Brasserie
La Flottille is a classic French brasserie located in Versailles, offering traditional French cuisine in a charming setting. The restaurant overlooks the Grand Canal and provides a peaceful atmosphere for visitors to relax and enjoy their meal. With both indoor and outdoor dining areas, guests can savor their food while taking in picturesque views of the canal and the chateau. Additionally, La Flottille caters to groups with a maximum capacity of 200 people.
After visiting the palace and gardens, we had lunch at La Flottille, where we had reserved a table when buying our Versailles tickets - i do recommend it. The service was absolutely top-notch – 10/10. Our waiter was extremely kind and attentive can even say one of the best ever. Alongside our meal, we enjoyed a bottle of excellent wine and a truly delicious dessert. A perfect way to relax and recharge after hours of walking. Highly recommended if you’re spending the day at Versailles!
Sebastjan S — Google review
Our recent dining experience, based on a pre-arranged set menu, showcased satisfactory food quality. The French fries were particularly well-prepared, exhibiting a desirable balance of crispness and texture. The fish and sausage dishes were acceptable. Service was adequate, and the restaurant accommodated a sizable number of patrons. The establishment's central location proved convenient.
Toney S — Google review
We were able to walk in for lunch without a reservation but it was late after 13:30. We were seated on the patio which was lovely except for wasps. The food came out really quickly. I had the Onion Soup and it was great. My family had fish and chips and it was good. The bar inside is really beautiful. It was a nice relaxing lunch to break up our walk to the Trianon estates.
Paolo — Google review
It's a perfectly located restaurant in the garden of versailles by the lake. What more do you want? Amazing French restaurant offering interesting meals at a reasonable price. The waiters seemed so hectic and was a bit hard to watch and also hard to get their attention but when we do, they are amazing. Loved every minute here.
DNA K — Google review
Damn incredible vibe, food and staff. Unexpectedly high quality for inside a tourist attraction. Definitely come here for lunch on your Versailles visit you won’t regret it,
Benjamin C — Google review
Excellent place for a delicious lunch near Versailles! Staff is friendly and service is quick. It can get extremely busy at lunch, so I recommend arriving earlier than 1 pm to secure a table if you don't have a reservation. There are tables inside and outside near the lake. Highly recommend sitting outside when weather permits!
Lauren C — Google review
The place seems interested only in the flow of tourists, not in their experience. The service is rushed, lacking professionalism and attention, and unfortunately, the food does not meet expectations. An experience focused more on quantity than on quality.
MTS — Google review
A fab place to fuel up / unwind between visiting the different areas of the Versailles Palaces and grounds. The staff were lovely and the service super quick. Would recommend the onion soup and Croque Monsieur for the genuine French foodie experience!

La Table du 11 is a stylish restaurant located in the Cour des Senteurs, Versailles. The restaurant offers creative and modern dishes prepared with local and seasonal ingredients. The Cour des Senteurs itself has been transformed into a tranquil courtyard featuring trendy shops, a tea room, and La Table du 11. This urban promenade leads to the oldest quarter in Versailles and the famous Potager du Roi (the King's kitchen garden).
Table 11, a one star Michelin restaurant and recognized by Gault & Millau, was my favorite dinner in my 1 week stay in Paris. Just 10-ish miles outside of the city and located in a quaint corner a few blocks from Versailles is a must. I ordered the 7-course tasting menu and each dish was fantastic, bright, balanced and beautifully presented. I wanted 2-3 glasses of wine to pair with my dinner and the Sommelier created a pairing that paced well with the 7-courses. The staff were extremely helpful, attentive, and worked together like clockwork. Pro-tip: book a 1930 reservation to make the last train back to Paris
Nichole K — Google review
They only have two options - 4-courses and 7-courses. Given the small portion, I’d recommend the 7-course one if you’re hungry. They have wine pairing too. Food is awesome and impressive! Love the sweetbread and the dessert. I’ll come again if I visit the city.
Wing K — Google review
Exceptional food and service. One of the best restaurants I've been in France. Well worth the Michelin Star. I had the 4 course meal at lunch and for me thought it was about right. But if you are hungry, might choose the 7 course.
Mucio M — Google review
Not only the best restaurant we’ve eaten at in France, but the best restaurant we’ve ever eaten at. First off, the staff and service were phenomenal. They were on point. Loved the minimalistic environment and the small details like the plate ware. Presentation of the dishes were all beautiful. We did the tasting menu. Every single dish was amazing. We were always excited to see what the next dish would be. We also had a hard time picking a favorite! Also the wasabi butter? I hate wasabi and that was the best damn butter I’ve ever had hahaha. They were very accommodating to our English speaking as well. I would hands down go back here. Absolutely worth every penny. Thank you! And sorry for rushing out so fast, we had to catch a train!
Kassi Z — Google review
The dish was extremely delicious. I’m always depressed about how normal chef cooks fish, because I come from where fish are delicately and deliciously cooked. At this restaurant the fish was surprisingly deliciously cooked . I wondered why this restaurant stays bib groumand, not michellin star. The interior and every small items are all chic. Maybe this is because of the staff? Though I enjoyed the meals very much but I didn’t feel as comfortable as in the other luxurious restaurants. This is a shame. The price is rather generous than michellin star restaurants.
中尾桶屋 — Google review
We stumbled upon this place on the way to get coffee, we took a chance and asked if they had any spots for lunch and they did! We were shocked a Michelin star restaurant was willing to seat us without reservation. Food was incredible, service was good (not great - they are not personable and only come around to grab plates). They add an amuse bouche and chocolate truffle to every meal. PS if you don’t specifically go out of the way and ask for your bill you will never got it
Lindsay A — Google review
As someone new to this kind of dining let me just say, don't be intimidated! The staff here were incredibly helpful and nice. The menu has only a few things each day including vegetables and herbs from the garden of the chef. Our experience was either a 3 or 5 course meal to select from and you can choose a wine pairing to go with it. The prices were incredibly reasonable for this type of establishment and the food was insanely good. Every detail is thought of and the wait staff ensures a top notch dining experience. Make sure you get a reservation because this place can book up fast! We even got to shake hands with the chef after our meal. I highly recommend this place!

La Petite Venise is a charming restaurant located in the heart of the Palace of Versailles, offering an elegant dining experience with cobblestone floors and exposed beams. It's a perfect spot for a romantic rendezvous, family meal, or gathering with friends. The restaurant's bucolic setting between the Grand Canal and the Fountain of Apollo creates a pleasant atmosphere for visitors.
No wait, servers spoke good enough English for us to communicate and were attentive. The Veal was well cooked, the sauce was good and the tomatoes that came with it were amazing. The Gnocchi was very tasty, very tender gnocchi and an excellent pesto spinach sauce that was light and flavorful. Really tasty dish The Giadina was a chocolate mousse dish with a bit of pastry chips. I am not familiar with the dish but it was excellent Overall the food was extremely good, especially considering it is at Versailles, would definitely recommend eating here.
Michael A — Google review
A great place to eat when visiting Versailles Palace. Beware that it is about a 15-20 minute walk from the Palace through the gardens. The food was excellent. The service was a little slow but this didn’t affect our enjoyment. The converted barn is charming with many of the original features. An expensive but satisfying experience.
G M — Google review
I love it. We spent the whole day in Versailles so food option within the palace grounds is the best for us. Chose this place. It’s a bit more expensive but the food is spot on! The limoncello was also very delicious. It’s not overly sweet, it’s just right. I would recommend this place for lunch in Versailles.
Soren M — Google review
We visited today since lunch was included with our passport et dejeuner ticket at Versailles. We had such a lovely meal! Our meal included an appetizer, two entrees and a dessert, as well as coffee or tea. We decided to add on a bottle of wine as well. I didn’t expect much from a restaurant at Versailles but we were soooo pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was beautiful. The presentation of the food was the best we’ve seen so far in Paris and not only did the food look amazing but it was also delicious. Service was wonderful, the best we’ve had in Paris area so far! Roxane was our waitress and she was amazing! She was so kind, attentive, and her work ethic was top notch and even though there were a lot of people dining she made sure everyone’s experience was great. The rest of the staff was also very sweet, willing to take our picture and greeting us and saying good bye. We had such a great experience. Merci beaucoup!

