I’m grateful that I had the chance to bring my son here to see the EPIC legacy of an icon- Muhammad Ali. I’ve been here once before, and both visits left an impression. You can FEEL the greatness of Muhammad Ali- it’s not just a visit, it’s an experience. My son asked so many questions and it made for great discussions. I’m really glad he went. I’m bringing my other sons with me to visit too! If you’re from Kentucky, especially Louisville, you should visit if you can. Make sure to start at the beginning! You can’t even begin to experience the inspiration and true grit of this man without having a sense of where he came from. The persecution. The determination. The legend. It was humbling, heartbreaking and inspiring. Muhammad Ali, the epitome of greatness in all facets. He was more than a world champion boxer. He was a champion in character. “If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it-then I can achieve it” -Muhammad Ali, the greatest.

This place was amazing. The set up was awesome. My favorite thing was a full size boxing ring with a show being played in the middle of it. You see a amazing man in such a complicated time in our country's past. I would so highly recommend

The Ali Center is the place to go to learn the incredible life story of The Greatest of All Time. The museum is chock full of photos, videos, paintings and other memorabilia chronicling the unbelievable journey of a little boy named Cassius Clay who became a three-time heavyweight champion and global icon as Muhammad Ali. I grew up during his heyday and loved and admired him. I remember his comedic antics before fights with his opponents (and the obnoxious sportscaster Howard Cosell). The museum jogged a memory when I saw references to his fights with Jerry Quarry. I went to the Oct. 26, 1970, closed-circuit broadcast in Springfield, Illinois, with my dad. We witnessed Ali’s triumphant return to the ring after a 3 1/2-year banishment. The fight was stopped in the third round due to a cut over Quarry's left eye. Ali would claim his second heavyweight championship four years later. Ali’s religious beliefs are a major focus in the museum. For someone who grew up in the 60s and 70s, the Ali museum brings back a lot of memories. Anyone younger would learn a lot about an important chapter of American history by visiting.

Visiting the Muhammad Ali Center was a powerful and unforgettable experience. The exhibits are beautifully done — not just showcasing Ali's legendary boxing career, but also his values, activism, and global impact. One of the most moving moments was seeing the Olympic torch he carried, it gave me chills. The interactive displays and personal artifacts really bring his story to life, and the top floor view overlooking the river is stunning. It’s more than a museum, it’s a place that challenges you to think bigger, stand firm in your beliefs, and strive to be your best. Truly inspiring and a must-visit in Louisville.

What an inspirational place to visit. You can spend a lot of time here and be very inspired by such a young man at a time when the world was not so nice. You'll get emotional learning so much about Muhammad Ali life and all his struggles and how he still continued to carry his head high.

🌟 Big thanks to Sebastian for giving us such an amazing tour at the Louisville Mega Cavern! 🌟 We had a great time learning about the history of the cavern—Sebastian was so knowledgeable and made the experience fun and engaging. 🚋✨ Although we only had time for the Mega Tram tour this trip, we saw just how much more there is to explore—zip lines, ropes courses, biking, and more. Definitely worth another visit! If you’re ever in Louisville, the Mega Cavern is a must-see. 🪨🙌

We had a blast! We only lasted an hour. The workers said no one lasts more than 2 hours. So yes there is a time limit but not really. It is actually really hot down there. We definitely did not need jackets. I was sweating like crazy by the end of it.

Had a great time with Tour Team 2 (Lizzie and Sydney). They took us through the cavern crossing 5 zip lines and two suspension bridges. Shoes are important since there are some muddy/slick spots, and since it was summer we didn't need any covering, but in the winter that'd be a different story. Favorite zip lines were the longest one (3 Football fields) and the last one where you can race another guest. Thanks for the great time, Team 2!

Mega Cavern was a fun spot to visit. There are many activities to do within the cavern. There is a ropes course, a walking tour, a tram tour and a zip line course where one of the zip lines is a long as the titanic. My family chose the tram tour and had a good time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. I recommend visiting if you are in the area.

We went ziplining and had a blast! We had four of us in our group and were paired up with a few other people plus the two tour guides. The group wasn't too big, and it was a very fun/different experience right in the heart of Louisville. Our tour guides out did themselves (Cam & Caroline for group 3 - I highly recommend these two!!) and made sure we all had a ton of fun while also being safe. The actual ziplines and bridges we took were fun! The only thing we thought would've made the experience better would've been to have music to go along with the lights they had. I will definitely do this again!

So much fun! Jj and Norbert are the best! Ask for them!! We did the zip line and it was our first time and they made sure we knew what to expect and felt safe the entire time! Give these 2 a raise! They deserve one!

Had an amazing time on the guided tour. I would recommend this trip for anyone trying to relax and enjoy a nice day. There was no wait for the next tour. Guide was very informative and funny.

I had no idea what to expect when we went to the Slugger Museum in Kentucky. My husband and the kids were excited, which made me curious as to why. The tour turned out to be very thorough and engaging. Our guide was knowledgeable, explained everything clearly, and answered all of our questions along the way. One of the most memorable parts for me was learning about the machines brought over from Germany in 1964. They’ve been in operation ever since, and I was amazed at how well they still work. When I asked about repairs, the guide explained that there are mechanics on site who specialize in maintaining them, with that knowledge passed down from generation to generation. I also learned something I had never thought about before… Slugger bats are made from three types of wood: birch, ash, and maple. The history behind the bats and the precision that goes into how they are made, even down to the way they are positioned, and how the decals or stamping are carefully placed, gave me a whole new appreciation for the bats themselves. I would highly recommend making the Slugger Museum one of your stops if you’re visiting the area.

We love this place! We took our kids there because they play baseball and I highly recommend doing the full tour experience. Their shop has a nice variety of bats at an affordable price. Finding parking is easy because we park at the museum parking & their price for parking is way more convenient than the other public parking lot nearby. Their cafe staff members we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Go visit!

This was a fantastic tour even for a person who isn’t the most fanatic baseball fan. Learning about where the wood for the bats come from, the level of quality control for the major league bats, and the finishing was a really enjoyable experience. They were running the Cnc’s for the pros bats during our visit which was cool to witness. Never knew there was so much that went into a bat or how much customization each player could do to their signature bats. If you’re in Louisville and enjoy a good museum this is one to visit. Sports fan or not it’s worth the trip.

I absolutely loved coming here. It has been a bucket list location for a long time and didn’t disappoint. Our tour guide was great. Very knowledgeable, kind and patient. You get a mini bat at the end of the tour. Definitely check out the gift shows and other free attractions at this place

Great baseball history experience for anyone. I'm not too much of a baseball fan, but thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Enjoyed our tour and our tour guide was very informative. Learned alot and enjoyed my time in the museum as well. Lots of history in every corner. Will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Great museum and factory tour! The tour was approximately 30-45 minutes and was a great experience. It was so neat to hold an actual bat from legends such as Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, Johnny Bench, etc. The batting cage was a nice bonus that we enjoyed as well. Highly recommend for families.

If your a baeball fan or close by this is a must see. I would recommend purchasing reservations ahead of time and taking the tour of the museum. I visited with the family and spent around 4 hours here. There are a number of historical displays and interactions that you can participate in. The factory walk through was interesting as you can see the build out of a MLB baseball bat. Would recommend if your in the area!

The museum is fantastic. I recommend taking an early tour of the track. The horses usually work out between 6-10 am. It is amazing to see the size difference between 2 year old and 3 year old. The history of the track and horses, jockeys and trainers is fun. Enjoy a mint julip or old fashioned in the cafeteria bar.

Wow so much history here. Great tour with our guide taking us around and out to the track. Lots to see with all the displays of trophies and memories of past Jockies and owners. The people who helped make Churchill Downs the best horse track ever. We had lunch in the cafe and got to see horses out back of the cafe. It was a good day spent visiting the Kentucky Derby Museum. The run for the Roses.

Great way to learn about the history of the Kentucky Derby and see a lot of memorabilia. Our tour guide was fantastic. Lots of cool displays. They did have a lot of private events going on so some areas were closed. Still, worth the trip!

We really enjoyed the museum. On display were trophies, photos videos and costumes from the rich history of the Kentucky Derby. At the time of our visit there was a special exhibition of memorabilia from arguably the greatest race horse of all time.. Secretariat. This was an added bonus that I really enjoyed.

I did the Ultimate Churchill Downs Tour and it was actually pretty cool. I came into it as someone who has never watched a horse race and I left the tour wanting to come down for the Kentucky Derby. My guide was very knowledgeable and you could tell he loved sharing the stories of the derby. I would recommend this to anyone who likes learning about history and especially those who love horse racing. One thing that was good to see is they clearly take very good care of the horses at Churchill Downs.

Local resident here - “Barn and Backside tour” with BARRY….priceless! Barry is a treasure - we have been to the track and museum numerous times but had yet to do the backside tour. Barry was amazing! (I think Churchill needs to figure out how to record/document his knowledge for the future!)

Awesome experience. Fun, interactive museum with a wonderful cafe and gift shop. Tons to see and do, Including interacting with their resident mini pony. So much fun.

Great little getaway with my family! I like that you can bring in your own food and coolers. The opportunities to feed the giraffes and birds were absolutely awesome and well priced. It was $3. That's very affordable. The only complaint I had was over half of the buttons that open the doors for a wheelchair did not work, and we had a family member in a wheelchair.

The Louisville Zoo is a fantastic destination for families, animal lovers, and anyone who enjoys the outdoors. First time here and it was amazing! When we travel we try new zoos and wildlife sanctuaries and this one is one of our new favorites! The only gripe was the menus included food for the Halloween event but didn't state it was only available in the evening during the event times. Had to work at finding food after being excited about several things on the menu and it not being available.

This is a great zoo. It has awesome exhibits. Don’t ask for a straw because you might get a lecture about saving the planet. You do have to pay for parking but I don’t mind as the animals have to eat. The polar bear is awesome. The giraffe feeding can be disorganized not because of the animals but the people. Love this zoo.

I love my local zoo!! Why is no one talking about Bruce the Southern Cassowary?! Probably because the polar bear does flips in his exhibit. It’s a nice walk, with a little splash zone in the summer for kids, and just keeps improving year after year.

Slightly disappointed that there aren't more animals to look at. 1 tiger, 1 hippo, 1 rhinoceros, 1 polar bear ... the list just goes on and on. But overall it was still enjoyable to see that they are still very well cared for and their environments were quite sizable compared to other zoos I've seen.

