Great films are shown is this terrific theater. Small and intimate foreign films play with Q&As. It's located in a terrific busy area surrounded with nice restaurants. The 1st time it took a while to find it but now I come at least 1x a month to see the Polish films shown. Recently saw "My Father's Bike" with director and Q&A session. It needs a few more lights on the side steps-it's very dark in there. Will go back soon to see another flick--

I was absolutely fascinated by Central Park. I was expecting chaos but instead found an incredible sense of calm and a true spectacle of nature. ​What impressed me most was how clean and well-kept everything was. The autumn colors were beautiful, the atmosphere was peaceful (loved seeing the squirrels and horse-drawn carriages!), and the contrast of the green trees against the city skyscrapers is something you have to see to believe. ​It’s a stunning oasis in the middle of Manhattan. Highly recommended for a peaceful escape!

Central Park is absolutely beautiful !!! it’s hard to believe a place this big and peaceful exists right in the middle of the city. I loved exploring Belvedere Castle and Bethesda Fountain, and seeing all the iconic spots in person felt so special. Such a perfect place to just wander, relax, and take in the city from a completely different perspective.

After the watching the 'Stranger Things: The First Shadow' Broadway show at the Marquis Theatre on W46th St & 7th Ave, we walked the 0.7 miles up 7th Ave to the Central Park entrance at W59th St where I had my first NYC Hotdog from the Nathan's Hotdog stand. It was very tasty if a tad small for $6. We only walked in a very small section of the vast 843 acres, 2.5 miles long and 0.5 miles wide park, from the W59th St & 7Ave entrance to the Model Sailing Boat Lake and could have spent several days explore the different sections of this vast beautiful space, which is enjoyed daily by some many local New Yorkers and tourists. There were lots of people relaxing on the grass, walking, jogging, running, cycling & rollerblading through the park, together with rickshaws and horse drawn carriages carrying their passengers on the one directional circular road running around inside the park. We stopped off at the Le Pain Quotidien kiosk next to the Model Boating Lake for hot drinks & pastries at one of the tables, enjoying the late evening sunshine whilst watching people going by and children sailing their rented remote controlled model boats in the lake. There are public male & female toilets either side of the kiosk and a table service section for a selection of food & drinks. It wasn't too busy when we were there around 6pm on a Saturday evening and it was the perfect place to sit down, take a break, relax and watch the world go by in Central Park whilst enjoying a drink. We were fortunate to be there to listen to the famous Central Park guitar man, David Ippolito, playing some beautiful guitar music from across the boating lake opposite our table, in his regular Saturday slot. On our walk to the Model Boating Lake we passed the 1,800 seat open air Delacorte amphitheater inside the park, where free public shows of Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night' were being performed. My wife is a big fan of Shakespeare's plays and would have loved to have gone to see the play. However, as the vast majority of tickets were allocated via lottery to NYC residents we would have had to queue up in person in a standby line outside the theatre on the day, in the hope of getting one of these few ticket allocations and I didn't like Shakespeare enough to do that. As it was such beautiful warm late summer we decided to walk the 2.2 miles down Lexington Ave, from the park at 74th St down to our hotel at 36th St. Although it took a lot longer than taking the subway we really enjoyed seeing more of the city on foot.

I had never seen such a huge park in the city area. Spread across 800+ acres, this park has a lot of beautiful places to visit. We went to Bethesda terrace as our first spot here and it’s really worth visiting. Great spots to visit, sit, relax, run and click pictures. Loved the bow bridge. Must visit and highly recommended.

Definitely, the heart of NY. What a magical place to go! I spent hours there. The views around, house of so many movies. I felt in one there. Full of special, cosy places like little houses and benches around the lakes. Beautiful little bridges. Artists playing music and selling art everywhere.

Great place to hang out with friends, solo or with a date. There's food, deserts, and coffee shops all around. Lots of tables and chairs. There's chess tables too, if you like to play. Subway is close by. We picked up a pizza pie from Joe's pizza, delish!

My favorite place in NYC. I love to get a coffee & pastry at a local Cafe and just sit. I could easily stay for hours. Holiday time is a different story- too much chaos. But any other time is perfection.

Prior to a visit to NYC 10 years ago for my wife's 50th birthday celebrations in Sep 2015 we had never heard of Bryant Park, which we discovered to our great delight whilst we were staying in a hotel opposite the Port Authority Bus Terminal, which is nearby. It's a 9.6 acre privately managed public park that provides provides a very welcomed green oasis of calm & tranquility away from the frenzied chaos of Time Square just 1 block away in mid-town Manhattan. There's always lots of free activities for the public to enjoy all year round inside the park - my wife really enjoyed an open air performance of Shakespeare's play 'Much Ado About Nothing' in 2015, which was a highlight of her visit. So when we returned to NYC to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday in Sep 2025 we made sure we booked a hotel (The Shelburne Sonesta on Lexington Ave) that was within easy walking distance of Bryant Park so we could enjoy the park and daily activities within it. During our latest visit we enjoyed 2x free morning yoga sessions, a piano concert and numerous trips to the cafes within and around the park. There was a very full schedule of activities and musical concerts for every one of the 12 days of our trip that could have kept us at the park all day, everyday. We also visited the Main Branch of the New York Public Library at the Eastern end of the park and what are, in my wife's opinion, the best free public toilets she's ever used on our travels, that are kept spotlessly clean by a no nonsense Asian lady who managed the constant queues of customers to the toilets in one corner of the park very firmly. They had beautiful fresh flower arrangements on display, soothing classic music playing and Japanese style toilets that automatically roll out a paper cover over the toilet seat after each flush. If we ever visit NYC in the winter we would love to attend the activites within the Winter Village at the park, with its centrepiece 17,000 sq ft ice rink with free-admission ice skating, high quality rental skates, free skating shows and events.

What a fabulous holiday pop up market! Ice rink was open, so many unique vendors and instagram worthy foods! Just avoid the corner that sells the stinky cooked cheese!

I recently visited this lovely park that truly offered a scenic experience. The atmosphere was peaceful, and I felt completely safe throughout my time there. One of the highlights was the abundance of seating options, with plenty of tables available for visitors to relax and enjoy their surroundings. Plus there were packs of well behaved teenagers there. I feel old seeing that but it was nice to see. While we were there, we discovered a great area with 20+ tables where we set up our Ring camera and tripod. We took some time to film a quick video, which took about 20 minutes and then left. Next time we visit, we're planning to explore the library at the top of the stairs. Nice experience.

This is my SECOND time visiting the Bryant Park Winter Market 2025 in one week! I absolutely love it! For as long as i can remember my family and I have been coming here! I only took a pic of the Biang Biang noodles and OMG they were so good! A little bit spicy but not unbearable. I also had a Cheesesteak by the Truffliest that was 10/10. The spud potato could be a skip. Strawberro Dubai Chocolate never disappoints. Hot chocolate wise… No Chewing Aloud for rich authentic chocolate, Smores nMore for AMAZING marshmallow dipped hot chocolate (not too chocolatey or thick). I could go on and on but JUST GO!

