A cozy little restaurant in the center of Pucón, bustling and full of people. Great service, incredibly tasty food — the lamb shank is mind-blowing!

Let’s do it! That was an amazing Lamb Shank! The Ceviche was crazy good and fresh And no doubt, the Apple/cinnamon dessert was soooo goood. A must do!

Really enjoyed it here. Food was excellent and nice wine to accompany it. Feels very warm inside which is appreciated while it’s freezing here at the moment. Atmosphere is very comfortable and the staff were lovely

Our food was delicious - one of my husbands favorite meals for the 10 days we were there. My quinoa salad was really good! Flavors were on point!

I ate breakfast here today and it was delicious, i tried the Huevos Trawen, poached eggs with avocado and good quality of greens with cherry tomatoes. Great place to work or just to drink coffee or wine and have lunch or dinner, definitely I will come back

Definitely worth trying while in Pucon. Trawen has a solid menu featuring Chilean specialties and organic vegetables they grow themselves. The restaurant was recommended to us and we liked it so much we went back another time. Their ceviche appetizer is quite nice. I had their Llaima and my wife had the Risotto de Cepas. Both dishes were very well executed. We very much liked this restaurant and would recommend.

Top drawer beef in a nice setting served by helpful friendly staff. This was amongst the best meals we ate over 4 weeks in Chile. We had the ribeye and the short ribs. Excellent and the ribeye was available nice rare. Recommended

I was left really disappointed. A lot of people had told me about this place and it did not live up to the expectation. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful but the food was not to the level the prices demand. The starters were good. Tasty and well delivered. Our steaks were not to the expected standard. As you can see from the photo the sear on the meat is very poor especially as it’s cooked on wood fire grill. Secondly the amount of juice that ran out of the meat (see photo) suggests that it wasn’t given enough time to rest it it was frozen. At these prices you’d expect melt in your mouth steaks but we didn’t get that.

Some waiters are ok... Some others are arrogant... Great food overall.. try it (Updated as per January 2024) i went back and they have gotten a new wait stuff, better service.. great place for steak, definitely coming back..

True magicians on the grill. The parrilla was cooked to perfection and the meats were juicy and tender. A bit pricey, but every magician earns their keep by impressing their audience. A fair price for an amazing meal. Highly recommended.

the steak who was supposed to be medium rare was soft only in the middle with too much salt. the potatoes were minimal. the manager didn't respond to my complaint. a dog was bothering us all during dinner.

I'll admit I have mixed feelings about this place. I think asking for CLP $20.000 as a cover after 11pm is ridiculous, almost no bar is worth that, refused to pay it the night I got there after 11 and went somewhere else instead. I think it would be more fun (and they would get more people) if they weren't so greedy with their cover. The food also was pretty overpriced, so I didn't bother with it. However, if you are looking to dance and have a fun night out, and can get there before 11pm, it can be a good time. The main bartender is excellent, the music is good, they have a proper dance floor, and the drinks were great. I'm happy I went to see for myself, just get here early enough or else don't bother

Famous (or infamous) among the local Puconinos and across the region for its late-night scene. Reggaeton and red mood-lighting provoke dance and general debochery. Food is good, drinks are avarage and yes, pricy but your really paying for the atmosphere. Guys make sure to show up before 11 to avoid paying a cover

No way José! Sticky Pisco Sour was spilled all over my girlfriend's mobile, jacket, skirt... We only got a new drink and were given the bill, including the request for tip. No decency!!! Had to get everything cleaned : (

Beautiful interior and good service but the restaurant was empty in the evening and it seemed strange in a city full of tourists… The burrata was tasteless, the black risotto was excellent!

We ordered a glass of Sauvignon blank, grout ceviche and pure it was out of this world! I love it! The 4 star I give for the service is because they did not have English menu! And ordering was hard but totally worth of the effort!!! We used app to translate.

I celebrated my stepdad’s birthday at a wonderful Italian restaurant. The food was fantastic, and the sangria was delightful with just the right amount of alcohol to make everyone happy.