Great animal talks, demonstrations, and exhibits. The bear talks and seal show are really cool to see the animals up close. The tram is a relief from the hills and to get to a certain area quicker. Suggested donation is $1. Wait time for a tram may be 15 minutes. The Splash Park is fun (check website or call ahead to see if it’s open or closed for maintenance). There are several employees making sure kids use the slides one at a time. There are two playgrounds near the restaurants.

Our kids had fun and experienced many exhibits seen at science museums and children's museums we have visited across the country. However, I think the museum could emphasize learning significantly more in the new exhibits - for instance, what was presented as a body exhibit had mostly long texts to read about emotion, which my children took nothing from since it lacked interactive learning. In general most of the exhibits seemed a bit light in content. The older exhibits were good but were in need of repair. The lack of seating for a place to eat and the reliance on Subway as a cafeteria was somewhat disappointing. Also, I cannot fully respect a science museum that doesn't have recycling available.

A fun little learning center! My husband and I came to Louisville on a recent anniversary trip. We took the tour of the Louisville Slugger Museum and decided to walk down the road to check out whatever places there were to see. We came across the Kentucky Science Center and decided to have a look for a future trip with our younger kids. The museum was housed in an old building downtown, which I absolutely loved! The idea that this building was once something else way back in the day, really intrigues me. The architecture is always an added bonus. The museum is very spread out, which makes it nice because you’re not on top of each other trying to get to things. Highlights: My husband was very excited to see the UPS exhibit. He retired from UPS so he really did enjoy that part of it. Thank you for that 😃 We also adored the little area that had construction vests in you were able to build. So cute! Oh, and standing inside of a bubble at the entrance was also really cool. It’s a great place for the littles and a nice place to come on a rainy or hot day. The downside and the reason I gave it only 4 stars is it seems like there’s really not enough things to do in the museum. Because they are so spread out, it looks much larger than it is. The things to do are very similar to those at other science centers. If you are somebody who lives in this area or may not have been to any other science type centers, then this place is definitely a fun place to go with the kids especially if you are a member. Another thing I noticed is that certain areas were kind of a mishmosh. For instance, there was a space capsule in the same room as animal heads and tusks that were on the wall. Also, in the same room as the mummy? I just thought that maybe whomever set up the museum could have put them more into categories instead of just kind of placing them wherever it seemed like there was a spot to use. In the same room, there was an extremely strong scent coming from the Subway sandwich shop downstairs. I believe that this beautiful building could be revamped into something so much more when it comes to the science center. I think it needs a little bit more when it comes to a tween area as well. Just looking at each area again and placing things more categorically would be wonderful. I would certainly bring the kids here as the building itself is extremely interesting. Overall, I would still recommend a visit here 😃 There is an admission fee and tickets can be bought ahead. Very good for kids. Changing tables in the restrooms. Live performances. Gift shop and theater on the premises. Subway in the building for food. Paid parking garage, parking lot or on street parking. *Wheelchair accessible entrance, parking lot and restrooms

Always a wonderful time three floors of tons of fun stuff to do. Perfect to wear your little ones out or for curious older ones. We absolutely love the science center! From the noodles, the climbing wall, the ups truck, the grocery, splash table. Everything is typically well kept and tidy. Very busy place since it's downtown.

This place is expensive but awesome. There are so many learning areas for different ages and themes. The UPS Truck was a huge hit with the kids. I felt like the small toddler area needed some updating and a good cleaning but the activities were varied and fun. The grocery area seemed to be very popular. I am not sure how you could keep all of those items sorted and clean. Maybe in the store’s checkout area there could be sorting opportunities. As an adult I loved the upstairs area about personalties, traits, feelings, etc.

The Kentucky Science Center in downtown Louisville is truly one of the best places to explore science with kids and family. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the excitement of learning mixed with fun. There are three floors filled with interactive exhibits that keep children and adults engaged for hours. My kids especially enjoyed the hands-on areas where they could build, test, and experiment. It’s not only entertaining but also educational in a way that sparks curiosity. The staff members are friendly, helpful, and very patient with children. They make the experience even smoother by answering questions and guiding families through the exhibits. Another highlight is the IMAX theater, which adds a whole new level of excitement to the visit. Parking is convenient, located on the back side under the bridge, and members can park all day for only $8, which is very reasonable for downtown. One of the most amazing things is that if you have WIC benefits, the Kentucky Science Center offers a free family membership plan, making science accessible to more families. Overall, this is a must-visit spot in Louisville for learning, fun, and family bonding. Highly recommended!

This place is nice to bring people of ALL ages ! Very informative and Cadet Skyler had some great activities! Cadet Abby had an amazing class session ! The kids enjoyed just as much as I did ❤️✨

My 8 year old was thrilled at the Kentucky science center. There are countless engaging activities filled with fun and learning. Adults can join in the excitement also. Every moment was spent learning awesome facts and moments of insightful activities for everyone. I hope to visit again.

Our group of 4 enjoyed our experience here. All the tour guides were knowledgeable and readily accepted and encouraged questions. We did the extra early morning track tour and got to see horses finishing their am work out and the track grooming begin. This was followed by an informative movie in the Great Room covered by the general admission. We had time afterwards to wander the museum displays on 2 floors. We remembered triple crown winner Secretariat and enjoyed the 2nd floor info on him including video of all 3 races. We finished our time there with the barn and backside tour which was quite interesting. There are many horses stabled here plus about 600 trainers, etc. that live above the barns or in the dorms. We saw many stables, horses, and their care givers at work.

We did the backstretch workout tour. Our guide was Ferguson who was simply great. The tour started off at the Museum at 6:45am.. if you do this tour.. it will seem like no one is around at that t, but there folks at the museum entrance who are inside.. just knock on the doors and staff will let you in. Your DSLR camera might be welcome with no flash, so be sure to ask. This tour was 2 hours and well worth it. You will get to see the horses working out, as well as the ponies that are used to walk out the thoroughbreds on race day. You will also get to see the stables and the race horses.. We were shuttled around by golf buggy so no worries about walking. You will have to pay for the museum in addition to the tour. We had a wonderful experience and got to see and learn so much about this iconic place. Reservations are required. Parking is free.. no restrooms once you start to tour but there are rest rooms in the museum prior to the start.

went for the tour in late august - it was a friday and no racing at all, but still there were some people taking tours non-stop. you get to look at the race tracks and listen to a guide explain the history of the place. surprisingly there are 600,000 seats - well that’s the correct answer of the guide asks you - a bit hard to believe looking at the venue. guess the magic of this place is during the derby and seeing it empty just shows you how people are the core of anything. you do get to see a house and a pony - cute and beautiful

We're really not horse racing people or gamblers but we decided to come visit anyway because of the iconic reputation and we're so glad we came. The horses are beautiful and the facility is amazing. General admission was $10. The surrounding area is rough not what you'd expect with such a prestigious venue close by. Keep your arms and legs inside the ride at all times and don't feed the wild animals. Absolutely recommend visiting Churchill Downs though if you're in the area.

Go early and have the full museum tour experience! Take your kids if you have any. They have nice things to buy at their shop. Their cafe has a bar & a good variety of food. The museum is full of history, pictures, trophy, dresses, etc. My favorite part was the tour.

We visited Churchill Downs for the Survivor’s Day Races and it was an unforgettable experience. We had tickets for Millionaires Row, and everything from start to finish was exceptional. The atmosphere and views were incredible — truly a one-of-a-kind racing experience. The food and drinks were top-tier, beautifully presented, and delicious. The service was outstanding as well; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everyone was taken care of throughout the day. There were four of us in our group, and we all had an amazing time enjoying the races, the energy of the crowd, and the overall luxury of the Millionaires Row experience. It made the day truly special and memorable. If you’re planning a visit to Churchill Downs, I highly recommend Millionaires Row for a first-class experience — we will definitely be returning!

Louisville Waterfront Park is one of the most beautiful and relaxing spots in the city. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or just looking for some quiet time alone, this park offers the perfect escape right in downtown Louisville. The park is very well-maintained — clean walkways, plenty of open green space, and stunning views of the Ohio River. You can take a nice long walk or bike ride along the riverfront, enjoy the cool breeze, and stop by the Big Four Bridge to take in the skyline view. The bridge lighting at night is absolutely gorgeous and makes for some great photos.

During the visit to Waterfront Park in Louisville, I was pleasantly surprised by how peaceful and scenic the place felt. It’s one of those spots that perfectly blends the calm of nature with the energy of the city. As the sun began to set, the sky transformed into a soft mix of oranges and pinks, reflecting beautifully over the Ohio River. Sitting by the water and watching the boats drift by was incredibly relaxing — the kind of moment that makes you slow down and just take it all in. As night fell, the nearby bridge came alive with bright, colorful lights, casting shimmering reflections on the river. It gave the whole park a warm, vibrant glow — almost magical. Families, couples, and joggers shared the space, and despite being out after dark, you can feel completely safe thanks to the visible police presence in the area.

We stayed in Louisville over Memorial Day weekend. We had some extra time on our hands, so we searched some places in the city to visit. We settled on Waterfront Park, and I’m so glad we went. It’s a beautiful park right on the Ohio River. It’s so nice we actually went three times! It’s right across the street from the Louisville Bats’ stadium. You can watch the stadium fireworks from the park. Downtown is really nice. We heard a lot of bad stuff about downtown Louisville, so we were a little nervous to try it. I think some common sense will get you a long way. We stayed together, stayed in the populated areas, left before dark, etc. We never felt scared. The RED LOT (you can search “Waterfront Park Red Lot” in your GPS) - FREE parking by the older playground. There are some bathrooms and lots of benches. Good shade. Walking paths that go down to the water near the bridges. You can walk the riverfront by all the bridges, the Lincoln memorial area, and all the way to the pedestrian bridge, the new playground and splash pad. There are LOTS of benches, swings, and shaded areas along the way. It’s a pretty, easy walk. It’s very nice. Lots of families and couples. Lovely. The SILVER LOT (you can search “Waterfront Park Silver Lot” in your GPS) - FREE parking by the new playground and splash pad. There are other parking lots nearby too, if this lot is full. The playground and splash pad were great; the kids loved it! There are bathrooms right there. Lots of benches, tables, and swings and a nice walking path by the river. You can access the ramp to the pedestrian bridge (Big Four Bridge) from here. It’s a nice, easy ramp up to the bridge. The bridge itself is 1 mile across to the Indiana side. There are no benches on the ramp going up to the bridge, but there are lots of benches once you get on the bridge. Food trucks set up in the area as well. We had a great time there, and would definitely go back!

