Museum
The Musée National de la Marine in Toulon, located on the French Riviera, offers a glimpse into French naval history from the 17th century to the present day. Housed in the arsenal gatehouse, it showcases a unique collection of boat models including vessels and galleys. The museum's splendid 18th-century monumental gate marks its entrance and presents paintings, sculptures, and relief plans that evoke maritime life in Toulon during the 18th century.
It is such a beautiful place. it holds the Toulon ports history and so many wonderful ship models. it was free for students under 25 and the experience is wonderful. I learned a lot about significance of Toulon and its role in World war 2. Such a heroic journey by the french navy. The staff is also very sweet and the souvenir shop is really good.

Beautiful museum with that holds great stories that took place in Toulon. Would come again, but would bring a fan just in case.
[SYSTEM101] — Google review
It was very nice. There is a lot of information. The staff were wonderful and helpful. I used the audio phones which was nice but the verbiage is repetitive and numbers don't match all the displays. Headsets would be better than holding a phone up to your ear. It was vey warm in the museum.
Kathi K — Google review
At Musée National de la Marine it’s really interesting. The atmosphere seems to transport you to other times — you feel the spirit of sea adventures. Many cool exhibits and everything is done so that you don’t get bored. A great place for a walk and new impressions!
Ольга О — Google review
What a cool museum! Kids under 18 free of charge, adults 6.50€ each. Set over two floors of lots of information on the Marine and Naval history of Toulon. Very informative and the kids enjoyed listening to the free English audio guides to the stories behind the paintings, model boats/ships and buildings. Not a large museum, we spent 1.5 hours there. Toilets and gift shop at the entrance.
Charlene E — Google review
Great visit, amazing museum with very interesting and practical display of information: ships, sea, fishing etc. ; the exhibition "En solitaire autour du monde" was so interesting, showcasing the competion "Vendee Globe" - one sailor, one boat, four oceans. Also has a restaurnat with Eiffel Tower view...overall, a must visit in Trocadéro!
Ioan P — Google review
Very small but cosy marine museum that attracts with an art of the ships modeling, deep history and a modern warfare. The mystery of the wooden ships development ends up with a high-end nuclear technology, the outcome of the ships evolution can be spotted behind the window in the military port. There are no interactive exhibits that could attract kids before the certain age. After visiting a museum, tickets can be used to get a discount to have a boat trip around the warship facilities and see the history with own eyes.

History Museums
Mémorial du Débarquement et de la Libération en Provence is a museum located on Mont Faron, overlooking Toulon, dedicated to commemorating the Allied landing of August 1944 and honoring the liberation of Provence. The museum houses an extensive collection of period objects and offers reenactments of operations and battlefields through maps, models, and photographs.
A hair rasing ride to the top of the mtn was definitely worth it....but it was a skinny road. Great views of the city and the harbor! Museum was very narrow at points but very interesting, mostly in French...it is a French museum though..., but it did have a fair amount of English, interesting info on the French resistanc as well. Also learned a lot about Operation Dragoon.
Nick E — Google review
The most fabulous museum with the best views of Toulon from the terrace which would be worth the (small) entrance fee alone. Such an informative exhibition- the film near the end is simplt stunning. Bravo 🥰
Claire S — Google review
A fantastic little museum telling a fascinating lesser known story from ww2. The museum is flanked by an M4a1 (76) sherman, a 7.5cm german pak 38 AT gun and a 90mm AA gun. Inside a range of exhibits and plenty of information tell the story and help you to understand truly why the memorial is there.
Neon F — Google review
Great museum with grand views of Toulon from its terrace! Would come again.
[SYSTEM101] — Google review
A really important memorial and museum to what is, for many British history buffs, a woefully under-studied campaign to capture the south of France, Operation Dragoon. Beautifully laid out with french and English explanations throughout, the visitor really benefits from learning about the background and build up right up to the operation itself with all aspects, including the prelim commando raids on the îles d'Hyere, the British/American Operation Rugby parachute landings and the beach assaults themselves. There is also copious detail on the very stubborn combat by French forces to retake Toulon itself and other 'Festungs' along that coast. The panoramic screen layout for the operation landings themselves is one of the best I've seen. Overall a very worthwhile museum/memorial visit to a campaign that deserves to be better known (it was, to an extent, a victim of its own success and flawlessness in terms of notoriety). My only complaint is that the gift shop is genuinely non-existent, and it would be relatively easy to make some memorabilia marked with Operation Dragoon. The Musee d'Marine down in Toulon city near the harbour manages to do this, so would recommend the management take note from them.
Adam K — Google review
Really beautiful place. You can return in the past and understand how and what was that suffering days of our comrades during the war. Very well explained and maintained. Perfect to have a walk around.
Aderito M — Google review
The experience gives you the best views of the surrounding areas of Toulon, on a bright day, it’s easy to see as far as Marseille. The mini museum gives good insight and the experience it self is fairly in expensive, would recommend to any tourist visiting the mountain

