Texas Steakout, located in Limerick City, offers a wide range of delicious dishes in a Wild West-themed atmosphere. Established in 1989 as the city's first steakhouse, it has expanded over the years to accommodate more guests and offer an extensive menu. My daughter and I enjoyed a delicious meal. We both had beef and chicken fajitas, one with chips and the other with mash and pepper sauce. We had deserts too, chocolate brownie and sticky toffee pudding. We both had a cappuccino, and my one was decaffeinated. The branding was excellent e.g. napkins, glasses, and the cappuccino even had an imprint of their bull logo. We really enjoyed our time here. The ladies and gentlemen who waited our table were professional and courteous. The food was 10/10. The bathrooms were immaculate. We will definitely be back.

It’s been quite awhile since I was in this restaurant we were seated straight away. We both loved the restaurant and how cozy and comfortable it was, we were served very quickly and the staff were friendly,
I ordered the filet steak and it was cooked perfectly, my wife had the burger and she loved it, we will have to come back again as there is a lot on their menu that I would like to try.
My only complaint was the onion rings I found the batter too heavy.
Overall, it was a very good experience and the meat was very good. Of course, we did select the fillet, so it should be good. Service was good and the steaks were expensive, however, not above any other restaurants in the area and everything else was reasonably priced and I found many things such as drinks and sides a lot cheaper. Only negative is that the Bourbon sauce was a little too sweet for my liking.
Food was amazing.. atmosphere was fab we loved the decor. Only negative we would have had was that as we were midway through eating starters staff leaned infront of us to lay cutlery for main course. Usually this is done when starters are cleared not as ur eating.
It was a great feel and the food was just like back home! Even the bourbon BBQ sauce for the bourbon burger. I got a 10oz ribeye medium and it was cooked perfectly to temp. I asked for a sear and they didn’t get that part thought. We also had the kids ribs. My 8yo was sad it only came with 2 ribs. We got the sampler as a meal plate and split it.
The only thing lacking was service. We are water drinkers and couldn’t get them to keep our water full. We had to ask several times for each refill. It didn’t make sense.
One of the waitresses was also snippy with me. Maybe it was just a long day but it was off putting. Service was a 3/5.

Such a nice place to have dinner at with variety of choices. The staff are brilliant, very friendly and welcoming.
Food was good but if you're from the South [US] don't expect it to actually be tex-mex/Texan. It wasn't bad but it just wasn't what I expected. Food wasn't spicy even the stuff listed as spicy, flavors a bit bland, but nothing bad. The guac was a dud. We were put in a nook and kinda forgotten about (relatively normal for Ireland servers). It was overall a good experience though. Our last stop before and am flight. Sept 17, 2024.
Had a lovely romantic meal here with my husband. I had a delicious veggie stir fry and was pleasantly surprised to see more than one option for vegan food at a steak house. I also joyously drunk a No Alcohol Frozen Margarita that just perfected the night.

Just out walking in downtown... turned a corner and walked into this lovely market. Nice stalls with local food and produce. Rosti and sausage rolls were great.

The musician was really talented, super nice atmosphere. We came for a nice breakfast and to hear some live music, which was recommended on the website of the city. But the offer of food was not what we expected, for sure some little stores but nothing to get fed up.
Lovely market for fruit, veg, bread and baked goods. Very heavy on the bread, coffee & pastries though. Was hoping for maybe more hot food options but was still very enjoyable in beautiful courtyard which is mostly covered. Also good for gifts like soaps, jams and honey. Worth a visit for sure!
Not much was doing at the Milk Market when we walked there on a rainy Friday noontime — though its website says that it opens at 11 A.M. on Friday. But we enjoyed strolling around, and had a very good cup of coffee and cinnamon roll at the Bread Shop, which is part of the market. The cinnamon roll was replete with cinnamon, as a good cinnamon roll should be, and the size was gargantuan. And as we sipped our coffee, a young woman with a group of friends sat down at the piano, and magic happened.
Visited on a Saturday morning. Great buzz of friendly chatter and bustle of buying and selling. Good prices, great smells ... and lots of small dogs on leads.
Super lovely, great people and community. Perfect place to buy quality food and support locals.
Had a great time at the Milk Market in Limerick. There’s such a great variety of stalls with amazing food, local produce, and lovely homemade products. Definitely a must-visit when you’re in Limerick!
A lovely family orientated place for the whole family. You can buy hand crafted gifts from local artists, yummy pancakes at another store and relax with a nice cup of coffee whilst doing the shopping. There's a few little shops there so something for everyone.

