Archeticture is uniquely stylish with well preserved combination of marble and wood, constructed back in 1956. Store Vega has a capacity of ~1500 people. There is a relatively large balcony upper floor and three bars in total. Wonderful and historic venue with FANTASTIC sound and concerts for diverse genres. I've been to hundreds of concerts in dousins of venues - VEGA remains #1 on my personal favourites 👏👏

Great venue. But it takes a lifetime to get your bag/jacket back at the end of the night! Wildly congested system, especially if you have a train to catch. Fix that shit ASAP! 🙏

Really great venue. It was nice to be able to bring my son to an all ages show. Staff was nice, although they wouldn’t let you bring a coat inside? Sight lines are pretty good, even from the seating in the balcony. Easy access by public transport.

Vega has a nice selection but the fact that visitors are FORCED to leave their jackets for 30kr is not fair. If it's mandatory due to fire reason (🤣), then include it in the price maybe? Oh but you seem to make good use of hidden fees, adding 10kr on the price that "includes fees". Compared to any other like-sized venue, Vega really take advantages of its customers.

Fun venue that seems versatile for lots of different types of music. Expensive drinks like everywhere else. Stated deal for wine that was not honored when you actually ordered.

Outstanding cocktail experience! The “doorman” was very friendly, welcoming us to the cocktail bar minutes before last call. We chose to sit by the bar to watch how each cocktail was made. I’d also recommend checking out the rest of the bar for the decor. My favorite drink was the Risalamande (clarified), but honestly, you can’t go wrong with the choices here.

We tried to go on a Saturday, but it was impossible to get a table without a reservationso, we came back on Sunday for drinks, and it was totally worth it! We loved the vibe, with great energy and the cocktails were amazing. Definitely a place ill recomend if you are in the city

We were seated by the window with a beautiful view, which added to the charm of the evening. The living-room-style seating makes it feel more like visiting a friend’s home than a bar, and the staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. The cocktail menu leans toward creative, modern options rather than classics, but everything we tried was expertly made—and I have no doubt the bartenders could mix up any classic if asked. A true speakeasy experience, with a hidden entrance and cozy lounge interior that transports you back to the 1920's. The cocktails were innovative and a treat to look at in addition to being delicious. There were small snacks available to order for those who need to eat while they drink. All in all a great place for an intimate date or a fancy meetup with a larger group.

What a place! This was the best bar experience I’ve ever had. Since we went on a weekday when it wasn’t too crowded, we didn’t need a reservation, but you probably would on the weekend. Super cool vibe! You really feel like you’re stepping back in time when you walk into this bar. I visited on a Sunday evening – it would have been the icing on the cake if there had been some live music that day. I had their green Chartreuse on ice, while the people I was with tried some of their exciting cocktails. I can’t comment on the taste of the cocktails myself, but they definitely looked interesting.

We only tried the craft beer, but it was excellent. Each type we sampled had rich and unique taste that stood out. The staff were very friendly and the cozy atmosphere made it perfect for quiet evening with family. It felt warm, welcoming and unhurried. The outdoor seating was very lovely, with warm lights that created very relaxing mood. It fet like a cozy place where you can enjoy your drink.

Terrible experience. My friends and I walked up and the security guard immediately shut the gate on us, saying there was “no space,” even though the place was nowhere near full. As people were leaving, we asked again and were rudely dismissed. When we politely asked if we could wait for a table, his exact response was: “If I say no, it’s a no.” The arrogance and disrespect were unbelievable. This staff member needs to reexamine how he speaks to customers.

Down an alley off of a main street in Copenhagen is a cocktail bar that's more of an oasis. My buddy and I arrived at 6pm on a Sunday evening, just in time for the bartender to open the giant gates to the outdoor patio. We walked inside and sat at a large booth table. Here's our experience: 1) Cocktails: The menu is only two pages, but each cocktail is quality. Having a sweet tooth, I ordered the R&R with Roe and Company whiskey, rhubarb liqueur, raspberries, lemon and sugar. I can honestly say it's the best cocktail I've ever have. Even with a price tag of $20, I almost ordered another, because of how balanced it was made. 2) Space: It's down an alley. Enough said. The outdoor patio and the inside space are simple, but well designed. 3) Service: It's superb- attentive, fast and friendly. If you have any questions, the bartender will guide you through the menu.

My wife and I dropped by this place with 8 family members and friends a Thursday evening. They had no room for a large party like us inside, but we got seated in the glasses and covered patio section with heaters. Which was very fine. This place makes incredible cocktails - very exiting and tasty. A bit expensive - but fair I guess taking into account taste and combinations. Definitely a place to visit for cocktails.

What a cool place for drinks. Every cocktail ordered was delicious. We also got the Comte Plate (obvi needed if drinking these cocktails). Most places I get wine cause I’m not sure if people can mix or not. Here- skip the wine- the cocktails are creative and tasty. The vibe was perfect for meeting a group of friends to hang out. The service was also great. The bartenders are very attentive. Really great experience.

Balderdash is a great cocktail bar serving delicious and creative drinks. We especially enjoyed the ones called Zombies, which came with fire and added a fun twist to the experience. A great place for unique cocktails and a lively atmosphere.

I have had a very memorable night in Copenhagen! As we walked in, we greeted with super lovely staffs very friendly, laid back with good humor and easy to talk to. When you have questions about cocktails, they have answer for you. Very interesting taste of cocktails and atmosphere also really nice. The bar is not very big but super cozy inside. But I'll give hospitality 100/10 will definitely be back and bring loads of friends 😆 Recommended!!!

I loved this place so much, I went twice in just a few days. Their menu allows you to experiment with taste, sight and smell while enjoying a beverage of your choice. I loved trying the Duck Carnitas Old Fashioned and the Tiki drink (I forgot the name). My friend had a great truffle flavored milkshake that she loved and my other friend enjoyed the Mushroom Alexander. The staff is absolutely wonderful and accommodates our group both nights without a reservation. I can’t wait to return next time I’m in Copenhagen.