If you are in Louisville then please, please go on this walking bridge. The views are incredible. A unique experience. Don't ask questions just go for a walk. You'll thank me later. Excellent park for children on both the Indiana and Kentucky side.

Visited on a Saturday Memorial Day weekend and things were happening at the park. Lots of parties, picnics, street fair, kids having fun at the splash pad, playground, etc. Walked 3 miles and noticed a healthy police presence. The park looks good after the floods in March. Only downside was the pedestrian bridge did not allow pets.

Nice park along the riverfront in Louisville. Lot of festivals and events here and be sure to walk across the Big 4 Bridge, great views of the city, river, and good exercise.

Walked here the day before the Mulligans 5k fun run and also ran across the pedestrian bridge during the run. It was a nice walk and nice view of all the bridges.

This is a really cool museum about Kentucky history. You could easily get through most of the exhibits in 1 to 2 hours. They did have a film that played three times a day, that we watched. That was really interesting and informative as well. We learned quite a bit about how many different people are from Kentucky. And we learned a lot of facts about the state, that we did not know before. Definitely worth a trip if you have time.

I got married here on June 14, 2025. Not only was the venue gorgeous, the staff were magnificent. Throughout the entire process, they answered all my questions and after booking they let us and our family tour it multiple times since we booked almost 2 years out. The week/day of, the staff working our event were amazing. They were attentive and helped us in every way. We could not have picked a better place with better people.

We had a tour of the bourbon floor and did the bourbon tasting. Very nice. We have tickets to go back because there are many floors and many different displays.

As a visitor from out of town, I learned alot about KY. Alot of it definitely seems geared more for kids, but there was still quite a few exhibits I found interesting as an adult. P.s. There is an entrance to a secret speakeasy in the bourbon hallway

Very cool! 😎 First time in Louisville...neat find!! Not just the political history of Louisville and Kentucky but everything from the geological, industrial and sports! It's been several years since we were there.. it was fun when we went.. not sure how it's doing after all the crazy riots that took place during covid. Look forward to a resurrection of the fun venue

We attended a work event at the museum, the museum itself was beautiful with plenty of interesting pieces to fill the downtime before the event started. The space provided for the event was amazing. There was one floor dedicated to cocktail/ social hour and another floor for the ceremony itself as well as two floors of museum exhibits. The main event space was complete with podium for speakers, dance floor, space for buffet and space for bar and games. The spaces never felt crowded and it was never boring, great event space for large groups, we had probably 120 people.

July of 2025. Parking is available along the side streets. A charming park with a fountain, a lion statue, and an antique fire lamp-post is located in front of the mansion; a video is available for viewing. As the photographs may suggest, the exterior of this mansion is quite beautiful. Your visit begins at the gift shop, situated to the left of the mansion, where you will receive a brochure detailing each room. Restroom is also available at the gift shop. We chose a self-guided tour because we were somewhat pressed for time. After leaving the gift shop, we entered the mansion's front entrance and were greeted by Beth Caldwell of the Caldwell family, whose photograph is attached. She was exceptionally kind and provided a wealth of information. Most rooms feature photographs illustrating their historical appearance. It is truly captivating to witness how individuals of high social standing lived during that time, offering a journey back in time. Donations are gratefully accepted to support the mansion's upkeep, and a portion of your gift shop purchases also contributes to its maintenance. We hope you have a wonderful visit!

Very cool, historic mansion right outside of downtown Louisville. The neighborhood itself is worth checking out. Amazing architecture, inside and out. The folks who volunteer are very friendly and will answer any questions you have. You could spend 30 minutes, or a couple of hours here, depending on your interest. The grounds include a gift shop. Tickets are not expensive. Worth an afternoon or morning visit.

Beautiful Richardson Romanesque home in the heart of Old Louisville. Tours are roughly 70 minutes long, and they proceed through all three levels of the house. Though the stately staircase on the first floor was the highlight, all of the other rooms were elaborately decorated with many of the original furnishings (and even small accoutrements such as cookie dishes!) Beth was our docent, and she explained how she was the great-granddaughter of a Caldwell and provided personal anecdotes about some of the people who lives in the home. She was very accommodating for our large tour group.

Very informative guided tour by a member of the Caldwell Family. It was fun to take a stroll through time and history as we moved from room to room in this 9000+ sqft mansion. Many items are original from the Caldwell family and others donated. We purchased tickets in advance but probably wasn’t necessary.

My family and I went on the Lamplit Tour and had such a wonderful time! The guides were fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and full of interesting stories and facts. They even managed to capture (and keep!) the attention of my two energetic boys, ages 7 and 11. We all learned something new and had a great experience. Highly recommend this tour for families and history lovers alike!

This is an excellent tour. We had no idea who Conrad-Caldwell was, but this home was part of our Old Louisville Ghost Tour that we walked by so we decided to take the house tour the next day. Most house tours you get to see just a couple of rooms, but this one you get to see many and most of the furnishing were original. Our docent's name was Beth Caldwell and she was excellent. She is the great granddaughter of the 2nd owner of the home. She is very knowledgeable and patient. It was great getting insider information from a relative of the owner. This is probably the best home tour I've been on and I think most of it is due to Beth.

Nice relaxing 2 hour ride along the Ohio River. Great for kids and adults. Our kids were greeted and given a great activity book that taught them about the boat with coloring pages, scavenger hunt, and word search. The staff was very polite and friendly. We ate prior to boarding the boat so we only got a quick snack which was a little pricey. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Louisville

Really enjoyed this experience. I did a sunset music cruise. Get to the boat early if you want a seat outside by the railing! The DJ was great, played a nice mix of old and new songs. The ride was lovely. I didn't get any food but they have plenty of snacks and drinks available on board if you decide to skip dinner. If you have time I suggest a river cruise. There is paid parking in the lot next to the dock but it fills up quickly.

All in all it was a great experience. Definitely something that needs to be done if you're visiting Louisville. Only issue i had was pre-order the ships photo and never received the copy. I was told on the ship that it will be sent digital and it wasn't, had to call for a refund.

Really enjoyed this with my husband and daughter. My daughter enjoyed the theme based dance parties more that they offer. I loved the cruise for photography opportunities. The guide was fantastic and you could tell she loves her job. Get there early for good seats! Stadium food was a bit pricey.

Planned a trip to Louisville to go on the belle only to have the cruise cancelled after we boarded due to mechanical issues. It was very stormy and we had to deal with getting soaked trying to get to the belle from the parking we paid for. Paid 45 dollars in concessions then they cancelled after everyone got comfortable. They only gave out passes for a future cruise but I am leaving for Minnesota tomorrow so it’s a complete bust and loss of money for me. I get it stuff happens but still very frustrating after being almost 100 bucks in and being sent back home… wish we hadn’t spent the money on the concessions… the belle seemed like it would be cool though…

The best for a day out for all and sundry to cruise thro the Ohio River across the borders of the Indiana and the Kentucky States. It's running for the 111th year, an engineering marvel with proper maintenance. Three tier deck, the bottom splashing the river water to propel with steam blowing out with warmth smell on a cool sunny day; middle one is for dine, band music, event hall and the top to watch the beauty around 360 degrees. Lush green of Kentucky on one side; bridges and buildings on the IN. Competitions for all ages, like name the music; find the spots in the boat for a treasure hunt. Won the free pass for another visit for two members. Refreshments like soft drinks, pop-corns and other varieties give treat to us with their aroma around. A never miss a chance spot.

Had a fun ride on the Belle of Louisville in Cincinnati. I have many fond memories of The Belle from a family excursion when I was little, to a high school prom, a welcome to the University of Louisville Dental School, to today’s ride.

Love the architecture. This museum is around U of Louisville so went on a weekday during winter break. Fridays have a children’s day, but planned to go right when it opened, to bet the rush. Great special exhibits and solid permanent pieces. Definitely plan to go back.

Wow! This is a true gem in Louisville, KY. I mean that. There is so much depth and beauty to be discovered here in this masterfully laid out museum. There are exhibits that are ancient and then there are modern and contemporary exhibits. The newer addition of the building is a piece of art all in itself. I recommend a trip to see this art museum. I am thankful I took my family.

Drove down from Cincinnati to see the Brilliant Exiles exhibit about American Women in Paris 1900-1939. First, the museum is beautiful, an architectural masterpiece. And the exhibit was absolutely terrific—just the right size, very approachable, good information with each photograph/painting. The whole theme of ‘brilliance’ and the kind of independence and joy of these women are deftly captured in this exhibit. It was a pleasure to be there, a privilege to see the works. We did do a little exploring of the rest of the museum, and I especially liked the Kentucky Art section. Well worth a drive to this wonderful museum!

Art museum has a wide variety of art, from classical to folk art. The building itself is fun to explore. Didn't realize it sits on the Louisville University campus, not downtown! Allow for at least half a day to see it all

Our two sons are 32 and 29. The youngest was visiting from Cambridge, MA with his wife and chose this as our family adventure. I cannot begin to tell you how much fun it was to look at art with my entire family and have rich conversations. Thank you for making this day special.

Free on Sunday's I would schedule 2-3 hours to see everything probably closer to 3. Exhibits range from ancient Egyptian to ultra modern art installations. While the more modern art dominates, my favorites were the small collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts like the mummified heron and the Roman sarcophagus. The portrait gallery contains several American masters along with a Monet and bronzes by Degas and Remington. There are also some impressive marble statues, stained glass and an entire room from a 17th century English Manor House. I also found the Kentucky art exhibit very interesting especially the Fire Director. Overall a very nice museum that will keep your attention across every exhibit and provide a nice cultural outing for anyone.

The Speed Art Museum was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding. From the first time we toured the space, the staff was professional, engaging and incredibly informative. They worked closely with us to ensure every detail was taken care of, and the end result was a truly beautiful and versatile setting for our special day. The in-house catering was also fantastic - our guests raved about the delicious food and impeccable service. We couldn't have selected a more beautiful location to host our daughter's wedding. The Speed Art Museum exceeded all of our expectations and we highly recommend this venue to any couple planning their big day.

What a great place to explore! We scrambled down to the shoreline while examining the rocks as we went. Many unusual formations and fossils were scattered everywhere. We will definitely return to walk around more.

Wonderful visitor center with lots of information about the history of the Ohio River area around Clarksville. Lots of information and interactive exhibits about the fossils that are commonly found in this area. What was most fascinating to us was the timeline that explained the fossil and geological as well as geographic history of the Ohio River. The museum has a small admission charge of $9 per adult. Parking costs $2. The fossil beds are free to roam around.