This is my favourite place for lunch. A warm and friendly atmosphere. The food is always good. If I need a quiet spot to get some work done, they will find me the best spot available. It's family friendly, business meeting friendly and a great place to meet friends for a catch-up. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Máire will always greet you with a big beautiful smile and is a great people person. She gives every customer that personal touch. I would highly recommend

Good atmosphere and food options. Went on a Sunday for brunch and had to wait almost 20 minutes for a table. Service was quick!
Food and coffee are good, service is non existent.
We were ignored by 4 different staff members while waiting to be seated, no acknowledgement that they even saw us, until I finally just asked if we could sit at a vacant table. We had to ask 4 times for water and when we finally got it and our food (which also took a long time) no one came back to us so we had to go to the front to pay.
The place itself is dark and stuffy.
I'd only recommend take out from this location.
Had the Irish breakfast which was superb. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Ten out of ten for this restaurant.
Our first meal off the plane Sept 2024 & my first Full Irish Breakfast! Very good coffee & our toddler had pancakes, fresh milk.
Overall a great experience, food was amazing! Service top class! Only drawback was the queue before we sat down, which was about 15minutes, but does give a good indication of what was to follow!
Would recommend and visit again!

Loved the place. The service was amazing. The bar staff were so helpful and kind.

What a shame and disappointment. Had not been for a year but previously has eaten at least 5 times the delicious Chicken Thai green curry. But today it was sloppy. Like an Irish version of Thai “carbonara”. Terrible. Even chips were undercooked. Such a shame. Original curry was so authentic. Today was a cream mush. Left June 25. Right pic May 24.

I have eaten here a few times during my visit to Limerick. The steak sandwich and brie salad were excellent! I also had the smaller Irish breakfast was very good and extremely filling. Stop in a enjoy the food and relaxed atmosphere.

I had such a great experience at this bar last night! The atmosphere was perfect, but what really made the night special was the bartender eadaoin . She was so friendly and attentive, always making sure everyone was taken care of. She really went above and beyond, and you could tell she genuinely cared about the customers. Definitely going back!
Rionagh was our server today for breakfast and the services was beyond our expectations. On top of that the food was amazing. I highly recommend the poached eggs with hollandaise sauce! If you are in Limerick City Center for sure stop by the Old Quarter… it doesn’t disappoint! Also remember to ask for Rionagh and her team for great service.
The pub atmosphere is super cozy and the decor is elegantly simple. Eadaain took great care of me and went so above to offer tips for where to have a good time in town. I felt super welcome & taken care of even as a total stranger on a moderately busy night :)

Absolutely fantastic experience at Hook & Ladder in Corbally, Limerick! My girlfriend and I decided to pop in for breakfast, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and seated right away. the service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
The decor of the venue is so tasteful. a perfect blend of modern and cozy, making it a lovely place to enjoy a relaxing breakfast. We were both immediately impressed with the atmosphere.
I ordered the Full Farmer's Breakfast, which was nothing short of amazing! A hearty, satisfying plate packed with delicious, fresh ingredients. My girlfriend opted for the Mini Farmer’s Breakfast, and she loved it just as much. The portions were just right and very reasonably priced considering the quality of the food.
And I have to mention the iced coffees. they were phenomenal! So refreshing and expertly made, they were the perfect complement to our meal.
All in all, we had an outstanding breakfast and will definitely be back. If you’re in the area, Hook & Ladder is a must visit. the service, food, and overall experience are second to none. 5 stars, without a doubt!

