Small rock/punk bar with live venue downstairs. Not very busy the night we went but there are plenty locals were friendly and we enjoyed the bands. If you enjoy this place do go and check out the punk museum, it was the guy there that recommended this place to us.

Place where with rude staff, they force you to pay for narikka even if you have no coat and payed an 25 euro entrance ticket, and then they want you to pay extra when you want to go to smoke, definitely should be illegal. Also went to pirpauke show, place got full and you won't be able to see anything, avoid this bar

Nice rock bar. I visited this place on a Wednesday evening and it was not empty but also not too busy. The staff were friendly. Good prices as well. During the summer there are tables outside.

We went rather early so it was quite empty. Happy hour prices, 3.50 specials. Really nice environment, lots to look at. The bathroom grafiitti reminded me of metal bars back in the US. We didn't stay for the music downstairs, maybe next time.

If I had to compare this venue I'd it reminds me a lot of The Academy in Manchester . To me its the perfect venue size and the sound quality was epic.

Cool to finally visit the famous Tavastia club for a concert! I liked the quality of the sound as well as the size of the venue: not too small, not too massive. There's also a very cool Heartagram lamp on the ceiling 😎 Things I wasn't happy about: - the mandatory coat check for FOUR(!!) euro - the lack of airconditioning or at the very least ventilation - the location of the toilets: all the way back at the entrance, so quite impractical! In other venues they're much closer to the actual concert room

Good place for live music. Saw Jussy and the Boys here, they were quite good and it was nice to hear music outdoors. You can only order at the bar, no service at the tables. They have heaters and blankets to keep you warm. Didn’t eat here but the burgers looked good!

We had three course fine dine next to the band, I felt so good and it’s a must visit place. The service is top notch and loved the taste of the food

Good vibes. If you are into swing and old classic jazz, then this is a good place. There is also a little space for dancing (Charleston, ragtime, etc....). During the week there are also free entrance nights (Rock and roll or jazz/swing local performers). Drink prices are quite high (Carlsberg 0,4 = 7,5 €) but it's a common thing in Finland.

This is by far some of the nicest food i ever ate the ribs where lovely and tender just fall of the bone. Delicious burger and coleslaw so good would highly recommend this place. The staff where very friendly and location is excellent with great music and nice atmosphere . Well worth the money

We found out about this bar on the Internet and became interested in live music. We visited it on a Saturday evening in June. Most of the tables outside were occupied, but we found one near the grill. I do not advise you to do this because there was a rather strong smell of lighter fluid for about half an hour. Additionally, there was no live music, but the atmosphere was quite cheerful. The food and drinks are a bit more expensive than you might expect.

The vibe of the place was amazing and lived up to the expectation. First night we reached at 11 -no music (ends at 10) and no food served (kitchen closes at 1030). It's a walk from Bulevardi, closer to the parliament, take Lime :) We went back the next evening at 8 and the place was packed. It's free seating and because it's the summer - the entire setup is outside. The music was fine but the food not so much. Got the veggie burger, and it's the local version of beyond meat. Beers 60DK, awesome pricing for a live music vibe.

Wonderful place with good quality music selection and weekly jam sessions. Two floors, unfortunately only the first floor was open, where there's a small stage with a piano and guitar/bass amplifiers. You have microphones as well for singers. They give a free drink card for everyone that plays in the jam, as it should be. Maybe it's not the cheapest place for a beer in Helsinki but it's definitely worth it, good setting and good vibes also for non-musicians!

Saw the incredible Ankor and Conquer Divide here. Sold out so a great atmosphere. Lovely, beautifully presented bar in a great, clean central location. Very easy to get to. Clear view of the stage (although I am tall and stay at the back to avoid blocking shorter people). Stage could be higher to make it easier for everyone to see the whole band (couldn't see the drummer). No bad points. Confusion for me on entry as I came from England and all the extra fees are always charged at the point of booking, including the €3.50 (service fee?) that appeared on my Internet booking. Not a big deal as I now get its a custom in Finland, but just make it clearer, at the point of booking, this will need to be paid on entry to the club, to the few who visit from outside the country (my online invoice was in Finnish). A tiny inconvenience to what is generally a great venue. I would definitely see a show here again!