I highly recommend making a reservation at this beautiful restaurant inside of the gardens at Versailles. The pasta with mushrooms and truffles was delicious, and the ambiance was perfect for discussing our day at the palace. The restaurant was full by 12:45 PM.
BKV — Google review
We had a wonderful time and we would absolutely visit and eat here again! The service was very professional. Give lots of time to get to the restaurant. The grounds are very large.
Melany C — Google review
TLDR: If you have ~ 1.5 hrs to kill come here sip on a sprits eat good food and enjoy the calm cool atmosphere of this place. A beautiful hidden patio on the grounds of the palace. The food was above average but the wait was far below. We visited towards the tail end of the lunch service, just before 2 pm (14:00hr) , we waited ~30 min in line and another 15 before our order was placed. Was it worth the wait? Given the limited options around I guess so. For what it’s worth I did lick my bowl clean of its sauce. The truffle cream pasta did not disappoint and is a big recommendation!
Ryan S — Google review
This was part of the tickets for the palace. However, getting to this place by foot requires a bit of effort. Could use a few more signs for the foreign visitors like us. Though the ground staff were very helpful. They were plenty around and ready to assist. We were given a set meal option but were able to upgrade with just a few Euros. We opted for the orange apple ginger juice, the fish with bacon and fresh peas, and chicken with cabbage white sauce. I wasn't expecting something great, but the dishes were superb even though the service was a bit slow. The juice was refreshing. The ricotta and asparagus soup were delicious. Fish was perfectly cooked, flaky, and moist. Perfect with the crispy bacon with the peas. The chicken was seasoned well and tender.

Chez Tiouiche - Au Bon Accueil is a Moroccan-inspired restaurant located just outside the Palace of Versailles. It offers a menu filled with flavorful Maghreb dishes such as couscous, tajine, kefta skewers, and zalouk salad. The restaurant's interior is intricately decorated with vibrant artwork and geometric patterns, creating an inviting atmosphere for diners. Visitors can expect warm hospitality and a charming ambiance that complements the delicious cuisine.
We loved the food in this restaurant, all the Tajines were excellent and there is a good choice, but the quail Tajines is full of bones and takes a long time to eat, I would not take it again. The portions are generous. Unluckily there was no sparkling water any more on the day of our visit.
Monica P — Google review
We found this little gem near Versailles Palace, tucked away from the bustling streets. Arrived at opening time of 1200 with one other couple and by 1230-1300, the entire inside was full. Seemed like a family-run restaurant that locals frequented often. Loved the delicious food, decor/atmosphere, friendly wait staff, quick service and the manager (owner?) checking on each table ensuring guests are pleased. We ordered the couscous maison and tagine agneau maison - all of the meats were cooked perfectly, falling off the bones and the dish accompaniments were a nice added touch (garbanzos, raisins, spicy tomato paste).

A Moroccon gem near Versailles palace area and 30 minutes from Paris. If you want to dive into flavours of food and relish the meal, this is the place to go. After a long time in this area a true authentic flavours were felt deep in my heart. A must go place to enjoy this meal. Have fun and very reasonable pricing.

Excellent food and service. After finishing your couscous, your mouth and stomach feel still clean and not burning. Also the quality is great. The owner super joyful and friendly. Love this place.

Best meal i’ve had in Paris! Meat was extremely tender and everything was so flavourful. Generous servings and very friendly staff.
Ashley L — Google review
This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The staff were extremely rude, openly discriminatory, and made us feel completely unwelcome. It was so bad that we literally left without finishing our visit — that’s how unacceptable the behavior was. A restaurant should be a place where all guests are treated with respect, but this place failed miserably. I would never recommend it to anyone, and I sincerely hope management takes serious action to address the unprofessional and offensive conduct.
Nadia M — Google review
Great service, and extremely good food. They took us in as a large group when they were close to closing and it was an excellent experience.

Le Sept is a charming bistro located just a 15-minute walk from the palace gates in Versailles. The restaurant offers a daily menu of French classics listed on a blackboard brought to your table, featuring dishes made with fresh ingredients from local suppliers such as homemade foie gras, roasted cod, and ham with parsley sauce.
We’ve been coming back for a couple of years now. The menu hasn’t changed but they do have daily specials. The food always tastes delicious. The wine selection is always excellently paired with the food and if you tell them what your preference is they can somehow always find you the right wine. Friendly service and some of them can speak English. The place is quaint, sometimes you’re sitting in the middle of wine boxes, a bit cramped and the tables small but this contributes to the atmosphere.

The highlight of our trip to Paris! Wonderful and knowledgeable staff who made our experience so memorable. We were welcomed in from the rain and seated promptly, had wines and foods recommended appropriately and kindly, despite us not being wine experts! Small and cozy, but we never felt cramped. A true hidden gem! I'd give it 6 stars if I could!

Rustic Charm and Exceptional Cuisine at sept. in Versailles If you're looking for an authentic French dining experience in the heart of Versailles, look no further than sept. This rustic gem boasts amazing food, first-class service, and a cozy ambiance that will make you feel right at home. Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted by the host, Darius, who proved to be an absolute master of his trade. His wine suggestions were spot-on, perfectly complementing our meal at a reasonable 7 euros per glass. For starters, we opted for the lentils and herring - both were delightful and set the stage for the main course. My wife and I both ordered the bavette steak, and we were impressed with how perfectly they were cooked to our individual preferences. Mine was served "a point" (rare), while my wife's was a flawless medium-well. The cheese plate was a highlight of the evening, offering a generous selection of top-quality cheeses. We rounded out our meal with the decadent chocolate fondant, a dessert that left us utterly satisfied.

