For whatever reason Google seems to want me to review the hotel instead of the restaurant. I did not stay the night, just dined, so that is what I'll review. It was all overall good, as one would expect, but I will briefly comment on some of the dishes. the first two starter courses were not very remarkable, subtle. it was not a very strong start. I was quite annoyed to be made to eat with my fingers items that were either stuck to the plate with sauce or dusted with paprica, my napkin suffered the consequences. I did not get any tuna in the Ventresca dish, the tomato gelatin was very water. I will note however that the banana half-rounds were overpowered by the mustard. It also affirmed my prejudice against partridge, the taste with the chocolate sauce was excellent but finding small bones was not, the consomé I could have lived without. I think that the absolute star of the night was the pork flan with caviar, a rich, delicious umami explosion, the "Careta" with crayfish in foie sauce was also excellent, as was the scallion juice dish and the squid ink bun. Those dishes really packed in all the flavor i felt was lacking in some of the others. The wine was excellent. Overall a great experience, the service was flawless, discreet and attentive. My qualms are that for the hefty price of the menu, I would have liked to get more flavor in the starting courses, plus not getting my hands dirty and finding bones. Otherwise excellent.

We stayed at Atrio Cáceres over the weekend. The staff were simply outstanding. Attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Cleanliness was also at a very high level. That said, the room felt rather basic for the price, and the air conditioning struggled with the heat, both in the room at night and in the public areas, which was uncomfortable. Breakfast, unfortunately, did not meet the standard one would expect from a luxury hotel. At the restaurant, service and wine selection were truly impressive, and the dishes were beautifully presented, but the flavors did not quite deliver the wow effect we had hoped for from a three-star Michelin experience. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but there is definitely room for improvement to make it truly unforgettable.

I always feel a little nervous about signing up for a tasting menu, because I know the meal is going to be long and expensive -- but I don't know if I'm going to enjoy it. There's no question of that at Atrio, which suited our group so well that we were still talking about specific dishes for days afterward. Pig is part of every dish, but I would say that only half of them were particularly pork-focused. (Unexpectedly, I think one of my favorite elements of the meal turned out to be all the lard-crisp pastry in the appetizers.) Service was also excellent! I'm very glad we visited.

The complete restaurant staff are outstanding making us feel like we were having a family dinner. The food is indescribably delicious. The hotel is just perfect in every way. Lastly, Jose, the sommelier, served us an unforgettable wine. We did not do the pairing but heard from other guests the wines were just as amazing as the food. One more thing, breakfast is a continuation of the previous dinner, scrumptious and beautifully served. We leave with wonderful memories and a great taste in our mouth, literally!

I went to this restaurant last night and I really wished I could’ve stayed an extra day in Cáceres to try more of their food options. The staff greeted us warmly, the service was amazing and the food was absolutely exceptional. Flavorful and the portion size of the tapas were perfect. 10/10 recommend and will definitely return during my next visit.

Located on Plaza Major, great location to eat outside with a view. Usually on main places you have mostly touristic places, but this restaurant is different ! We had lunch there, we took the polpo, percebes and zambiriñas, and solomillo de cerdo. Food was well prepared, and nicely presented. Seafood was very fresh. Staff is nice and helpful. Very good value for money also. That's definitely a good place to stop by during your visit at Cáceres!

We went here after our walk around the old town. No reservations, ring the bell & someone will come to either let you in or tell you how long it is going to be before a table will be available. We got a table after about 20 minutes. The food was excellent; we had pork cheeks with mash potatoes & sauce, baclava in a hot cheese sauce & croquettes. The warm bread roll came in a small bag (to keep it warm). We also had a couple of drinks including a zero alcohol malt beer. Great value for about €35 in total. We really enjoyed being in La Cacharreria for a long no rushing tapas lunch.

Three good-sized, tasty tapas and 4 glasses of nice Vinho Verde for €35 in a quiet, tasteful setting. Opens 8.30pm and there was a short queue. Unlikely you´ll get in if you are in a group as most tables are for couples. Service a bit unfriendly, but not rude.

I find the place overall pretentious for a very average place. There was a gate that blocked the entrance and you needed the personnel to open it so you could enter. My husband needed to go change clothes due the cold inside and they wouldn't let him in when he returned. Inside most of the tables were bar style tall tables with uncomfortable stools. The decoration is nice but there was a weird silence when we entered which made us feel uncomfortable. There is only one toilet so the waiting time can be long. The service was fast overall but the waiters came twice with the wrong plates that were destined for other tables. We were 3 people and we tried to order 3 plates but we were advised to order more since the portions were small. That was actually good advice because the portions were small and all the plates we ordered had 8.5 Euros. The quality of the food was average overall. One plate was spicy and there was no comment on the menu about it. We ordered a glass of "Habla de ti" white wine that was too acidic and tasted like a wine from a carton.
