave us notice when our food would arrive. The waiters and waitresses wore face masks which is very appreciated. The cocktails were pretty good, I quite enjoyed the cocktail I ordered, although I can’t quite remember the name of the drink. The cocktails were £8 each. The food was good, I quite enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger. There are a selection of free toppings to add, I added: Grilled onions, burger sauce and gherkins. The burger costed £8.95. The peri-peri french fries were nice, your typical french fries with seasoning. The fries costed £3.95. Overall, a nice place to have dinner or go on a date with the nice atmosphere, decent food and nice staff. I would probably come back if I was around the area.

Attend the social supermarket each week. All the staff are friendly apart from the volunteer that offers out the drinks. Every week, he ignores me. He asks the person I am with if he wants a drink and others but never asks me. So very rude

As a regular event coordinator that uses St. Mary's for a social enterprise, they cannot be nicer and more supportive of the sheffield community. Most places wanted to charge us loads and these guys have always charged us what they can afford to, knowing we are not for profit. The food is lovely and reception staff are the nicest in the world! It's just got it's heart in the right place which in this day and age, genuinely is just priceless. Long may it continue to be such a warm welcome here for whoever you are.

Cheap drinks which is good, good music too. But a man kept coming up to my friend and making her uncomfortable and the bouncer was told about it, he said he’d keep an eye out for the man. When the man continued he said ‘what do you expect bringing your girlfriend to a place like this’, and when this was brought up to the bouncer, the bouncer laughed. He replied ‘I can’t help but laugh mate when you brought her to a place like this’. disgusting.

Since they have now ignored my email and blocked me from both Facebook and Instagram after I commented on posts I thought I would post a little review of my experience at West Street Live on the morning of Sunday 24th August. At approximately 1.15am I was queuing to enter West Street Live with a group of friends when, at around 1.30am we reached the venue entrance where we showed our IDs to one of the door supervisors and my ID was accepted by him before I attempted to enter the venue. At this point another bouncer, wearing a white shirt and red tie (1st pic) approached me angrily to say I had been ‘rude’ because I had ignored something he had apparently said to me as I entered, I did not hear him and this was also in a busy and noisy environment. I explained that I hadn’t heard him say anything to me and continued walking into the building before he used his arm to forcefully block and move me away from the entrance as he told me I would not be allowed into the venue. The reasons for this didn’t seem clear. I once again explained that I hadn’t heard him speak to me and in a reasonable manner asked what the problem was and why I was refused entry. He and his other colleagues then ignored my questions before he then asked me why I was still there, but then continued to refuse to engage with me. When I continued to ask to understand the issue he then told me to go away and pushed me away forcefully at which point I asked to see their SIA licenses, to which they refused and after this I was pushed again by his bigger colleague (2nd pic). This was with greater force to the point where I nearly fell to the ground into busy oncoming traffic, fortunately I was able to regain my balance. As I hadn’t acted aggressively towards them at any point during the altercation, this was an entirely unprovoked assault. I had acted reasonably in trying to gain understanding as to why he decided to deny my entry to the venue and none of the bouncers had any need to defend themselves or others by pushing me. I have reported the incident to the police who are making enquiries at time of writing and my next report will be to the press unless management at WSL decide to respond to me. Absolutely disgusting that the management ignore and block my communications let alone not apologise for the way I was treated. Well done West Street Live, you have lost my custom. Not really an enterprising way to treat the people who keep the venue in business is it?

visited this bar last night with some friends, and although it’s conveniently located, the experience at the entrance was incredibly disappointing. We queued up as usual and were asked to provide ID, which is understandable. However, we were shocked to find out that they refused to accept the UK’s new eVisa system as valid proof of age. Even though our BRP cards are expired, they no longer serve as legal proof, and the Home Office clearly states that eVisas are the current standard. We were not even given a chance to explain — the security staff simply denied us entry without discussion. What’s more frustrating is that someone ahead of us in the line used a photo of their ID or bank details and was let in. Why are the rules not applied consistently? Honestly, who carries their passport 24/7 just to go out for a drink? I really hope the management reviews their ID policy and trains the staff to keep up with updated UK immigration systems. It’s disappointing to be turned away simply because a valid form of ID was not recognized.

If you’re a woman trying to fight back against male aggressors, don’t even think about coming here. Security won’t even try to hear you out. Drinks are nice and cheap, the music is great, but the security won’t hear you out

The bouncers here acted disgustingly, I got manhandled out of the club just for being sick (in the toilet!!!!) as I’m lactose intolerant and didn’t realise the shot that I had contained lactose. I am really disappointed with how the bouncers acted towards me and my friends it was cruel and uncalled for. The bouncers were not willing to hear anybody out except what they had been told to do and it showed a disgraceful and unacceptable attitude towards us as customers.

I have been in this club many of times and tonight I happened to get hiccups, and when dealing it I got scored out ? For what ? Worse of all my while friend group got kicked out… for what ? The bouncers have turned pathetic and looking out for any issue. Appalled.

