Museums
The Pensacola Museum of Art, located in the historic Old City Jail, showcases a diverse range of art from different periods and cultures. Visitors can explore an extensive collection featuring 19th, 20th, and 21st-century artworks as well as tribal and African pieces. The museum's building itself is a noteworthy attraction with its Spanish Revival architecture. From glassworks and paintings to sculptures and handcrafts, the museum offers a rich variety of artistic expressions.
wonderful museum, great staff, and beautifully presented exhibitions that are changed out often, with wonderful quality in each one. events are great and well organized and planned. highly reccomend a visit here! must visit in downtown pensacola!

3/27/2025: Small art museum in the historic district of Pensacola. I’m not a big art gallery person, but this self guided tour was part of the full ticket we purchased, so we checked it out while we were there. It took us about 25 minutes to see all the exhibits. It’s worth the time to check it out.
Lauri B — Google review
Admittedly, the museum is small, and its current layout may feel limited. At the moment, only one floor is open, mainly showcasing local or regional contemporary creations, which may not appeal to all visitors. There is a small engraving by Goya and a piece by Gallé, though these are discreetly placed and easy to overlook. I remembered, from a visit about twenty years ago, a respectable collection of 19th-century American paintings that I found of real interest. It's unclear whether this has been moved or replaced temporarily, possibly to make room for the upcoming exhibition (apparently focused on aquatic themes, based on what's being prepared upstairs). Of course, this is only a matter of personal taste. I hope that the museum’s promise of being “more than a museum,” as stated on the poster outside, will be realized in future exhibitions. For now, I personally found the current offering rather underwhelming. The French-language signage is somewhat tucked away in a back corridor, currently closed to children’s activities. That said, the staff were very welcoming, admission was reduced (6 instead of 12 dollars), and the ticket is valid for a week and also gives access to other museums in the city—which is a definite plus. The temperature inside, thanks to the building's history as a former prison, is pleasantly cool.
François L — Google review
This art gallery currently has some interesting but very disturbing works on display (August 2025). I couldn’t quite understand the motivation behind the exhibition, which felt more suited to a dedicated contemporary art venue.. especially because the pieces have such a provoking character. The “Duality” exhibition on the second floor was intense. For example, one piece showed a twisted, uprooted tree hanging from above, and beneath it a torn-up patch of grass resembling a grave, where several maggots were arranged around two dead hands. This is not for children… my son, looking at it, couldn’t understand what he was seeing. Personally, I also found the “church tank” and some hanging udders difficult to take in within the context of a city museum. I don’t feel that the Museum of Art is the right environment for these works, and I wouldn’t take my kids back here. Ticket: We got a combined ticket for the Museum of History, the Art Gallery, and the Historic Village.. $12 for adults and $7 for kids. It’s a good deal if you want a first look into Pensacola’s culture and history all in one day. Museum Store: yes

Art Mueseum is small went through it in about 30 min. You also get admission to the History, Industry, Commerce and Childrens Museums plus a tour through the Historic Church and Homes they offer 3 times a day.
Kari B — Google review
Very small, very personal exhibition with a few nice pieces and a historic setting inside and old jail. The centerpiece down stairs was basically the highlight of the trip. The lady at the front desk was nice and sociable and there was an art class during my visit that was full underway.
Michael R — Google review
This is a very nice museum and staff. The location is great and it was my first stop and where I learned that I could pay $10 and visit other museums as long as I had my receipt. It last 7 days except for the ticket bought on Sunday. That ticket is only $5 because only 3 museums open and expired that day. The special exhibit is the Seance by American artist Shannon Taggart. It’s quite interesting and helps to see how others think etc. There are paintings on the 2nd floor. They are by different artist. There is a gift shop. I love art and if you are the same, highly recommend touring this museum!
Dr. R — Google review
We visited on Labor Day Saturday. Parking is along the street means you may have a bit of a walk. Buying entrance to one historical area, gives you entrance to a number of others in the area. Very good value for the money. Downstairs has some nice pieces. Upstairs is for the touring exhibit. A very nice museum for a smaller town.

Museum
Historic Pensacola Village is an 8.5-acre historic downtown area featuring 28 preserved buildings and museums spanning from colonial times to WWII. The City of Pensacola has planned improvements to enhance the safety and accessibility of Zaragoza Street in the village, including raised pedestrian crossings, ADA-compliant sidewalks, and curb extensions.
I recently had the pleasure of taking a guided tour at Historic Pensacola Village, and it was an incredible experience! The tour was well-structured and led by a knowledgeable guide Carly who brought the area's history to life with engaging stories and insights. We explored several beautifully restored buildings. Each site was filled with intriguing facts and artifacts that deepened my understanding of life in Pensacola during different time periods. Carly made the experience both informative and entertaining. I particularly appreciated how she encouraged questions and shared personal anecdotes, which made the tour feel more interactive. The village itself is beautifully maintained, offering a lovely setting for a stroll between stops. Overall, I highly recommend the guided tour of Historic Pensacola Village to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the rich history of the area. It’s a fantastic way to spend a few hours and truly appreciate the stories that shaped this beautiful region.

We were pleasantly surprised by all the houses on the tour. Our tour guide was a kind young man who knew an incredible amount of details. It was fun following him through these historic homes. We were there a week ago while traveling from SC back to TX. We were happy to finally make it to the historic Pensacola Village. I think Christ Church had an interesting history. We barely scraped the surface of all the stories to be told here. Everyone working here dressed in clothes from a long ago time. Well done Pensacola. Our tour guide was a University Student and did such a phenomenal tour for all of us. He told us so many stories. His stories brought the old homes to life as we wandered through.

We had an amazing experience at Historic Pensacola Village! For just $12, we got a 2-hour guided tour plus access to the Historic Museum, Art Museum, and more — and the pass is good for 7 days. Our guide, Seven, was outstanding — knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about sharing Pensacola’s history. The tour was well-paced, the exhibits were fascinating, and everything far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Pensacola!

Our tour guide was Melissa and she was great! Very interactive and knowledgeable. We definitely got our monies worth. Very inexpensive for a 2 hour tour. Enjoyed it tremendously! We recommend this tour. There is so much to see and the ticket is good for 7 days!! Are you serious??? That's amazing. Day 1 - Do the tour Day 2 - Go to the beach and enjoy all the activities the beach has to offer - kayaking, jet skiing, parasailing, sailboarding, sunbathing, mini golf, etc. Day 3 - Do a dolphin watch or a fishing charter Day 4- tour the area restaurants and check out the rest of the buildings/museums and have a day of it Day 5 - finally, a day at the pool/beach just relaxing.

Amazing tour of some fascinating sites. Melissa, the tour guide, gave great insight and phenomenal energy. She definitely made the tour exciting. A must-see attraction for anyone interested in the history of Pensacola. I’d ask for Melissa:)

We absolutely loved it!!!! We stayed at Rusty Acres Farm, Cynthia and Scott were amazing hosts, there dog Sam was my companion from the moment we arrived ❤️. If you love the laid-back feel, this is a great spot.

This was a wonderful tour and very enlightening and educational. Chase did a fantastic job walking us through and giving us a line-by-line history of the formation of Pensacola. Loved it!

One of the coolest things to do in Pensacola! Gale was a fantastic tour guide, she is a former teacher who had so much knowledge about the location and area. She made the tour very interesting and engaging for everyone. She never failed to make us laugh! We learned so much about the vast history of the area. Great for families and kids as well!

Museums
Pensacola MESS Hall is an interactive science and engineering museum where visitors can conduct real experiments. It's a great place to inspire young minds to think creatively and stay curious. The museum offers engaging learning activities that help develop critical thinking in children, making subjects like math, engineering, and science more interesting.
A great place for kids to have a hands-on learning experience. There are creative stations/exhibits to explore subjects like science and engineering. Clean and well structured!
Valentina H — Google review
The Mess Hall is a gift that keeps giving to Pensacola. It provides great opportunities for young and old to learn STEM concepts in a fun and communal environment, with routinely changing events and interactive experiences. Learn something new with each visit. The staff is engaging and informed, particularly Ariel, who has always been patient, kind and genuinely invested in ensuring kids have fun and learn new things about science and the world. Definitely check this place out with your family.
Chris P — Google review
Teeny tiny little powerhouse of a science museum. We loved the mess menu that included activity kits for the kids to do. I don't think I've ever seen such a small yet mighty museum. Got in free with our ASTC travel membership but made sure to buy a bunch of stuff from their gift corner including some take home mess kits! Keep up the good work guys!
Sierah B — Google review
3 years ago we came and fell in love with Mess Hall. 2 years ago we came back and didn’t realize it was the week they close to get ready for summer. Last year we were out of the country. If you are a parent reading this - you know it means my kids (now 10 and 8) have asked for 3 years when we are going to make it back to Mess Hall. We made it back today and I can confidently say we will be back again! We spend hours here as a family and no one asks for an electronic or says, “I’m bored.” Highly recommend! There is something for everyone!
Erin S — Google review
I’m sorry to say that I was very disappointed in our visit to the mess hall. It cost $30 to get in for an adult and a four-year-old. 90% of the exhibits far exceeded the comprehension of a four-year-old. The condition of the exhibits was very disappointing. The large blue foam blocks that my grandson played with were filthy. I Applied hand sanitizer to his hands multiple times. The fishing poles for the little fishing game only had one that had a magnet that actually was strong enough to pick up the fish. The marble run exhibit had many pieces that were cracked and needed to be replaced. Ex- 2 L plastic bottle pieces. Plastic dishes containing objects to view under the microscope were badly scratched and interfered with clear viewing. The music bench did not work properly. The staff that was present did not engage or explain anything when I did ask a question she didn’t even bother to come out from behind the counter to explain or show us how to do anything. I feel I wasted $30. There should be different price levels for age of children if you are going to have so many exhibits that they don’t understand. Again, very disappointed in the experience I won’t return
M M — Google review
This place was awesome! My 5 yo had a blast. My 2 yo enjoyed the river. We were here for two and a half hours and did science experiments the whole time!! Great activity for a windy beach day. Can't wait to stop by next year and see what new things we can get into when we can read ourselves. Thank you to the awesome staff who was there to answer any questions and to suggest new mess kits for us to try out. My oldest even asked for more supplies to make her own creation. Loved it! Great stop!!
Sarah W — Google review
This place is wonderful!!! The staff are all super helpful! The science experiments and hands on learning stations are great for all ages, my 4 and 6 year old had a blast and my husband and I did too!! We will definitely come back when in the area.
Hillary A — Google review
This place is truly great for all ages! Just keep in mind that some activities may only engage really young children for only so long before they are ready to move on to the next thing, however, there is enough to do for all ages. I went with our nieces ages 6 & 14 & our 20 year old daughter and all of them had fun. There are optical illusion things to try out, a little room with an abundance of slides to place under a microscope that shows you what you see on a screen on the wall, lots of activities even within this room. The bigger area has different activities that vary from wind tubes, table with water, sand, & rocks so our girls were able to create a dam, marble run was the mist time spent with the youngest two & loads of fun, & activity craft table with an abundance of options of crafts you can do as a family! Visit their website to see complete listing of activities and for only $10 per person (they also have military discount) was amazing for this SUPER educational place to go. One hour is NOT enough time to get through everything and we will be going back. Next time I'm taking my hubby because this is all right up his alley, but seriously just so much fun. If you like to watch "how this is made" or things that explain science-related facts, this is a fun, hands-on way to learn at ANY age. It's 1 floor, room for stroller, tables/chairs to sit down if need to rest, & friendly/helpful staff. Seriously, so fun!

