Restaurant
The Golden Girl Rum Club is a vibrant tiki bar located in Springfield, offering a modern and stylish ambiance. Situated in Park Central Square, it's the perfect spot to enjoy rum-based drinks like The Monkeys Paw and Son of Banana Man. Even if you're not into alcohol, there are plenty of options for non-drinkers as well. This establishment is part of a group of bars owned by Widner and has garnered national attention.
I did not eat here so I cannot rate the food, but the drinks are great. The atmosphere is fun, even in cooler weather when the wall is shut, closing off the outdoor seating. The bathrooms are especially fun, and if you’re looking for a healthy rum selection, this is the spot. I would bet that no other bar in the city has as much rum to choose from! The happy hour specials are great.
Heather M — Google review
Wow the rum drinks are amazing. The drinks are spendy, but as strong as the strength rating says, so be careful! Their Hurricane and the Monkey's Paw are great. Make sure that you check out the bathrooms, seriously... They have a whole vibe and we loved them. We were able to sit out on their lovely patio.
Joshua M — Google review
During Halloween, I visited this place and loved the halloween atmosphere. The service was excellent and I enjoyed my cocktail. I haven't had the chance to try their food, but I definitely plan on going back. It's also a great spot to hang out with your girlfriends!
Zinaa M — Google review
Love this place. Drinks are delicious, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The whole tropical vibe makes you feel like you’re on vacation in a Carribean resort. Highly recommend.
SpiceRoot66 — Google review
My friends and I came here after going to another bar in town. We were after good drinks and some Christmas vibes. The staff here was incredible and the food and drinks were amazing! We got a vegan mushroom pizza and it's probably the best I've ever had. Skip the other places in town. This is the place.
Christina H — Google review
Absolutely wonderful drinks and great atmosphere. The service was phenomenal and I loved the over all vibe. Ordered the one of each of the tacos and they were killer.
Garrett B — Google review
Such a cute spot to grab a drink. They have some really fun drinks. I was loving “The Monkey Paw”
Joey F — Google review
The drinks were to die for but the place fills up, so try to get there early. We got the pizza and it was tasty but nothing to worry home about

Fire & Ice Restaurant & Bar is a vibrant dining destination in Springfield, renowned for its unique ice bar and open kitchen concept. Guests can enjoy the spectacle of chefs preparing mouthwatering seafood and steak dishes right before their eyes, often accompanied by impressive flames. The menu features classic American fare with modern twists, ensuring there's something for everyone. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, making it an ideal spot for a date night or casual outing with friends.
This was such a great restaurant and bar. We were guests at the hotel and were pleased with the food, drinks, and service here. It’s great to find a good place within the hotel especially since we didn’t have a vehicle. We had drinks one night, dinner the next, and even drinks at the pool through their poolside window service. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area! The pad Thai was yummy, a tad spicy, but enjoyed it. The drinks were good too and I loved the “ice” bar! 🧊🍸
Maddie M — Google review
We had the Asian salad with chicken it was very big and delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and we loved the dark intimate atmosphere. It was a little noisy but it was people enjoying themselves. I would highly recommend. You might ask for Jo, our waitress she was very good.
Gwen C — Google review
We stayed at the hotel with our two kids to split up our drive to Indiana from Texas. Awesome food! We had the Pad Thai and it was delicious. If you’re staying at the hotel the continental breakfast is amazing. Best breakfast I’ve had in a while. Pam M was running the breakfast and was so nice and helpful! We will be back!
Richard C — Google review
Stopped in for a quick lunch, I got the crab pizza. It was a little smaller than I expected and the waitress told me the mix the crab meat into the cheese. It was tasty and hit the spot so I'm satisfied. I'll be back for those fish tacos and a couple drinks next time I'm through
Cody M — Google review
Personally, I found their food menu somewhat limited. The food was really good. Just not a lot of choices... Their bar however didn't have that problem. I HIGHLY recommend the drink called "homemade ice cream" it taste just like it's name. It's like $14... And worth every penny in my humble opinion. Their bartender is the best. Tip well and he'll take care of you....
J.D. S — Google review
Very cool restaurant. Open kitchen that produces some excellent food. Had dinner 2 nights in a row and both meals were superb. Great service as well and not overpriced as is the case at most hotel restaurants. I recommend the Pad Thai bowl. Their version is simply delicious and spicy at the perfect level.
Rick G — Google review
Maybe we visited on an off night for the place. First off, the service was good. The food was the bigger issue. The pad thai and spinach dip were good. The steak frites was sent over cooked (ordered medium rare and received well) which they fixed so happy for that. The steak was still not very flavorful and tough. The lamb chops were not seared and had no flavor at all. The food had such potential and again maybe an off night. Atmosphere is weird like a fancy Dennys and smell.of pool was present.
Tom B — Google review
Resturant was dark and didnt feel very inviting... could hardly find our server and our food was mediocre at best. Me and my husband got the ribeye rare. They were medium well and had no flavor. The masked potatoes were hard and also no flavor. And the Brussel sprouts weren't even cooked all the way but were somehow roasted? How can you even charge $50 for that?? We will not be back. Insane

Restaurant
Located in the lobby of Hotel Vandivort, The Order is a rustic-industrial restaurant and bar that offers a rotating seasonal menu featuring American cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. Guests can savor Springfield's famous cashew chicken and Missouri pork steak while enjoying generous menu prices. The bar at The Order has become a popular weekend hotspot, offering an extensive selection of signature cocktails and half-off draft beers during happy hour.
Reservations recommended. Fantastic staff that is kind, helpful and friendly. Pleasant, warm and intimate atmosphere. Seating is limited but there is also a bar. The Buttonwood Chicken was amazing. The White Sweet Potato Pear Soup was delicious. The Bread Service was very tasty.
Joshua S — Google review
The atmosphere may be one of the best in Springfield. And the server did an amazing job. But the menu was extremely limited. There were only eight options for entrées and they were very expensive and had strange twist to them. We don’t mind paying 50 or $60 a plate, but we want it to be good and to have several options. You have to pay for the bread service And strangely they are like Nazis when it comes to changing out the sides that come with your entrée. They forbid switching out even a side dish from another entrée for your entrée. It’s really strange. I’m glad we had this restaurant, but I doubt we’ll be going back to it. Flame and char have more options.
Dr. B — Google review
Made our work trip to Springfield! Friendly and classy service, gourmet-level of food! The local beets & tomato salad with yogurt/pepitas sauce just restored my lost fate into American cousine. Also discovered crunchy mushrooms in ginger & sesame oil. The market fish & eggplants was at the French cousine level. Nebbiolo was very good as well. Overall- worth a trip to Springfield just to dine here! Thank you 🫶
Anton R — Google review
Really nice meal, very good service, would go back! A Thursday night, it was early, so we received really good, personal and active service. Food was hot and fresh, and really well prepared. Menu is not huge, but has decent variety, some nice pasta dishes, salads are not complex but fresh and well prepared. We had two pasta dishes, and they were really well seasoned, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Cocktails were reasonably priced and nicely done.
Mike H — Google review
This is a really fantastic restaurant! I appreciate the use of local ingredients and the opportunity to eat foods that I might not usually order. It always excels and exceeds my expectations! Also, the drinks are unique (Pink Pony Club pictured) and for those Smoked Old Fashioned lovers, stop looking, they have the best in Springfield.
Misty M — Google review
Their menu is short and straight to the point offering brunch on the weekends! So many great options to choose from! We started off with coffee and bottomless mimosas. They gave us 3 options for the juice: orange, pineapple and grapefruit. We went with pineapple and orange, both delicious. I was craving poached eggs so I ordered the Shakahuka, which came with 2 poached eggs, focaccia, crême fraiche, and radish micro greens. The eggs were poached to perfection!! My husband ordered biscuits and gravy, as well as brioche French toast to share. The French toast came with blueberries, walnut crumble, spiced maple syrup, and was topped with candied orange slices. The presentations of each dish deserved a review of their own! Everything tasted absolutely amazing and flavorful that our plates were sparkling clean by the time we were done. Their service was fast and the staff friendly and attentive. You couldn't even tell you were in the Vantage hotel, half way through our meal we even had some live music playing! Overall an absolutely fantastic experience, definitely a must for brunch in Springfield!
Fabiana K — Google review
Food was very good. Server wasn’t very attentive and was off talking to coworkers at times when we needed assistance. The Wagu Burger was amazing and the homemade ketchup was a must, do not pass on it. The cashew chicken was a really great take on a Springfield classic. I would order again. Make sure you get the bread service. The smoked old fashion was great!
Chris C — Google review
This restaurant has some deliciousness hidden behind its small seating availability. Sitting down, I was not sure what all we would be getting ourselves into with eating in the hotel restaurant, but my goodness, they pump out some serious food. The selection they have for spirits are out of this world and are fairly priced. Some of their wine has some large overhead for pricing, but that is fine and understandable. The food and cocktails are worth the visit, and I suggest you try this place out if in town. They are hyper-local, which is always great to find a place that supports their community.

Pub
Restaurant
Finnegan's Wake is an Irish pub located in downtown Springfield, offering a wide selection of beers and Irish whiskeys. It's a great spot to hang out with friends, play games like shuffleboard, darts, or pool, and catch your favorite sports on TV. The menu features classic Irish dishes such as bangers and mash, Scotch eggs, and cottage pie.
Points for sass, quirky, and old world pub feel. Even though it was St.Patrick’s Day, the staff was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. The corned beef was amazing and so was the cabbage. If you like pickles you absolutely need to try the Civil Pickle shot. We will be back!
Cami W — Google review
My friends came down for the week, so I wanted to take them to a local bar. We ended up going to Finn’s expecting to have a good time. I have been here before and have had issues with men being creepy or touchy, but have never had a bartender sit there and let it happen. These guys were pestering our group and when one of them went to touch my friend inappropriately, we pushed ourselves between them so we could create distance between them two, and the bartender told US to leave. When we mentioned to them that they were being inappropriate, there was nothing done. We ended up leaving because we could tell nobody was paying attention.
Lindsey B — Google review
Visited on a Thursday night, it was popping with college kids. The place is nice and has a pool table amongst other activities. The best part was the $8.50 pitcher of beer.
Kelsey C — Google review
Went for an Irish coffee. They dont have Irish coffee! Then asked for an old fashioned. They were put of bitters! Then I left and no one seemed to care either way.
D T — Google review
All I have to say is... BUBBLE HOCKEY! 🫧 🏒 What a great pastime and bar game. It's like "Hockey Foosball" folks, and if you want to play actual Foosball, well they have that too. Darts and a Pool table round off this Cool guy 😎 hangout. I didn't get to try their food since the kitchen was closed, but maybe next time. Looks like a fun place to watch the game and play some games.
Chester F — Google review
Service is awful, they have rainbow flags everywhere its a mess. Foods ok, but everything else blows.
Brooks B — Google review
My best friend and I have been going to this bar for over 6 years now. We typically always go right when they open on Saturday (5pm). This beats the crowd, if you are wanting to just have a good vent sesh with your friends without it being so loud. Around 8:30pm this place gets hopping though! So if you are into the more college bar scene, wait to go until around 8:30/9. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and pour great drinks. If you aren't quite sure what you want (and they have time- don't be that guy if they have a bar full of people) they will attempt to make you something off the cuff. Overall- great pub atmosphere, very cheap bar food, that is tasty, and good drinks!
Leigha M — Google review
Went for St Patrick's day. First cottage pie was cold, the mashed potatoes were very cold. Bartender replaced with new cottage pie and gave a %20 off the cottage pie. The new food wasn't good and tasteless. Ground beef was fatty. It tasted like a cook drizzled pesto over the top. The potatoes were piping microwaved hot and the rest of the dish was still room temperature. It was a puff pastry with 4oz of mashed potatoes, 4 oz of ground beef, some odd gravy poured on top with a few square frozen carrots added. It wasn't worth $11 or with 20% taken off because it wasn't heated the first time. I don't recommend coming here for food. They precook and reheat food. They don't cook food. Management never came to my table.