What a great bar! We called in with friends who wanted us to try it, they had visited before, it was an excellent recommendation. The bar staff are friendly and engaging, the atmosphere was loud and buzzing. We called in for 'just one drink' and ended up staying for several, along with the warm pork scratchings, amazing! We are up in Sheffield for the weekend attending a wedding. We stumbled across this place by accident and we were immediately greeted and made to feel welcome by Ben. We didn’t eat but we were sat near where the food comes out and it looked and smelt amazing. We left to attend a function but made a point to come back where we were met by James, again, such a warm welcome. All in all both members of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and look after us. Being avid beer and food lovers we will 100% be returning when we next visit. This was a lovely pub for drinking, with a design echoing the grandeur of a theatre! The winding lights are beautiful and decorations dotted around of different beverages add to the feel, counter is really nice with all the options clear there. I had a refreshing pint of Rekorderlig, enjoying the leather seating and table was clean too!

Great atmosphere in an old building in the heart of Sheffield. Huge selection of beers and ciders. We were there on a quiet Monday evening but they still put on live music - a three-piece jazz/blues band. Highly recommend if you're in the city centre and fancy tasting some unusual brews.

The service was excellent, and didn’t have to wait long to be served. The food was nice! I ordered Pizza - however it may be worth checking underneath , as it was overdone and not immediately noticeable until almost finished, since it was not the entire pizza , couldn’t really go back with it when it was almost eaten.

Whenever we go here it’s extremely noisy, sometimes to the point you can’t hear the person next to you. Although it’s a large space there’s often a queue at the bar to be served and it’s not very affordable. They do do a theatre discount if you show your ticket though. Convenient for the theatre but wouldn’t come for much else!

It's got great food. Lots of great beer. Price has become increasingly painful though. Don't think you can walk away feeling that you got a bargain. I do love the place and the staff are great. Just overstretched at times.

Second best pub in Sheffield after Shakespeare's for me. Attractive and well-preserved interiors and a relaxed atmosphere.

The Fat Cat is an unspoiled traditional two roomed pub. There is a wide selection of beers lager and cider including egiht cask conditioned hand-pulled real ales. The cask ales we sampled were in excellent condition. It's not a food pub but they sell the best pork pies i have tasted. There is a very nice large sheltered beer garden with a covered area. The pub is regularly featured in the camra good beer guide a visit is highly recommended.

Excellent pub with large selection of local beers, including from the brewery next door. Great value roasts served on Sundays and local pork pies to buy at the bar. What not to like. Nice garden.

Nice traditional pub in Kelham with an excellent range of (mostly local) keg beers and a selection of pork pies and sausage rolls for food. However, as it was a warm day, my wife had an Italian lager and I opted for a very refreshing Schneider Weiße beer. Hope to return soon.

The Fat Cat has a long and distinguished history as a cask ale pub. And it is indeed THE best cask ale pub in Sheffield! Great staff, great selection of beers, great atmosphere, and a nice beer garden to the rear. It doesn't look like much from outside (or indeed inside), but the atmosphere is just infectious and invites communication among the punters. Of course, pub food and snacks are available, too. The staff are absolutely lovely. We were in late and they made sure we had a safe way home. They also were just a good crack to talk to. There was a young lad begond tbe bar on a Sunday evening and he was so friendly, recommended us some good ciders and spirits. It's more of a pub than bar but would definitely recommend to anyone in the kelhem island area

An extremely busy bar that seems to cater for bottomless brunch deals. There were lots of staff on site and getting served at the bar was easy despite it being so busy. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, and all the tables were filled with hen groups etc having a great time.

Absolutely love my thursday nights in the cav for quiz night. The atmosphere is more than you could ask for in an ideal spot for students. Not to mention the quiz night that also happens on a thursday which is jam packed full of different categorie, music, general knowledge; you name it the host Rossco has certainly got it lined up! It's always super duper busy with 30+ teams every week! A chance to win a £30 bar tab for 1st place and lots of other prizes for 2nd and 3rd! Dare i say add on the £4 cocktails and deals on craft ales and you're set up for whole night! With a wide range of drinks and large seating area. Great for night out or lunch. If you have a large group it is possible to reserve a table. Wide menu selection and the portions are generous. Friendly staff but getting serviced when it is busy can take some time due to how busy it can get.

Great bottomless brunch with great service. Food selection is great and it’s tasty! The bar is really loud but it’s what you’d expect! Great drink selections too. The table lay out is abit strange as the tables are really long so we ended up sitting with another party and it’s hard to get up and down to go to the loo etc. special shout out to Nathan out server he was waiting a whole area on his own and he did a fab job bless him - the drinks kept flowing and he had service with a smile. Came across this place whilst walking past on the hunt for a meal in the evening. Well it did not disappoint. Absolutely amazing atmosphere. Staff are all happy and very attentive and friendly. Food was out of this world. Great menu too and prices really reasonable. Definitely recommend.

Amazing experience and food was genuinely fabulous. Service was out of this world, so attentive of every table. No complaints, only a lunch suggestion: the meaty melt is divine for only £10 with a drink. Hats off to the young man with curly hair who served us for lunch service today!

A good place to play pool in Sheffield. However, when it gets busy it can be a bit tight around the tables.

Visited on a weeknight, plenty of seating, friendly atmosphere and bar staff, enjoyed loaded nachos, which was a generous portion, it came hot and was very tasty and a burger with soft drinks, ordered via the QR code on the table, food came quickly. There are screens everywhere that had sports showing, so if you're easily distracted this one's not for you! The venue is accessible by a flight of stairs but the is a wheelchair lift.

Previously had a good time in here. Today we were turned away as my friend was wearing black jogger shorts which were deemed too casual. Seems like a strange policy for a sports bar to have at 1pm on a hot Saturday afternoon...