The water was up pretty high, but we still enjoyed walking around and fossil hunting. The interpretive center/museum is great, too. We learned a lot and had a good time!

First time to this park too and it was a very different experience than any other state park. No trails but a lot of interaction and history. There is no shade out on the flats so I would recommend a hat, sunscreen, or an umbrella. There were also a lot of dead fish in various stages of decompression, so it can get a bit smelly.

Great place for kids to explore and to be one with nature. Do not come here wearing sandals/flip flops. Shoes are an essential here! There is a suggested $2 per car donation.

What a wonderful park that I'd never even heard of before this year! You can go to their website to check the water level before you go so that you can make sure the fossil beds are visible. $2 for parking is well worth it Update July 2025: we came back with the whole family when the water level was lower and got to see even more! The kids love the interactive interpretive center and the rock beds were well shaded at 9am, making for a great spot to visit on a hot morning

The pay for parking is a bit odd and they should welcome the state park pass for that, however this is a beautiful stop. Check out the little museum inside, so much history.

This is a phenomenal park for both young and old. The absolute best part is if you come on a weekday the waits are just minutes. At Disney you can literally spend your whole day waiting on 2-4 rides- here you can spend your whole day riding! Sure it’s no Disney- but what’s the value of actually enjoying your trip?? We had just a wonderful time. Spent two days, one mostly riding and the other mostly in the water. One of the more amazing things to me was the food- it was actually good by park standards and you can get totally full for $15 each. Most meals are exactly that $14.99. A lot of the local hotels offer a free shuttle to the park as well. If you’re within 2 hours of this park- you’re just not going to be able to beat it for the price, wait times and number of rides. Have fun!!!

The food was expensive, and menus were limited. Customer service while buying my season passes was extremely poor. The benefits and discounts were pretty good and definitely worth it. Hurricane Bay is definitely a great place to spend your summer cooling off and enjoying the sun at the same time. First aid stations are available throughout the amusement park. There's live bands and events happening at different times as well. Overall, the experience was great.

Kentucky Kingdom has it all. Thrill rides, family rides, and kid rides. There are shows to enjoy, games to play, and they even have a 5D movie experience. Hurricane Bay has plenty of chairs and lifeguards all around making sure everyone is safe. There are a ton of fun twisty and curvy slides. Then there is the scary slides for those that want a thrilling ride. They have a wave pool and a lazy river. There’s food and drinks through out the park, gift shops, restrooms and changing areas. The vendors will give you free water. There are lockers to rent to keep your items safe. The staff were so friendly and up beat. It was so much fun. We were there for 6 hours and didn’t have time to do it all!! The lines weren’t bad at all either.

We had such a wonderful time! It was incredibly hot but the wave pool and lazy river were perfect for cooling off. We rode the same roller coaster 3 times in a row! Some of the staff were super friendly and helpful.

This theme park is extremely nice! We were there today on a busy Saturday and it was still quite nice and the lines weren't very long. They keep the place clean and family-friendly which is absolutely wonderful for a nice change. It's great to not have chaos and cigarette smoke.

Spent a weekend here i highly recommend for family vacation as I have 3 little ones (2,5,7) and they loved it all! It has a couple different water places for children to play and swim around! The staff was so nice and accommodating! Would definitely go back!

This is a smaller amusement park. It has a nice amount of rides and a decent amount of rollercoasters especially considering the compact size of the park. Overall the park appeared to be clean and well kept . My favorite ride there personally was Wind Chaser ( formally Storm Chaser) . My biggest complaints would be the lack of merchandise specific to rides t-shirts and such , or maybe I just didn't see them . Also the employees or at least the ones I interacted with, they just didn't seem like they wanted to be there / didn't enjoy their job/ lacked any enthusiasm... It's possible it was just really early in the day idk. Overall not a bad park and the recently updated area was really nice.

This experience was AMAZING! A group of us visited for the Paranormal tour, and we loved every second. Our tour guides Jacob & Stephanie were so helpful and knowledgeable of the rich history of this beautifully tragic place, and thank you for taking the time after our tour to speak with us! We went on a 10:00 p.m. paranormal tour and had a great experience! Our tour guide (Jason) was super knowledgeable about the property and had lots of interesting stories to share. We didn’t experience anything “paranormal” but really enjoyed learning about the history of the building and the people housed there. We definitely want to come back, maybe for one of the historical tours during the day! I don’t think this is clearly communicated on the website, but we went in August, and it was HOT. Only one small area of the building is air conditioned, and the rest of the time you are in sweltering areas with no air flow. Dress lightly and bring a bottle of water if you go in the summer!

We went to visit the haunted house event and it was amazing! We paid for the VIP experience and got to explore some of the building before the haunted house. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. After exploring the building we went to the haunted house. The actors were great and interacted with you. House was huge felt like it went on forever! Had a great time screaming and laughing from the scares. Cannot recommend enough if you're in the Louisville area. Check them out, your money goes to a great cause!

I went pretty late, but even after we was done with the haunted house their was food for sale outside and they let us stay in the parking lot and take pics. This place is amazing!!! You can instantly feel you're not alone when you get there. Even if you stand alone. Anyone that's curious should definitely take a trip up the hill.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Visited last night for the haunted house. Had a great time loads of fun. Even got scared a few times. Would love to book an overnight tour. Can’t wait to go back. The drive up the hill is amazing.

Went this yr for the haunted house. They were busy even though we got there at 7 when they open the gates. But the lines moved fast. It was fun and different. We got 3D glasses for the first part. Fun!! Enjoyed it very much, it was a long your for only $20! Can't wait to return for the overnight tour 😍

We took the family out to Waverly Hills. I wasn't sure what to expect, maybe a boring 2-hour tour of the place. No - rather it was actually pretty fun and exciting for those who love haunted houses. Many dark, creepy rooms to navigate through as a group, close-quarter areas with dense fog, and a healthy mixture of jump scares and laughter along the way. I recommend it for first time haunted house go-ers. Also, the event is mildly safe for children around 13y.o. Remember to arrive as early as you can, because the line stacks up fast.

The Louisville Palace Theatre is a stunning and historic venue that truly impressed us. I visited with my family, and we were amazed by the beautiful interior—especially the ornate ceiling and classic architecture. The sound quality was excellent, and the seating was comfortable with good views from nearly every spot. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the event. It’s a perfect place to enjoy a concert, show, or special event in a memorable setting. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors!

Went here for my first time tonight for a show. The venue is gorgeous, the staff was helpful, and of course the show is great. Can't wait to visit here again!

Great little theater. Seats in Loge level were comfortable and had a drink holder near floor level. Seemed to be well staffed at concessions. Short walk after show to 4th Street live where there's lots to do.

One of the most beautiful venues in louisville. Its breathtaking really. Every seat is a good seat. The staff are very helpful. The drinks are a little pricey is the only real downside. I'll Come here for any band or show that interested in, the view and the venue are too awesome to miss.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL space! Attended the 50th Anniveraary showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show and was left spellbound by the beauty and personality filling the Palace. I was there for the show, but I wish I'd spent more time wandering around and taking photographs of the incredible, artful place! Gorgeous!!

Gorgeous old theater. Great acoustics! Went last August to see the Black Crowes and it was about 100° inside. They said the AC wasn't working. Should have postponed it. Saw Yes there last night and it was amazing!

Really cool place! Tons of different areas to explore, friendly staff, and great acoustics. My one complaint is how warm it got in there…was pretty humid and didn’t seem like the ac was working. Shoutout to Saquon Barkley for pulling up! Highly recommend visiting if you are in Louisville.

It was a beautiful place to walk and enjoy a little bit of history while walking with our dog. We decided to come to Louisville this weekend with our dog and there aren't many places dog friendly but this was one of them advertised as if if don't go inside the buildings. The premises are so wide and beautiful that you can enjoy still a nice stroll with your fur baby and learn about the history of the place. It's well-maintained, too. Unfortunately, they kept the bathrooms locked.

Had a great visit to Locust Grove. My tour guide, Dave, was very knowledgeable and well spoken- he taught me things I didn’t know about the family, house, and historic life. The grounds are also absolutely beautiful. Definitely worth a visit!

LG has a wonderful campus. Very well maintained and clean spaces. The indoor museum is super interesting. Really well done and the information is clear to read / understand . Similar to many southern museums, they were a little too positive about the whole enslavement situation. But it was better than some. The tour of the property was excellent. Very well kept and preserved. Each room in the main house was very interesting and properly staged. Our tour guide was one of the biggest highlights if not the biggest. His name was Dave, and he was the man. Knew his stuff, and was able to answer just about every question my group had. His involvement shows, with his love for the space. We were very happy to have gotten him as the guide. Thank you for the time!

I had my wedding at Locust Grove in October 2025. It was the best decision I made regarding my wedding day. It was beautiful, everything went so smoothly & I was very happy with the staff including Sarah the event coordinator & Jessica the owner. We did buy some things to make it look wedding ready like string lights & curtains but just the venue itself & surrounding nature is beautiful.

This is a beautiful spot for a garden wedding! There are a lot of background options throughout the garden for pretty pics and a gorgeous tree canopy along the pathway out to the gardens. The covered pavilion is a great spot for a covered outdoor reception area too it was a really big space!

Beautiful setting and lovely home, our guide was remarkable. I’m so thankful this home is so well restored so that others can learn from history. The day we were there it was set up for a wedding, what an amazing place to have a wedding. We had a picnic prior to our tour there is a great spot under shady trees with picnic tables.

We have seen several shows and concerts in this venue. It's a beautiful space, and from what I can tell there are no bad seats here.

Please pay mind to the cheaper seats are high up and yes a distance away. We seen Morgan Freeman with the Louisville orchestra which was awesome. But Morgan Freeman was only apart of the jazz history program for less than 10 minutes and he had a hat on and we were in the nose bleed section. What is disappointment the program was. But we would definitely go back to see a little more orchestra again they were awesome 💯

Older staff somehow didn't have a clue where one of the two active theaters were. Had to ask three different employees where to go (showed them my ticket each time) and missed the first few minutes of our show since they kept pointing us in the wrong direction. Would be nice if the theaters had better signage instead of having us rely on the clueless staff.

We went to the Herb Alpert concert there on July 21. Other than getting gouged to pay $15 to park in their parking lot, the experience was five star all the way. Everyone inside the facility was just as helpful and as friendly as they could be. We were taken to our seats by a very friendly lady. The room, the sound, the seating, everything about the Bomhard Theater was just spectacular. I would highly recommend this place for any event or concert and would not hesitate to go back for something else down the road.