I loved this park. It is small but packed with activities and people from different backgrounds; families, office workers, tourists, everyone. In warm months you get lawn movies, free classes, and plenty of chairs to just sit and relax; in winter it turns into a festive market. Easy to pop in for a walk, a short jog around the perimeter, or a quiet moment with a coffee. For such a small park, it has everything.

Beautiful location to go to a performance. I saw Don Giovanni at the Metropolitan Opera. The fountains in the plaza are gorgeous, and the entire Plaza is magical at night. The opera house has two huge Chagall paintings in the front entryway. The performance was wonderful. The set, the music, the orchestra, the singers were all superb. The lights and the entire layout of the Opera house are marvelous. Very much worth buying a ticket and going to a performance while in New York city. Opera seats range from $35 to many hundreds of dollars.

Last night’s performance at the New York City Ballet was nothing short of extraordinary. Misty Copeland brought a presence that completely transformed the stage — poised, luminous, and emotionally precise. Every movement felt both effortless and charged with intent; she doesn’t just dance, she tells a story through her body. The program itself was beautifully curated — balancing the athletic precision NYCB is known for with moments of quiet grace and modern sensitivity. The corps was sharp and unified, and the orchestra played with real warmth and energy. But it was Misty who stole the night. Watching her is like watching someone rewrite what classical ballet can be: grounded, human, yet still impossibly elegant. You could feel the entire audience leaning forward, collectively holding its breath. A powerful, inspiring evening — and a reminder of why live performance matters.

I’ve been there a few times. I’ve seen ballet and opera. I could not recommend it more. When you walk into the opera house it feels like you have been transported. With the winding stairs and the chandeliers making it feel extra special. In the main venue there are velvet seats and monitors in front of you that translate the opera. All over a great experience. I will definitely go back again

Attended Swan Lake at Lincoln Center from the balcony and it was absolutely breathtaking. Even from up high, the view was perfect and the performance felt deeply immersive. The dancers were mesmerizing, and the orchestra brought the story to life in the most powerful way. It was my first time seeing a full-length ballet, and I was genuinely amazed. The elegance, the emotion, the energy unforgettable. Lincoln Center knows how to create magic.

What an iconic and architecturally stunning performing art center in the up west of NYC. It is beautiful and cohesive designed. The seating is spacious and comfortable with excellent acoustics. It is well-maintained and hosts a variety of events offered year-round, including free summer outdoor performances and wellness workshops.

I had the chance to visit Lincoln Center during the Summer Festival, and it was a fantastic experience. Despite all the events being free, everything was impressively well-organized and professionally run. I haven’t had the chance to attend a jazz performance there yet, but I’ve heard it’s an amazing venue for that too — it’s definitely on my list for next time!

This is the most happening place in the world, I have spent almost one and half hour here but feels like 5-10 minutes. You can spend hours and hours here. Also be careful about scammers here. Museum Mile is ICONIC. Located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, this street houses several incredible museums, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art. This area is so beautiful, and is a great place for a stroll in New York City on a beautiful day! :-)

Great street to walk in NYC especially if you love visiting museums. You will pass the MET, Googenheim, Central Park and several other attractions on this stretch.

Such a cute natural wine bar, atmosphere is great and the service attentive. Enjoyed sitting near the window drinking our riesling. Seating is tight, almost communal which we loved. Their fries so crispy!! Can’t wait to come back and enjoy.

A casual Brooklyn restaurant with cute inside and outside seating. When booking it is best to choose covered outdoor seating - they you will be in the backyard but under the roof and have great visibility of outside without leaves and random stuff falling in your food. My burger was wonderful, ricotta salad was a bit underwhelming but well seasoned and I enjoyed their selection of natural and orange wines. The service is a bit too hipsterish and engaging but we are in Brooklyn. For the area i would say it is the best restaurant for a spring/ summer date night.

I've only recently discovered this spot and find it just absolutely perfect in every way. The place is dripping in atmosphere- such a cozy little spot and I'd imagine it'll be even better on a cold night. Natural wines- sampled all the reds last night- yes-- if it's not too busy, they'll entertain you with samplings. I had the chicken thigh with mashed potatoes. Savory and delicious. My friend had the burger and as she lives nearby, said she'll absolutely be returning for that.

Intimate, warm wine bar with a large selection of wines. I asked for a slightly sweeter red wine and they brought me a syrah that was a specialty wine not on the menu by the glass. It was really good. The outdoor patio is very nice with a heat lamp and lights. The WINNER bread and culture butter was very good.

A natural wine-focused wine bar and gem dinner spot with vintage rustic interior and a lovely backyard. Their well curated menu is perfect for sharing, featuring a fresh, seasonal ingredients with top notch flavoring (although a bit on the salty side). Highly recommend the little gem, heirloom tomato, and the fluke crudo. Their $20 espresso martini was decent but not amazing so I’d suggest sticking to the wine list.

This bar is really a “hidden gem” in the neighborhood. Friendly service and beautiful presentation. While the menu is a little limited, everything from the appetizers to entrees is delicious. My only complaint is that the steak was quite fatty. Of course there is always a little fat on steak, but there was so much on mine that it was hard to chew. Other than that, excellent experience overall.

Came here for a quick bite and drink before walking over to see a Broadway show, cute place and cheap food. $20 two-course lunch, Tuesday - Friday, 11:30am - 3:00pm The mini version of the fish and chips cured the craving for fish and chips, I'd like to come back and check out the lunch specials. There wasn't enough time this time.

I was surprised by how great the food was. Fish n chips were a banger and their drinks were simple and yummy. Lunch menu is the best in NYC Midtown. They have a special hot draft British beer and i would return. With friends, date or even solo to enjoy a game. Really perfect spot in the city for a British pub! THE SCOTCH EGG WAS AMAZING! I could eat a few of these as a meal they were that good. Seasoned super well and the sauce it comes with perfectly matched the it. That is a 10/10! The shepherds pie was the main course and for me I think it was plenty big enough to satisfy my hunger. I loved it. The food came out in a timely manner, though there weren’t any other customers besides one man chatting the bartender up which kept her from paying attention to much else. Overall I enjoyed my meal and I would come back.

Part of me wants to hide this gem while another part wants to celebrate it. The employees demonstrated remarkable expertise in their field. The restaurant's decor sets the right mood. All food items brought joy to our taste buds. The cost is justified by the excellent meal quality.

You can find yourself in the Renaissance for a moment. Food is just ok, but the environment is ideal for large gatherings. My friends and I had a great time reading and chatting.