Awful experience. Manager named Yulia was horrible to me and my friend, making vile comments on my friends appearance. Genuinely appalled. We will not be back.

Great bar to watch sport. They put the Belgium F1 GP on the screen for us 😁. Varied menu with some really good vegan options .

Josh was a fantastic server. Very polite and great at explaining the different game modes for darts. No food rating as we didn’t eat!

Well worth a visit. Popular place on a Friday night with the millennium mob. I enjoyed the beers sampling 3 of the Triple Point beverages - each one ever so slightly different, almost to the point of being indistinguishable which is my only gripe. I would come back as I’m pretty sure there’s one that’s very different and the burgers were decent last time I came here.

My favourite place in Sheffield, Can't beat that hallas and brisket burger!! All staff are great and walk that extra mile to help customers apart from the lady with short green hair, very rude, ordered food and she brought it when asked about cutlery she said go and get it your self opposite the till while other staff member done the opposite.

Great place to just chill out with a big beer garden with plenty of drinks to choose from. The burgers were really good and would definitely come back 👍

The decor is really nice and the staff and warm and welcoming, decent place for food and the beer is definitely a winner. There’s not a huge selection of food but the sharing plates and burgers are quite decent. The portions are a little smaller than other places. The chips are pretty 👍 . Would be nice if they had at least one option for a dessert.

Only recently I’ve discovered the lunch menu! Absolutely amazing ! Had the brisket sandwich (think that’s what it was called on the menu) very filling , will definitely be back to try something else!

Great selection of beers - whether you like lager, IPA or something else - there is always a good beer to try. Music is decent, ample seating available, both inside and out. I went too late to try the food from the Twisted burger, so the review is for the bar only.

Triple Point Brewery is a great place to enjoy a few beers and have a fantastic burger. There is a good selection of outdoor and indoor seating. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Based on my my recent visit Triple Point is highly recommended!

Proper old pub (not just old-style pub) with very broad customer base. Dog friendly, great range of beers on tap, decent menu including pies. Visiting with my student son, who swears it's the best pub in Sheffield.

A very cosy and inviting pub. Great service and good value. A good selection of drinks, and very well cooked food at a competitive price. The chips are the best I have ever tasted. I was spoilt for choice when looking through the menu, and there is something for all dietary requirements.

Had a lovely Christmas dinner for two on Saturday. Highly recommend! The staff were really attentive too.

Been coming to this pub for the past couple if years and have got to know the staff that run it. They are always friendly and helpful and offer advice on their latest ales. This is an excellent place to sit and enjoy a pint either inside or looking over the river on a nice sunny day.

The Gardener's Rest in Sheffield is so buzzing with life, a truly friendly and welcoming place, I loved the decor, the place has a lovely feel, and the views over the river are great. What makes this pub so special is that it's community funded. This means it was bought by a group of its regulars who raised money by selling shares to people in the community. It's owned and run by the people, for the people, which gives it a fantastic atmosphere and ensures it stays as a local hub. I was delighted when I was told about this! It's also completely dog friendly, which is a big plus, and they have a lovely Lilly's cider on tap. During the day there was some fantastic live music, and the crowd was just brilliant. I highly recommend it for a friendly pint!

A wonderful and eccentric boozer hidden away in Neepsend. A nice range of hand pulled ales and a great beer garden full of sculptures wombled from found objects. Folk music may occur! No kitchen but good pork pies :)

Found the staff to be quite unpleasant and quite rude which spoilt my visit. If only the saving grace is the garden and its view of the brown stagnant water then so be it. It’s a nice little traditional pub that needs better staff. It’s also card only for whatever reason.

Fantastic, atmospheric, proper, friendly, traditional boozer selling a wide range of local beer. Plenty of places to sit inside plus a beer garden. If you want a real English pub, this is a must visit place.

Has an excellent range of beer, particularly keg. They often have very rare beers I don’t see anywhere else in the city - right now they have a De Struise collaboration I’d never heard of. Do note it gets really busy at weekends. Standing room only.

Would never have considered going to this pub but, went to watch friend of my daughter perform a magic show. The show was in a private room,upstairs. The pub itself is clearly traditional, like those of my (distant) youth. It’s full of character, nooks and crannies. If you’re an ale/beer aficionado you should enjoy the selection available. Great atmosphere. No rowdies (on a Wednesday at least). Relaxed and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit. The magic was outstanding…but obviously one night only. Oh, and there’s pies. Will have to return for one of those!

Great looking traditional pub. Some decent cask beers but 3 pale ales,2 from the same brewery and only 1 bitter. It's a bit rough and ready inside, great beer garden and friendly staff who were more than happy to allow taster's of unfamiliar beers. But why oh why do punters insist on bringing dogs to busy city centre pubs, one huge hound dominated the small front bar, another allowed to run around in the beer garden. Control your mutts or better still leave them at home and have a drink with friends rather than animals.

Tremendous pub with real character, a great beer selection and friendly staff. A pity we only had time for one, but we loved the beer garden and will definitely come back.

I’ve never been so happy to miss my train. This is an incredible pub, with a wide range of cask beers, and its own brewery, all housed in a stunning building. Service is friendly and every room, branching off from the main bar reveals another gem. You must go into the furthest room, that houses the brewery and an incredible room.

When an opportunity presents itself, never walk away. This is especially true when the train drops you at the door of the Sheffield Tap. Beervana for all tastes with 11 hand pulls and 14 high fonts. Make sure you can visit here before you leave.