It was completely dead on a friday night I paid 14€ extra to go to the down stairs club at 2am and there was about 5 people i actually joked there was more toilets than people down there and its the only time i have never had to wait to use the girls toilet in a club the music was also to quite we even asked the dj to turn it up.

Ok, the live music stage is a dissapointment. Here is the deal, if I cannot decypher any word because sound quality is poor - that gets 2 stars. I went there for the band I knew, that was fun. But I coudn't enjoy two bands before it... I coudn't even undestand if they sing in English or Finnish.

Really nice concert venue, tho it tends to get a little bit too hot. But for some reason they are charging an extra 3,5€ at the door even though you have purchased the tickets in advance. I don't really care too much about the threefiddy but the infrastructure for paying the fee is ridiculously bad so there is usually a huge and slow queue for entering the venue. The rate people can enter is limited by a slow POS system and the single cashier punching in 3,5 thousands of times, it's just absurd. Why anyone would come up with this kind of ridiculous nickel and diming scheme is beyond me and I would generally not recommend this venue for any gigs due to this. Plz either improve your POS process or, like, include the threefiddy in the ticket price...

I want to do this review in two parts: the performance and the venue. I went to listen to "Swing Swing Swing!" by the Antti Sarpila Swingtet, a four piece (keyboard, drums, double bass and clarinet). The band were fine with the clarinetist and the double bassist doing most of the heavy lifting. The MC was also very good, and I appreciated his efforts in revving up the room, although to be honest, the audience didn’t need much encouragement. This was clearly a gathering of the faithful, and the dance floor was crowded. Now to the venue, and specifically the ticketing. The ticket cost for someone of my advanced years was advertised as 12€. Went to buy online, and was charged an extra 1.5€ “Tilausmaksu” or “Subscription fee”, whatever the hell that might be. And then to get the ticket, I needed to pay an additional €1 to request a pdf. What the actual…?! And finally when I arrived at the venue, I was asked for another €3.5 “admittance fee”. So, my 12€ ticket was actually €18. This is predatory pricing that is illegal in most countries with any shred of consumer protection, but clearly not the case here. (To add insult to injury, the EFTPOS machine at the venue was not working and so we waited 15 minutes for them to decide that it was okay to pay this in cash. What a mess). If you are going to sell a ticket, sell it at the full price at the outset. All these add ons mean you won’t see me darkening your doorstep again. 2 out of 2.5 stars awarded for the band, 0 out of 2.5 for the venue.

Went to see a friend's son's band, The Whistleblower, down in the second level. The band was amazing! Great hard rockin' rock 'n roll! Go see these guys WHEREVER they play!

Fantastic night club! This venue comprises several bars and dance floors set within historical interiors across two floors. There was a 15-minute wait in line before we entered, but otherwise, everything was great: the interior, vibe, and people were very nice

Pay 10 euro to wait on the long and slow "Vip" queue, then pay again up enter a mediocre, overcrowded club with basic alcohol choices and weird bar staff that literally do not talk, they nod. The guards were unpleasant and reminded me that we were in Eastern Europe. Such a strange experience. Bye and see you never. 🤗

Main dance floor is quite unique with all the pictures in the frames and high ceiling. Overall a nice place. Recommend! Music could be better ;)

If someone wants to lose self-respect for few hours then this is the best place. VIP queue can pay bribe to the unethical guard and pass the regular queue. They know it's insulting but still going on. We waited for 70 minutes. Music playlist is just a random one 2012-2013 era YouTube playlist. Even 13-year old kid can pay better music. Beer was warm, cocktails were full of crushed ice which makes instantly watery. Only good thing about them is the lady works in cloakroom. She does her job well.

Pretty cool place the line is always full to make the place look full which is understandable the security company wanna be cool but sometimes it's so long which is not fine. Place vibe is nice for a hangout and cheap drinks.

One of the few places open on a Thursday night until 4 am in central Helsinki. An old tradition worth checking at least once if you live in town. Mostly geared towards cishetero business casual types. Tries very hard to project an air of old money and exclusivity. Doesn't mind showing its decadence, or rather decay (worn out bathrooms, sticky floors, broken glasses everywhere on a busy night). Getting through the queue is easy, just make the bouncers think you're confident you'll get in and cause a lot of alcohol to be sold.