I live locally and often come to the pub with friends so when my mother came for a visit, I thought I'd take her here for lunch. Big mistake. We noticed a sign on entering to wait to be seated. We could see the bar was not busy as it was the middle of the day, and the dining room was middling. We waited and waited, and no one came. We decided to take a seat at a table in the dining room at one of the many empty tables. Then a Scottish guy came up and barked at us that this table was reserved. We tried to explain that we had been waiting quite a while to be seated but we were met with more gruffness. He gave us menus then went off about his business. We weren't given any water and were still quite shocked at the whole experience. When he came to us to take our orders, we'd already felt so unwelcomed that we wouldn't chance further insult and left. We went across the street to the Park Avenue Tavern and had a beautiful lunch, excellent and honest jovial service, and have not even been back to The Shakespeare since. Do better!

The kitchen delivers on the promises their menu makes. This place sets the standard for excellence. Such professional service has become increasingly rare. You won't leave hungry and every item we had was excellent. This spot deserves experiencing.

It’s an average and busy neighborhood cafe. We came here for an early morning coffee, we had a cold brew and regular filtered coffee but the coffee -my filtered coffee- was sour and to be honest I didn’t like it! The place has a unique painted frames and they make fresh croissant. Nice music and good service.

Quickly ran in here for two breakfast sandwiches and a coffee on our way to the airport. It wasn't as quick as expected because everything is made freshly by a one-woman army in the open kitchen! It worked out fine for us and we made it to the airport on time. The egg and cheese sandwich was so flavorful and tasty! The tuna melt was good too. The latte was delicious and the staff were all so kind when we asked about local transportation advice :) It is also so cute inside, I wish we had time to sit and eat. 10/10!

Went today @2pm it was that was quite busy inside all seating was taken, prompting us to choose a seat outdoors. I ordered a vanilla iced latte, which I found to be pleasurable and well-prepared.

Many tables were dirty, and the floor could’ve used a sweep, while staff were chatting about weekend plans instead of tidying up. It gave the impression that customer experience wasn’t the priority. Overall, the food and coffee were good, but the atmosphere and service could use some improvement.

September is a cute spot for great coffee and a quick breakfast. The vibe is super relaxed and the staff is chill and kind. It’s also a nice place to co-work if you need a cozy spot to get some work done. Definitely a go-to for a laid-back morning in Brooklyn

Attention to detail isn’t dead! November 19th is an experience within itself. I went in to buy a gift, (it seems most of the other shoppers were there for the same reason) and was instantly refreshed by the ambiance of the store. This is one of few stores in the city that you could spend hours in because every item you pick up is as nostalgic as it is beautiful. Nowadays Orchard street is filled with minimalist shops that all seem to sell a different shade of neutral tone. If you want something truly unique. Go here.

I was treated very badly by the staff (black women with glasses) working at the window. She shouted at me impatiently saying I am taking up her time (without even understanding my questions) I’m astonished at the system could hire such uncivilized people and I have written a complaint hoping that this could be looked at.

If it was just for the train service, MTA deserves 1 star for all their signal problems and million times of bringing me late to work and tripling my commute. The station is big with different levels, the pros is that it's big and you get to choose the yellow or orange lines, the cons is that it's big and literally takes you longer to get to your train. Always having some kind of performances, however alot of homeless people are starting to move in the station.

This station is centrally located in mid town with easy access to Penn station, Empire State Building, and shopping at Macy’s and mall above the station. The electronic display upgrades are welcome change. The station was clean. There was a platform performer doing karaoke which was a good entertainment till train arrived.

If you need help nobody going to help but use ur card to pay or buy a ticket for 7 days . If you are lost . You must need internet and use gps.

There is a set of musical instruments at this station hidden in plain site. Look for green metal bars at just above eye level on the N/R Platforms. Wave your hand in front of the holes. Pretty cool!

Probably one of the worst subway stations in the world. Always smells bad, looks ugly, plenty of rats, unbelievably hot in summer. Such a shame for the city.

Such a great experience going to the observation deck at the Empire State Bldg. I really enjoyed all of the different inviting displays they used to tell the history of building the Rockefeller Center. Made it really fun and interactive. We learned a lot about all of the movies made there. But then the views¡ Amazing! The sun set while ẁe were there and I loved seeing the city at night. It would be on my top 10 things to do in NYC. I highly recommend you make it part of your NYC visit.

Visiting the Rockefeller Center was an unforgettable experience! The architecture is stunning, and the atmosphere is vibrant and full of energy. Every corner offers something unique, from the art and sculptures to the amazing views. I especially loved the observation deck — the city looks absolutely breathtaking from up there. You simply can not go to the Big Apple without catching a show at this iconic Music Hall! The epic Christmas Show is the penultimate event of the year! Santa, Rockettes, star struck Camels... and the Nativity - the meaning of it all! This latest trip was to see final show of The Greatest Showman Hugh Jackman!! He was in fact The Greatest! Chatting, mingling, laughing, singing, dancing....jumping rope! And he personally, honestly thanked not only the gent who's played the famous Radio City organ the last 40 years (!!!!), but every one who works to keep this classic Show place it's spectacular self - staff, ushers, concessions, restroom traffic coordinators... They all work seamlessly so every visit here is a magical experience! The allowance for t he modest use of cell phones to record memories is so very welcome!! My sister & I went with our parents when we were little, now we go together to relive that joy! Memories old and new blend joyfully together to create an unforgettable experience.

We had Vip Tickets with the Family and James was our Tour Guide. Absolutely loved it !!! He was amazing and hilarious. We had access to everything including a private elevator on the big rooftop down to the bar. We had an amazing view, didn’t have to wait for anything and could skip every queue. We had so much time for everything and could properly enjoy this amazing experience and view. Would do it again anytime !!!

Hands down, this is the best rooftop view in New York City! While the Empire State Building is great, Top of the Rock offers an unobstructed, breathtaking view of both the Empire State Building and Central Park. Ticket prices vary, but general admission starts at around $40-44 USD. It's absolutely worth every penny. For the best photos and experience, try to visit during sunset. The three different levels of outdoor observation decks give you plenty of space to enjoy the incredible 360-degree view. Highly recommend it

An absolute must-see in New York City! The Rockefeller Center combines history, style, and one of the best observatory experiences in the city. The water is amazing, and the vibe is great. Be prepared to spend a lot so I recommend maybe bring food, leave the money for the games! The waves are great, the depth is great, and watch the young ones as the waves can get a little rough.

Authentic Coney Island hot dogs. They use Nathan’s beef hot dogs & also have a pork and beef alternative. The atmosphere is really enjoyable and feels like a hidden gem. We ordered a traditional Coney Island for authenticity. I also ordered a Mexican fries as I overheard the host. They were smothered in chili, cheese sauce, onions, and jalapeño relish. It was very. enjoyable. The Coney Island traditional hot dogs were great. My wife also loved the traditional Coney Island dog who’s an enormous food critic with her family having owned restaurants. The hosts were very friendly & gave free refills. Will definitely come back again and recommend. Their awards fits the establishment.