Parking was quite difficult! Suggest early visit as places limited. Enjoyable cable car ride to top. Museum well thought out and informative

Stadium
Sports activity location
Stade Mayol, also known as Mayol Stadium, is a renowned sports venue in Toulon, France. It has a seating capacity of up to 14,700 spectators and serves as the home ground for the popular Toulon rugby union club. Rugby enthusiasts from all over are drawn to this stadium due to Toulon's impressive track record in the sport, having secured numerous national titles and three championship wins in the Top 14 European Cup.
Came to watch Quins play the mighty Toulon. What a great stadium. Most stadiums these days are out on ring roads. This is right in the centre of town two minutes from all the bars and restaurants in the port. Those lucky enough to have flats above the southen stand seemed to be having parties with fans on the balconies. The mountains behind and the sea air make this an epic gladiatorial theatre of rugby dreams. We designed and super friendly. I loved this place and thought it was fantastic.

Just happened to be in Toulon and they were playing Oyannax. Was able to easily get a ticket. Reasonably priced, as too were the refreshments. Great atmosphere and local support which continued in and around the watering holes outside the stadium.

Stuart M — Google review
Good stadium to watch a match in. The concession stands are an utter joke though. They need more of them and more staff at each one. Getting a pint prematch was a massive mission
Dan C — Google review
One of the many exciting places to visit when in Toulon will be when you attend a rugby march of TRC TOULON RUGBY CLUB. Some of the worlds best rugby hero's like Mathieu Bastareud, All Black outside centre Malakai Fekitoa, Kiwi inside centre Ma'a Nonu, Left wing Semi Radradra and right wing Josua Tuisova from Fiji, Top 14 TRY SCORER Chris Ashton and a fire wall of Sringboks like Duane Vermeulen, Bryan Habana, Juandré Krüger, JP Pietersen, Marcel van der Merwe are all performing here every 2nd Saturday of the month. Stade Mayol is next to the Port where you find a multitude of restaurants bordering the port. So get up early to strole through the small ancient streets before you hitting one of the restaurants before the game.

Only beach we had to came back again. Nice water, good lookouts and very save for children etc.

It is a very pretty place. full of picnic vibes. but it is overcrowded with so many families around.
Madhushree S — Google review
It's a OK beach with nice sand and water but it's a bit meh. It is small, not much "life", has some restaurants but not many (no food trucks), bathrooms are paid and the self cleaning function was of order the day we went so ugh... All said if you want to set up and swim for a while especially with kids it is good for that.
Neil T — Google review
Beautiful local beach with all needed facilities as WC, restaurants, playground, soccer field and streetlight at night. It is save and clean with clear water. We enjoyed swimming till late in the evening.
Remco M — Google review
Nice beach 🏖️, it's not far away from the center, you need a bus to go there if you don't have a car. Sometimes it's crowded which depends on the time you go, unfortunately, there are limited cafes and restaurants. So, you should bring your food with you to rest and enjoy 😊

