Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Maspalomas

It’s always a pleasure to come across a unique dining experience while on holiday and restaurants don’t come much more unique than Samsara. On booking, we were asked if we wanted to eat on the terrace or inside. We chose the latter and on arrival slightly regretted our choice as we walked past the tables tucked away in the tropical garden adorned with statues and other religious iconography. Inside, however was no disappointment; every square inch packed with objects that appeared to represent the collection of a lifetime of travelling. The staff were welcoming, enthusiastic and knowledgeable; each wearing a unique necklace comprising of stones hand picked by the owner to represent the “aura” of each individual. Food was served on hugely oversized plates. The jus not just spread randomly but as individual works of art, the dessert artistry painted across two plates, representing a sugary Whirling Dervish. Had we ordered three desserts, we would have been presented with a triptych. The theatrics complemented some competent Asian fusion cooking which clearly keeps customers coming back for more.

Can not recommend enough. Everything was perfect from moment we entered. The staff are by far the best on the island. The food is full of flavour and the atmosphere is enchanting. I have been 4 times now and will always return.

Samsara is one of those rare finds that gets everything right. The service, the ambiance, the food - flawless. The waiters didn’t just take our order; they took the time to walk us through the menu, offer thoughtful suggestions, and make the whole experience feel personal. The food? Unbelievable. Every dish was layered with flavor and creativity, a true showcase of Asian fusion done right. The drinks were just as impressive balanced, beautiful, and clearly crafted with care. Tucked along the beach, Samsara has this calm, intimate energy that makes you want to linger a little longer after your meal. Between the setting, the service, and the food, it’s an easy 10/10 and absolutely worth the visit🔥

We were at Samsara again today, just like every year since our honeymoon in 2019, and once again we were not disappointed. The owner and his team spoiled us with delicious food, as always. Both the beautiful ambiance and the relaxed atmosphere created by the team make this place, for us, the perfect way to end the summer each year. If you’re looking for a peaceful spot during your holiday, with great food, good wine, and a team of attentive hosts, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back — no question about it. IT WAS AMAZING! The food was really good and tasty. Absolutely nothing to complain about there. The portions are quite big and there were four of us so i would recommend taking 2-3 starters and 2 mains or 2 starters and 2-3 mains for 4 people. Its better to come here with more people because then you can order more and share. The waiters are really nice and polite. The atmosphere is something that i’ve never seen before and it’s a very calming place. Overall a 10/10, would definitely return!

We had a lovely meal this evening, the food was delicious (Especially the duck main), but the staff were very attentive and knew exactly how to ensure we had a amazing evening. My wife had certain dietary requirements but they made sure to adapt the menu to suit, as opposed to to simply removing items from the menu. We are on holiday but we will certainly return.

There isn't enough stars to give this place. A real treat, the food was stunning - we got the pork with chocolate sauces and banana chutney as a main, I've never had anything like it. Service was excellent, the decor was so interesting - I loved the almost private dining style booths with our 3 small children on the terrace! The children's meals were a little expensive, but it was totally worth it, the presentation of their food even was so considered

Excellent find just 3 mins walk from the beach. Fantastic pizza, kind serving staff and quick service (whilst being freshly made). If you are bored of hotel food, this is the place to visit. A million times better than the tourist traps on the beach.

The best Italian food in Gran Canaria—maybe even the best I've ever had! Ate here 4 times in one week. The daily specials are always surprising and delicious. Don't miss the incredible hand-made bread. Every dish is a winner! The staff is so warm and patient, explaining every dish in detail.

A truly lovely dining experience! The restaurant has such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, made even better by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff who were happy to tell us all about what we were eating and wear it was from. The food was outstanding – authentic Italian flavors, beautifully presented, and of the highest quality. A perfect spot for anyone who appreciates delicious Italian cuisine served with genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!

Delicious Italian food at reasonable prices. I loved the ravioli with orange and walnut sauce. Cosy atmosphere, but not too crowded together. Some seating semi-outside facing onto small quiet road. Right next to Palm Beach hotel. Recommend booking in advance to ensure getting in, but we walked in for a table for 2 on a Sunday evening in November and only had to wait 5 minutes.

Lovely restaurant and very quiet at the time of visiting. I feel the menu could have been more varied however had a delicious meal.

It is hard to find good restaurant in Maspalomas, but this Italian restaurant with home made pasta and perfect Italian style… omg, you have to try! Everything is delicious 🥰

Food is really good although we would have liked to see more variety in the menu given the duration between our previous visits. Really odd to see a couple eating a pizza in the restaurant before the main service, I wouldn’t have minded but was not on the menu it looked really good. Service started well but was let down by a young lady who lacked any customer empathy. Atmosphere is only marked as poor due to the obnoxious behaviour of a group of 4 who were not controlled by the team. Disappointing overall but worthy of a visit just to try the wonderful creations. Aubergine crisps are a delight.

This restaurant is located just right next to the Gold Hotel. The atmosphere is relaxed. The concept is around smaller dishes meant for sharing. The menu covers all sorts of styles, from fish tartars and meat options to vegetarian plates and desserts. We ordered the bread with local spreads, ceviche, duck gyoza, and stuffed arepas. Presentation-wise, everything looked really appealing, but flavor-wise it didn’t quite match the high prices and our fine dining expectations. The ceviche lacked acidity and had too much mayo for my taste, and the arepas felt a bit too greasy. On the upside, the service was excellent, and the ingredients were clearly very good. Still, the overall food quality didn’t meet my expectations, so I found the value for money not good enough.

Excellent meal this evening. Thank you for looking after us. Food overall really really good. Chorizo buns a highlight. The pineapple dessert was good but not as great as the other fantastic things on the menu. Cucumber spritz delicious! Overall a really nice experience with very good waiting staff making sure we understood the menu - especially complicated by the several languages spoken by our group!

The food was really good… I highly recommend… mmm… hard to choose, I just recommend whatever from the menu, it was tasty and the amount of food is good enough. If I have to choose three dishes, it would be the Fried aubergine chips with palm honey and sesame seeds, the creamy rice with carabineer, scallops and plankton, and the mango caneloni for dessert. Important to highlight the service… they were really friendly. The only negative aspect, there were no vegetarian options. Still… will I come back? For sure.

We were recommended La Palmera Sur so many times during our stay we started to think it was being overhyped - lemme tell ya, it's not. Easily the best food and most efficient service we had on our whole trip, and a really nice relaxed atmosphere overall. Everyone raves about the honey aubergine crisps - they're great, but they were actually my least favourite dish of the night! So order whatever you want, you can't go wrong :) The only blip was the creme brûlée (more like a bowl of custard) but for starters and mains everything was flawless.

What a pleasant surprise! Our dinner at La Palmera Sur on September 20 was a very good experience from start to finish. The food was flavorfull. The creativity and originality in the presentation and interpretation of the dishes were truly impressive. We especially appreciated the shared plates concept, which allowed us to enjoy a wide variety of flavors and textures throughout the meal. The service was also perfectly aligned with the high quality of the food — attentive, friendly, and professional. Highly recommended

Not bad restaurant with excellent food. But the staff either needs to be fired or trained: the waiters barely speak English, don't know the menu and can't explain the ingredients, and have no understanding about the courses (they served my dish first, but only served my wife 10 minutes later, so I was forced to eat a cold one). They often forget requests (they never brought an ashtray despite asking three times, and we asked for the bill several times).

Unbelievable food, picturesque views, friendly charming waiters who provided best service I have had in years, cocktails were all brilliant, all of the food was very reasonably priced and was all of the highest quality, from the squid to grilled meat sharing platter that was all cooked to perfection, ribs with meat falling off the bone, steak that cut like butter and a sausage it squirted when you cut it. This has to be the best hidden gem in the canaries. 10/10 would come back

Very nice place just out of the busy tourist area, we went to celebrate my birthday, food very fresh and tasteful, top quality meat! The 2 lady’s in the front very professional and friendly! If you are in the area u must to go!

The best steak I've ever had!!!! We went to Abrasa yesterday to eat, I like to look up restaurants that are high in the ranking and Abrasa is very high in Gran Canaria. I'll be honest I had my doubts at first. At first the restaurant looks somewhat German or Austrian and has the interior of a classic eatery. When we entered, we also noticed the owner and owner walking around in a normal t-shirt (one with a Batman logo on it and the other with comic book texts). But this is exactly what makes the restaurant so nice. It doesn't want to exude luxury fancy dining but it just wants to be and serve great food. We hadn't booked so we had to sit inside. And yes it was hot. So my tip would be to book in advance so that you can look out over the panorama with mountains and get a breath of fresh air in your face. Then the appetizer. I had chicken sticks with Aioli and a baguette. Very tasty although I think it's a pity that the sandwiches are regular bake-off rolls and not homemade. But then... the main course (drum roll) I'm a big eater myself, and I'm always hesitant when I see 200 grams of steak on the menu. For that reason I asked for advice from the owner and she has recommended to me take the flat iron steak. (this one is actually for 2 people) My goodness, when that device arrived I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. What a huge thing I was served and I enjoyed it to the fullest. The taste, structure, way of baking and garnish was perfect. I've eaten quite a bit of cow in my whole life, but this was by far the tastiest piece of meat I've had in my life. So I can't give anything but 5 stars.

Perfect local restaurant. We had a wonderful evening here. Delicious home grilled beef and tapas. A true hidden gem.

Great meat, shared the flat iron steak with my girlfriend, good portion, cooked perfectly as requested, very little fat and I mean very little …service seemed a bit short staffed, things seem to take a little longer than usual, sometimes there would a considerable amount of time with both staff in the bar/kitchen …but they were cordial and very helpful would definitely come back and recommend it but I think the two servers could use a little help, you won’t regret it great place!

Absutely fantastic place. Food is up there with the masters, steaks grilled to perfection and fish delicate and juicy. Great selection of wines, although admittedly we didn't have any as we were severely hungover! Deserts didn't disappoint either, just the right balance of sweetness to finish it all off. Must also mention the super charming and charismatic owner who takes the time to greet and talk to his customers. Definitely sit on the terrace for those super scenic views!

