I wanted to go to another place, but I passed by and became curious. I went up and discovered a nice lounge bar. I decided to stay and have a meal. The very nice and professional barmaid suggested me a dish which was very tasty. Music, meal, atmosphere were great. Beautiful people and a real lounge atmosphere. It's not the cheapest place in Addis, but compared to European standards a good deal. Go there from 8 to 10pm and you will have a nice time. Only thing, apparently they don't have a menu of drinks, and you don't really know how much you will pay if you don't ask, which I didn't. But don't worry, I didn't get overcharged. Good place to hang out before going clubbing

This place is amazing! The food is unbelievably good! I ordered the half chicken and it was just delicious! My wife ordered the stakes pieces with pasta and she loved it. Really nice restaurant with great food all around. I especially loved the grilled chicken and the combo meals flavorful and satisfying. Other dishes were tasty too. The service was friendly and made the experience even better nice place to hangout and chill watch the games and live band on selected days!

The food and service are excellent. They even allowed for the adjustments that I needed for my dietary restrictions. The walls could use some paint. And the chairs and table cloths show their age and doesn’t look clean. But I definitely do come back for the food and the servers are very attentive and kind. I will come again. One minor complaint is that they don’t serve wine 🍷 by the glass only by the bottle and I don’t drink a bottle. But then again the mint mojito turned out pretty nice 😊

We had a work lunch at Mimi's, and it was OK, but I think it is more of a lounge/bar than a restaurant. The food was average. When our food came, it was only warm and not sizzling hot. We had ordered a steak, and they didn't even have a steak knife. The staff was not so knowledgeable about the food on the menu. However, to be fair, the staff are attentive. The place was so dark, with no open windows and very much like a bar. Maybe a good option for a night out than lunch.

We visited Mimi’s Addis as a family for a late lunch, and we were definitely hungry! The place is nice, the food is delicious, and the waiters are very friendly and welcoming. I’m giving 4 stars for the food, everything was great, but the chicken curry didn’t quite match the traditional Indian curry flavor I’m familiar with from past experiences. It still tasted good, just a bit different. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to both locals and visitors!

I recently dined at a charming restaurant that truly impressed with its inviting atmosphere and delicious food with a friend. We ordered the spaghetti with chicken sauce, which was a delightful dish. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the creamy chicken sauce was flavorful. Each bite was comforting and satisfying. We also tried the beef stroganoff. This dish was nothing short of spectacular. The beef was complemented by a luscious sauce, served over french fries that soaked up some of the sauce that gave the flavors beautifully. Lastly, we tried there Cakes and it was nice. Overall, the combination of a great atmosphere and outstanding food made for a memorable dining experience. I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu!

A good place to meet someone and just chat for a bit. Your typical cafe but with a wide variety of food. Good service too. A bit over priced tho.

This place is both a pastry shop and a restaurant with a Turkish atmosphere. They're famous for their baklava, which is honestly amazing. They also have a restaurant on the mezzanine floor that serves decent food. I highly recommend everyone to try their pastries, especially their baklava.

The restaurant has a very cool and clean atmosphere. The waiter was friendly and served us kindly. I really enjoyed my visit! I ordered the special chicken burger and margarita pizza with a fruit punch. Everything was amazing!

The cake we ordered for my daughter’s birthday was so disappointing. The taste was so bad. We ordered a chocolate cake but there was no chocolate flavor at all, and pure sugar and brown coloring only. It appears to be artificial flavors. This man was supposedly invited on EBS to showcase his famous cakes, so we were very excited to buy his cake, but it ended up tasting terrible. None of our guests ate the cake and we threw it away, and sadly this cake costed us 7,000 birr. The only thing he did well was the outside design. This was an absolute waste and embarrassment.

It is average. The service is a little slow but the food counters that....it can also host some programs apparently. And the gym is great. The place is packed with historical things so you won’t get bored waiting.

This place is ok but the service was disappointing. We were a group of friends and ordered drinks and 5 or 6 plates of food. It was over an hour late and the place was not even that busy. But the most annoying part was they served another table that came after us and they were served immediately. We had vegetable pizza, fish goulash and fish combo. The food was good. The atmosphere is ok but the music is too loud to hold a conversation. Overall its ok but can be improved especially with their service.

Our first time to this gem of a place from the old era of the music (Roha Band) were playing live with the two original members including Govanni. What an amazing exhibition of the sax playing. The simply delicious and probably the best shiro wot I have had in a long time. It is one place in Addis Ababa that has recognised the need for efficient and attentive service without overwhelming guests with too many untrained and intrusive waiting staff. Well done to the team.

Everything was good, especially the Band performed well. But every time during the breaks, horrible trash music was played at such a deafening volume that it sounded like the gentle sound of the sea as the jet took off and you stood next to it. I have never experienced anything like this in my life and can only hope that I don't have any permanent hearing loss. Thank God I escaped in time. Never again! Today the Roha Band was supposed to play there, which we would have loved to see and hear, and that would have been the last opportunity before we left. But with this DJ guy we saved ourselves and went somewhere else, which is a shame.

I will never go to this bar again. One day we went to this place to have a good time with family's during the live band time. Once the band done they start a DJ service and then one of my family member went to the Dj and asked him to play tigrigna music. Unfortunately the Dj said the owner of this bar will not allow me to play such musics. We all shocked by his response. What a racist owner he is?

Ambiance and excellent customer service. We had ordered Shekla Tibs and were a bit surprised to get something w Broccoli and egg on the side. Unusual and not tasty at all but will try something else next time.

It used to be one of the best Kitfo houses in Addis. Now mostly it is a hotel not a good restaurant. Don't waste your time and money at this place.

Bekelech Hotel. i happened to slip in to the well known Bekelech kitfo for lunch, which have been loved for more than 46 years and figured out that Bekelech Kitfo has began a standard hotel services. Delux , standard and twin rooms with amazing speed wifi! i also come to know and seen that the guys are renting halls, which are beautiful with an option of open air space at the roof of the hotel's building. i love all the infrastructure with the wide n secured parking under surveillance of the hotel's security. n wow, the "kitfo"! the room is so nice, well furnished with fine materials. it the ideal place for night life of addis and all the lively stuffs. Enjoy!

Had a late lunch on a day that was ቅበላ . It was understaffed-we practically begged for service, the kitfo was unseasoned tasteless, and the kocho had flour in it.

Was there with my friends and they enjoyed the food very much 👍🏼

I got here by a friend recomendation absolutly love the food thw atmosphere in there was a little low cuz of the time but i love the food and the service was good and love the entrace traditional coffee area.

The thing i love about this place is it's situated in a condominum area in addis ababa...that is rare to find... this place is the only cafe in all the summit condominums.

Comfortable. OK food. Always frustrated in Addis with restaurants not having what is on their menus. But we eventually found a couple chicken dishes (that took a little extra time to prepare, but they told us). It was ok, not bad. Not sure I would go back.

Simple menu, made up of a combination of local Ethiopian dishes and the items you typically find in a Western restaurant. The fact that they're located across Azzeman Hotel makes them a convenient choice for business travelers. They're a nicer alternative to hotel food which tends to be bland most of the time. Edit: Ordered a pasta dish on 13 March and was immensely disappointed because the pasta feels like it has been heated from a frozen state instead of being cooked ad libitum.

Nice location , fair price and good food. You may find also coffee shop,gallery and souvenir ship which will be great place for tourist to buy when getting back home.