What an experience ! I highly recommend to do it. It is a little adventure to go and spend the day over there. First you have to take the boat (the public one at $2,90 the trip) After you can spend the day in an empty "city". It looks a bit like a "ghost town". You can rent a city bike over there and just enjoy the day without any cars around you with some amazing photo spots of NYC/status of liberty in the background. I visited Governors Island after some friends recommended it and booked us the QC NY Spa experience. Honestly, I’d never even heard of Governors Island before they mentioned it! We arrived at the Battery Maritime Building at Slip 7 just before 10 a.m., and the ferry line was already long. Pro tip: if you have a QC Spa reservation, the ferry is free. Boats run every 30 minutes, and the ride is only about 7 minutes, perfect for anyone like me who gets seasick, since it’s literally just across the water. With about 15 minutes to spare before our spa check-in, we wandered over to Castle Williams (aka the Haunted Fort). Built in 1811 as part of New York’s harbor defenses, it later served as a military prison and picked up a reputation for ghostly sightings and eerie stories. Rangers told us to come back at 4 p.m. for the historical artillery demonstration, where they show how cannons were loaded and fired back in the 1800s. Unfortunately, a heavy rainstorm cut our plans short, so we just lined up early for the ferry back. I was bummed we didn’t get to explore more of the island. I spotted food trucks and bike rentals that I’d love to check out next time. That’s okay though, it just gives me the perfect reason to come back and explore this historic and unique island a little deeper.

Great spot to have a get-away for a day then go to Red Hook and have a great evening. Went for the Jazz Festival with a bunch of people dressed as 1930s flappers and it was great! A bunch of vendors and a good time. Also, Citibikes or you can bring your own.

i went to this venue for the first time last month for a chapell roan concert and i was not disappointed! i loved the location it’s in, it felt very safe too. I was in the general admission/pit area and could see chappell on the main stage very well as well as when she walked down the runway part of the stage. the stadium was very spacious and i loved how it was outdoors.

Saw Hozier and Allison Russell here a little over a year ago, and had a fantastic experience. It’s an amazing outside venue, very clean and well-maintained. The staff are very nice and it’s overall an outstanding atmosphere with perfect views. My favorite concert and venue thus far, and I hope to go back one day.

Really great venue! I came for a cheap concert with some friends on a whim, and had a really good time! The place was clean, and I still enjoyed the show despite being off to the side of the stage. The steep stadium seating makes for a great viewing experience, and it looked like the folks on the floor were having a great time as well. The venue has really cool soundproofing that drastically reduces the noise outside of the stadium, and the tunnels leading inside to the seating are virtually silent.

Great venue for concerts and music festivals. Came here for Above & Beyond and had a great time. Easy to get drinks and bathrooms were convenient and accessible. Lots of fun and will come back for future events!

Such a cool venue, 15K seats and not a bad place to sit. GA is on the courts, benches on the sides and then seats in the back center. Sound is great but getting up and out is a bit of a bottle neck. Shows start and end early due to sound ordinance (10pm) but I'm okay with that to get back into the city. Town goes on lock down during shows, plan to get there early to check out the local bars and restaurants. Food are kiosks but you can bring bags. Subway is 5-8 minutes walk, MTA 2 minutes. Now for the Mumford show, crazy good and need to see band again.

Absolutely a great place to see concerts. You really can't go wrong with any seats since it's a "smaller" venue. I got tickets for Chappell Roan, I thought the tickets I bought were next to the isle for seats 1 & 2, turns out the seats were in the middle. So word to the isle, when ordering tickets, the blue line going in between the seats is not an isle, it's a small separation between seat 1 & 29. The bathrooms weren't that well kept up. We got there early around the time doors opened and there was a strong smell of piss. There's some food spots to go to before getting the stadium. Dirty Pierre was a nice spot to get food. All of it was good - burgers, sandwich etc.

I’ve seen Tom Petty (2017), Arctic Monkeys, Greta van Fleet, Brandi Carlile, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Fall out Boy, Weezer, the Marley Brothers, and just tonight went to All things Go (2025). This is one of the best things Forest Hills has, a place to hear great music. Where people can come together and bond over a shared love of really good tunes and the vibe you can only get from a live show. It is quite pricey but that’s to be expected. The bathrooms have been mega upgraded and are always clean and well maintained. The staff are also really nice and helpful as long as you’re nice to them back.

Great staff. Felt completely safe. Great sound. Not so huge. Everyone had a good spot to see and enjoy the concert. Lots of trees. Fairly clean and plenty of portable restrooms available. Even saw some fireflies ❤️

On a nice day, this is hands down, the best place in all of NYC to see a concert. I had the pleasure of photo and filming the legendary rap group Dead Prez and the even more legendary Femi Kuti. It was a pleasant summer Sunday evening and the show and crowd were full of energy and loud cries for justice!

I saw Patrice Roberts and Friends! What a show! I enjoyed the energy ofnthr concert and the patrons. The grounds were clean and well maintained. Ample rest rooms at the rear with food and drink stands

We have been here twice and each time we had a great experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. We splurged for the VIP seating which lets you sit in the bleachers under cover with free drinks and being able to order food for pickup. A great location for a show.

Excellent free concerts! You just need to come early to get a seat, or you will be standing for the entire duration of the concert on the lawn in front of the stage. Capital One credit cars members with one guest enjoy a much shorter line compared to general entrance. Reasonably clean portable bathrooms - a nice unexpected feature 😉

Morgan Freemams Symphonic Blues Experience is among the better shows I ever seen anywhere.this is a wait in line for free tickets venue and I got there an hour early thinking I might not get in but had no problem..

Summer Stage is a delightful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis, a hidden gem situated near the East Green of Central Park. If you have a Capital One card, you can skip the line and go right in, that was a real treat for a Wednesday night, its the little things that go a long way. I was fortunate enough to go with an old friend to listen to Finneas and Ashe with The Favors last week. The setting was romantic, the music divine like honey. My memories of the past fifteen years in the city settled in as we swayed to their new album "The Dream" the video projections changed between an old timey black and white aesthetic to a vibrant a haze filled color video stream. Everyone was happy. The park is an enchanted place in October. I highly recommend this venue for family, friends and loves.

Can be a little difficult to find parking on nice days. Super large and spacious. Lots of seating options. Citi bikes available all around the park. Definitely wear comfortable shoes as it can be a lot of walking.

I came here in the late afternoon and fortunately the beautiful sunset was there welcoming me. I wish to revisit the place because there are so many spots i haven’t had a chance to see it. I feel tranquil being there because there are no many people. Coming there is like a free therapy for me, lying down on the grass while looking at the sky changes its color. The place is clean. It’s perfect to have a short picnic. Unfortunately i do not see many restrooms there.

I visited the island for my son’s soccer tournament. Beautiful place with good soccer turf fields. However, accessibility was an issue as you had to cross a toll bridge to an area where parking may be an issue.

So cute and beautiful. There are so many picnic tables and barbecue area. You can enjoy with your family near the water. Parking is free. So many spot for football or soccer. Good for kids . Awesome. I Like this area. Bathroom are clean and well maintained.