Piano bar
Ernie Biggs Dueling Piano Bar in downtown Springfield is a lively spot where skilled pianists and singers battle it out to the greatest hits. The vibrant atmosphere, daily drink specials, and interactive performances make for an entertaining night out. The bar features a Chicago-style piano setup and has been entertaining patrons since 2003. With friendly bartenders and a great stage for live bands, this venue offers a fun experience with various entertainment options.
Wonderful fun experience and great drinks! Spiced old fashioned and a plum rum daiquiri. Traci the manager is awesome!
Charla F — Google review
This bar is located in downtown Springfield. And it is not short on the fun. Before you even make it inside, you kow you are going to have a good time. Just looking around and seeing the decor, you are immediately ready to get a little wild. There was a live band playing that was CRAZY FUN! The band was very interactive. So much so that you felt emersed in the performance. My only issue with live bands in smaller venues is that it can get ear bleeding loud. Which happened a few times. But we enjoyed ourselves for sure.
Christopher D — Google review
Don’t come here if you want to feel heard! I haven’t been to a bar/ Karaoke joint with spending money for being the “un-biased” gender gets you to the bottom. I’ve never went out of my way to make a review but I’m looking out for any gentleman!
Joseph C — Google review
It's usually laid back.. not too many of the rowdy college crowd. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. And the performers have always been entertaining to me.
DuZ10 C — Google review
Came into town to celebrate daughter's birthday and decided to come here. Fun little bar. Lots of energy. Staff was nice.
Shilo S — Google review
I have been to dueling pianos bars before and hated rhwm. They're just not my cup of tea. However, I came to Ernie Biggs this weekend for a bachelorette party and was pleasantly surprised. The artists and staff were all very professional and nice. The artists handled the crowd wonderfully and everyone had a great time. The only thing I would say is that the tip/buy in to get a song played was a little outrageous. $26 to request a song that may not even get played? That's a little silly.
Danica L — Google review
We went on a Friday night and had such a blast that we went again Saturday night. We would definitely go again when we are back in Springfield.
Charles S — Google review
Great experience here. The atmosphere is exciting and relaxed at the same time. The bartender really is what stood out to me, I know it may be tacky and I'm not familiar with the bar scene, but this bartender probably served 500 people that night yet new me by name and had my drinks down. Also my wife isn't familiar with drinks and she told him what she likes and he mixed her all kinds and she liked every single one. And the prices were pretty dang reasonable.

Zan The Club, located downtown, has become a popular spot for those seeking a lively club atmosphere. Owned by the same people as Boogie, it offers a larger dance floor and welcomes minors all week. On Thursdays, the club hosts college night which draws in a packed crowd. The bartenders are known for their quick service and ability to craft drinks to your liking. The atmosphere is described as amazing with great music and excellent customer service.
Always have a great time here + am well taken care of. Hawaii and the security staff are easily the best in town. Kyle and the other bartenders get drinks out quick and make them how you want. If you request music, you can get the songs you want played. I ordered bottle service for my birthday, and couldn’t have asked for a better time. Have been coming here for years now and I love this place.
Kenton C — Google review
Interesting establishment. The staff was ok and polite, music wasn't bad but they need to start cutting off some of the drunk college students. The patrons actually made this place not so desirable to be in.
Keira P — Google review
It’s pretty decent club. But its kinda vulgar and I saw 2 fights inside and out of the club. So beware!
Aveek R — Google review
Fun once you actually get in. The line is horrendous so make sure you get there early. The drinks I had were good, but the bartender I had upstairs kept asking for tips AS he was making the drink. Like super unprofessional and annoying. I always tip my bartenders, so his behavior was unnecessary. He just kept going off about how his only main source of income is through tips. I hate being guilted into tipping when I’m just having a good time.
Jolie P — Google review
Love it as a place to go and dance, however it can be very hit or miss, sometimes the drinks are great, sometimes they really suck. Sometimes the bouncers are complete jerks and sometimes they are super nice. We mostly go here because there aren't very many others in our area.
Madeline W — Google review
Amazing atmosphere, great music and you can tell these bar tenders really put their heart and soul into customer service. Drinks are hand crafted and beyond affordable. Come for the party, stay for some of the best looking bar backs in this part of the country. 10/10 would recommend and I’ll be spending every weekend here from now on!

Zan is by far the best club in Springfield! They have great deals every week on drinks and I always feel very safe with the amount of security they have around. They also have the best bar staff, the two blondes are definitely my favorite.

Nestled in Springfield, Jimm's Steakhouse & Pub is the epitome of a refined yet relaxed dining experience. This charming venue specializes in classic steakhouse fare, making it an ideal destination for both casual meet-ups and special celebrations. On weekends, guests are treated to live piano music that enhances the inviting ambiance. The happy hour offers a delightful opportunity to unwind with friends while savoring delicious dishes like braised short ribs and grilled salmon with bourbon glaze.
My wife took me to lunch for my birthday at Jimm’s Steakhouse at 1935 S Glenstone Ave, Springfield, Mo., we're on a tight budget so we only eat out for special occasions, I wanted to do an honest review. I wanted to stress, I have no affiliation with Jimm’s, this is not a paid review. Some places in this group pay for fake reviews in a practice called astroturfing, to fool the potential customers with fake reviews into coming to their place for lunch or dinner. This is an honest review from a retired Marine, who detest that disgraceful, dishonest, illegal business practice. So please read this review to help you and others try a Jimm’s Steakhouse & Pub, if you haven’t already. We entered the business at 1:00 pm, we were greeted by 2 ladies at the podium in front hallway, very warmly, with smiles, who said hello, welcome. We told them we had a reservation we made only 15 minutes prior, they said of course and 1 of the ladies said follow me please. We were seated in an alcove which was perfect for the three of us. But a little chilly with the AC vent focused on the edge of the room, but still comfortable. Waiter Robbie, came to introduce himself and take our drink order, very soon after us being seated, but waited while we situated ourselves. Very friendly, and helpful. He brought our drinks back and we ordered an appetizer, peppadews, and our meals, My wife the Hawaiian chicken, my son a cheese burger, me the special black & blue sirloin. Robbie informed me 1 trip to the salad bar was included with my lunch special. He came back with bread in just a couple of minutes and informed us our appetizer would be up in about 7 minutes. I went for my salad at salad bar, lettuce was crisp, cold, there was fresh spinach, broccoli, peppers, macaroni salad, potato salad, and much more. I just got what I wanted, covered with a ranch dressing and went back to enjoy. Just as I finished my salad, Robbie brought our appetizer to the table, warned us it was hot, and informed us our entrees would be delivered in around 12 minutes. He asked if there was anything he could get us, poured us water and refilled my son’s Dr Pepper, and then went to service his other tables in the room. The appetizer was absolutely delicious, hot at first, but delicious and for the price a great buy. Just as we finished the appetizer our entrees were delivered by a young lady who said they were very hot, and asked if there was anything else we needed? Would you like to cut into the middle of your steak while I'm here? We politely thanked her and said we were good. All of the entrees looked great, the presentation top notch. We started on our entrees, I cut into my steak which was medium. It was cooked to perfection, the taste of the blackened rub, combined with the blue Cheese crumbles was awesome. The mash potatoes hot and scrumptious. My son’s burger and fries looked awesome, and he said the flavor was great. My wife said the Hawaiian chicken was good, however somewhat firm. Overall, everything was good. We ate and as we were finishing, Robbie came to ask how was everything? We told him great, and thanked him. He informed us that if we had any leftovers, he would box it up for us. I told him we enjoyed everything so much, and even though we normally have leftovers we weren’t going to have any today. He asked if we wanted to try any of their deserts, I told him it was my birthday and I would have the brownie as my cake to go. He was surprised, asked if it was really my birthday, I told him yes. He said happy birthday, its mine too! We told him happy birthday, he thanks us, and informed us the brownie is normally served with ice cream so he would pack it with ice to go so we could enjoy later. I said you know what, lets just get it for here. Were full, but we will try. Robbie arrived just a few minutes later with a large Brownie covered with a peanut butter mousse, and a scoop of ice cream. I tasted it first, it was truly AWESOME. I told my wife and son they had to try it. My wife said she was full and couldn’t eat any more, but we kept trying.

We had a great time at the new version of “Steak And Ale”. I grew up in the SPFD area back in the 70’s-80’s and I was always jealous of my peers that would dine there. Now for Mother’s Day I was able to take my mom there for some amazing food and dining experience. Great salad bar. The steak was cooked to perfection and the service was on point. Will come again!

My wife and I had a very lovely meal, celebrating my birthday. Her chicken had a delicious taste. My steak was cooked to perfection and tasted great. And the salad bar was well stocked. Our server was very pleasant and professional in her attentive needs to us. A very nice dining experience and atmosphere. I would highly recommend this eating establishment for a mighty fine dining experience. 😋

If you haven’t tried this Springfield favorite, give them a chance. Meals are made to order, no industrial franchise type taste. They can meet dietary restrictions, such as no salt and they give great attention to how much you will enjoy your meal. There is a dynamic salad bar. There is always someone there working it, replacing food items, cleaning, and making sure it is cold. They serve a delicious brown bread and offer wine tastings. Last night we tried the prime rib from the early menu which included a trip to the salad bar. Loaded baked potato, and even dessert for $25. The attention to service here is phenomenal.

Jimm's Steakhouse was delicious! The prime rib was so tender. Our waitress was wonderful and very friendly, along with the other ones. The atmosphere was friendly! Instead of going to the big chain Steakhouse we decided to try this one as the wait wasn't as long only 30 mins to get seated on a Saturday night! Only Con I have is the table was a but small for a party of 4. Prices to me were a bit on the higher side but the food was delicious!

I can’t believe that I’ve never been to this Springfield restaurant staple until today. The ambience was great and I loved their 1980s playlist of pop. Service and food were great, especially the brown bread, making it all the more charming, in my thoughts. I cannot wait to return and try something new!

Me and my boyfriend made a reservation and when we got there we were immediately seated. All of the staff were super kind and accommodating. I’m a picky eater but they catered to my preferences perfectly. Our waitress Sophia was amazing, super friendly and all around very pleasant! She checked on us several times, and as someone who has worked in the food industry before I could see her cleaning up and catering to us and other customers quickly. The atmosphere was amazing, but I would bring a jacket because it does get a little cold. I got the Cajun pasta with the Gouda Mac and it was all amazing. For dessert we got the creme brûlée, they torched it at our table which was so much fun. For the price we won’t be going again way too soon, but we are absolutely coming back. Better service, and pricing than Flame for sure, for the same quality of food too.

After reading reviews, I suppose my expectations were too high. The food was ok. First, it was luke warm and I like my dinner, especially a good filet hot. The butter I put on my green beans didn't even melt over the time I was there. Second, the filet was eh... not having much flavor at all. I will say, the salad bar was good, probably the best part of the meal. The service was good and it's a cute place with some character. I can't say it was a $40+ experience. Disappointing for sure.

Café Cusco, located on Historic Commercial Street, offers a vibrant dining experience with traditional Peruvian dishes and cocktails in a stylish and colorful setting. The menu features a variety of rice and pasta entrees, including the popular lomo saltado made with thin-sliced steak sautéed with peppers, red onions, roma tomatoes, garlic, white wine, and tamari.
Interesting shape on the sweet potato fries. Food is very good. Service was prompt, but not rushed. First time at this restaurant for lunch...it was a pretty good experience. The building had very interesting architecture & vintage features with a nice ambience. Not a large place. The tables were spaced out nicely. There were a couple of booths that were very grand looking.. not your typical 50s diner booth. Lots of cocktails and drinks which may be their specialty because it's definitely not the iced tea, old tasting ;(

Delicious!!! I got the Amazon Fried Rice and it was so packed with flavor. The fried plantains were so perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside as well. So many different dishes to try that I hadn't heard before in any other restaurant. I will be back for another culinary experience and the cozy upscale vibes with great prices. Also, they have an entire separate menu for vegans, so there really are great options for any palate!

This beautiful cozy restaurant features American and Peruvian dishes. I had the Amazon Rice with chard, pork, rice, peas, onions, and topped with fried plantain. Flavorful without heavy spice. Hot sauce was on the table. Fish, chicken, pasta, salads, wraps, and more. Full bar, eclectic wine list with South American wines. The carved wood and stained glass booths elevated the atmosphere and suited the copper tile ceiling.

A must stop ! Located in a beautiful historical downtown area . They offer 2 separate menus here , one regular and one entirely vegan . Robust flavor , portions weren’t outta control . Prices were on the higher end but well worth it.

Stopped here while looking for a band family dinner on the way to our hotel. We always look for places that offer vegan options as well and we were not disappointed with Café Cusco! We were able to call and make a reservation for 5 with no problem. They staff was very kind and welcoming when we arrived and the food was AMAZING. I was happy to stop somewhere that had a really nice take on traditional Peruvian cuisine to show my bandmates a little piece of my heritage as the daughter of a Peruvian born parent!

Civil Kitchen is a popular indoor-outdoor spot in Springfield, offering a view of Park Central Square. It's known for its creative American dishes and extensive craft beer selection, best enjoyed during happy hour with half-priced appetizers and discounts on draft beer and wines. The restaurant is favored by downtown employees for lunch breaks and south-side workaholics seeking a change of scenery.
On business in Springfield, our bartender at the hotel suggested this place. First of all, I was impressed how downtown here has improved, thriving and alive. The atmosphere is great, but the food was amazingly good. I am a big fan of Pork Belly, and their bbq PB was fantastic. The Colossal onion rings were well colossal and delicious. If you have seen my reviews that have been viewed by 40 million people, you know that I do not give five stars easy! I travel all over every week, so if you want to know more about the places I visit, please feel free to follow me.