Service is fast and friendly. Dinning area is comfortable although it faces the street with high traffic. Toilets are in the basement. Food tastes good but portions are really small. The menu is very diverse, from ceviche, local to wok. Parking can be an issue.

“Average experience – nothing special” The restaurant has decent food, but I honestly don’t understand the 4.4-star rating. The atmosphere was just okay, and the chairs weren’t very comfortable. The ceviche had a nice flavor, but the fried squid was disappointing. Overall, the food was average—nothing to rave about. It’s not necessarily a bad place, but also not great. More of a typical tourist spot than a hidden gem. Been there once, no need to go again.

Loved the decor, great service. Food is great and depending on what you order the portion size is good. The pork bao bun is a must!! Absolutely delicious. The fried tacos or rolls were okay but they do put meat on them. The creme brulee was ok.

Probably the best food I had on Canary islands. Vegan options are from wok with tofu. I had absolutely delicious pasta with tofu and very well done veggies in teriyaki sauce.

We ended up going here two times during our stay i Maspalomas. The food was excellent. We did safe with simple steak the first time (so simple steak, and they nailed it), then we came back to try the tapas. It was delicious. Pro tip: Book a table in advance, it's quite popular.

Very bland, tasteless food which was a shame since the menu looked good. Everything we had lacked seasoning which made us very sad. This was not a cheap meal but it tasted cheap. They apparently had specials but our waiter didn’t let us know about them, we learned about them when another waiter waited on the table next to us. Don’t believe the hype, if this place was good once, it isn’t nearly as good now. Skip this restaurant and try another, better option for tapas in Maspalomas.

I've always struggled with the value of tapas. That said I also like the variety of trying different dishes and when they are cooked with good quality ingredients like the dishes here are, they are worth it. Flavours were amazing.. very tasty dishes. Sangria was very good and presentation festive. Service was quick and efficient. We really enjoyed our experience here which is impressive since it was quite busy. Side note to the restaurant, when I searched Google Maps for Tapas restaurants in the area for some reason you don't appear?! Thought I'd share that as you might want to look into that.

Wapa Tapa offers ‘al fresco’ dining off a menu created by chef Adrian Leared. Formerly ran by Adrian and Carlos, it has this year been handed over to the Michaels. For the record, 2025 is our 11th year eating at this (still) fantastic tapas house - you are right to think we know this place well. Let’s start by welcoming the Michaels and Louisa to the team, as always everyone made us feel extremely welcome. Inevitably, when new management takes over, there will be changes. Suffice to say that we would not hesitate to recommend Wapa Tapa to any discerning gourmet visiting Yumbo (reservation is strongly advised), the food remains fantastic, the prices are within the range we have come to expect, so what’s not to like? Well, here’s what we did not like: 1) wet wipes - this is big no no for us, we enjoy our finger licking, but please it reminded us of KFC - do consider returning back to the old environment friendly hot water bowl 2) presentation used to be a little better, for example, the beef medallion was served with a grilled cherry tomato on top of a wooden board, now we get it on a pretty regular clay dish (pictured) 3) the Portuguese style cod croquetes were served very oily on two separate occasions - they are not being sufficiently drained, and in our opinion they could use a wedge of lemon And here is why we still think this is the best eatery (2025) in Yumbo: 1) while we do miss Carlos’ flare and flair (who wouldn’t!) the Michaels were outstanding hosts, leaving no stone unturned to accommodate our every request (I like my king prawns with more rock salt, no problem!) 2) Osni’s talent as a barista continues to grow and please us every year - this is where you want to go for a nice cocktail after a meal, fabulous sangria too 3) the place is bigger yet again - we enjoyed a wider selection of sitting places and the end of indoors dining - well done team, great work with the renovations 4) but of course, we come here first and foremost for the food. There have been minor changes to the menu (we do miss the cheese board trio selection in the cold tapas), but most changes are very welcome, particularly the original Italian ice cream trio as a dessert (yum) If you’re still reading this, here are our top 3 tapas in 2025 from Wapa Taoa: GOLD MEDAL: The Hake Fillet, remarkably well cooked (on at least 3 occasions) with a crispy skin, served with a simply divine smoky sauce (pictured). SILVER MEDAL: Grilled Acorn-fed Iberian Pork Presa, a very close contender for the first place, it is likely Adrian’s best creation, and deserves its place as the second best tapa (pictured) BRONZE MEDAL: Uruguayan Prime Beef Medallion, if you’re a meat lover this is gustative delight, tenderness heaven, served with mash and caramelised onions (pictured) HONOURABLE MENTION: King Prawns, for the more savvy Gran Canaria tourist, this is where culinary dark arts present you with the best prawn tapa in Gran Canaria (pictured) - we do want more rock salt on it though. Book, visit, enjoy - your taste buds will thank you.

Second visit during our holiday: two very memorable experiences! Fantastic food (!!!) and excellent service and staff! It was very apparent to us that these people put their heart and soul into the food and the overall experience. A bright jewel in the concrete crown that is Yumbo!

Best tapas restaurant we have been. Food, service, everything was perfect. The price was good for the quality and portion we got. Our waiter was very friendly and lovely. One of the best evening we have spent in a restaurant like this! Great job! 😇

Boss was very happy! Unfortunately pasta in lasagna was over boiled. We ate here three times and the food is delicious. Personal is very friendly. Many people forget that you pay not just for food but also for place. This restaurant has great view on ocean!!

We had 4 meals here during our stay at Lopesan costa Meloneras and we loved it every time ! We love authentic Italian food and we specially pizza, and they make really good pizza Romana. We also had pasta and seafood and everything was really good. Also great tiramisu and espresso.

This is the most expensive italian that we have been to on Gran Canaria, but the restaurant seems to put it self more on the high-end on the quality side. And our impression was just that. We had not reserved a table for 2, but luckily they had a table for us. Reservation seems to be recommended. I tried Pizza Diavola, and it was a good pizza. Very big in size. My girlfriend tried Pasta Carbonara and was very satisfied with the taste. They are quite expensive when it comes to soda. They charge almost 5 euros for the smallest cola bottle you can get (237ml), which is pretty crazy. The place is well worth a visit, if you feel your budget is up for it. The cost for 2 people with 1 cola each, 1 starter (4 bread with aioli), 1 pizza diavola and 1 pasta carbonara total at 60 euros.

I had a fantastic meal at this restaurant. The gnocchi allo speck were rich and full of flavor, and the meat cannelloni was perfectly cooked and delicious. The portions were generous and the service was friendly. A great spot for authentic Italian food—highly recommended!

We arrived as a group of 12 (including 6 children) and the restaurant was only half full. The waiter welcomed us and started to lead us to our table with the best intentions, until the manager stepped in. Suddenly, we were no longer welcome. We overheard their conversation, and it was clear they didn’t want us there because of the children. After reading more reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue. So if you’re planning to visit with a larger group or with kids, don’t bother coming here—you’re certainly not welcome.

Saw some reviews and we were really concerned, so we tried to get into Maximillians instead. It was fully booked but that turned out to be our advantage as we went to Grand Italia as planned. The service from start to finish was exceptional. The wine tasting, the pouring and constant top ups from our bottle, the food delivery, everything was great. We ordered Linguine Alfredo and the Amitriciana as well as the Rigatoni with chicken. Good was amazing with the parmesan crisp on top. Sometimes you have to take a gamble to make your own decision and ignore the reviews and certainly for us it paid off. Thanks Grand Italia, we will be back.

I don‘t understand any rating less than 4 stars. We are coming to Grande Italia since 8 years. Yes, they went up a little crazy with prices, especially compared with other places close by. However, in terms of service and quality- they will always deliver! We had a nice very fresh fish with vegetables from the oven and it was spot on. Thanks- see you next year

So firstly if you come to the fab restaurant you are in for a treat. We simply had the best meal of our holiday here, the food was simply amazing and the service was to match. The waiter was attentive and clearly passionate about giving you an amazing meal and an amazing time. The restaurant itself had a great vibe and was very clean. There is simply nothing we could be negative about the meal we had was sublime.

Excellent food and drink selection - one of our local host’s favorite restaurants. They change their menu regularly. Three days into this season’s offering and nailed it! Great ingredients, unique fusion, wow! Very nice staff!

Amazing food! We we're a bit afraid of not being able to find an authentic place admidst all tourist traps, but this place was amazing!! We had the Carpaccio as an appetizer, which was one of the best carpaccio I've ever had and the mains were also delicious. The price of the dishes was very decent, at least not much more then what you would be pay at the lesser places close to the beach. Really recommend it!⭐️

On holiday at a lovely resort but thought we would take a step off to try this place as the pictures made it look incredible ! It truly lived up to the expectations the food was incredible as well as the staff and a great wine list ! Also a big shoutout to Danielle (hopefully spelt and remembered right!) who was fantastic and a great energy to have serving us on the evening. We were also a group of 7 for reference.

The food presentation and quality is good at fine dining level. It’s like a bistro inside and smallish. Simple menu and drinks but that’s because the quality is good. Although the rib eye was a bit chewy which was surprising. Not a lot of atmosphere but the food made up for it.

Had a fantastic meal tonight at Lola with my wife and son, Fabrizio and the team were so welcoming. The food was fantastic my wife and I had the Fish and chips KFC style which was fantastic and my son had the ribeye steak. The desserts were delicious. Well worth it...

Wow! Just wow! Went here in 2023 and had to come back in 2024. The tastes of the food here are unreal! The chefs really know how to cook! The staff is kind, helpful and recommends great Wine for the food. Love the design and art! If we could wish for anything it would be a wider selection of beers. Just go here- you wont regret it!

Is this restaurant is absolutely great value. It is very high standard of food really fun and playful flavours. And great value. The lemon tart desert was the best meal I’ve ever had in my whole life. Totally recommend this place.

Wow! That was the common expression as we tried a variety of starters, mains and deserts. Had it not been for recommendation by my son, we probably would have never noticed this fabulous place. Worthy of a Michelin Star 🌟. Excellent service by the staff from start to finish. Very cozy terrace sitting. Delicious food, full of a combination of flavours tantalising your tongue. Highly recommend a visit. Dog friendly.