Loved this place so much had to go back a second time. Great Speakeasy with incredible drink menu, frozen Espresso Martini was delish! Robin is an awesome bartender and the entire staff made me feel like Norm in Cheers when I returned!!!

An amazing cocktail bar in the heart of Copenhagen. We were just walking by and something about the outside of the bar caught my eye. They weren’t even open yet, and the owner beckoned us inside and let us sit at the bar with some complimentary champagne while we waited for them to finish setting up for opening. Then they proceeded to entertain us for several hours with amazingly creative and delicious cocktails as well as conversation. Iskren and Hugo were both super friendly and entertaining as they prepared cocktails with energy and passion. Energy. Passion. Great. But how were the drinks? They have two menus: a classics menu of their staple cocktail favorites and a seasonal menu of rotating cocktails. First, I had the green apple and wasabi milk punch, which was fresh and sweet with balancing tartness from green apple. Then the duck fat old fashioned was as good as it sounds. Finally, I had their staple Mushroom Alexander, which is gin, chocolate, 3 kinds of mushrooms, coconut cream and deer heart. This was easily in the running for the best cocktail I’ve ever had in my life! Such a cool experience and cool bar with amazing people and vibes. If you’re in Copenhagen, plan to stop by here on the first day for some drinks because you’ll likely want to go back multiple nights while you’re here.

The DR Concert Hall is absolutely stunning, both architecturally and acoustically. I recently attended the John Williams concert, and it was a truly beautiful and memorable experience. The DR Symphony Orchestra performed the iconic music with such depth and emotion, and the setting made it all the more magical. It was a fantastic opportunity to witness just how moving and powerful live orchestral music can be.

DR Koncerthuset is an impressive venue with stunning architecture – modern, elegant, and truly eye-catching both inside and out. The concert hall itself has excellent acoustics, with sound that feels rich and balanced from every angle. Seating is comfortable, and the layout ensures great views of the stage wherever you sit. On the practical side, there are some drawbacks. The toilet facilities are limited and not ideal for the size of the audience, which leads to long waiting times during intermissions. That part could definitely be improved. On the positive side, the bar offers a broad selection of drinks, and the overall atmosphere of the venue makes it a very special place to experience live music. In short, DR Koncerthuset delivers superb concerts in a beautiful setting – but be prepared for queues at the facilities.

Matteo Bocelli's concert at Koncerthuset in Copenhagen - his first performance in Denmark - and it was truly unforgettable. The hall itself is a masterpiece of modern design by Jean Nouvel, with world-class acoustics by Yasuhisa Toyota. The interior, shaped like a "vineyard," surrounds the stage in warm birch wood and delivers crystal-clear sound from every seat. At night, the blue glass façade of DR Byen glows beautifully, making th experience feel even more special. Matteo's performance was emotional, elegant, and sincere. His voice filled the space perfectly - every note sounded alive. The organization was excellent, seating was comfortable, and the audience was warm and attentive. A perfect combination of art, architecture, and music. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Copenhagen

Beautiful concwrt hall. Had a fun night, agents only live twice. Was surprised that one can take drinks inside. Badly organised toilet Q, and even worse was the exit. Beat to wait 15min while all Queue out, while pushing each others. And then walm out yourself. Ticket booking and general information not available in English, so use google translation. Not foreign friendly place. Except when they need professional singers.

Amazing local bar with great cocktails and superb ambience

First and foremost, this must be the bar with the the best customer service anywhere, definitely anywhere in Copenhagen. The drinks are great; unique and tasty. The atmosphere is moody and classy, beautiful interior with some nice music to accompany your stay, while not being loud enough to drown out your conversation. And the prices are quite standard, nothing out of the ordinary for Copenhagen, while delivering well above par. Definitely recommend visiting, especially on the quieter days.

A fine experience, better than your regular place for fine drinks. Its a nice mix of a pub and a cocktail bar, so you can get whatever you are in the mood for on the day 🍻 They make a lot of different cocktails, but most of them were honestly just a lot of foam with a slight hint of something and otherwise the same generic alcoholic taste. The drinks werent bad, but nothing special🧉🍸 They werent that pricy though, so thats nice, also they have happy hour every day for 1 hour, and loads of seats outside, though the bar is located in the shadow all 24 hours of the day 😬

A must-visit place for any live music lover! Through incredible fortune, we attended a concert right after their PA system was upgraded. Lucky for us, as sitting all the way to the right of the band still gave us great audio quality. This small bar was packed but the band was fantastic the entire evening. We stayed for all three sets and enjoyed every minute. Even with a packed crowd, we didn't have to wait long for a drink. Service was fast and friendly. Don't think about it - just go. You'll have the time of your life.

Remarkable lil jazz bar - tucked away on some random backstreets it's the perfect place to finish you night - they have live music on specific nights with rotating players and singers. It's an iconic visit.

What could be a great jazz bar (had great music), however the venue allowed guests WELL past the bars capacity, to the point where no one could move and the door to entrance/exit was entirely blocked. The entrance staff knew the door could not even open, yet were taking money and allowing more people in. Standing capacity was beyond shoulder to shoulder. It became so uncomfortable that we exited not long after (not an easy task). The staff hurriedly pushed us out onto the street without even so much as allowing us to put on our coats in the outdoor hallway. Entirely rude, unsafe, and not great management.

The concert was fantastic, and the atmosphere was good. We were fortunate to snag good seats by arriving early, but others weren't as lucky and had to stand during the songs. It seemed uncomfortable for them, especially being in between those seated and the musicians. It appeared that the staff controlled the number of people allowed in, as there were empty seats scattered around. However, some attendees occupied multiple seats, preventing others from sitting. The staff should ensure fair seating arrangements to accommodate everyone.