I loved the atmosphere of this place. It felt like a hole in the wall with 5 star restaurant quality. My waitress was amazing and always on top of things. I got the breakfast burger which was delicious, but the meat needed a little more seasoning. The brusselsprouts were amazing too. They were a little too tart for my preferences.

This is a delicious and neat stop in Springfield. The establishment is very clean and the staff was great - Emery was one of the best servers we've had in a really long time. Would return here again when in the area.

The Brussels sprouts and their brownie dessert were yummy, as was the peach and basil gin and tonic. Delicious French fries. Overall average experience. I ordered a salad and specifically asked for it to come before dinner. It didn’t. No big deal. When my food was delivered, I just told them I don’t need the salad anymore. Was then told the manager said I still needed to pay for it, and so did I want it boxed up. I asked to speak to the manager at that time. Was later told my waitress they would not charge me for it. It wouldn’t have even been an issue if they just wouldn’t have tried to charge me for the salad to begin with. There is a $5 parking garage up the street. Limited street parking.

Given that this was a doordash I expected less than fresh. However the sandwich was missing the sauce and had 1/2 grisly. The miso potatoes were not seasoned and no different from any other chopped potatoes. All the sides were drowning in oil and lacked any flavor or seasoning. The o e saving grace was the fried kale. I'd like to believe that in person dining would be better but the lack of flavor makes me think not. Likely won't try again but maybe in a few years. Springfield has some good local food but I would not recommend this.

I enjoy this place. I had the blue goat burger and it was a unique take on a smashburger. I had sweet potato waffle fries. I love dipping my fries and blue cheese dressing. Civil Ktchen takes ranch dressing and puts in blue cheese chunks. It actually works a lot better than I expected.

We made an order on door dash and my husband ordered the pork belly tacos and received the most disgusting, unappealing dish we've ever seen. We weren't even sure what it was, and concerned that my husband might not even be able to eat it due to his allergies. After trying some of it it seems like it's a straight slab of pork belly with a very disappointing side dish. It was not even good. He was so excited about the tacos and this dish ruined our hopes for a good night together without having to cook for ourselves. Why would you ever even offer this as an alternative?!? Please see photo, tell me it doesn't look like depression era food... I hate to leave a 1 star review for a reputable restaurant, but I'm just appalled and insulted that someone would even attempt to serve this.

Aviary by Lavender Falls Cafe offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with vintage accents, serving French-inspired fare such as crêpes and steak frites. The restaurant features a charming entrance with a hitching post and sidewalk tables for outdoor dining. Their menu includes delectable options like the Hen & Pine crêpe and the Green Goddess salad, along with tempting desserts like the Lemoncello crepe with marshmallow fluff.
Great place for breakfast or brunch! I got the Funkey Monkey crepes with banana, and it did not disappoint. As much as I loved the crepes, the Smoked Salmon Toast stole the show. This appetizer could pass as a meal. I was impressed with the taste and quality of the food. They didn't go cheap on the salmon either. That toast was loaded and delicious! The service was also good. I'll definitely be returning to Aviary. If you go around lunch hours, I would definitely recommend joining the wait list online if you plan on dining in.

Overall cute restaurant but I would recommend avoiding Saturday brunch hours as it is very loud and chaotic during those hours making the whole experience less enjoyable. Had the burger with fries and it was really good and filling. The fries are more like a thick homemade chip and they are very good. I’ve also had the Nutella and fruit crepe in the past and they are okay- good value during happy hour if they still do that. Their crepes are on the thicker side though. I will say that despite how busy it is on Saturdays, the workers were still very nice and service was not overly slow.

It was my first time here and was not disappointed at all in fact it was beyond my expectations. My server Anna was amazing. She recommended everything and it was excellent. The two drinks were an almond joy latte and a raspberry mocha latte. For the meal it was the black and bleu crepe with loaded pomme frites. It was possible the best savory crepe I have ever tasted. The only thing I would critique is the pomme frites could’ve been seasoned or coated a little more for me but frankly that’s such a minimal issue. All in all I will definitely come back and next time I’ll bring my family.

Was a wonderful rustic environment with plenty of woodworking, low/natural lighting plenty of birdhouses painting and open outside views.Quick to seated even in a packed house service was slow, but that’s to be expected with how busy it was. Now on to the meat and potatoes, or should I say bacon and eggs I have the pleasure of trying the: IS IT MORNING? Topped With Crème Fraiche & Parmesan, filled with scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Caramelized Onion, cheddar jack cheese. Wrapped in made to order crepes. This was a very delectable way to have brunch all your tried and true classics rolled into a sweet and savory mix every thing melded well and it wasn’t overly sweet or salty. Was huge portion with 3 total crepes with a side. Speaking of sides the bacon cheddar Grits were to die for as a southerner born and raised these grits hit the spot so good I had to get some to take home. Overall the entire meal was filling tasty and not to costly with a price point of about 10-20$ a meal!

I've been here quite a few times since moving to Springfield and it has never dissapointed!! Such a good variety of sweet and savory crepes, sandwiches and more! On top of that, the decorations on the inside make for an "upscale" and cozy vibe. Of note, I've gotten to try: Drinks: Cafe bon bob, lavender latte Entrees: Breakfast Smashburger with Tomato Bisque soup, Steak and Eggs Crepe, Shrimp Scampi Crepes Dessert: Funky Monkey Sweet crepe with all 3 fruit Both of the drinks I tried were delicious, though if I had to choose between the two of them, I'd recommend the Cafe BonBon In terms of entrees, the Breakfast Smashburger was by far my favorite!! So many different flavors that blend well together. And if you're worried about the Sriracha aioli being too spicy, I can assure you that it isn't! I'm a wimp with spice and this wasn't spicy at all for me, it was more of an added flavor. The steak and eggs crepes was decent; however I wouldn't personally recommend the Shrimp Scampi crepes. Finally, it's hard to go wrong with the funky monkey crepes if you're looking for something sweet! A must visit Breakfast spot for any newcomers to Springfield!

A phenomenal rustic dining cafe nestled in a more trendy district of Springfield. I came with a group of six. Our server was kind, efficient, and helpful, and the menu was very accommodating to common allergens. I ordered the Black and Bleu savory crepe with a side of pomme frites, and it was absolutely divine. Wait times were less than ten minutes for the entire table. If I lived local to Springfield, I'd come back a thousand times. With vintage-style edison bulbs, plenty of natural wood, and a front-facing kitchen, the atmosphere was chic and relaxed. The bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. 10/10 would recommend.

By far the best breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurant I’ve been to. There wasn’t a wait to be seated. I ordered a Carmel Macchiato, I really enjoy coffee and their macchiato is one of the best I’ve had. I recommend that or one of the Italian crème soda. Ordering our food was difficult bc I wanted to try multiple things. I can’t wait to go back and try the chicken and French toast. I decided on the breakfast poutine with the cheesy bacon grits, and my wife had the banana foster and of course it was incredible. Aviary’s is at the top of my list.

Big Whiskey's American Restaurant & Bar Downtown is a popular spot in downtown Springfield, known for its hearty American eats and impressive happy hour menu. The restaurant offers generous portions of shareable dishes like fried pickles and loaded fries at half price during happy hour, along with discounts on house wines and specialty cocktails. With locations across several states, including Las Vegas and Alabama, Big Whiskey's provides a comfortable patio seating area suitable for families.
When I say these tenders were BUSSIN’. I don’t know what kind of secret breading they use, but it is phenomenal. From the texture, to the flavor, to even the effort for presentation for takeout food. I was shocked the chicken was so juicy for being takeout as well. And the honey mustard is delicious. This is honestly better than Canes. 10/10 will order again and 10/10 will make my friends try.

Horrible service. When we arrived, I had to ask a waitress to clean a table for us outside, all were empty but none of the tables had been cleared off from previous customers. We have now been here over 30 minutes and none of the tables outside were clean when we got here and still have not been cleaned. After 20 minutes of us ordering drinks, my wife went in and got them off the bar while the bartender smiled at her. Now after 40ish minutes, we are still waiting on a burger. Honestly, there are currently 6 people inside this venue. I’ve been a lot of places to eat and drink in Springfield and this is by far the worst ever. And then, when we finally got the food, the waitress said the fried circles in a bowl, outside the burger, were onions. They were fried jalapeños. Unreal!! I literally cannot believe this. And after the meal was finally brought to us, we had to ask for napkins and silverware. There are so many amazing eateries downtown, please do not waste a minute here.

There was a dead bug in my drink. The server was very kind and made me a new one. Then my food came and my plate came with dried food residue on it. Nothing on my plate matched the color so I know it wasn’t from my food. Cleanliness was an issue with my dining experience. My server was very kind about the whole situation.

Lindberg's Tavern, Springfield's oldest bar dating back to the 1800s, has a rich history as it was once listed as a house of ill repute. In 2009, Ryan Dock and Eric Weiler took over the lease and fulfilled their dream of opening a kitchen last year.
Fun urban tavern vibe. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried all different things at the table & loved them all. The house made ketchup is AMAZING. Our server Ryan was very knowledgeable about the food & kept us happy while we were there. We are foodies, and will absolutely be back!

I'm going to give my honest review. The Bartender / manager was a really cool guy. The establishment itself has a really cool atmosphere, the textured ceilings are a nice touch and I like the location. The food: I ordered a patty melt which is a double smashburger on rye bread I believe with thousand Island dressing grilled onions and grilled mushrooms? It came with thousand island dressing on it but I won't fault them for that because I forgot to ask to have it removed. The sandwich was very delicious, and what made it better was their house made ranch dressing. I chose to get poutine as a side because I have heard of it but I've never tried it. I have to say it was very underwhelming. If it had been hot and fresh it probably would have been much better, but unfortunately it was cold and the french fries were soggy. I don't know if that's the way it's supposed to be made but I would have preferred hot, fresh and crunchy french fries. All in all the experience was good, the place was fun, the staff was friendly and the food was pricey but okay.

Quick, friendly, and so good. The pork rinds were still crackling when they came out and they were fantastic. I went to wash my hands after ordering and they were already ready by the time I sat back down. The servers were amazing. So friendly and attentive while also very down to earth and welcoming. The House Smash burger was what you dream that burgers will taste like. Not even joking, this is probably the best burger in Springfield. The hand made ketchup is unique and flavorful with tangy tomatoes blended with sage and herbs. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh flavors and amazing service.

Had the absolute best and most wholesome dinner experience here tonight with my 6 year old son with autism and my best friend . While I used to frequent here years ago, since having my son I had been hesitant to bring him in due in part to my experiences thus far at other places with a high energy, loud, and sometimes chaotic child. Right off the bat, everyone was so accommodating and didn't bat and eye when we came in with said high energy child. In fact, they encouraged it! They told me he could play the piano I was prying him off of (worried we would get in trouble) and I think the ONLY time our sweet waitress Brittany seemed bothered; was when I kept apologizing for him- she reminded me without even saying this ; let kids be kids. Every time she could interact with him, she would, which she didn't even know- gave me a minute to eat, or finish telling a story, or just a moment to breathe without being worried that he was being too loud- and that alone , was so kind. The band members talked to him (he was so interested in drums) and they even came to tell me about their experience , and a local program in town🥹 12/10 can't say enough good things🥹

Staff is great The Karaoke participation is awesome they have pool tables, a dance floor, great drinks. And let me tell you what I was most impressed with, I’m a people person and I enjoy watching and studying people sometimes. Their Bouncer is absolutely the best! He is really on top of things! I mean this guy doesn’t miss anything, it’s like he can see in 10 different directions all at the same time! And there has never been anyone get out of line with someone else the 2 times I was there, maybe he’s a little intimidating to some people, just to look at him you know you don’t want to try to tussle with him. But he sees someone having a little more than they perhaps should have and he’ll offer them a water. Now that’s not something you see EVER!! Anyway he’s great just thought I’d throw that out there. It really is a place worth checking out!

On Friday and Saturday nights, any song with a tempo less than 90 cannot be performed. This is the owner's policy. It was somewhat disheartening, as it was a song I wished to perform, but due to timing, I was unable to do so. I felt as though I was being penalized for merely wanting to express myself through singing and being rejected was a mood killer maybe i was just passing through the state. It's was a song that holds significant personal meaning, and I regret not being able to share it with the audience. I could have been waiting there because a flight got canceled or just waiting on a flight to arrive. If 45 minutes after leaving the Pub the plane crashes and the last thought going thru your mind is not being able to sing the song I loved to the world.!!!