The Musée des Arts Asiatiques, also known as the Museum of Asian Art, is situated in Toulon, France. Housed in the Villa Jules Verne since 2001, this museum showcases a diverse collection of Asian art and artifacts. The exhibits include acquisitions from southeast Asia, Japan, India, and Tibet brought back by sailors and explorers over generations.
One of the most interesting museums in Nice: it has a small but high quality collection in ancient Oriental art, it is located in a beautiful modern building (with airco !), and has occasional exhibitions, which are sometimes truly spectacular, like the current world-class exhibition of jade art from the Myers Collection (untill September 19, 2021). And unbelievably it’s free !
Migchel M — Google review
Beautiful museum with wide collection of Asian art. All information is in French. Not too many people. Entrance 11,50 Euros.
Natalia D — Google review
Visit this beautiful museum, located inside a house, called Villa Jules Warren. The villa was purchased in 1905 by the wife of Michelle Warren, son of famous author Jules Warren. The son set up a film production company named after his father, and directed several films based on his books. The Nazis expropriated the house in 1942. After the war, Warren sold the house, which became a hotel and restaurant. In the 1970s, the place became an Asian Art Museum in Toulon, where you can see art exhibits from China, Japan, India, Mongolia and Tibet. Opening hours: Tuesdays to Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m. How long should you visit? Between half an hour and an hour.

La tour royal in Toulon is a personal experience in the 50s when I lived next door to it. The basements were like a museum where amazing things were collected from previous wars. I remember an enormous canon chinois so big, how did it got there? Also many classical concerts would be performed..

Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
Nestled high above the vibrant port city of Toulon, Zoo Fauverie Du Mont Faron offers an extraordinary wildlife experience that beautifully blends nature with conservation. This unique sanctuary is dedicated to breeding and caring for a variety of big cats, including tigers, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Visitors can also encounter fascinating creatures like wolves, hyenas, bears, and even playful monkeys in a setting that emphasizes education and awareness about endangered species.
Lovelly quaint zoo. You can see the animals so well and near. The animals look very well kept. The lion look gorgeous. Very interesting as well that it is located on the top of Mont Faron. Big forests and with a spectacular view over Toulon.
Carlotta T — Google review
The story behind the zoo is really beautiful and shows that the keepers of this zoo have a big heart for animals. Almost all the animals here are feline. The animals look very well taken care of. There is also a lot of info about the animals so it’s not only nice to see but also educational. Some enclosures however seem a little to small and could use some modernization. But they seem to have a lot of toys to play with and they all had fresh (some even streaming) water in there enclosure. Overall the animals looked very happy. I would go again if i’m ever in the neighborhood again. (Especially for cute little retired Yvonne the raccoon)
Karen D — Google review
They keep good carers of the animals it was clean and fun place to wisit. Go before feeding time 15:00 it get really grounded at 14:00 lot of kids come that time cos they let kid help whit the feeding
Pyry K — Google review
Tough ride to get there and in the zoonot really enjoyable ride if you have small kids that require a buggy. It's very steep and lots of holes in the ways. Yes, very small zool - we were done in <30min, and we spent a lot of time with each animal we saw (we saw 7, including the donkey and goat). The cages seemed indeed small, and everything looked very ramped down (fences were taped with wire that they still hold 😂😂). It's definitely not worth the ride, but maybe we are just used to different experiences when it comes to zoos... On the positive note, they started to refurbish a lot of cages. All the best for the future to the team that was nice and especially the animals.
David — Google review
The cages are so tiny that I felt bad for the animals. The zoo is also in a very poor condition, but they are busy renovating right now. It took us only 20 minutes to look at everything, so 12.50 for a ticket was quite expensive. I regret my visit.
Calypso — Google review
Nice little zoo, but life seems to be boring for these cats. Also, lots of empty cages. But still, nice visit
Bern M — Google review
Fantastic zoo! Staff are really passionate and are clearly doing a great job caring for these animals. It’s important to visit as the money spent on the tickets will improvise their facility and make enclosures even better. Had a great visit!
Alex C — Google review
Fun for an hour and a half. It is very tired and is in desperate need of investment in everything. To be positive, the animals appear in good condition and well looked after. None of them looked insane like the polar bear at Glasgow zoo. My daughter enjoyed herself. The picnic tables have a great view. April 2022..back again. We had a good time. All the cats were awake and moving about.