Visited really early so the place was relatively quiet. They have a great selection of 'home brewed' beers that are brewed on site. The place has an interesting history as well and has a great vibe and ambience. Staff were friendly and happy to engage with an inquisitive tourist. A great place to have a beer or just visit to enjoy the ambience of the train station.

Great bar inside the station serving decent beers & other stuff in bottles. Would be much higher rated if they bothered to employ trade experienced staff, although it's still well worth a visit. Amazing interiors almost Vouge cover worth

Where better to go if arriving or departing by 🚂. The own brewed ales are as good as you’ll find. Do make sure you explore the whole pub and visit the brewing room.

Often stop at this place if I’ve missed my train, I think a lot of people “miss their train” as it’s on platform 1 so very handy. Good range of ales. Lovely original decor that has been retained, looks amazing Free fast wifi

Wide range of tasty cocktails on offer. Good vibes. Good music. Sexy bartender with mullet and moustache combo was unreal at shaking cocktails and really accommodating to my every need.

Such a brilliant atmosphere with salsa dancing to set the vibe! This cocktail bar is seriously cool—the drinks were spot on and absolutely delicious. Easily the most fun spot we visited during our night out in Sheffield.

Pretty nice cocktails but quite a long time to be served. There were two bar staff on but on just sat on his phone while the other served everyone, I stood for 10 minutes waiting as there were a few in front of me. Odd he didn’t feel the need to help. We didn’t have long so almost had to leave due to waiting.

Great bar, been for 2 hen do's the second being a cocktail making session. The bar men were great with everyone, they catered for different tastes and I even made an alcohol free one as I was designated drive. Everyone had a great time and the space upstairs is fab. I particularly love the mirrors up the stairs, great photo point.

Nice place, a little different than most bars as they have a pizza oven in the main bar area. The smells coming are very tempting and the pizzas produced looked lovely.

We had such a good time at the cocktail making masterclass. Josh was an excellent host and showcased an impressive level of knowledge in cocktail making (more to it than you think) and he was a good laugh. The pizzas were really good too, definitely needed them to soak up the tequila! I was a little disappointed when we first arrived because they had no coffee, which meant no Espresso Martinis (My favourite cocktail) and it was a bit cold as we were upstairs away from the main bar; I had to keep my coat on, at least until I'd consumed enough alcohol. None of this detracted from the fun though and I highly recommend the cocktail making, worth every penny of the £30 per person.

Fantastic staff who are talkative and remember you, the cocktails are well made and the pizzas are fantastic! The pizzas are quite expensive but when bought on 241 are well worth it. Whilst the style of the bar is nice, the place can feel very empty as apposed to quiet when there are only a few people in but overall I really like it!

Lauren @ Bloo88 has been absolutely amazing. She has been so attentive, helpful and wonderful. She broke down the menu and told us her recommendations which we loved. She was regularly at our table to ensure we were happy and had a drink. The bottomless brunch was such good value for money. We will definitely be back! ☺️

An incredible food hall with a wide variety of cuisines to suit all tastes. There’s also a bar with a good selection of beers and spirits. At each vendor, you order and collect a buzzer that goes off when your food is ready. This gives you the option to try food from all the vendors for your meal. The chicken strips from Dodo covered in garlic, honey and Parmesan were incredible. Service is friendly and helpful across the site. The only downside is the cooking smells. My clothes smelt like I’d cooked the food myself when I left. Which wasn’t pleasant.

Fantastic place, great way to use an old industrial site in the way that brings people in. Food court allows trying various cousins and we definitely took advantage of that. Greek gyros, salt & pepper hash browns, massala chips - all very good and not silly expensive. Great place to visit.

The smash burger I had at the cutlery works was... smashing! You do have to pay extra (50p) for a sauce for your chips but there's a good range and the chips are nice and crispy. It was a bit quiet when I went but I think the atmosphere would be better on weekends or evenings.

Loved the set up of Cutlery Works. Old industrial building buzzing with food / drink options. Tough to pick, but opted for That Kick which proved to be an excellent decision! Tried their Mie Goreng and Black Magic sauce which was all delicious!

We got a the leopard pie margarita and cheese garlic bread and birria tacos and the food was amazing as well as the vendors. The staff behind the bar were also friendly and welcoming overall we had a really good experience and will definitely be back again.

I recently tried the Chicken with rice bowl with curry sauce at Salt and Pepper Co and it was absolutely delicious.The spices were perfectly balanced and every bite was full of flavor. The service was also top-notch. I highly recommend this dish to anyone who's planning to visit Salt and Pepper Co ,it's a must try.

There are a wide variety of restaurants available from all over the globe. If looking at the stalls is overwhelming, you can scan the QR code and browse the menus on there, and can also order and pay online too, though there is a £1 fee for this. You then get a text when your food is ready and need to go to the booth to collect it. There were plenty of seats available, we were there at around 11am. We got the chicken chipotle tacos meal deal, and the chicken tikka naanwich.

