Exposition is quite interesting however the stuff is closing museum at 18:30 not at 19 so I lost 30 min from of my sightseeing. Workers are not friendly looks like they don't like visitors.

A school parade was on close by, the patriotic music loud and the flags, held by each of the school kids, fluttering in the wind. A lovely backdrop on an excellent museum. The museum is new and expansive that takes the tourist through Belarus in the Second World War. There is everything from dioramas to weapons and even a few tanks. All material is in English and very extensive at that. The addition of an exhibit about “the raping of nanjing”, the Japanese army’s cruelty inflicted on the Japanese was brutal and fascinating.

Amazing museum, so many stories and so many items. My eyes were watering. It really captures the struggle and sacrifice of the people of former Soviet Union against the Nazis, and why their descendants will never forget or put up with nazism ever again.

Famous and biggest library in Bilarussia. We visit it today 28th/08/2019 very nice place.

The observation deck entrance is at the back side of the building. Paid some fee, climbed the lift. The deck is overlooking the city of Minsk. Very beautiful view from here. There's a cafe and rooms for art exhibition. At night, we waited to see the light spectacle. Beautiful illumination. It's worth the wait.

I'll just make comments on the observation deck. It's one of the tallest buildings in Minsk, but you probably seen taller. Anyway, the main problem is, the deck is surrounded with dirty and imperfect glasses which distort the vision. It doesn't make any sense since the only purpose of this place is presenting a good view. Also binoculars are very old and not giving a clear view. If you're planing to drop by, you better keep your expectations low.

The Opera Building is amazing! I loved the awesome chandeliers everywhere and the marble. The play of swan lake was also absolutely impressive. I’m very grateful that I could be there!

Very small [in its sizes - both inside and outside] for such a significant and culturally important place. But there are very beautiful interiors and facade. It is also the single opera&ballet theatre in Belarus...

It was simply great! We had seats in the balcony zone, but the view was nice, the seats themselves were comfortable. The performance, and we attended a ballet performance, was fantastic, with bright costumes and good choreography.

Fantastic permanent collection spanning across many centuries. Highly recommend visiting when in Minsk. On par with a lot of European art museums.

Great museum in a lovely palace. Lots of paintings and soviet art from the most talented artists such as Shishkin and Alvazovsky. There are also works from european artists. Really a good experience.

A wonderful place to go to see some current exhibits. When I went, they had a new exhibit on the color red and how it relates to the Belarusian people. I found it interesting and the descriptions were well written. I have been several times and will continue to go back when they implement more exhibits as the rest of the museum doesn't change.

It wasn’t the food that inspired me on this short trip to Minsk, it was the artworks of one 19th century landscape painter, Ivan Aivazovsky. His piece “Night at Rodos Island” is sublime. The art works in this large gallery are expansive in period range and scale. There was an exhibit on horses and horse related art works that I found fascinating.

Compared to similar museums in other countries this is not a very big one, but it holds an excellent exhibition (mostly of paintings and some sculptures) by some great artists. The entry costs only 6byn, so there is no reason of thinking it too much. It really worths a visit.

Great park on the embankment of river Svislach. Actually it is a dense forest which makes you feel like being miles away from a big city. If you are looking for activities or shops, you won't find many. But if you want to walk and relax, this is the ideal place! It worths a visit!

Ещё, зоопарк можно подержать покупкой одной из ящерок которых они разводят или просто денежными средствами, и это показывает что работникам мне всё равно на проживающих в зоопарке животных. У всех животных всегда есть еда и вода, и ни одна из них не выглядит несчастным. Семьями с детьми в Минском зоопарке понравится, в парке нет мест где ребёнок может случайно пораниться или упасть в воду. В целом, после ремонта зоопарк стал выглядеть намного лучше, а животные не содержится в одном вольере огромными стаями. Также таблички с информацией очень полезны и информативны. Went here with my sister on a tuesday. The owner is very nice and speaks english very well so it's tourist accessible. The entrance fee is only 15 рублей(approx. <5 euro) and it comes with free tea and water. The place is on the 3rd floot of an apartment next to a few cafès which makes it a perfect place to visit even if for as little as 20 minutes on the go. The cats are all healthy, well maintained and not aggressive, they told us that they are rescued feral cats, you can adopt them if you want to. The place is very well decorated and well maintained too, there is not as much smell as we anticipated at all. The space is not very big, but it's cozy, there's an area dedicated to making drawings for kids. There's also Johnny (a small dog). Overall a nice place to visit, will visit again if i ever come back to Belarus.

The water park was clean and had many water slides. The park has an indoor part and outdoor part . The indoor part has heaters and is huge and has around 8 slides and many pools , spa , jacuzzi, restaurant, toilets , surfing area . The indoor water slides were not much fun for me because they were to safe to be scared. The outdoor water slides seem to be better because they are very fast. However the outdoor part of the park is open only when the weather is above 25*c which is a rare thing to happen in minsk

Came here twice only for their saunas. There are 7 saunas, an ice-cold water tub, and a small pool to lounge in. It's a fantastic place to spend about an hour or so in. We went there early September. Flower beds at the entry are a bit of a disappointment but it gets better as you go further. Good selection of roses. Also don't look mature enough to have a good display. Make sure you have visited a toilet BEFORE as we have only seen portaloos inside that park that I won't let my 7yo anywhere near! Still giving it 4* as there were beautiful places to see.