Palafox Street in Downtown Pensacola is a vibrant and charming destination that offers an array of experiences. From high-end boutiques and jewelers to the Palafox Farmers Market, there's always something happening on this renowned street. It has been consistently recognized as one of the best streets in America, boasting an impressive selection of shops, restaurants, bars, breweries, coffee shops, and historic architecture.
By sheer dumb luck my first visit to Pensacola was on Saturday when there's a multi-block crafts/food market. Lots of buskers, too. I began walking into town from the pier just to find breakfast, but I wound up spending the entire morning and early afternoon on Palafox! Lots of bike racks, benches for sitting, and most important --- TREE COVER!
Stephen P — Google review
Love this area. So alive and busy. With the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The laughter and chatter all around you with beautiful weather and everyone going thier own ways and doing their own thing. Really is a beautiful thing. So jump in the scene and live a life serene. The trees, the park, everything in between. The art, colors, all so freeing. This is the place to be if you believe, if you agree get out there and go see. 👀 it's a great place to be.
Megan S — Google review
Beautiful place of history about bars restaurants and stores . Great place and great people.

If you're looking for a weekend getaway, Palafox Street Downtown has a little bit of everything. One stop at Bubba's ice cream shop is enough to keep you coming back. And, trust me, one scoop in a waffle cone is plenty.
Paul S — Google review
First time going and my family and I had a great time visiting all the stalls and the people were very friendly. It was quite busy but not too crowded and settled right in the heart of Pensacola, definitely worth a visit!
Daniel L — Google review
We visited the Palafox Market, it was very nice, many artists and food vendors. Plenty to see for everyone.
Elsa G — Google review
Palafox Street has regularly been named one of the 10 Best Streets in America and it never disappoints! Great shops, restaurants, bars, amazing number of quality breweries and coffee shops, beautiful historic architecture, museums, etc. What a great place just to walk around EVERY day or night, whether there are events in progress or not...and there are almost ALWAYS fun events going on such as Gallery Night (the 3rd Friday of every month), Festivals, Parades, Mardi Gras (which kicks off this Sat night at 5pm), Dog Friendly celebrations, Farmer's Markets every weekend, kid-friendly events, etc. If you haven't been to Downtown Pensacola yet...why not??!!

The Pensacola Children's Museum offers an interactive and educational experience for kids of all ages, making it a perfect destination for families visiting the area. The museum features various exhibits such as the Panton Trading Post, Lavalle Cottage, Fort, Native American Village, Kiddie Corral, Galveston, Publix Super Market Exhibit, Colonial Classroom, and more. It encourages children to unleash their creativity through hands-on activities and imaginative play.
My son absolutely loved it here. Upstairs has a kids version of Publix, Drs Office (with an ambulance and CT scan machine), and old school classroom!! He LOVED 'grocery shopping' on his own, being a doctor, and a teacher as well!!
Emmy — Google review
My family visited the Pensacola Children’s Museum on April 8, 2025. My kids had an absolute blast and did I honestly. They have a small Publix grocery store which we all were enjoying ourselves before having to visit the small doctors office and laboratory on the second floor. On the first floor you will have a small fort, trading post, and little cottage. Definitely a great place for kids to explore and it’s relatively cheap entertainment for the kids and even better the museum tickets are good for 7 days for all museums.
Explore R — Google review
Very cute for its size. Kids had fun. Due to its location strollers are not allowed around the museum. They have a small stroller parking area in lobby. Only 1 elevators to use no stairs.
Connie C — Google review
Used my Pogo Pass and took my 2 year old to the Pensacola Children's Museum. He had so much FUN! We especially loved the mini Publix grocery store and the hospital. We spent hours playing. The staff did a fabulous job at keeping the place tidy too!
Rachel Y — Google review
Great children's museum, geared more towards young children I'd say 6yrs and younger..ticket price could be lower especially now that you pay to park, but it gets you into all the museums ..which dosent interest that age group.
Faithjoy F — Google review
It was great entertainment for my toddler! The first floor could use a bit of maintenance —-some areas need a fresh coat of paint and a small upgrade.
Inna S — Google review
So much fun! Took my 11 month old and my 1 1/2 year old niece. They loved it. I'm so glad they have a place like this for little ones to just be kids, be free to explore, and interact. Free if you're a student or have EBT/Snap, ticket gives you access for 7 days and to other museums. If you're looking for a place to take your crawling baby or walking toddler, this is it!
Carolina H — Google review
My 3 year old loves this place. It is smaller but the activities are age appropriate and fun to where she wanted to stay and go in and out of each of the rooms for hours. It's definitely worth the money. My only problem is that it would be nice for the parents to tidy up after their kids are finished with an activity so that the next child can enjoy it.

The Saenger Theatre is a huge and opulent theater located on Palafox Street in downtown Baton Rouge. It has been in operation since 1925 and is known as the Grand Dame of Palafox Street by locals. The theater accommodates more than 1600 people, and features Broadway shows, concerts, and classic films.
The Saenger Theatre in beautiful downtown Pensacola was the perfect setting for this amazing event... Seeing William Shatner in person was a real blast and the front row seats definitely made it even better and worth the extra cost... No matter the event, this theater is beautiful, historic, and a great place to be in. Get your tickets for whatever event you wish and experience this classic location.
Greg R — Google review
Beautiful venue and acoustics for musical concerts and other performing arts. Just enjoyed the 100th year celebration of the theater. There's plenty of affordable paid parking and restaurants in the general area of the theater
Larry A — Google review
Saw the showing of Beetlejuice (the movie) here. Super cool venue with tons of seating and since it was general admission we were able to try lots of different angles. There were a few cons to the experience. Firstly the theater “Marshalls” did nothing to keep people from talking incessantly. I get that it is an older movie, but there should be some level of decorum kept. Secondly, they cut off booze sales with about 30 minutes left in the show. I understand there might be liability issues, but everywhere else downtown lets you drink till you leave, so it just feels underwhelming to get cut off with time restrictions. Overall a net positive, and would definitely return for future events.
Jrock — Google review
Went last night to see Gary Allan. We weren't told that there was an opening act and a far as the sound and lighting went, apparently the theater wasn't told either. We were only able to see who was singing for the last two songs. We still don't know who it was but they had a couple of nice songs. When Gary came on everything was good for the first song. We had really close seats and were excited for the show. But, apparently any and everyone is allowed to stand and dance at their seats. The staff would not make the people in front of us sit down. The only actions that they took at the beginning of his part of the concert was to try(didn't happen) to stop people from recording and taking pictures. We paid the same good money to SEE him. But *ssholes in front didn't care that they blocked a whole section of us from being able to do that. I won't pay that money again for good seats, if I ever go back there, because they don't enforce any of the rules that they have. I was very disappointed as we have seen concerts at the Mobile location and they were great.
Alicia O — Google review
Beautiful theater! Seems like no "bad" seats for view, but they could have had more leg room...my knees hit the seat in front of me (I'm avg size). I guess it's a product of it's age. Very nice volunteer ushers! Overall great experience.
Mel Y — Google review
Beautiful theater, lots of history there. We watched the Rock orchestra by candle light, loved them! The theater chairs were very uncomfortable, and small, we were packed in there like sardines. I know the building is old, the air quality was lacking, it brought on an asthma attack. Had my inhaler in the car, so it was ok. Would I go again? Yes indeed. However, I will plan ahead, and be mindful of the seating, and take allergy meds prior to going, and have my inhaler with me! Lol

The Graffiti Bridge in Pensacola, Florida, is a 10-foot tall bridge that has become a prominent local landmark. Initially considered a crime, it now showcases the city's authentic spirit through ever-changing free art. Visitors can enjoy various designs ranging from nature-inspired to avant-garde. The bridge has also become a popular setting for photo shoots and other activities.
The ever changing artwork is so amazing. Love checking it every so often. Seeing what is there really is this city talking, in my eyes. No one covered up that Easter art for a good while. Heart warming.

Awesome and Relevant Local Art Display!!! It also includes a lock fence area for couples or family memories. Graffiti seems to get updated every so often, so I will definitely be back. Current art this week included pieces for Ozzy and Hulk Hogan.

Really neat idea. Enjoy just observing artwork and messages or add your own as well! Gravel parking for maybe up to 20 cars. Just to be aware, not a smooth surface, but a natural pebble and rock walking surface.

I love Pensacola. The Graffiti Bridge area is soo beautiful and serene. With people boating or jet skiing or painting something quirky on the bridge, it's such a fun representation of our beautiful town.

The graffiti bridge was amazing beautiful colors and everything little walking paths and I advise if you come here bring a lock and lock it on the fence.

This is my favorite place in Pensacola. I like to think of it as the “catch and release” of art. I think about the good creative energy from every person that has come to add another layer to the bridge giving it a moment of theirs to express themselves freely. I like to see each layer of seemingly ongoing collaborative paint chaos like rings on a tree. It’s a place that doesn’t discriminate, available 24/7, it has an ocean (gulf) view, it’s all ages, great creative space to create small or big masterpieces. I recommend anyone that visits or stays here to go add to the layers of art at least once. Art saves 💛

Splash City Adventures is a thrilling destination that offers a variety of amusements, including go-karts, arcade games, and laser tag. Nestled next to a water park, it features 12 slides and seven pools, with interactive play areas for young children and a 750-foot endless river. The park also boasts the Pirates Cove galley restaurant. Visitors can enjoy go-karting, mini golf, laser tag, and arcade games in addition to the water attractions.
Ray , Speedy and her name started with a K i believe forgive me for forgetting, made a closed water park day a memorable day! The lightning kicked us out of the water side, and these 3 played music, musical chairs, sang my girl happy birthday! They really made their day a fun one!! We've never been disappointed in our service here but today was an outstanding one! Thanks guys !!!!

It’s a fun place to visit and the ride options are great. However, said rides are not well maintained and do require some work. More specifically the Go-Karts which are fun, but some are slow and some are fast making it hard to compete with each other. All that being said you can have fun at the place and it has its own charm to it.

I took my 7-year-old to splash City adventures in Pensacola Florida a couple of weeks ago. Although it wasn't terribly expensive they didn't inform us that she was not able to ride on many of the slides due to her height. If I would have known that she was limited to only one or two of the water slides I probably wouldn't have taken her to that one. A lot of the rides were not operational we were there during the day. I was told it was due to staffing. The park is relatively clean although if it was mine I would dispose of a lot of the trash that they have in different places of the park where the patrons can see it. We did have a good time but we're the kind of people that always make the best of a situation..

Trust the negative reviews! A friend invited me to go here and i tried my hardest to convince her to aviod it after reading reviews. Against everyones better judgement we decided to give it a shot. One of those “If its awful At least we’ll suffer together” type trips. And well we did just that. We suffered together. Waterpark only review: (Because the rides from the outside looked so sletchy I refused to let me child ride them) When purchasing the tickets they ended up being more than what it said online. When brought up to the staff they said they know but “they just wont update it.” (assuming management) We walked in 10 minutes after opening and there was trash everywhere on the ground. The bathrooms had no soap. The toddler kiddie area: half the area wasnt in operation. In the portion that was working the water animal pumps didnt work. The netting for the little slides where off on all of them. Minor complaint however just take them off so there not dangling in the water trapping little kids legs and feet! There were water bugs. The lazy river had nature debris in it. Not just a few leaves here and there. An abundance of broken leaves and other particles. You couldnt stand up without having them stuck all over your body. We noticed that filters in the lazy river werent on or work. In fact the water was so low that there wasnt even a way for the water to get into the filters. The tubes were half deflated. The slides where rusty and slimy. One of our children did say “the slides are fun but the water is NOT.” It was grossing our children out. Children who normally dont may much attention. One area had a traffic cone IN the water. EVERY area we went to the water wasn’t clean and had MANY MANY bugs in it. water bugs (one who feed off algae. The ones who wouldnt be there if the water was properly maintained). We walked over to the aarcade area for the concessions there. It took over an hour to get pizza. The staff working while they were nice you could tell they didnt want to be there and were very forgetful and not paying attention. Half the games we looked at where also out of order. The bright side was that the bathrooms in here had soap! The saddest part about the whole thing is that this place has so much potential if the owners would just give it some TLC! I kept thinking about how i bet the place was so fun and so cool back when it first opened. I could imagine the fun place it was. I really hope the owners read all the bad reviews and use it as constructive feedback snd make the changes necessary! Ohhh also when purchasing tickets the lady at the counter screamed at everyone to be quiet and then proceeded to tell everyone to make their family go outside and wait until the tickets where purchased. The whole trip was definitely an experience I’ll never forget!

