Additionally, the property houses a museum showcasing Mughal manuscripts, miniature paintings, and historical artifacts. With its opulent design and proximity to the Taj Mahal, this resort provides an elegant retreat for travelers visiting Agra.
Very nice hotel. Beautiful lay-out of the garden with pool. Delicious food and clean. Employees very helpful and friendly. All-in-all I can recommend this hotel and would stay there again gladly. We were there for just one night to visit Taj Mahal for which the hotel is located perfectly. In general we cannot say anything with regards to location as we did no further sightseeing. Just a quick mention of Dinesh, Najim, Rajiv, Sandeep and Jitendar for there assistance during arrival and departure, everything was well organised.

The hotel exceeded all expectations. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the staff greeted us with warm hospitality throughout our stay. Every amenity—from the serene pool area and gym to the delectable breakfast options—made the experience truly memorable. The check-in was efficient, and the location was close to all the major attractions, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and top-notch service. inner Review Example Dinner was a delightful experience from start to finish. Every dish was packed with flavor, made from fresh and high-quality ingredients, and presented beautifully. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations that made the meal even more enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall charm, making it a wonderful place for both special occasions and casual visits.Special thanks to Mr. Anwar for serving us

Had a wonderful experience during my stay! The hotel staff was extremely courteous and helpful throughout. A special mention to Avinash Kumar, the gym trainer, for being so motivating and knowledgeable. His guidance made every workout enjoyable. Loved the energy and guidance throughout the workout! Also, Anwar and Bheem, the waiters at the restaurant, provided excellent service with their polite and attentive nature, ensuring every meal was a delight. Truly appreciative of the entire team for making my stay so pleasant and memorable.

Stayed for one night at ITC Mughal in Agra and had an absolutely delightful experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for visiting the Taj Mahal. What truly made our stay special was the warm and welcoming nature of the staff. A big shout-out to swim coach Satyaveer—my daughter really enjoyed your lesson, even though it was brief. Thank you for taking the time out to engage with her. Special thanks also to Anwar ji and Vikrant ji at the restaurant, you took excellent care of us and made our dining experience so enjoyable. We truly appreciated the hospitality and will definitely be coming back!
Dr M — Google review
Although I stayed at this hotel for only a few days, I truly enjoyed the experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, but also intimate and cozy. The people working there are extremely nice and helpful; I felt welcomed and well taken care of. Raj, who is working at the reception, really made me feel seen, helped with my questions, and inquiries. And also nice and friendly conversations. I asked the hotel to book a guide for me, and they found a very knowledgeable local guy who really helped me explore the Taj Mahal and the rest of the monuments in Agra in the best possible way. If you are coming to Agra and thinking where to stay, this is the place! I am planning to come back for a longer time and with the rest of my family.
Jelena L — Google review
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at ITC Mughal. The property is simply beautiful, well-maintained, and pristine — a perfect blend of luxury and serenity. Every corner reflects elegance and warmth, making the entire experience memorable. The service was outstanding and truly made our stay special. A heartfelt thanks to Umar, Faizal, and Gajendra, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel so welcome and comfortable. We left with such positive memories and cannot wait to return. Highly recommend ITC Mughal for anyone looking for an exceptional stay in Agra!
Anandita K — Google review
Had two nights here as part of a British Airways package. Website views looked great. Room was fine, getting a bit dated though with rust apparent in the bathroom. And a weird window between shower/bath and bedroom area (which also had a working blind inside it). Good if you want to see your other half showering or whatever but no good if you want to turn the light on for an early hours trip to the toilet as it illuminates the bedroom. Well stocked minibar, all facilities there, air con was good. TV good also. Service, grounds and atmosphere all very good but the prices were silly. We had a bad meal in Peshwari with average curries and way overcooked breads but fed this back to the management at checkout who offered a discount. This put the price back to an average restaurant meal cost for 2 in the UK so still left a sour taste as you expect the food to be really good and it blatantly wasn't. Didn't try any other meal. Still, I couldn't fault the staff who I dealt with but I'd look for a different hotel next time.

We had the most amazing stay at IHT Mughal for our close friends wedding. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to greet us with smiles and positivity throughout our stay! A special mention goes to Yugal, Jaipal, Guddi and Sunahari for always greeting with a smile as soon as you enter the stunning hotel and going above and beyond! Thank you all so much and would definitely recommend if you’re in Agra 🙏🏽

Hotel
Tajview, Agra - IHCL SeleQtions is a luxurious hotel offering a hassle-free experience for visitors to the Taj Mahal. Situated within a mile of the iconic monument, it provides stunning views and an airport shuttle service for convenience. The hotel boasts nine acres of beautiful gardens, a spa with traditional therapies, and a freshwater pool.
The Tajview is a really pleasent luxury hotel. It really does have distant Taj views too. It's situated on a typically busy street that has the new metro trains running down it's length. The street's noisy but the hotels well set back and the pool view room are away from that side. The room was comfortable and well equipped. Our view was pool side so we couldn't see the Taj except from the sky bar. The pool was a highlight for me. More of an adults, swimmers depth rather a too shallow pool designed for kids. Lovely temperature too. The other highlight for me and everyone else it seems was the two beautiful Labrador dogs that have run of the ground floor. The main indoor resteraunt for breakfast and dinner was excellent. Al-a-carte or buffet, both where top quality. Plenty of staff and a chef eager to help. The roof bar was probably the only disappointment. Poorly lit, disorganised, noisy from road and music. Everything arrived at once, nothing was as expected - e.g. basic spaghetti bolognise was heavily spiced, negating the point of ordering something bland to protect the constitution. They also appeared to have double charged with card machine at table and then duplicate on main bill. So check on that when you get the checkout bill. Overrall, It's a solid 8 out of 10. The roof bar is a 4 out of 10.

Pretty great hotel, love the facilities, but mostly love the service/staff they are very friendly always saying hi especially Mr Amit, almost every single morning he sees me at breakfast and will ask me hows my day and how he could help. Big plus points for the service. Food was great for breakfast but honestly prices for the rooftop restaurant was pretty pricey. Other than that i love my stay. Truly thank you to all the staff for making my stay a wonderful one.
Abdul R — Google review
We stayed one night here. The service was impeccable, the room very comfortable and everything was working perfectly. The highlight of that hotel is the outdoor pool which is surrounded by a well maintained garden. The water was clean and we could enjoy a late afternoon swim. The only con in my view is the general pricing (F&B, rooms, etc.) which is a little higher than its direct competitors. Anyway we enjoyed our stay during our 2 day visit at Agra.
Erik J — Google review
It was one of my best stays ever at The Tajview. I truly appreciate the culture of hospitality that shines through in every detail. Everything is so well thought-out and functional—nothing is just for show; everything serves a purpose. The TV works, the rooms and bathrooms are spotless, and the mattresses are incredibly ergonomic and comfortable, ensuring a perfect night’s sleep. The restaurants are very good—caring in their service and soulful in their food. The location is good, and to top it all off, the in-house shopping facility was a delightful surprise—extremely useful and exhaustive in its offerings. A truly memorable experience.

Taj View Hotel Agra is a good and comfortable place to stay. The location is excellent, with a clean and well-maintained property. The garden and open areas are beautifully kept, giving a peaceful atmosphere. Rooms are decent and comfortable with good cleanliness. Service is a bit slow, but the staff is polite and helpful. The restaurant and seating areas are nicely designed, and the overall view from the hotel is really pleasant. Overall, it’s a great option to stay in Agra. With slightly faster service, the experience would be even better.

Stayed July 25 and 26, 2025 – Day 22 and 23 in India After a long seven-hour drive from Jim Corbett National Park, we arrived at the Taj View Hotel in Agra and were welcomed with warmth and grace. A lovely lady greeted us with a tika and refreshing drinks, which was such a thoughtful and culturally rich touch. The check-in process was seamless and efficient, and we appreciated how easy it all felt after a long day of travel. Given the hotel’s name, I had my heart set on a room with a view of the Taj Mahal. For some reason, I had really imagined waking up to that iconic sight. So when we entered our room and realized there was no view of the Taj, I felt a bit disappointed. That said, the room itself was clean, comfortable, and perfectly adequate for our needs—nothing fancy, but it served us well. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet on both mornings of our stay. There was a good variety, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. What really stood out to us throughout the stay was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. They went out of their way to make us and our daughters—aged 5 and 7—feel comfortable and cared for. It really meant a lot as a traveling family. On our second night, we initially headed to Taj Bano for dinner, but the experience didn’t go as planned. The atmosphere felt overly formal, and the service was slow and impersonal. After waiting quite a while without being acknowledged, we decided to leave and return to our hotel room instead. Back in the room, we ordered room service. Our daughters wanted burgers, so we ordered two chicken burgers for them. Unfortunately, they didn't enjoy them. My husband and I shared an order of mutton biryani, and we found it flavorful and satisfying. Overall, it was a good stay. The service stood out, the food was enjoyable, and despite a couple of minor disappointments, we left feeling well taken care of. A solid experience that we’re grateful for.
Foodieextreme F — Google review
My overall experience was quite satisfying. During my 2-day stay, both the accommodation and food met expectations. The rooms were comfortable, and the hotel staff were attentive and responsive. After we brought a few concerns to their attention, they promptly addressed them, ensuring our comfort throughout the rest of the stay. I also had the chance to try a variety of delicious dishes offered at the hotel, which added to the overall positive experience.
Navisha — Google review
Not a 5 star experience unfortunately. Poor sound proofing, unpleasant smell in the room, inoperative safe, dated furniture, subpar service at the bar. Breakfast was fine. It’s certainly close to the Taj, but that’s about the only positive.

The warm welcome—complete with their signature chocolate chip cookie—set the tone for a stay filled with comfort and care. The rooms were immaculate, the amenities top-notch, and the location perfect for exploring the majestic Taj Mahal. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. All the accommodations were pleasant. The beds were very comfortable. The dining was lovely. We enjoyed the pool and the billiards room. Our concierge, Arman Khan, was most helpful in planning our day trips and helping us to secure extended travel accommodations to Dehradun; even stayed after hours and followed up to ensure we understood our itinerary.

Really great hotel and definitely worth the price. The staff are really going out of their way to make the stay as comfortable as possible. I am intolerant to gluten and the head chef came out of the kitchen personally to explain to me which dishes contain gluten and which don’t. There are also small card next to every dish with allergens (Gluten, soy, nuts etc. 100% recommended. A special thank you to Jenny, the waiters and all the kitchen staff. Thorsten Vana

This exceptional hotel, ideally located near the Taj Mahal, offers outstanding hospitality. Upon check-in, the warm staff, including Room Service Manager Pooja Sharma, personally welcomed us. The front desk team, including Shilpa, Sharman, and others, assisted us with genuine smiles. The night duty manager went above and beyond, allowing me tea and paratha at 1:30 AM in the lobby, despite policy, with help from Restaurant Manager Satish Pandey. Breakfast staff were remarkable, with the cook preparing off-menu parathas. Though I can’t recall every name, all staff excelled in service, elevating hospitality to new heights. They deserve a ₹10,000 monthly raise!

We had a really nice stay at DoubleTree by Hilton. The location was perfect for getting around, and breakfast had lots of delicious options to choose from. The staff were wonderful, so hospitable, attentive, and genuinely keen to make sure we had a good experience. That said, we did notice a couple of things that could be improved. The bedsheets had some stains, and the hotel overall is starting to show its age, so a bit of renovation would really help. Still, the warmth of the staff, the convenient location, and the solid breakfast made it a great stay overall.

The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra is a palatial hotel offering ornate rooms and suites with unparalleled views of the Taj Mahal. Located just a short distance from the monument, it provides uninterrupted views from each of its 102 rooms and 7 suites. The hotel's Mughal-inspired design features landscaped gardens, intricate filigree work, marble inlays, and antique furniture.
The most amazing resort we have ever been to in our entire life so far!! We have stayed in 5 star properties in many countries and cities all over the world but none compares to the luxury feeling we had at this hotel/resort. Everyone from the moment we arrived made us feel special and relaxed. Food was amazing and the location is unbeatable for the reason of our visit. The views of Taj from our window in the morning was mind-blowing. We would like to thank Rohit and his awesome staff for a memorable experience!!
Amit D — Google review
We had a lovely central room no balcony (lots of pigeons on the balconies it seemed to us). The facilities and room were all Oberoi luxury but what always separates out Oberoi is the sheer attention to great service. The bar isn’t really separate from the lobby and neither comfortable nor atmospheric whereas the sitting room on the other side is both - we took our cocktails to go and went to our room with its peerless view of the Taj. The breakfast room is a wee bit crowded but the food good (melon not ripe enough) and the egg and Indian dishes we had were top notch. It has one of the nicest pools we have ever seen with the trickling of water and fountains with gorgeously pretty umbrellas. The service at the pool, as elsewhere was impeccable. Nowhere better to stay for the Taj.

