Kokura Castle, a reconstructed 17th-century castle located in Kitakyushu, Japan, is a historical gem with its distinctive architectural features and rich cultural offerings. The castle's keep showcases the unique karazukuri style and the traditional nozura-zumi stone wall. Visitors can explore the eight separate gates and enjoy the beautiful gardens surrounding the castle. Inside, there are various exhibits including a folk museum and the Matsumoto Seicho museum.
Kokura Castle is a fantastic place to spend a few hours exploring history and nature. The castle features a wide range of interactive exhibits that bring the region’s past to life—making learning genuinely fun and engaging for all ages. The surrounding grounds are beautifully maintained, with lush greenery, peaceful walking paths, and a scenic moat that adds to the charm and atmosphere. Whether you're a history enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing and enriching outing, Kokura Castle is well worth the visit.
Darrell H — Google review
I first saw this place while out on my morning run (a short distance from Royal Rihga Hotel). It's in a beautiful urban area next to the river and is contrasted by modern architecture, shopping areas and restaurants. Inside the castle is educational, with many displays. There is a cafe on the top, 5th floor. The highlight for me in the castle were the massive tiger paintings.
Daniel D — Google review
Quite a small castle but fun to visit. Especially for kids. Some interaction games are good for learning which won’t make you bored. Excellent view of the Kokura city from the top floor. Well maintained and arranged inside out.
Huang S — Google review
Kokura Castle is a genuinely lovely stop in Kitakyushu, offering a great mix of historical charm and engaging modern exhibits. While the current main keep is a 1959 reconstruction (the original burned down), the builders did a beautiful job. The castle exterior, surrounded by the moat and the peaceful Katsuyama Park grounds, is very photogenic—especially during cherry blossom season! Inside the castle, you'll find a well-designed, interactive museum. Unlike some older castles, the displays here are fun, with hands-on elements that bring the Edo period and the castle's history (including its famous residents like Miyamoto Musashi) to life. It’s definitely engaging for both adults and kids. The view from the top floor provides a nice panorama of the city, showing the blend of history right next to the modern Riverwalk Kitakyushu complex. Pro-Tip: Make sure to grab the combo ticket that includes the main keep and the adjacent Kokura Castle Garden for a great value and a peaceful break. Overall, it's a very pleasant, worthwhile, and affordable way to spend a few hours in the city.
M D — Google review
So beautiful and the story of the castle and shogunate. I really like the place and the history. Everything is near. And there is a festival too. First time we visited here. Kokura Castle is also known as Cherry blossom castle🌸🏯
Rochelle O — Google review
A small but charming castle with a huge parking lot just across the street. You can take the paid elevator up to the castle. There aren’t many interactive activities, but the view from the top floor is lovely and relaxing. The souvenir selection isn’t particularly exciting, yet the overall visit feels easy and pleasant — a nice, laid-back castle experience.
Vien C — Google review
A historic castle. It's very beautiful and you can go inside. It has been burned down and rebuilt many times. It has the history of Japan written inside. It was very moving! You should definitely go!🏯
RENA玲 — Google review
A nice town worth visiting, once you arrive at the Kokura station, use the south exit and walk along the way by using your google maps, nice walk no worries. A lovely garden nearby. Just buy the ticket upfront.

The TOTO Museum in Kitakyushu is a modern and environmentally friendly museum that showcases the history and evolution of toilets and tableware manufactured by the long-standing company, Toto. Founded in 1917 as Toyo Toki, meaning Oriental Ceramics, TOTO Toilets has become renowned for its water-related products such as toilets and unit bathrooms.
Kudos to the TOTO group to spend the money to celebrate its history and preserve its legacy with this unique look at the bathroom essentials. It was certainly unique and an eye opener to see how TOTO came about about 100 years ago. Free entrance and the staff were super courteous to take good care of their guests. Can recommend to visit if you have an hour to spare. Just awesome washlets!!!
DANNY L — Google review
I’ll admit—I found the Toto Museum far more fascinating than I expected. It might seem counterintuitive to spend time at a museum dedicated to the world’s leading toilet manufacturer, but it turned out to be both educational and surprisingly engaging. Interactive exhibits and detailed cutaways answer that age-old question we’ve all wondered: “How does a toilet actually work?” The museum also offers convenient coin lockers for visitors, and on the lower floor, you’ll find the Toto showroom, where you can admire the latest in high-tech toilets and sleek bathtubs. Believe it or not, this is a must-see stop when visiting Kitakyushu—quirky, informative, and unexpectedly memorable.
Darrell H — Google review
Excellent exhibit, a history of Toto. The building has two levels second level for the museum and history of Toto. The first level is a showroom and sales floor. Interesting to anybody, but specially for people working in construction trades or design would benefit the most. (I’m pretty sure they would not sell products intended for Japan for export, Toto product sold in the United States are different)
Freeman B — Google review
Toto museum is definitely an interesting experience. You get to see the evolution of Japanese toilets from the ancient era to what you see today. High tech, comfortable and easy to use.
Randy N — Google review
Initially I thought this would be a quirky museum that would be a quick walk thru. Upon entering I was extremely surprised at how robust it actually was. The interactive displays were a nice touch as well. If you are in Kathmandu, definitely worth a visit
Kyle J — Google review
It’s free and better than what I expect. All ages of my family love it and spend 1.5 hours here.
Man Y — Google review
Great way to spend a afternoon in the blazing summer heat, this was a fun (& actually very educational) museum, the building itself is also very nice, the staff are lovely and the ✨toilet✨ was great. Would recommend!
J. W — Google review
Great place to visit if you have a spare hour or two! Three well designed exhibit halls showcasing the evolution of both TOTO and bathroom equipment in Japan over the past 120 years. Has a couple of interactive toilets sectioned in half where you can see the flushing system and they demonstrate the volume of water it takes. Showa era designed bathroom equipment was quite cool as well. Has a showroom on the ground floor if you'd like to buy some (good luck taking the 🚽 on the airplane though!).