Really friendly service! There’s a cover charge of 50dkk each person to enter. There’s live blues band playing with a smoking room near the entrance so it’s ideal for smokers and non smokers to hang out without having to deal with constantly being covered by cigarette smoke. Crowd is a mix of young and older. Musicians who perform there are so very talented. Bartenders were super friendly as well! I’ll strongly recommend anyone who’s out for a good time of blues music to come!

Really good venue! There was a cover charge of 30DKK each person for Thursday Blues Jam. There is a well ventilated smoking room at the back, near the entrance - didn’t really notice any smoke which was awesome.

I was lucky to stay in Copenhagen just for few days and I had a pleasure to witness a stunning blues concert of Joachim Svensmark Trio. I got completely hooked on the atmosphere, and I recommend this cosy yet cosmopolitan place for all music lovers. Quite a thing to experience!

Brønnum consistently serves up delicious cocktails in a stylish setting. This time I tried the yuzu-based cocktail called Shibuya and it was absolutely fantastic. I could easily drink those all night. We sat outside to enjoy the warm weather, but the interior is also lovely and cosy during winter.

I always come here with my friends and colleagues after work. All the guys are very friendly and on the weekends they have a DJ, which is cool to have some good music playing! Keeps the atmosphere fresh. I love that they are doing some good classic cocktails. For sure you should try their spicy margarita!

Had a lovely summer brunch at Brønnum Bar in Copenhagen — such a stylish and aesthetic spot. The location is great, right near Kongens Nytorv, with a charming atmosphere both inside and out. Perfect place to sit back and enjoy a slow afternoon. The vibes were relaxed yet refined, and the wine selection was surprisingly good for a brunch setting. A great mix of ambiance, quality, and location. Definitely recommend if you’re in central CPH and want somewhere a little special for brunch or drinks.

A nice venue that has been around forever. Has lot of interesting new music, is good to book up and coming bands as well as more established acts. For example, I have attended shows with Interpol and Smashing Pumpkins at this venue. So Early movers. Due to the shape of the room, be in good time if you want to be able to see something on the stage, if it's a packed show. Bar is fine and has adequate assortment. Shows starts later than at other venues, due to a restaurant just below the venue. Don't expect music to start before 10pm

We went to a fantastic reggae concert in Loppen. But the place was dirty. The toilets had piss on the floor and on the toilet seats.

Went to a beautiful psychedelic flute electronic music show here and both my friend and I truly enjoyed it. The venue inside is small and intimate with a fantastic sound system.

Loppen is a casual music venue located in the Christiana area of Copenhagen. Its a mid-sized space that hosts cool gigs. I went to a concert there while visiting Copenhagen, there was a cool and chill environment. Crowd was pretty civilized. The drinks were very affordable. The environment is a bit more low key and casual as is the entire Christiana area.

I love the vibe of this place and would definitely recommend people to visit Christiania when visiting Copenhagen. The colors, atmosphere and people are really amazing.

An excellent park although off to a skeptical start when I saw the first ride we went on had a member of staff on to "pull the brake". Lots of rides to suit all with a fair number of "tummy turners". Queues were small and the facilities such as food and toilets were at a good standard. We used the Copenhagen card to get in but you need to pay extra for the rides. Was quite cold when we were there so dress appropriately. The teenage kids enjoyed it so that's a thumbs up !

Absolutely fantastic at Christmas! So beautiful love the trees the rides and all the shops. It’s expensive to visit at £28 per person but you can go in the day and get a re entry stamp And come back in the evening to see it all lit up. Also I saw families who took a picnic with them. This is a great idea as it’s a beautiful place to have a picnic and a glass of wine in the gardens. The lake is stunning at night. It gets very busy.

Its ok. If you're into food? Then great there's a lot of restaurants. There's only one roller-coaster and a few other attractions. Its expensive especially since all we wanted to do was look at the Christmas decorations. It looks amazing at night all lit up but still not worth $30 dollars.

Visited mid November, weather was pleasant during the hours of 5pm-8pm Fair amount of people about but not crowded and easy to navigate. Christmas themed throughout giving it that magic touch for this time of season. Much like the rest of Copenhagen nothing is cheap and being at the theme park its most likely a little bit more

Tivoli Gardens was at the very top of my list when we visited Copenhagen; and it honestly exceeded every expectation. We visited in early September during the Flower Festival and the whole place felt absolutely beautiful with bursts of colour everywhere. Tivoli first opened in 1843 which is wild to think about, and you can really feel that old world charm as soon as you walk in. There’s a lovely little story that Walt Disney visited Tivoli and was so inspired by its atmosphere and attention to detail that it helped inspire Disneyland; when you’re inside, that makes complete sense. We ended up spending nearly the entire day here; wandering through the gardens, listening to jazz bands play, popping into the little Christmas shops (yes, even in September), admiring the flower competition winners and going on a few of the rides. At one point I turned to my husband and said, “I feel like a kid again.” There was something so nostalgic and joyful about it, like stepping back into the magic of childhood. There are plenty of places to eat inside Tivoli depending on what you feel like; everything from quick bites and coffee to full sit down restaurants and even the beautiful Nimb Hotel right in the middle of it all. The food court is great if you want something casual and fast before exploring more. I also loved how different the park feels as the day turns into evening; during the day it’s lush and garden like, and then at night all the twinkle lights come on and it feels dreamy and romantic. Tivoli is open in different seasons throughout the year including Halloween and Christmas; I heard that November and December are extra special because Tivoli transforms into a Christmas wonderland with decorations, lights, markets and a completely different festive atmosphere. I would honestly love to go back in December just to experience that version of the park. Opening hours change depending on the season but it stays open late enough that you don’t need to rush. My biggest tip is to give yourself enough time. This isn’t the kind of place you speed through; it’s somewhere you stroll, snack, listen to music, ride the rides and just enjoy being there. Tivoli was one of the most memorable experiences of our Copenhagen trip; if you’re visiting the city, this is a must. It’s truly one of those rare places that makes you feel happy, light and a little bit enchanted.