Fortunately we booked as I'd recommend you do so as it gets busy and not a huge amount of tables. The place is comfortable and well decorated, but no cooling which could be a problem on warmer nights. Food was fancy fine dining style which we were looking forward to as we were celebrating a special occassion. I'm glad we did the tasting menu since the food was amazing. Special mention for the desserts that were the hlighlight with amazing complimenting flavours. My favourite main dish was the beef rib as the meat was very tender. Staff were attentive and we were never left wanting. Food was served in good order/timing. One small improvement could be to mention what the food is when serving it just so you know. Overall a very good experience and we would love to return.

Really delicious truffle steak. It’s very well cooked and seasoned. The truffle potatoes are lovely. The staff are very friendly. Also have free aperitif in the beginning and free honey and rum shots in the end. Will definitely come back. Strongly recommend!

The food was excellent and each plate was beautifully presented. We choose the degustation menu and we were a bit surprised that both of us had to adjust to the dish they offered instead of the one which would have caused an allergy to only one of us. Also, as we took the wine package, a few more words about each wine and why it was selected for the respective dish would have been appreciated. All waiters should know how to pure wine professionally. Lastly, the two desert courses were served quite rushed and the bill came automatically at around 22h30 even though the closing time is 23h00.

A truly amazing experience here. The food was exceptional. I've not had such fantastic food for a very long time. The price, bearing in mind the high quality for and service was incredible reasonable. I can't recommend Calma Chicha more highly.

The food here is pretty good. We had various classic tapas dishes including goats cheese salad, Boquerones, tomato bread, pork with vegetables and Chistorra sausage. The service is friendly and quick.

The service here was great, very welcoming staff who were attentive. The music is a nice touch and the general vibe is great!! The food came in reasonable time considering it is all home made. i was totally blown away by the flavour and portion size, it was phenomenal!!! im shocked this place had so little tables because it was amazing! If you’re in the area and unsure i promise you this place is worth a visit!!!!

Best cocktails ever! The bartender is an award winner for cocktails and it shows. The White Scotland is to die for! The food (we had the tapas) didn't disappoint either. Highly recommend the sausages and the garlic prawns, but everything was good. Amazing service as well!

We tried the paella with seafood and shrimps with garlic. Both were very tasty. Paella for 2 people is a generous amount of food, so make sure you go on an empty stomach 😁

Great (mixed) paella! That has to be said first. The starters were great as well. The pork belly and the gamba al ajillo were delicious. Ordered a small bottle of semi sweet white wine. Did not expect much from it, but it was actually pretty good also! The service was excellent!

Great service the waiter was really friendly The atmosphere was lovely we sat in the sheltered outside area The food was absolutely amazing. I had the lambs leg it was beautiful cooked to perfection the meat came straight off the bone and melted in the mouth and the flavour of the lamb roasted in the rosemary and garlic were brilliant flavours. Definitely recommend.

When I'm on holidays I rarely return to the same place, but this restaurant deserved it. One of the best Seafood Paella I've ever had. I also tried grilled prawns which were fabulous, as well as the fish of the day in a marinara sauce. Good wine selection to top the food. It is on the pricey side, but well worth it if you are looking for quality food and excellent service.

Sorry but I've had to give this place 1 star solely based on the women's toilet. There was poo smeared on the inside and outside of the toilet bowl, as well as on the toilet roll sat on the dirty floor and the one sat on the toilet system. The toilet seat was completely off and lent against the wall. It was absolutely disgusting. I asked my partner how the men's was and he said that it was good ie. Clean enough. These toilets need to be checked periodically. Service was slow. The latte coffee was lukewarm and just tasted of milk, hardly any coffee added. The Americano was OK.

We dined here several evenibgs during our recent holiday. We kept returning for the food but the view of sunset from our table was stunning. The staff are friendly and efficient. I had the breast of chicken with Canarian potatoes on each occasion while my Wife thought the lamb chops were top class.

A wonderful restaurant right next to the beach! After spending some time by the sea, we were really hungry and decided to stop here for a meal. We ordered the Pizza Diavola and were pleasantly surprised when they brought us a very large pizza, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The crust was just the right balance of crispy and soft. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a lovely seaside vibe that makes it the perfect spot to take a break from the beach. The staff was welcoming and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Big thank you to the team ♥️

Reading recent reviews I can't believe people are reviewing the same place! We have eaten here 3 times now. Each time the staff have been very polite with a sense of humour. Food is gorgeous. Bruschetta one of the best I have ever tasted. Fresh bread piled high with tomatoes. I've had salmon too which was a huge piece with saffron sauce. Yesterday I had tagliatelle in a pesto sauce and asked for mushrooms to be added. So fresh and tasted amazing. Pudding was tiramsui which tasted out of this world! My other half had caprese salad. Beautifully presented and tasty. He also had spaghetti tagliatelle..again food didn't disappoint. Drinks of sangria with champagne really refreshing and grappa which needs to be slowly sipped. The ladies loos need a bit of tlc but that's the only thing that could be improved. To summarise, great food and drinks which offered value for money, welcoming staff and a wonderful view of the ocean to watch the sun set as we were dining.

Discovered this restaurant on a recent stay at The Lopesan del condo in Meloneras. Lovely food, great service with a really location right on the sea front.

What a delicious-looking meal! Here is a small review you can use. A fantastic meal with a great variety of flavors. The pizza was a classic Margherita, with a perfectly golden crust, fresh mozzarella, ripe cherry tomatoes, and aromatic basil. The pasta was a rich, pesto-based dish with fresh noodles that had a wonderful bite. The potatoes in a spicy red sauce were a tasty side, and the fish, bathed in a vibrant yellow sauce, was a definite highlight. A delicious and satisfying dinner!

Fantastic hidden gem of a place. Nice relaxed atmosphere, staff pleasant, friendly and attentive. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. View out to ocean from table and sunset and calming sound of waves was breathtaking. Hope to visit again before end of holidays.

Me and my wife had a great time there. It is rated as no. 2 restaurant in Maspalomas on Tripadvisor. Not our experience. Lola is far better f.eks. But food was good anf decent wines.

The food here is incredible, hubby and I shared the set menu and it was delicious - €100 for a bottle of wine about four starters followed by Iberian sirloin and a dessert. We started the evening with two delicious cocktails. I wouldn't rate the drag show and probably wouldn't pay for that again. But highly recommend this place

Definitely one of the better food spots we went to in Maspalomas, great menu with some unusual options. Cocktails were 10/10, and super fun presentation. The staff were lovely, and the magician was excellent!

Went here for my girlfriend’s birthday and it was a lovely experience! Our waiter, José, was amazing—he set up candles and rose petals which made the evening feel really special. We had the ribs, which were super tasty, and the cocktails were absolutely top-notch. Great vibe and service all around. Highly recommend!

We had a two-person multi-course dinner booked here. Unfortunately during the second starter, my partner suddenly felt unwell and had to leave to be sick in the restroom. We informed the staff that we wouldn’t be able to continue the meal, even though the next courses were probably already being prepared. Despite the disruption, the staff were incredibly understanding and kind. They only charged us for the starters and the bottle of wine, and even packed up the dishes and wine for us to take home! We really appreciated their thoughtful handling of the situation it made a difficult moment feel less sad and awkward. The restaurant looks so pretty and the food we were able to try was really tasty. We hope to be back another time to enjoy the full experience. The atmosphere of the place is really cool and the music is the perfect volume, just so the other tables can’t really hear each other. The service was really good and we never had to wait on an waitress. For starter I got the Herrera cheese it had a very interesting flavor but I was really good. My main course was the rips. They was really tender and I could rip the meat of with a fork. I ate the damn cookie for dessert. It tasted a bit like gingerbread. Overall a very underrated restaurant. If you don’t like some different food items you normally eat you should pick another restaurant.

After coming here in may we had an incredible experience, they had a magician coming round the tables then then show fantastic, then we came last night nobody to meet you we had to go in hand find someone then the first thing he said was there is a €10 charge per person for the show, not hello how are you, no magician this time. then after sitting there for 2 1/2 hours we asked when's the show? Twice told in 5 mins We won't be coming back again the whole concept has gone, poor service Dull atmosphere

Beautiful steak restaurant where we had a chatiubriand. It was delicious with a selection of 4 sauces. It was supposed to be medium but was slightly under but still edible so bare that in mind if you don't like rare steak!

Please, please, please try this hidden gem. Whilst the location is not amazing and it is in a very quiet shopping mall the food was absolutely fantastic. We went to a family of three and we cleared our plates. I opted for a meat stone board where you cook the meat yourself. This was a fantastic experience which I’ve never encountered before. The daughter had spaghetti Bolognese which she said was one of her favourites and the wife had pasta she loved it.

Been here twice in three days! Shared the bruschetta and the garlic prawns to start. Had the ‘onion lovers’ steak each time which was incredible. Cooked medium rare as requested and beautiful Gorgonzola sauce. Staff attentive and friendly. Would recommend

We came to the Cita Centre and chose here for dinner. The pizza was absolutely delicious and one of the best Diavola pizzas I’ve ever tasted. It was packed with flavour with plenty of toppings though I personally could have had more peppers for more heat. The dessert was also very good, as was my Mojito. I’ve given less stars for service as the man who greeted us did not show us to our table, just gestured to where we should sit. Any time I’ve eaten anywhere in Gran Canaria over my two week holiday, I’ve been asked what language then the correct page found on the menu, then the menu handed to me. This waiter did neither, just handed us the menus which we then riffled through the many pages to find the English menu. Not a huge issue, just different to what I’ve experienced everywhere else. Our female waitress was very nice and attentive. I would definitely return and have one of the pasta dishes next time as the ones they served to other customers looked delicious. A very nice, reasonably priced restaurant with great food.

Very impressed by the price-quality balance! Big portions with amazing quality for only 10-20 euros. Some of the best schnitzels we’ve ever had. Great pizzas, the pasta was also good! Friendly staff that works fast, calmly and efficiently. Music isn’t too loud, there’s a calm and cozy, yet luxurious atmosphere. Absolutely recommend!!

