It is worth watching the rock and the scene of the lake from the top is beautiful if there is no fog. Toad rock is not maintained well, even people build a shop just beneath the toad rock which sells things that charges 50% more than MRP, also compromising the photographic scenery. People often come here to smoke and drink too.

We had a wonderful time at Toad Rock in Mount Abu. The weather was amazing during our visit – light rain and fog made the place even more beautiful and peaceful. The view of Nakki Lake from the top looked magical in that atmosphere. It was a truly enjoyable experience and a must-visit spot in Mount Abu.

Toad Rock is a unique frog-shaped rock near Nakki Lake, you have to do little trek for reaching here, maybe 250 to 300 steps. Steps hoing through greenery. The view from the top is stunning, especially when the weather is clear — perfect for photography. However, the spot is not well-maintained. Shops beneath the rock overcharge for items, and the place is sometimes misused by visitors, which can affect the experience.

Good place but one time only. Just a view of Abu Parvat and a toad shaped rock. Around 280 to 285 stairs to reach Toad Rock and condition of stairs are very bad and risky in rainy season. Else good to go.

It’s a nice place to visit if there’s a crowd around. Otherwise, it’s better to skip it, the 1-2 km trek through the forest can be a bit scary and there’s a risk of wild animals. That said, the spot offers a beautiful scenic view, the soothing sound of a waterfall, and birds chirping all around. Sharing a few pictures I clicked there.

A much better option as compared to sunset point in Mount Abu. The road towards this point was scenic and was neat and clean in compared to that dirty sunset point road. The entire point had multiple view points where you can spend hours without any disruption. The sunset view was amazing specially during winters and summers.

No tickets. But you will have to walk around 1 km from point where no vehicles allowed further. The view on the walk way to honeymoon point is awesome and peaceful.

The four stars I have given for the view nd the location ... Beautiful view at time of sunset ... But yaa rhe authority should allow two wheeler inside ...the walk can make you tired at once but the view sums it up all .... But when you want to return you feel exhausted nd there comes some riders with scooty or bike nd charge 100 rupees per person to live you at the point where you dropped your bike scooty or car ... That was the bad part I felt otherwise so beautiful

Sunset Point in Mount Abu offers a panoramic view of the valley and Aravalli range. You need to walk around 400–500 meters to reach the spot or you can take horse or man pushed hand carts. The sunset itself depends a lot on the weather—sometimes clear, sometimes hidden behind clouds. What spoils the experience is the high entry fee (₹150 for adults, ₹75 for students) which feels unjustified. The trail is not well maintained and is littered with horse poop, making the walk unpleasant. Could be a great place with better upkeep and fair pricing.

Nice place to end the day in Mount Abu. But the place is overly crowded as the place is small to accommodate lot of people. There are small cart type facility to take people to the sunset point. They charge ₹100 per person in 2025. However, we did not take them and could easily reach the view point. Ultimately you have to climb the stairs at the end to reach the view point. The place become dark soon after the sunset as there was no street light. So you better rush back to the junction point as soon as possible. Overall it was a nice experience before we checked into our hotel room.

Sunset Point, Mount Abu – Must Visit Spot! The walk to Sunset Point is around 1 km from the parking/start point. You can either enjoy the scenic walk or hire a horse (₹300) or a handcart (₹200) for convenience. At the top, there are multiple spots to enjoy the sunset view. I chose to go all the way up — totally worth it! The view was breathtaking, especially from the highest point. Even though I visited during the off-season, the place was still quite crowded, showing how popular it is. Beautiful skies, cool breeze, and scenic surroundings made it a perfect evening. There's a fee to get to the sunset spot. It's about 500 meters from the entrance, but you can hire a horse or trolley. Sometimes you might see a bear on the way. The view is amazing, totally worth it! They sell snacks up there – noodles, popcorn, corn, that sort of thing. Just heads up, no bathrooms though.

Old artifacts, weapons, jewellery along with statues are well preserved here. Museum is at walking distance from nakki lake, so if you are in mount abu give it a try. Adult Ticket is of 20₹

Okay... They aren't many artifacts ..but mostly sculptures and three inscription. Other than that some marble made artifacts.

No one noticed anything. The statue had fallen into the water. There was no one to take care of it. There was no one to take care of our history. There was only one man at the ticket counter.

Ticket price is cheap -20rs. Place maintained poorly. Inside the museum also it was dity and unorganised. It seemed like half of the objects were missing, and out of remaining more than half didn't had description on them. Won't miss out on anything if didn't go there.