Don't spread the news: still absolutely the best place in Versailles, close to the castle and the bustling street of Montreuil It is true, I am not an occasional visitor of Le Sept. I go there at least once a week since four years now, and I never ever had a bad experience. It feels like a private dining room, the staff is like family ... the chef is exceptional and wears his smile wherever he goes. Darius and Nathanael are THE greatest wine experts you can imagine, and Edouard who joined recently as a second waiter has a great sense of service and does a great job. But again, don't spread the news, so that I still can get a table next time. When one day, you do not get a table here, go to La Buvette (38 rue Carnot in Versailles), which is the second Wine Bar which Le Sept opened recently. A great tip for the Olympic Games in summer, because it is even closer to the Versailles Castle

La Veranda, located in Versailles, offers an upscale dining experience with a commitment to accommodating various dietary needs. The restaurant's elegant decor, designed by renowned decorator Fiona Thompson, provides a charming contrast to the surrounding gardens. Guests can enjoy a diverse selection of continental cuisine and may opt for the popular Detox Menu featuring healthy options. Despite its high-end ambiance, La Veranda prides itself on providing attentive service and delicious meals without reservations being necessary.
We spend new year eve in La Veranda and took the dedicated menu. Quality of food was very good and service better than expected. It was allowed to change menu content and even the wine choice was quite flexible, what is not always standard in France. Overall a clear 5 Star rating and strong recommandation. Unfortunately that was not the case for the Hotel.

I enjoyed the food I had here. Gazpacho De Melon was very refreshing. Service was good. The restaurant was nice! The breakfast selection is ok. Staff was very pleasant. Loved their hot chocolate.
Connie Z — Google review
Our visit was very disappointing. We ordered the beef tartare, and the quality of the meat was far below expectations for a restaurant of this category and price level. The meat was sinewy, with coarse, stringy pieces that were poorly chopped – not at all the fine, tender texture you would expect from a proper tartare (see photos). Service was equally underwhelming. Seated at a side table, we were repeatedly overlooked. Most of the waitstaff in our section seemed to be trainees and, apart from one exception, appeared insecure and unprofessional. Overall, the experience did not match the restaurant’s standards or reputation.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Gordon Ramsey La Veranda at the Waldorf Astoria only a 3 min walk from the Versailles Palace. Highly recommend the beef cheeks, vegetables curry and the waiter who looked like actor Roddy McDowell. He was very amusing as he had a bit of a friendly dig at us. They’d just had a #ParisFashionWeek function. It’s a gorgeous hotel.once again us Aussie tourists were totally underdressed.loved the RR hotel car available.

This was a wonderful restaurant with great eats and a great atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed the service from the hostess stand to the table. They made me feel right at home. Everyone at this place is so professional and sweet. I noticed how helpful they are to one another helping serve dishes at the same time so everyone at the table were able to enjoy it at one time. The drinks were amazing and did not disappoint. I ordered the black tiger prawns with guacamole as an appetizer and the Irish beef aka steak with mashed potatoes. I’m literally planning my next visit here. I’m probably going to spend the rest of my trip enjoying dinner right here at La veranda! I just want to shout out my waiter and the team you all are amazing and I couldn’t ask for better french cuisine and an amazing experience!

La Véranda is the bar at the iconic Trianon Palace in Versailles, a beautiful place to enjoy a more relaxed experience away from central Paris. The property itself is massive, with stunning gardens that make a visit memorable, though the entire property, including the gardens, could benefit from some investment. The bar offers a lovely setting, particularly in the summer when drinks can be enjoyed on the veranda. The interiors feel a bit dated, giving early-2000s vibes rather than the timeless elegance of central Paris palaces. Service is friendly, though somewhat less polished and trained compared with luxury hotels in central Paris. Despite this, La Véranda and Trianon Palace remains a charming destination. The atmosphere is relaxed, the drinks reasonably priced for the setting, and the staff attentive. While the property as a whole could use some updating, the bar is still a beautiful spot to enjoy a drink and the historic surroundings. A visit here is worthwhile, especially for those seeking a calm and scenic escape from Paris.

Very nice food, wine, service and atmosphere. Views of the stables in the park next door improve the ambiance. Even better when the weather is summery as you can sit outside to enjoy the warmer temperatures and sunny skies. Wine selection is impressive and worth a look. Gordon Ramsay au Trianon, located in Versailles, offers an exceptional dining experience with a menu featuring exquisite dishes such as langoustine and lobster ravioli and Perigord foie gras prepared in two different ways. The restaurant also houses the Veranda, a more casual dining option serving modern bistro dishes. The signature dessert is the Roasted Apple with semi-salted caramel and passion fruit, accompanied by hazelnut sabayon ice cream.
I liked the service, the interior and the atmosphère. Food was great too, I’m giving 4 and not 5 just because I expected more extraordinarity for Michelen. I did not get any « wow effect ». But it was tasty, nicely decorated and balanced. I adored Beef Wellington, that is what I’d eat again! In general, great experience. I recommend.

On a crisp grey late Saturday afternoon, people filed in for afternoon tea, drinks or bites to eat. It looked like they were returning from time spend in the Gardens. We did the same. The pastries were exquisite and the Gordon Ramsey take on a burger the French style was very good although maybe a bit rich.
Chris P — Google review
Chef Gabriele and his team, and the maître d’hote were amazing. Extremely refined and rehearsed team. It was like a dance and we couldn’t hear the footsteps of the service team. There was always French baguette on our plates and water at the perfect amount. It was so nice to visit the kitchen. We loved our sommelier Alexis who passionately explained every wine and we enjoyed Amandine who is a cheese expert also. We will be back to dine here, and we felt very well fed here. A beautiful view and a great celebration of our marriage. Eating like Kings and Queens here at Trianon Palace is a historical transport in time like no other.

Amazing experience. This is the second time we visit chef Ramsay’s restaurant. As always it’s an amazing experience and atmosphere. Service was exceptional . Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Perfect breaks between the dishes makes it good 2.5 hours dinner. I took 7 courses chef menu. Despite the price might seem quite low you get a very good amount of dishes. All my dishes were cooked perfectly. I’m usually not an easy person to impress however at this place I left amazed Definitely recommend.

Visiting a Gordon Ramsay establishment is always a culinary experience, and so it was. Creative dishes presented in the most beautiful way. It’s a buck, but worth it for a good memory!

Excellent service and food. We chose the 7 courses menu dégustation, and there were three complementary finger food which goes with the apéritif that we ordered! What a surprise and they were really good! I put what we liked the most in the photos. Reasonable price for what we experienced last night. We will come back in the summer because I guess there will be a nicer view!

We booked this restaurant as we were staying in the hotel for a few days on our visit to Versaille. The hotel and restaurant are beautiful. Staff are friendly but for a restaurant of this calibre, very understaffed. Understaffing is a general theme of many businesses around the world, however, it shouldn’t be an issue in a restaurant in this class. That being said with the service as is, it limits its ability to achieve those coveted Michelin stars. Wine/champagne services was slow. On many occasions customers either poured their own or had to be prompted to refill their glasses. When it was poured they poured too much which caused it to be warm by the time it was consumed. We chose the Prestige tasting menu which was a 9 course tasting menu. I’ll point out only a few courses. Abnormally long waits between courses. Almost uncomfortably long. Might be short staffed (UPDATE: confirmed staffing shortage with the chef) We waited 30 min between course 4 and 5 out of 9 courses. We had to prompt the waitress who said she would go ask with the chef. The 5th course - that we waited for, was not worth the wait as they rushed presentation. The artichoke with the ricotta cheese again felt out of place with the sour berries and barley. The beef itself was flavourful, cooked to a perfect medium rare and went well with the sauce of cardamom and barley. Main waitress who served us agreed that too many flavours were added in the main course of beef. Also agreed with too much time between the courses. We asked them to speed up, which is not something I have ever had to do for a tasting menu. This was probably my 40th tasting menu and so I’ve never experienced it before. We got to meet the chef Gabriele Raviosa, a 35 year old chef with lots of energy and passion. He was really nice and will certainly go places. It’s not easy running a restaurant without all the staff that you need to provide the experience. So kudos to him for keeping it together as much as he did without the staff required. With better service and working on some of those flavour combinations this could easily be a 5/5