Such a big thank I should appreciate to this restaurant since they can arrange the surprise what I already told them fot my partner’s birthday. They arranged the table with birthday wishes and welcome champagne. The food was amazing and the service is high to the top. The waitress was really nice and always took care of us and pouring the wine to our glasses. In the end, we ordered a dessert and they put such a candle to surprise my partner. I highly recommend this restaurant, and if you want to arrange such birthday party, do not hesitate to ask them. They will do it perfectly. I

Wanted to try this place because they offered vega(n) options for their whole menu (finally something other than a cheese sandwich!) Was really good - beautiful (and big!) cocktails, tasty desserts. I had the vega nachos (nicely presented!) and my partner had the Mexican burger. My only recommendation is not to order everything right away. The food is ready really fast, and my partner's burger came out almost right away - followed shortly by our nachos and only 5 minutes later our drinks. So do not order your drinks and food at the same time. Otherwise, it was kind of nice having a dinner that doesn't last 4 hours. Definitely Good Vibes in the place!

Overall oke restaurant. The food was a bit dissapointing after reading the review. There is not a lot of choise in terms of food, so we expected that what they have would be good. The chicken was a bit dry, I would not order either the chicken burger or the chicken stripes. The personnell was very friendly with good service!

As a solo traveler, I had a really nice time here. Atmosphere was great, and loved the music choice too, R&B vibes. Food was incredible, and is definitely worth a trip. Looked like they did some really cool cocktails as well!

I have coeliac disease so I asked to be talked through the menu upon arrival. I felt very reassured as I was told what I could and couldn’t eat, and what measures would be taken to avoid cross contamination (for example I couldn’t have the chips as they share the oil). Would definitely recommend!!! I went for the crispy Mexican tacos with beef.

Very cute place with a separate vegan menu with plenty of options. We had tacos with nachos and guacamole and bagel with scrambled tofu and lots of carrot "bacon". The homemade lemonade was absolutely delicious 😋

We had a fantastic lunch at B2 Burger in Maspalomas! I went with my wife and two children, and everyone left happy and full. I had a delicious beef burger—juicy, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. My wife went for the chicken burger, which she loved, and the kids really enjoyed their chicken and chips. Great quality food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended for families looking for a tasty and satisfying meal!

Easily the best burger in Gran Can. Partner and I came to this unassuming restaurant for lunch. The service was welcoming and the burgers were outstanding. High quality ingredients cooked perfectly (to your liking) partner had the smokey bacon burger and I had the smash. Both good but smash was the favourite! Burgers come with rustic fries, ordered an additional portion as we were hungry. Not only does this place offer great food but it also has a wonderful selection of beers and wine. We will return here for sure. If you fancy a burger, this is the place!

This place is selling pork as beef. I asked the waiter if the burger patty was made only with beef or if it also contained pork. He checked with the cook and assured me it was just beef. I also asked if they could leave off the bacon, and he said yes. When the burger arrived, it still had bacon on it. After I told the waiter again that I didn’t want bacon, he brought the same burger back after about 30 seconds just with the bacon picked off. I didn’t accept that. Only then did they make a completely new burger for me. When I finally took a bite of the new burger, it was obvious the patty contained pork I was disgusted….A man, another guest at the restaurant, kindly asked me why I wasn’t eating. I stayed polite and just told him I was full, not wanting to damage the restaurant’s reputation. But honestly, this is completely unacceptable… 💔

I had come here a few years ago and I remember, that even though it was not in a very lovely place the food was outstanding - over average. However, to my disappointment, this time it was very average, it was lucking the love, a bit of a kick of flavor. The dishes were bland to my liking as I expect quite a lot from Italian food - freshness, amazingness in simplicity and balance of flavors. Dont get me wrong - the service was good, the food was eatable, but not something I would go back to. Thank you for the nice evening, but I hope to come back in the future and get wowed as I once were.

We had a delicious meal here while staying in Maspalomas. We started with the burrata and focaccia which was wonderful, delicious pasta entrees and desserts. Everything was very well prepared and executed. We will return on our next visit. Don’t let the location deter you, it’s upstairs in a mall in a corner location, refer to their website for the final location details, it took us some effort to find but we were glad that were persistent it was very much worth it, and had we checked their site for exact location vs using google maps it would have been much easier for us.

As an Italian, I’m picky about Italian food. The location is tricky to find, and the place feels more like a corridor than a restaurant—photos give a better impression than reality. The food is fine, but the carbonara and cacio e pepe lacked the creaminess they should have. Service was quick, if a bit unusual. For the price, I expected more. Not a bad spot, but not one I’d return to.

I always enjoy eating here! The starters are delicious; I recommend the croquettes and burratas. The cheese and meat board changes, but it's always good. The staff can suggest the right wines for your dish or taste. The pastas are tasty, and you should really try their daily specials. The truffle carbonara is always great, the lobster ravioli is amazing, and my favourite is the beef cheek ragout pasta (not always available). If you still have room, try the panna cotta or cannoli for dessert.

A very very nice experience. The restaurant is located on the upper level inside the Cita Shopping Center. The service was splendid, the food top notch and authentic. And on top of that, the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this hidden gem. Compliments to the chef and waiter!

You won't find anywhere else in Gran Canaria, such an excuisit dinner for two for such a good price. We ordered the tasting menu and the both of us had a perculiar dietary requirement that was no sheep or goat. The waitress was very understanding and conveyed the message to the chef who reinvented some of his master dishes to our delight. The variety of starters was a pleasant surprise, lovely to taste and a pleasure to look at. Our waitress was very professional in presenting all the dishes in interesting detail. The freshly home made pasta was perfectly al dente. So good. So delicious. By the time to the dessert I was already full with the plentiful amount of food, but I still found room to devour the best home made panna cotta I've ever had. Beautiful, creamy and light. If I wasn't just visiting the area this would definitely be my regular. Well deserved 5*.

You have to eat here! Yes, it is inside of a mall, but the decorations, food, and atmosphere are incredible. We got the tasting menu which included many appetizers, two plates of fresh pasta, and two desserts. So much food! The food was absolutely amazing and the man who was our waiter was very attentive and even customized one of the pasta dishes to include a type of pasta we like. Without a doubt the best Italian food I’ve had on Gran Canaria (even including Las Palmas).

Turkey with Salad and Rice was great, meat is very tasty and grilled on charcoals i guess. Quite long time from order to serving but was worth the wait. Datiles con Bacon and Ceasar's Salad as a starter were good too. Its rare to find rwstaurants that serve good salads on gran canaria but this place is doing a great job, also side salad to the main dishes were good 👍

Great discovery. Book a table in advance. Awesome Uruguayan restaurant in San Fernando, in the middle but conveniently around the corner. Grilled cheeses, dates grilled in bacon wrap and blood sausage. Just the perfect appetizer. The main course is entrecôte house style. Simply excellent. Wine recommended as a great choice. The taste came along and stuck in my mind. A little grinding for serving and only the sky is the limit. I highly recommend. Slightly different, lots of locals, which is a sign of good food. Came here because of good Tripadvisor reviews. Its a Urugvaian restaurant and all the staff is really very kind and smiling. However, we waited almost an hour for our dinner. Steaks were good, but not exceptional, while the chicken dish Pamplona was not, it was tasteless. Bad surprise was after the meal when they offered desserts. I asked if they were on the house and the waitress confirmed. At last, when paying they charged them 22 euros which I find very unprofessional and misleading. Didnt want to argue, I paid but left feeling cheated.

The food was just amazing and I do recommend this place to everybody! Friendly staff and helpful when we asked questions about the menu. The meat was perfectly cooked and the combination of tastes was on point!

5 stars is the right rating here. Very friendly service and great ice cream. And the prices are more than fair. Cheaper than some industrial made ice cream at a shop. After two years, we're here again and the quality is still the same. Even for a family with a lot of kids it's affordable. You get 2 scoops for 2 Euro. Dark chocolate is especially recommended.

On the last night of our vacation, we decided to try 56° Restaurant & Grill. My only regret is that we didn't fint it sooner. The food was excellent. The servings were the perfect size, so we could also fit dessert. Amazing service! Thank you for giving us a great dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This shopping mall would make one think the food is like the shops. But this restaurant is better than meets the eye. The two ladies (one is named Kati) are most wonderful. So friendly and good at what they do. The food was perfect. We had two steaks, everything was tasteful. The meat, the salad, the sauce and the potatoes. The chef came to every table to ask if everything was ok. Apparently he’s from Uruguay … so that’s why we got good meat ;) I would recommend eating here. I don’t have pictures because we ate all!

The most amazing meal I have ever had. I looked at reviews of all the restaurants near here, and it is no surprise this is the highest rated. Even the pint of San Miguel was amazing! Five stars.

I picked this restaurant on a whim due to the good ratings and was quite happy to get a table without prior reservation. I ordered a 200g filet steak medium rare and Canarian potatoes ("patatas arrugadas") as side dish. It took the (medium friendly) waitress 20 min to come and take the order and I had to wait nearly half an hour for the food (in the meantime my chilled rose wine was warm). The piece of meat delivered was in my opinion not a filet, a third of it was quite sinewy and fat and almost well done. The steak obviously was also not given the appropriate resting time as there was quite a lot of meat juice when I cut it and even the medium rare part was a bit chewey. The so-called Canarian potatoes tasted like normal potatoes cooked with the skin on and reheated afterwards - not at all like the very delicicious original Canarian speciality. Sorry, I won't come back.

A place worthy of its high rating. I started out with a tapas appetiser which had a great composition of flavours. For the main course 200gr beef filet steak medium to well done, with a side of gratin potatoes and pepper sauce. The steak was done exactly to my liking and with the assortment of steamed vegetables on the side made for a wonderful meal. I wasn’t sure what side I wanted with along the main, but the waiter recommended the gratin potatoes which was a success. For dessert I had a salty caramel mousse topped with sweet chocolate sauce with dollops of salty caramel spread around. The meringue made it a great combination of salty and sweet, it is a dessert of my highest recommendation. With the combination of a helpful and accommodating waiter and a masterful chef I rate this place 5/5.

Very popular restaurant among locals and tourists in the San Agustin shopping center. Very good food and service. We had grilled vegetables, tacos and chicken on risotto.

If you want quality food, this is the right place to find it. We came here because we had a special event that we wanted to enjoy with good food and atmosphere. The food was beautifully presented and tasted great. I had a fillet steak that was perfectly seasoned and juicy. The service was good. Everything was unique. I would definitely recommend coming here to eat.