The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra Staying at The Oberoi Amarvilas is truly magical. Waking up to a view of the Taj Mahal from your room is unforgettable. I had dinner at Esphahan — the Mughlai cuisine is phenomenal; the kebabs and biryanis are perfectly spiced. Don’t miss afternoon tea or cocktails at The Oberoi Bar & Lounge while watching the Taj glow at sunset. The service is impeccable — every staff member goes above and beyond. The spa is incredible too, a perfect way to relax after exploring the city. A must-stay for anyone visiting Agra in luxury style!

Mr Arpan and his entire team made our stay truly unforgettable! They treated our engagement celebrations with the utmost respect and care, creating an experience that was nothing short of fantastic. The thoughtfulness that goes into every aspect of the service here is beyond anything we've experienced in hotels around the world. The team is incredible, and the property itself is absolutely mind-blowing. We can't wait to come back next year to celebrate again - this hotel now holds a very special place in our hearts!

We had the most remarkable stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas. From the moment we stepped in, it was like stepping into a Bollywood dream and we were the main stars of the film. They treated us like royalties, like the fact that every staff member remembered our food allergies blew us away. The genuine warmth, impeccable service, and attention to detail made it the most magical hotel experience we’ve ever had. Thank you to each and every Oberoi team member who made us feel super special!! Samriti and Amit

We stayed here for one night while visiting the Taj Mahal, and the experience was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were treated like royalty. The hotel itself is breathtaking, the grounds are immaculate, and every detail is perfectly maintained. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area or considering this hotel — it’s truly unforgettable!!

From check-in to check-out, everything about my stay at Oberoi Amarvilas was flawless. This is truly one of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever visited, where every detail reflects elegance and perfection. The rooms are exquisitely appointed, each offering a breathtaking view of the Taj Mahal along with the serene hotel pool. Bathrooms were spotless and well-stocked with every amenity. The entire property is aesthetic and designed for a relaxing couple of days. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. They go above and beyond, treating you like a personal guest rather than just a visitor. A unique touch was having someone prepare the bed at night and even place slippers—an experience I encountered for the first time. Special thanks to Mr. Aishwarya and his team, who made our stay extra memorable. Dining was exceptional, with restaurants serving both authentic Indian delicacies and fine continental cuisine. The breakfast buffet was elaborate, offering a wide spread of both Indian and continental selections. My wife especially enjoyed the spa services, which added to the indulgence. Additional thoughtful touches included an e-cart service to and from the Taj Mahal, making visits effortless. Even when there was a minor oversight with my request for eggless cookies , the entire staff took it upon themselves to apologise sincerely—showcasing the Oberoi standard of service. In every sense, Oberoi Amarvilas delivers luxury, comfort, and warmth. It’s not just a stay; it’s an experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Agra.

Lavish stay but left with mixed feelings My stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas was nothing short of luxurious — stunning property, warm hospitality, and an experience that truly feels royal. Everything was beautifully maintained, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure guests were comfortable. However, during a conversation with one of the service staff, I was surprised and honestly saddened to learn that they often work 12-hour shifts every day. It really made me think — no matter how grand the hotel, no one should have to work such long hours. The management should consider hiring more staff or improving working conditions. It’s disheartening to know that behind such luxury, the people making it happen might be overworked. It’s a beautiful place and a memorable stay, but I genuinely hope the hotel takes better care of its team — they’re the heart of the experience

Hotel Crystal Inn is a modest 3-star accommodation located in the bustling Taj Ganj area, at the heart of Agra. It's conveniently close to iconic landmarks like the Taj Mahal complex and the Mughal style white Itmad-ud-Daula Marble Mausoleum. The hotel offers a free breakfast buffet and features a rooftop restaurant with stunning views of the Taj Mahal. Additionally, it's within proximity to attractions like Saket Mall and Agra airport.
I had a great experience staying at this property. Overall, I really liked the hotel it was well-maintained and had a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were excellent, with tasteful interiors and well-thought-out design. The bathrooms were especially impressive clean and well-equipped. The service throughout my stay was consistently very good. Staff were polite, attentive, and always willing to help. I also enjoyed the food; it was delicious and offered a good variety. I stayed at this hotel 3 days ago, and I was absolutely impressed even though this is a 3 star hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations. The room was beautifully designed and felt truly luxurious, offering a good level of comfort that made my stay extremely pleasant. The cleanliness, especially the bathroom, was top notch . Everything felt well maintained. The location is really good, just 1.5 km from Taj Mahal and many other famous monuments, making it incredibly suitable for sightseeing and exploring other nearby monuments. The staff was also friendly. The food served at the hotel was also excellent. Overall, I had an excellent experience at this hotel and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Agra.

The most value for money option I could find in Agra. Located conveniently near Taj Mahal East Gate buggy pick up point (just under 1 KM) and close to metro station. Rooms are neat and clean with comfortable matress, clean linen as well as enough space to keep your bags. Toilets were also kept clean with modern bathroom fittings. Staffs were courteous and overall a positive experience. Though the breakfast spread was not elaborate it gave enough option to satisfy our taste buds. To give some points for improvements they could add healthy options to breakfast menu like cut fruits or vegetables. The only sour point was the floor mat on the corridor, which I hope they will replace or clean soon. I would recommend this hotel for those who are looking for a comfortable stay near Taj Mahal.

Rooms are very clean and well maintained, staff behaviour is very nice, always ready to serve. Hotel location is also good near to Taj and on wide road with parking available. Only one thing that need maintenance is carpet in lobby, its needs cleaning, you can easily see dirty patches on it.

Booked 2 rooms. Extra mattress available. Parking available with 24 hrs security guard. Food quality is very good. Room service is good. Cleanliness is good. For visiting Taj Mahal. Please take your car up to parking around 600m from hotel. Take govt. E rickshaws from inside parking. (White colour big size, 20 rps per person). Don't get scammed by small e rikshwas, they will drop you mid way. Overall a very good stay at this hotel.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an *Excellent* stay at Hotel Crystal Inn, Agra. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, always ready to assist. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast buffet. Location is very convenient, close to the Taj Mahal and other attractions. Overall, a wonderful experience – I would love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to all travelers. Regards Prashant

Standards are very high. Not just any hotel in india. Specially i think staff from restaurant area (2 boys ) did exceptional job with focus on service. Overall clean hotel but to me staff stood out the most. Also thanks to chef for unbelievably good lunch. My mum was extremely happy with food and she is the hardest to make happy

Nestled in Agra, The Grand Imperial is a historic hotel with a timeless charm. Its lush surroundings and vintage architecture make it an ideal setting for weddings. The hotel offers luxurious suites adorned with rich colors, antique furnishings, and modern amenities. Guests can enjoy picturesque views of the Taj Mahal from the terrace while savoring traditional Indian, Chinese, and continental cuisine at the on-site restaurant.
Our family had a wonderful stay at the Grand Imperial Heritage Hotel in Agra this August. The location is excellent—close to the main attractions yet peaceful. The Mughal-era themed heritage rooms were large, elegant, and full of character, making the atmosphere truly special. Special thanks to General Manager Tara Sura, who went out of her way to ensure our stay was memorable. The food was another highlight—authentic Mughlai cuisine prepared by Chef Ashwani was outstanding, and both breakfast and dinner service were fabulous. Front Office staff Nandini ensured our check-in formalities was done quickly whilst Kay Kay and support staff made sure our rooms The hotel amenities were excellent: the lawns and swimming pool were well maintained, cleanliness was top-notch, and the service throughout was fantastic. Overall, the Grand Imperial is not just a stay but an experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Agra!

The room (Chamber of Prince) was very spacious and nicely decorated with a large well-maintained bathroom. Everything was also very clean. Service is good as may be expected from such a place, but somewhat cold and professional. Location is mediocre, you are very dependent on tuktuks. Diwali celebrations were a bit muted, in Agra in general as well. The hotel appears to attract a lot of operated tours and is very large in general. Furhtermore, there is ongoing construction on a new metro line right next to the hotel (which was quiet during our stay due to Diwali). So it may be more noisy than we experienced, so if you prefer a more quiet experience this may not be for you.

Terrible Hospitality – Not Worth the Hype The hotel property is large and looks good, but the hospitality is absolutely zero. The staff is extremely careless. We booked a deluxe room, and the next day we both ended up with allergies and itching all over our bodies. I complained at the reception, and while we were out, they claimed to change the mattress — but the room was still not cleaned. I insisted on changing the room, and they finally gave us a better one, but by then, our trust was already broken. The service is extremely slow and disappointing. We waited 45 minutes just for a bottle of water. While we were at the pool, we asked a waiter for the menu — he never came back. That kind of rude and careless behavior is totally unacceptable, especially from a so-called luxury brand. If you’re coming here expecting a relaxing vacation and good service — forget it. The only good thing is that the place is quiet, but that’s about it. The pool closes ridiculously early at 7:30 PM, which also makes no sense for a vacation spot. They clearly don’t know how to treat guests, and overall, the hospitality is a complete failure. Not recommended at all.

I had one of the most disappointing experiences at The Grand Imperial, Agra. Last night, we visited the hotel and enquired about room availability. The staff first confirmed that rooms were available, and we even discussed the rates in detail. After a short discussion among ourselves, we went back to the reception to confirm the booking — only to be told that the rooms had suddenly “sold out.” We accepted it calmly and went to look for another hotel. However, just to be sure, we called back from a colleague’s phone a few minutes later to ask about the same room — and were told that it was indeed available! This was extremely disheartening and unprofessional. It felt as though we were deliberately refused accommodation for reasons we can’t understand. For a property that claims to be a top-notch heritage hotel, this kind of treatment towards guests is completely unacceptable. If you value honesty, transparency, and respectful service, I would strongly advise reconsidering before booking here. There are many other hotels in Agra that truly respect their guests and uphold genuine hospitality — unfortunately, The Grand Imperial was not one of them in our experience.

I visited here for one night in december. Not value for money. A bit overpriced for the services offered. The swimming pool was amazing a d is regularly maintained, I visited in Dec so couldn't use. The rooms will get too chilly and the heaters don't really work. There is no balcony or opening window in deluxe room. The only one big window has a glass pane which doesn't open. The food is average but too costly so is a simple tea. Rather would suggest to eat from any other restaurant as the hotel is very suitably situated on main road. May rather visit some other property next time I am in Agra

If you want the real India experience this is the hotel you need to stay at. We had a couple of problems but they were rectified promptly. Great airconditioning with a good size room. The breakfast was below par but can't complain for the price and maybe wasn't for our western taste. Absolutely great value for your money and you get to experience true Indian culture. Don't expect a western 4 or 5 star hotel.

The Grand imperial Hotel is just a piece of classical relic. The old hotel which boasts of a legacy of 150 years and having hosted guests of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Jayaprakash Narain genre and conveying further through imminent diginataries and like A M Maes, Mohamed Reza Pahlavi and Farha Diba Pahlavi ,the Shah and Empress of Iran (in 1969) ,is still continuing as a valued choice of visiting indian and foreign tourists alike. The most stunning feature is the expanse of antique furniture and vintage artefacts still preserved intact and on its array to the guests. The management puts in commendable endurance in maintaining and running the property with an element of personal and loving touch which is smoothly transpired into the guests and touching them. There's this warm feel of a homecoming and a beckon to an old world ancestral home as you check in. The food is great and serving is with some love and caress, the staff and attendants are warm and simple and so touching and a classic cut above the pompous and showy laxuries of the five and seven star cult you see elsewhere. The building is quite old and efforts to restore and maintain amid the beating of the weather and rain is appreciable, though not fool proof. The garden and landscape and the decor of the hotel is quite expensive and painstaking to maintain,we felt so.. We wish this unique hotel stands tall and bold and let more of valued guests and tourists flow in and be a part of the message the management want to spread. And while doing so you are being a part of the hotels legacy... We enjoyed two days of stay, very memorable, rooms are cozy comfortable and impeccable. The neatness of the well kempt rooms needs a special mention. The only little inconveniences are access road due to the metro rail works happening just outside the main gate. The slowness of the connectivity in the far interior rooms despite a wi fi and poorly connecting mobile networks may bother you if you are too concerned about them. There are civil works and maintenance which may pose inconvenience to some demanding or fussy guests, otherwise it's a place to call it a perfectly warm home and for more of comebacks...

Well I think this was my best hotel staycation . It was my Daughter's Birthday so I just casually booked the hotel online as a surprise for her. I called up the hotel and told them to decorate the room for her. They decorated the room and even prepared a cake for her. As we reached the hotel we were greeted with garlands and a welcome ice lolly. At the reception all the staff wished her a very happy birthday , Then as we were going towards our room all the staff on the way wished her and made her feel sooooo special. I didn't expect that but I was overwhelmed. We had an awesome stay ,food was very good , pool is huge , children's play area is very good, the pool tables and bowling alley is well kept. The staff is the best as from the morning breakfast to dinner they were so polite and helpful. The property views are very good , You can roam around the whole day but still won't get bored. There are ducks , peacocks with some parrots and love birds which are a good timepaas for birdwatchers. The rooms are so very clean and the AC helps us beat the heat. In all it was a very good experience.