Additionally, it features outdoor green areas for visitors to enjoy.
The staff here are very friendly. The South African lady is a hoot. Very nicely organised with interesting exhibitions. The taxidermy is top notch.

Nice little free natural history museum but wouldn’t recommend if going with very small children, as they won’t have the freedom to move around. We walked in with our toddler who was very excited to see dinosaurs, and were told in the entrance he could only come in if he held my hand. As my toddler is very curious and is used to exploring museums at his own pace, unrestrained, it felt too restrictive for him and not very fun. If going with very small children I would recommend instead staying outside as the museum playground is very nice, especially the water feature.

Hotel des Arts, also known as the Mediterranean Center of Art, is a contemporary art space located in Toulon. It was established by the General Council of Var with the aim of showcasing art from the 20th century to the present day. The center focuses on painting, sculpture, and photography while also embracing the latest forms of Contemporary Art.
Very instagramable collection of modern & contemporary art. Pretty cool with moments that made me look at furniture and art differently. It’s free, too
Jan K — Google review
The visit is free, so no reasons to complain. This museum has no masterpieces, neither unmissable new discoveries, nevertheless it’s worth a visit because art is always wonderful and interesting in all its expressions. The visit is very short as the exposition is really minuscule. Three rooms and you are done in 30 minutes maximum. The building itself is nice. Shame that there is not a café there because the garden and the space are really pleasant. The staff was super helpful. They have free lockers to leave your luggage while you visit. The museum is very close to the train station. If you have some free time, visit this museum.

The Jardin Remarquable de Baudouvin is a stunning garden that has been meticulously maintained to showcase its historical significance. The beautiful alley lined with magnificent trees leads visitors to an old bastide, while the gardens themselves are being reorganized in accordance with traditional practices. The unique irrigation system, which utilizes a natural water source, adds to the charm of this peaceful oasis located not far from the bustling towns of La Valette and Toulon.

Came across this park by chance. You start by the beautifull alley bordered by somptious trees that lead up to an old bastide. The gardens are being reorganised and plantations are organised in compliance with the sessions. There's a unique irrigation system put into place, as the elders used to do, making the most of a naturel source. There is harmony and place here, not far from the busy ton of La Valette and Toulon. A beautiful pièce of art working with Mother Nature.

La Tour Royale in Toulon is a historic monument dating back to the 16th century, situated on the Mediterranean coast. Accessible via a footbridge, it offers stunning views of the harbor and hills. The fortress is surrounded by 3.5 hectares of charming grounds, perfect for picnics and leisure activities. Visitors can also explore the ship graveyard and mussel farms nearby. The tranquil atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for contemplation or enjoying recreational activities during the day.
Cool park to take your kids or to picnic in. It gets crowded in summer though. Good calm spot for joggers and fishermen. Word of warning: the public toilets can get very dirty so parents should check them out before giving junior the green light. In July and August the old fort is open to the public and although it's an interesting ten minute distraction some may not wish to pay the €2 entry fee. Free entry for kids under 6. Some decent photo opportunities nonetheless. There's also a tiny sandy beach which is probably the reason why the parking area is always full in summer. A lifeguard is in place for most of summer and there's a pebble beach and pedestrian access to the other beaches along the coast but access may depend on sea conditions.