Mojiko Retro is a charming destination in Kita Kyushu, known for its historic architecture along the harbor. Visitors can explore shops, eateries, and enjoy various events in this area. The Mojiko Retro Tourist Center is a one-stop shop offering a variety of items including sweets and signature crafts like Japanese wooden dolls. Additionally, Mojiko Kaikyo Plaza features shops selling traditional music boxes and other trinkets.
It's a port where you can overlook to honshu lsland from kyushu island, to of the 5 islands in Japan. The scenary and fantastic with good sunlight. A place to relax, but not much happening. Just some beautiful old style buildings there and a bridge connecting 2 islands
Willie L — Google review
Visited Mojiko Retro District on September 12, 2025. Even in mid-September it was still hot and humid, but the retro-style buildings, old port atmosphere, and relaxed vibe made it a very enjoyable stroll. That day there were several pop-up shops selling dog goods and many visitors with their pets—possibly a special “Dog Day”—which gave the town a cheerful and lively feel. We also enjoyed the shopping area, where visitors can eat local dishes, relax in cafés, and shop for souvenirs. The retro setting makes it a pleasant place to wander and take breaks. In the early evening, we went up to the 31st-floor Observation Room near the waterfront. For just ¥300, we got a stunning 270° panoramic view of the port, the Kanmon Strait, and Shimonoseki across the water. Seeing the scenery shift from daylight to dusk, as the town lights began to glow, was unforgettable. I recommend visiting in the afternoon through the evening so you can enjoy both the daytime stroll and the magical night view from above. Mojiko Retro is compact, walkable, and offers the perfect mix of history, culture, food, and scenery.
Benz H — Google review
A lovely port town with beautiful, European-style buildings and a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for taking leisurely strolls and capturing scenic view.
Pattaraporn K — Google review
Not recommend if you do not have free time. Nothing to do much. The view is amazing and beautiful but that's it. The banana soft cream is wonderful. However, overall is so so.
Nattapob P — Google review
If you want to see one of the greatest examples of how western influence made its way in Japan, visit Mojiko Retro. It’s a beautiful dock with many European buildings and tons of dining options, shops, museums, view points and water features. The train station itself is already a great attraction.
Hank R — Google review
Assuming this is the geotag of the wharf area, this is the most lively location where tourists and local partake in souvenir buying and eating, if not for the yaki curry to the east of the station. Made in Japan products and handicrafts line the bay area and many take shelter from the rain indoors. Since you are here, just get the banana products like cakes and tarts. I managed to buy a stack of Tirolian for my students back home. Feedback was that it was delicious, as is all snacks.
Alvin L — Google review
Mojiko Retro (in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka) is a historic port area famous for Western-style buildings, sea views, and its signature yaki curry. It’s one of the best places in Kitakyushu for a relaxed photo walk.

Nice little town with historical buildings, shops, restaurants, and lots of places to watch the ocean activities in the strait. Catch a bus or tram to the pedestrian walkway that takes you under tge strait to Honshu Island. Visit the fish market and enjoy the wharf. Then catch the ferry back to Mojiko.

The Kyushu Railway History Museum in Moji, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan is a must-visit for train enthusiasts and history buffs alike. It showcases a fascinating collection of steam engines, sleeping carriages, and an early electric train designed in 1942. Visitors can explore retired vehicles and even take a tour inside some of the old carriages. The museum also features a functioning miniature train track, driving simulation, and informative displays that cater to Japan's avid train following.
A must visit place when you're in mojiko, here you'll learn the history of kyushu trains then and now. As a JR pass user I always wonder why there are old trains and newer trains and all these are explained here. Some interesting exhibits are old tickets, old trains that re removed, tracks types
Willie L — Google review
Good for children. Paid for ticket. The outdoor train simulator requires ¥300 for 2 people. The indoor train simulator is free but takes a long time for waiting, STRONGLY suggests reserving the indoor train simulator first.
鎧atHK — Google review
Kyushu railway history museum is a nice museum to understand more about trains, although not a very big one. You can try the train simulator and play with the model train for ¥100. You can even take the mini train ride to become a train captain for ¥300 but could be close due to bad weather.
Randy N — Google review
What amazed me is how much they can fit inside of the tiny park area. With the ¥300 yen ticket per adult you can check out historic trains from the last century parked in a row, a mini outdoor railway park, a diorama room showcasing all the N-gauge Shinkansen and other iconic express trains in Kyushu, a train simulator room, a library of real, ancient relics on train history in Kyushu and so on.
Hank R — Google review
Great museum. Tons of artifacts. Great layout. Just wish things were translated into other languages for non-Japanese speakers. If they were, I would give this five stars.
Nicholas M — Google review
my sons love trains so when they know there is a train museum in kyushu, they keep nagging to go here. quite nice, not too big like the one we went on another city but they still like it. there are several old trains on the train garage with each of their history. we can also go inside the museum which shows many old things related to trains. kids also can play train simulator by paying 100 yen only, but you need to get ticket reservation because most children would like to play this.
Lenny L — Google review
Boring, nothing to see here but a few trains that you cannot enter. Bunch of Japanese kids running around and shouting. Perhaps this is what hell looks like. Everything that seems fun is paywar. Save the 300 yen for a menchi katsu instead
Ting H — Google review
As a train fan this is the place I’ve been owing to go while in Kitakyushu. Adjacent to Mojiko Station there are old train carriages outdoors on display with three of them you can enter inside, as the interior is well preserved. The main building hosts a small 1900 carriage and an exhibition room upstairs with railway artifacts, station and destination signs and old photos. Though not as big as the one near Omiya it is great that there is one.

Garden
Nature & Parks
Kokura Castle Garden is a picturesque Japanese-style garden located near a reconstructed feudal fortress. The castle grounds, known as Katsuyama Park, are popular for cherry blossom viewing in early April. The modern interior of the castle keep features five floors and offers insights into Kokura's history. While the garden is relatively small compared to others, it houses a museum showcasing Kokura's history and traditional textile production.
Well-kept traditional Japanese garden. While not a major attraction, we found a short walk around the gardens and along the tea rooms to be calming and enjoyable.
Timothy B — Google review
If it was cooler weather this garden would be a nice place to relax. It's small but still has a relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend this if you wanted to take a spot to sit down but wouldn't go out of my way to visit specifically
David C — Google review
Um~~ Not a must-visit. I purchased a combined admission ticket for Kokura Castle for a little over 500 yen, but I don't think there's a need to go there. I like pretty, well-maintained Japanese gardens, but this one isn't well-maintained and there's little to see. The water in the pond was so murky that it didn't look good. I don't think it's a place you'd pay money to go to.
Sona — Google review
The silence, scenenarly garden. You can mind set. View of castle from this garden is beautiful. You can experience tea ceremony, as well.
Ken M — Google review
Kokura Castle Garden is a traditional Japanese garden. While the garden is decent, it is a bit small compared to other Japanese gardens. However, it has a small museum explaining the history of Kokura and the famous Kokura-ori which is a kind of traditional textile made by traditional loom. Overall, it is an interesting place and you will be able to spend around 30 minutes here. Please note that they sell combo tickets with discount for you to enter this garden, Kokura Castle and Matsumoto Seicho Memorial Museum.
Javin Y — Google review
Beautiful garden, full of lovely flowers that bloom all year around. Inside you can relax and at the end of the exhibition there's a beautiful place to enjoy the kokura castle.
Roberto R — Google review
Small and well maintained garden. It comprises of one small pond with plants and flowers. Staff is friendly and approachable, one can had photography with castle in background. Better to say, well preserved garden in the middle of skyscrapers.