I went to the San Gennaro Festival on Sunday, and it was an incredible experience. The streets were absolutely packed — at times it was almost impossible to walk because of the crowds — but that also added to the lively and festive atmosphere. Everywhere you looked there were stands, music, and decorations, making it a fun and vibrant place to be. One of the highlights was definitely the food. There were so many restaurants and food stands offering a wide variety of Italian dishes, snacks, and desserts. It’s the perfect place to try different flavors, and everything I tasted was delicious. Overall, the San Gennaro Festival is a must-see if you’re in New York in September. Be ready for big crowds, but also for great food, energy, and a true taste of Italian culture in Little Italy.

This was one of the most amazing Italian festivals Ive ever been too!! Literally went on for blocks mix of vendors, restaurants, and little pop-ups for food. To-go cocktails everywhere you look. If you get the chance to go start at Canal and Mulberry

We had so much fun! Normally we don't like crowds, but everyone seemed to go with the flow, so we did too. It was a fun, relaxed atmosphere with so much to eat and see. I didn't think it was as big as it is. They have some carnival rides, different vendors and lots of food! It is pricey, BUT every piece of food I had was incredible. They have porta potty's which is great since they have so many drink options. Great, place to spend a day.

Wear your best walking shoes and have an empty belly! Food and drinks everywhere. So much to take in and enjoy.

Went for fan week because it’s gotten so expensive! I remember when you could afford to attend earlier matches but wow not even during fan week. At least you still can get close to players as they practice. Yes it’s been a while but now it felt like I was going to some luxury mall! So many corporate sponsors and marketing. Guess that is the reality of any event these days. Sad.

The not-so-great first: this year (2025) they had a “Prime Burger” food/beer stand — no relation to the old NYC spot — and it was a disappointment. Overpriced, sloppy service, and my $20+ Heineken came in a flimsy cup half-filled with foam. Definitely not on par with the rest of the US Open experience. Now the good, which far outweighs that: I had an amazing time as always! The atmosphere is unbeatable — come early and you’ll find fun freebies and souvenirs. If you have Amex or Chase, bring your card: the Chase terrace has a VIP vibe with court views, and the Amex pavilion is a great indoor escape when it’s hot. Lots of interactive booths, giveaways, and activities add to the fun. And of course, the tennis is incredible. Even during Fan Week you can see top players — I saw Zverev, Cerúndolo, Sinner, and even Martina Navratilova on stage. Plus, the junior and lesser-known matches are just as exciting and can keep you entertained all day. Despite the one bad food stand, the US Open is a fantastic experience I’d recommend to anyone.

We enjoyed the day and who ever has the money and loves tennis should go for it at least once. + The stadiums and courts are great. + The atmosphere (day & night session) was brilliant. Nevertheless the US Open seem to focus the event & monetization more than the sports experience: - It’s extremely expensive (+/- $1.000 per person/day) and overcrowded - Food quality is poor and waiting times are long - The sponsors get more attention than the sports or the players After all I left the event with mixed feelings. I won’t come back but I am happy I did it once. From the 3 grand slams I have been to, the least fun one.

Went for a free fencing class from the New York Fencing Club. Nice space. Would benefit from bigger and better lockers. Got a bit stuffy with the fencing stuff too. Couldn't really open the windows due to winter.

Be aware it is at the top of a 5 floor walk up. Studios are really nice, Marley floor and have sound systems for use. Wall and center barres available.

Had such a great time! It was my first year attending. We wanted to watch the parade and ended up in the parade. Saw so many creative costumes. The spirit of Halloween took over nyc. I will be attending again next year god willing. If you’re in nyc for Halloween next year definitely check out the parade. (It gets really packed)

Halloween it is, it is a good 2 hour entertainment, it is free of cost, prefer a own vehicle, we went to 9th street and the parade came towards us after 30 minutes of waiting, but we got to see a lot of characters in action, shouted a lot, it was all good, we liked the decorations and the costumes and the part where we prepared a costume the process was fun. But we went by subway, due to this parade a lot of them were closed, and after a certain time it didn’t felt safe, restaurants were not close either. Overall it was a 7/10.

A once in a lifetime experience, it’s amazing to enjoy the parade and the hole Halloween experience in NYC

The address for this is not where the movies are so be sure to check your ticket. The site shows pictures of a screen with a view. I originally thought it would be a Brooklyn view of the Manhattan skyline with a movie. Instead It's in midtown on a second floor terrace. The ticket gets you headphones. It's cozy, the alcohol is overpriced. Overall it was a unique experience but nowhere near the way the ticket site makes it look. Also calling it "rooftop" is almost false advertising.

I had the awesome opportunity to experience rooftop films for a date night. The receptions was so warm and welcoming. The menu had some awesome choices and there were even specialty drinks themed after the movie. The seating was comfy and the venue was super clean. I would totally recommend this and do it again!

Best deal in town: $16/ticket gets you a live band to open the movie, the movie, and free drinks at the after-party. Every summer series screening has this schedule. They also screen in great venues around Manhattan/BK/Queens. There are some negative reviews about waiting in line to enter for the movie? Door times are posted...shouldn’t be a problem for people who read the website.

Rooftop films is an amazing venue for new artist and old. They have hosted some of the greatest films ever. The one you see here was hosted some years ago by a great film maker and friend of mine Florian Habitchi. He is a man of dreams and artistry when it comes to film making. Follow him and rooftop films to an adventure you will never forget!!!!!

The website isn't working properly. Have been trying to buy two tickets for the Bushwick location for Monday Aug 1, 2016 and the website won't accept payments. Have tried many ways, different days, different cards, and my husband as well. Nothing. I have written the company emails, nothing.

Advertises movies to start a 7 - then has NO FOOD - so you starve until after 10pm... The wine is horrible... and then they treat the entry to events like a clown show - took an hour to get in through their atrocious system. It was painful, arrogant, and slow.

Don't waste your money on this lousy organization. Staff is unprofessional and condescending patronizing deadbeats. Better off seeing a film at a regular theater and or netflix. Total joke of a system. Maybe it was better years ago when it first started, but at this point its just poorly run and even sadly staffed. Save yourself the grief, seriously.

Wonderful experience. When you get here especially on the weekends there is a long line but rest assured it goes very fast but I don't mind for security sake. There are discounts for new Yorkers and veterans seniors. As soon as you walk in you will be amazed with the elaborate staircase and walking in on the first floor welcome to ancient Egypt. Explore the continents Africa Europe Asia..... my wife and I enjoy it I like the old houses inside she likes the paintings. And a cafe on the first floor and a restaurant on top I believe 5th. It's a oasis in the middle of the big apple 🍎 ..

Amazing, astounding, and about a thousand more superlatives can only properly describe this museum. Spent about three hours today and didn't get beyond the first floor. The Greek and Egyptian collections are mind-blowing, the chance to see the detail that masters and artists put into their craft, to ponder the hours dedicated to an expression of the images in the mind's eye. Unless you have a list of what you want to see, you'll have to set aside a few days to truly breathe this place in.

