Filipino restaurant
Toyo Eatery is a renowned Filipino restaurant known for its innovative take on traditional Filipino cuisine. Despite the challenges, Toyo Eatery and its sister bakeshop, Panaderya Toyo, have continued to impress with whimsical bilao sets featuring barbecue skewers and signature silog fried rice. Chef Jordy Navarra's creativity has once again captured the attention of food enthusiasts as he prepares to host the Philippine leg of the global food event Gelinaz!
We had an excellent meal at Toyo Eatery. I booked exactly when dinner spots opened up 3 weeks in advance. The 22 dishes over 8 courses came out at an excellent pace and our dinner was over in a little over 2 hours. Most of the dishes were excellent and there were many more hits than misses. For example, the lumpia starter with 18 vegetables was wonderful, the blue crab was great, the mains were a very interesting take on familiar dishes. But, the okra soup was a little lacking. Service was informal but personable. The look of the restaurant was modern and has a lovely open kitchen. However, the music was a little loud at times. I really hope this restaurant gets recognition when the Michelin Guide comes to the Philippines next year. It is definitely on par, if not better than some one-starred restaurants we've tried.

People have been saying it’s the best tasting menu they’ve tried. Maybe the menu has changed but I was not at all impressed with the food. It felt like they were trying too hard to elevate the food—pushing for something highfalutin and refined, but in the end, it just muddled the actual flavors. The ambition was there, but the execution failed. The okra saluyot soup was slimey (ofc, given that it’s okra) so it didn’t land well as a good dish. The grilled oyster mushrooms over kamias sauce and soy milk pudding’s flavors didn’t marry well, either. The palette cleanser of lemongrass kefir tea just tasted nasty. The main dish of free range chicken was plain, the fried fish scales dish was not my type and the flavor of the rice clashed with the main dish flavors. However, the dish with the fried shallots was good! Just wished they served white rice with it. It would’ve hit the spot. The halabos was my favorite, it was cooked to perfection. Literally the plainest dish but the most well done. Some of desserts were good too, like the leche flan ice cream and tsokolate bonbons with patis filling (although there was too much caramel, came out too sweet). The sorbete with idk, seaweed on top (?) was just weird. The flavor was disjointed and I think they were trying to go for some toasted rice thing but it felt like multiple random ingredients in the cup. Overall, the food wasn’t great. Sad cause I’ve been wanting to eat here for about 4 years now and I finally have, and I’ve been disappointed. Never meet your heroes, they say.

Dining at Toyo Eatery is unlike anything else in Manila — it’s a culinary journey that honors Filipino ingredients while presenting them in ways that feel both familiar and surprising. The tasting menu we enjoyed opened with comforting flavors like Gulay at Sabaw and the briny freshness of Halaan. The progression through courses felt like chapters of a story: playful vegetable combinations such as Saluyot, Okra, Labanos at Pipino and Kabute, Kamatis, Kamias, Mangga, Soy Beans showed just how creative local produce can be. The seafood dishes were true standouts — Mga Kilaw offered brightness and acidity, while Alimasag, Gata, Palapa was rich, complex, and deeply satisfying. Even the more traditional touches, like Silog sa Palayok and chicken with cassia leaf and paminta, carried a thoughtful balance of nostalgia and innovation. Each course came with a careful explanation from the staff, which made the entire meal feel like an exploration of culture as much as cuisine. Desserts were equally memorable: the Leche Flan Ice Cream with Asin Tibuok struck the perfect contrast of creamy and salty, while Cassava at Tsokolate ended the night with a comforting, indulgent note. The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the pacing of the courses gave space to truly savor each dish. Yes, it’s a splurge, but Toyo Eatery more than earns its reputation as one of Asia’s best restaurants. If you’re looking for a world-class dining experience that tells a uniquely Filipino story, this is the place to go!

Finally made it to Toyo, a place I’ve had on my list for years. What I love most is how unpretentious it is; there’s no need to “elevate” Filipino food here. Instead, they build their own language around it. Every dish feels rooted in the land and the people behind it: the farmers, the producers, the makers. It’s thoughtful, confident, and deeply Filipino in a way that doesn’t have to prove anything. Shoutout to the chefs and our server Tupi/Christopher who was highly knowledgeable about every single dish and ingredient.

It's undeniable that Toyo's food is good but I want to emphasize the dining experience and service was memorable and familiar. Been to Toyo Eatery twice on both for anniversary celebration dinner and they have been consistent in showcasing Filipino food and ingredients on the menu. And as a casual diner/foodie, you won't be intimidated with their style of fine dining as the staff and chefs wore comfy outfits (even wearing crocs!). The whole vibes was homey and have a similar feeling of how you would when you go to a Filipino fiesta. They play pinoy RNB and often offer you to drink a shot of lambanog!. And as of this writing, Toyo Eatery already received their Michelin Star and wanted to congratulate them for always pushing a Filipino forward approach on food! Mabuhay Barangay Toyo Eatery! P.S. Posting mostly non-food photos as you can almost see them on all reviews and I wanted to highlight the beautiful people of Toyo Eatery

To me, Toyo Eatery is the pinnacle of Filipino food innovation. They just know how to refine the flavors we know and love, without losing that comforting homeyness that makes them recognizably Filipino. We had an amazing meal here--pretty much everything is delicious, with a few being mind-blowing standouts. Our favorites included the halaan in cream sauce with powdered malunggay, hipon 2 ways (halabos and battered), the kilaw 3 ways, the crab in gata with palapa (can't get over how delicious this was), the insanely crispy bisugo and a wildly inventive take on palitaw using purple heirloom rice. Our server Miguel was so pleasant--his service was warm, natural and personal. He not only gave us 3 rounds of lambanog shots, but also an all-access tour of the compound. We ended up chatting about the fine dining scene in the PH, and how Toyo was our clear favorite. That was such a great way to end what was already an incredible night. And oh--they give you a small bottle of that excellent lambanog after you bill out. Nice! Excited to make cocktails with it, as its very smooth--almost like a good vodka, but with that subtle coconut-iness. My only wish? That we could also buy some of their aged suka--that stuff is superb. Almost magical. So yeah, Toyo absolutely deserves their Michelin star. But even if they hadn't gotten one, we would still go back and recommend it to everyone. They're not conforming to global expectations of culinary excellence--instead, they're applying world-class techniques to our rich culinary tapestry and refining the flavors we already love. The result--food that's simultaneously polished, yet comforting. It's a tricky balance to pull off, but they make it look so effortless. I can't wait for my next visit--I'm sure they'll surprise me with their creativity and execution again. :)

At Toyo Eatery in Makati, the dining experience felt both groundbreaking and deeply rooted in Filipino tradition. Chef Jordy Navarra’s inventive re-imagining of local ingredients—like the lush “bahay kubo” garden vegetables dish inspired by the folk song, and an elegant take on kinilaw—showcase technical finesse and cultural pride. The ambiance is sleek and modern yet relaxed, allowing the dishes to shine and the service to feel personal without formality. Overall, Toyo Eatery stands out as a must-visit for anyone keen to explore elevated Filipino cuisine that’s as thoughtful as it is delicious.

Having tried Toyo twice when they had collabs in Singapore, trying it in the Philippines feels like a proper welcome home. We even brought our niece (Yeppeo the Alaskan malamute) with us who enjoyed the biggest welcome. But anyway, about the food. Starters are always my favourite from them, a stream of creativity flowing. Ingredients authentic to their roots, but with a twist. With every dish coming out, an inspiration here, an umami there. Personal favourite is the dish resembling a lumpiang sariwa. This tasted like earth - in the best possible way I swear. Nutty, crunchy, layers of flavour - bomb. Another highlight is the fried prawn. In itself, it's the perfectly seasoned, and to dip it in vinegar pushed it higher. Let's not forget the skewers, tender and charred to perfection. Only thing that didn't work for me is the okra, I get the whole embracing the sliminess intent, but it's just off-putting. By the time the mains arrived, I'll be honest, already slowing down, tummy approaching capacity. But that didn't stop me from enjoying the spread. My favourite is the rice pot, such a humble component, amazing when done right. Went really well with the proteins, especially the fried fish, which was fried to perfection. Dessert proved to be a beast of its own. We had not one, not two, but six plates of desserts! Enjoyed the leche flan topped with asin tibuok, the sweet and salty combination is just perfection when done right. But my favourite is the ube, this haunts me. Somehow they got the right sweetness level with the meringue, the right consistency, the right texture - bottle this up and I will be stocking up! Impeccable service - to both humans and our not-so-little furry dog. She brought her own food but the team has a food bowl ready (complete with Toyo logo). At some point, I stood up, placed my napkin on the chair, someone immediately picked it up, folded it and placed it on the side of my plate - a level of attention you would see in Michelin-starred restaurants. And oh, the complimentary bicho-bicho that they gave for takeaway, delicious! Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our meal there. Such a good representation of modern Filipino cuisines and a wonderful gastronomic journey.

Thai restaurant
People's Palace offers a modern take on Thai cuisine in Makati, serving expertly prepared dishes with fresh ingredients and organic vegetables. The restaurant is known for its stunning surroundings, excellent service, and consistently delicious Thai fare. One of their standout dishes is the yam som o, or pomelo salad, featuring juicy citrus wedges paired with prawns, shredded chicken, fresh herbs, and a lime-coconut dressing.
This Thai restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The fish cakes were tender and flavorful, paired perfectly with a special dipping sauce. The fried fish pieces were served with a sweet and sour sauce that was appetizing and not greasy. The spring rolls were crispy and went really well with the Thai-style dipping sauce. What impressed me the most was their Thai pomelo salad – refreshingly light and a perfect balance of flavors. Overall, the food was authentic, and the service was attentive. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Thai cuisine!

I thought it was going to be more expensive hahaha I was satisfied with the food really. Peoples Palace probably started my journey through Thai food in Manila. It would be a five if it was cheaper because it didn’t seem like it had anything fancier except that the food tasted good for me. A 5/5 would be - also a wow factor for the price 😹 Nothing spectacular with the service so just a good old “3”
Ruby C — Google review
One of the most authentic Thai restaurant I've tried. The bagoong rice is so good, a complete meal in itself with meat, mangoes, cucumber, onions and chilies. The squid dish is also yummy, cooked just right. Not a fan of the curry but I heard it tasted good as well. The pad thai, hmmm... although it has that authentic thai taste, it still doesn't remind me of the ones served in Thailand but still a must try if you visit their restaurant. Overall, a good visit, the ambiance in the restaurant is cozy, a little of the fine dining feels but not over the top that you feel you need to dress up to eat here. The staff are very attentive so another plus on my book. Will definitely visit again!
Lynette — Google review
630peso. The cost-performance wasn’t great. The waiter could have asked if we preferred all fried noodles or a half-and-half option with both boiled and fried noodles—this would have let us choose our preference in advance.. Also, it seemed like they assumed they were entitled to a tip, as they didn’t bring our change or the receipt... At this level of service, we could easily find better restaurants nearby—even without going to Greenbelt.
Es E — Google review
So far, the best Thai restaurant I’ve tried. Every dish bursts with refreshing and explosive flavors—authentic yet elevated. The service is superb, with staff who are attentive and warm without being overbearing. Whether it’s your first time or your tenth, each visit feels like a culinary escape to Bangkok. Highly recommended.
Andrew Q — Google review
This is unworthy , over rated, bad service , simply cook food , not up to Michelin standard, not tasty at all. I order tom yum gong prawn , only got 3 prawn, some coriander and some tomato only . Not even a piece of vegetable , soup is so mild , no taste , super salty . Most important is a Michelin restaurant no serve tissue , no welcome you , no say thank you after meal , and no one serve your out after you done your meal. Typically my tom yum gong come out after 5minutes ordered , this is a fast food store like Mix rice store . Won’t come back anymore
Danelle L — Google review
This restaurant is very popular—especially on weekends during lunch and probably also dinner—so it’s hard to get a table unless you arrive early or make a reservation. The food is truly authentic Thai, and you can ask for your preferred spice level, including Thai-level spiciness. If you do, the flavors genuinely bring back memories of real Thai cuisine. We tried the Tom Kha Gai (spicy coconut soup with shrimp), which was wonderfully aromatic, and the larb made with minced pork, seasoned perfectly with herbs. We asked for it spicy, and it really delivered—the heat was exactly how it should be. For dessert, we had the fried bananas with coconut ice cream—pure ambrosia. The only surprise was the price: the dessert cost as much as a full-sized main dish. We also ordered a double espresso to go with dessert, and it was very good, though the cups were quite thick. I think it would have tasted even better served in more delicate porcelain. The service was impressively efficient—something you don’t often find in Manila. The only downside is that the tables are placed very close to each other. Since the restaurant is rather small, it's always quite noisy, which slightly detracts from the overall dining experience.

Met up with childhood friends From the get go their drinks are just so well thought off. Fresh fruit drinks. Food is always fresh and very scrumptious. We ate a lot of food, crispy squid, pad thai Beautiful ambience to celebrate. Good food, good company...let's celebrate friendships💜

Restaurant
Blackbird Makati is an elegant art deco restaurant located in the former Nielsons Tower in Makati. The restaurant offers a sophisticated dining experience with its stylish interior featuring French windows, wrought iron-black and white colors, and Prussian blue chairs. It is a popular spot for romantic dates, anniversary dinners, family celebrations, and special occasions.
I had an incredible dining experience! The beetroot salad was amazing—fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. The beef short ribs were unbelievably tender and delicious. Every dish, from the crispy squash flowers to the tenderloin and steak frites, was top-notch. The service was excellent—attentive and friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back again for sure!
Saeed A — Google review
We went here for a special occasion and here’s our experience. The ambiance at this restaurant is one of its strongest points, dim lighting and cozy atmosphere, it sets the perfect mood for a romantic dinner date or a quiet evening out. Plus, the place is easy to reach, just in front of peninsula. The dining tables are placed quite close to one another, making the space feel a bit cramped, not ideal if you're looking for a more private or relaxed dining experience. As for the food, the experience was mixed. The appetizers - lamb kofta and mushroom with panini were divine. Unfortunately, the mains - SR wagyu steak and pork chop didn’t follow through. Both meat dishes we tried were tough, lacked the tenderness you’d expect as well as its seasoning given their price point. But, the sides: fries and mashed potatoes were well seasoned. We raised it to their staff and they shared with us that they will work it out with their supplier. Overall the quality of the 2 main dish didn’t compensate its price. The restaurant has its own parking, probably can fit around 6-8 cars. Paid parking is also available just beside the restaurant. The restroom is spacious, has high ceiling, mirrored walls which gave a clean and modern feel.

First time trying this fine dining restaurant and its class is worthwhile. Had the reservation done 2 weeks beforehand and went there on the date. The service was very good and the food was great! Adding their menu as of September 2025. Thank you for the great experience!
Mirza A — Google review
I’ve probably dined at this restaurant more than six times now, and each visit has left me hoping for better—but sadly, the food just isn’t improving. During my most recent visit, I ordered their bestselling and popular dishes: steak, salmon, and most of their appetizers. Unfortunately, none of them felt worth the price tag. The steak was chewy, the fries weren’t good, and the salmon had a noticeable fishy taste. Im also quite disappointed that they don’t even have a complimentary dessert for celebrations. I was hoping for a redemption at the end of my meal, but it was just loads of ice cream, caramel sauce, and popcorn. I really wanted to like their food because their ambiance is worth coming back to. It is absolutely beautiful, elegant, and sophisticated, and I wouldve loved to go here more often. But the food just doesn’t deliver, and I dont understand why. This is a popular place where notable people usually go. You’d expect that they’d have elevated their food by now.

We had a fantastic time at Blackbird in Makati! The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, and the service was excellent—attentive without being intrusive. The tuna and seabass were absolutely delicious—fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The burger was also outstanding, juicy and well-seasoned. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Overall, a great place for a nice meal in the heart of Manila. Highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates great food and top-notch service!

The I Love Aussie Lamb Caravan’s 3rd stop at Blackbird at the Nielson Tower was such a memorable dining experience. I loved how Australian lamb was elevated into dishes that beautifully balance classic and modern flavors every bite felt both comforting and exciting. 🐑✨ 🍽️ Highlight Menu: • Lamb Koftas with Roast Pepper, Walnut and Pomegranate Molasses • Mussaman Lamb Shank with Pineapple Cucumber Relish and Jasmine Rice Both dishes were packed with flavor, and you could really taste the premium quality of the lamb. Truly a feast worth remembering! 👌🏻

My first time here at Blackbird at the Nielson Tower to try their Aussie Lamb dishes: Lamb Koftas—with Roast Pepper, Walnut and Pomegranate Mollases and their Mussaman Lamb Shank—with Pineapple Cucumber Relish and Jasmine Rice. Food is great and serving is fast! Love their historic approach as this fine dining restaurant used to be a local airport passenger terminal in the 30s. Staff were all nice and approachable. Plus, their modern interior is superb!

Always Fun The Big 3: Food: always consistently tasty, though they have NO bread for the soup (can you imagine?); drinks orders came with food which made our "round of drinks" a loss; menu needs more vegetarian options (even the side dishes come with shrimp paste or pork sauce); pizza was wonderful and others loved their steak and pasta; lamb pasta was overcooked and not al dente; stuffed zucchini flowers could not be done without the bacon; incredible desserts of HaloHalo Eton Mess Pavlova Mess and also the Baked Alaska (unfortunately not flamed at the table) Service: spotty; Miguel introduce himself as our server and never came again; Herminio was at the bar (who's the BEST) but went on break when we finally got to order our "round of drinks"; lots of lag between courses and even between those served for the same course; we were constantly raising our hands for service though the outside tables area for the pouring rain was hardly occupied Ambience: nonstop outside rain when we were told (with 3 days advance ressie) that there was no space inside but from start to finish and even when we left after 9PM there were still ample empty dead tables inside yet they made us sit out in the rain for our 7 top table. Shame! No music at all; lovely flowers but they're plastic Special Shout Out to Herminio who is the reason to come here: he should manage the place and it would definitely return to its former days of well-run timed service.

Ramen restaurant
Authentic Japanese restaurant
Restaurant
Mendokoro Ramenba Makati is a compact Japanese ramen restaurant known for its slurp-tastic fare and sleek horseshoe-shaped bar. The place is always packed, but the flavorful and generous portions of their creamy and meaty broth make the long lines worth it. Their menu may be short, but you can ask for a secret menu to try out more options like the Super Chashu.
Been looking for an Ichiran like ramen here in PH and well.. it might not tastes like Ichiran but Mendokoro's Shoyu Ramen tastes sooo good! The broth is rich and thick - love it. The ambiance is also nice, its clean and the staff are friendly and knowledgable about their food. Will dine in again. 🫶🏻
The N — Google review
I'm thoroughly impressed with the food at Mendokoro Ramenba Makati - the ramen is absolutely delicious, with a rich and flavorful soup that's perfectly balanced. The noodles are also cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of firmness. The service is speedy and attentive, with our orders arriving promptly. However, the atmosphere is a bit lacking - we were seated at a table near the kitchen, which made the space feel quite cramped. Additionally, the aesthetic design of the restaurant is somewhat minimal, which detracts from the overall ambiance. Despite this, the exceptional food makes it a worthwhile visit.
Chael G — Google review
I lived in Japan 6 years and when I tell you this place feels like you're eating authentic ramen you should believe me. Amazing. We ordered shoyu ramen with pork and a 5 piece gyoza.
Scotty P — Google review
Shoyo was their best seller but it was okay for me. Miso, however, is so good! Tantanmen was good as well. Gyoza was good with a right amount of crisp. Wish they could sell 8-10pcs especially for a group order. 10-15 min wait.
Nao — Google review
Ten ten ramen was excellent. Service was quick. Place was not exactly elegant but that was expected. I just didn't like the lack of elbow room.