Eaten here a lot over the years. Standards have dropped. Had the Breakfast Burrito which is normally pretty good. 4 ingredients, eggs, sausage, bacon and black pudding. There was no black pudding in the burrito. When I mentioned it to the girl at the cash register she just nodded and had nothing to say. Service is dropping.
I love hook and ladder however, when I went in here with my partner, there seemed to be one experienced waitress and she was accompanied by 2 co workers on the floor. These people didn't seem to do much leaving this poor girl do 90% of the horse work. Leading to slow orders and slow service. I waited about 10mins to get a table (normal for hook and ladder) , 10minutes to get an order in.
I’ve been coming to this cafe since I moved close by during covid. And I’ve also worked in a good few cafes in my time.
I must say that the customers here can be so angry for some reason and the staff here take it all so gracefully that I’m really impressed.
This place is petite and cosy, there is not an abundance of seating but they’ve really improved things in the last few months especially to fix this.
The food is good, it’s priced just as every other cafe is priced since all sorts of supply issues started happening.
The staff can only do their best with what they have, just bear that in mind before going anywhere. They don’t have a huge establishment, it’s not fine dining, it’s a cute cosy cafe that talks walk-ins.
The only thing I might say is; when queuing for a table it’s really easy to get overlooked if there’s a crowd but I’ll always keep coming back for the friendly faces at the door and takeaway window.
I regularly get cappuccino here and always ask for an extra shot, not hot. Unfortunately, almost every time I receive a drink that’s either too hot, missing the extra shot, or just a regular cappuccino.
It’s disappointing, especially as I really enjoy the taste of the coffee and like the place overall. But having to repeat the same request over and over and still not getting it right makes the experience frustrating. I hope the staff can pay more attention to custom orders — it really makes a difference
Extremely disappointing. This was our first time trying Hook & ladder in Corbally, as we usually go to the Castletroy location and have never had any issues there. Unfortunately, this experience was the complete opposite. We waited 55 minutes for just two toasted sandwiches and soup, only to be told after 40 minutes that there wasn’t even enough soup for both meals. At no point were we informed about the wait time, and even though we were assured we were “next,” two other tables were served before us. We also noticed at least two other tables complaining about the delays. In the end, we walked out. Very poor service and such a letdown compared to Castletroy.
What made it worse is that there was no effort to make up for the poor service — even something as simple as offering to cover our coffees would have shown some consideration. Instead, we left frustrated and let down. We won’t be returning to this location, and will stick with Castletroy where the service is consistently reliable.
The food here is really good quality, but the coffee is terrible. The service can also be quite slow. It wouldn’t take a lot to fix this and make it a five star experience.
I ordered chicken curry. The Rice that was served with it was one congealed blob all stuck together. When I pushed my fork into it all of the rice came up in one lump . Disgusting ! I sent it back, I waited 45 minutes for them to replace it.
They brought it back. no better . The curry sauce was now all thick and parts around the plate was burned into it . I sent it back ! Just awful . My friend ordered a toasted cheese sandwich . One slice of cheese . On one slice of bread and one heel of bread. They served the toasted sandwich with 3 leaves of spinach and a teaspoon of coleslaw Pathetic!
The place is going downhill in my opinion . It use to have good food & atmosphere not anymore . Overpriced for the pitiful food they serve. This is my experience of eating there. My opinion of what was served to me. The place was practically empty ! Service is very bad . It badly needs a chef that knows how to cook .

This is a unique coffee shop with a very nice atmosphere. The staff are very accommodating and the menu is simple and to everyone's taste. We were a group of four with all different tastes, we enjoyed our food and coffee, we were comfortable (not feeling rushed) and all agreed it was worth returning to. Definitely recommend it 😊

€10 for this is laughable. One slice of ham and some pre packed cheap grated cheese. Not Italian in the slightest. Staff were dismissive and place felt a bit grimey.
When I went here the first time about 4 months ago the overall experience was pretty bad. Poor service and the food was very mediocre. I had a friend though that told me to give it another shot so on this visit I went in, and had a much better service. There was a gentleman there, very tall with glasses and I failed to catch his name who had an incredibly friendly disposition and served a great cup of coffee with a great cake recommendation, looking forward to trying again in the future
Great coffee place in central limerick.. my friend took me there few times and now it’s one of my favorites. They got some of the best brownies stuffed w/ nuts, yum.

I ate a pizza at this place and it was a great experience when I met a friend in Limerick. The space has a original decoration and the service was very good. It seems also a good place for a coffee with a Inviting atmosphere for that. Recommended.

Did not expect the size of the food here! They were HUGE! Great taste, great coffee, lovely seating looking outside, what more can we ask.
Staff are always very friendly here. Coffee is nice, they have a selection of roasts, which is cool. Food is nice too, maybe a tiny bit pricey but it's nice for a treat. It's unfortunate since a few places fall victim to this, but I think the overall experience is more suited for eating in. Looking forward to that day post lockdown. I feel like a 5 stars is due then and you'll get more value for money.
The iced Vietnamese coffee is great so is the french toast. Unfortunately the bacon in Irland is not our cup of tea. The same here. But the staff was nice and we had a lovely brunch.