The Universal Peace Center is a calm and spiritual place, though it’s currently under renovation and quite empty at the moment. Entry is free, and parking is available outside the main gate. Visitors are often given a short guided tour of the premises, including a brief lecture about the institution and its teachings in the grand meditation hall. You can also purchase books on spirituality and meditation from the center. Overall, it’s a peaceful spot for those interested in spiritual learning and inner calm, even though not all sections are operational right now.

A Spiritual Oasis Shankar Math is a serene Shiva temple nestled amidst Mount Abu’s lush Aravalli surroundings. It’s known for a striking 9.5 ft tall, self-manifesting Shiva Linga carved from a single piece of black stone with naturally appearing jata (hair) and third-eye features—cherished by devotees and believed to be bathed by rainwater during monsoons.

Just wow !! Amazing shivling!! I've never seen such a pretty shiv linga in my entire life! It’s a temple of Lord Shivam which has very unique history of shivling present here. The beautiful 9 feet tall Linga of Lord Shiva is here. When you visit this place then you will feel good and positive vibes will surround you. Nice,clean and green place. It was really great visiting this temple. This is one of the most famous tourist spots of mount abu. Photography is prohibited inside the temple.

According to legend, the name "Adhar" comes from the goddess's lips ("adhar") which are believed to have fallen at this site and the idol was originally found hanging in mid-air. The temple is considered very sacred and is especially busy during the nine days of Navratri, when devotees flock here for pilgrimage. The climb to the temple is symbolic, with 365 steps representing each day of the year!

Jai Mata Di Have been one of the most popular temples of Abu and nearby areas.

Good scenic place but u need to climb 330 steps to actually visit the goddess which is often really tough.So be prepared and determined for thus hurdle.

We had an amazing time at the campsite! The location was perfect, the food was top-notch, and the atmosphere was so pleasant. Not only was the camp clean, but the washroom was also spotless. The best part was definitely the helpful people who were always there when we needed them. If you're with a group, you're guaranteed to have a blast!

The best experience ever, if you're looking for something exciting yet peaceful then you must visit Mount Abu especially the host Praveen, he is an amazing guys with so much knowledge and enthusiasm. I had a 3 hr trekking with Mr Praveen at sterling resorts. he was very enthusiastic and nature lover abd extremely knowledgeable. liked very much his approach and will like to accompany him again when I will visit Mount abu again!

It's an average place with good views. It will look a star more in rainy season. Though the smell of lake makes it bad there but when you GoTo Mount Abu it's a must go place.

Great place. Scenic view is best. You can also spot some crocodiles. Also you can do some trekking. Route is also off-road type so make sure you have a capable vehicle. Monkeys are also there. Overall great place to spend some time!!

Peaceful place, need more sign boards cause it was hard to find it. But we did it. Look some photos though no crocodile just some ducks was hanging out. Try boating if you think you have stamina left in your body otherwise... A crocodile statue was there.

It's an overhyped Place. Very crowded.and they charge exorbitant price for a 30 mnts boat ride. I have paid 800 bucks for the ride, they done even have the clean safety jackets. All the jackets were filthy 🤢. But since I have purchased the tickets have to use them. And the boats condition was also not good.

Good experience of boating in Nakki lake. The boating charges are very high. They charge for lifesaver jackets. Some boats are very old and they should replace or maintain it. View from inside of boat is awesome in Abu. One should enjoy boating here.

Worst people and worst service.. First said 200 pp and with in 2 min said 300 pp.. Half and hour charge 200 pp life jacket 20 additional.. "tourist ko loot ne k liye bethe he.." Life jacket also not good all are worst condition.. Broken straps very old saftey is 0 wear at your own risk. They said of you dont wear so not allow to bored in boat.. Never see this kind of service before in boating..

The prices were a little high and you had to pay extra for the life jackets. The view was really great and you could see fishes in the water. I saw swans too, overall it was a quite fun expert.

Nakki lake is very beautiful place for boating.. the ticket pricing is expensive as compared to boating in lake picchola and fateh sagar in udaipur but the nakki lake is very vast to explore. The boat pricing is rs 800 onwards... best time is during sunset

I did a morning and an evening hike with Harsh. He is the best guide I have had in India. He explained the fauna very well and showed me some birds and traces of animals. He also told me stories about interesting Indian people. On the morning hike we saw a bear with her young child very closely. On the evening hike we watched sunset from a summit. Also he donates a part of his income to a school for disadvantaged children in Mount Abu I highly recommend these hikes!!!

Andy and his team are very kind hearted warm and amazing trek guides that took us to the best places around abu. They have alot of knowledge. The beauty of these valleys and mountains around the hill station is absolutely amazing. It’s untouched , dense and very rewarding as a wildlife enthusiast . We also saw the rare and beautiful bird Green that is only found in this part of India . Highly recommend.