The Téléphérique du Mont Faron is an exhilarating cable car experience that takes you soaring to a height of 584 meters, offering stunning views of Toulon and the Mediterranean coastline. This modernized attraction features spacious cabins with large windows and even glass floors for an unforgettable ride. The ascent lasts just under six minutes, making it a quick yet breathtaking journey.
We visited during the shoulder season and practically had the place to ourselves — no lines at all, which made the experience even better. The staff was incredibly friendly and informative, taking the time to explain the route and sights. The ride up offers beautiful views of Toulon and the coastline. We didn’t spend a ton of time at the top since we were just passing through, but we enjoyed walking around the war memorial and taking in the scenery. Watching rock climbers scaling the cliffs was a nice surprise. Definitely worth the ride if you’re in the area — I imagine it gets crowded in peak season, but we loved the peaceful experience.
Kelly B — Google review
Nice mountain to catch a bird's eye view of Toulon. Despite the overcast sky, the views were great. The queue to the cable car was rather long... took us about 2 hours to get to our turn cos there as a short lunch break for the operators. Everyone was patient though. It is best to allocate half a day for this sightseeing as the journey itself takes time. There are places of interest at the top and this could easily take a couple of hours if you want to enjoy the moment.
Dorge R — Google review
We were here early, as the queues grow fast. I would recommend coming early. Especially in a warm / hot day. Cables are smooth and fast to climb or return down mountain. Beautiful views from cable car, and amazing at the top looking down onto Toulon. Highly recommended.
Stuarty B — Google review
A cool spot! I went on Saturday, and there were absolutely no lines or crowds. The whole visit from beginning to end took about an hour, since both the war museum/memorial at the top and the restaurant were closed so wasn’t sure what else to do in there rather than to admire the view. But the ride itself was magnificent, and the scenery truly left me in awe. I also walked all the way from the city centre - it’s a bit uphill, but overall a good walk (about 2 km), very doable.
Jevgenia V — Google review
Visited Toulon via cruise ship voyager and if you choose to do anything in Toulon make this your priority! It was a 30 minute walk from the port to cable car, €9 for a return trip, the views of Toulon are absolutely stunning, if you enjoy hiking there are numerous trails from the top, we simply took the trip and soaked in the panorama on a beautiful day.

The Mountain Above the Sea – Mont Faron Rising high above the harbor city of Toulon, Mont Faron isn’t just a mountain — it’s a silent guardian that has watched over the Mediterranean for centuries. But getting to its summit isn’t a climb — it’s a glide. A bright red cable car swings gently above the rooftops and trees, lifting visitors from the busy streets to the sky. As the city shrinks below, and the sea stretches wide in every direction, the journey itself feels like a moment suspended in time. At the top, Mont Faron offers more than breathtaking views. It's a place of history, with a memorial to the Allied landings in Provence during World War II — a reminder that even the most peaceful places have witnessed moments of courage and conflict. But perhaps the real magic lies in standing still at the summit, watching the sun paint golden paths on the water below, and feeling for a moment like you're on top of the world — with all of Toulon quietly at your feet.
Mikko N — Google review
This is a fantastic value. Great views, friendly staff, and many hiking paths to explore at the summit including a zoo, chapel, and restaurant. Plus you can buy the bus and cable car pass as a combination for only 10euro. The bus drops right at the entrance with no connections required

It is bordered by the Toulon-Provence-Méditerranée metropolitan area and includes the towns of Toulon, La Seyne-sur-Mer, and Saint-Mandrier-sur-Mer. Used since antiquity by Greek and then Roman ships, it now houses the civilian and military port of Toulon. It is surrounded by several protective forts, such as the Fort of Six-Fours, still in use, as well as several others like the Fort of Balaguier, now decommissioned and constituting an important part of the military heritage. History Military confrontations, shipwrecks, and scuttling edit The harbor and its surrounding areas have been the scene of military clashes between France and various belligerents throughout the centuries. Notable battles include the Battle of Cap Sicié in 1744, the Siege of Toulon in 1793, and the Battle of the Hyères Islands in 1795. The harbor has also been the site of shipwrecks, such as that of La Lune, returning from a military expedition to North Africa in 1644, which resulted in the deaths of over 700 sailors and soldiers. It was also the location for the scuttling of the French fleet in November 1942, to prevent it from falling into German hands. Me and my wife we decided to go out and enjoy a beautiful view, the Toulon lights, the boats, the water and (maybe) 😉 a good wine, and this place was exactly what we were looking for. Attention, we were not inside the fort, but outside, in the small park ! We had a really good time just the two of us. Outdoor Activities
The beach of Anse de Magaud is a small, pebble-filled beach located in the heart of the island. The clear water and beautiful cliffs make it one of the most popular beaches on the island. While the beach is not ideal for toddlers as there is a drop in the water, it's perfect for swimming, diving, and enjoying a day with friends. There is limited parking available but it's possible to find spaces along the street.
Parking is 10 minutes walk away but it is well worth to venture to this plage at Toulon, it is a bet steep on the way back, crystal clear water, quiet beach, you need to take parasol for shade because there is not a lot of trees, there is no shops to buy any food so if you go for a whole day it is better to prepare with some food or get something at the Boulangerie on the main road where you need to park the car...
Tamás O — Google review
Very beautiful beach, small and crowded in high season. Walk to the beach smooth but steep. Water is very clear. We enjoyed it.