🍺We always have a great time at The Beer Engine 🤩 They have a rotating selection of cask and keg beers, so there's always something new to try. We love a fruity sour in particular and they always have something great on. 🍲But the beer isn't the only star of the show - their global tapas is the perfect food to compliment a few beers! We shared a bunch of plates between friends, and everything was so flavorful and delicious. 🤤 My favorites were the Korean chicken and the delicious halloumi. The loaded fries are delicious too and a huge portion that's great to share. There's a bit of an Asian influence on most of the food due to their link with sister bars @tramshedbar and @theoldworkshopkelham host @dumplingcitysheff This essentially, is Dumpling City's tapas offering, and they smash it ! ✨The Beer Engine has a really laid-back vibe, and the staff are super friendly. Love this place. Great selection of drink and nibbles. The folks who work here are super friendly and welcoming. The clientele are chilled and friendly, we had a laugh with a couple of folks.

I’ve heard good things about the roast at The Beer Engine so it’s been on my list a while to try. There is only one option available, it’s one choice for non vegan too, this time it was a Wellington with a lentil filling. Good selection of veg including cauliflower cheese. No Yorkshire puddings for the vegan dinners. Menu is a little confusing and it would be better to have a vegan roast option, rather than the vegan and vegetarian being listed together. They are looking into this however. They are happy to serve half portions if the full portion is too much. My friend did this and was able to try one of the puddings, the sticky toffee, and she really enjoyed this. 3 1/2 stars ⭐️ Would like to see a clearer menu and it would be good to have at least another roast choice on the menu too. Car parking available next to the pub which is paid for.

Amazing selection of craft beer, some regular, some specials. All the beers go well with the pub tapas style food which is reasonably priced and provides tasty, good sized portions. The staff are friendly, helpful and happy to help with suggestions.

The beer garden is stunning! The small plates are well priced and are delicious. There's a good mix of meat, veggie, and vegan options. There's a great selection of cask and tap and wine too. All the staff are really lovely! Great for Sundays, after work drinks, or casual drinks/food.

I came to Manahatta to experience the bottomless brunch with friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend it, the service was excellent. I chose cheesey on the eyes, and it tasted amazing.

Honey was absolutely amazing during my friend’s birthday celebration. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and looked after every detail to ensure we had the best night.Even surprising us with little touches that made my friend feel extra celebrated. Truly exceptional service, and such a lovely person!

Our server Taylor was literally the best bottomless server I had. She made it clear when she would ask for drinks and delivered on her promise 😅. I can usually drink fast but she can serve faster - she is sooo good. I felt so welcome there by all staff in general and loved the atmosphere, food and vibe. Will be coming again!

Brilliant bottomless brunch! Really delicious food and great portions! We especially appreciated being allowed in a little before our booking to set up decorations for our brides hen. Our glasses were never empty and our server Honey was super attentive, I would recommend this bottomless brunch experience to anyone, superstar service!

Truly excellent place. Very fun and exciting super friendly staff, very attentive and great fun. Very obviously over 18 and plays into this but a great experience. Golf was 10/10 and the darts which we had a trial of was amazing not like anything we had seen before. Would highly recommend to anyone. We spent many hours here without boredom and it was a great atmosphere even on a quiet Monday evening. The staff are a credit to the venue and couldn’t do enough for us to have a good experience.

My husband and I went for the first time on Sunday morning. The place exceeded our expectations, fab atmosphere, artwork is great, layout and golf designs are amazing. We had cocktails which were good too. Staff were really friendly.

Alway enjoy a visit to brewdog Sheffield. Good variety of drink on tap as well as to take away, fantastic atmosphere to sit in. Always made to feel welcome from the friendly staff over they years. I class this as a local even coming from doncaster 👍

First time visiting Brewdog in Sheffield and really liked it. Nice choice of beers on for all types of craft lovers. Main reason for visiting was because they Other Half in cans. Prices were pretty good to drink in so we had a couple and loved them. The bar was quiet on a Saturday afternoon and the staff were great at looking after us.

Paradise for beer lovers! We spend the afternoon in this place and had a great time. The staff are very friendly and professional. The range of brinks is out of this world. Food is very good perfect range for munchies after drinking. One let down for me was the terrible state of the toilets the hand washing was non existent. In this age of increased hygiene I was shocked! No parking and easy walking distance from the town centre. Great atmosphere with large table for big groups and booths for couples or families. Sort the toilets out and this would be an amazing place!

Had a really nice time. The bar is more laid back and the music is not too loud so you can have a nice chat with decently priced drinks. The only issue is that the women's toilets are extremely moldy which is unsafe and disgusting.

Can't comment on food, as we didn't eat. But the service was lovely. The team are so nice and professional, one member of our group needed a feline hygiene product and had no money for the toilet dispenser, and the team checked in the back and then very discreetly asked the table if we sill needed one..the type of service all pubs should arrive for 💛 Drinks were great, good advice for a new drink id not had. Staff member called Luke was really welcoming as soon as we came in for some drinks after a gig at the leadmill. He also went absolutely above and beyond to help me to get some feminine hygiene products really discreetly that I needed unexpectedly! Don't usually come here - but will definitely make a point to be back when nearby for future gigs

We came to Sheffield for an appointment by train. Our first stop as we were desperate for a soft drink was The Howard as it is the first pub outside of the train station. Straight away the staff were very welcoming and the pub is immaculately clean. The landlady came and spoke to us as she recognised our accent and was extremely nice. After our appointment we came straight back while we waited for our train back and ordered food which was delicious, value for money and quick service. We stayed for a few drinks until our train was due, we tried a range of lagers which the staff recommend and and my husband also had a Guinness, all drinks were reasonably priced and enjoyed. Ridiculous called in for a drink Saturday night 3 staff faffing around till got served took ages to pay due to said staff ,mean while bell was rung for what I expected was last order's, we paid sat down within mins was told we had to drink up due to it closing it was only 5 past 11. There were a few other people in drank our drinks quickly to leave. One man came over to me complaining about having to drink up quickly . We left came back 45 minutes later to get a taxi near the pub, noticing people in their drinking .wow, never will we go in there again.