Wales UK here. Golf fanatic but still learning. I've played many UK courses but this place is special. The 400+ yds tees are a drivers dream! This spanish grass is course and really bouncy to touch. The greens are simply astounding and impeccable throughout. My only recommendation would be to have clearer signs to where to go to each next tee box. The 7th and 12th caught me out 1st time so I missed a lot out. YOU NEED 3HRS minimum on this beast and it closes at 8pm sharp. Highly recommended

Very disappointing course. Flat with no interesting features until the water on the last few holes. Meloneras golf is a much more interesting course with great views over the coast and many undulating holes.

I wasn’t sure about this one but on reflection I’ve changed my mind ,, while the other courses are spectacular, this one is a golfers golf course, big greens , good solid course where you have to play well ,, pretty flat but tree lined with beautiful palms and very well designed plus it’s in great condition,, My only little comment is they could have the grass range in place but prefer the mats ,, but I guess because they allow the kids to use on that it’s a safety precaution.. Gave Maspolomas 5 star rating for this particular reason,, was just practicing and I noticed maybe 20 juniors turn up ,, all got ready, boys and girls mixed and headed out in 4 balls each group with a ref in a buggy ,, all dressed for golf , shaking hands , hats off and applauding shots ,, was a joy to see !!! Well done Maspolomas Golf!!! Rafa Cabrera Bello runs a junior scheme on the island and is great to the kids .. Again great golf , good practice facilities,, great food and staff

Really liked the golf course. It was just unfortunate we got rained off afterv8 holes. The staff did offer a free game but we was going home the next day so couldn't. Staff really friendly and course well looked after

Brilliant afternoon, great food good drinks decent driving range awesome Chipping and putting green. And the course is challenging enough for mid to high handicappers, not the most exciting course but very enjoyable the greens were kept very well along with the bunkers I tee'd off about 3pm and the pace was good

We had a fabulous time here. The pro shop staff are unbelievably friendly. The food is so rich and lovely and the course is beautiful. It’s a flat course so it’s not tiring to walk if you don’t have a buggy and it’s sand based so doesn’t get soggy in the rain. Greens are much more lush than the fairway. Putting green is huge and chipping area is fantastic. Range is also good but you can’t use driver it’s too short. Overall what a fantastic day here. Great golf.

I came across this restaurant as part of staying at Vital Suites! It’s definitely a hidden gem. Delighted with the experience: friendly/attentive staff, quality food and an individual remote control to change the ambiance at your table. I would highly recommend this place.

Really good experience overall. The tasting menu with wine pairing is worth and excellent. The deserts were a slight disappointment as we felt they didn't maintain the same high standard opposed to the other dishes served but still nice. Every dish and drink had their explanation of origin and ingredients which made the experience very enjoyable too. The team is very professional and the service was excellent. Amazing! We managed to book a table at Umiaya last minute and it was by far the best dining experience in Gran Canaria! The food and service are worthy of at least one Michelin star. Tasting menu was delicious, creative and cleverly composed using an assortment of local ingredients. The tuna and steak tartares were out of this world. Fantastic wine list and desserts - highest recommendation!

A lovely place with excellent food and an incredibly warm and friendly team. I highly recommend trying the variety of desserts- they are unbelievable good and freshly made. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but totally worth it.

Great place with awesome food. We highly recommend the Calma's special, it's so delicious and freshly made. The people working here are so friendly and service is very quick. It can get a bit noisy if the place is busy but other than that, great place. We will definately come back.

1/2 I have to update my review after the last visit August 25. Things have changed and I never thought my favourite café could GET EVEN BETTER!!! I am of course talking about my new obsession VEGAN WAFFLES with fruit and agave syrup. Light and fluffy loaded with fresh fresh fruit. I had the delicious tofu scramble on toast and the spinach smoothie himself had a mango smoothie the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. I remember the look on his face with the first bite, the look you get when you are eating the freshest of ingredients. Then I ordered the vegan waffles to be honest I was thinking I wouldn't be able to finish it... Until I tasted them. It was almost a religious experience I insisted himself try them too and he totally agreed with me. They lasted about 90sec, the texture of the waffle is perfect crispy, fluffy and not overly sweet and the fresh fruit just topped it off and brought it all together. I love this place and there's a couple of new staff members who just "fit in" like they've always been there. Unfortunately I don't remember their names but the service was excellent, friendly and not intrusive in any way. I have to admit my bias here, we've been visiting Calma Café for a few years now. I've travelled a bit and this is in the top 5 of my friendliest and professionally run establishment. Great staff, great ethos and great value for money. You will be pressed to find better value in Maspalomas. On a side note the café closes at 14.00 not 16.00 as was the case before. I had the avocado and quinoa salad and a side of roasted garlic potatoes. The dip with the potatoes wasn't vegan so I asked for a small side of hummus, the best hummus I've eaten and I've eaten a lot of it 😄. The vibe is very relaxed, the service is excellent, the cafe is small with outdoor seating open from 09.00-16.00 If you're looking for a good value breakfast/lunch with good coffee this place is for you. So do you and your taste buds a huge flavour and go here. I ate everything, I was almost halfway through when I took the picture, but I didn't think you guys would like to see my empty bowls 😉 GO TO EAT HERE ASAP

This restaurant specialises in meat grilled over a real fire, no fish and limited vegetarian options. So if you don't like meat this is not for you Opens weekends and fiestas only and you need to check if that includes Friday night. Highly recommend booking. The venue is basic but they have recently replaced all the tables and chairs and spring cleaned. Good food, reasonably priced, friendly staff and good service.

Only open Fri to Sun you have to book. Freindly service and big portions. Takje half portion starters of you are having one

This is the go to place for vegans 🌱 in the Southern part of the island. All their dishes are delicious and made with plant love 💚. Just had a Beyond salad today and fried tofu and for desert the happy balls, yummy 😋 Their kombucha in all flavors also is amazingly good ! P.S. the pictures do not show what I've had today. For some reason my phone did not save them. These are from a previous visit.

Vegan place in a high end food court on the rooftop of a mall. Terrace is nice and outdoor. The food was ok and prices slightly higher than average canarian prices but still ok. I had hopes for a better guacamole sauce with the burger and there were not so many baked potatoes, but overall good experience.

I've never seen before a combination of vegan food that is also healthy and tasty. Fresh ingredients from local farms. Dishes are prepared at the moment and cooked in compliance with healthy principles. Selection of organic wines & craft beers available. Home-made smoothies and desserts. I'd also suggest organic kombucha! Owners are friendly and smiling, because also the mood is part of the meal experience! If you care about you and the environment, you need to visit this place

We have been there twice - because it was just so delicious! The taste of every dish is so spectacular and with the best ingredients. A lot of different plates, everyone can find something. Also the desserts are very nice. Try it out!!!

Delicious food for everybody. We are no vegetarians but open for all new experiences. After an advice of our friends we tried the location ... and .. are overwhelmed. Owner (trained food expert) in the kitchen, all food fresh and unbelievably good. Give it a try you will definitely love it. Special location at the food court of Holiday world (first floor). 👍🏾

Terrible food, intrusive staff, don't even think about it. We ordered 2 baguettes to go for 8 euros. We were sat down by a table and waited for over 20 min. The staff members asked if we wanted drinks 3 times, all though we told while ordering we just want to grab the food and go. Finally when the baguettes arrived, the bread was boring and dry, the sausage out of a can with absolutely no taste and the mayonnaise not evenly distributed on the bread surfaces. If I had a lazy day at home I would have made a better sandwich.

Extremely touristy place, could look better, but I love the food here. We ate here almost every day for about two weeks :D The service was too pushy for my taste, but we Czechs are pretty conservative.

Sign outside shows deals that are far better then the menu prices so ordered off the sign the owner then mixed up my order completely and they dont inc any drink with the breakfast and a coke canwill cost 3euro and sparkling water was around the 2.50euro.. Basic breakfast with very cheap hot dog style sausage. Location and the other staff apart from the owner seemed genuine only reason for 2 stars

Gorgeous food and fabulous staff

We made a sun bed reservation and had our lunch there. Diego provided excellent service. He was keeping an eye on us to see if we needed anything. Made great cocktail and food suggestions. Friendly and nice conversation. The sun bed itself was very comfortable. I really liked having a safety box and drawer to store our items. Quiet and felt private.

This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere—lively and buzzing, yet still easy to hold a conversation across the table. The red tuna tacos were absolutely incredible, hands down the highlight of the evening. My girlfriend and I were genuinely speechless at how good they were. We also had the beef and mushroom paella, which was delicious and served in a very generous portion. Alejandro kindly offered to pack up the leftovers for us, which we thought was a really thoughtful touch. Service was excellent throughout. Alejandro was fantastic topping up our wine whenever he noticed our glasses were low and always cheerful doing so.

OMG. 1st the service was impeccable. The reception took a little bit but common, nothing too unusual and no one here was in a hurry. The guy helping our table, Alejandro, was attentive, funny, knew about everything we needed to know - for example: recommending the local fish. We got the vegetarian Paella and my girlfriend got a fish: all incredible! The patatas and cebolla were nice too. The wines are amazing, as expected, but the desert was REMARKABLE like we will never forget! Delicious is not enough to describe. In three people we got 2x entries + 3x main dishes + 2x deserts + 2 wines, one drink and one big water = 169€ Thank you for all! :)

Best regular family restaurant among the nearby coast. Portion is large. Sangria is the best. We went 3 times. Service is also friendly and nice. But the bar's sound was too loud, the ordering guy and me we couldn't hear each other.