The concept of the restaurant is very cool you basically sit around the kitchen area and you can see the chefs preparing food. The personnel is kind and the ramen is amazing! Seriously it was one of the best bowls of ramen I have ever had. It was a bit on the expensive side but it's worth it. You can even take a box to make the ramen at home. If you like ramen and you are near Makati this is the place to go to.

So much hype behind this, and you know what, I get it. Tried both shio and shoyu. They both had the signature delicious rich broth, but preferred the shoyu because of that added layer of umami. The meat is oh so tender with a nice char. I honestly get the popularity and totally buying into it. Meanwhile, I don't know what's in that gyoza, but it's absolutely delicious. This is now my favourite ramen place in the Philippines.

It has easily been the best ramen I have eaten so far in all of South east Asia. The taste is perfect and all ingredients are fresh and delightful. It is already my second time here. So highly recommended.

Spanish restaurant
Alba Restaurante Español, a 67-year-old Spanish establishment, offers an extensive selection of paella dishes. With 15 varieties available, patrons are spoiled for choice. Alongside the classic Paella Valenciana and Paella Negra, Alba also serves unique options such as the Paella de Cangrejos with crabmeat, Paella Verde with green vegetables, and Paella Filipino with sisig and cochinillo.
My fiance and I dined at Alba on a Saturday night as recommended by our foodie friends to be one of the best Spanish restaurants since they were young! We got the croquetas de jamon, white wine sangria and the mango with ham and arugula. Love love love the balance! We also really loved the service -- the staff were really attentive and had a smile on their faces! We will definitely be coming back!

Definitely a 5 Star Spanish restaurant experience. The food was excellent and definitely authentic Spanish. This has always been the restaurant we’ve been going to whenever we’re celebrating something special. Been coming here for years and it only gets better as it ages. Another reason to go back, hearing the incredible musicians. The three gentlemen serenaded us with their beautiful voices and music-playing. Shout out to Sir Jeff and the other waiters for their amazing service. Overall a wonderful experience!

Took my family here for a quick lunch. We enjoyed everything that we have ordered. Especially the lengua. It was really tender and flavorful. The paellas were really great also. Thank you for the great experience.

Alba's feels like seeing an old friend. The people are familiar, you know it like the back of your hand it feels like a welcoming place. It's no wonder why so many Japanese nationals love this place. The service is impeccable, the food is reasonably priced given its quality and it's a clean well-lighted place.

RE-VISIT - REVIEW UPDATE Disappointed this time as alcachofas had lots of tough outer skin which should be removed first so you don't need to remove from your mouth and put on the plate. Manager kindly Brought a second plate which was better but still 10 % very tough outers. Probably they get from a jar but should remove this - not good chef skills to serve artichokes that are chewy 🤷🏻‍♂️ they should know this Paella was mediocre. Should have a burnt base - the MOST important and tasty part - it's called the 'socarrat' in Spain. This had none Overall a tasty vegetable paella but too greasy and oily by far - and no essential socarrat, so not a proper paella Service still good, but food not inspiring - afraid as basic cheffing skills are missing. Manager was engaging afterwards and took onboard my comments. Hope they make some improvements 👍🏻 ----------------------------- ORIGINAL VISIT REVIEW Excellent service and nice food (just a little over-salted - chef a regular smoker maybe? That's the usual reason) Nice atmosphere with live band I enjoyed it and would recommend

I've been eating at Alba in Makati for over 40 years. I just arrived from Japan today and had a great lunch there. The menu has changed a little but the gist of the good stuff is available. The house wine is good and try the fabada if nothing else. It is to die for.

Went there for my birthday. Love the ambience, service and most of all the food! Will come back for sure 💖

Had an amazing time here. It was my first time seeing my family again after being abroad, and we enjoyed the food so much. Alba has amazing paellas, and their tapas are definitely a win. Some of our faves are the gambas, chorizo frito, Paella Negra, and Valenciana. The portions are generous and the taste is top-notch. Not to mention, the place is super clean, and the staff are very attentive and thoughtful. Thank you — we’ll definitely be back soon!

Pizza restaurant
Located in The Social food park in Poblacion, Makati, Crosta Pizzeria is known for its sourdough pizzas with an airy and chewy crust. The menu features creatively named pizzas like the Basic Bitch and Tickle Pickle, as well as a range of vegan options such as the Death by Hummucide and Vegan Shroomed Out.
Now, you’re wondering why they’re all queuing up? I was too… until I decided to park and line up when the lines were just short on a Saturday afternoon. Love the Crosta pizza but did not eat the pork just the one with the beef order. Super super nice and deserving of all praises. Bit pricey… yes … but all worth it.
Joanna G — Google review
July 2025 Local pizzeria that's gaining a lot of attention in the IG / tiktok sphere. Physically a counter style stall in the middle of busy Salcedo Village area. Pizza 🍕 has a light crust bordering sour dough consistency. Flavorful and well thought off ingredients and condiments. No frills eats and has a high price tag. Service is pretty problematic as they have no system to handle queues properly. The counter staff seems to be multitasking with the kitchen which is semi open. The kitchen looks a bit too casual with workers having a lax attitude. Saw one holding a plate of his lunch while walking around the kitchen. None of the staff were wearing face masks. All in all, that was probably why an order of one pizza took almost 45 minutes to be served. Even the security guard seemed to be helping out with the gig delivery drivers' orders. 🤪🤪🤪 The place is very informal much like a counter diner style. No frills just an aquarium like bar stool setup. Don't expect comfortable seating as it is a simple pizza joint. No toilet. Ideal for takeaways and dates only as turnover is fast.

TLDR: Great food, not so great spot. Food: ordered 3 kinds of pizza from their best seller sellections (forgot to take a pic of the last one). 10/10 will definitely eat again. Portions were okay for the price (might be expensive for some considering the serving size was not that big for the price you're paying). Place: The place was too cramped, and was hot. Idk if they even had air conditioning, the last pizza I ordered was for take out and we ended up waiting outside the place because people were showing up making yhe place cramped and hot. Accessibility: there are a lot of parking spaces around the area, but no official parking for crosta. Tips. If you plan on visiting this branch, better to visit at odd hours so you can have a better experience. Know that this is a popular place so expect that some pizzas will be sold out if you visit near closing hours. - visit 3 hrs before closing time to make sure that everything on the menu is available. Also bring a mini fan to avoid getting hot.
Bergs G — Google review
My friends and I tried their pizza and had it dine in. Location wise, it is easy to find along leviste street. We went on a Friday late afternoon so people were lined up already tho service was fast especially for takeouts. Lot of staff were working that day so both customer are and counter area seemed crowded. The pizza was great, not sure if they had thin crust option as I came when my friend ordered already. The regular ones had thick crust but since we shared already it was just enough for us 3. Would love to try other flavors soon. Hope they had bigger space tho.

Crosta lives up to the buzz 🫡. You get what you pay for, quality is above all the usuals. For a good baseline the round Pepperoni, Pepperonley 2.0 is solid. Delicious and one of my favorite slices of actual pepperoni on a pizza, deliciously oily as it should be. And the base sauce had a depth and balance that stood up well to the cheese and savory meat. Then if wanting to try something different, the Morty & Ella is an absolute hit. First time trying the combo of mortadella, bechamel, and pistachio on pizza, but its gonna be hard not ordering this every next visit to Crosta. If you're up for good pizza don't miss out! But best to go off hours and on weekdays + eat it there while its hot!
Christian V — Google review
Ordered the Truffle and Pepperoni pizzas from Crosta…..wow. Absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, the crust was perfect, and every bite was satisfying. The place itself is small but very hip really nice vibes overall. Yes, it’s on the expensive side, but definitely worth it for the quality. Will be coming back for more!
Archimedes — Google review
Crosta Pizzeria in Makati is an absolute must-try, especially if you’re a fan of Detroit-style pizza. Those thick, crispy-edged, cheesy-heaven squares are unreal — the kind of slices that make you question every life decision that didn’t involve eating here sooner. The crust is perfectly airy, the toppings are loaded with flavor, and every bite feels like a warm, cheesy hug from the pizza gods. The vibe is cool, the staff is friendly, and the food comes out fast — which is great, because once you smell that Detroit magic baking, patience becomes impossible. Honestly, Crosta didn’t just raise the bar… they raised the crust. 🍕😄 If you’re anywhere near Makati, do yourself a favor and grab a slice (or five). This place is Detroit-style done right.

Cafe Adriatico, located in Manila, was once a humble eatery for taxi drivers but has since become an iconic cafe. The owner transformed it into a welcoming space for everyone. It's situated on one of the busiest streets in the capital, making it perfect for people watching while enjoying local favorites like pancit palabok, suman sa lihiya, and ensaymada with tsokolate eh.
We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions here! What we ordered: ✅ Farmer's Breakfast (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) – A delicious balance of sweet and sour flavors from the pork and egg, perfectly paired with garlic fried rice. ✅ Landlord's Breakfast (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) – The smoky, flavorful sirloin, textured sausage, and well-cooked scrambled egg all come together beautifully with garlic fried rice. The rice itself is decent but feels a bit average compared to the high-quality main components. The fresh, sweet mango adds a refreshing touch to the meal! Each dish comes with a complimentary black coffee + milk and a glass of cold water—such a great bonus! The staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, explaining the menu in detail and even advising us not to order extra drinks since we already got free ones. Though the space isn't too large, it's still cozy. We were lucky to get a seat by the window, offering a great view of Adriatico Street, adding to the authentic Manila experience. Highly recommended if you're visiting the Philippines and will spend some time in Manila!

We always come back to Cafe Adriatico to enjoy their food. There is always an endless choice from their excellent selections. This is in addition to the favorite orders we never tire of, especially their exceptional desserts. Once the staff gets familiar with you, you are always expertly taken very good care of. I highly recommend CA anytime!

I went here because of Andrew E’s classic hit pop song Banyo Queen. I was supposed to order beer for the vibe, but found out brewed coffee is complimentary, so i went for the caffeinated beverage instead. Ordered the farmer’s breakfast but the leafy salad wasn’t served. At first glance the turon looked like a savory lumpiang toge. I prefer my tocino be somewhat overcooked. They served it “wet”. Still tasty, though. Restroom is on the 2nd floor.

The most satisfying meal in the Philippines in my view. Ordered the pork knuckle and pork belly and although you really can get by with just one pork dish, they were just so damn GOOD!!!!! I felt like I needed to have a nap after 😂 Can't recommend enough

This branch retained the old charm. It’s still the old cafe adriatico we have known for ages. For merienda we ordered hummus with pita bread the serving is generous and taste is good. Baby squid pasta lacks rich taste and serving size is just ok. Special bibingka is a thumbs up however it was a bit small for the price. For dessert we ordered halo-halo and buko pandan. Both of them tastes just average. Street Parking can be limited. Service is still a thumbs up

Our first time visiting Philippines and our first meal on Filipino food, it was extraordinary and impressive! This restaurant was recommended by travelers on YouTube so I’ve decided to try since we stayed nearby. The first impression upon entering this restaurant was like stepping back in time, the menu has a wide selection of food and was well presented. The staff recommended Lola Ising’s adobo rice which was pork belly cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside with meat falling apart on the inside, the accompaniment grilled garlic and pickles elevated the whole dish, i totally enjoyed it. My partner had the Beef Stroganoff served with pilaf rice which was another winner. The rice had a pleasant fragrance and was cooked to excellent texture. Would definitely return if around this area.

Nostalgic!!! We frequent this resto and a family fsvorite in the 90's, havent visited the resto for like 20 years or more. I must say this resto lived up to its name with time! A must dine once in a lifetime. Food, service, ambiance is what it used to be, perfect for intimate dates or simply a dine out with family. Youll never go wrong with any food you order. Price of food, quality and serving size are all spot on. Its really where quality meets quantity. Not to mention their superb service! Will definitely have more of my nostalgia!

Restaurant
The Aristocrat Restaurant is a beloved dining establishment known for its Filipino-style barbecue chicken and rich history. Since the 1930s, it has been a cherished fine-dining venue in Manila, offering iconic dishes such as adobo flying saucer, lumpiang ubod sariwa, puto at dinuguan, Aristocrat pancit canton, and arroz con caldo with beef tripe. Originally located in Malate, it has expanded to multiple cities nearby.
The restaurant is so cozy. This is what Filipino food is like. So delicious. The smell as soon as you enter the restaurant. Totally amazing. Everyone is so nice and kind. I like the vibe and atmosphere. Also I have not seen any foreigner. So bad you miss great native Filipino cuisine. I really enjoyed the food as German (: I love Filipino cuisine.

Been craving for Aristocrat’s breakfast plates since months ago! Been overseas, and finally now I was able to drop by straight from the airport! Their breakfast plates comes with a brewed coffee or hot chocolate. It was filling and look at those perfectly fried eggs! 😍 However, a bit disappointed because as compared to what i had with them before, the taste has slightly changed now. I like the previous recipe of the longaniza and their beef tapa now is also different from the classic marinated beef tapa in small chunks. They are currently renovating the restaurant. Clean, spacious, and friendly staffs. The restroom is also well-maintained and air conditioned. They also accommodate parties and other celebrations.

Best comfort food. The price is reasonable and the service is fair. There is parking available but with pay. Aircon also functioning well. Order dessert also.

Aristocrat Restaurant is always a dependable choice for classic Filipino comfort food. The chicken barbecue with Java rice remains unmatched, especially with their signature peanut sauce. The ambiance feels nostalgic and family-friendly. Service can get busy during peak hours, but the staff stays attentive and polite. Overall, a great place for gatherings and satisfying Filipino meals.

This remains one of the top dining experiences in Metro Manila. While many rave about the BBQ chicken, I find it a bit too sweet. Personally, I believe their honey chicken, mechado, lumpia, and kaldereta are the true stars of the menu.

Still one of the best Filipino restaurants. Boneless BBQ chicken with peanut sauce and fresh lumpia a must try. This branch is still renovating but a good number of dining areas were already finished. Parking is aplenty but can get full easily especially during dinner. Excellent food choices and prompt service
Rico S — Google review
Aristocrat in Malate, the first one in the Country. It has been my favorite many years back and went back to recall some good memories. Same old crowded place. But the quality of the foods, to my personal opinion was just a hard pass. Ordered the all-time favorite BBQ chicken and park, taste was good, but served luke warm. I don't blame them - how can a fast-moving and high volume restaurant serve fresh BBQs?? Of course, they have been pre cooked and warm up a bit when serve. Also had pancit Canton, fresh lumpia, fried spring rolls and halo halo special. Service was good. They opened the back extension when they get busy, but the atmosphere is just like a cheap Chinese restaurant serving your groups. PS I don't like their BBQ chicken anymore as they were over marinated.

Step into the vibrant Circles Event Cafe at Makati Shangri-La, Manila, where a delightful culinary adventure awaits. This dynamic food hall features five interactive theater stations that showcase an impressive variety of dishes and beverages. Guests can savor everything from refreshing cold appetizers and succulent seafood to hearty Western meals and exquisite Asian specialties, all culminating in a tempting selection of desserts. The cafe's inviting atmosphere is complemented by its peaceful neighborhood vibe, making it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special celebrations.
I would say, overall it's good value for money (around P2300 in early 2025). There's a very wide selection, including a salad bar, Pinoy station and grilled station. The crab was underwhelming, the tuna was very tasty. The salmon sashimi was surprisingly excellent, most of the rolls were ok but the California maki was not good at all.

Had an amazing buffet experience at Shangri-La Makati! The food selection was incredible—fresh seafood, juicy meats, sushi, dim sum, and a variety of cheeses and cold cuts. Everything was well-prepared and flavorful. Of course, I couldn’t skip dessert! The crepes, pastries, and ice cream were the perfect sweet ending, especially with a warm cup of coffee. If you’re looking for a great buffet with a mix of local and international flavors, this is definitely worth trying!

I do not frequently dine here but visited at different time periods - late 2000, late 2010s and just this year 2025 (for a Sunday lunch), I felt that the latest visit was not at the same level as prior years. Food was ok, but not great and selection was not as extensive. I prefer seafood but there was not a lot of them. Desserts was ok and nothing special. Ambience was great though and location is superb being in Makati. Still worth a visit if you haven’t been here yet or if it was a long time since your last visit. Oh one last thing, only coffee, tea and service water are included in the buffet price.

We visited here last week and we tried a variety of dishes from the buffet. What we loved most was the ambiance—it’s warm, inviting, and very well organized, so you know exactly which cuisine you’re choosing from. Everything was also impressively clean. One thing I didn’t see in other buffets was the fresh lumpia. I absolutely loved it—it was so fresh and flavorful! A big thanks to Ma’am Ariel for her kind guidance and excellent service. We truly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be coming back!
Inday L — Google review
A cool spot with a unique twist on the buffet concept. Instead of the usual "all-you-can-eat" setup, you pick and pay for what you want. It’s a win-win—less food waste for the restaurant, and you only pay for what you actually eat. That said, it does mean you can’t sample a ton of dishes or control portion sizes like at a traditional buffet. Still, the food is fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. It’s a refreshing change, though it might not be for everyone.

We had a lovely afternoon tea experience here. We reserved early so our tea set was prepared ahead of time. The staff was very helpful. The ambiance of the place was posh and relaxed. I really enjoyed having dinner here. Service is impecable. There’s always someone at arms length to tend to our requests. Food is delicious, I appreciate the variety. We went during lunar new year so there were a few special items. I’ll list the stations and some of my thoughts: 1. Maki, sashimi, sushi -no tempura -great sashimi selection, maki and sushi are flavorful. Better than most buffets 2. Salads -have the usual caesar (hand tossed), pasta salad, greek salad 3. Desserts -cakes have distinct flavor, love it -no choco fountain instead chef will dip for you, more sanitary this way -great variety of sweets, fruits, berries -interesting ice cream flavors 4. Italian -pizza, pasta freshly made -stews and cooked dishes 5. Seafood paluto -crabs, shrimp, salmon, also have chicken, pork 6. Roast beef -juicy, tender, towards end of night they are extra generous to avoid waste -no Lechon :( EDSA shang has 7. Asian -Indian dishes, vegetarian options available. I really appreciate this station. -DIY Ramen -Chinese dishes -Filipino dishes -Dimsum station, they have hakaw!! -Carving- Inihaw na manok, Lechon kawali, Inihaw na liempo, Pork belly, Char siu, Roasted chicken 8. Appetizers -cheese and deli here 9. Drinks -have to pay extra for this -the only free drinks are water, coffee, and tea You can reserve a table by calling them, no need to pay anything in advance. We paid Php 2,200+ per person. Overall, it’s worth what you pay for. There’s great variety and the best sellers are all available. I just wanted to post this to give people an idea of what Circles has to offer. I couldn’t find any video online that shows just that. Hope this helps someone out there.