My family attended a musical during the weekend, midday in the summer. We were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to access the building and how nice the facilities were. I did my research ahead of time and found out that admission does not include parking. This is correct; however, the attached parking garage did have event parking for a flat $15. We arrived 45 minutes before the event started and there was barely any line. After the event ended, it took us about 30 minutes to leave from the second level. The building interior was modern, clean, and had good AC. The bathroom was large and nice with multiple entrances. The building also included two spots for concessions, an indoor seating area, and souvenir area. There was a second story for access to the balcony and box seats and main story for everyone else. The only complaint I could field was that the seats were a bit small for tall people or heavier set people. The seats are close together, shoulder to shoulder wise. All in all a very clean, well organized, and well orchestrated event at a nice facility. I would definitely come back for another show or event.

Thunder Over Louisville!! It was an amazing experience! Great seating for the air show! Viewing the fireworks was a warm, exciting evening when the temps dipped into the 50s. The inside access all day and night in the KY Center included food vendors inside and out; clean bathrooms; and an inside stage featuring several bands with karaoke in-between. The movie theater played Barbie twice for all interested viewers. Consider this venue for 2025 Thunder Over Louisville!

What a phenomenal experience in the KFC Yum Center! My first time here for an annual summit is full of amazing surprises. Our full scale 3-day conference accommodated over 5000 attendees, special musical performances and a multitude of digital marketing media. I was there for the first game back in '10. It was the first exhibition game. We had suite tickets from the President. Sorry for the brag, but it was awesome & I never get stuff like that. I grew up in Freedom Hall, watching all the greats. I love Denny Crum. He always kept us looking so classy. The Yum! Center is not quite as classy, but it is a top tier arena.

Went to see Elevation Worship and it was amazing!! Get there early though if going to a concert they do move people through pretty fast but the earlier you get there the better. Prices for drinks are of course expensive but that's about normal anymore. It was easy to find our seats and they had tons of people there if you needed help.

Awesome! Place to watch a concert. Although good luck finding parking for under $25. So by the time you buy concessions, your ticket and parking, you've probably spent $200 a person if not more depending on the price of the ticket The bad part about it is when something's not going on. Parking is is five to eight bucks

A friend and I visited on 3/29. It's a small museum but definitely recommend it. Our tour guide was fantastic. He had so much energy and we could tell he cared about the content. It was great learning about Edison and seeing some of his inventions in addition to the light bulb. The tour was well worth the visit!

Excellent place to visit if you are interested in Thomas Edison and his many inventions. An informative docent guides you and even plays music on several phonographs as he demonstrates their workings. Edison lived here a short time when he was 19, working as a telegrapher until he was fired. Come visit to learn the full story.

This was an amazing place to visit. The guide was so kind and so knowledgeable. There are so many of Edison's inventions here to see and it was amazing to be able to touch a few things, hear some of them work and just hear the stories the guide had to share. A stop we absolutely recommend making!

Cool but not that cool. They have a ton of information about the legend but he only lived here (rented) in one of the bedrooms for a very short time. So it’s not really or was it ever his house.

Todd was a fantastic host. He was very knowledgeable and had a fantastic sense of humor and was great with getting my kids involved and interested. It was a lot of fun. My 13, 12 and 10 year old loved doing the Morse code.

Tom Sawyer park is a "must see" with a lot of scheduled activities. The Fluke Airfield in the Park hosts the annual Wings for Kids model RC Air Show every June.

It's a great park, a lot of places to walk at, and they hold different events all the time so you never get bored!

A beautiful park with multiple entrances and options, they have an aquatic center, BMX trails, soccer fields, tennis courts, archery range, running and walking paths, etc. It’s usually moderately busy but never have I seen it crowded except in the picnic area closest to the main building.

Park was clean, well kept, and enjoyable. My daughter ran a cross country race there and it was an enjoyable experience to be able to spend some quality bonding time on the beautiful playground there. Unforgettable Memories for life were created there. Outstanding job to the park crew. Thank you.

They have something for just about everyone, a playground for the kiddos, small outdoor gym for adults, tennis courts soccer fields, a 1 mile gravel walking loop, a 1.25 mile trail to hike that is absolutely gorgeous, archery targets, and an okay pool for the hotter days. I would say try to avoid the trails shortly after a rain due to how muddy they can get, but if you can handle the mud, the creek is an absolute delight to listen to from the trail

From a photographer's perspective, this is a great place for couples sessions! Parking lot is easy to find and meet up with clients. Different areas of open fields and wooded areas, and you can bring your dog! Pretty colors in the fall and beautiful sunset views. Always enjoy seeing the deer roaming around as the sunsets.

What a nice park! Lots of close to the grass parking, I mean LOTS of parking. I came after 5pm and there were hardly anyone it seemed. Big expanses of lush grass, porta potties, pretty trees, easy to feel out in the wilderness here. Came to fly my power kite but no wind today. Took pics instead.

Cool strip in downtown Louisville with bars, restaurants, and live music. Definitely seems tailored to college students/young adults but still a fun vibe. Right by several hotels and the convention center.

This venue houses many restaurants and bars and has an open area for live music. I stopped by on a Saturday evening and DJ Hummingbird was spinning music and had the whole block moving.

Beautiful! There was a band, there are bars, and you can even ride a mechanic bull! Must be 21 to enter after a certain time and they card at entrances.

This is where one of the most amazing night takes place. I really enjoyed the music, foods, culture and much more. The festival takes place once a week I guess. Do come and visit the place. Highly recommend.

While I did have a blast, you're writer Elaine from four months back stands CORRECT. The staff at PDR had open seating roped off. Just last month. I noticed you replied to her saying seating was no issue. Perhaps you should slide in unannounced one weekend evening . Trust but fact check... They don't want to clean the areas so they rope them off and do not allow seating. That is a FACT , noted at both of my visits over the past month. I may try them one more time because the staff was nice, atmosphere was great and my friends live it.. when they're allowed to be seated. No biggie if we don't get to sit down. Whiskey Row is awesome too and may be better suited to a certain class of individuals that both enjoy and are willing to pay for a seated experience, even if VIP. Staff at PBR were professional and nice. Not enough to support your prices, nor the culture of the area PBR is located in. I think what I'm trying to relate to you is they didn't really seem to embrace the idea or goal of getting returning customers by providing a wonderful SEATED experience. There's nothing more frustrating than going into a restaurant bar or grill seeing many open tables. Much less seeing ropes in front of them. Forcing us to stand up and have our drinks. I am in my 40s, it's not like I have to sit down. I have a little bit of class and like to sit down to enjoy some of my $15 cocktails that I purchase at your establishment. No they do not let you sit at those tables consistently. As a matter of fact we were asked to get up from a table at 12:30 at night and was told that that section was closed it was not roped up. Several people had just exited the booth. Whiskey Row is pretty great, I would bear that in mind

WOW!!! Amazing Brandy and Gin in downtown Louisville!!! Fantastic find!! Stopped in for a simple afternoon cocktail.. and thanks to our amazing bartender Whitney.. we enjoyed delicious drinks!! He was fun and very knowledgeable.. highly recommend!! The views from the rooftop are incredible!!

I want to start off ny recognizing Collin (our tour guide) and Snoop (his furry friend that joined us). They were both amazing, Snoop just chilled with us everywhere we went and Collin took great care of us! Copper & Kings is a much visit in Louisville. When a company known for its Brandy can make it in a town know for is Burbon that it saying something. The company was recently sold to a local (ish) gentlemen after being apart of a much larger chain (I won't split it to much). Their creativity and mastery in the craft is bar none. Did you know agitation in barrels could be performed with Metallica and Run DMC? Yep, you read thst odd sentence correct. C&K does not put their barrels on a ship and sail them around the world. The play a great playmix with huge speakers and amps at the barrels to achieve the same end result. The building was painstakingly resorted and coupled with the butterfly rescue courtyard area their place is beautiful. Don't miss out on this tour and tell Snoop and Collin we said the orange is wrong we agree and fingers up pew pew! You know if you know.

Visited Kentucky during Burbon & Beyond. Stopped in to check out Copper & Kings. The vibe was great as well as the service & cocktails. The venue is kept immaculate. Bought a bottle as a gift, it was so good. I recommend this place anytime!!

This was an amazing trip!! The staff is so friendly and informative. I was soo excited and got to be a part of making a glass pumking, they have a wonderful show room where you can buy all kinds of art and the price range has some things for every budget. From 10$ to 1000$ they have a nice cleane bathroom and a water fountain.

Staff was very helpful and kind. Great experience. Took my husband for his birthday while in Louisville on vacation and he loved making his own bourbon glass and I did one too. They turned out really cool and we couldn’t wait to have a drink out of them. Steven really encouraged our creativity and was a great way to start our day. Plus it was very warm in there compared to being outside! I had made a “reservation” in advance and was able to schedule the ideal day and time for us. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent experience! Had a party of 9 for a design your own experience. For starters - Staff was prompt with responses for scheduling and were great at following up. Then in a fun and organized fashion-- we had a party of 9 through the process in less than 90 minutes. We all learned a lot and have a great (functional!) keepsake from the event. Many thanks to the expert artisans who talked us through the process and were willing to answer all of our questions.

Had an amazing time making galaxy paperweights. Adam helped us make them. We got to play with the glass and mix the colors. Adam was great at explaining things and answering questions. I would highly recommend doing this experience. The paperweights turned out great!

It’s a nice place as of 2025 it’s $7 which is fair. I went thru very leisurely and spent just under 2 hrs. They only had 2 floors open which was a little disappointing. I really enjoyed the Gee Horton exhibit his drawings are incredible and his story was quite interesting. The gift shop had some cool stuff but it was a bit pricey in my opinion, but I will admit that I have little understanding of the time or effort to create. That being said I left feeling good. Most of the art I found spectacular. I will go again. I donate a little extra. Don’t forget to go to the back of the ground floor where their youth area is located. There were some unbelievable art by school age kids.

Beautiful museum and wonderful art. First floor had a gift shop/coffee shop and a creativity center for the children. The second floor had a continuation of the dresses from the first floor. The third floor had canvases if beautiful art work with a local artists working on a master piece. Very friendly, clean, and amazing place.

I ordered the Belly Buster, definitely a solid option, very well elaborated, good flavor and excellent presentation. was my first time at the place and honestly no complaints at all, te service was great, all the workers are very friendly and open to help you in case that you needed. PD, the place is gorgeous, the design of the store is perfect, colors, furniture, lighting, everything on the space looks nice. Congrats!