Excellent theme park. We visited as decorated and themed for Christmas Was surprisingly a lot better than anticipated. Prices for ultimate tickets purchased on Get your Guide . Around £45 each . Great value. Lots to see and do. Food prices are similar to those around the city

This is one of the oldest amusement park in the world but it is well maintained. All the decoration and pop up events are to the point. Well decorated for the Halloween 🎃! ++ point: the food at the foodcourt is very tasty and wide range of selection.

It's really large, well located and ideal for creating a good vibe. We went for a stand up comedy show and a downside was that the seats are not comfortable for a long show where you need to stay seated.

The arena is excellent. Near public transport and various parking lots. The acoustic is fantastic. We needed help finding our gate and the personnel walked us to it and even aided us to scan our tickets at the entrance. I highly recommend the Royal Arena.

What an amazing venue! My first concert at Royal Arena was truly amazing. I am in awe at how well organized the venue is. I had a great experience and although I was skeptical before having heard the sound was bad and it was too big, I think it was an awesome experience and I will definitely return.

Went to see Tate McRae on the 30th of May and I’m still mesmerised… The arena itself was pretty organised, ticket control etc went so fast The bar or whatever you call it is a little bit expensive but probably for Danes it’s normal prices so yeah

The sound quality wasn't really great, and the info beforehand (from ticketmaster) was very vague regarding which entrance to use and availability of food/drinks inside (there's plenty of drinks and quite a few snack options available in multiple outlets). Also, the toilets stank already when almost no visitors had arrived yet. Other than that it's quite nice, good layout and easy to get around both inside and when arriving or leaving.

Easy to get to by public transport, well organised, but 1. the concert was extremely loud. We love loud music, especially rock, but if we didn't have earplugs, it would have destroyed our eardrums. 2. You need an App to use the lockers, it took quite long to activate it.

Very friendly bar that almost has a UK&I vibe with traditional pints on offer, including Guinness. We decided to pop into this bar to take shelter from the rain and ended up staying for two rounds. The staff and clientele were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. A great bar in a great city.

We walked up to the bar and calmly waited to be served but both bartenders blatantly ignored us for 5 minutes while the pub was fairly empty. After 5 minute wait I asked one of the bartenders whether they show premier league games to which he responded “I can’t hear you, I am busy working”. Worst place and service in Copenhagen, joke of an establishment. P.S. just read owners replies to customers reviews and it will say all you need to know - the owner and establishment has no class whatsoever. Bartender lied that I was rude when literally the only thing I said is “hey mate, do you show premier league here?” & “have a good day” after his rude response. The other bartender was literally talking to friends instead of serving customers. Can’t believe this is the reply that owner left. Shame.

Great place to get some amazing jazz music! It is a small venue where the artists perform on the top floor. Nevertheless alot if fun.

Like the atmosphere and music, but service wasn’t great sitting at a table for at least an hour when a bartender comes over to tell us to move since someone else had booked this table, with no notice on the table of any bookings the way we were treated wasn’t great and no effort was made to move us to another table or apology. It was clearly a mess up on the tables on their part but no effort made to sort the situation.

Such a nice place! I love how the style is very thorough and all of the little nooks and crannies makes it feel very private when sitting at a table. There are 3 bars so you never have to wait too long to get a drink. The drinks are all very unique and the two I tried were very fresh and good. Overall I'd definitely recommend going there for a night out.

One of the best bars in Copenhagen. Must attend. Very friendly door staff, and great decor and atmosphere. Bar staff are great and clientele even better. Copenhagen girls are dressed to impress so if you are too you are sure to have a great time. Definitely return on my next trip.

Way too crowded, can barely move. The people (customers) are rude, arrogant and pushing each other. Most of the reviews praise the music but in my opinion it's just vapid, can't even remember it. The cocktails (the reason why we ever entered the bar) were perfectly made and relatively large. The bartenders, however, were unfriendly and just trying to deal with every customer as fast as possible, probably due to the crowdedness of the place. I'd recommend to go there to have a cocktail when it's less busy and then continue to some other more cozy place.

One of my favorite places to go dance to. As you enter the bar you will be welcomed by this classy interior design, kind of like the "Mad man", but then you go further down to the basement through this corridor, where they have the dance floor and people are just going crazy on dancing. There is always a DJ in here, and from my experience very good ones.

The music is okay. House and early twenties pop, and hiphop. Be careful with how much they charge you. Many times i ordered 2 beers which supposed to be 100kr. One time i got charged for 175kr for 2 beers and water. One of the colleagues work there intentionally overcharged me.

We were here for the Perreo Social Club held on May 31st. I am giving three stars because at the dancefloor, the air circulation is quite poor. The restrooms are clean and the drinks are affordable. If you come with a group of friends consider staying a bit far from the scenario, the ventilation is better there. 😊

We had a wonderful time in RUST! Went for a house night, where Catching Flies was the headlining DJ. Although his set was a bit on a slower/milder side, we (and the crowd especially I think) enjoyed it. But the supporting act after him was phenomenal - thank you girls! l A bit of a letdown for tourists from central Europe are the drinks prices, but I guess that's just Copenhagen normal haha. Also, the main room is not ventilated that well, so it gets really hot and sweaty - something to improve there. I'm still giving full score, as I enjoyed myself. Cheers!

I like small venues which brings togetherness feeling. I liked that part and the sound system was also good. But it was overcrowded and ventilation system was terrible. At one point I was about to leave the concert. I would recommend going a bit early and watching the concert from the balcony without getting distracted by the passersbys

Really nice venue. Small and cosy, beautiful interior. Nice staff. Went here for a concert of 'Dekker' and even though the artist didn't quite like the acoustic up on stage, it was well balanced for the listeners.