El Chupacabra, a popular eatery in Poblacion, is known for its street-oriented style and no-frills, hidden-haunt appeal. It gained fame for its Al Pastor tacos and has become a favorite spot among the drinking crowds in the area. The tiny dive offers a variety of street tacos with different fillings like beef, pork, or seafood, making it an ideal place to enjoy as pulutan alongside their great cocktails or as post-drink grub.
Their food was so good! I love their burrito. It satisfied my craving. I ordered the San Diego style (with fries). My boyfriend ordered street tacos which was good as well. I love their iced tea by the way. I loved it so much that i ordered again 😁

It was a nice experience. There is a vibe in the place. The meat/food is quality. Freshly cooked off the fire. We've tried better flavored tacos and burria, but we were satisfied and happy we went. They have fan and air-conditioned seating. They have lots of food and drinks offerings that you can choose from. Must try. But not a resto we'll crave to go back to and we also live in a different so we can come conveniently.

Boy, the place is so hot during the day without an AC. I’ve never been to Spain, but this place seems to be going for a traditional Spanish vibe, and honestly, it pulls that off pretty well. The atmosphere has a lot of charm, though the heat kind of kills the mood. The food was just okay for me—nothing special—but the prices were quite reasonable, so I can’t complain too much. There was only one staff member handling the whole dining area, so service was a bit slow.

My go to place for a chill out meal withy family.... All my sons are into Mexican food..... They love their quesadillas (cheese and garlic), their Chimichanga Asadas, their beef Burritos..... We are just decided to splurge for the night (Nov 1, 2025). Bill would have been.more if they had Coronas and Smifnroff in stock. Due to no stock my two older boys resorted to coke (hahaha saved a buck there). Wifey and I, just loved their pork barbeque. You gotta try this with their special chilli paste (ask for it or you won't get it, hahaha)... Heads up, make sure you have your cold beer with you before eating dipped barbeque in the chilli paste ..... (Don't say I didn't warn you). Go there, try whatever you want and enjoy yourself...... Don't order the rice, it's too filling and it will spoil the rest of the meal, just stick with the true arriba Mexican food.... Enjoy guys and BTW KUDOS to ALL the STAFF and CHEF of El Chupacabra.

Filling Station Bar And Cafe is a quirky American-themed diner located in Makati's red light district, just a few blocks away from Abraham Manila. The restaurant is adorned with 1950s memorabilia and life-size superhero statues, creating a unique and nostalgic atmosphere. It offers a menu of hearty dishes, including typical diner fare and traditional Filipino meals that are popular among foreign travelers.
Immediate yes! 🙌 I’ll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first about trying a diner in the Philippines 🇵🇭—but it ended up being the best decision of the day! 💯 Pure visual impact from the moment you walk in to the moment you step out 😍. Every inch of the restaurant bursts with nostalgia—from the floors to the walls to the ceiling 🎞️✨. The decor was clearly done with intention, the staff were beautifully dressed 👗👔, and the music was absolute perfection 🎶🎵. I ordered the garlic shrimp 🍤 and it was spectacular! Even the side dishes were seasoned perfectly and full of flavor 😋. The freshly squeezed orange juice 🍊 was such a lovely surprise, and of course, I couldn’t leave without some ice cream for dessert 🍨💛. It’s open 24 hours, which is wild 🤯! When I visited for lunch, it was calm and relaxing, but later that evening the place was packed—the entire street was alive with people and energy 🌆✨. A must-visit spot — you absolutely won’t regret it! ⭐️

I think it's the classic and their American Burger. It's meaty and juicy, but it lacks dressing. Nakakumay din pala ang lasa ng meaty burger 😅 Too much fries which is nakakaumay din 😅 It comes with a small amount of coleslaw (hope they can add more LOL) ⭕️Street Parking only. Hirap mag-park saka napapaligiran kasi ng club so medyo busy ang street na to, saka di ko masabi kung safe nga ba 😅 Hope they can find a better location. We're planning to visit the place again to try their other Menus 😁 That's all 😉

The food is okay..not the best, but definitely decent enough to match the lively atmosphere. Overall, it’s a great spot if you want good service, a cool setting, and a fun time.

Best strawberry malts milkshake I've had so far! Their nachos and chili fries were okay. Place was exceptionally decorated, staff had dance numbers, birthday songs were being played for guests, and Mr. Bean graced us yesterday. Gets very crowded though and the queue especially during peak hours might be long, and the servers may be overwhelmed with the number of customers and orders, but overall, it was a great place to hang out with friends! Highly recommended!

The Filling Station is definitely worth a visit for its extravagant and unique atmosphere every corner feels like a retro movie set! 🎞️✨ The décor and vibe are amazing, full of color and nostalgia. However, the food itself isn’t particularly special. It’s more of a place to enjoy a drink, take photos, and soak in the cool 1950s diner theme. Perfect for a quick stop and a great experience overall! 🍹📸

This place was an oasis in my travels. The food is or normal American ammounts and the paraphernalia plastered on every single square inch of the place is amazing! Not to mention, they literally have a 1957 chevy ballair convertible converted into a seating booth, which is one of the coolest things i've ever seen in my life on top of so many other cool collectibles and iconography of western and predominantly american culture.

Already visited this place twice, food and atmosphere does not disappoint. The place can be overwhelming for your eyes but it's very appealing, like you are visiting a museum. Food wise, quality is superb, so expect that it is kinda pricey. Open 24 hours, it is busy on dinner time (we went on a weekend at around 5pm and it was almost packed). Overall, it's one place you can visit on a special occasion or even on a random moment when you want a good quality eat.

It’s a good go to place for aesthetics. Found this when we are looking for 24hrs open bar and cafe. Ordered pasta, pizza, chicken wings and banana split for dessert. The manager is accommodating. Will rate the servers 3. Food is too oily for my liking.

Shang Palace at Makati Shangri-La, Manila is a renowned Chinese restaurant known for its signature dishes like the Shang Palace Peking Duck and an extensive range of classic Cantonese offerings. The restaurant's elegant ambiance with chandeliers and red motif has made it a quintessential spot for fine dining in the business district. Executive Chinese chef Ben Lam adds his own twist to traditional dishes, such as roasted duck served two ways and savory shrimp with cucumber.
Really excellent Chinese restaurant (as to be expected in the Shangri-la) with excellent service. Everything is prepared to order, and the quality shines through. The Dim Sum dumplings are generously filled and tasty. Try the xarrot shaped pork fried buns ... very clever presentation of a classic dish. Top tip: if you want Peking Duck.. order it as soon as you sit down... there's a 45min prep time.

Location was excellent. Walking distance from the mall, so if you would like to go shopping after a meal it’s convenient. It’s a buffet but they bring the food to you unlike regular buffet places. Which I think saves them food cost and food waste that I agree. Food was good but it’s taking a very long time from the time you order and when it’s brought to your table. My recommendation is to order ahead so you’re not waiting for a long time. When we asked how many servings per plate since there are 13 of us. The server said two to three orders should be sufficient. As you can see from the photos it is a small serving. So it is not enough. I love a private dinning room if you have a big party. However, when they close the door you have to wait for the server to come back if you need anything else. Is it worth over 2k per person to dine? I don’t think so especially from traveling in different countries and experiencing buffet at other hotels. Ambience was impeccable and so is the cleanliness. Restroom is clean but very small for such a big hotel. Valley parking is available.

I was pleasantly surprised by the speedy service and the overall quality of the food. The prices were fair, especially considering it's a hotel restaurant. I found the seating to be clean and comfortable, though it did feel a little old. For portion sizes, the soup is a generous serving for one person, and the fried rice could easily be shared by two to three adults. However, the three-combination platter was a real disappointment. The roast pork lacked the crispy skin I was hoping for, and the char siu was far too fatty. The only redeeming part of the platter was the roast duck, which was just okay.

We had their yum cha lunch buffet. dimsums were yummy but service is slow, you have to keep following up your orders. Highly recommend their siomai, shrimp rice roll, barbecue honey pork buns, roasted crispy pork belly, stir-fried dishes, pork & century egg congee.
Lindsay B — Google review
Service is slow though waiters are very polite. Maybe not enough waiters during lunch(?) It took more than 5min for the first waiter to arrive to our table to give us the menu and good 20min for our food to come out. Good thing we were not rush. If you have time to spare it’s a very nice ambiance place.

Food is ok especially their friend chicken. Every part is juicy even the breast part. It's not dry at all. But portions are small for its price and service is sloooooow. Food takes forever to arrive. To be fair, it is December 25 so they are probably understaffed.

This is one of the fanciest dimsum places I’ve been to in Manila. I’m glad that they have vegetarian options like the crystal veggie dumpling which was pretty good. Definitely would come back again.

Great food! After a miserable experience at a Chinese restaurant of another hotel, Shang Palace at Makati Shang delivers. The sweet and sour pork is one of the best we’ve tasted. The pork is crunchy amidst the perfectly well-balanced sauce—tangy, sweet, savory. The surprise is the crunch provided by the pecans! It was not on the menu but I ordered salt and pepper fried tofu and it was spot on. I liked the big square cuts of the tofu and the hint of spice. The yang chow fried rice was exceptional too. Rice was soft, not too oily and perfect amount of meat and veggies. We also ordered the steamed lapu lapu which was fantastic. The fish was flaky and tender and the soy sauce was elegant in its simplicity. I think we’re coming back for more!

Ilustrado Restaurant is a renowned dining spot located in the heart of historic Intramuros in Manila. Housed in a charming heritage building, it offers a romantic setting with antique decor and lush surroundings, making it popular for tourists and wedding venues. The menu features a mix of Spanish, Filipino, and global cuisines, including traditional dishes like callos Madrilena and jamon serrano alongside favorites like caesar salad and Canadian maple-glazed baby back ribs.
Great service! Very friendly host and even more attentive, professional and polite wait staff. Food were amazing as always. My favorite was the tanigue in turmeric cream (amazing sauce and perfectly cooked fish!), paella ilustrado (generous in fresh seafood and meat toppings), and sampaguita ice cream (I think it's a divisive flavor but I personally enjoy it). I appreciate the traditional look of the resto but I hope they can use table cloths with no stains next time. Ilustrado is a must-visit when in Intramuros!

Had the chance to grab a quick dinner here after hearing it’s a popular spot in the area. The host guided me to my seat right away, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. The food was okay and satisfying for a quick meal. The location is also convenient, very close to Intramuros, which makes it a nice stop if you’re exploring the area. Overall, a good spot for a casual meal with great service.

Overpriced and Unhelpful Service I booked this venue for an upcoming event and ran into a few issues during the planning stage mainly with the food tasting. The package included tasting for two people, but since I’m based overseas, I arranged and paid for three extra family members to attend (₱2,000 per head). On the day, three other relatives came along but ordered à la carte and weren’t part of the tasting, which had been clearly communicated in advance. After the tasting, my family raised a few concerns: • Some of the agreed menu items weren’t served. • Portions were quite small considering the extra ₱6,000 we paid. • No alternative options were offered for dishes that didn’t work out. When I tried to relay this feedback, the staff member handling my booking came across as defensive and dismissive. Instead of offering solutions, they seemed more focused on explaining why things happened, which made the whole exchange unnecessarily frustrating. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend this venue for event planning or coordination based on how things were handled.

We were looking for some Italian food in the Intramuros area and this place was recommended. Upon arrival, the exterior of the place is impressive with a beautiful Italian patio tucked into a courtyard. Entering the restaurant, I was a little shocked. The look is very fine dining with 7 waiters standing around in bow ties, white shirts and black pants ready to serve. It's 7pm and we are the only guests. Awkward. The menu is not that impressive honestly, it's a hodge podge of Italian, Phillipino and "other" recipes in plastic inserts. Kinda weird. I ordered the chicken and it was great! The prices are fair! Next, 3 men with guitars came in wearing Hawiian shirts, came to our table to serenade us. Kinda weird, but fun! They were great! All in all, it was a good experience. Would I go back? Probably not. It was fine as a one-timer place, but the menu did not have a lot of great choices and the atmosphere is a little stuffy,, except for the mariachi band.
Ben M — Google review
Pricey for the kind of food. The paella is almost a thousand pesos and our home cooked paella was better. There are two areas of the resto. We arrived there around 5:30 pm and ushered to the area to the right (from the entrance). The place was not crowded and there's a big television mounted on one corner where the wait staff's eyes were glued. They were watching some usual local tv content and it was very noisy. With that, it did not feel fine dining at all. We expected a pleasing, soft fine dining music, not a blasting television. My partner asked a wait staff if there will be live music since he remembered reading that somewhere. And indeed there was in the other part of the restaurant (left wing from the entrance) which opens at 6pm. We asked to be transferred there when it opens. At 6pm we were guided to the left part of the restaurant which looked better, more the fine dining vibes. A little later, the musicians arrived. But it seems they come to you and seranade you and you give them money. Because they didn't sing for everyone. They came to our table and sang to us only. They were great musicians, for sure, just like most Filipinos.

Great Atmosphere, Disappointing Service Ilustrado Restaurant has a beautiful, nostalgic vibe that fits perfectly in Intramuros. The setting really does feel like a walk back in time. Elegant, old school, and well put together. That part, no question, is the highlight. Unfortunately, the service just didn’t match the setting. We were a group of five and they only set up four place settings. When they added the fifth, they forgot the plate and utensils. We ordered champurrado and asked for extra bowls. They brought out only two and forgot the spoons. It was a constant pattern of having to ask twice for things that should have been automatic. When the next set of dishes came out, the used plates from earlier weren’t cleared, leaving the table crowded. We had to ask them to clear it and even then, they only did half the job. We had to call them again just to make room for the new dishes. The food was decent but not memorable. I’ve had better paella elsewhere at a lower price point. Nothing was bad but it didn’t justify the premium. To their credit, they offered to hold our leftovers while we explored Intramuros, which was thoughtful and appreciated. I really wanted to enjoy the experience more than I did. The ambiance is amazing, but the service was careless and left a lot to be desired. If they can tighten that up, the place has real potential. But for now, two stars feels honest.

Ate here on Easter Sunday (late post). But everything that day was AMAZING and delicious. They are very consistent in terms of taste and quality. Sashimi was fresh as always and their lamb biryani was superb. This hotel always have the best pastries and dessert display (Just look at my photos haha). One of the best value buffets in town and it includes everything. They have a signature lechon with crispy skin. They have Thai, Indian, Japanese, Pizza and very good bread. The salad bar is awesome. They also have a very large selection of desserts and a very good Tiramisu cake. I can go on and on....it is best for you to try it.....highly recommended.....

The buffet offered an extensive selection of dishes from around the world, with a strong focus on Filipino, Halal, and Thai cuisine. However, I was surprised by the limited Japanese options, which are typically a staple in most buffets. The dessert selection was particularly impressive, and I was pleased to learn that they serve lechon daily. Their creative fusion of local flavors was intriguing, but what truly stood out for me was their homemade ice cream—it was the perfect way to end the meal.

Sentro 1771, located in Greenbelt 5, has been a pioneer in modern Filipino cuisine for almost two decades. One of its standout dishes is the Corned Beef Sinigang, which put a unique twist on the classic favorite and has become iconic. In addition to this famous dish, Sentro is also known for its other offerings such as Fried Kesong Puti, Tochong Bangus, and Tilapia Fillets with Coconut Milk.

Modern Filipino food most well-known for their Corned Beef Sinigang, which is quite delicious. It's located on the bottom floor of the Greenbelt 5. They also have great fried kesong puti (taste similar to mozzarella sticks) and kangkong. They have a wide variety of traditional Filipino desserts and bottomless sago't gulaman, which I felt was quite sweet, but might be more of an acquired taste. Compared to other Filipino restaurants, I did appreciate that the food isn't as salty and felt well seasoned.

Restaurant Review: Sentro 1771 Sentro 1771 was buzzing on a Saturday night—every table filled and the energy lively. It took a while for our food to arrive, but honestly, the wait didn’t matter once we started eating. We were especially excited about their Sinigang na Corned Beef, which we ended up devouring so quickly we completely forgot to take a photo. The broth was perfectly sour, just how sinigang should be, and the tender corned beef was a nice, hearty twist on the classic. It was comforting and packed with flavor—something you’d come back for. The lechon kawali was crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside, just the way you hope it will be. The grilled bangus, topped with calamansi slices, was simple yet satisfying—a great balance of smoky and tangy. We finished off the meal with desserts like sticky rice with mango and suman with ube, which were the perfect mix of indulgence and nostalgia. Yes, the wait was long, but the food and the warm, vibrant vibe of the place made it worth it. Sentro 1771 is the kind of spot where Filipino favorites are done with care, and you leave thinking about what you’ll order next time.

Friyay Dinner with the daughter, March 14* Was looking to cap off daughter's birthday week with a quiet and yummy Friday dinner. Her choice: Thai cuisine for a change. My choice: a resto with less people. 🤪 (Tita is waving) 👋 Simply Thai at Greenbelt 5 did not disappoint with its contemporary Thai dining - taste, ambiance. 🇹🇭 Contrary to what a new acquaintance shared, that he had a date in this resto recently and food was 'not authentic Thai'. (He was German and said he knew many cuisines, so that made me more curious). Food - Tom Yum soup with seafood was superb! Dunno if it's usually served the same way, but me and daughter were delighted. It just got a bit 'heavy' or ngalay for our hand at some point with all the scooping. 😜 - Chicken pandan, meat was cooked just right. Found the portions small and removing the pandan leaves took some time cause some parts were burnt much. 🍂 - Shrimp rolls were healthily yummy and bigger portion vs expected. Good sauces vinegar and the peanut sauce. 🍤 We didn't order rice anymore, but saw the other tables enjoying their crab rice and pineapple fried rice. Pad thai, chicken satay and mango sticky rice were also fave orders. 🥭
Greyseatots S — Google review
This place has the best tom yum soup of all the Filipino thai restaurants available that I've tried, in my opinion. They have the right spice to it and with a bit of kick. I love it. We have been a repeat customer over the years. Pad thai shrimp chicken was flavorful and a bit on the sweet side. Noodles were cooked perfectly, not soggy and the crushed peanuts were crunchy and easy to chew. Seafood lime coconut salad was delicious. Mussels and squid used were fresh. Shrimp had no fishy aftertaste to it. Beef Krapao was good but the basil wasn't the sweet Thai basil. Maybe it was just regular basil but overall the flavor didn't lack in umami. Crab Fried rice was what to be expected of it. A mild hint of crab flavor maybe. Personally I wish it was stronger. Green chicken curry was also good. I wish the sauce were thicker. It was a bit watered down. Signature Thai Milk Tea was just okay. I think it was one of those instant Cha Tra Mue powders you can purchase. A bit sweet. Place was a bit hot since we dined in the afternoon this time, the sun was a bit concentrated in the area. Nevertheless, the temperature was bearable and we were able to take great pictures. Finally. Dining in during the evening is also good but the lighting inside is too dark to take decent pictures. That's why we were only able to review now. Highly recommend. Thank you for the sumptuous meal. Affordable too. Their spice level is just super mild, so make sure to request "extra" spicy for the chili lovers out there.
Jillė — Google review
Great Thai food. Strangely enough their seafood in red curry only has a hint of spice despite supposedly being “normal” spicy. Our favorites would be the chicken satay, prawn cakes and chicken pandan. You can’t go wrong ordering those. The seafood in red curry could be spicier. I couldn’t really taste the crab in the crab fried rice.