This is our normal stop when visiting South Yorkshire Football Clubs following Oxford United. Always find it welcoming. The beer is good and the staff friendly.

If you're looking for a fantastic party atmosphere this is the No 1 place. The staff are incredible and the music is brilliant. Such lovely staff on security as well. Nimah who runs the bar is a complete gentleman and that's why I I'll always return. A wonderful night is guaranteed.

Bit of a mixed experience. Service was fast and efficient, drinks were reasonably priced. Far too loud for how small the place is. Women's toilets were gross, one toilet seat missing, gross soggy toilet paper littering the other two cubicles.

This is a nice, cozy local pub. They have live music on some nights. Variety of single malt scotch selection from different regions. It's an interesting place if you would like to taste some different whisky. They also have a large selection of cocktails.

Very chilled, good crowd and even better music. Pub meets late night bar. Great drinks list and friendly staff. Couldn't fault the place even if I tried.

The Bath Hotel is a pub which hosts a Jazz Music Session once a month at which I play fiddle. The beer is always in good condition, the owner and staff are always friendly and the audience is always appreciative. I can't vouch for the food as I've never eaten there, but I've heard it's good. There are 2 rooms, a large one, where the music is played, and a smaller snug. The decor is relatively spartan, but comfortable enough, the staff are friendly and there is a choice of beers, wines and spirits. It's not a posh pub, but it's well supported and popular.

People come from all over the country to visit this pub and I can see why. Beer was perfectly conditioned, staff was really friendly, absolutely no complaints. The standard that good real ale pubs should aim for.

Amazing old pub featured in Camra’s heritage pubs book - also won Sheffield central pub of the year 2024. Very friendly landlord and obviously well kept beer. Had a mild on too!

It's a great venue!!! Very helpful and polite staff, two stages, nice area for socialising and merch next to the bar, which is situated between the stages. Very decent prices. Will totally recommend giving it a go.

Went on a Saturday night and was a great experience! The music was excellent: a really fun mix of popular samples mixed in with beats. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing and without any unpleasant edginess. This is a basic club with excellent prices to match. But a good sound system. The main room is not too hot either. Had a brilliant time.

Came here last night for Zebrahead everything is well sign posted in the building which is great apart from the VIP area but not to worry, professional staff, queuing isn't a long process, the venue itself felt very safe, lots of security for the crazy gigs, theres carpeted walls which is really nice, drinks are obviously very expensive... something I was surprised by was the toilets, the seats are wooden never been anywhere what has wooden toilet seats and doors! Great place for a gig though plenty of space which is amazing considering that it is quite a small venue for a gig, I would go again!

Glorious! Went to see motley crue tribute who were fantastic, then more recently a black sabbath/ deep purple tribute. Deep purple didnt turn up so black sabbath (Sabotage) had to fill the whole slot. They were amazing! So much energy and really talented.

I love it here. I feel at home and generally quite safe at Corp. Decent prices on drinks, toilets usually quite clean (though in busy times maybe have your own loo rolls with you hahah).

A great smallish nightclub / music venue. We watched an act here. Parking at the railway station around the corner, this was expensive. Bar open selling keg ale, draught cider and lager. Good selection of real ales in bottles / cans. Reasonable prices for a club, £11.80 for 2 pints. Plastic glasses or in a can. Large clean toilets

Nice venue but otherwise it really depends on what you're doing there. It's pretty much only as good as what it's being used for. Pleasant staff, good security. Toilets leave something to be desired. At least they work. Good location. I'm not local to Sheffield

An Unforgettable Farewell to The Leadmill What a truly sensational final night it was at The Leadmill! The atmosphere was absolutely electric, with banging tunes from the DJs keeping everyone on their feet and the energy levels sky-high. Even as the beer ran out, the party didn't stop; we just switched to drinking from cans, proving that the spirit of the night was unstoppable. I'm genuinely going to miss this iconic place so much. It was more than just a venue; it was a home to countless memories. It was incredible to meet a family who had made a special trip just for this closing night, highlighting the deep connection people have to The Leadmill. Jack and I had an absolutely fabulous time, making this last hurrah one for the history books.

Really great venue. First time for me. The sound was particularly good. I would say the space is just about right for getting a good sound. Bar was well staffed and toilets were clean with plenty of soap. We watched Dodgy play Free Peace Sweet in full and they smashed it.

Went to see Ideal, a comedy where everyone spends most of the time sat down. First few rows seemed to enjoy it. Half of us couldn't see, and the sound was soooo quiet we all went into second half not knowing what was happening in the story. Good venue. Good show. Really bad combo. Disappointed.

One of the Best Bottomless Brunches in Sheffield! Had an amazing time at Mojo's for bottomless brunch with friends. At £40, it's great value—similar price to others in the area, but here you get bottomless pizza alongside bottomless drinks, which really sets it apart. The service was top-notch. Our server Rachel was brilliant and even threw in a surprise breakdance! Big shoutout to Billy behind the bar for the incredible cocktails too. Definitely one of the best bottomless brunch experiences I've had—highly recommend it to anyone in Sheffield!