The impression I got is that this place is going out of business soon and they’re squeezing the last bit of profit that they can out of it. We went there for laser tag but it was out of order (no biggie). There was some sort of leak in the ceiling. So we did go karts instead, which was fun. High school kids are running the place on a weekend, which is probably normal I guess. So many things are broken at this place. I gotta say we won’t be going back until the next business takes over.

Fun, Family-Friendly Spot with Great Staff — Minor Upkeep Needed We had a great time overall at Splash City! There’s something here for all ages, and our whole family had a blast — especially floating around the lazy river and going down the blue waterslide, which quickly became everyone’s favorite. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Special shoutout to Delo for being so welcoming, and to Jennifer, the manager, who handled everything with professionalism and kindness. It was also reassuring to see several lifeguards who were alert and actively monitoring their assigned areas. They offer plenty of chairs and tables for guests, along with a generous amount of shaded areas — especially appreciated by seniors and parents with newborns. The sand play area was also a great addition for little ones to enjoy. That said, there are a few things to be aware of. The locker rental machine wasn’t accepting cash during our visit, and the water in the slide pool area (where the four main slides drop into) was noticeably green and could use some attention. One of the large red slides was also out of commission due to a broken step. Some areas of the park appear worn down — with broken boards, exposed cords near buildings, and chipped paint on fencing standing out. While it didn’t ruin our experience, it’s something management might want to address for safety and appearance. Still, if you’re looking for a fun and affordable family outing, Splash City is worth the visit!
Tisha F — Google review
First 60 seconds of being in line for tickets, staffer or manager (unsure) yelled at all parents and children to, “Everyone get out that aren't paying for tickets!” Some parents and single parents yelled back saying they're not sending their kids outside with them. Tickets are sold by height. Second, the ticket prices online and the ticket prices at the park are different. They don't HONOR the price online and state, “Well, they haven't changed it yet!” Third, half the floats in the park are under inflated or flat. Fourth, we ordered food and it took 1 hour plus for our food. I was asked multiple times what we ordered because they forgot. The pizza was trash, undercooked and doughy in the middle and the staff was more interested in getting drinks themselves from the fountain machine than remembering and working on our order. Fifth, very few employees actually act nice and are helpful, the rest seemed not to care at all. Honestly, if I could give a negative star for here, I would.
Jacob S — Google review
If you’re looking for a post-apocalyptic amusement park experience, this is the spot. Most of the attractions were either broken, boarded up, or just sad to look at. The go-karts felt like they were built during the Cold War and hadn’t been touched since. Pretty sure one of them coughed when it started. The mini golf course? More like a soft, spongy lawn with some broken sticks pretending to be obstacles. Half the holes were missing anything remotely fun. One had what looked like a collapsed windmill and a squirrel living in it. And the bumper boats—oh boy. They’re floating… technically. They’re sitting in a greenish, mysterious swamp that smells like expired salad dressing and regret. I saw a frog take one over. No joke. Save your money, your sense of dignity. And save yourself. Burn your map if it leads here. Go home, hug your family, and be thankful you didn’t buy the “all-day pass.” Only good thing I can say is most of the people that work there were very polite and helpful. So if you’re looking for new friends you might find that here.

We hiked 7 miles covering numerous trains within the park. The trail was nice, but a bit boring. Also, the sand on the trails - in many places - were quite loose making it somewhat difficult to walk.

The Breckenridge nature trail was a fun trail to hike through. We saw some wildlife. The observation point overlooking the bay was great. The visitor center was closed. Make sure to have bug spray on you to keep mosquitos and flies away.

Regarding the NW portion of the park. There is a picnic area and bathroom facilities. The bathrooms were closed during my visit. It could have been due to the freezing temps the night before or just a season thing. The part of the trail I walked was mostly soft sand. At the first west boundary there is a gate and it appears this is a regular entrance for people. I certainly plan to revisit at a later date to explore the other parts.

Had the best time here! it was a little expensive for what we got but I don't regret spending the money. Wasn't too crowded but we got there early in the day by the time we were leaving it was getting a bit crowded. we took 2 boys with us ages 3 and 6 and they loved riding the go carts, driving the smaller go carts, operating the machines and playing a round of mini golf. we visited in July so it was extremely hot outside but we still had a blast! would definitely recommend and will visit again one day!

Was a blast!! I recommend getting the souvenir cup for slushies, they go down really easily on a hot day with refills being $2 instead of nearly $6 for a single cup. The banana slushies tastes just like the Popsicles! We had an absolute blast doing the track for all five of us, came inside to cool down with the arcade, then back outside to put-put. Our 13th birthday boy said it was great and that's all I could have asked for!

Park
Bay Bluffs Park is a 42-acre nature preserve located along a scenic highway. It offers various features such as walking paths, pavilions, and striking views. The park's main attraction is the 800-foot boardwalk trail that challenges hikers with its crooked path through thick forests leading up to the beach. Despite Florida's flat terrain, this park provides an upward hike with great views over the water from the top of the bluffs.
Very beautiful, half way down there's a path that leads to the water

Beautiful place to walk! I would rate it 5 stars if it wasn't for the rampant graffiti. There is hardly a place on the whole boardwalk that wasn't covered in spray paint. It looks like it's been covered up multiple times, but to no avail. Still, a nice walk and a nicely upkept place. The graffiti served as a nice read while I was walking, I might admit. I would walk here again, but the graffiti means I could not walk here with smaller kids or anyone under 16. Great place for a workout though!

Really neat spot just off the road. Just have to walk down the Boardwalk, (definitely needs to be fixed in spots so be careful) walk down by the water and just a nice place to walk around and pick up seashells & different rocks. You do walk over some railroad tracks that are still being used so be careful.
Dayna G — Google review
Great beach access park they did an awesome job of building a huge boardwalk. Please keep it nice and do not spray paint all over it find something more intelligent to do. There's also a great workout station with pull up bar, sit up bench, and balance beam. Blackberry plants growing everywhere here, the thorny vines with the white-light pink flowers.
Tara P — Google review
Really loved the boardwalk and the water access. Some stairs need repairs, so be aware. Graffiti adds a certain atmospheric touch, whether that is good or bad remains to the viewer. Nice niche spot to go for an easy walk.
Hannah H — Google review
At first, we thought this was going to be a short walk(0.8 miles round trip). The boardwalk descends downward, then travels along side the bluffs. We were able to leave the boardwalk and travel along a nice walking trail. Also, there were a few paths leading down to Pensacola Bay. We decided to walk along the beach. It was a cool day, but the views of the Pensacola Bay were worth it.
Tamara — Google review
There is nothing more beautiful than being out in nature and the Bluffs is really really perfect. With different levels of stairs for you to climb and look over the Bay, it's tranquil and peaceful. And then all of a sudden here comes the train right along the waters edge. Bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it with your family, guaranteed to keep the kids entertained and wear them out!
Ingrid R — Google review
Nice family activity! The walk is not too difficult and there is a lot to look at. Unfortunately, some people feel the need to write all over the boardwalk's railings, but it is still a beautiful walk. The walk is fairly kid friendly, but NOT stroller friendly due to the stairs and narrow boardwalk. The beach is hard to get to though because you have to leave the boardwalk.

History Museums
The Pensacola Museum of History, located at the University of West Florida, offers a comprehensive exploration of northwest Florida's history and culture. Housed in the historic Mediterranean Revival architecture of the former Pensacola City Hall, this flagship museum features exhibits, artifacts, and programs that showcase Pensacola's rich heritage since 1559. Visitors can explore timelines, view famous ship anchors like Don Tristan DeLuna's, and experience rotating exhibits on the second floor.
On February 1, 2025 me and my wife visited the Pensacola Museum of history. Virtually no one was in the museum which was absolutely find with us as we had the entire place to ourselves with maybe 2 other couples. The entire museum was very quiet and peaceful. I have been to a lot of museums and I will say while this museum isn’t huge it does have a lot of artifacts that you can interact with and get up close to. The staff if very polite and the pricing of the museum was very cheap. We spend approximately 3.5 hours taking in every exhibit in the building and even got to play some ping pong on the third floor. Though we will probably only come back if we bring the kids once you have seen everything I probably wouldn’t come back unless something big came here. Well worth he the price, rich history of the city settlement in America, recommend everyone take time to visit the museum

3/27/2025: Good information about Pensacola and laid out nicely with displays, 3 stories, and separate rooms. We bought the ticket for the full historic district tours. It was $12 per adult ($7 for kids) and you can use the ticket for 7 days. I reviewed each piece separately for a better understanding of what you see in each section. I’ve been vacationing in Pensacola Beach since 1975 when I was a baby. I’m glad I finally got some history of the place I love so much!

This museum offers a unique glimpse into the history of Pensacola and its people. Known as the “City of Five Flags,” Pensacola has a rich story, and this museum gives a clear overview of the major steps in its past. It’s easy to explore for kids, though younger ones might find it less exciting since there’s a lot of reading across the two floors. If you want to dive into Pensacola’s history, it’s a great starting point. There’s also a charming museum store with unique items … and the little bar is absolutely adorable.

While In Pensacola for a work trip I stumbled upon this absolute gem when I had some free time. There is a tremendous amount to see and learn. Tickets are only 12 dollars and there are a few guided tours each day. I was lucky enough to go on one of these tours with Chase as my tour guide. For over an hour I got to go into 3 different historical houses and a church to learn about the area’s history and notable residents. I was the only person attending the tour but nevertheless Chase was awesome in giving me the full guided experience. Getting to actually go into the furnished buildings and learn about the history was a truly unique experience. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Pensacola.

Most fun of any museum visit today! The lady at the front desk was wonderful and the 3 story exhibition is a great mix of history, culture and fun. Especially enjoyable are the sports section that includes original Roy Jones Jr. Memorabilia as well as the history of ping pong as well as the recreation of Traders Jon's Bar. There is so much there to stimulate the senses and decades of war things to enjoy. Plus I have to add that the price of admission is very inexpensive.
Michael R — Google review
I like the design of museum and how inviting it is as you walk up. It’s not cluttered and it’s well organized. There is a nice store to purchase souvenirs and other items. I like that the way the history is displayed and I loved the exhibit on 3rd floor; Black Politicians During Reconstruction. I appreciate this display because it’s a very important part of US history. I also LOVE the Trader Jon’s display. It’s set up as his restaurant. He was a very interesting man and they think he had the most rides with Blue Angels as a civilian. I think he didn’t charge for anything but traded with those in military. And he treated all the same regardless of rank. Seems like a great man! I highly recommended visiting this museum if in the area. Don’t forget that you purchase a $10 ticket at the Museum of Art and can visit all museums. It last 7 days. The ticket on Sunday is half price because only 3 museums are open; Children, Art and History. But only good for that one day! You have to go see what this city had to offer!

Had a marvelous night at the PLT last night! It started as I was greeted by Micheal in the Box Office. I’ve volunteered and seen many shows at Emerald Coast Theatre Company in Destin, so I was really excited to learn about PLT. First time experience, I had no idea how much bigger it was over ECTC! Like whoa! I’m already planning out where I’m going to sit next time I visit. The sound was clear and vibrant. The show was amazing! No one missed a line, the cast brought everything “to the round table” and left no scraps… as the kids say, “They ate.” …Indeed… New favorite place in Pensacola.

Went to see Improvable Cause this past Saturday. Had an amazing time. I have been coming to PLT to see them and other shows for over a decade and always had a great experience. Never had any issues and the shows are stellar! Extra shout-outs to the troupe and PLT Security. A group of clearly-inebriated women came in and loudly talked in the audience disrupting the show. I was behind them and had a hard time hearing the performers. IC approached them discreetly to ask them to tone it down. When they were escorted out, they barged back in and tried to disrupt the show again, where security promptly came in and guided them out. Very professional and prompt!