I ordered Khao Soi. The coconut flavor was mild, but the soup was well-balanced and delicious. The noodles, however, were a bit underwhelming.

So far so good but little bit pricey (7 years ago) Updated after 7 years for recently experience: The place is huge and upstairs got more spaces, the ambience it's quite cozy as well There's lot of authentic Indian dishes and masala tea is one of the authentic drinks which is must try with diff spices and ingredients The cheese naan and garlic naan are the best no matter is for snack or main dish but the only problem is the burnt parts, there's a lot especially from the side and the bottom 😕 Tandoori chicken and the chicken korma are not bad to eat with basmati rice , just try any dishes which you never try before for some special experiences Still, the price ain't cheap but portions are good enough for group sharing, overall it's worth and I'll give 5 stars if the naan ain't got many burnt parts 🙂‍↕️

The dishes and drinks we ordered were delicious and well-prepared, though the Cochinillo Segoviano, which had a waiting time of about 45 minutes, was a bit underwhelming in flavor compared to our expectations. We appreciate the staff's kindness for serving complimentary dessert along with a birthday greeting and song for our mom. Overall, it was a good dining experience and we really appreciated the thoughtful service. 4.5 out of 5. See photos of the food. Since we were a group of 10, we ordered two of each dish.

We visited on a weeknight and the restaurant was full. We ordered a few drinks and dishes, and I was surprised at how slow the service is for the drinks. It took them over 30mins to serve our drinks, and one of it came after 45mins (same time as the paella!). I’m not sure if they really take THAT long to make the cocktails or if they forgot our orders, but this kind of disrupted our dining experience. Even the next round of drinks took a while that we already finished eating.. Food was good though! Hope they can just improve on the drinks because their cocktails were actually good, just wouldn’t wait that long for them…

Cozy ambiance, great food, great drinks, limited street parking, service is good. Great place for meetings, eat and drink with family and friends or officemates. Overall experience is good!

Loved the mojito, paella negra, and chipirones. Everything was delicious. Just wish we could combine promo drinks with the set meals. Overall, it was a great experience!

Good place to satisfy Spanish food cravings. Obviously, paella takes time to cook (30-40 minutes) so best to order appetizers especially if already hungry. Best ones we got were carpaccio de ternera (beef carpaccio with sundried tomato dressing and truffle cream) and wagyu bombas. Gambas al ajillo was just okay. Tried paella setas (mushroom truffle aioli) -- although it was delicious, it lacked that truffle flavor and could barely taste this even with the cream. Avoid dining in their al fresco area because there were a lot of flies in the 2x we sat there.

Dec 2024: Still a great place to hang out. Service one of its strong points. We had paella and wasn't blown away this time. Should have ordered the octopus. 5 years ago: Good food, good crowd. Prices are on the high side. Make sure you get a reservation especially on weekends.

Dean & DeLuca Eton Tower Makati is an upscale retail destination offering a wide range of specialty foods, including prepared dishes, as well as home and kitchen items. The establishment has gained popularity for its diverse menu, inviting ambiance, and customer facilities. From freshly-baked breads and pastries to a variety of beverages such as coffee and milkshakes, the place offers an array of options for patrons. The interior features warm lighting that complements the assortment of pastries on display.
I usually come to Dean & DeLuca Manila for their excellent lunch menu, but this time I found myself there for breakfast before 10 a.m. (lunch service starts after that). I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it! I ordered the French toast, and it was absolutely sensational—perfectly cooked, rich, and flavorful. My mom had eggs with potatoes, meat, and those potatoes were incredible—cooked and seasoned to perfection, the kind you keep thinking about afterward. I’m not even a huge breakfast person, but I found myself really loving the morning menu here. Overall, while I still adore their lunch and dinner, I would definitely return for breakfast again.

We had breakfast here cause its been raining and we cant go somewhere were staying on Eton tower so perfect place to grab food a bit pricey. But food is good. I love their croissant. Coffee serving is a bit small though. Accept senior discount but they also have serivice charge. Perfect for guests stays on the same tower.

The place has that chic, upscale vibe — nice ambiance overall. It feels stylish yet relaxed, perfect whether you’re grabbing a coffee, working on your laptop, or having a casual meeting. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy enough to stay for a while without feeling rushed. I ordered the Gochujang Pork Belly — slow-cooked pork belly served with kimchi and a fried egg. Taste-wise, it was okay; nicely presented but the portion was quite small. Considering the relatively premium price, it felt a bit less worth it for what you get.
Eddy W — Google review
The place looks clean and has a nice ambiance, but a few things were disappointing. The bottled water cap had visible mold, which I had to point out to the server, and the mushrooms served already had black spots. For the price point, I expected better attention to quality and food safety.
Mitzi B — Google review
The tomato soup tastes more like a Filipino-style version now, almost like it came from a can. It used to have a freshly made feel with a slightly tangy flavor, but these days it has become noticeably sweeter The smoked salmon didn’t taste very fresh, more like it had been frozen for a while. Overall, the meal quality isn’t as good as it used to be and doesn’t feel worth the price any
Julie C — Google review
FOOD NICE BUT EXPENSIVE - SERVICE SHOCKING Ok, we know the food is nice, but pricey. You are also denied a reasonably priced San Miguel Light and pushed to minimum 250 P beers BUT.... THE SERVICE..... 🙄 With only one or two exceptions, most staff are slow and unresponsive Generally they are viewed conversing with each other, often not even facing each other The other classic 'disinterested' characteristic is avoiding eye contact I had finished my meal, pushed my plates away and sat there looking at everyone who walked past me. For 20 minutes, a dozen or more staff walked past and looked straight ahead rather than at ANY customers They are in a responsive-ONLY bubble - the are not proactively looking for customers' needs in case they have to do anything It's not their fault entirely - they are low paid and unmotivated (very evidently) But the management is so poor and avoiding effort or conflict that they just tolerate this apalling service malaise Sloppy, lazy management Even waving my hand around eventually, they tried their best not to see and then, with an empty restaurant almost it took 5 minutes to get my bill. The Cashier walked off into the back room during the process, prioritising something else ahead of a paying client. 4 separate visits, always the same

Coffee was good but I teken out a star due to small portion. The cup size is very misleading. Maybe they made a mistake in explaining because the cups they have if you don't take away looks normal

Cosmic Poblacion in Makati is a vegan restaurant and cafe that offers a 100% plant-based menu. Despite the traditional meat-centric nature of Filipino cuisine, Cosmic proves that it's possible to enjoy Filipino dishes without meat. Their offerings include flavorful Sisig with Bagnet made from seitan and tofu, comforting Miso Mushroom Sinigang, and hearty Kare-Kare with Bagnet, all without animal products but still packed with full flavors.
Used to order often at Cosmic during the pandemic years because of their delicious vegan Sisig and Bagnet made with Seitan and tofu. This is my first time to actually dine in the restaurant when my friend who recently embraced a healthier lifestyle asked me to go on a Poblacion food crawl. Food - 5*, tried their Miso Mushroom Sinigang (₱295, sharing), Vegan Kare-kare with Bagnet (₱295, sharing) and Tempura Platter (₱450) with Quinoa (₱260, sharing) as our carbs. We ended with Vegan Leche Flan (₱110) and Vegan Chocolate Brownie (₱120) for dessert. All dishes were on point. Close your eyes and you'd think you're eating actual pork, beef or seafood. Satisfying meal. Service - 5*, attentive and efficient service from our server, Ramil Atmosphere - 4*, easy to miss if you're not familiar with the area but once inside it is colorful and trippy.

This is hands down one of my favorite vegan restaurants in the world. It’s not fancy, and that’s exactly what makes it so special. The food is simple, honest, and absolutely delicious. What I love most is how they take classic Filipino dishes and give them a vegan twist—you really get to experience the local flavors in a plant-based way. Every plate feels homemade, comforting, and full of heart. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the kind of place where you instantly feel at home. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a good meal without any pretension—just great food made with love. If you want to try authentic Filipino flavors while staying true to a vegan lifestyle, this place is a must-visit. 🌱🇵🇭 I definitely be coming back! Hiiiigly recommended. Thank you

Immediate yes! 🙌 Everything was absolutely spectacular and delicious. Even the basic garlic rice was cooked to perfection 🍚! My tempura was spot-on 🍤, and the main dish was full of flavor. I also ordered the passionfruit ginger mocktail, which was so refreshing and tasted exactly as described 🍹✨. Would definitely recommend this spot 💯. It was a little tricky to find at first — it’s on the 4th floor of the blue building — but once you step out of the elevator, the path of rocks leading to the restaurant adds such a nice touch 🪨🌿. The pictures online didn’t quite match the furniture setup, but it’s still a cozy, low-key vibe that’s absolutely worth the visit. I overheard another customer mention they’ve changed locations a few times within the same building, which probably explains the photo mismatch. There’s a mix of comfortable cushion seats with beautiful wooden tables 🪵 and some silver chairs that give a quick dine-in feel — an interesting combo! 😄 I was there during the rain 🌧️ and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. And last but not least, the music was amazing 🎶. Loved the playlist from start to finish! ⭐️ 10/10 would come back again!

This was my first time eating at a vegan restaurant, and I was genuinely impressed. If you were to do a blind taste test, you probably wouldn’t even be able to tell the dishes were vegan—they really nailed the flavors and textures. Everything we tried hit the spot and tasted just like their meat-based counterparts. The atmosphere was alright—not particularly aesthetic if you’re looking to take cute photos, but the food was very well presented. The staff were friendly and attentive; we didn’t even have to ask for water because they kept checking in.

Your best chance as a vegan to try traditional Phillipino foods. It won't disappoint! Edit: thank you Cosmic! I returned again to sample more wares. This is my favorite place to eat in Manila! I spent two hours waiting for my Grab/taking the Grab in rush hour to get there but soooooo worth it! Added more photos. You are angels! Please keep making this food. 🥰

Excellent vegan food. Mocktails are a little too sweet for me however I'm sure they will adjust if asked. The only downside is that the stools look good but are really uncomfortable.
Timothy D — Google review
We were so surprised by the quality and taste of the food! I was with a vegetarian friend who have strict diet restrictions - no meat or any ingredients with traces of meat. So they explained to us the ingredients used, and the substitutes to reach it with similar taste (like yellow beans for bagoong, black beans for “beanuguan”). The servers here were also extremely polite and courteous. We definitively recommend this!
Mike L — Google review
Went there for dinner during my stay in Manila. I ordered a main course dish after staff recommendation and it tasted delicious. Vegan brownie as not good as it was little hard and dry. Ambience is nice and the earthy touch to their interiors is quite soothing. Why am I giving 5 stars? When I went to pay my bill at the counter, i just shared my feedback that food was delicious but brownie wasn't good. They removed the brownie charge from the bill without even asking and I was completely ready to pay for the same. Such genuine places need a loud shout and a huge appreciation!

Steak house
Bondi & Bourke, located in Davao, offers a delightful blend of Australian cuisine in a chic and modern setting. The restaurant, situated within a trendy boutique hotel, is known for its sophisticated comfort food co-created by chefs Wade Watson and Patrick McCarthy. The menu features an array of options including grilled kebabs, steak cooked to perfection, seafood dishes, and unique twists on classic drinks.
I just want to commend Boni and Burke Restaurant for consistently delivering an outstanding dining experience. The food is always exceptional — flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between cozy and elegant, making every visit feel special. Most of all, the staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and professional. Their genuine hospitality truly sets the place apart. Thank you for being a go-to spot for memorable meals and excellent service. Keep it up!

Our recent visit here was good. The food was truly brilliant—each dish was a creation of flavor and presentation. They served good wine and the Pork belly melted in your mouth.. though I hope they add additional sauces as it felt dry when paired with a slice of squash

Had a great experience at Bondi & Bourke! The food was amazing, especially the steak — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. The overall menu was impressive and everything we ordered tasted great. The staff were also very friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. Excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommend Bondi & Bourke if you’re looking for delicious food, good vibes, and great hospitality!

Dining at Bondi & Bourke was such a treat! The ambiance felt refined yet welcoming, and to make the experience even more special, Chef & Owner Wade Watson himself graced us during our visit. We indulged in a wonderful lineup of lamb dishes: Australian Lamb Chops – perfectly cooked and paired with house-made labneh, mint cucumber, grilled lemon, and herbed oil. Fresh, tangy, and herby flavors elevated the juicy chops beautifully. Slow-Braised Aussie Lamb Shank – served with green pea and potato purée, root vegetables, roasted onions, mint jus, chimichurri, and crispy onion rings. Every bite was tender, flavorful, and layered with textures. Truly unforgettable! Lamb Bolognese Pasta – a comforting twist on a classic, with ground lamb adding a rich, meaty flavor to the sauce. Bondi & Bourke truly showcased the best of Australian lamb—premium flavors, beautifully plated, and executed with so much finesse. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a true Aussie dining experience here in Manila.

When you ordered a 600g steak, they gave you 400g +20mins more waiting; When you ordered a Medium-Well steak, they gave you something bloody and ask you how’s the steak, do you want to wait for cooking again… God knows what happened to this restaurant, it was pretty good before, or perhaps I didn’t know it yet.

Bondi & Bourke is an exceptional dining destination that perfectly combines comfort, elegance, and world-class flavors. The steaks are always cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and bursting with rich flavor. Their menu offers a great selection of international dishes, each one crafted with high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail. The ambiance is classy yet welcoming, ideal for both casual lunches and special occasions. The staff are professional, friendly, and attentive, making every visit a truly satisfying experience. Italian restaurant
Caruso Ristorante Italiano is a renowned dining destination in Makati, offering an authentic taste of Italy in the vibrant Salcedo Village. The restaurant exudes old-world charm with its classic Italian ristorante ambiance, featuring white tablecloths, soft lighting, and art-adorned walls. Since its establishment in 2002, Caruso has been a favorite among locals and even attracted celebrities like Andrea Bocelli.
Our experience at Caruso Ristorante Italiano was 5 star. We lived in Italy for several years and we aren't easily surprised by Italian restaurants outside of Italy. This restaurant is the exception. Leo the Manager runs a efficient elegant experience on the level of any fine Italian restaurant in Italy. The ambiance is very old world traditional wood, brass and copper. The art is a playful modern interpretation of Italian food and locations. The tables are elegantly set with crisp white table cloths and well appointed waiters. We were welcomed and promptly seated and presented with three menus food with specials, a wine menu, and a vegetarian menu with a wide selection.of vegetarian choices. We were pleasantly surprised with bread dipping oil, olives, and pungent chunks of parmesan. We were quickly attended to, we placed our order and all questions were answered promptly. Our wine of choice The Primitivo arrived quickly and was presented professionally. The Enasalada Caprese ( tomatoes, basil and mozzarella) arrived promptly. The mozzarella was fresh and creamy. We received our pasta dishes and the the wine paired with them perfectly. The pasta was served hot. The Maccheronni pasta with a truffle cream sauce and porcini mushrooms was divine. The pasta was not to chewy or soft and the sauce adhered perfectly to it. The mushrooms were like velvet and you could smell the aroma of tartufo across the table. I took several bites of my spouse's Ravioli. The Ravioli with Sausage, beef, and pork was tender and well ground. The tomato sauce was bright and flavorful with the right amount of Parmigiano cheese sprinkled on top. Our wine glasses and water were refilled regularly and we were not hurried through our meal. I wish I had room for a second course, pizza ,or dessert all looked delicious. We opted for an authentic glass of lemoncello the perfect digestif for a lovely meal. We can't wait to come back on a Saturday for the piano player, or the Tuesday Tango dancing. Altogether a lovely peaceful meal on a Monday night with a busy but calm restaurant was appreciated. Well worth making a reservation. I can't wait to try more dishes. Thank you to Leo and staff for a 5 star experience.
Natasha L — Google review
The smell of detergent from the beer glass was so strong that I lost the taste of my food. The recommended wine wasn't tasty, and the pizza wasn't tasty either. The pasta was also not tasty so everyone in my group left it.

Ate here years ago and ordered takeaway recently. Whilst waiting I had some tiramisu and coffee. Waiters and staff were so attentive and prompt. Everything was so clean. It’s a bit dated now and when I was there it smelled of Lysol I think they were doing some cleaning in time for valentines and it smelled a bit too strong. I was the only customer and they were super attentive. Price is a bit too steep in my opinion but the quality of food was good and takeaway packed nicely. Due to the strong smell of cleaning agent I would say that my idea to not dine in was probably best because the smell was strong enough to take away your sense of taste. I’ll give them a 3.5 for this but pasta was good.

✅ Pros: 1. Accommodating 2. Homey 3. Godly quality! 4. Worth its value! 5. Staffs are beyond nice! ❌ Cons: N/A Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Remarks: Me and my boyfriend went here as recommended by the doctor friend of the owner and it didnt disappoint! The ambiance is just homy! LEO needs a raise as he's extremely accommodating and helped me decide what to order and even handed complimentary biscuits and limoncello! Its olive oil in cheese with toasted bread as complimentary starter is already to die for! We ordered: Appetizer Bruschette condite con pomodoro e basilico & Prosciutto Crudo The cold cuts are just perfect amount of savoury that compliments the fruit! While the bruschette is just salivating! Its tomatoes are just fresh!!! Mains: Tagliatelle alla crema di tartufo (meatballs on the side as requested and even handed a special sauce (i think it's truffle!) Ravioli Carne al burro e salvia Ravioli was the one Leo recommended when i mentioned i wanted it meaty with tomato sayce and UGH didnt disappoint! While my partner ordered the other one. ITS PERFECT! Dessert Crème Brulée Tartufo Classico And of course both dessert didnt disappoint although I must say it's by preference! One might love the other one more but for me as a sweet tooth it's just perfect (again!) Overall, this just made me feel I'm all over back in Europe but to be quite frank it's Sooooo worth its value!! I think our bill was around 6,000 and it's a full course set already!

By today’s standards, this is a fairly large restaurant which features a small club room for more intimate gatherings. Can probably seat 120 persons or more. But this is refined dining at its best. Proper linens here. Proper serviettes/cloth napkins lightly starched and pressed to perfection. As they say, the ways of the “Old World” which is now a luxury. No surprise as the owner is himself a Milanese who relocated and is now with his family in Manila. High quality selection of fine wines. Even the sourcing of the saffron used in their risotto was carefully done. Their staff and servers are sharp and attentive. And knowledgeable. They even have a Maitre’ D on board with many years of experience. No wonder this place is a favored place of diners who want an excellent meal.
Oskie R — Google review
The place looked a bit run-down and had an unpleasant smell of mold. The service felt tiring and unprofessional. The food, especially the pizza, seemed made with cheap ingredients – even the salami tasted low quality, and the base was clearly frozen. The salad was just a mix of canned tuna, some mozzarella pieces, and two soft-boiled eggs thrown over basic lettuce. Overall, the presentation was poor, the quality disappointing, and the price far too high for what was offered. By the time we left, the restaurant was practically empty, which sadly didn’t surprise me.