Visited El Senador during our holiday in Gran Canaria with high expectations based on previous reviews, but unfortunately left quite disappointed with what should have been an authentic Spanish dining experience. The Good: The Iberico ham slices and croquettes were genuinely excellent - clearly quality ingredients prepared well and full of flavour. These starters showed real promise for what was to come. The Disappointing: The main event, the "Gentleman's Paella," was sadly bland and underwhelming. For a dish that should showcase the restaurant's Spanish heritage, it lacked seasoning, had minimal seafood (very few prawns and fish), and frankly tasted like it needed another chef's touch. We barely ate half of it. The red wine service was particularly puzzling - served ice cold with condensation running down the glasses. Any wine enthusiast knows red wine should be served at room temperature, not chilled like a white wine. This felt like a basic service error at a restaurant positioning itself as traditional Spanish cuisine. Poor Service Recovery: When the waiter asked about our meal and offered to box the substantial leftovers, I explained our concerns about both the paella quality and wine temperature. Rather than attempting to address the issues or offer any solution, he simply moved on without acknowledgment. For visitors seeking an authentic taste of Spanish culture and cuisine, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. The potential is clearly there given the quality starters, but the execution on the main course and basic service standards fell well short of expectations.

This place is beautiful.. came here for the first time in June and back here again now. Beautiful setting right by the beach and the lighthouse at meloneras. Nice chilled vibes, great drinks and music to watch the world go by. Highly recommend this place... Our go to when in gran canaria ❤️

Right on the beach, this is a fabulous stop off for a bite and a drink. They have a canopy covering most of the tables, but a table on the edge of the seating area gets full sun. Lovely music and just a great atmosphere. The food is tremendous, I ate the sardines a few times, €15 for a good plate full.

Beautiful place, however was made to wait an age for just a couple of drinks while the staff all messed about with each other. Then took an age to get a simple bill paid, while one staff was worked while three sat there eating. A nice place, poor organisation and no discipline. Would not go back. Shame.

Probably the best place to go eat if you are at Playa de las Burras. We tried the fresh fish of the day, octopus and fried sardines and it was all really delicious. Pizza was nice and crispy and the service was really fast and polite. We also recommend you try baraquito, it was awesome! The prices are also very reasonable.

I make sure to visit this spot every year while on vacation in playa de ingles....sometimes just for beers/cocktails and snacks. Great location in the sand with friendly staff and perfect views. Yes, sometimes there is a wait to sit or even for the food, but well worth it...enjoy the location and a beer or two. Try the potatoes canarian, small green peppers, garlic shrimp or the pizza. There is a small bathroom as well.

It is a small restaurant and the setting is quite basic. However, the huge tasty meals, super friendly service and great prices make this place a 5 star hit. Definitely worth visiting. I had a schnitzel and it was perfect.

If you're looking for German food, this is the place to go. We loved that it had veganized options of traditional German food, such as Kohlroulade and Gulasch. Staff is very nice too.

Really great restaurant, with a warm atmosphere. This was the first time I’ve eaten German food so the waitress recommended schnitzel with a red pepper sauce. Absolutely delicious, super friendly service from Kasha who was patient and helpful with my choice. We ate in a number of restaurants here in Playa del Ingles and this was the best by far. Biggest disappointment was not getting back there.

This place has a full vegan menu, including vegan desserts with plenty of gluten free options. Serves meat too. Service is very nice and helpful and they make the best sagria in town, nice cocktail menu too, great value for money. I strongly recomend this place.

Wow wow wow!!! The Chuleton dry age was so supreme!! Couldn’t ask for more perfection. Asked for rare - got rare, which is quite unusual! Garnish was excellent competent to meat. We had great red wine recommended by waiter. You like meat? Go here!!

Really beautiful restaurant. The mains were lovely, no complaints. However, I ordered the chocolate pudding for desert and was not impressed. The image advertised is far from what you get given. Firstly, when it arrived it was still frozen (it had come straight out of the freezer!), I couldn’t even get my teaspoon into it. After informing someone I was told that they’d put it in the microwave, with no apology. When I got my (slightly) edible warm pudding, not only was it stuck to the outside packaging, but it was all like chocolate sludge. Food was nice but the desert was a real letdown, would’ve been nice to receive an apology or for it to have been comped from the bill.

A beautiful restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. We were sat outside, but could still hear the piano music being played from within. The staff were very helpful, and identified a good number of gluten free options on the menu. Dishes ordered: 2x Salmon (one with chips, and a side of mushroom sauce and one with canary potatoes) with a shared side of the roasted vegetables (please note - that it is worth ordering a side with this dish as it doesn't come with vegetables and the side salad is small).

Bruschetta was made vegan as it originally comes with cheese and arugula. They could have served the toasted bread with tomato and arugula. Vegan burger bun is so dry and looks sad in the photo. The beyond meat burger was alright. The poke bowl was missing some blueberries as mentioned in the menu. I don’t like it when there’s a missing item on the food I order. Bowl is tiny and looks like it’s just good as a side dish. The waiter was kind enough to give us 20% discount due to missing blueberries! There was live music which was really good!

Amazing experience. We arrived here and wanted to eat something Quick. Pap’s looked like a Nice place with good quality meat. The waiters and service was amazing and so was the food. So we decided to come again and they still knew us, we didn’t make a reservation but they still let us in. A big thumbs up to the T-Bone it’s the best steak we’ve ever eaten. So overall very fun and kind service and delicious food👍🏻

Place is nice and have a modern design, clean and friendly service. But the quality of the beef, in our case the sirloin and ribeye, was very poor. The steaks were not at all tender enough as would would expect from a place like this. The side dish, in our case canaria potatoes and fries, were as well very poor. Dried potatoes and soaky fries. Would not eat here again.

We have been a few times at Papi’s yet. Filet Steaks were great/price very good. Burger good! Bowl - okay - the avocado was a bit too ready. However the drinks, cafe and dessert great again!

Gorbea Restaurant Chill Out is such a gem in San Agustín. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, with the most beautiful views that make dining here feel really special. The food is delicious, full of flavor and beautifully presented, and the staff make you feel so welcome from start to finish. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy great food, and take in the amazing surroundings. A truly unforgettable experience.I can’t wait to come back!

The restaurant and the view are amazing. The wine suggestion was very good as well as the iberico ham as a starter. The tenderloin meat was very good but the sauce was without much taste and the vegetables were overcooked and had lost all color, probably because of reheating or keeping warm over some amount of time. The fish with a pink pepper sauce and vegetables were all not seasoned and had not much taste. The vegetables were overcooked and had a grey color to them. The sauce was just not enjoyable.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The star would go towards the view as that is the only good thing about the place. As for the food - the most bland meal I have ever eaten. I have had better frozen meals. However, I was still prepared to pay full price. That is until the tall skinny waitress with glasses asked me how the food was - I gave her my honest opinion and she hit the roof. She proceeded to slam plates, doors, and talk about me in Spanish to other customers. This is absolutely disgraceful service. It was already slow and lacking attentiveness. But this lady needs her job revoked - she has serious anger issues to the point even the manager could not control her. I’m disgusted. Do not waste your time going.

We had a very nice evening in Gorbea. The food was delicious, the service by Judit, Andrea and Adrian super friendly and very attentive. The location on top of the Gloria Palace Hotel is very nice and offers great views. Highly recommend!

we’ve come up here for some chill time away from the hustle of the pool downstairs and it is beautiful. the lovely waitress, Isabel, made the most GORGEOUS tasting cocktails for us, has made us feel welcomed and relaxed, and her kindness is positively overwhelming. the pool up here is so warm and relaxing, a very intimate experience for people wanting some quiet time. highly recommend to anyone in the area, and a huge thank you to Isabel for being a star 🌟

We had cocktails and fillet steaks here 2 years ago for my husbands birthday. It was the best steak I have even eaten. Today we returned wondering if we had built it up in our heads, but I am pleased to say ot was just as good as we remembered. Staff and ambiance are great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We were in a group of four, we never booked but were quickly seated even though they were busy. We were treated to the most amazing food and service. The Manhattan Steak and Grilled Chicken were absolutely delicious. I cannot speak highly enough of the food quality. I would highly recommend and definitely return the next time i visit Gran Canaria.

Service was outstanding and staff were extremely helpful as my girlfriend is coeliac so needs gluten free options, the steaks were beautifully cooked, recommend the fillet. Well definitely be returning to try one of their burgers as looked delicious

After seeing countless reviews of this restaurant, we decided to book a reservation here and try it out. We weren’t very impressed at all. The starters were ok, but the steak we ordered (that we asked to be medium) came nearly raw and even after them cooking it again it still wasn’t medium. This was meant to be one of the best places for steaks too. Prices were very expensive as well, we had 2 starters, mains, a round of drinks and it was €95! Not happy at all.

Visit here each trip despite being all-inclusive. Amazing steak. We ordered a lot of food as we have been cycling for 3 days now in the mountains and a big ride tomorrow ! Staff are lovely and helpful and easy to book via WhatsApp. One of my favourite restaurants

The place was crowded and now we understand why. The food is amazing. We had a ‘build your own’ wagyu burger and a chicken dish. Normally I don’t eat a burger, but it was gone before I blinked twice. Also had the sauteed mushrooms on the side. The staff was very friendly. Would recommend!

This place looked a little touristic but surprisingly the food and the quality was nothing like that. • Service • The service was kind and despite being basically alone at the place then it felt cozy. The staff was fast and very attentive to us. • Location • The location is inside the shopping street, so nothing really worth looking at, but in terms of getting here it's close to all the big resorts. • Quality • The food was surprisingly good. I had the carpaccio and a pizza and the taste was very good, although not the best pizza I've had it was worthy to go for. The carpaccio was amazing! • Value for the money • Yes this is still a little expensive compared to more local places but it is to be expected in this location. Price is alright for the quality but still above what I think it should be and thus 1 star less with the lack of wood fired oven. Overall it's a place you can easily select if you want to eat at the Meloneras Faro, better than the other Italian place we went to.

Were told that this place has the best pizzas in the area - were not dissappointed. We also ordered a few cocktails - two Mojitos, Long Island and Sangria which were lovely and refreshing. Nice vibe too and reasonable prices. Would dfinitely recommend.

Restaurant with genuine Italian dishes. We enjoyed the real Italian pasta. The staff very friendly, especially Salvatore and very helpful in giving information in order to decide which food is more appropriate to your taste. As mentioned, an authentic Italian taste, I highly recommend the Tavolo14 restaurant.

Really good pasta. The waiter from Napoli was helpful and had some good recommendations for both pasta and dessert. Fregola, type of pasta from Sardinia was really really tasty. Pizza was good too. We'll definitely be back 👌

One the the best restaurants in the whole island. Great staff, excellent food and very competent chef. Average prices (maspalomas is not cheap) but totally worth it. Out of curiosity I read some of the bad reviews here and I found them totally unfounded. Go eat to Nicola's. You won't be disappointed.