Kinda disappointed with the music system there. No bass and 1 room had 4 speakers and the other had only 1 what the hell is that I've got a better sound setup at home than this. The DJ was also off and the headcount was quite low too. Had high hopes but turned out to be a disappointment. You've to pay security + entrance which depends on the event normally 15-20 eur. The staff was nice they also have an outdoor terrace too.

Fraudulent advertisement. According to their website, there is 5€ tickets when coming before 10.30. However, when you get there on time there is such a long line that it is impossible to actually get those tickets. Seems to be just a trick to lure customers into their club at an early hour and charge the normal expensive entrance anyways. Would not recommend.

Same concepts as ääniwalli and stidiläs. Guud raundapauts for weekends. First go kaiku have fun, when its time to take hikings from kaiku go to stidilä after stidiläs i would recommend pataässä and from ther to ääniwalli. After that you go working on monday with smile on your face

Yo, it's gone bad. I bought my ticket way advance, and still had to compete with people who hadn't bought the ticket. I was in the line for 1h. Bar tenders have no glue what they are doing, but the sec people were nice and pro. I want that Kaiku will remain safe, but god it's awful present day

One thing was problematic in Kaiku. The stairs were terrible where you came in, I almost fell down because I cannot see the floor and stairs were very steep. Otherwise it was quite an experience.

Excellent place to watch intimate gigs. It’s quite a small place so make sure you reserve tickets early enough. Tables are also taken on first come, first serve basis.

Ate here while visiting Helsinki from the UK, and recommended by our hotel. Great places to eat prices are reasonable, especially for the portion sizes you get food is excellent and top quality three different dishes were had in the group and all enjoyed. A good selection of drinks also. I really liked that place and thought the food was excellent 👌 Good atmosphere a live band was warming up for late evening entertainment. Staff were friendly, and polite with great service. Would visit again, and would 100% recommend for anyone wanting a local dining experience and local food.

Dining between the locals We first passed the restaurant on our way to the hotel and loved the look of the business. So we booked a table and went, and I can tell you this is a must do if you’re in the area. The service was very friendly, the atmosphere was superb and the food was divine!!!

This restaurant is inside the Helsinki Congress hall and this interior of the building is extremely beautiful and impressive. Lovely bar area with a very reasonable drinks menu for Helsinki. The lunch buffet is beyond good value and of high quality and variety. Great salad selection, delicious tomato soup, very tasty beef casserole, potato and ratatouille. Lovely choc mousse etc, plus still or sparkling water and coffee etc! 100% recommend. Nice staff too.

So went out into Helsinki on a wet and rainy night. Wanted to get to a bierkeller style place. This did not disappoint. We arrived and a band were setting up ready to play. The place was full of music lovers. Had a couple of beers and the ribs, all of which were pleasant and tasty. The band played country covers and were really well mixed, could hear all the musicians and the singers. One of the best mixes I have heard of a 6 piece band I was impressed. The staff were attentive, felt like an authentic Finnish country and western experience. Good fun.

Good value here for lunch. Lunchtime buffet is 12€ which is good value. That includes lunch, tea or coffee and dessert. Very good value. You can order off the menu also if you want something specific. I ordered reindeer pizza. Nice establishment with a lot of history. Watch out for the pesky seagulls who have no fear….just need to shoo them away.

Good food and drink selection, friendly staff and a nice and homey atmosphere. Staying a little longer is encouraged, as there are also games to borrow and play. Multiple TVs allow for watching sports from any angle of the bar. Prices are fair for the city and are in line with food quality and portion size, which for the same dish can vary slightly (happy hours do not have an influence).

Great value, steak with fries for 13,5€ at lunch. Meat served a perfect medium-rare. Best fries I had outside of a Guide Michelin restaurant. Sweet beer selection, the Polish Hazy APA was amazing.

Cold drinks, great food, and friendly service — exactly what the doctor ordered! The fish ‘n’ chips were piping hot and the ribs were perfectly seasoned with a thick rub.