Nice and cozy atmosphere to have a good dinner. The food are 100% Authentic Italian which will make you happy in every bite. The owner, Mr. Emilio is very friendly and even seat with us to have a chat and a good Prosecco. He even sings classic Italian songs that will make you smile because of his good voice despite his age. Will surely be back to try their other dishes.

Came here on an Italian expat's recommendation for authentic Italian pizza, the best pizza place and Italian restaurant he could find in the Philippines (Thanks Loïc). Showed up in the early evening without a reservation but nobody cared because the restaurant was empty, and service was a little slow even when it was only half full. Margherita Pizza, Mozzarella Bufala Pizza and Gnocchi/Gnochetta are great. Bolognese spaghetti is okay, nothing special like back home in the West or the U.S. Praline nougat ice cream is overpriced and abysmally small. Fried Calamari was okay, the grilled salmon and spinach were good but overpriced. The bread and olive oil dip were excellent. I'd give the pizza a 7/10 from what I've tasted here and elsewhere, though in the U.S. I've certainly had better, though it's made by actual Italians or Italian-Americans. Still, it was good, I liked it, I'd order it again, but it seemed overpriced nonetheless. Yeah, I'll eat here again. Spent around $197 or P10,800+ in total for 5 people and 1 child.

Restaurant
Your Local, located on Esteban Street, is a renowned restaurant that skillfully combines Southeast Asian flavors with a Western twist. The cozy New York-style industrial interiors create the perfect setting for a casual yet memorable dining experience. Since its establishment in 2014, Your Local has been serving modern-Asian cuisine at Legazpi Village.
Don’t know why we only tried Your Local now. It’s become our go to for Asian flavors. Service is quick without fail. Loved our meal at the bar watching the whole kitchen crew make our food. On our first time trying, they missed serving rice with one dish, but made up for it on our next visit by giving us complimentary Choco na Gatas. Being remembered by staff made us feel valued. All the best to the team who makes service great every time. Thank you to Chef Anthony and Eugene. 😊

Such a memorable night! The staff were incredibly accommodating — even though only bar tables were available when I contacted for a reservation, they still went out of their way to get us a table. It made the evening feel extra special. They even surprised my girlfriend with a complimentary ice cream for her birthday, which truly made her smile. The food was just as amazing — every bite felt like our taste buds were discovering new flavors together. Warm people, great food, and the perfect atmosphere for a celebration. We’ll definitely be back. 💖

My friend took me to this restaurant for dinner tonight, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The meat simply melts in your mouth. We tried their beef lechon toast, lamb pares, and pork kare-curry and they all had exquisite flavors. The ambiance was so peaceful as we were the first customers to dine in for dinner. I would love to try their other food on their menu on my next visit!

Discovered Your Local through the Michelin Guide, and I can honestly say it’s well deserved. The food isn’t just “yummy” — it’s something fresh and exciting for the taste buds. Every dish feels like a thoughtful fusion of different cultures, yet everything still comes together in a balanced, satisfying way. The flavors are creative without being overwhelming — you can tell a lot of care goes into every plate. Price-wise, it’s not exactly cheap, but it’s definitely great value for the quality and experience you’re getting. The ambiance also hits that sweet spot — cozy enough for a good conversation, but lively enough to feel the city’s energy. Whether you’re catching up with friends or having a nice dinner out, this place just works. Overall, I was genuinely impressed. Your Local is one of those restaurants that reminds you why you love discovering new spots. Definitely a must-try in Makati.

If you ever find yourself torn between all the amazing Asian cuisines around Makati or Manila that is, this is the place. It’s the perfect local spot when you want something delicious, satisfying, and memorable all in one go. The ambience hits just right — dimly-lit, cozy, with soft-pop/ jazz music that makes you want to stay a little longer. The servers are warm and attentive, and the drinks menu caters to every mood — from coffee and non-caffeinated options to non-alcoholic blends and cocktails. Every dish feels like an explosion of flavors from start to finish. My personal favourites from the starters are the Roast Beef Bun and the Beef Lechon Toast 🫦🤤 both ABSOLUTELY unforgettable. For the mains, it honestly depends on your craving: • YL Vegetable Lumpia if you’re vegetarian (it’s so fresh and flavorful!), • Lamb Pares (suuuuper tender!) or Pork Chasyu Inihaw (so juicey ugh) if you’re into hearty, savoury mood, • or the Pork Kare Curry if you’re craving something rich and comforting. What we ordered: Drinks •Hibiscus Flora, Non-alcoholic Lychee Fizz & a Classic Negroni (off menu) Starters •Roast Beef Bun •Beef Lechon Toast •Miso Tuna Tartare Mains •Pork Chasyu Inihaw •Ginger Chicken Scallion •Pork Kare Curry •Lamb Pares Dessert •Yuzumansi Tres Leches •Choco na Gatas The best part? There’s always something new to try!! which makes it the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to until you’ve tasted everything on the menu. And don’t even get me started on dessert 🐽— both are musts: the YuzuMansi Tres Leches and the Choco na Gatas. On indulgent days, I’d honestly get both. Yssa took great care of my friends and I during our dinner night and we got to chat with their fun bartender Eugene and lovely Chef Jomina 🫶🏻. Will definitely come back for more!!

Food was a hit or miss. Nothing was overtly bad, it’s just that for the price, it was just ok. The wagyu nigiri was tender but it didn’t really melt in my mouth. Like there wasn’t any resistance chewing or anything but it felt like I was chewing for a while but the meat wasn’t disintegrating. Pescado frito was also just ok. Overall it lacked seasoning. The saving grace was the aioli it came with. Without that, the fish didn’t taste like anything even if it was cooked well. You only get a small sauce dish of it though so it’ll only last you 1/3 of the fish. If it was served with chahan instead of plain rice then it wouldn’t need as much sauce. The matcha lava cake was the best of what I ordered, no complaints with that

I had an amazing dining experience at Nikkei Ramen! The place has a cozy, relaxed vibe with just the right touch of modern Japanese charm. The highlight of my meal? The salmon sashimi. Just look at that marbling! 🧡 It was incredibly fresh, buttery, and sliced to perfection. It paired beautifully with the wasabi, pickled ginger, and that crunchy cucumber garnish. Service was warm and attentive, and the presentation of each dish shows they care about quality. Whether you’re a ramen lover, a sushi addict, or just craving something comforting and authentic, Nikkei Ramen delivers on all fronts. Can’t wait to come back and try the ramen next time!

It’s gonna be a habit like every after office to have a cocktail or two here. The ambiance makes me wanna stay and drink more… perfect time to catch-up with friends and loved-ones. My go-to cocktail is the Sake Sangria and it is not to disappoint! Now, I can’t wait to try other mixes not to mention they have happy hour promo as well. Aside from its complimentary chips (loved that it’s served toasted) and maguro sashimi (all time fave), I look forward to try their other delectable food here because the two times I dined here was only for a drink. And now, I promise to myself that the next one will be to munch that maki and sushi! I just wanna thank Ms. Gem and colleagues for always assisting us guests with its quality and professional service. I like the way they explain things and engage with the needs of customers.

Filipino restaurant
Sarsá Kitchen + Bar, led by renowned chef JP Anglo, is a strong advocate for Filipino cuisine and culture. During the pandemic, the restaurant showed support for healthcare workers, raised funds for typhoon victims, and provided aid to delivery couriers. They also collaborated with other local establishments to offer family meal sets and ready-to-cook kits featuring Negrense dishes that are not commonly found in the city.
It was my first time trying out Sarsa and I was already sure I'm going to go back to this resto (not just to try other dishes we haven't ordered but also re-order some of our faves). My friends and I ordered a good mix of food and the only thing that disappointed me was my stomach which can't take in more spoonfuls. Everything was delicious and has a unique filipino taste that appealed to our taste buds. The atmosphere was also very cozy and fitting for night caps. Favorites: Chicken Isaw, Inasal Sisig, Kare kare

You can experience Filipino culture by enjoying a lively meal together. The flavors are rich and salty, so you'll likely need plenty of drinks or rice to balance them. There are some areas where the service could be improved, but they were hardly noticeable. Overall, it was a great atmosphere.

Had Sarsa for dinner on a Friday night. We made reservations, but the place was not so packed when we arrived around 7pm. We had a balikbayan from Australia so we wanted to have some Filipino food. We heard about Chef JP Anglo’s Sarsa, so we wanted to give it a try. What we ordered: EMPANADA 🫔 3.5/5 - A bit dry, not so special. The sauce elevated it by a bit. An alright starter. KINILAW 🐟 4.5/5 - We loved this and the sauce was great. We loved the blend of spicy, sour, and sweet in this dish. For the price though, it didnt feel justified. Some of the cuts of fish were too small to have an enjoyable texture. I think the cut affected our experience and we ended up comparing it to other kinilaws that we’ve tried. Would have went well also with bread to soak up the sauce. SIZZLING KANSI 🍖 4/5 - My friends really loved this one. Great with rice! 3 WAYS SISIG 🍛 3/5 - Not too special. I think this was our least favorite because it felt like we were eating simple pork fat with not much flavor. CRAB TORTANG TALONG 🦀 4.5/5 - Second star of the show. Was worried since another comment said it was regular torta, but a friend who does not like torta really loved it. The alamang, crispy bits, soft torta, and sauce all went well together. I’d dream about this hahaha PINAKBET RICE 🍚 3.5/5 - A tad bit too oily for our liking. Didnt have a strong flavor so it could pair easily with our other dishes. 💸 Bill for 4 people: 3,400 *about 850 per person 🚽 Bathroom: clean, no bidet. But the lit incense was a bit suffocating. Overall, it was a bit pricey, and we were worried at first about the quantity of the food because it didn’t look like it was enough. We ended up having some takeout though since I think we had too much oil in this meal. Nonetheless, we enjoyed and may come back for that crab torta!

We really wanted to love this place since we’re big fans of Chef JP Anglo, but our dine-in experience was underwhelming, sorryyy 😞 Pecho inasal was dry and bland and the 3-way sisig felt more like a gimmick... once mixed, it tasted like regular sisig you can get elsewhere for less. The only standout for us was the gising-gising. Unfortunately, the loud blender noise from the bar made us feel overstimulated, youll hear it in our videos. Spent around ₱1,500 for the dishes in our photo, but to be honest, we’ve had better meals at more affordable spots.
Krystyna P — Google review
Celebrated here with friends. Excellent food and service. They serve elevated Ilonggo food prepared with extra care and effort resulting to richer tastes. Inasal was big and juicy. Batchoy had ramen like consistency. Recommeded celebration place with family and friends. The Michelin Bib Gourmand is well deserved.

Saw this resto from a food blogger and got curious, so we tried it today. Ambiance: Decent. The bamboo light covers are nice, and the space isn’t that big — around 11 or 12 tables only. Service: Attentive and polite. They served our food with a short explanation about each dish. Food: For someone who has been outside the Philippines for a long time and misses this kind of food, we’ve tried several local dishes — from kanto-style to more elevated ones like this. We ordered: • Laing – 3/5. It was good, but nothing special about the taste. • Beef Kansi – 2.5/5. Again, nothing special. It tastes like bulalo. The serving was very small for ₱800+. Overall, not worth it. • Chicken Isaw – 1/5. Nothing special either, and it costs around ₱300+ for just 3 sticks. It’s dry isaw with vinegar sauce — that’s it. Honestly, kanto-style isaw tastes way better. • Rice – 4/5. For the price, the serving size is quite decent. Overall: It’s worth trying once, but we wouldn’t recommend coming back. Of course, everyone has different tastes, but for us, this place serves common-tasting food at high prices. I hope the management realizes that their pricing doesn’t match the quality — not even the place itself. I don’t mind paying ₱3,000+ for two if the food is great, but this one… nah!

Great Filipino comfort food with a modern twist! The flavors are rich and balanced, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. Cozy interiors, perfect for casual lunches or dinner with friends. Tablea drink: 5⭐️ Liempo Barbecue: 5⭐️ Sisig: 3⭐️ Service: 5⭐️ Atmosphere: 3⭐️

The no BS review: Food: 5/5 - The beef kansi will not disappoint you! Service: 5/5 - Food was served within 10min after ordering. Atmosphere: 5/5 - Felt cozy and at home. I generally like their interior design which gave a light atmosphere. Price: 5/5 - The price did not really increase that much over the years. Also, their serving size is quite generous. The 1st time I tried Sarsa was at their BGC branch waaaay back 2017 or 2018. The first dish that I tasted was their chicken isaw and their famous beef kansi soup. At that time, my taste buds were introduced to a whole new world of flavors and absolutely loved it. Fast forward to 2025. I brought my wife to their Makati branch. It's her first time eating at Sarsa. We ordered isaw, kansi and crab tortang talong. Again..... an explosion of flavors. DELICIOUS! LAMI JUD! Their recent Michelin selection is truly well-deserved! Congrats to Chef JP and his team.

Filipino restaurant
Milky Way Cafe, a long-standing restaurant in Makati established in 1962, offers classic Filipino dishes such as their renowned Milky Way Kare Kare, Baby Crispy Pata, Bistek Tagalog, and Dinuguan at Puto. The establishment provides a nostalgic dining experience with traditional flavors. Originally a dairy bar in the 1950s, it has evolved into a go-to spot for Kapampangan cuisine.
we went there for sunday lunch - we waited an hour to seated in the hallway w/c was real humid. suggest you call to reserve a slot or come in for an early or late lunch. we waited still coz we’re curious as to why this was so recommended to eat at. had an issue w/ the parking guard also for he did not seem to want to assist us when we asked where the valet was. he just starred blankly at us. and when we asked again at a tone that he can hear that someone was speaking to him. he said there was none and even commented that the auto we have was too long. hmmm. already reported to management and we still ate here coz the food was indeed delicious. the inihaw na baboy tho was just tooooo gamey but the rest were stellar.
Always G — Google review
I’m on a quest for superb dinuguan (Filipino pork blood stew) from food providers that are consistently reliable to buy from. Actually I already found the perfect delicious one — Juliet’s Lechon. However they don’t always have it in the menu and usually it’s just included as a freebie when you order their whole lechon. Anyway back to Milky Way. It ain’t them. Apart from being overpriced (teeny portion for the price), the dinuguan is full of lean, stringy, dryish pork, essentially ruining the dinuguan experience as a comfort food. The timpla is excellent though with the right balance of suka and spices. Maybe they could offer an option of all lamang-loob sans the pork. Or use fattier pork or bagnet or lechong kawali maybe. The puto is also excellent though a bit on the too sweet side for my taste.
Bill Y — Google review
We ordered the dinuguan and it was so good! The halo-halo was great too! We also enjoyed the service. The ambiance could use an upgrade with a little more on the modern side.
Carlos B — Google review
Definitely come here for their halo-halo, as it is some of the best in Manila. They also have amazing local ice cream flavors and great steak with mashed potatoes. However, their sinigang is a little too sour for my taste, and they don't have many vegetarian options. Service is really good and there's a large space for dining.
James — Google review
Dinuguan, lumpiang ubod, maya maya escabeche were all good but pricey for small portions. Finish your meal with their famous halo halo 🎉 Pleasant staff, fast service. One thing I did not like was their NFA rice, it was dry, chewy, jolly-jeep quality.
Mike C — Google review
An old school but still a goodie. If you are looking for real authentic filipino flavor this is the place. Highly recommended specially to balikbayan or tourist. They stayed true to the filipino flavors, no gimik just good filipino food. My fave was the diniguan, been a longtime since I tasted this real flavor. Another fave is the Kare Kare and Krispy Pata.
Dennis O — Google review
Authentic filipino food! A bit pricey and most of the food portions were small or good for one
Edward C — Google review
Definitely a great place to have Halo-Halo and other ice cream desserts, in addition to a full menu of Filipino dishes. The restaurant is located in the second floor of a building housing several restaurants. There are two dining areas that are clean and comfortable. Service was professional; however our server took a long time before he came to take the order. Our order was delivered quickly and the quality excellent. We had the Milky Way Halo Halo, The Ginumis Halo Halo and ice cream. Everyone was happy with their order. In addition, the restaurant sells packaged and jarred items to bring home or give as gifts.

If you're missing Vigans boiled, deep-fried pork belly, try 8065 Bagnet. This family-owned restaurant in Metro Manila serves some of the Philippines' finest bagnet, using the dish for other dishes such as sinigang na bagnet and original bagnet.
I love the chill vibe and the dim lights. This will always be one of my favorite places to go to! The service was fast; we got the food in less than 8 minutes. Their dynamite and kangkong were nicely cooked. Although it's not supposed to be the highlight of the meal, the bagoong is just way too good!
Jared S — Google review
Food was great as usual, though as Ilocanos we sometimes wonder about the authenticity of the bagnet. However our biggest problem during our visit yesterday was that… the bathroom was atrocious. Roaches everywhere?! Water puddle on the floor. Roach crawling on the toilet seat. Roach on and near the tissue. Even a dead cockroach INSIDE the liquid soap dispenser. I don’t think I want to come back unless this is remedied. If there’s cockroaches all over that area, who knows where else they are? I’m sorry, for a restaurant I’ve loved and raved about for over a decade, this is just unacceptable.
Imee M — Google review
Please do not put your opening hours as 11AM if you are not ready to provide service yet. Went there today around 10:45 since 8065 Bagnet is a nostalgic place for me. Staff came at 11AM said they still need to get ready, and advised a 45min wait time. Prep work should be done before you open your doors.
Grace C — Google review
Good service, and good food and drinks for the price. No parking on premises but has a very casual approaching cozy vibe to the place. Would definitely recommend for friend groups and as a casual place to hangout.
Gino A — Google review
Originally, they have been located at St. Paul Street. But has been moved to a newer and smaller location at the dar end of Estrella street. I have been this place since November 2022, but regardless of moving to a newer location their service is impeccable to the standard that it os always packed with customers because of their famous dishes and affordability. It is a bit of walk for some who are not regular customers, but when you make it there all that traveling is worth the meal they serve. I should try their coffee just to hang out on a less crowded day the next visit.
Mark C — Google review
It is owned by Kitchi Nadal. Place. Air-conditioned. There is an option to stay outside and watch TV while eating. Inside the restaurant is air-conditioned but not really that strong. It is enough to be comfortable. There are books, paintings and plaque of recognitions as part of interior design. Food. I recommend Bagnet Kate-kare, Bagnet Sinigang and Bagnet regular. You can as for free Mango and Bagoong but the Mango is so soury. Bagoong is not really that excellent. Price. Worth the price. Menu is good for 2 to 3 person. Their Ala carte is great. I like the quality of their cook rice and flavored rice like Bagoong rice. Experience. We can buy rice from outside and we will order their menu. Staff. Very accommodating. They served their food less than 15 minutes of not peak hour. We went their like 4pm.
Ady F — Google review
There's something about their Bagnet that draws us to them. We got our first taste of their Bagnet when they were still at Leon Guinto. Then we followed them when they moved to Estrella, Makati. Now they're at St Paul, Makati and we are still dropping by from time to time. They have several Bagnet dishes which I think we have tried all, but our favorite is still the original Bagnet. It's the real deal, oily, crispy, salty, unhealthy pork goodness. I also recommend you try the Binagoongan and Spicy gata flavors. Don't forget to apply self control and awareness, else might find yourself ordering extra rice and extra rice.
Edgardo J — Google review
Same great taste. Been dining here since 2011, the food and staff is superb as always. You can order the budget meal or the regular meal. They have a smoking area and they also serve beer. The ambience is good, perfect for groups or if you just want to be alone to enjoy the food.