Katsuyama Park is a spacious and verdant area in Kitakyushu, featuring a playground, waterfront paths, and a library. The park is known for its seasonal cherry blossoms, making it an ideal spot to visit from March onwards. It also offers breathtaking views of the surroundings throughout the year. The park hosts various events such as the Hyakuman-odori procession and Natsu-matsuri Daishugo festival floats.
Katsuyama park is located next to the Kokura Castle and is a nice place to visit. It has multiple large lawns where locals can relax or play. The flower gardens are well-maintained and add to the park’s beauty. Overall, it’s a very nice park with a relaxing atmosphere.

Nestled within Fukuoka's anime hub, Aru Aru City, the Kitakyushu Manga Museum showcases vibrant galleries featuring the works of renowned manga artists associated with Kitakyushu City. Visitors can explore large-scale murals and delve into a comic book library housing an extensive collection dating back to the 1940s.
Amazing museum that shows the history of manga and how the process of manga creation works. At the end of the museum is the biggest library of manga I have ever seen, free for you to read since you already paid for admission! 🙂
Johnny L — Google review
I think calling this a museum is a slight exaggeration. Whilst it does have some early manga content it is not particularly extensive. The main draw is the extensive manga library you can browse and read at your leisure. IF you cant read Japanese, don't bother coming, as the display content is not in English and you won't make use of the library. IF you can read Japanese, I'd say give it a go. I'm sure it is beloved by locals, I'd go regularly if I lived nearby. Don't bother going all the way to Kitakyushu just for this though.
Andrew E — Google review
Took a nice quick visit of the manga museum. Their pride and joy is Leiji Matsumoto and the amazing contribution he has given the world. The museum has a few fun activities and also show cases new anime as well. The biggest time sink if you want to get out of this visit is reading the mangas in the library section. Most of it is in Japanese but you can also find some English translated volumes.

Took a quick revisit of the manga museum (I visited on Tuesday before check the schedule. It’s closed on Tuesday). A temporary event (manga show from Kaoru Mori, A Bride’s Story) was held in 5F. Meanwhile in the 6F there was a permanent event and a place where you can read a numerous manga collections. The ticket ¥800, cash only. Some area aren’t allowed to took pictures. Discover the fascinating world of natural and human history at the Kitakyushu Museum of Natural History & Human History. This diverse museum offers a wide range of exhibits, including dinosaurs, archeology, local culture, and a beautiful garden. The museum was formed in 2002 by combining three separate museums into one expansive space with 65,000 square feet of display area.
Big museum with many exhibits. You can purchase tickets easily on the spot. Do take note it takes a while to get through everything so plan your time accordingly

One of the best natural history museums I've visited. As you enter you're met with a big collection of stag beetles. The dinosaur skeletons and mammoth skeletons were amazing . There was an awesome exhibit of nautilus fossils, a good collection of minerals and crystals - I'm a huge fan. A very well curated artefacts on the history of Japan, with lots of information on the different samurai clans. Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 hrs visit.
陳老师Anisah — Google review
This has been the most mindblowing museum we have ever been to. The amount of information and the interactive exhibitions are truly exceptional! If you are ever in Fukuoka this is just one stop in the bullet train back in the direction of hiroshima. So you can be there in about 20 minutes. The dinosaurs are in the main hall and there are so many and so big that it's almost impossible to fit them in a proper photo. The only thing we regret was not going earlier as we didn't have time to buy anything in the gift shop because it was closing already. There were lots of things that were worth buying.
Kelly B — Google review
The Kitakyushu Museum of Natural History & Human History is a great museum that covers both ecology and history of Kitakyushu. The museum has a large area talking about how the earth was formed and how creatures evolved until now. For this part, they are doing well like other museums. After this section, then they focus more on both ecology and history of Kitakyushu. Overall, it is a very good museum and you will properly spend 1-2 hours there. During my last visit, the building was renovating outside but they have provided arrow signs to guide visitors to the entrance.
Javin Y — Google review
Wonderful museum... A must visit..
Pulkit C — Google review
The museum is a sprawling (6,100 sqm) place, the largest nature museum on Western Japan. It has an impressive display of dinosaur skeletons that are conveniently and strategically positioned at the ground level of the museum. Themed "Journey in Life" the museum has a time travelling room and a natural history zone that has 4,500 exhibits including the Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic eras
Maya B — Google review
Great experience of visit, especially if you are really into Geography and history I’m sure you will gain a lot of knowledge. Not only serves merely information about the past, prehistoric period, it has the live attraction movie-like except it has the robot that similar the real dinosaurs about how dinosaurs live in the past, although the explanation given in japanese i was astonished by how they managed to make the visitors get the insights.
Vimeleonora — Google review
It is a museum that displays not only skeletal specimens, but also stuffed specimens, models, and dioramas in a variety of ways. The museum is very large, and it would take about two hours just to tour it in a normal way. The explanations are simple but to the point, and the tour is well-paced. In the latter half of the museum, there is an introduction to old Japanese culture, which is very interesting. There are many exhibits that can be touched as well as seen, so children can have fun.

The Matsumoto Seicho Memorial Museum in Kitakyushu offers a captivating insight into the life and literary legacy of the renowned Japanese writer, Matsumoto Seicho. The museum provides a comprehensive overview of his extensive literary career, featuring a giant chronology and a video documentary showcasing his nonfiction works. Visitors can explore this modern space with intriguing exhibits about the author's life and work. Although signage in English is limited, an English brochure is available for assistance.