So I went to friends karaoke Saturday night and forgot to tab out I haven’t had a chance yet to pick up my card and today I get 3 random charges on there from meta pay someone name Jaime was trying to send money with my card on Facebook pay. It’s funny bc I don’t even have that card linked to my Facebook pay so I know it’s not my Facebook doing anything I called them the girl Brittany over the phone tried to say they didn’t have it bc they don’t do tabs with cash app or chime cards and I then told her I called that same night after I left and realized I left my card the girl I talked to Saturday night told me it was there this girl tonight tells me they don’t have it bc they don’t accept the chime or cash app cards I told her I talked to that girl the same night n she told me they had it so the girl gets to looking finds it and then says they have it. But told me no one there could have used it but they have a Jaime that works there and the night I did a tab the bartender turned around and put my card in a cup with other cards. The fact they didn’t seem to have an hire to look into it kinda pisses me off. Now i have to wait for the boss to call me I guess. When I got there to get my card the girl walked right over and popped the drawer open with one botton n it was below the register. Any staff coulda hit that one botton and popped it right open. But the manager refused to look into this and swore up n down his staff didn’t do it. It’s funny there was a Jaime working that same exact night. But he said it didn’t happen simply bc people are not allowed behind the car which doesn’t mean it couldn’t have still happened it was there from Saturday night until Tuesday at 10:ish pm

I Will never be going back there . I attached a screenshot of one of the attempts as proof.

Absolute worst time at a karaoke bar that I’ve ever had. We signed up at 8 o’clock and sat there till 1 am and watched multiple people sing multiple songs and even some people sing 2-3 songs IN A ROW and STILL haven’t sang. We spent over $500 on our bar tab and had 6 different people sign up and NONE of us sang. If you don’t know the DJ, you’re not gonna sing so don’t even waste your time. The bar was a pretty dope experience but if you call yourself a karaoke bar then you need to offer karaoke. We wasted 5 hours and our entire night to get ignored. 1,000% will never be back.

My friends and I went to friends last night for my birthday! First and foremost I need to say that JESS was amazing! She was our server and was on TOP of her game! She was not only super on top of keeping our drinks full-She completely went out of her way to make the night soo much fun! We loved her so much and would honestly go back JUST to hang with her! Everyone else that worked there was amazing as well! Bethany was our other waitress and she was AWESOME as well! She too was on top of her game-and just a super sweet person in general to have around all night! She was a doll! Caleb was the DJ and he kept things light and fun all night! His choice of music in between performers was stuff that everyone knew and got everyone singing together which made for an awesome atmosphere! He was really great at getting everyone involved and making it feel more like one big party with a bunch of new friends! Brittany behind the bar was a delight as well! Very friendly and knowledgeable about products! And even better- THIS girl knows how to make one hell of a drink!!! I never leave reviews-especially long ones like this-but My group and I had an awful experience at the restaurant we went to prior for dinner-and this place literally saved the night! And we were just BIG time impressed with the overall vibe! I 100% 10/10 recommend going here for any event you’re celebrating-or even just to have a blast on any occasion! Whoever put this crew together definitely knows what they’re doin!

Club Rodeo is a lively bar and dance club that offers a mix of country and dance music, creating an energetic atmosphere for patrons. The venue features a spacious dance floor, ample seating, and a large outdoor patio. On Friday college nights, there's free cover with a valid college ID until 10:30 pm, along with happy hour drink specials from 7-9 pm. Guests can enjoy line dancing and socializing while savoring bar bites and drinks at reasonable prices.
If you’re into country line dancing this is definitely the place to be!!! The dance floor is huge and there are pool tables! A bit of a younger crowd but you’ll still have a good time! They also have lessons where you can learn a thing or two! Very cool place!

I just want to write a review. Because the most recent comment says something about transgender people. When everybody knows it's 2025 and trump has declared there is only 2 genders. So if somebody has male body parts but dresses like a girl or is half girl on top or bottom they are still technically what they were born to be. Male or female. You can't just dress like a girl and be called a girl without the body parts. You are what people call wannabes. Stop pretending to be a different gender without the full body parts surgery. Also if you walk into a bar with a "service dog" but you tell staff it's a emotional support animal. They will kick you out whether you have documentation or not. Because a real service dog does not have documentation to prove they are the real deal. 😂 People have every right to kick you out then you lie about your experience because they were right and you were wrong.

Came out with some friends on a Saturday night and it was a lot of fun, one of the best run and most fun bars I’ve ever been too. My Bar tender was Great too, I think her name was Kylie but despite having a busy bar she treated us great. We will be back

It is a good time at Club Rodeo. I'm now a cowboy, so I'm glad they play other than country music as well. Great drinks and even better bartenders. It's nice to have an outside area that invites smokers to have a chance to get away yet still be a part of the party!

Do not bring your trans friends here! My friend was removed from the women’s bathroom and made to show her ID and was banned. Mind you she was dressed in a skirt and tights and makeup. She was not offered any alternative to going to the men’s room which wouldn’t have been safe for her. I called up after this experience and head of security told me she should’ve been offered security in the men’s bathroom to ensure her safety, she was never offered this. I asked if this was the owners policy but never received a callback. Not a queer friendly space, and honestly DJ was trash.

Normally I live this place have a blast spend tons of money like $300 at a time got hot with a bottle and said something to the bouncer and got nothing but back talk crazy I drive an hour and a half to frequent this establishment and am second guessing doing so from here on out.

Currently here and sitting while in writing this. I’m coming from Texas and by far the worst experience from every country bar I’ve been to. To start off, the drinks are starting at $5 and up. (Beers, Wells/U Call It.) The bartender didn’t know what a blue Hawaiian was and she charged me .20 for pineapple and sprite. A cup of coke/Pepsi was $5.20. Second, the dance floor is always packed with people just standing around. We could not even do any of the line dances when they played. It would be nice if security or management would tell people to get off the dance floor if they’re not dancing. -Edit to reply to owner- Response from the owner: “The .20 is a cc service charge, and we’re a college bar that plays country. You can 2-step and line dance easily until 10:30. Then we throw a party until close. Just a heads up!” ^- alright so is every country bar I’ve been to is near a major university. I don’t care about the music y’all play just tell people to get off if they’re not gonna utilize the dance floor. There’s plenty of space on the drink floor to stand around and chat with your friends. :)

Vantage Rooftop Lounge and Conservatory is a sophisticated rooftop bar located atop the V2 building of Hotel Vandivort. It offers sweeping views of downtown Springfield from its expansive outdoor patio, where you can relax in booths, couches, benches, or cabanas with fire pits. The menu features small bites, craft cocktails, and batch drinks to enjoy while taking in the city skyline and a beautiful sunset. The ambiance is described as art deco-inspired inside with a big-city aesthetic outside.
Their menu is short, but with amazing options. Each dish is the perfect appetizer size for 2 people and the drinks are phenomenal! We came here kind of late and were able to order food right before the kitchen closed. We started off with 2 drinks: a glass of Sauvignon Blanc for me and an Orange Dream for my husband. We were very hungry so we ordered 2 appetizers. The mezze board comes with fresh flatbread, falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, and tzatziki. We also ordered chips and dip. The dip was yogurt based with chives. Everything tasted absolutely wonderful and flavorful that our plates were sparkling clean by the time we were done. Their service was fast, the staff friendly and attentive. The rooftop location is great offering both indoor and outdoor seating. Overall an absolutely fantastic experience, definitely a must if you’re in Springfield!

We have been coming to vantage for about 5 years now and used to love this place. Great vibe and lovely cocktails. However there appears to have been a change in the way things are run around here now. Bartenders have poor knowledge of drinks, there are hidden costs added to drink orders. The manager Hannah is extremely rude, not sure if she’s just racist or condescending to all her customers.
SpiceRoot66 — Google review
We went right after sunset and I have to say, this is a hidden gem. Very modern and sleek with nearby parking, great craft cocktails, a fantastic view, and yummy small plates. Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a more refined cocktail/lounge experience in the area.

The environment was modern and upscale with a view of the city skyline. The food, mainly small-plates was pleasing and aesthetic. The crafted cocktails gave clout to the classy reputation of the rooftop bar.

Get the Coca bread! Most delicious flatbread dish I’ve ever had. The bread was so pillowy and soft. The vibes are immaculate especially during golden hour. Everyone was so courteous and welcoming as soon as we came in. The patio is so nice.

Excellent views. Excellent drinks. Excellent service. Excellent atmosphere. Comfortable seating. Comfortable noise levels. Great Sorbet. Beautiful outdoor seating area also with wonderful city skyline. Elevator might take a little while. Selection floor “V”.

Absolutely worth the trip! A truly great experience and will be going back soon. The bacon sampler that we had was absolutely the best bacon that I have ever had. It was perfectly cooked think slices of bacon drizzled on a sweet sauce. It was the perfect combination. We were in a hurry when we were there, so we didn't get to try as much as we wanted to, but I'm sure that if you order anything off of their vast menu, then you will not be let down in the slightest. The staff is also amazing. They were very kind and helpful in every way. It's a great experience and worth every second. The igloo's are also an awesome addition to the beautiful rooftop. From this point you can see almost everything in Springfield and the sunsets are seen beautifully. I would recommend anyone that I know to stop by the hidden gem in Springfield. This place actually wasn't as expensive as one would think. A great place for a good time in downtown.

Flea market
Located on Trafficway Street in the heart of the city, The Vintage Peddler is a locally owned flea market offering a wide range of industrial, vintage, and re-purposed pieces for your home and garden. Boasting unique antiques and hard-to-find items, this 12,000 square foot space is divided into booths filled with custom pieces by creative artists and sellers.
This is the best vintage/ antique store I’ve ever been to! It’s a really good place to buy good quality and one of a kind pieces at amazing prices! Everyone is very helpful and friendly. All of the spaces are clean, organized and and well curated. I would be in every weekend if I lived closer!

It's a nice store full of interesting things. The reason for 2 stars is because I brought the item I wanted to purchase to the cash register, sat the item down and opened my purse.. stood there for about 5 min with employees walking right by me whilst they were behind the counter. So I put the item up and left. Lol. Guess I wasn't meant to buy it.
L S — Google review
I LOVE this shop. Beautiful booths, SO much to look at! Prices are definitely higher, but most of the stuff in there is antique, not just second hand, so i don’t expect thrift store prices. There are some booths that have items that seem like cheap drop shipped prints. Type of stuff that you find overpriced on Etsy. Wish it was just true, authentic antiques. But overall a nice antique store :)

Beautiful store. Their vintage items well presented. Some things are a bit too high, but I imagine one could make deals. This would be the only reason I give them four stars.

Went for my first time today! Literally the coolest vintage antique store I've been to. Sooo many neat finds. A lot of it is pretty expensive, but its just amazing to go through and just admire all the rare pieces. Many stores these days just buy items that look vintage....but this store actually has vintage things. Highly recommend.

The Vintage Peddler has become my favorite antique store in the Springfield area after the loss of Urban Market. It’s more on the upscale side. Nothing junky here! They have a little something for all styles and tastes. From the classic Ethan Allen look, to mid-century modern. I’ve found a number of good deals such as beautiful repurposed light fixture on sale for $30.00

Awesome day time bartender. We asked for tequila drinks and he went to work. Chill place to relax during the day. Great music. People coming and going. And ghosts everywhere. Don’t go in the bathroom. There’s no mirror and that may shock you, woman, man, other, whatever. And don’t wear silver. Vampires.

Great specials, selection, and music. The prices were similar to most college bars...Cheap! They had an old fridge behind the bar that had a neon light inside of it, which looked really cool when the bartenders opened it to get drinks. They also had the "mystery beer" special for $2. The "mystery beer" ended up being the grapefruit seltzer that my friend wanted. There was free pinball in the back and anime on the TV/projector. This place is an affordable good time.

Awesome selection of bourbon, scotch, and other liquors. Staff was very friendly. Prices are a little high though. The pour of bourbon (served neat) I received was very small. It was literally 1 oz instead of a 2 oz pour as stated on their menu. Where they definitely failed was on a Moscow mule. It wasn't made very well and was served in a glass. An $8 Moscow mule was served in a glass! There were multiple copper mugs (21 within view) hanging on the wall behind the bar. Unacceptable for a place like this.

(Update: this review is from when they were know as scotch and soda. I haven’t been since the change. So I don’t know if this review matching the current menu) First time in Springfield. I saw this place after leaving a brewery. All my friends wished we had come here first so we could have drank more. I originally got the quick fix. Loved it! My friend got the Bella Morte. I liked it. She thinks it was the balsamic making it a bit bitter but I think she wasn't digging the basil. It tasted a little like celery juice. But it was such a cool summer vibe drink. I would get it again. We also go an appetizer of bread and honey. Great bread! Like the best biscuit you've ever had. The Salt and pepper on top was nice. Will be back for sure.
DeNae M — Google review
This is the bar you go to have some fun. Good drinks and friendly bartenders as well as being open longer hours than any other bar downtown. There's almost always a decent crowd and and they've got some good arcade games in the back if that's your thing. (original review was of Scotch & Soda that used to be at this location. Pictures are from there and I'll update them when I get the chance) Several truly unique drinks await you at this find locale. Huge selection of whiskey, scotch, and bourbon as well.