Visited Esquires for late lunch after the Limerick Great Run. Unfortunately they were out of most of the dishes on the menu (probably because of the crowds).
We had to get the chicken chorizo sandwich. The sandwich was huge, so quantity was not an issue. The combination of chicken and cheese was also delicious. However the sandwich was a bit dry, too toasty. The chips we got as a side were also good. Didn't get any coffee.
The seating is good and comfortable. The staff is great.
Had heard really good reviews about this place (and food). Will visit again to try the other dishes.
May Bank Holiday Monday visit this morning. Greeted with the sight of freshly baked muffins just out of the oven. Couldn't resist. They were delicious and so worth it, we went for strawberry Nutella and Snickers, the hidden filling was a treat. Be warned, they are premium muffin prices however at €5. Excellent coffee, enjoyed generous large cups of skinny cappuccino and oat latte. Extra points for lovely latte art. Again be warned that these are also premium prices at €4+, plant milk is also 50c extra. Staff were friendly, service was prompt, it got busy while we were there but the atmosphere was really relaxed. Sat at comfy window seat. Can't wait to come back, probably early in the morning again for that fresh baking. 😍😋

Busy when we arrived but we were seen to within 5 mins. The staff were lovely and service was quick. We ordered the Falafel Wrap and Goats Cheese Bruschetta and both were delicious in their own right. We were pleasantly surprised and had a wonderful dining experience here. The coffee is top quality too. Would highly recommend.

Recently iv been there , i had a egg fried rice 3 in 1 , i had food poisoning, i couldn't stop vomiting all day had to go to hospital , to get something from a doctor, i will be going to a solicitor to report them. Simular situation happened to a friend of mine today.

Really good food. We ordered three different meatless dishes; fried rice, chow mein some other vegetable dish. They each had distinctive flavors. They were only doing take away, so I don't know about the atmosphere. The card machine was not working, so it was cash only.

We have tried many Asian foods in Limerick, and this place by far is the best place!!! Chicken kung po, house special fried rice and many other dishes are simply the best. Every time we order, the food is fresh and delicious. We recommend this place to anyone!

The Copia Green cafe is a beautiful and sustainable place where you can enjoy delicious food. The staff are kind and professional, and the food is fresh, seasonal and local. They are also committed to zero waste, which is very refreshing!
An exceptional surprise. Lots of adventurous vegetarian and vegan options, but also plenty of great more traditional options, and some delicious winners and beers to go with it. Absolutely not what you would expect from the location, but we'll definitely be back!

We had a beautiful and delicious breakfast. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options as well as meat eaters. Great coffee, too. The owner was gracious and service was attentive.
The matcha latte I had was very watery and low quality. I ordered the vegan porridge and found it to be very tasteless. It did have lots of nuts and seeds which is great and the baked banana was a great addition. I felt it needed honey and they only had syrup (a health food café that didn't stock honey!? Weird). With the syrup, the porridge was very tasty. Everything was very beautifully presented but I was disappointed in the taste for the price point.
Good service but poor vegan/vegetarian food. Actually quite ridiculous, the “ultimate vegan burger” was just a dry veggie patty between two buns. No sauces, no other vegetables.
Had to ask for ketchup but couldn’t finish the meal either way. Huge fries, dry on the inside, and AGAIN- no sauces to eat with :(

A piece of Italy in the center of Limerick!! The atmosphere, the food - Il Padrino pizza, spaghetti bolognese or cannelloni -, furniture and arts on the wall - remind me about the evenings on the Amalfi Coast. Pizza Napoli and spaghetti carbonara are so delicious as well. Add to your must go list!!
Really nice place, really nice food and really nice service. The waiter was checking if everything was ok and brought me parmesean cheese to add to my caneloni al forno. Delicius garlic bread as well. Super fast service and kind people. The only downside is that they are close for dinner time, cause i would have loved to go back for dinner.
Stopped by this afternoon and had a super tasty Sicilian pizza. The tap beer was also really crisp, and the staff were so friendly. Definitely worth a visit!

This charming café, run by the husband-and-wife duo David and Petra Hayes, boasts a bright and inviting atmosphere that makes it an ideal spot for both locals and travelers alike. With a focus on artisan specialty coffee sourced from ethical suppliers, each cup is crafted with care to ensure quality and sustainability shine through.
We stopped by on our way to Dublin, craving some good coffee and sweet treats for a quick breakfast. This place hit the spot perfectly! Very nice atmosphere, delicious and strong coffee and the pastries were absolutely mouthwatering. I would recommend the scone (crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside) and/or the super juicy lemon cake. We got both and were super happy with our choice. Many thanks Cafe Logr!