He is a giant of Japanese literature and a true national writer, and he is the father of the social mystery novel, who created and led a new genre called the social mystery novel. He expanded the mystery novel from a cult audience to the general readership (office workers and housewives). He changed simple detective novels into mystery novels.

The Kitakyushu Municipal Matsumoto Seicho Memorial Museum is a literary museum located in Kokurakita-ku, Kitakyushu, that exhibits works related to the life and achievements of the author Matsumoto Seicho. After Seicho's death, it was decided to build a memorial museum in his hometown of Kokurakita-ku, with the aim of honoring his achievements and passing them on to future generations. It opened on August 4, 1998 (Heisei 10) in a corner of the southwestern edge of the Kokura Castle ruins. Inside the museum, Seicho's achievements as a writer are introduced through videos and exhibits. One of the highlights is the exhibition room that faithfully recreates the exterior of his home in Takaido, Suginami-ku, Tokyo, as well as his study, library, and reception room, donated by his surviving family, to the way they were when he died.

This is the Seicho Matsumoto Memorial Hall, where the have reconstructed the life and literary works of the Japanese 'Maigret', author of over 300 books, many of them describing the adventures of Inspector Imanishi. For the fans of his works this is undoubtedly an excellent museum. For non-Japanese visitors it will be a letdown as there is no English explanation except for the well made brochure. Avoid this place unless you are a fan of this man's work.

(Translated by Google) In Kokura, I had a hard time deciding whether to visit Matsumoto Seicho or Matsumoto Leiji. This is a memorial museum for Matsumoto Seicho, a great Showa-era literary figure and novelist. It explains Matsumoto Seicho's upbringing, touching on the historical background and various incidents. The highlight is the impressive display of what appears to be all of Matsumoto Seicho's works (this is the only place photography is allowed). Another highlight is the replica of Matsumoto Seicho's home and study. The permanent exhibition, "Mystery Theater," is fantastic, showcasing the behind-the-scenes of Seicho's works through rare old footage. A great deal is available with a ticket that covers all three locations: the Matsumoto Seicho Memorial Museum, Kokura Castle, and Kokura Castle Gardens. Tanga Market, also known as Kitakyushu's Kitchen, is a historic covered market with over 100 vendors offering fresh seafood, produce, meat, and prepared foods. Established around 1913 along the Kantakegawa River bank by sardine fishermen, this bustling market has been serving the people of Kitakyushu for over a century.
Great local market with affordable breakfast and lunch options. Ate at a tuna restaurant and the chicken katsudon place. Also had a coffee at Benny's. Wanted to try the oden but long lines for it. If you're a tourist, some vendors don't like you taking pictures. The one who yelled at me was an older fruit vendor. So, be aware that photography may not always be welcome.
Ian G — Google review
Although the official opening hours are 10-17, many shops were closing or had only a few items for sale when I visited the market at around 15:30. There are many shops selling fresh sashimi, as well as some shops selling fresh vegetables, fruits and wagyu. It would be a nice place to visit with friends and family. I did not see any seating space for people to enjoy the food, but it is not far from the park around Kokura Castle so a possible way may be to bring the food from the market to the park instead.

Interesting market to visit with lots of shops. Quite a number of food stalls as well, ranging from Oden to fish cakes to fried food.
Randy N — Google review
The Tanga Market is a traditional market that was formed during the Taisho period from 1912 to 1926. There are about 120 stores selling ingredients along both sides of the market, so it is also called the "Kokura Kitchen." Many tourists visit here to feel the local atmosphere while looking at fresh seafood, meat, fruits, and vegetables. It is also famous for its traditional food that has been passed down from the Edo period. There are stores selling "nukamiso-daki," fish seasoned with Japanese miso, and "nukazuke," rice bran pickles, and there are also restaurants that offer a variety of menus such as fish cakes, udon, and seafood dishes, so it is a good place to have a meal while browsing the market.

Fun, nice and delicious! A place where you can have delicious food and have fun. It's a short distance, taking less than 10 minutes from end to end, but it will take quite some time if you go looking at the shops on both sides and eating food occasionally. A place where you can have fun experiences.

The street food over here is really best one. They have fresh sushi with affordable price. The chef make a sushi infront of us. Also they have really delicious home made of odeng. Park
Kawauchi Fujien is a charming park and hilltop viewpoint located in Kitakyushu, known for its stunning wisteria flowers that bloom in spring. The garden features impressive wisteria trellises and tunnels, which are the main attractions of the park. Accessing the garden without a car can be challenging, as it's located about a 45-minute to 1-hour walk from the closest bus stop at Kamijuta Station.
The flowering season comes only once a year usually around early may, tickets go on sale in April online. Book you time slot for ¥500pp, when you arrive depending on the flowering quality you will need to top up to ¥1500pp like we did (full bloom) Ample parking, well coordinated and overall an amazing experience. Highly recommended. After ticket inspection, take the far right path. It's much easier to walk up. Please NOTE - this is NOT a place to have a picnic, you're not supposed to bring in any food or drinks. Don't be those people, ignorance is not an excuse.
Benjamin Z — Google review
We arrived around 9 AM on a Thursday, and the crowd was quite light—not many people, so it was easy to take photos with just a short wait. The flowers were in beautiful bloom, and there was a gentle floral scent in the air, which I found really pleasant—something like jasmine or Calendula officinalis. When we arrived by car, there were staff members helping with parking directions. There are restrooms available—fairly clean. The women’s restroom had four stalls, while the men’s had three, though one of them seemed to be temporarily out of order. The walking path is marked as one-way, but there didn’t seem to be any strict enforcement. We saw a couple in wedding attire—hopefully they got some lovely photos. There were also a few small items available for sale near the entrance, but not many.
李京軒 — Google review
It’s a nice place to visit if you are around kokura. Please buy tickets online and show the QR code to the staff at entrance. The flower tunnels are enchanting, and there are many benches for people to sit and appreciate the ambience. You may find different types of flora collection along the way too. This place is well managed with many staff to direct the traffic and parking. Parking is free. There are also some mobile toilet stands outside near the car park area.
Jessie O — Google review
We almost skipped this park because the ticket-buying process is a real headache: confusing website (at least during golden week there is no other way to get a ticket, not even on side) and there were even different prices depending on how “pretty” it currently is (felt a bit like a scam). Once inside, though, it was well worth it. Even during Golden Week it never felt overcrowded and everything was beautifully arranged which made this a worthy stop on our trip. If they could simplify the admission steps and ditch the beauty-based pricing, this would be a top-tier destination. As it stands, the flower park is fantastic, but the experience starts on a sour note.
Ercan C — Google review
We arrived at around 3 pm and was told we need to reserve a slot but I was having issues signing up online so the lady allowed me to pay with credit card. The flowers were already in bloom and it was a beautiful sight but there were too many people to be able to take a nice shot. Overall experience was great. And worth the travel. Very pleased with what I have seen and experienced.
Cynthia T — Google review
Already almost full-bloom in late April 2025 (24th). Not too crowded on weekday. Beautiful wisteria tunnel, spherical cave filled with wisteria. Beautiful and nice place to go for sight-seeing. Have 3 tones of colors; white, pink and purple wisteria Recommended for flower lovers and photogenic persons.
Pornphun P — Google review
If you don’t have car you need to get a taxi from yahata station even from mt sarakura too . Return around 3000 yen x2 . Now it’s 80% blooming, very pretty well look after wisteria flowers garden. * easier get tickets from 7-11 or Lawson for 500yen but when you go to the garden you will need to pay 1000-1500yen depending on the day of the flowers conditions.
Eliza B — Google review
A Hidden Gem Worth Visiting This stunning and affordable destination is open to the public twice a year, drawing a large number of visitors. Due to its limited opening periods, it's crucial to purchase tickets online in advance to secure your entry. While there are no restrooms within the premises, visitors can access clean and well-maintained facilities at the entrance. The venue's size is smaller than anticipated, allowing for a quick and enjoyable exploration.