It was my first time hiking, and I absolutely loved the experience! Traveling to a completely new state, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the team made me feel completely safe and comfortable from the start. They were well-organized, friendly, and made sure we enjoyed every bit of the trek. We had an amazing hike with Harsh, a very knowledgeable guide who really can tell you almost everything about local flora and fauna, the mountains and much more about Indian traditions and history. The walk with him was very balanced with some breaks to get a feel for the forest, the mountain and nature, we had quiet times to soak in the energy. Sadly we didn't see a sloth bear, but sure that's nature. We would highly recommend the guys from this company - they also support with a part of their income to a small local school. It was a fantastic time with Harsh. Thank you for this!

Initially we were very sceptical to do this trip or not, but after meeting Mr. Harsh Dana at the hotel lobby in the evening, we decided to go for the morning trek and we feel if we would not have done this, we would have missed a great chance to experience the forest. We took two trails on two consecutive days: 1) Craig's trek 2) Balley's trail Both me and my wife enjoyed both the walking trails, according to the fitness of the tourists, he normally chooses the trail and it was a very easy and smooth trail, we did little bit of rock climbing - 2-3 feet maybe and walked through the dense forests, where any moment a leopard or sloth bear would have appeared. We heard something, but could not see it, most probably a leopard killing a monkey. We say the poohs of both leopard and bear on the trail, signifying they were all around. Craig's trek, after all the trekking you are gifted with a magnificent view of the plains from over 5000 feet, it is so serene and peaceful, you won't be able to feel it unless you experience it yourself. We started the Bailey's trail from the Nikki lake side, so we captured the sunrise moments near the lake and unlike the Craig'r trek, here you get the breathtaking views throughout the trail. Mr. Dana was explaining us about the forest, also about the flora and fauna in these forest. Gave us bit of history and the culture, he is a nature lover and we were impressed by his passion. it is a highly recommended tour, which you must do, if you are in Mount Abu, since we did both the morning trips, can't comment if the trails are better in the evening or not. There are 21 such trails, so you can choose depending on your fitness and time in hand.

I had an awesome experience with Hiking and Trekking Company in Mount Abu. We did adventurous hikes, exploring caves, climbing rocks and trees, and watching stunning sunsets. Harsh and Anil took care of everything and made me feel comfortable all the time. Anil was very helpful, making sure each level hikers can overcome their fears, discover their strengths, and make them believe in themselves.  He is also very knowledgeable and funny and explained us a lot about the wildlife - different birds, plants and animals. I totally recommend them if you want to explore the nature in Mount Abu. Thank you Ji and milte hain!

He is a thorough naturalist and knows everything inside out about the trails he takes you on. He can take you to spots you never knew existed in Mt Abu. “I Love Mount Abu” is nothing but a beautiful Selfie Point located on the opposite side of market near Nakki Lake of Mount Abu. It is one of the most popular new beautiful tourist attractions to visit near Nakki Lake. On the right side of Gandhi Vatika there is a Nakki Zil Parikrama Path. It is a beautiful walkway to do a parikrama of Nakki Zil. From this walkway we can reach to the beautiful Selfie Point “I Love Mount Abu”. This place is also on the way to Honeymoon point or Suicide point. There's also a small garden here. Though the garden is small but it is very nice and relaxing. From this point we can see a perfect view and more beauty of the Nakki Lake and Toad Rock on the top. We enjoyed our visit to this wonderful place. You must visit this place with your friends and family while your visit to Nakki Lake, you will definitely like it. It is a perfect spot for photography where you can capture beautiful memories.

1. Visited this place on a rainy day. I suggest you start from Main Market Nakki Lake - Toad Rock - This place & finally complete a parikrama of Nakki Lake. 2. You can have some good photos here for your social media accounts. Besides this there is nothing to see here.

Best place to visit with family.& Also for couples. You can enjoy the view of mountains 🏔️ & ghat roads . The best time to visit in the rainy season or after the rainy season . Very crowded in public holidays & weekends and the hotels & bike rentals prices are very hipe so on normal days prices are ok. The chipset rooms starting from 1000/- only you can also prefer a personal property room for staying there. Best for mountain lovers 🤩

I love MT. ( Mount ) ABU. One must visit this place to take selfies and capture all memories of visiting ABU. We forget to take selfies in night as it looks full of light in Night as well. It is a representation of ABU. You can get whole view of Nakki Lake from this place. Visit this place before it becomes chargeable. 😄

This is a wonderful place , The view here is very fantastic and There is a lot of🌸 flower pot here and the view of the lake from here is amazing , I LOVE M.T ABU ♥️ See a different view of its light from a distance. We all enjoyed ourselves.