This place is BEYOND Awesome! Wes Anderson themed and it doesn't disappoint! The bartender that was working while I was there was great! She was talkative and super personable, really made the entire experience here top notch! The drinks were superb. I had 2 of the "little pilots" and a "genever sour", both were knock your socks off good! The owner was there and he was super friendly and a good conversationalist! The atmosphere here is incredible. It’s a little small if they’re only using the indoor but it’s still really cool. The design is after some movie producer. It’s a eclectic but cool. The outside gives a lot of room for warm weather socializing.

First off, this place looks like it is straight out of a Wes Anderson movie in an eclectic French bistro. The ambiance is so quaint and beautiful. Second, the lunch is amazing. So simple yet so delicious. A perfect size portion. I have had the Jambon Fromage and the Croutes aux Champignons. The ham sandwhich was perfect. Expect quality ingredients, very fresh and ate every bite. And the open-faced mushroom sandwhich was THE BEST thing I’ve ever had possibly. The mushrooms with the wine flavor and the perfect amount of cheese topping it. I can not express how much I have enjoyed eating here. I also had a bite of the Fromage Grille and it was certainly a top tier grilled cheese. Also the aïoli for dipping is exquisite. Please don’t stop serving lunch. I look forward to returning again and again.

The Royal is such a unique and eccentric bar. They craft their cocktails carefully and come up with drinks unlike any other bar in Springfield. The owner has created such a distinctive atmosphere and the bartenders are always friendly/prompt. It can be classy to bring someone on a romantic date, or casual enough to visit weekly. They recently added food to their menu that I think is worth talking about. Soup, sandwiches, and salads! It’s a quaint lunch time spot. Their potato leek soup is delightful and definitely worth stopping in for. Overall, the royal is a lovely and enjoyable experience.

Metropolitan Grill is a vibrant urban restaurant and bar that offers a modern take on American cuisine. The menu features a mix of flavors, including inventive cocktails, pasta, and steaks. The restaurant is known for its lively atmosphere and innovative dishes, such as Italian-bread-crusted Chilean sea bass with roasted tomato and capers. On Wednesday evenings, guests can enjoy live jazz music on the covered patio along with wine and cocktail specials.
Several things on the menu sounded unique and delicious! It was a hard choice on the rack of lamb, but it was really good. I worried the mint would overpower, but it was subtle. The risotto was creamy and excellent, and overall great presentation! My husband had been once before with coworkers and really wanted this spicy pizza he previously ordered. I had a bite, and it was delicious! The service was great, and very attentive on filling drinks multiple times throughout the night. There were 2 options of butter/ dipping sauce for bread service that were both great. Our server recommended we put both on at once and that idea was super good. We finished our dinner with a sopapilla cheesecake, and that was also excellent. I can't wait to come back and try all of the other unique things they have on their menu!

This was near our hotel and had decent reviews. I recommend it! We had been on the road for ten hours so wanted to relax over dinner. I had the smoked old fashioned which was very good and my wife had the elderflower cocktail which she really liked. The crisps spinach appetizer was a must try. A new taste for us. VG. Crystal took good care of us and was knowledgeable. We had the greenly (or something) pizza. Good crust and the meatballs plentiful and tasty. The other toppings were as well.

Honestly, for the prices charged, the food doesn’t keep up. We ordered our steaks medium. Well, they both came into our table just barely medium. Had to send them back to finish cooking. (And then you have to wonder what actually happens to them when they’re back there.) The rest of the food was pretty good. The mashed potatoes I would recommend! The extensive fish menu and thoughtfully crafted salads cater to health-conscious diners while ensuring everyone finds something they love.
Wonderful tasting food. Great price. Great service. Portions were just right. Hawaiian chicken dinner and baby back ribs with sides were cooked perfectly. Ribs meat fell off the bone. The key lime pie crust was definitely your "Great grandma's crust!"

The food, the service and busy-ness was great. My server was Bad Ass Ali. I enjoyed the FD Trio with shrimp, stuff shrimp and grilled salmon with green beans, baby carrots & coleslaw paired with a fuzzy navel (peach schnapps & orange juice). I ordered at cheeseburger and homemade key lime pie to go

This is probably our new favorite. Food was absolutely amazing. Steak was cooked perfectly, the buttery mashed potatoes was absolutely delicious. Buttery and smooth. Rich in flavor. Service was great and prompt. Was seated quickly even though they were busy. Food was fresh, very good for the price. Will definitely be eating here again! -Side note, if you're used to a plain "regular folk" salad, this was is a little fancy for my taste. It has strips of sour apples (I think that's what it was) and some sweet walnuts. It's a little different, especially with some ranch on it. I prefer just the basic lettuce, cheese, tomato, croutons and cucumbers. But to each their own.
Andrew B — Google review
FD's offers exceptional fish tacos, surpassing any I've experienced in Florida, which is a significant commendation. The spinach dip is outstanding. The restaurant's ambiance is ideal for both romantic evenings and social gatherings. Furthermore, the pricing is highly competitive, offering excellent value for the quality and quantity of food provided.

Nice atmosphere, super friendly and fast service. Food was wonderful and reasonably priced. Nice place to find in today's overpriced world. Potato soup was delicious, nice blend of spices. Chicken tender platter was more than enough food to bring on a food coma, ha ha. Will definitely be stopping in again whenever I'm around Springfield.

A Must-Visit! Absolutely Lived Up to the Hype! We chose FD's Grillhouse based on its consistently high rankings, and we were absolutely not disappointed! This was hands down some of the best food we've eaten in a long time. I had the fried shrimp, and my wife ordered the Hawaiian chicken. We made sure to share, and honestly, both dishes were excellent. The shrimp was perfectly crispy and flavorful. However, the Hawaiian chicken was the clear winner for us, largely due to its incredible house-made bourbon glaze. It's so good, we were thrilled to learn they sell it! Despite being crowded (a testament to its popularity), the service was still top-notch, attentive and friendly. We did have to wait a bit for a table, but it was incredibly well worth every minute. If you're in Springfield, MO, FD's Grillhouse is a don't-miss restaurant! You won't regret it.

We recently dined at FD's Grillhouse in Springfield for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience! Despite the bustling atmosphere and a 30-minute wait for our party of seven, the staff managed everything efficiently and with a smile. The service from both the kitchen and our attentive waitress Allie was top-notch. The appetizers set the tone for a great meal—especially the honey-glazed chicken and FD's trio, which were absolutely delicious. The kids enjoyed their chicken and fries, and the portion sizes were generous. The quality of the food exceeded our expectations, especially considering the reasonable prices. The ambiance was lively, and the restaurant's cleanliness stood out. It's clear why FD's is a popular spot in Springfield. We left satisfied and are already planning our next visit!

Houlihan's is a delightful dining destination that offers an American-style menu brimming with options to satisfy any palate. The restaurant also caters to diverse dietary preferences with meatless, organic, and whole-grain dishes. Guests can enjoy a well-curated selection of wines and cocktails while taking advantage of complimentary electric car charging stations at the Farmers Park location.
We are staying at the hotel that this restaurant is in so of course we had to try it it. The first night we ate here, we both didn’t like what we ordered. We ordered the stuffed chicken breast and the grilled salmon. The chicken was bland and the salmon was bland and dry. Our sides were pretty good though. But we really enjoyed the salad and brownie dessert. We decided to give it another try tonight and both ordered steaks! We got the filet and the sirloin. They were amazing! And cooked to perfection!! Then we got a sweet tooth after getting in bed so we ordered the mozzarella cheese appetizer (and another brownie lol) and omg they are to die for!! Pairs perfect with their homemade ranch. Moral of the story, I’m glad we gave them a second chance!!

I walked in just for a quick bite on a road trip and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing decor! The whole aesthetic of the soft lighting and color palette of the interior bring it all together into a nice, fancy restaurant setting without costing an arm and a leg.

The rating I am giving this business is for today only. I have eaten many meals at Houlihan’s and never had a problem until today. My fish was extremely undercooked and I’m not sure what the salad mix looking stuff was that was served with it. My husband mentioned that his burger tasted a little funny as well, but he was able to eat it. (I was only able to eat my fries.) I did not send my food back or complain about the food. I just simply chose to not eat it after the first couple of bites. I have eaten fish and chips there before and been very pleased. With all that said, the service was some of the best I’ve ever had. I believe our server name was Debi. Definitely five stars for her!

Definitely the best north side restaurant. One of the better in Springfield. Food was good, nothing amazing yet. Service was ok.

We enjoyed evening drinks and soup last night and it was delicious. I tried the espresso martini and a cosmopolitan and both were delicious. I tried both the French onion soup and the potato soup and both were delicious. Probably one of the best French onion soups I’ve ever had. (Compliments to who ever made my soup the late evening of September 27th.) Our bartender was Deidryck he was such a delight and attentive to any of our needs. Great experience at Houlihan’s.

1. Cora was an amazing waitress! 2. Atmosphere felt upscale but also very relaxed and enjoyable 3. The food was delicious! Our family ordered chicken tenders, Mac and cheese, spin dip, shrimp pasta and the fish and chips. It was all cooked perfectly! We will definitely be back!

We eat here regularly and while the service is slow, the food is always great. Today however, my husband had salmon and the crab cake sandwich thing. I don’t know which made him sick but he had been in the bathroom puking his guts out for the last hour and he sounds like he’s dying in there. We will NOT be back for a while which is sad bc it is one of my favorite places to eat.

Bambinos Cafe on Delmar is a charming Italian trattoria tucked away in a residential area near MSU, making it a favorite among local students. The restaurant, housed in a converted 1930s grocery store, exudes rustic charm with wood tables and terra-cotta floors. Voted one of the best Italian restaurants in town, it offers a welcoming, casual atmosphere and an extensive menu of Italian favorites.
Fresh chopped garlic with your bread basket. Excellent service! Cozy atmosphere and casual neighborhood vibe. Very delicious food. Local Art on the walls. Awesome Tiramisu. Very charming.

The mushroom ravioli was amazing! The spinach artichoke dip was very different. It was almost like Alfredo sauce with a few pieces of spinach and fewer artichokes. The bread that came with it wasn’t even toasted. Overall I would go back I just would not order the dip at all. My husband got the Greek pasta not a lot of feta and flavor was very mild.

This neighborhood restaurant was a pleasant surprise. It is clean, nicely decorated, the tables are comfortably spaced, In addition to a great menu, there are daily specials that are very tempting. The server was so good. She took the time to explain the menu, making great recommendations. The food was delicious! It tasted like homemade, which is a real treat! There is plenty of parking. Outdoor seating is an option. This place is a gem!

The new building is great. Artwork inside is good too. Food is fantastic like it has always been. The prices may make it the best value in town. Great restaurant!

Skip the Nonna. It tasted like can soup with boiled chicken. It wasn't very good. The bread however is good. Dip the bread in the garlic and it takes the nasty pasta flavor out of your mouth. The Greek was in a garlic butter sauce, with boiled chicken and canned olives. It was alright but bad after taste from the olives.

Chinese restaurant
Leong's Asian Diner is a laid-back Chinese restaurant with a full bar, renowned for its signature dish, cashew chicken. The eatery has an interesting history dating back to 1963 when David Leong created Springfield-style cashew chicken to cater to the American palate. This innovative dish became a local favorite and continues to be served at Leong's Asian Diner today.
The OG of all cashew chicken! This was a staple every weekend in my household growing up in the 80s. Every time I come back to Springfield, I always get an order of cashew chicken and this original dish did not disappoint. Great service! Super fun atmosphere plus they have two small private rooms or you can convert into one big room that host up to 50 people. You can have buffet style in that room or order individually. Again amazing service. Would recommend. Will come again.!

Tried several dishes here. Based on remembering GEE's on sunshine. The Cashew chicken was really good , sweet and sour pork as well. Beef and shrimp fried rice was excellent. Egg foo young was disappointing. Egg rolls had a bit too much peanut butter. The Wong tons had a great flavor and they have plum sauce which is awesome.
Paul L — Google review
Prices went up...again! Most definitely not worth the money. The food is maybe mediocre on its best day. This time, I ordered chicken fried rice: $10.99 lunch size. The fried rice was not fried but more mushy and lack of flavor big time. More like boiled rice with vegetables and meat. Couldn't finish it. Trash. I also ordered spring rolls: $7.99 for three. That's just crazy ridiculous price for three spring rolls. Over cooked on the outside but not quite done in the center. Didn't eat them. Trash. Finally, the sweet and sour chicken ($12.45 lunch) my daughter ordered was good to her so I can't complain on that. The inside has dust and spider webs everywhere. Clean bathroom. Overall, the food is nasty, the people are so sweet and kind and the prices are sky high. I won't be back and I won't recommend this place. I'm just being honest. I'll post pictures.

A friend of ours told us to check this place out, as the owner made the 1st cashew chicken. They were very busy, but our server was very direct and didn’t seem very happy. The cashew chicken was very good though, & my husband had the Asian salad which he enjoyed.

Came to try the Cashew Chicken, that I learned was this restaurant's invention from the documentary "The Search for General Tso". However, I was disappointed by the small portion size given how much they charged for the dish. The food tasted pretty good however.