It was my very first time at The MET and the experience was absolutely incredible! The staff at the reception were welcoming and attentive, and the ticket entry was smooth with no lines at all. Security was also very friendly, which made everything even more pleasant. Every gallery is breathtaking, and the history behind each piece makes it even more fascinating. You could easily spend hours and hours exploring without ever getting bored. Truly unforgettable!

I am a frequent visitor to the museum and it's always a pleasure. Will definitely say that the local pricing comes in clutch, but also male sure you check NYCPS holiday schedule to avoid buskers days. Currently, they're doing a lot of renovations and I'm excited to see what the next 5 years will bring. Will say if you aren't a local, definitely try to plan to come when the met gala exhibit is on and don't forget to see the instruments!

The MET is definitely one of the top 5 museums to visit while in NYC and probably the top 1 to consider visiting if you are in the city for a short time. Buy tickets online will save you time at the counter. The museum opens at 10, and there was already a long queue forming outside to enter. The depth and quality of the art pieces are very good, with extensive artefacts ranging from Antiquity to modern history. Strolling through the museum will set you back in time and can be overwhelming, in a positive way. As the museum is very big, do some research ahead to select the areas you’d like to see in priority. Around certain art exhibited it could get busy but that moves pretty fast. The rooftop on level 5 offers. Nice view over Central Park and manhattan. Finally, wear your most comfortable shoes as the museum is a maze that surely will amaze you.

HUGE museum, I spent there 5 hours and wasn't able to see everything even thoug I was walking past exhibitions quite fast. I would recommend picking certain wings or exhibits and devoting time for them. It's impossible to see whole thing during one visit. On top of that there is also a roof deck where you can enjoy views of Manhattan. Truly spectacular!

Because of its vast collection, it’s incredibly easy to get lost if you go in without a plan. I highly recommend joining one of the free guided tours — it’s the best way to see the highlights and hear the fascinating stories behind them. Beyond that, grab a museum map, mark the sections that interest you most, and explore those areas. Otherwise, trying to see the entire museum in one go is nearly impossible — even three full days wouldn’t be enough!

My visit was awesome! There was so much too see, I’ve been there for about 4 hours, including a show in the Hayden planetarium and it was barely enough to walk through every exhibit and read a few things. The 4th floor was my favorite by far, because it had the dinosaur bones, which was very interesting. The large Titanosauros was amazing. The other floors and exhibits were also very interesting, like the ones about early civilizations. The animal ones were also very nicely done. I also really liked the milky way show in the planetarium. Overall it was a very good experience and I can’t recommend it enough for the price, If you have enough time to see everything.

The American Museum of Natural History never disappoints. You could easily spend hours here — especially in the incredible animal exhibits, where lifelike dioramas make you feel like you’re standing in the middle of the wild. It’s one of those places that fascinates you no matter how many times you visit. This was our second time, and it was just as impressive as the first. Even though the weather outside was beautiful — and we briefly considered renting bikes in Central Park instead — we stuck to our plan and went to the museum. Weather-wise, probably not the best choice, but absolutely worth it. We added two special exhibitions to our visit (both extra cost): “Invisible Worlds” — a stunning, beautifully produced show about the hidden connections between all living things and how we share DNA with nearly everything on Earth. Highly recommended. The Milky Way Encounters — another highlight, with breathtaking visuals projected on the dome ceiling as you recline in your seat and journey through space. Aside from that, we explored much of the permanent collection — though there’s always more to see. I’d say we covered about 80% this time, which is progress from our first visit! A world-class museum, perfect for all ages. Whether you’re into nature, science, or just want to feel small in the best possible way — this place is a must.

What an amazing place. The mammal exhibits blew me away, and the dinosaur fossils are just stunning. There's to much to see in just one day. There are several cultural exhibitions as well, and the museum has acknowledged that it did not act in the best manner all the time in collecting them. You will definitely learn something while you're here.

Excellent collection of dinosaur fossil collections, so many are complete. Nice to see it up and close to see the scale of the actual dinosaur bones. Conveniently located on the same block as the subway metro station of 81st Street station. Their are many collections of animals from around the world, not just American species. Hayden Planetarium was an incredible experience that one must try. The screen is semi circle in the ceiling to get a 3D effect feel. Sometimes, it feels like you are moving!!! Highly recommend to buying tickets before arriving to save time. Very highly recommended 👌 👍

Was on a work trip to NY but this was definitely my highlight to-go place, who doesn't like dinosaur! However I went close to closing hour, so there was very little crowd frankly which makes it very easy to navigate around and photos were mostly free of people! This is a huge museum which a great number of exhibitions you prob can spend more time here! Also nearby is central park which you can go for a stroll right after! So much to see and experience. Some of the exhibits feel dated, but that in itself makes them worthy of exhibition since some of them are almost a hundred years old. The halls and hallways are chock full of so much information. The planetarium was excellent, the vivarium was a treat. The staff were super helpful and knowledgeable. Not a museum you can do fully in one trip.

Breath taking NYC history & architecture worth seeing! The library is steps away from Bryant Park so enjoy a lunch in the park before adventuring over! Simply stunning outside with grand staircase entry, fountains & so many photo ops. My fave spot was the stunning massive stone archways at the top of the steps before entering! The inside was just as grand with immaculate granite carved staircase & grand hallways with floor to ceiling windows. They have a really nice bookstore / cafe to check out while here!

So happy I finally got to visit the NY Public Library, it was so amazing to see! The lions outside were so cool and regal looking as if guarding the area. We went a little after they opened and there already was a lot of people but that's expected for a popular spot. Be mindful that it's still a library so there will be areas you're not allowed to access or take photos in. While most of the library and it's exhibits are free you may wanna schedule a tour to gain admittance to certain areas most of the visitors can't enter during certain times. Either way the architecture of the building is beautiful and amazing to see. There's lots to check out and I'd go again just to learn more about its history. Definitely a must see when you're in NY.

Very popular place to visit. Wonderful gift shop. You will go through security prior to entering. I took the Library's free tour which requires an advance sign up online. The tour was led by a volunteer. It was very informative and allowed access to the Rose Reading Room. The tour discusses the history, architecture and various rooms. Most rooms which are research and aren't open to the public. I also took the Library's free tour of the Polonsky Treasures Tour (sign up 15 minutes prior at exhibition entrance). Most important, I obtained a temporary library card!! I signed up online and had my application validated at a branch.

Visiting the New York public library on 5th avenue was one of the highlights of my trip. The New York Public Library’s Stephen A. Schwarzman Building is absolutely breathtaking. The architecture alone is worth the visit — grand staircases, elegant reading rooms, and those iconic lions at the entrance make it feel like stepping into history. The Rose Main Reading Room is stunning and incredibly peaceful, perfect for reading, studying, or just soaking in the atmosphere. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the exhibits are well curated. A true New York gem and a must-visit for anyone who loves books, history, or beautiful spaces.