I stumbled upon this lovely cafe while driving through Ireland between destinations, and I’m so glad I did. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was truly a delight.
I ordered the Chorizo and Cannellini Bean Ragout served on sourdough toast with a perfectly soft-fried Croom egg, Manchego, and saffron aioli—a flavorful and satisfying dish. I paired it with a latte and a glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice, both of which were excellent.
We had a nice brunch at this cafe. We sat outside and ordered one of the specials consisting of tomatoes, feta on a sour dough which was delicious. We also got the chorizo and beans with an egg on top on a sour dough. We also got a scone with cream and jam which was decent.
Absolutely recommend for breakfast. The Turkish eggs and French toast were great. The decor is charming and the servers are so kind.
Staff were excellent, welcoming and friendly, the type of staff that make people want to come back.

I visited this café one Saturday morning when I was staying in Adare for a wedding so it was new to me. They were very strange about giving me a table and asked was I having food but I hadn't seen a menu yet so I said probably yes but could I see a menu to decide if I would have something small or a hot breakfast. They then told me to sit outside and I looked around at the empty tables inside and asked could I not sit down and again they asked what food I was having, still no menu provided at this stage. The whole encounter was odd which is a shame as the food was lovely and a friend joined me moments later and we had a lovely breakfast together.
On the expensive side .... Recently stopped in for breakfast with my mum and 2 kids, as there happened to be a parking space nearby. Had not been here in a while and food is always lovely, which it was on this occasion also, however the menu has slightly changed since i had last been and there were no real kids options on the menu other than the french toast. We did enjoy the food and I understand costs are increasing but €88 for breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids was very expensive. We had Turkish eggs, mushrooms on sourdough toast with bacon which was an additional charge of €5 and the kids had french toast. We had 3 coffees and 2 hot chocolate.
Lovely cafe but very expensive. Perhaps if I had been advised the french toast was big enough for kids to share I would have ordered just 1 but at €15 it felt very expensive.

We recently ordered from Nom! Treats for a class party at our school. The staff were very easy to deal with and ensured that our needs were catered for. Their experience in dealing with larger specialised orders was evident and the service was excellent. The pupils were so excited for the party to roll around and thoroughly enjoyed their selection of donuts! Thank you again for making their day so special, always delighted to support local businesses who care diligently for their customers!
I ordered some of the sauces online and it has been 16 days and running with no sign of the order being delivered soon. I emailed to let them know and got no reply. I would not recommend ordering anything online, not reliable one bit and the lack of communication is nothing but poor.
Popped into Noms recently—service was quite slow, so be prepared to wait a bit. I’d recommend paying by card, as you'll end up getting a lot of brown coins in your change back if you use cash 😏. (Well thats what happened us) That said, the donut I had was absolutely delicious—fresh, fluffy, and worth the visit for the treat alone.

We recently ordered 80 donuts as part of our Staff Appreciation Week and the service provided could not have been any better. We were given a wide selection of different flavours, all of which had our company logo on top. The donuts were delicious and were delivered first thing in the morning. I could not recommend Nom Treats enough and we look forward to ordering from them again in the future.
We decided during the course of our wedding planning that we wanted a bit of a unique treat for our guests at the arrival reception, and decided that donuts would be a great idea, being great lovers of them ourselves. After a bit of a struggle in finding suppliers of donut walls, we changed tactic and focused solely on the donuts themselves and as a result, contacted Nom!
Right from the very initial contact, Nom! were amazing - prompt to respond and just so helpful! They provided us with various options and plans, and were upfront about pricing from the start. We were thrilled. Ordering was simple and the team were even happy to deliver to our venue (who coincidentally had a wall!)
The donuts themselves were just delicious - baked to perfection and fully covered in icing. The team even incorporated our colours. We were just blown away. Every single guest was raving about them. 100% would recommend them for weddings and events - and will 100% be visiting in store as often as we can. Thanks in particular to Barry for all his help!!

I ordered a combination starter, house special fried rice and a side order of Schzeun sauce to takeaway, order was ready when I arrived, thought bit pricey at €30 but looked forward to it! The starter was huge and totally delicious! And here's where the good news ends! The house special fried rice looked lovely in the carton, the prawns, the chicken, the veg...put out onto the plate and realised it was in some sort of sauce, special fried rice to my mind is dry, but had a go! The most bland tasteless sauce that covered any taste from the beautifully cooked prawns! What a let down! As I said starter was lovely...but €30???? Never again!

When I arrived to collect she read it back again, a side of veg fried rice.
I was charged for a main course, she didn't want to give me a till receipt, she did and I then noticed why my bill was so much. She had charged for a main course, but told me it was a side.
It would have been fine a mix up it happens had she not made such a big deal about it eye rolling and sighing as she had to do a refund and change my order.
Not even an apology. As it was very clearly there mistake. Very bad customer service.