We stopped here mid-week in August on a whim. The brewery has a very interesting layout, with a pretty extensive parking area, a "walk around to the rear of the building" entrance to the garden, and then the indoor brewery thereafter. There is quite a bit of space outside, and a fair amount indoor. But, what you really are reading this for is the brewery review. Upon entering the indoor area, you are able to complete a 6-beer flight sheet. There is a very large board above the counter with each brew and its characteristics. I chose a fairly light balance of wheat and lagers. The staff were quite helpful and friendly, making this a pretty nice experience. However, while I found the brews to quite aromic, they lacked a corresponding taste.

We had our wedding in the Barrelhouse at Mothers and I am still reeling in how perfect it was, the location and staff were perfect. Big shout out to Kyle who went above in the days leading up where my nervousness on my planning process was the highest, and Amir who answered my many questions over months of planning. We have loved Mothers for years, and it seemed like the most fitting place for our wedding, but seeing how it turned out and the help from the team there really solidified creating the perfect wedding I had always dreamed of having.

Great atmosphere, great food and a decent beer selection. All of the food was scrumptious and served by a wonderfully friendly and professional waitress. Only negative mark is I ordered fish and chips and the fries were extremely salty. Surprising since there is salt at the table to add if what it's prepared with is not enough. It's the only item I had to leave on the plate.

I've been coming to Dublin's pass for over a decade and every time I come they always have stellar food. They're Scotch eggs are without a doubt the best I've had anywhere. The service is always fantastic and prompt and I'm always happy with the quality of food. They're also one of the only places I can go to that can pour a proper dark side of the Moon. Anytime you around and you're looking for a really wonderful bite to eat check out their cottage pie or shepherd's pie and have a wonderful pint. Absolutely worth it

Upon arrival during Dinner . We were greeted by 2 people. Very pleasant and friendly. Seated immediately. We had 5 adults. Server was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. He had waters at the table within 1 min of seating. When we ordered drinks. The rest of the table ordered soda. I ordered unsweetened tea. He tried to steer me away from the “unusual” tasting tea. I said it was ok as I don’t drink sodas . He was right 😂 I drank it anyway. Ordered 5 appetizers Rueben Rolls - most excellent taste just like a Rueben Scottish eggs - unique flavor. Very crispy outside and the sauce made it even better Panko Fried shrimp - can’t go wrong with perfectly cooked shrimp Triple dip - This was good. But could’ve been better . Queso was on point. Salsa was good. Was wanting more spice tho. Guacamole was my only disappointment. No salt or spice and had a very distinct lemon/orLime taste. Fried pickles Breaded fried pickles - so good . Im not a fan of the sandwich style pickles for fried . However these were top notch. Entrees included Alfredo Mac with Shrimp x2 - So creamy and tender shrimp . - Huge Portions Pub Mac - The best Mac I’ve ever tasted . You can taste all the different kinds of cheese. Pasta perfectly cooked and enough to take home and enjoy later . Fish n Chips . This place Fried Cod rivals the best around. In a beer battered fish n chips competition. Hands down this would win. I love my fish. The show string fries are on fire. Perfectly seasoned and delicious. Slaw was slaw (not a fan of slaw) but was delicious, not too much dressing and not dry. El Dublin chicken and Chorizo with the house made queso . OMG . Served with tortillas. Overall the food is very well prepared . Service was top notch. He went above and beyond every step of the way. This place was packed and he never missed a beat. The young adults ordered soda floats for dessert. Very interesting combinations . Chocolate ice cream and Dr Pepper Cookies n cream with cherry coke Vanilla and cherry coke . We will be back. On top of everything. The seat we had was by the big window over looking the street. Dinner and entertainment 😂 Pictures are not the best. ( we were hungry )

Wow! We were in town looking for something different for dinner. Holy cow, we hit the jackpot! Everything we ordered was far better than we expected. Bangers and mash, fish and chips and two different burgers were all phenomenal! Plus a good selection of beer. The wife was hesitant to go to a “pub” with the kids. When we were leaving she told me I was right and picked a good place. I know that I’m always right but she rarely admits it!

Lost Signal Brewing Company is a popular brewery located along Springfield's Route 66. Housed in the former KICK radio station building, it has become a go-to spot for craft beer and slow-smoked barbecue. The menu features delectable options such as brisket, pulled pork, and crispy fried pickles. Visitors have raved about the delicious beer selection, with recommendations like the double smoked porter paired with brisket street tacos or a German-style beer with a brisket sandwich.
Being a tourist in town is sometimes hard to get good recommendations for places to eat. We had the fortune of visiting a competitors micro brewery and they recommended this place to try. The beer was delicious, had a double smoked porter to go along with some brisket street tacos. My partner had a good German style beer with a brisket sandwich, also a good pairing. This place oozes the craft beer scene and I wish I were local to take advantage of growler days!

Fairly expensive for what you get. I went with a group from work to try it out for the first time and for most of us we were satisfied . I myself had the bbq Nachos and a sweet tea and both were pretty good. Our food was served in a timely manner which was a plus as we were on our lunch break. A couple of guys I was with ordered the ribs and a couple more ordered the burt ends. All seem to be satisfied by their choices and commented the food was good. Our waiter was polite and very knowledgeable with the special of the day as well as menu items. The atmosphere was pretty neet and upbeat. You can sit and watch the brewer's at work which is pretty cool to see. As I said it's expensive for the portions you get but a nice place all in all.

Their bbq brisket and pulled pork was on point. I was worried when they only gave me a plastic fork with which to eat but I needn't have worried. It out the gnomes in a meat coma. And their beer - especially the Beach Party and Smoked Pecan Porter - were delicious as well. Hope to return on my next long weekend.

It’s so good and tasty! Mmmmmmmmm! The ratings are definitely on point. Lost Signal is a gem with the best brisket I’ve EVER had. It was incredibly soft, juicy and full of flavor which required no additional sauce and the brew? Wow! Overall an amazing experience and definitely worth the drive from St. Robert. The crew and I will definitely be back! Ciao darlings.

I like citrus-y beers with not too much hops, so the Little Bo Pits was perfect for me! And it went really well with my pulled pork sandwich. I definitely recommend using the spicy BBQ sauce on it - so good! The Mexican street corn was a good side dish as well. My kids loved the chicken wings and chicken street tacos. The menu isn't extensive, but it doesn't really need to be if the food is good - and it is.

The Mezcal Cognitive and Bogtrotter are popular choices, featuring Mudhouse espresso in creative concoctions. Guests can enjoy these drinks on the private back patio, which provides a shaded and cozy ambiance illuminated by colorful Christmas lights.
Loved this place, the environment was great and the drinks were very tasty as well. We got their version of an espresso martini and a bananas foster old fashioned and both drinks were delicious. It is a lovely upscale bar/coffee place. It tends to be a younger punk to college crowd. Good service. Good atmosphere. Haven't tried their food, but every drink is good if a little pricey. The outside area is nice for chatting, smoking, and socializing more than inside.

Rating 4.5/5 The fondue is fantastic! Portion sizes will not disappoint and the food prices are reasonable. If you’re there at a busy time you may have to wait a short time to get service. It can also get quite loud. These are minor inconveniences as the food is well worth it. There are also a variety of seating options including couches and tables. If you’re a fan of cheese and drinks, definitely recommend this restaurant.

I’ve always spoken highly of MudLounge, so I was excited to visit again for a bachelorette party. Unfortunately, this visit did not live up to past experiences. Our group of six ordered one fishbowl, but the staff accidentally brought two. We started drinking from both before they came back and took one away—without an apology or even asking if we wanted to keep it. It felt abrupt and unprofessional. Later, one of us accidentally unplugged an outlet near the couches, but we plugged it back in within seconds. Despite this, the waiter immediately cut us off and said we’d only be served water. This was shocking, considering we had been there for less than 10 minutes, and the waitress had barely checked on us. Overall, the lack of professionalism and hospitality made for a disappointing experience. I’ve always enjoyed MudLounge in the past, but after this visit, I won’t be in a hurry to return.

I absolutely love mudlounge & the cocktails they offer. On the downside service its always extremely slow service & not very friendly… I especially get it whenever they are really busy as I am in the service industry myself, but when you sit at a bar for 30 minutes with an empty drink and no one will even look at you.. My friend & I go to mudlounge every Saturday night and the waitress was telling everyone tonight last call at 12:30 and shutting off all the lights when they close at 1:30 and when I asked if they were closing early she said no but they always do last call an hour before close, even though I’ve been there every weekend and it just seemed as they didn’t want stay until close because they weren’t busy… Very upsetting because I do love this place.

Char Steakhouse and Oyster Bar is a two-story kitchen and lounge in Springfield, Missouri, offering a unique blend of Mediterranean cuisine and cocktails. Housed in a New Orleans-style building, the restaurant's selection of oysters provides a taste of the Big Easy. Guests can enjoy raw oysters on the half shell or opt for variations like oysters fresca or oysters Rockefeller on the breezy patio. The menu also features dry- or wet-aged steaks for carnivores.
Editing to respond to the below. I’m somewhat caught off guard by the response to this review as I rated 5 stars and even said it was probably because it’s the largest steak on the menu. We came in town from STL and it was my husband bday. Overall, great experience but we were not told it would take an hour for the steak to cook. If so, I would have certainly got an appetizer as well. Orig review: Our dinner was amazing. The restaurant is beautiful. Our food did take a VERY long time but my husband ordered the largest steak on the menu so maybe it just took long time due to that. My sea bass was so good. Hands down, best fish I ever had. My husband Steak was cooked to perfection. The lobster macaroni is very fulfilling and rich.

My husband planned a date night and wanted to try somewhere “nice and new,” so we went to Char Steakhouse. We were seated right away with our reservation, and I immediately loved the romantic lighting and cozy booth seating. The menu was a bit overwhelming for our taste, but our server, Michael, was great. He could tell we were new and kindly walked us through everything. I skipped wine and ordered the Flirtini, which was strong but tasty. We both ordered filets, an 8oz medium for me and a 14oz bone-in medium for my husband. While waiting, we were served a bread basket which unfortunately was soggy in the middle and seemed underdone. Our entrees came out quickly, but maybe too quickly, since my husband’s steak was nearly rare in the middle. The staff was very apologetic and took it back, but by the time it returned (perfectly cooked the second time), I was nearly finished with my meal. The chef personally brought it out with a fresh side, again very apologetic, though his comment about “those being so thick they take forever to cook” wasn’t exactly what we wanted to hear. Overall, the food was good, but not quite as impressive as we expected for the price point. They did comp our dessert, which was delicious and much appreciated. It was a nice evening, but probably not one we’d rush to repeat. My husband jokes that he still prefers Colton’s. 😉

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Service from Collin at Char Our dining experience at Char was truly elevated by the impeccable service from Collin. From the moment we were seated, he made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Collin went above and beyond—not only recommending outstanding dishes, but first taking the time to ask about our preferences and tastes before offering thoughtful, personalized suggestions. Every recommendation was perfectly suited to our palate and complemented the flow of the meal beautifully. Throughout the evening, Collin balanced attentiveness and discretion with ease. Our glasses were never empty, plates were timed perfectly between courses, and he seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even had to ask. His professionalism, knowledge of the menu, and warm, confident demeanor set the tone for an exceptional fine-dining experience. It’s rare to encounter service that feels both polished and genuinely personal, but Collin delivered exactly that. He is a true credit to Char, and we’ll absolutely be requesting him for every visit!

I recently attended a wedding rehearsal dinner at Char, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. The food was outstanding—each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. From appetizers to the main course, everything was cooked to perfection. The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure that all our needs were met throughout the evening. They helped create a welcoming atmosphere that made the event feel special. The venue itself is charming, with a great ambiance that adds to the overall experience. It was a lovely choice for a rehearsal dinner, providing both comfort and elegance. I would highly recommend Char for any event or just a casual night out. You won’t be disappointed!

Exorbitant but definitely the place to be in Springfield. Service is always amazing. Of the three dozen Blue Points we ordered only a couple had off taste and the rest were outstanding- best you can ask for in Missouri. Drinks are spot on and other dishes were definitely freshly prepared with quality ingredients. Flavor and preparation of salmon wasn’t a favorite but still satisfactory. The atmosphere is so pleasing that I’d say the price tag is worth it. It’s a beautiful place for romance or a special occasion.

Harbell's Grill and Sports Bar, located in a charming century-old brick building, offers a lively taproom atmosphere where patrons can enjoy delicious bar food in a relaxed setting. Since 2011, this vibrant establishment has earned numerous accolades including being named the Best Sports Bar in Town by 417 Magazine and the Best Place to Watch Cardinals Baseball by MSU.
The Hillbilly needed a place to watch the KC Chiefs start the new season. Harbell's was a great place for opening night! As you can see from the pictures, it was packed! Thankfully, a very intelligent young man I know got there early, so my seat was waiting on me when I arrived. Great food, fantastic staff, and absolutely some of the best Cheese Fries I've ever had! If you are in downtown Springfield, give Harbell's a try.