Went to see Cinderella for my daughter’s 6th bday. We left early after being asked several times why the step mother was played by a man. The man was wearing a corset, makeup and a full on beard. On top of a lacy purple robe. Super disappointed that she was exposed to that confusion. Wouldn’t have been a big deal had we’d known we would have never purchased tickets. There was no way of knowing until we got there.. Don’t push agendas on my kids.

The Museum of Commerce, located on Zaragoza St in Pensacola, offers a unique glimpse into the commercial life of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The museum features a reconstructed streetscape with twenty different buildings showcasing various shops selling toys, hardware, music, household goods, and more. Visitors can explore an antique gas station and a traditional classroom designed to resemble a train station.
Coming from outside of the USA this was a pleasant surprise. A great historical place referencing Pensacola's past. I was here for the Radio Live event and it did not disappoint.

3/27/2025: Cute displays of old time businesses in Pensacola (or everyday America years ago). This was part of the ticket we purchased at the museum of history. They only have a few displays, but it was worth the time. Took us about 20 minutes to view.

This was the single most lamest exhibit I have ever stepped foot in ever. Kind of looks cool but has zero interactions and is just boring. The AC was kind of nice for a bit after a walkong tour of the historical village.

Florida has a habit of grouping smaller museums together in little complexes full of vintage items packed into historical buildings for a reasonable price and this one is no different. Its tough to measure these museums on their own since if you're visiting one its likely you're visiting all of them in the area. This museum focuses on industry and has a stem lab in it with tons of 3d printing equipment.

Awesome preservation of history. One of the only places I can find that displays and gives information on John F. Pfeiffer's (my great great great-grandfather's) bakery. I love seeing the unique little places that made Pensacola what it is today.

The Museum of Industry in Pensacola offers a fascinating look into the city's industrial history, showcasing the evolution of lumber, transportation, brick making, and fishing. Housed in a building dating back to the 1870s, originally belonging to the Pensacola Ice Company, this museum is filled with artifacts and exhibits that depict how these industries contributed to the city's growth in the 1800s.
Closed on NYE, but there’s a really neat old train out front. I’d love to go back and see the museum when it’s open, though you can walk by and experience some of historic Pensacola.
Cathleen V — Google review
Included in the tour is this informative gem that depicts the port of Pensacola's industry trade wonderfully with a few interactive exhibits (some of which are non-functional.) but did not ruin the experience at all. Even without a tour guide it was easy to stroll through and gain information about the area.
Michael R — Google review
I really enjoyed this museum as I had never seen equipment used in the older sawmills. It’s self guided and you can take all the time you like to walk through. It’s located in the same area as Lavelle House, Old Christ Church, Museum of Commerce, and Julee Cottage. The museum is put together very well and larger than I expected. I highly recommended visiting if interested in industry! Remember this is on list of places allowed to tour $10 paid to tour most of historic Pensacola. Such a great deal.

Vince J. Whibbs Sr. Community Maritime Park is a picturesque bayside park in Pensacola, designed to encourage an outdoor lifestyle and wellness. It features an open-air amphitheater, a baseball park, and ample green space for various exhibitions and events such as music festivals. The park also supports local nonprofits through its Volunteer Parking Program during Blue Wahoos games.
I thought this spot was a little slice of awesomeness. NICE park to stroll with family, partner, alone. There are some interesting features; a "winding" sidewalk area, a playground that i even played on at 50yo! (I always play on playgrounds. It's fun!!) A neat pyramid style wall/ garden area. It's on the water so there is a beautiful view. You won't be disappointed if you visit!

This is the most wonderful minor league park I've ever been to. The views, the staff, the food, the games... its just perfect. If you have a visit to Pensacola planned, make sure to add this to your to do list!! Go wahoos!

Love this Stadium, but the same holes are in The Net that were there last couple seasons. They need to be properly sewn/fixed vs a costly replacement. I miss the graphic chalk menu art from 2015-16, that was super inviting. The crowding after events (to leave) are concerning. More areas should be open to leave, to alleviate the "one way in & one way out" sort of traffic style. Crowded like the gory mess picture in The Bay (at the base of the parking lot) Again, I love this place. I hope outsiders don't come in changing all this, too, or infrastructural changes due to influx of new people overcrowding or place monetary parking to go to the park down the hill & around back, or the newly renovated Bruce Beach (like they did DOWNTOWN) LEAVE PNS alone, i say
Miss Y — Google review
This wonderful park is located right behind the stadium and is recommended for 5 to 12 year olds. The park is great for little climbers, includes picnic tables, and plenty of space to run around. There's also an awesome fitness court right next to the park so the adults can get their workout in while the kids play. It is also right on the water with lots of area for walking. Definitely worth checking out!

Absolutely perfect spot to celebrate the 4th of July! We brought a blanket and sat out in the open field to watch the fireworks, and it couldn’t have been a better view. The atmosphere was fun and family-friendly, with plenty of space to spread out and relax. The waterfront backdrop made the show even more magical. This park is beautifully maintained and a great community space year-round, but it really shines during events like this. Highly recommend visiting — especially on a holiday!

My wife paid for me to attend their brew tour that they offered, and the day of the event no one showed up at the meeting location to give me the tour that she purchased. I made several phone calls that day, and left a bunch of text messages, but no one responded. I’m thinking this particular event that they offered is a scam! Please beware if you see them offering the brew tour event! 🤬👎🏾👎🏾

SO much fun!! We had a group of 6 for a 30th Birthday and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our pedal trolley. Drew was a great host and DJ. We originally booked for an incorrect weekend (our fault) and we received a response very quickly with an update for the correct weekend. We brought our coolers but had plenty of stops for drinks we really didn’t touch much in our coolers. Definitely a must do in Pensacola!

You also will get a small discount at the local bars/pubs with your sticker. We recruited a local guy that hoped right on our trolley and helped us pedal. The late fall and early winter months offer a peaceful and uncrowded beach experience, perfect for strolling along Pensacola Beach.

Pensacola Beach is absolutely breathtaking and one of the most beautiful beaches in the U.S.! The sand is so soft and white it looks like sugar, and the emerald-green water is crystal clear and inviting. Whether you’re swimming, paddleboarding, or just relaxing with your toes in the sand, it feels like paradise. What makes it even better is the atmosphere. It’s lively yet laid-back, with friendly locals, family-friendly vibes, and plenty of great spots to eat fresh seafood right by the water. The boardwalk is full of energy, but you can also find quieter stretches of beach to simply unwind and soak up the sunshine. The sunsets here are truly magical, watching the sky light up in pinks and oranges over the Gulf is worth the trip alone. Between the natural beauty, the welcoming feel, and the endless things to do, Pensacola Beach is a place you’ll want to come back to again and again. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of relaxation and fun, this beach is second to none. 🌊☀️

We enjoy walking the peirs on vacation. This one was cheap and clean. There was free parking and restrooms close by. As always beautiful views especially at sunset and we saw a ton of sharks on our walk!

This was a very inexpensive way to enjoy the air and the views of the beach. Buy a bracelet and you can peruse the pier until 10PM for whatever you desire. Fishing is abundant, the breeze is great, and the overall experience is pretty decent. There are plenty of trash receptacles that people actually use, meaning the walk is mostly clean. As well as many, many seating options the length of the walk but not at the end.
Michael R — Google review
One of the cleanest beaches I have ever been too. Nice long pier. Fun to see what the fisherman are catching. Wonderful smell of restaurants cooking seafood. Really fun place.
Joe S — Google review
Pier itself is nice! Restrooms need immediate ATTENTION. Really disgusting! If you can go to the RR in your hotel before you visit the pier please do so!
Alma R — Google review
The pier is just like any other… A little crowded no matter what time of day you go and some people have no respect (loud music, smoking, yelling, swearing, setting up directly next to you). Nonetheless, it’s a gorgeous beach, the water is amazing and the sunsets are gorgeous. Within walking distance of multiple shops and restaurants, however I don’t recommend swimming around the pier as it is infested with jellyfish, especially in August, when I went you couldn’t even swim without probably getting stung. Definitely a cool place to check out!

I wish there was a zero star rating. The A/C was not working, roaches on the water fountain. Concession was closed by the county, and attractions were down. We had to go next door to Dollar General for a simple bottle of water. People should not have to pay full price for that especially for the cost of a ticket…
Franklin S — Google review
My son had so much fun, but I’d be way more likely to come back if they actually enforced the age limit in the toddler zone. There was a constant flow of older kids running through and doing flips, not paying attention to the little kids around them. I don’t blame the kids because they’re not going to look at the rules but if there was a staff member attending the area and not letting the big kids in, that would make the toddler zone so much more enjoyable. What’s the point of a toddler zone if it’s not enforced??

This place sucks! So... let me get this right. I was in line, about to get tickets for my 7 year old. I was told by the 1st associate they stopped selling tickets at 7.00 p.m. I was then asked if we'd been here within the last 6 months? I answered yes. Why ask me that IF you only follow thay up with her information has expired and we need to fill out the QR Code again? All the while, my daughter is meeting kids, making friends and wanting to play. We fill out the QR information, get BACK in line, only to be told NO, we can't allow you in because we STOP selling general tickets an hour and a 1/2 before closing? Ummmmm get BETTER "LieZone." I was told I was good until 7.00 p.m. It 6.44 p.m. when we were told this from associate no.1. Make sure moving forward the people you allow to work in this establishment are trained up, properly developed and all on the same page. It is now 6.54 p.m. They do not close until "8.00 p.m." The right thing to do instead of sending my 7 year old out in tears would have been to allow us entry and her to play. I'm a Regional Manager amd have been for 14 of my 21 years. We close at 6 p.m., but guess what... if consumers are at our establishment, we welcome them in because it's an opportunity to establish relationships and build rapport. Get BETTER 'LieZone.' And kudos for upsetting a damn 7 year old child. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

If you're on the lookout for an unforgettable family adventure, the National Naval Aviation Museum is a destination that should be at the top of your list. This impressive museum stands as one of the largest in its field, showcasing over 150 meticulously restored military aircraft that tell the story of naval aviation's rich history spanning more than a century.
The National Naval Aviation Museum is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and well-organized—from parking and entry to exhibits and signage. The layout makes it easy to navigate, even with kids in tow, and there’s something fascinating around every corner. The facilities are spotless and clearly very well cared for. The aircraft displays are pristine, the restrooms were clean, and every area felt thoughtfully maintained. You can tell the staff and volunteers take real pride in keeping this place top-notch. It’s an educational, inspiring, and enjoyable experience for all ages. Whether you’re a history buff or just looking for a fun and meaningful outing, this museum is a must-visit. Five stars, hands down!

Amazing museum! We went on a Friday morning with our 2 ½-year-old and he had the best time exploring the exhibits, climbing into planes, and flipping all the cockpit switches. His favorites were the simulator at the start and sitting in the aircraft. Admission is free, which makes it even better! There was a graduation going on during our visit but it didn’t affect our experience at all. Perfect spot for families — highly recommend!
Marclyn K — Google review
We were all very happy 😊 and impressed with our visit. To see these historic flying machines up close like this is awesome. We opted to take the guided tour and I highly recommend that. Our guide was excellent, but I'm confident all of them are since it's likely they are all experienced pilots and vets. Did I mention this aviation museum is FREE? We spent 3 hours in there, but you could easily spend the day.
Salvatore I — Google review
It’s wonderful! Huge!! There is a lot to see and learn. Admission is free! The tours are free! I’m guessing but I’m pretty sure they are veterans and they live to talk about their experiences in the military. They do suggest a $10 donation. We used google maps and ended up at the wrong gate. The museum is on base (so be sure all adults have real id) but the guard gave us the actual address and turned around. There is a cafe inside and a snack area which are purchased. There are flight simulators which are also for purchase. One is pretty tame but the others are pretty intense. It’s a bit pricy but worth it especially considering the money goes to running the museum. We visited both days of our weekend stay in Pensacola. If you have a pilot in your circle they would be enthralled. I highly recommend you visit!
Anne G — Google review
The National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola is nothing short of spectacular — an absolute must-visit for anyone even remotely interested in aviation, history, or just looking for an unforgettable family outing. The sheer number of aircraft on display is mind-blowing. From early biplanes to jet fighters and iconic aircraft spanning every major conflict — WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, and beyond — the collection is incredibly comprehensive and beautifully presented. It's a powerful visual journey through the evolution of naval aviation and military history. What really impressed us was how family-friendly the entire experience was. There are interactive areas where kids can climb into cockpit cutouts, play, and get hands-on in a way that sparks real excitement and curiosity. It’s the kind of place where you’ll see wide-eyed kids pretending to be pilots while parents and grandparents marvel at the historical significance of the aircraft around them. The museum itself is massive — easily an all-day affair if you want to take in everything it has to offer, and honestly, it’s well worth the time. The layout is great, the exhibits are immersive, and there's something for every age and interest level. Whether you're a history buff, a family looking for an engaging day trip, or someone who simply loves incredible machines and the stories behind them, the National Naval Aviation Museum delivers on all fronts. We'll definitely be back!

The Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, established around 1859, is a must-visit attraction offering guided tours and panoramic views from its top. The museum showcases local history and maritime heritage. Situated in the Pensacola Bay Area, visitors can indulge in various outdoor activities such as kayaking, birdwatching, and exploring the Gulf Islands National Seashore.
Very nice lighthouse. We have been to others but not as preserved as this and you can climb to the top. Sweet ladies in the gift shop and at the top of the platform. 360 amazing view and only 180 steps to climb. Well worth the stop.

We did the sunset and full moon tour of the lighthouse and it was fantastic! Though it said sold out online, we were able to call and see if there had been cancellations the day of the tour and get in! We had a small group. Cheryl led an interesting tour around the keepers quarters and museum for us while Wanda provided a wealth of information at the top of the lighthouse. The view was magnificent. We had a gorgeous sunset and though the full moon was blocked by clouds, Wanda told us some local stories while we waited for the moon to come above the clouds. This lighthouse is so well maintained and full of history. The view is amazing. The staff was so great and we’re so thankful we got this experience!

This was a nice place to visit and see, especially for those who like history. The museum has a lot of information about how the lighthouse was maintained in the past. The admission price was a bit steep in my opinion (I think $9.50/person for those that aren’t seniors/military).

Have to go onto the Navy base to get to the lighthouse. Once you get there the old light keepers house and grounds are a museum with lots of info and even a reading room to learn about lighthouses. After 177 steps the view is beautiful including the beach and naval airstrip where the blue angels are.
Jaygee S — Google review
A must visit when in or around Pensacola. The view from the lighthouse is spectacular! It's even better if you happen to catch the Navy's Blue Angels practicing. The Blue Angels and Aviation Museum are directly across from the lighthouse.

Pretty cool lighthouse that let's you climb all the way to the top. It actually still works and is moving while you are up there. Their is a museum on-site of how the light keeper lived and worked on a day to day basis. Its just under $10 a person.
Jacob S — Google review
This was an awesome place to visit. The light house staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. Never enjoyed a gift shop near as much as the one attached to this tour.
Stephanie S — Google review
Arrive early to avoid delays entering the navy territory. Enter Pensacola West, not on the other side. We climbed the 177 steps to the top and saw panoramic views of the Gulf Coast, Pensacola Bay, and the historic naval air station. It's a must-visit landmark for anyone exploring the Pensacola area. Everything g can be seen within 90 minutes.

Historic Fort Barrancas, located in Pensacola, is a well-preserved hilltop fort with a rich military history. Built in 1787 and fully established in 1844, it played a crucial role in defending the Gulf Coast. The fort features impressive brickwork, underground passageways, living stations for soldiers, and depots for weapons. Visitors can take daily tours to explore the fortress and the Spanish Water Battery while enjoying spectacular water views from the top.
A beautiful fort! Open every fourth Friday of the month. Wear sneakers to avoid sand spurs and ants. The people who work here are friendly and informative. Educational and well maintained!

Informative, and fun way to get a bit of walking in! The docent at the visitor center was welcoming and knowledgeable. He got us oriented and on our way quickly. Our kids are 6 and 2 and all steps/walking paths are good for them. The exterior had a lot of open space keep the 2 year old happy for running and exploring. We'll be back for sure.

We visited Fort Barrancas about 3 weeks ago because it is not only a beautiful historic place to visit but also a great place to take amazing pictures. We took my son there for senior pictures. These images are just the quick snaps I was able to get while the photographer was doing her thing. You will see my son had a little fun at the cannon posing as Captain Morgan lol. On a side note, my husband & I came here to take engagement photos back in 2004 & they turned out amazing as well. Another note I should mention is before going, is to check their hours of operation bc we showed up just before closing so we had to rush. Also, you can schedule a tour & get great historical info from the knowledgeable staff that works there as well. What a great city we live in to be able to be transported back in time for just a little while & slow down for a change even if it is just for an hour or two. I enjoyed the serenity of it all & didn't want to leave.

Small but very well done, the National Park Service has done a bang up job making an old fort into a beautiful area to wander, enjoy the sunshine, wander the long corridors inside the fortifications, and receive a good education about how European conflicts as well as the American Civil War were part of the history of this area. Because of the beautiful open areas and underground tunnels, there's a bit for everyone, including those who like to watch jets and Navy trainer aircraft fly by. If you like history, be sure to spend time to read the various boards in the small but we'll organized visitor center.

As you might know by now, I love going to visit historic forts. This is inside the Naval Air Station. This one is an amazing fort, from its location to the role it played in history. I would say this is a must fort to visit. I would recommend you watch the 12-minute video they have available before you had out to see this historic place. Everything you will see will have a meaning, and you will then begin to imagine how things happened. What a beauty of a place. You really need to take some time when you are there. This is a place where you can't rush it. If you like these types of historic places, you will enjoy everything from the walls to the hallways to the design. I Know I am uploading pictures that might cause you to wonder why those pictures. Well, when you go there, you will say, oh I see why. I would come back here just because I think this is a cool place to visit.
Osman C — Google review
Beautifully maintained fort that you can roam for hours if you choose. The history of this area is unique and worth learning about. Highly recommend stopping here and talking with the employees. The 10 minute video was a great introduction and the fort did not disappoint. Thanks for a wonderful stop on my vacation!
Ricki M — Google review
Another fantastic historic American fort to bring the family to. It's safe and has a lot of neat places to explore. Make sure everyone who's an adult brings an ID. It's inside the Naval Base.
Joseph M — Google review
Fantastic National Park location. You can explore most of this fort on your own and also get a great view of Fort Pickens across Pensacola Bay. The ranger tour is available on the weekends and is well worth it to learn the how the fort was constructed and its history. Highly recommend the Advanced Readout tour if you are more adventurous. This second site (not far from the visitor center) is only accessible with the ranger tour and takes you through the abandoned structure complete with dark passageways and potential encounters with bats, snakes and other local fauna. Not suitable for young children. The fort is located on the Naval Air Station, so you will need to pass through a checkpoint and show ID to get to the fort. There is limited RV parking at the visitor center, so you may want to call ahead and ensure that there is space to park if you are driving a larger rig. The Junior Ranger program for this site is part of the larger Gulf Islands National Seashore booklet, but there are a couple of activities based on exploring the fort or walking on the .5 mile woodland nature trail near the visitor center.

Grizzly Axes is a unique indoor ax-throwing range and rage room located in Pensacola, FL. The facility offers various entertainment options such as pool tables, air hockey, video games, and corn hole while waiting for your turn to throw axes. The staff members are friendly and provide guidance on ax throwing. Visitors can also enjoy beer and wine on-site. It's a family-owned business with a focus on ensuring everyone has a great time.
We absolutely had a blast our evening at Grizzly Axes! Papa Grizzly gave us personal lessons and tips which really improved our throwing. Even with lots of renovations currently in process the place was clean and organized!!!! I can't say enough about the quality of the staff. Both the young lady and young man were extra accommodating, helpful. They provided great service offering refills for our sodas brought to our space! Folks with families need to check this place out they offer fun for ages 8-65 in our group!!! Very reasonable fee for time especially when you compare it to other entertainment in the area!!!!
Christa W — Google review
Party of my son’s bachelor party was here. The employees were awesome! Very nice and super helpful! They take time to show you how to throw and why it works that way. Celebrated with us when we got a bullseye! They also offer a rage room! Highly recommend. They are currently adding a kitchen for something a little more than snacks. We had a great time!
Eric S — Google review
We celebrated two birthdays at Grizzly Axes — my son’s 8th and my husband’s 45th — and it couldn’t have been a better experience! We had family visiting from St. Croix and a full mix of ages: little kids, teens, young adults, middle-aged folks, and even senior citizens. The staff was incredibly accommodating, patient, and kind. Mr. Grizz (the owner) went above and beyond with our group. He personally introduced himself, shared fun stories about axe-throwing champions, and even created contests to make it extra exciting. He somehow convinced our family matriarch — who swore she wouldn’t participate — to give it a try… and she turned out to be a natural! The place was spotless, well-organized, and full of energy. Every single one of us left smiling. If you’re looking for something unique, family-friendly, and just plain fun, Grizzly Axes is the place.

Went with my two friends and we had a great time. Tia & Nick were a lot of fun and made sure we had a great time and gave us a mini lesson with the ax throwing and hooked us up for the range room. Great group of employees here. They definitely know how to make your experience worth it. Thanks guys!

I have never thrown axes before, but this was such a thrilling activity! All the workers were so personable and reassuring! Jenny even organized fun games for us and checked on us throughout the night while making sure we were being safe. Honestly, any of the staff would be capable of safety while making sure you have a great visit! Def one of the coolest spots in Pensacola. Thanks so much Jenny!!!! Honorary picture of the boyfriend making 4 axes in one throw since Zac challenged him to try it! 🤣

I tried it for the first time and it was a lot of fun. The owner Papa Grizz is very friendly. He let me use his personal axe and I hit the bull’s eye by the end of the evening. I’ll be definitely back.

My family took my middle son and I here for our birthdays cause they're only 2 days apart and I have to say that it was one of the best birthdays that I have had. Everyone there was so nice and helpful. We had family in from out of country that we only get to see every few years so it was really special to have such a great time at such a great place. Papa Grizz came by and hung out with us for most of the night and I have to say he is the best owner of any business that I have ever been to! So I want to give a very big shout out to Papa Grizz and say thank you for a great night that none of us will ever forget! We will definitely be back!!!

Laguna's Beach Bar + Grill is not just a place to eat, it's an all-day destination. With over 600 feet of coastline, visitors can enjoy thrilling activities like zip line rides and rope courses or catch their favorite sports team on the largest waterfront screen on Pensacola Beach. The menu offers a variety of options from crispy mozzarella cheese sticks to delectable desserts.
Nicole, James and Jason are AMAZING! The best service EVER. Helped with drink order and made sure we got to enjoy the fire pit. Personally delivered food and made us feel like we were home. Laguna’s is a must stop every time I visit Pensacola. I recommend it every opportunity I get because of them. I really can’t praise enough. Unfortunately, there isn’t a New Orleans location but they have perfected southern hospitality and the food tastes like it’s straight from the Deep South! Definitely the best place to try if you want the best experience!

You have to stop here if you are visiting going to Pensacola Beach with kids. Entire staff is very friendly from the window to buy tickets, to the bar tender, the girls on the ropes course and the guys running the go karts, especially Walt. Walt was great with adults and kids! We stopped by on 8/4. The girls on the ropes were very engaging and making jokes with us. The guys running the go karts were so chill and engaging with customers. The entire staff made this a 5 star experience. My 14yo loved everything they had to offer. I didn’t see 1 kid unhappy on the 3 story ropes course and the go karts. The food and drinks were better than a few places nearby (ie Senor Frogs). We purchased a 4 hours pass on 8/3, which I highly recommend to maximize the fun. A storm blew in about 5 minutes later. They gave us a rain check for the next night. No pushback or anything. Seriously, they provide exceptional customer service. The atmosphere and offerings are perfect for a family with little kids and teenagers.