Really nice place, I only went in for a drink and to be able to sit outside for my Poulette burger. I had an elderflower kombucha, and it really hit the spot. The real win for this place is the toilet though, one of the best toilets I've been to, the decoration is just superb, has to be seen to be believed.

Food: The ricotta & anchovy plate was really good and very unique. The only issue is that the plate for whatever reason did not come with bread so you would have to spend another 50dk just for the bread. So, a total of 125 dk for a small plate. Wine: I really enjoyed the wine but I’m generally interested in not just traditional wine but also natural wine but if that’s not your thing, then you should skip this place. I do think for 75dk, the pours are SMALL. It’s not served in wine glasses but rather desert wine glasses? To be honest, I’ve never had normal wine served in these tiny glasses… shrinkflation? Service: I do agree with others that considering this is a wine bar, there is little to no information about the wine… it seems more like the type of place for tourists that just want to go somewhere trendy to drink any kind of wine. No information written or verbally shared about the wine. The only description is “bubbles, white, red, orange, rose”. I’d say a little ridiculous given the fact that this is a wine bar. There are so many “reds” and “whites”… also, the person working the shift was a bit unfriendly... not rude, just not welcoming. He made no effort to explain anything at all. I enjoyed it but I don’t think I’d come back.

One of my favourites in Copenhagen! An intimate experience. They served 3 types of wine, they also had tapas. Just the vibe I needed.

First things first, the ricotta cheese with anchovies was such an interesting and surprisingly good dish to go with our wines choices. Ossau Iraty was dry-creamish that made our expectations as from the cheese family. Pompette is friendly, is easy going and is warm enough to gather with your partner/friends/family. My partner and I got to taste few wines that brought new knowledge in terms of natural wines, and liked the overall drinking experience. Pompette offers bottle opening service and if not, organic wines by glasses. The vibe is really appealing as you may see customers willing to sit outside (1 degree) and smoke and probably talk about life :)

The most soulfull and knowledgable wine shop in Copenhagen. They are the guys that supply other wine shops so here you will find a better selection and prices. But its a wholesale business so things are not presented that nicely so you will have to know what you are looking for and trust the staff. Nice setting under the old bridge, you can also get glasses and enjoy your bottle looking over the harbor and this is at wholesale prices!

It’s a bar that can serve as a concert venue. Small stage, but plenty of space for the audience and dance floor. You can’t get any closer than this to the band however, since the height of the stage is so low if you’re short you might want to stay at the front 😅

Very small venue that has you close to the stage, which is just slightly higher than the floor. Makes for a great gig ,close to the artist, good selection of beer and other drinks. Limited seating . I would definitely recommend seeing a gig here.

We booked the guided tour of the Opera House, and it was well worth it. Our guide was excellent — full of insightful commentary, tasteful humor, and fascinating royal anecdotes. As an architecture student, I found the visit particularly enriching — not only for its perspective on Danish architecture, but also for its glimpse into the unique spatial logic of opera houses. I would have loved to see the main hall from the stage perspective, but it was understandable — the scenography team was busy preparing for the next performance. A memorable and thoughtful tour overall.

Visited the Opera Park that has great plantings of trees bushes and plants for year round interest. Stone paths beckon side trips over knolls of green. The gorgeous marble opera house is the backdrop scenery. Knock on the Italian marble panels to hear the unique tone of each!

Architecturally stunning both inside and out, this place has several theatres in one. In fact the backstage is larger than the stage so it can provide space for several performances to occur simultaneously. We had seats near the back in the orchestra section for the ballet, The Great Gatsby. It was a fabulous performance with good acoustics. Pro tip: get there early enough for the behind the scenes tour.

We went there to see the premiere of West Side Story. It was a unique experience. The Opera house in Copenhagen is a modern building with high tech stage features and fantastic acoustics. The seating layout is such that everyone has a good view and can enjoy the performance. Outside the opera hall, the building is spacious with free vestibule, plenty of restrooms and seating space to have a drink before the performance or during the break. Good to know is that you can preorder drinks for your group to be ready by the break. These will be waiting for you with a little namecard when the first half of the performance is finished so you don’t have to queue up.

Stunning architecture beaten only by the performance of Tosca the staging was sublime. Recommend a visit.

Lovely modern opera house right on dockside in Copenhagen. Not a great deal else to see but canal and old warehouses very nice

Decent restaurant within Christiania selling mains and tapas. We tried their small dishes the Gambas was the best while not a big fan of their fish. You can choose to sit either indoor or outdoor. The toilets ain't that great though as they're shared with the bar. Service was decent.

Wow, what a gem. I'm reviewing the indoor restaurant, not the outdoor. They are combined, but very different. Inside is elegant and amazing food! Outside is airy, fun and lively, but bar food. August was an amazing host. Very good information from him. You feel like you are talking to a friend. The food, wine and beer inside are expanded from outside. The tartare was exceptional. It is in the top 5 for sure and possibly my top 3 I've had all over the world. What a surprise!

The space is ok. It lacks indoor seatings, which sucks when it's rainy, cold, and windy (as most days in Copenhagen are).

We were here a group of four, and the woman in the first room to the left (from the street) from 20-24 pm, were rude as hell, dishonest and sassy. I had never been here before, and were met with disrepect from this woman, who look VERY not motivated, made me and my friend wait way too long to order, while she was doing something else. Would fire her, made the experience of the cafe that much more unenjoyable

Cozy bar and waiting room. The cinema room in tiny but lovely. Butts can hurt after a long movie and not really nice for tall people as there is no leg space, but then there are some other comfy armchairs on the side that you can also sit on during he screening :) I like the atmosphere and will definitely go again.

Cute cafe with a movie theater that shows 33mm film. It will be closing soon for renovation, so definitely recommend checking it out before it’s gone.