I will start with just a little criticism. And that is about the seafood mousse. There were too many flavors on the plate and I couldn’t focus on a few. The flavors competed with each other and it wasn’t savory. It was confusing because the vanilla and sweet taste did not complement the dish. Now the rest of the food was absolutely to die for. When I googled Michelin star restaurants and saw Gordon Ramsay, I was apprehensive. I expected a lot of hype due to a celebrity owned restaurant. However, the first course canapés would make anyone weep. The baguette and butter was divine also. Normally I hate Chardonnay and I call it Karen’s gasoline but the wine pairing with the bread and butter starter was absolutely amazing. I was also apprehensive about eating beef tongue but again I was shocked. The Pinot noir pairing was diving and the mixture of raspberries was complete genius. The bruschetta/olive/peeled grape plate was so fresh and savory. I also never thought I would try pigeon in my life and I found it’s one of my favorite dishes. The chef prepares it medium rare with red wine and it was heavenly. We ended with honeyed wine and a basil sorbet. This entire experience has inspired me to take up cooking and exploring new foods again. I appreciated every moment and especially the service. Our host from Colombia was extremely genial and attentive. I obviously recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to Versailles. Also, get the cheese platter it is completely worth the €22. Again, when I get home I am researching the wine list and finding every type of cheese I tried.

Ore - Ducasse au château de Versailles offers inventive high-end French cuisine, including brunch and high tea, in a stylishly revamped palace pavilion. The restaurant's name is a reference to the Latin word for mouth and a nod to the preferred color of French monarch Louis XIV, reflected in the interior design and cuisine presentation.
Ore: After a long day exploring Versailles — with the gardens still left to see — we wanted to sit down for a proper meal instead of grabbing takeout. We found this beautiful restaurant right inside the palace, and even without a reservation, we were welcomed with warmth. The food was exceptional — from the burrata with bread to the exquisite desserts and flavorful pork sandwiches. A truly memorable fine dining experience.

They were nice to find us a table without a reservation. The table overlooking the gold gate and square was nice. Food was good (onion soup, leeks/eel, lamb and pasta dish with truffles) were all prepared very nicely. Drinks came out slow and a tad sweet on all 3 different types of cocktails.

A beautiful establishment in the heart of the Palace of Versailles. The greeting was beautiful and menu explained to me. It was a great experience. I have never tasted better food. The eggs were light and fluffy. The food was extraordinary. I would definitely come again, and share the experience with others.

Well we were in the Versailles Palace as I have made my booking with Ore as Angelina had a long queue. I was kind of scared with all the reviews complaining how they have been overcharged and the food was blend — that was all wrong, the food was delicious and we have a great service tbh. We got the lunch special with a starter and main and ordered another plate to share. W e picked the “Beans and Mint Velute” for starters and agreed to pay +10Euros for the “Lamb Breast with Jus” — both were delicious but the main dish was phenomenal. We also ordered a Burratina to share, it was good but nothing spectacular. All in all we probably had one of the best lamb dishes in a long time and the velute starte was refreshing on a hot day. We were promptly seated to our table even thought we arrived 30 minutes prior to our booking and the service was pretty solid - contrary to what other people have said. Our experience at Ore was a really good one. I wouldn’t go back all the way to Versailles to eat here but I wouldn’t definitely come back if I am visiting the palace. Thanks for hosting us.

The restaurant inside Versailles Palace looks magnificent, with glittering plates, golden ceilings, and all the royal charm you could imagine. Then the illusion falls apart. The staff handle table setting and clearing with shocking roughness. Chairs are dragged unbelievably harshly, plates are slammed onto tables, and the whole routine feels rushed and untrained. Some staff were sweating heavily, wiping with hands and immediately touching the next. Other guests frowned and exchanged looks, clearly uncomfortable, but no one intervened. The manager just stood there, indifferent. From the kitchen came a constant clatter of dishes and glasses, destroying any trace of calm. The setting looked royal, but the execution felt like a noisy cafeteria. The croissant was the only redeeming item. The egg seemed baked directly in the bowl, the sausage lacked presence, and the tea came from a paper bag. The so-called priority access simply means cutting the line from the side, without explanation or guidance from staff. Do that unknowingly and you will almost certainly cause trouble. Calling this a perk feels absurd. Ducasse name has simply fallen. No disappointment, no surprise, just the clear realization that this is an experience no one needs to have.

Eating inside the Palace of Versailles is an amazing experience, and you definitely pay for the incredible location. However, the food quality doesn't quite justify the price. What was truly disappointing was the extremely slow and almost rude service. Plates were practically thrown down. Go for the unique setting, but don't expect top-notch food or service.
Simone A — Google review
The food was overpriced and of subpar quality (lamb was oke but the chicken real bad). The place and ambience were also below average, especially for a restaurant located inside Versailles. (Don't let Google Images fool you!) To make matters worse, we had to wait over an hour for our main courses to be served, even though the restaurant wasn't crowded and we had made a timed online reservation in advance. The waitstaff were unresponsive; I had to walk to the waiter station three times in the last 15 minutes to ask about my dish. Each time, the waiters kindly apologized and said they would check, but they never returned with an update on how long we would need to wait. I made three trips to the station: first, to inquire about the delay; second, to get a response; and third, to cancel our order because I wanted to explore other parts of the castle, and we wouldn't have enough time now. It was during this last trip that they rushed back to inform me it would be just five more minutes. An hour long and the foods weren't even great. 0 stars.