Would very much recommend. Very good pasta and the waiters spoke very good english

It’s a busy pizza restaurant, so you might need to wait in line to get a table. Since the place is very busy, the service might be a bit inattentive. The pizzas are made in real stone owen. But the flavor is just average. At least the España pizza wasn’t nothing special.

I would put a five in everything if, going to the bathroom, I wouldn't have to see a Trump picture on the wall... Why? 🙄 Anyway, a super staff, the people working there are so lovely!!!!!! Excellent pizza. The beef that was on ours was slow roasted pulled beef. The waitress made sure we understood that it was not ground beef but prepared differently. It was excellent. Great beer too. Not the cheapest place but decent value.

Don't bother. The pizza, while good, is already not cheap, but being charged $5 for some extra rucola (or anything other topping) is ridiculous. Especially when not informed while ordering. They even charge 1000 pesos for 1 takeaway box on a 50,000 bill. Not even the best pizza in the world can compensate the feeling of being ripped off.

Good atmosphere and pizza, really enjoyable and waiting times are acceptable, the problem with the restaurant lies on the menus, pizzas are good but their descriptions on the menu can be intricate and confusing, leading to misunderstandings with the contents of the ordered pizza. Also, there's the sadly unforgivable mistake of placing the greens such as arugula on the pizza before putting it on the oven.

Been here a couple of times during my stay in Pucon, I can clearly recommend it. A great staff, although the kitchen is a bit slow sometimes. Great pizzas and calzones, pasta is a bit too watery though.

Delicious food and great service. We tried boar and lamb and they were quite different from beef and chicken. However, it is truly outrageous that they charge $3.800 for a 350cc Coke. Would go again but probably wouldn't order any drinks.

To be fair, the food and ambience at this restaurant is great, and our waitress Macarena in particular was fantastic. Our experience however was ruined when we received our bill and realised that their wine connoisseur had charged us USD 38.50 for ONE GLASS OF WINE. We had asked for 'vino por copa', which refers to a glass of house wine in every single restaurant I've been to. The wine connoisseur asked me what wine I prefer and I chose a cabernet sauvignon. He then brought a bottle of wine to show me, and I said it was fine. He gave me only that option, and he never mentioned the price. I was therefore shocked when the bill came, and even more shocked at the way he handled it. He first started telling me how there are more expensive bottles of wine in their restaurant (not that I care - I didn't go there for their wine), then he claimed that this is the price of wine in Chile. This was a lie which really infuriated me as I have been in Chile for two weeks and I have been drinking wine every night so I most definitely know the prices for 'vino por copa' are in the range of USD 8 to 12. Finally he claimed that the price was expensive because "Chile has the best wine in the world"! How amazingly ridiculous! When I pointed out that Chile doesn't even have the best wine in SOUTH AMERICA (everyone knows the best comes from Mendoza), and FAR from the best wine in the WORLD, he did not have a response. What a stupid thing for a supposed wine connoisseur to say! I said that he should have informed me of the price if it was above the usual, and that I wouldn't pay for this, and then he said he would call the police! How rude!!! I had to ask to see the manager and he told us that this was one of the more expensive bottles of wine in their restaurant, and also agreed that the connoisseur should not have served it without informing us of the price. He offered to reduce the price to USD 20, which is still more than what I would pay for 'vino por copa', but we were tired of the fight so we paid just so we could leave. In hindsight, I realise that the wine connoisseur never poured the wine in front of us - he took the bottle away and then brought a glass of wine. With expensive bottles, the waitstaff always pours it in front of the customer so they know what they're drinking. From my experience with this cheat, he probably poured me a cheap glass of wine and then charged me the price of the expensive bottle. I would say visit this restaurant for the food, but stay clear of this wine connoisseur.