Architecturally unbelievable building, a testament to what people can create when utility isn't the theme. The NYPL Treasures Gallery is quite amazing, such a varied array of items celebrating New York and arts, literature, and history. The original Winnie the Pooh stuffed animals! The handwritten George Washington Farewell Address! Dickens' writing desk, chair and lamp! A Gutenberg Bible! Audobon's original drawings! A quick free detour in NYC but kind of a must-see.

Built in 1911 and guarded by two marble lions named Patience and Fortitude, this Beaux-Arts masterpiece holds more than 50 million items, none of which can help you find your life purpose, but it’s still worth a try. Step inside the Rose Main Reading Room and you’ll feel like Hogwarts met an SAT prep center.. awe-inspiring ceilings, scholars pretending to be deep, and tourists pretending not to be loud. Wi-Fi works, the ghosts of scholars past are polite, and the air smells faintly of history and printer toner. Free admission, which is shocking in New York where even breathing sometimes comes with a surcharge. Numerous movies were filmed here, including Ghostbusters, Spider-Man, and The Day After Tomorrow, proving that even Hollywood can’t resist a good shush. If libraries had an Olympic event for quiet grandeur, this one would win gold while shushing the competition. Best enjoyed sitting under a chandelier, pretending you’re writing the next Great American Novel when you’re really Googling where to eat near Bryant Park.

A great place to visit on weekends for families. We visited in October, and the park were having a lot of events for kids to participate. They had Halloween candy trial and most kids were wearing costumes. The park is organized and designed well, so you can see every animal on the map in a smooth flow. Many cool animals and one of our favorites were sea lions. They were so excited and swimming around showing tricks. The giraffes are majestic, and they even had the Malayan tapir. Sufficient bathrooms around the park, but limited food choices.

My kids and I spent the whole Saturday there, exploring the zoo, seeing all the animals, and enjoying the fun Boo at the Zoo experience. The Halloween-themed activities and experience booths were fantastic, and everything was very family-friendly. It’s the perfect place to spend the day with kids. We had such a wonderful time!

Zoo is amazing...it was worth getting the membership. The exhibits were not only fun but knowledgeable. We went and they have these super fun carvings for their boo at the zoo event. Come prepared to walk but you won't be able to see everything in one day multiple trips will be required 😁😁

I love the zoo! I visited on a Thursday, and even then the ticket system was down, they all were very helpful! There were a few summer day camp programs with kids visiting but nothing too hectic! I was able to get lunch and get a place to sit to eat! Saw so many animals 🦆🦌🦒🦭 Amazing time! ♥️

As always, the Bronx Zoo is amazing. A perfect place to go and get in touch with nature in a perfect setting that makes you feel that you are not in the city. This last weekend they had numerous activities for the kids. Also, the new halloween decoration for this year looks amazing. The animals made with real pumpkins are spectacular and unique. We already planned our next trip in the evening to enjoy the halloween lights and decoration.

What I love most about the Bronx Zoo is how much it focuses on education and conservation. Every exhibit feels like a learning experience, showing not just the animals but also their habitats and the importance of protecting them. It’s inspiring to see kids and adults alike walk away with new knowledge and a deeper respect for wildlife. The zoo does a wonderful job combining fun and learning — from the Children’s Zoo to interactive exhibits and talks, it’s clear they care about making every visit meaningful. Families, students, and even solo visitors can all find something to discover. And for those watching their budget, the zoo offers a special admission price on Wednesdays, which makes it easy to enjoy this amazing place more often. Overall, it’s a place that truly balances adventure with purpose — an unforgettable spot to learn, explore, and feel connected to nature.

This was our first trip to Brooklyn and we loved it. A big reason got that was our trip to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. I can honestly say that if I lived in Brooklyn, I would visit the garden at every opportunity. The peace and beauty of the garden can certainly calm the mind. It so happened that we were there while they were celebrating the 100th year of their bonsai display. And we capped the experience off with lunch in the park's Cafe. A great memory to take with us as our trip to the burough came to an end.

I love the garden. Even though I’ve visited a few gardens over the years, this one (luckily my local one) is the best. There are lots of hidden treasures, quiet paths, and lawns to relax on, plus flowers, trees, and bushes from all over the world. You can easily spend a few hours or the whole day here. There are plenty of birds, animals, and beautiful statues scattered throughout. Nature heals. Make sure to stop by the “gift shop.” It was updated a few years ago and now looks state-of-the-art.

One of the most beautiful gardens in NYC. You can spend hours here. It is very large and has a lot of different sections and exhibits. There are specific sections that closes earlier than the botanical garden itself, so you want to do your research on what you want to see. This is just one of the things you should see if you are in NYC.

First off, they have amazing customer service. Everyone I talked to was helpful and kind. Even in the colder fall weather, there was still a lot to see and enjoy. My highlights were the Shakespeare Garden and the Bonsai room. As an educator, I appreciate all they have for students.

Over the weekend I visited the botanical garden in Brooklyn. From the start the city fades away: it’s quiet, well kept, and full of greenery with neat walking paths. The routes are easy to follow—take a short loop or wander longer and pause in the calmer corners. I loved the mix of open areas and wilder-feeling spots; it feels outside the city even though you’re still in it. Overall it felt clean, intentional, and relaxing. I left feeling inspired and refreshed—a great weekend escape without the hassle.

A wonderful place adjacent to the Brooklyn museum and a couple of blocks down the Brooklyn library and prospect park. This garden for the holidays have a festive walk through of the botanical garden. With warm up drinks as you walk through. During the spring and summer it's a great view of colors .you can become a member or just pay as you go.

Beautiful garden, we are lucky to see the summer blooms of roses and variety of flowers. It's truly visual pleasure and so therapeutic, kids & adult alike will love & learn about gardening and nature's little animal helpers. I will definitely go back in here, so close to trains and bus stops & next to Brooklyn Museum.

I was able to take the C train up to 110th Street & then it was just a few blocks away. Well worth the stop to visit the cathedral, which is the largest on the island of Manhattan and is not as busy as St. Patrick's or some of the other cathedrals mid/downtown. They had 7 different mini-chapels that were connected to the main cathedral. The architecture was amazing as well as some of the displays, art & antiques. They also hold daily services that you can check out on their website or displayed out front.