It is just as advertised, PALACE. Throughout our stay, we felt like royalties as all staff gave us the warmest greeting at all times. From the compound filled with beautiful garden in every nook, the whole complex is decorated with touches of elegance. The room we stayed was spacious with our own balcony and access to a beautiful garden. We had breakfast at The Grand Buffet where a staff named Sumit were exceptional. The food were also good and we were satisfied. It's definitely a place to return to, again and again.

Visited the hotel for the 3rd time . Our compliments to the Hotel for the excellence in the areas of : Grandeur , Cleanliness , Beautifully maintained lawns , pool , walkways , jogging track etc. The staff right from the concierge to the front desk , house keeping , restaurant personnel were so courteous and humble that it really needs a special mention. Please keep up the good work. You all are perfect ambassadors of the warm Indian Hospitality. However the downside to the visit was the food & beverages served. All meals - lunch , high tea & dinner , were tasteless. A big spread has no value unless the Indian palate is satiated. Sorry to state that the food lacked taste and need to be addressed. Further , during the evening banquet on 11th Oct.@ Deewan E Aam , there were 4 brands of scotch / single malts served - Glenlivet , Glenfiddich , Singleton & JW Gold Label - all of them were spurious - tasteless & bland , finally I had to resort to Beer . The opinion on the quality of liquor was unanimous among all the guests and was bought to the knowledge of the F&B manager present at the venue. Urge the management to kindly look into it. Inspite of the above shortcoming , will continue to stay again in this beautiful property.

Stayed at Jaypee Palace Agra for a night as part of a conference. Excellent property, comfortable rooms, brilliant breakfast! What a lovely experience. The staff was very cordial and always there to guide and help with directions. It is easy to lose way because of multiple blocks, but staff is present everywhere in the hotel. Kudos to the team and thank you for making the stay memorable.

Hotel staff was not cooperative they don’t have patience of any thing the they demand money right now but after money they will not give the services and no cooperation. The staff of reception, housekeeping or kitchen they are not helpful they are not guided in the hotel like that cultural program, magic show etc. if you asked then they will tell you otherwise the staff will not guided. The things are all chargeable even the kids games are also chargeable . The buffet taste was not good and they don’t manage the tourists nicely.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Very Disappointing Experience at JP Hotel Tea Lounge We recently visited the Tea Lounge at JP Hotel and were extremely disappointed with the experience. The staff behaved rudely and showed no respect for customer choice. The tea was served cold, and even after we settled down, we were told that the table was “reserved.” Strangely, there were no other guests present in the lounge at that time. As Army officers, we truly value discipline, respect, and courtesy — qualities that were completely missing from the staff’s behavior. Such treatment towards guests is unacceptable, especially in a reputed hotel. We sincerely hope the management takes strict action and ensures better hospitality training for their staff. Guests deserve to feel welcome, not disrespected.

Hotel Taj Resorts is a charming boutique hotel located just a short walk from the iconic Taj Mahal in Agra. The property offers contemporary and well-equipped rooms, along with two restaurants for guests to enjoy. One of the highlights is the serene rooftop restaurant that provides stunning views of the Taj Mahal. Additionally, guests can relax by the rooftop pool and take in the breathtaking scenery.
I stayed at Taj Resort in Agra and had a wonderful experience. The location is hard to beat, it’s just a short walk from the Taj Mahal, which makes visiting at sunrise or sunset very easy. The rooftop restaurant was a highlight for me, offering great food with an incredible view of the monument. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Service was attentive without being overbearing. The staff were always ready to help, whether it was arranging transport, giving local tips, or making sure everything in the room was perfect. The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt warm and welcoming. It’s not just about the convenience of being close to the Taj Mahal, but also the way the team makes you feel at home. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Agra, whether for a short stay or a longer trip ☺️

The staff was extremely courteous, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Special thanks to the front desk and restaurant team for their warm hospitality. The food at the rooftop restaurant was delicious, with a good variety of Indian and continental dishes. We spent five nights at this hotel and were very impressed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The rooftop restaurant was excellent, the flavours of the food were absolutely marvellous. The location is fantastic, offering great views and convenient access to the Taj Mahal. We also had a marvellous guide arranged by the hotel called Shahid Khan, we’d thoroughly recommend asking for him if you happen to stay here. Our room was directly underneath Reception, so it was a bit noisy around 6:30 in the morning, but otherwise everything was excellent.

I’m really grateful to the entire Hotel Taj Resorts team for making my trip so special and helping fulfill my dream of visiting the Taj Mahal comfortably. Thank you, Hotel Taj Resorts, for your great hospitality! 🙏

Clean and nicely maintained rooms. Their service and customer friendly attitude was very pleasant. They also assisted with taxi booking and tickets for Taj Mahal. Location is very walkable to the east gate of Taj Mahal, which is very convenient, thus avoiding the need for Autos. The Taj view from the roof top was breathtaking, with option of having a roof top dinner. Breakfast spread was very delicious and great. Eggs were made on order and tasted very good. On the contrary, the food I ordered via room service was average. The chicken meat in soup and grilled chicken felt old and stale. The Dal makhani and Rice was top notch and tasted splendid.

Unbeatable location - just a 10 minute walk from the entrance to the Taj Mahal, which is quite useful if you plan to visit at sunrise. It's also really close to the entrance of the Nature Walk, a lovely nature reserve full of elusive birds and beautiful plants. Our room was rather small but the great views from the rooftop terrace and the chance to wind down at the pool more than made up for that. A duo of talented musicians serenaded us during dinner with traditional North Indian music, which beautifully complemented the good food and nice view of the Taj in the distance. If we ever come back to Agra we'll definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for one night and paid nearly ₹5000, but the experience was very disappointing. From the outside, the hotel looks nice, but inside it’s not good at all. At first, we were given an underground room that felt extremely suffocating. After we complained, they changed the room, but the stay didn’t improve much. Although there was running water, the hot water was not warm enough. The towels were very dirty, and even the electric kettle was unclean. We were not given any complimentary breakfast, although many reviews mentioned it was included. One more thing that really bothered us — one of the hotel staff tried to give a rating themselves from our phone. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. For the price they charge, the service, cleanliness were far below expectations. Next day we changed our hotel. We are frequent travelers, but this was one of the most unpleasant stays we’ve ever had. Definitely not worth the money and not recommended for families or elderly guests.
Shrabani T — Google review
The location is excellent, just a short walking distance to the Taj Mahal, which makes early morning visits very convenient, especially for ticketing and beating the crowds. The area around the hotel is also lively, with plenty of food options and local souvenir shopping nearby. The room was good and comfortable, and the staff were very courteous and helpful throughout my stay. A special mention goes to the girl at the reception, whose customer service skills really stood out – she made the check-in smooth and was always ready to assist with a smile. That said, I do feel that cleanliness needs some improvement. The room was a bit dusty at check-in and required additional cleaning, and the bathroom could have been maintained better. These are small details but important ones that would elevate the overall experience. Breakfast was simple but tasty, with a decent spread to start the day. The property also has a rooftop restaurant and pool area with a great view of the Taj, which is a big plus. With its prime location and attentive staff, this property has excellent potential. With a little more attention to cleanliness, it could truly stand out as one of the best options near the Taj Mahal. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to others visiting Agra.

This hotel is located about a ten-minute walk from the East Gate of the Taj Mahal, but my experience here was extremely disappointing. For one night’s stay, I was charged ₹4,725, yet I was given a substandard underground room, which was unacceptable for that price. After requesting a change, I was shifted to another room an hour later — but even that room was far below standard and lacked basic amenities. If it were possible to give less than one star, I certainly would have. I’m giving one star only because zero isn’t an option.

The property pays homage to Mughal grandeur with its landscaped gardens, fountains, intricate architecture mirroring that of the Taj Mahal, and elegant interior decor.
🌟 Perfect Family Getaway in Agra! We had a lovely stay at Trident Hotel, Agra. The room was compact but perfect for our family of three — and for a family of four, we simply added an extra bed. The food, both at the restaurant and through room service, was consistently delicious and always served on time. Evenings were a delight with engaging kids’ activities that our children absolutely loved. The pool was definitely the star of the show — right at the center of the resort and full of energy and fun. The staff was courteous, well-trained, and made us feel completely at ease. The property itself is beautifully maintained and clean throughout. Overall, we had a fantastic and relaxing family vacation — highly recommended!

Here's the updated review: "I had an exceptional experience at the Trident Hotel! From the moment I stepped in, the hospitality was superb. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. I want to extend special thanks to some team members who made our stay truly memorable. A huge thank you to Sumit for helping make surprises for my wife's birthday - it was truly special! Prabhjot at the reception area was always smiling and helpful. Chef Shubham's culinary skills were impressive, and Ashish did a great job taking care of us I'd also like to mention the incredibly talented staff member who would visit my son at breakfast and make pancakes in fun shapes like cars and helicopters - I'm so sorry I didn't catch your name, but your creativity and kindness made our mornings so special! Special mention to Mr. Yuvraj Singh Negi, our last manager who ensured a warm farewell - he personally escorted us to the exit gate and even packed some delightful treats for my baby! Such thoughtful gestures make all the difference. To all the other staff members who contributed to our wonderful experience (even those I might have forgotten to mention by name), thank you for your hard work and dedication. Everything was top-notch, and we felt truly taken care of. The hotel's amenities and services were great, and the overall experience was seamless from entry to exit. Highly recommend!"👍

It’s a well-maintained hotel that I’d be happy to stay at again.

Undoubtedly the best hotel I’ve ever been to! There is a beautiful central courtyard surrounded by the 2-story lodging, consisting of small, cozy, and comfortable rooms. The staff is extremely courteous and kind. Room service is excellent, and the chefs and waiters at the large restaurant gave a very personalized and kind attention to our every need. They made special gluten free sandwiches, gave us a tour of the kitchen (after having us wear appropriate health-code gear), and helped us decorate cupcakes. The outdoor pool is well kept and one can borrow floaties, goggles, trunks, and volleyballs from kiosk right beside it. Overall, the best, coziest, and greenest hotel with the kindest, most courteous and caring staff ever!

Located in the Taj Ganj district, it is close to attractions like the Itmad-ud-Daula Marble Mausoleum and Mehtab Bagh Gardens. The hotel also features a lending library, bar, and entertainment activities. Guests have praised its convenient location and cleanliness.
The rooftop restaurant provides an amazing view of the Taj Mahal. The hotel is of good quality with well maintained rooms. There are various options in food menu. Budget friendly and top quality hotel. Loved it.

I recently hosted a birthday party at their basement hall (Star Chilli), and unfortunately, my experience was very poor. The hall itself was decent, but the AC was not functioning properly, making the environment uncomfortable for our guests. One of the biggest letdowns was the service. Throughout the event, there was no manager or senior staff present—only junior service staff, who seemed untrained and uninterested. We were assigned just 2 staff members to serve 5 different starters, and their service was extremely slow and inattentive. Several times, I noticed them sitting in the kitchen and even eating from the serving bowls, which was very unprofessional and unhygienic. After repeatedly raising concerns and making a lot of noise, they assigned 3rd staff member to help with serving, but the service did not improve. Many guests were left waiting for food, and some items were not served at all. The main course was also disappointing. The menu was supposed to include a variety of breads—tandoori roti, missi roti, laccha paratha, and stuffed naan. However, only tandoori roti was available initially. Missi roti was served only after most guests had finished eating, and laccha paratha and stuffed naan were never served, despite being promised in advance. I was extremely disappointed with the poor service and lack of professionalism. The staff seemed more interested in helping themselves to the food than serving the guests. I felt let down and would not recommend this hotel for any event or gathering. If you are considering hosting an event here, I would suggest looking elsewhere. The service quality and staff behavior do not match the promises made during booking.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say, it was far from what I expected, especially considering the price. The bathrooms are incredibly outdated and in dire need of renovations. It felt like I was staying in a space that hadn’t been maintained in years. Additionally, there was no lock inside the room, which made me feel uncomfortable, as I couldn’t help but wonder if someone with a key could access the room while I was sleeping. One of the most frustrating parts of my stay was the lack of hot water after 11 PM. If you’re planning to visit the Taj Mahal early in the morning, you’ll be forced to go without a hot shower since the water doesn’t warm up until 6 AM. It’s definitely inconvenient for those who want to start their day fresh. To top it off, mosquitoes were a constant nuisance. I had to deal with them throughout my stay, which made it even harder to relax. Overall, this hotel didn’t meet expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend it. There are definitely better options available in the area that offer better value for money.

The rooms were very small according to the price.. There are 2 types of rooms which are exactly the same just a difference of mirror is there, but the room with mirror is 1000rs costlier than the other which is not at all reasonable. The food was also not at all up to the mark. The service and behaviour of staffs was good.
Ritika C — Google review
Hotel room is very clean and well maintained. And staff behaviour is very good, I loved it.
Cool K — Google review
Hotel is very old and not maintained at all. During our stay, the entire second floor and reception area smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The bathroom is old, rusty and moldy. On the first day, we even argued for slippers and a dental kit, but we didn't receive one. We didn’t even receive the complimentary water bottles. They charged extra for bottles. Overall it’s a below average room and not worth the money spent. Not recommended at all.