The best time to visit is morning. Free access to the orangery. Large park and a lake. Must see place in Minsk for just 4$ ticket cost (at the entrance you could pay by cash or a credit card).

Large market hall. Fascinating place to visit, watching so many people go about their day to day lives.

Traditional Soviet style indoor market with a large variety of meat, cheese, bread (including Central Asian breads), cakes and honey. Buy a small honeycomb bar from here and munch on it for a really tasty honey oozing experience. Lots of fruit and vegetable stalls outside.

My loved showed me Minsk and she brought me here and we bought lean, fish and cookies. Ate lunch and enjoyed the smells and Belarusian vibe and I can only describe this as "move fast or get ran over even by a 70 year old lady!

My favorite market in Minsk. Anything from fresh fruit and vegetables to cheese spices bread and cookies. A lot of products you won't find in regular supermarkets.

Huge market in the middle of the city. Fascinating architecture with no pillars at all. Stalls for fresh meat and cheese in the lower level whole there are other stores (like sweets/pastries) up top.

I wouldn’t recommend for international/non-Russian speaking visitors unless you are in a big group (apparently), otherwise you’re walking around the place without really understanding what’s going on. Two stars for the beer that is included at the end of the excursion, but only one type and no real “tasting” and comparing experience.

Not a good experience of the beers of this famous brewery. We were offered a sweetish lager and then an even sweeter raspberry beer licensed from Kronenbourg. If I did want to drink a sweet beer I wouldn't even do that in France. Why not give a small volume selection of 6 or 7 beers of the best this brewery has to offer based on Belarusian beers? And you can't even buy the beers. Why not have a special edition beer to buy at the excursion? Also no snacks were offered not even for purchase. Just seems like they are not trying. Nice place, must visit. The show is amazing, brings tons of positive emotions both to edults and kids. Nice compilation of music, touching words about dolphins (the show is in Russian of course) and great skilled animals make the show unforgettable. The show takes place 3 times a day, the entrance ticket includes access to the zoo. We all had positive experience, the only thing I would like to mention is very loud music. By the end of the performance my son had a headache and was closing his ears.

Amazing dolphin and seal show. The soviet looking building and the way they try to squeeze more money out of you when the show is about to start make you feel a bit sad. But once they get the show going it is amazing from start to finish. The animals look cute and know many tricks. Even combined ones where the animals work together which I have never seen before. The more impressive letting dolphins propel humans forward trick is more known. Since the building is rather small you sit really close to the animals. And they even walk around with the seals so if you decide to extend your arm you could even touch them (even though you are not allowed obviously). Just watch out in winter since sitting in the front two rows will get you soaked. Absolutely amazing value compared to other dolfinariums I've seen.

Yesterday, 30/05/2025, I had the pleasure of exploring Museum Strana Mini in Minsk—a true gem showcasing the rich history and architectural beauty of Belarus in miniature. Every detail, every exhibit reflects the passion and dedication of the talented creators behind this masterpiece. A huge thank you to the team for their incredible work in preserving and presenting Belarusian heritage in such a captivating way! If you're ever in Minsk, this is a must-visit!

Great place for tourists. One can see miniatures some of the main sights of Belarus. An audio guide will tell you about all of them. I strongly recommend visiting the museum. It will be interesting to children and grownups as well. By the way some maquettes have figured of fairytale or movie characters🧚‍♀️ There is also a VR helmet where you can look at sights in their current state (but I felt a bit dizzy after it).

A waste of money. The exhibition is very small, with few items on display, and their quality is extremely poor — it felt like little care or effort went into their creation. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I had in Belarus.

I really enjoyed going to see the museum on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't too busy and I got to spend a lot of time looking at the really detailed models (19 total). The models themselves are so intricate and they move and have a light show. An audio guide available in English is included in the price of the ticket and it's super cool to see and learn about sites that you can later see in person. Also the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

If you want to be inspired to travel across Belarus, this is a great starting point! The staff is very friendly, I loved the exposition and audio tour, and there is also a nice souvenir shop.

It is located out of Minsk, but you can go by Uber from Malinovka metro station (the last one on the blue line) and it's going to cost you around 6 roubles. The only issue if you go by Uber, is that on the way back you cannot order an Uber, because you can only order Uber in Minsk. Anyway, there is a bus station nearby that you can use to get back to the city. The museum is very interesting, it's like an old town and you can enter every house and explore how people many years ago live. I recommend it as a family trip on a beautiful weekend day.

Its a bit away from the city and few buses go there (totally doable but might have to wait a while till the bus comes). The place is beautiful and much to see. Its not a loop walk so it takes couple hrs to walk all the way to the end, and come back to the entrance. Bring water and stacks so you can take a break in between ;) Condition of buildings and houses were very good!

One of the greatest places in Belarus if you want to dive deeper into a local culture. There are a lot of festivals and exhibition s in summer. Recommended to visit.

The entrance is quite expensive, for a museum. But there are a lot of activities inside. All the houses and household items that you will see are authentic, all saved from a time long ago. The museum workers/curators offer a comprehensive experience by dressing up in costumes from centuries ago, telling stories and also sometimes carrying out local traditions (particularly on old pagan holidays) These people also tend to the gardens and fields there. You will find a couple of churches with unique depictions and artifacts. Overall, a day well spent.