Its cheap and the gift shop area is really cool. Good cappuccinos here too. The viewing rooms are somewhat odd. One room had a tiny bit of history on Louisville parks. The other was an expensive ikea type area. They get 4 stars though because its cheap to visit. The front reception area persons are really nice. Clean bathrooms, cool shop area trinkets and the cappuchanchans are top notch.

I walked in. They act like I was invisible and spoke to the person behind me. I had to get their attention to ask about a piece of art. Not friendly I was totally ignored. I won’t spend money in a place that refuses to recognize me even as a customer.

I wasn't interested in the tour, but my hubby wanted to go so....I actually enjoyed it and even bought me a bottle of honey bourbon that was recommended by the African man...I'm sorry I didn't remember his name, but he was very knowledgeable. We were in town for my mom’s birthday and had some time to explore the downtown distillery. We’ve been on a few bourbon tours in Lexington and Bardstown, but this one was definitely the best. The tour was super well-organized, with a deep dive into the history of the Louisville shipping port, Eval Williams bourbon, and the Shapira brothers. Our tour guide, Dennis, was also incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. It was a great way to learn more about my hometown, and hearing it from someone so knowledgeable made it even more special. If you’re in Louisville and have an hour to spare in the downtown area, I highly recommend the Evan Williams bourbon experience. And if you happen to get Dennis as your tour guide, you’re in for a treat!

Louisville isn't just about the Bourbon; it's the people. Visiting from Seattle, I was continually struck by the warmth and genuine friendliness of everyone I met. While the whiskey is the main draw, the hospitality elevates the whole experience—a sentiment that was profoundly true for our tour at Evan Williams. We chose the Speakeasy Tasting Experience, and while many tours cover the history and process of making bourbon, this one was in a league of its own thanks to the fully immersive, in-character staff. The adventure starts downstairs when your guide selects a volunteer to approach a solid steel door. The secret password? You knock "with purpose" and tell the man inside you're "friends of Louie." Stepping inside is like walking straight into the 1920s. The speakeasy-style bar instantly sets the mood, and the "show" begins while you're served top-notch bourbon. I won't spoil the rest, but the acting and storytelling are phenomenal. Having been on over 40 distillery tours across Kentucky, I can confidently say this was, hands down, my favorite to date. If you're in downtown Louisville (LooaVul), this is a must-do. Just a heads-up: book your tickets ahead! We saw people turned away while waiting. For logistics, the gift shop is on the second floor, and the main bar is on the third. Cheers!

I thought the Evan Williams experience was ok... I was little disappointed when we came in and it wasn't really big and it was disappointing to know that the distillery wasn't there... A lot of videos to watch which I personally didn't like... But with that said you could tell there was a lot of work money put into it... It felt more of like a museum tour which is ok just not what I was expecting... We went to the gift shop and it felt very packed in a small area... The tastings were ok... Got to try the different Evan Williams bourbons...

Highly recommend visiting this place if near Louisville! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with many details. The history is interesting. We booked a tour, and it was a fairly small group. If you don’t book a tour, I’m not sure if you can enter the house. However, you can walk around the house and see gardens etc.

This plantation is well worth a visit. The house is in historically accurate condition, down to the carpeting and paint colors, china and many of the furnishings. The house and the tour were fascinating. Lincoln lived here. A member of our group is a descendant of the family who owned the plantation and is a docent here. We learned so much and appreciate that we could visit Farmington.

The Farmington Plantation is a very informative and interesting piece of Kentucky history. The guides do a wonderful job of bringing in all aspects of a plantation and paying respect to the enslaved people of the plantation's history. There has been a tremendous amount of work that has gone into bringing the plantation to life as it was in the 1840s down to exact wallpaper and carpets in some places. There are even some original items 200+ years old from the Speed family of the plantation. The 2 hours flew by and we appreciated the knowledge and passion of our tour guide for bringing the history of the Farmington Plantation to life for us today. Knowing we crossed a threshold (the exact piece of wood) Lincoln once did was humbling.

We attended a wedding at Farmington last night and are so very impressed. The grounds are beautiful and the pavilion and carriage house set up perfectly for events. The staff is extraordinary - so responsive and helpful and friendly. There were a number of pivots that had to be made and they handled it all with grace and efficiency. And most meaningfully was the assertive way that the plantation's history is being more deeply understood and the stories of its enslaved people being addressed. To be able to attend an event that celebrated love, inclusion and community at a place with a history of unimaginable heartbreak was initially challenging, deeply introspective, and ultimately worth it, because love always wins in the end.

A hidden gem! I grew up within an hours drive of this place but never visited. I’ve visited many, many historic sites and had never been to Farmington Historic Plantation until now. It was a treat! History, by itself, can be dry and boring, but placed in context with others who lived and interacted with a particular subject is all it takes to draw one in. Our tour guide made that connection with Abraham Lincoln and other notable and recognizable families from this area being featured as part of the tour. The architecture is straight out of Thomas Jefferson’s playbook (or a very close copy), so if you’ve ever been to Monticello, Jefferson’s home in Virginia, you will recognize many features of this home. Though Farmington is often used as an event venue today, don’t hesitate to come for the tour of the home. Kentucky was considered the frontier in the late 1700’s and early 1800’s with more primitive log homes and accompanying farms. This was a home of great wealth during Kentucky’s early history and well worth exploring. It’s truly a treasure that is tucked away in what is now a modern day neighborhood. In fact much of the Bardstown Road area was originally a part of the 500 acre estate.

We enjoyed the tour of this historic plantation. The tour starts with an introduction to the property and the connection to Abraham Lincoln. Then, the guide takes over and starts with walking up to the main house and giving us information along the way. The guide was really knowledgeable and put a personal touch by telling us his thoughts about the family and home as well. It is not the most grand home we've toured but definitely a nice stop if you're in the area. And if you are really into Abe Lincoln, it's a definite bonus. They are still working on updating some areas of the home but to have several items original to the family and home. Be advised that you can not take pictures inside the home, but you are able to take as many as you want outside. The outside tour is on your own, but they do provide a map of the property. We spent approximately 2 hours on site. That includes walking the grounds after the house tour and looking around the gift shop. The tour itself was closer to 1 hour.

This is a gem in the heart of the city. Lots of history here. The home is well cared for with time period furniture and a very knowledgeable guide. Abraham Lincoln spent time here and was a close friend of the family. The tour was the entire main floor and then the lower level also! It was approximately a 2 hour tour. So much information.

The church was absolutely gorgeous. There was construction going on outside the building which dampened things a little bit, but the church itself was so beautiful. I've only ever seen pictures of this type of place. It was nice to actually be inside of one. The staff was very nice along with one of the parishioners we spoke. We didn't do the audio tour so I can't speak for that.

On Mondays they are only open from 11:00-13:00, so plan your time accordingly

A beautiful cathedral, inside and out. It was a short walk from my hotel when I visited Louisville, so I had to visit. I love the architecture of historic churches and cathedrals and this one did not disappoint. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

What a beautiful and historic cathedral! They have helpful pamphlets in the rear to explain the significance of the different portions of the church. The ceiling in particular was beautiful to look upon!

This place is great for gathering with friends or family when in the Highlands. The atmosphere is good and the staff is friendly. The drinks are prepared well (good bartending). I wouldn't call it world-renowned food but this is good pub fare for me (my wife went with me and wasn't happy but I enjoyed what I ate). They always work to keep the place interesting with lots of events always going on - too numerous to mention, just check their schedule, you are sure to find something going on. I forgot to get a picture of the back deck but go up the steps at the rear if it is evening or cooler out and you feel like eating or drinking outside.

OUT OF TOWN REVIEW - While traveling down to Tennessee from Ohio our party stopped in Louisville for dinner. We weren't prepared to find this gem ! The first thing we noticed was the tight knit welcoming vibe as you walked in. The two young gentlemen behind the bar (possibly brothers ?) were super welcoming. The menu was unique and fun . The food was amazing. The tots were crisp, burgers juicy and melt in your mouth , they have a chocolate milk drink that will have you wanting more. All the community events were posted leaving us all agreeing we'd have to stop back up on the trip home. On our second trip stopping back we actually got to see some classical music playing love which was incredible . The food held the same amazing standard. The whole vibe was amazing and felt like setting out of a movie. Definitely the place to stop if you're passing thru !

Update: 2.21.19 - This was a 1 star review until today. After then owner contacted me and was gracious enough to provide me with a gift card for a second try, I figured there was nothing to lose. I must have visited this place last time on a bad night because the restaurant that I went to today is 100% different from last time. The food was amazing! This time around I had the Loin-ee-pops to start, they where tender and juicy and delightful. I didn't think they where worth the $10 but definitely something to try. I had the Ruben and my boyfriend had the fish sandwich, they where tasty. The Ruben was perfectly sliced and the house made thousand island dressing was on point and the fish was fried to perfection. I will be back! 1 Star review: Boy do I hate giving 1 stars but sadly sometimes you just have to. I ordered the black bean burgers and I have to say it was one of the worst I have ever had. I was eating refried beans on a bun with lettuce and onion. There was no flavor and it was mushy beyond belief. My best friend ordered a penne and sausage dish that had more salt than the ocean and was accompanied by a sad portion of sausage. I guess the only good thing was my best friend said her Manhattan had a heavy pour and tasted delicious.

Always a good time and a good meal here! We had the Pasta Diablo extra spicy with sausage, and the Fajita Nachos. So yummy!

My daughter suggested we try this spot. The food was excellent as well as the service. We had the soft pretzel sticks and cheese. Super tasty! My mom and daughter both had the Mac and cheese. It was really good. I had the Reuben, which was amazing. The tots were amazing as well. I got two non tot eaters to share them with. I think they would have stole them they are that good 🤣. Nice venue and a fun Christmas performance with Patrick Fitzpatrick. The food was appetizing as well, but the room was very chilly on a cold winter night.

Interesting place for the right person. Went in to grab a beer and maybe some college football. Instead had a few drinks and watched a Disney movie. Prices were decent and drinks were strong.

The show that I have seen here through the years is great and it's always been welcoming. The bathroom situation was uncomfortable for my wife I feel the should be a 3rd bathroom added. But my true issue is there inability to check seating and to make sure when someone pays extra money for front row that they receive what's paid for. I am not he only one having this issue just the one that is mentioning it. This needs addressed and to be handled better.