Lots of screens to be able to watch premier league football. Food was really nice too. Very close to the central station so easy to chill here then get a train to the airport.

We stopped by Molly Malone’s in the heart of Helsinki — and we were pleasantly surprised! The draught Guinness was just perfect, exactly as it should be. But the real highlight was the unexpected live Irish music. The atmosphere was warm and lively — truly Irish in spirit. A great spot to enjoy an evening with friends!

I came on an August Sunday for the Irish Folk Trad session, and the musicians were absolutely wonderful! Unfortunately, the bartender’s very unfriendly manner made it difficult to order a drink and still enjoy the atmosphere. To make matters worse, she insisted on keeping the doors wide open for hours, leaving me to sit in a chilly draft with my coat still on.

Had a Guinness here, no food, either period or this time of night. Not sure. They had a solo acoustic guitarist who was Great! They say Guinness is better on this side of the world. It may be true, it was pretty damn good

Probably the most authentic Irish Pub in Helsinki with live music. They also have a lovely terrace in the back. Too bad that at the time it was too cold to sit there (but that's finnish summer for you). Came here to have a pint of Guinness as a "dessert" and was surprised by the extremely nice bar maid asking me if "I wanted a picture on it". I said sure and ended up with a randomly selected picture of the Dalai Lama wearing a flower wreath on it. It was so much fun, me and my friend had to order a second round. That time it was a panda and a lighthouse. I know it is a gimic, but like my friend said she would have never ordered a Guinness in the first place if it wasn't for the picture, so great job getting people hooked on Guinness! Will definitely come back just to show my other friends!

Nice pub although the top floor was closed when we went. I used to live in Ireland for several years so I could say it is kind of authentic. Nice and quite for a chat with your friends. I am curious to see the top floor so i have to go back. The staff were friendly enough.

Ääniwalli is way better after it was renovated last year. Big enough bar, good audio system and more club feeling in general. Be sure to check out VUM on summer sundays.

The club is pretty good, with great sound, but what impressed me the most was the bathroom. Probably the best bathroom in any club in the world.

First time at this venue. Greaaaat atmosphere if you like techno. Loads of rooms and also outside space.

Beer selection was quite limited and drinks were expensive overall. Visibility to the stage was limited by pillars between stage and tables. Prepaid tickets did not include cloakroom fee. Only good for events where you spend most of the time on the dance floor.

Was there for live artist gig and new bigger event room worked very well for that, having still an intimate club gig feeling. Updated lights and sound system is great!

The place was pretty empty when we went there so the atmosphere was quiet. We had to order at the bar and the food came pretty quickly. My friend got the caesar salad and i got the kill bill wokit. The food itself was pretty good but my food tasted like there was absolutely no salt added to it. I had to add salt every 2 bites. But it could be just my taste 🤷‍♀️. Prices were good. The portions were huge for us (and i usually can eat a lot). Overall a nice experience.

Had a great experience at Cafe Bar 9 in Helsinki! I ordered the pasta pesto with fresh spinach, it was absolutely delicious. The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. A bit better air conditioning would make it even more comfortable, but overall it’s a lovely spot. Definitely recommended!

Super glad I found this place!! Tried the traditional salmon soup and it was SO YUM! The price is also so much lesser than a restaurant. Staff are very friendly and great atmosphere inside.

This places feels like a canteen, where people on a low budget would go to or students etc. The decor was uninspiring and sad. The one bar man was super busy but quite friendly, he needs more help with taking food/ drink orders and serving drinks. Food service was slow but I’ll try and be positive, that this was because everything was freshly made to order. They do a meal deal, didn’t try it myself. Salmon soup with bread was very good, but the lemon chicken pasta was terrible. Prices were too high when considering the surroundings and food quality

Such good food in Helsinki. Definitely a local gem! We ate there pretty late 9:30pm~ summer sun had messed up our hunger/timing. Salmon soup and salmon pasta were divine. Service was great. Art was cool. Loved it!

Second time visiting and limoncello pasta is maybe one of the best dishes I have eaten. The staff is great and friendly. Only problem with this place (property) is, that when the restaurant is crowded, the noise level goes way too high. Both of the times I visited it felt like my eardrums were going to explode.