By far the best food on the beach. We went here as a backup option and we didn’t regret it. The set up is fun that you have options for the kids to play, adults to enjoy a drink and plenty of TV options to watch sports. They also have a lot events that going on. As for the food, The portion size is great and the food was served hot and fresh. Mahi Mahi was perfectly cooked with great seasoning. The burger was seasoned well and cooked fantastic with great fries. The chips and salsa kicked off with a bang with fresh hot chips and a very good salsa. The manager was the one who served us while also making the food and he killed it. Just an overall incredible place and highly recommend it.

Brought my kids and friends here for the adventure area. We paid 50.00 per person to have access to the zip line, splash pad and go carts. Everyone enjoyed themselves. We didn't purchase any food or drinks while here. Parking is kinda horrible though. Very tight spaces and if 1 person parks where they are not supposed to, it'll block in dozens of people.

Best service ever! What a team and Dylan is the coach always pumping up the crew when the place is packed. Was in the industry for 20 year in my youth and this kind of leadership and enthusiasm is what makes a great place. Not to mention Dylan makes the best margaritas I’ve ever had!

We had a great waitress! She told us what was good to eat and suggested things we could do in the area. Food was good and beer was cold (but no draft) My husband had the Philly cheesesteak and I had Mahi the kids got pizza and pretzel bites and a ceasar wrap. Food was delicious and the bay was beautiful to look at during dinner!

I love this park! It is a walk away and has two different dog parks, playgrounds, tennis courts, work out area and lots of trails. Add in boat ramps, senior center and a new community center and it is amazing. Only big downer is the water quality of the Bayou. The Dog Beach would be so much better if you didn’t have to worry about your dog getting sick from the water.

My dogs had so much fun here! It was a nice beach and clean. There's a house station where you can spray off and bowls for water. There are two gazebos with benches for people to sit. The is a very nice bathroom facility just outside the gate as well. Overall a fun time.

The park was really nice. There are picnic tables along the water. They have bathrooms for all and also a boat dock. Also a dock out over the water for fishing or just enjoying a stroll.
Belinda C — Google review
Great park in general. It is nice over looking the water. Good things to play for the children, to take your dog to run around dry or wet where they can play on the water. It's nice that they have things for the kids to run around with. But I think it would be nice to get overhaul and fix this park. People can reserve a spot for tables for pinics or parties. Plenty of parking spaces. Great place to launch your boat. It's a nice park and I think it could use a facelift from over the years of neglect. Hopefully when this place gets renovated, they will replace some of the play area.

Chuck E. Cheese is a popular family-friendly chain that offers arcade games, pizza parties, play zones, and features a mouse mascot. Visitors have noted that the location they visited was conveniently situated near major facilities and praised the friendly staff upon arrival. While some found it to be on the pricier side, they appreciated the cleanliness of the establishment initially but observed a decline as it got busier. The concept of using plastic cards for game coupons received positive feedback for its convenience.
Perfect place to take my guys with special needs. Went mid day so it wasn't too crowded, and they were able to play. Noise was not too over bearing for them. They had a great time!

Recently remodeled and looks great! New games, mostly all working at the time we went. Very small trampoline area and there is a height limit, it is not for our big kids. The Food was great, the service was great, staff was friendly. The establishment was very clean considering it is a place for children.

After attending a birthday party at the "cousin" business Monkey Joe, in Georgia .. this place is hands down better. The building was neat clean and well-maintained. The food was pretty good surprisingly. I liked the way it worked. The child receives a plastic card and all coupons the child earns are stored on the card. I liked the ability to set the card to allow the child to play as many games for a pre-determined amount of time. Antonio, or Tony...is a great employee as he was so patient with me, and the children. This place was so impressive, and my children had so much fun we went back the next day.

Definitely was expensive spent $175 for 5 people ( pizza 🍕, game cards, & drinks, & wings). Expect to pay 💰 for your enjoyment. I would say it was clean 🧼 until the crowd started rolling in and staff got behind on cleaning. A few dirty tables and trash was overflowing. Games was working well. The family did enjoy their time playing and food was good. 😊 I highly recommend definitely good for ages 3- 10.

Made sure I had what I needed and checked on me as often as I would prefer with not too much hassle. They're smoothie machine drinks are pretty good but can come across the little sweet. But don't fret they do have regular beers and other drinks available as they do have a full bar. An absolute must if you're walking around the boardwalk area in Pensacola you can take these drinks to go! You heard that correct you can take them to go in their styrofoam cups.

Cordova Lanes Inc. is a family-friendly bowling alley that offers frequent specials and features a sports bar with plenty of TVs and drinks. Open to the public for both league and recreational play hours, it hosts weekly events such as pizza night, glow bowling, and Penny-a-Pin specials. The lanes are well-oiled, making it an enjoyable experience for those who know how to bowl.
We took a 2 year old on her first bowling trip and she enjoyed using the metal ramp for youngsters. Turns out, the 4 adults with her had abilities comparable to the toddler's, so perhaps we should have made use of the programmable, mechanical gutter guards. All the family fun had us wondering why our families didn't go when we were young. Took us most of a game to recall how smokey and miserable alleys used to be. Definitely recommend.
Emilie S — Google review
Tried to have fun, but couldn't. The guy next to me and my fiance didn't really like us being in the lane next to him. He said he couldn't focus because we were in that lane. For example, I happened to be bowling at the same time as him. He would tell me to back up so he could focus. He would also say that my fiance and I couldn't bowl while he was bowling. The food was good, but the chili was a little suspicious. Overall, I tried to have a good time but just couldn't.

Went for a birthday party, and the kids had a blast. The music wasn't too loud, which was nice, but we had to walk through another birthday party on lanes 3&4 to get to ours on lanes 1&2. Made me feel kinda awkward, but wasn't a huge deal.

Pretty fun place to go lanes are oiled very very well so keep that in mind if you actually know how to bowl music wasn't too loud good selection of Music good crowd of people pretty great place to take your kids and family a lot of the stuff was already closed not quite sure why but the only drawback I would have about this place is it is pricey for what it is bowling shouldn't cost 50 60 $70 to take your family and have a good time I ran at 10 million a year large business that one of our main profits came from bowling and I will not speak the name of this large company but they're higher on prices at Cordova Lanes then they were at this big corporate chain other than that I would say that it's a pretty decent place and a good place to go
Jackie L — Google review
First time going to this bowling alley and while the other patrons were great, staff (Shana?) was not. Not only did our party get yelled (from the desk) at because the lane malfunctioned but then my child who was 12 years old got screamed at from the front desk that he can’t use the kids ball because it’s for kids. She stated that if he touches that ball, she will turn our game off. When I asked what the age range was for the kids balls she said there is no range, but he can’t use the kids balls…then threatened to call the police!! This is crazy as a 12 year old child should be able to use a “kids” ball. I immediately removed my family and we will not be back!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!!!! Or your family!!!

Our Valentines' bowling party was so much fun! I was throwing it for @ 15 fabulous ladies. What a cost-effective way to throw a fun, active party! Mgr. Tim, Donna at snack bar, Carolyn on the 🎳 alleys & Steve made sure we were taken great care! TY so very much
Karen S — Google review
It's a bowling alley. Not much else to say. The guy at the front counter was kinda grumpy and told us when we asked for a lighter ball that it was for little kids, not adults. It was very packed and we had to wait 10 minutes but not that bad. The problem was when the resetting machine kept either getting stuck, knocking down pins, or just breaking. We had to press the reset button 3 times and get a worker to help us. The place is definitely outdated. Overall, nothing special but a good place to go bowling I guess.

If you're on the hunt for an exhilarating experience, look no further than Radical Rides! Nestled along the picturesque boardwalk of Pensacola Beach, this vibrant establishment has been a staple in the community for over 25 years. Here, you can dive into adventure by renting jet skis, kayaks, or waverunners and even try your hand at parasailing.
Such a fun family adventure! I took my 8 and 10 year old boys with me, my 8 year volunteered us first to go. We shared a boat with 2 other families a total of 10 people on board plus Captain Chandler and the muscle/photographer Jason. Captain Chandler and Jason were amazing! Not only were they professional but they were fun and playful with the kids on board. As we were heading back to the dock, my 10 year old’s hat flew off, Captain Chandler excitedly yelled they were going back for it! Charlene and Jason successfully rescued my son’s hat 😊. It was a fun side adventure. I highly recommend it!

My wife and I were blessed to enjoy a Parasail ride this week with Radical Rides. I was a little worried, as my wife struggles with her balance and walks with a cane, but the Captain and First Officer were gracious and got her on the boat safely and then making sure she was well cared for during our ride. It might be the high point of our trip and we’re both glad we did it.

Great experience! They were absolutely wonderful. We're open with how it would all go. I was nervous about the safety aspec of it. But they explained everything very well and it was a wonderful experience.

The girls enjoyed their experience! The guys on the boat were amazing! I wish it was done out in the clear water and not in the bay. The media package downloaded very blurry.

First timers! We had a great time and felt totally safe in the hands of our captain and his first mate. I can’t remember names, but one was bearded and the other had a ponytail. They were both super professional, attentive, and obviously concerned with making sure we had a great first time. We went up and came down smoothly, no issues. I was super nervous, but glad I did it. Our group opted not to “dip,” but my husband’s crew got “dipped”, which means as you’re coming down, they’ll drop you in just to dip you up and then bring you on board. It was neat! You go about 400ft up, and I personally don’t like heights but it’s a gradual climb and if you can just lean back and breathe, the nerves do fade. We had a 9:00am reservation and got there 30 minutes early. Our group was out on the water by 9:10 and the whole trip was about 45 minutes- 1 hour. They have a whole system of while one group is up, another is getting prepped. You’re only up for about ten minutes per group. If you go with Radical Rides, you’ll be well taken care of!

This place was perfect. The guys are all cool, friendly, down to earth, professional and easy to look at 😁😁 They make sure that you get a good length of ride time. We went twice yesterday. The 2nd time we were the only ones on the boat. It was so beautiful and peaceful. My place of happiness! Thanks guys!

Indoor playground

Recreation center
Bounce House is an indoor playground filled with colorful inflatables, foam pits, and games that provide a safe environment for kids to run, jump, bounce, and slide. It's suitable for toddlers and children up to around 12 years old. The facility offers unlimited playtime and also provides snacks, pizza, and drinks for visitors. While there is a section dedicated to smaller kids, it's the parents' responsibility to monitor them as it's not fully gated.
The outside of the building feels a little outdated and unwelcoming. The floors are super dirty and need replaced. But other than that my 3 year old had a blast! They had tons of toys and different bounce houses. It says up to age 13 but I don't see anyone over the age of 10 having fun here, it's catered more for young children.
Lawryn M — Google review
We had my son’s birthday party here on March 1st. It was fine, not great but not horrible. However, apparently they were having an issue with their card processing system so when they ran my card it didn’t charge my account. Almost 3 months later, they charged my card $265 with absolutely no warning. When I called to ask about it, I was told that it had affected 100’s of customers and the owner/manager made the decision to not warn people about this and to run the cards with no notice.
Savannah S — Google review
Is a good place to take your kids and you do not feel like being in the heat. They have different bounce houses, the kids had a blast.
Alexander R — Google review
Bring socks. It’s SUPER small. Not bad for super small kids, I don’t think I’d bring older ones here. Staff has been friendly and attentive to the children. The bathrooms were super dirty and the place could probably use a good deep clean. I like that the play is unlimited for the $12. They don’t charge the adults. Looks like they have one small party room. Tried to get a pizza but they were closing a party and there was no one in the kitchen. Slushy was pretty melted.
Lindsey ( — Google review
Nice place to take the kids for fun! Time was unlimited. They offer snacks, pizza, and drinks. There is a section for smaller kids but its not locked in or fully gated and no one monitors- it's the parents job. The big kids have about 5 different bounce houses to choose from, outside of the small kid area. Don't forget your socks!
Kaytie B — Google review
The reviews about the floors are accurate, they could be cleaner. However, there aren't many insoor be used for small children at the cost of $15.00. Super friendly and helpful staff willing to answer questions and assist in any way. They have passed for various lengths and have themes for birthday parties. We will make return visits, especially on rainy or excessively hot days. Thank you all for a wonderful experience.
Rodney W — Google review
This place is a fun place for the kids to play especially on a hot day. However this place needs some updating desperately! The video game controllers barely work. 1 of the 4 tvs doesn't have a game hooked up to it anymore. There are tiles to the tile floorin the girls bathroom that are missing or broken. The entire place needs to be repainted including the bathrooms. Pieces of the foam tile floor all throughout the play area are bubbled and torn that could cause someone to fall. Air hockey pucks need to be replaced. It is a good place but it needs serious attention and work considering it cost $17 a child. The young ladies that work there are great
Sherry S — Google review
A true gem for kids actually just for kids. No alcohol or adult related activity. Kids love to move and jump this is a great place for a kid to be a kid. Indoors with no other distractions just for the kids. this place is a true blessing for the kids of Pensacola.