Grand Mercure Agra, located in the Taj Ganj district, is a top choice for travelers. The rooms are well-equipped with modern amenities and offer a comfortable stay. The hotel staff provides exceptional service, ensuring a personalized experience for guests. With its convenient location and excellent hospitality, Grand Mercure Agra is an ideal accommodation option for those visiting Agra.
We had a truly wonderful experience at Grand Mercure Agra, and I can’t thank the team enough for their outstanding hospitality. We were traveling with my elderly father and our 1-year-old son, so comfort and care were our top priorities – and the staff exceeded our expectations in every way. A special thanks to the duty manager, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth and quick check-in around 10:30 AM, understanding our situation and accommodating our early arrival without hesitation. It made a huge difference after a long journey. Throughout our stay, the sous chef was incredibly kind and attentive during breakfast, lunch, and dinner, consistently checking in on our needs and ensuring we had everything we needed. It was a lovely personal touch that made us feel truly welcomed. One of the most heartwarming gestures was when our little one got cranky during a meal, and the team offered him a chocolate, which instantly lifted his mood. Small details like this demonstrate how deeply the staff cares about their guests' comfort, especially families with young children. We also received a small welcome gift, which was such a thoughtful gesture and added a special touch to our experience. Overall, the stay was memorable not just because of the beautiful property and great location, but because of the genuinely caring and attentive people who work there. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a warm and welcoming stay in Agra.

I stayed at Grand Mercure Agra on 02/10/2025. The hotel has a very good location, close to the Taj Mahal. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the ambience was pleasant. The staff was polite and welcoming. However, the breakfast service was a bit slow and some facilities could be better maintained. I would suggest improving the response time of room service and ensuring everything is ready for guests on arrival. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend this hotel to others visiting Agra.

My first stay at The Grand Mercure and I loved every moment. The wonderful service provided right at the check in by CHAITANYA was so flawless. I have Travelled across the country and I've stayed at many hotels but the service here was impeccable. The rooms are well done. The food is lovely. The breakfast options are good. I will come back!

Nice hotel providing view of the taj from some rooms. The service is also good and we enjoyed the terrace (swimming and bar) at evening. They’ve got multiple restaurants in the property and we liked the food spread. This hotel is frequented by foreigners as well so the food spread is Indian + continental. Overall very good stay and services.
Ashish P — Google review
It was a perfect trip one can plan as a 1 day get away from all the rush hour works. The hotel is like a true 5 star experience, starting from the entry, the free upgradation of room to one with bathtub, the rooftop Taj Mahal view, the dining buffet and the morning breakfast buffet. The hospitality from the staff, the manager, the room service and even at the pool is true 5 star package. Overall a perfect place to plan a visit when coming to Agra.
Manan M — Google review
Stayed for couple of days during a leisure visit to Agra, the rooms were nice and big , the staff was courteous and the breakfast spread was delicious. Its central location and proximity to Taj makes it ideal for tourists. Could not use many amenities as it was a short stay but whatever little I could, was satisfactory.
Sanjay T — Google review
I had a very disappointing experience at Grand Mercure Agra. The overall service was far below expectations for a reputed hotel. One of the staff members, Sohel, was extremely unprofessional and behaved very rudely. His attitude and lack of basic courtesy completely ruined the stay. For a hotel that claims to offer premium hospitality, the behavior of the staff was shocking. It felt like they have no respect or regard for guests. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant or professional experience in Agra. There are many better options nearby where you’ll be treated with dignity and proper service — avoid this place if you want a stress-free stay.

For 3 bed room 2nd room booking name :- sadre alam . 3rd booking name - Chand mohd I had booked a room at Grand Mercure Agra for 3 people, and it was clearly mentioned that we needed 3 beds. However, when we checked in, only two beds were provided. Despite informing the hotel staff multiple times, Mr. Sohil, the manager, was extremely rude and unhelpful. We had to wait until after 1:00 AM to finally receive the third bed, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this level. Instead of apologizing or assisting us properly, Mr. Sohil spoke very badly with us and showed no sense of responsibility or basic courtesy. His unprofessional behavior and poor attitude ruined our stay. The rest of the staff tried to help, but the manager's behavior left a very bad impression. For anyone planning to stay here – be careful. If this is how they treat their guests, it’s not worth the money or the stress.

This hotel is incredible! The staff made me feel at home and they surprised me with a birthday cake for my birthday. Chefs curate the best dishes. Starting from the outside gardens and swimming pool and the inside of the hotel is work of art. Rooms are spacious modern perfectly clean and beautifully decorated. I’m very impressed and the prices are very affordable for this highest standard. Can’t recommend enough!

Stayed at Saura from 12th October to 14th October. Had a pleasant stay. Service was good and staff polite. Rented the hotel recommended Prime Adventures cab for our daily tour trips and pick up and drop from Agra Cantt railway station. Very good. We did 2 daily day tours: Mathura and Vrindavan on the 13th October and The Agra city trip on the 14th October. The driver of Prime Adventures, Sachin Sharma recommended we start at 5:30 AM both days. It was good we went by his advice. Mathura Gokul first thing in the morning of 13th October. Was good. We reached Vrindavan around 9Am. It was crowded. My wife and me both Senior Citizens, got separated a couple of times. The Banke Bihari temple is in a congested zone. Crowd handling was non existent. Reverent devotees, just to get a glimpse of the Diety were pushing physically and frantically. A recipe for a Stampede. Both of us gave up the idea of having a Darshan and just walked back to safety. I brought this up because we were on a Club Mahindra organised tour. Any mishap and Club Mahindra will be held responsible. The 2nd day tour of the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Baby Taj was a pleasant experience. Good memories that we will cherish. Jagannathan Sathyamoorthy

The hotel boasts modern interiors and large windows offering breathtaking views of the Taj Mahal, making it an ideal place for both families and couples.
My overall experience of staying in Raddisson was exempelery. Apart from their normal routine they had fun activities planned for kids to keep them engaged. My kid enjoyed the pottery making experience and playing instruments with the live artists and also puppet show!! Hotel staff is extremely courteous and polite. They went out of their way to make our dining experience comfortable and enjoyable. All wore smiles on their face all throughout!! Kudos to the team. Food could be a little less spicer for the kids. We had a long journey since previous day afternoon. Jannat was so helpful in the check in process and helped us get an early check in, it was amazing since we were really tired. Ahad was always there to help with our small requests with a welcoming smile in his face. Hina was always helpful with best hours for visiting local attractions and suggesting for good local restaurants. Chef Sachin explained us all the local dishes in the breakfast and even went beyond our expectations. In Room Dining food and the service was amazing, the dum biriyani in any flavor will blow your mind. Overall experience was excellent however, there should be more attention to noise complaints. Also, we wish to see more smiles from the team as this country is famous for beautiful smiles.

We checked in on the middle of the night and were very well taken care of by all the staff. Also the breakfast contained so many different and delicious foods. My friend from Sweden loved the various Indian items on the menu. Priyanshu took good care of us and our needs and made the breakfast experience much better.
Dhiviya 9 — Google review
The Radisson Hotel Agra turned out to be such a pleasant surprise — a comfortable, well-managed stay that perfectly balanced convenience, good service, and a touch of charm. One of my favorite moments was definitely at the rooftop pool — from there, you can spot the Taj Mahal in the distance, glowing softly during sunrise and even more magical at sunset. It’s not a close-up view, but still a lovely reminder that you’re in the city of the Taj. The location couldn’t be better. The hotel sits right on Fatehabad Road, which is basically Agra’s main tourist strip. The Taj Mahal is just about 2 km away, and Agra Fort is around 4.5 km — both super easy to reach. Even Fatehpur Sikri, though an hour’s drive, makes for a comfortable day trip if you plan ahead. My room was spacious and clean, with all the modern touches you’d expect. The staff were genuinely polite and attentive — always ready to help with a smile. And the breakfast buffet? Excellent! A wide mix of Indian and continental dishes, perfect to fuel up before a day of sightseeing. For meals, I tried a bit of everything — Oasis Restaurant for casual dining, Henry’s Bar for a relaxed drink, and Wonder Terrace Kitchen for an open-air grill dinner with the Taj shimmering faintly in the backdrop. If I had to nitpick, the “Taj view” is more of a silhouette than a clear sight, and my key card gave me trouble a few times. Plus, one night got a bit noisy past midnight — you could hear people chatting in the hallway, so I think the soundproofing could be improved. Still, those were small hiccups in an otherwise great experience. Overall, I’d say Radisson Agra is a fantastic mid-range choice — perfect for couples or travelers who want comfort, good food, and proximity to the Taj Mahal without breaking the bank.

The hotel offers top-notch hospitality, delectable cuisine, and a coffee shop. Guests can enjoy an outdoor pool, spa facilities, and various indoor games.
Our recent stay at Hotel Clarks Shiraz was an excellent experience. Located conveniently near the Taj Mahal, the hotel offers a luxurious yet comfortable experience ideal for both families and couples. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality of the staff stood out. The front desk team was warm, welcoming, and quick with check-in. Special thanks to Mr Sonu Sharma and his team who were always courteous and ready to assist with any request — whether it was arranging transport, managing luggage, or providing local guidance. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, offering a great view and a peaceful ambiance. The swimming pool area was well-maintained and perfect for a relaxing afternoon. The hotel also follows proper hygiene protocols, which made us feel very safe and cared for. Food at the in-house restaurants was another highlight. The buffet spread offered a wide variety of Indian and continental dishes, all delicious and freshly prepared. The restaurant staff were attentive and ensured we were well looked after. Overall, Clarks Shiraz combines old-world charm with modern comfort and exceptional service. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Agra, especially for those looking to relax in a premium setting after sightseeing.

Well, it was my first visit in Clark Shiraz. In comparison to Raddison, Agra. I’ll prefer this one in terms of value of money (might be either due to off season & packages available). Rooms are standard as per all other 3/4/5 stars hotel chains except Trident & Taj (Agra). Had no issue with staff behavior, cleanliness, service at hotel as lot of reviews shared. Yes, hotel is old as per its presence. Dinner items were limited but taste was perfect for us (salt, spice & ingredients). Few common dishes were missing as post asking came to know that usually these are not a part of their buffet in comparison to other hotels. Same with breakfast but had no complaints. Reason for 4 star rating is their swimming pool which depends upon person to person experience. I found it little bit unsafe in terms of construction but best part was diver/swimming helper was available to compensate that.

The kitchen & dinning staff were friendly and very accommodating to our needs. For evening meal our server dished out our vegetable biriyani onto our plate nicely. The food was tasty & fresh. Hotel concierge assisted us with a tour guide for Taj Mahal. The guide Lucky was very knowledgeable and knew where to go for all the best photos at the Taj. After we went to visit a hand woven Kashmiri rug store. Beautiful hand woven rugs made by local women. Make sure you don’t get a room near the elevator too much noise at night. We stayed here for 2 nights. Housekeeping staff could improve in cleaning the showers better in between guests and replenishing the hand towels better. This feedback was brought to the attention of hotel clerk during our stay too.

A great place to stay while in Agra. The staff are lovely, rooms are cool and comfortable and the restaurant attached to the hotel has excellent food. The rooms have air conditioning, showers have good pressure and are all very clean. Being a little bit out of town means the area is less chaotic and touristy - so it’s nice to escape the hustle and bustle of the main town area.

Worst hotel experience ever – avoid Hotel Alleviate, Agra I booked extra rooms in advance for my family, but the hotel still tried to squeeze more money from us by claiming my family member was just a “guest” and forcing us to pay extra—even though there was clearly enough space and our booking already covered everyone. The rules here seem to change on a whim, and the staff have no interest in basic hospitality. Instead of helping guests, they were rude, unhelpful, and only interested in charging more for no reason. It's clear this hotel makes up its own rules to maximize profit, not guest comfort. I strongly recommend staying away from Hotel Alleviate. There are plenty of better hotels in Agra that know how to treat guests with respect and honor reservations honestly.

Nice location on a Main Road, getting public transport easily. Clean room, lovely hospitality by cooperative staff. Only thing that they don't give late check out more than 1 hr. Rest everything fine

This hotel was beyond our expectation. The rooms were spotless and everything functioned, the restaurant was delicious and service always attentive. The manager Daya Shankar was always available for our individuals needs...and always with a smile. I recommend staying here

I came across this hotel while touring around Agra - the name and location really stuck with me because it was so easy to spot. When I decided to extend my stay, I looked it up on Agoda and booked it right away. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I truly enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Agra.

Excellent hotel services worth the price . Magnificent view from the rooftop where you get to see all the three monuments of Agra. Mr Daya the manager was nice. Mr Sudip and other staff at the roof top provided very professional and excellent services.

Had a good time here. The rooftop bar was a vibe and a great view of both the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. The staff were very hospitable and friendly. They were very attentive to us and encouraged us to try some new drinks and food. The lamb Handi Briyani and the Jamaican drink were superb. Thank you Mr. Sudip.