Cartel Coffee Deli, located at Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences in Salcedo Village, Makati, draws inspiration from New York delis and vends. It offers a signature menu featuring high-end ingredients sourced from top suppliers. Beyond coffee, the cafe provides a range of offerings including deli items, pastries, market goods, and more. The cozy ambiance with wood paneling and dim lighting makes it an ideal escape from the bustling city.
Great, chill ambiance and delicious food! Love the vibe of this cafe! It felt like you were in Madrid! Had their mushroom omelette and tapa. It’s a bit pricey but worth it!
Mitch R — Google review
Food: Coming from a Filipino palate, we found the flavors quite subtle. We tried the ₱700 breakfast all-in set, and unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations. The mushroom soup was bitter and bland, the salad was fresh though, and the arroz a la cubana was just okay. The wagyu burger steak was bland as well. We needed to ask for salt and pepper so our food would have a taste. We had to put A LOOOOT of salt and pepper lol. Even the iced tea remained bland despite adding the sugar syrup. For its price, we were hoping for more flavor. Service: The staff were friendly and approachable, which added to the experience. Service was smooth and accommodating. Ambience: The overall atmosphere was pleasant, but the indoor setup felt more suited for evening dining due to its dim lighting. If you're looking for a bright, refreshing breakfast setting, I’d recommend dining al fresco instead. Additionally, the temperature inside was quite warm, so a bit more air conditioning would make the space more comfortable. Overall: While the service and ambience were good, the food was milder than expected for the price. If you enjoy bold, well-seasoned flavors, you might find it a bit subtle.
Coreen L — Google review
After lunch at a nearby restaurant, we walked to this lovely café. Since we were with our furbaby, we had to sit outdoors-which was okay. The weather was a bit cloudy, a bit windy-just perfect to be sipping Caramel Cortado and enjoying Manchego Cheesecake. Our choice was the perfect dessert combination of both sweetness and bitterness.
Susie S — Google review
The atmosphere is quite relaxing and homey. Was looking for a place open early that served a hearty breakfast and found this place. I tried their wagyu sandwich and while it was good, the portion size was waay smaller than I expected for the price they asked (600 pesos). The sauce on the side was refreshing paired with the meat. Was disappointed with the fries though. For the price they’re asking and the fact that they’re a deli, I expected more than the typical refrigerated fries you can buy at the grocery. Tried the Salcedo Swing by Yardstick that seems to be an exclusive item to the area. It was…interesting. Not something I would usually order because I prefer plain drinks. The pistachio syrup they used tasted a bit like something you’d expect from a cocktail instead of coffee. Eventually got used to the aftertaste and it kind of grows on you.

It was one of those rainy afternoons when you just crave something cozy — we were looking for a coffee shop and found ourselves at Cartel Coffee & Deli. I’m glad we did! They offer coffee, food, pastries, and even wine — perfect for any mood. Since I don’t usually drink coffee, I went for a glass of white wine instead, while my friend had his cup of coffee and a slice of their chocolate cake. I didn’t get to take a photo of it (regret that 😅), but I tried the cake — and wow, it was so good! Rich, not overly sweet, and perfect with either coffee or wine Definitely a nice spot to unwind, whether you’re in the mood for caffeine or a little sip of something else.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Makati, Mantra Indian Kitchen & Bar offers a contemporary twist on traditional Indian cuisine that is sure to delight your palate. Since its inception in 2016 by Ranjit Chimni, this modern eatery has become a go-to destination for food enthusiasts seeking an extraordinary dining experience. The menu showcases an array of innovative dishes, such as lamb vindaloo paired with quinoa risotto and chicken tikka masala complemented by mango chutney.
Best ever Indian restaurant with authentic Indian food taste. I would recommend to try this place above all restaurants here in Makati for one time. You would never go to any other place for Indian food. Best Dine in experience and service as well. Make sure to make a reservation before visiting.

It was one of the best Indian foods I have ever had. Came here to celebrate a birthday, and it did not disappoint. The service was impeccable. The ambiance was just right. The complementary appetizer, however, was too salty for us. Highly recommended.
C J — Google review
I've been always a fan of Indian food, and trying out a good Indian restaurant in Makati is one of my lists. The ambiance of the place is really nice, it gives you a more modern romantic vibe than the Indian vibe itself. Food is a bit pricey too, based on the ingredients made. Overall, the staff is accommodating, and it's not loud, it's nice to dine here with friends or family.
Romelyn D — Google review
My experience was pretty disappointing...but I'd still give 3 stars because the flavors were good. Rogan Josh is my staple order whenever I eat at an Indian restaurant, and it was my first time to experience that: 1) you have to order rice separately.... 2) I was served meat with bones... Apparently, at this restaurant, you have to specifically mention if you want your Rogan josh with bones or not. What a joke.

Superb. When I arrived and the moment I smelled the food being placed on the table beside us, I know this place is authentic. We enjoyed all of what we ordered, some of which were recommended by the attentive staff. Love the location, it feels like a secret. And the interior was pleasing as well.

Probably the best Indian food you will find in the Philippines. We got chicken tikka masala and loved it. It's super flavorful and rich, so we were satisfied splitting one between two people. The restaurant has a nice ambience and gets pretty busy in the evening, so I'd recommend making a reservation, especially if you're coming with a larger group. The only area for improvement is the tables. There's a metal bar underneath that makes sitting really uncomfortable 😅

If you're searching for the perfect spot to enjoy a romantic dinner, look no further than Melo's Steak House in Westgate. This charming eatery specializes in high-quality steaks, with the Japanese Wagyu Ribeye standing out as a must-try delicacy. The experience of savoring a juicy steak here is truly elevated by the chefs' commitment to excellence.
Had the set meal and wine with a friend. The escargot, soup, steak were amazing! The sides, however, were a bit cold and the dessert wasn't as delicious -- but not a deal breaker at all! Our servers, however, were so attentive and friendly! Very much appreciated how they checked on us, making sure we were served on time. Highly recommended restaurant if you want to celebrate an occasion, or just want good food while catching up with friends!

The appetizers were absolutely to die for, especially the Oyster Rockefeller. Their complimentary bread was incredibly soft, and the shrimp was amazing as well. However, the Wagyu Tomahawk steak, priced at ₱18,500, was definitely NOT up to par with other restaurants I’ve tried. The meat was cold inside, and the beef fat had already started to harden, indicating it wasn’t cooked properly. I completely lost my appetite after tasting it. That said, the staff were genuinely nice and very well-trained—some of the best service I’ve ever experienced. The atmosphere was also fantastic. Would I return for the meal? Unfortunately, no.

They were super accommodating, and the food was amazing. Prices are on the higher side, but if you’re in the mood to treat yourself, Melo’s is worth it. Big thanks to Ronaldo and Joy for taking care of us and accommodating all our requests.

According to AI : Fine dining is a sophisticated and expensive restaurant experience characterized by multi-course meals, high-quality gourmet cuisine, and meticulous, attentive service. It is defined by an elegant and luxurious ambiance, expertly prepared food using premium ingredients, and a focus on the entire dining experience as an indulgent and memorable occasion. 1. From the first glance i thought this is the Fine dining we are looking for. It was ok, not until staffs are shouting around and doesn’t even know how to deliver the food and set the table. Food are pricey, of course Fine Dining nga e. Even though there are 3 AC, me and husband are still sweating. It wasn’t comfortable plus we were seated next to group of young people who could afford Fine dining but doesn’t have decency and manners to talk silent. „Fine dining is Generally more expensive than other restaurant types due to the high-quality ingredients, skilled staff, and premium location. „ 2. Menu was great! We went there because of the Foie gras and Steak. But after we saw how thin they serve the steak, not even half of an inch. Man! How could we even say medium rare? Wo we took burger instead since Lobster is also not available😭 So anyway i ordered Clam chowder as Appetizer that doesn’t even taste clam or any seafood at all. It only taste like a plain creamy vegetable soup. For the main course i took the Very salty Wagyu Hamburger. After that i have no appetite anymore. I cannot handle more disappointments. One more thing, twice we wanted something from their wine Menu. In the end after a long search, it wasnt available. In the end we told them to write down what are still available. How hard is it to cross them out?

Restaurant
Grace Park Dining, located in One Rockwell, offers a unique take on familiar Filipino dishes with regional delicacies. Run by passionate chefs, it is known for its fresh approach to Pinoy flavors. The restaurant is a special place created by Margarita Fores and holds a special place in the hearts of many. Additionally, Grace Park transforms into a breakfast haven on Fridays and weekends, offering farm-to-table Italian dishes.
Absolutely loved this place! The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming perfect for a relaxed meal or a casual date night. What really stood out, though, were the desserts. They were not just delicious, but also unique and memorable. The avocado tart was a surprising delight — light, creamy, and perfectly balanced. And the lava pastillas? Rich, indulgent, and unlike anything I’ve tried before. It's a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
Richard S — Google review
Food was stellar, as expected of any Margarita Fores resto. My family loved everything except for the lechon--it was just fine. I highly recommend the Blue Crab spaghettini and the Muscovado Beef Belly. However, service could be better. We were seated at the upstairs area facing the window, and it was hard to call our servers attention. A few times, we had to repeat our requests for extra cutlery. Also, the batchoy ramen took almost 40 minutes to arrive. By then, my 7 year old niece was quite hangry. And even though my reservation mentioned that I was there to celebrate my birthday, the staff didn't seem to notice--which was awkward since they sang for the other tables about 4 separate times... LOL. Even my family was urging me to let them know, but by then I was a bit annoyed. Now yes, the place was busy. But I still expected better service considering our 5 digit bill. Next time, I'm going with a smaller group and sitting at the common area. Maybe we'll be served better then.

We had lunch at Grace Park and my family truly enjoyed the food and dessert. Our favorites are the lechon negros and the muscovado belly. Kare-kare was also great, it comes with alamang and bagoong fish. For dessert, we had the the tres leches cake and the chocolate lava with pastillas. The latter was super good, we wished thought it comes with a stick bread that you can dip in to the choco lava. Our server Tina was also super warm and friendly! We will be back, absolutely!

Had a wonderful meal at Grace Park! We tried the longanisa breakfast, muscovado belly, and the squash flower appetizer that are all flavorful and beautifully prepared. The squash flower dish was especially interesting and unique. As a big fan of iced tea, I loved that they served Ivatan iced tea such a refreshing treat! Great food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Can’t wait to come back 🙂

The restaurant prides itself with their delicious take on Filipino dishes, and they definitely did not disappoint. Food was definitely amazing, with the Penne with Ilonggo Chorizo Cream being the clear standout among what we ordered. The steak, was seasoned just right which allows one to enjoy either the gravy or cheese sauce that comes along with it. But a sprinkle of salt goes a long way. Moreover, getting that 500g cut for a fraction of a price compared to other steak houses is a great deal. The Filipino in me went for the Laing because i’ve heard amazing stuff about it, and it did not disappoint. Kudos to Tina for the great experience. Will definitely be back.

Went for dinner last night and we loved it! It was a chill, uncomplicated, and very satisfying dinner. Both of our entrées were delicious, however, I really didn’t care for the cuatro leches cake. I thought it was too dense and not really sweet but my boyfriend liked it. Lastly, our waiter Elli was lovely. Super attentive, friendly and sweet.

1st time dinning on Sunday noon. I’ve been meaning to try this place. Staff is friendly and attentive and the decor nicely done. Sunday provides the lechon so I had to try.Iit was good with the sweet pickled santol and the traditional sauce. It was tasty and good, but I’m a lechon kawali type of guy. I give the Filipina Salad a 5 star, I like the crispy shaved daing and the freshness of the greens. The dressing was light and balanced well also with the salted egg. The menu is varied and can satisfy any other appetite.
Norman M — Google review
Food is great. Tried the Bulalo and Lechon Laing. Would recommend the Laing. Super sarap. Bulalo is so savory. Bohol Takla is not for me. I did not like the crawfish. Fettuccini with truffle cream is so good and filling. Staff are nice. Thank you for the complimentary dessert for Mama’s birthday.

Kai Neo Japanese Cuisine is an Asian fusion eatery situated in Makati City. This establishment offers a varied menu, encompassing a range of Japanese delicacies such as sushi rolls, aburi, and teppanyaki. One popular dish they serve is the well-known sushi bake. Located on Level 1 of Greenbelt 5 in Ayala Center, this restaurant can be contacted at 0917-852-3654.
A great Japanese spot in Greenbelt for small bites! We love coming here for the high-quality food, just-right portions that leave room for more, and the consistently attentive service. The interiors and restrooms are also always clean.

Fantastic and very appetizing kind of plating. The ingredients were fresh, which made me come back twice within 3 weeks. The staff are friendly and attentive. The outdoor astmosphere is romantic.
CC J — Google review
The tempura was decent. The gyudon was not bad, but more on the sweet side and the sauce us thicker than usual. The place has a nice modern ambiance.
John V — Google review
My first time dining here at the recommendation of a relative. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Sukiyaki was good, but my favorite was the dessert. I found it creative and good too. Service was great & cr was clean ✨
Janna D — Google review
Too much rice Came here with the intention to try several dishes but only managed to ingest that much amount of rice. The soft shell crab roll should have instead “rice roll with a little soft shell crab” there was so much rice that I not only got full rapidly but I couldn’t really tell if the soft shell crab was there or not. The other dish I tried was the mushroom with tofu. A little too much garlic in my opinion but well garnished and good amount of tofu and mushrooms. Overall just three stars as I don’t think it’s worth the visit. Service and atmosphere was good though.
ENRIQUE C — Google review
Beautiful modern interiors and ambiance though I was expecting a more Japanese aesthetic. The food came in a timely matter. Delicious and clean. I'll visit again and try more sushi rolls. The staff were very attentive and were very quick to refill our drinks. Also we asked if we could transfer to another table in which the staff we very kind to accommodate our request. Important to note the tip or service charge is not included in the bill. Be generous to the staff, it's worth it. See you again soon.

Exquisite dining. Suitable for entertaining VIPs privately, for class reunions (for the wide space), birthdays, or for a feel of luxury at the upper middle class range. If you're looking for something Japanese that not only looks right but also tastes right in the good alley, then this is the place. Tastes authentic enough and presented well as if in a hotel's 5-star buffet. We tried the outdoor option on a mild rainy night where it was cool and comfortable. The screens make for a lovely mood in a serene Asian aura, the occasional pitter patter noteworthy. The servers appear well-trained and were never intrusive during our leisure meeting. I observed how they were also very attentive in filling in our cups of water without the need to ask for a refill, that was good. Two servers were on standby at either end of our table. They took our group photo upon request too. But I would say the glare from the evening warm lamp affected the photo, there was no way to avoid it. The plated dishes were interesting to look at, like artwork that sets the mood. Just the 7 seafood sashimi sampler platter had unique spelled to it for the eel and the other extra is worth it, better than when compared to the 5 type option. Tuna sashimi went out fast, large enough for our mouths and we couldn't help it. The chicken skewers were fun, tasty enough and smells of a well-thought of sauce, you feel like wanting more. The mushroom skewers were similarly presented, it balances the chicken skewers somehow as a side dish. The rice bowl gyudon looked small yet was quite filling. The different tempura and egg rolls were crunchy and has a way of ending in your stomach without noticing much were eaten quickly because of the mild side. The vegetable stir fry was good in that you'll find carrots okay to eat in the flavors that blended like a dance. Restroom doors had no labels, but you may check the hanging artwork's traditional attire to figure out the Male and Female side. This abstract presentation artistically complies to the Philippines' Gender mainstreaming initiative without being too forward. It's a single person restroom too so it feels safe. Overall, I think this is a place worth revisiting in the future for the sake of trying more Japanese dishes when you crave for something more special than usual.

You have to try the Chilean sea bass at this resto! Freshly pan-seared infused with truffle mushroom jus... I'd go back just because of this dish. Here's my short list of 'must tries', in no particular order: 1. Soft Shell Crab Salad 2. Unagi Roll 3. Tuna Tartare Servers are very attentive too! Plus points for that, enjoy!

Modern izakaya restaurant
After a two-year wait, the culinary gem known as 12/10 has finally opened its doors at 8 Rockwell, delighting fans with its exquisite offerings. This modern restaurant specializes in Japanese cuisine and is celebrated for its unique dishes like the beloved uni toast topped with chicken liver and a playful twist on the classic chocolate-caramel Twix bar served on a shortbread base. The atmosphere is inviting, featuring moody lighting that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
Celebrated my partner Henry's bday here--he loves places that do omakase and tasting menus. As far as the food goes, it was pretty good, I loved that they accomodated my allergy and it's reasonably priced. I look forward to trying their lunch menu sometime soon. Highlights: tofu appetizer, the gyukatsu, the duck and the desserts. The service is also very good. The total price of the omakase set of 11 dishes without drinks is PHP 5,600++.
Bunny L — Google review
Amazing service with very attentive waitstaff. Food throughout the night was well done, only major comments I had was on the risotto since it wasnt as well balanced in terms of flavor profile and got very overwhelming but big highlight to the lobster and potato dish, and uni toast both very worthy of numerous return trips would gladly come back over and over again
Jm B — Google review
12/10's omakase menu was an amazing experience. Definitely set the standard for us. It was an 11-course tasting menu that left us very satisfied. They have a regular menu, but made adjustments for lactose-intolerance and shellfish allergies (tragic, I know). Still knocked it out of the park. Get the Uni Toast! Service was top-notch. They provided confirmation emails, and sent us messages on the day to remind us of our appointment. We never had to ask for our glasses to be re-filled. Our server (Jason) was friendly and well-informed. Definitely go here.

The place is so nice, intimate, moody and cold. The staff are accommodating, attentive, and explains the dishes well which makes the dining experience great. We tried the 11‑course omakase tasting menu and it’s a great food experience. It’s well thought, planned and filling. We will try their ala carte menu next time. It’s a must try restaurant!

12/10 in Makati is a non-traditional Japanese izakaya serving creative small plates and great drinks. Went for the ala carte and everything was flavorful but in small portions, so best to come not too hungry. Loved the Uni Toast, Spicy Tuna, and Mushroom Salad. Great spot for date nights or slow dinners with cocktails.

It's Japanese food with a unique twist...very good food...the spicy tuna salad is a must try and the mushroom 🍄 salad too...

Easily one of the best dining experiences in the area. Food was fresh and everything we ordered was on point. If there was one dish that encapsulates the technique, creativity and vision of 12/10, just try their uni sandwich. It 👏🏼 is 👏🏼 perfection👏🏼. The attentive service complemented the care put in their food. Our sake carafe never went empty for the entire duration of the meal. Many thanks to Nikkie for making my bro’s graduation celebration extra special with a surprise dessert — it’s always the small but thoughtful things that make a huge impact. ❤️ Gonna be back for sure!

I ordered the vegetarian Malaysian noodles. As someone who has spent a lot of time in Malaysia, I thought it was an interesting take. The noodles were spicy and flavourful. A satisfying meal, worth the price.