This place is on the way to Honeymoon point or Suicide point. A must visit place for the photogenic people. There's also a garden here. You will find the more beauty of Nakki lake from here. Warning for the photogenic people , Don't try to make stunt here. The beauty of this place can be seen in Rainy season. You can see my pictures attached with thus review.

This is just a point on the way to Toad Rock climb, nothing much to see here. One can visit it on their way to toad rock.

If you get a chance, please do visit this and spend some time there, ideally meditating inside taking the permission of the Panditji. Swami Vivekananda's vibes are present here! The Panditji is very knowledgeable and talks in a language you and me can understand. I had a gripping conversation as I say outside the temple. He was kind enough to provide to me some Asana. Looking at us talking, a few more tourists came and sat besides.

This cave has a historic significance as Swami Vivekananda meditated here. I wish the local authorities clean this up and make this a place for tourists to worship instead of keeping it locked

Administration should be strict to maintain such history places where swami ji spend time for medication... Even though the stairs are not as much good as sunset point still people who has interest in such historic places they loved to visited and spend some quality time over there...

Mount Abu has a great outdoors to experience. The real beauty lies in the nature when you visit a view point, caves, jungle and water streams within the wild limit of Abu. Himanshu and his team shared a great experience with me and my friends. It made our trip memorable.

We were searching for a small easy mountain trek at mount Abu. Google suggested us Himanshu and team. Their response was quick, even on Sunday. Craig s trail was advised to us. Trail is super scenic with greenery all around. They have a deep knowledge of flora and fauna. My daughter was constantly engaged by them. Summit was easy to achieve and was marvellous. Fantastic photos were taken by Himanshu and Jitu. I strongly recommend their team for any trek at Mount Abu.

Hiking in Mount Abu wad a very different experience. Being a native of Udaipur, Mt. Abu is a very frequent destination for us. While trekking in Jungle we find this time Abu as a totally new new place for us. Himanshu shared a great deal of local information. His team is very profecient and takes activities quite well.

I experienced Mount Abu in a totally different way this time. At a point u see Deep valleys... On other hand high Rocky mountains.... Dense forest and creeping birds... Pure nature can be felt. Thanks to my guide Himanshu sir and his team.

Visit to Mount Abu without a Eco Adventure tour is incomplete. Take a jungle trekking and feel the diference feel the nature. Relaxation is a natural when you got to see the caves,varity of birds creeping in the morning is amazing. We were lucky enough to sight a wild bear thats also twice on single trek. I beleive Himanshu has enough expertse for Mount Abu forest and the wild life that takes shelter within.Experience is value for time & money.

But that beauty is being eroded fast by a staggering lack of preservation and civic responsibility. What should be a protected, revered hill station feels like a dumping ground. Garbage is everywhere: plastic bottles, wrappers, food waste—all strewn across natural trails, viewpoints, even near waterfalls. I’ve attached photos that speak louder than words. They’re not isolated incidents—they’re the norm. Worse still is the shocking frequency of public urination: on roads, rocks, heritage sites, even spots meant for serenity. The infrastructure to maintain cleanliness is either insufficient or entirely absent. No visible public restrooms, no enforcement of hygiene rules, no evident waste collection mechanisms. 📸 A Deteriorating Tourist Experience Even something as simple as sipping chai or taking a photo is frequently interrupted by beggars aggressively approaching tourists. While poverty is a serious concern and deserves empathy, what’s happening here feels coordinated, unchecked, and exploitative. It creates discomfort, tarnishes the experience, and signals a complete breakdown of regulation in public spaces. There’s no sign of social services or local governance addressing the issue—not visibly, at least. 🗣️ Why this matters Tourism may hype up the charm, but without accountability, all that PR is hollow. The image of “Incredible India” must go beyond promotional campaigns—it should reflect real commitment to public infrastructure, environmental care, and civic discipline. 📢 My appeal to the authorities • Install and maintain waste disposal bins at key tourist and religious spots • Enforce anti-littering and anti-public urination laws with visible signage and fines • Ensure adequate restrooms and facilities are accessible, clean, and maintained • Launch awareness drives targeting tourists and locals to preserve Mount Abu’s heritage • Address aggressive begging with proper rehabilitation programs, regulation, and visible local administration presence Mount Abu is stunning—but the experience is suffering. If the government truly wants to make India’s heritage shine, it must start by listening, cleaning, and enforcing.

Truly speaking avoid to visit on holidays this place was jam packed when I visited on 15th august 2025.Overall this place is very beautiful and one should must visit once.