Mimosusogawa Park in Shimonoseki is easily accessible by various means of transportation, including high-speed trains, regular JR train lines, and even ferries from Kitakyushu. The park offers stunning views of the Kanmon Bridge and the Kanmon Strait. Visitors can explore two battle monuments that commemorate historical conflicts, including a row of replica Choshu cannons and statues depicting leaders from the Genpei War.
Mimosusogawa Park is located across the street from the Shimonoseki side of the Kanmon Tunnel. At first glance, it doesn't look much different from a regular park, but this is a military stronghold and a place where historically important events took place. Emperor Antoku, who became the emperor at a young age, jumped into the sea here in 1185 when he was 8 years old, was pushed by two forces and died. From this point on, the emperor became a figurehead and the shogunate era began. There are bronze statues of Taira no Kiyomori jumping into the sea after losing the Battle of Dannoura in the 12th century, and Minamoto Yoritomo, who won the battle and opened the Kamakura shogunate.
Christian C — Google review
Location of the final battle of the Genpei war. The park is small and narrow and located alongside a very busy road. But the views of the Kanmon strait and bridge are very spectacular. It is entertaining to watch the boats go by. There is a statue commemorating the battle which took place in the strait here. In addition, there was a skirmish here between the Choshu forces and a western coalition in the lead-up to the Meiji restoration. You can see reconstructed cannons at the park. I recommend visiting if you are interested in history.
Nat F — Google review
I sat on a nearby bench for a few minutes to rest. Ships were frequently cruising through the strait. It felt a bit emotional to realize that the land right in front of me was Kyushu. Afterward, I took a ferry to visit Moji.

Mimosusogawa Park is a great spot to enjoy the view of Kanmon Bridge. This park has a few displays of historical wars. This includes a few historical cannons lined up facing toward Kyushu. They also have 2 statues of historical warriors that fought in Kanmon Strait, with the handprints of corresponding actors. Overall, it’s a relaxing park that’s worth a visit if you are in that area. The entrance of Kanmon Tunnel is right next to this park, so you can also consider walking to Kyushu through this special tunnel if you visit this park.

Mekari Shrine is an ancient Shinto shrine situated at the water's edge of the Kanmon Strait, near the modern Kanmon Bridge. This unique location offers a captivating juxtaposition of ancient and modern elements, with the skyline of Shimonoseki city in the background and ocean vessels passing by. Located on the edge of Kyushu Island, it is adjacent to the Kanmon Straits Bridge connecting Yamaguchi and Fukuoka Prefectures.
While searching historical materials of Mekari Shrine and looking into the history of funerals, they found information that in the very old days, corpses were put on small boats and floated out to sea. They decided to apply this to develop a service called "Sea Funeral" (a ceremony to scatter remains into the sea). They posted an announcement about the sea funeral service on their website in July 2014 and received their first request three months later. Since then, their annual income has exceeded 10 million yen for the first time.

A wonderful little shrine located by the sea. It is small by the view it offers makes it one of the best shrines I’ve been to in a Japan. The bridge, the sea, and the white torii combined is not something that you can commonly see. And the fact that it is secluded from the more touristy area makes you feel calm once you are there.

A nice little park atop Hinoyama. There is a small gift shop, viewing platform and eating area at the top also. There is a cable car line up to the top, but in all my visits I never used it. The parking is free and offers lots of spots. The view from the top of the mountain is pretty spectacular. You can take in the whole of the Kanmon strait, looking across to Kyushu. You also get great views towards Shimonoseki city and Korea (though obviously Korea isn't visible). Yasaka Shrine is a branch of the famous Yasaka Shrine in Kyoto, located near Kokura Castle in Kitakyushu. The shrine is situated close to the Riverwalk and features a massive main gate and beautiful buildings typical of Japanese shrines. The path leading to the shrine is adorned with Hydrangeas, creating a picturesque walkway. Visitors can enjoy the well-maintained grounds and soak in the quiet atmosphere, making it a worthwhile stop when exploring Kokura Castle.
Yasaka Shrine, Kokura, is located beside Kokura Castle and its garden, and it is not uncommon for the local residents and visitors simply to visit or worship at Yasaka Shrine. The Shrine in Kokura is rather different from other shrines in Japan which are also named Yasaka Shrines, because Yasaka Shrine in Kokura has a mix tradition of Shinto beliefs and Buddhism. It is believed that the current Shrine was re-built in 1617, although it might be built much earlier. The Shrine is also unique because it has stone-concrete and wood torii gates as its entrance gates, while most of Shinto shrines only have one entrance torii gate for their shrines. Shrine is free for entrance, and, nowadays, the Shrine seems to provide funeral worship and storage service for the deceased families.