Very delicious thai food and also a good portion of serving. We tried the black pepper tofu, thai basil pork, papaya salad, and thai quail egg. Took a little bit more time to cook the quail egg so we just take it out as we full already from the other food. Tried also tha thai pandan tea but a little too sweet for me. Overall very nice location and good ambiance.

Barcino - Rockwell is a delightful haven for tapas lovers, conveniently located in various cities. This charming spot offers an array of mouthwatering dishes that capture the essence of Spanish cuisine. Indulge in their popular Croquetas de Chorizo, perfectly fried to golden perfection, or savor the creamy Arroz Montanes, brimming with roast chicken and pork chorizo.
10-15 years ago, Barcino was the go-to place for Spanish food in Manila. Today, they have a lot of competition but I come back anyway for the familiar flavours and the nostalgia. Their gambas al ajillo is iconic and comes loaded with garlic. Their albondigas feels homely and the smoky bell peppers are a very nice touch. Their pan con tomate, which comes complimentary with other dishes, reminds me of my trips to Spain. They have a good wine selection and their churros are on point with rich chocolate dip. Their service is usually good but during this recent visit I found it a little hard to get the attention of the wait staff.

We had a meeting prior to my dinner. Order 1- conchinillo is 9k?! Hahaha we could've gotten a lechon de leches for that price me thinks. I wouldn't recommend you get it. Spanish style does not use that much herbs. It's pretty as presented but not as flavor packed. Order part 2 - paella will always be best here it's good for 3 to 4. The chicken is so-so. I loved the calamari with onion rings with the squid dip. Will order that again. Sad the unli margarita is gone.

Love the ambiance as well and the staff there were friendly and accommodating. Gellie is a nice staff there too. Will definitely go back :)
Mariele C — Google review
The appetizers were perfect, but the main course was a complete letdown—we should have stopped eating after the starters. To make things worse, the restroom smelled so bad that the odor reached our table, and we were seated about 10 meters away.
Pau D — Google review
Unexpectedly ended up at this Spanish restaurant in Rockwell, and though we hadn't planned on Spanish cuisine, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Sure, the menu leans towards the pricier side compared to neighboring spots, but it delivers an authentic Spanish dining experience that makes it worth the splurge. The portions are generous, and a tapas dish paired with a main and drinks proved more than sufficient for 2. Our order – a tapas platter, chicken salad, a rice dish, and a pitcher of sangria – exceeded our expectations in terms of size. I like their tempura chillies, interesting choice for tempura. The outdoor seating option was a nice touch, perfect for those seeking a breath of fresh air during their meal. Admittedly, the restaurant seemed understaffed with only one waitress catering to the entire night. As a result, our food, drinks, and bills took longer to arrive. Despite the minor delay, the overall experience was enjoyable, and the Spanish signatures of the dishes made it a meal to remember.

The food was very good and the place was decent enough to accommodate guests. However, what's disappointing is their pricing since our actual bill didn’t match what was stated on their menu. We expected to pay under 500 php but ended up being charged over 100+ php more. It’s frustrating and feels misleading. We hope they update their prices or at least inform customers if there's any changes ahead of time.

I searched for breakfast places near our Hotel in Makati. and Kanto popped up as an option. It has a good rating, so we went to check it out. I would be lying if I said the food here was anything less than delicious. We ordered the waffles with a side of scrambled eggs, a chicken longgeniso bowl, and hash browns covered with basted eggs. The restaurant gained popularity at the Salcedo Market for its chicken karaage and Ikomai Taco. It's a casual dining spot by Chef James Antolin and Nagoya Chef Hide, offering elevated Japanese street food with a kushiage twist.
"IKOMAI TOCHI" is a stylish casual dining restaurant that has opened in Salcedo, Makati, where I instantly recognized the flavors of Nagoya when I tasted the miso soup. The grilled dishes, made with various types of miso, are exquisite. You can enjoy a variety of Nagoya street foods, including grilled items, chicken wings, and kushikatsu. The miso soup made with Hachiyo miso is particularly outstanding, showcasing the skillful use of miso in their culinary creations. I provide a detailed review on our YouTube channel, "Senior & Cat Chronicles Life". You can check out the atmosphere and recommended menu items there, so feel free to take a look! This place offers a spacious atmosphere where outdoor seating provides a unique way to enjoy your time. The staff is abundant, ensuring swift service. The fried rice, however, seems to be just cooked in oil and lacks flavor. It's a good idea to ask for salt or soy sauce to enhance the taste. I would prefer not to use plates with cracked insides for orders if possible.

Came back after years and their food was amazing. I really should eat here more often! The steak was affordable and amazing. It’s not a cut I would usually order but tasted spectacular. Everything was so good. Lavs are clean, lots of parking available upfront. The service was excellent they went out of their way to find an adaptor for me to charge my phone. The overall service was super quick food quality good. Good place to eat outdoors considering lockdown restrictions. There’s parking up front (in front of the building). They follow social distancing measures, do the usual temp checks and contact tracing. Food was good I wouldn’t say phenomenal but good. Staff are attentive and even gave us a fan considering how hot it is these days. I would come here again maybe to hang out and have a couple of drinks with friends.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Makati, Kyo-to Kaiseki invites you to embark on an exquisite culinary journey through the art of traditional kaiseki dining. This Japanese restaurant is a haven for food enthusiasts seeking an authentic experience, where each meticulously crafted multi-course meal reflects a perfect balance of taste, texture, and seasonal ingredients. At Kyo-to, every dish is not just a feast for the palate but also a visual delight, showcasing the elegance inherent in Japanese haute cuisine.
Feb2025 Japanese Kaiseki style restaurant that serves highly traditional and seasonal rotating menus based on locally sourced main ingredients from regional Japanese areas. The dishes are very creatively thought of with a high degree of attention to all details of the culinary experience. The tastes are very much compatible and attuned to a matured palette based on very tradional combinations but of very high standards. The plating and presentation is profoundly beautiful and simple. The service staff are highly attentive, friendly and welcoming. The interiors are bright, clean, and exemplary in the little touches of decor, seamlessly transporting you to a very genteel side of Japan. Private rooms are available for a max of 5/10/20 diners. Though one must pay much to have this exceptional experience (8500++) and do note that advanced reservations are must as well as a reasonable dress code. Ideal for dates and small groups.

I had a really great experience at Kyo-to Makati! The way they serve the food is impressive beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. The portions may be small, but the quality makes it absolutely worth it. Each dish is packed with flavor and you can tell it’s made with the highest standards. For the price, it’s very reasonable considering the quality of every meal. Definitely a place I’d recommend for anyone who enjoys authentic, high-quality Japanese dining.
ROXANNE ( — Google review
With Kyo-to, you never know what to expect because the chef decides what to serve, based on what’s available. However, it seems what’s consistent are the snow crab at the start and wagyu steak at the end, both are very good. We were told you can also ask for sukiyaki. I think this is still the best kaiseki meal in town. Be sure to make a reservation a week before, because seating is limited.

The food was good and fresh, but the service is not omakase standard. they rushed through the next dishes, new food was on the table before we were even finished. The waitresses were really cold, we can feel they hate their job and just want to get the job done. the plates were cleared when one person finished, but not the other. :( We had a private room, but the room next door was very noisy. You can't see the chef preparing your food, not the standard omakase ambience. 8500p/p

The ingredients are very fresh and the decoration is very good, but the preparation is not delicious, and the portion is very small, and we have to make reservations several weeks in advance. We can't get enough for 8000P per person, so we won't come again next time.

Finally come here! During pandemic I was about to try, then found out it was temporary closed. I’m so happy it reopened again! The environment here is very Japanese style, from the outside of the restaurant to the inside design, even the tablewear are lovely! You don’t have to order the food, it will be served based on their daily ingredients (fresh!), so it won’t be exact the same everyday, which is interesting and surprising! Each course are so exquisite like a piece of art! Not only the appearance but also the taste! I love their rice!!!! Taste a little bit sweet! The chef is kind and courteous, also the staffs here are all very friendly and helpful. All in all, it's a great fine dining restaurant ! Highly recommend for some important occasions!

Kazunori Japanese Restaurant, also known as Kazu Cafe, is a delightful culinary gem nestled in the vibrant area of Kapitolyo, Makati. This unique establishment combines a cafe, main dining area, and sushi bar within an intriguing car showroom setting. While it may seem unconventional to dine among luxury vehicles, many find that this backdrop adds an unexpected charm to the experience. The menu features exceptional interpretations of classic Japanese dishes crafted with high-quality ingredients.
Been here 4 times and it's a hit every damn time. 100% CONSISTENTLY GOOD They're known for the duck soba, but I highly recommend getting the spicy beef soba. Their sashimi is EXCELLENT. The nigiris are super good as well too. Basically tried everything on the menu and they're all bangers. I love this place.

Kazunori—located on the ground floor of the Mazda Makati Building along Chino Roces Extension—delivers an elevated Japanese dining experience with three distinct concepts: a front café, a main dining room, and an omakase sushi bar led by Chef Saito Takeru. The seafood is flown in directly from Japan, resulting in exceptional freshness and balance in every dish. Signature offerings like the multi-course omakase (15–22 courses) showcase meticulous preparation and a stunning presentation. Our lunch was about ₱7,000 it was the 15‑course sushi menu, and I can describe it as "the freshest tasting sushi"—each bite bursting with flavor and remarkably satisfying. À la carte items equally impress: Uni & Ikura hand rolls, Wagyu truffle soba, katsu curry, and matcha tiramisu consistently top recommendation lists Tatler Asia+15PhilNews+15Tripadvisor+15. Redditors rave that "the pdepth of flavor from Kazunori’s curry is far superior" to others in the city. That said, service reviews are mixed. Some customers report inattentive waitstaff and slow response times, particularly during peak hours; others find it efficient but noted heavy-handed tempura batter or rushed dish delivery. Ambiance strikes a refined yet relaxed note—ideal for solo treats, dates, or celebrations. Make reservations early for omakase seating; walk-ins may only be possible at the café area. Pricing is steep by Makati standards, but for those seeking genuine omakase or elevated Japanese comfort food, Kazunori remains one of the city’s most memorable options. The best sushi dishes in town a must try....it's the best unagi I've ever eaten .....Highly recommended 👍👍👍

Excellent experience, as always 🫶🏻 My favorite is the Negitoro-don (minced tuna over sushi rice) The kampachi and ika sashimi were so fresh and delicious. And the otoro, even seared, tasted excellent and fatty. The staff was respectful and efficient, making sure we had everything we needed for a great dining experience. If you want to try something quite interesting for dessert, I suggest the black sesame ice cream as the flavor is unique compared to the regular flavors. Reservations are highly recommended. Restaurant is located inside the Mazda building, 1st floor - there is parking both in front of the building and inside the building (2nd floor)

Great food! We really enjoyed the unagi temaki and we had to order more of it. The oyakudon was really tasty and had some sort of fluffiness to it. Overall, a really nice place for Japanese food. The service was fast and the staff were friendly too.

I came here for lunch and ordered the Pork Steak lunch set that I had seen on Instagram. It was absolutely delicious. The set also came with a mango panna cotta for dessert, which made it feel like a great value. The restaurant has plenty of seating, so if you visit around 11 AM on a weekday, you should have no trouble finding a table.

Pretty decent sushi place. Extremely overpriced for an ootoro and it's not as fresh. 980php for an aburi ootoro which comes down to 2,500 yen, that's insane! I had a similar order at haneda airport for 1,200-1,600 yen (which is around 600php) and it taste really good! Like heavenly good. I guess I had my hopes too high. Still was decent. Service top notch Atmosphere superb!

NOOR MANILA, nestled in the bustling district of BGC, offers a one-of-a-kind culinary experience with its vibrant Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant seamlessly blends traditional flavors with innovative cooking methods to curate a diverse and delightful menu. Upon entering, guests are transported to a chic urban setting reminiscent of modern eateries in Tel Aviv or Beirut. Whether it's souvlaki, kebabs, or shawarma, NOOR is the go-to place for authentic Mediterranean dishes.

Great quality Mediterranean cousin. Good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We spend 2 days in BGC and had to keep going back to try different dishes , they are all delicious and good value for money. Tried the lamb kofte , chicken and shashuka for breakfast.premium price but real value. Staffs are super friendly and provide really good service. Would happily go back next time we are in BGC.
Hadi T — Google review
It's my third time to eat here and i have noticed they changed the menu. Baba Ganoush was a bit bland, underseasoned, and lacks the smokiness i am looking for. The kuboos was sweet, maybe it was done to adjust to Filipino palate similar to the pita bread in a Filipino shawarma stand, which i don't prefer. I prefer a neutral, earthy kuboos as served in the Arabian gulf and the levant. The Shawarma taco is good but the flavor is more of a mexican-american barbacoa instead of an arabian shawarma, like an American asado with mild spices which i dont mind, it was good, a fusion perhaps. Lamb kabab is ok, at least the Arabian flavor profile was there. Maybe because this is an Israeli restaurant, so its not the kind of arabian food i was used to growing up in the region. The waiter was very attentive to our needs but the service was slow considering that we were the only ones eating there at that time.

Hole in the wall restaurant! Haha want to gate-keep this gem! Great food at a fair price! Unique flavors, and clearly made with love and excellent technique! Came here for the kebabs!
John S — Google review
Could have been 5/5 if the lamb kebab was served hot. The hummus was so good and smooth like buttery spread. Loved the cheese and potato burekas as well. However when the lamb kebab was served it was already cold, so we couldn't appreciate it on its best taste as we were not able to eat it hot. The chicken skeweres with rice was great and served hot. We really enjoyed it.

Faves: rice cups, tofu, oxtail, tres leches Sentimental fave is tres leches. Very unique version, pretty plating, decadent, and just the perfect ending to all the savoury meals. Very delightful dishes and worth every cent! Deserves a michelin star 🥰 Best to reserve a table cause the place gets packed by peak dinner time. * i loved the ambiance too - full of cool art pieces!!

Wonderful experience! This is where my partner and I had our first date. We had to recreate it a year after and it still did not disappoint. They seated us on the same seats we first dated last year ago. The food is delicious! They even wrote happy anniversary on our dessert and even asked us for our theme song so they could play it while we were eating. The owner also went and talked to us to make sure everything is okay. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be back! 🥰

We had a great dining experience at Lampara! For starters, we tried the Dinuckdakan, which had lots of floss and really good flavor. The Croquettas were also delicious — cheesy on the inside and fun to try both on their own and with the honey. My favorite starter was the Chicharon Bulaklak, served perfectly crispy with just the right amount of saltiness and a tasty tamarind condiment on the side. For the mains, the Oxtail was my top pick — rich and flavorful. The Beef Belly was also good, and the Pork was nicely crispy. We got to try all the desserts, and my favorite was the Tres Leches — light, creamy, and perfectly sweet. The Yema Tsokolate and Polvoron were also enjoyable and well made. The servers were very nice and even took the time to explain the parts of our meals, which made the experience more special. The ambiance was warm and cozy, making it a great place to relax and enjoy good food. They recently received their Michelin Bib Gourmand Award, and it’s definitely well-deserved!

Went here for my birthday and all I can say is best best best service we received from a resto 🥹 It was during the awarding of the Michelin Bib Gourmand, maybe it had an effect lol but yes staff were so nice and happy. Food was good and reasonably priced, Dinuckduckan (?) just tasted a bit umay due to the egg, hope they add more duck since the serving felt like 70% egg and 30% meat. 5 ⭐ still ◡̈

I’m prolly the go-to person when it comes to food in my circle, so when people ask me where to eat in Poblacion, I tell them Lampara is my favorite. It feels like home here. The warmth of the staff and lightning-fast service make all the difference. I love the interiors and the buzzing sound of people connecting over good food, though that’s just me. It’s not super quiet when it’s busy, and that’s part of what I find so charming. My faves: pulpo, rice cups, croquetas with hot honey, beef tenderloin, laing, oxtail kare-kare, pork, and tres leches for dessert. Finding this place isn’t easy (which I oddly love), but Lampara is definitely worth visiting more than once.

Randomly stumbled upon this place after dinner at Super Uncle Claypot. We got the Temple Run (Langka and Banana based) and Hallelujah (Ginger based). The Temple run was sweet (which I liked) and didn’t taste overpoweringly of Langka - reminds me of Turon. The Hallelujah according to my companion was okay, but had an aftertaste which may or may not be contributed by aged ginger. We didn’t try out the food but the atmosphere and staff is worth visiting. Plus the drinks which are Filipino inspired.

The food itself is delicious and cooked perfectly right in front of you. A great spot to enjoy tasty dishes with a lively atmosphere.

Not good. Ate 25th Dec. Big group. Three orders canceled after 1.5 hours wait and multiple followups. Three people didn't eat. Food which did appear was so so and overpriced for quality and quantity. Waitstaff lacks training. Absolutely no reason to go there unless you love waiting and hate money.
Ramon S — Google review
24 Jun 2025 - 3 stars because of their prices. Don't get me wrong, the food was decent . See pix for details. Venue and service were as good as it can be at a mall resto. Massive, sloppy picture book menu was falling apart, which is not consistent with their prices. Might come back for the salmon bowl and the cold soba, but not for the tempura.
Joel L — Google review
Rib eye teppan was okay, a little expensive for the quality. (It had some tough parts) other inclusions in the set meal was good like the garlic rice and the appetizer. Salmon Ikura Don was a HUGE letdown. It was basically salmon don with a few pieces of Ikura. (Ikura Gunkan in other Japanese restaurants had more than what this bowl had to offer. Overall, pretty average Teppanyaki but there are better and more affordable teppanyaki restaurants out there. Interiors are nice but servers need to be more attentive.
Joseph Z — Google review
Food variety, indoor seating with privacy and the smoking area are the perks. This diner prefers quality over quantity though. The serving portions for the course meal for one person was too much. I would have ordered just one set and a sushi platter for me and my date but the waitress convinced us to order two separate sets. Some meat were chewy because there was too much tendon in the cuts. Also, could not eat a few pieces as they looked old or undercooked (in the photo) even though we ordered medium rare.
Mag M — Google review
One of the Japanese restaurant that you should visit around Makati. Main entrance is along the road and have one door connected to the mall. Cozy ambiance, clean place, food is great and staff are awesome. Food serving is usually good for two, but if they also have set menu in case you are a big eater. They have bar or counter seating where you can watch the chef while cooking. They have variety of alcohol drinks and graded meat too.
Veronne H — Google review
We've eaten at the BGC branch of the restaurant so I had some level of expectation before we even sat down. The entrance (it's actually a back door) thru Powerplant Mall was quite hard to fine - if you blink while walking, you'll probably miss it. The layout was quite cramped - much more cramped than the BGC branch. But that layout actually works - giving pocket spaces where diners can enjoy their meals in semi-privacy. The outdoor seating area was much larger, but we opted to sit indoors. The food and service were just what I expected. Food was prepared to perfection and the wait staff were all extremely attentive, polite and helpful. This is a quite pricey restaurant, but only if you order they varying grades of Wagyu. The other items on the menu however, are decently priced. The star of the visit was the monkfish liver sushi. Reminded me of a really clean foie gras taste. Loved it! Overall, this is a restaurant that we always consider in BGC. Now we know there's an option in Rockwell too. Keep up the good work, great food and amazing service!