Quality night out. Under 18s can go until 7pm so we took my 12yo nephew who loved it. We did crazy golf £9 in around 30 mins, very good unique games including the golf maze and the elevator golf. Darts was £25/hr and was good fun for all ages, huge range of projected games to play- recommend playing killer! Had a DJ on a Saturday with good music and good atmosphere. Will definitely come back for some axe throwing / pool / shuffleboard. Drinks quite expensive and service to table was quite hit and miss with an order forgotten but otherwise very good night out.

Really fun place for some activities and drinking in Sheffield. They have axe throwing (though this is sober!! For good reason) and we loved the digital darts - plenty of games to choose from, lots of fun and not too badly priced. They also have student discount.

Axe throwing was a great experience for a friends birthday, such a laugh and Ryan was a brilliant instructor and made the game even funnier. Highly recommend!!

Had a great time there for our friends' birthdays. Booked minigolf and karaoke as a surprise (came to £25 per person, so great value for money!) The staff were super helpful helping us make all the activities booked a complete surprise. Can't remember the name of the member of staff who sorted our bookings but they made our experience there super fun and enjoyable.

Staff was extremely racist to my friend with absolutely no reason too.

Staff for the most part are very, very rude (last three times I've been in to give it a chance). I used to co-run the bar before the takeover (yeah, sorry) and it's almost back to when we first took it on... blunt staff with no eye contact, managers refusing service to sober people who were conducting themselves appropriately and with the right attire with no explanation (I know they don't need to legally, but still) - just mustn't have liked the look of them I guess - even though they were happy to entertain groups of fellas who were nice enough but clearly hammered and loud at 2pm and annoying other customers in their personal space. Bar staff floating and not serving, then 'huffing' when asked to pour a pint. Small male manager with glasses not even addressing the customers who were asking questions and answering to staff to convey what is clearly within earshot (I was 2feet away from him). Left due to pure disbelief at its operation as a pub in general. Security guy was lovely though.

Came here for some chill work drinks after work on a Wednesday. Was extremely quiet so didn't need the reservation I had made in the end! I would guess that it gets very busy at peak times though given the area that it's in. Everyone really enjoyed their food and drinks, and the outdoor area too which was nice as it was sunny. The staff were also great about my allergies that I mentioned - the chef informed me that he just wasn't sure about the sauce on the burger so would I like to swap it for something else, which I appreciated - I would rather they be honest about any uncertainty! It made me feel really confident about what I was eating. Would definitely recommend coming here!

Had a Roast Dinner this afternoon with my family, who visited from Leicester. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food, best Sunday lunch I’ve had in AGES. Would definitely come back and will definitely recommend - also great value for what you’re getting!!!

Great spot for grabbing a pint in Neepsend! The vibe’s laid-back with both indoor and outdoor seating — perfect whether you’re chasing sunshine or hiding from the rain. Staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. Bonus points for being open late, which is always a win in this part of town. Plus, they’ve got dart boards if you’re feeling a little competitive after a couple of drinks. Definitely one to keep in the rotation!

Came here for the Sunday roast and it was absolutely fantastic and delicious. You get a lot for your money too (Sunday Roast £13). We thought the price was excellent. I went for the Lamb, tender and full of flavour. Staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. The interior was very cool as well, plus very comfy seats. Already recommending this place to others.

Great food and service but I would recommend not going if you’re a Sheffield United fan! I went for the SUFC play off final, obviously the bar can’t control who goes in there and this is no criticism on the bar but during the second half of the match there were a group of Sheffield Wednesdays fans by the dart boards who were walking up and down cheering when Sunderland scored and being quite intimidating towards me and other united fans in the bar. Like I said it’s not the bars fault but if you ever want to watch a united match I’d suggest going elsewhere

Excellent food and brilliant staff. Beer decent, but the whole place tries a bit too hard to be retro. Won't be a problem to most, but I have to knock a star off for it.

Theming itself like a social club, you would be forgiven for presuming that food wouldn't be prioritized here, but you would be wrong- wow was it good! Unpretentious British food, cooked extremely well and presented beautifully. This place does the kind of home cooked style comfort food you really want to eat, and does it with a focus on flavour and quality. Prices were also very affordable and fair. It's a really fun chilled place to hang out, with great local craft beers on tap, games like darts and table football (that James won a match of by the skin of this teeth), and a really cool interior reminiscent of a working men's club but with a new modern twist on the theme. Staff were also super friendly and helpful -and there was Aircon! Food we tried - 🥚🥔 Cheese and leek rissole with a hendos egg, crunchy and cheese and the hendos egg went perfectly. 🫒🧀 Green veg with fetta on toast, fresh and delicious 👌 🍗🍟Chicken in a basket with chips gravy and slaw - I'm gonna say it - the best fried chicken I've ever had 😱 really juicy and crunchy with a sticky drizzle. The peppery gravy just made it too 10/10 meal. 🍖🌿Pork chop with bubble & squeak and cider gravy - super juicy tasty pork ! Caper herb salad made it spot on too. Another top notch plate of food. 🍧 Knickerbocker glory - one of the best puds I've ever had ! Yummy red berry compot, cream and custard and crunchy nut brittle and biscuit bits. Absolute heaven. Might have to get one just for me next time 😂 On another note we are so happy these guys went with the honest Neepsend name 💪 -Instead of all this extended Kelham washing. 😂 If you know you know 😂 Already planning my next work do here, and we will definitely be back on the regular. Told the bouncer I got punched twice by the same guy. Bouncer told me to leave the club. I promise this bus the worst run club in Sheffield. Steer clear there are so many better clubs out there. If you wanna get punched round the jaw, this is the place for you!!!!