Good venue, love the closeness to the stage, makes it very intimate. Very nice staff and great location. It’s a bit weird that when doors open, you’re allowed to get in, but not totally to the stage area, you have to wait (some 30 min) on a staircase for the security to release the rope and then you run for your spot.

Absolutely worst experience I had in a queue ever. We got there 30 min before the doors opened, there was no organization whatsoever, people with and without tickets were mixed, people just pressed to the front, it was chaos. After 2h I was in the front, then it was “1 in 1 out”. People got out, no one got in. I waited 3:20h until we decided to leave. There was no communication, no organization, it was just chaos. I think they had no plan and completely underestimated the number of people who’d show up. There was no specific number of door-sale tickets either.

I had an extremely negative experience at this venue. The security staff were unprofessional and rude from the moment I arrived. Most disturbingly, I was subjected to physical violence by one of the guards without any provocation. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and made me feel unsafe and disrespected. I strongly advise others to think twice before visiting, especially if personal safety and respectful treatment are important to you.

Very impressive venue. Good sound and a bar that is reasonably priced for such a venue. I stopped by to see The Undertones and Hugh Cornwell and had a very enjoyable evening.

Very nice venue with a lot of metal concerts. Very close to the Copenhagen central train station. Simple but nice amenities. They have a decent beer selection as far as I understand (I don't drink alcohol myself). For non-alcoholic beverages I strongly recommend their ginger beer! Note that there is no food served. Not even simple snacks. There are some stalls outside the venue which look like they might be food stalls, but they haven't been open when I've been there. I guess they might be open in the summer? If they even are food stalls 🤷‍♂️

Had such a wonderful party at this little venue in Stockholm. The place is quite small but cozy. The quality of sound is great for enjoying music. There's a wardrobe and lockers you can rent.

Great venue in downtown CPH, near lots of food, bars, sights etc. Hold about 4-500 people in the lower (basement) level, with a bar and lounge, coat check etc on the street level where you enter. Sound and lights were great for the 2 shows we saw!

A hidden gem for live music in the heart of Copenhagen. We came for Kalaha—a Danish jam band with an incredible fusion of Turkish influences—and left absolutely buzzing. It was the perfect sendoff before our trip to Turkey, and a brilliant glimpse into Denmark’s eclectic music scene. The upstairs space felt calm, classy, and a little boujee, while the downstairs venue came alive with more energy than we saw from the Danes anywhere else during our stay. A total joy. Highly recommended for anyone looking to catch great live music in a uniquely atmospheric space.

This is an excelleret café/bar and live Music club. The Ground floor is a large and cosy bar while the music venue is placed in the basement. Still a nice, cosy, local and urban place to be. Now with bigger drinking options, however live music might not be present as it used to be. As a tourist in cph, I used to come here for a bier and live jazz each time visiting this city. I loved the wibe. Now it is a bit less attractive due to lack of live and spontaneous spirit, but the wibe is still there. At this place, youg ppl feels expirienced and smart while old ppl feels young again. This place definitely destroys any generation age gap.

Intimate bar in downtown Frederiksberg. Established in 1920 and has since then been a haven for quirky characters. Sunday’s jazz night, Wednesday’s sing-a-long night, and all the other nights are good too. The place is the essence of open-mindedness, meaning smokers and non-smokers are equally welcome and tolerates one another.

Such a shame that there is mostly smoke and no air flow because this is truly the loveliest time-machine of a bar. Romantic, hygge and filled with chansons, standards and sing a longs. But by the time you have the courage to sing, your lungs will have closed up and your clothes will turn ashen. Avoid until their policy changes, unless you can smoke it like a local! Cash only.

Literally full of smoke - it makes your lungs hurt - but a really cool, laid-back pub with interesting people to chat to. And open until 6am. A nice place to go when starting or ending the J-Day madness.

Andy's was once an iconic bar with lots of history and a mixed crowd of rowdy youngsters, artists, politicians, late night sailors and other distinguished guests. Not so much anymore, it has honestly lost a bit of its charm these past few years. Still, it's one of the few bars open until early morning and prices were decent last time I checked. There is a smoking cabin for those of us with that filthy, disgusting habbit.

My favourite bar in town ! It s open until 6am and there is always a good ambiance. The bartenders are super nice and always smiling and happy to talk with us :) The price are super reasonable (not crazy as it could be in other bars) . The San Francisco cocktail is a must try ^^ And for the gamblers you can play with a wheel fortune and see to win a snickers bar or a vodka shot haha

Its a late bar. It sells beer at a good price. The music choice is rock/alternative. The staff are friendly as are the people who are in enjoying a drink. Be warned, smoking is allowed.

Stayed in the Hotel on the other side of the road, wanted to have a last drink that evening in Copenhagen. The girl at the bar with plenty of metal in her face mentioned, that they only accept cash. Yes of course, only cash in Denmark, do you want to bullshit me? Maybe we have been too old or too good dressed.

One of the really great outdoor venues in Copenhagen and it's just in the middle of the City and close Hovedbanegården. Toilet are inside and up a set of stairs - not sure if they have more accessible to those not able to tale the stairs. Nice drinks, wine and a few yet nice craft beers along with the option of getting food. One of my go-to places during the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.

2 really good things to say about The Dubliner: Its a good spot to watch all kind of people walk by - and they serve a Kilkenny Red Ale (If you haven’t tried it, do so - the smooth creamy foam is just SO delicious). But as it is located in one of the most expensive shopping areas in Copenhagen, the prices are accordingly. A pint of Kilkenny Red Ale will set you back 74,- DKK

Very nice experience! Our food came quickly and we enjoyed it. We got the chicken nuggets and the club sandwich with two beers. The music played was rock of the '80s, which added to the experience. We found a table outside because inside it can get boisterous when crowded. But the ambience is really enjoyable and at an affordable price!