There’s no doubt this is a beautiful church architecturally (5 stars), and it is worth visiting. However, there are a couple of reasons why I had to take off two stars. First, there’s an admission fee, and I have to say it’s pretty steep: $15. It’s presumably an entrance fee with a self-guided tour. However, I was only given a postcard with a QR code, your self-guided tour! If I had been asked for a donation to enter the church, I wouldn’t have any issue. If I had to pay an additional fee for a self-guided audio tour, I wouldn’t have had any issues with that, either. Finally, the sign outside the visitor entrance is misleading (my photo). It says ‘The Cathedral of St John the Divine is a house of prayer for all people. You are welcome here. Please be ready to show your bag(s) to Security upon entering. Please check-in at the Visitor Center.’ When I read this seemingly warm welcome, I did not expect or dream of being charged $15 just to enter the church. Second, the lady at the Visitor Center was nice and friendly. However, the security guard at the entrance was rude. The security guy at the exit was UNBELIEVABLY rude. So, the cathedral is on W 112 street. When you exit the building, you walk on a small walkway towards W 111 street, and there’s a security booth. As I was exiting the premises and right before the security booth, I saw beautiful old stone buildings, which I think are school buildings. I was just amazed and had to stop. As soon as I stopped, the security guy in the booth shouted ‘Can I help you?’ in the meanest possible way. He did not mean ‘(you seem lost) how can I help you?’ It was clear by his tone, he meant ‘what the hell are you doing?’ I simply told him ‘I’m looking at the buildings.’ I was not trespassing; I had pay an admission fee to the church, I was on the path to exit the premises. All I did was stop and admire the buildings. I was not even taking pictures or anything. You know what he did to me? The security guy gave me a ‘GET OUT’ hand gesture. Based on my experience, I suggest that you look at the cathedral from outside. There’s a small park on W111 street. Go there and look at the cathedral from a different angle. I do not recommend going inside unless you want to pay $15 AND get yelled at. Just so that you know many other churches do not charge admission, including the St Patrick’s Cathedral in Midtown.

The cathedral close was collectively designated an official city landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 2017.

I had a great experience, the blessing of the animals was a great event at this church. My dogs had a blast. That was a great opportunity to support the community. Thanks for the blessing of our animals.

I came for a ballet performance and had time to walk around. Really beautiful and impressive looks bigger when you are inside.

The textile conservation lab tour blew my mind. Such an illuminating glimpse into an incredibly niche craft located in one of the biggest cathedrals on earth, which also houses some gorgeous stained glass windows, a beautiful Keith Haring altarpiece, and an oddly secular art collection. Went during pride month and found it to be very welcoming, absolutely massive, and honestly just so different from the countless cathedrals I’ve been in across Europe and Asia.

Came to see the movies in the Park, Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Weather was amazing! They give you these like lawn chairs but it’s on the ground, you can keep them, easy to carry. Free popcorn, seltzer water and T-Shirts. Very nice for the kids to run around while getting some fresh air. Sound was good to the speaker tower placement and no bad seats. Movie stared around 7:40, waiting for the sun to go down. Everyone was peaceful and cleaned up behind themselves after the movie was over. Did I mention, it was free? Can’t go wrong. Movie ended about 9:45 and walking back through the park, good lighting. No worries but again, I wasn’t alone. Good evening.

Absolutely love prospect park! It’s so beautiful and large. It has many pleasant areas to sit and watch people and animals. It’s super peaceful and serene. Wonderful bike and hiking trails. A must for natives and tourists alike:)

This park is very spacious, clean and perfect for walks or other family and friends activities or just looking to detach yourself from the busyness of city life. Its proximity to the train station and nearby cafes and restaurants make it attractive too. So if you’re visiting Brooklyn or looking for another alternative park other than Central Park, this is the place to be.

Very nice escape located centrally in Brooklyn. Walking through it you can experience peaceful rural areas, or see Brooklyn’s diversity in the more crooked areas. It’s a bit dirty in spots, and difficult to keep up with cleaning due to the amount of people that visit the park. Great for a run, bike ride, or simply to relax at. The restrooms are very limited, and only the one on the large building is somewhat passable. The other one on the west side near the playground is less cared for, as is the other two in the center and East side.

A great place to enjoy nature and the outdoors, with expansive, beautifully landscaped green spaces and paths ideal for walking or cycling. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, making it an enjoyable experience for all ages.

I visited a couple of weeks ago, right as fall color peaked. I grabbed a coffee and wandered the winding paths in Brooklyn: leaves crunching under my shoes, trees shifting from gold to deep red, and that crisp, clean air. There’s room for everyone—you can stroll by the water, sit on a bench, and watch the foliage reflect on the surface. What I liked most is how the city noise fades into the background, leaving just the wind and a few quiet conversations. There are big open lawns for relaxing and tucked-away corners if you want solitude. I spent a few hours there and left clear-headed—a perfect spot to soak up autumn.

I remember during covid this park as many parks in each Boro became such important places. From people who have roommates and needed a little space to excicise professionals and the once in while walkers and bikers in the park. It's really a great park . At some points in the park you can barely see the rest of Brooklyn and there are bird watchers of the variety of birds in the park. My wife and I would walk and talk or listen to music on our headphones. There are barbecues and birthday parties or sunbathing in the warmer months. From food bizarre yoga classes .the park peace officers and NYPD is a constant patrol.

Sooo cool!!! Had so much fun as a little solo trip. I underestimated how long it would take to go through. The walk through exhibit is upstairs and you can go down to see all the previous subway carts downstairs. I especially love the bluebird from the 1960s. FYI, hold on to your things tight, because it's easy to lose in the cracks! I accidentally dropped my umbrella and the workers were super nice and helpful getting it back for me! I think my ticket was around $10

Absolutely fantastic! This museum is a nostalgic journey through NYC's transit history. Seeing the collection of vintage subway cars and buses on the lower level is the highlight—you can walk right through them! It’s a beautifully preserved piece of New York’s backbone. Strongly recommend for anyone interested in urban history or cool engineering. Pro Tip: Go on a weekday morning to avoid the crowds and have more time to explore the old train interiors!

Very educational and informative. There's plenty of pictures and descriptions to read about each item. Even a big timeline of the transit system displayed too. There's also decommissioned trains from each era where you can go in and see all of the old ads from back then. There's a bit of everything for anyone including the labeling of the inner parts of the train for people to see. It's very spacious and has good ventilation. Recommend booking a time slot in advanced (we booked ours an hour before we got there since we were already eating breakfast nearby)

Such a great museum, incredibly underrated. For only $10~ you get the entire history of the subways, bus system and much more. On a moderate summer day it was still comfortable below ground even without AC in parts of the museum. The original subway cars are so unique to walk through, and reading the placards on the amount of work that went into the tunnel construction is wild. Recommended!

What a gem of a museum in Brooklyn. It’s as you can imagine a nostalgic walk down memory lane. You can walk in and out of old subway cars with their decade accurate advertisements on the walls. The gift shop had some decent mugs and magnets! Def recommend for a fun afternoon during the weekend.

Wow! So much fun. I have no idea why I waited so long to visit this trip down nostalgia. Well... Sort of, I'm not that old to remember everything. Lol. The setting in a real subway station just adds to the look and feel of the place. The stories and blurbs bring the history to life. These were real people who dug with the sweat of their brow so real people could go to work, look for work or just live their lives in historical NY. I especially love the advertisements, as they speak volumes about the time period(s). Highly recommend. Mechanics and engineers will love the engines, traffic lights and other parts that keep the trains moving.

Worth a trip to see a nice collection of old subway cars! You can walk in and out of them. They also have a bunch of old Subway memorabilia all over the museum - very educational and fascinating to learn about how it all was put together.