Very nice staff and good food. We tried italian style pizza which was very good, pasta and sea food which wasn’t perfect but not so expensive like in other places. Great Tiramisu!

I was fooled by the reviews but it’s a tourist trap. The prices are not THAT bad considering the location and the portions, however the taste is just not worth it. First of they won’t give you a glass of water? You have to buy a bottle, the aperol spritz was one of the worst i’ve had that tasted like soda and the pasta was ok but a bit plain. Service is good. If you’re looking for italian food i’d go somewhere else.

The look of the restaurant might be a bit deceiving, as it isn't decorated as nicely, but gives a great view on the ocean. They had great food, tried the Pizza and grilled Salmon. Can also recommend the garlic-scampi. Good, friendly and professional staff. The restroom is a little run down but still clean.

Staff very friendly and fantastic views over the beach. Starters (Canary Potatoes and Cheesy Garlic Bread) were excellent and both very tasty. The mains were pretty average, you could tell it wasn’t the best quality ingredients. We also had our mains served when we hadn’t yet finished our starters so it felt quite rushed. I would add it was very cheap so you are getting what you pay for in this instance but based on our own experience we wouldn’t return.

Fantastic place! The best food we had eaten the whole week we were in Gran Canaria!! It was very quiet when we visited, maybe not long open for the evening, but that was perfect for us. We wanted a nice quiet meal without thumping music ect... I had the ribs which were amazing and the ginger fries are definitely being made at home! The wife had the duck stir fry which was equally amazing!!! (I couldn't wait to tuck in and forgot the photo of the ribs!) The staff were really friendly too, which was a stark contrast to what we experienced the night before. Highly recommend!!! Typically only found you on our last night or we would have come back! Thank you for a great end to our holiday!!

We had an awesome dinner at Fusion. We shared the the Pho which was absolutely delicious and so fresh. I had the Beef Rendang, so tender and spiced to perfection. My girl had the Thai Rice noodles with chicken, also very good. Service was quick and friendly with nice atmosphere. We highly reccommend this place and will definately be back. Full 5 star worth.

Nice restaurant with some vegan options as well! Good for a romantic night out, or just to dine in a more closed setting. It's next to Yumbo, has plenty of tables, but only inside. It was completely empty at 10 pm, so it was very peaceful. The vegan burger was good, and it came with a thick patty. The service was very friendly, and the order was out shortly.

Having been recommended by a few friends, we decided to try this restaurant on our latest visit to GC. The decor and atmosphere offers a warming reception upon entering, with plenty of space between tables. The team were genuinely friendly and up front stated there may be a delay, which is refreshingly honest. The menu has a wide variety of dishes for every pallet, we choose a shared starter which allowed us to sample many of the individual starters. Elegantly presented , the spring rolls were wrapped in a crisp yet perfectly cooked pastry. Each item had a unique flavour which resulted in fresh spices lingering after the course and excited for the main that followed. We chose the pan fried duck with pineapple along with the Vietnamese curry for mains. The freshness in both dishes is unmistakable with fragrance and delicate spice resulting in meals that satisfy and delight. Both came served with fluffy jasmine rice. The portion sizes are just right, and the timing between courses allow you to appreciate the previous. Service was excellent with the team speaking multiple languages to differing guests. The men's bathroom was clean and whilst rather dark it appeared to be due to a light bulb that may have recently gone out. I would highly recommend this restaurant for both the excellent cuisine and friendly atmosphere that allows you to relax and enjoy good food over the art of conversation.

We both had the salmon which was overall very tasty, although the salad was a little basic and the salmon itself had a lot of bones. Canarian potatoes were perfect. The drinks were great and flavourful, though the banana garnish was a strange choice. The main downside of the restaurant was its decor which was very basic and a strange layout. The menu was not very informative either and lacked tapas options, despite the restaurant’s name.

We visited yesterday and tried the paella — my very first paella ever, and it was absolutely amazing! The portion was huge, so I really liked that they offered takeaway, which was super convenient. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with anything. A lovely and unexpected surprise was being treated to Spanish rum on the house. Great food, great service, fair prices — I’ll definitely be coming back!

We've been here for a week and only found this place on the last day of our stay. If I had found it sooner, I would have eaten here every day! Gorgeous piece of sole fillet with beautiful buttery potatoes, and for a fantastic price considering the portion! Can't forget the cocktails and the service was perfect.

Our mission today was to enjoy some delicious, traditional tapas – unfortunately, this experience did not live up to our expectations. While the restaurant offered various tapas options, we were sold a “tapas platter for two” that wasn’t even listed on the menu. We were promised around 20 different tapas, but this was not the case. When the platter arrived, it certainly looked appealing at first glance, and the portions were extremely generous – in fact, far too much for two people. However, the overall impression was rather uninspired. Almost everything was either fried or grilled, with no sauces or variety to balance the flavors. There was a good amount of seafood, which we appreciated, but the taste overall was bland and lacked the passion or creativity we had hoped for. It felt more geared toward mass tourism than authentic tapas dining. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and attentive, and we were even offered a complimentary Canarian schnapps after paying. Still, we cannot recommend the tapas platter for two: it was too large, too monotonous, and ultimately not worth the price. To add to that, the sanitary facilities were not clean, which further detracted from the experience.

My friends and I came to El Oasis twice whilst on holiday and both times were incredible; great food and great service from each and every staff member. We had a late dinner the first night and lunch the second visit, we all throughly enjoyed both visits and would highly recommend!

We strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant. They are very kind but will try to cheat you at every turn when possible. We ordered seafood and asked about the price and got the answer that it costs 24 euros per person. We also ordered the recommended fish for one person. The seafood looked spectacular but the delight ended when we tried the shrimp and octopus. It was definitely not fresh seafood, but frozen. The octopus was hard and dry, shrimps were tasteless, and some were not even defrosted. The squid and pieces of fish were quite good. The biggest surprise was when we got the bill. For the seafood, we paid 40 euros per person and for the dorada fish 40 euros. I have eaten seafood many times before and never received such poor freshness. For someone who doesn't eat seafood, it will probably be something exotic. The amount of food was huge, but the quality was poor for such a price and place.

Really lovely food and staff, I hadn't realized there was a kids menu either so that was a nice surprise! They treated me and my son really well, and the food was a hit, I could barely finish my chili cheese jacket, and my son loved his scampi and mash. First time eating there since 2014 and the food is still just as good, highly recommend 🥰

Just wanted a steak so took the plunge. Wasn’t expecting what turned up but WOW! Portion size big and steak could have been the whole cow! Absolutely amazing food and very friendly staff. Will highly recommend to one and all to eat here.

Lovely restaurant. Staff are really welcoming and helpful. We had one gluten free in our party and they made sure we was aware what she could and couldn’t eat. Lots of options and even our fussy eaters enjoyed their meals which is rare. Servers very happy and warming. Will definitely be coming back for entertainment later on and for breakfast! Cocktails also a definite.

We sought out this bar after a recommendation from another tourist. We were not disappointed! This place is lively with an amazing vibe. The lady playing the electric saxophone was brilliant, with a really varied choice of music. We tried the quesadilla and it was top notch. I had a lovely cocktail and it was really nice to find some different ones on the menu. When we next return to Maspolomas we'll make a point of stopping here. Huge shout out to the staff who really make the place what it is.

Lovely place with great atmosphere. Very busy wich makes service little bit slow, but worth it. staff is friendly and Cocktails are amaaaazing!! 🤩 Food is really good and generous sizes! We had the seafood plate which was lush (octopus was to die for!), Pizza, really good, and Classico burger, great taste but patty little bit well done and compact for me, fries had a good taste but little bit too soggy. dip was nice and the little corn cob awesome!! will definitely go back next time. 🔥 Lots of live performances aswell

Really great spot for cocktails that we visited a couple of times during our stay. There's a large variety of cocktails on offer, many with their own twist. We also ate one evening, the ribs were particually good and fell off the bone! Both times we went they had someone playing guitar and then a DJ later in the evening, so created a good atmosphere. It was busy both times, but they also have seating upstairs, so I imagine you'll almost always get a seat.

We really enjoyed our evening at Tipsy Hammock Bar! The atmosphere was fantastic – great vibes, delicious drinks, and even better food. The service was friendly and attentive, and the music made the night even more special. We had a live singer first, followed by a really good DJ (@JONNAYB.J). Overall, we can absolutely recommend this place!

I recommend TIPSY HAMMOCK, it’s the liveliest place in the area. The singer was entertaining, and the lemonades were excellent. The food was good. The only thing we didn’t like was that we had to beg the staff to take our order, and even then they kept forgetting about us — the waiting time was unbelievable.

Great place for a drink and afternoon entertainment. The food is ok, chips we were oliy and soggy, onion rings bland. The Tacos and chicken wings we were decent. We did like the atmosphere and the singer was entertaining. Priced for the UK patrons so much more expensive than the rest of the bars down the beach strip.

The best food we've had all week, in fact, it's the best food we've had all year!! This place has the most incredible food on the island. The staff are absolutely amazing, so welcoming and friendly, even when it's very busy. The cocktails are also absolutely beautiful. I will absolutely recommend this place to everyone I know who is visiting Gran Canaria!

As a Mexican American from Texas, let me just say that this isn’t Mexican - it’s TexMex AT BEST! If you don’t know Spanish, you might get some rude vibes from the waiters. But don’t sweat it, I think it’s just a communication issue. I am fully fluent in Spanish so I didn’t have an issue but I did see others struggle a little. The food’s similarity to Mexican food is about what’s expected in a Spanish territory on the coast of Africa. Don’t expect anything extraordinary. However, there are some things you can get that are pretty comparable to TexMex. I got the Big Burrito with chicken. The good thing about this restaurant is that they have pickled jalapenos - all you have to do is ask for a side of them. Also you can ask for a side of sour cream to go with your burrito. Also, ask for the SPICY SALSA as it is different and tastes a whole lot better. It was really filling. The portion was excellent. And overall the burrito was acceptable; again, keeping in mind that you’re just off the coast of Africa! What I would suggest is having a section exclusively for smoking customers. Many tourists do not want to be exposed to cigarette smoke and sometimes the smell can ruin your dinner experience. As an ex-smoker, I’m not entirely disgusted by it but I can definitely see it being a problem for people. I will warn though that the Appetizers are most definitely not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend any of the appetizers. The regular salsa tasted like tomato paste. My friend got a meat skillet and the sauce they provided tasted like barbecue sauce - which is NOT used in any Mexican dish!