What a fun Irish bar! Although the place was packed when our group got there at around 10 pm, the bartenders gave us attention as soon as they could. They were very nice. The drinks were good, we got vodka sodas and gin and tonics. We went on a Sunday night, and they had a live singer who sang a bunch of American classics, which was comforting, as this was our first week in a new country. The bar got less crowded within the hour and when we got too hot, we just went outside and hung out.

I wanted to enjoy a quiet dinner by myself, and perhaps because I made a reservation close to the restaurant’s closing time, I was able to dine peacefully and comfortably among just a few other guests. The waiter’s formal yet friendly service, along with their occasional questions and approachable attitude, made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Although the meat in the final course was a bit too salty for my taste, overall I really appreciated the refined dishes and the thoughtful wine pairing.

Overpriced small portions. What a joke!!! The smoked fried herring was dry and way too salty. The flat fish fillet consisted of two bites for $20 The Tartar gave me the runs, which can happen as indicated on the menu. The waitress was nice. 3 for lunch with a $150 price tag. Never again!

Small portions, high prices BUT delicious food, beautiful location, and good service. As long as you know what to expect you'll greatly enjoy your experience here. I'd recommend trying the sweetbreads which are generally hard to find at restaurants - delicious meaty flavour, shame there were only two!

Got recommended to go to this bar for the jamming session that was hosted by Tobias and his band and it was such a blast! My friend and I had such a great time and we would definitely want to come down again for some cold beers and music again!

WOW! An amazing atmosphere with live music, delicious cocktails, and fun people. I can’t rate the food because we only ordered beverages, but it looked great. The live music is definitely worth the 80 KR at the door. I love this place and would highly recommend.

It’s such a cool place! We came here on our anniversary for the Winter Jazz festival. They host the best live jazz music and amazing cocktails. One less star because the drinks are a bit more expensive than some of the other similar bars in the area. But this place has such an awesome vibe. Do checkout their live music schedule, games and all the fun stuff they do there.

Cozy venue, very suitable for intimate concerts especially. Bar operation and atmosphere can be disturbing if you're primaily there for the musical experience.

Amazing location, very easy to go walking to many touristic sites of the city. The room was spacious enough, with good toilet and shower. The hotel offers a pool, a gym, an spacious kitchen, a bar, and a big lounge area to hang out. I stayed here with a friend, and even though we booked separately, they put together in the same shared room. They included all 6 people in the room arriving and leaving at the same day, which made it very convenient for us to know each other and hang out together throughout our trip, which made it even greater. Continue arranging for people to stay together as much as possible like that! The stairs to go up to the top bunk beds is a bit tricky, with only a side bar to support, but it is possible to manage. Use of amenities like kitchen, gym and pool all require an extra payment. I think it makes sense, but still didn't like that as much.

We recently stayed in Steel House and it met our expectations in every way. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist whenever needed, creating warm atmosphere during our stay. The hostel is well-equipped with all essential facilities, including kitchen, which is very convenient for meal preparation. Our room was clean and mattresses were very comfortable. The hostel's location is very close to central station, making it easy to commute and explore Copenhagen. Considering the price they offer excellent accomodation. Highly recommended

Nice hostel with great backpackers atmosphere, lots of activities to offer, laundry room, kitchen, Arcade, etc. Rooms are small, we stayed at a double room and it was small (as almost every hostels) but it had its own bathroom with really good space. Something to improve was the quality of the bed. At the end of the day in terms of quality/price I think its a really good hostel.

Run down, and apparently on the verge of financial liquidation. The maintenance of everything related to the bathrooms is not acceptable. The drains are mostly clogged. And most of the toilet flush buttons - not only in the rooms but also in the public restrooms - don't work correctly. Either the button doesn't function at all or the water runs continuously. In the kitchen you'll find exactly three bowls suitable for breakfast or soup - for all the guests in the house who use the kitchen. Three bowls total. The photo was taken when there was nobody in the kitchen. Simply unbelievable. So, are guests supposed to eat their soup or porridge from a cup or a flat plate? Ancient chewing gum is stuck to the hallway floors. One really has to wonder whether this hostel will have to close within a few weeks because they're no longer investing money - either because they can't afford to or because they don't want to. It's utterly pathetic.

I stayed for 5 nights and therefore paid a one-time fee of DKK25 to get access to the kitchen. Kitchen is fine, about 8 induction spots and plenty of plates, bowls, cups, and pots/pans. Only problem is if people use it and take their time to wash up, the pans are dirty in the sink. My food got stolen on my last day as I had a late checkout, it was terrible. But at least the staff was nice enough to give me a sandwich. There are 3 fridges which could be abit squeezy for your food. Location is great, near Vestaport metro, but still far from popular attractions if you're fine with taking public transport everywhere. The bed is AWESOME, capsule style, you don't feel it if the person above you is moving around. Tiny walking space but that's expected. Thick blankets and ok pillow. Towels are provided, but although they said they'd change towels and linens on the 4th day, they didn't for me, so that was disappointing. I feedbacked to the front counter but only had 1 more night left so I didn't ask for a replacement. The toilet and shower are separate, with a sensor each that turns the light on everytime someone walks by, so it is distracting and noisy when people are showering. Also, the sensor is outside the showering area, so you have to wave your arm around every 2 mins WHILE SHOWERING, I hope they change that. If you do a late checkout (1pm), your access to the kitchen ends at 11am.

Great, we stayed in a room to ourselves with four bunks and a private bathroom. Bar with happy hours, kitchen facilities, swimming pool, games room and everything you could need. Well located for Copenhagen. Clean and comfortable with a cool vibe, recommended!