The service is lame, they bring half the order so we had to remember them what we've just asked. Then the meal was cold and the gluten free serving was tasteless. The ambient music was too loud, the light in the table was not working so we had to have dinner in the darkness. The waitress pick everything around us half an hour before closing like "kicking us out", we couldn't finish the evening peacefully.

Really great restaurant in Pucón! We had pasta with prawns and peppers, and a salmon and avocado salad. The food and service was great, we didn't have to wait long for anything and they provided lovely bread and paté for the table too. The only slight negative is the wine prices (a bit high). Good food, but nothing innovative or extraordinary. Can definitely get the same food and quality elsewhere for half the cost. The place is pretty, though, so I guess that's the added value they offer. I also did not appreciate that a fancy restaurant like that did not offer wifi or physical menus to read, and no alternative options. You have to scan QR code with your phone, which then prompts you to send a text via WhatsApp to request the menu. I hate when they trick you into giving your phone number. People without wifi or data, like us since we are not from here, can not see the menu. We had to ask someone from a neighboring table to lend us their phone, and my elderly mother couldn't read the small print. Honestly, the only thing that made us stay was the fact that it was raining super hard. If not, we would have left just on the basis that they don't have menus available, or wifi to facilitate to their customers so that they can see the menu. Good food, not great, too much money. Nothing to write home about. Feels like a tourist trap. In fact only non speaking tourists were ar the restaurant. Now we know why.

Me and my boyfriend were really lucky to have an amazing waiter Vicente that made our night extra good. His service made the food, service and atmosphere the visit worth because he made us feel special and welcomed. We hope he will get some extra praise and some compliments from the boss because he deserves it! 5 stars from us😊

Went for the craft beer but no one could be bothered to serve us, so we left.

Excellent food and very good beer selection. I left with a big smile and a very satisfied belly. The empanadas de mechada con queso, and the sauce that comes with was a complete delight.

I asked for a beer sample (five beers) at 18:10. The girl told me to take a sit and she would promptly bring me it. I waited for 15 minutes, nothing happened. I came to the bar to inquire, they said they'd look at it. Another 10 minutes and I came to the bar again to ask about my sample, they said it was closed (??). I told them I've been long waiting for it and they finally decided to serve me - a different guy (very kind one, the first I found here tbh) brought the beers and started to speak in (a kinda broken) English. I didn't understand why English at this point and asked them to switch to Spanish as it would be way easier to communicate (as apparently we were both fluent in it), he happily did it but was quite confused with my request. Also, the lady that first attended me said I'd get four beers from the menu but one (that they'd swap with their sponsored beer) and I actually got three from the menu, the sponsored one, and another one I hadn't been told about. Anyways, the beers were alright-ish.

We had the asado de tira and the risotto Nero de mar (asado ribs with mashed potato and squid ink risotto with mixed seafood). Both were great and tasty - however could have done without the chilli flakes in the mashed potato. The mashed potato were mashed baked potatoes with the skin on, which was different but still good. We ordered pisco sours which were nice but not authentic as they tasted more like margaritas. 4 stars considering these points - otherwise a great meal!

The place is good. The drink and food are good. I like Raices 🍻 is delicious. my girlfriend and me ate potato with cheese cheddar I feel that is incredibly 100% recommend.

I have never witnessed a more toxic place of business. I came here for dinner and had the most wonderful server (a lovely German woman), and the décor was truly adorable - I ended up purchasing some art that was on display - but that's where the positives end. The owner (presumably) arrived shortly after me, and was one of the rudest people I've see first-hand in the service industry. She not only belittled her staff (mocking their pronunciation of certain Spanish words when she herself had a UK accent), but did so at full volume, in English, along with complaining about certain guests at the attached hotel. When one guest asked her politely if she had found a solution to the lack of hot water in her room, the owner (?) told her she should be thankful for the extra cheap price of the room that was supposedly a glitch on the site. I also overhead her telling my server not to open an 'expensive' bottle of local wine for me as I simply ordered a glass - fair enough, but was said in a derisive way in full earshot of me, the customer. I can tell this is not simply a 'bad day' but how she conducts business. I was really appalled at how this person was treated her staff, frankly, and was so uncomfortable I tried to rush out of there after my meal (which was mediocre in terms of preparation and flavour, also). This makes me sad as I can tell this is a unique local spot that seems to have been tarnished by bad management. I really hope this can change for the sake of the community.