French restaurant
Le Bistrot du 11 is a charming and refined dining option in Versailles, France. It offers an outdoor seating area where guests can enjoy elevated local dishes, delectable desserts, and a selection of wines. The bistro is led by chef Jean-Baptiste Lavergne-Morazzani, who achieved his first Michelin star at the age of 24.
The bistrot of La Table du 11 (1 Michelin star) which was awarded a Bib Gourmand. Good quality cooking, the White Asparagus were in season but mine was extra huge. The fish was also nice, gently cooked and seasoned perfectly. The dessert was a highlight, the dacquoise had a strong almond flavor and blends effortlessly with the blood orange sorbet. A combination I never thought of
Irving E — Google review
The tartar was good but a bit salty, the shrimp avocado was served with browning avocado & smallest shrimp that I ever saw. The egg appetizer was the best. The cod dish was pretty good, the pork was a bit dry/tough with good sauce, chicken was good especially the mushroom. The dipping sauce/dots are a bit salty. I am glad we ordered 3 meals for 2 of us; otherwise, would have gone home hungry. The desserts were excellent. Price was fair for a Michelin rated restaurant.
Andrew P — Google review
The best lunch we had in Versailles! This restaurant truly deserves its Michelin Guide recognition. The menu is simple, clear, and thoughtfully curated. I highly recommend the veal, cod fish, and white asparagus—all beautifully prepared and full of flavor. For dessert, the apple and orange sorbet is a refreshing and elegant finish. An outstanding dining experience from start to finish. Prior reservations will be necessary.
Jason H — Google review
The food is worthy of its Michelin star. Complex cooking in the kitchen before coming to the table transforms into simple, heart warming dishes. Nothing pretentious and yet full of flavours and textures. Had opted for a 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing. Each and every dish was a show stopper. In particular was the cod with saffron emulsion (no photograph available) was a novel and bold dish with the subtle flavours combined together that played out very well on the palette. So was the chicken with mushrooms dish (picture attached), details of which I forget, but the taste of which still lingers on. And not only the food, even the wines were excellent. Worth the trip from Paris. And if you are in Versailles, then a must visit.
Jayesh V — Google review
It was difficult to get a reservation to this place but it was definitely worth the wait! Located in a busy pedestrian street, it doesn't look like much from the facade but once you step inside, it's simple yet chic, not pretentious. The staff speak English so that helps. The presentation was impeccable and the food was delicious. Especially the dessert... to die for!! We had the 3 course (starter, main, dessert). It doesn't sound like much but it is enough and filling. We had the white asparagus and the salmon for starters. The cod and pollack for main. And the rhubarb and Paris-Brest for dessert. The sauces in the mains were light and yet full of flavour. Truly delicious and for sure worth the money. Will definitely come back in 2 months when they change the menu.
Fran V — Google review
Le Bistrot du 11 is a rare gem, where classical French elegance meets modern inspiration with remarkable finesse. Each course arrives as a thoughtful composition, an interplay of flavors that is both surprising and harmonious. The cooking reflects not only technical mastery but also a spirit of creativity that feels deeply personal. The meal reached its crescendo with dessert — a creation so refined and culturally resonant that it deserves to be considered part of the French culinary canon. It was not simply sweet, but poetic: a dish that lingers in memory long after the last bite. Le Bistrot du 11 delivers more than a meal; it offers an experience that reaffirms why France remains the world’s great cradle of gastronomy.

I went during lunch and I was greatly surprised by their menu of 5 sequences. Every dish was perfect and the quality and mix of flavors is something I never experienced before. Their cod, salsify (first time I tried it) and curry might be one of the best dishes I’ve had in my life (and I have been at Michelin restos in other cities, so I know what I am talking about). I also loved the camembert dessert. From the welcoming to the end, the service was excellent and promptly. The wine pairing was perfect and I tried a particular wine from the region. I was fascinated for the attention to detail, but overall, for the quality of food. Although it is among the “Bib Gourmand” Michelin guide, definitely it has the quality to become a Michelin star. The lunch menu is affordable considering the 5 dishes (60 euros) + petite bouche and definitely would come back again. 😋🌎🍽️✈️ Sabor Kairos

The french restaurant Restaurant La Tour is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, thanks to its rustic and cozy atmosphere. The menu features mainly meat specialities, including the signature beef tartare. The duck breast and steak were absolutely delicious, and the servers were friendly. If you're ever in Versailles, be sure to check out Restaurant La Tour!
This place was one of our favorite French restaurants while in France, I've read other bad reviews here and was hesitant to come, but so happy we did. It's a quaint charming small venue where the staff clearly takes ownership of the experience. I am very surprised by any of the negative reviews, we had quite the opposite experience and one if not our favorite of 8 restaurants we've been to in France. I got the steak, awesome and perfectly cooked, with the potatoes gratin, everything was great and the staff was incredibly friendly. The escargot (snails) was great and the only one we've had still simmering and pre removed from shells - yum!!

The service and ambiance were excellent. I really enjoyed the creamy mushroom soup, but the steak was quite disappointing. I made a reservation from the website, and my table was ready as soon as I arrived. Both servers greeted me warmly. They mostly spoke French, but didn’t mind switching to English when I struggled. They also made sure that the label of the water was facing me, great attention to detail! For the entrée I ordered the Velouté de Champignons. The soup was delicious, had the perfect temperature, and was well-seasoned. It was the highlight of the meal. I initially found it odd to have a cold, vinegary egg in the soup, but it tasted good and I really didn’t mind it. The main, Belle Entrecôte poêlée, was significantly below my expectations. While the portion was large, and it was perfectly cooked to the medium-rare that I ordered, the quality of the cut was terrible. There was close to no marbling and as a result the texture was very dry. It was beyond help. Interestingly, it was grilled without any seasoning, and I was expected to season it myself with sea salt at the table. I wouldn’t have minded this had the quality of the steak been better, but it really felt like eating beef jerky. There is no excuse using low-quality ingredients for a €44.5 steak. The ambiance was good. They had light music throughout the night, but the volume was low enough to not be intrusive. I also liked the table setting, the style of the furniture, and the decorations.

Service was excellent, Vincent was an absolute star, he made one feel so welcome and was fun! On a less positive side, though home made terrine was lovely, baguette it came with was dry and stale, I wondered if it is like Italy, Italians get pane fresco and foreigners left over stale lunch bread at dinner. My steak fillet didn't look 200g, other guys who ordered fillet next table got more generous serving from the kitchen. It also was completely unseasoned, not even seared that well and medium rare was completely raw and cold on the inside except for about 5mm, maximum, sear. I couldn't finish it because of it, plus it was so cold and chewy because it was so raw. I saw French guy at larger table next to me had the same issue. Left all the raw bits on his plate. At €38 a pop, that's expensive food not to eat. I would suggest if you normally take medium rare ie very pink, with some blood and don't want to eat cold raw meat, that you order medium, or send it back as soon as you take first bite of cold meat inside, which i didnt do hoping it was just the middle, plus paranoid about people spitting on my food if I send it back. Chip, though quality potato used, were tasteless with zero seasoning used, not even modicum of salt, again, for a steak restaurant, I find that just ok. Dessert of proper vanilla ice-cream with armagnac prunes was lovely. Wine not great value for money at €14 a glass. Mine was very long open and very oxidised, i left half of it in the glass. For a relatively small dinner, total price tag €73 for one. That's Michelin 1star set menu pricing nearly! For contrast, I had excellent meal plus cocktail the following night at my usual hangout in Versailles (Vous) and it was total of only €60 and excellent, very cosy in St Louis quarter, but they sadly don't have friendly Vincent to provide same level of service, just German-like efficency. Personally, I would skip La Tour next time in favour of other Versailles eateries.

Food was excellent (we had the beef tartare and the salad with goat cheese) and the service was very good. Overall, felt like a great place to eat on our day visiting the Versailles chateau. Just a warning, the menu kind of lacks meal options for kids.

Absolutely best place I’ve been so far in Versailles and probably in my top 5 in Paris 🤤 The food is absolutely fantastic with such flavours I could have dreamed off…We had melted cheese salad as starter with petit Chablis, then duck a canard and beef with delicious backed potatoes melting in cheese 🤪🤪🤪🤪 I almost cried this how delicious it was! The service is just brilliant, the waiter is very friendly and welcoming with great sense of humour, so you actually feel like you are having a dinner at good friends kitchen :) The ambience is great with again some Edith Piaf playing in the background! We didn’t have space for desert, but defo will come back soon for more 🤩🥳😎

We absolutely adored this restaurant. We wanted to come back, but they were fully booked for a couple of days out, so reserving a table in advance would be good. The duck breast and steak was very tasty, and the servers were very friendly!