Atithi Hotel is My Nightmare My stay at Atithi Hotel was beyond disappointing. Towels were yellow like turmeric, which was absolutely revolting. The bedding felt like something out of a cheap dormitory. The bathroom was no better—it resembled a railway station toilet, filthy and poorly maintained. Hygiene and cleanliness were non-existent, making the entire experience unbearable. To top it all off, they didn’t even have an iron available anywhere in the hotel. How is any professional supposed to stay here and attend meetings looking presentable? The service was equally terrible—unresponsive and careless. This place is not fit for business or leisure travelers. Avoid at all costs!

Worst Hotel Experience Ever (Big No To This Hotel) This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever visited. The rooms smelled terrible, the bedsheets were dirty, and overall hygiene was completely lacking. I strongly advise against staying at Hotel Athiti. Think a hundred times before booking — you will regret it otherwise.

The best thing is the location and the private ghat. Food quality is good. The complimentary breakfast has very limited items. Things to improve: This property is in need of some renovation. In my room there were damp walls, also the water pressure in the bathroom was extremely low.

Rooms are pathetic!!! As soon as we opened the toilet lid, there were feces floating in the toilet!! Curtains of the room were falling apart. Room had debris and dust. When we told about all these issues regarding the room, the staff was very unconcerned about this issue and didn't even tried to help us!! Stay away from this hotel and it's pics on Google...

Nestled in the heart of Agra, the Grand Hotel is a modern haven that seamlessly blends comfort with convenience. This family-friendly establishment boasts spacious rooms and suites, designed to provide a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of home. With its colonial architecture and serene ambiance, it’s an ideal choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking relaxation. The hotel features top-notch amenities including a restaurant and fitness room, ensuring guests have everything they need at their fingertips.
I recently stayed at The Grand Hotel in Agra during my trip with my architecture college, CTEs, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and service were top-notch. The hotel’s location is very convenient, being close to the major attractions, including the Taj Mahal, making it perfect for both tourists and those on educational trips. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, with modern amenities that ensured a relaxing stay after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure all our needs were met, offering excellent customer service throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the hotel’s dining options. The food was delicious, offering a great variety of both local and international dishes. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting, and it was a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, The Grand Hotel Agra exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, service, and location. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Agra, whether for leisure or business. It certainly made our trip more enjoyable, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. A loud party was happening in the hall right in front of my room during my sleeping hours, making it impossible to rest. The management did nothing to control the noise. On top of that, the hygiene was disappointing—towels and bathrooms were not clean. There was no soap or even a dental kit provided, which is basic in any decent hotel.

Staff behavior is good. Room cleanliness to be improved. In first floor there are mosquito issues. During our stay there are some marriage function , around 11.45 PM there are drums sound all along the hotel. Extra bed without cot is offered .Over all Ok. but mgt could improve the stay comfort

Location is good, if you are seeing for Taj Mahal visit(5 km from hotel), it is budget property for family and food is good. Laundry service, extra mattress, room serving are chargeable. Overall experience is good, but hotel outer face is not so like a hotel although rooms are good and clean. In winter kindly provide a blanket which feels luxurious hotel (it is advisable).

Sorry to say that at present I'm at room no.204, but when I came earlier I was so satisfied by the glamour and hence, presently came with my family and comparing the present position I'm totally disappointed. After my check in to till now, loud music is being played whole day which seems that the hotel management made the hotel a marriage destination and not at all interested in highly paid customers. I would suggest people that if they want peace and relaxation then they should avoid this hotel. Even the rooms are not properly maintained. Disappointment..... ***Sorry to say , my room was booked through "Make my trip".

Sorry to say and writing the review 1st time because I have visited 3 to 4 times for seeing budget hotel and there where no nearby places to stay. Last 3-4 times when I visited and complained the owner as well as staff that rooms are not clean , all dirty pillow and bedsheets covers he said Will send room boy but no one has turned up. I visit with family for darshan to temple for which I selected this hotel. 3-4 times when I visited, owner asked for excuse but this time again when I visited with family he has responded very bad. When I checked in I ordered for a cup of tea which taste was not at all good. Then, I complained about the room which was also not cleaned , bedsheet and pillows covers were dirty. Inspite telling staff to replace to new bedsheets and pillow cover ,The owner told me to getout of the hotel. With in couple of seconds I vacated the hotel with my family. Very very rude fellow he has degraded me before my wife. I Will never come to this hotel in my lifetime and will never never recommend this hotel to anyone. This hotel is not recommended for families. This was the experience I shared and reviewed.

Disappointing Experience at Taj Plaza Hotel, Agra I was very excited to stay at this hotel, but my excitement quickly turned to disappointment as soon as I saw the room. The room and washroom were far below expectations, lacking basic hygiene and cleanliness. This is definitely not a place for anyone who values a clean and well-maintained environment. The blankets on the bed were of poor quality and felt cheap, adding to the overall discomfort. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and hygienic stay.

5 min walk from Taj Mahal East Gate. The food was delicious served at the hotel restaurant, we had dinner, breakfast, tea with snacks every single meal was delicious. The staff's behaviour was polite. The room was neat and clean. The bathroom could have been better, the owner said they are working to renovate. Amazing view of Taj from the terrace where they have an outdoor restaurant. Ample parking, the hotel was decorated beautifully.

Didn’t even end up staying here…. Rooms looked ok, location was great, was ready to book online, but why we didn’t stay there was because at the desk they were trying to over charge us, online said 1400 they were staying 1800, and wouldn’t ACCEPT the booking from THEIR OFFICIAL WEBSITE. Said you could try and book but they might not accept it, and if they don’t accept it you lose you money, Unless once again pay the extra money to them directly. You lost business there. And to answer the owners question, I left a review because you are ripping foreigners off

Their willingness to assist with any inquiries or requests was commendable. The food served at the hotel was consistently good, offering a variety of options to suit different tastes. Please thoroughly read the reviews before staying here. Avoid this hotel at all costs! Our stay at Taj Villa Agra was a nightmare from start to finish. The bedsheets and pillowcases were filthy, and the entire place was overrun with mosquitoes, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. Despite having paid for breakfast, the staff refused to serve us eggs, which was highly unprofessional and disappointing. To make matters worse, the hotel staff were often found lounging on the staircase, glued to their phones, instead of attending to guests. We would have checked out immediately if other rooms had been available nearby. This was a horrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

No maintenance, only appearance is good, bathroom was clogged with water, don't eat food in the restaurant, fell sick as the fish served was stale and fried rice was horrible, wasted all the food but the staff refused to give refund.... spoiled our holiday experience. The rooms were compact but nice. The only improvement would be the breakfast, the options are quite limited to cereals, egg/toast, parantha and puri/bhaji. It would be good to add fresh fruit and a couple of more options. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is good, just a stroll away from the shopping area.

I stayed with family for a night. The rooms were compact but nice. However in accomodating an extra bed one sofa chair and centre table has to be taken out of room. Since the area of property is small so rooms are also small. The staff is helpful and cooperative. In the breakfast options are quite limited. It would be good to add a couple of more options and improve the quality. Though the location is pretty good, just a stroll away from the shopping area and good restaurants like The Salt Caffe & Pind Baluchi... but being on the back lane sometimes it became congested and was difficult to reach there by car. Overall a nice accommodation in budgeted price.

Good hotel, with clean comfortable rooms, and a location that's pretty close to the Taj Mahal. The shower was warm, although only for 1min or so. We only stayed one night, and it had what we needed. The Orchid Retreat is a guesthouse in Agra, conveniently located near the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. It has received high ratings for its location, cleanliness, and overall experience. The property features one bedroom and one bathroom, suitable for up to three guests. Amenities include a restaurant, Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, parking, internet access, air conditioning, and housekeeping. Guests have praised the staff for their excellent service and helpfulness.
Had a Wonderful experience at the little orchid home stay. The rooms are very modern and well provided for although a little bit of maintenance like the de-calcification of the shower head would have improved it further. Service was top notch and Vikrant is really helpful in providing us with recommendations on how to plan our itinerary and suggestions on how to not fall for some of the common “scams” in Agra. Really appreciated the complimentary bottled water and newspapers provided daily. The best thing which made me gave it 5 stars is the food! If you stay here please don’t look anywhere else to try some really good home cooked Indian food. Expect for two occasions we always ate at the home stay. The food is delicious, hygienic and not expensive at all. We got the room with the “garden” view which had a view to the park near by and was very quiet. You could hear the birds sing in the morning. Overall totally recommend this lovely home stay!!

The Orchid Retreat in Agra has been the best accommodation we’ve had so far on our trip! It’s a beautiful, family-run place, and we had the pleasure of meeting the whole family – everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly. Even the family dog was an absolute bonus and made us feel even more at home! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. We were also able to order food directly at the retreat – it was super affordable and absolutely delicious. We ended up eating there multiple times because we enjoyed it so much. What really stood out, too, was how helpful the family was. They gave us excellent tips for visiting the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, which made our sightseeing experience even better. We truly felt like guests, not just customers. We can recommend this place 1000%! If you’re visiting Agra, don’t miss staying at The Orchid Retreat – it’s a true hidden gem.

Review of Room 104: The room is basic, but it meets all expectations. Still, some maintenance might be a good idea. That said, we were absolutely thrilled with this accommodation! Not so much because of the facilities, but because of the staff and their attitude. Everything was simply perfect! They were extra helpful, extra kind, extra... I don’t even know what else. And the cherry on top? The food! Yes, it's more expensive on-site than elsewhere, but the comfort of choosing from such a wide variety of meals — and so incredibly delicious — is totally worth it!

A very good impression left by this family guest house for my late junuary 2025 three nights stay there, very near to the Taj Mahal in a quiet area. The decoration of the hotel is very nice with relaxing running waters at first floor, and give an impression of good if not almost new condition. As for the room ("single"), it was very clean, with a window over the (calm) street and neighborhood, air conditionned, simple but at the same time almost "luxurious" in its presentation with everything needed, spacious and the king size bed was comfortable. I was sick during my time spent there, couldn't move too much and the owner Mr Vikrant Puri and his lovely family were very understanding, careful and warm to me regarding my condition, taking regular news and giving me help to arrange my transportation back to Delhi. Affordable place moreover. I of course recommend this welcoming stay in Agra. Merci encore M.Puri, Namaste.

It was an exceptionally great and memorable stay at Vikrant's Orchid Retreat on my visit to Agra with family. The homely food served to us was so delicious and hygienic. Staff at the home stay was very kind and helpful. A reasonable and safe transport arrangement was offered to us by Mr. Vikrant on our complete stay which was very helpful to us for visting all the beautiful monuments there. Mr. Asif the driver for our transport was very kind and helpful to us. I highly recommend this stay to everyone who visits Agra for holidays.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. We arrived later than our estimated time, close to midnight but he was still awake, waiting for us with a smile, and made sure we were settled in comfortably. That kind of hospitality is truly appreciated! There were great options for breakfast and lunch, including parathas as part of a delicious home-cooked meal prepared by his wife and mother. The food was absolutely incredible, rich in authentic flavours and warmth. While it's slightly on the pricier side, the quality, taste, and comfort of homemade food made it worth it. A big thank you to Vikrant, who was exceptionally helpful throughout our trip. He arranged a cab for us to explore Agra and nearby places, and even helped us put together a short itinerary so we didn’t miss out on the key sights. His local tips and planning support were invaluable! The rooms were immaculately clean, with comfortable beds, fresh linen, and a peaceful ambiance. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully set up. If you are visiting Agra and looking for a place that combines great service, local hospitality, and comfort, this is the perfect stay. Hotel Kamal in Agra is a 2-star property located just 0.3 km from the Taj Mahal Garden and 7 km from the Mehtab Bagh Gardens. The hotel offers 20 guestrooms with amenities like cable channels, balcony, and work desk. It's situated in the Taj Ganj district with easy access to the Great Gate. The hotel provides simple rooms with comfortable beds and WiFi in select rooms.
The location is the very best, only a 5 min walk from the gates of the Taj Mahal! As foreigners from the United States, the hotel room accommodations were very good. The food prepared by the hotel owners was delicious, hygienic, and home cooked, truly incredible all around. The hotel rooms were very clean with no bugs at all. The showers were amazing with hot, high pressure water for long showers. Beds and pillows were very comfortable for sound sleep. The owners were very friendly. No need to stay or eat anywhere else in Agra; we found everything we needed here! 5 out of 5 stars, impeccable accommodations.

I would give it a 3.5...The service was amazing, from the time we entered we were greeted with smile and warmth of the floor managers, the food served were delicious, finger licking good with the view of the Taj Mahal.....if you are coming with friends or on a tight budget i would recommend it, but not with family or couple, specially in your group someone has OCD....the Rooms could be renovated and done better..

Since our train arrived early morning, he understood our concern and since our room was vacant, he allowed us to check in early. The room, bed, washroom everything looked good. Pleasant experience.