The newest ownership has brought this place closer to the blend of sports bar meets local pub that I loved with the original owners. The food is still good, there's always good music playing and sports on TV. The daily lunch specials are fair. It was disappointing that they didn't have Bud Light on draft for a pitcher, but nowhere is perfect.

We ordered the teriyaki wings and the parmesan wings they were undercooked. We got one of the wings that was still a little bloody, we made the waiter aware. He took them in the back and they refried the wings we had which made the teriyaki wings seem burnt and were not that great for what we paid for and the little bit of mushrooms and quesadilla it was not that worth it. This is the picture after they were refried.

Been coming to this place for a while now and the food and service is always amazing. Bonnie goes above and beyond to make sure I have a good experience here each time I come in. Everyone that works here is super down to earth and set a comfortable, welcoming environment to anyone who comes in.

We got wings because we heard they were awesome. We were disappointed! The wings were just ok. We were early to meet a group of Royals fans and our service was great. But later the owner chewed out one of our organizers, saying they were overwhelmed, even though, they had been contacted a week ahead about how many people to expect. We will not go back!

Cellar + Plate is a communal wine house that takes wine pairings seriously, offering an impressive by-the-glass selection and pairing suggestions for each appetizer and dish. The romesco gouda dip is a luxurious way to start the night, featuring melted Gouda and pimento cheese mixed with romesco sauce served with soft pita and lavash crackers.
The server greeted us with a smile. We had a reservation and the table already had our name card on it and we were seated. The food choices were great and tasted amazing. The food portions were perfect For the shareables we had. Prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was very warm and cozy on such a cold night. . The server was attentive and kind. 10/10 recommend!

Stopped in here for the first time yesterday evening on a date night. Service was excellent. Lighting was perfect. They had a live performer singing and playing the piano who was phenomenal. We ordered the steak medallions to share and they were delicious. We will be back to check out other menu items for sure!

Stopped in last night for a glass of Tempranillo and a slice of Cheesecake w/ blueberries. Excellent atmos. Really amazing abstract art on the walls. Perfectly dimly lit and very cozy. The service was awesome! Sunshine ( the proprietor), and Teo', are both very good hosts. I love supporting local establishments and this is definitely one to imbibe! Bring friends and enjoy Cellar + Plate! 11 stars ✨️

I have been coming to Cellar and Plate since October 2020. I have had the best food and service here over the years. However, tonight we had the worst experience. Our waiter rarely came to us, he tried to pass off Jim Beam for Jameson, then he took so long to refill our drinks we didn’t have drink with our food. The Chicken Alfredo is my absolute favorite at Cellar and Plate. Tonight it was dry and the pasta was hardened. I do not know what is happening…but please make some changes. I absolutely love the atmosphere, and the live music was beautiful. Please fix the service and food soon ❤️ so it can continue to be Springfield’s hidden gem. Because after tonight, I do not think I can convince my family to return.

Really bummed out with our last two visits. We used to love this place over the years but tonight made us realized it’s just not the same anymore. We made reservations so we were quickly seated but it took about 10-15m before a server finally came to ask our order but we didn’t even have menus or water. Unfortunately, that was the way it went all night. Our server was sweet but kept blaming the kitchen and the excessive crowd for the delays but it truly wasn’t a particularly busy night by any means. We ordered apps as Roasted Brussel Sprouts and the Baked Brie and two sliders. It took about 40 minutes for the brussel sprouts to arrive but they were room temp as if they had been sitting out waiting and then the two sliders arrived 15 minutes later in the same condition. Both felt like warmed up leftovers. We finally asked about the Brie and was told it would be ready soon and our server should have told us it takes the longest to make. It did arrive just as we asked to check on it and came out with nuts (we had noted no nuts due to an allergy). We had to just cancel it and get the check. Deeply disappointed in how it’s changed from a couple years ago in quality and service. But the atmosphere is still very fun though

I'm winding down the clock on my dining out days. I find I require far less food than I used too. I no longer drink, and that alone curbs appetite. I no longer feel the need to socialize, or be seen. Given that information, this was a rare outing and, an unexpectedly memorable one. I NEVER give five star reviews across the board, but Cellar & Plate genuinely earned this one. The menu is an eye candy feast of eclectic options and pairings. The wine list is unrivaled and the non-alcohol selection, while abbreviated, is very well considered. Thanks and kudos to Cellar & Plate for that alone! My wife and I shared two dishes comprised of Asian salmon and risotto, and steak tips and risotto. Additionally we shared an appetizer of ceviche, avocado, and chips. All of the food was meticulously prepared and the presentation was outstanding. My wife had a glass of NA Sauvignon Blanc, and I enjoyed an NA beer. Both were very good and fresh, and it was a pleasure to have these options available. The restaurant featured live entertainment in the form of a delightful and talented crooner named Gary Turner. Mr Turner sang numerous light standards at a perfect volume and he was engaging and extremely professional. But the service, oh the service!! Our waitress, Ellie, was outstanding! Ellie was intelligent, beautiful, poised, and expertly landed the often difficult and delicate balance-ratio of attentiveness and intimacy to allowing us the uninterrupted time required to savor the meal. As perfect as the ambience, food, and entertainment were, Ellie is the real reason we will return. Great job Cellar & Plate.

This is such a delightful little place to sit and drink/eat and have good conversation with friends. Cozy and nicely decorated, they have an eclectic collection of wine and drinks for any mood, and the food has all been delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Service is always top notch.

The food here was great but the service was less than ideal. I went with a group of friends and we were very talked down to by the server (you would of thought we didn’t order a thing). We each spent a good chunk of change and are typically very good tippers but in this instance we were not.

Whiskey Tango is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere paired with exceptional drinks and delectable food. This upscale bar and restaurant boasts an impressive cocktail menu, featuring unique creations like the Tango Margarita, which combines house-infused pineapple and jalapeno tequila with refreshing lime juice. Guests rave about the culinary offerings as well; from perfectly breaded calamari to mouthwatering Argentinian shrimp, every dish seems to impress.
This place never disappoints me. We ordered the butterfly kisses cocktail, the painkiller, the strip steak with fries, crab cakes and the dessert cups and all were fantastic. This was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time, maybe even the best I have had in Springfield. Their drinks are fantastic and they have such a great variety. I’ll be coming back time and time again.

Really a great place to relax and have a social get together. There are plenty of Big Screen TVs to watch sports here too. The customer service was top self. However the food and menu left a lot a lot to be desired. I ordered the Oyster Rockefeller and the oysters were very small and over cooked and had pieces of the shell in almost ever bite (they need to do better job of shucking). The shrimp cocktail was ok... but the cocktail sauce was very average, tasted like it came out of a jar. But overall not a bad place to hang out.
Frederick J — Google review
Updated 12/10/23: Wow, how things have changed in just a month. While the lunch service was still alright, the food and selections just aren't even close to last time. Very disappointed. I overheard that there's been quite a bit of turnover in the staff and that even the normal lunch chef left. I think that would explain it. Original review... Went here based on recommendations from family and friends for lunch. I guess lunch service is new for this place and they have a new chef for it. I'm very glad that I did! The atmosphere is great. It's not a huge place but it's quite interesting and I could see that, with friends in tow, it'd be a fantastic place to party. I can't say anything about their bars because I didn't drink but the lunch food was outstanding. So was the service. Just wonderful. From my pictures, you can see the variety that I had. The soup is a chowder that was just the best. It was off-menu. The server said that the lunch chef will usually do a new type of soup each week so there's no telling what will be available so just ask. I'm very picky about my soups and poultry and I was impressed. The wings were perfect. Just how I like them cooked. I got the Buffalo and the heat was just right. Not terribly spicy ... just enough so that you could get that Buffalo sauce flavor AND the chicken and char. If you are the type that just wants heat, try the next level up. That may be better. I got the chicken Caesar wrap without fries or chips. Very well made. Tasted great although I probably should have had that before the wings. The flavor of the wings overpowered the wrap a bit. Met a couple from St Louis that moved into the area recently and were checking new places out. They seemed to like it, too. The place just seems to invite random people interacting ... even over a quick lunch. That server was great, by the way. I wish they were all like that. So, the takeaway is that my family and friends weren't lying and knew that they had found a new wonderful lunch spot with quick, tasty food and spot on service. This one goes into my top spot of lunch (and dinner/drinks?) spots on the Southside of Springfield MO. gotta get me more of that soup. Ymmm

First, speakeasy vibe was adorable, interior is interesting and SO comfy! However, something other than rap/hip-hop music to go with the vibe. Wait staff was moderately inattentive, and I overheard them explaining that the restaurant was closing in 30 minutes despite listing open till midnight on Friday/Saturday. The oysters were inexpertly shucked and smelly, and we had to ask for tableware including napkins. If the waitress hadn't been so eager to get away from my husband's hot sauce questions, I would have ordered another app. The beef Satay was very good, but we left before ordering entrees. I doubt we will return.

I would have given 5 stars if: Our party called 2 days in advance to reserve a specific table and was told we couldn't until right before the day of. Called at specified time and was told that table had been booked 2 days before... Seemed maybe catered to regulars or employee friends? We went on the weekend and it was a very college age crowd. HOWEVER, the food was great (wish I would've taken pics of everyone's, but I was sitting on the inside), so was our server (I think her name was Amber). Loved the decor. Fun drink menu! I would dine again. There are more things on the menu I would like to try. Their bread is THE best!

Our first time their was tonight and wow. The bread they brought out was good. We ordered an appetizer which was Calamari and it is by far the best in town. Perfectly breaded and delicious. I had the Argentinian Shrimp. Absolutely fantastic. Ridiculously good. I also had a side of asparagus and it was perfect. My wife ordered the shrimp and scallops and swears the scallops are the best in town. Fantastic dinner tonight with excellent service by the girl who had Flirt on her name tag. Can't wait to go back. 5 stars from me definitely.

Friendly and helpful bartender. Nice variety of beer. I love their taster glasses (they do sell them) and that they offer flights of beer. Their porter was my favorite. There was live music (check schedule) and free popcorn.

Would have been 5 stars, the beer is amazing. Probably some of my favorite beer flavors ever. But I am giving 4 stars due to the fact it was crawling with children. I am all for a family friendly environment, but this was a bit out of control. More like a "come on kids mommy and daddy are going to the bar to get drunk" vibe. Parents let toddlers run around inside and out to the smoking area and the patrons smoking were trying to keep cigarette smoke away from them, but toddlers were just wobbling around everyone with the parents not caring. Not a good idea let children run a muck in a bar. I hope things change so I can come back and enjoy a beer without the running and screaming of children.

Not ready for dinner but ready for a beer or two, I stopped at 4 by 4 and found a spot in the second room where I could plug in, sip my beers and write up some Yelp reviews on a Saturday evening. My husband and I put a deposit down for their event space for our wedding reception in September 2024. We happened to learn that they were closing their doors "for the time being" a short period before our wedding and reception from a local news article and story; not from Jennifer, the owner. We scrambled around last minute and found a different place for our reception which should have been our first pick to begin with. It is now April 2025 and my husband and I have made numerous attempts to contact and receive our deposit back from Jennifer and she has yet to do so.

They have the bar decked out for Christmas so my friends and I wanted to check it out. The place is incredibly disorganized. Seating is "first come first served" but there's not even a line for people waiting for a table. We waited for at least 20 min & then someone who had just walked in the door on the opposite side of the bar grabbed a table as someone was getting up. All the staff had seen us waiting & when we asked a worker she just kind of shrugged. We finally sat on the regular side of the bar. Nobody was taking orders. We went up to the bar to order a drink and it took over 15 minutes to get my drink. Some of the worst service I've ever had.

We had the cheese pizza balls and garlic bread for appetizers. I had Micah's chicken which was superb! I don't know how to describe the sauce, but it has the right amount of spice, sweet, and flavor. My husband had the chicken strips and fries. They're hand breaded and well cooked which he loves. Price wise for 2 apps, 2 meals, and drinks it was a very good price point. Definitely worth checking out and we'll be back!

Ate outside on the back patio. Nice and quiet. Full Ride burger was top-notch. Some of the best fries I have had in my life. I'm not much for adding sweetness where it doesn't belong but who knew a dusting of brown sugar on already amazing fries would elevate them to the next level.

Very good beers, especially the brown! Friendly staff. There is a stage for live entertainment but we were there earlier in the day so missed that. I’ve been to several events here: jazz nights, the Girl Scout cookie nights and the Fat Tuesday party and have always had an awesome time. Great place to come on a date night or with a group of friends :) They also partner with Hasbro to test out new games which you can find on a shelf on the wall by the water dispenser!

Beer quality and selection: very good, especially the Poblana Pils. Environment/ambiance: nice place to hang out and jazz night is wonderful. Daily music: 1 out of 5. There is only so much vocal-synthesized female pop I can stand. Other breweries in Springfield have much more listenable music, if you’re in the over-40 crowd.