El Chacho Mexican Restaurant is set right on the square at the Yumbo Centre, setting the vibe before you even look at the menu. The thing that stood out was the attention to dietary requirements. I asked for my fajitas without cheese, and the server immediately checked whether sour cream was still fine. I liked that the menu had a decent selection of food that felt nutritious rather than just heavy plates. There’s a lot at the Yumbo so this stood out as provide food that’s good for the soul. I had a frozen margarita (twice) and both were spot on. Will definitely come back.

Great spot in the corner of the Yumbo. We shared nachos to start and both had the Quesadillas Tres Amigos which were delicious. It was a generous portion of both - we took some of the food home as we couldn't finish it all. Great service by the three waiters too.

Having seen the reviews I had to try this restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. For starter I was offered a mix of Lobster & Wagyu croquettes as I couldn't decide which to try and my partner had the shredded beef tacos. Both were delicious, we also had a small plate of Iberico meats, just to try them, again these were super tasty. These were followed by a gourmet burger for me and an Iberico sirloin for my partner. My only issue is the burger came with sweet potato fries, which I'm not a fan of, instead of normal fries. The burger was tasty and very filling and the steak was tender and cooked to perfection.

Wow, what a great experience. The food and especially the carchuteria was amazing. The personnell was very friendly and overall a very nice atmosphere. This is definitively a place to visit if you are on Gran Canaria!

We had a mixed experience at this restaurant. The meal started off great—the meat dish was fantastic, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The bruschetta was also a highlight, with fresh ingredients and a satisfying crunch. Unfortunately, the fried octopus was incredibly rubbery and difficult to chew. While the appetizers and meat dish were delicious, the poor preparation of the octopus really brought down the overall score.

Booked online, easily done, a table for 2 adults. On arrival we were treated with a smile and a warm welcome, a choice of tables, inside or outside, shaded from the evening sun. My wife wanted a Canarian white wine, a liittle sweeter than a sauvignon blanc, up stepped (Spanish Kevin!!,) the restaurant manager, he explained the different types of wine along with a recommendation with pride and knowledge, poured a tasting glass and ...... Yes, spot on, result! Next was the menu, we had difficulty selecting dishes until ..... up popped Spanish Kevin and again, with his expertise we chose: Croquettes, 3x lobster and 3x Wagyu beef, an Iberico tapas sharing plate and Truffled rice with pork all of which was absolutely delightful. We also asked that the food came as and when with no rush, just to relax, enjoy the evening and the ambience which is exactly what we got. The kitchen and Chefs was and were immaculate. The restaurant is beautiful and well worth a visit. Well done Spanish Kevin and his staff, you did yourselves proud, Muchas grasias 🙏

Wagyu and lobster croquettes as a started which was excellent, ribs for my main were so tender you could eat them with a straw. Great wines, very attentive staff, I think prices are very fair. The only regret I got was that I wasn't able to finish my cheesecake, it was that good, but totally stuffed :)

Fantastic meal. The food was done fabulously and portion size was just right - not too much or too little. The waitstaff are extremely attentive and can easily recommend dishes and let you know if you are ordering the right amount of food or the right combination of flavours. There is a good cocktail selection and the ambiance is great. Good location as well with easy parking for free on the street. The dishes we had were the jamon bruschetta, the smoked burrata, the special octopus and the wagyu tartar. Well worth the trip, you will not be disappointed.

Our meal was absolutely fantastic! The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was wonderfully friendly. We enjoyed everything so much that we even forgot to snap a photo of the Greek salad we ordered—we ate it all up too quickly!

Werry good food, a bit to smelly of plastik att lunh time. The smoking area is next to not smoking, so there is almost always some smoke irritating.

I’ve been to Greek Village three times now, and is a fantastic restaurant with consistently excellent service, and delicious food. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and excellent service. I’ll definitely be returning again soon!

Wonderful place to eat, eaten here so many time over the years. We booked for my partners 60th and they were great as usual. It is advisable to book a day or two before, especially if you are wanting to sit on the terrace.

I pre-booked this restaurant having read the reviews, as it is popular. I wasn't disappointed. The staff are very friendly, attentive and polite and the food was delicious. I had chicken Souvlaki, which came with rice, some pitta bread and homemade Tzatziki. The food was fresh, flavoursome and presented well. I would recommend coming here but try and book first. They do accept walk ins but as it's popular you might not be guaranteed a table.

The food and service was great - from the ladies working at the restaurant. The older man who works there was rude to me upon the entrance to the restaurant. He asked me if I have a reservation, and when I said we do not, he asked me in condescending way if I knew what reservations are, kind of throwing the question in the air not expecting the answer - very unnecessary comment that almost made me turn around and leave. He then just threw in a comment that he will need the table back in two hours, still not nicely or politely. The food was great and the remaining of the service was amazing as well, I will not be coming back though due to the experience I had.

Being coming to Goo for last 10 years or so, it's like the start of out Canary holiday ritual. The pizza & pasta were huge portions. Although they didn't use the proper palma ham but normal English ham on their pizza which is a same. But can't fault their service & people watching environment. Will still come again next year.

We were getting some dinner after a few cocktails and ended up at Gio Restaurant Bar Café. The service was friendly and quick. The waiter arranged a table especially for us and our drinks, food and bill came promptly. We both had pasta, which was simple but good. It was what we wanted after a few drinks. The atmosphere was great—lots of people coming and going to soak up the Yumbo centre energy. It was busy without being chaotic, and the space worked well for groups or couples. One thing to keep in mind is the toilets. They are beautiful but can have a queue, so it’s worth keeping an eye on them before you need to go. ★★★★☆

Terrible service, bland food, and zero sense of hospitality. I ordered a pizza diavola and a beer. What could possibly go wrong with something so simple? Turns out, everything. The pizza was mediocre at best: soggy in the middle, burnt at the edges, and tasteless overall. It looked better than it tasted, and even that’s being generous. The pepperoni had no flavor, the cheese was low-quality, and the dough was tough. Service? Nonexistent. The staff couldn’t care less. Unfriendly, slow, and completely disorganized. I sat there wondering if I had suddenly become invisible. It’s clear they’re used to tourists they’ll never see again, because that’s exactly how they treat you. To top it off, the place is overpriced for what it is. €15.20 for this disaster of a meal. There are countless better places to eat in Playa del Inglés and Yumbo Centrum, don’t waste your time or money here. Final verdict: A tourist trap with a fake Italian name. Keep walking.

Absolutely delicious! A huge menu both food and drink. Had the spag Bol and it was divine!

Literally the best food in Gran Canaria. The best Italian for sure, but not only that. The steak is out of this world, and everything else on the menu goes far beyond expectations. What makes it even more special is the people. Everyone here is so warm, attentive, and genuinely nice, always ready to help and make you feel at home. Every time we’ve been here, it has been a wonderful experience. From the beer tips to the little Italian lessons, it’s always a pleasure.

The bar is located in a prime spot at the Yumbo centre. Great place to have a drink and people watch. We also had food here and was not disappointed. I ordered the carbonara and can say it was once of the best I've had in a long time! Couldn't recommend the food enough. Everywhere in the Yumbo looks the same, so it's really hard to judge where to eat. Let me tell you - one of the best Pasta dishes I've ever eaten. Gnocchi with Prawns! Great portions, great size, rapid service - everything was perfect. It was only once I finished eating that I realised I should have taken a picture to add to this review! Also, the toilets were lovely and clean... Always a bonus!

Reasonably priced 👌🏻… back to the food, the fajitas are the most divine thing on the menu, bloody beautiful! Since being on holiday we have went here every day because of how beautiful the food is. Good food and fast service. Food was there about 5 minutes after ordering. Lots of options in the menu but only a few options for vegetarians. No problems to make the nachos vegetarian by removing the chilly.

An absolute gem in the heart of playa del ingles/Maspalomas. If you are looking for a break from the tapas and San Miguel you can find a hearty Irish welcome here. Food is amazing, we only had a 'snack' but we're well and truly stuffed after! Guinness is as expected, perfect and well priced for a holiday pub. Only give 4 stars for atmosphere as it was lunchtime and pretty quiet. I can imagine it is very busy later in the day/evening. 👍

Mulligans Irish Pub is a great place for anyone who enjoys Irish pub culture. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We were here four days in a row and it was simply fantastic!

We had a great experience here, all aspects of eating here were great and if you are in the area I highly recommend that you eat here. The staff who work here are very friendly and funny people which always makes the experience much better. The food here is also amazing, I had the steak which tasted amazing and was presented beautifully. It was the best steak I've ever had, I highly recommend ordering the steak. Prices here are very reasonable for what you get, as I have stated, I highly recommend coming here if in the area and will be back here.

I am really sorry for the bad review but the spaghetti with prawns was really bad. It was mostly boiled pasta then fried in onion/garlic oil. The onion burned and the pasta absorbed all the oil. No sauce besides that. It was just to much oil and not even a high quality one. I could not eat it and did not pay for it (thank you to the server!)

We ordered the paella, but unfortunately it was far too salty. Initially, I was ready to give a 1-star rating. However, the way the situation was handled completely changed my view. The waiter tasted it himself, admitted it wasn’t good, and immediately decided we didn’t have to pay for it. Cooking a good paella is difficult, but being honest about a mistake and solving it in the right way is even more difficult. This restaurant proved they know how to deal with it. That deserves respect. Because of their professionalism and honesty, I will definitely come back to give them another chance, and I look forward to trying their paella again another time.

The restaurant offers fresh and frozen seafood. It's worth asking in advance, because the difference in taste is big. Tasty and aesthetically presented dishes. The first time we ate a fish of our choice and the second time we ate grilled lobster, unfortunately it was on the grill a bit too long and it got too hard. Overall we recommend