A nice, small, and casual restaurant specializing in pasta and noodles. I went there to try the Pollo Limonello pasta — it was delicious with a creamy, tangy flavor, but a bit on the heavier side. The portion was generous, and I couldn’t quite finish it, but I really enjoyed the taste!

This restaurant is one of the legendary ones where to visit and have dinner. Their pizza are so filled with toppings and flavours. Customer service is top! Really friendly and professional service.

I came here with colleagues from work on a Thursday evening. What a fantastic ambience! I’m personally a huge fan of jazz, so I really enjoyed seeing a jazz band playing at the bar section of this place. I ordered the pan fried fish plate, and I got served this beautiful salmon dish, with season vegetables, crispy potatoes and a delicious saffron cream sauce! I highly recommend getting it. Also, a special thank you for the wonderful service that night, the staff took care of a big table with absolutely no issues encountered. I would love to come back again, kiitos paljon!

My friend and I had the Chef’s Menu with some cocktails and everything was sooo good. Somewhat pricey but totally worth it. The staff was also super nice. Lovely place (location wise as well) and the vibe was cool. I highly recommend!

Nice restaurant with great service! An oldish warm ambience halls with a nice bar area at the entrance. The pizza menu can be defined "out of this world" elaborated with a lot of fantasy 😅 We tried the simplest one which has more original pizzas taste, "Terra" and it was ok. It needs more mushrooms and the truffle oil didn't even taste. The reindeer stew was tasty yet the meat was dry and different from what a stew would be. The wine selection is very good but wished the wine was poured at the table to appreciate the bottle.🍷 The waiter was present and did a great job. 🆗👍

A traditional artist-favourite restaurant offering both Finnish specialities (fish dishes, sautéed reindeer, Skagen toast, wild mushrooms) and pizza and international classics. A special mention goes to the restaurant’s signature dish – escargots in a blue cheese sauce – which our whole family sampled enthusiastically, soaking up the delicious sauce with bread. The menu had something for everyone, the children’s meals were tasty, and the prices of the kids' menu were reasonable considering the portion sizes. We also enjoyed the atmosphere, which was pleasantly free of intrusive background music. For international guests, a dedicated Finnish Specialities section on the menu would be helpful. Desserts leaned toward alcohol-based options. We missed the classic Finnish dessert köyhät ritarit – French toast served with marmalade and whipped cream – which used to be one of the restaurant’s delicious highlights.

I had reindeer stew which is one of my favourites but not very common in southern Finland. Unfortunately, as last time, it was dry and tasteless. Due to the type of meat (low in fat), preparing it takes time. This tasted like just unfrozen and heated. My friend took Arctic char, which is a fish similarly not very common in the south. Unfortunately,it was oversalted and couldn't be finished. A real shame, good ingredients were wasted here. I hope Manala continues offering such dishes but with more attention to the preparation.

Very romantic place, fresh air, and people also walk with their dogs or ride a bicycle. You can also walk on the river because it is ice on. You can start from the Oodi library and continue your walking tour with The Opera Theatre.

Had a great party inside here, danced until late in this incredible architectural wonder and felt like 1000 bucks. Recommended for a private party

Spectacular building and extremely interesting exposition !

As a conference place, the Finlandia hall is just average. For evening parties it is pitiful. People with drink tickets have to stand in queues for 15-20 minutes. The staff is sooo slow wanting to greet everyone one by one, ask what they want, take empty glass, fill it etc. Truly feels like in the film zootopia. There would be lots of ways to make it faster and let the congress participants enjoy their drinks while checking out the posters.

Quite small and simple but good size stage and sounds. Blue lights are really bad, as you can see, it's hard to take pictures. So sound is nice, but visuals not so much.

The Tanzanian security guard is really nice and chill, but generally I wouldn't recommend visiting this place. One of very few bars in Finland that charges people for water. You can't even get tap water, they force you to buy bottles for 2,50€ which is normal in other countries but definitely not in Finland. Feels like the owners views this bar as a moneygrab and nothing else. Personally I prefer to spend my money elsewhere and not support greedy owners.

