Located in Modica Alta, Locanda Del Colonnello offers a modern Sicilian dining experience in a charming white setting. The restaurant takes classic dishes and gives them a contemporary Sicilian twist, such as the tramezzino filled with lamb shoulder, artichoke, pecorino cheese and mint or the Roman cacio e pepe pasta made with local piacentino ennese cheese. While not all dishes may be equally impressive, the high standards are evident.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Ragusa, Caffè Italia is a charming bar that invites you to savor delightful moments steeped in history. This café prides itself on its traditional preparation methods and meticulous selection of exquisite coffee blends, ensuring each visit feels special. Just steps away from the stunning Cathedral of San Giovanni Battista, it’s an ideal spot to indulge in local delicacies like Arancini di Provolone while enjoying a hot drink or dessert on their spacious terrace.
Best location & great price. 3€ for cappuccino & a couple delicious cookies. Right on the duomo square. I thought I would be a tourist trap but it’s not. The nicest waiters. There were done tourists; waiters spoke some English. Clean bathrooms (a good sign always). Loved it.
Hilarion M — Google review
Thought it would be a tourist trap but I was wrong. Solid place in a beautiful location with lovely service. The price is great (3.20euros for an affogato and latte). Their chocolate ice cream was very good and from Modica (known for its traditional way of making chocolate). They had many options for gifts and sweets, and some savoury ones. I would go back

A must. The best service, delicious coffee and pastries. We visited here every morning we stayed here. So friendly. Open early till late. Highly recommend 👌
Mark C — Google review
Beautiful caffè and pasticceria. There are tavola calda options, so one can enjoy a full meal, as well as snacks, such as arancini, cipolline, panini. Alongside this, there is a large display of Sicilian cakes- all of which were fabulous. I wohld thoroughly reccomend. The caffè also sells food gifts, like artisinal chocolate bars, wines, and almond sweets.
Louisa H — Google review
My favorite caffe in Ragusa so far! Situated in the heart of the city, always sunny which is important in winter, super delicious croissants and bakery in general, very fresh and cheap, as well as coffee. During the lunch time they serve amazing healthy food, many vegetarian options. I highly recommend this place!
Iren P — Google review
Beautiful Italian café spot in the heart of Ragusa. Excellent coffee and delicious Italian pastry. The waiters are really friendly and cooperative - you'll always find a spot to sit, chill and read your newspaper.
Matthias S — Google review
What a nice surprise! Normally nobody would expect such a cafeteria close to a main tourist attraction of Ragusa. But this one is an exception! Very good typically sicilian sweets with an extraordinary cost effectiveness! You will also find some other specialities from sicily like vine from A. Occhipinti, donnafugata and other magnificient vineyards.

The pasticcerie is delicious! Never seen so many different biscotti. And they have real butter croissants. Nom nom!

Bar
Al Borgo is a great espresso bar with amazing views of the Duomo di San Giorgio. The coffee is delicious and the service is friendly, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy some delicious coffee. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm, making it ideal for catching up with friends or loved ones.
Al Borgo is a small authentic bistro, it serves very tasty food, I particularly recommend the bruschetta Trinacria, and the drinks and coffee leave nothing to be desired. The staff are incredibly friendly and the general atmosphere in Piazza Duomo is exactly what I want from a bistro in Italy. Al Borgo is one of the reasons why I really wanted to come back to Ragusa a second time and I can only recommend it to anyone.
Noah K — Google review
We stopped for a quick lunch during our walking tour. A nice selection of salads and street food in a beautiful setting.
Milton S — Google review
Asked to use the toilet but were refused cause we weren't customers. The waitresses were sitting down with a frown near the entrance. They got annoyed when I sat down ordering an espresso for €1.50 so my daughter could use the toilet. Friendly service looks different. A bit of a smile and some open arms for potential customers would be more enticing. Thank you.