Loved every minute of dinner here. Our waiter was helpful and fun, even the other diners were friendly. It feels like a truly local bistro. We had the mushroom carpaccio and peasant salad to start, with a steak and the duck breast as mains. The crème brûlée was the perfect end and my only regret is not ordering the gratin as it looked incredible. Go here and tip well!

Ok so I can't say enough about this place. I arrived and it was sold out, no seats. A waiter walks up and says "table for 1? We can make it work. Let me know what you want and by the time I get you seated. I'll have everything you need". 20 minutes later I sat down to the best Is filet minion meal I've ever had in a restaurant. A green salad with bacon, potatoes au gratin and a cream burley for desert. Everything was amazing, food, chef, waiters..... Check this place out!

For a place in the gardens of Versailles, it's quite cheap. And I don't mean the price, but I'm talking about the quality. The food is fast food grade (not the best kind of fast food), and it's overpriced (but it's probably normal for where you are). You'll go there because it's the only place you have, but in other circumstances this place will not have clients. The service is quite fast.

Wait in a long line for precooked food for take away or limited seating. Coffee from the machine was just OK. Crepe was made earlier and reheated for 10 seconds. The best part of this place is a shaded place to sit and you can use the toilets outside without having to make a purchase.

After a long walk in the park, we stopped by for a quick lunch around 5 PM. Unfortunately, despite the extensive menu, only 2–3 dishes were still available, which was a bit disappointing. What we did have was quite tasty, but the limited options were noticeable. It seems they prepare everything in advance and mostly offer pre-packed takeaway meals, so it’s probably best to visit earlier in the day.

I was just reminiscing about my visit there years ago and how I had the best little lunch there. I had a little sandwich, a little cake, and Versailles sparkling water. That sparkling water is still my favorite and I wish I could get it here. The restaurant itself wasn't fancy but I was only sitting there for a minute before we were all evacuated for a terrorist threat. We walked down so many flights of stairs and I was enjoying my sandwich so much I was completely unconcerned. I ate the little cake outside in the courtyard and thoroughly enjoyed being evacuated with my yummy sandwich, little cake, and sparkling water. I hope I can go back again someday. How funny that I would enjoy the food in a museum so much. I love Versailles and I loved that lunch.

Versailles is a very busy place, and the restaurants available within the castle grounds can be incredibly pricey for the common tourist. We went to this cafe because we weren't incredibly hungry and just needed to recharge from our walk around the Trianon Domain before heading inside the chateau itself. Let's start with the atmosphere. There's a line of course, and it leads to a small section of baskets. Pick one up if you intend to take goods from the cooled shelves. There are sandwiches, drinks, desserts, and small snacks. Though it's a bit weird if you're buying alone since if you leave your spot in line to fetch food, it's a little awkward to go back to your previous spot and already be taken over by someone. There needs to be a more solid pathing between falling in line and going to the cashier. The service was alright at best. The first time we got our main meal, the two cashiers were chatting away as if they didn't have any clients to tend to, and we waited for a while just to pay for a cold sandwich, a slice of cake, water, and espresso - which grew cold due to the cashiers taking their sweet time. The second time around however, I bought 'goûter' menu and got a better cashier who was attentive and more welcoming. When you get your order, you will need to find a spot to sit in one of the three rooms to the right. Otherwise, just order to-go so you can sit outside the castle walls and enjoy the weather while eating. As for the food... Very average. The mini sandwich I got had a braided brioche bread which was way too dry. Could use a bit more sauce and more variety in filling. Only ham, cheese, and salad were available. There are larger sandwiches, soup of the day, and quiche of the day.

Went there with my Mum after we visited Versailles. The whole street was beautiful and not overcrowded, even though we went right after the garden closed. We immediately got a table. I never had a salty crêpe (galette) before, and was a bit wary. Sadly they only had Emmental cheese which usually I dislike. However, it was one of the best dishes I've ever eaten in my life. Ordered the simple one with egg cheese and ham, delicious! As was the Nutella one. The waitresses were really nice and we didn't wait long for the food. They also have a nice restaurant inside, very comfortable and with a clean toilet. And if that wasn't enough, the prices were totally okay as well. Sad that it's so far away from our hotel, I surely would have come multiple more times.

La Place is a charming French-style restaurant located in Versailles, known for serving one of the most popular and typical dishes in French cuisine - crepes. These crepes are loved for their rich flavor and versatility, available in both sweet and savory variations. In addition to their famous crepes, La Place also offers other menu options such as salads and a children's menu, making it an ideal spot for families visiting Versailles.
A small restaurant mainly serves crepes and palettes and some salads. The staff was very friendly, fast and helpful. We had two different sweet crepes, one with honey and lemon and one Suzette (sugar and flamed). We also tried the dry cider I liked very much as it was not too sweet. The food came fast and was very good. I can totally recommend this place.

We came here 6:00 with a booking for 8:00 because we finished our Versailles palace tour way earlier than we planned. There were no guests inside, and we were like, ok we might need to wait outside for it to open. But they welcomed us and gave us water quickly. We sat down, looking at the menu, oh boy there were so many choices of crepes and galettes to choose from! We only have three people here, so we opt for 2 galettes and 1 crepe. One thing I need to nitpick here is that the waiter served all three dishes together and the crepe has an ice cream on it. So we needed to eat the ice cream before the galettes. Talking about the galettes, the ham and cheese one was just your classic, mediocre galette but the other one ( the blue cheese, onion and lettuce one) was so good. Yes I personally ADORE blue cheese but it’s just so surprisingly delicious with caramelised onions and fresh lettuce. The one thing going on my mind while I ate this was like, this is gotta be a solid five stars. The crepe with homemade toffee sauce, apple paste and the (obviously) eaten ice cream was a masterpiece itself. The toffee sauce was so good and the ‘toffeeness’ of it was just right. Overall, the only thing I want to complain is that I can’t give six stars. That’s how much I adore this restaurant. Definitely will come if I had the chance.

Cute place with very delicious crepes! We were pleasantly surprised with how tasty the galettes were and how filling they were too. Everything we tried here was great. Only criticism is that service was quite slow. Great proximity to Versailles though.
Finicky F — Google review
Our tour guide recommended this place and said it was her favorite crepe place around so we decided give it a try. We were skeptical because it was so close to the Palace of Versailles, but it was not touristy at all. It was quaint and lovely. We had quite honestly the best crepe we’ve ever had complimented with some champagne and our server was wonderful. I would highly recommend.

An amazing and tasty experience in a moderate price. The crepes were out of this world, we ate them so fast we didn't even take a photo. The service was quick and professional but also light hearted. They even knew a little Polish. We enjoyed every moment of our meal!

Salty crepes were solid. We had the Roma and another crepes with bacon and a special cheese and they were both delicious, sizeable and affordable. The service was ok.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff speaks English and is friendly. The menu of the day is good value for money and delicious! It is a great lunch spot in the Palace of Versailles. My sons said “we want to give 100 stars to this restaurant!”