NO FREE TAP WATER!!! Even with a €3 entrance fee, I was disappointed to find that there was no free tap water available (is this even legal?). The security staff even recommended getting water from the bathroom, which was quite unappealing, but did the job. On a positive note, the security AND staff were very helpful and understanding. Unfortunately, this wasn’t enough to make up for the lack of basic amenities/human rights.

We wanted to play some pool and we agreed on low price cause the place was emtpy (3€hour) later on 1.5h later other bartender charged me for 21€. Service was awful and I wouldn’t recommend this place on anyone who’s looking for great night with friends.

It is an okay bar. It has two floors. The first floor is for drinks, play some board games or pool while the ground floor is for karaoke. At some point there in an small entrance fee but we didn't have to pay when we visited. I think the average age of customers was early twenties and can be loud especially when alcohol kicks in. I felt the prices are very good. Seven euros for gin and tonic seems pretty decent to me. The staff were friendly enough. Toilets were a bit messy though.

We were there friends group and ordered 3 rounds diferent type of cocktails, every time different tastes of same cocktail, they didn't use any brand of alcohol just serving from normal bottles which they refilling every day. I ordered 3 time "whiskey sour" and got it different taste and didn't see they make it by original whiskey brand bottle, staffs on the bar pro and good atmosphere, food was good but not fair price. More problem was about WC because just one available and couldn't handle so many people.

Nice bar to go to even during the weekend. We had nice drinks and enjoyed the night. There is a 3 euro addition fee I think. Overall nice place.

The venue might not be awesome and the beer might not be cold enough and even the prices might not be good, however, it’s about the stories and memories that we build from us, it’s about the quality of the enjoyment one gets. And while mascot might not be crazy wild, their karaoke song menu is insane, and sure as hell you’ll find that one silly song which you know all the lyrics to, regardless if your mother tongue is Finnish, Spanish or English. Not sure if there’s other languages. Probably yes but I don’t think so. Anyways, go to the bar, sing and embrace the embarrassment and enjoy. PS: avoid being recorded 😜

The place itself is mostly decent and I had fun at an event but the cloakroom is way too small. After arriving 5 minutes after the event started the cloakroom was allready full (because of the previous event). Having to carry coats and bags at a rave event kind of ruins the experience.

Horrible venue and customer experience. When we were sitting we all started coughing badly because they sprayed some gas on a customer sitting outside. We felt so bad afterwards we left right away. The beers are not filled properly. 1/3 if my cup was empty. The bartender doesn’t even know where the beer comes from and they all seem to have a bad attitude. They also charged us and extra 3 Eur per person to enter late. While other bars will welcome you openly in the late hours. I don’t understand the owners strategy. Count an extra 3 euros and know these people wont step a foot in their establishment again. Do not recommend this place in any shape or form. Run away.

As a tourist i found lepakkomies very warm if you are into good music you definitely have to go

After renovation this place is now really nice (earlier Lepis was about drunks and junkies). Reasonable beer price. Pool table is in suprisingly good condition. I use to play there after bar opening, since it's still quiet. Downstairs club is also cool (nice lighting) and gigs have cheap entrance fees as well. Also very nice staff!

A complete disappointment. The advertisement claimed a mix of international music yet only russian songs were played. both the entrance fee 20 euro and the jacket fee 4 euro is a joke. definitely not a place I would visit again

A bad experience. Went on a Taylor Swift night. Ofcourse paid entrance fee + €4 to keep your bag. The WC situation was pathetic and they have only kept two WC accessible for 50+ girls on a TS night. Was charged €4 for a glass of water (I am not even sure it is was the price, or was I cheated). Will never be back here again.

The place was very overpriced for the service they provided. They assumed that just because we were dancing, we must have been drunk, and even tried to charge us double, the atmosphere was boring, and everyone we met there said they regretted coming. Overall, not worth the money at all.

The music was great and the vibe was great as well. The security guard at the entrance was as rude as anyone can be, and they demand you to pay a 4€ fee to leave your jacket, even if you don't have a jacket to leave. When I asked why the answer was "everyone pays" in the most rude way possible. The information that you have to pay 4€ to get in isn't anywhere, you only know once you pass the first security guards to show your ticket.