We’ve stayed at Steel House Copenhagen before, but this visit was deeply unsettling. The atmosphere was chaotic and unsafe from the moment we arrived. A man in the lobby was shouting threats and profanities at staff, with no security present. Our children were frightened, and staff looked terrified. Throughout our stay, people wandered freely in and out of the building, and the overall environment no longer resembled the well-run, welcoming place we had experienced previously. It felt disorganised and poorly supervised. Our room smelled strongly of urine, and although they didchange the sheets when we informed them, the smell remained. The shared kitchen was filthy. I contacted management with full details afterward and received no response whatsoever. This property has changed drastically — it now feels unsafe, neglected, and badly managed. I would strongly advise avoiding it.

It's a nice place that isn't too big. So a cozy feel. The beer and water was somewhat expensive, and the beer tasted strangely. Like it was stale and old. The security is quite nice, but they rarely do anything about troublemakers near the stage. I have enjoyed the concerts i have been to there so far.

The best thing is that they noticably adjust and correct the acoustics in the beginning of each act. Often the first song of any band sounds a bit off but then the rest are perfect. Fairly small venue, but I really like the balcony. Very good experience with concerts here. 4/5 only because getting in and out with the crowd is slow

One of my favorite music venues. I like the location, the history and the venue. I had met many of the staff and I feel safe when I am there. The toilets are clean, the place is great and the staff are helpful and create a safe atmosphere.

A wonderful historic place, with amazing events. There is a garderobe and a bar to get snacks and drinks. The inside aquarium is a huge attraction for children and seniors equally. When buying the tickets it's recommended to avoid the top balcony because few building polls are positioned straight in the middle and minimise the view. It will be nice if Tivoli administration will add a remark about this on their website to be known when people buy their tickets online.

I enjoy the venue more for the location and the excellent shows put in there, than for the facilities themselves. Positives: -The lobby is amazing, owing to the gigantic reef aquarium! You never get bored waiting before shows or during intermission. -Plentiful, clean bathrooms. Negatives: -Leg room on the balcony. Haven't experienced this problem so much when seated on the floor rows.

Beautifully decorated for Halloween. I see they put in a lot of effort for this. Really felt the Halloween vibes. However, it's too expensive. There is entrance fee close to 200dkk, and you need to buy the ride ticket to even ride. Sorry, for broke student like me, I don't have any cash reserves to spend here. But if you are wealthy, and have worked your life off to give your kids a good experience, sure.

Fantastic place. It was great they chose it for the conference I attended however, unfortunately the games were all on hold while Tivoli garden was under huge preparations for the Halloween. There are many restaurants and coffee shops inside yet most were closed during the time I visited. The lecture halls were very clean, convenient seats and its size was quite appropriate. Bathrooms were clean and good except for insufficient tissues and trash cans. Tivli is in the city of Copenhagen and the whole place around it was full of shops, cafes and restaurents along with variety of available transportation services

Great place for entertainment. They show ballet (I saw The Snow Queen) classic music concerts and lots of other things. And the ticket to the show gives you entry into the beautiful park, which at night is usually decorated with beautiful lights.

We had a great experience at Kayak Bar today! We ordered chicken sticks and fries for our little one — they were perfectly crispy and delicious. The burger we had was absolutely spot-on, juicy and full of flavor, and it paired amazingly with the crispy fries. The drinks were refreshing, and the overall atmosphere at this location is just perfect. Big thanks to the team for the great food, drinks, and such a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy. We’ll definitely be back!

What stood out most was how knowledgeable they were—not just about the menu, but about the ingredients, pairings techniques. You can tell they’re passionate and really know their stuff. It’s rare to find such a great combination with great atmosphere of this in one place. Highly recommended—we'll definitely be back! Next time again with all our family. Honestly, the drinks are overly expensive compared to the rest of Copenhagen and other bars like it, and the food is worse in quality than most fast food places. You could go to McDonald’s and get a better burger and fries. Service can also be lacking. And I was forced to give 1 star, but Kayak only deserves it for the location.

La Banchina is one of the most unique spots in Copenhagen — the perfect mix of cozy and vibrant canal-side vibes. Sitting right by the water with a cold beer in hand feels like pure relaxation. The fish burger was excellent: fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly filling. If the weather is warm, you can even take a refreshing dive right into the canal, and for colder days, there’s a sauna that makes the experience extra special. The atmosphere is laid-back, with people lounging by the wooden docks, chatting, and enjoying the sun. Prices are fair for Copenhagen — a great balance between quality and setting. The only thing to keep in mind is the oysters: delicious but pricey, 220 DKK for 6 (about $31–32 USD). Still, the experience makes it worthwhile. Whether you’re looking to relax by the water, grab a tasty bite, or have a drink in a unique setting, La Banchina is absolutely worth a visit!

A really great spot. Went on two cold autumn days across my trip and had a dip and then enjoyed some tea and coffee. The vibes inside are super cozy in the colder months and the swimming area is nice and quiet, although I know in summer it is much more social and packed. A lovely place to reflect and slow down, the staff are very welcoming too.

Spectacular organic fish shack. Seasonal short menu but everything was a star. The fish burger was amazing with oyster mayonnaise and brioche. Also loved the smoked cauliflower. Great organic wines as well.

Really cool bar. We visited on a Saturday before dinner time and it was very cozy to be there, not crowded. We really enjoyed our time there having some drinks. The bartender even added some of the songs to the playlist we requested him.

Nice place to go for a beer or a whiskey, the music ranges from metal of all styles to grunge. You'll have everything you want here, if you fancy a song, the bartender will most likely queue it for you and you'll hear it pretty soon. Other than that, the place just made changes inside and looks more nice than before: put in some couches and low-tables that you can sit more comfortably.

Zeppelin's a great little bar which often hosts live shows from local, upcoming bands. They play rock and hard rock, metal to a lesser degree. Beers are fairly priced, with a two-for-one happy hour system. I like the decor also: cozy and rock inspired but not over the top. The only drawback is its size vs popularity: one struggles to find a seat sometimes.