Review for the restaurant - 10/10 highly recommend! We were on our way to another restaurant and got drawn in by the vegetarian lunch sign and it was so the right decision. Amazing food, every course, and so many options to choose from. Amazing price! Super friendly staff! Can’t recommend enough!

Wonderful friendly place with superb vegetarian fare. They recuperated my daughter's ring when cleaning after checkout - wonderful honest staff! You'll feel at home here and can learn lots about the naive forests and rivers, just ask!

We had two veggieburgers with fries and for me it was the best of my life. The selfmade buns were delicious with a patty of lentils. Also I choosed caramelized onions, melted cheese, green paprika and mushrooms. The fries were good and the little col salad was just perfect. The service was very friendly and the enviroment is full of nice people and good spirit. We super recommend this restaurant when you visit Pucon!

Perfect place to recover your energy after a day of trekking, skiing or whatever. Hamburgers are colossal and everything at reasonable price. Highly recommend the Jamaiquino burger, you wont be disappointed.

Honestly, there is a bar nearby that claims the best burger in town... El Camino's burgers are way better! The atmosphere and staff are on point. In my pictures you can see that there is a lot of cheese on this burger... But you just can't tell how fantastic it tastes! Go try the burger!

When you are here you are family… This restaurant is perfection, ingredients were fresh and served with care to pay homage to the chefs Roman roots. An absolute must visit, a hidden gem amongst a busy touristy lake side town. Do not skip the hand made cannolis they will blow you away.

Amazing little place with the best Italian cuisine you could ever hope to try (outside of Italy). I ordered spaghetti noodles with a tomato and mushroom sauce. The noodles were perfectly cooked, al dente, and the sauce tasted like heaven. My dessert was an almond based chocolate cake, which was gluten free, and you couldn't even tell it wasn't made with regular flour. The waitress was super nice, and was happy to answer any questions we had about the menu.

Given the reviews, I was surprised at how sub mediocre this was. Tha aranchini balls were dry, the house special spaghetti with meatballs was way (way) too wet and overcooked (e.g. not al dente). The sauce was pretty bland and insufficient to cover all of the noodles. My dining colleagues had similar opinions across the board. There was one dish that was better by comparison: a round cheesy doughy baked appetizer.

Owners use Italian ingredients and special cheeses which make the food extra delicious. Owners are really sweet and make the stay extra cozy. It's the best we've had so far in Pucon. Desserts are not spectacular but still delicious. The restaurant is less than 1 year old so it doesn't have many reviews, but it totally deserves the 5 stars and be number 1 in TripAdvisor. Fair value for money. Not as pricy as other places more I'm the center of the City.

The food was great! I had a risotto which was really good and special and my boyfriend had pizza with the most delicious dough! I also really like the staff and the service

We were very excited about this but had mixed reviews. While the mains were nice, and the pasta tasted homemade, the arancini starter was bland and undercooked. It was served on a bed of what tasted like cold tinned tomatoes with no seasoning whatsoever. We also suspected the sauces in the mains may have been defrosted as it was a bit watery. While the service was fine (but very quick) and the staff were friendly, there was a lack of atmosphere and we were only one of two couples there on a Saturday night. Overall, we’d be skeptical to recommend eating here unless they up their game.

Truly great food! Good service too. We went at lunch time during the low season, so the place was less than half-full so really mellow atmosphere. But after the first bite, really with it. I had the “pollo al pilpil”; chicken with scallops and calamari, with mashed potatoes with spicy merken. What a treat!

Love a quaint restaurant! It’s a good place to visit for some delicious fried seafood, and just seafood in general. Portions are so worth what you pay for. The service was quick, the food came out right away, and the server was attentive. I do recommend the congrio frito and the pure papas.