Awful club. Entrance on a DEAD week night cost 20€ and drinks (0.3L beer) starting from 10€. Bad music, rude staff. I’ve been to multiple bars and nightclubs all over the world and this has got to be one of the worst experiences ever. AVOID AT ALL COST

They play shitty music. Song transition sucks. Club looks Nice but wont go again. Beverages like everywhere else. Something extra is just View from terrace.

Amazing night at Post Bar! I came by when some incredible Japanese and Korean DJs were playing — the vibe was just perfect. Loved the atmosphere, the space, and especially the bartender — super friendly. The crowd was great, the smoking area had its own charm, and overall I had such a good time. Thanks a lot, I’ll definitely be coming back!

Good bar/club with a small but comfortable dance floor. Inside and outside seating is cozy, although it can be quite loud inside with music and dancing going on. Music is diverse, so check the event before going.

Terrible service! Very passive agressive and they wanted me to pay 4€ for the cloakroom even though I was in the terrace in my jacket but they let my friends in for free. Make it make sense!

the drinks were pricey, but the staff was really nice. Especially the security staff are good people and very understing. Music and vibe was nice however the restrooms were like expected - not super nice. Still a good place to go

When looking for Techno scene in Helsinki this is a spot to watch, on Fridays and Saturdays they have a good chance of a neat DJ set, Thursday is more a drinks and chill day with happy hour. I went Thursday and Friday and very much liked the energy of both.

This place was interesting, felt a bit like Alice in Wonderland. The interior is beautiful, there’s even a karaoke room, and the drinks were mid (and very expensive). Unfortunately, the bartenders were a bit rude and I didn’t get my drink even though I had already paid. The music is super loud but the dancefloor was completely empty, so the atmosphere felt off. The dancers were cool addition, which you rarely see in Finnish bars, but I wasn’t sure if I had walked into a fancy strip club. The women’s bathroom didn’t have toilet seats, although overall the place was clean. The bouncers were nice, but the inside staff felt stiff and unfriendly. This place definitely has potential, but it needs some improvement in service and atmosphere.

I had a terrible experience with the service. The waitress asked if we wanted sparkling or still water, and we chose still, but she didn't bring any at all. We ended up waiting a long time for our food, and she messed up all the orders. On a positive note, the food was really good and tasty. Maybe the owners should consider hiring more staff.

Amazing place! A must visit if you want to enjoy the nightlife of Helsinki. Or a relaxing drink. Surpassed expectations!

Pretty place but that stops there. It was almost empty on a Saturday night, the atmosphere was absolutely boring. The service is bad, not welcoming and there is an entry fee of 5 euros. We left after a few minutes from boredom.

What an amazing place 😍 a hidden gem in Helsinki. Attended this venue for an after party was very pleased with the decor and ambiance. Was very lively and freindly. Had some great music and entertainment .

So far visited only at opening night, but boy has Helsinki been in such a deficit for a club like this! The venue is so elegant and exquisitely renovated; the location is unbelievable and the level of thought and devotion that has been poured into the club is astounding! I wish the team behind this venture all the luck and prosperity; our fare city deserves an elegant establishment like this one!

Quite boring inside, cubic shaped looking like an empty basement. Got in as a VIP for free, and still did not stay there more than 15 minutes, and even that time used was because the generally cheaper drinks. Recommending only if there's a good gig that night.

Large bar with nice outdoor floor. Tiny dance floor for a large bar means grinding is not optional for anyone daring to venture there. Very young crowd with NRJ radio hit soundtrack. Expensive entry, expensive drinks.

Considering that this is definitely a place for much younger than I'm I must say it's really expensive place compared to quality. Even though they've plenty of room and places to sit it's funny how small their dance floor is. If you're a latebird you'll pay for that. Regular drinks are half priced whole night for people who arrived early because you'll get a wristband that gives you this opportunity to get drinks with 3,5 Euros. The entrance was full of people when they were opening and this wristband method is the clear reason for that. I think 7 Euros from alcoholic beverages is a robbery especially if it's regular stuff that you can buy from store with 1 Euro. The clever wristband band method gives an advantage for people who arrived early simply because you can buy drinks for your friends or possible date too with this amazing offer. You're definitely going to be popular because everyone is going to see your wristband. So all in all this place isn't too bad but I think for regularbirds it's really expensive place to spend time but latebird tend to arrive later and they might be quite satured with liquid beverages already.