Beautiful art work and the show was simply wonderful. This place is a vibe but it's time for a seat upgrade. The seats are definitely not Big girl friendly.

The show we saw was Incredible!!! FDRs Very Happy Hour is an amazing interactive dramatic funny play featuring Regan Linton as FDR. Set as an actual happy hour, there's a bar, we are led through a series of thoutful clever moments and exercises, that culminate with an incredibly poignant moment at the end when FDRs wife speaks to him about the lesser good things that happened in his life and presidency. This play, and the space, are completely inclusive to all people of disability. Ms Linton uses her experience as a wheelchair user to illustrate inclusion, community, and how to find solidarity in the people around us. So impressive, so moving!

Incredibly thought out and beautifully designed to make sure every single seat ( which are comfortable and have more room to accommodate all sizes and shapes that us humans tend to be) feels like it is front row and "VIP" even though it's not. Perfect for an intimate experience with the entertainment of your choosing.

We attended the Tribute to TS in Louisville. This was an amazing experience that made a core memory for both my daughter and I. First, all of the staff at the venue were so incredibly nice and engaging. We were the first people there and talked to several staff while we waited. Everyone seemed so happy! The customer service was on point. When the concert started, it was beyond our expectations. The musicians were wonderful and we had a great time, especially on the last song (a breakout of singing and possibly some chair dancing). :-) Afterwards, it was an honor to somehow get an invite to meet the musicians. They were kind and gracious and fawned over my daughter who was over the moon to meet them. They truly made this a memorable night. Everything about this night was perfect.

Have seen numerous shows here. The theatre is great, they constantly refresh their shows (if you don't like a recent adaptation, wait a season or two and a new crew will reinterpret. It helps keep the classics fresh and interesting).

Best overall experience on our Trip! We only did the tasting experience, but got plenty of information about Peerless and their process. The guided tasting from Martin was top notch! His enthusiasm and passion for his job was authentic and created a great interactive experience for us. They had the best overall tasting line up out of all our stops (self-proclaimed Rye Guy). We had a great experience at Peerless. Its a little out of the way but still easily accessible in Louisville, a couple blocks ftom Michters and an easy walk. The visitor center is nicely decorated with a good array of merchandise for sale including some specialty bottles only available there. We picked up quite a few. We were there for the tour and a tasting. Interesting history. After the tour we went into the tasting room which is nicely decorated. We got to try maybe 4 samples, I can't recall. Corky happened to be there and came in to say Hi which was so nice. That doesn't happen many places. We really enjoy Peerless bourbon and enjoyed the experience.

OMG we love this place. In all honesty I wasn't a huge fan but we went last year and they totally turned me into an advocate. Our most recent trip was just as great. The history and vibe of the building is worth the visit alone. Add in the people and the whiskey, that's a pretty solid recipe. Their single barrels are absolutely fantastic and worth a try. I love their rye. Grab a tour, it will totally be worth it. At a minimum, stop in and grab a bottle. They have a really nice gift shop. This is at the end of whiskey row. You can easily walk it. We walked there and then grabbed an Uber on the way back so we didn't have to lug 5 bottles back.

We jumped off the plane and our first stop had to be Peerless as I have always wanted to go here. The staff were incredible, the Bourbon and selections were out of this world. I must say that the best part was meeting Corky the owner and him signing a bottle for me. Thank you so much for not only signing the bottle but sharing some personal stories with us. If you ever need a "Colorado Peerless Ambassador" I am up to the job!!! Thanks for making it an experience to remember.

I visited 7 distilleries/tasting rooms during my two-day visit to Louisville. Peerless was disappointing. If you don't do a tour, you can have a sample or pour except on the half hour. We decided to wait around 20 minutes to try a couple. Each one oz sample was $8, and the two of us were in a private room with an employee who poured the bourbon. There was no discussion about the bourbon or distillery. Furthermore, I know two of the bottles they were selling at the distillery, I can buy locally in SC for $15 less.

Awesome tour. Christine was an outstanding tour guide. Tour provided an abbreviated history spiced with a little bit of science, a taste and explanation of distillate by one of the distillers, and ended with some wonderful tastings. I’ll definitely be keeping Peerless in my bar.

Amazing experience! David gave a fantastic tour — not only walking us through how Peerless makes its bourbon, but also what makes them different and the history behind it. The highlight was meeting Corky Taylor, the fourth generation owner, which made the visit even more memorable. Highly recommend Peerless to anyone visiting Louisville!

Excellent bar on the 3rd floor overlooking the city. The bartender was great, very friendly even though she was in the weeds. The best selection of limited release whiskey I have seen on the bourbon trail. They also had a cocktail flight that my wife loved.

My very first bourbon tour! As someone who does not drink dark liquor OR having a drink “neat” this was definitely new for me! Our tour guide, David, was fantastic! All his jokes were a hit! I appreciated the detailed tour! I had a lovely time and would definitely be back! I learned how to drink bourbon and now I feel ready for next time. Highly recommend got a modern distillery experience! (Their cocktail bar/bar upstairs was great)

I love the view here! Open spaces with lots of Windows, the drinks were amazing and the presentation was on point. Wish I would have had a chance to take a tour but they did not disappoint with hosting our larger group and quickly taking care of us.

A wonderful tour! The boxergrail has always been my favorite (the boxergrail single barrel is absolutely a must). Don’t skip the cocktails at the bar upstairs! The gimlet is one of the best cocktails I have ever had. This is such a fun, tasty, and exciting tour

This was our second visit to the distillery in 2 years. We really enjoy the atmosphere...the bar on the 3rd floor and outside seating is very relaxing. We sampled 3 of their limited series bourbons and despite liking them all, purchased one. If in Louisville, I wouldn't miss this one.

Rabbit Hole was the first of four distilleries we visited while in Louisville. We really enjoyed the tour - it was informative and interactive. The curated bourbons we tried were very tasty and we enjoyed being able to try them in a group in one of the private rooms. Definitely recommend visiting!

Great place to hike, bike, and even fish. This is a nice place to bring the kids. The playgrounds and trails are great. my favorite part are the multiple ponds. They stock the ponds with catfish in the summer months. There's also a ton of bluegill and you may be able to hook a bass. Very clean and safe park.

Beautiful park! We take our pups here for a walk in the evenings. Lots of trails and beautiful scenery for photography.

Excellent and well maintained park , maintained by Gheens foundation.It has multiple parking lots , soccer court, lawns , children play area with facilities like swings,slides, rope climbing , water sprinkle play area etc. A fresh water stream with streamlets add beauty to the park . Cross country walking paths with full canopy coverage makes it a life time experience . We could spot a deer in the strem with rere birds . Park has lodging facility to stay during nights. Food court, restrooms walk ways make the park a lovely place for the fitness , amusement , family gatherings etc .

Great community to take your dogs out to. Everyone is very friendly and the trails are amazing!

Beautiful and absolutely fantastic trails among the scenery and gardens. Paved trails and wayside gravel side excursions. Absolutely fantastic for walks, bike rides, and running. All age groups out enjoying the trails. Also has a beautiful creek under a cool bridge!

Nice venue, especially for weddings. Would look even nicer if some of the areas were power washed and the vines trimmed for outdoor weddings in the courtyard. Parking was full and not sure where any more cars would have gone if more attendees. Easy to find off Lexington Rd.

Whitehall Mansion is a historic site in Louisville, Kentucky, which offers guided historical tours and where many weddings and other events are held. They have a wonderful garden that is very well maintained and free to visit that is open from sunup to sundown except during private events. Parking is available behind the mansion.

My team and I have worked many weddings at Whitehall providing hair and makeup services (The Beauty Patrol). I love that there’s a designated space for us to provide services with good natural, lighting and plenty of counter space to set up. In addition, the photos of weddings at Whitehall are always top-notch. The gardens are a lovely spot for weddings.

Love this place so much. Frequently visit just to roam around outside, especially as the seasons change and especially when the peonies are blooming in the garden in spring. It’s beautiful! And the grounds are kept up very well.

From a professional wedding photographers perspective, Whitehall is the perfect venue. The garden area is absolutely gorgeous for a ceremony. The fact that the couple can get ready, get married and have the reception all at the same venue makes it easier for the couple and their guests. Not to mention, the entire grounds is filled with beautiful flowers and trees. (A photographers dream!) The indoors is stunning too, with plenty of options for photos in the case that there is a rainy-day wedding. From my experience, the staff was very kind as well. 5/5 for me!

This place was so quaint and so quiet I really enjoyed the leisurely stroll in these gardens. The woodland area is amazing and so well maintained.

Dock was closed, judging by the overgrowth it’s been that way a while. Stairs were seeped in mud, must have been some major flooding. I wouldn’t expect it to open back up. Maybe next year if metro can spare the tax dollars. The rest of this place is fine, under construction and noisy from the tools. Some dinky gardens, although it is the end of the season. Couldn’t find much in the way of trails around the banks. Didn’t take the tour. Generous 3 stars.

Wasn't intending on going to the landing at first. I came here to run some of the Louisville loop. But decided to have lunch on the banks of the Ohio. This is probably one of the most peaceful places that I've visited in a long time. I'm happy that it's in my city. If you need some place to go for a good quiet time, then this tops them all.

I love this place. It's a great place to escape everyday life. From the museum itself, which is amazing, to the back porch rocking chair sitting, the river veiw, they have pavilions and restrooms that are always clean, beautiful flowers located in the front of the building, walking paths and my personal favorite, a stairway that leads directly to the water. They also have family events such as trunk or treat, pioneers day, and other small community events to encourage the community to visit. It's great watching the sunset while my kids enjoy walking the banks and playing on the sand. During our last trip there, the stairs were completely emerged from all the rainfall. Yet, still very beautiful and peaceful.

The Waterfront Botanical Gardens is one of my favorite locations in Louisville for engagement photos and weddings! Couples who appreciate nature and modern architecture will absolutely love this space. The Water Wall is a serene and calming sculpture that makes a beautiful background for your wedding ceremony. At golden hour, the sun beams through the water wall for stunning wedding photos! Guests can explore the gardens during cocktail hour, enjoy appetizers and refreshments by the Plaza Fountain, and see butterflies visit the pollinator garden. The gardens are well-maintained, and everywhere you look there are vibrant plants and flowers that make a wonderful backdrop for any photos you take! Free botanical trail that includes a variety of flowers and shrubs, as well as a few different, beautiful waterscapes. It is not large by any means (probably one acre has been developed), but it appears the site is still a WIP and under construction. It is also free to visit (for now). Parking is easy and generous. The only downside is a nearby freeway, so some of the peace and tranquility is definitely lost in the sounds of semi trucks and motorcycles speeding by. For now, it’s about a 20 minute leisurely walk, to the end of the trail and back.