This restaurant offers good seafood dishes, though in my opinion, they're very over priced. The menu also has pasta dishes which were disappointing. The fetuccini Alfredo pasta was pasta I could have purchased at a local supermarket and the ham used in the sauce was not very good. I would have expected better quality or even homemade pasta, given that the prices would merit it.

Great Italian restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. Pizzas are large and unless you have a big appetite one is enough for 2 people. They will also do half and half pizzas if you want to share and hwlave something different to the person you are sharing with!

Expensive but portions were large. Food was average and bland, but the steak was cooked well. We did find a piece of butter packaging in our food but we understand this can happen in any restaurant! The staff were kind about this.

I was hesitant with the negative reviews, but they were all about the price. I get it now, after having dinner there in January 2024. The reason you come here? The steaks! I ordered the bifé chorizo and it was the size of my arm. That is why the cost is high - the steaks are quality and enormous, and they come with a side dish. The service was great, Mary, our server, always had a smile on her face and was ready to help at any time. Don't be put off by the negative reviews, yes, it is expensive but if you share a steak (which at 1+ lbs and a huge bowl of mashed potatoes is completely reasonable) then it is normal prices. The pisco sour catedral was Pisco forward and a great change from the more sweet piscos that are served elsewhere. The other stuff, bread, salad, etc. was meh but you come here for the steak which was A+!

Overall a very good restaurant. They had a pizza happy hour for lunch during mid day. The pizza was generally good and the portion was generous too. Toppings were fresh. That said, they are a bit stingy in providing enough for hungry athletes. The outdoor seating was highly pleasant and provided a bit of protection from the sun and elements as well. During our meal, a few local buskers came to woo us with their talent & earned the tips we gave. All in all, a great place for a meal in Pucon.

Absolutely great food: the "filete de res" is the best steak and potatoes dish I've had in the whole of Chile (and I've been around here awhile). The prices are very reasonable, and the cook is a great person, had a very entertaining conversation with her. Also, lots of tips for the local attractions, saved me a lot of time. Horrific experience with Carlos the waiter. His name was Carlos and was rude and impolite to me and my family. I ordered food from the menu for the kids and he decided to bring something different. When I asked him to change it he argued with me as to what I ordered even though our local guests who speak fluently heard exactly what I ordered. Patience with foreigners should be standard in this town and there are plenty of other restaurants that are friendlier and accepting of tourists. He later scolded me and the kids for drinking a Coke directly out of the bottle. Food is average so I would recommend that the owner to either not serve tourists or to train their staff to be more worldly and friendly to customers. The price points are very high for what you get so I would expect better service. I do not recommend to anyone.

Unfortunately, I didn’t take a photo because as soon as you bite in, all of the juices come pouring out and those extra napkins they hand you are A MUST. We didn’t receive a plate and merely used the the to-go bag, which was rough when trying to use all the condiments on their outdoor seating area. THANKFULLY, there was a sink (with soap!) to use after our messy but delicious meal. Overall, an unexpectedly amazing experience and I’d love to come back here to try other flavors in the future 😍

Also, the falafel was green for some reason, and the hummus was a major dissapointment as well, as it was very dry, and was badly missing flavor that I have consistently enjoyed with hummus at many othdr resstaraunts. On top of this, the service was very painfully slow. The time between being seated, getting our orders taken, and getting served food, it took over an hour. Save your time and money and try something else instead of this place.

We stayed here as part of a Backroads hiking trip. While the location is very convenient, the hotel is a pretty big disappointment. It is very dated and in need of a great deal of touch up repair throughout. The view is outstanding but that does not make up for the poor dining service which was frustratingly bad. The rooms are spacious but it is very hard to get to the power outlets and there are not nearly enough hangers in the closets. There is no air conditioning so be prepared to leave the windows open all night if you are on the first floor! Overall, this is more aligned as a 3 star property and not worth the higher price or expectations.