This 2-star hotel is located in Agra, close to the Sheesh Mahal and the Mughal style white Itmad-ud-Daula Marble Mausoleum. The hotel comprises 20 comfortable rooms with a/c and views of the city. It also offers free breakfast and parking. Dogs are allowed at this hotel, which makes it one of the most pet friendly hotels near Agra.
Hotel staff is very supportive. Rooms are big with hot water facility during winter season. The best thing is location, from this hotel Agra Fort is about 2.5 km only. You can easily get good food from the NamNer market(this Hotel location).

I will recommend to expend little more money to get a better place to stay. This hotel is very very dirty place to stay. Rooms are very smelly. Its hard to breathe here. I barely slept in night. Flush in bathroom doesn’t work. Water in washroom was so muddy and dirty to be used. Not a drop of water to drink was available. I will never recommend anyone to stay here due to its cheap price. I’m only writing this so that others don’t have to face the problems that I faced there.
Avaneesh C — Google review
If possible, I'd have given zero stars... I'd recommend NOT TO STAY there. The place is all dirty (room, bathroom, bedsheets). Broken wall sockets, no light in bathroom. And terrible smell during the night from the open canalisation outside (...and it is not possible to fully close the windows in the room). Disgusting. Ignorant stuff - we asked for at least clean bedlinen, they just ignored us...only showing us another room that was even worse. Previously we stayed for the fame budget in Tajganj - of course no luxury for that money, still much better than this crap.
Pavel Š — Google review
Very bad conditions of room 1) bad smell always come from room. 2)No power back up 3) scarcity of water in wash room(everytime we had to remind the owner to switch on water pump) 4) no bedsheets and pillow cover 5) tap n shawer were broken. 6)whole room was dusty . no cleaning of room since month

Located within walking distance of the Taj Mahal, this purpose-built homestay offers a warm welcome, home-cooked meals, and valuable advice on exploring the city. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi, outdoor seating in the beautiful gardens, and a magical atmosphere.
A lovely and tranquil garden hotel with basic, clean rooms and tasty food. The host family is warm and welcoming and it was the perfect base for a quick visit to the Taj Mahal, which is right down the street and an easy walk.
Leah B — Google review
Coral Tree has been decorated in lovely vibrant colours, lots of beautiful artefacts everywhere. Our room was spotless & the breakfast was nice, we didn’t try dinner. We were expecting warm, friendly hosts however, the lady I believe to be the owner didn’t try to make any conversation, I don’t know whether she was unwell, but her nor her staff lived up to their reputation from previous reviews. Whilst the service was prompt & the staff weren’t rude, they weren’t what we would class as friendly compared to other places we have stayed & at times made us feel like we were imposing - the friendliest staff members were the lady cooking the breakfast & 1 of the young girls that was working there.
Nina C — Google review
Simple but very charming house with large bedrooms and bathrooms, very well maintained. The lady owner welcomes you warmly. Nice little garden where you are taking meals, specially a delicious vegetarian dinner. Excellent location 10-15 min walking from Taj East Gate. Colorful decoration.

This is a really friendly place to stay. So near the Taj Mahal and a lovely park. Food all home cooked. A very safe area to stay I stayed there while my friend continued travelling. The perfect place to relax in the tranquil garden away from the hustle and bustle Unfortunately I fell over, my own fault not looking where I was walking the owner was so helpful taking me to the x ray unit where I had excellent treatment at local prices. Much quicker than in the UK, in less than 30 minutes I had an xray and given advice on what to do. I would definitely recommend this Homestay go there and be immersed in the hospitality of Vandna and Gopal and their excellent staff.

Coral Tree is an excellent family owned guest house within a short walk of the Taj Mahal. The building is in tasteful classic style and boasts a beautiful, secluded, tropical garden where meals can be served. I found the rooms very clean and well appointed, with good modern plumbing which worked well, as well as effective AC Staff were very helpful and breakfasts were delicious. I didn't try other meals, but fellow guests who did told me they were delicious. Altogether, the best place I have stayed in India.
Mark D — Google review
Service - overall friendly and helpful. They helped with our taxi to Jaipur. However we were not satisfied with the driver nor the car itself. Rooms - the room is cozy and pretty good size. Don’t forget to turn on the heater when showering! Cleanliness - we thought it was clean. Amenities - wifi works Breakfast - was okay-ish. We did loved the home made dinner. Very delicious and we had such a great time with the other guests. Location - perfect to visit the Taj Mahal. 15-20 minutes stroll. Price - very fair
Soraia A — Google review
Absolutely magical place. We were treated like absolute gold here. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. The even lit a bonfire for us in the garden which made it even more special! Highly recommend this place...it's also a 600m walk to the east gate entrance to the Taj Mahal and the owner is so nice! Really well spoken and easy to get along with. Beds were comfortable, my only peeve if i had to be picky was that the hot water didn't really last long and the shower tap could be better. But honestly stop looking at accommodation and book here, I guarantee you won't be disappointed! Highly recommended
Jason C — Google review
Owned by a lovely family they were very nice and friendly. When we booked we were not aware it was vegetarian meals only, not our choice really so a bit disappointed and certainly didn't eat much. Our room on the second floor by means of a staircase which unfortunately was poorly lit in two areas. Room was spacious but lacking a few touches, no sink plug, no tissues, wardrobe full of bed linen pillows, duvets so little room if you needed to use it. Breakfast was okay but like dinner you had to share the table with up to about 8 others not ideal in my opinion.

We stayed for just 1 Night as our plan was to only visit Taj Mahal and the Hotel is very close to it ( Just 5 mins to East Gate ). They made our stay so comfortable and so cozy. First of all, we got our room as early as 12.30 PM when we reached there which is early than the usual Check In Time i.e. 2PM.. Kudos to the team!! The room was very clean and well maintained. In dining food and breakfast was so well prepared and well served. Staff, Receptionist, Guards all so well behaved and courteous.. Thank You for the hospitality!!

Royale Sarovar Portico Agra – 4/5 My stay at Royale Sarovar Portico in Agra was overall a pleasant experience, and I would give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The hotel rooms were comfortable and met our basic needs. While they were decent in terms of cleanliness and decor, the washroom door could use some improvement. It didn't feel quite as sturdy as I would have expected from a place of this caliber. However, the standout feature of this hotel was the staff. Deepak and Komal were exceptional, constantly going out of their way to ensure our comfort and assisting with car service whenever we needed it. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The food at the hotel was amazing! We had some fantastic meals throughout our stay, and the service was top-notch. A big shoutout to Priti, Anit, Kamal, Prahlad, Pardeep, and KP, who made sure we were always well taken care of. They were incredibly attentive and always ready to help with anything we needed, including providing us with great tips about local markets and general information about the city. Overall, while the rooms could use a bit of attention, the excellent service, delicious food, and helpful staff more than made up for it. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting Agra!

I stayed at Royal Sarovar Portico for 2 days during my visit to the Taj, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The hotel is perfect for a family stay — clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The breakfast and dinner were really impressive, with a great variety of delicious options. I also got a chance to use the swimming pool, which was very well maintained. Although I forgot to bring my swimwear, I was able to purchase one from the spa area, and luckily, I found the perfect size! Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area

We stayed for one night at Royale Sarovar Portico during our visit to Agra. The hotel is a relatively small property, but the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The housekeeping team provided excellent service, and we appreciated their promptness and attention to detail. Breakfast had limited options, but the food served was fresh and tasty. Overall, it was a good and budget-friendly stay — ideal for short visits to the city.

Overall it was great stay for one night. The rooms were more spacious for single occupancy. The food quality was as per instructions and tasty. The rooms were clean and neat maintained. The staff was well trained and experienced. Check in and check out was faster. It’s nearby Taj Mahal so have much nearby activities to travel and explore.
Arvind K — Google review
Had stayed at the hotel for 4 days during my visit to Agra, the hotel has a good location and is well connected to all the places to visit. The staff were friendly and supportive. The dining experience at their restaurant was good. Bar, swimming pool, spa and small fitness place is also available.
David M — Google review
A decent option near Taj East gate. The rooms are slightly smaller than expected, the bathrooms are compact too. Service is good. The biggest pain is the restaurant which is a little too small, just not sufficient to handle the guest crowds during breakfast. During my stay there were two weddings in the property thus hosting about 40+ people from both the groups. It became a nightmare when everyone descended to the restaurant at ground floor, service went for a toss, several dishes were not replenished - leading to a painful experience. Overall, the property felt more like a Treebo instead of a Sarovar. Not staying there again.

My stay was for 2 days but I have to shift the room after a day because the room, the linens, washroom, all the things that you see are dirty and filthy. The mattress had spring worn out and not comfortable at all. I had already paid hence he was not willing to give my money back so I had to stay. My brother came to meet me but they did not allowed him come to my room. The staff were very rude and misbehaved. DO NOT STAY IN THE HOTEL. Later I realised that it was only me and all the other rooms were vacant.

Lot of guys around and drinkers food was very cold and even do not try that food at all. Worst trip i ever had in my live i had visited 27 countries but this place was worst place i ever been to.

We have taken two rooms for one night at this hotel from 11th Oct to 12th Oct. Pathetic hotel , very dirty and very unprofessional staff. Only one cook in the hotel. Even he doesn't know to make soup. We have ordered Mancow soup, it was just boiled water with some choped garlic and no vegetables and they charged 170 for this. When I complained they told We can't cancel this and insist fto pay. After staying here I realized that wh6 only our rooms were occupied and all others room were empty. Very bad and disappointing service. As per my experience it's better to avoid this hotel

I still didn't wanted to give a one star. In our wardrobe one dusty pillow is kept and on bed dusty cloth, when I requested to remove it they said "let it be".I requested staff to purchase brush and tongue cleaner and they costed that thing of 30 rs of 60. Beds are so un-hygenic. In bathroom flash was not proper they fixed later in three of our room gyesers, tvs, a.c and telephone are not working, taps are not proper, leakage is there. In one room dustbin is not there. Promised Wi-Fi was not there.I will not recommend to stay.

Room could have been cleaner than it was . Bedsheets needed to be washed . Food was not that good either . One particular short coming was the size or amount of food in a portion . I ordered two aloo Paratha , which I received in time , but .....it was so thin ...like the potato was on diet . You could feel some potato flavoured something in your mouth if you were vigilant enough . It was a perfect case for a forensic team to find the potato out in that paper thin Paratha . Carry cash if you decide to stay. They don't accept cards . The reception guys were good and smiling . I wouldn't check in again if I don't run out of options .

Guests have praised the spacious rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and affordable rates. The host, Shiron, is highly regarded for being friendly and providing valuable tips on local attractions and dining options.
Would recommend to anyone staying in Agra! Perfect location down a quiet street but close to main road with lots of restaurants etc. the family are so helpful and welcoming. Offer breakfast and lunch and also cooking classes available! Would stay here again. Rooms also very clean and comfortable

We stayed here one night, to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise. The homestay arranged for Mukul, their local tuktuk guy to pick us up at 6am, and it all worked perfectly. He's a nice guy and very flexible. We wanted to see things other than Baby Taj, Agra Fort etc so he worked with us, and then dropped us to the train station for our onward journey. The homestay family live on the ground floor and are friendly and welcoming. The room and bathroom are dated but are like the pictures. It's in a nice residential area, and only 100 rupees max to the Taj area by uber or tuktuk.

The hosts are very friendly and nice but our room was worn out, no natural light, and with a lot of mosquitos, wherefore we cannot give it more than 2 stars

The Homestay/Hotel: Spacious room with plenty of character. It's an older building with a vintage/antique aesthetic which added to the charm. Everything is relatively clean and in good condition. Shower heater and water pressure worked well. WiFi connectivity was also good. The Stay: The bed was comfortable enough and the room was quite functional. Safe and secure area. Location is good and a short distance from all the attractions you expect to see in Agra. The Service: This is where they shine. The staff is very kind and helpful. They were always available to provide support and help setup transfers and tours as needed. Mukul (Tuk Tuk Driver) picked me up from the train station and he offers transportation to all of Agra's iconic monuments for a fair price. Hire him! He's so kind and a great human. Shiron runs the homestay and he's incredibly hospitable. He even facilitated communication between myself and the bus company set to pick me up for an overnight trip after a language barrier almost left me stranded. He really saved me a lot of trouble that day and I'm forever grateful to him.

Located just a short stroll from the East Gate of the Taj Mahal and within walking distance of the West Gate, East Gate offers a prime location for exploring this iconic monument. The rooftop is conveniently close to the ancient dividing wall, providing easy access to stunning views. While the rooms are described as basic, guests can expect comfortable beds, hot showers, and effective air conditioning during their stay.
Never book this hotel if you are lured by its approximity to Taj Mahal (1.5 km). The worst experience staying for 3 nights. No basic amenities like hot n cold water in bathroom, toiletries (except one small rose coloured soap), complimentary tea/ coffee in room, a/c not always working, intercom not working. Pathetic washroom, faucets are broken, some fittings may even come out in hand. The pictures on websites about hotel are fully misleading, NO ROOF TOP RESTAURANT (only plastic chairs scattered here n there and basically a junkyard type). Room service available with the bill handwritten, will be told as they are giving bills without taking GST (saving customers' money but taking the tips money each time they serve). The only good thing is there is a auto stand nearby and one good auto driver Rakeshji has taken better care serving his customers while showing in and around Agra city.