My favourite beach in Toulon! Good for snorkeling.
Irina U — Google review
Lovely beach, clear water. Because a bit enclosed, the waves aren't big. Has one tiny shop there, mostly ice-cream what you can buy. Restaurant there too, but only opens at 19:30 and looking the menu, I think the prices a bit high. The downside, the parking. Not too many spaces around, and if you not arrive early, will be difficult to find space. From the car there's a good 8-10 minutes walk to the beach, downhill. Remember, if you take too much beach stuff with you, need walk back with up to the hill. But overall, worth to visit.
József B — Google review
Great beach with shower. Typical and not ruined by resorts. Small restaurant to eat fish food but not any bar.
Albert T — Google review
This shingle beach is, in my opinion, the best one between Marseille and Cavaliere. Clear waters, gently shelving beach for snorkelling, rocks to jump off of and an area with underwater infoboards on the marine life. Free on street (or bounced up on a kerb) parking nearby. Not overly busy either. A porta toilet nearby. The only problem is the rough rocks can rip your swim shorts!
Nick L — Google review
Clear water, not too crowded, pebble beach.no direct access by car. Car needed to be left on top of the street. long walk down the hill to get there.parking limited but not impossible. Restaurant available directly next to the beach. The beach isn't necessarily the best for toddlers as there is a drop in the water but if a parent is constantly keeping an eye and assisting in the water I don't see a problem. No sand to build castles though.

The collection turns around the topic of the landscape, especially portraits by the school of artists in Lyon and from the Provence area. Very interesting the part related to the exploration of the Mediterranean Sea and its lands which includes views of the old oriental world. Don’t miss a visit to the library inside the museum. The staff was very kind. Each visitor is welcomed by someone with a printed leaflet of the exposition, not so necessary for me, but still appreciated. Recommended!

Small museum but quite amusing. Great for a rainy day or super hot afternoon ( AC inside). Library collection was interesting
Rachel S — Google review
The contemporary art collection is a real surprise. The concept is, each master has one piece to put in this collection, I’m really happy to see Broodthaers, and some American pioneers rarely seen in France such as sol lewitt, Donald Judd, Fontana etc. Library has an amazing book selection, staff are welcoming:)

Mourillon, located in Toulon, is a charming village known for its beautiful beaches. All the beaches here have been awarded the Pavillon Bleu label for their high quality. The area is surrounded by gardens and restaurants, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful retreat. Visitors can reach Anse de Mejean beach by walking along the Sentier des Douaniers or driving to a nearby car park.
Beautiful garden just next to the sea. Good place to jog walk or run or to sit and chill near the ocean. You can also swim and dine. The best place in Toulon.

Nice beaches, ideal for families, but not enough toilets or showers. That means that there are often long queues. The paucity of showers or even faucets to rinse your feet is incredible. It’s little improved in this respect since I first came here in 1990.
Tony S — Google review
Beautiful beach. The water is ice cold. Well, not really but 70° feels like ice!
Jeff W — Google review
A place right on the beach. The establishment gets crowded for lunch, so plan accordingly. My companions had the Ceasar Salad with Panko Crusted Chicken and I tried the steamed Curry Mussels. The Mussels came out in a large pot and loaded with flavor. My companions were here before and were in love with their Ceasar Salad, the Crusted Chicken was crispy and the salad was delicious. All in all, one of our favorite lunch places with a great view. Just beware of aggressive seagulls stealing your food!

Whether you're with family, friends, celebrating a birthday, or any other occasion, this park offers a fun and agile adventure for all. The staff is friendly and provides good instructions for a enjoyable warm-up. Kids can have a blast while adults have their own separate space to relax. It's a great place for an hour of fun and even offers quiet workspaces for adults.