Nestled deep in the Hiraodai Mountains, Senbutsu Stalactite Cave is a vast limestone cavern with illuminated pathways that showcase stunning stalactites and a fast-flowing subterranean stream. The aquamarine-colored stream, streaked with yellow mineral composite, winds through narrow paths as visitors are greeted by a breath of chilly air.
Very nice cave. It will be a life time remembering visit. Lighting inside the cave is great, water is cold even in summer. They will provide shoes for the trail. Be aware there is no transport service except Holidays. It's a must visit place if you have enough time.
Khandaker R — Google review
Very unique must-try experience! You get to walk in the underground cave that is over 900m long. Some tips: 1) First half can be done with regular shoes, but the second half would require sandals as you will be walking in water. The water level can come up to your knee and can be quite cold. 2) They let you borrow sandals for free, but if you don't like sharing public footwear, then bring your own!! 3) There is hand and feet washing area and they provide free towels, but it is shared with others so bring your own towels if you don't like that. 4) Bathroom is really clean and are the western kind. They do ask for 10 YEN donation per use to help with the maintenance cost. It's written in Japanese so don't miss it! 5) Parking is massive and free. 6) It is an in-and-out route so be prepared to share the narrow pathway with others.

Lovely experience. The water walking path is really fun. The water us very cold it will freeze your feet and legs. The adrenaline from the painful of frostbite make this trip more special. The experience was quite memorable, offering a unique and enjoyable adventure. The water walking path presented an exciting challenge for those seeking a novel activity. However, the water's temperature was strikingly low, requiring careful consideration. The sensation of the cold water on the feet and legs was definitely intense, potentially causing a chilling effect. This unexpected aspect added an element of thrill to the overall experience.
Pluem — Google review
Fantastic experience, a highlight of our Japan trip. The cave has a flat track to walk inside. It can get slippery on some sections near the water. It's true you get used to the cold water, so keep going. Recommended swimwear, head lamp, waterproof camera. There are coin lockers, shoe racks, toilets, change rooms, nice cafe for a small lunch afterwards. We walked from the minibus drop off point for 1/2 hour. The approach down to the cave has many stairs. Note the minibus is small and easily filled up. Be early to get on it, take money for a taxi in case you can't get on. See attached photo of bus timetable. Note Google maps train times were not accurate, the train came early.
Ann S — Google review
Definitely bring extra socks and a towel for your feet. There are free shoes to use for guests, because you will go deep into the cave rivers. Recommend shorts instead of pants and skirts because the water will be deep in some places. There is a small zone of WiFi or cell phone reception at the mouth of the cave and the store and restaurant, so plan your google maps before you leave.
Matt D — Google review
I visited this cave on end of March (5°C outside) which water still very cold but I felt so numb after walking for a while :). An admission fee is JPY900/person which they provide many sizes of sandals for free. I really super enjoyed this cave and spent time round-trip approx.1 hour+. By the way the way down to cave quite steep but it's worth to visit.
Supak R — Google review
It is a perfect place for an adventure. Deep in the mountains of hiraodai, this place is really something. The cave has it's unique shapes and design. The cold running water inside the cave makes it very difficult to walk. But because of that it creates a white marvelous white surface, which is really beautiful. It is one of the place in kitakyushu which I recommend to visit.
Saurabh S — Google review
Wonderful experience navigating an underwater cave! About an hour back and forth if you want to truly enjoy the exploration slowly. Halfway through you start wading through knee high water. At the end theres a part that's not lit. I didn't get to do that as I was with kids but if you have a torch it would probably make for a nice little adventure. Worth the visit!

Nestled on a hilltop, Shiranoe Botanical Garden is a vibrant paradise showcasing an array of colorful flowers and meticulously landscaped grounds. The garden hosts the Sakura Relay, making it a must-visit for flower enthusiasts. For breathtaking views of the city, take a nighttime cable car ride to the top of Mt. Sarakura. Additionally, nearby parks like Hinoyama and Mimosusogawa offer stunning vistas of the iconic Kanmon Bridge.
We reached about 3.30pm, which is just over an hr before it closes, and we were ushered in without the need for tickets. Japanese makes their gardens different. We regret not coming earlier to properly finish touring the garden. It's so beautiful!

I went during November, so there weren't any flowers. It looks like it's much better in the Spring. It does have a nice view of the sea from the top. I think it's a nice place for a short hike since it's located on a hill. The cost is also quite cheap! They have a discount for foreigners too.

We really love this place. Great for everyone. You can visit year round since they have many variety of plants and flowers which have different peak blooming time. This park will give different atmosphere in different season. The view is breathtaking. Many choices if hiking routes including wheelchairs and strollers. Just be careful when you bring children since they usually like go up and down through the stairs. You can also rent walking stick for free. Easily accesible using public transport. Use jr train, get off at Mojiko Station and wait for Nishitetsu's #41 bus. Bus waiting time depends on the day, sometimes an hour sometimes is just half an hour. Use the same bus from halte accross the street when you get off at Shiranoe. There is multi language announcement at the bus right before the bus stop. Plenty parking space for cars and bus. The entrance fee is dirt cheap and foreigners get extra discount. Souvenirs shop and utilities are conveniently available too. What can you ask for more. Definitely worth to visit. I'm so highly recommended this place. If you visit Shimonoseki or Mojiko give it a try.

Such a beautiful place and lots of good facilities. It's free to enter and then there is big open green spaces to have a picnic, restaurant, shop, park to enjoy. The toilets are nice and clean. Aruaru City, located near Kokura Station in Kitakyushu City, is a compact mall catering to anime and manga enthusiasts. The city boasts shops selling a variety of merchandise including anime, manga, cosplay items, and more. Visitors can also enjoy karaoke clubs and eateries within the vicinity. Additionally, the area is home to Kokura Castle which was originally built in the 17th century to guard the roads between Kyoto and Hakata.
The whole building is full of all kinds of models shops, including figures, model cars, plastic kits……etc. This is indeed model enthusiasts' paradise.
Yang T — Google review
So many shops for anime things. Model kits, figures, books, accessories, cosplay, CDs, second hand stuff. Bought some things for myself and souvenirs for others. Some stores offer tourists tax-free purchases of 5000+ yen. Make sure to bring your passport. English is variable amongst the stores and staff. So have a translator app ready or the name of whatever you want written in Japanese. I could not visit the manga museum. So, I can't rate it. WiFi was impossible to connect to. I checked with staff and typed it in all caps as the signs suggested. No connection. No one at the info desk to help. Also, not much in the way of food. A cafe and a Saizeriya were all I saw within the building.
Ian G — Google review
Big mall with many anime related stores. You can check out a maid cafe, many seocndhand stores like Jungle, Surugaya, Mandarake, Lashinban. There is a Melonbooks, Gee Store, Cospa, crane games, and even a cosplay area, The manga museum occupies two floors and there is also a Lawson x Ponta downstairs. In the basement floors there are multiple card shops.