Taj Mahal, a 17th-century Mughal-style marble mausoleum located in Agra, India, is a breathtaking symbol of love and architectural mastery. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, it is described as an "elegy created in marble" and an "expression of true love." The monument's symmetrical gardens, minarets, and mosque add to its grandeur.
A timeless masterpiece — truly beyond words Visiting the Taj Mahal was an unforgettable experience. No photo or video can ever capture its real beauty — you have to stand before it to feel the magic. The white marble shines differently at every moment of the day, and the reflection in the Yamuna adds even more charm. In the early morning, arriving about 30 minutes before sunrise (when the entry gates open) gave me a practically peaceful moment — a soft golden glow on the marble, fewer crowds, and a calmness you rarely find later in the day. (The monument normally opens 30 minutes before sunrise and closes 30 minutes before sunset.) The place is very well maintained. Security checks were strict but smooth. The ticket-counters for the western and eastern gates started about an hour before sunrise and operate until about 45 minutes before sunset. ✓ Here are the details I noted: Opening/Closing Time: Opens around 30 minutes before sunrise, closes around 30 minutes before sunset. ✓ Closed on Fridays (to general visitors) due to the afternoon prayers at the mosque in the complex. ✓ Ticket charges: For Indian residents: approx ₹50 for general entry (children under 15 are free). ✓ For citizens of SAARC/BIMSTEC countries: approx ₹540,For other foreign nationals: approx ₹1,100 general entry. ✓ Additional mausoleum access: If you want to go inside the main mausoleum chamber, there is an extra charge of ₹200 for all categories. Overall, it’s a wonder that truly lives up to its reputation — a symbol of love and architectural perfection. A must-visit at least once in a lifetime!

What a beauty! It's mesmerising and I visited it on a Monday so there was lesser crowd. Our guide was very helpful and knowledgeable and very patiently and calmly showed us around. He was super generous in clicking our pictures as well. All in all it was an amazing experience to finally see The Taj Mahal. It's not over hyped at all, one should definitely visit.

We visited the majestic Taj Mahal, and it was truly a breathtaking experience — the white marble, the peaceful atmosphere, and the historical beauty make it one of the most memorable places I’ve ever seen. Our main highlight was the visit to the Taj Mahal — one of the most stunning monuments in the world. The moment you enter, the white marble, detailed carvings, and reflection on the water leave you speechless. It truly lives up to its reputation as one of the 7 Wonders of the World. 💰 Entry Ticket: For Indian visitors: ₹50 (at main gate) For foreigners: around ₹1,100 Kids below 15 years: Free entry 🕒 Timings: Open from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM (closed on Fridays) Best time to visit: Early morning or sunset for fewer crowds and cooler weather 🧹 Cleanliness: The entire Taj Mahal complex is very clean and well-maintained. There are dustbins everywhere, the lawns are trimmed, and shoes must be removed or covered before entering the marble platform, keeping it spotless. 👮 Security & Safety: Security is very strict — bags are scanned, and large items or food are not allowed inside. The security staff are polite and helpful. The area feels completely safe for solo travelers and families. 🚻 Facilities: Clean washrooms, drinking water points, guides available in multiple languages, and separate lines for men and women make the visit smooth and comfortable.

We visited Taj Mahal today and it was amazing! This wonder of the world is a must visit if you're in North India and not to be missed. The vast white marble based mughal architecture is breathtaking and sits within it's well curated gardens. This is easily one of the best monuments I've visited in my life. We prebooked foreigner tickets online for INR1100 and arrived in the afternoon. There are 3 entry points and the West entry we used also has carts that take you to the security check point for INR20. Entry to the mausoleum was included in the ticket and you need to cover your shoes before entry and you can get free shoe covers from the counter close to the entry. There are photography free areas and the mausoleum is one place where you need to avoid using cameras. Highly recommended a visit but also recommend researching in advance to avoid getting scammed. There's a lot of people trying to sell you items or services especially at Taj Mahal which sometimes can turn into harrassment or scams. But apart from the touts, overcrowding and tour guides queue jumping with their groups as if they're VIPs, this is an amazing place to visit.

The Taj Mahal is quite simply the most beautiful building on earth. Forget the photos—seeing this marble monument in person is a transcendental experience. Built as a testament to eternal love, its flawless Mughal architecture and perfect symmetry dazzle the eye. The white marble changes colour with the light, from soft pink at dawn to glowing gold at sunset, making an early morning visit a necessity. While the crowds can be intense, the sheer visual perfection and historical weight of the Taj make it an undeniable, must-see wonder of the world. One should buy disposable shoe from outside if they are visiting inside the Taj. One can enjoy food outside. There are electric taxi to pic and drop to parking stand at east gate entry.

It’s really a place for true love. I felt really amazed by seeing the way the building has been structured in those days when technology was minimal. I suggest everyone to Atleast visit once in lifetime to see this wonder. I would personally suggest you to book tickets online which saves lot of your time. Be careful when you are choosing a guide talk to different guide because there are discrepancies in the price. Else it’s a wonderful experience.

I visited Taj Mahal with my friend on 12th Oct 25, which was Sunday and honestly speaking, I was amazed by the beauty and weather in Agra! The polishing and shiny Taj Mahal was super fun and yet peaaceful, to gaze at. Overall experience was v tiring but worth gettting tired for! ∆) Best time to Visit: As most of the people are free in weekends, I suggest you not to go there after 10am, as it is very very crowdy and you won't be able to enjoy the peoceful environment, so best time is 6am-9am on weekends and holidays, whereas on Weekdays you can go anytime. ∆) How to reach: By Train, reach Agra Cantt opr Agra Fort stn, and then come out of the stn area straight forward and then take an E-rickshaw just for 20pp₹! (Yes I was amazed too!) Dont fall in auto's trap they'll charge you anywhere btw 100-200₹ §) Personal recommendation: If you're eager to watch Yamuna river flowing behind it, only then take tickets of Mausoleum, otherwise you'd feel that your 200₹ were a waste (I felt it too that day!) ∆) Agra's Food: I came out of Taj Mahal, and there was a Panipuri wala, and OMG! what Panipuris he had!!! The best in my life I eer had! Also as we all know Agra is famous for its Petha, I recommend that when you go back to your home after visiting Agra Fort (Agra's Red Fort), buy Pethas otw from Panchhi(Best and Og Pethas!) ∆) Tickets: 50₹pp for entry in the premises, 200₹pp extra for visiting the mausoleum PS: Gave it 4 star as some amenities were irritating there (I had problem in keeping my bag, had to pay 20₹ even when the racks were empty in Cloakroom near checking zone, and they made me run a lot too) Please like my comment if you all find it helpful ;)

The Taj Mahal is truly one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever seen. The moment you step inside the complex, you can feel a sense of peace and wonder. The white marble structure looks absolutely stunning, especially when sunlight hits it — it almost seems to glow! The symmetry, carvings, and detailed marble work show how skilled and creative the builders were. It’s not just a monument, it’s a symbol of love and dedication that you can actually feel while standing there. The gardens around it are beautifully maintained, and the reflection of the Taj in the water makes the view even more magical. Whether you’re visiting for history, photography, or just curiosity, the Taj Mahal leaves you amazed. It truly deserves its place as one of the Seven Wonders of the World — a masterpiece that everyone should experience at least once in their life.

We stayed here whilst, surprise surprise, checking out the Taj Mahal which I must say was absolutely corking. I was prepared to be underwhelmed but despite the crowds and heat, it was truly breathtaking. …

Stayed here for one night. The rooftop Taj view is really good. Bowi’s generosity and hospitality really made it for us. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and helped us arrange transport to Jaipur, Agra fort tour and Taj Mahal tour - although at the end of the tours we were taken to presumably some acquaintances tourist shop to buy jewellery/marble. Would stay again

I stayed there last February. The online booking portal has very good pictures and reviews of that hotel. In fact, it was in a very dirty condition and as soon as we passed through, we were greeted by an uncovered and overflowing dirt ditch. If we want to go to the second floor, there is no lift facility and if we want to go up, there is a staircase that a person can barely climb. The interior of the washroom was all in disrepair and there was water leakage. You might be wondering why I gave this two stars even though I have so many complaints..! It is purely for their rooftop restaurant and Ambiance there. The night view of the Taj Mahal on top of it is very beautiful

We had a decent stay here. The location is perfect for visiting the Taj Mahal. Rooftop view is also great. Food is pleasant and service is good. Friendly chefs. Room was comfortable but the smell of sewage was present during the night (not good for sleeping). Covering the washroom drain helped. The owner was very sweet and organised an early breakfast for us before our visit to the Taj Mahal.

The rooms are small, and the bathroom is so tiny that it’s hardly possible for a person to stand. The most distressing thing is that the surroundings of this hotel are extremely dirty, which feels like a nightmare to me. The positive aspects I found about this hotel are its view of the Taj Mahal from rooftop and the walkable distance to the Taj Mahal.
Rayees K — Google review
I had the worst experience of my life here ... The room is not properly cleaned and the washroom is very dirty... Service was also not good , we ordered a water bottle but it didn't come .. location is okay as it is very near to taj mahal .... The lock of the bathroom gate is also not working properly.... The night bulbs are damaged ... Majorly the windows have transparent mirrors and everything can be seen from outside !!!! We paid an extra amount and booked a room with the taj view but we got a room on the 1st floor and didn't get the view , whatever we got is the view of the front room!!!! I request everyone to not book this hotel bec this is just a waste of money..... U also can't change the temperature of the ac 😨 And also signal for calling or internet is also not working here ....
Devapriya C — Google review
The rooms were very small like a prison cell and the bathroom doors were creaking like it would break anytime. My grandma faced such a problem to come to the floor where we were staying the stairs are so high and scary. The view was good from the roof but usually the seats are always full of foreigners. The foods served were good, warm and tasty but quite a bit expensive. The location of the place is from a thin way with drains and in the middle of many houses . The Taj Mahal was very close though.
Uma B — Google review
The pictures don’t lie. This hotel has excellent views of the Taj Mahal, for free! I didn’t even pay for entry to Taj Mahal because the views did enough. It’s hard to get a free view of this landmark and this hotel delivers. Probably one of the best rooftop views of the Taj in Agra. That’s why I booked it. And the rooms are very well priced. Mine was only a fan room which was quite hot. Basic rooms. But you get what you pay for. Hosts were very good, and generous, however I feel the food was a little overpriced for India. This is expected as it’s Agra after all.

Amazing evening at Anise! We found this hotel based on google reviews and it was close to our hotel. When we arrived the restaurant was empty so we doubted for a minute but eventually decided to give it a go and boy it did not disappoint! We followed the food recommendations of Dheerendr and all the food was amazing! Probably some of the best tasting we had on our india trip(Dehli- Jaipur-Agra) if not the best tasting! The service of Dheerendr and Tanu was even better and they were both super attentive and helpful! Top class and would highly recommend this place!

A Delightful Dining Experience I recently visited this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. I ordered paneer and makhani—the paneer was slightly on the sweeter side, but the dal was absolutely fantastic. The naan was perfectly made, though the roti was just average. The ambiance was calm and peaceful, creating a relaxing dining atmosphere. The live music added a lovely touch, enhancing the overall experience. Definitely worth a visit!

Luckily we were only booked for one night on our trip. We were on floor 3 above reception and a wedding party was in full swing till 2am. We then had lots of noise from guests being noisy and boisterous in the corridor till almost 3am. To top it all, when we got a drink from the fridge, we found the fridge was warm inside and we had no cold drinks. We eventually got to sleep at 4am. Why does the hotel put guests above the reception area if they know there is a noisy party till 2am?
Rudi H — Google review
The hotel has a huge "wanna be" Vibe, it clearly wants to be in the big league, and the rates are reflective of that ambition, but currently it's just like a budget hotel. Untrained staff, average decor, and worst of all, a terrible chef! Food is absolutely pathetic. Last night we ordered khichdi for dinner for our baby and made the mistake of saying "please put no chili" as in North India you never know what level of spicy is the considered ok. What we were served is a white mass of rice with small bits of almost raw carrots, forget spices they didn't even add salt. It was inedible and our daughter went to sleep on an empty stomach. Today lunch we ordered a veg thali which had a hefty price tag of 999 Rs. Told specifically that no chili doesn't mean no spice at all. We were served this dish in the pic, they forgot to add rice, the daal was too salty to eat and had a lair of chili oil on top, the raita had chili powder sprinkled on top. Absolutely no idea why a several star hotel chef would not know how to put a regular amount of salt in a dish! So, my advice is, don't go by the room rates, they are not justified by the service they offer, it's a budget hotel in all honesty.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and enjoyed every moment of it. The rooftop bar was definitely a highlight, offering a stunning ambiance paired with excellent live entertainment. Ali and Manoj’s performance was truly outstanding and created an unforgettable atmosphere that made our evening so special. The music and song selection were fantastic, keeping the vibe lively and enjoyable throughout. A special thanks to Manoj for making the night even more memorable, and for the beautiful breakfast experience that we’ll always cherish—along with the wonderful photos we captured. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, warm service, and a rooftop experience that is both unique and unforgettable. Many thanks as well to our tour agent, Farman, for booking this hotel—such a perfect choice for our Golden Triangle trip!