The staff was very friendly, and the instructions (funny: the warm up!) were good. My kids enjoyed their time, and for the adults there is a separated room. All in all it´s ok.

Fantastic place for children but quite expensive for adults ! Too long a wait to get into the place itself as you have to register via terminals before you can actually get to a server ! This takes far too long. Although quite expensive for 2 kids and 2 hours (€40+), they were well taken after and had a really good time !

Jardin du Las is a family-friendly destination located in the hills above Toulon on the French Riviera. It offers a pleasant hike along the Las River, leading to Lake Dardennes, also known as Lake Revest. The area provides good shade and protection from strong winds with its old big trees, making it ideal for picnics and family activities. The park features a museum, playgrounds, and plenty of seating areas.
Having kids we are always on the lookout for the places we visit to have good fun rides for the kids, this is one of them. Good shade for very sunny day, and even better, the old big trees, protects against the strong winds also. Good for picnicking and other family related activities.

Really nice museum ( good for kids and grownups ) with a nice garden , playgrounds , there's lots of old trees so it's not too hot , and some water to play around with ( little fountain /river ) .

A place that's nice to visit with friends or family, the trees are very old and tall and big and there's a flowing water at the end part of this parc that was very useful for drinking and for washing clothes during the ancient times...

Public beach
Anse Mejean in Toulon is a charming and authentic beach, featuring lovely fishing huts, seafood restaurants, and a backdrop of pine and cedar trees. Although it's not a sandy beach but rather pebbled, the small area near Cap Brun offers excellent activities such as walks along the beautiful coastline and hikes alongside the rocky terrain. The picturesque blue-shuttered fishermen's cottages add to its unique charm.

Nice place to spend the afternoon with the sailing boat. There is not much to do though. There is also a restaurant at the place with unfriendly personal and very high prices.
Carlos R — Google review
Nice place for taking pictures. We went there with kids to be on the beach, which was not a success. No option for buying food and drinks unless you visit the restaurant. We went to buy snacks and drinks which were few km away. You can take the car all the way down to the restaurant, but it can be difficult to find a free space. And the drive down the narrow road is not easy. But leaving the car and walking down is to hot and long for small kids. Just next to the beach there is a smaller beach where people are jumping from the cliffs. This is perfect for photos and entertainment. But remember to bring water, drinks and snacks.

(Translated by Google) Overall, the experience was good, but the settings are rather sparse, not necessarily very elaborate, and the puzzles were all about opening locks. A slightly more interactive experience would have been great. We played the asylum, which we didn't manage to complete. But there were no surprises there; we had been warned about the difficulty. On that front, promise kept!
Erwan R — Google review
(Translated by Google) ANSWER: Your answer is ridiculous, and you're accusing us of something that even your employee admitted: we couldn't have broken the key because none of the keys were damaged. There was already a piece in the lock that blocked the access for 20 minutes. If, as you say, you were professional, you would have recognized that over a 70-minute period, losing 20 minutes (losing almost 1/3 of the time) is not insignificant. Especially when it happens at the beginning of the game (it completely took the fun out of it for us; we stayed and continued because we paid €70). Then your employee removed this piece from the lock and assured us that we hadn't broken it, showing us what was blocking it. Take the information carefully, and respect the people who come to your establishment; it's the least you can do when you want to be a good boss. Trying to accuse us and make people believe you did us a favor for a mistake you made doesn't work, and it's completely defamatory. We received no compensation, and even an inappropriate message from the owner. Definitely never go to that place. We came to clear the asylum room in the middle of the afternoon, and it turned into a fiasco. After having trouble getting started, we found the keys to access the next room. But surprise, no key worked, on all the locks. We were stuck in a room for 15 minutes, with the game master writing clues on the computer, even though I'd already tried everything. After 20 minutes of struggling, he entered the game and asked me for the set of keys to "show" me how to do it. And then, surprise, the key doesn't work because one is broken in the lock... so he spoiled what we were missing + we lost 20 minutes + the pleasure of playing. All this for not even being reimbursed, or compensated, for €70 (SEVENTY EUROS) per game.