Most of the food items are priced affordably. The Okonomiyaki was a winner. Though the steak was a bit tough and over priced. It takes about twenty minutes for orders during peak time. Private rooms available.

Located in Jaka Center, Urban Ave. corner 2111 Chino Roces Ave., Makati, Petra & Pilar is a popular spot among the BPO crowd. It used to be cafeteria-style but has now transformed into a usual yet beloved establishment. The restaurant offers light breakfast in the morning and a lively boodle fight at night. With spacious and well-lit interiors, it provides a cozy ambiance for patrons to enjoy their meals and drinks.
This was our first time to discover this plave eventhough it is just around the corner near at our workplace. The place is cool, neat, clean and fun to have a little chit-chat with your best buddies or have a date with your loved ones. I highly recommended this place not just because of good customer service but as well with their mouthwatering food that is totally cheap and affordable price.

Nestled in the heart of the city, Bistro Madrid by Terry's is a delightful culinary haven that brings authentic Spanish flavors to life. This charming eatery combines modern and classic design elements, offering both an inviting indoor atmosphere and a relaxed outdoor dining experience. The menu is a vibrant journey through Spain’s diverse regions, featuring delectable tapas like Croquetas de Jamon Iberico Cinco Jotas and hearty rice dishes such as the Bistro Madrid Gran Paella.
Great service and good dishes. Paella was delicious, croquettas were okay. Location is so perfect and got wide selections of wine. They even have a grocery on ground floor. Imported goods and they have some on sale which is great deal. If you join the memebership, will give you discount and points. You might consider that if you likes their food(it's free for 2,500 worth of single receipt)

This is probably the most orthodox Spanish food you can get around here. The taste is the same as the first restaurant in Pasong Tamo Extension, where the owner-chef used to show up often. You can also get precious jamon sertano and angulas.

Nice place, full of character and good ambiance with great view of Forbes Town Center on the 2nd floor. Resto- bar only had a few customers on a Friday night, so my friends and I enhoyed talking and listening to music. Great desserts and wide selection of wines. Good service with friendly staff.

Nice bistro atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor side walk seating. There is also seating on level 2, with a bar and a view of the street. Food menu is limited, but wine menu is quite extensive and decently priced. Other spirits are expensive. Also on retail sale are cold cuts, canned products, chocolates and wine. Service was okay, no serious complaints. On one ocassion my black label shot was forgotten and had to ask for it again, but no biggie. Overall a nice dinner and drinks experience at BGC.

Newly opened on Forbestown Rd, Spanish delicatessan, wine and restaurant. Good selection of tapas, salads, paellas and main courses. We had beef and tuna tapas, house salad and the lamb shank. All good. The lamb shank was moist, fall off the bone and delicious. There are inside and street-side tables.

The server was attentive and assisted us all throughout our dinner especially our guest. Some food were tasty with enough seasoning, however some paellas had too kuch seasoning. Maybe it was better if we added the lemon. Still this is one of your above average spanish cusine restaurant in BGC worth going and trying when you crave for spanish food.

Really a nice place. Amazing food, good staff and great ambiance, even better prices. Can't give them 5 stars though because when we order we got a lot of "wala sir not available" for many of their signature dishes and wines which is a pity 😥. Love the atmosphere!! Was able to relax and enjoy coffee with my friend after work. Barista Adrianne did great with our Japan Matcha drinks. Taste is perfect!

Let me get straight to the point: the matcha was not it. Yes, I am aware that with the name "Single-Origin" as a cafe, I should be focusing on the coffee aspect but sorry guys, I just love matcha alot and the matcha here was not it. It doesn't mean that it's bad, it was just okay. The matcha prescence ws there but it was more milk than matcha. It's reminiscent of a Starbucks Matcha Latte so if you like that, you might like this. Other than that, the staff was absolutely lovely, the desserts we got were great (bannoffee and pecan pie), ambience on a Wednesday night was superb, but matcha? Get their coffee instead.

There’s a big selection of coffee (which is awesome if you're picky like me), and everything I tried was delicious. The food was also really good — fresh and tasty without being over the top. Definitely one of my new favorite spots. Can’t wait to come back.

The ambiance here is really good, and we absolutely love their matcha, The pastries are delicious too especially the mushroom pork floss danish (i guess thats what they called), which was so soft and tasty, and the barista, Adrian, was super friendly. Kudos to him and the team! Will definitely visit again.

I don't know why, but the iced matcha in their other branch tasted better to me... Still, a fine place. what we ordered: - Prawn Laksa - Nasi Goreng - Hakaw - Century Egg The Prawn Laksa was actually quite large and can be shared between two people if hindi kayo matakaw. Lots of noodles, 2 pcs shrimp, 2 pcs squid, 2 pcs fishball. Combining the Laksa and century egg was a good combination. Nakakabusog, it consisted of a small leg, wing, and thigh. The rice was good too. The chicken was crunchy however the meat itself was just ok.

We always visit this place, even pre-pandemic, since their food is always warm and place feels cozy. Good enough experience. There is nothing special about the place, not bad either. We ordered rendang and nasi goreng. The serving size was just about right. But definitely not if you are hungry. I got like 8 small pieces of beef. Maybe 6oz steak at most. Nothing looks particularly appealing, but the taste holds true. No deserts, no soda water. No selection of juices.. fairly limited all round. The atmosphere is zero irrespective of the decor. The service is nothing special.

Straight forward Singaporean inspired food. The prices are absolutely fair, the dishes are a bit hit and miss though. I tried so far: Braised Beef Noodle Soup (3*), Char Kway Teow (2*), Sweet and Sour Fish (4*), Lechon Kawali (5*), Roasted Chicken (5*), Beef with Broccoli (5*), Kung Pao Chicken (2*), Thai Beef with Basil (3*), Pork Asado (4*), Roasted Chicken Noodle Soup (3*), Beef Rendang (3*), Sambal Grilled Fish (4*), Black Pepper Beef (4*), Steamed Fish with Ginger (4*), Mee Goreng (3*), Braised Beef with Radish (4*) The pulled tea is disappointing. Service is fast and polite. Recommended!

Please take note this restaurant might require you to present your vaccination card and a government ID. This is in accordance with Makati City ordinance. Please observe proper hygiene and cleanliness. This was our 2nd time dining at 101 Hawker. (The 1st visit I forgot to take photos because we were too focused on eating!) The interiors/ambience of the place did remind me of those hawker stores in Singapore. Food is very good and very affordable (please see my photos for the menu). Served on time and in good temperature. We had Yang Chow, Lechon Kawali, Mixed Satay, Butter Chicken, Beef Noodles and Salt-Pepper Pork. The proportions/serving sizes are very satisfying. Though I would not recommend the Mixed Satay because it was too thin to be satay. Other than that, overall experience was excellent. I'll be coming back to this place, and I will update everyone. Update Sept 21, 2022: Been visiting 101 Hawker again with friends and colleagues. Prices have increased but that's understandable due to inflation. But service and food still very very good.

Ever since I dine in here (2018), and now 2023, the expectation is to eat the same quality but this surprised me even more! Tastier and promising menu like the Nasigoreng, Prawn Laksa, Hakaw and more! A must try dishes and you’ll never go wrong!

I’d have to agree with some other reviews who say that the food is not the most delicious but it does suffer at being affordable. The portions are good too and it’s a decent place in that you’ll feel like you’ve eaten well enough. They have vegetarian options too.

Nestled in the vibrant Poblacion district, Mijo Comfort Food is a delightful haven for those seeking a blend of good music, inventive cocktails, and heartwarming dishes. The restaurant's cozy ambiance makes it feel like home, attracting a loyal following among locals. During challenging times, Chef Enrique Moreno showcased his dedication by preparing meals for frontliners with community support.
If you’re looking for a date place or a hangout spot this rooftop bar and restaurant in Makati is a must-try. They really meant it when they claimed comfort food! Everything we tried was hearty and packed with flavor. Of the food, I enjoyed the Sisig Tacos, Paella, and Bread Pudding the most. We also ordered a round of cocktails and everyone enjoyed. I loved their Grapefruit Sour, and the Lila was so refreshing! Place was not crowded at all on a Sunday evening, and the layout really makes it nice and cozy for small gatherings. The servers were all so nice and attentive when dinwd there. Thank you again!

We spent my bf's birthday here. Loved the ambience, the food is good, the staff are friendly and accommodating. I reserved a few days before his birthday and asked if they can give a piece of cake with a candle. On the day, they actually messaged me and didn't see the message! But still gave it anyway after our meal, it was a funny interaction. overall a great place. Would definitely go back there for some coffee while I work :)

Nice place to chill, very friendly staff and they make sure you always have water on your glass or at least whenever they can. All the food we had are good, paella we had was a little salty but if it was a little less salty it would have been perfect, also I wished that the paella had a little more of the rice maybe add at least 100-200grams more, as it was too little but they were generous with the other ingredients included in. Overall everything was great just add a little more rice to the paella and it will be perfect, just a little bit underwhelming lang din kc to scoop the rice na halos flat layer lang I wish madagdagan lang kahit a little bit more.

Came here with an Eatigo reservation. Portions are huge and tasty! Each ingredient used was fresh and we loved that most about Mijo! Service was also so prompt and generous–we got banana upside down as complementary dessert! Thank you team Mijo! 🙏

Mijo proved to be a delightful discovery on my first visit, feeling like a hidden gem in Poblacion that deserves to be shared. Their thoughtfully curated menu, while not extensive, speaks volumes about their commitment to quality over quantity. The food certainly lived up to expectations. We sampled the Iberian Chicken, Sisig Tacos, and Chorizo Fries, each leaving a distinct impression. The house-made chorizo in the Chorizo Fries was a standout – truly perfect and easily ranks among the best I've ever tasted. The Sisig Tacos were incredibly delicious ("masarap, masarap!"). The sisig boasted a wonderful crispiness. While they leaned towards the pricier side, the quality definitely justified the cost. The Iberian Chicken was also enjoyable. However, I found the balsamic dressing on the accompanying side salad to be a bit too tangy for my preference. Taking advantage of their one-buy-one-get-one cocktail offer, we opted for the Gin Basil Smash. Initially, it presented with a strong citrusy note, but it mellowed out and became more balanced as it diluted slightly. The service was commendable. Despite being walk-ins, we were readily accommodated by a friendly staff. For those who smoke, they also have a designated smoking area. Additionally, the restroom was clean and well-equipped with handwashing facilities and soap. However, it's worth noting that parking in the area is quite limited. Also, Mijo is situated on the second floor and unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible I'm already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of Mijo's menu.

If good Spanish food near makati poblacion area is what you’re craving for then Mijo has your back. I appreciate it that they give you an option on how cook you want your paella to be. Their rib eye steak is also tasty especially if you order a creamed spinach on the side. I highly recommend this place. P.s. it’s not pwd friendly. It’s on the 2nd floor with no elevator access.

We had an amazing late dinner with delicious food and fantastic coffee that truly hit the spot! Christian went above and beyond—he was so attentive to our every need, even making sure we had all the condiments we requested. He also shared a payment link that offered us some great discounts. What a thoughtful touch! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Great food. I love their cheeseburger because of its juiciness. Every bite, a juice oozes out. Make sure to order your cheeseburger at medium rare. The only miss for us is the hummus. Service is a bit busy since the resto was packed.

Our first time dining here, and will definitely come back. We are welcomed and served by Glycel, compliment to her attentiveness and happy Vibes. Compliment to the Chef i had Chowder soup and Kimchi Fried rice with tenderloin steak. All was very nice, food portions are very nice. We cannot finish and take it home. We really had a nice dinner.

Had a nice lunch here. Super love their tuna melt (I declined the cheese) and the salad that goes with it. Waiter (forgot to get his name) was super apologetic after serving us the wrong dish. Admitted his mistake and offered to replaced the baguette to sourdough for a softer bread (we ordered french toast). Great pastries.

Went there 11am on a mid-week holiday. Brunch was excellent (Reuben sandwich and Thai curry, had Vietnamese latte), service was impeccable (thanks to server Ana), and the vibe was slow and quiet at the time. With the Grab discount, it sweetens the whole deal.

Whenever I come to Manila (Makati), I visit this place because I really enjoy their food. The servings are huge and the flavors come alive in my mouth. We lived the Beef Tapa so much. The service was awesome as well especially Miss Ana and Miss Daisy who were very attentive to all the customers. See you again soon!

Amazing food and a cozy atmosphere. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the beef tenderloin carpaccio stood out — the seasoning was absolutely perfect, and it was truly exceptional. We went for dinner, and the dim lighting combined with great music made the ambiance even better. Definitely a restaurant I’d love to visit again.

Money well spent after dining at Pablo Bistro. We ordered the Goat Cheese Mixed Greens Salad, Seared Seabass, Shrimp Aglio Olio, and Paella Squid Ink. Every dish delivered! The salad was fresh and balanced, with creamy goat cheese adding the perfect touch of richness. The seabass was beautifully seared and tender inside, while the shrimp aglio olio had just the right kick of garlic and spice. The squid ink paella, though listed as a single order, was generous enough to comfortably serve two. The pasta portion was about 100 grams just right for a light yet satisfying meal so if you're going to order pasta, make sure to order two if it's going to be your only main dish. Overall, excellent service, a cozy ambiance, and great flavors all around. Definitely a restaurant we’d return to! *Paella squid ink is not in the picture

Upscale, artsy, classy and hip. Nice menu, wine list and cocktails. Building has some nice art as would be expected and a neat little galley on the 3rd floor. Food was better than expected and we look forward to returning. Reservations highly recommend.

Tasty delicious chicken food, I tried these two dishes named “Roasted Organic Chicken Half”, and “Chicken Parmigiana” with Garlic rice. It delicious served with vegetables and fries. Indians taking Chicken can try it, as well, as it do not have beef. Also tried “Sauteed Veggies”, which is tasty vegetables but feels like it missing the dressing of “egg less mayonnaise “ of “Del Monte”. Although it is still delicious , tasty and mouth watering taste.

Re-visit tonight for putsnesca The dish is well cooked. But STILL, AGAIN, same as the steak last weekend, it is too heavily SALTED It is good to have seasoning, but this level of salt kills the subtle flavours of the olive oil, black olives and garlic even. Chef - if you are a smoker, recognise this reduces you taste sensors, and you compensate by over-salting Fundamentally a nice dish but killed by the salt. I'll be drinking water all night now 😏 ** Positive Response below from restaurant which generally gives me confidence that the minor salt issues and staff knowledge will be resolved. Price point is at customer's discretion of course. Service star upgraded to 5* now. Thank you for the fast and positive reply ! _________________________________________________________ PLEASANT ENOUGH BUT OVER-SALTED AND STEAK NOT JUSTIFYING THE PRICE POINT Lovely ambience and friendly staff We chose chicken and a rib-eye The meats were cooked correctly as asked Nothing wrong with the meals though the rib eye had more chewy texture at that price point than I would expect, though it was tasty Server didn't know anything about mustard and didn't understand when I asked for it and enquired on the type - bit of training there Chicken was nicely cooked though would have benefitted from a bit more seasoning Paella was very well cooked with plenty of the burned base 'socarrat', well done The biggest gripe was that everything and particularly my steak was over-salted. I was drinking water half the night after Usually this is the sign of a chef who smokes heavily with suppressed taste sensation. Anyway it was excessive Secondly, this steak, although pleasant and tasty (aside from salt) just wasn't justifying the price charged. It's at the wrong price point so I couldn't pay that premium price for the average quality again.

Second time dining in this place, both dining experience has been amazing. I’d like to commend JM, the server who was attentive in our dining experience. He saw we were cold due to the temperature and he immediately adjusted it to our liking, and even poured us water and wine whenever our glasses run low. He has also been understanding with our needs with the food and beverages. He was quick, attentive, and accommodating. He’s always smiling when attending to our needs. His service is commendable.

Thai restaurant
Benjarong Restaurant, nestled within the luxurious Dusit Thani Hotel, stands as a testament to the rich culinary heritage of Thailand. Renowned for its exquisite Royal Thai cuisine, this upscale dining venue combines traditional flavors with modern techniques under the skilled guidance of Chef Watcharaphon Ja Yongbanthom. The restaurant's commitment to authenticity is evident in its intricate dishes that feature rare ingredients and stunning presentations.
I ate here last night as I am staying at the hotel and I didn't want to go far. The food here was delicious. The staff were extremely pleasant, and the restaurant had a real chilled vibe. What was really cool was the papaya salad being made at our table. You can see the pictures. I then had crispy pork to start with, followed by the 72-hour slow cooked beef. It fell apart and was really tasty. The portions were a great size, and the food was a decent price. If you're looking for some tasty Thai, I really recommend it here.
Robert P — Google review
I had a wonderful dining experience at Benjarong. The food was exceptional—each dish was bursting with authentic Thai flavors. The Tom Yum had the perfect balance of spice and tang, the Phad Thai was flavorful and well-prepared, and the Green Curry was rich and aromatic. The Crab Omelette was a real highlight—light, fluffy, and generously filled. We ended on a sweet note with the Mango Sticky Rice, which was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Beyond the food, the service truly stood out. Every member of the staff was warm and professional, making us feel very welcome. A special mention goes to Ceejay, who was attentive, thoughtful, and made sure our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, Benjarong is a place I’d highly recommend for both the food and the excellent hospitality. Can’t wait to come back!

I've heard great things about this Thai restaurant in Manila. My husband and I tried their lunch menu, and I opted for Menu C while he chose Menu B. The spring rolls and shrimp cake with pomelo salad really stood out, and the combination of shrimp and pomelo was surprisingly tasty. While the Tom Yam, Pad Thai, and chicken green curry were good, the mango sticky rice and tapioca pearl pudding were exceptional desserts. Thai food is always a safe bet for dessert. The restaurant's luxurious ambiance, cleanliness, and friendly staff made it an ideal spot for a date night or to celebrate a special occasion.

I enjoyed the experience! The menu items are good for 1-2 people. I ordered the calamari and the spring rolls for appetizers. I had the Pad Thai, and the Green Chicken curry for my mains. I had the Rose Blossom as my drink which I highly recommend. Thanks to our servers Ken, Hazel and Ceejay for the great service!

Located inside the Dusit Thani Hotel, Benjarong Restaurant is an authentic Thai restaurant that you don't want to miss. I love the herbs and flavors, we were so satisfied.
Hwelen Y — Google review
Fans of Benjarong’s Thai cuisine (and holders of Dusit’s privilege card)—consider this your reminder: the two-year countdown has begun before the hotel is flattened flatter than a roti. So book those pad thai, curry, and mango sticky rice pilgrimages while the walls are still standing.
Bill Y — Google review
Firstly, please be advised that I am a long supporter of Dusit brand. However, am hesitant to write a positive comment on this restaurant. Ambiance: Not too fancy, but nicely decorated with Thai taste. Appropriate for both private and business gatherings. Service: Bad. 2 items out of 6 ordered weren’t served. 1 was even missing from the bill ;-) Food: Comes in a Philipino size, with a taste lacking the authenticity expected to the brand. Only recommended if your primary intention of visiting this place is to simply fill yourself up. It is well known that the quality of Thai food in Philippines is mediocre in general. Maybe I gave an excessive credit to Dusit brand by turning a blind eye to the key principle. While I would not say to “avoid” the place, let me just say don’t overrate the place if you know the real Thai food.