This is an incredible find!!!!! We looked for lunch after a long morning at Versailles. The place was busy and we got lucky to be seated despite not having a reservation. The place was packed and it’s no wonder - their specialty is fire grilled meats! Their lunch express combo is amazing!!! Incredible value for excellent food and substantive portions. Warm friendly service and really really happy we came here. Their espresso was also the best we had in Paris area and rivaled great Italian espresso

The best food in Versailles + Amazing service! After a long day of visiting the palace of Versailles We were tired and hungry and not looking forward to spending an outrageous amount of money on mediocre food. However, we found this hidden gem tucked a block away from the palace, and it was incredible. The portion size are huge and perfect after a long day, of walking around. The steak and lamb were to die for. For the quality of food portion size, and excellent service the price was amazing. 35-45 euros for appetizer main course and dessert. Would recommend to anyone visiting the palace of Versailles.

We were delighted to discover this restaurant by chance and enjoyed a truly memorable evening. The standout feature of the entire visit was the staff. They were genuinely kind, nice, and welcoming, that made them the best part of the experience. The food was great, largely due to the unique preparation method: the dishes are cooked on a real charcoal grill inside the restaurant. This provides a distinctive, excellent smoky flavour and char. The atmosphere was wonderfully calm during our visit, with only a few other guests, allowing for a quiet and deeply relaxing meal. We were so pleased to have stumbled upon this excellent spot and highly recommend it.

Do yourself a favor and do eat here! the place was recommended to us from our Hotel Concierge and it was a great one! We arrived promptly at 7 pm, eat on the promenade, and quickly the restaurant filled with people! Chez Lazare is an allergy friendly restaurant, I do have a lot of severe allergies and they took care of me without problems. Our server was Isabella, she was so great but the whole team works together to give you a great experience. We even heard that inside you can have the cooks cook your meat in front of you but outside was so quaint that we never made it in. Merci bcp!! (Dessert Meli Melo was bomb too)

Monument Café Versailles is a charming spot located near the Versailles Cathedral, offering an elegant and spacious interior with friendly staff. It's a great place for families, couples, and solo travelers to enjoy delicious home-made dishes. The buffet features a variety of specialties including Sunday brunch options. The café's unique decor includes murals and tables inspired by chateaux and gardens, creating a delightful ambiance for visitors. With its convenient buffet style service, guests can enjoy their meals without any waiting time.
Really excellent lunch and a great value. You can choose 1 main dish (served in individual cast iron pots) and 4 sides (savory or dessert). My main was confit lamb shoulder with truffled mashed potatoes and it was outstanding. The meat fell apart under the fork, the sauce was rich and meaty, and the mashed potatoes were a perfect match. If you see the peas offered as side dish, get them. It has an intense fresh pea flavor, like putting springtime in your mouth. Just lovely.

Loves this place !! Great concept of a modern cafe / restaurant where you can pick your hot main course and select some accompanying cold savoury or desert items. All fresh and tasty ingredients. Friendly waiter gave my daughter a few extra macarons as a special treat to finish our meal.

Great experience, they have these meal deals where you can choose what you would like to eat for a decent price. We chose a main meal and four side dishes in glasses. The cream sauce that came with the chicken was so good, you won't regret it! The gentleman working today was amazing and so kind. He helped us with everything we needed for lunch. Would recommend this place for a nice light lunch.

The best brunch in Versailles ❤️
Noha S — Google review
We had a delightful experience here. The gentleman who greeted us was super friendly and helpful; I appreciate him for taking the time to explain how it works in English. Essentially, the decision for a customer to make is do you want to pay 1) 17 euros for one main course + 4 glasses or 2) 26 euros for all-you-can-eat? The glasses consisted of cold side dishes (eg salad) and desserts. Note: drinks are not included. If you choose option 1, a soup will count as 2 glasses and 2 macarons as 1 glass. Bread is included for free. For the main course, there were 4 options including a plate of the day (fish, in my case), veal, some pasta, and I think a chicken dish. There were probably 6 options each for side dishes and desserts. Food was delicious and I would definitely come back again when I am next in Versailles!

La Perle de Saint-Louis is a charming seafood restaurant located at 5 Bis Rue du Marche Neuf, 78000 Versailles. It offers a daily changing menu based on the catch of the day and seasonal ingredients. The restaurant's success can be attributed to its attentive staff and meticulously prepared dishes. Guests have praised the warm welcome from the owner, comfortable seating, and polite service.

What a delight this little restaurant is. The Owner greeted us warmly and seated us in a comfortable booth. Service was polite and warm and the fish to die for. The Scallops were melted in your mouth, and the Sole on the bone delicious - maybe just a little less salad garnish would be good. Thoroughly recommend this gem of a place.

Only our second restaurant where personnel was so rude. All others were very friendly. The owner, it looked like, yelled at us because I only wanted an Entree (an appetizer), and my daughter ordered a main dish. She told us it was a gourmand restaurant where you are supposed to order an appetizer, main dish and wine. Their write-up didn't say that. I explained I wasn't that hungry! There were only about 8 tables and only 3 had people the whole time. Restaurants beside it were full of happy people. Maybe explains a lot. Too bad, the dishes were nicely prepared and delicious. And my dish was quite large.

I am not commenting on the food but had a very bad experience when I called the restaurant to make a reservation. The lady picked up the phone and I asked if you can speak English and I would like to make a reservation. The lady answered repeatedly and very rude saying No No No and no English, no English. And she does not pass to anyone who can speak English. So I have no success in make a reservation. The area is a tourist spot and I’m surprised by this attitude. The staff should be trained to handle this basic stuff.

The menu features traditional meat and fish dishes, all prepared with the freshest and highest-quality ingredients. From hearty salads to savory entrees, there's something to satisfy every palate. I will not gatekeep. This restaurant was fantastic! A few streets over from the tourist restaurants, this French restaurant is delicious, with a calm atmosphere, delicious food, and great service. It was not crowded at all on a weekend night, and I feel like it is a hidden gem of Versailles.

Beautiful place and even more beautiful presentation of the dishes. The service was very nice and respectful, especially compared to some other French restaurants. However, I was surprised that they didn't change the cutlery after the entree and said just keep it. The mushroom soup was great but the duck breast was chewy and too dry in some parts, and the dessert didn't taste like pistachio at all.

Nicely decorated and very cozy restaurant. It’s slightly out of the way but makes for a nice walk. The benches against the wall are a bit uncomfortable though and don’t suit the rest of the interior. The staff was friendly and can speak some English. The menu is not very extensive, only 3 mains, 3 desserts and around 6 starters but what we tried were all delicious.

Staff was nice enough to grant me a table without reservation for dinner. The tuna tataki was fresh and light. I had the beef with olive puree it was juicy and flavorful. I had the passion meringue for dessert it was okay abit sweet to my taste i should have sticked to the pistachio creme brûlée. The menu is limited but tasty and for good value of money.

Highly recommend ! I found this gem thanks to the review of another traveler.. After Versailles, my friends and I took the brief walk to Chez Stef’s. Upon entering, it’s cozy, calming, and the smells were intoxicating! I had the sea bream and it was absolutely divine! The flavors complimented each other so well, I didn’t know whether to laugh, cry, or kiss the chef! Had an amazing pistachio & fruit dessert. The owners are so kind and humble -I hope you go as soon as you finish reading this. My friends and I were so impressed and our bellies were SO happy!