Expensive for what you are able to see! Majority of the museum is closed including the “permanent exhibit”. Ironic. Otherwise there are only two rooms to see. ¥1700 for maybe 10 minutes of viewing time?? Tried coming here multiple times and disappointed each visit! If they're running an event you like, it's worth going, but if not, it's disappointing. The museum staff don't have much knowledge either. If you're imagining a museum in Ueno or somewhere like that, you'll be disappointed. However, since it's on top of a mountain, the view is good. Mt. Komonji offers a challenging yet rewarding climb with breathtaking views of Kitakyushu city and the Kanmon Straits. The multiple trails make it perfect for hiking and trail running, providing an adventurous experience in the midst of nature. Despite the difficulty of reaching the summit, the stunning scenery and sense of accomplishment make it a must-visit destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
Hiking Mt. Komonji (小文字山) – A Rewarding Urban Escape in Kitakyushu Last week, I hiked Mt. Komonji (小文字山) in Kitakyushu, and it was an invigorating experience! Though the trail is short, it presents a steep climb that challenges even seasoned hikers. The effort is well worth it, as the summit offers breathtaking panoramic views of Kitakyushu city, especially enchanting during twilight. Trail Insights: • The ascent is steep and can be slippery in parts; sturdy hiking shoes are recommended. • Safety ropes and chains are available on the trail to assist with the climb. • The hike typically takes about an hour to reach the summit. Tips: • Bring sufficient water and perhaps a light snack to enjoy at the top. • If you plan to descend after sunset, carry a flashlight or headlamp, as the trail can be quite dark. By Car: Many visitors choose to drive to the trailhead. There is a parking area available near the starting point of the hike, providing a convenient option for those traveling by private vehicle. On Foot: For those preferring to walk, the trailhead is within walking distance from JR Kokura Station. The hike from the station to the base of Mt. Komonji offers a pleasant stroll through the city, allowing hikers to experience the local atmosphere before beginning the ascent. Mt. Komonji may not be as renowned as nearby Mt. Sarakura, but it offers a serene and less crowded alternative with equally stunning views. It’s a perfect spot for those seeking a quick yet fulfilling hike within the city.

The observation room is known for its beautiful night views, which are part of the 'Japan Night-view Heritage' sites in the city.
Such a vibe! Visited on a Tuesday. The staff are very sweet and friendly, guiding us up the elevator and directing us to the ticket counter. Tickets are ¥300 for adults and gain you another entry if you feel like coming back later as we did. The view from the 31st floor was beautiful during the day as well as night, but the windows have slight glare which may be a little annoying for taking pictures. There is information around the room about the Kanmon Strait, and a nice cafe to sit and enjoy the view. The cheese cake was very good. I enjoyed the jazz music they had going on too, great atmosphere. They even had a stamp rally around town, very fun. Thank you Mojiko xx 😚🩷

Very easy on the from or to Fukuoka. Went during the day : the view at the top is breathtaking, however it is said to be even more beautiful at night. The staff is also very kind, the food at the restaurant is very good and affordable.

Orderly entrance and exit. Nice nightscape. Doesn’t seem to have a lot of souvenirs available compared to some other viewing decks Might want to avoid the restaurant if you are visiting on a weekend or friday night since they were offering all you can drink (namehoudai) so lots of groups crowd the place and took I think more than 30mins to get our drinks (float and coffee)

Heritage building
Former Moji Customs Office, a restored red-brick building dating back to 1912, now serves as an art gallery and rest area for visitors. The site offers free admission and provides insights into the history of Moji Customs and the port. Inside, there are detailed examples of smuggling techniques on display, offering a unique perspective on the region's history. Additionally, visitors can enjoy harbor views from the terrace while relaxing at the onsite cafe.
A very beautiful building — a must-visit for travelers who love taking photos.

A beautiful historic building of the former Customs Office. It is free entrance and worth for a visit. However, there isn’t much information about the history of the Moji port or this building. It might be a missed opportunity of turning it into an interesting museum and better tourist attraction.

Attractive building, free to enter, displays inside. There is a pretty goofy display on Japanese customs inside, including lots of displays on how a variety of illicit goods might be smuggled into the country 🤔😂 It’s worth it to drop by, or at least to walk by the exterior.

The Miyamoto Musashi & Sasaki Kojiro statue is a significant historical site located in Ganryujima, a small island in the Kanmon Strait in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. This island is known as the legendary dueling ground of the renowned swordsmen Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Kojiro during the Edo period.
A historic site in a quite island
Budi P — Google review
I was very disappointed when me and my wife visited this historic site of one of Musashi’s greatest duels. The grass and weeds around the two statues and the slab monument were extremely high and needed to be thinned out and cut. There is a white colored rectangular slab monument, with Musashi and Kojiro’s name on it that was partially sinking into the ground and had high weeds all around it. I honestly expected the site of one of the greatest samurai duels in Japanese history, to be better taken care of. As a major tourist attraction, located within Shimonoseki, the city or tourist department should spend more time and maintenance money, on grounds upkeep.