A Memorable Stay at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Agra, Made Exceptional by Anil! My recent stay at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Agra was a pleasant experience overall, offering comfortable accommodations and a convenient location. However, what truly elevated my stay and left a lasting positive impression was the exceptional service provided by one individual: Anil. From the moment we arrived, Anil stood out as a genuinely friendly and helpful person. He immediately took initiative in assisting us with our luggage, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free check-in process. His warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel instantly at ease. But Anil's helpfulness didn't stop there. When it was time for us to depart and catch our bus, he went above and beyond what was expected. He not only helped us with our luggage again but also took the initiative to arrange a reliable driver to drop us off at the bus station. This was incredibly helpful and saved us a significant amount of stress and time navigating unfamiliar transportation options. What impressed me most about Anil was his genuine desire to assist and his proactive approach to ensuring our needs were met. He wasn't just doing his job; he was genuinely invested in making our stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. His friendly nature and willingness to go the extra mile truly made a difference. While the hotel itself offered comfortable rooms and standard amenities, it was Anil's outstanding service that truly made our experience memorable. He is a valuable asset to the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Agra, and his dedication to guest satisfaction is commendable. Ps. I did ask to take a picture of his name so I can write this reviews.

The room, service and location was nice. But we didn't liked food as of we are vegetarian. We didn't liked breakfast at all. Staff was corteous and helpful. Good for business or ocassional stays. Now this may be a biased review as my family ONLY stays at Hotel Amar. The reason is the Rooms are clean and sober, Food is as per our taste and the breakfast buffet is filling. The staff has always been polite, courteous and efficient. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that housekeeping was considerate even when my 2 small kids made a message I the room TWICE in a day. The pricing is not low, but I feel a service as provided there warrants a bit of a hike. I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour group and the experience was not good. The staff were a little helpful, but i feel only because they wanted tips. One night when returning to my room, my room key key didnt work, which was a common theme for a lot of guest, and there happened to be staff near the rooms at the time, when i couldnt get in, the staff insisted they go and get it fixed at reception, and when they return, wont leave until they get a tip, even tho its there problem, it was ridiculous. The toilet leaked every time it flushed, no soap for washing in the shower, the hallway smelt like sewerage which filtered into our room, althought this could have been because of the power pole explode out the front literally as we pulled in and the hotel needing, presumably, a generator to operate, but who knows. The breakfast buffet was light on variety, but thats fine, it had basic indian and westen choices. The room was big and spacious, the hotel relatively clean, apart from room service trays not be collected in the hallways and left for nearly 24hrs, so overall, a bad experience, especially feeling pressured to tip and feeling like we were scammed with the door key thing.
Shane S — Google review
The location is great, but the hotel itself is downright bad. While the rooms are clean, you’re completely at the mercy of whoever stays next to you. In my case, the family next door was a perfect example of civic sense gone missing. The walls are so thin that even a phone’s buzz is clearly audible..so good luck getting any sleep. To make things worse, the reception staff are quite rude. They flatly refused a simple request for some water to refill my car’s washer fluid..and did so without even a smile. Which the chauffeur did it when bribed a 50 rupees note.. Adding to the frustration, the menu clearly mentioned a “night menu” available from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m., which we relied on. But when we called at 11:30 p.m., the kitchen was already closed. In the end, the only plus is the location..hospitality is absolutely zero.
Felix C — Google review
This hotel is situated on a main road and we really love the hospitality shown by the hotel staff. However, Its still seems to be under renovation. I didnt see luggage carrier in the hotel and the staff were carrying the luggage on thr shoulders. Rooms are good but walls need some more renovation. Glass on the window seems to be very dangerous and i wanted my kids to stay away from it cuz it might fall off. Washrooms are neat and clean and hygiene is maintained. U will find Bercos, Spa there. They have a big sized swimming pool. Depth of the swimming starts from 2.5ft to 5.5ft However it needs to be properly maintained. There were lot of insects, tree leaves in the swimming pool (may be cuz it rained the other day) Breakfast menu is good but lacks Non veg snacks. I went to the Fern-Alwar and they served us Kebabs and hence i was expecting it from here aswell. If u put the room key near to ur phn then it will be de-activated and u will have to call the reception to open ur room's door. This happened to me 2-3 times in a single day. Overall i really had fun and will stay thr if i come to Agra again.

Hotel The Taj Vilas Agra is a contemporary property offering warm and spacious rooms with elegant interior design and a cozy ambiance. It's conveniently located within walking distance of the Kalakriti culture and convention center, Taj Nature Walk, and the Taj Mahal Mausoleum. The hotel also provides easy access to other main attractions in Agra. Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and a restaurant on-site.
We had a wonderful experience at The Taj Vilas. Rooms are clean with all the essentials. Location is great as the Taj mahal is very close. It is located just beside the Taj east gate metro station. And people coming from Delhi should prefer this hotel as it is very close to the highway.
Mainak S — Google review
Hotel The Taj Vilas is situated on the main road near the metro station, offering easy access to nearby attractions. A short walk takes you to the "I Love Agra" Selfie Point, making it a well-located choice for travelers. ✅ Location: Easy to find, close to transport & local spots ✅ In-house restaurant & room service: Convenient dining options ✅ Room cleanliness: Rooms were clean & well-kept ✅ Bathroom upkeep: While clean, the flush was not working, indicating maintenance issues The hotel provides a decent short-term stay, especially for those looking for accessibility & basic amenities. While the food was average and some facilities need maintenance, the overall experience remains manageable for a quick visit.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a few days and overall, my experience was pleasant but with a few areas for improvement. The location is very convenient, close to local attractions and public transport, which made getting around easy. The staff were polite and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The room was clean and spacious enough for a comfortable stay. The bed and linens were fresh and cozy, and basic amenities like Wi-Fi, toiletries, and a kettle were provided.

One of the affordable yet luxury hotels located in a very good locality. Breakfast was amazing. Had no issues during my stay. Kudos to the hotel staff for offering exceptional hospitality. Note : There is no pool inside the hotel complex and check out timings are 11 AM and not 12 PM.

I had a great experience staying at the Raj Vilas Hotel in Agra. The location is perfect — very close to the Taj Mahal. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Mr. Arora, the hotel owner ensures that guests are comfortable, and the excellent treatment and attention to detail are highly appreciated in the hospitality industry. Very worst experience , services are very poor, they are doing business only in the name of hotel, they are not aware about the hospitality meaning. No proper accommodation in hotel , switch off AC in the night and guests suffered, ordered a cup of tea during 2 days stay, to serve a cup to tea they took 1 hour and quality/ taste of tea was also not good...more over they have not paid the full amount bill as well , I have paid 6000 for 2 rooms, they gave me bill of 4000 only...pls avoid to stay in this hotel.

We had a two night stay in Agra and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food offerings. We ate at the hotel restaurant for breakfast and dinner on both days and everything was delicious and cooked fresh. The service from all the staff was wonderful. Yetin in the restaurant was very helpful in suggesting appropriate accompaniments. The room is a good size and the only niggle would be the shower as it wouldn't stay on the overhead rose.

I recently stayed at Hotel Orange for 2 nights and the service was very good right from a quick check in to clean rooms and bathrooms. The staff , both housekeeping and especially restaurant staff are very polite and kind. The restaurant Noosh had very tasty food, served with utmost hygiene. Overall it is very good value for money.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Agra.

Hotel Avalon Taj Agra is a straightforward accommodation option that provides an international restaurant and complimentary transfers to the train station. While some guests have had positive experiences staying in executive rooms with their families, there are concerns about the condition of the bathrooms, suggesting a need for renovations and better maintenance. The hotel's location near Idgah bus stand is convenient, and it offers various room types including spacious ones with road views.
We have an extremely bad experience in this hotel . We don't recommend this hotel for tourist. No manners to the working staff . No soaps were provided in toilets. The price was very high, according to the price the services of the hotel is not that much good ,there were mosquitoes roaming around ine the room ,the bathroom was not properly clean ,windows curtain were also broken, tap and showers was not working properly. During check-in time they said that they will charge the room as per 24 hours as per check in time(9 pm) but on the 2nd day at check out time the manager asked to pay for the room for 3 days.

Super Hotel O near Taj Mahal West Gate offers excellent hotel rooms and service, with a highly commendable staff. The accommodation provides good rooms and safe parking, making it suitable for families. However, some may find the location less appealing.
The worst hotel I have ever visited. You book the hotel 15 days prior via MakeMyTrip and check in at 7 pm in the evening, and the rooms are not ready. The rude staff argue that hotels usually prepare the rooms after guests arrive...what a joke 🤣 Above all, no hot water, no water bottles provided even after asking (maybe they thought I was asking for complementary water), literally no amenities were provided...not even a water glass or water kettle. Besides, the place is full of dirt with a foul smell. Don't go by old pics by the owner, see the real recent pics of the room and bathrooms I have attached. Completely, waste of money. Try to avoid otherwise a stay in a hotel like this may ruin your whole tour. BTW, you may prefer in case you are alone, and a bachelor and get the room below 500😜

Dirty Rooms: My room was not cleaned properly, with dust and dirt visible on the furniture and floors. Poor Service: The staff was unfriendly and unresponsive to my requests. I had to wait for over an hour to get my room key The hotel is located near a busy road, and the noise made it difficult to sleep. *Would Not Recommend* Overall, my stay was a disappointment. The hotel failed to deliver on its promises, and the staff was unhelpful. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very bad experience with Hotel. The hotel images provided in the travel site shows fake images for reference. Hotel staff and receptionist does not coordinate at all. They provide wrong information to travel/partner agency that they will rectify the issue faced by customer and consume extra time. The bed room and bathroom are completely unhygienic and stinky with speage all around the wall. The corridors are dirty and stinking. No body can stay at the hotel with such pathetic conditions. Once made the payment to them, they refuse to cancel the booking even if you don't stay at the property. Would suggest not get fooled by the hotel and immediately blacklist it.

Worst room I have stayed, the room is not clean and there were no ammenties provides even the basic restroom and bathroom were not clean, the mattress cloth of the bed is not clean and the behaviour of the staffs were rude even the basic water bottle and towels were not provided i suggest the visitors or travellers to not book the hotels by seeing the reviews just go and directly visit and then you may proceed

It was the most horrific experience. Zero cleanliness, zero professionalism, zero quality. They even do not have any space for keeping bed linen, pillows and towels. Hence dumped all of them in a corner of the corridors. They never cleaned the kettles they provided to their guests. I booked but changed the hotel immediately without even caring about my money and looked for another hotel. The whole hotel was stinking as hell. I wouldn't recommend this hotel even to my enemies.
Manikanta C — Google review
Terrible and Unprofessional Service This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I booked and paid for my room via Booking.com more than two months in advance. However, when I arrived, I was told there were no rooms available. They tried to move me to another hotel, but the room they offered was completely different from what I had originally booked. The staff were extremely unprofessional and rude. They didn’t even try to explain the situation properly. Instead, they laughed and joked around, completely ignoring the fact that I was standing there frustrated. It felt like they had no respect or concern for their guests. What made this worse was that I only had one day in Agra, and instead of enjoying my time visiting the city, I had to waste hours finding a new hotel due to their incompetence. If you’re looking for a stress-free trip, avoid this hotel at all costs. It’s poorly managed and offers no sense of professionalism or responsibility toward their guests. This was a complete disappointment, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Most worst experience in this hotel services are very bad and no facilities in the hotel . They have no AC remort in room and we have booking of 9 peoples but they have gave room for 6 peoples only .No extra blankets and pillows are provided. Also there is really stinky smell in this hotel .Never suggest this hotel.
Aayushi G — Google review
My recent stay at this hotel was incredibly disappointing. The service was very poor, with staff showing little concern for guest comfort or requests. The rooms were dirty, poorly maintained, and felt suffocating. To make matters worse, the air conditioning did not work, and despite informing the staff twice, no one bothered to come and fix it. Adding to the misery, there was a late-night drinks party with loud music, making it nearly impossible to rest. The hotel did nothing to manage the noise, leaving us frustrated and exhausted. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel for even a single night—especially for families

I just love how the old traditional building has been turned into a cozy hotel. It has such a warm, homely environment. The best part is the terrace view of the Taj Mahal, absolutely breathtaking! The Coral Court Homestay is a hidden gem in Agra that perfectly blends comfort, charm, and warm hospitality. The house itself is beautifully designed, with thoughtful details, cozy common areas, and elegant touches that give it a unique personality. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated, offering a calm retreat after a day of exploring. One of the biggest highlights is the location — just a short walk or drive from the Taj Mahal, making it ideal for early morning visits or sunset strolls without long commutes.