Long queue on weekend nights. The bar counter queue is long too and the drinks aren't on the cheap side. A big plus for the rooftop outdoor area - very nice on warm summer nights

Layout is okay, when both floors are in use, but prices were extra high even in organized events. Beer selection is poor and vines are waterry. Drinks and shots below their prizes. But one of my friends might be getting laid so not total miss.

It’s a sweet sauna with friendly staff. I don’t get though why every gay sauna needs to play loud Eurovision music, why can’t it be some sexy chill calma music… it’s a sauna after all. And also, they say they close at 22:00 but they start turning the lights on and cleaning already at 21:30 which is a pity.

I recommend this place. Both saunas are well heated and clean, and since this is Finland, löyly is allowed. The place is a little on the smaller side, especially compared to the old Vogue, and on a weekday it's not too busy. The darkroom area is surprisingly very pleasant. When I went there on a Sunday there were a lot of men of all ages and bodies, which is nice. The atmosphere is very relaxed and I didn't have any bad encounters. My main gripe was with the upstairs area, I understand this is a place of debauchery, but three TVs with movies playing from every side is a bit much! At that point I would much rather watch the news. However, I have to say I didn't feel welcomed on my second visit, the bartender reacted weirdly when I ordered a small beer (even though it's advertised on the blackboard) and then just sighed when I paid with cash and gave me the wrong change! This left a sour taste.

There aren’t many reviews about this sauna, so I thought I’d share my experience. It’s conveniently located, with a tram stop right outside the building’s entrance. Upon entering, you’re greeted by both the reception and a small bar area. To the left is the locker and changing room. On the same floor, you’ll find the common area and a dark zone with two private cabins. Just before the stairs leading to the basement, there are two more cabins and a toilet. Downstairs, you'll find the shower area, along with both a dry and a wet sauna. The place is not that big, but not too small. 24 euros is the entrance fee. A big glass of beer costs 9euros. Is it expensive? While it's the only venue of its kind in the region, it doesn’t quite compare to similar saunas in other parts of the world. Douche-ing is possible so it's a plus!

Once upon a time there was Sauna Vogue—she lived, she served, she steamed. Then she died a dramatic little death and rose again as Sauna Con Hombres, a tighter, leaner, dirtier phoenix with better lighting and a shorter walk to temptation. Picture it: two compact floors of Helsinki’s only gay sauna. Upstairs, you pretend you’re here for wellness; downstairs, you find out that wellness comes in… multiple forms. The sauna and steam room are less “relaxation spaces” and more like live theater—except the actors are stark naked, the plot has no script, and the climax tends to happen a lot faster than in Shakespeare. Mostly middle-aged locals who clearly know their way around the corridors in the dark, with the occasional younger lad wandering in like a curious Erasmus student who got lost between Tinder dates. Repeat customers dominate, which makes sense—once you’ve discovered your favorite playground, why look for a new swing set? Weekends are when things get hot—literally and figuratively. If you enjoy being the voyeur, grab a seat in the steam room and let Helsinki’s “boys gone wild” production unfold before your eyes. If you prefer to be… cast in a role, rest assured there’s always an audition happening somewhere in the fog. And unlike the cruel battlefield of gay dating apps, here the currency isn’t abs or jawlines, but simply showing up in a towel and saying yes to the ride. Because make no mistake: in a city where Grindr filters can slice you thinner than sashimi, Sauna Con Hombres is an equal-opportunity jungle gym. Average Joes, silver wolves, gym bunnies, and everything in between all get their turn on the monkey bars. No one leaves without at least one story worth whispering about later. Verdict: Sauna Con Hombres is not the biggest, nor the sleekest, but honey—it doesn’t need to be. Think of it as Helsinki’s secret furnace, where the outside world melts away, where winter nights become sweat-drenched adventures, and where you might just stagger out at dawn, towel clinging in all the wrong places, wondering if that was a sauna session… or an exorcism. 😉🔥