The Yahata Imperial Steel Works Former Head Office Viewing Space offers a glimpse into Japan's Meiji Industrial Revolution. This World Cultural Heritage Site showcases the final stage of industrialization in iron and steel manufacturing, shipbuilding, and coal industries. Although visitors cannot enter the office, they can view its exterior from the viewing space and receive informative explanations from volunteers about the history of Yahata Steel Works and black iron wire.
(Translated by Google) I love visiting World Heritage Sites, and this was my first time visiting the Yawata Steel Works☺︎♪ There are three buildings designated as World Cultural Heritage Sites at this location (former main office, former blacksmith factory, and repair factory), but only the former main office can be seen from here. The other two are hidden by trees and cannot be seen. There's no point in just looking at it from a distance, The steelworks is over 100 years old and has deteriorated, and since it is still in operation, there seem to be issues with safety management. It was great to be able to listen to the detailed information from the guide who explained about the Yawata Steel Works. Personally, it was such a meaningful learning experience that I would have paid for it. Taikichi Aso is one of the three Chikuho families. I was surprised at how similar he and Taro Aso are even though they are three degrees apart (he is shown in the exhibition photo). There is also a plaza with playground equipment and a Japanese garden. It was built to commemorate Kitakyushu City's 20th anniversary as a city. I came here because I heard it was a famous place for azaleas. It is true that many azaleas are planted in the park. However, there are very few trees with flowers... Most of the trees around the walking course are just leaves. When I went to the Japanese garden, I saw that they were blooming beautifully and reflected in the garden's pond. Is there a different way to prune? I was hoping to see more flowers blooming. There are people who enjoy walking every day, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the area is crowded with sports and families. It is an easy-to-use park with a large parking lot, and is also a place for office workers to take a break on weekdays. Some people respond politely and politely, but the lady who was there tonight had a low voice and was very cold in her response. I was told, ``We can't process your parking ticket without the return timetable.'' I didn't know where I had left it, so I was sorry for not being able to show it to you right away, but when I told them that I'd never heard anything like that before, they just blurted out, ``I think you did, right?'' without looking at them. First of all, although I have used this facility many times, I have never had anyone say anything like that. There was no such information on the return timetable, and the facility staff had written down the times on the whiteboard, so I thought they didn't have to be so strict about it. There were also some flaws on the part of the facility, such as not turning on the lights in the arena even after the scheduled time. I would like the facilities to take a firm approach so that they can present the rules to users. I thought the inside of the facility was a very nice building with a clean feel. It's a shame that the quality is down due to some staff members. The kids had fun spinning around in circles. There is a 10-minute break every hour. The lazy river is about 70cm deep, with a waterfall along the way and clean water. The people around her were also paying attention and went to tell the staff at the entrance, but the mother looked very strong and the children had brown hair, so the staff was scared and let them use the room. They may have been a scary family to the young female staff, but the users of the women's changing room were very suspicious that boys up to junior high school age could enter the women's changing room without any punishment. Some people said that the boy was big, but he ignored them. I wonder if he's a regular? Why do they have staff at the entrance? If there are various detailed rules such as no piercings, glasses, or trash disposal, I wish they would not allow children who are too big to enter the opposite sex's changing room. I looked at the Q&A on the official website and there was no information about using the changing room, so I thought that even big boys would enter the women's changing room. I would like them to take action soon because my child doesn't like it. It seemed that some of the reviews on here have not been improved. I wonder if they will share them? Even very large boys enter the women's changing room and look around as if it's natural, so I recommend changing in a place with a curtain. However, there are only a limited number of curtained areas, so if you go before the curtain closes, you may be chased by the staff, so it may be difficult. Moms who bring boys home are almost monsters, so if the staff don't seem reliable, I think it's better to protect yourself. A little ahead is 7-Eleven, Komeda Coffee, Fadey, Art Garden, etc. There are many shops, so you can have a cup of tea on the way home. Anyway, it's been a long time since the pool I had a great time. We often have holidays due to matches, private parties, etc. Please check the schedule before using. I'm happy to have a good facility in my hometown. Please note one point! ! ! There are two entrances to the parking lot. The exit is in front The entrance was at the back. There was one-way traffic inside. The sign is only 50 meters ahead of the exit. It's hard to tell because you can't see it at all. For the third time, the exit is in front of you. I realized that I was driving the wrong way. I think this needs improvement! ! ! →After that, there is a buoy at the front exit that prohibits entry? is placed It was a little easier to understand I think it's hard to understand for first-timers, after all.

There is a new facility with a 50m official competition pool, and a 25m swimming pool for children. Please note that there are no special rules for using the 50m pool, and the depth of the water is usually 145cm, but before a tournament, it will be about 180cm. There are no bead versions or pull buoys available for rent, and there are many people on days when there are private classes! Water temperature and air conditioning are low, making it cold in winter. (Translated by Google) This is a public pool. The building has been renovated. There are a 50m and a 25m pool. The 50m pool is 1.8m deep. The changing rooms are spacious and clean, and there are separate showers and hairdryers. The general admission fee is 600 yen, but if you purchase a 10-time pass, it's 420 yen per time, so it's a good deal. Motorcycles are free, but cars are 100 yen for the first 1.5 hours, and 100 yen for each hour thereafter, so it costs 200 yen for two hours. I used to go to another pool, but the operator changed and three of the five lanes were used by a school, making it difficult to swim, so I decided to go to this pool, which I used before the renovation. It's very clean, the water temperature is low, and the 50m pool is relatively empty because it's deep, so it's extremely easy to swim in. (Translated by Google) It's not a leisure pool but a competitive swimming pool, so it's a pool for people who just want to swim, rather than just hanging out with friends. Beach balls and play equipment are not allowed, and swimming caps are required. Swimming rings (within 60cm) and arm helpers are only allowed in the toddler pool. The use of smartphones is prohibited in the bleachers inside the pool. The facility is very clean, including changing rooms and toilets. Immediately after entering the women's changing room, there is a restroom with a large mirror and a hair dryer. There are two changing booths with curtains in the back, and further back there are coin-operated lockers (100 yen return type). The shower room is well equipped, but unfortunately there is a lot of black mold on the curtain. The dehydrator was broken and disappeared for a while, but it has recently been restored and only one is currently in operation. The pool has a shallow toddler pool, 25m and 50m pools, and all lanes except for toddlers are separated by course ropes, but during the summer holidays, the course ropes on several lanes of the 25m pool are removed and you can swim freely. The museum is generally closed on Mondays except in July and August, but during the summer there are a few irregular days when the museum is closed due to tournaments, so we recommend checking the schedule on the website before going. Also, I think it's a pool classroom, but several lanes are often reserved depending on the time of day. And it's a pity that the parking lot has become chargeable at some point. I think it can't be helped as there seems to be a lot of illegal parking, but I think it's a shame that even though it's a public facility, you have to pay to use it. That point is the reason for ★-1.

Park
Okada Park is a favorite among children due to its fun play equipment and mikoshi-style design. The park offers well-equipped facilities including playground equipment, grounds, restrooms, drinking fountains, and hand-washing areas. In spring, the beautiful cherry blossoms add to the park's charm. Visitors can also enjoy nearby amenities such as a supermarket where they can purchase bento for a picnic.

I parked at a nearby coin parking lot and went there, but the slope was really tough. If you're going to build luxurious play equipment, I'd like you to add a parking lot as well.