This is the best place for me to both work and relax. Ive been living in Ragusa Ibla since February until May. And this was the sweet spot in Ragusa Ibla for me. The people who work here are so nice and the food and tutti is top! Especially the Greek salat! And cannolo wow. Grazie Mille Al Borgo 🙏☀️ David

The B&J pub pizzeria offers an enjoyable dining experience with delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. The pizzas are highly regarded, being considered among the best in all of Italy. The staff is extremely polite and the prices are reasonable. In addition to their excellent pizza, they also serve fantastic cocktails. The location of the restaurant is convenient as well.
Amazing place and a real hidden gem. Seating outside and air-conditioned inside is available with the friendliest service. I asked for 2 different pizzas that were not on the menu, and they delivered it in style. Great tasting food, full of flavour and ice cold drinks all served at very competitive prices. Highly recommended and thanks again
Theuns J — Google review
I've eaten a ridiculous amount of pizza in my life 😅 Seriously, way more than I'd like to admit. But this? This was easily one of the best I've ever had!! Absolutely outstanding. Perfectly airy crust, generous toppings, and creative combinations that actually work. Nothing to criticize, just pure pizza perfection. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!! Try "Siciliana" What a good combination Well done 🙏
Florian B — Google review
Tired of pasta and looking for pizza we came upon this place. The look inside was so unique with the exposed stone arch ceiling. The staff were supper friendly, especially our waitress Alessia! Her English is very good and she was supper sweet and helpful. We each got our own “adult” size pizza and they were amazing!!!! None of us had any red sauce on it. I just wonder because we are coming from America, what we know as pizza is not correct and we just have lower standards? Cus the 3 we had were delicious and different!!! And the crust was so good! They had 2 German beers on tap. If I lived in the area I would always get pizza from here.
Josefina C — Google review
Tasty pizzas at very reasonable prices. Friendly and efficient service and cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Richard Z — Google review
Cheap, good sized, and delicious pizza… neapolitan crust ( which is the best!) good local beer selection
Susan W — Google review
The most charming find in Ragusa Ibla! Quaint atmosphere outside under the arch. Enjoyed the Sciliana pizza and it was delicious! Service with Serena was top notch. Highly recommend!
Amy P — Google review
Top spot just off a main street. Loved the simplicity of the pizza here where crust and toppings were as close to perfect as I've had. For people who love American style pizza - DON'T COME HERE. If you love real authentic pizza however, this is your place. Great staff who were kind and attentive to our Aussie family who have ZERO Italian in their vocabulary. Highly recommend this place for food, drink and atmosphere.

Nice change to the Ragusa vibe. Definitely more of a pub feel, though most of th seats are outside in the summer. There's a solid American food selection for those tourists who need it (though don't waste a meal on it given how much good food is here). There's also a great beer selection.

Decanter Full Proof is a charming bar located on Piazza San Giovanni in Ragusa, Sicily, Italy. Run by Pepe and his wife Barbara, this establishment offers an impressive array of beers for patrons to sample. The highlight of their menu is the delectable fried fish mix served in a large decanter. The staff is known for being welcoming and prices are reasonable.
What first attracted me to seek out Decanter Full Proof was the the amazing beer selection right up my snobby beer preference ally and also the smiling faces I saw on all social resources...and Full PROOF is right> the beers are TOP notch and the owners and environment are so wonderful! Dinner is also divine, the steak, I can't even say how delicious and lots of love put into the cooking and presentation. The deconstructed cannoli, the Ricotta was exquisite again, so happy. Do not miss the cutest, absolutely delicious and most welcoming bar in Ragusa historic Center! My hats off to Barbara and Peppe!
Leah C — Google review
Unwelcoming Staff and Disappointing Service Policy I stopped by this venue while my partner briefly used the restroom, and I asked if I could order a coffee. To my surprise, the staff member—who was quite abrupt—refused, stating that only alcoholic drinks were being served at that time. There was no signage or explanation indicating such a restriction, which felt unnecessarily limiting and unaccommodating. When my partner returned, we decided to leave, as we believe customers should have the freedom to choose between alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, not be pressured into ordering what suits the staff or establishment. As we were leaving, the same staff member made us feel uncomfortable with her attitude and dismissive behavior. Overall, this experience left a very negative impression. Basic courtesy and customer choice are key in hospitality, and unfortunately, neither were present during our brief visit.
Claudio S — Google review
Very friendly, excellent food and great selection of beer. Looking forward to another visit later today.