Loved my experience here today! Nice shaded place so ok to go when it's HOT outside. There's 20 or so large enclosures to look at birds. Mostly owls, hawks, eagles, and vultures. Took my friend and I about 20 minutes to walk through and enjoy the views. There's even a lake with a pier at the end to look at turtles. Suggested donation is $3 but we dropped in a little more. Happy to pay it for this neat spot!
Vanna S — Google review
My daughter and I found an injured bird in our driveway. I called to let them know we were on our way from a 45 min drive and they were going to be close to closing. She said just call if we were going to be late and they would wait. We made it there 5 mins before. Someone greeted us at the door and took it inside. It was a very pleasant experience. They even had owls outside in an enclosure that we had the pleasure of seeing.

I took my 14 and 12-year-old grandchildren today and they both enjoyed it. We donated some items from the wish list and the employee that greeted us was very sweet. I like that there are some "photo opp" areas and picnic tables in a nice shaded area on the premises.

Step into The Grid Arcade and immerse yourself in a nostalgic 80s experience illuminated by neon lights and adorned with restored arcade cabinets from decades past. Owner Daniel Demeter's passion for preserving vintage games is evident as customers drop tokens into machines, attempting to beat high scores. With cup holders attached to pinball machines, guests can enjoy their favorite drinks while playing. Conveniently, the token machine accepts credit cards and even offers discounts for cash payments.
This place is so much fun! My boyfriend and I come pretty often for a beer and some great games. We love the pinball machines and the classic arcade feel of all of it. The staff is so kind as well. B is especially awesome! She made us feel welcomed and even gave some great beer suggestions. Highly recommend this place.

Atmosphere is nostalgic like a boss, especially being a Tron fan like i am. Great place, keep up the good work Mr. Owner, places like this need to exist!

Unique establishment that doesn’t look like much on the outside but is worth a stop. They do not have liquor but a wine based liquor alternative that I found to be pretty good in mixed drinks. They have a decent selection of games including pinball, retro games like Digdug, and things like air hockey. Most games are ¢50-¢75 to play. Definitely a worthwhile stop on a date night!

We love a good arcade, and this was a great arcade for the whole family. There was a little bit of everything from the old school arcade games to the traditional games like pool, air hockey, and skee ball. There was a great selection of pinball games to choose from. It was a great place to unwind in a laid back atmosphere with some good drinks. Thanks B for some great drink recommendations.

The Grid is a real 80s Arcade experience. They have a lot of great games that cost mainly 25c for one play session, some other games cost 50c and $1 but overall it’s a fun cheap experience. They accept card and Apple Pay for their token machine and you get a discount for using cash. I highly recommend giving this place a try, it’s also family friendly from all day on Sunday and Tuesday-Saturday from open-9pm. For adult they offer beer and then they have soda and chips for kids. The owner is a really cool dude and so is his employees, they also are planning on expanding the building. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!

I cannot say enough great words about this place!!! We had a FANTASTIC time!! We did escape the pirate cave, and the WONDERFUL gentleman that was there working was incredibly helpful and sweet and took GREAT care of us! There were 5 of us in our group and working together we were able to figure out the clues with the help of that wonderful gentleman and he made it so much more fun with the helpful hints and guidance when we got stuck. Had a visit during the week and also on the weekend. It's very family friendly. Lots of shops restaurants and photo opportunities. A wonderful pier to walk down and also swimming areas. Water is not deep at all for the most part. Night life is beautiful and easy to park. Daytime the parking is difficult but there is so much life. Make new friends, meet new people. This is a terrible, horrible, very bad no good place. You definitely shouldn’t ever go here, just leave it empty for me and the wife. It’s all sandy and serene with gently lapping water. I mean gross right? Sometimes you even are subjected to seeing dolphins which serves no real porpoise at all. Worse than that you can even have mimosas with your feet in the water while enjoying the sun. Trust me and stay away, if you do show up though clean up after yourself, pack in pack out.

Step back in time and explore Pensacola's history with a touch of flair on the Go Retro Tours. This unique experience takes you on guided bus tours using vintage buses, offering a quirky and entertaining way to delve into the city's past. From haunted history to World War II and Civil War battles, these themed tours provide an immersive journey through Pensacola's historical narratives.
Terry was our guide and knew more about Pensacola than I did and he's not even from here. I went with a group of friends from work and we all enjoyed it. We did the Red Light District Tour which was super interesting. Our only advise would be to remove some of the racier parts of the video. We're no prudes, just a bit much & not necessary for the tour. Tour was a lot of fun and we all want to do another one! Great time.

Terry was an awesome tour guide. He said from the beginning his goal was to make all of us have fun. Well, he exceeded those expectations. He was very good at explaining where we were and what kind of haunting took place there. He was also very personable. The bus was cool especially having the tv screens so we could see the image of the place since the windows on the bus were not large. Overall, would highly recommend. Will probably do the hop on/off tour next time we are in Pensacola.
Newell R — Google review
We went on both the hop on hop off tour and the haunted ghost and graveyard tour, and we LOVED IT. The hop on hop off tour features much of Pensacola’s unique down town attractions, as well as coupons! It’s a great bargain and has a great variety of options to get out and explore Pensacola. No matter what you like there’s a stop you’ll be interested in. The haunted graveyard tour is not for the faint of heart, it details much of the rich but dark history of the town. Our tour guide Duel was fantastic! He had a lot of knowledge on each location as well as personal experiences to share with us, it really brought the tour to life. If you’re looking to explore Pensacola and don’t know where to start the hop on hop off is my recommendation for sure!

This food tour was the absolute highlight of our trip! We had the pleasure of joining Sophie and Wesley for a culinary adventure—and wow, they delivered!!! Their deep understanding of local cuisine and restaurant culture made every stop feel intentional and special. They shared fascinating insights about ingredients, cooking techniques, and the history behind each dish. Every bite was a revelation—clearly curated by people who know great food. From hidden gems to iconic bites, their selections were spot-on and delicious, while focusing on supporting local. They were warm, engaging, and made everyone feel welcome. Their passion for food is contagious, and their storytelling added so much flavor to the tour. The handmade Pot-roast egg-roll and duck fries were unforgettable.” II’ll never forget the Smoked Ole fashion!! Have been on many great food tours with NEW YORK being a favorite and this tour was just as AMAZING!! If you’re a foodie, this tour is a must!!!!!

This was a short but great tour of the historic end of Pensacola. Our guide was very well educated and super helpful and friendly. The only complaint I have is that we were looking forward to the old bus style ride. We were directed to their van for the tour. I feel that we didn’t get to ride on the older one due to the extreme heat at that time. A must do while in Pensacola

This tour with GoRetro Tours was an absolute highlight of our trip to Pensacola! We experienced both the "Hop On Hop Off" tour and the "Ghost and Graveyard" tour, and they were fantastic. Our guide, Duel, was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also made the entire experience fun and entertaining. As we zipped through downtown, we uncovered the expansive history of Pensacola in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. Duel's passion for the city's past was contagious, and it's clear he loves what he does. The tours were so informative and inspiring that we’re now planning a return trip just to visit the many museums we learned about. If you're looking for a unique, informative, and genuinely enjoyable way to explore Pensacola, this is it. Don't miss out on this fantastic tour!

Cruisin' Tikis Pensacola Beach is your go-to spot for an extraordinary island-style adventure right on the stunning shores of Pensacola Beach. This unique experience features floating tiki bars that allow you to explore the breathtaking emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico while enjoying quality time with friends and family. Whether you're looking to unwind after a long day or celebrate a special occasion, Cruisin' Tikis offers unforgettable sunset cruises that are perfect for relaxation and fun.
I rented both tiki boats for a birthday celebration for my friends for a 1.5 hour sunset cruise, and it was so much fun! Although the clouds didn't part for a spectacular sunset as I had hoped, we still had an enjoyable time. Pam was absolutely wonderful in booking/planning the event, and we enjoyed both of our captains, Dylan and Mel. They put up with our shenanigans with a smile!

This cruise was amazing! captain Dan really went out of his day to make our day special! Picture of Captain Dan never losing a smile! He’s truly the best captain we could have asked for! He even got fancy and put on a Lei with us!

Here's The BAD: We scheduled our sunset cruise the day of my 30th Birthday, August 31st. Sadly, once we Walked, 15 minutes (from our hotel), to the location we were told by Mel & Tyler that the only thing available was a pontoon. Sorry, thats great and all, but we paid for a Floating Tiki Hut!!! Needless to say, if we didn't have the time or an open schedule the next evening I would've been pressed/pissed even more. You literally ask for our phone number for the reservation, so please. If things change, give your customers a COURTESY CALL. No call is going to be infuriating to the wrong person. Here's The Good: The Following Evening, we were warmly greeted by JEFFERY RIEGERT. This man is a gem. Polite, courteous, loves his sunset job of relaxing while showing his passangers around. He was a phenomenal tour guide and invited us to take plenty of pictures. Even taking pictures of him with his captains hat which I requested. He invited us to get waters out of the cooler or even ice. We made the most of it and will cast away again... Jeffery saved yall from a 2 star review. So please show him some love from us and your company. If you'd like 3 stars to go to 4 please send me a reply.

What an amazing time. Captain Tim was the greatest. Took my brother his grandson and my two teenage granddaughters. Captain Tim got in the water and played around with the grandson. Did some great snorkeling, got to see a dolphin swimming around our tiki boat. Thank you for a wonderful memory.

Captain Mel was a super chill tiki boat captain with a vibe that set the tone for the night!! He got us a one in a lifetime dolphin experience and let us enjoy our music the entire trip!!

The sunset cruise was the perfect way to unwind and relax after our first day on vacation. Mel was amazing! Aka- captain beef cake 🤣 He took song requests, and answered all of our questions as we cruised. We saw several dolphins and he made sure to stop and let us get our pictures and videos. Super laid back, and you can tell he loves what he does! We gave him a new nickname: swell Mel. We will be back, and we will be requesting him again! Also want to add- Pam in the office is amazing! She was so quick to respond to text/email inquiries. Overall this company is doing it right!

Melvin was amazing! We booked the sunset cruise and had an absolute blast! We highly recommend anyone taking this cruise! It’s BYOB and you can hook your music up through their speaker system. Melvin made our experience a memorable one! Do yourself a favor and book the cruise, you will not regret it!

We had an awesome time on the Tiki Cruise in Pensacola Beach! It was so relaxing, and the atmosphere was perfect. The captain went above and beyond, even taking extra time so we could see dolphins, which was such a highlight. Everything about the experience was laid-back and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be doing it again!

Bruce Beach is a picturesque spot in Pensacola, offering stunning sunset views over the Gulf of Mexico and the Gulf Islands National Seashore. Visitors can explore intimate side streets near Portofino Island Resorts for unique vantage points to enjoy the unforgettable sunsets. The beach provides separate advantage points on both the Gulf and sound sides, with occasional impromptu Blue Angels sightings.
Amazing park! Absolutely love how the entire area has turned out.

Such a great, family friendly area! Sadly, people leave their park trash at the water but, overall, beautiful place. Fun play area.