This was our first time time at the Waterfront Botanical Gardens. We went for the bonsai tree show. The gardens are absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend a trip here. We bought a T-shirt to help support their plans. Also, the personalized bricks on the walkway really pulled at my heart strings. It was one of my favorite parts of the visit. I really hope they get there bc it's going to be stunning.

Went on a Saturday afternoon had a few hours to kill. Is a neat way to connect with nature in a very industrial part of the city. The parking lot is gravel, and the walking path is paved. All of the plants seem well taken care of and expertly trimmed. There is a decorative fountain next to their little event center. And there is also a connection to the local hiking trail down the hill.

This is a beautiful place for a leisurely walk. We entered the gardens through the gate on the Butchertown Greenway. The scenic path winds up to the main level and includes many plants, flowers, and even a water feature. Once at the top of the trail we enjoyed the sprawling gardens and additional water features. The gardens are perfect for families and people of all ages.

This Botanical Garden is only on phase 2 of construction but so far it's quite lovely. Plants are healthy and well-labeled. Handicap accessible with lots of classroom space and interesting activities. Not yet much shade until trees grow bigger but it's going to be beautiful. No admission but suggested donation of $10 that can be made with a QR code at entry.

Tickets are not required but they do ask for a donation. No one is checking to see if you donated so there isn't a obligation. Beautiful walk through the gardens, not overwhelming at all. Plenty of shade for sunny days.

The Louisville Nature Center is a great venue for corporate walking events. They have several trails that provide beautiful scenery, fall foliage, wildlife, and souvenirs to remind you of your experience there. I spotted turkeys, dear, birds, and other animals amongst all kinds of trees during my recent visit, which made my trek on the "Red Mile" even more memorable!🦌🦃🦅

Took the Red Maple trail before cutting over to the white oak trail and thankfully we did because otherwise we would've passed out from exhaustion! Hard to believe there's a 7.5 mile trail in the center of the city but the white oak trail was beautiful and well cleared , not much wildlife around when I was there but definitely a hidden gem if you like easy going hikes.

Very beautiful trail walk. Lots of flowers and tree tunnels. There's a little pond but no fish. You can still walk here even when the nature center is closed but no restrooms when they are closed. Definitely a hidden gem in Louisville. Will be coming back! Plenty of parking. I went on a Sunday around 1230-130 and it was a nice day and still only a handful of other cars.

I hiked solo. It was pretty easy with the map and as guided. Extremely serene. There’s a playground for kids and great for family hangouts, picnics, group/ solo hikes

Louisville Nature Center, located right in the city, is a great place for peace and tranquility. It has woodland trails, and a beautiful natural garden. So convenient! The employees there are so helpful too.

The trails are easy to handle but long enough to take a while. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Nature School is a wonderful experience for the young children. Today my Granddaughter had so much fun getting muddy...pulling a rope to climb up a slippery wet dirt hill, hanging from rings, scrambling through fallen trees going uphill / downhill, cooking in the mud kitchen, hearing stories, climbing old large tires, running, such a treat to join her and watch her learn and get fit!

This place is awesome and CLEAN! The inside looks like "paradise" is what my 7 yr old said! Ideal for children 5 yrs old and up. My 7 and 9 year old had a blast. Many activities to choose from. Friendly helpful staff, food was good. The place is big enough to were even though it was busy it wasn't hectic. Definitely recommend and will return!

Very disappointed. Parents aren’t allowed to monitor their kids inside the Bounce Beach climbing/bouncing play area, which feels unsafe. On top of that, the carpets are filthy and full of stains (see photos). Yet kids are required to wear socks instead of shoes, meaning they’re running around on dirty, unsanitary flooring. Malibu Jacks needs to do much better when it comes to safety and cleanliness.

Building is in an old Walmart, place is huge! We bought a pass 5 for $25 once we arrived nice gentleman said you can ride each ride up to 5 times, wow ok then, then named all 5 rides included, spend the $75 dollars. Walked the 3 boys all around, 2 rides were little carnival “roller coaster” style rides 2 boys rode, 1 didn’t like the spinning, desk clerk didn’t mention laser tag, bumper cars,X movie, or go cart rides didn’t open until after 4:00 during fall break? So the only other thing was golf which none of the kids wanted to do. I asked can I trade the ride tickets in for the $25 arcade tickets? I will pay for the one ride for two kids? He refused said I already used them, I SHOUKD HAVE SEEN ONLINE THEY WEREN’T OPEN UNTIL 4:00, told cashier to give me $10 arcade card and walked away. So I paid $75 for two little rides! He find an attendant for go cart but the same kid can’t ride because he’s too short, Explained I should have seen the height chart at the front door when I entered. Used the $10 arcade card on Wizard of Oz, all the winnings kept falling into the bottom of the machine, when asked the said ticket credit when on my card, but card was at zero balance, opened up machine that had just been cleaned out, it was so full of metal coins, plastic coins and a card! Jipped all day long! We ended up eating in the cafe, which was surprisingly good, pricey but good. You only get 5 total rides, NOT 5 each as we were told word for word, so we had to spend another $75 once their rides opened up. Spent $300 to kill time until rides opened up, left with a candy and little toy gun… So be educated and prepared parents I sure was not!

Great place for indoor fun and all day full of great memories with the family. All day Lazer tag,putt putt gulf,bumper cars& go karts,bowling,rides &games.great food.and DRINKS. bounce house's and slides and climbing activities for the younger ones. Fun for all ages.can plan birthday party's for that special one to have all day fun.the prices will knock you out. incredibly cheep cheep. Most importantly it is a very clean apmaspher. Love this place.

Even for an 18th birthday, it was still an awesome experience for a party count of 24. The area was cleaned, the food tasted good, and was decent sized portions. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Planning another party soon.

We took our kids here after a weekend at a music festival.This place is absolutely amazing.All of the rides are awesome.All of the games are fun.And the price is incredible for the amount of things you get to do. They even have bowling lanes and putt-putt .We will definitely be back.Thank you, malibu, jacks, for an amazing time

Birthday party was a success! The kids had lots of fun. The party reservation staff communicated with me via text and email multiple times prior to my reserved date to verify everything and go over options. Party staff on site were helpful. The check in process was quick and easy and everything was set up as discussed. The value is about the same, if not better than other options in town like the trampoline parks etc and I believe the staff is a lot more attentive and professional than I have experienced that those places. I would definitely recommend.

I've lived 30 minutes away (at best) my whole life. I've only been going here within the last 3 years. This place is a hidden gem of a venue! Staff is super cool. Beer prices & food are slightly more than other venues. My wife loves how convenient and reasonable, clean the restrooms are for a concert venue. My wife also loves that she has a seat to set in (if she wants). There's really not a bad seat in the place (in my opinion).

What a great venue! This was my 117th Indigo Girls concert and definitely a top 10 venue. Everyone was so nice. Easy parking. And the concessions were super convenient - you can see and hear the stage while in the beer line. I’ll be back!

I went to the Pumpkin Spectacular. This was my second time visiting. Another year of cool pumpkins along the pathway. I would suggest a scooter or wheelchair if you have trouble walking or standing. I can appreciate the time and effort that went into the planning and coordinating of this event. You all did a great job!!

Parks Alliance hosting the Jack O Lantern Spectacular was amazing! Great time for the whole family! Don't miss it!

The amphitheater is great, we saw Cinderella/Tom Kiefer and LA Guns and the sound was nice, very intimate concert environment. Overall the place is great. The lines to merchandise was a cluster, but I got a shirt. The alcohol sales was a joke. We were first in line and wanted jack and coke, but the "manager" informed the bartenders, although they had jack, they couldn't open it until all of the old open bottles were empty. That's ridiculous to say to a customer. The jack was sitting right there and they wanted the Evan Williams empty before they serve the Jack. It was a joke. The manager was cocky and thought he had the power.

Great outdoor venue. I've seen a bunch of concerts at the Amphitheater. They bring lots of different national artists and bands in.

Had a good time friendly staff and some good Music. Saw Iron Years, and oh the Decor was great as well.

I got for the goth stuff! Tons of events, always a bar, great live music, great djs. They have vendors and a little market sometimes. Saw a band all the way from Chile. Packed on weekends, low key on weekdays. Goth haven

The entertainment was top-notch. The service was excellent. I have never been here for one of the regular shows. My friend rented the place for his amazing birthday party and hired some of the regular performers to perform at the party. The cocktails were just ok and Mojitos catered, so the food was excellent as well. It's a very, very cool spot.

Cool venue, we saw the Va Va Vixons show last night. The only reason for the 4 va 5 stars is the lack of parking. There is no parking lot, so you must park along the street. With a large event like the Va Va Vixons show, we had to park several blocks away because it was so packed.

I went yesterday to see "Ruthless! The Musical" My experience was great! Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was open and welcoming. Cool building for shows and the play was fantastic. Stellar cast. Will be back for more! *Google only allows one review per business. Editing original review for my 2nd experience at Art Sanctuary on May 4th 2023. Today I went for a concert and saw Spike Hellis, Buddy Crime, & Control I'm Here. Great bands, great staff, and great atmosphere. They have a second spot in the back for when bands perform that I was unaware of from my first visit. Awesome place!

We had our wedding reception here. Everything was great! The beauty of the water tower spoke for itself, so we only needed minor decor for the tables. All members of their staff were great throughout the whole process from the initial tour to our final day-of walk-through after the wedding.

It was awesome. The buildings were beautiful. The river was too. We got to see the holiday decor across the river.

We took a tour of the water tower, Crescent Hill Reservoir, and water treatment. Very interesting history on how it was and what they do now to make safe clean drinking water for Louisville. A critical resource for any community. The water tower has a small museum that is worth checking out.

We happened to visit on day this place was closed but the literature we found easily, explained in plain English why we didn’t get to visit more of what we did see. Must plan ahead before visiting.

I had been to Louisville dozens of times and had never heard about this historic and uniquely ornate water tower. What a gem that sits along the shores of the Ohio River north of Louisville!

Nice park with plenty of parking working water fountain just in case you need it. Another nice thing is electric outlets in the parking area; not sure why, but that could come in handy. You will learn history about how they used to pump water for urban use, and how they do it today. You will also learn some pearls about water filtration and just how many people live and rely on the Ohio River. This is a peaceful place to stop, even if the museum isn't open.