Shame on you guys!!! What a terrible waitress. We asked if we could have table for some drinks and everything was ok. While I went to the toilet with my daughter(14y) my husband tried to order some coffee and water, which she refused to sell. Only alcohol she said!! Of course we had to leave because I don’t want my 14y old to have a pint, she told us off as we should not use the toilet, when she would be the one telling us at the door not to seat as we had a minor with us.. SHAME ON YOU

Brasseria, a popular pub in Ragusa, is famed for its top-notch patties that are taken seriously by expats. This establishment prides itself on its delectable bun and beef combination, complemented by fresh lettuce and delightful cheese. Whether you opt for the classic cheeseburger or more innovative combinations, the quality remains consistently excellent. Their fries are also noteworthy - both nice and exquisite.
Good, simple food in central Ragusa. We had the Cheeseburger and the spicy Tiziano. Decent prices and they have a variety of local beers.
Marc M — Google review
I'm speechless. Walk into a craft beer bar. Out of 10 taps only four are hooked up. After asking what they have, I get the usual clown kindergarten color answer (white, dark etc). After a bit of prompting the gal looks it up and can at least say one is an IPA and another a porter. I order an IPA. It's warm. I mean very warm. I ask if they have a cold one. Nope. So I ask for ice. At least I got these cocktail thingies that don't melt water into your beer... 5 minutes later the beer is cool enough. Not bad. Not great. At least amusing...

The food is good and at a decent price. They have a good selection of beers. The waiting time is a bit long taking into account that it's a burguer place. Recommendable.

The best patties in Ragusa, as an expat I take it really seriously and they don’t joke around, good bun and beef, with some fresh lettuce and good cheese. You can go with the classic cheeseburger or more developed combinations, everything’s good. Nice (and exquisite) fries. I just think they can improve their cheddar melting, its got a strange texture.

I really would like to give this place a 5 star review, the location is beautiful, the staff is lovely - truly amazing people and professionals at what they do. House sangria was TOP - I don't think I have tasted a better sangria than it is place . Arancini? Again, amazing ! However, I wouldn't suggest taking the burger.. the bread was stale, and the burger overall was dry. Would come back, but this time would go for a charcutiere platter and definitely another arancini !

Officina 31 is an absolute gem! The salumi e formagi mix plate was simply divine, full of flavour. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, making the whole experience warm and welcoming. The wine list is impressive, with a fantastic range to choose from. The location is unbeatable, offering a stunning view of the duomo. It’s a real treat, perfect for soaking up the atmosphere while enjoying great food and drinks. Highly recommended!
John D — Google review
Try this cocktail and change your life! OK, a bit dramatic perhaps. But on a short stop here, just for a drink in the shade of the umbrella, gazing at the magnificent Duomo just up the hill, the pane cunzato cocktail I chose absolutely blew my socks off and changed the way I will view cocktails. Pane cunzato is a local bread dish, but it has been reimagined here into liquid form - two glasses that combine to form a wonderful sipping treat. It’s impossible to do anything else other than sip and savour - it’s that good. The taller glass is all olive oil vodka, ginger and bitter lemon, the smaller second hot with chilli and soda. Individually lovely, together amazing. Don’t take my word for it. Give it a try! And the food is great too.