Beautiful place, great for relaxing with family or friends. Lots of rich Pensacola history presented throughout the beach. PLEASE TAKE YOUR TRASH AND CIGARETTE BUTTS with you, this place is beautiful, let's keep it that way.

I cannot recommend this park enough! The city really did a beautiful job! I'm so proud of the work our local area did in preserving this space for the wildlife and the natural eco system. Again this park is beautiful! The photos really don't do it justice!
Jennifer S — Google review
Probably not ideal for kids. It’s a little rugged and over grown. Picnic area is over grown. Beach was small but secluded seeming. Free parking and garbage cans on site and a few picnic benches. Nice view. They may be neglecting taking care of this beach since the city is going to rebuild the entire thing.

Love this place ! Volleyball / sand / walking path! Made a useless area something people can enjoy

There’s a sign that says swim at your own risk bc of bacteria in the water. This is more a dog park than a swim beach. Not what I was looking for. Parking was $12 plus taxes. There were green beach chairs and a picnic table but no shade at all

Condor Sailing Adventures offers a unique and luxurious experience aboard the world-class 40-foot Condor racing trimaran, Dare II. Captain Kirk provides a fun and relaxing atmosphere for daily two-hour cruises at various times, allowing guests to enjoy the smooth sailing experience on Pensacola Bay. The trimaran is known for its stability, making it suitable even for those prone to seasickness.
Fabulous experience. Captain Kirk was very informative on safety regarding boarding, riding, and getting off of the sail boat. He was very knowledgeable and willing to share his experiences and expertise of sailing. The overall experience was both relaxing and educational. Captain Kirk was very thoughtful, from beginning to end, in making our experience genuine offering snacks and beverages to add additional comfort. The boat glided across the water and we had no bouts of sea sickness. We will be booking with him when we come back in August to share the experience with our kids.
Nick C — Google review
Captain Kirk made our experience one of a kind! This was during our first family trip to the beach. We did not want to be in a crowded boat like the other dolphin cruises. This is something totally different! He is very attentive and knowledgeable, great with kids, our 4 year old was able to relax, take a nap, not be afraid of the boat rocking back and forth! It just glides through the water so smoothly. He also was very personable, and asked questions to get to know us. This is something we will always remember and will definitely do again when we return! A must do!
Hailee D — Google review
Amazing. Captain Kirk knows his thing. This was our second time sailing on the Condor. Both times were great. The first time the weather had been touch and go all week and Captain Kirk always communicated with us and still got us out on the water and we still had a great time. Three kids aged 6 to 11 really had a blast. We repeated our trip a year later and this time the weather was beautiful for a sunset cruise. The captain spent extra time and effort tracking down some dolphins which delighted the kids. He's always professional, informative and concerned with everybodies safety and happiness. We plan on coming back some day.
Stephen D — Google review
My husband and I sailed on the Condor for a sunset sail the last evening of our vacation and to say that it was the highlight of our vacation is an understatement! We had actually planned on sailing at the beginning of our vacation however the weather did not cooperate. I'm so glad we chose to reschedule and give it another shot. Captain Kirk was very knowledgeable about the boat and sailing in general and he made sure everyone was safe and comfortable at all times. We had actually brought a bottle of champagne for the evening and he chilled it for us and even got us some real wine glasses to drink out of instead of the plastic ones we brought. He even took time to take pictures to capture the moment for all of us. You can tell that he truly cares about making the experience special for his guests. The icing on the cake was not only did we see a beautiful sunset, but we saw a pod of dolphins that were feeding in the bay and they were practically swimming under our feet . If you are in the Pensacola area and you are looking for a great date night or just a memorable evening or day sail with friends I highly recommend sailing with Captain Kirk on the Condor.
Jessica M — Google review
What a way to celebrate my lifelong friend's birthday yesterday. So fun! Sailing on the Condor was an unforgettable experience for us both. From the moment we stepped on board, Captain Kirk made us feel both welcome and at ease, balancing professionalism with a genuine sense of fun. He went above and beyond even before the cruise. I was attempting a surprise box or two of baked goods from a bakery in Milton and he agreed to stash them (hide them) in the cabin prior to her arrival. I had so many questions with regard to ease of getting on the Condor and he assured me beforehand he'd help in any way. He was so helpful every step of the way. The trip was equal parts adventure and relaxation and we had a perfect weather day. When the sails went up and the Condor picked up speed, you could really feel the history of this racing yacht. It wasn’t just a sightseeing cruise—it felt like being part of a living piece of sailing history. At the same time, there were plenty of moments to simply sit back, enjoy the sea breeze, and take in the beautiful views. The trip made us want to learn more about sailing. What stood out most was Captain Kirk's assistance and enthusiasm. He encouraged us to get hands-on if we wanted. He explained how the sails worked and even let us take a turn at the helm. We felt like real sailors! We enjoyed the sound of Pensacola Bay and loved the feel of cutting through the water. It was way much smoother than we ever imagined. So fun letting our feet dangle in the water, too! The racing trimaran (Dare II) itself is a legend—fast, sleek, and surprisingly comfortable for such a high-performance vessel. The seats are super comfortable as well. Felt like a 'luxury' adventure. :) The Condor sailing experience, in my opinion, is perfect for anyone and/or any age looking for more than a typical excursion on the water. It blends the thrill of competitive sailing with the ease of a guided trip, making it memorable for seasoned sailors and first-timers alike. Highly recommend and can't wait to book again when my sister and brother-in-law are in town next. Thank you again for an unforgettable memory.
Terri O — Google review
We originally were suppose to go out on the Condor August 15, but Captain Kirk was watching the weather and the clouds. He told us it wasn’t wise to go out and said to come back August 16. We did and it was beautiful weather. Also not as hot as the day before. We saw three dolphins and had a great time. We will go again when friends come down to visit. Highly recommend checking this out.

The most enjoyable sunset sail! My husband and I loved every second. The ride was so smooth. I typically get motion sickness and had zero! With only six seats, it was quiet, relaxing, and intimate. We saw multiple dolphins and Captain Kirk had the boat follow them and we got to watch them play for a while. Also- the sunset was incredible! Highly recommend this trip and Captain Kirk!

My friend and I had an incredible experience on our private 3-hour tour yesterday. We saw dolphins up close and personal, which was truly breathtaking. Our guide Michael provided us with informative commentary throughout the tour, making it a very engaging experience. Highly recommended!

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Booked our private dolphin tour which cost nearly $400. Went to the dock early as the email confirmation said, nobody was there nor were they answering the phone. Finally got in touch with someone and they had to call around and figure out what was going on. When he finally called back 20 minutes after we were suppose to of already been gone, they informed us there was nobody to take us out. Absolutely horrible experience and the man at hot spot charters who answered was very very rude, condescending and non apologetic. Absolute pathetic customer service. There was another charter who overheard what we had to go through and thankfully that man saved the day for my kids.

The Tivoli High House, a historic building in the preserved neighborhood of Historic Pensacola Village, serves as both a visitors center and a store. Here, visitors can obtain information about the various museums and buildings in the area, as well as purchase tickets for the historic tour. The Tivoli High House features an architectural style inspired by Alamo missions and offers clean restroom facilities for visitors' convenience.
I first want to thank Brenna who operates the Tivioli House gift shop and ticket sales. When I purchased the tickets, she informed me that our tour guide would be Hannah when viewing the historic Homes at Pensacola. She said that Hannah was exceptional at her job and her favorite guide. I can guarantee you we were not disappointed as Hannah was fantastic! She was able to keep our entire group entertained which included around 30 people ranging in age from 4 to 87. I could not have asked for a better experience to be able to share my love for Pensacola history with my extended family. If you have the opportunity to venture downtown, I highly recommend attending the tour. It’s informative and entertaining! If you can request Hannah as your guide, I would absolutely recommend that you do so. As another reviewer mentioned, the tickets are good for one week to be able to do a self-guided tour to the museum of commerce, museum of industry, children’s museum, Pensacola arts museum, and I also learned you can get 50% off at the mess hall, which is a fun science, hands-on museum for kids. It’s in the heart of downtown so you can go and get some good eats and do some shopping after you have taken in this amazing historical treat.

Access is included in the admission to the Wentworth Museum. This Tivoli House is the first on a guided tour of historic Pensacola. Tour consists of three homes and a church. Our guide (I want to say her name was Vivian) was EXCELLENT; very knowledgeable, entertaining and kept a good pace. The tour is age restricted.

The guided tour of Pensacola Village is really informative and interesting. Ticket purchases last a whole week which is a plus. There are several stops along the tour; a few houses (Julee cottage and Tivoli house) with deep history as well as Old Christ Church. A neat little thing to do while in Pensacola.

I travel the country and play in a ton of rooms. This room definitely makes me feel like I need to take a shower after I walk out. From old, worn down, and dirty chips to the demeanor of some of the dealers, this room just feels dirty. It's very rare that I hear dealers use profanity at the table but on multiple occasions I heard it. (I'm not a prude, it's just a little shocking to hear it coming from a dealer. The play in this room feels very friendly unless you are not a regular.. While I walked away a winner, I definitely felt targeted at the table. I recommend this room take a look at both playing nine-handed and just the overall quality of the room itself. There's much better options a little under 2 hours away.
Ariel H — Google review
I would give one star but some of the dealers were actually cool and polite. But the bankers were rude and the entire place needs a makeover and the bathrooms were not clean at all. Don't plan on ever reattending.
Jay H — Google review
This place has seen better days for sure! Dingy and rundown. Can't speak to the poker room, but the OTB was adequate, both machine bet, and live teller. Plenty of tvs but the actual dog track on-site is overgrown and an eyesore! The snack bar/grill was okay. Most likely wouldn't return.
G. D — Google review
Went to play in a 30,000 guaranteed tourney. After registration it took 1 hr and 20 min to get in the game and had to play some deep stacks. Yes I did get pocket kings and double up but it could have made for a hard time. Too many cash games going on at the same time. Place is kinda run down compared to other establishments.
Ariston G — Google review
We were pleasantly surprised! Very clean, plenty of parking and seating inside, NO SMOKING HALLELUJAH!!! People who work there are Super Nice and the lady that takes your bets is Fast and Friendly!!
Bobbi C — Google review
Man, what a cool blast from the 80s past. As far west of Pensacola that you can get off hwy98 on dog track road, sits the 75 year old Pensacola Dog Track and Poker Room. Outdated appeal? Yes! Falling apart exterior? Yes! But, at least the inside is preserved and not updated. I love the black block painted signs above tellers and state department doors instructing patrons with "Cash Out" & "IRS" reminders. One half of the inside is dedicated floor space to 5 and 10 dollar minimum poker. 20 poker, pai gau, 3 card poker, Texas Holdem, and Aligator one card drawd tables. The gaming floor /facility is eparated by a big L Shaped snack bar with hot and cold, $7-$10 sandwiches, $5 booze, or your choice from 3 out of 6 working taps flowing cold $4 draft beer. On the other side was where I played. The televised remnants of Grey hound dog racing is here. Bet on your ponys or dogs, live, but not on the track. Instead, dozens of wall mounted monitors broadcast races every 10 to 20 minutes from tracks where greyhound racing is still allowed, including Mexico and the 26 tracks in Austrailia. Only about 25 patrons bet on dogs around me on this sparse Tueaday night. About 12 of 20 poker tables were live and racking in the chips from a cornecopia of retired men, middle aged asians nail shop owners, blue colar AC repairmen (names on workshirts, trucks in parking lot), Very few women. The original track pictured is overgrown, the dog kennel area is still there, Idle since 2019, the terraced betters seating box area with hundreds of leather swivel chairs and cocktail tables await the reverse trend back toward live Grey hound racing, if it ever happens. For now the Wind River Indian Casino Group purchased and runs this facility. I may have won $20 dollars on 2 races. My Dad won for 2 hours until he didn't. I also had a lovely conversation with a manager who shared the history of the track. I want to go back to Pensacola Dog Track for more cool nostalgia, nice folks, cold beer, while sitting there to see if my $5 bet on my choice dog running the next race in Wheeling, WV pays off again.