Delicious beers and a fun food truck helped me enjoy a very pleasant evening in Springfield. I think the only thing that would have made it perfect would have been a power outlet near the table where I could have charged my laptop but that's really a minor thing. Parking was a challenge and I was just about to leave when I spotted the lot across the street that said "Hold Fast Parking." We were this close to abandoning and losing this lovely time. Friendly bartender, comfy space inside with a really fun vibe and yes, two delicious "Power Play Pilsner" beers while I enjoyed an insane hot dog from "Doggy Style." I can see returning here especially now that I know the parking situation!

Excellent place to grab a comfort food-filled lunch. I was extremely impressed with their twist on tomato soup. They add orange, herbs and cream that makes this one stand out among the rest. The classic grilled cheese (with local bacon) was also delightful. Every other bite included a strong herb I couldn't quite put my finger one. Highly recommend this unique place with a variety of grub.

I have done a lot of traveling and eaten a lot of sandwiches on the way. The turkey pesto here is my favorite so far. Seriously, the bread is crusty deliciousness. The coffee is pretty tasty too. I hope this place sticks around; it's a bad A addition to rountree.

New owners, same great atmosphere and employees! Experienced brewers David and John take time to lend advice and help homebrewers troubleshoot beer, wine, and mead projects. If you have time, sample the wide variety of small batch brews on tap, serving flights, and pints! extensive inventory for any zymurgist' needs, and yeast are kept refrigerated.

What a gem! Was flying through SPG and spent a night at a hotel nearby before heading out fishing. Great beer, great vibes, and great people. Closes early on weekends so start your happy hour off here!

We had a great time there. We went there for a corporate team builder and brewed some beer. The beers they had on tap were varied and basically had something for everyone. The staff was super engaging during the process and really educated us on how the beer making process works from recipe to bottling! They also sell everything you need to brew your own beer at home or make your own wine! I highly recommend.
Jonathan L — Google review
Friendly bartender and great selection of beer available on tap! They really know what they are doing! I liked the coconut porter and pepper infused rye. It was rather quiet inside and not your typical lively bar/brew pub. Appears to be the local’s favorite spot for a glass of beer after work. It’s a clean place and so cool that they sell everything you could need to brew your own beer at home. Or they have classes where you can brew your own at their facility. I recommend checking this place out if you are a craft beer fan!

Herc and John are great people. Always helping answer my stupid questions, very little markup over billion dollar online stores. Greatest brew shop in Springfield
Agentbarron — Google review
I visit breweries as a regular way of life. This is one of the many cool things about being a beer blogger- you have not just a personal reason, but also a business excuse to make your way into as many breweries as possible. And when you visit as many breweries as I do, you’re always looking for something unique that makes one brewery stand out from the others. Show Me Brewing is one such brewery. What makes Show Me Brewing so extremely cool is that it is much more than just a place to enjoy a glass of beer. You see, Show Me Brewing is also a homebrew supply shop where homebrewers can get the ingredients and equipment they need for their next batch of homebrew. Better yet, you can even use the equipment at Show Me Brewing to brew your own beer on site, to drink and share with others. They even offer homebrewing advice and guidance so that your beer turns out as excellent as possible. Some may visit Show Me Brewing strictly to pick up a bag of grain, bottle caps, hops, and the like. But it would be too irresistible to not also stop by the bar for a glass of beer. And trust me when I say that they have several excellent beers to try, all of them freshly brewed on site for maximum deliciousness. Show Me Brewing is constantly brewing and serving new suds, and this is yet another reason it stands out in the brewery crowd. There is constantly something new being brewed and served so even if you live in the area, you can visit again and again and always be treated to something new. I can see why local craft beer fans are so hooked on this brewery and I can understand why it was recommended so highly to visit. In today’s crowded brewery market, a brewing operation needs to find ways to stand out in the crowd. Show Me Brewing does exactly that, and its uniqueness and extremely laid-back atmosphere earned it a spot in my Top 5 Brewery Visits of the year, a blog post I write and publish annually. It has so many great things to offer and craft beer fans will love what they see and taste. Make sure to visit when you’re in the Springfield area.

Warm, welcoming, knowledgeable owners, great brew supply store, and the best hidden taproom in town (in my opinion). You won't find crazy combinations or blends, you'll get truly great beer done well. Don't let its small capacity fool you. I would recommend putting this at the top of your brewery priority list for Springfield.

Archie's Lounge is a must-visit spot with a fantastic outdoor area, whether you prefer it covered or uncovered. The bar has a great atmosphere and there's no cover charge. It's perfect for a casual afternoon hangout, offering live sports on TV and friendly service. You can also enjoy the fresh pool tables and cool dart board. Plus, they're making improvements to the ladies' restrooms, which will soon have support bars added. Keep an eye out for their upcoming theme days!
This place will always be my favorite in the 417. Great service, great staff. We have met so many people including the owners it's like family. Great bands, BUT....Music is loud and smoke machines make it smoky. All the doors were open, it was hot inside. I don't want to go to a place and sweat.

I was with a group of guys, and the server ignored me 3 times to talk to them about what they wanted. I am an excellent tipper unless I receive bad service. She would have gotten 35% instead of 22% if she had not ignored me. The band The Dirty Saints were excellent. We come in once a year, and twice, they have been the band that night. Weird coincidence. Lol.

417 Taphouse is a popular pub located downtown, offering classic pub food at affordable prices. The menu includes loaded nachos, crab rangoon, mini corn dogs, toasted raviolis, sandwiches, and burgers. What sets this place apart is the self-serve draft beer wall. The establishment also boasts a well-decorated patio with games and a keg fountain.
417 is a great place to grab a local beer and chill. They have private party rooms and with pinball machines and great atmosphere. A fantastic food menu and it's all great! The crowd is pretty good but not super busy most of the time. A pretty good place to just chill and grab a beer and some food.

Omg! I’m a huge foodie, and very critical of flavor profiles & atmosphere, and this place killed it on both …. so when I say these wings were the best I’ve ever had , I mean I just bit into the perfectly balanced crisp and juicy wings ever! I will be back, and order more so my wife and I don’t fight over them again. Thank you 417 Tap House we will be back 🕺🙏

Not a bad alternative pub restaurant in Downtown Springfield. I had dinner there after work yesterday. I had asked 417 Taphouse on Facebook Messenger if they offer coffee and if they require purchasing alcohol to order food. (Dublin's Pass, Early Bird, and The Pitch are pub restaurants that all offer coffee and do NOT REQUIRE purchasing alcohol.) They said that yes they do offer coffee, and no they do not require purchasing alcohol. BUT--and here's why I give this place a 4-star review, not 5--when I asked Hilary, my server, if they had coffee, she said that they do not. So I almost walked away. BUT Hilary managed to find out they did have coffee after all. They just had a K-cup, and only one kind of creamer. Despite the limitations, though, the coffee made the perfect alternative pub drink. After all, I am a coffee addict, and I don't drink alcohol. I really enjoy drinking coffee at pubs as well as more traditional restaurants. I had two appetizers, their Loaded French Fries and their Waffles, with some coffee. I had already planned to order their fries because I felt that they made good "pub grub". And sure enough, I really loved them, and the waffles. You see, Dublin's Pass used to serve buckets of delectable potato chips and French fries of their own recipe, but not anymore. I really miss that "pub grub," and I wish Dublin's Pass would resume serving them. One last thing, one of several flags hanging from the ceiling is the national flag of the Republic of Ireland. They are famously a European pub country, just like the United Kingdom.

Delightful vene, and a super fun show , awesome theater company doing a lot of really cool things. The rich history makes a show here even more special. Especially enjoyed having leg room so I wasn't cramped during the show. Small and intimate setting. Very fun will definitely be back.

We came to Springfield for a Saturday event and we weren't sure how we were going to spend Saturday evening. We searched around and found tickets to a local showing of The Waitress at Little Theater. I grabbed tickets and we headed out! Once we sat down, I quickly realized why these tickets were still available... it's very hard to see from FF row. I spent the first half of the show leaning every which way around the folks in front of me to see what the actors were up to. Luckily, no one came to sit in the seat next to me or in front of me so I just moved over in the second half and had a better experience, but I unfortunately don't recommend the F row seats. If the people in front of you decide to lean forward (which several of them did for me), they block nearly the entire front half of the stage from view. Other than that, what an incredible little venue. Amazing performers and cozy space! Enjoy this gem Springfield!

We came from Sedalia and seen the play Annie, not only was this play wonderful as a huge fan of the movie(s) I would consider this a masterpiece as the actors were phenomenal, gave it their all, and brought these characters to life as I've never seen before. Coyote's Adobe Café is a Springfield sports-themed cafe that focuses on serving up some of the best wings in the area. With over 25 different sauce combinations to choose from, there's something for everyone when it comes to food at this establishment. The service here is always friendly and accommodating, making it a great spot to stop by for a bite during any game.
This was my first time trying coyotes and I was really excited because everyone speaks so highly of their wings! Well they did not disappoint on how juicy and crispy they were at the same time. The fried pickles had such a great yummy batter to them, although they were very salty. We ordered the raspberry jalapeño-which I was disappointed in, the spicy garlic-which was on point, the lemon pepper- way too much seasoning. I don’t think it’s homemade either. The Thai peanut- definitely a favorite. I’m craving them now eek!! Drink specials were great! Service was great! Atmosphere was great. The best thing was that you can order wings and they come in ALL FLATS! You literally have to pay extra to mix it with drums. Crazy right? I will absolutely be going back very soon. Please go check them out if you haven’t!

This is my favorite place for wings, however the Springfield location is NOT the same quality as the nixa location. I go like once a week and I live in Springfield but started at the nixa location so my expectations are high because the nixa location is amazing. Just in the past month I've went to the Springfield location probably four times and although I love the nixa location the Springfield location when I pick it up doesn't sauce the wings enough and even when I ask for extra sauce they're still not sauced enough there super dry boneless wings. I always order a large order of their fries and their sweet potato fries. At the Springfield location they have been extremely undercooked and soggy the sweet potato fries were not even fully cooked the last time I went. However I absolutely love the nixa location I have never been to the nixa location and had a issue. Their blue cheese is one of the best blue cheeses I've ever had. So if you want to full experience of this place go to the next location. I have a feeling that whoever owns this is at the nixa location more. They probably live in nixa. But I definitely think he should quality check the Springfield location a little bit because I go there all the time because it's closer it is not the same quality as the nixa location. Like I said I go once a week and spend over 100 dollars on there fries and wings. And usually when I'm going to the Springfield location I always wish I would have went to the nixa location. I'm actually on my way to the next location because the last four times I've ordered from the Springfield one they're just not up to par with the nixa.

I stopped in Springfield recently and came by this restaurant. Our server was Ami and she was so nice the whole interaction. She shared how she was new to town and gave us some great recommendations on the menu and things to do around Springfield as I was passing through. The food was great and I highly recommend stopping in for a bite!

Service was amazing. I was a little skeptical of bar food at first, but it was also delicious. Usually not a big chicken wing fan, but the double fried, boneless wings were delicious. The prime rib sandwich was also delicious. I'd definitely go back if ever in this area again & would recommend stopping in and giving this place a try. Great food & great service are hard to get these days, but this place has both.

First time here. Hopefully, we will have "Ami" (spelling?) as our waitress again. She was pleasant and attentive. The wings were delicious especially the Rooster flavor. The chicken nachos were perfect to share for the table and the onion rings and the Tex Mex Egg rolls hit the spot! We'll be back!

All of the times we’ve had brunch at this location in the past was tremendous however, today we ordered what the menu said was prime rib and eggs but what was served was nowhere near prime rib. The thinnest and saltiest cut piece of beef I’ve ever had my whole entire life for $20.00 a plate A restaurant should never have served whatever that was and called it prime rib in their life.

The space is set-up a bit oddly making it hard to have intimate conversation. The prices are at the higher end of moderate but the selection is great. The pool table is set up in a cold corner that's too small to play comfortably. The doorman was very friendly and we stayed longer because of how welcoming he was when we arrived.

Service is always friendly. Food is usually good. My husband really likes the pizza and gyro, I like the Ruben and fish and chips. We really like the beer cheese fondue and pretzels. They only thing we've tried that we didn't care for was the tri tip sandwich, the meat was tough. The house chips are awesome when they aren't overcooked, which is about half the time. People sit out front and smoke, so you usually have to walk through lots of smoke to enter and when it's busy the smoke makes its way inside.

Huge beer selection, all local to Springfield, or at the least, Missouri. Great happy hour specials, $2 off domestic drafts and discounts on appetizers (can't remember the exact amount). We got the cheese dip with waffles fries and I'd go back just for that. The only issue was our food took around 25-30 minutes to get to us, but I'm pretty sure it's because we were dining while it was slow in the restaurant. We were there at around 1-2 pm. Overall, we'll most likely return, hoping that the food gets delivered a little faster.