Umore is a charming restaurant located in the heart of Marina di Ragusa, known for its delectable pasta dishes and friendly staff. Situated in a central position, it offers a great dining experience with its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere.
We had great Pasta here. Super friendly stuff and a great place to be in Marina di Ragusa!
Tanja W — Google review
We stopped here initially for an aperitivo/drinks and appetizers but ended up enjoying it so much that we stayed for dinner! Cocktails were creative and tasty and the appetizers were amazing (giardiniera was some of the best we ever had). I was especially happy to find that they had frittura mista di pesce gluten free and even have a completely gluten free fryer! As a celiac this was a great discovery and so we asked if they also had gluten free pasta-and they did! Overall supper satisfied with the meal, great flavors and loved that they were so adaptive to my dietary restriction. Highly highly recommend!

Starters were bad (No garlic within the Bruschetta, bread bone dry). Main dish Carbonara very good, filled squid quite ok, but expensive. Also the Timing was bad (Starters and main dishes were served together). Bruschetta was not billed, therefore ok.

(Translated by Google) Restaurant in Marina di Ragusa… and beyond The Umore restaurant was a nice novelty I tried upon my return to Marina di Ragusa. The menu is super inviting and varied between tradition and modernity. It also offers an excellent selection of cocktails and drinks before and after meals or even to accompany "just" spizzuliando, with appetizing appetizers to delight the palate. Location a few steps from the beach with terrace overlooking the sea, good value for money, raw materials chosen and presented with professionalism and passion. Highly recommended! (Translated by Google) Having read the reviews, I can confirm my rating as EXCELLENT. The carbonara was delicious (and I'm Roman). The tagliolini with white octopus ragù was also excellent. The main courses were well-prepared and unpredictable, both meat and fish. Cocktails accompanied the meal. Low bill. Best option for me in Marina di Ragusa. (Original) Lette le recensioni confermo il giudizio OTTIMO, buonissima la carbonara (e sono romano). Ottimi anche i tagliolini al ragù bianco di polpo. Radio Rock is a popular spot known for its fantastic aperitifs at affordable prices. Unlike other places that offer standard snacks, Radio Rock stands out with its high-quality cutting board featuring focaccia, cold cuts, and tapas. The bar boasts an impressive selection of craft beers and Belgian brews, complemented by helpful recommendations from the friendly bartender. Guests can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere with a rocking soundtrack while also having the option to relax on the terrace.
The best cocktail bar in town, you can experience the taste of every bit of kindness and professionalism each time you take a sip, I can’t stop coming back to try new flavours, and each time I go back, I can’t have enough of it. Truly the best of the best. What I eat or drink there it’s worth more than the actual price.

The place is amazing, good music, unique style. Something different then usual in the city from someone that came from the uk was a surprise to find a place like this. The staff was amazing, very polite. The vibes was good, dancing, singing and enjoying a quiet evening in chill with friends and family. The drinks were something new, very great combo and explosions of flavour. One of the greatest pub that I’ve ever been in the country. Satisfaction 10/10.

Great alternative pizzas! If you are looking for a place where you can try a pizza with unusual toppings, this is definitely a good place for that. There are not many to choose from, but they are delicious. You can even stay for some drinks afterwards because they have a wide selection of beers, wine and cocktails. And it's just a plus that they play great music and the waiters are really nice too.

(Translated by Google) I went to this pizzeria for the first time last night and I was really excited! The environment is welcoming, with attention to detail, with a warm and familiar atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The staff was kind, smiling and very attentive to the needs of the customers. The pizza? Simply delicious. The dough was light and well leavened, with perfect cooking in the wood oven. I tried a margherita with buffalo mozzarella and I must say it was exceptional: fresh and tasty ingredients, just the right amount of sweet tomato and mozzarella that melted in your mouth. Even the most unusual pizzas had creative and well-balanced combinations. The selection of craft beers and local wines was also good, which perfectly accompanied the meal. To finish, I had a homemade tiramisu: soft, creamy and not too sweet, exactly how I like it. Excellent value for money. I will definitely be back, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy an authentic and quality pizza.