Amazing food and great service. Had two young children with us who were made a special meal with fish and pasta which they loved. My set meal was delicious and the fish with a curry sauce being a highlight. Pricing was good for great quality food.

Lovely little place. Indoor seats more people than it appears; there is also outdoor seating. One waiter covered the whole place when we were there which was not really enough by the end when it had gotten crowded. There is a seasonal menu so some of these dishes may not be available. Pea soup was very different from American traditional but was very good. Tuna was prepared beautifully with delicious sauce. Peach dessert was very good.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem after our attempt to visit the Palace of Versailles, only to discover that tickets needed to be booked two weeks in advance. The staff was very friendly, treating us to complimentary coconut bean satay veloutés as entrée and delightful soft cookies at the end. I opted for the Monkfish cheeks with chopped parsley and garlic, tricolour fusilli pasta, parmesan cheese cream, and laces. My father enjoyed the roasted veal ribs, smashed Ratte potatoes au gratin with Beaufort cheese, morels, and sunchokes chips. The best deal by far was the $18 lunch special my mother ordered, including a main and dessert – a fantastic price for incredibly delicious food! I absolutely loved the place, and the overall atmosphere was really calming

There's only 2 servers so the service is lacking. Not once were we asked how things were or do we want to refill our drinks/water, also it is quite warm in the dining room and they just played Adele the whole time which is odd. None of the dishes we received were memorable except the desserts which in France is a given. I don't really see the allure of dining here currently.

What a lovely spot this is! The owner of the restaurant himself took our order and gave us enough attention despite having a very busy Saturday night service. It was such a relaxing and memorable experience to sit and enjoy delicious food after a day of walking around in the Palace. My absolute favorite was foie gras (I only order it when in France), and of course the dessert. During a 38°C heatwave I could eat several of their housemade sorbet. Absolute must!

Although we didn't have a reservation - recommended - staff was able to accommodate our family of five. Waiters are very friendly and efficient. They also made good recommendations for wine pairings and kids' dishes. Onglet was excellent and gratin was very tasty side dish. Sauces for the meat were great too. Duck was delicious as well. Tea with a selection of mini deserts was a great finish to the evening. Quiet atmosphere allows for easy conversation. Overall the evening felt like an authentic French experience with excellent French food. Grand merci!

I am giving a 4 instead of 5 because of the staff attitude , and the inacceptable way of talking , impoliteness toward a customer . Saying to a client you are starving you finished your soup is not correct . It was not even a joke . I took the 3 course menu of a pumpkin soup , the veal with vegetables , the pear frangine tart . It was delicious, reasonable pricing compared to quality and taste . I found the portion of main course small . Recommended.

My boyfriend and I had a nice dinner date here tonight! The service is great! Our lovely waiter translated parts of the menu for us (we are visiting from Amsterdam) and also recommended wine pairing for the meat / steak we ordered. The meat was tender and delicious and the sides were also a delight! Also, leave some space for dessert! 😍

We enjoyed the food however its obvious that is a new restaurant, sometimes the service was a bit lost and they looked stressed. For example they brought us the red wine and when we proposed one of us to taste it the waiter just left the bottle on the table and left a bit in a rush, he didnt serve or waited for the person to taste it. They forgot one of thr sauces of main dish etc. The food was good and tasty, the design and atmosphere was nice.. But when we had to leave we were waiting for 15min maybe more for someone to bring our coats. I think with time and experience the place will be much more improved and we will be giving them a second chance in the future

Ladurée is a renowned patisserie known for its delicious and airy macarons. The store offers a variety of flavors, with the raspberry and hazelnut ones being particularly popular. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the macarons justifies it. Visitors can purchase these delectable treats at their store inside Versailles and enjoy them in the palace gardens.
Macarons here are not too sweet and also very airy! My wife and I love it ! I’m not sure this is the store we went but l like the staff working there, they try really hard in English to communicate with us and understand what we ordered! I would love to bring some home but without refrigerator they are only taste good within 24 hours! Our long flight home will not cut it! It is not cheap also!

I do not eat macarons but my boyfriend told me to try so I bought one big piece and gosh, it was delicious plus they have so many flavors to choose from. Pricey though. €3 for 1 small piece and €6 for the big ones.
Karleen G — Google review
Popular with tourists. Not the best macaroons ever but very good, though when paying 2.9 euros for each one you would expect nothing less.
Jun S — Google review
The girl working here was incredibly rude. I was asking if I had to buy the multipack of macarons or if I could buy just one, because I only wanted one. She kept rudely asking me what I wanted, ignoring my question, and looking at me like I was stupid. I asked both in French and English, I got the same rudeness back each time. The macaron was delicious, but her service was so terrible, I regret buying it. I think she realized how annoyed I was by her attitude and she tried to be nicer but it was a bit late by that point. Overall, so disappointing because I love this brand. Edit: this is the Ladurée store on the main level in the courtyard, not the stall downstairs. The stall seemed to have a larger line than the store on the main floor and I’m not surprised why!

We definitely experienced the infamous rude French "hospitality". My girlfriend and I were met with unkindness and contempt on purchasing from this location. On asking if we could add milk to our coffee, one female employee laughed in our face and rolled her eyes then proceeded to call us idiotic in French to her colleague as she believed that we did not understand. My girlfriend translated what was said almost directly to my face post-purchase. After asking a seemingly basic question, we were left with a bad taste in our mouth...and that wasn't just the watery poor-quality coffee.

Even after trying several good bakeries over 4 weeks in France, we were still blown away with the quality and taste of the pastries we got from here. There was always a line, but don't worry as it goes really fast, since people seem to always know what they want and the check out is super efficient. The waitress always gives useful advice for conservation and tasting. And she also spontaneously asked me if it was for an event and gave me a fancy “happy birthday” chocolate plaque.

(Translated by Google) Personally, I love going to Lenôtre in Parly 2 and all the boys are always charming with me, not forgetting the girls, Ouali and Christine, who are the ones who serve me most often. On the other hand, the Caesar salads, as I had already pointed out, were better for a while and now, here we go again.... Far too much sauce, the ingredients are bathed in the sauce and honestly, it's becoming disgusting! This really needs to change because, suddenly, it’s not good at all, at all, at all!!! See photo..... Some of the best croissant we had in Versailles France. Was a walking distance from our hotel and we would grab freshly baked croissant on our way out. The selection of gourmets, pastries and cakes kept us going back and just starring at the goodness

Talk about some macarons. The absolute best I had in France. The other pastry I got was good, but the macarons were easily the highlight. Don’t miss this spot on your way from the train to Versaille!

Absolutely love it! Stopped there accidentally and apparently it was the best croissant and macaroons I had. And also that cute beautiful young woman who helped me with the choice and served us. Thank you so much!

My family and I love Maison Hervet. We tried their bread, several pastries and bought the best chocolate mousse cake we have ever tried. Their personnel is also very attentive and cordial. We highly recommend this place specially to pick some items before heading to Versalles Palace for a wonderful picnic experience!

Place is located on the main market place in versailles area . offers affordable drinks and cocktails. Aperol cocktail was served in big glass for 8.5 euros . Place gets crowded alot with young crowds and students . The tables are very close . If ur looking for a quite evening to talk forget it. Staff is friendly and service is fast .