Came for an event and quite impressed with the sound system and visuals. However, we had to queue for about an hour, despite paying for tickets as they only had one ID checker. Also there is a £10 minimum bar spend and the drinks are quite pricey for up north but to be expected for a rated club I guess. Also no tap water, only bottled which they want cash for.

Changed time of event last minute left us stood in weather until half 9 when the event was meant to start entry at 8, they charge 3.50 for water and don’t let you leave to buy your own Which is just dangerous when 90% of the people there are off their face, they had majority of the main names on early so by 1 am we were that bored of it we left and even if it wasn’t boring you couldn’t cope rest of night with how little ventilation it has, all in all artists was class, staff were rude, and owner knows less about event organising than all garried out 16yr olds they let run riot round there, wouldn’t recommend in the slightest it isn’t a safe venue

I travelled a far way for the Cru2 event being held in this venue and i strongly regret it. We turned up and straight away the security was very rude accusing us of lying about “showing our tickets” even though the girls scanning the tickets let us straight through without mentioning anything about it. After then accusing us of lying and making us feel very uncomfortable they was very aggressive towards other people in the club. After being made to feel this way we proceeded to leave after a very uncomfortable 15 minutes.

It was my first time at tank night club and most definitely my last, my whole experience was about 15 mins which in comparison to our 3.5hour trip isn’t worth it and it all started when entering, the ticket girls who were occupied with talking to someone didn’t make it clear that they were actually ticket girls, so we missed the ticket scan following that I was then met by a bouncer who clearly forgot that he was indeed a bouncer at a night club and Not an SAS soldier who then proceeded to interrogate me as to why I haven’t scanned my ticket and called me a liar. Once that was sorted we then cautiously headed in realising very quickly that this sweat box could have been used as a torture chamber we made a swift exit before any long term damage to our immune systems occurred. Stay away at all costs.

Came here with the family and everything was perfect! Great vibe with a DJ playing and all the food was fantastic. Our 9 Year old loved the triple stack burger and the smoke theatricals when it was served at the table. The games room (Playhouse) at the back of the venue was a great addition and our kids loved the basketball machines specifically. Can't wait for our next visit! Will try the brunch next time with a group of friends

Cocktail masterclass - absolutely fantastic and the lovely Jemima was incredible! We laughed, drank copious amounts, made friends with others in attendance and were taught how to make the perfect cocktail! The experience included games, races and forfeits, all of which had us cracking up throughout! Jemima made us feel comfortable and entertained and the experience didn’t feel rushed whatsoever, which is something that I was apprehensive about in all honesty. The 3-course meal that followed was faultless and overall, it was an excellent afternoon and an experience that I would highly recommend. 5-star host, venue, ambience and afternoon!!

Our server was called Chaitrail. We came in for a bottomless brunch she was so attentive and accommodating. She made sure we had drinks on order promptly and made us feel so welcome. We were celebrating our alevel exam results and the experience was so amazing. She deserves so much recognition.

Atmosphere is really pleasant, the decoration is lovely. The food is really nice, though not hot enough and the service is a bit slow so i would recommend to reserve earlier in. We needed to pay 6£ the service which we were not warned about. Plus, the portion of rice served with the chicken curry was a bit disappointed… Other than that the waitresses are really pleasant and are making sure you are having a nice time. Still recommend if you need to celebrate an event with you’re family :)

The ambience is great. cocktails, drinks, and wine are of great variety and cocktails are very well done. Most of the food we ordered is tasty, particularly starters and desserts but in contrast to others mentioned about hangling kebabs we didn't like them, they are not hot when served, so we didn't like them, the veg kebabs are better than others but lamb kebabs are felt dried and they are not hot.

I recently organised a 70th birthday party at the Botanist. Since moving from Leopold Square the Botanist layout and overall decoration is much improved. The bar area has a modern vibe with good views and an outdoor seating area. We received a good welcome from their staff and after drinks we then moved to the restaurant. That’s when the evening went down hill. The food overall was decidedly average and it was served to our table in dribs and drabs. Most of our party complained that their food was not warm. Presentation was poor and the Arancini starter was tasteless and miniature in stature. Having previously visited the Botanist at Leeds l was very disappointed in comparison to the overall quality of our food. Our young waiter was helpful and friendly but the kitchen appears to be where the problem are with the delivery of food to the table slow and unorganised. The restaurant did very little to make the night special for the lady who we organised the party for. General opinion was our party was that the Botanist was a nice place to have a drink but not for a meal. The Botanist needs to raise it game if it has any chance of long term survival in today’s competitive environment.

The Famous hanging kebabs are delicious and so are the desserts. Yes it’s a little pricey but you get what you pay for. The service is good, but they are overworked, at times it’s really busy. But overall an amazing restaurant with beautiful decor and nice food in the centre of Sheffield 👌🏻📸

Prob one of the best bars in Sheffield - downstairs party room, upstairs balcony, mega comfy chairs, friendly staff, awesome finger food and great cocktails and shots. Tons of plants and flowers and art deco design to copy the original Botanist in Sloane Square. Will go again
